Super friendly staff. The lunch Menu offers a 3 main dishes to choose from with a complementary side salad. The food taste good and the portions are sufficient for lunch. You won’t miss any flavors as a non-vegan guest. The lasagna was a little bit too sweet to my taste but nothing extrem. I would recommend for a quick healthy lunch in the Glückstein neighborhood.

Truly amazing food and atmosphere. We came just few minutes before kitchen was closed, but they prepared us very fresh and tasty bowl and carbonara. Everyone is super friendly

I went there to have a burger but didn't know they serve burgers only on tuesday. So I ordered gnocchi and they were really good. 😋👌 Oh, and homemade ice tea. 🙂

High quality vegetarian food. Nice and thoughtful team. The chef fulfilled our wish of adding more pepper. The Curry and the Chilli sin carne was delicious. The large salad colorful and tasty. They deliver, too. We'll come back for sure :)

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with friendly service and a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The interior had a charming rustic feel that made us feel right at home. The beer selection was excellent as well…

We had a nice dinner here with my sister. Pleasant terrace with a nice view, fancy aperitifs / cocktails (several gin&tonic options!), delicious food, friendly service. Definitely recommended - will be back at my next visit to Mannheim!

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there are a few aspects that could be improved. Positives: • The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, well-seasoned, and just the right level of spiciness. I especially enjoyed the grapefruit lemonade, which was very refreshing and perfectly balanced in taste. • The staff is friendly, attentive, and speaks both German and English, which is a big plus. • The atmosphere is welcoming, and the decor fits the Mexican theme nicely. Areas for improvement: • Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated, which was quite frustrating. • The service was a bit slow – about 30 minutes until we received the appetizer. The other courses arrived at fairly long intervals, which slightly affected the overall experience. We had the reservation at 19:30 - photo was taken at 21:19. Conclusion: I recommend this restaurant for its tasty food and pleasant atmosphere, but make sure to bring a bit of patience, especially on busy evenings.

Food was fine, portions are huge. Service was friendly but everything took very long- although there weren’t a lot of people during lunch hours. Price definitely great.

After 2h waiting, I started noticing that other people that arrived only 30min ago, got there food. After asking many times, no food and no explanation was given by any of the employees. Only that the "Kitchen is very bed, and slow". After all these time. Finally we got the manager, only to find out that no employees have checked if you order was in the way. That after 2h, and having to talk with the manager, they will ask the order only now. Worst restaurant and experience that I had basically.

It was a lovely dinner. There is no question about it. Lovely dishes. My favorite was the crayfish with tonka bean. The lollipop ice-cream was amazing too. The Swiss schnapps Etter was a huge pleasant surprise - schnapps are usually too strong for me. One of the reasons why I noted 4 instead of 5 for food is because …. I wasn’t sure the identity of Opus V even though the food was excellent. I wished there was something more unique about what the restaurant could offer. Maybe it’s just my unvarnished thinking but it could try to build a more unique identify as a 2-star restaurant? But the staff at the restaurant was excellent - he really brightened the whole atmosphere of the dinner. Bravo.

I recently dined at Opus V with my husband, drawn in by its two Michelin stars and high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of what we expected. We started with a glass of champagne (€30 p.p.), which set the tone for what we hoped would be an exceptional evening. We then opted for the chef’s choice menu (€159 p.p.) with wine pairing. However, the wines were disappointingly small pours and lacked the creativity one might expect for €109 p.p. Whilst waiting we could not drink wine because we’d otherwise would run out of wine during the course. Non of the waiters anticipated but I’m sure someone should have seen that. The food was enjoyable but not particularly remarkable or surprising. We felt hesitant to voice our concerns during the meal, thinking the staff would notice and rectify any issues in time. But we didn’t really have the opportunity either; the conversation at the tables was very standard and echoed across all the tables. So, you don’t really have a meaningful conversation with anyone. This would make you feel more comfortable sharing your thoughts without it negatively impacting your evening. We found ourselves largely overlooked, feeling somewhat forgotten as tourists in what should be a high-end dining experience. Minor details also contributed to our disappointment. Our serviettes were not folded when we left the table, and our table was not completely cleared. Additionally, the presence of a loud group nearby detracted from the atmosphere. We also noticed that there were no hand towels available in both restrooms. At the end of the meal, we were left waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes before finally having to flag down a server. To our dismay, the bill was incorrect, missing charges for water and coffee. Although we provided feedback on our experience—considering the hefty total of €650—we felt our comments were met with indifference. In summary, our evening at Opus V was far from the exceptional experience we had hoped for. While perhaps regular guests might receive better treatment, as a one-time visitor, I would not recommend this restaurant. It was not the memorable night we expected.

