Nestled in the picturesque town of Silang, Cavite, Chateau Hestia is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming garden restaurant spans half a hectare and is enveloped by lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Guests can indulge in authentic European cuisine with options ranging from monthly set menus to delightful à la carte selections. The overall experience was nice. The staff was accommodating and kind. The food was tasty and the ambiance was relaxing. CC is currently not accepted but they accept cash and BPI bank transfers. It's best to make a reservation through text.

The long and narrow road leads to a hidden gem amidst pineapple fields. Getting there was quite difficult but I have no regrets. Ambience is cozy and warm despite the cold and wet weather. We ordered the mushroom fritters and 4 cheese pizza for starters. I wasn’t too impressed with the osso bucco and risotto, their claimed speciaty of all time, probably because it’s not my type of food in the first place. I prefer their kümmel bratten, roast crackling pork belly served with bread dumplings and sauerkraut. I also enjoyed the panna cotta and coffee. Thumbs up for great service.

Staff is super nice. One of them has worked for a 5 star hotel We took two kind of pasta of which taste are in top tier level. We stay the room with bath tab so that could have a relax time there.
San M — Google review
My son searched this place in a hurry and it was a pleasant surprise. It was hard to find but worth it. The taste and size of serving plus the ambience makes the price reasonable. We are considering the place for our future event.
Pearl R — Google review
Perfect venue for intimate gatherings 💖 2021 UPDATE: We went back a year after my sister's wedding and enjoyed the appetizer, pizza, and salad. Pasta dishes could be improved though. Nevertheless, like the last couple of times that we went here, the place still has that rustic, intimate vibe that people can enjoy even during these tough times. The waitstaff is commendable, too. All courteous and attentive to our requests, especially the one wearing glasses. We sadly forgot his name but we definitely remember his 5-star service.
Barbara G — Google review
Thumbs-up: 1) Attentive and kind waitstaff 2) Interesting concept for the whole place. Lots of beautiful greenery. 3) It gets really cold in the evening, so no need for air-conditioning. 4) In the morning when you wake up, you'll hear bird songs (not the mp3 sound they play at the restaurant). 5) Yummy breakfast and excellent coffee Thumbs-down: 1) Food (aside from breakfast) was just so-so. We had the Reale pizza, smoked bacon amatriciana, and the avocado salad. 2) The one who seemed to lead the staff didn't greet/mind the guests at all, which to us was strange for such an intimate place. Would have been better if she at least acknowledged the guests properly. 3) Accommodation could use some improvement. We got the Sampaguita villa, which cost P4,900 a night. We were told it was the only room with a jacuzzi. Might go back only for a meal, not to stay overnight.
Duane G — Google review
Always a pleasure to come here and eat good food. The serves may have gotten a little smaller, but it all still tastes great. It's fun the browse the products that they have as well. If you're able to go there when it's quite it's a much nicer experience. The other times there are those coming from Manila who talk overly loud and take pictures of themselves Infront of the bottle of wine. Have been here a few times over the years.
Jeremy H — Google review
It's my 2nd time to go here...1st during pre-pandemic...then just recently to celebrate my monthsary. The place...despite it being "looban" is very calm & relaxing. The food...though limited was still delectable and worth the travel & cost. The staff...pleasant & warm to commune with. It was definitely worth going to & celebrating a special occasion here again.

Restaurant
Cafe Voi La Crosswinds is a charming restaurant located in Tagaytay City, drawing inspiration from South East Asia for its interior and exterior aesthetics. The cafe's owner, a well-traveled individual, has adorned the space with oriental pieces and Asian ornaments, creating a unique and cozy ambiance.
It was a rainy Monday in Manila when we suddenly decided to drive to Tagaytay for dinner and enjoy the cool weather. We chose Café Voi La because of its beautiful location and surroundings. We ordered the Chicken Lemongrass, which was juicy and full of flavor. The garlic rice that came with it made the dish even better. We also tried the Chicken Pad Thai, which did not disappoint because of the fresh ingredients and the citrusy taste that really stood out. For dessert, we had the Mango Cheesecake and Mango Brulee, both of which we loved. Overall, we had a great experience. The servings are good for one to two people and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the way everything was prepared made it well worth it.
Ed — Google review
Pricey for me, but for special and limited occasions, it is a must go to. Since my family requests for halo-halo and more time spent with each other Cafe Vio La is the best fit. Cream bru lei is just right, halo-halo is not very sweet which we liked, coffee is nice also and it is recommended.
Paul A — Google review
We came on a Saturday around lunch time and it was surprisingly a bit empty so we were seated right away. The pad thai was really good but I remember the nasi goreng being better back then. Crew were attentive and the place still looks very vibrant and cozy.
Issa I — Google review
The food is okay, however, the price does not justify the taste. The tapa does not taste like tapa at all. A The pork steak actually tasted like left over roast beef tried to recycle to porksteak. The bagoong rice was good but nothing special
S. C — Google review
We tried the Pad Thai and Pork Steak during our visit. The Pad Thai had a generous serving size, but honestly, it didn't stand out as particularly memorable. The Pork Steak was enjoyable, though the portion was a bit small for the price. Overall, we felt both dishes were somewhat overpriced for what they offered. On the bright side, the salted caramel cheesecake was a highlight—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The ambience and seating arrangement were excellent, making the overall dining experience comfortable and pleasant.
Aaron C — Google review
It was an impromtu late dinner choice for us, not much expectation from our end. The ambiance was good, it gave a rustic asian vibe together with its intimate lighing at night. The menu offered a variety of Southeast asian cuisine: Thai, Viet, Malay, and Pinoy options available. There were only a few diners at the time and the waiters were attentive. I loved the chicken satay! The 5 pcs were big and can be for two person already since we were sharing our different food choices. The Kare-kare was also good (4.5/5) according to my connoiseur wife favors the dish. The pork cracklings skin were true enough to be very crunchy.
GL C — Google review
Sadly only breakfast items available when we dined in But it was well made The cafe mocha and flat white were okay Very tempted to try the cheesecake but lactose intolerant I can dream

