Lawang Sewu, located in the Tugumuda complex, was once a magnificent art deco building used as the headquarters of the Dutch East Indies Railway Company. Designed by Dutch architects Prof. Jacob F. Klinkhamer and B.J Queendag, it was built in 1903 and officially opened on July 1, 1907.
The Ticket price starts from 10K for Kids, 20K for Adults and 30K for Foreign Tourist. Was previously functioned for Dutch government back to colonial time. I recommend to visit the basement in order to feel the true horror experience of this place. And yeah for the basement there is additional charge.

Lawang sewu just like before i visited. Great colonial building and history to tell. But unfortunetly, this time, when i go to the dungeon, the guide didn't not tell us about the history. More like to tell us about the structure of the building and more. And just to add some advice, if visitor buy the advance ticket like me, please provide the personal tour guide immediately, so we do have to look for the tour guide place on our own
Nadya A — Google review
This place is majestic. When visiting this place I would strongly suggest you to use a guide provided there, it’s not free service (for a family of four you will have to pay at least IDR100,000) but it’s really worth it. The guide will not only tell you the history about this place but they are good photographer as well, they will tell you the best location to take picture and will take a nice picture for you.
Indra P — Google review
Really place to learn some of local history. The flow of the museum needs to be better sih. So people like me, when decided to go there without any guide still can do a proper tour. Maybe a guide letter / sign can help. Sssstt they got a hidden basement tour (some said it haunted!)
Faiz A — Google review
When learning about the Old Semarang, Lawang Sewu is one of the historical place to understand the history of how the Indonesian Train company was initially founded. From getting off the train at Stasiun Semarang Tawan, visiting the Old Town, then learning about the architecture of the initial Train Company HQ at Lawang Sewu and then closing it with the old St. Ambarawa Museum is a must.
Winaya D — Google review
A great place to know a little bit more about the Indonesian history with the Dutch. I love that there's something for everyone: adults, small children and older people. I got to do the immersive one - price a tad more expensive than the other entrance fee but worth it to have someone talk to you about the history behind Lawang Sewu. Prices probably will change so I'd refer you to their website. The immersive experience in Building B has AC so a good break from the heat and humidity. There are souvenir shops, photo booths, caricature making if you want the traditional route of having your photo taken, owls that perform tricks, of course eateries and lots of museum like information inside the buildings. Depending on what type of tourist you are - there's something for everyone. Just a little warning, they won't let you bring drinks inside so better to put them inside your bag and drink it after going in or buy from the vendors inside. For the elderly, they also have wheelchairs. Just leave your ID when borrowing one. Outside the gates, local vendors sell toys and other souvenirs too
Riza A — Google review
It is more attractive now with the immersive experience so its not that boring as it used to. When visit Semarang make sure u try to come at least once

Tugu Muda, also known as The Monument of Youth, is a significant landmark in Semarang, Indonesia. Erected in 1953, it commemorates the valiant struggle of Indonesian youth during the Battle of Semarang in 1945. Situated at a prime location surrounded by important buildings and attractions like Lawang Sewu and Gereja Blenduk, this iconic monument stands as a symbol of the nation's spirit and bravery.
One of Semarang landmarks. It contains reliefs of 5days battle in Semarang. There are spots to take tons of photos with Semarang landmarks such as lawang sewu, and also you can soak up the sun by sitting on the bench here. But go early, since Semarang's heat is another level of hot🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Good place for chillin, or space for work. There are alot of colokan in mostly table. Smoking area is available for customer who want smoke and drink coffee in a same time (keselek dong haha), oh ... air conditioner also available in smoking area, so you will not kepanasen when you ghibah with your friends, and sebats for sure. Peacock has many drinks on menu, yku can pick coffee base or not coffee base, you can refill your drink if you choose lyche tea for 2 times. Just the tea not the lyche yes hahaha ... So many various pie also available in here, if you look look you suddenly ngiler because the whole look of pie is cemokotable.