I dined in here three times and tried different menus in spring summer and winter. There’s great Riesling and champagne collection. The starter is designed for wine pairing. If you enjoy the starters with water then it would be much less interesting. The choice and arrangement of the tableware is interesting especially for the desserts. The waiters are overall professional and knows everything they should know. Worth to give it a try on special day. I would recommend the full menu if you have the appetite. (Unfortunately I have difficulties understanding the main course and the soup sometimes. Maybe Europeans will love it?)

Had a date night at Opus V last Friday and is now one of my favorite restaurants. The seating is a little strange for my taste, we were fortunate to have asked for a two top facing each other and they made it happen. I can't say enough to the service we received! From the little bites between courses, to the wine service... Don't miss out on the best meal you can be served if you are in Manhheim. Thank you for the most wonderful dinner date night my boyfriend and I have ever had. We'll see you again in one month!! Looking forward to trying out the November menu. Keep that two top by the window open for us!!

I’ve been to six different 3 Star Restaurants in Germany, Opus V is definitely worthy of 3 Stars! Out of this world food: modern, often with Japanese influences, amazing quality. Great service as well. Very cool place. So far Christian Bau was my favorite restaurant in Germany, but I found my new number one.

An amazing meal by Chef Tristan Brandt where he presented a mixed of Asian and French cuisine. The flavours and food was amazing but the service could be improved. Our server had insisted to serve the first Amuse Bouche before she had taken our order. Since the Amuse Bouche required both hands to eat and drink them, having a menu on our laps was rather clumsy. Overall, the ambience and the flavours of the food was incredible and definitely value for money.

A great Michelin star restaurant in the center of Mannheim. Low-key on the inside and outside. Great service by most of the staff. The food was great. Will go again. We had the menu, unfortunately there is not a wine menu that accompanies it (for lunch, at least).

Excellent meal from beginning to end. A creative amuse gueule (creme brulee of four gras), one of the best halibut dishes I have eaten (with a beurre blanc flavoured with woodruff) to a perfect dessert. Wonderful. Very attentive service, although they in the end overcharged us (5 courses instead of four), so check your bill.

Cozy place close located to Mannheim central station. We went to the Michelin Lunch for 150€ (with two additional a la carte orders) for two persons, which is an okay pricing. The service is distant, but attentative. Doblers serves french-german cusisine, highlight was an excellent foie gras, any dish with quality ingredients, good textures, but nothing surprising, just classic good food. In Mannheim, a good way to invite your grandmother or your parents when they are visiting you ;)

Excellent restaurant! There are only praises for this place. First off, service was amazing. The waiting staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the restaurant is calm, well designed, clean and as modernly Japanese designed as possible. Table layout, furniture and placements were well thought out. The toilet of the restaurant was absolutely spotless. They even provided toiletries like mouthwash, toothpicks and floss, hand cream, contact lens solution, perfume (for women) or body sprays (for men). The food was excellent, tasted great, well plated and worth the money paid for. Yes, this place has above average pricing. But it is worth the food, service and ambiance. High hopes that they'll keep up the wonderful standard, service and taste. Most definitely a highly recommended restaurant to drop by.

(Updated) Best Japanese restaurant in Mannheim! I went there quite often, once with 6 other people so we had a special group room (sit on the floor with pillow, it seems just like in Japan😂), and the other 2 times just sit like normal on the tables. I have tried their Sushis, Ramen, Takoyaki and Don. From all of them I really liked Gyu Don and their Tartan Ramen. Japanese restaurant is always expensive wherever it is, so for me this one is also expensive but it‘s totally worth it. U guys really have to give a try! Unagi Bento is also a must try!

