Piccolo Espresso Bar is a cozy and quaint independent coffee shop located on Bridge Street in Worksop, England. The small traditional building has a warm and inviting atmosphere with only a few seating tables and bar stools available. Customers can enjoy a variety of coffee options, including cappuccino, which can be ordered at the counter for cash or card payment. The friendly staff will bring your order to your seat, providing a pleasant and refreshing experience.
This was my 1st visit here to this independent coffee shop .There's 3 steps to combat upto the entrance door of this old style traditional building but once inside you'll find its very small but with a cosy feel to the place as there only 2 or 3 seating tables along with 8 bar stools & worktops .I placed my Cappuccino coffee £3.20p)order @the counter, (cash or card payments are accepted. ) then i was told by the pleasant lady on duty to take a seat & I'll bring it over which was a nice surprise & refreshing change to hear.I sat on one of the three stools located with a view out of the front window. After hearing the coffee beans being grounded noise ,It was quite a few minutes before my Cappuccino arrived which looked very nice in a smallish cup with light chocolate sprinkles.I did enjoy the drink but personally I would of liked it to have been a little bit hotter ! Customers cups were soon cleared & table tops cleaned once they left so the place is nice, clean & tidy .Should you require a nice & quiet cuppa in a relaxing atmosphere then this is the place to try ,I shall definitely be back again & maybe try a cake next time !

All I can say is best ever The homemade cake I had espresso cake took me to another planet exquisite The coffee was another level incredible. The service was impeccable a warm welcome and the gentleman I called before hand to ask direction was extremely helpful all I would like to say is thank you for having us what an experience the decor and ambiance was beautiful.

Worksop is not a dying town, it's a dead town. All the surprising that it has not one but two specialty coffee shops. Piccolo is a roastery and coffee shop. A rare sight, a lever operated espresso machine. The age of the building can be seen from the cast iron columns supporting the wooden beams. Excellent coffee, knowledgeable and passionate owner.
Keith P — Google review
The late was ok, so was the fruit loaf. However, the dirty chai late was overly sweet and I'm not sure if it had the espresso shot in it that got paid for. Peculiar Saturday morning clientele of elderly local people who all know eachother for an espresso hipster bar vibe. 😅
S L — Google review
My partner and I visited Piccolo’s whilst having a wander around town. The service was prompt and the girl behind the counter was pleasant, friendly and made us feel welcome. I ordered a cappuccino and my partner ordered a chai latte, the cappuccino was arguably the best I’ve ever had and my partner really enjoyed her chai latte. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and we enjoyed our time and drinks sat very comfortably. We can’t comment on the food as we didn’t order anything, but we would absolutely recommend that you visit Piccolo’s.

As a kiwi, I love my coffee, I've been to many great cafes, but making an exceptional coffee every time is rare like pigs flying. This is something I've come to accept, even the best of cafes will inevitably serve a bad coffee, then another bad one, then maybe you'll get a good one. To say I am in awe of these guys is an understatement. The coffee comes out perfect.every.single.time!! It's wild that of all the places I've travelled, I've found 💎 of coffee making right here in worksop. So if you love coffee, like really truly love great coffee, this is it..literally the only place you need to go. I would drive out of my way to come here for a coffee, hands down 100% of the time. They have lots of regulars, they make their own cakes and sour dough bread, so having a sweet treat on top of the perfect coffee..#Heavenly 👌

Amazing coffee and such attention to detail, the barista is a legend and really knows what he’s doing. Don’t recall ever seeing a barista take such care when making a black americano ☕️ highly recommended

Located on Bridge Street, this exceptional cafe boasts an impressive rating of 4.9/5 stars on Google. Renowned as a hidden treasure amidst numerous mediocre establishments, MeltAway has garnered an excellent reputation within the community. Positioned in the heart of the town center, it is a must-visit destination for anyone wandering along Bridge Street. Regular customers consider it their second home, with one even humorously claiming to have honorary shares in the establishment.
Been here twice now - the food is beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. My favourite so far has been the cheese and mushroom toastie. YUM! The decor is very pretty , cosy and they have some out door seating too. Service was friendly. A must if you are in Worksop! They also have a disabled stair lift inside to access the till.

Lovely cafe in the town centre, a must visit if ever wandering Bridge Street. My mother is a regular - practically has honorary shares! Been a few times myself and never had a bad meal. Usually go for the Zapiekanka and never disappoints. Dessert - you cannot go to a Polish led eatery and be disappointed with dessert - good waffles with no skimping on the trimmings. Well decorated and laid out and well maintained for a nice relaxed vibe. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.

Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful cafe. Delicious freshly cooked food. Great value for money. Friendly welcoming staff. Halloumi Salad is my firm favourite.

Absolutely love this place. Food always taste the same each visit. Staff are lovely & never feel rushed fir your table back. Favourite of mine is the whisky chicken salad👌🤤🤍
Ella T — Google review
Excellent food and decent portions. Even the toasties were just toasted really nice so you got good flavours and the right amount of crispness. The polish sausage was good, not as much flavour as an English sausage but nice with the mustard and chips. They’re coleslaw was nice and sweet. They did seem a bit rushed off their feet so went to the till to order for the table, not sure if they offer table service.

Five star cafe in the heart of Worksop - really creatively put together with an interesting and delicious selection of food, and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy it in. Loved the gazebo area at the front with its outdoors-inside feel, hanging streetlamps, greenery and solid wood tables. The venue is split across two levels, and as a wheelchair user I was pleased to see a well positioned lift for easy access between the two. The bathroom is also fully accessible which is rare in smaller venues like this. The hot chocolate was delicious! The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. There is free WiFi too. All in all well worth a visit, I'll be back.
Spoon P — Google review
This was the 3rd visit to this Italian coffee bar and also my last. The 1st visit to the newly opened cafe was delightful. The 2nd, about 6-9 month later not so good. I ordered a scone, it came warm with jam and cream. Not an ideal combination as the cream melted and dripped down my clothing. The 3rd visit, today, was terrible. My husband's toasted teacakes was shown the toaster and was dry. The accompanying butter was hard. My scone, no jam and cream this time, was hot and very dry and hard. I was informed they warm them in the microwave for 30 seconds as 'they are kept in the fridge and would be cold and hard'. I was expecting a freshly baked scone!! Last visit, no more. If you order a toasted teacakes and scone - beware. On a positive note, the price was reasonable, unlike the food

We found a gem today on our 1st visit to Worksop. We sat outside in semi shade to eat our toasties which were full of ham, cheese and mushrooms. Pot of tea for one.....perfect. I did compliment the assistant as we left.

I went here with my family for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. The food was delicious, there are vegan options available, and the service was very good. We all enjoyed it and would go there again.

Fabulous place, always inviting, and so accommodating for food requirements! We had a coeliac and a vegan in our group and both are confident eating here knowing there is no cross contamination and lots of gluten free or meat free options for them. Extra bonus - the cakes! I can't visit Carlton House without popping in for cake-away

Lovely café set in a vintage and craft centre. Lots of home-made vegan and gluten free options every day. Oat and soy milk available at no extra cost.

