Thanks to the chef's TV appearances, the Bullerei is very well known among tourists. But Hamburg residents also enjoy dining in the cozy and spacious atmosphere. Classic dishes dominate the menu, and the chef has managed to strike a balance between down-to-earth cuisine and high quality. Also chef’s enjoy their dinner at Bullerei regularely. The flavors are not very special and contain no surprising ingredients, but you will not be disappointed. The service was great, a mix between understatement but very attentive! Bullerei is always worth a visit. But don‘t forget to make a reservation.

We had a birthday dinner and ordered a la carte. The portion was very big so we couldn't even eat up. The stake was perfectly prepared and roasted vegetables were also 10/10. The service was also very attentive and gave me two shots of Eierlikör in the end.

Friendly service, Wine came quick, Burgers took about 27 min , 90s music playing outside, Blankets and pillows are quite dated. Burger was juicy and still pink in the middle. A bit bland though. We were missing the sumptuous feeling. For claiming to be a smashed burger there were absolutely no charred crispy bits on all of our combined 4 patties. Which left us with unfulfilled taste buds. Fries were crunchy and had nice seasoning. I can only talk for the burger, for which I would nit return. Overall a bit underwhelming.

Really good food here. Just had Entrecôte The Black Uruguay 300g with mushrooms and salad, it was all lovely. I didn't book but I'd recommend if there's more than one to book ahead because it was busy

It's one of those places you want to check out once then never come back. Everything is slow here so be patient if you're used to fast services. I had the Filet Cut from Ireland and it was good. Not sure if I would try steaks from Australia or Uruguay since they're so far away. My eating philosophy is to keep things local or close by. 😉 Fun design so do come and have a drink and check it out if you can get a table. Reservation recommended.

Was there for a work event in the privately hired room behind the main restaurant. We were well.looked after, fed brilliantly and the atmosphere was superb. They looked after us very well. The meals were great and it was quiet enough to have a conversation easily.

Great atmosphere with heritage and an amazing roof. I had the steak+ fries + salad which was nice. I recommend doing a reservation as I got lucky to get a table without it. Bathroom was not accessible. Restaurant located at the centre of Hamburg.

Very nice place. Inside the restaurant is very nicely decorated. We were there for the breakfast and you can find very nice french bakery and breakfast in the menu. We had croissant sandwiches and croque monsieur. All were very delicious. The menu was very nice for the evening and dinner too. It’s a very nice stop in the city

Worth a visit for the late-19th century Art Deco interior alone (the oval ceiling medallions especially. The breakfasts are excellent, from tartare cheval to avocado on toast topped with a poached egg Quite busy on weekends, but the preternaturally calm wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Nice place. Beautiful tiling from long past times. Good food, can recommend the Moroccan Breakfast. Prices very high, 6,40 € for a 0,2 orange juice is hefty.

Wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and high-quality cuisine. The highlight was definitely the black tagliatelle with calamari, zucchini, and pistachio pesto – one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfectly balanced flavors, beautiful presentation, and clear attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Café Paris exceeded our expectations during our Saturday afternoon visit. Despite not having a reservation, we were promptly seated. The interior, boasting an elegant art nouveau style, added to the charm of the place, exuding historical vibes. We savored a delightful small beef tartare and brunch set, both of which were delicious. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, enhancing our overall experience. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

Was maybe going to be 4 stars, but then I ate the German potatoes and they were 7 stars so averages out to 5. Busy place, needs more staff to keep up with demand. We were there on a Monday evening and just two staff members who literally didn't stop moving the entire time, clearly struggling to keep up with the orders. But they were very helpful despite us being just English speakers, and the food was delicious. Skip the roast beef, but definitely get the schnitzel. A neighboring table ordered a steak which looked fantastic, too. And do not skip the German potatoes (Bratkartoffeln)!

We ordered jager schnitzel, potatoes gratin and currywurst. We were amazed on how big the serving was. Never seen a schnitzel which is bigger than the plate. We came in without any reservations, they told us we only have an hour. But they were not that strict with that hour. Yes, it was not only us who were told we only have an hour. I think that is how it is when you come without a reservation. We will definitely try it again. We went home with a filled tummy. We can roll like a ball after. 🤭

OK - I get the hype on Tripadvisor and promotion of german food culture, which also led ME to this place on a cold tuesday in November. At 1800pm, the place was PACKED but I was still kindly accepted to a shared 4 person table. Already socialy compromised, we were later joined by another THREE guys - now seated 5, we were litterally on top of each other. Not good. YES, they serve german food on large plates and the beer is cold and tall. But the quality of food is severly lacking - its to fast for too many guests. Schnitzel Wiener Art was medium size, dark, dry and tasted like...nothing. compliments were huge portion of overcooked roasted potatos (a pinnacle in german cuisine!), a slap of the usual unfreezed overboiled veg, and a sponful of the worst "salad" (=raw china cabage, what?), tomato vedge, and a 1/4 citrus. It tasted like NOTHING, unsalted, unbuttered, dry, no sauce, soft and bland. Which is usual for "german food", but it could be so much better. Total of EUR 31,30 for Schnitzel and one local beer is OK and I was out again within the hour. Waiter was waiving for extra tips. He didnt get any. Too much, too hasty, too many. Concentrate, please.

My friends and I dined here on Friday evening. We escaped the gloom of the November hamburg evening and were welcomed by the warmth and traditional atmosphere. The schnitzel was sublime and the curry wurst was one of the nicest we have had. Simply wunderbah!

We were traveling to Germany for the first time and stopped to have German cuisine. We noticed the restaurant was extremely busy on a Saturday night so we decided to do take out. We had the schnitzel and soup and it was delicious! The schnitzel meal had a larger quantity of potato on the side. It was a huge meal that we had leftovers for the next day.

I’ve been going to Fischereihafen Restaurant for decades, and so did my father—he was a regular, visiting multiple times a week without fail. It’s more than just a restaurant to our family; it’s a tradition, a place filled with memories and the kind of consistency that’s hard to find anywhere else. Beautiful classic fish restaurant in Hamburg - can really feel the history of the place. Fish and seafood dishes are excellent, all are very rich and buttery. Recommend the mixed starter, with 5 separate small items for variety. Service was excellent and decor very cool

This was my favourite restaurant in Northern Germany. High quality food, great service and the ambiance proper old school - I love it! The Scholle is so good! Must visit when back in HH!

The food, the wine and the service is all impeccable. We love Hamburg in general, been here several times. But you can’t miss this gem. The waiting staff is very talented in my opinion. We didn’t have to think ourselves for even a moment. Thank you!

I have no idea what other people are eating when they say "world class"... but that was NOT our experience. Smoked Eel and scrambled egg was a novelty for a non-native and surprisingly, very pleasant. Everything we ate after that was a dissapointment. Staff were pleasant, if somewhat erratic and MIA, which is hard to fathom as there are a LOT of staff on the floor. My wife was really looking forward to a good Sole Meunière - unfortunately, over cooked, (seemingly either shallow or possibly deep fried, but didnt taste like it was done in butter?) the flesh was dry and the whole fish was presented naked, on a bare plate with a jug of what looked and tasted like a mix of hot vegetable oil and (possibly?) butter that she was to "dress" it with... ? Not great value for money at €75. (NB Had my wife insisted that I "not make a fuss" I would have sent both her's and mine back) The North Sea Turbot I had @€69.50 was equally dissapointing. Again it appeared to have been over cooked and possibly deep fried as it had a hard "shell" of flour or a batter of some sort all over it? The flesh inside was tasteless. The "mess" of overcooked vegetables created the final factor in the trifecta of dissapointment that was our €300+ last meal in the beautiful city of Hamburg. We were really excited to finish off our visit to Hamburg on a high note but left without finishing either main dish or the bottle of wine. We left quietly, very dissapointed and unsatisfied from what should have been, by all accounts, a sensational seafood dinner... Who knows, maybe the main chef was off on a Monday Night and they let the apprentice cook our meals?

Food was truly amazing, this was our second time and we decided to celebrate our 14 wedding anniversary there as we knew it would be great (based on our first experience) unfortunately we were not that lucky this time, although food was really amazing, beautiful, creative, great taste, service was not great 😵‍💫 it all started well but after a while they kind of ‘forgot’ we were there and left us unattended so we had to eat some of our dishes without nothing to pair (drink). At some point we were just waiting for someone to notice we were trying to get something to drink but just decided to ask for the check and leave, no one supported us to the door to get coats and stuff, which is common at restaurants in this level though. Shame cause food wise is really wonderful but I honestly dont feel like going back ever again.

Should have been a 2 star Michelin experience. From appetizer to starter we waited 1,15 Hour, food was looking good but very salty, cold or melted. Like it waited on the counter too long. Some dishes was good other not deserving of a 2 star. Wine is only reason they get a higher rating. I think they had a bad day ....

Our visit to Bianc for fine dining was nothing short of perfection. Every aspect of our experience, from the impeccable dishes to the excellent wine selection, left us thoroughly impressed. Each bite was a culinary delight, and we found it difficult to choose a favorite among the exquisite offerings. The portion sizes were just right, allowing us to savor every flavor without feeling overly full. The chef's personal touch, coming out to greet us and share his inspirations behind the meal, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall atmosphere. We also appreciated the sentimental touch of the olive tree from the chef's parent's home. Bianc truly exceeded our expectations and is deserving of high praise.

Wonderful place - gorgeous food - friendly, professional service. We were treated to a feast of tastes and textures. Colorful, artistic servings. Fabulous wine in the wine pairing menu. The owner strolls around and engages in small conversations at the tables. The big distance between tables ensures privacy. Acoustics is controlled, which enables an easy conversation without raising the voice. My wife had the Emotion, while I had the Garden. Both menus were great.

2 stars Michelin restaurant didn’t disappoint. Great dining experience. Service was of high level. Good wine recommendations to dishes. Pauses between courses were on point. The interior is nice. I like the fact that chef designed restaurant himself and brought a tree from his parents’ house, as well as imported tiles from Italy.

