Had a Fish “Tuesday Taco” with fresh pico. Totally delicious. Fish was thick and flaky, beautifully enhanced by a crisp, thin beer batter, and the tasty pico. I highly recommend it. Others eating here had the Diner Burger and an Omelet. They also praised their meals to me. I’ll be back!

Great smoke flavor! I especially like their ribs and brisket. Pulled pork is always good and I love that there's pulled pork in the baked beans. Decent portions but I wish there was a platter for two on their menu. The slaw could be better (a little plain), but all the other sides were great.
Chandrew R — Google review
I give this place a 1000/10 for hospitality, Me and my partner both love this place for its amazing smoked meats, although its a bit far from home its well worth the drive. We made a reservation on one of the busiest nights for restaurants. Valentines day. As we arrived and were greeted with a space full of laughter, people Conversing merrily and smiles from all those around, We had an outstanding server who could hear even a whisper of an “excuse me” whilst running around serving other customers. Our food looked and tasted delicious although my plate had a slight issue, the chefs, the server and the manager were more than generous to fix the issue and make up for it even tho they really didnt have to but it just goes to show how much this place cares for their customers, even on their most profitable of nights. Ì If youre travelong through or just looking for a new place to eat with great food and reasonable prices. This is it.
Alex R — Google review
Went here for lunch & we were not disappointed at all. I had the chesse burger with ceasar salad as a side. My buddy had the smoked brisket sandwich. Should of ordered that also. Not to take away from the burger. We also met a family from Manitoba. They also said their meal was out standing . The one guy had a bowl of homemade soup. He said it was great. I definitely recommend this place over other restaurants there. We ride here from Calgary at least 3 times a yr. This will be our go to place from now on.

Another great meal in the Pass. Friendly greetings at the door by the service staff and quickly seated at a spacious booth. Lovely country and western decor. Food and drink were ordered and quickly prepared and delivered to our table. The cornbread was amazing and so were the beet chips. A delicious start to the meal. For mains we had the deep-fried pickle burger which was a monster burger and very tasty. I had the hunter schnitzel with fries and it was huge! Smothered in mushroom gravy. Super hearty meal. Everything was great. Go with an appetite!
Mitch S — Google review
Went in for food as we were going through the pass. Beet chips were a bit underwhelming but the brisket bennys was amazing. My partner got the Mexican tease and if you like fried food, go for it but it was quite heavy on the oil.
Madra D — Google review
I came here for breakfast a few weeks ago, hadn't known they served breakfast. All I can say is WOW I wish I'd come here way earlier for breakfasts! This restaurant is, without a doubt the BEST breakfast place in the crowsnest pass and I've been to so many breakfast places here. If you're looking for good home cooking, or even a breakfast with a twist, this is the place. Service and food was second to none and the food is like being in the big city. Go, you won't be disappointed!!
Cherith H — Google review
The food is fantastic here. Smoked meat is delightful. However, the service was severely lacking. It took 1 hour 15 minutes to receive our food after ordering. The restaurant was not busy when we ordered. We would love to go back because of the delicious food but the poor service has us unsure if we want to return.