Tugu Muda is a beautiful and meaningful monument located in the heart of Semarang. It stands as a symbol of the spirit and sacrifice of Indonesian heroes during the fight for independence. The area around the monument is clean and well-maintained, surrounded by gardens and fountains that look lovely, especially at night when the lights are on. It’s also close to other famous landmarks like Lawang Sewu and the old city area, making it a perfect stop for anyone exploring Semarang’s history and culture

tugu muda is one of the landmark of this city. it is a monument about 5 days war against japanese troops. as a local, i don't have any specific reasons to visit this place purposely. but for tourists, this is kind of "a must visit" and take some pics or video about this place. it is a public space like people park, free to visit and quite crowded during evening.

Beautiful cafe and bar inside Mandala Museum Diponegoro! Newly built and good ambience.
Joseph F — Google review
Tugu Muda is a stone monument in Semarang, Java commemorating the struggle for independence by Indonesian youth.[1] It was dedicated by President Sukarno on 20 May 1953 to commemorate the continuous five-day battle between the youth of Semarang and a Japanese battalion led by Major Kido from 14–19 October 1945. Japanese forces drove the Dutch from Indonesia as the "elder brother of Asia"; however, the Japanese were crueler to dissidents than their Dutch counterparts.[2] The stone monument consists of a foundation, body and head. One side of the monument is done in relief, with ornamental ponds and gardens surrounding it.

An amazing monument in Semarang. Really recommended to visit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset in the city of Semarang
Denias S — Google review
The monument is located in the middle of a roundabout that is also a small park with a pond, some benches to sit on while enjoying the surrounding, particularly as a spot to view the beautiful Lawang Sewu. There's a free drinking fountain, a really cool facility, but I didn't check whether it was still working or not.

DP Mall Semarang

Shopping mall
DP Mall Semarang is a very popular shopping destination in this city, known as the first shopping center to introduce a travelator. This facility not only makes it easier for visitors to carry shopping trolleys but also provides accessibility for people with disabilities.
This review is actually long overdue. Since the newly renovated of the new wing, the mall is more spacious. Tenants and F&B are of better selection here compared to Paragon. But of the some caliber as Queen City in my opinion. That and the interior is such a fresh and inviting concept, Kudos to the new management 👍🏻✨ Hands down the Best mall in Semarang next to Queen City in my book 💪🏻
Steven L — Google review
DP Mall might not be the biggest mall in town, but it’s definitely one of the coziest. it’s got that clean, modern vibe, and it’s super easy to navigate—perfect if you want to shop or hang out without getting overwhelmed. you’ll find popular brands, cozy cafés, a nice food court, and even a cinema if you’re up for a movie break. what’s nice is that it’s not too crowded (except maybe on weekends), so you can take your time browsing or just chilling.
Maulanisa A — Google review
DP Mall Semarang is a fantastic shopping destination! The mall is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The variety of tenants is impressive, offering a great mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. One of the standout features is the spacious parking area, which makes it incredibly convenient to visit without the stress of finding a spot. The number of elevators is also a big plus, making it easy to move around, even on busy days. Whether you're coming with family or friends, the mall provides a pleasant experience for everyone, with easy access to different areas and facilities. It's definitely a great place to spend the day, shop, dine, and enjoy leisure activities.
Summerain — Google review
This mall keeps getting better with plenty of new tenants, making it more exciting to explore. On the rooftop, there’s a small garden that’s fun for photos, and the evening dancing water fountain show is great, especially for kids. Parking has expanded with the new building, but personally I don’t really like going up to higher floors, so I usually prefer taking a taxi when visiting. The mall is clean, modern, and centrally located. It’s a nice place to shop, eat, or just hang out with family or friends.
Fanny J — Google review
DP Mall Semarang gets a solid 4 out of 5 stars! The major highlights are its fantastic and diverse food scene (especially the renovated dining areas and high-quality Japanese spots) and its excellent retail mix (Uniqlo, H&M, AEON). However, be warned: the mall is extremely popular, so expect heavy weekend crowds and potential parking struggles due to its central location. The new rooftop garden is a great place to escape the rush!
Mason M — Google review
It's too big and that is a problem. A long line to get your car parked, then gotta wait to get onto the lift to get inside the mall. So many floors, easy to get lost. The signs usually don't get you where you need to go, only if you get close to the place you wanted to find you accidentally bump into a sign showing the way (but that is after you ask your way there a few times). When you wanna leave, again there is a line to get to the lift. Before you get to your floor you stop at each floor. Driving out, and there again a traffic jam before you get out, then there is a jam before the roundabout. And all that traffic going in and out the mall creates a traffic jam for other vehicles even if you're not going to DP Mall. It might be the largest mall in Semarang, but that certainly is its disadvantage as well. There are no such problems in any other mall
Рашид Х — Google review
A small but really good mall in semarang. Although it is not a big mall, but this mall have wide variety of restaurants. You can find from western, korean, japanese to indonesian food. Also on the top floor you can find a big food court with many vendor in it. I think this mall focuses on culinary destination. A must visit mall if you came to semarang.
Raymond D — Google review
Mall as usual, full of visitor, lot of food stall at 2nd floor and great cinema, i love all the dood here. Lot off store for your daily outfits. In the top floor they have a hotel, very nice and fancy hotel. Lot of parking lots, clean toilets, wheel chairs are welcome here.

