German restaurant
Lumen is a popular dining spot located near Marktkirche in Wiesbaden's Marktplatz. It offers a diverse menu and provides a perfect setting for people-watching. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its central location and beautiful views. The friendly staff, timely service, and accommodating nature of the waiters have been highlighted in reviews. While some dishes received mixed feedback, others such as schnitzel and burgers were highly recommended.
This was the best dining experience I've had after traveling to Frankfurt, Cologne, Enschede, and Amsterdam for 3 weeks. The food was beautifully presented and you can taste the quality. Claudia was an attentive and accommodating server. She suggested a local Riesling that was amazing. I was disappointed they ran out of fish when I got there so she suggested the fried tofu, which is something I normally don't order as a meat eater. It was SO GOOD! And the whole 3-course meal was only 19 Euro (available until 2:30 PM). I was so happy with my experience I came back again today for lunch. Claudia remembered me from yesterday and knew that I wanted the fish. She also remembered that I preferred my espresso as decaf. She recommended a different local wine, a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, that was a perfect pairing with my fish. This is a must-try restaurant for their high quality beautiful food, outstanding service, and great view. Thank you for your warm hospitality and kindness, Claudia. I hope you are well appreciated by your managers and they give you a raise ❤️‍🔥

Right in the heart of Wiesbaden you will find Lumen a wonderful restaurant and bar. We had a good meal at lunchtime two meals from the quick lunch menu which is a fixed price meal within a lunchtime slot and two meals from the regular menu. The service was very good and the food was super. The amenities were clean and there is plenty of seating both within and on the sunny terrace.

Nice food and nice employees. I didn’t like the truffle pasta so I wouldn’t recommend that. They did take it off my check which I really appreciate. The Snitzel and burger were really good. Definitely recommend this place!! We will be coming back :).

Food was good. The staff were good. Toilets clean.

This is a great bar in the centre of weisbaden for a drink or food. Prices are not cheap but if is a rich part of Germany. Great patio and chilled out music to listen to.

I am in Germany, visiting my sister in Weisbaden, today we came to the city center, I had a lot of expectation because as we are Latin people, I generally did not know if this tourism was pleasant here. I must confess that they have treated me very successfully and kindly. We went to eat this beautiful restaurant. with my nephews who are very naughty and the customer service is excellent excellent excellent they helped us at all times and the restaurant is very cozy if menu is of dishes I definitely recommend 5 star cuisine typical Germany and Hungary with Mediterranean flavor fusion, Large portions and great a menu to eat around € 110 for 4 people very well.
Paola P — Google review
Very well presented cafe, but quite pricey for even the basics “water”. Some of the staff I found quite nice but others rude, maybe just that one had a bad day . The atmosphere in head was nice be interesting in summer as outdoor aria looked interesting with old cable cars .
Rooftop C — Google review
Our waitress was friendly. The food was prepared and delivered in a timely manner. I chose the risotto from the seasonal menu, the risotto was a little on the salty side for my taste (others may enjoy that). The mean was accompanied with a basket of bread.

French restaurant
Nestled in the charming Spiegelgasse, CHEZ MAMIE Wiesbaden is a delightful eatery that captures the essence of French cuisine with a local twist. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with white tablecloths and an outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying their exquisite seafood platters and classic French dishes like fried veal sweetbreads and fish soup. Guests have consistently praised the attentive staff who create a welcoming environment, making each visit feel special.
Food was amazing and the atmosphere complemented it beautifully. The service was solid, and we celebrated a friend's wedding there—the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
Yasmine L — Google review
Nice place, waiters are nice and polite. Food was good, but not so french in our eyes. Service took forever though. We had oysters as Starters and a Main dish and our dinning experience took over 2 hours. PLUS POINT: they offer Gluten Free bread. But it's definitely not a place to go to if you're in a hurry. But ambience is nice, so if you have lots of free time, this is the place for you
S. A — Google review
We’re staying in a hotel very close, so we thought we’d go here. Great choice! We had five appetizers to share… each one delicious! And… the bartender is terrific… best whisky sour ever!! Highly recommended!
Craig P — Google review
What a huge disappointment. We got to the restaurant and there was no table prepared for us even though we had booked two weeks in advance. The French lady who received us was very unfriendly and unapologetic about it. She then tried to sit the five of us at a table for four before finally - after we said that this was not okay for us - she pushed another table over. It remained an awkward setup. If I book two weeks in advance I expect that there is a table ready, possibly even a good one.
Dominic B — Google review
The food was extremely salty, the duck was not edible. The sauce of the duck, the potatoes, the sauce, made our tongues numb. The foie gras was bad quality. The service was a impolite and a mess, they took our order twice, they didn’t let us try the wine just poured it. Waited 1,5hour for the food. Terrible terrible experience! Pretty interior, at last.
Daniel K — Google review
One of my favorite meals ever. I go back time and time again for the small chicken that’s oven roasted served w tsatziki and pomme frittes. Love the warm friendly service but the food. Everything I’ve picked off my friends plates have been amazing. Keep telling myself I’ll order something new next visit but I always go back the the cocoulette (not sure what it’s called in French). As an American subjected to horrible chicken, this is a game changer
Yoko T — Google review
Absolutely Delightful! The Freshness and Quality of the ingredients used comes through with every bite. Presentation is Top Notch. The convenience of being open Daily from noon is rapidly making this my "Favorite Spot" to pop in and enjoy a meal. Naturally, serving Sancerre by the glass is the icing on the cake for me!

Martino Kitchen is a culinary gem that beautifully blends Italian, Spanish, and Mediterranean influences with the quality philosophy of Germany's new generation of top chefs. Founded by Martino Stirn, who honed his skills in star-studded kitchens, this restaurant emphasizes regional and seasonal ingredients crafted with care. Known among insiders as one of the city's favorite dining spots, it offers a delightful experience for food lovers.
Made birthday dinner reservations for me and my mother here. We both got the 4course meal with a cocktail each and some wine later on. The food and drinks were very delicious and we were very pleased. It was all really fresh and tasty, didn't expect it to be so good. The dining and restroom area is very clean and well kept. The service was very kind and helpful. Will definitely come here more often. Recommend
Davi D — Google review
Food was really good. I had the Chef’s Carte Blanche 4 course meal for €60 and it was plenty of food. Not sure how I would’ve been able to eat the 5 course option. The Hugo spritz was delicious and the recommended red wine was tasty too. Starter was an avocado salmon tartare - really good. The shrimp and tomato pasta was amazing. 3rd course was a veal and broccolini dish and the dessert was decent too. I will definitely return on my next trip to Wiesbaden.

This is my and my whole family’s favorite place ever. We come here once a week. Food is soooo good! They change their set menu quite regularly and they have seasonal items as well. But they’re always and constantly good! Everything is always fresh and you have the finest ingredients and very good quality. Staff are also very professional and very friendly. You will always feel welcome here. They also have very good wine pairings. The chefs are also very talented and very creative. We also tried the chef’s table wherein all the courses are a surprise. It’s just great! Will always come here! Must be the best restaurant in Wiesbaden!

Best restaurant in Wiesbaden, hands down! All staff are super friendly, especially the one who reminds me of Jesse Eisenberg. ;) food is magnificent. I can tell the chefs really puts personal effort into each dish. I’d love to come back over and over again!

Located at a prime location in Weisbaden this restaurant is a great place to people watch. The service is very friendly. We showed up with a party of 11 and they immediately found space for us. The food was delicious and we ordered a bunch of different seafood dishes. Everyone really enjoyed their food. They also have this great dessert called Kunefe.

Fresh seafood. We love that they stop serving lunch at 2pm like so many restaurants in the area. Service is excellent. Food is delicious. Excellent fresh bread served with two sauces when you sit down. Visa accepted. Great experience. We will return
Mallena U — Google review
The wait staff were polite and very helpful. You can taste the freshness of the fish. The calamari tasted good to me, but a bit oily. Sitting outside ruined it for me. We thought it would be nice, which it was for a few minutes. It was crowded and loud, and inside, you were packed like sardines. See what I did there, anyway, it's an okay place. The prices were reasonable for what you get. I really didn't care for the homemade lemonade. It's definitely worth a try.

This is a "must" place when you come to Wiesbaden. The food is really tasty, the service is good, the waiters are very nice, polite and funny, the price is very good and not expansive, the place is clean and nest. It is a good bargain. I was surprised how tasty the food was. I would highly recommend it, but you should take into Account the fact that you usally have to wait in order to get a free table.