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the charming Crowsnest Pass, Tin Dog's Black Rock Pizzeria and Bakery is a delightful culinary gem that truly values quality. Each pizza is crafted from scratch using top-notch ingredients, ensuring a fresh and flavorful experience with every bite. The skilled chefs employ traditional techniques to hand-shape each pie, delivering an authentic New York-style pizza that stands out from the crowd. Families will find it an inviting spot with its reasonable prices and friendly service.
Ordered Pepperoni Pizza, Pickle Pizza, and hot wings. Everything was delicious fresh, and even better leftover this morning. Unfortunately someone had stolen our food somehow, we went to pick up and it had already been picked up and paid for by someone else. So they had to remake the order for us. But everything was super delicious. Worth the extra 20 min wait.
Kayla E — Google review
Always great to find tasty pizza! We had the Santa Fe, Tropic Thunder and Meat lovers and all were excellent, but the Santa Fe with avocado was especially enjoyed by the adults in our group. The inside was very spacious which made it easy to social distance while we picked up.
The C — Google review
I’ve ordered twice from Blackrock pizza in the last couple months, and both times it was LITERALLY the best pizza I’ve ever had (and I lived in NYC!) The crust is perfection, firm enough to hold all the toppings without drooping, but still chewy. Perfect mouth-feel! There was a mix up last night on our appetizer order, and when I called to let them know, they went above and beyond to fix it up. Fabulous pizza and really conscientious customer service. Will recommend to all my guests in the CNP!
Ashley T — Google review
It's a great place for the whole family. Prices are really reasonable especially in a small town environment. We had the vegetarian pizza and Greek salad. Everything was fresh. Salad dressing was unique and excellent. Our sever was friendly and helpful. It's our go to for dinner when we are in the Crownest area.
J H — Google review
This was my first time trying this place. We ordered a pizza, Caesar salad, and wings (with dip). The customer service mediocre at best. We got take out and we were given a 30 minute time for our order to be done. We returned in 30 minutes and the cook forgot to make our wings. We waited another 15 minutes. We get our order and the pizza is ice cold and we received the wrong dip. I understand the pizzeria is short-staffed so I truly hope this was a one time situation and service will improve in the near future.
Trish G — Google review
Not just good small-town pizza. Their pizza can slug it out with any of the big city, niche pizza parlours. My wife had the cashew chicken rice bowl and was equally impressed.
Andy — Google review
We’ve gotten delivery from this place twice now when we’ve stayed at the Kanata. The pizzas have been delicious both times. Highly recommend the Tropic Thunder. I’m sure we will be ordering from there again next time we’re in town

Got the Holy Balls and Dill Pickle pizzas. The flavours were amazing, all the ingredients complemented each other really well! Online ordering was easy, and the time estimate was right on.

Cafe
Nestled in Crowsnest Pass, Stone's Throw Cafe is a charming family-owned spot offering a variety of delectable options. From gluten-free items to breakfast buffets, this cozy cafe has something for everyone. Guests can savor sticky cinnamon buns, fresh scones, and pita melts before embarking on mountain biking adventures. Embracing a green policy, the cafe encourages patrons to bring their own mugs for to-go coffee.
We were in desperate need of a caffeine fix, so we decided to take a quick break and hunt down a good coffee spot. While chatting with someone at the ACE store, they enthusiastically recommended a nearby café that they swore by. We didn’t hesitate—both of us were running on fumes and craving something strong, hot, and comforting. When we arrived, the vibe was cozy and welcoming. Two younger staff members greeted us with warm smiles and immediately apologized for being short-staffed that morning. Despite that, they were impressively efficient and attentive. They took the time to double-check our orders, especially mine, since I’m lactose intolerant. It was clear they genuinely cared about getting everything just right, which made the experience feel personal and thoughtful. The drinks? Absolutely spot-on. Rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to shake off the grogginess and get back into gear. We left feeling recharged, grateful, and already planning to come back.
Steven S — Google review
This is the second time I've been here. The last time was a year ago. Last year, the coffee wasn't very good. No flavor and way too much sugar. This year, we wanted to try the food. It was overpriced, the potatoes were undercooked, the waffles on the egg benny were too thick and doughy, and the eggs tasted bland, I could have made this better at home. If you want to go sit somewhere with cute different chairs and friendly staff and waste your money on mediocre food, this is your place.
Misty S — Google review
Amazing local café, great food, variety of hot and prepared food, treats, drinks. Love the eclectic décor and has a beautiful view of the mountains. And was affordable. The most adorable salt and pepper shakers.
Geordie N — Google review
This is your typical small town cafe atmosphere with breakfast/lunch/snack and coffee/tea place. Stones throw is cozy and filled with friendly employees. There are lots of spaces to sit (when they open for dine in again). Everything has an artsy feel and they sell/showcase local artist works. Their grilled cheese...made fresh and stringy, was a delicious comfort food to get. If they can get the basics of a grilled cheese down, im sure their other offerings would be reflected the same way. Meals are $6-8 and drinks are $2-5 (reasonable pricing).
CY S — Google review
Glad it is re opening after a period when it was for sale. Intimate, friendly and great food/drinks, local made gifts and gf options. Vegan too, I think.
Susan D — Google review
This is a place I would definitely go to again! I had a monterey jack grilled cheese with turkey & was surprised with how good it was! Simple yet delicious, it's one I would go back for. Being gluten free it can be a struggle to eat out & find good food, but they made it easy with options for meals & sweet treats! I left with a haystack cookie & a smile!
Jessie F — Google review
Delicious, homemade and honest food. I love the atmosphere of the place and it’s way of thinking about environment and the friendliness of the staff and it’s customers. Crowsnest Pass is almost on the other side of the world for me but I will back and just have to recommend Stone’s Throw Cafe to everybody.

