We went there without a reservation, and we were lucky to get the table that was just freed up. The food was decent, though we had to wait for it a bit. The most amazing part is that you order food by constructing Lego. The order process is animated, and you can watch how your food is prepared by LEGO figurines.

We loved it, the bread and salted butter were a nice surprise and exquisite! 🍞❤️ We didn't have to wait for a table because we reserved it online beforehand! The meat was cooked perfectly and the meal was nicely seasoned. I loved the mushrooms! 🥰 The Aioli dip made in the house was also very good! 🥳 The interactive parts were lovely, bulding the meal and the little movies shown before the meal. 🍱 The robots were the best part! 🤖 Thank you very much! 🥰🤗

It’s best to reserve a table in advance, although you might still get a seat if one opens up — we saw quite a long waiting list. Ordering food is quite a unique experience, with plenty of video displays that are fun for kids, who can also play with LEGO while waiting. The food arrives in boxes, and it’s entertaining to watch the robot deliver it. The food itself is okay, and the whole visit takes about an hour.

Great place to relax and eat after visiting legohouse. Building your food out of Lego is an experience :) Robot fans will like the antics of Robert and Roberta, the two robot servers. Friendly staff and good food, I would recommend the salmon.

This was hands down the best experience for a Lego loving family and the food was actually really good, healthy and fresh. Portion sizes could have been a little bigger or a dessert offering. Such a good concept to build your meal and watch the robots make it 😉

Good food, but they could lay the sauce on the burger. Better to taste the burger. Everyone else had also a good meal. Service was fast and food hot.

Super family friendly (we were a table of 10 people) 👌🏻 Generous sized portions and everything was delicious 👌🏻 The one tip is to ask for the kebab gravy on the side, we had to send it back as there was too much sauce, but the team turned it around quickly and the meat tasted great 👌🏻 We shared a few classic pizzas, all were just perfect 👌🏻 The pastas and homemade lasagna were generous and tasty 😋

Went in for a quick bite, but relaxed from the moment we stepped inside and where greeted with an honest smile & welcome. Love the dinner, really affordable prices and compliments to all staff (visible on the floor, behind the counter and those in the kitchen). Highly recommended, will visit again when in the area 👍

Stopped by for an order to go after exploring Lego house. The food was good, maybe better than expected for the price, and so much of it! I had zero issue paying with a US credit card.

Honestly - it's the same food like in every bar in Denmark, just with waiter service. Prices are above average but portions' sizes are also big. Very nice service.

Came to Bellini for dinner after a recommendation from another restaurant in Billund. The staff were friendly from the minute I arrived and the service was decent, especially taking into consideration how busy it was. The menu is extensive, offering all the Italian classics and also steaks and burgers. I ordered the Milano pizza and it was tasty. Recommend!

Today we ordered the Marinara pasta. The pasta was absolutely incredible, and we truly enjoyed our meal. Many thanks to Chef Ergin for the delicious food and to the waiters for the excellent service❤️

Really bad pizza - very fat, oil is just running down from it. It is called burrata pizza- there was no burratta on top of it. Very expensive- iptivier than in Copenhagen. 115 for bread with fat.

This hotel has very basic rooms and facilities. Everything was clean and functional - no issues. The restaurant and shop/cafe are brilliant but I am only rating the hotel on this part of the review. Staff were helpful. Good for families. Breakfast is basic but acceptable. Great location for Lego, plus close to the airport. Town centre also close but it's a small town so expect a small selection of shops and restaurants. I can't see that the shop is listed separately so I add info and photos here. The shop has a brilliant range of drinks, snacks and chocolate. Also nice that you can sit in a cafe section.

Very nice hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Perfect place to stay if you want to walk around town. There is also a free shuttle that can take you to the airport and other places farther away.

We only went to the restaurant. The food was good and the service wonderful. Our waiter was kind and quick. The salmon was delicious with its white wine sauce. The steak was also delicious and the vegetables on both dishes were amazing. The atmosphere was really nice, quiet and calm.

Very good location, friendly staff, good breakfast. All in all a nice small hotel. At least our room was quite small for 3 people (double bed and bunk bed). Legoland is easily accessible on foot.

Ok so there was a error with Are booking so they went out of there way to give us the best rom they have in the hotel the lady we spoke to Was the sweetest she was so understanding of the situation and said what ever happens your gona have a rom to sleep in the food here is ofc a bit pricey but you get what you pay for portion of all food is great and the quality yoi can tast they dont use the bad stuff thx for having us 🥰🥰🥰

Great location just a short walk from the Lego House and the centre of Billund. Free shuttle bus on the half hour to wow park and Lego Land. Lovely breakfast. Rooms were comfortable. Air conditioning needed in summer which didn't have. Staff friendly and helpful.

We just had dinner here, we did not stay in the hotel. The restaurant looks good and it’s clean. They don’t have a complicated menu, one food per each meat type (literally like: The Steak, The Chicken, The Schnitzel, The Fish, The Green dish). There are also a few starters. The food is served pretty quick. Fresh bread, salted butter and water are included anyway. The staff is very friendly and polite. Definitely a good restaurant in the area to have dinner.