The staff's professionalism and friendliness contribute to a positive atmosphere, while the well-designed ambiance enhances the overall dining pleasure. A visit to Goldstein is a guarantee of good food and a memorable dining experience

I recently dined at Das Goldstein by Gollners and had an outstanding experience. The fine dining cuisine was exquisite, with standout dishes like fried chicken and a decadent dessert featuring ice cream and pancakes. What truly made our visit special, however, was the exceptional service. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that every need was met with precision. The venue itself is charming, with a warm atmosphere perfect for parties of all sizes. We appreciated the impeccable timing and courtesy of the staff, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our meal. The teamwork of the staff to meet guests needs is unmatched. I wholeheartedly recommend Das Goldstein by Gollners for special occasions or simply a night out with friends and family. With its excellent service, fine dining cuisine, and inviting atmosphere, it's an ideal spot for any celebration. Located in Wiesbaden, Germany, Das Goldstei

Zachary M — Google review
(Translated by Google) Wonderful location, excellent cuisine - with a few teething problems in the service The Goldstein is beautifully nestled in the forest - quiet, stylish and pleasantly secluded from the hustle and bustle of Wiesbaden. The generous parking options and the natural surroundings also make it a nice destination for families. Particularly great in summer when children want to get some exercise outside - even when the road is busy, you can keep an eye on everything. We had reserved a table for a small anniversary. Since our group had been reduced from four to three people at short notice, we unfortunately didn't receive a particularly warm welcome. A slightly snarky comment about the late information was not necessary - especially since it wouldn't have changed the table situation. It's a shame, because a friendly welcome makes a big difference. Our waiter also seemed rather distant at the beginning, but over the course of the evening he transformed into a friendly, communicative host. The later the evening, the more the other service staff began to smile - which, to be honest, was what we would have wished for right from the start. Kindness shouldn’t be a “late starter.” The evening was an absolute culinary highlight. The dishes were excellently prepared, creatively presented and tasted perfectly. Regional elements met modern, sophisticated cuisine - down-to-earth but with finesse. I would particularly like to highlight the Kaiserschmarrn: wonderfully fluffy, golden brown, luscious – in third place nationwide in our internal ranking! A small downer: Since I didn't make my main course, I had it packed. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that the mashed potatoes and the sauce - which I was particularly looking forward to - were unfortunately missing. If I had noticed it on the spot, I would of course have spoken about it. It was probably the packaging, but it's a shame for such a carefully prepared dish. Conclusion: The Goldstein is a wonderful place to enjoy. The cuisine is excellent, the ambience is special - with a little more warm service from the start, the evening would have been perfect all around. We would still love to come back.

(Translated by Google) We spent our anniversary today at Gollners. Unfortunately, our high expectations were largely not met. First about the ambience: The restaurant is a bit hidden in the middle of the forest, but it is beautiful. Both from the outside and from the inside. The service: Unfortunately, the service was the most disappointing part of our stay. The start was actually good, they took our jackets from us in an exemplary manner and served us straight away. Unfortunately that was it. Later I sat in front of an empty beer for half an hour, but unfortunately there was no question as to whether I would like another drink. Mind you, the restaurant was only moderately busy and there were enough staff. My friend actually wanted to eat the sliced meat, but she is pregnant and unfortunately she had to forego it due to the white wine sauce. When the waiter asked whether there was alcohol in the sauce, he simply said: “I can't help you with that, you know. Some people value being alcohol-free during pregnancy, others don’t.” At this point, I expect a restaurant of this class to provide an adequate alternative tip for another comparable meal that is prepared without alcohol. We then both decided on the cheese spaetzle. I could write more, but I don't feel like it at this point... This brings me to the food: We can now only speak for the cheese spaetzle, but unfortunately they were below average. A weak, watery, cheesy sauce. That's it. Portion size was okay. All in all, we would only recommend the restaurant to a limited extent (Original) Wir haben heute unseren Jahrestag im Gollners verbracht.

HENRICHS Restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like Lachs-Sashimi, fresh Tiroler Speck, and grilled steaks. The restaurant also boasts a bar called Bar Seven on the 7th floor of the building for post-dinner drinks with a stunning view. Guests have praised the tasteful decor and pleasant atmosphere. The attentive yet unobtrusive service has been highlighted as well. While some find it slightly pricey, many appreciate the high-quality food and friendly staff.
Excellent Quality Food and Service! Lovely place that gave us space. Great sincere staff! You can view the kitchen , the cooks look content the staff seems content and it really shows in the food and service... I almost hate to give this place a outstanding rating as it is PERFECT and I would hate to see it get over crowded! Wiesbaden has done well promoting the area around this Restaurant. I so hope that this continues to flourish for our next visit for a get away as i am so impressed with how this part of this city is. It reminded me how things used to be! I am particular how i like my food prepared and my wife and I were very impressed.! She grabbed me out of bed to drive to Wiesbaden for a concert where we Dined here and stayed in a wonderful hotel for a get away... I am not one to run to a big city... but this whole experience changed my mind-.. Henrichs is definitely a go to place in my book now.. Only note is the local wine price was a bit of a price...

Best place in Wiesbaden - must got to restaurant / bar! I really love that place. Great atmosphere and amazingly good service!
Nik W — Google review
Another “fine dining” room with the typically unimaginative German menu. This place serves absolutely nothing of interest on their menu. We had the fish dish in bland white sauce with vinegar drenched uncooked potato’s and a supposed “filet” that was as tough as shoe leather. The sommelier was in a filthy apron and stained white T-Shirt and knew nothing about wine. Their list was as basic as can be with two whites of renown and as many (if still immature) reds. They need to learn how to sell wine when it’s ready to be drunk. Especially their terrible Barolo selections. The service was done by the usual aging pretentious wannabes found in European dining rooms and were unpleasant and defensive when asked a question they could not answer. I am just glad I did not get sick from the stinky fish. There are better places in Wiesbaden but just barely as the fine dining scene in the old Hessian Principate is a dead scene.

BENNER's Bistronomie is a fantastic restaurant that offers an amazing dining experience. The Chateaubriand, a beautiful and delicious cut of meat, is one of the highlights. The truffle fries are also highly praised by customers. Unfortunately, one customer forgot their takeaway box in the car and felt disappointed. Overall, the atmosphere is great, both inside and outside with options for long evenings or relaxed afternoons.
One of The Best meals I ever had in a wonderful building with amazing service.

Overpriced restaurant. We have tried desserts and truffle pasta. The quality of food is okay, but overall, vegetarian dishes are not good. The food is named fancy on the menu, and ingredients look good, but it tasted less than average. I dont recommend it. There are plenty of other good restaurants around.

Delicious, relaxed fine-dining in a beautiful setting — one the best Spargel mit Wiener Schnitzel ever. Small, but well thought out menu, with an emphasis on seasonal and local ingredients. Highly recommended!

Wonderful meal for my daughter's birthday here. The Chateaubriand was one of the loveliest cuts of meat Ive ever seen (and tasted). She was enamoured with the truffle fries and despondent when we realized shed forgotten her takeaway box when we got back to the car. Great atmosphere, great meal.

Lovely outdoor area and atmosphere for eating, food served immaculately to order and very delicious. Getting wait staff in timely manner can be a challenge, but not horribly so. Will definitely return here.

I had the lentil soup, which was awesome. My husband ordered cognac, which was presented over warm water. Another guest with us had steak tartare prepared/ seasoned table side. Great atmosphere, warm and sofisticated. Customer service was emaculate.

Fine high quality food in an excellent location (the Casino). The staff is very helpful and charming. It’s beautifully decorated and all details are taken care of. Good value for money

The nicest place in Wiesbaden in my opinion. Have been here both during winter and summer months. Super cozy old school atmosphere inside when it’s cold and awesome patio during the warm times. Food is incredible! But the “Perfume Room” is my favorite. So much history. Great for special occasions or just romantic dinners.

Bootshaus Mainz is an attractive eatery situated by the Rhine river, boasting a modern glass-walled venue with a terrace. While technically not located in Wiesbaden, it is close enough to be considered. The Boothouse Beer Garden in Mainz offers a delightful experience with its picturesque setting and a menu that features steaks, schnitzel, currywurst, and other traditional German dishes.
The food was very tasty and all the staffs were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cosy and lovely and it’s got a nice interior. Would love to come again!

Atmosphere is the best. With a great view over the Winterhafen, great for sunset, outdoor spaces and beautifully decorated and full of light. Food was globally good but way too expensive for the quality. At this price we expected a higher level and got disappointed. Mainly for the 14€ dessert we did not even finish.as.the rum cream was highly questionable and wasting the rest of the apple pie.
Romeñ B — Google review
Do not recommend. The last visit to the place was far from good. And I actually found the restaurant rather underwhelming. The food was ok when we finally got it, but they made us wait for the order for more than an hour! There were no apologies or explanations till the issue was raised, and even after the head waiter came up, they worded the situation as if we were the ones to apologise. Neither the atmosphere in the restaurant nor the dishes can help the bad aftertaste of the experienced attitude.

A beautiful setting and great food. Sit on the patio, with views of the Rhine and local harbor. Very well prepared meal, and friendly service.

Top food in top riverview restaurant where you can enjoy exclelent food and watch the ships sail. Waiter Slim was the highlight of the evening interacting with us. Do get apple pie desert, it is the best!

This is great place to dine and spend time in. The vista, the Rhein alongside the outdoor seats and a nice, attentive service round out the small lunch menu that, with a bigger menu for dinner service. It’s great to meet, stop on your bike tour or just visit to enjoy the food and drinks.

A super location, we came spontaneous and got a place outside on a picnic table. Not full on a Sunday evening, gorgeous view. We also had wonderful weather. My husband had a typical local dish, "Hand Käse" and I ordered Tagliatelle. The food was disappointing, my pasta was rather strips of thick pancakes, and the other dish was a fast food version of the original. The price paid for the view and location. You would think that they could manage simple food, which wasn't the case. Good that we didn't attempt something more sophisticated. Still worth the experience...just keep your expectations low on the food.

One of the most lovely meals we have had in Germany this trip. Came here on a rainy Wednesday for lunch, SLIM, our server, took such good care of us and helping to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. The mussels were outstanding and the beautiful wine even better. Thank you so much for making this such a great experience.

Nestled just outside the vibrant city of Wiesbaden, Villa im Tal is a charmingly enchanting restaurant that has been captivating diners since its renovation in 2012. Set amidst lush woodlands, this historic half-timbered villa offers a unique dining experience with an inviting atmosphere, whether you're warming up by the crackling fireplace on chilly days or enjoying al fresco dining on the terrace when it's warm.
Dinner and music date with hubs. It was a 3 course meal package. Food was great, dessert was sensual (chocolate suffle & red wine) need I say more.?! Service was on point, piano music was also superb. Our waitress was Julie....just an awesome lady!! Will be going back again for sure. Note: English speaking staff.