A real hidden gem. We walked a mile from the hospital to get here and so glad we did. The menu is wide-ranging, brilliant for vegans and vegetarians. We had a vegan bacon sandwich and the bacon was cooked to perfection - a bit crispy. The jam and scone with cream was just delicious. They do various teas and cream teas, including a savoury vegan option and a Harry Potter afternoon tea (book in advance). It's perfect.

Cafe
Harley Café is a delightful haven for those looking to unwind and enjoy a meal after exploring the nearby farm shop. This charming café offers high-quality food with generous portions that are beautifully presented. While some may find the prices slightly elevated, many agree they reflect the value of what’s served. Even if you’re not typically a coffee enthusiast, their lattes might just change your mind! Be sure to check out their specials menu for unique dishes that stand out from typical offerings.
A cosy spot to relax and eat after browsing the farm shop. The food is top quality – generous portions and well presented. While some might feel the prices are on the higher side, I think they’re fair for what you get. I’m not usually a big coffee drinker, but I was genuinely impressed with the latte I had here. They also have a specials menu on the wall, which I nearly missed – definitely worth checking out, as it had some unique dishes you’re unlikely to find elsewhere.

I really wanted to like this Café, but sadly too many little things were not good. Had an English Breakfast which at £12 was ok pricewise and the descriptions of the items set big expectations (local meat, homemade black pudding, freshly made bread etc). The sausages lacked any flavour and needed more seasoning, the bacon was overcooked, the toast, whilst lovely and fresh bread, was too thickly sliced for breakfast toast, even the fresh local eggs which were a lovely orange colour seemed to lack flavour. I appreciate that my comments are subjective but both my wife and I thought the same so it wasn't just me. Shame really as staff lovely, and in a great setting. Maybe next time I'll give the breakfast a miss and try something else, but sadly I really wouldn't recommend the Full English. Sorry.

Well beck, this breakfast went down quite well beck. In Wellbeck. The harley cafe is a modest, honest cafe that provides attentive service provided by a lovely team of staff. An enjoyable breakfast with an interesting twist prior the beans. Husband just had toast which he enjoyed. A nice place, with a top of the line farm shop. Recommended.
Micheal B — Google review
Gluten free options: they gave GF bread - you just have to ask for it. Staff not the most attentive on our visit. I had the Bang Bang Cauliflower (not pictured) - they were so nice! And the Sauteed mushrooms on GF bread. And split the lemon and almond cake with my friend. Gluten free cakes kept in same cabinet as gluten containing with no barrier or real separation - eat with caution.

Very cute cafe with nice food. We stopped here on the way from York to the Cotswolds and it’s a really great stopping point. Not far from the highway with many things to do near the cafe.

Best local cafe in the area! Food was absolutely unreal and staff were lovely, definitely going to visit again ! Lots of options for gluten free and vegetarians

Delicious 👌 Succulent, flavoursome brisket sandwich and wedges made from potatoes grown in the walled gardens of the estate…pure joy. Both the waitress and James the chef were really welcoming and a pleasure to meet. If this was on my doorstep I would be there on a regular basis. Thank you 🙏 ☺️

Unfortunately it’s the second time in 6 months we’ve been and been disappointed, queuing because lack of tables inside ( not many want to sit on high bar stools ), it’s got a feel of McDonalds , all quick & out, not relaxing.. food - avocado & pouched eggs ( egg) on toast, nice but one small egg, which was totally hard, pouched eggs are soft !! Explain to staff about eggs, reply was’ next time ask for running eggs’ never ever had to do that before, unless it was boiled eggs. 🤔

Arrow Farm Shop is a delightful destination that combines the charm of a farm shop with the comfort of a spacious café. After passing by numerous times, I finally ventured inside and was immediately impressed by the variety of fresh produce, including fruits, vegetables, chutneys, jams, and even frozen goods. The butchery section caught my eye as well; I couldn't resist picking up some tempting sausage rolls that looked as delicious as they sounded.
first time back since two years ago. the big improvement was the services. congratulation to the management. food were generally good but the beef stronganoff was a bit under size.. will be again. we went for afternoon high tea on 3pm, ordered arrow farm afternoon tea for two and farmhouse afternoon tea for one. the difference between these two is pork pie in farmhouse and cakes in arrow farm. the price is reasonable £10 per head. with that price you will not be disappointed.
WaiTak C — Google review
Was very popular, farm shop looked lovely but didn't buy anything due to price. The cafe didn't give me the best experience. I had the arrowhead vegetarian breakfast and the food was okay but I didn't receive my drink before my food and had to ask the server to go get my latte. This also meant I waited the whole time without my drink prior to the meal which would have amplified my satisfaction. The food was hot and parts of it were nice, but the poached egg was extremely small and tasted strongly of vinegar. The beans didn't taste high quality, very watery. The mushrooms and the potatoes were the nicest part and the sausages surprised me and tasted fairly decent. Didn't feel the staff were that welcoming, seemed more of an inconvenience that I hadn't received my coffee. I don't think I'd go back here in a rush. Seems other people have had better experiences. I did however like the look of farm shop and crafty items and the big farmhouse style windows at the back that could be opened with an insect screen to let air flow in.

First time of visiting been past it many times so finally got round to going in. Butchers looked good bought a couple of sausage rolls which i hope taste as good as they look 😋. Sells fresh fruit and veg, chutneys, jams ,eggs , frozen goods etc. Has a large spacious cafe , staff were friendly and helpful (i asked if i could have a ham salad sarnie as most of them had cheese and i don't like cheese and they did it for me) Wasn't too busy got straight in ,not a dirty table insight all cleared and wiped.
Susan G — Google review
We popped in after doing a wedding set up to grab some breakfast on the way home. The venue is lovely with a great well stocked farmshop attached, which we were really impressed with. Unfortunately the cafe were having issues with their gas so could only offer drinks or toast with scrambled eggs . We did order and service was good. The food was ok.
Lisa A — Google review
Lovely cafe and shop with plenty of options. The food was nice and served fairly quickly, although a little pricey. The portion sizes are good, though. It's a nice place for a treat now and again.
Victoria — Google review
Very disappointed. Meals overpriced. Presentation was ok I had chicken Shawarma, chicken was brown and not a lot of it. Plenty of salad which was really gritty. My wife had jacket potato with cheese and beans which was bland and the potato had a strange taste. No one asked how our meals were, the girl at the till said we should have been asked, when my wife explained we wasn't satisfied there were no reductions or explanations. Won't be going back, which is a shame because it used to be a nice go to place. Whilst I was standing outside others were coming out talking about the poor food.
Jon B — Google review
Called in today for the first time with my wife for lunch, first impressions were good, entrance to the cafe is through the farm shop. We had a short wait while we waited to be seated by a uniformed member of staff who showed us to a table. The cafe has a rustic feel with a stylish suspended ceiling with lighting. The menu was extensive and covered the majority of meals for all tastes. The food was excellent and well presented. Toilets are modern and clean, also included are wheelchair and baby changing facilities, high chairs are available. The cafe and shop are wheelchair friendly. The shop stocks a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, cakes etc. Small gifts are also on offer. Free car parking.
Duncan R — Google review
SHOP: Not really gone in much very expensive CAFE: Lovely food and place - but the service has gone downhill the past 2-3 months - staff used to have a small chat with you and were always very smiley, but now there's none of that and the staff appear miserable apart from 1 or 2 of the young women - namely Sydney is always very happy to help and Sue used to be very chatty - but it seems she may have been told not to stand chatting (not that she did it for hours). Always enjoyed the gammon but unfortunately they've stopped doing it. But overall I would recommend - but I would suggest booking as it gets very busy especially in school holidays. Very decent prices and portions are not overfacing.