Its a quick escapade to tagaytay so we decided to visit crosswinds. So if your planning to visit crosswind they have access fee per car (50) and conservation fee per person (100). But if your planning to dine here at voila it free of charge :)

Concha’s Garden Cafe, located in Cliffhouse in Tagaytay, Cavite, is a charming garden-themed restaurant owned by Pinoy television personality Alden Richards. The cafe offers a welcoming vibe and features a deck with stunning views of the Taal Volcano. It's an Instagrammer's dream and a haven for Filipino food enthusiasts.
We went on a Saturday around 2pm and surprisingly, it is not crowded. I love how attentive their staff to our needs and they are very friendly as well. I would recommend the food that we ordered: 1. Lechon Belly - the skin is cripsy and flavorful 2. Bok Choy with Mushroom - the sauce is sweeter than I expected but it is fine 3. Tortang Talong - very yummy 4. Sizzling Jumbo Bangus - A MUST TRY The only caveat is that there are a lot of ants and some bees lingering around. If you have allergies with bees, best to cover yourself.

Went here last week on a weekday so it’s a surprise to find many diners, and there were only one waiter to get and serve our food. :( anyway, as expected the view is perfect, big parking space, the food were okay. Must order is their pancit for its generous serving—with shrimps and lechon kawali
Crystelle G — Google review
Found this by just looking for restaurants/cafe with a great view in Tagaytay. It was Sunday and surprisingly not too many diners when we went here. The pasta we ordered tastes soooo good 😍 We also learned that this restaurant was owned by Alden Richards. Good food and great view 💯 We enjoyed our time here and planning to be back soon with our family!
Ainna O — Google review
This is one of my son’s favorite restaurants in Tagaytay. The food taste good but a bit pricey, as expected in Tagaytay. For this visit we just had light dinner. We ordered Ziti pasta for my son and my hubby and I shared with the Lomi which is good for 2-3 person based on the menu but I think it’s just enough for 2 person. The waiter was so nice to ask if we have any allergies which is a good thing because I am allergic to seafoods and the lomi has shrimp. they then served the shrimp separately which I really appreciate. We also ordered a club house which for me is a bit pricey too. My son ordered strawberry shake for drinks and he liked it a lot. The caramel macchiato is a bit sweet. I tried the pinoy tsokolate which I think is nothing extraordinary. Overall still a good place to eat because of the ambiance and a really nice view of taal volcano during the day.
Shella — Google review
The place is lowkey and hidden compared to other restaurants/ cafés. Lumpiang Sariwa - Very nutty and has strong flavor Seared Salmon - platter is far from pic, I hoped the serving was larger but it was filling and great if u need a balanced meal Red Velvet Slice - It was so moist please get this and it has the right amount of sweetness. Pakbet - Order this it was the best thing on the menu! A very timeless dish. Sisig - It was mediocre, your average sisig, not a staple in our opinion. Pancit Halo - Not the stir-fried type, it’s simple but it’s really good! All the dishes with the shrimp… best shrimp ever!!!! The staff were so nice and accommodating. The view was also really nice which made the ambience of the place great.

Went to Tagaytay to spend the weekend with the family and after a long drive, we went to this restaurant for lunch. It is great that even during the lunch hour rush, they still have a lot of seats available. They also offer free parking as long as you get your ticket validated by their staff. To say that their food tastes great is an understatement because all food items we sampled were excellent in their own right. The Bulalo was a highlight since we had to request for the broth to be refilled twice since the family really enjoyed it. Their combination of excellent food, great service, and breathtaking views of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake will surely complete your Tagaytay trip.

Nice foods... Recommended restaurant in Tagaytay
Bebot S — Google review
The atmosphere in this restaurant is just divine (but expect some noise from kids as it is a family oriented restaurant). A breather (literally from the fresh and cool breeze) from your busy life in Manila. The food was also amazing; the portion is just right to satisfy your hunger and desire for great find. The service is also good, not much waiting to eat those delicious meals. Side note, make sure that you are in the right area as there are other restaurants sharing the same space.