Without question a truly fine dining experience. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself. The wine list is exhaustive with regional options. The food is prepared with great care — anything is a safe choice. The service is beyond expectations in Germany. Please go here. We went heavy on seafood and everything was cooked perfectly. Don’t miss the trout with crispy skin.

Aurum is a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Wiesbaden, where food lovers can indulge in some of the finest pizza and pasta Germany has to offer. Many visitors rave about their authentic pizzas, which are crafted with care and bursting with flavor. While experiences may vary—some have found certain dishes like gnocchi lacking depth—the overall dining experience remains enjoyable. The restaurant's atmosphere is enhanced by friendly and attentive staff who ensure that every meal runs smoothly, even for larger groups.
We had our work team Christmas dinner at Aurum last week & it was a success! The Aurum staff were all so friendly, kind, & attentive to our party of 13! Pizza and Pasta are always good. The prices are fair. The wines are great. We have tried many dishes and all were tasty. Service is good and Ambiente is nice. It might not be the fanciest 5 star restaurant but it is always very good and never disappoints!
Τριανταφυλλακι — Google review
The first time I went there over a couple of years ago, I enjoyed the food very much. This time around I enjoyed the starter but not the main course so much. The gnocchi lacked richness of flavour, whereas the pizza was good but I couldn’t enjoy it because I chose poorly the cheese which wasn’t to my taste buds’ liking. I would reiterate that the pizza itself was good... I do find their table setting to be a bit too crammed. A small table or two could be removed to make the space friendlier.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant Ente is an elegant and sophisticated dining establishment located in a high-ceilinged hotel. As the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Wiesbaden, it is popular among both locals and tourists, making it one of the top restaurants in Germany. The circular two-level restaurant features a frescoed cupola overhead, providing a luxurious ambiance for guests.
A fantastic meal. Wonderful staff that created a tasting menu to meet our taste. Quality ingredients and presentation. And quality wines. Worth every Euro
Ken M — Google review
sounds like a sublime melody There are places that stay with us throughout life — even if we haven’t set foot in them for decades. Die Ente was such a place for me: a name, an image from childhood, associated with special occasions, with quiet elegance, with something deeply admired before it could be fully understood. Now, decades later, I returned. And this visit became more than a dinner — it was an experience in which memory and the present met, not sentimentally, but clearly, precisely, and gently. A Room That Opens Like a White Piano What struck me first was the cocoon the dining room creates. It unfolded for me like the form of a grand white piano — bright, open, and harmonious. There is a deliberate rhythm to how the space is composed. The tables are placed like celestial bodies, orbiting in calm symmetry, with a balance that is more felt than seen. The charismatic, sophisticated staff move within this constellation not as conventional servers, but as part of the spatial composition — with quiet assurance, never intrusive, always present. A Pause, Even Without Time That evening, we didn’t have time for a full tasting menu — but that didn’t diminish the experience. On the contrary, choosing à la carte made it more focused, more intimate. The sublime risotto I ordered was seemingly simple, yet full of depth: gently aromatic, restrained yet perfectly calibrated, rich in flavor without overwhelming the senses. It didn’t try to impress — and that’s exactly what made it so compelling. A dish that didn’t perform, but spoke — softly, clearly, and with confidence. Hospitality as Relationship What I appreciated most was the way the house approaches service. When the trolley arrives — whether with cheese, digestifs, or sweets — it never feels ceremonial or staged. It is an invitation. A gesture of trust and hospitality. Etiquette here isn’t performance — it’s care. This form of service reveals a deep sense of respect: for the guest, for the craft, for the moment itself. It’s not about spectacle. It’s about relationship.Despite its refinement and elegance, Die Ente does not feel distant. On the contrary, it feels familiar — not because it hasn’t changed, but because it has evolved without ever losing its essence. The feeling of being welcomed doesn’t come from words, but from atmosphere, attentiveness, and a discreet, steady hand. This quiet, highly valued charm makes Die Ente more than a Michelin-starred restaurant. It is a place where you, as a guest, feel seen, understood, gently cared for. Where memory and the present don’t clash, but resonate. A restaurant that remains true to itself — and for that very reason, can be discovered again and again, each time anew.

Overall great experience. Maitre d’ was welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable with menu choices. Also catered towards allergies which was great. Able to choose between 4-7 courses from the tasting menu. Each course was different in style and flavour but complimented each other fairly well. The pumpkin cake desert was my favourite. Sommelier was very friendly and made it easy to pick a nice wine for each course. Service overall was great and made us feel comfortable.
Mark B — Google review
Been there for my girlfriends birthday. We had the 4 courses menu (95 €) We choose to have the menu served with corresponding wines, selected from the local sommelier. This was a big mistake. For three glasses of wine we were charged 65 € each, the price was not mentioned on the menu, we didn't expected so much (our bad, we didn't asked before..), besides, one of the wine didn't really match the food. Other than that, the food was good, well prepared and nicely served, but that's it. Nothing memorable or worth to give the restaurant another visit. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Maybe the tables could be a bit more spaced.

If you're in Wiesbaden and looking for a place that offers a wide selection of breakfast options, ALEX Wiesbaden is the perfect spot for you. They have a rich breakfast buffet with traditional items like pancakes, pastries, coffee, juices, and fresh fruit. Additionally, they offer classic French breakfast options as well. The restaurant also serves savory meals in large portions and delicious drinks for dinner.
First time here, with two friends, had schnitzel for dinner and some local beer. The food is really good, and portions are big! Prices are normal and acceptable. Service was very good too, they all spoke English. We didn’t have to wait long even though the place was fairly full. Highly recommended
Bojan K — Google review
Desserts and drinks are the only things that I have purchased from "Alex," so this is just to preface my review that it doesn't cover the majority of the meals. While it's only a select few items I've tried, I have gone there countless times, and every time was excellent. I'd usually come here right after dinner from another restaurant. I was told by a server that I could sit wherever I wanted, and I usually went upstairs where there was less people and more intimate. The servers spoke fluent English, and were attentive to my table. I tried a variety of their alcoholic drinks, with my favorite being the "Swimming Pool." As for dessert, I loved their churros, strawberry cheesecake, and red velvet cake. Sometimes the cake tasted a bit too grainy and old, which is likely from it sitting in a glass cabinet on display. This has happened enough times that it was a pattern, and dampened my experience a little bit. The drinks on the other hand? Always perfect. If I wasn't in the U.S now, I'd still be visiting, "Alex" to end my evening on a high note.
Jennie I — Google review
From my balcony, I frequently observed Alex, a consistently busy restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and a comprehensive menu. Intrigued, I decided to dine there for dinner. One notable feature was the availability of a breakfast buffet, a detail I appreciated. The restaurant also thoughtfully provides English menus, which significantly eased communication and eliminated the need for numerous inquiries about unfamiliar dishes. Our waiter was initially very attentive, promptly taking our order and checking on us. However, obtaining the bill proved to be a bit of a wait. While this might have been due to him allowing us ample time to finish, we did find ourselves waiting longer than expected. The restaurant itself exudes a cozy and quaint atmosphere, and remained bustling throughout my visit. While I personally wasn't particularly fond of the dish I ordered, I sampled other menu items and found them to be quite delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Alex. I would definitely recommend it and plan to return to try other dishes. The restaurant's consistent popularity and thoughtful touches, like the English menu, make it a worthwhile destination.

We had a good meal here nothing overwhelming but good, my pizza bread was still doughy inside and the vegetable china style dish consisted mainly of onion’s and soybeans and no other veggies. Its so pity because the staff are so friendly and helpful and the drinks are great and maybe the other dishes are better but two failing dishes in one sitting isn’t my ideal. It’s my money and your money at the end of the day! Overall I would like to try it again but something else maybe a burger 🍔

Been in Wiesbaden over 3 years and the 1st time going to ALEX, the atmosphere was cool, we were able to sit wherever we wanted, very comfortable chairs. The herb butter that was on top of my steak was not melting which means that the steak was not warm enough for it to melt. The baked potato was completely covered in sour cream (at least it wasnt dry), my wife's chicken ceaser wrap had probably 4 pieces of chicken in it total, my son said his burger was just "good" he's 10 and the fries were ok. The server was pleasant.

Food was good for our evening but we expected a bit more friendlier services esp from the boss (his photo was on their homepage so you know) who the whole evening was trying to please the guests from his home country and didnt even try to greet the other customers in the same room. The waiter who “welcomed” us did not smile at all and told us he would come back as we entered while his friendlier colleague promptly pointed us to a table. Well, we didnt expect this service for a €200 dinner for two (without even opening a bottle)! Maybe only for regulars. Then so be it.

Was hoping for a great find as we live within walking distance. The food was very good, however the staff barely attended to us and was very snobbish. Felt very uncomfortable here due to the staff behavior. Our waiter spent more time smoking outside than serving. The other downfall is that everything is overpriced for very small portions. Will not go back again.

An AMAZING place. I've lived in the city for 8yrs and only recently discovered this place. An outstanding outside environment... there was fresh BBQ prawns and live music of a double bass and piano... in the garden... however they got that there. And best of all; a sweet and well equipped playground. Prices are fair for excellent quality. Reservations recommended as its quite the spot. Also parking is tight too as its well sought after. I will be back.

German food has a bad rap for being bland and heavy on the wurst. Maybe this is true for fast food, but definitely not for fine dining. I am always blown away and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to North America. I started with a garlic soup that had some green in it they couldn't translate. It was very rich and tasty. It had a trout samosas with mustard on the side. For the main I had schnitzel with cranberry sauce, sliced potatoes fried with bacon and a cucumber salad with yogurt and dill. Big portion and very good. My wife had Pickerel (which they translate wrong as pike perch?). It was fresh and didn't have that earthy taste that I dislike with some Pickerel. Beautiful setting and great service.
Ben A — Google review
It started well with attentive service and warm welcoming and ended quite disappointing... One soup was forgotten (?) we had to wait 15min. for it, the other was way too salty with literally one ravioli in it. I understand it is a starter but still costs 10€ for a broth with one ravioli! Main dish was very good. Then we asked for more water and never got it, dessert for 15€ was basically café gourmand but with no coffee, yet overdried chocolate brownie/gingerbread... In the end, there are better restaurants in Wiesbaden in this price range.