Nestled just outside Clumber Park, The Old School Tearooms is a charming spot that has been on my must-visit list for quite some time. Finally making the trip, I was greeted by an incredibly friendly team of staff who made me feel right at home. This delightful tearoom even welcomes furry friends with a designated indoor area and treats like dog biscuits! I indulged in their sandwich platters accompanied by crispy chips, all beautifully presented and utterly delicious.
Gluten free egg mayo sandwich platter - very fresh and tasty 😋 Small menu done well with a small range of GF cake I think todays GF option was cherry 🍒

We had a drive out from Doncaster, never been before just searched on Google Maps and went. Upon entering the tearooms we was greeted by an overwhelming 7 staff who were all friendly & accommodating. We ordered something to eat and sat outside, yes the benches have seen better days but so what, at least we could sit down. Bit of noise from the road but never spoilt over experience, we will come back another day, Well done Ladies 👍👍👍

We've had this place on our list to try and visit for a while now and today we finally had the chance. It's a gorgeous little tearoom set in a lovely spot just outside Clumber Park. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. There is a designated area indoors to sit if you have your dogs with you, the staff made a big fuss of our two pooches and treated them with dog biscuits. We both ordered sandwich platters with a side of chips, it was all just delicious and very well presented. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again 😊

Lovely ladies providing service with a smile at this dog friendly cafe. The food was spot on. Just what we were looking for after a stroll around Clumber Park.

We chose this tearoom as it was central for 6 plus baby to meet at, we came from Doncaster, Lincoln and Nottingham for a little family get together Everything was lovely.... the food, coffee, staff... Our 2month old grandson was a bit vocal whilst waiting for a feed but instead of feeling uncomfortable we received lots of oohs and ahhhs We would definitely recommend a visit, we all agreed saying we must come again 10/10
Anne T — Google review
Was really looking forward to afternoon tea at this place I'd heard good things about it. On this occasion I was sadly disappointed. Afternoon tea to me is a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, we were asked to choose 1 filling for one big sandwich. Although very tasty it was thick sliced bread and just too much. We were also only offered one cake choice, it would have been nicer to have smaller pieces of different cakes, and unfortunately my funfetti cake had been heavily laced with sugar syrup rendering it too sweet to eat. The homemade coleslaw that came with the sandwiches was delicious though , I just think it didn't measure up for me and my friend .
Julie P — Google review
Can't review the food as left without but sure it is good. When googled if dog friendly stated yes so went ahead and booked sells dog ice cream and had dog biscuits on counter however the only dog friendly space is a worn out sofa and chair outside toilet and not in main room but in entry corridor which doubled up as storage. Could sit outside but tables and benches old and warped and not fit for disabled customers. One member of staff did provide an additional chair for disabled customer. In the end left as unable to provide dietary requirements and felt awful sat in corridor recieved full refund.
Paula S — Google review
We like it here but on our last visit unfortunately the scones were dry but usually really lovely. Coffee is good and you get a whole cafetiere to yourself which is great. However be aware that you can't just drop in and hope to choose your own table as most tables are reserved which I really dont like. The Tea room is on a a busy route so people may just want to stop off and have a coffee and lunch without the need to book a table. Its pretty dissapointing when you stop off needing a drink only to find that just about all the tables are empty but reserved, the table next to us was empty and reserved for the whole of the time we were there which was about an hour. I feel the owners should review this situation.

Darfoulds Garden Centre is a delightful destination for plant enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The staff here are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that your visit is enjoyable from start to finish. The café offers a warm atmosphere where you can indulge in delicious meals that are beautifully prepared and presented, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring the extensive plant selection.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The cafe is very welcoming. The food I ordered was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. Dogs are not just allowed but welcome, there is a little water and biscuit dispenser for their consumption. The plant area is much larger than I expected with good varieties on offer. There is a good car park with plenty of spaces but I imagine with this quality of goods it probably becomes busy at times.
Sandy O — Google review
I’ve been here a few times now and the food is always excellent — you can tell a lot of care goes into the dishes, and the atmosphere is usually lovely. Most of the staff are friendly and hardworking, and it’s clear some of them really go above and beyond under pressure. However. One small shame is that the professionalism isn’t consistent across the whole team — today I did notice what I assume was the manager on shift, speaking harshly to a couple of her colleagues who had been pulling their weight in what looked like a short staffed team. I understand hospitality can be stressful at times, but that doesn't mean you can talk to members off staff like that, not in private, and definitely not in view of customers. It truly was disappointing to see that the management could let this slide, especially as they take such good care of their customers, I do hope for the staffs sake it was a one off. I will still be returning for food and coffee, because as I stated earlier, the food and atmosphere is truly worth it.

Really interesting place. Sadly couldn't get what we wanted, water feature and outside fairy lights. But we did have a good meal. Only problem there was a lot of waiting. Very busy and not enough staff. Food was really enjoyable as I said though.

Absolutely shambolic service!! £12.50 for a pork sandwich I had to dress my self!! Which the waitress was happy for me to do!! Shocking The pork sandwich came out on granary everyone else who ordered the same sandwich came out on white strange, we asked if they had ran out of white, the waitress said yes and brought out 2 slices of white bread and expected me to build the sandwich myself, 5 mins later another customer orders the pork sandwich and it comes out on a white cob( bread cake) So not only have I had my pants pulled down, with a £12.50 pork sandwich, I've also been lied to because they couldn't be bothered to solve this little issue. A family of 4 go out for lunchtime it will cost around £90 for this type of poor service Don't give them your money they don't deserve it, they want you to spend locally, yes I accept it's more expensive, however this should come with a decent level of service, to which it didn't!! I will not be giving this local bussines my money again! I asked to speak to the manager who declined, again very poor hence the review!! Shockingly poor doesn't deserve 1 star.

Lovely small but busy garden centre with a great cafe serving breakfast and lunch with coffee and a huge choice of scones and cake!!

An easily accessible garden centre selling a whole range of products. I ate there - the cheese omelette and salad was delicious, albeit a little pricey.