Charming, cozy café with freshly home made soup, sandwiches, and baked treats. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced menu. Recommend to stop in en route. A range of fly fishing gear for purchase.
Kate M — Google review
What a wonderful crew. We did the fly fishing 5 hr tour. Started with awesome coffee and snacks. Al and Alex were terrific hosts and taught us so much about the sport. Equipment was excellent and the fishing spot was serene. Fully recommend!
Stu H — Google review
The staff was wonderful, the service top notch, and the food was very tasty. When it was discovered that they had run out of the soup we had ordered, they were very apologetic and gave us other choices that they supplied at the same price as the soup...they even threw in dessert for free. We tried to pay extra, but they would not allow it. Their coffee is very tasty too. We returned later for coffee as we were leaving the area and the clerk bypassed the tip screen on the debit machine and wouldn't let me tip once again. Also, deer like to eat apples from the tree out front - qeven they know this place is awesome.
Brodgerick R — Google review
Stopped in at The Café and Fly Shop in Coleman and had an awesome experience. Alex made me a tasty wrap completely from scratch—so good. He’s also really knowledgeable about fishing, set me up with some spots to check out, and talked tackle with me. The coffee they serve is from Oso Negro in Nelson, and it was excellent. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the fishing advice.
Bradley H — Google review
Just wanted to give Alex a shout out for the great service and expertise I received yesterday. Have driven past this absolute gem of a shop for year's now and never had the time to stop. I was greeted instantly by I believe Alex and whom ever was working the kitchen. Asked if he had any Blue winged Olive's and he directed me too them. I mentioned how I felt the Crow was a little slower than recent years and that the hopper's hadn't been working still that great. He steered me to some other stimulator patterns that had been working well and assured me the hopper season will be great when it hits. Thank you Alex I caught some beautiful fish on your fly's and unfortunately lost a massive Brown as the 5x just didn't hold up to the fight.

What a cool little place to stop and have a soup n' sandwich. Food is tasty, costumer service is awesome and the coffee is good! I highly recommend. ❤️