Nestled in a charming corner of Tagaytay, Don Limone Napa Grill is a delightful Mediterranean-inspired eatery that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its eclectic decor and European ambiance, the restaurant creates a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying meals with friends or a romantic partner. The menu features an array of fresh dishes, including mouthwatering kebabs and dips that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
Been hearing about this hidden dining garden getaway place for quite some time so I finally decided to check it out while I was having a coffee break near the area. From Mahogany upon reaching the Aquinaldo Highway. Turn right into the farm gate which leads to a private road. Follow the path all the way to the end. Turn right and on your left is Don Limone. If you think the entrance looks great, wait till you enter the restaurant. Staff greeted us warmly and led us to our seats. I was very impressed with the service. Menu is clearly mediterranean food which pairs quite nicely with the red wine from their wine collection. Place is quite large and well suited for group dinners. No AC and just the fresh Tagaytay air. Excellent dinner during a lovely off night. Open and well ventilated with lush garden all over the place, do expect an occasional bug or 2 but its not a big deal. Will definitely be back soon to try their food and wine with friends. Highly recommend this place so do check it out.

My wife and I had lunch here for our wedding anniversary. Lovely place. Attentive staff. Food was the best. Started with some hummus and salad. Loved the perfectly cooked lamb rack for our mains. Finished off with strawberry cheesecake and an espresso. We will definitely come back!
Jan U — Google review
Following a narrow pathway off the main road in Tagaytay is Don Limone Napa Grill, an excellent restaurant featuring a Californian/Mediterranean inspired fusion menu, pleasant ambience, and accommodating staff. The food that we ordered was great, most memorably the shrimp scampi, shish kebab, porchetta, and ossobuco. The hummus, focaccia, and saffron rice were also standouts. Servings were plentiful and were more than enough for our party of 9. The interiors were also lovely. Because of its location, the quiet surroundings and its rustic ambience made for a relaxing and cozy dinner on their open terrace dining area. Inside the restaurant, it's hard not to miss their wine cellar with a vast array of wines to choose from. The service was also excellent. Staff was friendly and very attentive and was a big part of why our experience was very pleasant and memorable.

This was such a wonderful find! If you love Mediterranean food, this is your place :) Food and service is excellent! Place is so pretty. We ordered the hummus for our appelizer, lamb and porchetta for mains, limonciello cheesecake for dessert and homemade limonciello for drinks (with takehome one bottle!). Will definitely comeback here next time we're in Tagaytay.
C. G — Google review
This hidden find is worth visiting! The interior gives a European at the same time eclectic vibe. The walls are well stocked with wine bottles and the decors seem to come from different parts of the world! The food is great! You can hang out here with your partner or with friends!
Gems G — Google review
One of the best places I've been to in Tagaytay. Try their kabab and saffron&dates cheesecake...unbelievable!!! They also have an excellent collection of wines. The ambiance is so calm and inviting...can't wait to go back again! ❤️ Sad to say that another restaurant opened up near them stealing their name, serving overpriced food that's not even worth it. Becareful not to mix up the two places.
Dragacia F — Google review
A hidden gem in Tagaytay. If you want to chill alone or have wine with friends, try finding this place. Good food. Nice eclectic atmosphere. Will try their drinks and desserts next time I pass by.
Danee G — Google review
The place is a feast of the eyes and the food are feast of the tummy. The restaurant is open only on weekends the rest of the week are spent of marketing and food prep. from the owners to the Executive Chef and the waiters are very welcoming and accommodating ...they took the extra mile to always to check if we are enjoying our meals and also explained the marinating and cooking process of the food we ordered... French Brisket, Moroccan Chicken and Porchetta. They have a vast wine selection the very reason they have a wine pairing chef Our cheesecake dessert is a two thumbs up. Over all it was a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE.

The restaurant prides itself on sourcing ingredients from the surrounding estate, ensuring that each dish bursts with authentic and seasonal tastes.
Farmer’s Table in Tagaytay is definitely a must-stopover whenever you’re in the area! The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. This is now officially my favorite restaurant in Tagaytay! We have dined here twice already and both times have been nothing short of amazing. The food is consistently delicious and the ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. We ordered Pad Thai, Pinakbet, Grilled Blue Marlin, Sisig, and Fish and Chips, and everything was cooked to perfection. The dishes were served promptly. One of my favorite little details is the fresh flowers placed on every table. They also have a lovely garden. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a memorable dining experience in Tagaytay!

The ambiance was great! The place offers al fresco dining with a very natural vibe, and no mosquitoes, which is a big plus!!! For the food, we ordered 4 dishes and 2 appetizers, which turned out to be really hefty for a family of 7. We even had to take some home. 😅 (See photos for captions and reviews of each dish!) As for the service, I’m not sure if it’s their usual pace, but we had to wait a bit for the server to scoop the bulalo. It was a little slow, though understandable since the place was packed, we visited on a weekend, after all. Overall, the experience was great and definitely worth what we paid for. Ohhhh, and I almost forgot, they’re pet-friendly! 🫶🏻

We had our Brunch here on a weekday afternoon and I think I quite expect a lot since it was suggested by our friends. When we arrived we were welcomed by an empty reception. As this was our first time trying the restaurant we actually don’t know if we will enter immediately or not. We waited for a few minutes but no one is entertaining us despite knowing that new guests arrived. We went up on their small receiving area on the right side and advised that they are only accommodating their wellness area and should wait downstairs. We again waited and still no assistance. We have no choice but to ask the servers since no one is assisting their receiving area. And guess what, we are still advise to go back to the receiving area 🥲 We got assisted after 15 mins of going back and forth and i believe this could be avoided if there is a proper coordination with the team. Guards and the wellness area already know that they have a new guests yet they didn’t tap the assigned person on the receiving area. Thank Goodness that their foods are really nice. We tried their Sisig, Pancit Hacienda, Kalderata. All were delicious but I will definitely recommend the Sisig. Most of their food selections are good for sharing and the ambiance itself definitely adds up the whole experience. Hopefully service will be improve and maybe will come back again.

