Tacos, enchiladas, rice, and beans were very good. Decor was fun, restrooms were very clean. I don't recommend the queso dip, as it was very thick, like they just heated up a block of mild cheddar cheese, so I won't order that again, but I will likely go back for the main dishes.

Great Mexican inspired food! Tamales are available year round 🫶🏽 Never had a bad margarita from here either! The banana margs are my favorite— very refreshing and tasty!!! 🍌🍹 Great place for family dining or dinner with friends. They are usually very busy but we’ve never had to wait long for a table. Recommend to get a reservation if you have a big party. The only annoying thing is that their credit card machine is ‘down’ 99% of the time so you have to bring euro cash with you.

We love stopping by Cantina Mexicana every time we’re in Kaiserslautern. The food is always fantastic — definitely one of the top Mexican restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is fun and colorful, with piñatas hanging from the ceiling, origami decorations, and even three-dimensional artwork worked into the walls. It’s a lively, welcoming place, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Great food and friendly staff. Some in our group said the food tasted a bit different from what they are used to. My lunch fajitas were tasty and exactly what I expected. There was a little wait, but it is understandable due to the large group. I highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of Mexican cuisine.

April 2025, Clean restaurant, clean restroom, sweet tea was alright, enchiladas was surprisingly good, best part was the tres leches piece. -Side Note- Myself and my wife both were born in San Antonio and have been to Mexico, I’ve seen and tried it all. As far as I’m concerned this place is alright, especially in Germany!

The chimichanga was amazing. The birria taco was dry so I will stick with burritos and chimichangas next time. The service was excellent and the food came out quick.

The experience at this restaurant was like no other I‘ve been to. It was like being transported to another country and diving into a completely new way to eat and live. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food and especially loved out black rice mango desert, which I‘ve posted as a picture.

My husband and I visited this place for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, the staff was so friendly and the food was soooo delicious (also portions are really good). The food took some time, but we were enjoying everything so it was okay for us. We will come back for sure🤤

First time I tried Ethiopian food, it was delicious and I would love to come back again. Unique eating experience as you use a flatbread to pickup your food to eat . Nice and spicy with good variety.

Had a great meal here. We had summer rolls with chicken to start. I had a beef pho and my wife had a chicken pho. The bowls are very big, and plenty of meat. The broth was great. Mr. Lian's is a great place to eat. We had the spring rolls, Pho Tran, Chicken Udon, lemon grass tea, and lava cake. The dishes were full of flavor and excellently prepared. The lava cake is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful. Go. You'll go back!

I haven’t been here in 6 years, The only good thing I had here was the Coco Love soup which is coconut soup and I had it with chicken. We got a sushi platter, Udon with Duck, and a couple of drinks like the Thai Basil. Like I said the only good thing was the soup, and i normally don’t care about price point but what the prices were compared to the quality, was terrible. I forgot to take pictures of the udon duck because it was so bad.

Food was fantastic! I'd highly recommend salmon tartar! Amazing! Service was good, however, once we received meals (which was quick) she never came back. I was going to ask if they had chili oil for my noodles. Pretty expensive ... we spent 48 per person but it was WORTH IT! I'm here for 2 weeks. I'll be back few more times b4 I leave. Thank you!!!

Such a hidden gem! We tried a couple of traditional German dishes and they were both outstanding. One had potatoes, eggs, and pickles – it was hearty, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The cheese-filled dish that looked like crepes was incredible, with the cheese and basil pairing beautifully. The fresh side salad rounded out the meal so well. Every bite was delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better.

Showed up at 1830 without a reservation and was lucky to get a table for 5 outside, cannot make one digitally from what I saw so give them a call. Service was great and the food was incredible. I have the spinnradl stuffed roast and the schnitzel looked solid too. Tried a few desserts, the dumplings is like a sweetbread and dipped in the sauce was surprisingly tasty.

Delicious food and a very reasonably priced set menu, but unfortunately very slow service. We arrived at 7:30pm but didn't receive our mains until 9pm, and desserts at 10pm, which detracted from our enjoyment of an otherwise excellent meal.

Friends took here and we got a table in the garden. It is the best steak I have had in the area. They cooked it perfectly. The side au gratin potatoes where tasty, soft Nd yet with the crispy top. Willing go here again whenever . The other two dishes are my friends and they loved theirs.

A nice fine dining restaurant with an indoor and outdoor setting. They have a good selection of both food and wine, and often have specials depending on the day. Employees were very helpful and attentive and do not pester you as you enjoy your time and meal. I had a beautiful time in the hidden romantic sanctuary in the nook of Kaiserslautern.

Curry House in Kaiserslautern is a gem! The food was incredible, with perfectly balanced spices that brought back memories of home - especially the chicken curry. The owners were some of the friendliest people I’ve met in Germany, and their son, Karan, was the sweetest, serving us with such warmth. Ordered for Takeaway for the first time trying this place (mostly because we have a toddler, but I was craving Indian food) and it is absolutely delicious! I ordered garlic naan and the chicken tiki marsala with medium spice. My family and I ate all the garlic naan on the way home because it smelt so good so it did not make it. I meant to take a picture of the chicken tea marsala but it is absolutely delicious! And medium definitely has a cake, but it is so good! Definitely the best Indian food we have tried in Germany so far! Highly recommend! The service was very good too! Can’t wait to try again!

Ordered a few more times and still the rating stays. Ordered this off of food delivery service and this came to me perfect. They even made sure they plated my meal in the aluminum containers. The delivery driver was awesome and the food was perfect. I chose mild on the minced lamb skewers and the lamb looked perfect with a side of curry sauce with great flavor. The veggie curry I got Indian hot and it had good spice to it and was soft and just tasty. I also got the cheese naan and also perfect naan. Will be ordering here again. Have ordered a few more times and have never been disappointed. Food always arrives in timely fashion, warm and plenty flavorful. The lamb doesn’t have a real flavor of lamb which is too bad, but seems like Germany in general doesn’t like lamb.

Every dish I’ve tried has tasted phenomenal and they are always hospitable and kind. Also accepts card payment, which does matter! Definitely my favorite in the area!

Best filet mignon of my life. Wonderful place. Need to order in advance so they may prepare your meat. Reservation for best experience. Very price but well worth it. Recommend getting the bread with tomato and avocado spread. Rustic fries are way better than normal fries.

Spent my husbands birthday here last night. The food was absolutely amazing! The steaks was perfectly delicious and the bread and salsas blew my mind how great they tasted. The service was great and the cook came out to cut out steak and ensure it was as we ordered. Definitely will be back!

You MUST eat here if you're a steak lover! BUT, plan ahead and make your reservation- we were lucky to get a table and steak without one but that's extremely rare. The food, service and atmosphere are top notch. The owner, butcher chef and cook takes amazing care of all patrons and served us the best sirloin and rib eye that just melted in our mouth! Cannot recommend enough!

Simply amazing. Best steak in Germany. The steaks are a bit pricey but you won’t be disappointed. Coming from Texas I eat a lot of steak but this place blew me away. Everything from the live music to the drinks to the beautiful steaks! The chef is very friendly and will personally come to the table and serve you your steak. Will definitely come back.

This is a very nice steak house with a good selection of steaks and sizes. Definitely call in for a reservation and your steak order ahead of time so you don't have to wait for two or so hours. The sides are salads and fried potatoes, but they are quite delicious. The staff were amazing and did their best to take care of us. The salt used for the steaks was delicious, even tasted good with the ice cream. All together, it is a great steak place and one we will visit again.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really warm-hearted. Nice chef and stuffs, guitar, piano and singing there. The steak is epic here! Best in KL! Juicy and delicious! Highly recommended but do remember to book at least one day before!

I tried this restaurant last month, and the food was amazing. The concept is that you pay a buffet price, sit at your table, and can order one dish every six minutes using a tablet. The portion sizes are just right, allowing you to sample a variety of dishes. Service is fast, and orders arrive at your table in no time. However, I found it overpriced. Given the small portion sizes, the time limit for dining, and the restriction on the number of orders, the prices could have been more reasonable. Drinks are not included, and if you order one, the cost adds up even more. That’s the only reason I’m giving it four stars.