Excellent meal and top notch service. Cut my lamb with a butter knife. Goat cheese salad and wintersalat starter - innovative and would get either again. Veggies with main dish superb - possibly indicative of a good vegetarian option (don't remember what was available). Only negative was my wife thought her tuna (catch of the day) was overcooked. Large portions - will return.

We were in Landhaus Diesert as a preparation for our wedding to check if food was good. We already saw it from outside and inside-it is very beautiful, the trees make the terrace elegant. The food we ordered appeared to be great. The waiters are very friendly. We were lucky to get the date for our wedding. The owner Diedert met with us to go through the plan and gave us valuable suggestions. When we realised how picky Diedert was with the service, food and timing, we were reassured that we made a right choice- a person with such high expectations to his work would make everything as he promises it to be. On the wedding day Diedert himself was serving as well and was controlling the whole procession. He can step back if you want to, but he is on top of what he delivers. Food on that day was brilliant, service was great. We could write a long essay, but in three words: it was superb.

Ristorante Girasole im Nerotal is a refined and elegant Italian restaurant located at the edge of Nerotal park in Wiesbaden. The menu offers innovative and varied choices, complemented by an extensive wine selection. The outdoor seating area provides a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery. The service is highly professional and friendly, making it suitable for family dinners or events.
We had a lovely dinner with friends here. Everything on the menu was really interesting so we shared a lot of our courses to try out many things. Great friendly service, super nice atmosphere in the outdoor seating area. Loved the pasta and fish as well as the desserts. Would recommend highly to anyone, also very good value for money in my opinion!

My favorite Italian Restaurant in Wiesbaden. It's family-owned and operated. Food is delicious, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, service is outstanding, check out this restaurant!

Service was excellent and the food was good. I wouldn’t say it was the best Italian I’ve ever had though. The price is a bit high but the ambiance is nice and quiet.

My friends hosted a small wedding celebration dinner there and it was awesome. The service was extremely attentive and the food was excellent. Some highlights were the arancini, stuffed mushrooms, seafood salad and the best of all - beef filet with parmasean crust. The beef was cooked perfectly. We had a private room in the back, but the rest of the restaurant is charming with a lovely terrace. It's also right across from the Nerobergbahn, which is a water powered train bringing you to the top of the Neroberg for some beautiful views before or after dinner.

Refined & elegant, this is the best Italian restaurant in Wiesbaden. The mixed salad & scampi were both succulent -- panacotta perfect. Service is attentive & kind.

Food in this place is excellent. Menu is always changing, innovative and rich in choice, as well as the wine menu. Everything is very elegant and relaxing, the whole atmosphere. In front there is a beautiful terrasse, surrounded with green, and the location is just perfect. Above all, service is highly professional and friendly.

I was not very impressed with the food. The dish I had tasted like it had a mix of cheddar cheese and nacho cheese. Service was good and they were very accommodating. A bit pricey, paid 65€ for 2 people. Both of us had this same dish, one sweet wine, one soda, one desert, and an appetizer to share. You can pay with Euros or Card. Not a very great place to bring your kids along.

Cafe Del Sol is the ideal destination when the weather is clear and the day is pleasant. The cafe boasts stylish decor and an inviting ambiance, offering a variety of traditional German dishes, as well as popular favorites like pizza and burgers. Additionally, patrons can indulge in delicious coffee beverages and delectable desserts. For those exploring the city, Cafe Del Sol is a must-visit spot to savor a cappuccino while observing people and enjoying the day.
This cafe is in a perfect location. It has a great atmosphere and an appealing food menu. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced. Additionally, the drink and wine selection is excellent. It can get quite busy, so it may take some time to place your order. However, the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you're in this beautiful city that still exudes old German charm, this cafe is a must-try!

Nice enough location, drinks were fine. Service horribly slow and not well resourced at all - nowhere near enough staff. Took us mpre than 30 minutes to try and get someone's attention to pay the bill and the bar staff inside were just ignoring everyone.
Sam — Google review
It’s my small family’s go-to place whenever we want to go out for a bite and don’t want to spend futile time and energy looking around for vegetarian food. Their selection isn’t the biggest, but it’s a decent one to choose from. The food, for us, always has been above average – never terrible as some of the other reviews tend to suggest. I once tried their supposedly homemade iced tea, which I didn’t like. Since then I stick to fizzy drinks. If I could, I would rate the food and beverages 3 stars. The 4-star rating is there to represent their rather friendly service in this land of no service, and the ambiance. The restaurant has very well done interiors and a large outdoor space which is great in summertime. The location, which is just outside of the city centre, is also good and rather easily accessible. It’s also a decent spot for breakfast...if you’re fortunate then probably with sun shining on your table near some of the top floor windows. :-) EDIT: They no longer serve breakfasts other than buffet and 2 mini croissants, which is a bummer. Looks like we won't be going there anytime soon for that purpose. EDIT: The Asian bowl was a good idea, but ended up being a prime example of how easy it is to mess up food.

I had a super cup of coffee here recently a week after the restaurants were allowed to reopen after covid restrictions. The seating area was generous and luckily I was outside and the weather was good. To see the menu card you'll need to scan a QR code on the table and then read the choice on your mobile phone.. a little complicated but a safe alternative. The service was knowledgeable and friendly.

Little Italy is a hidden gem in Wiesbaden, tucked away from the bustling main Italian street. This charming restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere with attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The menu features classic Italian starters like light salads, hearty minestrone, and delicious bruschetta, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. Guests rave about their meals here; one couple enjoyed black pasta with shrimp in lobster sauce and Angus steak—both dishes were exceptional!
We ate here this evening as an early walk in. The food and service were amazing. It was our first time to the restaurant. The waiter explained the menu and specials board after asking if it was a first visit there. Thanks us for coming and offered recommendations. The food was so delicious. Great portions, great price and a very comfortable and welcoming environment. We did sit inside, in the center of the restaurant. Without a reservation on a Sunday night during the Christmas market, we did have a time limit to sit at the table bc there were later reservations. It was no problem to eat during the time and we did not feel rushed. We enjoyed the Ossobuco little Italy style, the pasta with truffles and shrimp inside it's own edible cheese wheel and some mozzarella and tomato salad. The complimentary bread wth salt oil and tapanade (of sorts) was equally as delicious and a welcome starter addition. Highly recommend dining here while on a visit to the area.

This restaurant a pleasant surprised for dinner with my wife and some friends. It’s away from the main “Italian Street” in Wiesbaden but it’s probably the best Italian food we’ve had here. I recommend making a reservation shaped of time because it gets super busy. We used the open table app and had no issues at all. My wife had the black past with shrimp in lobster sauce and I had the Angus steak. Both dishes were great. The servers are also very professional and nice. We will definitely go back again soon.

Little Italy lived up to its name and overall score. We had a salad as a starter (good mix, slightly oily dressing) that came with some bread (which was really fresh and tasty). The sea bass with parsley dressing, mashed potatoes and zucchini slices were all excellent. Portions good. White wine recommend by the house was full of taste and good match. 2nd glass wasn't cleaned thoroughly on the outside, but this is nitpicking. Pricing slightly above average (probably normal for 2025). Overall recommend.
Melcher D — Google review
My wife and I have been here a handful of times and it's always been a pleasant experience, so much so that I had to write a review. The wait staff are attentive and even read the menu to us (we're still working on our German), which they don't have to do by any means, but it is greatly appreciated and makes us feel valued as customers. The food and wine selection is always top. Last night I had the goose leg with gnocchi and it was divine. We will of course be back as always, but I just wanted to attest that this restaurant is a must-visit whilst in the downtown Wiesbaden pedestrian area. Grazie mille.

A very elegant restaurant right in the middle of Wiesbaden. We were able to get a last minute seat for lunch on a Saturday. The basic menu has a few offerings but the daily specials are vast. We had the monkfish linguine, red snapper, and Tomato carpaccio. All dishes were wonderful. Expensive but worth it.

We came here on Xmas day after going to the theatre over the road. We didn't know how long the theatre would take but it finished early and our reservation was 1.5 hours later, however Little Italy were able to accommodate us and let us have our table early. There was a reduced Xmas menu in play but the choices cover most people. They whipped up some pasta for our daughter even though it was not on the menu. Service is fast and efficient with friendly staff but not overbearing and constantly in your face which I appreciate. A small cosy restaurant. Would like to come back another time for the full menu.

Having lived in Italy for 4 years I had a desire for Italian. The food was fantastic…noodles were soft, huge pieces of truffle, even the bread was fresh. The waiter mistook my order but they quickly corrected it and were true gentleman about the error. There wasn’t even a reservation needed. I was so full I needed a cafe followed by a resentin! I would highly recommend this to any traveler!

A great dining experience in downtown Wiesbaden. They keep their kitchen open a little longer in case you are dining late. The food is amazing and the wine choices are really delicious. I dont know much about wine, but I really found that the Primitivo was perfect for dining and will look for it again. I am a very big fan now. This service was so humble and made me want to return here. Nothing but good times here, bravo!!