Visited Clumber Park Cafe for lunch during a trip to Clumber Park. Was unsure if there would be suitable options for someone on a diet, but unfortunately the whipped feta and pea bruscetta was not available. However, the bean chilli with only 399 calories was tasty and satisfying. Another option chosen was a baked potato with cheese, which was enjoyed. The cafe itself had a nice variety of food and drink available in canteen style.
Nicely located near Sheffield. A very big place to go lakes, walking trails, Activities for kids, cricket match absolutely paradise. I will definitely recommend this place, specially in hot weather. DO NOT FORGET YOUR COLD WATER BOTTLE 😀
Vishal S — Google review
Ordered 2 sandwiches and a kids meal, they forgot about 1 of the sandwiches. Went in to chase it 2 times untill waiting for it to be made the 3rd time. Then the sandwich was stale so I asked for a refund. £9.50 for a stale sandwich with a spoon of coleslaw... Anyone thinking of a day out just bring a packed lunch. 3.5 for an orange juice aswell!! Rip off Rubbish would be 1 star but you can't do that.

So far is the best coffee shop in visited, plenty of choices , go for a sweet treat or some hot food, vegan and vegetarian options available and dog friendly.
Lorenzo B — Google review
Nice coffee, scones and flapjacks etc but could do with more food variety. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Nice atmosphere. I think access to public WiFi would be a good addition especially as the mobile coverage is so poor in Clumber. I look forward to seeing the café redesign when it's completed.
Julia F — Google review
Hog roast wrap was not in a wrap ,in dry sliced bread. Stuffing rock hard. Tiny portion of pork which was also hard and tiny portion of apple sauce. Staff not directing people to coffee and cake counter regularly enough to ease the large queue. Customers clearing own tables outside. Not enough seating externally . Children's play area had several pieces of equipment out of use. For £15 spent on gate and nearly £8 for the "wrap" I was looking forward to eating something of quality and substantial fir the price. Very, very poor National trust. I used to love the reliability of Clumber Park. What happened???

Disappointed that the walled garden cafe is no longer. Otherwise had a lovely day sketching with friends in the glass houses before coffee on the main centre.

With over 20 miles of cycle paths, it's a great way of seeing and enjoying this National Trust Property. If you don't need to make use of the NT Car Parks it doesn't cost anything either (Free parking if you are a NT member).

Miss Poppy's Coffee Shop was recommended by friends for breakfast, and to our delight, we were impressed with the interior and received a warm welcome. My wife and I opted for the six-item breakfast along with tea and toast, which exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food was exceptional, leaving no crumbs behind. We will definitely visit again as the entire team deserves full marks for their outstanding service. On another occasion, we had a delightful afternoon tea for a friend's birthday.
Went to look for a new sofa at Eyers and called in at Poppys for a coffee on the way out. Caught a glimpse of someone else's breakfast and just had to have the same. Have to say it was maybe possibly the best full English I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and fabulous quality. Service was very good and I would definitely recommend to all you full English fans.
Robert F — Google review
So went into to Poppies and thought I would try the American style pancakes described as ‘light and fluffy’ unfortunately they were flat and Doughie and inedible. I mentioned this when we settled the bill, they said thank you for the feedback but still charged £10 for the worst pancakes I’ve had ever. Should have gone for the English breakfast which looked great. That’s why I’m giving it more than one star disappointed of how the service/management team dealt with this. To confirm avoid pancakes

5*’s all round!! Great customer service as usual… called our order in this morning due to a tight lunch schedule and it was provided to us as soon as we sat down! Delicious food, friendly staff… best cafe in Worksop! Thank you!! ♥️
Katie — Google review
Lovely coffee shop but like most places the prices have gone up considerably but the portions have also gone down and the quality as there wasn't much meat in the pie and what was in it was fatty and full of sinew and gristle. The food was nice and hot and the ladies are polite and efficient but that's not what tempts us in. The lemon meringue is usually amazing but the lemon middle was incredibly firm and didn't have it's usually tangy taste. It's also quite cool in the winter because it isn't double glazed just single glass panes so if you feel the cold take a jumper. Real shame because this place was the last of the best in town. Also card machine is temperamental so best to take cash.
Sarah L — Google review
Went in for breakfast and placed our order quite quickly. Drinks came out and my coffee arrived in a glass with no handles. I’m not sure why this is trendy as it’s dangerous when there are no handles as the drink is hot! I asked for it to be put in a cup or mug which the waitress did happily, but please, serve in a cup or mug! My partner ordered the English Breakfast with Black Pudding and I had the American-style panics with compot and maple syrup minus the bacon. English breakfast arrived with no Black Pudding so raised this with the waitress and she asked if we were sure it wasn’t there. We rechecked in front of her, no Black Pudding so she apologized and said it’ll be a minute and she’ll bring it. The American-style pancakes are absolutely not American-style pancakes!! They are totally flat, gloopy and more like a failed English pancake. The fruit in the compost was very sour. Not worth the money at all. We finished our food and the black pudding never arrived by the time we left. This won’t put me off going there as it’s generally very good, but certainly won’t have the pancakes again and will order coffee in a mug in future!

Been here for afternoon tea and it was beautiful and worth the money . I've had a gastric sleeve and can't eat much so they let me order a child's afternoon tea I still couldn't manage it all so I took the rest home. The staff are lovely and polite. Every time a meal was brought out it smelt beautiful infact it smelt that good we ordered some to takeaway 😋. Would definitely recommend

Great coffee. Poor service. Six customers stood waiting for coffees to be made. One girl working her butt off trying to make coffees and hand food out whilst another girl just stood behind the till doing nothing, a man disappeared on his break and two other girls outside having a cigarette. Need I say more 🙄

It was an ok place (went on a date) however it was getting busy and the place got very noisy! It also has got an echo effect. I enjoyed the Americano though!

Always find the quality of drinks at this branch lacking. The exact same order in Sheffield is so much better. Price is also becoming wildly expensive. Which just makes the experience even more frustrating. When you can get a coffee £2 cheaper half a mile away that's always consistent, it doesn't make much sense to come back
Matt C — Google review
Fithy. This place would be considered as horrbile in normal circumstances, but looking what is happening there during covid is unacceptable. They don't clean yet, everything should be strelised after each customer. Many people goes in, goes out, so the barista has a lot of work, however it doesn't mean that he has to do horrible job. In rush, he was pouring milk to my latte too fast causing it foam. When the foam quickly dropped i just had 3/4 of my cup. So basicly I paid for medium, and got small. Do not recommend this place at all.
Mela N — Google review
I wanted a small glass of milk for my kid. They were charged £2.10. Normally Costa gives it sometimes for free or sometimes for £0.65. Even with the sun, it's very dark inside. Badly designed.

Came here for a magic bag. Basically its items they probably throw away but they kindly give it away for a cheaper price. So the magic bag i paid for was £5 but you get £15 worth of stuff. Cakes sandwiches etc. This magic bag definitely didnt have £15 worth of food in it. Shocking.