The staff were excellent, kudos for their attentiveness. Service was quick, possibly because it wasn’t too busy during our visit, but still impressive. The food was delicious, served well, and had a clean, satisfying taste. I’d definitely return to try more from the menu. I loved the ambiance, peaceful and close to nature, beautifully complemented by live piano music.

We dined in here on November 1 around 3PM, right after a relaxing massage from their spa. Even at this hour, the place was still full—so I definitely recommend making a reservation! The food was great—we enjoyed everything we ordered. My personal favorite was their laing, which had a mild and light flavor that I really loved. Our first server was attentive but looked a bit tired (understandably so, since it was quite busy). Midway through our meal, there was a shift change and Sir Bernard took over—he was a game changer! His warm smile and cheerful attitude made a big difference. Even with our few extra requests for cutleries and such, he remained friendly and accommodating, which made our dining experience so much better.
Erica D — Google review
Ube champorado is okay reminds me of kuya J’s champorado. Serving size is good for sharing can fit up to 4 pax but the dried fish on top isn’t enough for the whole serving, I felt that butterfly pea is unnecessary since it doesn’t improve the quality of the taste. Farmer’s Laing, out of all the dishes this is fave. Plating was unique and it has the right balance of coconut milk and a kick of spiciness. Pancit Hacienda is their own version of Bam I dish, although for a Bam I dish you can’t really taste the seafood because of the Atsuete that masks the overall flavor profile. The seafood ingredients were in small sizes and the slice of “crispy” pork topping was tough to the bite. Bone Barrow Bulalo this is their classic take on tagaytay’s bulalo. I like their idea of serving it on top of the burner to maintain the heat but it’s not convenient overtime because we had to serve ourselves every time we get a refill, their potatoes were undercooked, we couldn’t even slice it and some parts of the meat were tough. The bowl used has a lot of chips. Good side is the soup was quite flavorful compared to other restaurants that use a lot of beef broth. The taste is natural. Big Bowl Salad I love that all ingredients is natural and the serving size if quite plenty and good for sharing. Not quite sure what was the dressing used because we weren’t able to ask but the yellow one has a mango base that goes well on the salad and the white dressing is a bit sour to my liking. Kare Kare. Its sauce has a rich nutty taste top with cashew nuts which adds to the flavor and to the texture of the dish. Vegetables were all cooked well, overall I love the flavor of the kare kare itself but I felt that it has more oxtripe than meat. Bagoong doesn’t complement the taste of the dish and it overpowers the overall flavor. Cookie Dough Cheesecake (not in the picture) | Php325 | ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A little bit pricey for its size but it has a very rich creamcheese taste which is also its downside because due to its richness a single person wouldn’t finish an entire slice. The flavor is also straight forward which is sweet and the texture is just creamy and doesn’t have a contrasting flavor. Chocnut Hot Choco (not in the picture) | Php350 | ⭐️ I cannot understand why its priced this much for a drink beacuse I couldnt taste any nuttines from chocnut and bitterness from tablea because its too diluted in water. Service: To be honest I could have rated them 4/5 but this is where they really failed. We didn’t dine during peak hours but their service was a total let down. They were around 6 wait staff stationed in our area which is supposedly enough to accomodate the guests considering there are still empty tables and still couldnt get our service and requests right. 1st incident: the staff didn’t get our orders correctly if I haven’t followed up my salad I wouldn’t know it was not included. 2nd: after billout we informed the server that we will takeout the dishes which was acknowledged after processing the receipt we waited for him to return but didn’t return at all instead we called for another staff to takeout our remaining dishes. 3rd incident: I was giving instruction regarding my takeout which is to put the remaining nuts that were not put in the salad to be placed in a separate container. But when I received the takeout they mixed it in the salad.

We went here just to try the food since it’s quite famous in the South. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing especially the service. The staff were kind of rude. I don’t know, we called someone to ask for a small bowl for the sauce, and he just told us to wait and waved his hand in a rather rude manner. That really put me off because we’ve been to quite a few restaurants, and so far, this one has the rudest staff I’ve encountered. I get that they were busy, but it wasn’t even peak hour when we went. There’s just something off about the vibe of the staff. The place itself looks great though, it would actually be a nice venue for a wedding reception. But knowing the vibe of theirs staffs, I’d say never mind. As for the food, I expected a lot, but there was really nothing special. We ordered their Bulalo and Roasted Chicken with Rosemary. The chicken tasted bland, I expected it to be like the one from El Born. And the Bulalo was just mid. On top of that, everything was overpriced. Honestly, Bulalo from cheaper eateries tastes way better. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you just want garden pictures since they have one at the back. But I’d recommend going somewhere better somewhere that isn’t overpriced and actually serves good authentic food.