Terrible. Looks abandoned and dirty. No customer at all. It has been 3 days and every day they tell me that there is no vegetable available for the burger. So burger without salad, tomato and pickles!! What a joke. The manager should really do something about this place. Such a pity

Goodfellas Resto & Bar offers a comfortable and photogenic hangout spot with a stunning view of the southern part of Semarang from a high vantage point. The restaurant features various uniquely themed spaces, including classic vintage, greenery-filled areas with natural views, a bar area, and formal meeting spaces.
Go here on sunset time (4-6pm) is a great choice to chillin' with a glass of wine paired to calamary or spinach ball. Their staffs do very attentive service and really helpful when menu choosing is happening. The interior is just mesmerizing! Ah ya, do not miss a chance to sip their cocktails, one of the best in the city! Their wine list also one of the nicest in town.

Well, i really love this place. The place was super beautiful, cozy and the view was pretty amazing. I was asked which part to seat and i chose the non-smoking one. After that, the waitress offered me the indoor seating with the view which i love, but the problem was, after some time, i found a group of people smoking. I hope they can pay more attention to the customer's request as i can't really accept the smoke. It was so annoying for me. But the food was great, the place is superb and the service is not bad actually. The bathrooms are definately worth 10 out of 10. It was super pretty!

Gonna be my favourite one after visiting it for the first time. Provide Western and Asian food. Typically crowded at night, after 7pm. Good city landscape scenery in the 'box' area. Around 70-100k/person. Just be careful when ordering food, they provide pork and alcohol.
Reananda P — Google review
The place is awesome! It was designed by the famous architect during colonial era, Thomas Karsten. It used previously as a home of the rich businessman, now this place turns into a terrific place to hang out with. It is also friendly for smokers and the non-smokers who sit next to them. This place is also has a good view overlooking the Java Sea.

this is my favorite place in this city for having some wine. there is sababay ludicia available here 😍 and that's why i love this place alot. the food is just perfect, they serve steak very well. try a patty with cheese amd it suits perfectly to sababay ludicia, a local wine from bali. it's my favorite local wine all this time. you can smoke in this beautiful area freely after 10pm or you have to stay in their bar area, modus for smoking and drinking before 10pm. perfect ambience, perfect food, perfect wine

Truth be told, I felt that this mall is in dire need for a revamp. In the golden years it has been one of the best, if not the best mall. But it has been quickly overshadowed by others. Sad to see multiple stores closing up, mainly Burger King, which has been there for years and years. Looking forward to see how management play their game from now on. Reaso I kept coming back here, purely due to Gyu-Kaku and Kintan Buffet. If they pull out too, I certainly have no other reason to come back. Let's hope it won't come to that 👌🏻

The mall is enjoyable and full of many brands. It is cozy (the air conditioner is cool) and the architecture is majestic, awesome, unique, and modern. Adjacent to the city center of Semarang, the location is strategic and easily accessible with public transportation (unfortunately the bus stop of Trans Semarang is a little bit far from the main entrance). It is amazing that the drop off area of online transportations are bring provided here without extra charge of parking fee. The parking lots are located above and below the mall itself. The restroom is clean and well-maintained.