First time here and the food didn't disappoint. The service was top notch and really friendly. Felt welcomed as soon as we entered. Sorry to say, I went in to grab a cup of tea, while waiting to be picked up, while going to look at my new RS500, there were 5 others in so not busy, it took 33 minutes from ordering and getting served for scrambled egg & 1 toast, i recived a pot of tea shortly after ordering but had gone cold by the tine the scrambled egg arrived, if I was on my tea break from work it would have been a problem for me..the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cafe is quite nice, the table was very sticky where it wasn't cleaned properly.. - 1 🌟 for the wait. -1 🌟 for the sticky table. Both of these issiues could be easily rectified.

During my first visit to Bowrings Coffee Shop this morning, I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was on par with Costa in my opinion and the cakes were delightful. While some items on the menu may be a bit expensive, it's understandable considering Worksop's reputation for high prices. Overall, I would recommend paying a visit to this coffee shop. The food is exceptional in terms of quality, even during busy times when the staff manages everything quite well.
Really enjoyed our visit. Helpful staff and courteous too. They smile and the cafe has a nice atmosphere. My daughter had cheese toastie and it was excellent value for money (see picture) I had hot pork sandwich which had plenty of filling.

Nice little stop off at the services. My usual is a skinny decaf sugar free vanilla latte which didn't have its usual strength of flavour but that's just Costa as compared to other cafes. Did have a lovely lemon muffin however! Did the job to stretch our legs at the halfway mark in a long journey!

Dreadful experience. For a 24 hour service to be greeted by an employee, Karina, laying on a sofa with her feet up and on her phone took me by surprise. To then be grunted at that she was on her break led me to abandon any notion of getting service here.

Tonight my dumbass wife somehow managed to leave her phone in the toilets at the services. Good and great price £22 for a great Neo burger , omelette and chips with two drinks so I was impressed with the price and the food tasted good. Toilets need a bit of TLC as a general cleanup, but other than that good food good service
James R — Google review
As a previous fan of Neo it really seems to have gone downhill. At 9am the doormat was filthy as was the floor signalling a lack of cleaning the night before. There were crumbs all over the seats, the booths are in disrepair. The food is adequate but very expensive given the relatively poor quality of it. When theres only 2 customers in, cleanliness and service should be top draw but the tea had white floats of off milk and had to be returned. If you can't take pride in your own business how can you expect customers to want to enjoy it? Will be off to morrisons next time

Costa Coffee is a delightful counter-service coffee chain that serves up an array of hot beverages, refreshing iced coolers, sweet treats, and satisfying sandwiches. Nestled in a prime corner location opposite the car park within the Priory Shopping precinct, this cozy spot features both indoor and outdoor seating options. With four tables on the pavement and around 15 inside on the ground floor, there's plenty of room to relax with your favorite drink.

Sharon H — Google review
Located in a corner position opposite the carpark in the Priory Shopping precinct. This Costa store provides 4 outside tables on the pavement with around 15 tables inside on the ground floor.Theres another 12 tables upstairs which are accessible by a very steep staircase, the room itself is a very quiet area & doesn't have any kind outlook due to having no windows. I found the staff service to be very pleasant on each occasion during my recent visits .I would recommend if your having toast, is to ask them to flip the toast, when you order as you'll find the bread gets toasted only on one side ! Also I have noticed that they don't tend to use the pattern stencil for chocolate sprinkles on cappuccino coffees it's just a willy-nilly inconsistent scatter dusting by hand ,when just a bit of care & attention in the presentation wouldn't go a miss. The ground floor seating area can get quite noisy at times ,god knows why folk need to talk so loud so if its a quiet cuppa your after then that could be hit & miss here unless you sit outside or pop upstairs. The tables were also cleared & cleaned by the.staff as & when required. Your order receipt does give you a code so your able to access the toilets which is good idea to keep the local riff raf at bay from using them. We visit Costa quite regularly . The coffee is always very good and the staff friendly and polite . However on every occasion thete are several tables that need wiping down. On our most recent visit , one member of staff was on his phone behind the counter . It wasn't busy and his time could have been put to far better use clearing some tables.

The coffees at Costa have become do weak you think you drinking hot water with milk. They also come only luke warm instead of extra hot. I use to love Costa, what happened?

An older chap, perhaps 50s ish was working in the cafe today (31.8.25 @11.07am). He had a lovely manner with the customers and really made me smile.

Freezing cold sat in here aircon blows cold air all round shop. Breakfast we had the small one, dripping in grease yuk and sausage was a disgraceful looked round and noticed everyone's was same, only popped in here after a long flight and was starving, won't be going in again, prefer tessco cafe clean breakfast no grease.

Opted for Christmas Dinner. Appalling no cranberry as they are not allowed to use any other than morrisons own which the shop had run out of.Vegetables were inedible hard and crispy. Turkey was tasteless slices which resembled plastic. Definitely would not recommend

Never had such an awful meal. I got a nice fresh breadcake with only a tiny bit of beef brisket in served with some cold glutinous stuff in a pot. Gravy?? Who knows? If so why gravy with a breadcake. Then the chips... ugh. More like cold cardboard.Ditto with my partners chips. His omelette was just awful. A flat piece of rubber best describes it. No wonder the cafe was almost empty. I for one will not go ever again.

Dropped in for a dine-in and ordered the English Breakfast and Chicken Tikka Masala. The breakfast really hit the spot — crispy bacon, buttery toast, and eggs done just right. Total comfort food. The tikka masala was okay, but felt a bit flat compared to the rest — not bad, just not very memorable. Staff was friendly and the vibe was relaxed. I’d definitely come back, especially for the breakfast.
Preethu J — Google review
Having got the ultimate breakfast, was laughable, was more like a kids portion. Plus we order kids meals and it stated kids eat free with a adult meal yet we paid full price for all 3 kids instead of just one and was given a poor excuse by the girl on the till. I love our morrisons cafe, but this one was extremely poor.
Paul S — Google review
Just been in for breakfast, what a joke. Has we sat down I could hear people complaining about their wait and some were wanting to leave. A couple across from us had waited 25mins, they had a refund and food for free. Lady at the back of us only wanted toast she’d waited 20mins… but I thought I’ll wait as we usually have a lovely breakfast, 35 mins later I approached the till to be ignored so I asked how much longer for my food please, that I could see was sat on the hot plate, just waiting for toast the young lad said, ok I sat back down. 5 mins later I approached again and said how much longer … the rudest young lad said just waiting on sausages that I could clearly see were on the plates, so told him I was told it was toast I was waiting for, to which he chucked the toast on … not happy, ask someone that I thought would be a manger for my refund please… this service is not good enough.. if the young kids serving can’t cope they shouldn’t be in the kitchen … On top of this the place smells disgusting as the drinks machine is faulty and has been awhile, the tables were full of dirty pots.. come on guy sort this out
Janet B — Google review
Very small portions, bacon was tiny and very hard and dry, the beans were dry and the grilled tomato hadn't seen a grill I suspect, on the plus side the sausages were very nice and the toast was fine. This is the first time we've been to this morrisons Cafe and it's definitely the worst one we've been to and would not return.