I liked the place, it’s a bit smaller than the other location. There’s no air conditioning, which is honestly the worst part, because they open the windows and then you’re swarmed by a thousand bugs flying around you. The food is supposedly rotated, but I went a year ago and it’s still the same dishes. They’re good, but way overpriced for what they are, even if you can eat every 6 minutes. Drinks start at 5 euros and up. The service is good, though. The other thing is: I’m super animal-friendly, like, I’m the most animal-loving person ever, and I love that the place is dog-friendly, but without air conditioning or at least proper ventilation, how do they expect dogs to be comfortable in there? Even for them, it’s not a pleasant environment.

Neat concept for a restaurant! Really enjoyed all of the variety and being able to choose something new and different every 6 minutes is so cool! I think the price is good for how much food you can eat in 2 hours if you are paying attention to the timer! The drinks were also delicious!

I won't lie, I had a lot of expectations about this place, but in my opinion, it's overrated. Food was good in general, and some of them very delicious, and I really almost tried everything, even the ones you need to pay extra. The desserts were terrible!!! Just tons of sugar, no doubts about it, my friend and I ordered all the desserts on the menu, and none of them were good, we tried them and returned them to the plate. The restaurant is nice but not fancy. Attention and service were really good. Plates came really fast because we were on top of the time.

Ordered the food through Lieferando. Took about an hour for delivery which was about the time stated. The seafood salad was a soggy mess because of all of the dressing, I had to take the salad out of the container and there was so much dressing left in the bottom of the container. it overpowered the salad. it also leaked all over the bag and the other dishes. The food was very good, but having to clean up a mess before starting to eat was annoying. And, the delivery and service fee together cost almost 6 euro.

Been here and ordered delivery from here a few times. They have a mostly traditional bahn mi that is tasty and I really really like their pho. Their broth has rich flavor. The place is small and the menu is a good mix of things. They have a couple of these around the area so if you aren’t in the K-town area, there is one in Ramstein too.

I took a soup home and it still was amazing and hot, the noodles melted in my mouth and it was spicy and full enough with beef slides steak😀 my partner had some vegetables and crispy chicken that made me still food from him… I recommend it with an open heart because they really put love in their creation, it just everything has taste! Amazing. Plus their character can be very flexible and understanding even with foreign people. Thank you, i consider you very good at what you doing and i do love the food.

I've ordered from this place many times but finally decided to try the food from the inside. It was just as delicious as my to-go orders. The owner is very nice and helpful. Good Vietnamese food in the heart of Kaiserslautern. Most vegetarian options are vegan. Vegans just ask to make sure but they have a vegetarian section on the menu. My fried tofu with 5 vegetables was oily but tasty. The rice bowl with tofu was very good. The spring rolls were delicious. You don't need a reservation and the prices weren't too high.

Very delicious. I highly recommend the duck cari dish with rice. I’m not going to say that it’s 100% authentic but it’s the closest thing I could find to remind me of Vietnam 😊. The portions are also super big so come hungry!!

Amazing small German pub. Felt incredibly homey and comforting vibes in the whole place, super close to Ramstein but not Americanized at all. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and even offered us a shot of liquor to end the meal(highly recommended after a very rich dinner)

This is a hidden spot for picnics, hiking or just walking with your dog or spouse. I like it here the air is very fresh. Good scenery and of course you can have a coffee after the walk with a pretzel on the side. This is my favorite place so far ever since moving here in kaiserslautern. People must visit here its a good place to relax and workout.

Great location and good food. Located at the Vogelwoog lake area. Besides a good place to eat it is a wonderful area to walk or bike around. Try the double burger! I had a walk buddy with me too.

Babe's boba what an amazing spot to try. A fairly new spot and wow do they have some good flavors. They accept both card and cash. I love how authentic they are. The vibe and decor are very welcoming plus the staff is very friendly and even are from California. For the review I will give it a 9.4 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale. Loved how authentic they are plus there care and dedication to bring the best products to Germany. Definitely visit to get a taste of your new favorite boba spot.

The bubble tea is tasty, but the paper bag is really stupid. If you care about the environment, please provide customers with a proper paper bag, not something like this. The straw is fragile and the small cheap paper bag is ridiculous. If next time I buy and you still use this stupid paper bag, I will keep giving 1-star reviews until you stop using them. I wasted my money because the bag broke, the bubble tea cup fell and spilled, and I lost my money.

It was such an absolute treat in the hot weather. I ordered one of their signature drinks, summer blossom with lychee jelly and it was very refreshing and tasted so good. We also ordered a red velvet muffin, looked super cute but the taste was okay. I loved their service as well, they were super friendly and helpful while we were choosing our drinks. Will go again next time to try another drink :)

Yummy special teas, and you can create your own. I got the fruity cereal tea and it was so good, very heavy on the strawberry flavor in a great way. They have some donuts and stuff and they warm them up for you. 10$ card minimum.

Super cute little boba joint with loads of flavour options! I had the mango green tea with tapioca pearls and it was perfect for this warm day. You can also customize the level of sweetness for your drink.

Wow, our normal Indian restaurant is closed on Monday so we tried the Raj Mahal and we were not disappointed. I enjoy Vindaloo and my wife likes Korma. I like mine extra, extra hot. Their Vindaloo was exceptional in taste. They brought me a small container of freshly made pepper sauce made with yogurt that I could add for additional heat. It was superb. In this way I could take an ordinarily hot dish to extremely hot like I like it. The food, the service, and everything was exceptional. This place will definitely be a place that we return to. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Curry.

It was one of the most delicious Pakistan/Indian curry I’ve ever tried in Germany! I’ve come here probably half a dozen times now. Haven’t been disappointed once. From curry dishes to sides, there is a ton of flavors and heat levels to drag your taste buds through. I highly recommend the Chicken Biryani and pair it with some naan bread.

Their delivery time is listed as 25-40 minutes on lieferando which seemed reasonable but after placing the order it increased the time from 30 minutes to 57 minutes and after that the updates stopped completely and its been an additional 10 minutes since then. The customer service wasn't helpful, mumbling something about where I want the order delivered (gate or walk idk). I paid for convenience but all I have received is inconvenience. The platform doesn't let me cancel my order and get a refund too. If you value your time and have things to do I will highly recommend not ordering delivery from them.

My favorite spot for Thai in the area. Everything is very flavorful and fresh. The Pad Kimao and Pad Zi-Iew are my go-to’s for noodle dishes. I usually do a take out order, as the indoor seating area is small. Make sure to have a reservation if planning to dine in.

Oh my goodness! So delicious! Best Thai food we have had outside of Thailand. My husband ordered pla lui suan (talapia) and I got the pad zi-iew (rice noodles). We ate outside and the bathrooms were clean and nice as well. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was AMAZING! The chicken pad thai was one of the best I've had. The mango sticky rice was delicious! The waitress was so kind, always smiling, and very hard working.

Ordered standard Thai dishes. Everything arrived hot and as ordered. Everything tasted pretty good. Only reason for a 3, they are almost double the cost of all the other Asian food I have tried in the area. This area is rich in Japanese, thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and all the fusions. Spring rolls here are almost 8€ for 4, 8€ for 4 gyoza and pad Thai with chicken for a single serving size was almost 19€. Average in this area is 10-12€ a dish. Serving sizes were on the smaller size. It’s good if you like Thai, but you’ll pay for it.

It was worth the wait. The food tasted very authentic as it can for here. I definitely enjoyed the taste and good service. I tried a few dishes so far. Tucked away in a neighborhood this charming restaurant offers fresh food and friendly service. The outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant makes you forget that you’re in the middle of a neighborhood. The indoor seating area looks cozy and inviting. The veggie wrap and salad was very fresh and delicious. The pizza had a nice crust and flavorful toppings. The food came out very quickly. I wouldn’t go for the wine. I tried a white and a red, the white was okay, but the red blend wasn’t great. The cocktails looked good and the draft beer was refreshing.

Worst restaurant experience. We waited for 1.5 hours for our order and it was not even delivered. We ordered just 2 pizzas. We had to leave the restaurant without having food. The waitress kept saying just 5-10 min after 1 hours of waiting. And finally after 1.5, they told us we have make new dough so it will take more time. We had no option but to leave the restaurant without having food. It was worst restaurant experience ever. It ruined our mood and our appetite. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One of my favorite places for a casual Friday night date. Absolutely wonderful pizzas! The outdoor dining in the courtyard is relaxing in a bohemian kind of way. The staff are at tentative and energetic, the prices are very reasonable. We love it there.