Bianc is incredible, extraordinary, hard to put in words. A night here is something that can’t be described, but has to be experienced. The food is out of this world: the taste, the texture, the looks, the presentation. But of course it goes much further than that. The service is extraordinary, how the kitchen & service team work together is a symphony of perfection. The design of the place, even the bathroom, the plates, the glasses : it indeed has to be experienced. We spend 5h to get through the menu and would therefore also recommend to get there early. We had the Garden (vegetarian) and Emotion (meat/fish) menu and did the wine pairing and the non-alcoholic pairing. Both excellent. You can also regularly take a look in the kitchen and see how everything is prepared. Everything is explained to you in details as well (wine & food) by the service team. The whole staff is very attentive, friendly and creates such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. We can only imagine how much hard work & dedication it takes to create such an experience! Thanks so much to the whole bianc team. We will be back!

The dining space, divided into two tiers, centers around a striking live olive tree, with the flooring transitioning from rich tumbled tiles to character-filled solid wood as you move between levels. Bianc masterfully balances dim ambiance lighting with spotlighted tables, ensuring the focus remains on the culinary art, your company, and the detailed menu in front of you. This thoughtful lighting design, reminiscent of photography principles, creates an intimate atmosphere within an open setting and beautifully highlights the dishes as if they were performing on stage. The kitchen, visible behind large glass panes, resembles a culinary theater, with bright lights and a tranquil environment that allows guests to witness the meticulous preparation of their meals without the typical kitchen clamor. Opting for the "Emotion" prix fixe menu, I embarked on a 20-course journey (13, if you count the first seven as part of the amuse-bouche) that was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece, with each dish artfully presented and paired with meticulously selected wines, predominantly from Germany. The à la carte menu offers a robust wine selection, presented in a sophisticated box for guests to explore and choose from. My "Emotion" experience began with an array of creatively served amuse-bouches and continued through a main menu featuring dishes like tuna with anchovy and blood orange, lobster with carrot and lemon, and a dessert that was the epitome of a perfect summer day on a plate. Each course was accompanied by a harmonious wine pairing that enhanced the flavors of the dishes. The level of creativity, attention to detail, and passion at Bianc is palpable, from the food and service to the ambiance. Chef Matteo's personal table visits to describe each dish and engage with guests underscore the exceptional dining experience Bianc offers. It's not just a meal; it's a journey that excites the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Bianc stands out as a world-class destination for those who appreciate the art of fine dining. On a side-note, I was absolutely certain after my visit that one day, they would earn a Michelin Star. Sure enough they did...not one, but two.

Friendly, prompt service and great crêpe. Had the classic which is cheese, ham and egg. The salads are also very good and have the pâté de campagne if you are hungry. They also have a great selection of ciders from Brittany and sell it also by the bottle. They also have a cute clothing shop by the entrance.

What can I say—this is a true classic French crêperie, and in my opinion, they serve the best crêpes in the city. The buckwheat savory crêpes are spot on, and the Brittany-style caramel crêpes are absolutely divine. I’m already back home and still thinking about those rich, luscious, caramelly crêpes. A must-visit if you love authentic French flavors!

The food was excellent!!!! I thought just a plate of galette wouldn't make me 'full' but it was quite filling and very satisfying amount. The price is reasonable and the volume is also good. The staff was nice and friendly. They speak French there which is so cool, and feels like I was in France. lol The setting was cute and cozy, cool and fancy. I'd love to go back again!

This place is an absolute gem. If I lived in Hamburg, I would be here weekly. The service was incredible; the best I’ve received anywhere in Germany. I was recommended the “Estivales” by Antony and it was top 5 foods I’ve ever had. Say hi to Antony from us :).

This is the 2nd time coming to Haerlin, now after they were awarded their 3rd star and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. I had the "Via Coravin" wine accompaniment, something I regularly do in order to discover new wines. As we were three persons we each also ordered a different one of the optional "supplements". From beginning to end this is what to expect of a good 3 star restaurant. Service was excellent, dishes were beautifully arranged and presented, and tasted delicious. Maybe because it was at the beginning but the amouse-bouches were simply devine. The evening proceeded at a liesurely pace with none of the unacceptable rush one is finding in some 3 star places like "Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare" with its 2 nightly seatings. As it was getting late with an elderly person, we took the petit fours home with us, hence the boxes. The whole evening was well worth it. I/we will return once the menu has changed.

Haerlin is the best restaurant I have ever tried. It far, far exceeds the quality of other three star places I have tried with fairly reasonable prices for fine dining. I especially appreciated starting with appetizers in the kitchen and getting an intimate view of the action. Only one minor quibble- sometimes, the staff was too soft spoken or unclear in English so I had to strain to understand. But I consider that my fault for not being better at German.

A Culinary Masterpiece – A Must-Visit in Hamburg! Dining at Jellyfish Hamburg was an unforgettable experience. The 7-course tasting menu was a symphony of flavors, textures, and creativity — each dish beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed. From the first bite to the last, the progression of courses showcased the chef’s exceptional talent and deep respect for seasonal ingredients. What truly elevated the evening was the non-alcoholic pairing. Far from an afterthought, it was innovative, bold, and perfectly matched to each course. From fermented infusions to botanical blends, every drink was a revelation — enhancing the dishes in ways I didn’t think possible without wine. I highly recommend opting for it, if it is a workday the next day — it’s a refreshing and inspiring alternative that deserves just as much praise.

Great Art does not arise from the desire to be everybody’s darling. Without any doubt this evening has been a wonderful experience, although all three of us had our moments where getting the message was kind of challenging. Apple and Peach wine in the wine pairing was a fearless approach that definitely accepted to cause some irritation. Both did make sense with the corresponding dish, but at least I was unable to find a common ground and become best friends with this selection.

The overall experience is worth of the one Michelin star the restaurant has. The overall tasting menu was very good and overall it was a nice experience thanks to the service. The only “complaint” i would have is that the “surprises” at the beginning are a bit too strong in terms of flavor vs what is coming next. I would like expect that the flavors to go higher as we progress through the menu but it was not the case. I would still recommend visiting when in Hamburg!

Beautiful food in a casual setting. The restaurant is really small so you should definitely reserve a table before coming. Staff is friendly and helpful, not too intruding into the private space of the guests. It's a seafood restaurant but there are many meat options and also vegan ones. Their food is pretty good, but also not too spectacular. The pasta seems tobe homemade and super delicious - chewy and comforting. The bread and whatever the dipping sauce/cheese was amazing. For a seafood restaurant, I expected the salmon to be better. It was a tiny bit too dry and needs more seasoning when I was there. The Parmesan foam looks nice, but doesn't really contribute much to the flavor of the dishes. Oh, and high praise to the silverware!

AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! HEAVEN! MICHELIN STAR DINING EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER! I have had the pleasure of dining twice at Jellyfish and both times have blown me away. This is a dining experience not to be missed! A young team have found a way to offer a Michelin star dining experience in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The dress code is casual, the customers from all walks of life and the food is to die for. Every mouthful hits the tastebuds in a fantastic way. The food is exquisite! This is an adventure, it is ART on a plate and the food exceeds your expectations. We celebrated my birthday and my sister-in-laws 40th. The memories created will not be forgotten. An amazing experience and highly recommend treating yourselves to a little bit of heaven. The staff are great! - friendly and very knowledgable. The chefs come out and introduce each course so you feel a connection to the kitchen. If you want a dining experience you will never forget Jellyfish is the restaurant for you! :-)

I can highly recommend the lunch they offer on weekends. Three courses for a great price. We had such a wonderful meal here that makes us want to come back for their entire tasting menu! We both were stunned by their plating - everything just looked wonderful.

The ability to witness the chefs’ intense focus and delicate craftsmanship without any barriers felt like a rare and refreshing gift. Every course offered elegance in flavor, texture, and presentation—each dish was a stunning display of subtlety and sophistication. It was the best Michelin experience I’ve had so far — truly a joyful and memorable time.

Truly deserving of its 3 Michelin star status, The Table is a gem! From the start of the evening where Kevin greets you at the door, all the way through the courses where he's keeping an eye on proceedings, you can tell that the man himself is totally obsessed with making your experience a memorable one. I highly encourage anyone who doesn't take alcohol to try the non alcoholic pairing. The fruit based drinks offered are spectacular and pair wonderfully with the food. Wow! This was an absolutely amazing experience. Another level of culinary art at this 3 star Michelin restaurant. The interior of the restaurant with a long curved table and view of the open kitchen really impressed me. The various chefs were producing master pieces in near silence, everyone knowing exactly what they had to do and when, a well orchestrated team. Then came the beautifully arranged dishes. Each with a unique and wonderful taste. The picture will tell the tale.

What an institution... Creative cooking on a level that is unreached here in Hamburg with some amazing flavors on the plate. We had a really great time here. But comparing it to other high end 3star restaurants I might say there is some room to improve. For instance it is quite common to get a little something - an amuse-bouche for the start or end that is served besides the menu you choose. Unfortunately not here. You will just get what you ordered. Which is ok, but I am spoiled from other places. So I am complaining on a high level here. Most of the dishes were great but we also had some that weren’t so memorable.

What an divine dining experience: unrivalled food quality, Understatement of interior design; the whole service extremely personal; a great team and an amazing Chief who is humble and paying attention to details! Mr. Fehling welcomed every guest at the entrance (no matter when they arrive), what a gesture! I am more than impressed. The cooking process is very clean and structured. Love the concept! Love the food! Love the people! "The Table" rocks!

Modern Northern European experience, it might be seen as cold, but it’s exactly the type of experience I was expecting, this is not a southern Italian trattoria. Seated on bar stools facing the open kitchen the meal at The Table goes smoothly, and it’s a journey throughout the whole world, with ingredients and preparation that variates differently. The Nordic touch is present also in the food, many plates are served cold and one plate is dedicated at the north see. The wine pairing was ideal, mostly white wines and light bodied giving a nice contrast with meal. Overall a satisfying experience!