Worksop is not a dying town, it's a dead town. All the surprising that it has not one but two specialty coffee shops. Mt. Coffee, a Hong Kong coffee shop, and that was my reason for seeking it out. Located just off the main pedestrianised street. Easy to find, opposite the Post Office Sorting Office. The front coffee, the rear a kitchen. The coffee Pace, not aroastery I've encountered before. I ordered an espresso, which came with a card describing the coffee. I was also brought a filter coffee. I noticed a pot of matcha powder sitting atop of the espresso machine. I would have liked to learn more, maybe try, but car in a car park, ticket about to expire. The food Asian fusion. Time permitting, I would trying, but car park ticket about to expire. I will definitely be returning.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, Tesco Cafe is definitely worth a visit. With each trip, I've been consistently impressed by the friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great meal. On my latest visit, I asked Sophie for her lunch recommendation and she suggested the chicken Caesar flatbread with chips—what a treat! It was not only delicious but also quite filling for the price. Despite it being busy during lunchtime, I noticed how efficiently the team handled orders.
I have visited the Cafe numerous times, and I must say that every time I have been I haven’t been disappointed. The staff are absolutely brilliant, so kind and helpful. I asked for a lunch recommendation and Sophie recommended the chicken Caesar flat bread with chips and it was delicious!! So filling and great for the price! Karen made me a really nice hot chocolate with lots of cream on top, which was to die for! It’s always busy in the cafe, but the staff always have time for you, they always help the elderly customers by bringing the trays over to them & sometimes having a little chat to those that come in on their own. It’s so lovely to see such helpful and pleasant staff members. The cafe is always clean when we go, there’s usually a cleaner that comes and sweeps up, she is really friendly too. I always recommend the cafe to my friends and colleagues, and I will be returning again for another flatbread! Well done Tesco cafe!

Very nice food, however hygiene could be better with hair nets or caps especially with the tall lad that works on till and waits, he has a good head of hair but not kept tidy !!
Colin E — Google review
After waiting 18 minutes in a queue of 5 people my order was finally taken. The lady taking the orders is also preparing the tray and at times delivering food to table. There surely has to be a better system than that?! The food is generally ok, but does tend to sit on the pass for several minutes before being delivered to the customer, often resulting in lukewarm food. It’s not the fault of the staff, it’s the fault of the management not ensuring adequate staffing levels for a cafe that is usually very busy. Do something about it before customers vote with their feet!
Michelle G — Google review
Friendly staff, very average food. The mozzarella and cheese toastie felt like it had been microwaved rather than freshly toasted and the extra £1.50 paid for the side salad felt like a ripoff in retrospect. I'll go for a meal deal next time.

Lovely cafe, great staff, good selection on the menu, BUT, they need do something about the chair legs scrapping on the tiled floor when people are moving the chairs the noise is excruciating especially for people who are noise sensitive. Doubt we'll be visiting again because of this.

Waiting for my car to be serviced so me and my son called into the Tesco café to kill some time. They have an awesome range of breakfast items served all day. I recommend the breakfast hash and the maple bacon loaded waffles!

I came in around lunch time today and I must say although it was very busy and a 30 minute wait on food it was out very quickly came with no issues was very delicious and the girl on the till on her own was making the drinks and getting the queue down very quickly She mentioned it was only her second week which I thought was really good as she was very calm, very polite and very welcoming and kept the queue down very fast. There was a girl keeping all the tables clean and tidy, you can see they have a brilliant team at this cafe and it is very lovely to see. Well done Worksop cafe.

How the staff get away with treating paying customers like they do I don't know. My personal experience. I arrived with my sister and celebrant to discuss the particulars of my mother's funeral. We arrived 10 mins before the opening time, we sat down and we're told they're not open yet and that we had to move! Might I add tjhis was said with bad attitude. Given the situation I didn't challenge the particular staff member that day. This happened in January 2023, I didn't bother complaining but since then it's become a regular occurrence. My family go there nearly every week and sometimes aren't able to sit together as the tables aren't allowed to be moved. Todays visit, My sister had left a bad review from a previous incident and as she stood in line it came to her being served the owner/manager called her out and said "are you the lady that left the bad review" to which she replied yes, she then asked to discuss the matter, when my sister said that her staff were rude the manager/owner then instantly defended her staff with no interest in her point of view, and so this was pointless We were asked why we keep coming back if we felt like that... I replied with "we like the place" and to be honest keep thinking it may change, but today was the last straw. There were 6 of us meeting there and 2 children but When my sister was confronted about her review we all decided to leave as the atmosphere was horrible. I won't be returning again! But be warned.
Sammy V — Google review
Awful experience. Came with my son and grand daughter today as she loves the little play area. I went to buy two drinks and was unable to buy them as we both have an intolerance to whole milk and they did not supply alternatives which is disappointing. As the did not have semi skimmed we did not purchase, my grand daughter had already started playing so we sat down as there was many empty tables. The staff stood staring at us and made us very uncomfortable (crossed armed and leaning on the counter staring at us). The woman walked over to us and told us that she was going to have to ask us to leave, this was so embarrassing and my grand daughter was upset she was removed. This was so uncomfortable and embarrassing, I have spent a lot of money in this cafe previously and will not be returning, will be passing this onto friends and family.
Ellie — Google review
Honestly I've had a few issues with rude staff, and today even the owners daughter told me if I have a problem coming there maybe I should just not come in future and that they have no complaints procedure nor anyone to bother complaints too. Instead of hearing what I've got to say, and at least attempting to solve a customers issue. First MAIN issue arrose when we had a large bunch of my family coming together most Tuesdays to come to terms with an aunt that was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She did not have long but managed to come join the first 2 weeks but was then sadly too weak. A member of staff was very rude as we where taking up a larger section of the cafe that they very obviously didnt like, when tring to join a couple tables. We where not to move the tables at all even after explaining that we where coming together as a family for support. So we moved chairs only and sat alot of us cramped in a right corner of the cafe. We brought them alot of service but too much of an inconvenience I guess for a member of staff. She was rude abrupt and didn't even try to accommodate in any way. The second MAIN issue, which I guess the same member of staff possibly remembered myself or possibly my aunties, again abrupt told us they not open yet and to sit elsewhere. It was a couple min before opening but again straight to rude no can you please just wait till we open in a few min just abrupt and no politeness at all. And the last main issue which is minor but honestly asking me for more money when the milk they gave me for a pot of tea was far too little. Was told prices are going up and if I drink milkier tea then I have to pay more for it. They don't seem to realise they are serving a variety of people with different preferences on how they like their tea, or how much sauce they like on their food, salt pepper etc. And I don't think it's fair to bring up costs of things when their prices already so clearly reflect the costs of inflation and then some really in my opinion. Very let down as I've actually been coming for years but in more recent times I find theirs less appreciation for their customers and just a loss of a caring attitude around.
Sarah J — Google review
Good selection of food. Things for children to pick too. Had a nice coffee to wash cake down. Would recommend stopping off.