The buffet had a decent selection and good amount of variety with food being quickly replaced, as well as self service bar. We were there in Feb holidays so was quite busy but didn't feel too crowded. Visited on a work trip with all adults who have dined in every Billund restaurant many times and we were pleasantly surprised!

We were going to Pepes cantina, super confusing because there was no staff. Il bambino did have, aftef asking it turned out Pepes Cantina and Il Bambino buffé is one and the same also included 8 draft beers, 4 red and white wines, cavas, sodas. Something for everyone and a great ending to a day full of action. A bit crowded and full of life with lots of small children, which was expected.

Usually do not write reviews. The food we got served 26.05.2022 was very good. I was surprised how good quality it was. Fresh, tasty, nice presentation, really really well done! Dont understand the low ratings. Only reason why not 5 - too dark in there for my taste. Added some photos, but bear in mind, shity camera and no professionalism in taking those pictures. It actually looked much nice. And there was more than enough of everything as all was buffet. So if your up to get stuffed, thats the place

Large selection from the buffet, which includes food from both Il Bambino and Pepe’s Cantina. Very good and fresh, and price includes soft drinks, beer and wine.

Rooms and location - not relevant. We took takeaway. As mentioned, takeaway. Unfortunately, the portion was far from a 4-6 persons. The meat was enough to max 3 persons. So, disappointing ...

Fantasies American style BBQ and lots of salad side options too

When stepping into the restaurant you get the feeling you're back in school. Really bright and basic furniture. But the concept of marking on the menu what you want is really easy and fun. The most important part though is the food, and that was really good. The steak was perfect and tender and the sides where also good. Perfect for a family dinner, but maybe not for the nicer business meetings.

What a strange place, was told that they couldn't seat 5 of us when the restaurant was clearly empty but said if we waited 15 minutes there would be space. Fine we waited even though no new people came in, guess they use a back exit maybe? When we were seated we were handed this fill-your-menu paper with no explanation other than everything on the 4 areas was compulsory. What crazy prices! Looking at about 400dkk per person. Sat for about 30 minutes and no waiter came to take any order so we decided to leave. What a shame because the food looked good in the pictures but the service is utterly disgusting.

Good food. But a bit to expensive for medium quality foods

First and foremost the food was good. We ordered a familiy takeaway box and it was more than enough for 3 adults and 1 child. The variety was good. However the salad could have been better, as we chose a pre made box. You do have the option to make your own. Staff gave an ok service, but it was clear they were young summer helps. Which has it's pro and cons. But we did enjoy the food, which is the important thing.

We ordered short ribs and a ribeye steak. The portion sizes were good, and came with a choice of potato (we got fries and baked potato with garlic butter). The food was a little on the salty side, but otherwise tasted great. We visited when the restaurant was mostly empty, and so received prompt service from the staff. It was also a little bonus to watch people skating in the rink beside the restaurant during our meal.

Whimsical hotel with direct access to Legoland Park. The staff is always smiling and very helpful, and the adventure room we stayed had plenty of space (5 beds!) with lots of Lego touches (including a large box with mixed pieces for building in the room), although the decor was a bit tired. This isn’t a place where you go to relax; it’s extremely crowded and noisy, and it’s right by Billund airport, which means we were woken up very early by roaring jets. Special note for the 3-course menu at the Panorama restaurant; the plates were elegant and the food delicious (plus, the little one loved the kids buffet!) But it’s a super fun family-focused hotel that is the perfect base to visit all things Lego.

We stayed at Hotel Legoland for three days, drawn by its family-friendly reputation. The room was clean, beautifully decorated with a pirate island theme, and the bathroom was spotless. The staff at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the in-room breakfast was satisfactory. However, our stay was marred by significant issues. The room lacked air conditioning, which was a major problem during our summer visit. The heat and humidity were stifling, making it difficult to breathe at times. When I inquired about switching rooms, the reception informed me that none of their rooms have air conditioning. The small fan provided was inadequate, and opening the window offered no relief due to the warm outdoor temperatures. This made sleeping uncomfortable for both nights of our stay. Similarly, the hotel’s restaurant felt uncomfortably warm, suggesting poor or nonexistent air conditioning, which made dining unpleasant. The restaurant experience was also disappointing. The food quality was comparable to fast food, like McDonald’s, yet priced like a high-end restaurant. The menu lacked variety and failed to meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the bed size for our 11-year-old child was too small, which added to the discomfort. While the hotel’s design, with its array of toys and Lego-themed decor, is undeniably appealing for children, the lack of essential amenities like air conditioning and the subpar dining experience do not justify the exorbitant cost. For the same price, you could stay at a higher-quality hotel with better facilities if the Lego theme isn’t a priority. Overall, Hotel Legoland’s charm is overshadowed by its lack of basic comforts, making it difficult to recommend for the price.

This is difficult because Legos is life. The hotel is part of a magical place, direct access to the park which is fabulous and the staff members were truly amazing but for the Flagship hotel of LegoLand, the hotel itself was a disappointment. It’s dated and in need of an upgrade. The shower in our room barely drained and there was this god aweful sewage smell.