Pretty rad place. Food is amazing on its own. The atmosphere is very unique. Each room looks different and each has their own “clientele”. Definitely a must see in Kaiserslautern.

This place was amazing, the variety of drinks(beer or liquor) was very nice. The food was good to perfection, with the staff being attentive and very understanding of the our obvious language barrier. The German Gin was by far the best G&T i have ever had. The bar tender was funny, and really enjoyed his job, which made the experience even that much better. Will definitely be going back here when I make another trip to Germany.

(Visiting from USA) We came here on a whim after our original plans got canceled , and we were pleasantly surprised! Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. A little bit higher in price, but for us it was worth it since I had just landed. Portions were more than acceptable, flavors were great, ambience was dark, but quiet! We highly recommend getting their chocolate mousse for dessert, probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had, not too sweet, but very creamy and delicious! Would love to come again for lunch!

Nice outdoor seating area with sounds and views of the fountain. The tables outside are very close together though. The indoor seating area is nice as well, I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends. The food is good. The rice bowl I had was on their special asparagus menu. And, it was fresh and full of flavor. The best dish I’ve gotten at this restaurant.

Excellent atmosphere. Good service. Awesome place to people watch. Unfortunately, the male toilets are discussing. They smell horrible, and you get accosted by flies before you start. Please get a cleaner. Salad looks amazing, but never had food there.

Aside from the atmosphere, location, and service, the food here is ok at best. We had the specialty burger, which was quite flavorless with no character to it, befitting a specialty burger. The flammekueche was not much better. Aside from parts of the outside, the rest of it was fairly soggy with no real texture. Service was good and the location is nice.

This is a great place to eat out with kids, mainly because of the large square and water fountain (which was empty at the time of our visit in July 2022) immediately in front of it to keep them entertained. The restaurant also had crayons and paper for them to color with. Though there were many customers already sitting outdoors (and indoors) on this Sunday summer afternoon, were seated right away, got our food within 20 minutes, and our waitress was very friendly, efficient, and great at speaking English. Most tables were well shaded. The bathrooms were clean, if a bit annoying to get to (through to the back right of the restaurant then downstairs). The only issue was the bees, which of course appeared as soon as we got our wine and juice. Overall a wonderful experience, even with kids.

We're staying in Weilerbach for a few months, and we are eating here every single week. The dinners here have been some of the best meals of my life! Every appetizer, main dish, and dessert has been so flavorful and so beautifully crafted with local ingredients. They have accommodated my gluten allergy and made me fresh gluten-free pasta. The owners are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Call ahead to get a reservation, as they fill up quickly, and call ahead if you need gluten-free bread. Can't say enough good things about Markers Kleines!

Fantastic local gem. We’ve lived in Siegelbach for nearly 2 years and I’m sad we just discovered it (Google doesn’t always show you all the good restaurants nearby unless you search hard!). The food was excellent and they even brought our 23 yr old son an extra portion of truffle gnocchi (which was 👨‍🍳💋). The owner is very gregarious and enjoyable to chat with. Their wines are lovely and from a local winemaker. Their schnapps is the best I’ve ever had (try the William). And I’ve travelled a LOT. Martin would not divulge his secret (only hints) but I hope to discover the source soon.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Weilerbach. It’s owned by an older couple. The wife does the cooking, and the husband does the serving. The food is seasonal and mostly local and really tasty. But expect a relaxed, slow pace to the meal. Not a place to bring little kids; perfect for an adult celebration. It’s a small place so reservations are usually needed. In the summer there’s outdoor seating.

This place is absolutely wonderful!!! My husband and I just happened to be in Weilerbach and he found this restaurant on the map. It's classy without being stuffy. The owner, Martin, was very nice. We had a very pleasant chat with him. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

It was a good day to sit outside but we ended up moving inside because of the bugs. Good service too, would go again!

I had an amazing meal at Brauhaus am Markt! The cheese noodles were absolutely delicious—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their house salad was so fresh, and the dressing was incredible—it really stood out. I also tried their piña colada, which was smooth and refreshing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I’d definitely come back again!

Absolute gem of a restaurant. Lovely, friendly and inviting staff that are helpful with suggestions, fully speak English. MAJOR shoutout to both Susie and Mustafa (apologies if names were misspelled), WONDERFUL bar staff the both of ya, also, a million apologies for my fellow Americans that are a poor example of my fellow country men. I’ve eaten there multiple times these past few weeks, every item, absolutely delicious. The Tex-Mex schnitzel, interesting and tasty.. never had chili on schnitzel, but it works! Their beers they brew, excellent!!! Not eaten a single bad item on that menu, everything is tasty! The 1KFC fans watching the football match on the weekend were a trip and super lovely too! My Duolingo German absolutely sucked, but they made me feel welcomed even if we were using translators to communicate 😂 just a friendly vibe and this road warrior appreciates it! Just a little gem of a place that keeps me coming back while I’m here for work! Massive portions too for a price that’s right! You cannot go wrong popping into this place if you’re a fan of German food!

Really enjoyed the weizen and Palatine platter (liver dumpling, bratwurst, pork stomach with excellent sauerkraut and mashed potatoes with beer-bacon sauce).

This is a great place to grab some authentic German cuisine and beer. The second time I dined there they were doing work on the inside, so they had tables and chairs setup up for outside dining. That was an awesome experience in and of itself.

The food here was good. Serving size was generous. You won't go home hungry. And of course the beer selection was good. And they serve full liters.

Visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a fellow co-worker for very good pizza. Upon arrival there is a sign that states wait to be seated in english, but it seemed that only English speaking people were waiting, everyone else just breezed on by and sat themselves. Finally I caught the attention of a waitress and was escorted to a table on the patio area. The menu had a wide variety of food and the waitress came back to take my order. The food was brought to my table by other servers and I enjoyed it all. The atmosphere was nice, but with all the people there, it was quite loud and when the sun was setting, there were no blinds to dim the light. Paved parking was available for a fee unsure of the unpaved area if payment was required. The waitress brought me a dessert menu and I opted to get the dessert to go, which was delicious as well. I will definitely return to dine there again.

Love the pasta here! I had the Tortellini a la Chef and added shrimp to it and it was delicious! Husband had the Gnocchi al Forno and it was also fantastic. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the pizza the first time I tried it, for me it was just ok. But I will definitely be back to try more things on their menu!

Warm food and quick service. Taste was not great but overall I enjoyed. Salad was really fresh.

We ordered pizza to take home. Wait time 15mins which was adequate. Prices good for the size of pizza. Really great taste. Only downside was the absolute chaos we witnessed while waiting. Most people ate outside on the terrace, so wouldn't even be aware. But waiting and watching what was going on, it was hard to believe the place still exists. Nevertheless, can recommend the pizzas and would pick up again. Maybe order by phone and avoid the wait by the bar. 😊

We had three different pizzas and tortellini carbonara with Electric Ice Tea to quench our thirst….. chefs kiss to EVERYTHING! Customer service was great, restaurant was clean and welcoming atmosphere. Denise was our server and she was amazing! Definitely coming back.

A cool US-styled grill restaurant, with some tvs to watch sport and enjoy the time, but unfortunately the service completely mixed our order on the day we visited. They changed it later though, so no hard feelings, but still I think the food could be better.

Most reviews were positive so we wanted to try the place out. The prices do not match the food! Prices are up there and then the sides are separate. My husband got a steak but it didn’t come with a side. So he had to pay extra for corn and onion rings. My burger didn’t come with fries either and had to pay extra. The food was bland the burger was dry the fries and onion rings were old and seemed to have been refried in oil so it made them hard. Not sure what the hype is on the reviews because this place is not it. We don’t mind paying for good food but when the food is bad quality like this it’s disappointing.

Proper German American Diner. Entirely authentic probably due to the massive American base nearby. Food was exactly as you would expect with friendly staff and big portions, reasonable prices. Good car park. Highly recommended.

Large menu, a little overwhelming if you are indecisive but each item was good. A little pricy for portion sizes compared to other restaurants in the area, but A great place to meet with friends. Some drinks are a little overpriced (tea/lemonade) for the size and amount of ice they give you. But they are good. Salad was great and refreshing.

Located centrally in downtown of Kaiserslautern, And close to the main train station this place is very easily accessible. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was nice. The staff was friendly. The food was also very good. We had the spring rolls for appetizers and pho which was delicious. Also had the traditional Vietnamese coffee, which was very good. The only downside to this place is not having its own parking area and it is quite difficult to find parking around the place.