Hans im Gluck is a popular burger joint in Wiesbaden, known for its forest-like ambiance and trendy atmosphere. It is an ideal place to meet up with friends and enjoy a delicious meal. The menu offers a wide range of options, including vegetarian and vegan alternatives, making it suitable for different dietary preferences. While two out of three beers are non-alcoholic, the service is excellent and accommodating to English-speaking customers.
I've been to Hans im Glück a bunch over the years, and what I can definitely say, is that the quality of the food is still top notch. But sadly the sizes are much smaller. a portion of fries came on a huge plate which barely fit on the table, and now they come in small bowls.

I kinda like the way the place looks with all the cut trees everywhere, but not a fan of the bench type seats. The food was pretty good except the nachos, they were small not much dressing and just not worth the price. The service was fine, but it took about 50 minutes to come out with the nachos being the last thing. As far as going back, I would go back, but not if I have another choice.

It is located at a very convenient place and we didn't have to wait for very long to get seated. Waiters were friendly and helpful, and burgers tasted good. I liked their sweet fries and onion rings. I'm not a burger person, but I think those who like burgers should try out this place for sure.

A very nice location and lovely outdoor seating area to watch life go by with family and friends.. The service here is exceptional! I only went for a small side dish and a dessert with coffee because on the day I had a burger elsewhere...my fault because HiG has some really great looking concoctions..ah well next time! The fries were super and I could mix up my own dip...orange BBQ sauce and classic BBQ sauce try it out😋....or mayo and classic BBQ sauce....and if you like to sit inside they have a great interior. Take away is not a problem I can thoroughly recommend this place.

Flavia, Lukas, shout out to you two, you have given extremely good service today, thanks a lot!! But now to the review, I was here with two of my friends, let's call them friend A and friend B. Friend A has purchased a matcha latte and spicy cauliflower chicken, it tasted and felt like chicken but it wasn't! Friend B has bought a salad, golden fries and a lemonade but I forgot which one, she said they were good. I bought the Feuerwerk burger, golden fries and the peach-lemon ice tea. The atmosphere was great and very modern, there is outdoor space and indoor space but the indoor was very hot. I would definitely recommend this place because sizes are actually edible, they aren't too big or too small and they have a kids menu and vegan alternatives.

We waited over 40-45 Minutes for two pizzas. One tasted really fresh and crispy and the other one unfortunately tasted Like nothing. That made the waiting time even worse. Me and my partner had a holiday in Madrid and extended our good times to Wiesbaden. We stopped in to Matihilda for a lunch and fell in love with the look and feel of the space. Add to the that Diane,I hope I spelled correctly, and the food, her husband is the chef, we were in love. We loved it so much we went for a light dinner and drinks the next day. This is a family owned and operated eatery and you taste the love in every bite. We will for sure make a point to drop into Wiesbaden, which is a beautiful place, for the amazing food, service, and Diane next year as we plan our 2026 holiday. If you are visiting or live in Wiesbaden visit Mathilda for a meal, drinks, and experience second to none. With love, John and Sean

If you want to enjoy a proper schnitzel, this is the place to go. They take the time to do it fresh and to beat the steak right before it gets fried. One notices that the cook knows what he’s doing and enjoys what he’s doing. I have been here several times and every time I have a joy with whatever I order. The drinks are well and properly prepared with great ingredients. The menu is not overly fancy, but of high quality, classic dishes. The staff is courteous, friendly, and sometimes also funny. Simply a great place to be when you have time to enjoy the good things of life. I wish I had taken a photo of my dish, but it was so good. I ate it all up before I remembered pulling up the camera.

This is a delicious Asian restaurant, which is a mix of Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. The flavors are incredible and the whole place has a great vibe. They also have a great variety of vegan options. We ordered the homemade lemonades, which were not too sweet but just perfect! The Monk‘s Lunch was a super delicious vegan option and so was Shaolin Bowl. We also ordered spring rolls. You can pay with card or cash and I highly recommend recommend reserving because they are always booked! Also, if you want to sit outside or at one of the tables where you can sit on the ground you should mention that when reserving.

Every once in a while, you walk into a restaurant and feel that someone actually cared. Tokygon is one of those rare cases. The interior is a romanticised version of rural Vietnamese architecture — not authentic, of course, but beautiful in its own way, a kind of dreamscape of wood, lanterns, and atmosphere. It works. The staff are warm, attentive, and friendly without overdoing it. Service flows smoothly, never rushed, never sluggish. And the food? It really does what the name promises: it carries you from Tokyo to Saigon in a single sitting. My wife and I had sushi and the Tokygon fasting menu. Both were absolutely fantastic — carefully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with the kind of precision and care that makes you realise you’re not just “eating Asian,” you’re experiencing a deliberate culinary journey. A family menu with fish instead of only vegetarian or meat options would be a very welcome addition to the already strong concept. Five stars, without hesitation. We’ll be back — and next time, I’ll bring an even bigger appetite.

I was with my daughter in this little cute Sushi place. We ordered not alot,y daughter a crispy chicken roll (3 pieces) a Teriyaki Udon and a green tee. I ordered Jasmin Tee and an a homemade ice Tee, Miso soup, 4 Nigiri and Schrimp Tempura ( 2 pcs). Only 1-2 people also in the Restaurant. The drinks took very long, ( 15 minutes ) Soup and Tempura came ( after 30 minutes) Sushi ( only 3 Nigiri, which one of them was wrong ) and Udon finally came. Mind you, I showed the Server in the Menu exactly what I wanted. The fourth Nigiri was who knows where. So we were in there from Order to me finally saying I don't want the 4th Nigiri just the Check, over and 1 1/2 hours. The Sushi was very small for that price. No excuses with everything is getting expensive. Almost every Sushi, Like Octopus, was with a Sauce on it. The Eel was lighting "Flamed". A man came in because He ordered takeout at 2:30 pm to Pick um at 5:30 pm ( which wasn't ready) and we Had been there over 40 minutes already. His order was done at 6:00pm and our food still wasn't in our table. It was a very unpleasant experience, and can and will Not recommend this place to anyone. Excuses like the Server ist New, BS! The Starter classics japanese Soup was really delicious. Main, different standard Sushi were fresh made and really tasty! Waiting time was around 20-25 minutes. Price is in my opinion little to high. One bad thing was that the sake wine comes from big tetra pak! For 6€ thats too bad! This is not an original japanese restaurant! The Stuff is mixed Indian/Pakistani/Chinese... Definitly not from Japan, but that is not negative. They know what they do! Great Food!

Sushi was delicious, but it took almost an hour and a half to get it to us. We had a party of 7 people, with reservations, and ordered about 18:50, our sushi didn't come out until 20:15. Another couple actually came in after us, was served, ate and left prior to us even getting our order. Very disappointed in the slow service. It was very nice sushi, well made and tasted great, but it wasn't worth the exceptionally long wait for.

Seriously good sushi. I'm really glad I came in. The only issue I had was that they don't take cards, but it's an easily solved problem as there's an ATM about three blocks away. That aside, it was an incredible meal.

Slow service. It took nearly two hours for a single roll of sushi. They forgot our miso soup.

Soul Tikka…. Just what Wiesbaden city centre has been waiting for! Go in and find out what your taste buds have been missing…. I had Samosas for starters with a great minty sauce and spicier dip…that was followed up by crispy chicken in a lovely mild mouthwatering sauce. The guy’s in the kitchen know what they’re doing and the whole concept is spot on. Service is knowledgeable and friendly. The only minus was the toilets which on both of my visits were dirty ….toilet paper in the urinals and the sink area a big mess! A pity when they’re trying hard with upstairs to be let down by the downstairs 👎🏻

Very centrally located restaurant in the City. The ambience and whole restaurant setup is pretty nice. The service personnel was also very friendly and helpful regarding that we were celebrating 🎉 birthday Party with 8 people there. Coming to the Taste of the food. The starters were pretty good with three different types of dips which was tasty 😋 also. But the main course (Thali) was pretty much 😞 disappointing. We ordered 🐔 Chicken, Lamb 🐑 and different menus but it all tasted almost same and not so authentic as from the perspective of the Asian tongue 👅 itself. Naan didn't feel fresh it was hard and the currys were also not up to the mark.
Kapil S — Google review
Disappointing. First I ordered online, only to get to the restaurant and have them tell me that what I ordered wasn't on the menu. I chose something else to-go and when I got home there were maybe about a half dozen tiny pieces of chicken in a ton of sauce. The flavor was decent enough but the portion was so small. Overpriced for what I got for sure. Also, people keep saying how great the ambience is...I don't get it. There's no music playing in the restaurant, there were just a few people sitting around in dead silence. Staff seemed nice enough, I suppose.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Some of the variations on indian street food were really creative and delicious- the paneer burger was amazing. Portions were huge, we ordered the appetizer sampler and by the time we were finished almost didn't need our main courses. Drinks were tasty and generous. Great spot.

Such a nice family owned restaurant. And the only thing that took me a while to understand: the waiter I guess owner was lovely and very friendly, happy to recommend dishes for us. Drinks are tasty and housemade. They have a great amount of vegan options even the naans 😋! I ordered Indian spicy level for my dishe and wow it was spicy, too spicy for me. When the nice waiter checked on us and asked if it was spicy enough.... he insisted to make it less spicy. I really appreciated that. Such a great customer attention. 👌 The portions of food was great and dishes are delicious. The prices are corrects. You can pay cash or CB. We will definitely come back here! We did finally come back and we did not have the same experience. Unfortunately the drinks were different than the first time. The dishes not as good as the first time.

We came here to enjoy the Golgappa and chaat but they were out of stock for Golgappa. This is due for next time. Service was good. We ordered spicy food and food was spicy 😀so all good. Garlic naan could have been better.