Good holiday turned into nightmare as Legoland policy seems to be: do not cancel ANY parking ticket, even if it were result of honest mistake. Long version: 0. Hotel parking charges were introduced this year. There were no parking fee for previous years. 1. Website FAQ says: "Terms and conditions are also stated on the parking signs by the parking areas." 2. I correctly registered on their car parking web portal. 3. The hotel car park is regularly completely full. So I drove around to the other side. Some parking signs say "Staff only" some doesn't. 4. I park at parking sign that does NOT say "staff only". 5. Got parking ticket. 6. Only after asking staff, I got told whole car park is staff car park. There is a long sign at the entrance, staff only is easily missed at very bottom. 7. Their only Email contact insist signage was sufficient. Not willing to cancel the ticket for their customer. In summary, be extremely careful where you park. Parking used to be free. LEGOLAND now operates a cash-grab scheme with EUROPARK, introduced just this year. Despite what LEGOLAND official website say, do not trust any signage, always double check with reception.

We recently stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel in Billund in a business room and were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience. The room itself felt dated and in need of a serious refresh. For the price of €180 per night for the most basic room, the quality was not what we expected. There were also a shocking lack of power outlets, particularly none near the beds, which is a basic necessity in a modern hotel room. The noise level was also a significant issue; we could hear every footstep and all the children running around in the hallway and on the floor above us, making it difficult to relax. The breakfast was a complete disaster. The dining area was far too small to accommodate the number of guests in such a large hotel. This led to long queues for everything—from the hot food to the drinks. It was a chaotic and stressful start to the day. While we understand that this is a hotel primarily for kids and families, the fundamental aspects of a comfortable hotel stay were not met. The dated room, lack of amenities, and chaotic breakfast made our stay feel like a very poor value for money.

Great hotel, great service. They speak English, Danish and some even speak German so extra points for that too. Always willing to help and the hotel makes it easier to manoeuvre from the park and back. Also, food is not too expensive. Quite affordable is you ask me.

The staff at Legoland Billund were fantastic—very friendly, smiley, and polite. Our kids had an absolute blast, as expected. The rooms were okay overall, but the bathrooms felt quite dated and definitely didn’t match the premium 5-star hotel price. Breakfast was average and had a bit of a student-canteen vibe, and hygiene standards were questionable. Also, there was no phone available in the room to call reception, which was inconvenient. I understand theme parks charge a premium, but improvements in cleanliness and updating facilities are needed to justify the high rates.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed at Hotel Svanen and have to give a huge shoutout to Diego at the reception. He’s hands down the nicest and most helpful guy I’ve ever met at a hotel. From the moment I arrived, he went out of his way to make everything easy — super friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay perfect. You can tell he takes pride in his job and actually enjoys helping people. If every hotel had a Diego at the front desk, traveling would be a whole lot better. Big thanks, man — you made a great impression. 👏

Call me a snob but... This cant possibly be a 4 star hotel? It's basically a motel with rooms that's seen better days. For what it is i think its fine and the staff are all friendly and doing their best but the whole "4-star" rating throws off expectations. Rooms Incredibly hot and stuffy rooms with poor ventilation. Very dated decorations unless you are into Top Gun (the original). Mold smell from the bathroom. Keeping windows open at night is not a good idea due to the traffic outside. Restaurant We had dinner at the restaurant once and while the food was ok (nothing to write home about but not bad) the experience felt typical for a small town with inexperienced waiters doing their best but not really being able to live up to the so called "4 star" experience. Long wait times and hard to get waiters attention even with a near empty restaurant, they couldn't replace one type of potatoes with fries so we had to order a side of fries and a main course with the potatoes removed (at full price of course) and of the two glasses of sparkling wine we ordered one arrived half full for some reason. Maybe the waiter had a sip to get by? All in all, its fine. It's close to Legoland, the staff is friendly, there is plenty of parking space. Just drop the 4-star act and we will all be happier :)

Relatively expensive hotel in Billund, this it's because its Proximity to Legoland. Otherwise it's not convenient for anything else. We pick the most expensive rooms and was a little disappointed when there wasn't any air conditioning. My fault. I should have probably checked the spec of the hotel room at a bit better. I've got a feeling that many hotels in Denmark don't have AC though, but it was extremely hot when we were there. Check in was swift and the girl was friendly. You need to go outside to the rooms most are on the ground floor motel style. There isn't a lift to any 1st floor rooms so bear that in mind if you have trouble with stairs so ask for ground. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was adequate with most breakfast items croissants fruit cereal the cooked option was very limited but the sausages were excellent. The check out system is strange you check out online (i did this by accident) and literally within 1 min the maid walks in the room without knocking. So after checking out online you can't just drop your key off you apparently still need to talk to staff at the desk. so is a pointless system. The check out lady at the desk on leaving (11th July) was very abrupt and rude. I must say the only staff member that was and possibly the only rude person I met in Denmark on my trip.

Most of the rooms are slightly old. Some rooms seemed to be renovated. The hotel rooms' style are same as motels (1 floor buildings). My room (specially bath room) was not clean. There were so many hairs on the floor. The breakfast was good. Staff was kind. So many parking places in the hotel yard.

Poor service for the price you pay. When you ask the staff for information about the stay, they say they don’t know much – just that it’s near the attraction, Legoland. At breakfast, we asked if they could make some fried eggs, and they replied in a bad-tempered way. It’s not expensive to give a smile to your guests. Would decently not recommend this hotel to anyone and the price for this matter is not valid and right.