The hotpot was a great meal on a cold day to warm us up. We got the hotpot with seafood, fishballs, and beef. The broth of the soup was great, had a good lemongrass flavor going for it and was quite enjoyable with the noodles. The meats (seafood and beef) were also great. The only thing that prevented this from being 5-star was to things. We wish there was more vegetables included with the meal, and also more flavorful sides (cilantro, basil, bean sprouts, so forth). Other than that, the hotpot was good and we will be eating it again.

Went there with a friend and sat right in front of the good size and clean aquarium, which was nice. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive and we even found Korean Apple Soju to drink. The food ordered arrived within a reasonable time and was delicious. The Beef Pho was good, but the duck was the star. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The food was exceptional, delicious, fresh ingredients, intense flavors... but the service was so slow that we waited a whole hour for our appetizer — and the restaurant was only half full. Excellent food, but not if you’re hungry.

we love the vietnamese food here, feel very authentic. i ordered a big plate of vietnamese crepe with pork and strimp and when asked for take away box as i could only finish half of the portion, the manager said it will not be good to take away as it will get bad,,, i was a bit shocked, but i guess he is thoughtful. next time, i will order my favourite Bun instead.

The food was good - but we were a little bit disappointed. The chicken and onion was advertised as "spicy", and turned out pretty bland. Desserts are interesting but on the more expensive side. Atmosphere is not the highlight of the place, and it gets easily pretty loud.

My husband and I have visited Zur Burg twice and I really think this is the best restaurant in Kaiserslautern and the perfect intimate date night spot. Not only is the food spectacular but so is their service. After each course came out we had their friendly staff checking in to see if we needed anything else. (Rare for Germany.) We had escargot to start, my husband had an aged steak, and I had the carbonara. Thank you guys for the fabulous experience! We’ll definitely see you soon!

Had the Tomahawk Ribeye medium rare and it was amazing. Great flavor in the steak. The fries were great as well. Although I couldn’t eat all the fries because I was full from eating the steak. This was my third time at Zur Burg and the food was amazing each time. I will definitely be back.

Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. He ordered an Australian and it was delicious. The flavor and texture exceeded expectations. I ordered pasta with seafood and it was also very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant for a good steak.

The steaks here were great and cooked perfectly based on our preferences. The service was great, and we, for the most part, enjoyed our dinner. The one main complaint that kind of soured the experience a bit was the smoking from right outside the entrance. The smoke came right in, and we could smell it, which hampered the taste of our meal a bit. If not for that, then this would be an easy 5 stars for me.

Went here for the first time. Delicious wine and beer and a really great menu. Their steaks a really big and cooked to perfection. I ordered the schnitzel with bell pepper sauce and spatzel and goulash soup. This was probably the best schnitzel I've ever had.

Great service, very welcoming, fresh food & fair prices. My husband loved his Tomahawk steak. He said it was the best steak he had in Germany. Schnitzel gravy for my chicken enchiladas. Neon green slime instead of guac. Yet another terrible "Mexican" restaurant. This place would probably be great if your only experience with Mexican food was the stuff made by Italians and Middle-Easterners everywhere else in town. If you've had real Mexican food, please don't bother. The mini-sombrero lights above the tables were a nice touch.

Rice is over cooked, please don’t come here and waste your money. Mango margarita didn’t taste good tasted like was and alcohol no flavor. Steak fajita big chunks no flavor.

We tried 2 margaritas that tasted like just unripe fruit. Didn’t taste anything else. The tortilla chips weren’t crispy. My wife and I ordered the California burrito. The beef was flavorful. It was ok. They brought out 3 of 4 of our meals. Asked me what I ordered and I told them that I the same as my wife. He went back and brought a thrown together burrito. The cheese on top of mine was still cold while my wife’s cheese was melted on top

So first the positive! The atmosphere/theme of the restaurant is well done and the service is good. The virgin piña colada was yummy as well. But that is where the facade begun to fade. Rapidly. I saw elote on the menu and was excited to give it a try. Lo-and-behold I did not read the fine print and was wildly disappointed when I recieved a simple corn-on-the-cobb with a pat of butter. No seasoning. No crema. Just false labeling. Then my main course, the veggie quesadilla, came. I ordered it sans broccoli and cauliflower because who in their right mind would have either on any quesadilla? I figured it was a safe bet, right? Wrong. Disappointed again. There were SURPRISE carrots over this dish. And I say surprise since it was listed nowhere on the menu listing. Lastly, I hoped to end the evening on a redeeming high note with fried ice cream but no. That was a failure too. It was cold on the outside (not freshly done), let alone to mention the advertised crispy cornflake outershell? Yeah, just a flat homogeneous flabby skin. I honestly don't know what I expected. You'd have to be EXTREMELY convincing to get me to give this place another chance.

This! Is! Not!!! Mexican! food! Period! We should have gotten suspicious already when we looked at the Menu it's just too large and overwhelming but really I was already hesitating to order the chicken when I saw the word Teriyaki flavored (what the ????😂) So when I asked if the chicken can be spiced differently since teriyaki is an Asian flavor she asked the kitchen and came back to offer buffalo sauce?? Omg lol So I thought I'll give it a shot but as expected it tasted terrible. My husband ordered a dish that came with fried potatoes (huh? Also never seen that in a Mexican restaurant). Then we asked if they had ceviche - they didn't even know what that is. Lastly we asked for pico de gallo- come on - right? Everybody knows that ! And he seemed to know what it was but came back with a onion heavy dip with cucumbers in it and barely any tomatoes - so wow - no did not know it ...😂 Sorry but never coming back here. Maybe we are spoiled Californians as we used to eat a lot of Mexican food there but well... moving on and never coming back here. Sorry.

My wife and I sincerely enjoyed this family friendly atmosphere and delicious Mexican food with a German twist. We lived in Texas and know real Mexican food but this place we would definitely return too! Customer service was great, as long as you remember to lift the flag at your table to get a waiter or waitresses, outstanding flavor!

Great service and good food. We ordered the queso with chips to start the our entrees were the chicken quesadillas, the chicken chimichanga, and the grande burrito. The chicken had a great marinaded flavor and the avocado wedges were delicious. We ordered the sangria, maracuja tea, and bottled still water.

No waiting, able to sit anywhere (since it was not crowded). Fresh chips and salsa served while we waited on drinks. Tuesday is currently All You Can Eat Ribs. Yum! Macho supreme with chicken ( very tender & juicy chx).

Fast service and great food. We were on our way back to Belgium and found it on Google maps. They have a huge selection of drinks. No margaritas for the driver! The beef and chicken fajitas for two is a huge meal. We will be back.

I had a fantastic experience at Sabor de Mexico ! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive particularly Lisa. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the homemade salsa had just the right amount of kick. I also appreciated the variety on the menu, including great vegetarian options. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell there’s pride in every dish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone craving real, flavorful Mexican food! Gracias for a great meal!

This is definitely not a Mexican restaurant. The flavors are different, even for the drinks. The service was good. However, if you are craving Mexican food I recommend looking elsewhere.

The service was decent; the staff were pleasant but tended to be out of sight quite often. The food was definitely not authentic Mexican, so that was disappointing. We tried the carne asada burrito, a chicken taco, and shredded beef enchilada. The carne asada was not seasoned properly and was definitely not sliced thin; it tasted ok, but not what we were expecting. The taco was flavorful but came in a hard shell, and I could have sworn the menu said it would be served in a corn tortilla. That may very well be my mistake, though. The enchilada was ok, but nothing to write home about. We also had a Modelo and frozen strawberry margarita. The margarita tasted like a Virgin drink, so I ordered an extra shot of tequila. I also tried the flan; again, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. Overall, the food isn't terrible, but it's certainly not the authentic Mexican food I was expecting. Would I return? Unlikely.

This restaurant is a must-visit in Kaiserslautern! Located on the 21st floor, it has a breathtaking view of the city. The food was just as impressive – I had the burger with a fried egg on top and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The salad was divine and so fresh. For dessert, we tried the mango tiramisu which was light, unique, and absolutely delicious. Between the view, the atmosphere, and the food, this place is a winner!

The food was exceptional!! The steaks were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! We ordered the filet with herb butter and rosemary potato’s, and a filet with a Japanese pepper sauce and wasabi mashed potatoes! Both potato sides were also delicious!! The restaurant has a great view of Kaiserslautern, even at night with the city lit up! They also have a good cocktail menu especially for the area.