Its strategic location in the heart of the city, right on Jalan Pemuda and connected to the prestigious PO Hotel Semarang, makes it a popular and easily accessible hub for both locals and visitors. Paragon Mall Semarang is an essential destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment in the city. Its comprehensive offerings, modern design, and central location make it a top-tier mall experience. Whether you're looking for the latest fashion, a wide selection of international cuisine, or a comfortable place to hang out and watch a movie, Paragon is guaranteed to deliver.

One of the most popular mall in semarang, you can find lot of brand here. Actually the mall itself isn't big, but the variations and brands inside is great. Also one of my favourite, they have sour sally inside. On crowded hour you'll find yourself queing for parking. Many times come to this mall, and most of the time ended up parking on the rooftop since it is very crowded.
Raymond D — Google review
I enjoyed this mall. It's a perfect size with just enough stores and not so huge you or your family get tired of walking. There's a department store, good court, other restaurants, and a wide variety of stores from luxury to casual. Public restrooms, an ATM, and plenty of parking are a plus. The Crowne Plaza hotel is accessible from inside the mall too!

Waroeng Semawis is a bustling night market located in Gang Warung, Semarang, also known as the Chinatown of the city. It offers a wide array of Indonesian and Chinese-influenced street food and drinks at very affordable prices, ranging from Rp 7.000 to Rp 15.000. After being closed for two years due to the pandemic, this culinary hotspot has reopened with traditional and contemporary snacks available for visitors to enjoy during weekends.
Despite the crowd, this place is quite clean. I found many interesting and delicious street foods here. But the price is not exactly cheap but still acceptable. It's a touristy area, after all.

You can also find street singers singing songs with beautiful voices. In here, a bit hard to find a parking space. Recommended place to visit if you’re in Semarang on weekend. Open from 18.00-22.00. Per person can spend of more than 50K for 1-3 kind of foods. Just don’t forget to bring your umbrella in case suddenly raining at night.

semawis is a regular culinary event, held every friday to sunday, usually starts from 6pm to 10pm. it's a nice place for anyone to see a crowded with a nice ancient chinese atmosphere. ppl here are visiting not only for having dinner but also to walk around and enjoy the crowd. there are quite many interesting activities especially during CNY (chinese new year) event which is always fantastic. but make sure you come earlier during CNY or you'll find out really difficult to park your car. if you're a tourist, it's better you take a cab.

Toko Oen is a historic family-run restaurant in Semarang, open since 1936. It's renowned for its European-Chinese cuisine and delightful sweet treats. The menu offers a unique blend of European, Indonesian, and Chinese dishes such as chicken satay with peanut sauce, fried tofu with fermented shrimp paste, and wienerschnitzel. The restaurant also serves homemade cookies displayed in large jars and freshly made ice cream that keeps patrons coming back for more.
A Step Back in Time for Delicious Dutch Classics Toko Oen is more than just a restaurant; it's a living piece of Semarang's history. It's amazing that a place founded in 1936 is still standing and serving its signature dishes today! The atmosphere is a fantastic throwback to the colonial era, and the food perfectly complements the experience. I was thrilled to find so many authentic Dutch dishes on the menu, like the Poffertjes and Bitterballen. They were absolutely delicious and brought a unique culinary experience to my trip. Of course, you can't leave without trying their classic ice cream, which is a legend in its own right. This is a must-visit for anyone who wants to enjoy great food in a truly nostalgic setting. Highly recommended!

Oldies but goodies Been my xx visits, bcos one of my must visit when i got to Semarang city. But only review this visit (first time after Pandemic) when i heard the place is on sale. I think the recent operator is not from the main family anymore. Something is different. The gelato was not smooth as before But rum raisin still a fave here. I like the old style cookies -they bring nostalgic memory. The place itself needs careful maintenance. Hope Toko Oen can still keep its once glory..