Dining at Senju is always a special treat for us. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is amazing as well (Tori No Karaage is my absolute favorite) the prices are definitely on the higher side but I promise you that you leave the restaurant with a happy tummy! But what makes the restaurant extra special is the attentive service. They are so kind and always make you feel welcome! The location is great too. You have a parking garage right in front of restaurant but you can easily get there by tram too, because it’s in the city. You won’t be disappointed spending your evening OR lunch here. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants here in Mannheim!

I had the Saltimbocca alla romana and Tartufo for desert, the others two different fish dishes, one with white asparagus and Panna cotta afterwards. Nevermind the veal, even the simple sides of carrot, potato and beans tasted better than any I've had in memory, I had the impression that every ingredient was of high quality and prepared well. The prices may be a little bit higher than average but I think you're definitely also getting something great in return. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food: 4/5 Spaghetti bolognese was a bit salty, but abundantly served with chunks of beef, very meaty. The panna cotta was very good, very balanced between the sweet white cream and sourness of the jam. Service: 4/5 Very good, attentive.

The food is ok in general, but I could taste a considerable amount of flavor enhancer in the food, most probably the monosodium glutamate - not too good for health, I guess. The serving was really big though, so you definitely would not starve in the next several hours.

My favorite asian restaurant hands down. It's really small, seating around 8-10 people at most but the food is great, especially for the price. However, what has me returning every time is the staff. The guy that will take your order most of the time is probably the nicest and most polite person I ever saw. He will greet you as you enter and he's always cheerful and has a smile to accompany his charm. Really great place.

We eat here in April 2025 and enjoyed it very much. Make sure to book a table well in advance. The staff were very friendly and happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. The Pad Thai delicious and the selection of starters we had too! Very happy to recommend.

(UPDATED) BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant I have found so far in Germany (okay at least in Rheinland Pfalz and Baden Württemberg region). I have been living in Bangkok for 3 months and in the meantime also traveled inside the country, so I know how does it really taste. So i really recommended people to come here and eat the real Thai Foods. It is lil bit outside Mannheim Quadrate so u have to drive bit inside Mannheim, but now they also have tables inside which is more comfortable and better all and all. Is expensive yes, but I can understand, they used the real Thailand products so they prolly need more expenses in the ingredients. So I totally okay with it😁 I completely recommend u to try their Som Tam (9/10), Frittierte Morning Glory (10/10) Knusprige Schweinebauch (9,5/10), Pad Thai (8,5/10), Yam Ped Yang (9/10), Miang Kham (9/10) and maybe if u come with ur friends or family u can try they mix platter so u can try many small dishes at the same time😋 Thai ice tea with milk (9,5/10) is also super recommended, it tastes just exactly like u would buy them from street vendors in Thailand🥹 I‘ve tried their Pad Krapao with duck as well (9/10) and the Prawns with tamarind sauce (9/10) i feel like everything is super delicious here, i could just come here everyday! Ah their dessert, the pea flower sticky rice with ice mango was also amazing (9/10) - make sure to share since it‘s quite a huge portion. Make sure to reserve a table especially during the weekend, and they only accept cash so don‘t forget you Bargeld home😆

You’ll never be disappointed by this Thai restaurant! I mean, it’s probably the best one I’ve ever eaten in Europe. It’s very traditional Thai food, spicy enough, can be a little bit sour though, but it’s like 8.8/10, I was very impressed I could find this restaurant in Mannheim, recommended to all of you who enjoys exotic cuisines.