The food was so good!! I asked for my steak to be medium rare and they did not disappoint! We celebrated a birthday and they allow open flame for the cupcake. The waitress was so sweet and extremely attentive. the only critique is the chairs need to be updated, some don’t match and the leather is peeling. Other than that, the food is amazing, the cutlery set up is exquisite and the drink options are more than plenty, alcohol and non alcoholic beverages.

We came for dinner on my birthday. The food seemed to be made picture perfect. Most importantly it was made to order and was fresh. The views of Kaiserslautern were spectacular. The bar was fully staffed, so if you order a drink you will receive it quickly. My recommendation for improvement: The restaurant needs to decide if it’s an Asian, Italian or German restaurant. This is my personal opinion.

OK, I hate to start off with 5 stars on my first visit because I will have high expectations on my next visit, which I am scared of, but I must try it again. First, I'll say the location is nice. Top floor with a view of the city. The inside of the restaurant is not huge but just right and cozy. Can even have a seat outside on the wrap around balcony. Checks all the atmosphere blocks. ✅️ I was there with an excited and fun birthday group of 6. I did not get the lovely cute server, but thank you for your patience and being a good group photographer.😁🙈 She was very responsive, polite, friendly, and attentive. Checks all the service blocks. ✅️ Ok The food...I didn't know what to expect as I have been putting visiting the restaurant for over a year. I feel it was worth the wait and exceeded expectations. I thought it was going to be just a fancy bougie place with subpar tastes and portions. I was wrong. The food was flavorful and the prtions were just right. I tried multiple dishes, and they all had unique flavors. They were presented well and tasted delicious. Even tried a couple of desserts. The chocolate chili brownie was okay, but the star of the show was the mango tiramisu. That was delicious. They have a good selection of wine and a bar that I will investigate more of on my next trip. I definitely will make a return trip to see if the 5 stars still hold true.

Good spot for a date night. The view is spectacular, especially if you can catch the sunset. Great service even when they’re super busy. Appetizers were delicious, & main entrees left a little to be desired. I did enjoy my mango tiramisu very much.

Watching it come together adds a fun, personal touch you don’t get at most restaurants. The ordering system is smooth—you’re given a card when you walk in, and every item you order gets added to it. At the end, they just scan the card and you pay—super convenient and no splitting bills stress. The food? Delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and hearty. Oh—and the bread is free, which is always a win in my book. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, perfect for hanging out with friends or even a casual date. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

Causal Italian restaurant for the whole family, chill spot with your shopping friends or come a grab a meal by yourself - either way their staff is friendly and helpful, food is made fresh to order and the prices are reasonable. We also found that most of the staff speak English. Great people watching place too!

It was a new experience. I like the set up and enjoy seeing them cook it in front of us. But my daughter was not a fan of her pasta dish. I enjoyed the salad. It was also made fresh.

The restaurant has a mellow vibe and dark lighting, which made it a good place for our small party to have dinner. It wasn’t busy on a Wednesday night and we got our food made fast. The pasta (chicken Alfredo) was delicious but the pizza my friend got was just okay, probably would try different toppings if I go back, or just stick with the pasta. The pizza serving was a lot though for 1 person +soup or salad All of the workers were friendly and fun to chat with! As for parking, be careful that the mall parking closes at 10pm and locks the gates, whereas other parking garages still let you drive out. But that’s not Vapiano’s fault!

Italian hibachi… basically….. and it’s awesome, the food is always fresh , wide selection of pasta, pizza , drinks and pastries. Very big sitting area and hardly busy or long longs since they have so many cooks. They have vegan and vegetarian options (not just salads). ** debit/credit and cash accepted**

This place was everything!!! Great service by our Chef. The food was amazingly good. The overall atmosphere was very diverse. And this place was crazy packed, but yet very well maintained. Absolutely love it. I will definitely return my next trip here to Germany.

Signs leading to the restaurant start from the hotels lobby. I thought I was lost trying to find the restaurant. It's in a bit of an obscure location, and it's really quaint. I went for lunch, and the menu was limited. You could get some drinks and 3 different kinds of ramen. I tried to get the okonomiyaki, but I was told it wasn't offered as an option during lunchtime. The food was good, and I wish I'd come for dinner instead so I can get a variety of options.

The food here was great, especially for the area. The chicken karage was nicely marinated and had a good crunch to it. The sushi roll had good quality rice, and the fish didn't smell like other places that do this type of dish. The okanomayaki was also quite good, just a little too much sauce for our taste. Finding the place is a little tricky, but you just need to go through the lobby of the Alcatraz hotel and follow the signs. Overall, it's a good place to get some Japanese food in the area.

Heard about this through a Facebook group. Glad to have tried is. Their broth is so silky smooth. Their eggs aren’t soft boiled or soaked in seasoning but they are still good. The roasted onions leave a great after taste and the chasu in the shoyu base was so so tasty. It gets a little warm in the small shop and they can’t serve a lot at one time as they are really small but what they do serve is really really good.

The sushi was nice and fresh, and it tasted great. The takoyaki was also really delicious. It's definitely pricey, but the food is great, and the staff is friendly.

Authentic and fine Japanese food😋 The food is made with a lot of love and care🤍 Even the spring onions in the miso are thinly cut to almost transparent! I love his Karaage (fried chicken), its very juicy and nicely seasoned with taste of ginger😋 🍣 Sushis are really top!! Very fresh, best scallops, hamachi, Ikura…Served with real wasabi. Super super attentive to details. I am amused!! 🤩

We’ve been in Germany for 4 weeks and this was without a doubt the best food we’ve had! We went with the KARAAGE for an appetizer. Then we split the KYOTO OKONOMIYAKI and MANGO SUSHI! It did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious! I also love the fact that the folks working here are actually Japanese. They rocked it tonight. Will definitely be going back! The restaurant is in an old prison that has been converted to a hotel. It will be a little strange parking in the old yard and then walking through the new lobby to get to the restaurant, but we’ll worth the trip. ごちそうさまでした！！

(Visiting from USA) We had a splendid dinner last night. Service and food is FANTASTIC. Casual with a fine-dining vibe to it. Recommend reservations but not required! We ordered the chicken breast with mushroom gravy and potatoes, and also got a variety plate with lamb, beef, and chicken served with fries and tzaziki! They were very aware of allergies and communicated ingredients very well! Beautiful restaurant - we hope to come again before we go back home!

This is a nice Greek restaurant in K-Town with a good price to quality ratio. The minced pork with goat cheese was very tasty, but just a tad over salted. The Teller combo was very nice. The lamb was flavorful and very tender. The chicken was good, but the gyro was on the dry side. The fries were actually very nice, super crispy. We had ordered non-alcoholic beverages, and in the end, they provided us a non-alcoholic substitute for the ouzo, which was a nice touch. Service was amazing, and the ambiance was nice and cozy. They only take cash, so just keep that in mind. Overall, it's a pretty good place to go and have a meal at.

A wonderful, unexpected surprise. We were greeted with a smile and though they were busy they were able to seat us with a time limit. (Lesson learned … Make a reservation). All of our food was plentiful and full of flavor. Salads, meat dishes, grilled peppers and fries were robust. Atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Will return. A definite must in KTown!

I had the BEST birthday dinner at Berg Athos! The food and wine are always amazing, but my friend also asked the chef if he can make me a birthday cake and his wife literally made the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. I hope she opens a bakery someday because oh my gosh I continue to dream of this cake even days later 🤤😅 All of the staff were incredibly kind to my friends and I, and I had such a perfect night! Thank you!! 🥰

This hotel is set in a beautiful location, but what truly makes it exceptional is the people. Every staff member—from the front desk to the cleaning team to the restaurant—was gracious, kind, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like being part of a family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the showers were excellent, and having a 24-hour front desk with a live person was a huge plus. The restaurant was also fantastic. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Kaiserslautern. Highly recommended!

I am not articulate enough to give the praise this place deserves. Honestly. The food is utterly fantastic. Drinks, just wow...their selection is ridiculous. The hotel is clean, efficient, comfortable, and calming. Zero negatives (maybe parking) that I can come up with. Stay here and certainly eat here. You won't regret it.