Toko Oen in Semarang is a nostalgic destination that has long been associated with classic ice cream. Many visitors come here to enjoy its old-fashioned flavors, often compared to the legendary Ragusa in Jakarta or Zangrandi in Surabaya. The ice cream has a distinct vintage charm, both in taste and presentation, making it a delightful treat for those who appreciate traditional desserts. Beyond ice cream, Toko Oen offers a wide range of pastries, cakes, and other sweet delights that pair well with their beverages. For those looking for something more filling, the menu also includes a selection of main courses, allowing guests to enjoy a full dining experience in one place. The variety makes it suitable for both casual snacking and proper meals. The ambiance of Toko Oen adds to its appeal, with an old-world atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time. Whether you come for the ice cream or to explore the broader menu, the charm of the place and its heritage makes it a memorable stop in Semarang

"Oen" Shop Semarang 1936. Saying our name will bring a smile to your face, too. Where does that strange name "OEN" come from, and why is a restaurant called "TOKO"? To explain, we need to delve into the history of TOKO "OEN." TOKO "OEN" was founded in 1912 by Mr. and Mrs. Oen Tjoen Hok in Yogyakarta. It was originally a small cookie shop: "Mrs. Oen's TOKO." The small shop, which sold exclusively Dutch cookies and pastries, was very popular with the Dutch and Indonesian communities. Later, it expanded to include a restaurant and ice cream parlor. The restaurant became very well-known because, in addition to the usual local dishes, it also offered a Western menu and authentic Italian ice cream. Around the 1930s, other branches opened, first in Jakarta, then in Malang, and in 1936, in Semarang. TOKO "OEN" became a household name, the name TOKO "OEN" was patented in 1936 by grandpa Oen, hence our strange but unforgettable name TOKO "OEN" here in the Netherlands.

Just have been here for a dinner. As being a Dutch national I couldn’t resist trying the ‘Kroket Toko Oen’! I must admit that it tasted fantastic! The ragout inside was fully loaded with beef, very tasteful. Next to that I ordered ‘Lunpia Tojo Oen’ & Satay Ayam. I finalized my dinner with the Rhum Raisin ice-cream. All tasted very nice and I would definitely come here again!

I always return to this place whenever I am back to Semarang. It is kept in its original style , food and service , reminding the old days . That is the place to cheer before it is gone . Highly recommended Risole & local coffee “kopi Tubruk”. Also I did try out a slide of ice cream. A taste similar to 40 years ago

Old restayrant that served varieties of food from main, desert, and breads. We came here twice just to buy their Poffertjes. It’s that good! Their server also really friendly and quick to response.

This legendary restaurant has been around in Semarang since 1935. This place offers a wide range of Eurasian cuisine that brings back a lot of memories through our eyes and palates. It offers the opportunity for guest to feel the vibe of upper class society in the city during the Dutch colonial era. We ordered several dishes for lunch: Bestik Sapi (beef steak), Bestik Ayam (chicken steak) and Resoles (a derivation from French rissoles and influenced by Dutch cuisine). The steaks were prepared old Dutch style, drenched in thick savory steak sauce. The resoles were filled with ragout fillings and served with yellow lemony sauce and chili. Unfortunately this time we didn't have spare space in our stomach to enjoy its ice cream and cold drinks that should be refreshing in hot Semarang day. Recommended to visit and enjoy the food if you are in Semarang!

When I sat at the table, having ordered and paid for the food, just waiting for it to be brought, my neighbour has not even ordered any drink or food yet. She took her time, then ordered and in 2minutes she got the drink, in 5minutes the food, and I'm still waiting 30minutes later for a rice with crispy chicken. After i started to ask for a refund as I need to go other place, it was getting ready now apparently. I still had to leave though and at least got the refund: 30minutes wasted and hungry. This is how tourists are welcomed at Solaria. For me, never again.

Es Cao - Es Campur Gang Lombok is a long-standing establishment that has been serving refreshing shaved ice since 1947. Their signature dish, es buah, features a generous portion of shaved ice topped with an assortment of fruits, grass jelly, and homemade syrup. The ice is freshly shaved right in front of you, ensuring its quality and freshness. While the prices may be slightly higher than average, the trade-off is well worth it for the delicious and refreshing experience.
I usually order Es Campur and Es Kopyor. They use their own homemade syrup. The taste is actually simple but delicious. The owner is so humble and friendly serving us.