Kevin Fehling and the team mastered the art of creating marvellous combinations of different tastes, textures, temperatures and colors. The food wonderland is accompanied by a selection of the finest wines from all around the world. We have waited for almost a year to receive a spot at the restaurant, but it was well worth the wait. This is definitely the best fine-dining place we have been to in Hamburg. Thank you very much.

First of all, the service was good. I didn’t really speak German but the lady was kinda and patient while taking my order. The currywurst on the other hand was OK. The wurst itself was good (crispy outside and well seasoned), but the sauce was bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe it’s just me (and my limited knowledge about currywurst lol).. but I tried bett- a more suitable currywurst according to my palate haha. But it’s a good place with great location.

I came here because of the good reviews and was disappointed by the food. The location and atmosphere are nice. I’ve had the Currywurst with potato salad. The potato salad didn’t taste like much and the curry sauce tasted like sweet tomato paste with chili. I’ve had way better, especially for that price.

A famous Currywurst stall in Hamburg. The sauce was thick and tasty. The lady at the shop asked if we wanted spicy and we said “very spicy”. But it turned out that it wasn’t spicy at all 😂😂😂🤣

The home made curry wurst sauce leveled up the dish to a just okay sausage which could have had more grill flavour to it.

The team might seen unfriendly,but tjey are not. Go with a currywurst and kartoffelsalat, bread is extra but helps you to finish the 200ml sauce you get. Enjoy!

One of the things on our to-do list in Hamburg was to go to Brücke 10 and have a fish sandwich 🐟 We went there in the late afternoon—there were only 2–3 people ahead of us, so we got our food without waiting too long. Luckily, we found an empty spot outside and enjoyed our Fischbrötchen (backfisch) and beer with a view 🍻 It was truly fresh and delicious. A tasty and filling street food option at a reasonable price—a true Hamburg classic. 👌🏼

There was a separate takeaway kiosk that was super helpful in avoiding the long queue for a dine-in table. Hot but windy place so many choose to wait to sit under some shade. There’s some seating area above it as well under some umbrellas. Worth a try from the takeaway kiosk — the smoked fish was delicious with the right level of saltiness and fishiness (little)!

What else can be said about this classic? I can only vouch that it has to be a mandatory stop in your trip. Authentic and accessible, the sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. While interacting with the service is limited given the nature of the no-frills place, the contact was always friendly.

Good spot for fish sandwiches! We really enjoyed the fish sandwiches — tasty and fresh. It’s a self-service place, which is totally fine, but the eating area could be a bit cleaner and more organized. Still, a nice stop if you’re around the harbor.

it’s the restaurant with the longest line of queuing in this area. the Bismarck sandwich is great with a bit sweet-sour taste. The shrimp sandwich is second to salmon sandwich I think. At last, a bee ruined my drink!

The raw fish bread was simply beautiful. Fresh fish, tasty bread with onion really makes a great combination. Love it to every bites

We stopped by Brücke 10 on recommendation, but the experience was underwhelming. Entering the terrace, we were met by a young staff member who seemed more focused on lecturing us than offering a bit of friendly information. If it hadn’t been recommended, we probably would have walked away after that. We ordered the fishball sandwich, which turned out mediocre at best. Maybe our expectations were too high, but it simply wasn’t memorable. On the plus side, the price level matches the quality – €4.60 feels fair. What really didn’t help was the number of pigeons walking around between the tables, which made it less than comfortable to enjoy the food. All in all, not a place we’d make an effort to return to.

Especially when it was snowing, it was a great atmosphere. They have a great beer bar and restaurant with very good flavors. They also make their own bread. There is quality music and beautifully decorated spaces. The winter garden and bar are magnificent. I highly recommend it.

We went here without any reservations and the staffs were very kind to give us the table!! We were super thrilled to see their huge ambiance and good vibes all around!! They also had terrace seating that was quite nice!! So coming to drinks and food, I think they have wide variety of beer options to choose from!! Even the beer tasters were very very impressive and I happened to also taste their fruity Belgian beer which was top notch! I like the detailing in their menu of how they have paired up different food with kinds of beer that would go well with them! I didn’t try a vegetarian option for food (Spinach Semmelknödeln) and it was really nice and in good portion! My friends also tried the same but with pork and they can vouch for the amazing taste as well! I did notice that the staffs left us unattended for quite sometime probably because it was a Saturday evening and completely rush hour!! All in all a great experience in Hamburg!

We didn’t go for food, we went for drinks and specially beer. They have a small tasting offer which you should try if you want to discover the beer types that they offer in the place. The staff was super friendly and they helped us with some hints to make a beer tasting. Price is fair and the place is huge with indoor and outdoor areas.

One of the best diner I've experienced in Hamburg so far. Athmosphere is calm and relaxing, empleyees are helpful and kind. There are so many beer options and you will difficultly choose yours. Helles was my favourite one. We ate cheeseburger and fish & chips. Burger was delicious. French fries were crunchy and tasted good. But I need to tell extra good for fish & chips. Crunchiness of the fish was perfect and meat was juicy enough and delicious. They have a big parking lot outside. Booking before going is adviced.

Very nice food ! I ordered the juicy battered chicken! It was very juicy and very nicely battered! Really good atmosphere and decoration and really close to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn station.

Amazingly good fish. Can be one of the best salmon I have ever eaten. The combination with gnocchi, truffle and leek, turned the dish into another level. Good pairing with a German white wine that I forgot the name of,and didn't take any picture of. The Lemon sherbet with vodka,was surprisingly refreshing,and the alcohol did not take over.

Very nice place, with a great view and vibe. The food was super delicious. We had pulpo, ceviche, codfish and another starter with tuna and beef. All were amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations helped us a lot. Definitely recommended

Really, really good restaurant. Quite expensive and some might even say, waaay too expensive... It is expensive and no Michelin stars here, but it is actually also quite good service. To be honest, our waiter was very slow to get "started up" but after "demanding his attention" a few times, he started to get the point and from there everything was great! The food tasted really good and seemed fresh. Even the oysters were fresh in taste and overall, great food experience!

Hidden gem in Hamburg. A must see if you are interested in ships. It was a cold evening when I visited, therefore had a drink inside. However, the open deck might be very nice on a sunny day. I recommend their house beer, was quite tasteful.

Asked for a nice view and was promised a lovely anniversary evening after making a reservation. We got sent to the lower deck with confusion as to why I was there at the lower deck! Even though another table was free on the upper deck ! Unbelievable the level of discrimination and disappointment says all and I see I was not the only one there with issues concerning this. Would not recommend to others.

I absolutely loved this place. I stayed for 3 nights in a quirky cabin with bunk beds! The restaurant was great and the staff were so friendly and hardworking. Different from your average hotel but an enjoyable experience for me. Definitely recommend

Won’t recommend to ethnically diverse people It was hardly a good experience however the 2 lovely waiters who take care of the seating at the lower deck is why I there are 2 starts and not 1. Made a reservation for a special occasion with a nice view and specially asked for this was told fine no problem. We get there a party of 4 and honestly have all gotten the feeling of being profiled as we were sent downstairs to sit instead of the upper deck though we specially asked for a nice view and after overlooking us a few times. Now we all saw a few tables open well on the main deck so the excuse of non being available is implausible. Being sent to the lower deck asking for an English Menü doesn’t even compare to the German one honestly biggest disappointment ever . Then the lovey young guys at the bottom ask us why aren’t we sitting upstairs funny how we had the same question. Either way they took amazing care of us and tried to make my father’s birthday as special as they could . I wont recommend it to anyone but if you do go forget the view and support the 2 lovely gentlemen who take care of the lower deck. The shrimp is amazing and the food was clearly prepared for us really with effort.

Awesome location to have a bite or drink. Nice view of the harbour. Too bad they stopped the Blue Monday Jazz nights. That was magical. Rooms are cozy and quite an experience. Don't book the normal rooms if you wanna cuddle ;)

Hamburg's famous fish place. Their dirty upgrade on chips is pretty delicious. The waiting time was 10-15 min. The fish is not so awesome but fresh. I recommend visiting once if you are a fish lover

In love with their sweet potato fries! It’s reaaally good!! It’s crispy but somehow tender as well.. well seasoned! Fried to perfection! We had it with truffle mayo dipping sauce, which was a great decision! Oh and their hotdogs (?) were tasty as well. We had the lax one (salmon) and the black tiger one. I like the black tiger one better.. the buns tho.. the buns win! It’s grilled to crispy but also soft and taste buttery and.. just good. But I’ll proly come again just for their sweet potato fries hahaha. And maybe try the fish and chips cause the fish looks really good in the picture. We came here around 6PM and was quickly seated, but when we left, we saw huge line.. soo, plan your visit maybe :). Anyhoo, overall really nice place with good food, nice and friendly service (they gave us a complimentary shot which was nice). Recommended!

We chose this place for dinner on a Sunday. The place wasn't too crowded; it was quiet. It has an industrial, slightly dim atmosphere. We tried the black tiger roll and fish and chips. Both were delicious. The fish and chips portion, in particular, was quite large. My only criticism is that the fries were a bit too salty. The roll, while delicious, was extremely difficult to eat. Everything inside starts to fall out the moment you bite into it. The service was friendly and quick enough. The portions were filling, and the prices were reasonable. I don't know if there was a special issue that day, but they didn't accept card payments. This is a bit confusing in our day and can be a significant drawback. Other than that, it's a positive place and worth trying.

The fish & chips were amazing! The fish was fresh, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The atmosphere is a bit casual, but enjoyable. The staff are warm and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy fresh seafood. Although it’s a bit far from the city center, it’s definitely worth the trip. They also have other branches in Hamburg that are worth trying as well.