Tsokolateria is a popular spot in Tagaytay known for its rich Filipino-style hot chocolate. It's located inside The Boutique Bed & Breakfast, offering a beautiful alfresco dining area with views of Taal Lake and Volcano. The cafe is also famous for its handmade Tablea House Blend hot chocolate.
One of my Tagaytay restaurants bucket list. I always drove past it and got curious. Luckily, we were able to get a table during lunch time on a Sunday. The service is okay, some of the wait staff seems to have been there a long time. We opted for the alfresco dining so we don't need to wait long. The food is great. Although there was a point, I got overwhelmed with the chocolate. You can order menu from Pamana here too. I think it's value for money. Good first time experience.

We always come here to eat almost every weekend. Food is exceptional and you have a lot of options. All year round bibingka and puto bumbong to satisfy your cravings. The staff are also very accomodating and friendly. The view of taal is also very good!

Went here on our last day in Tagaytay. My friend recommended that we should try this place and so happy we listened. Their menu is unique, detailed, very interesting and big serving for each dish. The staff is friendly, speedy service and the view of Taal Lake and Volcano is wonderful. Would come back to this place and try their other unique dishes.

Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty packed, but luckily we got a table right away. We ordered the ube latte, bibingka with kesong puti, and tablea champorado. The coffee was just warm, so I wasn’t really into it. The champorado was okay—kinda heavy on the tablea for me. But the bibingka? So good! Definitely my favorite part.

Someone told me their champorado (chocolate rice porridge) and chocolate drinks were delicious, so my spouse and I decided to give it a try. Regarding the price, I find it a bit pricey, but that's typical for most restaurants. As for the food, it was delicious for me, and I really liked it—even the fried chicken was flavorful. It's a shame I wasn't able to take many pictures of the place because it was raining, but overall, the place and the service were good. I just wasn't informed that you're supposed to whisk the chocolate drinks (using a batidor)! Haha, I just stirred and drank it. Also, it wasn't served very hot; it would have been better if it was piping hot since the weather was cold. It was just slightly warmer than lukewarm. However, I definitely want to come back again soon.

Best supper place for enjoyable sweet treats in the presence of family! Everything from the ambiance to the interior design of the restaurant - it truly felt like visiting a grandparent’s place for late dinner with family. Loved the many vintage family pictures that peppered the walls, and quaint furniture that felt like a blast to the past. As the name of the restaurant goes, we didn’t miss the chance to order chocolate everything - champorado, hot chocolate and churros with chocolate syrup! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience, getting to add on the syrups to the churros, and stirring the hot chocolate in the pitcher with a honey dipper really added to the experience! While the entire experience had been very pleasant and warm, some feedback for improvement would be the hot chocolate and waffle churros we ordered. Personally, I found the hot chocolate (we got chocolate ah, the sweeter version) a bit too sweet. I felt we could’ve gone for the chocolate eh (with a bittersweet taste) instead which would be the safer option. As for the waffle churros, they were quite bready, much different from the light and airy ones I normally like. Special mentions go to the putobumgbong which was very soft to chew and sticky to the right degree, the palitaw and tablea champorado. We’ll surely come back for them when we visit Tagaytay again! Thanks also to the lovely gentlemen who served us today evening! I can only continue to hope that Tsokolateria continues to bloom and foster 💖

I saw Tsokalateria on TikTok and thought it would be the perfect place for my daughter to visit while on holiday in the Philippines, and for my mum, sister, and Tita to celebrate their birthdays together. Organising everything, a few days before the 6th of August, from overseas was a breeze - thanks to Jinky (I hope I got that right!). I say, hats off as well to their wonderful service staff, especially the male staff member (sorry they forgot your name!) who was so helpful and accomodating to my family's needs. The food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, it was pouring that day so they couldn’t enjoy the Taal Volcano view, but the aesthetic of the place still gave the kids plenty of photo and TikTok moments to cherish. Thank you once again, and I look forward to visiting myself soon.

Liked everything we had - Tsokolate Eh, Waffle Churros with chocolate and honey dips, Pumpkin soup with kesong puti, Aligue Risotto, sinigang. Service is also great. Our only qualm is that the place is old and could use an upkeep. We sat at the veranda with our dog and the floors are dirty. The table or placemats smell like wet rug. Furnitures are worn out. That’s it but the food and service is still worth going back for.

Malen's Restaurant started as a humble spot offering baked goods and delicious dishes, eventually expanding to include an event venue in Cavite Province. Despite its upscale appearance, the restaurant is actually quite affordable and boasts a cozy, old-house interior design that provides a relaxing dining atmosphere. Families and groups frequent the establishment, drawn by the delectable menu featuring items like spicy gamba and kare-kare. The vintage interiors exude classic charm while attentive staff members enhance the overall dining experience.
It might look like an expensive restaurant from the outside but it's not. Haha. The old-house interior design is very relaxing. And it was a quiet and cozy dinner. The menu is very very affordable. I noticed families and groups who I think are already regular customers. The food was very good, as well. You should all try their spicy gamba and kare-kare. They also have shelves of good packed snacks like chicharon and pastries. And I want to emphasize the good service of their staff. This is a full five for me.