From humble beginning and place, this establishment started its business since 1947. Their shaved ice is fresh and surprisingly refreshing. Their cing cao is home made and you can see the ice is shaved directly in front of you. Price point is slightly higher than your average es buah but traded off with their tasty and fresh ice. Greatly recommended.

Sate & Gule Kambing 29 is a must-visit spot in Semarang, especially for meat lovers. Located near the historic Kota Tua Semarang, this legendary eatery offers goat sate and curry with an old-world charm. The taste is well-balanced between sweet and salty, making it a great choice for those who prefer savory flavors. The meat cuts are perfectly done, and the buntel satay is highly recommended.
A jewel in a small & secluded place in Semarang. The Sate & Gule (lamb soup) is 2 thumbs up
Erman W — Google review
The meat isn't cut into dice and it doesn't seem like it's been burned with charcoal but using Teflon so it tastes a bit weird in my opinion. Gulai also taste so so and meat is hard.
Hari M — Google review
Tried every menu there (not much tho) but since i love goat meat so its one of my fave, altho I prefer the one in front of Gereja Bledug (but sadly full of people there so we move to other sate and gule kambing 29 place, smaller one) and turns out not as soft tender as the other. So guys, the taste depends on different places lol
Alexandra J — Google review
Not very crowded like other Sate 29 branches. So the food is served fast. Overall is nice.
Ogie L — Google review
For starters there are no parking space for cars, so either go here by motorcycle or use an online services. The place is small with no air con so it can gets kinda hot. The location is in the junction so quite hard to miss but just trust the map just in case. The food is good, I rdered satay buntel, 2 of it and really I should have ordered 1 because it was kinda big, so choose wisely. The price is not cheap, I mean with the location and the restaurant itself it was not cheap but also not that pricey, forget the exact price tho sorry
Black W — Google review
(Translated by Google) Regarding the taste...Amazing...it really suits my tongue. But maybe it's not suitable for those who like sweet/soy sauce. Because the taste is relatively balanced between sweet and salty. The satay "gravy" is better when sprinkled on rice. The pattern of the meat cuts and the size are really nice. The ripeness is just right. The buntel satay is also TOP... really delicious... The orange ice is also delicious... Overall when it comes to taste, this is highly recommended. The location is just ordinary...it's not cool. But it's not difficult to find the point... so it's still OK. Cm unfortunately the cooking process is quite long. So for those who come who are already really hungry, you have to be a little more patient. (Original) Soal rasa...MANTABB...cocok banget di lidah sy. Tp mungkin kurang cocok buat yg suka manis / kecap. Krn citarasanya relatif imbang antara manis dan asin nya. "Kuah" sate nya lebih enak klo ditaburkan di nasi. Pola potongan daging dan ukurannya manteb banget. Kematangan nya pas banget. Sate buntel nya jg TOP...ennak banget... Es jeruknya jg mantebb.. Overal kalo soal rasa, ini highly recommended. Lokasinya biasa aja...nggak asik sih. Tapi emang nggak susah dicari titiknya..jd masih OK lah. Cm sayang proses masaknya lumayan lama. Jd buat yg dateng udh dlm kondisi laper banget ya harus sedikit lebih bersabar lg.

Horapa Seafood & Thai Kitchen is a rare gem in Semarang, offering an exclusive Thai culinary experience. The restaurant has captured the hearts of visitors with its new, comfortable, and enjoyable concept. It provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere suitable for casual dining or gatherings with friends and family. The menu features a variety of authentic and delicious Thai dishes, including seafood options like gourami prepared with pineapple sauce.
"I recently dined at Horapa and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was charming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!"
Widya M — Google review
Some of Horapa's foods are delicious but there are also ordinary ones too. Of all the food we ordered, in my opinion the most delicious was the steamed fish (pla neng si euw), the sweet and sour fish was quite normal, the pandan chicken tended to be less flavorful but the aroma was ok. It's best to make a reservation before going there because it's always busy. Oh, the price tends to be expensive.