This place left me really good vibes. The tiger pravn roll and fries were excellent. The dirty upgrade was hot, but not too much. The sweet chili dip the waiter recommended was also great. Fries were also excellent. The place resembles more like a bar than a restaurant with graffitis and industrial style. The waitress was very nice and was not hesitate to recommend the rolls. She also gave me a hint how to eat it (like a hot dog). Overall I felt very welcome, everything was so easy, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

I have been wanting to go to this beer garden for a while, and finally made it. But unfortunately I felt feeling like I didn‘t get the value for my money. We had a burger and a 5 bean chilli. The burger: was ok, tasted well, it was swimming in mayonnaise, but I guess that is a matter of personal taste. It was accompanied by a slaw, which also had a lot of mayonnaise, so altogether average. The 5-bean chilli was just an average bean soup, which you make at home. Its also ok, but not for €25 a portion. As a vegan I always look forward to try something new and creative when I eat out, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.

We orderd all the appetizers and were disappointed in how bland they were; really nothing special. We had looked at the main courses and found there were not a lot of choices. Sometimes that means that the ones they do have are very, very well made, but after our disappointing starters we didn't want to spend another €25 on something that could be just an ordinary burger or chili, so I cannot comment on the main courses . The desserts looked interesting, but when we tried to get some information on individual ingredients our server really had no clue and didn't bother to find out (example: what's the Waldmeister Panna Cotta made from? It's a cream that tastes like Waldmeister. We'll, duh.) I had really looked forward to dining @ Vegan Eagle, but the whole experience was less than satisfying; particularly given the prices and the fact that the restaurant isn't exactly centrally located.

Great atmosphere, don't forget to make a reservation before showing up, space is limited. I had the Jäger-Boulette, it was delicious. This was our second visit and both times the food has been great.

This is our second visit from the US to both Hamburg and this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed it the first time, so we came back for more and we're so glad we did. The food is absolutlely delicious. The flavor profiles they layer together work wonderfully. I had the Kürbis Gnocchi which is perfect and warming for a cold and rainy October day. The menu changes seasonally which is great to experience their different creations, so hurry in for the Gnocchi! The service is great, very attentive. The atmosphere is quaint and has a cozy feel.

Amazing vegan food! Location might not be so optimal for people that live more to the center of Hamburg but it is worth the ride! There is no other place like this in Hamburg. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy, the food is delicious, menu is quite simple but you won’t go wrong with any of the choices there are.

Met a friend here for dinner on Sunday evening. Beautiful venue, with wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and the food was really good. I will be back the next time I am in Hamburg.

This is the 2nd time we have been to the Lakeside. The 1st time we thought it was fantastic, so we wanted to give it a second try. This was absolute perfection, when everything comes together for an unbeatable evening. The food was brilliant, creative amd full of flavour. We frequent Michelin starred restaurants, and it is rare that all dishes are exceptional. This was the case yesterday. The wine pairing was also perfectly matching, with selections that weren't easy or obvious, but fitted beautifully with the meal. And then we have the service. Very friendly, smiley and very attentive without any glitch whatsoever. You could sense that all were on top of everything, simply perfect. In addition, the pace was very good, with no long wait times between dishes. We have tried many top end restaurants, also in Hamburg. I can genuinely say that the Lakeside stands out in Hamburg, far superior than other perhaps more renowned restaurants. We will be back, even if it means a 500 km trip from where we live. Congratulations to the Chef, Sommelier and the full staff! We were exceptionally happy with this evening!

This restaurant was good, but did not meet my expectations. I have been to fabulous restaurants all over the world, but this was disappointing for me. I have had much better meals at restaurants with much less accolades. If I was to describe this restaurant with one word it would be interesting, but not delicious or fabulous.

Oh, such a delicious food can bring you to heaven. In those seven courses out of small portions, there is such a variety of tastes, aroma of every dish is amazing, fresh ingredients, beauty and perfection. Food made with passion. I could feel it.

Perfect! A beautiful holiday menu from the Lakeside team with absolutely friendly service. Some of the dishes were truly unique, and classics like the lobster thermidor were taken to a new level of decadence. The restaurant design is calming and gives a sense of quality, homeliness and freedom - located in one of Hamburgs most beautiful hotels, we were lucky to have soft, live music from the bar downstairs. I would like to especially thank the sommelier for her friendliness, knowledge, and perfect recommendations of wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Well done!

Solid Italian style pizza. Pizza was quite good and the place is really cozy a perfect place for a date or a night out with friends. It is also possible to order out and take the pizza to the neighbourhood - which we did.

Best Brauerei ever!! Josh is so friendly and offered two of their best and limited edition beers. They microbrew them on the back of the restaurant. The food is scrumptious and filled with voracious flavours. Best vegan options.

Best Neapolitan Pizza outside of Naples. The dough was perfectly made with proper fermentation over several days. You can feel the slow fermentation creating a unique taste in the dough. The oven created a really fluffy but crispy edge. You can taste the quality of the flour they are using. The pizzas are topped with San Marzano tomatoes giving it this typical sweet fruity taste. Buffalo Mozzarella adds the unique intense taste for the cheese. In my preference the Mozzarella could have been charred a little more, maybe air circulation in the oven is not perfect. But that's just complaining on a very high level. I'll be back.

It was great to go there with the idea that alternative beers were being served. The result was better than the expectation. The ipa beers were one by one tasty beers. The atmosphere was great. The bartender took his time to talk and before I knew it I spent 3 hrs on my own at the bar without a moment to get bored. (Sorry to the bar lady who dropped cups of beer due to my abrupt move backwards)

This is a great place to have pizza and beer! This brewery makes several different beers. My favorite is the original Helles! Beer is a bit expensive, around 5 to 6 Euro per 500ml, however pizza is great. I'm a big fan of spicy food, and pizza Tante Picante 🌶 is quite spicy. I was going to give them 4 stars because it's been over 2 months since they don't have the beer tasting tray. however the service was so fast and so friendly that they made up for it. You can always book your table online, so you can make sure you get a spot. Corona rules are respected!

Delicious! We stumbled upon this place while walking around and we are so glad we tried it. It was one of my favorite meals while in Hamburg. Such a unique meal and so fresh and tasty. I had one spinach and one lemon knödel and along with the salad, it was the perfect meal. I also tried a Hugo for the first time and I fell in love with the drink. Our server was delightful and very patient to explain the menu to us in English.

This place is truly wonderful. 1) the dishes are pretty authentic yet innovative. 2) the display is simply beautiful 3) the taste is heavenly 4) the price is reasonable if you go for the lunch menu. Of course quality always has its price. The interior is beautiful and it feels cozy. While it may take some time before you get your food (it's freshly prepared), you can watch the chef go about his/her business in the kitchen. It's very transparent and very nice to watch. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good experience. Delicious food, and cozy atmosphere. The dessert was also amazing. There's not a lot of seating so it's better to reserve in advance if possible. Also I'd recommend it for smaller groups only or couples.

I was excited initially to go to Marend and try their schnitzel but to my disappointment this location didn’t have it on the menu. Nonetheless the food was pretty good but not outstanding. Service could have been better. We had to constantly ask for someone to come to our table when we wanted something and at one point all of the staff was outside on a cigarette break at the same time with no one left to attend to customers. Maybe try their other location instead

Stunning place! I'd like to give more than five stars, it was the best we visited that day!! Late coffee, cocoa even though everything had to be warmed again, the best service and company of Zachary - we loved that a lot. We'll be back definitely 💚

Michelin star in St Pauli is obviously an interesting proposition, not least when visiting an old neighborhood later in life. Hæbel is a small, intimate restaurant close to the street and featuring an open kitchen with New Nordic, German, French and Japanese inspirations. Menu consists in a choice between Fauna or Flora. As habit commands when visiting Michelin level places we chose Fauna. It appeared that a wine pairing option didnt exist but the wine card was quite decent for a place of this small size. However, problems began when we asked for recommendations since we did not know the menu. "Some like white, some like red, there will be fish in the beginning but if you like red you should go with red". Fair statement but it s not guidance expected at this supposed level of restaurant. Food concept is smallish servings that provide the chef a range to show off a bit while still giving a bit to both taste and chew. For us at least the food fare somewhat derailed. While the were moments of deliciousness especially in the seafood servings there were also the uninspired and a stumbling into the abyss. The absolute trough being sweetened lettuce on top of filled pasta !? Maybe there was a German reference we didnt get, and maybe some people with a certain childhood would experience a "Ratatouille moment" but we didnt get it. At 500eur for 2 incl drinks Hæbel was not a great sell, despite in the situational and inserted nostalgias

Flora or Fauna, that‘s the only question for you…and if you’d like to add the wine journey to your Michelin star experience. We had both and were served with in total (I guess) 11-12 courses of little specialities, delicious and interesting spoons (spoon refers to the tv show the taste). Although we had a nice evening and enjoyed good food with very polite and attentive service. But it was not exceptional and we were still hungry when we left the Hæbel. In general, it was an experience.

Absolutely amazing food and service. The head chef was really forthcoming about the process of creating the menu and each dish. Really enjoyed the overall ambience, great music, peaceful decor. Highly recommend and more than worth the price for the fauna tasting menu.

We dined at hæbel for the second time and enjoyed the food and the well-chosen wine pairing even more than last time. The service was very good. The only downside I would mention was the acoustic: The restaurant is relatively loud and the selection of music (a mix of 80ies hits) felt random in comparison to all the other tastefully curated details.