The plate is massive! Service is great! Ambience is unbelievable. First time I’ve seen very clean toilets!!! Wow! This place is underrated! However, my Roast Beef looks great when I shove the gravy off. It’s full of fat. Which I don’t eat. Fat right on the end of the photo. But overall, I would love to come back to this place and try their other meals. It’s very tasty and savory!

Its one of the few places within our area where you can have a decent and peaceful meal. You have a good selection from the menu and a counter for snacks you can take home or gift to someone. Serving time is not bad. The staff are courteous and attentive as well. Its good dining solo, as a couple, or with family and friends. The place is not that very big. Toilets are clean.

Malen’s Restaurant is a filipino cuisine food place that is between fine dining and casual eating. With the menu placed underneath the glass tabletop denotes a fast food like feeling amongst Filipiniana decor. It sounds weird but somehow it works. The food is good and basic Filipino a d service is quick and fast. The servers are friendly and willing to give their recommendation as well as amenable to special requests without giving much fuss. There is a dine dining area which is usually used for large receptions like weddings. The common area is bright and cool. Spacing between tables is also good so overhearing other customer’s conversations is not a problem. If one os looking for a quick bite or a long lunch/ dinner Malen’s is a great place to go.

Actually, we just happened to pass-by here and decided to eat some lunch. We were surprised because the place is really good it has this vintage restaurant design and the food here is really flavorful, as you can see in the photos I really recommend ordering the pizza. Tastes soooo good! Would have given it a 5 star its just that there is limited space for parking but overall I will surely dine here whenever I am in the area.

We waited for an hour to be served. Maybe because it was peak hours when we arrived. The place is fantastic and the ambiance is great! Very rustic! They also have WW2 memorabilia on display. But what about the food? Was it worth the wait? Definitely! The pork sinigang feels home. The beef caldereta was so tender. The oyster sisig was also great. Price is a bit on the steep side but the serving and the taste definitely makes up for it.

Great place with good food. Feel the historic moment of Philippine here. Nice one. Tried the beef tongue, salted egg shrimp, salmon, crispy pata, lechon kawali. Certainly accompanied with local beers. Service was good even quite takes time on the food preparation. But staffs are kind and polite.

years ago, to dine at malen's was one of my ultimate goals. coming there for the first time was similar to fulfilling a dream. 😁 the vintage interiors give a classic ambiance to your dining experience and the waiters are attentive and accomodating. the food choices were very good and there are take home products like bread, pastries and snacks are available at their display counter. the merienda we ate was superb and their brewed coffee is really "to die for"! better than most known coffee shops actually. me & my partner will be coming back to taste more of their menu very soon! i love malen's! simple as that!

Subi-Monte Cafe, originally located in Cavite City, has expanded to multiple branches to cater to more customers. The cafe offers homemade dishes, delectable desserts, and a variety of coffee options. Its cozy ambiance is adorned with a mountain-climbing theme and the cafe's story displayed on its walls. While the seating may be simple and slightly cramped, both indoor and outdoor seating are available for patrons.
i went to this cafe a few months ago with a friend, and i really loved the place. the design is amazing, from the exterior to the interior, it’s so cozy and well-thought-out. i was especially drawn to the tent inside, but too bad it was occupied when we visited. we got the unli wings with some sides, and i was really impressed by the chicken—big, juicy, and packed with flavor. they also have free unlimited coffee, which was a nice bonus! the staff was super accommodating and attentive, i also loved the classical music they had playing in the background. overall, it was a great experience, and i’m definitely looking forward to coming back soon. keep it up!

On food: we ordered chicken fingers and unlimited chicken. Sadly, we found one piece of chicken not thoroughly cooked. On service: there is only one server but he is truly fast on his feet. Very alert and courteous. On atmosphere: the place is almost full, thus, noisy but happy. A lot of young people enjoying the unlimited chicken and rice.

Place It's a small, simple, and cozy cafe with a mountain-climbing theme. The story of the place can be found on the wall inside. Tables and chairs are very simple and slightly cramped. Indoor and outdoor seats are available. Drinks The flavor I tried was blueberry. It's a cold beverage with a Dilmah teabag left inside. It can be troublesome though because the tag fell into my drink twice during my careless stirring. I suggest cutting the tag off or removing the entire tea bag if you're confident that the flavor will linger. It has a terrific flavor and the cheese is very good. Happy Lemon fans will appreciate this type of drink and there are several other flavors.

"My Mother's Garden" is a hidden gem that pays homage to Dona Marina Antonio, the wife of Pablo Antonio. The restaurant is managed by renowned fashion designers Malu and Letlet Veloso, who have preserved the beautiful compound as a tribute to their childhood memories with Lola Marina and Lola Leni. This charming venue is perfect for family gatherings and events like weddings or reunions. Guests praise the delicious food and friendly ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a memorable dining experience.