If you like legit Thai Food, this is your choice! Soi 39 made me homesick, made me miss Bangkok. I grew up in Thailand and this place brought back memories. Not only is the food superb and none of this “pretend” Thai food. The food is like what I’d get at a good place in Thailand. It’s legit 🏆😍🇹🇭 We had the Moo Krob (fried pork with dipping sauce) + Pad Thai Gai (pad thai with chicken) + Gaeng Keow Waan Gai (green curry with chicken) and every single dish was authentic. The green curry was slightly spicy, nicely flavoured with tasty pieces of chicken and real Thai eggplants, which are a rarity outside of Thailand. 🥘 The Moo Krob (crispy fried pork belly with dipping sauce) was spot on! Yes please. German pork prepared Thai style. 🐷 Pad Thai Chicken comes served on a hot plate with an egg omelette as a base. Usually i’ve got the egg ontop or chopped up into strips, this was a different take and very good! 🍗 Nice vibes from the owner/staff and the whole interior fuses together old school German with old school Thai and a hint of modern Thai (plastic carry case for condiments & plastic napkin dispenser). Even their bathrooms have items from Thailand on the wall. Delicious falafel and hummus, would highly recommend! Wish I ordered the Nabati Plate instead of the Falafel plate to try everything, but the falafels were perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, spiced interior. The restaurant was casual but well presented.

I had the Nebati-Teller and it was hands down good to the last bite. Only 8,50€ for an amazing meal. I traveled an hour by train and 20 minutes by foot and I will be doing it again! Very impressed!

We had a booking issue at another restaurant close by so had to come up with a last-minute idea while visiting Manheim. We are lucky that we found this beautiful little spot super close to the Rhine River with great service and delicious food. We didn’t have reservations so they accommodated us as a walk-in at 7:30 PM. We were lucky to get the last table and are very happy that we did so. They specialize in traditional German food, and I would classify this place as a casual spot with a very homey feel. Pricing is also very fair. The menu has a lot of great options on it and the portion sizes are quite large. Being our first visit, we wanted to try some of the more popular dishes and went with our waitress’s recommendations for the entrée. To start I had the Beef Carpaccio, which was pretty good. Being that I’m Italian and I am very specific on this preparation and it wasn’t quite as delicious as some other versions I had in France during this trip, but still, I really enjoyed it and I’m happy that I ordered it. For my entrée I chose the Die Metzgerei Cordon Blue, which is two schnitzels, in between hearty ham and cheese. It came with a side salad and honestly, I couldn’t even finish all of it. The flavors were great, it just was a lot of food and I got through about 80% of it. We did not leave hungry and we really had a nice meal. I would recommend to anyone visiting Manheim and would stop in again next time I’m in town.

Really good brunch with different alternatives, plenty of food and a good and wide selection of drinks. My cappuccino was nearly cold and we did not like the sparkling wine - sorry! As the restaurant is by the river you can have a picnic basket and eat on the fields in front of the river. You can also sit outside, the weather allowing.

We arrived without a reservation! We were given a table, our order was taken quickly, and within 15 minutes we were already having lunch. Everything was very tasty. Thank you for your understanding and the pleasant smiles of the employees!

Update: food still 5/5 I got to try the breakfast setup (the Paris one), very nice! Salmon was my fav, and then the small portions but abundance choices would fill you up in the end. The other thing i tried was their autumn specials. A pumpkin aperitif was okay. But the pumpkin flammkuchen was amazing. My friend also got the rouladen and said it was one of the best meal he had. Food:5/5 I ordered the lasagna bolognese (got myself a box of salad since it was a lunch time promo) and a slice of Frankfurt crown cake. The lasagna was superb, i liked it. Good portion, meaty bolognese, consistency of the the tomato as well as the bechamel sauce was great, and on the bottom there was this crusty layer, i would guess it involved some cheesy layer - wow, me likey. The Frankfurt crown cake was great, at first i thought it was too sweet but not really when you got the jam layer, it was pretty well balance. The buttercream was light, and the nut layer was great. Will try for other menu later in the future. Service: 5/5 It was quick and to the point. I can see that they were quite busy, despite the pandemic situation, which was a good signal for them. On my visit, there was a lady who seemed to be a regular and the staffs were greeting her politely, super nice. I tried to make an order in german but maybe my german was unrecognizable that the owner just switched to english 😂 but i think the positive side is that the foreigners can rest assured they can converse in english easily here.