Incredible experience and excellent food. Everyone has the same seating time and each dish is served to the whole restaurant (only 14 or so seats) at the same time. The kitchen is open so you can see everything being prepared and this is half the fun. They offer two options: flora or fauna (which is just Veggie or Meat). We opted for the vegetarian option and it was excellent. The first dish was my partners favourite dish she's ever had. There's no menu provided, but that added to the experience, in my opinion and the chef or waiter explained each dish in detail when they brought it out. We arrived at 18:30 and were the first to leave at around 22:00, but others stayed to enjoy the rest of their wines, so it's certainly an evening's worth of entertainment. I believe we had about 10 courses, and with three glasses of wine in total (water is free, which isn't common in Germany) and tip, the bill came to 225 EUR for two people. (The vegetarian menu is 95 EUR and glasses of wine are around 7-11 EUR for '100ml' but our servings were certainly closer to 200ml). Be sure to book well in advance as they have long waiting lists. The photos just simply don't do the food justice, so be sure to visit and try it out for yourself.

Food was great! I had one dish regional from Hamburg, corned beef topped with two eggs and a herring and red beets 🫜 it was good! And also the next day had curry wurst with fries! Amazing! The Apple Strudel was good too!

Very popular with locals and visitors alike but didn't have to wait for a table for one. Indoor & street seating. Authentic German cuisine at excellent prices. Well worth the short walk from the Hbf and plenty of St Georg bars to try on the way back. Had the Bratkartoffeln mit Rührei - so lecker and great portion size. Went back later during my stay for more! Cash only - no credit cards!

The best schnitzel ever! This place has such a fun atmosphere and many people seem to love this pub style restaurant. The staff was friendly and the portions were big! The only minus is that its so populär you have to wait some time…

This review is based on two breakfasts and one dinner (totally three visits). The breakfasts were tasty and the portions were very satisfactory. I had XXL currywurst for dinner, which was also tasty. The location is very nice, Lange Reihe is a beautiful street. The service is good, the staff is kind and fast.

Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Hamburg. Thoroughly enjoyed the schnitzel with holendaise sauce. Atmosphere felt a little old world and cozy. Staff was friendly and didn't make me feel bad for not speaking German.

Centrally located. In walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof. This restaurant is somewhat of an institution in Hamburg. Here, you find german cuisine like Labskaus and hearty stews. It gets busy for their lunch specials. I came for breakfast.

Simple and good German food. The staff were kinda in a rush all the time, that’s why they didn’t seem particularly welcoming, but that’s fine. However, the food came super quickly and paying was fast as well. There were a lot of people inside the pub at the time we ate there so it was quite loud

Their service mentality, food, ambience, they obviously deserve to hear nothing but only good things. We tried 21 days dry aged Irisches Weiderind and Rumpsteak, chief prepared my steak just as I demanded; medium rare. It was perfect cooked! Irisches was with a bit more fat percentage a bit more delicious by the way. Grilled Green pepper were delicious as well and were a perfect companion to steak. French fries were crunchy enough. We drank Pinot Noir and Malbec as per Claudia's recommendation, Malbec was spicy and strong enough which perfectly fits to my taste. All the waiters and waitresses can speak perfect English btw. Ambience was crowded but not too loud, it was such a cozy and clean Restaurant. Definitely we will be back, Thank you and conguratulations for great job!

Negative experience. Confusion over having a drink before dinner seating, caused the staff to stress. They encouraged us to try their fresh chimichurri, which was brown, stale and simply not chimichurri. Maybe their version of it, and it wasn’t fresh or tasty. Piemento Padron were over cooked and lost their color. The bottle of wine we ordered arrived at the table after our food, and was already opened. We tried it. It was completely off. Clearly it had been sitting out, opened and exposed to heat. They brought another that I had to ask to be opened at the table - as it should be. This is basic stuff. The final slap was the rat trap we noticed less than half a meter from our table. Steak was great, but presentation completely absent. Not worth it. Pretty awful dining experience.

Had the pleasure of visiting estancia steaks during a hot summer day. They have a nice seating area outside, which fits a decent amount of people. The tartare looked a bit oxidized visually, but was very tasty. The beef was ordered rare but was probably closer to a medium rare. The sear is great and gives it that umami flavor. Overall a very good spot and I understand the popularity of the place.

An Unforgettable Birthday Dinner at Estancia Steaks! I celebrated my birthday at Estancia Steaks in Hamburg, and it was an experience to remember! I disagree with some of the previous reviews regarding the pricing. I find this restaurant very reasonably priced for the level of quality, service and ambiance. I absolutely love this restaurant!!! The food quality is outstanding, and the service is incredible. Claudia and her team provide service that is fantastic. The ambiance is great as well. Do not pass up the chance to eat here. I ate here twice in one week while attending a conference in Hamburg.

Great personal service and affordable steaks! Prime rib was tasty and worth the buy. Prices are very reasonable. The lamb steak comes very lean and has no fat. This suggests to cook it medium rare at the most. The cream spinach is worth it! It pairs well with the lamb. Red wine selection is acceptable and the Australian Shiraz is worth pairing with the steaks.

Brilliant atmosphere with delicious food. We could not get enough of everything. Hope we'd see you soon but Hamburg is a vast ocean waiting to be discovered. With love and respect

The Block House was incredible! I had the Master Cut Ribeye and it was absolutely mouth-watering — cooked perfectly and so flavorful 🤤 The drinks were great, the service was on point, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Such a great spot to enjoy a nice meal and relax. Definitely recommend if you’re in Germany! 🥩🍷✨

The service was excellent, and all the problems we faced were resolved promptly with the help of the staff. The tenderloin met my expectations and was prepared exactly the way I ordered it. My wife, on the other hand, received a steak with a few too many sinewy parts to leave her fully satisfied.

I definitely recommend this restaurant! It was a nice surprise in Hamburg. The bread and the dip were quite good! Then I ate the fish and it was amazing! However the pasta disappointed a bit. The risotto and the tuna were also pleasant choices! All the dishes brought agreeably flavour mixes sensations, so it was good to try different dishes compared to the usual ones.

We order the course dinner but the 3tier presentation for the respective course was nice but not practicable as the food gets cold while we take time to finish. Would prefer the conventional way of serving. Appertiser; tuna tartare was good . Oyster was not clean well as it was still sandy. For the main, tuna and salmon was a bit dry. Dessert :Tiramisu was good .

So glad I returned to this very friendly and charming neighbourhood restaurant after 10 years, only wish it had not been so long. Very attentive and jovial service and a fabulous variety of fresh fish but deciding what to have was a difficult choice! Prawns, Bouillabaisse, oysters, halibut, sea bass, tuna, salmon, sea bream, pike-perch! Very glad I opted for the prawns, they were sublime, some of the best I have experienced. Followed by a mountain of aromatic mussels all washed down with copious quantities of wine - the list much improved from my previous visit. Altogether excellent value for money and definitely worth the 20 minute bus ride from the centre(Bus 6 or 17 from around the Hauptbahnhof). Highly recommended if you enjoy fish sympathetically prepared.

(Last visited 12/1/2023.) It speaks volumes of a certain restaurant when I've been to this part of the world 2 times and have eaten here 3 times. Liman truly blew us away with our first experience so we came back again and again. Here's why... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is set in Hamburg, but a little further away from the hustle & bustle of downtown in more of a residential section, but still busier than a suburb. Reservations are recommended, but whenever we came here it never seemed busy. The inside is very modern, chic, contemporary, upscale and laid back. It was quiet and just made for a great place I would love to hang out in. Service: Apart from the food, Alice, our server was another reason we kept on coming back. She was truly amazing. She was sweet, funny, personable, made great recommendations and just had an addictive personality. Food: We've tried everything from the filet mignon, to the salmon, to the mixed grill, a series of desserts, pulpo, scallops, you name it. They never missed. This place specialized in seafood, hence its name and it nailed every single dish. My wife literally dreamt about the salmon with the pea foam or whatever it was after the first time she had it. Then the dessert! I could go on and on, but I won't since I only have so many characters to use. The food is exquisite... that's why we kept on coming back. Value: It's a seafood restaurant. Enough said. It's going to be expensive, but not suit & tie-dinner jacket required type of expensive. Bring your wallet regardless because you're going to want everything on the menu. Lol. You can guess my conclusion. Although, our friend Alice no longer works there, the food will still keep us coming back over and over to try more things on the menu every time we're in Hamburg. Lovely atmosphere and very good quality of cusine. We came here spontaneously for late Luch and didn't regret it. Owner is very friendly person.I had for my luch Grilled Dorade with Ratatouille and Truffle potatoes. Ratatouille is the best one wich I had in Germany this year. I think the secret is roasted bell papper and tomato for sauce. Taste of vegetable is so intense. So my fish was GRILLED perfectly and not loaded with salt. Very often in Germany quantity of salt to high and this is a big problem. Here everything was top. You dint need be warrid about quality. Top.Pasta with lobster was choosen by my husband. He say sause/ jus was very creamy and delicious. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente .Portions ideal for French people. Due very hot day we skipped desserts Facit :we definitely will come again.

This is a prime example of fake " fine dining" without any real skill or technique. Flashy Churchill plates and stuffy ambiance made to disguise sub par ingredients and inadequately prepared food. We started off with the prawns. The sauce was very nice..creamy, slightly spicy and seasoned just right, the prawns were standard frozen Argentinian red prawns that most restaurants use (the logic of buying frozen shrimp while being less than 100km from the north sea is beyond me) . Definitely not overcooked but a bit chewy as a consequence of the freezing. A promising start nonetheless. We ordered 2 mixed grill fish plates which lacked imagination and were utterly bland and boring, zero salt..zero pepper.The skin was soggy which isn't really acceptable for a restaurant specialized in fish cookery? Mashed potatoes were lumpy and dense and the mangold (chard) completely unseasoned. What a shame

Soups were interesting and tasty. The main dishes were not so good: eggs with Krabben were overdone; Labskaus was standard. The atmosphere and service were ok, but nothing special. And for all of this the price was too high...