Stayed here for three nights and visited Legoland for two days. Had a junior suite. Room was a bit outdated and since there was no a/c, it got pretty hot fast when sun was shining. Luckily the nights were on the cooler side, so keeping the windows open made sleeping easier. Breakfast had enough to choose from and service was friendly. Legoland is pretty close, so location is convenient if you're visiting there.

A unique place, a traditional-style hotel and restaurant with a thatched roof and surrounded by living nature—there's even a fish farm nearby—a unique experience.

Place full of history, taking care of the details of each dish and unbeatable attention. We always return to this magical Krø although its rooms need a renovation (this time we did not stay in the hotel but we have done it several times). Excellent breakfast.

Old, cozy and clean B&B. Nice staff, clean rooms (a bit out dated though). No air conditioning. Beds felt good. Breakfast ok with breads, cerials, fruits etc. Crazy large dinner portions. 25 min drive from Legoland. I would recommend for couples and families.

Excellent restaurant, the best meat eaten in Denmark. The staff is very friendly, we arrived with a small child and immediately gave us one of the best places. The food is of excellent quality, the environment is nice and relaxing. Recommended!

Via our Airbnb host we got refered to this restaurant, and what a good reference that was! Not many words are needed to say that the atmosphere is nice and cosy, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and -most importantly- the food is of very high quality. I never in my life ate such a tender steak! Not exactly cheap, but worth every krona! Would recommend to everyone looking for a good restaurant in or around the Grindsted area. Not sure if reservation is needed, but given that it was completely full it would be good to do so.

Yummy food and fast and friendly service. The atmosphere is also fancy. All this for a decent price. One star is missing because we were told that only VISA cards are accepted (not Mastercard) and we luckily had enough Euros to pay before catching our bus.

A nice cafe, with plenty to choose from. There's plenty of food and it's well prepared. Ordered my steak, rare and they managed to cook it to perfection!

We spontaneously decided to visit this Café J after a funeral, and even though we came 10 people, unannounced on the minut they opened, they still managed to get us seated and provide excellent service. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff really helpful. The price is affordable and fair. I recommend a visit.

Excellent visit for a family of four for 3 nights. Not to much else going on in Filskov, but the rooms were nice, service was good and the food was great. Perhaps the best Caesar's salad I've had.

Great place to stay and eat! The hotel is very quiet with renovated facilities and rooms. Very friendly and attentive staff at all times. Relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy a book in front of the fireplace, some billiard and darts, a beer with friends on the terrace... The restaurant is incredible, a menu with attention to detail and selected ingredients from the area. Highly recommended for meals with family or friends.

Decent food and rooms. Great for families with kids (who might stay due to nearby Legoland) with a nice play room and things to do outside, both at the kro itself but also at a very close playground that was really beautiful.

Comfortable stay with good dining opportunities! :) The windows of some rooms face the parking lot, while the others - quiet greenery. Internet - ok, bed - great, bathroom - good, ventilation - perfect, natural. Personnel is friendly. Please, please improve your coffee for breakfasts, coffee machine would help a lot! Also, there is a bus stop nearby, however I had no chance to find out what routes are proposed there.

We got a family room to stay in for our two nights when going to legoland. Near enough for a quick ride. Food they serve was really good even tho I preferred the flat fish over the schnitzel myself. Smoked salmon starter was great. But messy of what order was to be placed on the room and payed at checkout (we had prepayed the room). Standard was fair and a good playground outside for kids. Breakfast was alright with mainly bread, turkey, ham, cheese some melons/fruits, some yoghurt and quite a lot of pastries. Coffee was alright.

Stayed just the one night. Clean and comfortable but dated rooms. Basement amenities for pool and table tennis were non functional. Outside was nice but dated as well. Had a great walk through the town and surrounding area that really showed the charm of the town. Buffet breakfast was limited and seemed poorly presented and of mediocre quality.

We were at the restaurant and the food was really amazing. Quite pricey for people outside Scandinavia but the quality is to die for. But the service was not that impressive. We had to wait really long time before the staff pays attention to us. Also they didn't ask what kind of water do we prefer, so we were served the one which costs 1.5 times more than a beer. The place can be reached with a car, it's in the middle of nowhere.

Apart from one dish which had potato mash as base everything was really tasty. Dishes came quickly. I don’t like salmon but it was delicious here and didn’t have strong fish taste like Norwegian fish farm salmon. There was slight oil aroma in restaurant but we got used to it really quickly and didn’t notice it later.

we were satisfied. the sushi was high quality, the service was pleasant and helpful. the robots that brought food to the table were the children's favorites. i would also recommend it to others. a worthwhile place.

We visited Atami for dinner. They offer a hybrid concept of all-you-can-eat with buffet and fresh orders via tablet. While this concept promises a nice experience, we were faced with significant waiting times on orders (three orders did not even arrive) and parts of the buffet were empty without any refill in sight (e.g. fried rice, which is a basic menu item). Due to that, we spent much more time than anticipated and than a buffet experience should require you and could not completely enjoy the experience. Staff is helpful and engaged though. All in all, not quite the right value for its money.