Not my first time in the place, I love the food here it tastes amazing! My boyfriend wasn't a very big fan of the sauce but I personally loved it! Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for Indian food with a modern twist. ☺️

The food in this place was lovely, i would highly recommend eating here, it was a bit cold when the door was opened, but i think most restaurants have this issue at the moment as its very cold outside. The staff and chef were very friendly, it was a comfortable place to sit down and have a nice meal.

I’ve been back to eat at Si again & again for their delicious Truffel pasta. It comes nestled in a Parmesan crisp cup. How amazing is it to be able to eat the bowl that your pasta comes in?? The outdoor patio is so cute too. Love all the greenery and twinkling lights hanging above you as you eat. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and delightful staff. This is the first restaurant that we went to since restaurants opened recently. We've gotten pretty used to eating at home and I was concerned y that maybe I wouldn't be impressed. The food is amazing. The menu was broad and the wine selection was excellent. We had a combination of pizzas and entrees. The wait staff were happy to see us and our dog too. I will definetly come back again. The almond cookies with coffee were unexpectedly one of the best part of the meal.

Was not very busy when we arrived only 45 minutes after they opened. My wife and I got the two person platter and two drinks no dessert no appetizer and we ended up waiting for 55 minutes. Overall that’s not a bad place. I just think the wait was a little bit too long.

We had a wonderful dinner here! The food and service were fantastic, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed everything about our experience. Hotel Motel One Wiesbaden is a budget-friendly accommodation located just 1 km from the city center. The rooms, though small, are clean and comfortable with modern amenities such as air conditioning. Guests can enjoy a good quality breakfast and access to free Wi-Fi and loaner iPads. The hotel's chic lounge offers a great place to relax with a variety of drinks available. While the rooms may be compact, they provide all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay.
It’s a good budget hotel, with cool design of the lobby, solid clean rooms, and a perfect location. They offer a nice breakfast as well.
Chris — Google review
Location is awesome, with close access to train/bus as well as walkable to really anything you might need as well as many tourist sites! I was also allowed to check into my room early. My flight got in early in the morning and I decided to stop by the hotel and see if they would at least hold my bags for the day, but they allowed me to check in!! Honestly that made my whole stay, being able to nap a couple hours and shower after getting off the flight was incredible. The room itself, very clean/comfortable but definitely very basic. No coffee or tea maker, no fridge, no microwave. Basically just a bed and bathroom. Which was alright but would have been nice to have a little more.
Ginnis G — Google review
I’ve been to Wiesbaden five times and stayed at many hotels, but this is the first one with no minibar or even a bottle of water for guests. The breakfast selection is also very limited. Parking is quite inconvenient — you have to park in the shopping center and it took me a while to find the elevator to the hotel because there were no clear signs. For the same price, I’d rather stay at Premier Inn (4 minutes away) or Radisson Blu, which is much nicer. The room is clean, but overall the experience is below average. Honest feedback.
Duc L — Google review
No water, no kettle, no tea bags. A prison cell. Ridiculous that you don't even offer those for a 100euro per night. This is basic. You should be ashamed. Never booking again. You can tell your consultants how great of an idea it is to cut costs on these little things. Your company is a joke.
Benjamin H — Google review
I wished the website would have stated the hotel was under construction. I like having certain amenities when I travel. No lobby, no bar, or restaurant onsite. The reception area was located by the elevator in a small dark hallway. I was reluctant but I agreed to stay due to my paid reservation. The room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. I opened the curtains and was surprised by the view. This is the only part of my stay which I was happy for booking this room. I opened one of the windows to see this spectacular view and to no surprise it broke. I went back to the reception desk and asked them to take a look. He explained he would come up and take a look. He did not show up at all that dot or the next two days after reminding him. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever.
Brent D — Google review
Great location near the train station and a 25-minute walk to the old town. Modern design and small but convenient rooms. At 2:30am on the first night, someone - without even identifying themselves - knocked and entered our room claiming there was a fire in our room. Then saying “oh maybe something is too close to the heater,” even though the heater/ventilation system is high on the wall, which made no sense. No explanation or apology was ever given, which felt extremely unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable for the rest of our stay.
M B — Google review
Personal is not kind. Even a bottle of water you have to pay 6€....
Juan S — Google review
The only hotel around that easily accommodates more than 3 people. The super modern looks made the €105 price tag feel like a good deal. The room was clean and the ablutions were meticulously arranged. Everything felt very high end. Beds were comfortable. There’s always a concern when one pays this much for a room whether or not they’ll get quality sleep. It wasn’t an issue here. One downside is that those who enjoy cold rooms won’t find much control in the temperature here. Adjusting the thermostat yields no results. Probably for good reason but it got a bit toasty during the evening and early morning hours. Rather that having a single massive blanket, there were two miniature ones in which a person could sleep like a sleeping bag. This was a nice touch and very comfortable. Worth the stay. Definitely recommend this for a night or two stay in Wiesbaden.

Chateau Nero Weinstand is a charming wine bar located on the slopes of Neroberg in Wiesbaden. It offers a laid-back alfresco setting with stunning views, making it an ideal spot to savor a glass of their signature Neroberg Riesling. The winery provides a lovely selection of wines and drinks, along with freshly prepared snacks. While it's not a place for meals, visitors can enjoy the exclusive experience of superb wine and magnificent scenery.
Lovely place in wonderful Wiesbaden! Wunderschön dort! Wine is amazing, mostly from Germany - Riseling Kloster Eberbach is amazing 🥰😉 They also have snacks, Brezel 🥨 Spundekäs und Co. Chateau Nero Wiesbaden is not so expensive, I’ve been really satisfied! You can park not so far away from the bar - 3-5 Minutes away :) The view is amazing! Oh my God, wonderful. I always loved Neroberg, and since I’ve been in Chateau Nero I’m loving it even more. Favorite place, favorite bar, favorite city.🤍 Kids friendly, dogs friendly.:)

Such a beautiful view! Made a reservation and it could not have been easier. We snacked on the two boards offered and they were delicious. My kids enjoyed their non-alcoholic beverages. My husband and I thought the wine was great. There are umbrellas at the tables to keep the sun off or rain. Such a nice place for an afternoon with a view.

We booked for two birthday parties together and we were 18 people. The place is amazing and the wine are good, would be very good if they would offer proper food instead of just some snacks that are not so good and expensive. I would recommend the location for events it is a very beautiful view of the vineyard and of Wiesbaden.

Lovely little gem 💎 of a winery with seating and snacks. Made famous through Tobi‘s Hessen a TV show on Hessenschau. We were warmly greeted my a friendly woman who explained to us the set up. The menu is offering a large selection of wine and drinks, don’t expect a meal because it is more about enjoying a superb wine with a magnificent view at a pretty exclusive site on top of the Neroberg vineyard. Snacks are freshly prepared and amenities include toilets too which isn’t a bad idea after a few glasses 😃. I wouldn’t recommend it for wheelchairs although one could get there albeit with a degree of difficulty! Otherwise it’s great… maybe you would like to reserve a table with friends?

Probably nice, if you come from the correct entrance. Be forewarned, you will be accosted and made to feel unwelcome if you don't come from the Löwenterrasse. EDIT: In answer to the admittedly very straightforward response. The gate was wide open with NO indication one could not enter that way. I had been walking 30 minutes in the heat at that point trying to figure out how to get in to be at my kid's end of class party. I was parked less than 5 minute walk from the actual entrance.

Mangal x LP10 Döner is a culinary gem that brings the beloved doner kebab to life, showcasing its diverse flavors from around the globe. Founded by former national player Lukas Podolski, this chain has expanded to 34 locations across Germany, with a new branch recently opening in Wiesbaden's Langgasse. Under the catchy slogan "Kebab for champions," Mangal aims to serve up what they claim is the best doner in Wiesbaden.
The best Döner box and Lahmacun I’ve eaten in Wiesbaden. Everything tastes very fresh and definitely worth the price. My only suggestion is to improve the coordination of the service. After you order, you have to separately state again what you ordered for it to be prepared. This could be made a bit clearer after ordering so that customers don’t wait for nothing. Other than that, everything was great!
Julide O — Google review
Really enjoyed the Döner! The salad was super fresh and crisp, and the meat was well-seasoned — full of flavor without being too salty or greasy. The portion size was just right for me. Personeel was wel erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. Verder was het heel erg warm en daardoor benauwd in het cafe.

Ristorante Comeback is an Italian restaurant located in the bustling heart of Wiesbaden. The cozy space offers a terrace for outdoor dining, although reservations are recommended due to its popularity. The restaurant is known for its artfully presented Italian classics, including brick-oven pizzas and delectable desserts.
Food is phenomenal! Our service was friendly and attentive and spoke fluent English. Hands down, the best bruschetta I have EVER had! My steak was cooked perfectly and the kids polished off their spaghetti bolognese. It has instantly become our favorite restaurant in town!

Food was delicious, flavorful, and served quickly. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were phenomenal! We sat outside, which is beautiful, and our server was great. We will definitely be coming back!

Goldgasse is a narrow and crowded street with tables lined up one after another. I love this atmosphere. About this restaurant: the staff is very kind but be prepared to wait for a long time for the food (we waited for 1 hour) so I am giving 4 stars. but the price / performance ratio is quite good! If you cannot decide what to eat, I can suggest the menu of the day.

Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Wiesbaden! It is located in one of the busiest parts of the city, therefore it was full when we arrived (reservation for dinner service recommended). We got seated outside, at the curb, which was a bit noisy, however I did enjoy the lively atmosphere of the street and some music after all. I must say I didn't like how close the tables were to each other - I was sitting closer to my neighbor than to my friend in front of me so I was completely missing the sense of privacy. The food was decent and tasty - typical Italian food - you wont get disappointed but don't expect something that blows you away. We got bruschetta as an appetizer (sprinkled with balsamic, which is not my favourite ingredient) - great taste and a good sized portion - and continued with pasta dishes. I opted for tagliatelle with creamy mushroom sauce and pieces of beef. Overall great choice - pasta was al dente (as it should be) and I appreciated that I was asked how I wanted the beef to be done, the sauce was a bit heavy for me, still enjoyable and tasty though. Glass of Italian red wine was a perfect match to my food, although it could have been a little bit more chilled. The staff was good and attentive as well, nothing in particular stands out, just very polite and decent. Overall I was satisfied with choosing the Comeback restaurant! Visited in July 2022 and paid by card. Ambience *** Food & Drinks **** Service ****

The Goldgasse is a fun place to go with a visiting tourist to eat. The food is fine. Takes quite a while to serve and 20 minutes to get our espressos was just too much. 33€ for one main course, water and a coffee is just too much for me for lunch. Only cash accepted was a big surprise and turnoff.

Everywhere I go, I look for premium Italian restaurants. This one was away from the main corner of Italian restaurants of Wiesbaden. However, it was the best one in town. The server was also great. Highly recommended. Massimo is a nice waiter but the tall main waiter is totally rude.
Mr E — Google review
Excellent food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The pasta comes out warm, seasoned and the perfect amount. Recently tried the minestrone, a nice comfort on a cool day. Seasonal dishes vary in type and price. The price of dishes is a little higher than average locations in the area. It’s easy to assess that the type of dishes here are not the same as the average locations nearby. Staff is knowledgable and accommodating to adjustments in menu orders. Definitely recommend the Comback.

At Thai Banyan Restaurant, guests are treated to an authentic taste of Thailand, where the warm and friendly service sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. This cozy spot in Wiesbaden is perfect for those seeking a break from their busy day, with vibrant colors and enticing aromas that transport you straight to Thailand. The menu boasts an array of delicious dishes, particularly the curries and stir-fries, all served in generous portions that leave diners satisfied.
I really love the restaurant. When I miss thailand, i go there. The colors, aromas, flavors, ambiance, and music, just gives me a good break from the hustle of the day. Ofcourse at times when it’s crowded, the service might be a bit slow, but otherwise they are attentive and nice. The food is amazing… specially the curries and stir fries. The portions are satisfying. Definitely i recommend it.

Good place, if not fantastic. Crispy chicken salad was really really good, can recommend. Nice interior, too. The soup was nearly awful, however - just thin and soapy. Do not recommend.

Fantastic food, service a bit indifferent. But worth it for the food. To note - there was a previous review about hard potatoes - the ones in my yellow curry were fully cooked through to perfection! Good sized portions as well.

With an inviting open fireplace and a rustic terrace, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The menu boasts an impressive selection of international dishes, ranging from succulent steaks to delightful vegetarian options. Diners can enjoy their meals either under large umbrellas on the terrace or within the quaint interior.
I was craving a good steak and was told to come here. The place did not disappoint. I got a New York strip that was cooked perfectly. The roasted potatoes on the side were delicious. I had to pull out Google translate and throw down “bitte mehr sobe”. The mushroom sauce was really good and tied it all together.
Chris E — Google review
Webers Wikinger is in a great location and has a cozy atmosphere. They have one main menu for all seasons and a smaller side menu that changes depending on the time of year — a nice touch! The lamb collet was okay, though a bit dry. The grilled vegetables were fresh and tasty, but the champignons were sliced too thin, so they ended up slightly overcooked and dry. The steak was decent, and the Bratkartoffeln were just okay — they could use better seasoning (mostly salty on the outside, but a bit bland when chewing). Overall, a pleasant experience.

Went to webers wikinger for dinner whilst in town. This place is awesome. Really authentic German high quality cuisine. We had a number of different food options including a vegetarian option all which were really great. Also had a number of great beers and a few glasses of spectacular wine which was great. Staff where super friendly and really great. Everything out quickly. All in all would highly recommend.

Went there today, with my kids and this place has amazing location in Wiesbaden City and the atmosphere there was amazing. Feels like traveling in time, like a Viking. Long story short, the experience for my kids was good, they had schnitzel and was good. I ordered the staple dish, called the vikinger platter, or something like that. My food order was taken wrong and my meats were overcooked. That really messed up our experience. The service at the end (an older lady, black hair) was very discouraging and disrespectful. She was blaming the bad order on me. ??? The restaurant had only 4 tables, we were the first and still took a little under an hour to get the food. No bueno!!!!
Terra R — Google review
I recently dined at the German restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The schnitzel was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and tender meat inside. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Plus, the convenience of being able to pay by card made the whole dining experience hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Right in the center of Wiesbaden sitting outside under the shade of big umbrellas or in the quaint interior this restaurant is a must for lovers of good fare.. I had the onion rings as a starter which where fresh onions and not a paste as is commonly known...they were cooked in a lovely light batter..this was followed by a very good steak although the side orders were a bit on the skimpy side... I wanted a desert but unfortunately they are not strong on desserts! Value for money was reasonable the service on our evening was attentive and helpful ...wheelchair access is available outside.
Dave P — Google review
Excellent place. The staff speaks great English. They have perfect lighting and an old German atmosphere. The architecture is great. Their staircase which is suspended by chain is great. The food is mainly meat-centric. They have candles (real candles) and a fire going in the evenings. Their meat platter was good and their lobster and crab soup was excellent.

A Deeply Disappointing Anniversary Experience As highly praised as this restaurant is, our experience was shockingly disappointing, especially considering this was meant to be a special evening celebrating our wedding anniversary with our son. I had exchanged multiple emails with Mr. Stephen Wagner and even called two weeks in advance to confirm our reservation with the Opelbad staff. We were assured a memorable anniversary dinner and a reserved table. Unfortunately, what we encountered was the complete opposite. Upon arrival, we stood waiting at the front for about ten minutes before I had to actively search for a staff member outside to let them know we had a reservation. They appeared indifferent. We were eventually seated at a dirty, unprepared table, far from the promised setting, and no effort was made to clean it even after we sat down. The service from the two waitresses who checked on us (barely once) made us feel more like a burden than guests. The hospitality quickly deteriorated further. Despite confirming our reservation via email, we were told it wasn’t in the system. Halfway through our meal, the staff returned to tell us they had found it, but that it was made for inside seating. Ironically, the table we had originally reserved (clearly marked with our reservation tag) was occupied by two loud, obnoxious guests, severely impacting the atmosphere of what should’ve been a peaceful, celebratory dinner. When it came to the food, we hoped things would improve. We ordered a bottle of wine and their premium steaks and schnitzel. But again — disappointment. My wife’s Wiener schnitzel was served cold. The highly anticipated white asparagus, which Mr. Wagner had praised, was undercooked and cold as well, far from the quality we were expecting. To make matters worse, toward the end of our meal, the staff rearranged the nearby tables for a walk-in couple, the exact setup I had requested earlier, but was denied due to a supposedly incoming group of 30. This visit was a cascade of failures — poor service, unfulfilled promises, subpar food, and a complete disregard for customer care. What we hoped would become our go-to restaurant for special occasions turned out to be a waste of both time and a few hundred euros. Opelbad has unfortunately lost our trust, and our future visit to this place again.

The extensive menu features an array of authentic Thai dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone, including vegan-friendly choices that can be customized to suit dietary needs.
Quaint Thai restaurant. Great decor. Very cozy place. They have western seating but also low-to-the-ground traditional Asian tables for seating. There are a couple of tables outside but smoking is allowed there. Menu is huge. Any Thai dish you can imagine it seems they have. We came looking for Pad See Ew. They had it, but didn't have fat noodles, so there is some difference between Thai food in Germany and California, it seems. I also had a limincello Spritz and it was amazingly delicious and refreshing. Makes me want to try out other drinks. Parking is non-existant, so you'll park elsewhere and walk. That's true of all places here though.

The ambiance is lovely, and the wait staff was very nice. The taste of the food was good, but my only issue was the Pad Thai I ordered had 4 long black hairs in it. They didn't charge me for the dish, but it killed our entire meal. No one wanted to eat anything after that and we paid over €100 for the meal. Very disappointing. We have not been able to go back.

If you want Thai food please avoid this restaurant. This is the worst Thai food we've ever had anywhere in the world, including U.S. (known for serving mediocre food). This place has lovely authentic Thai ambiance but the food itself is at its lowest point. We paid for food we couldn't eat because it tasted awful and they just took the money in a blink of an eye fully understanding the food is awful. This inviting eatery boasts a bright and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying their delightful meze appetizers, succulent kebab grills, and tasty pita sandwiches. Diners rave about the consistency of the food quality over the years, with fresh ingredients and expertly seasoned dishes that never fail to impress. The warm ambiance enhances your meal, making it an ideal spot to unwind while savoring traditional flavors.
This is a great place. We have been coming here for years. For various reasons we haven’t been for a couple of years though. Now that we have made it back it is nice to be reminded how good it is. One sign (to me) of a good place is consistency. This place produces consistently good food. And in my experience all the best Turkish places give you some bread with salad and sauces to start with. This is one of those places. We were even asked if we wanted more bread. This is new. We couldn’t accept as we knew that we would be too full from what we got at the start and our meal. This is one place that many people I have spoken to in the area know about, and they always have god things to say about it, so it isn’t just me.