This is a place, if you want to taste authentic north-german food. My wife and I ordered the Hamburg Eel Soup, "Lange Anna" and Pickled Young Herring ala Helgoland. 1. Lange Anna : Flaky texture of the fish fillets. The sauce was so smooth. The cheesy and creamy flavour profile of the sauce were perfect for cold days. The basmati rice was a superb side dish to soak up the sauce. 2. Pickled Young Herring ala Helgoland : The three different sauces were the highlights of this dish. This was an acquired taste for foreign tourists though. However, this was one of the iconic dishes of North Germany. 3. Hamburg Eel Soup : The acidic taste of the soup brightened the fishy aroma. However, the restaurant could work on taste of the eel in the future. The strong freshwater aroma, especially from the skin and fat layer of the eel pieces somewhat disturbed. Slightly bigger, more eel pieces or using smoked eels instead of the fresh one could have accentuated this dish better.

Great restaurant in a beautiful location. Crayfish soup was very interesting, different to other crayfish soups I’ve had in my life - more creamy and filling rather than bouillon style. Pannfisch was absolutely delicious, the same as Lange Anna. The portions were also filling and enough. The staff was super friendly and smiley, all in all we absolutely loved it there. :)

I expected more to be honest. The burgers tasted very good. No denying that. The patties were juicy and cooked according to our preference. But I was not satisfied with the portion size and felt it was expensive for that. The iced tea we tried wasn’t special. A famous burger chain in Germany with somewhat the same concept felt better.

I had the BBQ Hamburger along with the Dulf's De Javu cocktail, and both were absolutely fantastic! The burger was juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced with that smoky BBQ taste. The cocktail was creative, refreshing, and paired so well with the meal. The atmosphere at Dulf's Hamburger is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy high-quality food and drinks. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a delicious burger experience.

Dulf’s Burger is definitely a strong candidate for the best burger in Hamburg 🍔🔥. There’s not much to say — you simply have to try it yourself. The juicy patty with melted cheese on top takes the burger to another level 🤤🧀. The seasoning is perfectly balanced, and the patty keeps its juiciness in an amazing way. The buns are fresh and nice, but to make this burger a full 10/10, I’d wish for bread baked with the right sourdough — that would take the taste experience even higher 🌟. I also tried the Mac & Cheese, but unfortunately it wasn’t that impressive. Still, my focus was the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the BBQ burger 🍖, and the portion size was more than enough. If you’re not super hungry, you can even share or go for fewer patties (my friend had the 3–4 patty option). We had to wait a little bit, but that’s only because the place is so popular and busy. One small minus: it would have been nice to have paper towels in the restroom 🧻🚻. Overall, this place is currently my favorite burger spot in Hamburg, and I highly recommend trying it 🙌.

Decent burger place but I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a great burger experience. I got the burger with a beef patty and pulled pork on top. What sounds absolutely delightful was fairly underwhelming. The burger was pretty bland (I think no salt, barely any grill flavor), and it was ridiculously messy (no real critic on this one because it's okay to be messy sometimes). The fries were really good though, but unfortunately the truffle mayo was terrible. Surely just some generic stuff you can get at the supermarket. The staff was friendly, but they seemed to be extremely busy whilst being inefficient imho (I worked in gastronomy as well so I notice some inefficiencies). Overall, it's a decent burger you can get here. I wouldn't necessarily come back but maybe that's just because I have really high expectations.. idk.

Outside seating was cosy and comfortable, service was welcoming and spoke good English, food was hot and delicious — fries were fresh and crunchy and the schlabbi burger was a good balance of flavours. Lotus cheese was really sweet but tasty — maybe need more than 2 pax to tackle it. Would definitely recommend for a hearty meal!

Dulf Burger is a great place. I sat outside, atmosphere was quiet nice. The staff and service were great. I had the goat cheese burger, really liked it. If you happen to like a subtle, yet a bit intense, cheese taste on your burger, go for the goat cheese. Surely this isn’t a very budgetary place but occasionally it might be worth trying it.

The atmosphere was wonderful. Since I was alone, making a reservation was a bit difficult, but when I asked the hotel for help, they arranged it for me. I ordered the 5-course menu, and each dish was more delicious than the last. The meal ended perfectly with dessert. My server, Suna, was very attentive and provided excellent service.

Food was fabulous. Service was fantastic. We did the omakase menu and it didn’t disappoint. The ceviche was out of this world. The only point of issue was, sometime the music was a little techno-club like and too loud for our tastes. At other times, the music was great.

I had an incredible evening at NIKKEI NINE! The atmosphere is elegant and stylish, with a warm and welcoming vibe that makes the experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food was outstanding. The wagyu was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly prepared, and the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The sake selection was amazing too — it paired so well with the dishes and elevated the whole meal. Service was professional, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. Basically the restaurant is very nice , the food ambiance also and the cuisine fabulous . The service at first was nice but the waitress who serve us was very hyperactive , bit rude , a manner was so difficult it was like we have an issue with her and she did not take the time to ensure that everything was okay with our table , she let the table dirty sometimes , she make us very uncomfortable . And you can not serve in that type of restaurant and you spill the wine when you serve . I wanted to ask to change the waitress but they are all very busy. Actually am in the restaurant and I recommand the restaurant but this waitress’s was one of the worst I ever seen . So the waitress was from indian subcontinent. She absolutely need to change her habits service and for sure be more pleasant. I can not spend like 505 euros to be treated badly, to feel uncomfortable sorry. It’s not croyable from a five star hotel . To give us the bulle she said « I have now to give you the bill » our reservation ended at 9:30 , without any please .

Great place to enjoy classic north German cuisine. Super nice and stylish setting in the cellar below the town hall. Emphasis on the traditional holstein kitchen, just like your mutter 😋 would have made it. Good beers and wines. Reasonable pricing.

We went on a Friday evening - early - and got a table for two without any problems. We had delicious cocktails to start with (there are Happy Hour specials). The server was very attentive and the service very quick. We can really recommend the schnitzel (thin and fried to perfection) and the plaice (crispy whole fish - delicious). All in all an excellent meal, though on the pricey side. If you want to have top quality and pay less, go at lunchtime. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner!

Note that the entrance is not inside the main building; it's a door that faces the street. We had the curry sausage, which was very good but might be spicy for some. The spice is in the sprinkle and the sauce, so you can easily avoid it by mainly just eating the sausage. It comes with enough chips/fries to feed an army. It also came with an appetizer of bread.

I just went for drinks after doing a 10 km walk around the city. I didn’t have food but had a couple of drinks. The place is neat, excellent service and a little loud to the number of people dining. Location is perfect. Crowd is a little bit older. Prices are a bit on the mid to higher side.

What a fantastic place to be while visiting in Hamburg. Wonderful taste of unique dishes, cozy and quiet atmosohere and great service, topped with fine wine selection. Marinated halibut and poultry consomme were our absoulte best choices, but all other dishes were great as well. If you want to choose one restaurant for a dinner in Hamburg, choose this one!

Service is great but the vibe is a bit too clubby and slick for what I had imagined "Heimat" would be like. Let's start with what was delicious - their bread is amazing as is the dessert I ordered (a chocolate mousse with marinated strawberries). Plus their wine by the glass program is terrific. I was underwhelmed by their wurst salad and their spinach ravioli. Unfortunately, they also have very limited and unappealing outside seating options - opposite the huge Hafen City construction site🫤

The food was simply amazing, very tasteful and well presented. The wine was also tasty, I would have expected more options thought. What could dramatically improved was service, the staff were not friendly and attentive. They seemed just running from here and there and it was pretty hard to have their attention. I’d go back there again and I hope the service will be improved.

A little late, but I have to leave a review, because the food was amazing. The only thing that could have been better was the brightness of the dining area, because it was very dark. But everything else was so good, we really didn't mind. The waiters even ran after us with our Philharmonia tickets that we left at the table. Thank you so much!

Yesterday, my husband and I went here for dinner. We walked past and it smelled so incredibly good that after our walk, we decided: let’s grab something to eat here. You can sit nicely outside by the street — which is exactly what we did. The menu offered an enormous variety of dishes. I chose the chicken tikka masala, and my husband went for the chicken curry madras. Our food arrived within five minutes! (Felt like five minutes). My dish was served in a cast-iron pan. And most importantly: it tasted absolutely amazing. I also tried a bite of my husband’s dish, and it was just as delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our servers, who had tattoos and a bun, was extremely kind and happily suggested dishes we should try next time (I asked for his advice). When we went to pay, another server brought us two small orange shots. When I mentioned that I was pregnant, he thoughtfully brought me a glass of mango juice instead. My husband really enjoyed the shots and I loved the mango juice. It was such a sweet gesture. In short: fast and friendly service, truly amazing food. A solid 11/10!

Avoid at all costs. Without doubt the worst food I've ever had anywhere, let alone Hamburg. Poppadoms were the worst Ive ever had. Like plastic discs. Stale and oily. Then coerced into having two mixed starters which we didn't want which were plain awful. Then the main course. Every single one of us in a group of 9 could not eat it. Chicken had a very strange texture and looked very dark under the sauce. Reminiscent of pigeon. When we complained, waiter argued and said they were best restaurant in Hamburg. We disagreed and asked for the bill. Then 3 waiters removed the food and whole doing so asked if we wanted to take it away with us. Not a chance. When he brought the bill out, there was no consideration for our disappointment and the waiter even had the audacity to ask us to tip him. We did. The tip was to close their doors and not serve anyone ever again. Disgusting. You have been warned.

The place hit me with a wall of spice the second I walked in — not subtle, just confidently loud. You could practically taste the cumin in the air. The table turned into a little chaos of color: bright yellow rice with pomegranate, curries bubbling like they had stories to tell, and grilled paneer looking way too proud of its smoky edges. The food? Bold, messy, and kind of brilliant. The dal had this earthy punch that didn’t ask for approval, and the paneer curry was pure comfort — buttery, spiced, a little over the top, like it knew exactly what it was doing. The mango lassi slid in smooth and cheerful, clearly the peacekeeper in the mix. The beer? A crisp “why not” that tied it all together. What really sold it though were the people. The staff had that easy warmth — they joked, they chatted, they actually seemed to enjoy being there. It gave the place a pulse. Not everything was perfect — a bit too salty here, a slight wait there — but it had personality. The kind of meal that doesn’t need to be flawless to be worth remembering. P.S. TL;DR: unapologetic flavors, genuine vibes, slightly chaotic but all heart — and honestly, that’s the fun of it.