The sushi is generally good, there is some nice and interesting combinations to try if you like a.modern twist with feitiy flavours . Otherwise the buffe is not worth it, but the sushi is delivered on fast phase so easy to get full on sushi alone. Also a normal glas of tapwater is 20 dkk (dont know if this is common in Denmark however?)

Food was good. The buffet had mostly chicken, but I'm not complaining. The sushi was okay. The delivery robots are fun, but not practical for this place. Service from staff was under par. As they don't deliver there is no way of contacting them. Not everything can be ordered through the tablet on the table. The only atmosphere was the "Cannon" played by the robots when driving round.

Being able to eating Mexican food is great when the majority of restaurants are either Italian or standard steak/burger restaurants and we were happy that they had space for us at 18:30 without reservation. The food was okay but far from brilliant. They had 3 types of warm dishes, out rather said, wrap filling: chili con carne, chopped meat or chicken with large paprika pieces. These all tested pretty ok but weren't exciting. They have a salad bar and decent dessert, but the churros where a bit too fat and hard. Including drinks and tips we spend about 110 euro, what seems to be a decent price/quality balance

Not perfect but good enough. If you don't like your chicken with skin, it's mit your choice of you want chicken. But except for that, it tasted good the ambient was nice too.

All you can eat and drink for about 360. Most food was good. The Mexican side is the winner. The Italian side was below par. Did not try the pizza. Fries and pasta were bland. Nice atmosphere with the Mediterranean evening look of the indoor hall. We got some live music while eating. That also helps.

We ate a late dinner with our friends at your restaurant and in the next 24h 3 of 4 people were sick - including vomiting and diarrhea. During the dinner we were talking how bad that place is but we didn’t expect the final 😤 Besides that food was too salty and with no taste. Some random canned food. I had to ask one of your employees to change the water in the bucket for the ice cream scoop because it was so dirty we were loath to use it. Strongly don’t recommend!!!

Service is good. Food is ok but JUST OK. Doesn’t worth a 200kr buffet. Ice cream is just average quality. Very little variety of anything. Only a good place when you’re really starving. Don’t like the place and it only worth 2stars, no more than2.5…

Menu here is very limited, with only 3-4 courses to choose from. But this seems to be the case for all restaurants in Lalandia. The food was also bland being Mexican food. And my steak was chewy and tortilla chips looked like thin paper with little taste. The only thing with some real taste too it was the salsa dip. Can't really recommend this place

The food was meh. We are a family with a son (3)and a very young daughter (1). They kept us waiting for almost an hour. In the end we had to ask a couple of times where our food was. We ordered three chicken fajitas And got just a little bowl with filling barely enough for 2 people. The extra's on the menu where also little portions. I would not recommend the place (or just keep the above in mind).

The first thing that was not good was the smell of the room; it had a very bad odor due to the lack of ventilation. The room was very warm, and if we opened the window, a lot of mosquitoes would come in because the hotel was next to a small river. The shower curtain was very dirty and had a lot of mold. Breakfast was from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and in our opinion, the breakfast hours were too early."

Rooms are ok. Matresses are too soft though. Bathrooms could be improved. Breakfast is very good and the service during breakfast is very good as well. For dinner, the summer buffet is a good option but service during dinner needs improvement. Breakfast and dinner hours are limited and need to be extended during vacation season. On Saturday we arrived at 8:20pm and we asked if they could exceptionally serve two plates to our children who are 7 and 4 and they said no. A bit of flexibility would be helpful as there aren't many options to eat near the hotel.

Nice place to stay, small town with plenty there. Hotel basic and don't go when they are voting because you'll only get pork with potatoes. But the menu is lovely on a normal night. I can recommend the salmon starter....steak was ok but the salted caramel ice cream with poached pear was divine.

This hotel is highly recommended. The hotel has facilities to host weddings, birthdays and speciel events. The food is excellent, i can especially recommend their smoked salmon and homemade icecream, both among the best i ever tasted.. the service is really good...All in all very highly recommended👍😍

We was happy to stay there, nice room, pretty good personal but when we was about to leave, one lady told that we stealed the salt and the pepper which wasn't true... And want it back?!? Dear Miss, we dislike your rude behavior even till you served our dinner. I had a phone call, and she told me that I can't speak by the phone at the restaurant..is it a library or a restaurant at all?!?! How ever if we miss that part everything else is okay..

It's OK, but outdated. We stayed at the main building and the room was big enough however the future is old and very much look like the 80"s & 90's. Only 3 Danish channels on the Television. Nothing in English. Rooms are well cleaned. I do not understand the positive reviews about the restaurant as the hot buffet was cold. The quality of the food where served from the menu was below average. My wife found pencil scarf in her food and the waitress apologized for it. Staff is friendly. Internet is quick. We stayed for 2 nights to visit Legoland and for that purpose it's just fine but do not expect too much out of it especially fron the restaurant.

Acceptabel comfort. I slept very well in my bed. Breakfast had all important stuff to eat. TV on the room had a lot of channels from all nearby countries. The rooms are not newly renovated but ok. Good cleaning, they made the beds after all nights of three.