Very nice, just outside the pedestrian area. There are enough seats, and the preparation of the food is enough fast. The only inconvenient is that for the pasta you have to queue up and waiting at the desk until everything is ready, while for the pizza and the lasagne you can wait at your table. Anyway the quality is not bad, and the price acceptable.

It was my first visit back after a long, long time—probably since pre-COVID—and I had fond memories of a more vibrant atmosphere. The pasta is still decent (I’d rate the food a 3.5), but unfortunately, the overall vibe was a bit off. The service felt unwelcoming, and the staff didn’t seem particularly happy—maybe due to stress or pressure, I’m not sure. The energy in the space just felt low, and it lacked the warmth I remembered. I truly hope Vapiano considers reinventing its experience in the coming years. There’s definitely potential, but the atmosphere (which I’d rate a 2) and service (a 3) need a refresh to match the quality of the food.

We’ve been to a bunch of different Vapianos, and honestly, the experience really depends on which one you go to. This particular Vapiano was decent. Nothing terrible, but also nothing that really wowed us. When we went, the place was basically empty, we were the only ones there. Still, the food took quite a while to come out, so we’re guessing they might’ve been understaffed. That said, the food itself was actually pretty good. Nothing super special, but solid. As with all Vapianos, there’s plenty of seating and the open kitchen setup is nice, you can watch your food being made right in front of you, which is always fun to see. So yeah, overall a decent experience. Not amazing, not bad, just a chill place to grab some pasta or pizza if you’re nearby :)

Is there any rules particularly regarding what age can order a kid‘s meal??? My daughter and her friend (14 years old) were shopping around Mannheim Quadrat and wanted to eat at Vapiano. But since they were not that hungry, one of them ordered a kid meal. The staff was extremely rude. Requested and asked them not to order a kid meal since they don’t look like a kid. The poor attitude definitely ruined the meal time. Vapiano, please kindly train your employee to serve customer with respect. A long term customer is gone for the rest of their lives.

It's vapiano. If you been to one you know the concept. The difference with this one is that they seems to be easily overloaded, both in the chef department and the cashier department. We visited at around lunch so around rush hour and had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. We sat at a table next to the single cashier and it seemed that there was almost always at least one person waiting in line to pay. The food though was excellent as always.

Awesome place to eat, especially with somebody. The interior is beautiful and full of plants and a nice view of the water tower. The food is very tasty and a good price, the only problem is the que line. You have to walk up and order food and they make it on front of you so it makes the line a long wait during the main eating hours. The form of payment is different of you are not used to it also. Whole they cook your food you scan the card they give you when you enter the restaurant and you pay with it when you leave. Overall, it's a relatively cheap, tasty, and stylish dining experience.

Delicious food and fast service. We were dining in the evening while the restaurant was full. We expected to wait a longer for our food but it only took a short time. The dishes were all tasty and rather large portions. I had the pig knuckle which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sides could have been a bit nicer presented. But the overall experience was great.

Great typical German food. Everything was delicious— sausage, liver, pork shanks and Pom frits. Draft beers get a 10. Highly recommend.

The Alter Simpel has been around as long as I can remember, my father was a guest there. I do owners have changed over the decades, but the restaurant hasn't, and that is a good thing. The food is solid German fare and consistently good. Don't expect fancy nouvelle cuisine here, but if you are looking for down-to-earth German food, you have come to the right place.

It is a good Buffet place. They have a lot of variety in sea food, although they could also increase the variety of food other than sea food. Dessert and drinks are good. Good to visit if you have a good appetite.

We decided to visit this place accidentally while visiting the rnv office besides. As it was lunch time and they are known for their buffets we tried the same. We tried almost everything from soups, starters and main course and were pretty delighted with overall experience. Loved their sauces too.

I like open buffet,and I was in many asian restaurants , but this was the worst . The food was absolutely not good and taste the same wether it is fish ot chicken!!! The sushi 🍣 looks like and tastes like everything but sushi!! We visited The East few days ago. We were quite skeptical regarding what will they serve for 13 euro. Believe me, we were amused looking at the variety of food. Must go. They offer sushi, salad, chicken, duck, prawns, variety of veg products, sauce The ambience was just awesome.