The Pass Beer Co. is a popular spot in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, offering small-batch craft beers and wood-fired pizzas. Whether you're a local, weekend visitor, or just passing through the area, this establishment provides a chance to savor Alberta craft beer before heading into British Columbia. The venue features a large outdoor patio and beer garden with views of the Rockies as well as a bright taproom and kitchen.
Late-night legend status unlocked. Rolled into The Pass at 8:40 PM — 20 minutes before close — starving and bracing myself for the usual “kitchen’s closed” speech I often get in small towns as a traveling night photographer. But nope. These angels in aprons not only fed me, they treated me like I had all the time in the world. Got to catch the tail end of the Oilers game, and when I started worrying about my pup in the car, I asked if I could move from the bar to the outdoor picnic area. Not only was it a yes — they brought me my drink out there and even gave my dog some water like the good boy he is. Who does that?! (Apparently, The Pass does.) Also… let’s talk about the Quarantine Pizza. Truffle oil + balsamic = dreamy late-night carb magic. Kind people. Warm food. A patio that lets you hang with your pup. 10/10 unexpected gem in the Crowsnest Pass. Highly recommend this place — especially if you’re a road-weary traveler in search of kindness, comfort, and pizza that slaps.
Sofia K — Google review
My first time in this pub/brewery and I was impressed to say the least. My friend and I decided to stop in for one but didn't really have time to order food although the menu looked great. After quizzing the server about the beer menu, I ordered the Mexican Lager and my friend had a citrus ale. Enjoyed the atmosphere here and plan to return to try the food and other craft beer items. We inquired about off-sales and a different server recommended getting a variety 4-pack that we allowed to handpick. Of course, we did just that...
Dennis F — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of my favorite stops in Crowsnest! The pizza? Chef’s kiss. 🍕✨ We had an amazing time on the patio with great food, great company, and even better vibes. Loved the sense of humor throughout the place… the bathroom signs alone deserve their own five stars 😂👏 Highly recommend The Pass Beer Company if you’re anywhere nearby, especially in the summer. Patio season + fresh pizza + award-winning atmosphere = perfection. Bonus points for the adorable dog sign when you walk in 🐾💛 The Pass-a-Rita is so frickin’ refreshing… bet you can’t just order one 🍹 The cheesy breadsticks? Soft, garlicky, melty perfection… I’m still dreaming about them 🧄🧀 And the Spicy Veggie pizza? Absolute fire in the best way 🔥🌱 You can really feel the love this family puts into everything they do. 10/10 recommend.
Mandy B — Google review
We stopped in at The Pass Beer Co. and were immediately greeted by friendly staff and quick, attentive service. Everyone in our group ordered pizza, and every single one was delicious—we all really enjoyed them. Because it was summertime, the big doors were open to let in the warm breeze, which created a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, it also meant there were quite a few flies buzzing around the whole time. Some even landed on our food and drinks, which was a bit unpleasant. Overall, the tasty pizzas and great service made for a solid visit, but we’d love to see a solution to the fly issue so the experience matches the quality of the food and hospitality.
Kenneth G — Google review
Been going here for a long time, always spectacular brews. Even the days of filling a growler at the window lol! Wood fired pizzas… amazing! Great atmosphere, great patio. All around amazing. Can get busy, so be aware.
Ian S — Google review
Madison at The Pass Beer Co. was amazing! She was super friendly, welcoming, and really knew her stuff when it came to the beers. She took the time to explain the different options and made some great recommendations that were spot on. The atmosphere was already great, but her energy made it even better. Definitely the kind of person who makes you want to come back again.
Aaron B — Google review
This review is long overdue. I have made sure to stop in to The Pass Any time I’m down that way biking hiking, etc. I had another five star experience today. The food is top-notch, especially the sourdough crust pizzas! They also offer some of the best craft beer going. It’s one of my favourite places anywhere. The entire staff is amazing. They are extremely attentive, friendly, and engaging. Service is fast and you’re always checked on. I was shocked to see the recent one star review. That person must’ve been having a really bad day and decided to take it out on this fine establishment. I highly recommend The Pass If you’re into great food, creative craft beer and the nicest friendliest staff around.

We were visiting from Wales UK for the Divide 200 race, and wow what a little gem. It had already been reccommended to us as a must visit place and it didn't dissapoint. We love our craft ale and the coices and quality were fantastic, I'm a vegetarian and the staff were really helpful. We also came with the kids and they were well looked after and had a lot of fun with the outside activities.

Course that punches well above its weight. Having played various mountain courses throughout the years this one has a special place in my heart. Course was in perfect shape the day we played, staff was friendly, and the views were spectacular. Comparitively cheap when referencing other courses in this tier. A must play if your in the area!

We came early in order to be able to practice and hit balls but the driving range is a ways away and there was no carts available till just before our t times . Course was in great shape though. 1st day was a bit wet but yesterday was a beautiful day with nice scenery.