Don’t visits this place! Have eaten a lot in my life but this was the worst one I visited in my life. No variation and only fried dishes! The taste is even more worse than the looks of the food and I can guarantee you, you will have issues with your stomach later that day! I think a frozen pizza from the LIDL around the corner will do you more good than this place! Please keep away if you don’t want you day/rest if your holiday to be ruined.

We had a family dinner here after a day at Legoland. The kids loved the food, especially the fried chicken with curry sauce. The place is clean and tidy but not very cosy. This might not be the place for a romantic dinner, but for us it was perfect today. A small warning for those allergic to peanuts, though - the buffet had peanuts.

Not impressed by the quality of their food. Most of the food are pre-prepared, and seem to be overcooked in the friture. The desserts are bought as is and displayed. It looks good, but lacks taste. The positive from the visit, was the Mongolian barbeque. Which is the only thing I can recommend. The price, on a weekday is 178 dkk, pr. Person, which I think for the quality you get, is too much.

Little to loud in the dining area. Could be fixed with more sound proofing and less glas. Food was tasty but some of it cold. Kitchen was a bit slow in filling up so could not taste everything because food run out

I heard that the Chinese workers in the kitchens of all the Chinese restaurants in Denmark work at least 12 hours a day, with a maximum of 1 day off a week or even no rest day, but their wages are still not counted as overtime wages. The salary is still based on 8 hours a day and 2 days off a week... Because all the denmark Chinese restaurants have their own "laws" to exploit workers, which is seriously beyond Danish laws!  It is hoped that the relevant government departments in Denmark just to check any chinese restaurant in danmark at 11 AM,and check again same this chinese restaurant in danmark at 11 PM,You will find the "same face same one"Chinese workers working more than 12 hours a day! This is what all Danish Chinese restaurants have done illegally beyond Danish laws. Danish Chinese restaurant owners have tried their best to get Chinese chefs from China to work in Denmark, just for cheap labor that can be exploited at will!  In addition, I also heard that all Danish Chinese restaurants have more or less tax evasion behaviors, and their daily turnover is less than the actual turnover (the cash they receive will hide part of it) I hope that the majority of customers will report the above matters to the relevant law enforcement agencies in Denmark. Democratic and free Denmark cannot allow the above-mentioned dirty and illegal acts to exist!

Good Chinese buffet, with loads of options to choose from and they kept bringing out new food at a good pace. We even forgot to make use of the Mongolian BBQ, so we will have to go back for that. Friendly staff, clean tables, great tasting food. Unfortunately not all guests seemed aware of/willing to follow the covid-19 regulations (those arrows on the floor also applied to you!).

Great place in middle of town. Very relaxed atmosphere, staff were fantastic, very nice/friendly. The food was awsome. Butter Chicken - delicious and great portion sizes. Fish Sandwich - My work colleague said was really tasty. Thank you!

This is a nice restaurant with good food options. I had the Gin Haas, homemade Indian rolls, fish and chips and all were very good. Everything was a little bit expensive compared to similar restaurants in the area I also went to, but the staff were friendly and attentive. I would come back for the Indian rolls!

A calm place with excellent service, offering a mix of cuisines from American and Italian to Indian. Some reviews mentioned they don’t accept foreign credit cards, but I was able to pay easily with Apple Pay using a non-Danish card. The food was good – the burger, chicken pasta, and fish & chips were tasty – though the butter chicken didn’t feel very authentic. Prices are extremely high, and there’s no tap water available, only bottled, which most restaurants usually provide for free.

Really nice restaurant and friendly staff. We had the bacon cheeseburger and the Jack Daniels burger. Both were fantastic and quite big. The fries were also really good. Just the burgers coke Zero and water cost $100 Canadian so definitely very pricey for us but didn't seem out of norm for the area. Still think charging for tap water is crazy but until locals demand otherwise this won't change!

We sat and ate very comfortably. The restaurant is nicely decorated with friendly service. Music is exactly at the right volume, especially when the restaurant is not fully packed with people. Convenient location across from Lego House. A burger was 200 kr including fries. A beer sits between 60 and 80 kr. Burgers and fries were very tasty (and filling too).

We loved the food here, the menu is brief but everything is delicious.

The most impressive chicken sandwich (chicken burger) I've ever had. The bun was very light. The sandwhich was stacked high with crispy onion bits, bacon, fresh veggies, cheese, and sauce. The mashed potato fries had an awesome crunch. The service was brilliant and kind. We never felt rushed, but we're checked on often. The restaurant had a nice eclectic fell that wasn't overdone. Very unique. It was a perfect spot for our last lunch in Denmark before heading home.

We stayed 2 nights on a visit to LEGOLAND and Lego House. The rooms are clean, modern and charming. There are so many seating areas on each floor and around the lobby to hang out. Staff are very friendly and I had nice chats with Mikkel who is a genuine Lego fan. There is a convenient deli area where we found refrigerated, freshly prepared food for sale (even includes microwave instructions) for times when the main restaurant is closed. We kept finding new ways to get from our room on the 2nd floor to the restaurant for breakfast, as there are so many elevators and staircases tucked away at various spots. The breakfast was one of the best we had of any hotel in our European trip, we loved its scale and variety. Each floor has their own water closets, so you can use the one on the floor if the one in your room is occupied. The hotel is located walking distance from LEGOLAND (basically across the street) and about 20 minutes from Lego House if you take the walking path through the sculpture park. I’d definitely stay here again in the future!