Visiting on a uni trip my friends and I landed here. The service was very friendly and fast, we did not speak German, but that was no problem for the server. Food was typical Indian with the choice of spice levels. Near the end of our evening some of our teachers also arrived at the restaurant. We wanted to surprise them with an extra spicy appetizer, we asked if we could do this and the server happily played allone and even made sure they got something extra spicy for a reduced price! Overall it was a pleasant experience, good and a lot of food, friendly staff, cozy spot. Would come again.

We had one of our best time in this restaurant and there are many nice things to talk about this restaurant 😍 It was our first visit in this restaurant and the moment we entered inside the restaurant, they gave us warmed welcome and we sit on the table and service person came and he known Indian languages and German language too. We were asking him about food, their menus and about restaurant. He guided us very nicely and we ordered food according to our choices and budget. Foods were so tasty and delicious 🤤 After we had our meal and they gave us Shahi Tukda and some shots 🥺😍 As you all can see photos in attached pictures. And luckily we also met owners of this restaurant 😍 They were so Kind and humble towards us. And we talked with them and everybody were familiar with guests choices. Overall our experience was so satisfying and worthy. We also clicked pictures with their staffs and they were also friendly and Humble. Thank you so much all guys for wonderful hospitality.

Really really nice. Great atmosphere - but most important - one of the best Indian meals i have ever had. The tandoori chicken was outstanding. Moist and spicy. Made on the chicken breast and legs on bone each bite was tender and tasteful. The bread fresh and fluffy. The chutneys nice and spicy. Very very recommended.

WOW! That’s the only way I can describe this place. I’m living since long in Hamburg and this became my new favorite restaurant! The menu was delicious and all the little additional bites we got from the kitchen made it even better! Service, view, food all unbeatable! Definetly recommend

Gin was the nicest waiter! He made the whole dinner experience 100 times better. Food was delicious! Specially the lobster starter and the ceviche. 100% recommend!

Great location on elbe River, pretty fancy location replicating the container area and with a nice view on the maritime station. The food is nice with great presentation in spite the taste might be a little bit upgraded to be really super top, I assume of they would make it they might get something lore than a mention in the michelin guide. The service is good, precise and kind in spite might be consistent overall the whole evening. If you want to impress someone than this might be your place.

It was an absolute highlight. Location is beautiful. Service outstanding and the food a fine experience of different flavors. My favorites “pulp carpaccio” and the dessert “blueberry cheesecake” it is way more than you expect.

Great foods and great suggestion of wines and liquors. Espresso martini and gin are really good. Foods are also good. We had tartar beef and yellowfin as starters and fried whole fish and deep fried prawns. The only thing I cannot give 5 stars is waiting time for food.

We did not enjoy Au Quai/Am Kai at all. In fact its one of our worst experiences of “fine dining”. Lets start with the food. We took the tasting menu which consisted of 5 dishes: 2 starters, 2 mains and a dessert. The starters (“amuse gueule” and the yellowfin tuna) were not bad. In fact we later dound out they were the best part of the meal. From there we got to the bouillabaisse - that dish was way too salty, with a broth that we could not eat. 5 pieces of fish (one of each kind) and thats it. We left it as is. The other starter was the cod. While the cod was presented nicely (picture attached) it lacked any taste whatsoever. Tasted quite dull. The jerusalem artichoke creme and fennel were also very salty. We ate it only because we were hungry. The dessert was a chocolate fondant. Not different to the one you would get in the local italian restaurant. Average by all means. From here we go to the service: - Not taking plates after theyre finished and bringing in new plates. - Water pitcher that was left empty and on the table for 30 minutes before someone took it. - Waiters unorganized, we got the desserts menu despite us ordering a tasting menu. - Napkin that was taken from my wife (maybe it was dirty?) and not returned - so she used mine for the rest of the bill. - 10 minutes to wait for the bill after sitting in the restaurant for 3 hours (theres a long waiting time between the dishes). And to top it all of, I have never ever been in a restaurant that charges €8 for water and its not even bottled! Came out of a “beer tap” into a pitcher. Filtered water? Not sure. The only bright side of the night was the bartender, the only person in the team that identified thing’s proactively and made it a little less terrible experience. Paying €200 for the food and service is not justifiable. You ruined my wifes birthday. Dishes that are presented nicely is not enough, they need to taste good as well. Will not return!

Had dinner here and LOVED the vibe. Service was warm and welcoming and the food was good - menu is a bit limited but the burrata was delicious and the yogurt panna cotta with strawberries was very good. It was a bit rainy so I couldn't sit outside. I imagine on a sunny day, dining outdoors would be sublime.

I don't know what happened with this cafe lately, it used to be a lovely place with a nice staff. Been there last week (as a couple) and got completely ignored by the staff for about 10 minutes while waiting to be seated. They passed around us. No greeting, no "please wait a bit" or anything. It wasn't during busy time, most tables were empty. Tried twice. Went away after 15 Min. waiting. Heard from a friend the same happened to them. I wonder what is wrong? Used to be a nice place.

Wonderful dinner at Wasserschloss in Hamburg! Beautiful historic setting by the canals, lovely fresh fish dishes, and a great selection of wines and teas. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere — perfect place to enjoy fine food in one of Hamburg’s most charming spots.

Tourist Trap Location: It is great with view and calm in the city. Food: We are disappointed with the quality of food, the bakeries are too sweet, and the scones are not fresh, unfortunately nothing special. Tea: The waiter are not able to tell us more about the difference tea in the menu Not Value for money: The small tray in the picture was for three person, cost 77,70 euro. Cleanliness: Food debris on heater/floor It is more a scam for tourist.

We dropped in on a Thursday afternoon for a hot chocolate but the smell from the kitchen made us hungry, so we went for baked feta cheese on cucumber pineapple salad and Kaiserschmarrn. Both dishes were incredibly rich and tasted so good, we wanted to have another one. Simply, the hot chocolate closed our stomachs. The atmosphere is a bit rustique and inspiring at the same time - the floor is made of cobblestones in the basement. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We recommend it not only for tea but you should definitely also have a look into the adjacent tea shop!

We’ve been here several times, and all the time we were seated outside. This time wanted to take our guests for a beer or two. Unfortunately they were serving only inside. Giving 5* because they were nice explaining why they were not serving outside and because of our past experience. It’s really nice and picturesque bar/restaurant. Will try my luck again 😁

A chef restaurant offering a “menu” at a reasonable price, though it is relatively limited. Service is inconsistent and generally quite cold. Some dishes were excellent, but the soup lacked flavor. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and the place has the feel of an institution. Overall, the service could use improvement, but considering the price, it’s a solid option.

We ordered the full menu and we were gladly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was very helpful all night with appropriate times between dishes, and not feeling pressured even though we spent more than 2h in the restaurant.

We stopped by in the late afternoon — simply because I was in the mood for a good ol’ fried fish. And what can I say? Mission accomplished. Crispy, flavorful, just right. The remoulade sauce was spot-on, and the potato salad? Solid. Nothing spectacular, but it held its ground. The view is lovely, the atmosphere laid-back, and the prices are what you’d expect in Hamburg — not cheap, but fair. The entire ordering process is digitalized, which is fine in theory. But here’s the catch: you’re prompted for a tip straight away, even though no one’s actually taken your order. The service is pretty hands-off, and for someone who’s worked decades in hospitality, it leaves a slightly strange aftertaste. That said, when a staff member did swing by the table, they were friendly and professional. All in all, tasty food and a nice spot. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Nice place to visit during sunny summer days.. It is easy to take the boat from city center (boat is in every 20-30 minutes during weekend).. After a boat trip around half an hour you are there.. Nice streets in the village takes you to the beach.. Not very convenient for swimming because the rocky ground at the lake.. Nice place for the kids to play in the sand... I took a pizza there.. Was not very deliciois but pizza is pizza :)

I would say this one is pretty Epic! I guess the most recognisable place on the beach in Hamburg! Great location a bit further from a downtown. They offer plenty options of drinks and food! Incredibly beautiful views, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices! It’s definitely a Hidden Gem in the City!

A must go to when in Hamburg, despite of London like prices and not exactly a gourmet temple. But the views, service and atmosphere are great.

Slow service but a beautiful view makes up for it. The staff is very nice though. They charge 50 cents for the toilet, which is a bit odd considering they have a table service.

A great place to chill and do the vesselwatching. Cargo ships, cruise liners, duty boats. Amazing. You can enjoy a cup of coffee, or a beer in a cafe. Some nice snacks too. Could be crowded at the weekends. The only thing to mind: the sand could be quite dirty and, which is dangerous, with pieces of broken glass. So one should take care.

We ate here as a break from a long walk and were attracted to the large number of people at the restaurant. Unfortunately, despite the friendly and attentive service, the food simply was not what we had hoped for. I ordered the Rump steak fried in breadcrumbs with mustard, medium. The steak was cooked well but it was simply not a good cut of meat. Without being chewy, there was very little tenderness. The mustard seasoning had also destabilised the coating while the whole meal was somewhat salty. As can be seen in the images, the fried potatoes have a deep yellow discolouration indicative of old oil and were well salted upon arrival. The baked potato was drowned in sour cream and, again, the potato itself had a poor taste. The mushrooms were the highlight of the baked potato dish, sadly the Turkey pieces were tough and heavily seasoned. The small salad was good, very fresh and well put together. Other small touches added to our frustration such as lemon being added to the water glasses without first being asked. Also, we ordered a large bottle of evian but were served a jug of water of unknown source and volume and advised that the bottle they have in the kitchen is 'too large' so they pour it into a jug. Overall, our experience at the restaurant was not overtly negative due to the staff. We opted not to discuss our eating experience with them when asked due to how busy the restaurant was with other patrons and not wishing to enter a discussion about the food. Perhaps our experience is not in line with the other reviews but we were ultimately disappointed with the food we had.