Easily the best hotel we've stayed at in all of Europe. The rooms had excellent air conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. Furthermore, we held our wedding ceremony in one of the conference rooms, and the staff was so kind and supportive to us and our guests. To name only a few of the ways they went above and beyond: one of the staff very kindly surprised us with a beautiful swan decoration in the room we had rented for the evening. She also helped us set up the sound system in the event room, and she was so kind and supportive throughout the entire evening. Also, we had requested to rent a room for the night that was as close as possible to the room we were holding the wedding ceremony in. The staff coordinated to ensure the room closest to the ceremony room was available to us, which made moving items (and, of course, ourselves) to and from the ceremony so much easier. Despite the large number of guests dining a la carte, the staff was very kind and ran dinner service perfectly. Another of the staff members frequently checked up on us during the evening to help with anything we needed (lighting, moving tables, bringing down the wedding cake and extra plates for us). At the end of the night as I was packing up the event room, he came to check on us one last time and offered to help us tear down and bring our decorations and gear to our car. The hotel had been coordinating with me to plan the room setup and seating arrangement prior to the reserved date. When we had a same day cancelation and had to adjust our seating arrangement, their response was "no problem at all, we'll handle it." I felt terrible asking for a change after they had clearly put in so much work into making the room beautiful, but they reasurred us that it was no issue and they wanted us to have a perfect evening. My wife, myself, and our guests felt so supported and taken care of. I'm sure the evening placed a heavy load on the kitchen and front of house staff, but everybody was so kind, professional, and ran everything masterfully. We couldn't have had such a special day without the support of this wonderful team of people. Thank you so very much for all you did.

We stayed in a junior suite. Great room free coffee Good staff Nice diner. Great breakfest. And a Tesla supercharger location next door. Where coming back when we need a overnight stay.

All in all we had a very pleasant visit. Reservation over the phone went smoothly. We got there and got the tables that we had requested for. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the pleasant day. The food was good. They offer a host of German specialties. The food presentation was also very well done. The order came with a side salad. The dressing was very good and I liked the fact that it had enough dressing on it. Other restaurants salads are quite dry. The service personnel were very friendly and helpful. There is also plenty of paid parking within walking distance from the restaurant. Unfortunately, I was told that they do not offer “food to go.” So I just ordered a regular meal and asked for a box and boxed it myself. Basically, that was my food to go. I don’t understand why they cannot offer it. I also had a bit of leftovers from the meal I consumed, and it was strange that I was also charged for that box. I’ve never been charged for the packaging in a Restaurant.

From the moment we walked in till we left, everything was great. Staff is very friendly. Our waiter was knowledgeable about different wines we could pair with our food.. This restaurant is on the higher end but totally worth it. Food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. This place is so much better than the one downtown. Definitely check it out and see for yourself.

We’ve eaten here twice and really enjoyed the food. The menu has a lot of options and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was good. Definitely try the fried potatoes— they are so delish!!! My only complaint is that they don’t do take away orders. We wanted to order a meal to go but they said they don’t carry take out containers and that next time we need to bring our own container. Which I thought was very strange.

Good place for German restaurant style food. Everything was tasty and the service was good as well. We had the Jaegerschnitzel, Salmon and salad and the large salad with fried 'Hirtenkaese' a type of soft cheese that is often BBQ or pann fried. The view of the surrounding park and fountain are also nice 👌.

I was there on Tuesday. There were only 3 servers but they did a really great job to keep everything under control. They tried to serve everyone in a timely manner but the kitchen was noisy and annoying. I felt bad for the servers because there were only a few of them and it looked like they were being rushed because I could hear the loud ringing constantly from the kitchen. With only 3 people serving, they should be more patient with them. Good service overall though.

I enjoyed this place, the inside was nice, the outside with the fountain was nice. The menu is small, but the items that they serve was very good and if you are like me less is more lol it takes me forever to choose. The service was also great.

This place is great, the food is high quality and low price, and the beer is excellent. I only have one complaint, it's really weird and unclear how they manage the restaurant. They are completely booked for reservations, but the restaurant is literally 60 percent empty. Tables and tables of empty chairs but if you ask them to reserve, they'll say they don't have any space. It seems like they define "fully booked" as "less than half full".

Zimtblute Vietnamese restaurant in Einsiedlerhof consistently delivers outstanding service. The welcoming smiles and attentive staff make each visit a pleasure. Nice asian restaurant for having a casual lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable for the size and quality of the food. The soupe and duck was both very tasty and exactly perfect in terms of size if you are hungry. Restaurant as such is very new and clean. You are feeling comfortable being here, although it could be a little more cozy.

We love this place for the food and the people that run it. All the dishes are really nice and the people that work here are very friendly. The summer roles are awesome and flavorful, and their Thai dishes are really good too. Haven’t had a dish here that we didn’t like.

Love this place, for me their Beef pho is one of the best in town also, They sushi burrito salmon is sooo good. It's not necessary to make a reservation. The staff is always so friendly, they give me a rose on Mother's Day. It was the cherry on top!

One of the best options in town for great food. On weekends a reservation is strongly recommended. The ratio of price and quality is unbeaten in Kaiserslautern. They offer great saisonal options on top of the standard menu. The wine recommendations are usually very good, which is not too hard as the wine selection is great.

I just now finished a wonderful meal. It was not busy on Tuesday night in May. Service was exceptional. The rumpsteak w/roquefortsause was flavorful. The steak was done correct to my order and not dry. The Riesling wine was excellent. This restaurant is recommend for a date or a business dinner. You will not be sorry choosing this restaurant. Located well a bit off the Main Street yet close by.

French food at its finest! Very reasonable prices. Reservations are highly recommended especially during the summer season, dining on the back terrace is a special treat.

We stopped here for one night while coming back from vacation. The restaurant was super busy with groups, and therefore the service was a bit slower (we had to chase down the waitress multiple times to order), but the staff was nice and friendly, so we didn't really mind that. The food in the restaurant was super delicious, and we would definitely come back to try other dishes. The rooms were on the small side but very tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as there was very little choice, and what was eaten/drunk by the guests was not restocked (e.g., orange juice, boiled eggs).

Amazing food, service and location. I ate here nearly every night that I arrived here in Germany and it is picturesque as well as delicious. The staff is absolutely wonderful. There is longer term lodging accommodations by Judith Kern next door, as well extremely perfect. Highest recommendation!

If you find yourself out past the FCK stadium on a tree-lined drive, keep going until this place pops out. The food was great and it’s a wonderful spot to celebrate with large groups.

Really pleasant place, with a great beer garden, good food (reasonably priced) located in pure nature, far from the noise of the city or street traffic. We enjoyed our lunch here, the only downside was the waiting time to get some additional drinks (and in the end we got something different then ordered ...). Overall a nice experience, we'll be back again. I would mention also that it is a good starting point for hiking or biking trails.

We loved eating here, such a nice ambiance. The food and drinks were delicious, with a few vegan and vegetarian options. Plus outside you can enjoy spotting the horses or even a short hike up the mountain. Such a cool spot!

I have visited this place twice for food and/or drinks (not a hotel stay), one with just myself and my kids ages 6, 4, and 2, and once as a large group with friends. Both times it was summer time and we were able to sit outside on the patio across the road from the restaurant, which has TONS of shaded seating, and even an enclosed seating area. The staff is always kind and speak English well and provide great service. The food is great and comes within a reasonable amount of time, and isn't expensive. The best part, in my opinion, is the playground at the back and to the left of the outdoor seating, which is where my kids spent the majority of the time on both occasions (I suppose it might be a negative, as I can hardly get them to sit down and eat). The playground has a climbing frame with a slide, a unique seesaw, a ball pit, a netted swing, and it is enclosed so that children would have to work to get out onto the street from the playground without going through the restaurant area. The only downside is that the playground isn't entirely visible from all of the tables; you specifically have to sit close to be able to see them, which I imagine is only a priority for younger children. Bathrooms are in the main building. The parking lot is quite large, gravel, and partially shaded, with access to the trail system, most notably for Humbergturm, which is 1.7km away. The entire property is at the end of a forest road outside of Kaiserslautern, making for a very peaceful, wooded atmosphere. Overall, a great place to come with kids and to meet friends, with great food and drink options, and a great outdoor seating area and an entertaining playground for younger children. Oh, and there are horses near the parking lot and cows near the playground. What more could you ask for?

We love this spot. Great for German food and drink. They have a large outdoor area for sitting. Staff speak English if your working on your German still. Food is great. There is a small play area for kids too. It’s a nice spot in Kaiserslautern, but you feel like your out in the woods as it is just far enough a drive to seem as such. Great for a lunch/dinner or larger gatherings.