Always brilliant service, cakes here are divine and such a brilliant selection of food. We love to bring our children here, they also love the play area! Can't recommend enough

Menu stated oven baked jacket potato , not what I got! Microwaved overdone potato. Afraid I wouldn’t have ordered if I’d known this beforehand. Child’s menu.... pudding, ALDI biscuits! Or ice cream. Sure you could come up with better choice than small bag of biscuits. Piece of fruit or small piece of cake perhaps. Would visit again but only for drinks.

GATEFORD GRILL is a delightful spot known for its consistently delicious food and exceptional delivery service. Diners rave about the quality of their meals, making it a go-to choice for many. While there may be minor hiccups—like eggs being cooked a tad more than desired—the overall experience remains enjoyable and satisfying. Whether you're dining in or ordering out, GATEFORD GRILL promises to deliver tasty dishes that keep patrons coming back for more!
Always good food here and their delivery service is second to none if I have a complaint it's only a tiny one I have always like my eggs with runny and unfortunately they tend to overcook them slightly but no big deal
Ian W — Google review
Me and my partner decided to try Gateford grill and see if this would be our new breakfast place. Don't get me wrong delivery time met what was said but this is the only thing I suppose you could say was positive. But the food to describe in one word would be "disgusting". I had a large sausage, bacon, and hash brown and the hash brown was soggy and only one was on there, the bacon tasted asif it was cooked on a dirty grill with oil that has been sat for days. My partner had a small bacon, hash brown cheese and BBQ sauce, which had the same problems with the bacon and hashbrown, but also had BBQ sauce which tasted like pure vinegar and cheese that was like chewing through a brick. To me it is either the owner doesn't want to cook good food and have a respected establishment or just doesn't care at all. If you don't care about quality of what you provide it shows and trust me I can see it with what was delivered to us. We will not be going here again and I am going to suggest to others not to either. This is a place that simply doesn't care and just wants to make a few quid serving horrid food.

DO NOT BUY YOUR FOOD FROM HERE!! Today was the 4th time I have been here in the last 6 months, every single time there has been an issue with some part of the order. Either, burnt, cold or just inadequate. Today my 2 breakfast wraps were cold, soggy and had paper stuck to them. I took them back and kindly asked for a refund. The owner, with the blonde hair, who is also the cook, is one of the most incredibly rude and unapologetic people I have encountered in my 50 years! She reluctantly refunded one of them, because the other had been cut in half, with the missing half in my colleague's bin! It was apparently my fault it had soggy scrambled eggs causing the problem, as I did not ask for a fried egg instead!!! I was given no alternative upon ordering. I asked why she adds scrambled eggs knowing it creates this problem? Again, no hint of an apology whatsoever, the customer service is non existent. My whole workplace will NEVER order from here again. I selected 1 star because you can't leave a review without selecting it. DISGUSTING experience.
Siobhan M — Google review
Cancelled using just eat 10 mins after placing an order and just get a call saying that it’s not happening because it’s out the door already, delivery time is 45 mins- 1 hour not 10 minutes! To then have to run around answering the door in a towel because I was in the shower! As you didn’t tell you poor delivery girl wasting her petrol! Not very environmentally friendly is that…..And to be spoken down to like I’m an idiot is disgusting AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Nick H — Google review
I generally only post a review if I feel others need warning of poor food or service, hence this review! I have been here 4 times in the last 6 months and it is consistently poor. I always feel very unwelcome, staff are rude and they always make me feel like a burden to them. I once asked for a change from mushrooms to black pudding (which i was expecting to pay for) and they just sighed and said they couldn't make any changes to the listed breakfast. I explained i would pay and they said sorry I can't do it! Twice I have had under cooked eggs. They open until 130pm, I arrived at 12.45pm and they said they would have to see if the chef is still cooking this late! 10 minutes later they came through and took my order! This is the worst Cafe for just about every aspect of dining and I go to a lot of Cafe's nationwide with being a trucker. I have no idea how this establishment keeps going. Terrible.
Simon J — Google review
*******CAUTION DO NOT USE******** The food took 1 hour & 20 mins to arrive and was cold and inedible. I contacted them to be told that they would refund me for chips but nothing else. They made out that they couldn't understand why it was cold as the delivery driver came straight to our address... and it is only a 7 mins drive away. AVOID GATEFORD GRILL AT ALL COSTS. WASTE OF MONEY, WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF EFFORT AND APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Sarah E — Google review
Ordered from here before and never had a problem with the food. I ordered today and asked for really well done bacon as when previously ordered well done bacon there was no difference and not well done. Today it came burnt to a crisp, if you pick up the bacon it just crumbles in your hand and just tastes cremated. I rang up the store to sort out this matter to just be spoken down to by a rude woman. We asked for a refund for the order (which consisted of two bacon sandwiches with extra bacon so nothing really but bacon) to be told there is nothing that can be done and that she had to go because other calls were coming through. So instead we asked for just a refund on the extra bacon we had paid for, just for her to say the same thing and put the phone down on me. Nothing but rude the whole way through the conversation, didn’t even seem as though she was bothered about the complaint at all. Yes we had asked for ‘really well done’ bacon but not cremated, there’s a difference between really well done and burnt to a crisp which this woman clearly does not understand.

Barker's Coffee Shop Ltd is a charming establishment that is frequented by friendly individuals who appreciate its delightful atmosphere and delicious cuisine. The food served at this cafe is both satisfying and nourishing, reminiscent of comforting home-cooked meals on a scenic road trip. It exudes a welcoming vibe akin to stumbling upon a hidden gem in the countryside. Many patrons find themselves returning often, drawn by the warm and inviting nature of the staff and the delectable menu options.
Lovely people, absolutely hilarious actually. Made my mum and I very welcome straight away. Straight forward food that’s wholesome and tasty. I have a feeling this will be my mum and I’d regular spot when she visits. This place reminds me of much needed home cooked food on a long road trip and finding a gem of a cafe on a long country road. I dunno, strange feeling of comfort in a pubic place.

Mid morning on a market day and I was the only customer. My “hot” chocolate was barely warm and no choice of cream or marshmallows. I was offered a replacement but declined. The toastie was ok, but coleslaw would be better served in a small pot, making for a much more appealing presentation. The staff were lovely but I only need to be asked once if everything is alright. This used to be a very popular place to meet and I wish the owners luck in their venture. Hopefully my comments are constructive.

