Virgin Cake & Bakery is one of the best bakeries in Ungaran. Located on the main street, it is very easy to see its giant street sign & you won't miss it especially since it is near a traffic light junction & the traffic is always crowded. The parking lot is enough for several cars and they have a dedicated parking space for motorcycles. Upon entering the building, you will be welcomed by its vast one space area with small bread, basic cake & buns on the left, cashier in the middle and decorated cake (birthday cake & other celebrations) on the right side. They have various types of bread, buns & cakes as well as traditional snacks. You can pre-order in bulk or in small boxes. But they always have plenty in store if you need it urgently. The taste are considerably good, match with its price range for middle to lower class customers. They rarely have sliced or mini cakes.

The all-day breakfast was exceptionally tasty. The Americano was surprisingly decent too. Staffs were all very hospitable (worth the service charge).

The location is right across from Cititrans, making it a perfect place to eat when you're hungry, especially while waiting for your shuttle.

The pastry was simply too dry and too little filling. Also found out that the americano was made of arabica which is not my favourite. For me, the premium pricing isn't yet justified by its quality. one of the best pastries in semarang, i ordered pain au chocolates, beef ham and cheese croissants and ice chocolate for drink, also i grab for take away nutella bicolor croissant and piscok croissant. I love their flaky texture croissant with generous filling inside. The ambiance in the store also hype and comfy for working from cafe or just chilling inside, the staff and servant also helpful and kind too, definitely will come back again and very recommended if you visit semarang 👍

We got three kinds of croissant, the pineapple nastar, the pistachio and smoked beef cheese croissant. They warm up the croissants for few mins before serving it to us. One of the good coffee shop in Semarang City. They have their own blend as well other beans to choose from. Great place to hangout and have a nice coffee. For the classics they use full Arabica beans which our preference.

The cafe has a spacious dine-in area serving a variety of beans from their own roastery. The filter coffees were generally good. The selections currently have more fruity tasting notes. The blend pairs well for the espresso-based drinks. They also have pastries and breads available to go along with your coffees.

Visiting during late lunch time, we're struggling to get parking space, which is mostly available on the street. The coffees we ordered are v60's, tasted average. There are 4 kind of beans available for manual brew, the presentation is good but coffee taste was not ours. Barista and overall service are good. The ambience is modern mininalist, smoking are available. There are variety coffee beans, tea and chocolate pouch for those who wants to enjoy at home.

Located very near beside to Ayam Pak Supar and could be reached by walk. They used Rancilio espresso machine and also provided few single origin beans for manual brewed. As usual, we tried hot cappuccino and japanese style (cold manual brewed using Kamojang Wanoja beans). Cappuccino was milky and pretty light, suitable for everyone who don't like bold or intense one. Vibes was OK and suitable for working from cafe.

It's a beautiful café. The service is standard like normal café would, although the food took quite some time to come out, but understandable. The pastries taste okay, good but not over the top crazy good, and the portion is really small, unfortunately. It was a good experience but I don't see myself going there another time.

Update AUG 31st: Just had the Beef & Mushroom pie.. First thing came to mind was just 'awful'. A good pie should only focus on the savory filling, but the overall crust as well. Which this particular one is unbearable to eat, tasteless and undercooked, and tp top it off the beef mushroom fillings lack of bold taste. Such a shame.. hope it gets better, felt sorry for other customers ordering it. Quality of the good is pretty good, same can be said to its taste. The restaurant is spacious and they have a smoking area. We had Nasi Daging Kemangi which exactly the same as Thai’s Pad Ka Praw. The minced beed is well seasoned, good portion. We also had Pasta Carbonara and Grilled Chicken, no complaints for these meals. We also had Nasi Campur Bali, this one, as much as tasty it was, it was mostly spicy. Could only taste the spice and herbs on the first and second bites, and then it was just mostly just spicy. Bakwan Jagung is well seasoned, and crispy. The service was quick, the staffs attend to our needs quickly.

I can't discribe their taste one by one but most of their foods taste great except their pizza. For me the pizza dough feel a bit too thick and starchy. Their pastry is great. Place is well-hidden. The google maps does not help much as it was inside another building. The sign should be lightened up for visibility as it barely visible during nighttime. Found a (literally) hidden gem cafe in Semarang. At first glance, the signage is not seen from the roadway, but turns out the cafe is comfy and artsy. There are not a lot of indoor seatings, but the outdoor is spacious. I tried the mille crepe: the Lotus Biscoff and Belgian Chocolate. The taste is just right, not too sweet, and it is not pricey at all. I think it is the best dessert cafe I found so far in Semarang!

The millicrepes are mostly good looking and really inducing your brain to try some. As for the taste, it's decent but not great, some are way too sweet, for example the dark chocolate/belgian chocolate, we were expecting for a stronger and bold chocolate taste, but nope, its just a sugary sweet millicrepes. The indoor dining room are limited for 3 or 4 tables only. When we came there is 2 empty tables without reservation sign, but when we wanna sit there one of the staff said it's reserved already. The staff suggests us to go to their upper level dining area. The upper dining area is quite hot and dusty, considering this place would be really hot during daytime, so people rarely dining up here. Nevertheless the cleanliness should be keep maintained eventhough people rarely occupy the place. Since this place is located in tourist area like Kota Lama, so the prices are quite expensive bu still acceptable and affordable.

The location is in around Kota Lama. I went here after visited Semarang Art Gallery. It is really near the gallery so you only need to walk. There are two floors, the first floor is indoor but it has limited seats while the second floor is outdoor area. I ordered Tiramisu & French Vanilla Mille Crêpe also Iced Americano & (i forgot the name but it's kind of lemonade and stuffs). Definitely would recommend Bloomery if you guys craving for cake and patisserie! The taste won't disappoint you🍰🥧 Oh and cashless people shouldn't be worried!

Indoor area was the same, as I'm aware they were trying to save cost by not turning on the AC. Later, my friends and I decided to just chill downstairs at the 1st floor. A bit too girly the theme (said my friend), for me it's just okay. But their showcases are a bit of a miss. All over the place and not too organized. We had Gelato and coffee, which are good (least they have a good promo). But we didn't try the main courses there. Hope there would be a next opportunity for me to give it another chance. In the near future perhaps.

The place is huge however during my visit, my friend and I were the only customers there. Maybe it was due to the rain. Ordered Nasi Goreng Iga Bakar, tasted amazing. Would repeat order. Ordered Soto Betawi, out of stock, decided to changed it to Nasi Rawon since I wanted something soupy, the meat is huge but it did not really tasted like Rawon, the soup is kinda bland. The gelato was delicious! That time they have a promo for buying the bigger cup (Rp. 60,000), buy one get one, it is a steal, I guess.