Nice atmosphere inside or out. The indoor seating area is decorated nicely with large tables. The outdoor seating is in a great square with a fountain. Large and small tables with umbrellas for shade. The food is good. Always plated nicely. The wakame (seaweed) with scallops and almost nude rolls are a favorite. Fast service, friendly servers.

Feels so good to be back in Germany 🇩🇪 The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and nice. Service was great! The food was very delicious. They have a very large menu selection. The specialty drinks are phenomenal. Prices are very reasonable.

Another good all-around Asian restaurant where they have a little bit of everything from different cultures. No one dish stands out, but still has a good flavor that defines what Asian culture it came from. The Asian chicken salad was good, the chicken having the flavor of a green curry with a peanut sauce dressing. The spring rolls were good as well, being served with the signature chili sauce. Overall, if you want Asian food and don't know what to get, this place will likely have something for your taste.

The place is definitely overpriced. You’re paying for the atmosphere and presentation, that’s the only thing that sets it apart from other local sushi spots. Great for a date night. I got the sate and the veggie mix sushi set. Sate was a solid 6/10 not super flavorful but the sauce made up for it. Sushi was very standard, nothing crazy.

Wonderful experience! I ordered takeout on a Saturday night, which only took 15 minutes once I placed my order. Once I arrived I was greeted promptly and wow what a beautiful space. The server who assisted me was kind and laser-focused as she was to only one working at the time! Once I tucked in everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I cannot wait to come back!

Authentic Italian meal if your in the Ramstein- Kaiseslauten area. The Bruschetta is amazing, Always enjoy the Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes. Great service from the staff. Amazing outdoor dining area.

My husband made reservations for a date night and glad we did as it was a full night. Food was great, atmosphere was romantic, and service was good. Only downside was it took a bit to get our tab. We had to ask twice. Overall, we both said we would return.

I had the pleasure of traveling from Alaska to Kaiserslautern, and without a doubt, one of the best decisions I made was visiting this incredible Italian restaurant. As Italian, I expected authentic food and the food was outstanding, authentic Italian flavors, elegantly presented, and every dish hits the mark. Fresh ingredients and delicate presentation. The vitello tonnato and carpaccio were perfectly presented and bursting with flavor, while the oven-baked penne was out of this world. The menu offers a variety of unique and creative dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. I can’t recommend it enough! The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Very good restaurant! The staff was very nice, the waitress spoke english. They had a pretty busy night, but great atmosphere! The food was good and they have a pretty good wine menu if you’re a winer!

First time in Germany visiting our son and this was our second restaurant this week. Great spot off the beaten path, and WOW was the food great here. Started with some tomato soup and bruschetta, and they were fantastic. If this is how we started we couldn't wait for the main meal. We ordered rump roast steak, spinach ravioli, and a few pizzas. Everything was great, hot, fresh and oh so good. Finished up with some tiramisu. If you can only go to one place, this is the place to be. I think I'm going to really enjoy visiting my son and having dinner here

It was my very first time there and had a great dinner time. Food was so good than expected. The waiter is a nice and friendly man. He speaks english.

This is a good Asian buffet in Kaiserslautern. If you’re looking for a wide selection of Chinese and sushi offerings, their buffet was kept very fresh when I visited. Desserts were many and small, so many could be tried without over-indulgence. Their all-you-can drink selection of soft drinks, beer, wine and water was included with the one-price meal. The alcoholic drink selection was limited to a couple German pils and 1-2 basic red/white wines, but good enough to meet expectations. All drinks are self-serve, so I could get as many as I’d like with the food. Kids are charged at a different rate based on their age and 2-under eat free.

Don’t waste you money on the buffet. The meat at the hibachi came back half cooked and the rest of the food, mainly the vegetables, were way over cooked. My wife got the seafood for the hibachi and that was half cooked too. I spit back out my food and let the staff know but they still charged me even though I only ate 2 “vegetable” spring rolls that were filled with noodles and drank a coke. Now I get to sit back and wait for the impending diarrhea that I had to pay for.

All you can eat AND DRINK…wine, beer, soda, water…wide variety…and did I say ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK. One price (31 Euros), 2.5 hours and 3 euros for every hour after. The food is endless as well; typical Chinese, Mongolian BBQ, sushi, frog legs, kangaroo, beef, chicken, lamb and so much seafood. Buffet food is buffet food but this place has enough variety to satisfy just about any taste. I believe it’s one of the best meal deals you’ll find in Kaiserslautern. Highly recommend if you’re hungry or thirsty or hungry and thirsty.

I came lunch time.. felt disappointed for few things. Not much options, no fresh grilling and no chocolate fountain lol some people would say yeah it’s like this for the price.. but it’s not Because I’ve been in many other places (in and out Germany) same concept and same price but had plenty of options plus fresh grilling Lunch time. service is good. I don't know what magic they do to make their chicken so good, but keep it up. I wasn't a super fan of the fried rice, but that's just me. However every chicken dish they've made for me has just been amazing. I have ordered their chicken chop suet three or four times now and it amazing. I haven't been in their shop yet, everything has been delivery, but I have yet to be disappointed in anything I have asked for. Even they fried rice was as ordered, just not a super fan of fried rice. Will order again.

A great Chinese buffet ,where I tried some food for my first time, I had plenty of food , Such a best option if you want to have a variety from sea food, zuchi to vegetable I would recommend it .

I've tried a lot of their menu so far, sampler special and 2 serving meal combination. Foods are delicious for sure. None of their menu has disappointed me yet. One down is there is no reception inside of the restaurant. There is a wifi, but they did not share when I asked because it's not for the customers. It's their business, so not an issue at all, but asking for tips after that is kind of wild, and that's where I took those stars off.

Overall good place for Indian food. The portions are little smaller for the price. Wish the garlic naan had more garlic

I’ve been coming here since highschool and they never fail! Food is the best, the service is always so wonderful as I am a regular. My girlfriend and I always order a Sheryl temple, butter chicken, butter naan and lamb biryani. Always so great and the service portions are perfect there and then great reheated for left overs.

Must try chicken tikka masala and on weekends thr dosas are must try for !! Never expected a South Indian food in Kaiserslautern and they satisfied my dosa carvings and now I got to wait for weekends to eat their dosas !!

I hadn't had Indian food in awhile and I took a chance on this place. Long story short, I won't be getting Indian food for a LOOOONGG LONG TIME. First night I was met with awful indigestion, second night, it literally feels like shards of glass are moving through my system. I can go on... If you value your comfort and booty health. Just don't eat here

The food is very good. I had lamb vindaloo. It's spicy but not so spicy that the flavor is covered up. The garlic Naan is outstanding. I'd eat here more often if I lived closer. If you like Indian food, you'll love this restaurant.

Today was my first time dining at this restaurant and I cannot wait to come back! I had the Dal Makhani, Samosas, and the Aloo Naan all of which were spot on. The naan was piping hot and freshly made (from scratch!), and the same can be said for everything else. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Give this wonderful establishment a try if you have not yet!

This was my second time here, and the burgers are still some of the best I've had in the area. The bun was nice and fluffy with a light crisp, the patty was juicy, and the overall flavor was just great. You definitely will need to wait a bit after ordering, but for me, it is worth it. So far, I haven't had a better burger in the K-Town area yet.

Found this place on the Google maps while being on the business trip in the Kaiserslautern. Glad that I visited it, because I tried one of the best burgers in my life. Fresh, tasty, delicious, juicy, unbelievable. Decide to go with the egg and bacon burger, and didn't regret it. Bucket of French fries was enough for two people, but once you start to eat it, other person will probably want to order themselves a bucket of fries as well. They were crispy, perfectly fried, dry. Staff was polite, and helpful. They're speaking English, so the language barrier shouldn't be a problem. Interior design is minimalistic, clean, kind of a hipster thing with some retro touch on top of it. All in all, coming back again for sure! Totally recommended! :-)

The place has a really cool deco and vibe, the whole hipster atmosphere is nicely achieved. The burgers come out fast and they are fantastic, mine could have been taken of the grill 2 seconds earlier but the other one was really perfect. We had the Ziegenkäse/Feige (goat cheese and figs), super good combination with the sweet chunky figs and ultra creamy goat cheese. We also ordered the bacon/egg, the bacon was super crispy, and a perfect sunny side up egg inside started dripping as it got bitten. Everything is home made, so the buns (so soft) and the French fries, really good. Overall great place to grab a great burger, done fast but very good.