First, we did not have the pleasure of eating here. Since we stayed at the Kabayan Hotel and this restaurant was a 5 minute walk away, we decided to try it. The walk to the restaurant is down a narrow, very dark road so BE CAREFUL. The road does not have sidewalks, it is very poorly lit and has numerous tricycles and vehicles traversing in both directions. I strongly recommend you do not try to walk here with children. Secondly, once you arrive at 2560, the restaurant has no signs showing where it is located. It is actually a garden in a nice lady's house. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. After checking with a store across the street, we discovered you must call and have reservations or it is not open. Nothing on Maps or their reviews mentioned this. Apparently from the other reviews, it is quite nice, this post is so you will know to make reservations and take a taci or tricycle to get there.

Lawa Cafe in Tagaytay offers a simple yet charming ambiance with bamboo-clad fencing and basic furniture, providing a refreshing escape from the bustling city life. Guests can savor Filipino dishes like silogs and bulalo while enjoying breathtaking views of Taal Lake. The cafe also serves an array of hot and iced beverages.
A hidden gem next to Cabezera — definitely worth finding! They have plenty of parking space, which is great for weekend riders. The view is absolutely stunning, overlooking Taal with the sky as your backdrop. It’s simple, peaceful, and perfect for those who just want to unwind. Their Salted Lake Latte is amazing — I even got a fruity note from it, which made it unique and refreshing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the chill vibe of the place. A great spot to destress, enjoy the scenery, and make your weekend ride extra worth it. 🌤️🏍️☕ I just hope they won’t overyoast my croissant on my next visit. 😅 I’ll be back and get a taste of the bibingka.

Tried their Turon with Choc-nut sauce. Nothing special. Definitely not worth 220 pesos. 😬 also ordered iced americano and iced latte. Coffee tastes "watered down". A bit disappointing also considering their food and drinks are a bit pricey. Stunning view of the Taal Lake tho!

☕ Feedback for Lawa Café 🌿 It was my first time at Lawa Café, though not my first time in the area — a few years back, I was on the other side with the same beautiful view. The difference now is the ambiance — light, calm, and relaxing — the kind that makes you want to just sit back, unwind, and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, we arrived at the wrong time since it was raining all morning, but it didn’t take away from how peaceful the place felt. 🌧️✨ Food choices are good, prices are fair, and I love that they even have a pup cup for pets! 🐶 The staff were all so friendly and always smiling — it really adds to the charm of the café. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the view. 🌿💛 #LawaCafe #CafeVibes #PetFriendly #CoffeeWithAView

While the view of Taal here is quite nice, our experience was impacted by slow service. It took an hour to receive our order of five drinks, cheesy bibingka, and cake, despite the cafe not being very busy at the time (visible in the photo). I hope they work on speeding up their service. The drinks were average, but their bibingka was definitely a win.

We visited the place for breakfast and really enjoyed the delicious food with generous servings. We also tried the avocado share, but I wasn’t a fan of the ground Biscoff on top, not a good combo with avocado. Our table had a lovely view overlooking the lake, which made the experience even better.

Convenient location First time to try this branch as it is conveniently situated across the church where we'll attend a wedding. No wait during our visit on a Friday lunchtime. We just grabbed a quick meal and it was served fast. Bolognese is creamy and tasty to my liking Tapa is average to our liking due to the tenderness of the beef. But the taste is good. The cake we ordered is the chocolate moose and it's delicious. The ratio of the icing to and cake is ok and not all icing compared to another cafe. Drinks are average in taste and nothing special to our taste buds. Overall the place is good and can accommodate a group. The view is ok The only comment is regarding the smell as we think the neighboring house is burning some leaves and it smell may affect your eating experience. Nevertheless, a must-try location for the bag of beans group

I recently tried Kuuma Kaakao Chocolate Kaffee and overall, it was a nice experience. The chocolate drink and bibingka are both very flavorful and perfect for anyone who loves sweet treats. For me personally though, I found them a bit too sweet after a while, so medyo nakakumay kapag tumagal. The first bites were definitely enjoyable, but I think it would be even better if paired with something salty like pancit to balance out the sweetness. Of course, this is just my personal preference. If you're someone who enjoys rich and sweet flavors, you’ll probably love their menu as is!

We went in out of curiosity since we would always pass by this roadside cafe from Tagaytay. Interiors are Instagrammable. Food is reasonably priced at 200-400 per head. Service is okay except that they erroneously gave me change for a second time which I returned to the counter. (The crew probably got scolded for the error as I observed the morale of the crew a few minutes later to be less enthusiastic.) We had 2 orders of their beef stew with rice (even if they were mainly known for their pizza) but we did order lasagna which tasted really good and the normal Cafe drinks. I just ordered an iced Americano, my companions ordered a Matcha based cold drink and cappuccino. I forgot to ask for my receipt and I guess they forgot to issue one too. So if you are like me who needs receipts, ask them because they might forget. 😉 Overall rating for me is 4.... Good enough for me to make a 2nd, 3rd, xth trip to this Cafe. Pwedeng balik-balikan.