My visit to this place was quite positive. The price was compared to the Asian restaurants in my country very fair for more than big enough portions of good quality. I did not take a Buffet as I already ate enough during lunch but the food was good!

Overall, very nice experience! The venue is on the ground floor, has terrace. Inside is not packed, quite cost and comfortable seating. Service is very quick and friendly. A big team is on the floor to serve the guests. Eis Spaghetti was good, as you would expect from a signature dish. Yes, probably, a bit overpriced but that's to be expected - it's their headliner and a part of history :) Overall, very satisfied!

Legend has it that the speghetti eis was invented here and it is very delicious here. Also try cassatta ice cream here. The staff is really nice and mainly accepts cash as payment method. I think they do accept card payments over a specific amount.

I was surprised to see that this place has low rating. We ordered spaghetti ice and it came quickly, nicely served and tasted indeed good 👍 Also tea, coffee and lasagne came quick, served with love and pinch of chic. I ordered a Weinschorle, which was the worst I had in my life. It had very little wine in it and tasted awful. For main course, when I saw it I lost appetite. The portion was small like Vorspeise. It was even not hot but just warm and tasted ok. And of course, ridiculously it cost 17.5 €. It’s the last time I’ll ever go there!!!

The pizza tasted great and was a generous size. You can order via app from your table or head to the counter to place your order. It's a huge restaurant but it was rather empty when I visited and was lacking in atmosphere. I wondered how loud it might be when it's busy due to the size of the place.

The pasta and pizza were very nice but the starters, avocado salad and anti pasti were'nt good at all. You can have 5* meals here! The start was tragic like a Puccini opera. Bruschetta with tomatoes so poor, I looked for a place to give them my loose change. The bread base is like the bread served with the meal...just not the real deal, and the real deal is spectacular..be a good idea to aerve some olive oil with the bread. The seafood salad fared a little better, and the veggie plate cared for in olive oil and hey, the vegetables in Mannheim are not Sardinian, and they did the best they could. The pastas fared much better. The dumplings quite light and simple as you'd wish. Again, the potatoes needed to be much better to take the flavours south to their home. And you can get better potatoes here, especially now. The spaghetti with truffle was beautiful. Ok, at €29 you're not going to get great truffle, and it was ok. But the pasta was cooked so well, the sauce really balanced and as pretty as the women walking the Costa Smeralda themselves. The waiter was so agreeable, I almost asked him to do my homework for me. Until I realised I'm 61 and have no homework to do...apart from this review. The place is lovely enough, but the seats needed repadding...about 2 years ago.

Costa Smeralda in Mannheim offered a solid meal overall. My pasta was good in taste and the Crème Brûlée for dessert hit the spot. The portions, especially for the pasta, were just okay. Not small, but definitely not generous either. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. However, the menu lacked variety, especially strange was that almost every single pasta dish included mushrooms, which felt a bit limiting if you're not a fan (which I’m not). Still, not a bad stop, but a bit more diversity would go a long way.

Rather on the pricey side, but excellent food and service. We were very welcomed and treated with kindness and respect. We brought our little dog and they were flexible with her, bringing some water for her as well. The food was excellent. No complaints. Didn’t take pictures because we ate it eagerly.

Carefully chosen menu, among others meals we had caccioucco with fresh, well cooked and seasoned fish soup, that was melting in a mouth. Tiramisu was also amazing, with firm and airy cream. Service is attentive, yet not intrusive. Definitely place to come when craving for great Italian cuisine and hospitality.

Restaurant Costa Smeralda is for sure and one of the best in Mannheim. For us Sport people brilliant. We can eat 3 delicious courses and not feel stuffed. The Antipasto Lobster alla Catalana is brilliant.