The menu features espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato along with a wide selection of homemade cakes and pastries. Sustainability and freshness are prioritized in the kitchen. The café's cozy yet rustic ambiance makes it a favorite spot for breakfast in Wiesbaden.
It is a very modern cafe/restaurant. Very fancy, very popular. I came here with my mother, my friend and her mother. My friend's mother had purchased the "Ich" lemonade, a strawberry lemonade with ice, mint leaves and lime, it has a very nice flavour. My friend has purchased a peach iced tea which includes an orange slice and ice in the cup. my mother bought the coffee chocolate frappe (i think). I have bought an omelette, the classic one I think, it was a normal omelette with three slices of cucumber, three slices of tomato and a slice of butter on the side, I don't really like omelettes but it was still very nice. My friend has purchased gnocchi with pesto, the gnocchi had a filling but I couldn't tell what it was. My friend's mom has purchased spaghetti with tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes on the side. The staff was very friendly and deserve a raise haha. It has vegan options, it shows allergens and overall it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was ok. Big portions, descent quality on the salads and pasta. The tomato soup was like from a can. The fresh basil leaf on top didn’t make up for the taste. The service was not good at all. We didn’t get menus, the empty plates were left on the table until we left, the waiter was not responsive.

Nice place with a cozy vibe and a great location. It’s ideal for brunch — the food is fresh, well-seasoned, and really tasty. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends or family.

Amazing French toast stuffed with jam! The servers were super nice and the wait wasn’t too long to be seated and served. Can’t wait to come back!
Steph S — Google review
I was invited to eat at this restaurant many times, so I am confident in saying that if you eat here, then you will be stuffed with amazing food. The highlights of this place are definitely the generous portion sizes. Whether it be french toast you desire or an omelette, you will receive what you want and THEN some! Everything was cooked to perfection, and I will sincerely miss the bold flavors of each meal I had, my most favorite one being the blueberry crepe with vanilla sauce. That crepe was the first one I ever had in my life, and it set the bar very high for future ones. Is the food good enough to sit and relax at the table though? Well...I would suggest to order takeaway, but then that would add on to the long wait time on top of the already long time you'd normally sit through if you just stayed put. Du & Ich is very popular, and with that popularity comes some downsides, including waiting over a half hour for one plate of food. It doesn't matter what you get, every time I attended this place, I have waited a significantly long time for my food. It can feel stressful, especially if you were like me and went out to eat with peers that you weren't so close with yet, so you're awkwardly playing on your phone listening to everyone else talk around you. This is even worse when you're a foreigner who doesn't speak German, so you can't even listen in on any hot gossip. Since I touched on the topic of speaking, I will say that the waiters I had spoke decent English. They were very kind to me, and didn't appear judgmental over me being a foreigner- as I had feared. So, I did feel bad when I got frustrated over the long wait. Their restaurant is usually packed with customers, so if you want a taste of their food without the anger of having to wait so long, best option is to occupy your time with some good friends, videos on your phone, or read a book. So again, is the food from Du & Ich good enough to sit and relax at their table? I'd say yes, but please bear with them as they are taking their time for a reason. They have lots of fans in their establishment, and I'm sure you'd become one too once you have a bite of their large, freshly-made dishes.

Scotch 'N Soda is a charming establishment located at the junction of several small cobblestone streets. With its Scottish-inspired decor, wide-ranging selection of drinks, and delectable cuisine, it serves as an inviting oasis for patrons. The proprietors are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, treating guests like cherished acquaintances. Commencing with a choice from their limited array of vodkas, one can savor their cocktails alongside chips and salsa sourced from a jar but still pleasing to the palate.
Fantastic bar! Great atmosphere with seating outside. TV screens showing sport but done subtly to not spoil the atmosphere. Gordon (the owner) is a legend! Who knew Wiesbaden was the centre of the world. The burger names are an eye catcher! It's a must visit when in Wiesbaden.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the world. For one whole summer I was flying to the city twice a week and would get dinner here. Their Schnitzel menu is insane and I challenged myself to try each kind throughout the whole summer. Never had one bad one the whole time and the drinks along with it were fantastic! Plus the cat friend outside just adds to the atmosphere automatically, but the whole feel of the city surrounds you as you sit there enjoying your meal.

Update: Another great time with good service and this time I enjoyed the “Fat Man” burger with tasty fries. Hanging out front with friends enjoying the world go by makes for a nice afternoon. Earlier visit: Had a very nice evening with friends at Scotch ‘N Soda. Enjoyed a perfect pint of Guinness, a shot of Jamo, and rounded things off with their Fish & Chips. Our service was friendly and prompt which really made for a fun evening. We will definitely be back for another pint 🍺

Best burgers and cocktails I've ever had, especially the Paris burger. It has garlic mayo and grilled onions that are a delicious addition to the burger. The cocktails are strong and you'll get your money's worth. The owner and the staff are fantastic and hilarious, they always take care of us and we all have a great time. Highly recommend for an evening out, just get here early before the place fills up!

Always a place to go for just a chill and a drink to relax at the end of a busy day. Good is perfect with many choices. The schnitzels always amazing, the steaks are beautiful and burgers are pretty good as well. Salads are alright and tasty. Beers on the tap are good and the whiskey menu is lengthy. Bottom line: You cannot go wrong here!

The Weinhaus Sinz is a traditional hotel with contemporary rooms that offer stylish and modern accommodations. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast and savor regional cuisine. The restaurant boasts exquisite decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was tastefully adorned with confetti, flowers, and candles for special occasions such as engagements. The food served is of excellent quality, with perfectly cooked lamb and exceptionally fresh asparagus being standout dishes.
The restaurant is beautiful and it also gives you a warm feeling inside with it 's decor. Our place was nicely decorated with confetti, flowers and candles suite for my daughter's engagement. A perfect combination of old and contemporary. The setting of this restaurant could not be more traditional. Nestled at the foot of vineyards in a quiet town. Amazing goose dinners at Christmas. Friendly competent staff. I imagine the gasthaus is also nice.

Beautiful place full of cosy little corners, all tastefully decorated in a traditional Rheingau Weinhaus Style. All with excellent wine, friendly staff and an fabulous Thanksgiving dinner, which was a true American portion. It even beat me! Parking is difficult and jacket potatoe was the only disappointment of a great evening.

You can call this lovely restaurant an institution in the Wiesbaden- and Rheingau-region for decades. Experience not only the charming cozy interior with all its decorations, but also the warmhearted service of the whole staff. The meals are simply delicate, during the season you can also enjoy regional venison. Of course, you should not leave out an accompanying regional wine, e.g. a typical Rheingau Riesling.

Loved this place. It was highly recommended by a colleague. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Menus are also in English. There’s no parking in the restaurant unless you are lucky and get one of 3 parking spots in front of the restaurant. Otherwise there’s a parking lot about 3 minutes away. Food was very tasty.

Great local restaurant and bar. Cozy seating both inside and out. Good selection of local beer and wine. Helpful wait staff guided us through menu options and specials. English menus available. We ordered hearty soup, schnitzel, and finished with desert. My coworker and i stopped by early evening and were accommodated. I highly recommend reservations as indoor seating is limited.

Small and cozy atmosphere. Seems best for small groups or a quick bite. I was able to walk in and get a seat at the bar. Service was quick and I am grateful they all spoke great English. I got the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fries and a side salad. Everything came out quick and the two pieces of schnitzel were pretty big. Breading was a bit thicker than my favorite schnitzel but it definitely hit the spot. They also serve their on-tap beer by the liter which I very much enjoyed. Beer selection was pretty standard - a pilsner, helles and wies.

Step into a world of enchanting flavors at Karim's Brasserie, located in the heart of Wiesbaden. This charming eatery invites you to indulge in a culinary journey reminiscent of 1001 Nights. With its spacious two-story layout, the restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere that enhances your dining experience. Guests are welcomed warmly, even during busy hours, and can expect attentive service throughout their visit.
Charming restaurant with two floors for dining. I arrived Sunday, alone and late (9:30), and was greeted as nice as could be and seated upstairs. Downstairs was packed even at that hour. Service was polite and very helpful. The menu was richly created and nicely crafted. I enjoyed a Bordeaux with the experience. I prefer hummus thicker, with less tahini, and it was my starter, but the mixed platter and sanbusas were delish 😋
S F — Google review
The tagines here are so amazing! I had the chicken with apricots and almonds, which im still dreaming of today. My partner had the lamb shank, which was so well cooked it just melted off the bone. We probably could have ordered 1 tagine to share and have more starters as it was a huge portion, but no regrets as it was so good! When we arrived, there were only seats inside because it was a sunny day, so we were seated there for a while. But once a table became available outside, we were promptly moved to the terrace. The atmosphere was buzzing and great. Very friendly and quick service despite the restaurant being so full.

Karim's Brassiere is absolutely perfect. Extraordinary flavors, lovely and kind owner & staff, and varied Mediterranean menu with something for everyone. Lovely outdoor seating and at an ideal location for Wiesbaden strolling afterwards. The Tabouleh was fresh and delicious. The saffron sauce served with the chicken skewers was just to die for. ❤️

We just had lunch at Karim's and the carrot and red beet salad combo was awful. The bread on the side of the chicken skewer was cold and old. The waitress had an unpleasant atitude and refused the credit card, stating the machine was broken, even though she just took a CC for payment from a German lady. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or co-workers

Cool beach vibe restaurant located inside the train station. We stopped by on Sunday with no reservation and were seated very quickly. From the moment we walked in, she stood out — not just for her efficiency, but for the way she made us feel genuinely welcome. Valeria navigated a busy dining room with grace and composure, never missing a beat. Our glasses were never empty, our questions were answered with patience, and her recommendations felt like they came from someone who truly cared about our experience. It wasn’t just about taking an order and delivering food; it was about creating a moment of comfort and connection in the midst of a chaotic day. Valeria's smile was authentic, her timing impeccable, and her presence reassuring. In a world where good service is often rushed or impersonal, she reminded us that hospitality is an art — and she’s mastered it. We left not only satisfied with the meal but genuinely uplifted by the service. Valeria is the kind of person who turns a simple dinner into a memorable evening.