This is best authentic thai kitchen in town! Taste is so nice & yumm. Especially banana fritters with sesame, sesame give crunchiness texture & fragrants i love it! The Ambience was so nice, luxury & warm. Crew also nice. Unfortunatelly Shrimps in salad with mango is overcooked when u bite it a bit rubbery, and seafood tomyum too. Oh ya, the packaging of lunch box their sold not represent their luxury, HORAPA. May be u need re-design the packaging to be simple & luxury.

4 stars because the food can be even better. It's already good but there's nothing to wow about. Great move to this new space, bright, high ceilings, lots of space for party. Definitely a visit if you are craving for Thai food. Otherwise, you are not gonna miss anything.

Horapa is one of the well-known Thai restaurant in town. Located in the area near Taman Gajah Mungkur, you can easily follow the direction from Google Maps. The building itself is very visible since it has 3 stories & large Horapa logo on the front side (not to mention some street signs leading to the building). Once arriving, you'll be welcomed by a security that will show you the place to park your vehicle. You can park on the ground floor (1st floor) or in front of the building. The parking area for motorcycles is on the ground floor, at the left back side. The entry area is located directly on the front left side of the building. There are stairwell & an elevator. The restaurant is only on the 2nd floor though there is no sign for it on the entry area. You can directly use the stair instead of the elevator. Sign for the restaurant are on the elevator floor buttons with the 3rd floor for ballroom. Once entering the restaurant, you will be welcomed and led to your table. Be advised that some tables are very well lit from the window but it gets quite hot, so choose tables that will be shaded oe away from the window. The ambience is nice & the interior design is chic modern. The menu is actually not 100% Thai food since some food tasted a bit more fusion. Choose the Tom Yam, any soup base dish or fish dish to taste the Thai cuisine flavor. The kitchen team work quite fast but you will wait for a while during rush hour. You can reserve ahead of time and order the food too so you won't wait too long.

I had the chance to visit Dusun Semilir in Bawen, Semarang Regency, and it was a delightful experience overall. The all-access ticket is very affordable compared to the variety of attractions offered, making it excellent value for money. Parking is spacious and convenient, and the place is family-friendly, especially for children. With the all-access pass, you can expect to explore and enjoy most of the attractions in about four hours. Another plus point is that the queues are minimal, so you can maximize your time without spending it standing in line. In that sense, it truly feels worth every penny. The only downside is the heat during midday. It can get quite intense, so I would recommend visiting after 2 PM for a more comfortable experience. Overall, Dusun Semilir is a fun, affordable, and well-organized destination for families looking for a short getaway.

Our visit to Dusun Semilir was truly delightful and memorable, especially for the children who seemed to thoroughly enjoy every ride and play area. With very affordable ticket prices, we were able to enjoy a variety of facilities without worry. The abundant and varied food options were also a big plus, allowing us to sample many delicious dishes. Equally important, the clean and well-maintained restrooms made the visit comfortable and pleasant. Overall, Dusun Semilir is a perfect family destination, offering an enjoyable, delicious, and affordable holiday experience.

The place is good with it's vibe of tropical beach. Even though me and my family were just entering to see the inside and not book any rooms.. but sadly despite having soo many parking space, the parking lot is so full that it took us 20 minutes to park. But the rest is good, my sister and i had fun looking around for some time before our parents said that we have to go back before night falls through the sky, so yeah! It's good and there is a lot of people not gonna lie, so it was quite crowded to say the least... but hey, me and my sister had fun taking photos there! We just placed the photos in our book

Dusun Semilir is a unique and beautiful destination perfect for families and photo lovers. The mix of traditional Javanese architecture with modern, Instagrammable spots makes it a fun and memorable experience. The colorful rainbow slide is a favorite for both kids and adults, and there are plenty of rides and activities like mini zoo, gondola, and food stalls. The place is well-maintained with clean facilities, spacious parking, and friendly staff. It can get quite crowded on weekends, but the atmosphere is cheerful and lively. A great spot for a full day of fun and relaxation!