It’s hard to understand why this hotel is designed in a way that requires walking huge distances, including up and down stairs, just to get to your room or the breakfast restaurant. The service is good. The breakfast is a bit unusual, but everything is very fresh and tasty. The place is clean everywhere. The room itself, however, is definitely in need of renovation - the walls reminded me of my school many years ago.

Edit* After few days of stay I still believe that waiting in lobby for reception staff in line with other guests checking-in just to pay for food from the fridge is definitely something they need to work with. However I appreciate the kindness of staff members who were always ready to help me. The hotel has all you need for long or short stays. It is very well equipped both in rooms and facilities. The best gym and common areas in 3* hotel I've ever seen!!! There is plenty of things to do in the hotel. Multiple rooms and areas to play with kids or with friends and family members. Also warm swimming pool with loads of things to play and have fun with. Sauna is a bit worn out but still in 3* hotel it's something unique to have:) if you have a ground room towards garden you're lucky! It's very quiet and cooler then upper ones. Some guests in the evening were spending time outside talking reading and laughing. I appreciated the vibe around it:) it's clean. Other staff members are always kind polite and helpful. The breakfast is perfect for 3-4 nights. You can easily take something tasty and different every day! Overall great place for legoland guests and or business customers too! Rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with good quality furniture. I would add water dispensers to the common areas if hotel management doesn't want to provide bottled water in the room. It becomes already a standard to allow the guests to fill their bottles every time they need it. Its a no cost to the owner and gives a lot added value. Strongly recommend. Extremely slow check in!!! Not to mention if you want to pay for deli you still need to wait in line like others to check in. Clean and comfy rooms though

Rooms are good, staff seem to spread a little thin even at 6 pm at night. Restaurant in the hotel is breakfast only and the “snack bar” has limited options. 15-20 minute walk to an actual restaurant that is decent or $30-$40 Uber ride one way.

Reception staff are extremely helpful but waiting time to speak with someone can by very long. Would suggest more staff to cope with guest request, checking in , pool towels and serving at the bar. I felt sorry for the one person on duty coping with a queue of frustrated guest. She dud well. Rooms clean if a bit worn in some places. Pool area spotless. All housekeeping staff were lovely. Restaurant. Access in the bread area could be better. People cutting bread/toasting can get in each others way. A bit of a soulless area to eat.

Expected to see lots of families there due to location being beside lego land. Rooms were a good size for 3 adults, clean and well presented. Clean towels on request for the pool, however it would have been nice to have an adult only time in the pool - spent most of the time dodging children, moving floats and or swimming round them. Pool was freezing cold too! Sadly many guests feeling it acceptable to walk through hotel in dripping wet swimwear - quite.some distance from.the pool - even sitting at the indoor bar wrapped in a towel. Lovely breakfast choices, tasty food.

We were very impressed with The Lodge. Such a good price for the quality and proximity to Lalandia and Lego Land at the end of summer. Our room had such a good view of the aeroplanes landing and taking off from Billund Airport too! Friendly staff, cosy room and a great breakfast. I also really like that they acknowledge they're busy with limited space and request you book your breakfast time slot.

Nice place good service. Nicely priced food and wine. Sad the steak was very thin. Not even an magician could get this nicely done. Better not sell this type of meat. Try a sort of Rib eye, or New York strip.

Visited last autumn (2 times) and this autumn. Best Burger and Pommes I have ever eaten. It's a big portion (even when you order childrens meal). With tasty and creamy friese sauce. The pommes were well spiced. The meat was juicy. The bread fluffy. Also no need to wait long and stuff was also very kind. 100% recommended.

Service was horrifyingly terrible. It took ages to get our food and drinks served. The table next to us, who came like half an hour after we did, got their food served FIRST. Not even an apology or a note from the waiter that our food will take longer than usual! After like 15 minutes of waiting for the drinks to be served first, the waiter comes and says that the orange juice for our son is actually not available, which was very annoying because he didn't have any clue what they had in stock and what they didn't. The food was okay. Would not recommend this restaurant to others visiting the area.

Our family ate there late. The food was freshly made and tasted wonderful. We had pizza, pasta and appetizers. The service was very friendly and everything was very clean. It would be cozier if they played some music,but otherwise we enjoyed it very much!

Our flight was at 22:45, and this seemed to be the only place with something to eat. WH Smith had just two poor sandwiches, perhaps because it was a Sunday. The prices here are typical for airports across most of Europe. We got three kids' meals—cheeseburgers with fries and unlimited drinks—for 160 DKK. The kids said the food was really good. There’s plenty of seating, with charging points for phones, and even a locker for charging your phone for free. So, even if you don’t have a cable or charger, you can still charge up.