One of my all time favorites in Mannheim! Perfect place to hang out with your friends and enjoy some good food and drinks. Food options are mostly savory and always taste good! Portions are pretty big. So really, one plate should be enough for most people. Prices have gone up over the last years but it’s still very affordable. Service is friendly but can be a bit slow when the place is full. Several vegetarian and vegan options available 🌱

Very nice location and really good food. If you’re looking for a cozy place for German food with a super beautiful location, this is the one. Thr waiters are friendly and saw that i dnt speak German, he was offering to translate already what’s on the menu and what’s not. The Schnitzel with fries are a classic must have and their sausage salad. 😍 i would come back here often for sure!

Certainly a very nice location and a good selection of food and drinks in their Biergarten and in their restaurant where more and more sophisticated dishes are available. Service is slightly confusing as quite a lot staff is hanging around and they have clear responsibility that guests can't be aware of and this can cause some frustration and additional waiting time. Also they are more on the pricey side. However for a quick bite and a drink you can't go wrong here.

Hidden restaurant on the top of a music academy in Jungbusch. We got there late on a Wednesday evening and even though the kitchen was about to close, they were kind enough to seat us and let us order anything and everything from the menu. We got the Safran risotto and the baked Blumenkohlsteak with an aperol spritz and a negroni. The food was good but what really set apart the place was the ambience and the hospitality of the place. The vibe is very laid back but elevated at the same time in a very non-pretentious way, which I really enjoyed.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and some of the best service I've ever had. Really can recommend the goose! About fifteen minutes from Mannheim Hauptbahnhof by foot. Finding a parking space is a bit tricky though.

They also had a variety of sushi options, desserts, drinks. The staff seemed friendly, ambience was good. The pricing was also good. Suggestion- if you don’t like too much oil or are pure veg or vegan then this place will not please you because they have too much oil in everything.

Chinese restaurant with buffet dining. The buffet spread is quite decent, but the additional dishes we ordered were actually quite good especially the steamed fish. As a Chinese Malaysia, the taste is similar to many Chinese resraurants that we have been to before around Asia.

Missing Chinese food for a week since we have been here, we researched and found this Chinese restaurant next to Luisenpark (an over rated park which charges 7.50 per pax!). Buffet during weekdays start at 11.30pm, and has a wide variety of fresh & tasty food! Even higher end foods like salmon sushi, beef, prawns, fried fish & gyoza can be found here. A satisfying meal at reasonable 10.95 euros pricing. 0.5 litre beer costs extra, 4.90 euros.

I was sat outside and waited 15- 20 minutes but no one came to take my order/ bring a menu etc so I left. First Restaurant in this year's visit of Mannheim and cannot complain. The prices are VERY fair for the quality of food and portions you get. The food was good and the portion was big. Cannot really complain. I was actually surprised by how big my lamaçun was! Which is of course positive.

I like this place for its clean and bright atmosphere and because it's not as busy as the other restaurants around. The food is only ok, probably the main reason for the fact that it's not as busy. Service was friendly and prompt but the lamb kebab was small and not very flavorful for 20 Euro. My friend had the Döner Teller which was ok. He didn't care for his thinly sliced the meat was. Overall it's a nice place but the food is only ok.

It also has a big space for kids, and very nice clean restrooms.. highly recommended!

Anytime I am in Mannheim I make sure to visit Olympia. The food is outstanding, portions are huge and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are extremely kind and even though I don’t speak German, they were very patient and polite while I stumbled through my order. You also get an after dinner Greek yogurt topped with honey and a ouzo shot to finish off your meal. Did I mention the very reasonable prices? The location is also fairly convenient from the tram line #1 if you get off at Karlsplatz. Definitely get dinner here and see for yourself.

Bestellung funktioniert telefonisch, sowie online auf der Webseite, bei der mit Paypal bezahlt werden kann. Extra Versandkosten kamen in meinem Liefergebiet nicht zustande und der MBW lag bei 20€. Die Lieferung traf an einem Samstag nach einer Stunde ein und der Lieferant war sehr freundlich. Insgesamt finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wirklich top, da die Gerichte geschmacklich abliefern und gleichzeitig zu einem fairen Preis angeboten werden.