I picked this place at random for me and my friend to eat at and I definitely made the right choice! The Sissi burger was so good and the milkshake made us feel like little kids during the summer! OMG! We will definitely return! The food was surprisingly amazing! They have such a huge selection of burgers and gourmet at that. They also have great salads. We ordered The Joseph Burger and I don't remember the name of my salad, but it had mixed greens, sugared pecan nuts, pickled onions, and other yummy ingredients, such as goat cheese and a vinaigrette dressing that took this salad to the next level. The sweet potato fries were delish, as was the strawberry lemonade with mint leaves. We didn't have dessert because the portions were big, so we'll return for just dessert next time and take our food to-go. Oh, the place was clean, had fast service and friendly service. Don't look too far to find another burger place, this one is it! The atmosphere is perfect for lunch or dinner but I would suggest eating a little further from the doors as it does smell like cigarettes while you're eating too close to outside. We settled on the Ferdinand and the Theodore with Truffle Fries! The Ferdinand tasted like a better version of a Big Mac and the Theodor was tasty as well & very filling. The Truffle Fries were the best I've had in Germany so far because the sauce is a perfect pair with the crunch of the fries! I didn't get to try the desert, they have various waffles & milkshakes but I was too full to try any of them! Next time for sure!

A Chinese buffet that is just like any other buffet in the area, except this one does have more of a selection to choose from. Unlimited alcohol and a little kids' play area hidden away in the corner. Buffett is a little bit more expensive here than in the states - so maybe not something you'd come to enjoy every weekend.

Overall I enjoyed my time here. This is a Chinese food buffet. They have lots of options and are nominally priced for the area. The food is pretty good, all of it was hot and pretty basic. They have Mongolian grill but they cook everything together so the noodles end up getting burnt and the veggies don’t get soft which is why the mark down stars. I generally enjoyed everything except that. It’s worth a shot.

Let me start this by saying everyone in there was incredibly nice and smiling. This is not a review about the people who work there. I went here a year ago or so and the food was acceptable for sure… I went today and this place took a nosedive. Everything I had was flavorless or barely warm . The sushi tasted old and also like it was touching other fish or something. Tasted really weird. I would find another Chinese restaurant to be honest. :(

All you can eat and drink in a close vicinity to the city center. The food was really amazing with lots of options to choose from. The grill is a must try and also a lot of drink options as well. The restaurant itself is so huge and can accommodate a lot of people. Overall a very nice experience and would be very happy to visit the place again.

Found this moldy cone 🙃 When I brought it up the first staff member he seemed annoyed that I even showed him. The second staff member was very quick to take the bowl away, then she quickly walked away. They left the box of cones out for everyone else to eat from and no further action was taken.

We really love this restaurant it's been around in Kaiserslautern for a long time. Service is friendly and always attentive even when they are busy. We never had anyone be rude. The atmosphere is great, but the interior could use an upgrade. On weekends, it can be a bit busy and loud. This time, we had the grilled calamari, a small pizza, and the salmon with rosemary potatoes. The food was delicious and flavorful. We will be back for sure.

Okay Italian restaurant, for Germany. The food's decent but, certainly not the best. I would go back as part of a work function but probably not on my own as a choice for me to take my family to an authentic Italian restaurant. However, I did enjoy my mushroom risotto very much; it was cooked well. The lasagna was a different story, as it was too soft, and with too much runny sauce... Meaning that they overcooked the pasta and the sauce wasn't thick enough.

Yes you want to eat here yes the service is amazing yes the food is amazing. On top of free parking across the street and a beautiful beer garden, it’s a gemütlich experience for yummy Pfälzer food and authentic German gastfreundlichkeit. Highly recommend.

The place is nice with a very big patio. It has also lovely courtyard playground with a mini zip line. So great for the kids.The service was good, our food this time around again was way too salty. We had the Kaesespaetzle, Jaegerschnitzel ( large portion but overfried), Rumsteak (pretty small portion) and Mushroom pasta (undercooked Mushrooms). Normally this was a good place to eat, but both last times I ate here it was over salted. Maybe just go there for drinks and ice cream.

We stopped here while staying in Fischbach, the service was great, the food was great. We ordered a schnitzel and a chicken cordon blue. The cordon blue was awesome. We also ordered the käsespatzle and it was awesome. Def order them. Our card did not work at first because the card reader went through Lichtenstein and we did not authorize that Country with our bank. The host was super nice and helped us figure it out. Our bank corrected the error and we were able to pay.

Ordered a Flammkuchen and it did not disappoint, crispy, flavorful, and just like I remember. My wife had the turkey schnitzel with spätzle and gravy, and it was excellent as well. We sat outside on a sunny May afternoon, which made the experience even better. The outdoor seating is spacious, and I can see the Biergarten getting very popular in the summer. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for a delicious meal and a relaxed atmosphere!

I really love the food here. Excellent flammkuchen, great kase spaetzel, and crispy schnitzel. They have a nice, big outdoor seating area with lots of umbrellas for shade. The servers are always friendly, and the food comes out quickly. The caprese is also very tasty. Decent prices, but more on the pricey side. Takes credit cards. Yummy ice cream dessert menu! I have been here probably about 3 times so far, and I will be back!

Idk what happened. Went there a couple of months ago and chicken was good. This time they severed old food? Chicken tasted odd, like it was old, same with the coleslaw and fries. Husband got stomach issues the next day.

This guy got it right. It’s evident that he studied how to season, bread, and fry the chicken. The spicy chicken is similar to Popeye’s both in seasoning and breading texture but the quality of the chicken is much better. The breading on the strips is textured like Zaxby’s but flavored closer to Cane’s. The chicken is the main character in both options rather than a small piece of chicken dominated by tons of breading. The coleslaw is minced, not shredded, and is very balanced in flavor. I typically don’t like coleslaw, because I mostly find it with thicker cuts of cabbage and too much mayonnaise, but I really enjoyed this one. The fries are salted, not Cajun seasoned. They’re cooked to order and are not undercooked like the local KFC. The oil everything is fried in seems to be fresh, which is clearly evident in the bright color of the fries. This place is incredible. If you’re on the fence, just do it!

The Best Fried Chicken you will ever eat in your life!😋 We use to come here year’s ago when my husband was AD and we’d make our way to Ramstein from Grafenwöhr. We now live in the area and decided to try it again. It’s still good and is now one of our regular spots. Only complaint is all of the tables were dirty and floors definitely needed to be swept! It was during rush hour so that’s probably why. Other than that definitely give it a try.

We've gotten the Kentucky Box (3-pcs, 2 sides) with coleslaw (krautsalat) and corn on the cob as the standard sides and an additional side of onion rings to split several times - excellent quality (love the onion rings!). The only thing missing is American style biscuits. I prefer Nick's to the US brands nearby. I've only taken-away so can't comment on the in-restaurant experience.

With all the Italian places in town, it takes a lot to stand out from the pack, and this restaurant from a price to food perspective is right in the middle of the pack. My pizza was decent for the price, but didn't stand out from some of the other places I have eaten at. If you have time to kill, then this is a nice place to eat outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Service is relaxed, so definitely give yourself extra time if you eat here. It's not a bad restaurant, but it's not memorable.

English speakers: the English menu offers different prices than the German menu. We were given an English menu (which we did not ask for as we can read German just fine). They use different words for the sizes of pizza between the two menus and so the prices do not correspond. We brought this to the owner's attention who kept showing us the German menu despite the fact we told him we ordered from the English menu. Showed him the words and prices. He didn't care and refused to honor the price of what we ordered. Great pizza, but we won't be coming back because the owner does not seem to care about HIS mistake on the menu. Call me a Karen of whatever you'd like, I just expect to pay for what I order. It is a simple concept in most places, but not here.

Over 20 minutes to get a drink close to an hour to get our dinner Pizza had flavour but was not crispy my sister's very expensive fish had no flavour when we asked for the bill we waited over 20 minute s no bill ! At that point my sister got into it with the owner so that we could pay. I made a regretful choice never and I mean never again will I go there . A horrible experience.

Nice spot downtown. Owner is super friendly. Mainly serves salad and pizza. Not many pasta options. It's only what special they have that day. Food is delicious!