Never had Sunset Boulevard before but I got to say that they’re a pretty solid fast food place. Fair prices, very fast service and the food was delicious. Fries were super crispy, nice and tasty dips and the burger itself was also really good. I loved the crunchy bread, and I also loved the beef a lot. Solid contender to the other fast food giants

Quick service at midweek lunchtime. Tasty food, but it was cold… 🥴 Also, if you buy a menu and you prefer water, you need to pay extra, because you can’t have it from the drink dispenser. I’d return if I’d get my burger and chips warm enough to enjoy…

Easily the best burger I ever had anywhere, hands down. I had lunch here, on a Sunday. Little queue with very fast and good service. The freshly made burger roll was just superb. Still warm and cruchy. The meat patty was not the slim or greasy kind either. It was perfectly cooked, juicy and easy to chew. The seasoning on the fries is also brilliant. Do yourself a favour if you are here and have a meal even if the queue is long; it will worth it. 5 big chunky stars for Sunset Boulevard! Wish this would exist outside Denmark!

Burger was good, free refills better, french fries yummy but my wife went and ordered the whole thing for us by the automatic machine...so because the machine ONLY OPERATES on DANISH (what the heck this is an international airport!), our kid's burger had no beef in it lol🤣. They should seriously make an english version out of it!

While the burger was great, the self service system let you add an unavailable burger menu to the basket and go to check, and then give you a cryptic error message. Why would even show products that you can't deliver 🤨🙄

Staff were very friendly and delivered a quick service. The restaurant was very clean and modern. The food was decently priced and very tasty. The menu had a really good choice of food, it was hard to pick something as everything looked good 😄.

We were tempted in after a day at the Lego House, but left shocked and disappointed. While the pizza and garlic bread were acceptable, the spaghetti carbonara was a complete joke. For 140 DKK, the portion was so ridiculously small I had to ask if it was a child's portion. The most terrifying part, however, was when my son choked on a poorly cut, overly thick and fatty slice of bacon. We managed to get it out in a panic-filled last second. An overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly unsafe dining experience I cannot recommend.

Absolutely disgraceful service — avoid at all costs. We arrived and waited a solid 15 minutes before anyone even took our order — fine, we stayed patient. Drinks came out (non-alcoholic only, by the way — apparently ordering anything with alcohol was “not possible” that day, with no explanation whatsoever). Then… nothing. One full hour passed with no sign of our food. We asked three different servers at least three times, and each time we were told it was “on the way.” Then it became “ready in 10 minutes.” Ten minutes later? Still nothing. We followed up again — this time, they said “2 more minutes.” Spoiler: nothing came. We finally walked out — no food, no service, no apology, no explanation. Just a giant waste of time. It takes a special level of disorganization and disregard to treat customers like that. Never again.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The overall experience was disappointing, starting with the food, which was very underwhelming. The carbonara we ordered bore no resemblance to the traditional Italian dish – instead of a creamy, flavorful sauce, it was swimming in grease, with an unpleasant texture and little to no seasoning. It felt more like a poorly made pasta with bacon and oil than an actual carbonara. The pizza was equally disappointing. It was overly greasy, with an excessive amount of cheese that completely overpowered any other ingredients. The crust lacked flavor and crispness, making the whole dish feel heavy and unappetizing. Rather than enjoying a well-balanced pizza, we were left with something that felt more like a greasy, overloaded fast-food version. The atmosphere inside the restaurant didn't help either. There was an odd smell lingering in the air, something between dampness and stale cooking oil, which made us wonder about the level of cleanliness. It didn’t feel like the place had been thoroughly cleaned in a while, and that certainly affected our comfort during the meal. All in all, it was not a pleasant dining experience. With so many other options available, I would strongly suggest looking for a different place to eat – ideally one that offers better food quality, a more pleasant environment, and attention to hygiene.

Today I ordered from them, two different foods, I payd for deliver and I did not get any sign from them for two hours , I just decided to call and ask I stayed on waiting 13 minutes for the first time, and second maybe 5/6 … I just go and ask at the restaurant: the answer is… I just have a problem with the calculator…. No apologies, no nothing, we asked if we can just eat there and he told us no , for take away it’s ok … we stayed 20 more minutes waiting… the food was ok , nothing wow but fine …. I don’t think I will order again. But I just think that they need to change their stuff

Restaurant was mostly empty, yet service was inattentive. A large spider crawled on the wall by our booth. My Caesar salad was more like a pudding of salad dressing with overly salted chicken leather and some soggy lettuce. No croutons, not served with warm bread as menu suggests. My son ordered a pizza (by both dish name and number). Waiter misheard the number and ignored the name of the dish, presented something totally different than was ordered. So I showed on the menu what we had asked for, they apologized and brought out a new pizza… that was certainly closer to what he ordered, but still was NOT it. We took that and made it work, but it was strange.

No water for people dining in, so we had to buy soda. The fries were okay, the pizza large but unremarkable, the cheeseburger mediocre. Service was nice, prices on the low side.

Most important: great pizza’s!! Friendly staff. Not a real restaurant though, more of take away. They only had soda and water for drinks. They only accept Danish bank cards for payment (which is not clearly stated) - so tourists: bring cash or you’ll have to find an ATM afterwards. But highly recommended after a visit to Legoland.

Nice pizza. Order online and picked up at specified time. Only had to wait a few minutes and I feel alright with that. Read before that foreign debit / credit card is not allowed so withdraw from atm nearby and paid in dkk. Pleasant staff.

This is the best fast food restaurant in town. He knows about food allergies and gluten free pizza can be found. Also, my son has milk allergy, so I bring vegan cheese and he gets to enjoy his vegan pizza. :)