Annie's Cafe Worksop is a delightful gem that promises an exceptional dining experience. With its clean and inviting atmosphere, this cafe serves up traditional English fare that never disappoints. Guests rave about the perfectly cooked fried eggs, which are delightfully runny and non-greasy, showcasing the skill of the kitchen staff. While some may prefer a spicier sausage option, the overall quality of food remains impressive and well-portioned.
23/4/'25- Food excellent. Cafe clean. Table & cutlery clean . Traditional English - Forgot to order my breakfast eggs poached ..but the fried eggs here are served non greasy but lovely & runny. Cooked on. Griddle ,I believe. Good portion of food. Freshly cooked. Only downside for me personally was the sausage being a cheaper variety - I personally prefer a peppery Lincolnshire or Cumberland style - certainly not a deal breaker at these prices though . Price included a brew . Tea or coffee ( or even a soft drink ,if I remember correctly) -£7.50. Friendly service. Nice open cooking area. Seemed clean & tidy. Recommended. Certainly worth a visit . Or a revisit ..

Just had the best egg and bacon cob ever, when I usually ask for runny egg from anywhere else they don't seem to manage just how i like it but Annie's cafe did it to perfection. The food came fast and was really hot still . Always polite on the phone and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly 😀

Only thing I can say that is wrong with the food and that's I can't put ten stars. Amazing home cooked food, quick reliable and affordable I will definitely be using these again!

Cafe
Since starting work in Worksop, over the last ten months, I've found that the café which is integrated within the bus station is amazing. The food the staff, and the atmosphere are top notch. I find no matter what you ask for, the staff are always willing and able to accommodate. The cakes which are mostly made on site are to die for, think I've tried nearly everyone and I've not been disappointed. The lemon drizzle is my favourite though. I would highly recommend this café if your ever in Worksop. Location 10 out of 10 Food 10 out of10 Atmosphere 10 out of 10 Staff 10 out of 10

Brilliant little coffee shop in the bus station. Missed my bus and had some time to kill, so decided to give this place a go. Was stood at the counter for a minute or two but could tell the popularity of the place from how busy the staff were - so no fault there and didn't mind waiting at all. Staff were really friendly! They even drop the food off at the table for you. Prices are on the high end, but for the quality and amount of goods you get, in my opinion are reasonable. Thank you for the great experience, definitely will be back! :)

Lovely little cafe that is set in the bus station. Clean, well looked after. Prices are quite reasonable. Ordered a muffin and latte that thought that I misordered but turns out they had a manic Monday special offer that I didn't see so I thought I paid less than I thought lol. The staff are very friendly and great place to go in while waiting for bus.

What a find. Integrated into bus station. Great variety of foods, inc vegan and veggie. Very friendly staff. Great prices.

Came last week to this place to breastfeed my baby as the bus station was full and the cafe felt like the most comfortable option to feed rather than sit in a crowd of people. After feeding my baby the woman asked me if I wanted any food but as I said no as i was leaving to catch my bus she jumped down my throat and said to ask for permission next time but never will I ever ask permission to feed my baby ...as I was leaving I told her I will remember for next time and just sit in a busy and dirty bus station to feed my baby but she was being rude and dismissive by talking over me with a sarcastic "thankyou " repeatedly. One of the customers to followed me out after this uncomforting experience and reminded me in wasn't in the wrong and certainly wasn't taking up space feeding my baby in a rather empty cafe . I've read previous reviews and it turns out this woman has a history of being rude and sarcastic to customers. And as i previously found out also breastfeeding unfriendly!

Fantastic food and coffee! Wonderful vegan options-the vegan chicken and cheese wrap is particularly tasty. The take away coffee cups are also sustainable/fully compostable, which is so good to see. I am looking forward to trying more of the menu!

Came with my sister for breakfast to take out - quick, friendly service, food is 10/10! I even came couple weeks ago and ordered a blueberry croissant which is currently best one I’ve had. I didn’t get the lady’s name but wish I did, she’s lovely!

My dad’s called in today and because of his disability from stroke he struggles to cut up his food. But after telling the young lady he couldn’t cut his food up, she asked him to sit down while takes care of cutting up his food and fetched it to his table. Staff are all very polite and the food and drink is perfect!!! Definitely will visit again in the further.

You know you've found a cracking cafe when every time you visit it your plate ends up like this! We discovered the cafe on a walk and found it very welcoming with a great range of food. It's just what you need in the heart of a village. So we return frequently to enjoy the food and pleasant atmosphere the team at the cafe have created.

Light, airy & welcoming cafe. Pretty busy during our brief stay. Good, varied selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Who'd have thought that avocado on toast would taste so good. Well presented food. 2 cappuccinos, avocado on toast, cheese, ham & mustard toasty. Sticky toffee bischcoff slice & a slice of blueberry lime cake £28. Enjoyed 3very last bite and crumb.

We came for a 90th Birthday party on Sunday for my Grandpa. What a wonderful experience, we had the cafe to ourselves, and it was immaculate. Tastefully decorated, beautifully presented food, wonderful atmosphere and the most attentive polite staff members. The afternoon tea was absolutely gorgeous, high quality ingredients and very well priced. Would recommend to anyone. You are what Woodsetts has needed for a long time! As someone who lives in the village, you are a credit and you have a new customer! Keep up the great work. Thank you 🌸🫶🏼 The Dernie’s xx

Eggs came out anaemic, bacon was basically raw and paying £3 something for 200ml of coke is scandalous. One of the ladies behind counter was lovely but the other two younger waiters need to learn some basic manners, maybe start with easy phrases like please and thankyou.

Absolutely fantastic little café. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the range of cakes, drinks and food is fabulous. An absolute gem of a find.

Came with family for tea/coffee and cakes. The welcome from the staff was wonderful and the cakes fabulous (I took some home too!) Vegan options available. We will be back without a doubt!

Cup and Co is a true gem! This family-run café is such a wonderful asset to the village. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that just feels like home. The food is absolutely delicious—every dish is crafted with such care, and the coffee? Simply to die for! I also love that it's dog-friendly; it's so nice to be able to bring my furry friend along and enjoy the experience together. The positive vibes here are contagious, and you can feel the pride they have in what they do. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or lucky enough to live nearby!

We held a wake here last month for our much loved step mum. I cant thank the team enough for the wonderful food and service. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. A special thanks to jennie who was so friendly and empathetic towards us, she made organising the event so simple and stress free. Jennie I can't thank you enough for everything you did for our family, you were wonderful xx

Been here a few times and it's spotless inside with very nice food, always busy which is a good indication of it's popularity...prices are good, The lady taking the orders is a little sullen looking and could maybe work on being more welcoming, but overall,a lovely place to eat.👍

Went into the cafe on Friday 8th September. The place has taken a knock. Staff abysmal, attitude to work and professionalism stunk. Waited over 15 minutes for my coffee. Waitress complained that they were short staffed but never mentioned this fact, when she snatched my money without polite riposte as I said thank you.
Karl G — Google review
We called today while walking round the Canch Park, as dogs aren't allowed, one of the team offered to take us a table outside , unfortunately just after we ordered the heavens opened and my hubby had to nip our little dog back to the car before eating our food which was lovely and fresh, (I definitely recommend the sausage rolls 😋)The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be returning in the future