The restaurant has a long history and a very cozy interior. The location is great, with walking distance to Hafencity or the Rathaus, and Neuer Wall. The food is very traditional for northern Germany and the signature dishes are the same that you will find in other, old Hamburg restaurants. Due to the location, I would think mostly tourists visit the restaurant, which doesn’t mean it has to be bad. In fact, the service is superior to many upscale restaurants in Hamburg - the waiting staff genuinely care about your experience. We tried the spicy pumpkin cheestnut soup, the traditional Christmas green cabbage with sausage and pork, and the signature pannfisch dish. All the food was tasty and we think the prices were fair. The food is good, but nothing you will remember or long to come back to. The atmosphere is good, apart from very loud music (live tracks with Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash… not particularly fitting for the venue and quite annoying in a restaurant). A good place for a lunch and a beer.

It was a surprise. I was just looking around for a place to eat and this particular place just took my attention. Very cozy, candles were lit for more cosiness and the attendant was very warm and helpful. There were mentioning s I'm English and the food was spectacular. Goat cheese with salad was super tasty and the local cosine was good as well. It seems to be a centenary place hence a must go place. The cost was as expected.

I liked it pretty much. I don't remember exactly why). The food was quite decent and beer was as it needs to be. Fish and potatoes in the Northern German way are much better than their British "relative"), I mean, fish& chips. But the most joy was the view. You can take a round table next to the window and look around while sipping your beer. You can even go outside to terrace right on the water. Life is good when you get it slowly, people say.

Traditional Hamburg food! Went on a walking tour and our guide told us about how schnitzel is more southern Germany and in Hamburg, they eat fish (makes sense since they are by so much water). This restaurant was on the road where the guide said you'll find traditional Hamburg dishes and where locals like to eat. Food was delicious and the service was so friendly. Kind to foreigners and spoke English very well. Great outside seating area with umbrellas which made the temperature great! 🍴Hamburg Pan Fried fish fillets (white fish & salmon) with mustard sauce and fried potatoes

Small, quaint cafe primarily serving the Swabian classic spätzle - their version of pasta. Seating for about 30 and the place filled up by 2pm. I had a cheese spätzle with bacon and onions. It came with a small salad as well. Portions are quite big - I have a large appetite and could only finish half of my very hearty dish. Lots of drink options, I had an herbal lemonade called Almdudler that was delicious and refreshing. Service was casual and friendly. No English menu available but servers spoke it just fine. Highly recommended for lunch!

My favorite spot in Hamburg, been coming here for nearly 10 years bringing colleagues and business guests. Great swabian food, quick and good service, good prices. It's been getting more popular and space is tight but usually they make it work.

I tried the spätzle here and was pleasantly surprised! The combination of tender spätzle with the peppery arugula and crumbly parmesan was a flavor explosion. And the spätzle with the juicy schnitzel reminded me of home cooking. The nice atmosphere and great service rounded out the positive experience. I recommend it to all spätzle lovers!

I ate here on a workday and I really wanted to enjoy the food, but the woman working there was talking really badly about the different customers eating there. Just little mean comments about their clothes and so on. I didn't catch her talking about me, but I didn't feel good about my experience. Food was good but a bit pricey for the quality delivered.

We tried the 5 course menu (vegetarian and regular) and was impressed by the bold seasoning, fresh ingredients, and thoughtful presentation. Every dish felt like a small journey. One minor thing was that the tagliatelle was not „al dente“ but the restaurant was open to that feedback and served an alternative. Service was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the concept. The wine pairings were spot-on and added depth to the experience. Please be aware that Salt&Silver has a bistro and restaurant. If you're looking for something beyond the ordinary, Salt&Silver delivers. Highly recommended!

We had 3 comments for our experience. 1st, this is the only restaurant that I walked out still hungry (I am 50kg in weight, imagine the portion size); 2nd when there is 3 times friendly feedbacks about the portion size, the waitress start to say this is quality, creation etc not comparing to fast/cheap food (more or less original words she said), after we commented about there are fine dining restaurants which have either more courses or bigger portions. The response is may be;(EVEN on the menu, they say if you want more, let us know) They only want to KNOW ! 3rd the restaurant is unable to define what cuisines they serve (details look at photos) even the taste was ok

Wow. What an absolutely fantastic meal with the Salt&Silver Hamburg team. With high expectations we sauntered to this lovely restaurant for a birthday meal and we were not let down. The omnivore menu and wine pairing hit the spot. Not a single dish was made unwelcome. Several new wines discovered and a great deal of delectable food, what a bargain. I can't recommend this wonderful spot enough. We shall return as soon as possible!

Exceptionally delicious Latin American food! All the dishes were outstanding and the service was amazing! The set menu is rather small, which makes it very easy to choose and easy to accommodate to vegetarians or pescatarians. Will definitely come back again!

Delightful fusion and signature creations of Latin American cuisine. We had the 5 course menu, and tried to taste as many different dishes as possible. Most of the dishes felt like an explosion of taste which we love about trying creative cuisines like this. The staff are very professional and friendly as we expected. The service was quick, and every course was explained thoroughly. P.S. we only tried the winter menu, I learned that they have a summer menu as well, so we’ll probably be back to test that later in summer.

Had a great experience at the Salt & Silver Latin America restaurant! To start it off, we had some of the best pisco sours we have ever tasted. Each course was not just very delicious, but also beautifully arranged with amazing colors and textures. The fish dishes were probably my favorite, but I must say, the vegetarian dishes were out of this world as well. The service was so friendly and helpful as well which really improves the overall dining experience! Overall we had a great time here and can definitely recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Hamburg!

Amazing food. Beautiful presentation. I really liked that the tables were far apart from each other, providing a feeling of privacy. Service waa outstanding, smiling,professional and attentive servers. The entree is served to the table by one of the chefs.The lobster soup waa absolutely delicious, with chunks of lobster. Entree waa the "Geschnetzeltes from Rind. The beef waa tender and tasteful with just enough mushrooms. Can't wait to eat there again.

To be honest I was quite disappointed with it. The food was okay, some dishes were outstanding some were okay and the dessert was a massive disappointment. We had the Wehmanns menu. The main dish was Iberico and it was incredible delicious, the dessert was some poached peach covered in Zabaoine with some colored Pistachio ice cream. I think especially in a restaurant with this reputation making a ice cream with food coloring that it looks approachable for kids like smurf ice cream is just not good enough. Also the dessert generally didn’t taste good at all. Service was nothing to complain about. Always nice and with the wine recommendations they even looked that the price was okay and we ended up paying 36 per bottle of rose. We paid 977 for 5 people with menus, almost everybody made adjustments to the menu due to dietary restrictions or taste. This was one of the best service regarding this I have ever experienced.

We had a large group for business dinner with various dietary restrictions and food preferences. The restaurant understood our quite challenging request and had a perfect menu for us all with amazing taste. Wine list was on another level. Can trust them to pair with food. We had a great time there.

The vegan menu was a complete disappointment. It failed to bring out the flavor and texture of all the ingredients. Especially the beetroot dish was canned texture and full of sauce. I'm angry that I spent four full hours trying to eat this food. The service and taste of Alleno Paris, which I went to in July last year, was great, and it was painful to sit here today. The service of the staff was distracting and far from friendly.

What a lovely night!!! Great atmosphere and delicious food. The only missing thing is that there are no vegan or vegetarian meals you have to call a few days before and let them now. Overall, great place!

The food and service there is great, it's a nice local area kind of restaurant, when you feel welcome and like home, everything we tried there was great 😃 the downfall that makes me not go back there, is probably the fact that they charged almost 7€ for a bottle of water. That's just rude. Even if your bill is is a couple of hundred Euros, with some wine and stuff. you feel scammed when they charged you 7€ to have some water with your wine.

Would like to start with a note for tourists, the place accepts only cash, and no card payment is available, so be ready. The place has a small outside seating, inside yet still with large windows surrounding so you feel outside and inside seatings. Each seating provides a different atmosphere feeling. Seems that they change the menu every few days, great idea yet tourists who come in search of specific menu items might not find them on a specific day. Tried the fish tartar, very nice representation and taste. Viel Schnitzel was tasty and the portion was nice yet the price of 29 euro is too high. Overall, most of the dishes that were served to tables around us had very nice representation yet prices are high.

Okay/good food for long waiting times at the bar. Reservation possible inside the restaurant, bring patience!! 3-4 stars.

Best food I’ve had in Hamburg. The waiters are exceptionally friendly! The long hours make it a perfect place for good late night food. Lives to the hype!

We had the chance to try menu 4, with dinner on the terrace. We truly enjoyed the experience the beautifully presented food, the excellent wine selection, and above all, the service: attentive, warm, and professional. The Iberian pork was the only dish that didn’t quite match the high standard of the rest. This type of meat usually requires a more refined preparation to fully bring out its quality. The red tuna, although not from Almadraba, understandable in Hamburg, was still tasty and well-prepared. We also came back on a Sunday to try the traditional breaded cutlets with fresh salads. Simple, delicious, and very reasonably priced. In short: a lovely experience, fair pricing soulful cuisine, great wines, and charming service. Definitely worth a visit!

The 4-course menu was incredible - delicious and beautifully presented. They use fresh, regional ingredients, which really makes a difference. The atmosphere is chic and sophisticated, and the staff was fantastic. They were attentive all night, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and their wines. The highlight for me (if I had to pick just one) were the absolutely exceptional cocktails! Highly recommend!

It was our first time visiting here to celebrate something, and everything was incredibly enjoyable and unbelievably delicious. The waiter who helped us was extremely friendly. Once he noticed we were speaking English, she continued everything in English with great attention and care. It was our first time, but definitely not the last!