Love the concept - cafe and perfumery in one very aestethically nice place. From the outside it looks small but it's spacious inside. They have plenty of fragrance choices. Food options are good too. A bit pricey but serving size is big and taste is good. Coffee is also good. It's self service though. Staff are not that helpful and accommodating. And my big concern is that they don't have a parking space.

A Hidden Gem in Tagaytay! If you want to unwind and have a great cup of coffee in a very cozy and inviting place, this is the perfect place to be. Whether you're here to catch up with friends, dive into a good book, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of the day, Coffee and Dreams Cafe offers a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere where you can savor both the simple joys of life and the perfect cup of coffee.

American tourist review: A nice little hidden cafe/breakfast spot. It tries hard to have that modern western aesthetic but it pays off because it looks really nice. Our coffee's were delicious and our breakfast wasn't too far off either.
Ben J — Google review
A little bit pricey for the quality of the coffee but the ambiance of the place was superb. I ordered their Coffee & Dream signature coffee and it was ok. Inside the cafe was also a perfume depot. Staff could be more accommodating and friendly. Have easy access for customers because the location is only along the highway. Pets with diapers are allowed inside the cafe. A very nice cafe with instagrammable vibes. Edit 1: Went back here for the second time to try other items on their menu. This time there were fewer customers than the last time so I felt the relaxing vibes more. Their music was very chill. This time we ordered fries and chicken karaage together with their signature mocha and spanish latte. I also liked my mocha better than what I ordered last time. Edit 2: Already our quick stop over when we are in the area. I strongly recommend their Lasagna and Clubhouse Sandwich. Their Signature Salted Caramel is their best drink that I have tasted so far. I will not hesitate to go here anytime if I have the chance.

Coffee and Dreams in Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay, is a delightful place for coffee lovers. Located along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay, this charming cafe offers a serene atmosphere to relax and enjoy excellent coffee. Is just that when I came, there's this loud group of adult people who's so noisy that you can't even enjoy a sip of your coffee. The café was dreamy(wala lang pakundangan ang iba tao). Their menu features a variety of specialty brews, each crafted with care and precision. The cozy interior, adorned with nice decor, provides the perfect setting for a leisurely coffee date or a solo escape. Whether you're craving a rich espresso or a creamy latte, Coffee and Dreams delivers a satisfying experience that pairs perfectly with the picturesque surroundings of Tagaytay.

Dizon's Bakery is a beloved institution in Cavite City, renowned for its delectable offerings that have stood the test of time since the 1930s. Among its standout items are the Quesillo, a local cheese made from carabao or goat's milk, and the Salakot, a sweet bread shaped like traditional headwear. The salty Quesillo pairs perfectly with the slightly sweet Salakot, creating an irresistible combination.
Great tasting breads and pastries. Breads are pugon cooked. A must try when you're in Cavite City.
John T — Google review
Very bad customer service. I arrived just after the buyer before me. I didn't know their closing time and since there is someone who bought something before me, and since everything is still on display, I was unaware that they are closing. I was standing there in their bakery for a few minutes, with several staff just passing by me without acknowledging me. They should've just told me that they're already closing and I would've left. But they ignored me while I was waiting. So I only realized they're closing already when one of the staff started to close their gate WHILE I WAS STILL INSIDE. He literally just passed by me and I was like 3 ft away from him. I was surprised that he was closing the gate and still, I even had to ask him TWICE before he answered my question if I can't buy anymore. This is very annoying.

We tried these during our stay in Quest Hotel Tagaytay: ~ Quest Breakfast Platter - 3/5; opted for garlic rice over croissant. I didn't liked the lamb sausage. *and it was served cold. ~ Daing na bangus - 4/5; i liked the boneless bangus; medyo malamig na rin yung sinerve samen. ~ Porkchop Tocino - 3/5; it was not the tocino that we expect. It was more on sweetened porkchop, not the same tocino texture. ~ Homemade Beef Tapa - 4/5; It was good! ~ Brewed Coffee - 2/5 Food was average. Coffee was underwhelming. Servers were not rude but they lack customer service. Flies everywhere and you can here the servers and chefs (?) almost shouting during breakfast. I tried their croissant and their almond bread, it was good, to be honest. But their breakfast, not so much.
Jayselle ( — Google review
It took some time to get service after getting seated but it was good once the order was placed. I had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and my friend had a New York Roll Beef Burger. Both were good. Contemporary decor lobby restaurant that gives you a view of not only of the kitchen bar but also of the hotel front desk.
Larry's L — Google review
We ate their all day breakfast and 3/4 people commented that food was average and disappointing in terms of taste. Considering the price, they should improve this since they are the only restaurant/cafe within the Quest hotel. Only redeeming factor here was their interiors and the actual location of the place. The servings of rice was also lacking, like it was just half of the normal cup of rice. Their eggs Benedict lacks the zing from hollandaise sauce. Their tapa and corned beef did not hit the sweet spot. Even their crepe was underwhelming. 😢
Patricia A — Google review
Too pricey. It’s like a pretentious breakfast food (average). There were even missing items on the plate like mushrooms on the side. The place looks so nice and a good social spot. The servers weren’t rude, but they did not know how to do customer service properly. Not attentive, they’re just chatting on their stations.