Finally had the time to try the Friday night prime rib buffet. First, the restaurant was packed, plus there was a large private event on the deck. We were grateful we'd thought ahead to make a reservation so we were seated immediately. Despite the large crowd, the buffet was full of food, and everything was hot and fresh. The food was excellent, the prime rib perfectly cooked. Service was very good and we'd go again. The only critique (and is a very tiny one) would be to have some nut free dessert selections, and better serving tools for the cheesecake, etc. All in all, a wonderful night out, and reasonably priced for the excellent quality.

We’ve held numerous snowmobile club events at the Crowsnest Pass Golf Club, and every time has been fantastic. The clubhouse is a great venue, and Scott goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Couldn’t ask for a better spot to host an event—highly recommend the Crowsnest Pass Golf Club!

Super friendly and efficent staff, and a bright clean atmosphere for dinner. Visited with a friend for the Friday night Prime Rib buffet for a 7:30 pm reservation. It was too dark to enjoy the amazing view, but it did cast a lovely outline of the mountains with the last rays of light. Dinner was delicious - all of the sides were tasty. My only disappointment is that the desserts got removed before I had a chance to partake- that's on me though. I suggest grabbing your dessert of choice with your meal to ensure you get to enjoy it. Good value for the delicious meal. I recommend visiting!

Stopped here at the recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad we did! Had nachos and the most amazing Ceasar I've had in a long time. The decor and atmosphere are 10/10 and the servers did an incredible job. You definitely should stop in sometime!

Small pub eatery. Great atmosphere, but unfortunately (for us) we were placed at table that is by patio exit (tremendously busy in/out traffic with door banging each time at left shoulder. Other than that, would definitely go back!! Elk burger was great, lime/coconut shrimp were huge!
Bill F — Google review
Had a great meal at The Rum Runner! The food was well-prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted fantastic. I had a hearty bowl of chili and a bacon cheeseburger—everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was also top-notch; the staff were friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. Inside, the restaurant gives off a cozy, rustic cabin feel that makes you feel right at home in the mountains. It’s a perfect atmosphere for relaxing after a long day of exploring the Crowsnest Pass. The only downside was the washroom—it was not very clean, and unfortunately, the faucets were broken. Hopefully, they address that soon because everything else was excellent. Would still recommend it for the food, service, and vibe!
Miguel P — Google review
Honestly not worth it. My salad had dry chicken and not only did not have enough dressing but served it on the side! For $25 do better Rum Runner, it should be mixed together. Our food took over 25 minutes and no one did a quality check for over 15 minutes after receiving our food. Just skip this place it if you can.

I came here to eat for the first time ever, despite being a local to the area. Went on a Saturday late afternoon towards early evening with my family and friend. The place was already packed. Waited maybe 5 to 10 min for a table. We were a table of 6 ( 3 adult- 3 children) and we both compromised for a table for 5 and we both made it work, the waiter and I. The staff and my waitress was very kind and patient with us. Waited maybe 20 min for food. (to be expected). Totally worth the weight. The food was delicious, and they got all our orders right, the atmosphere was nice, very welcoming restaurant area. Waitresses kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. Which it was. I could see myself going there to eat everytime I happen to be in that area. I recommend stopping in if you ever get the chance.

The servers where great. Every couple mins. Good drinks. But seemed the rest of the staff would rather spend time at the bar than doing their job. I ordered the nachos and came out within 5 mins... still cold in the middle. Had to send back. Did not taste great. Asked for it to go. When I packed up my own food I fou d the tray it was served it was absolutely disgusting and baked with old food and rust. I almost puked. Refused the food. Service good.... don't eat there or possibly get sick

Bamboo Bistro is a restaurant located in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada. The area is known for its economic opportunities and rising real estate prices due to the development of Twinning Highway 3 through Crowsnest Pass. This region was also the site of a historical event when Turtle Mountain collapsed in 1903. Bamboo Bistro offers a diverse menu featuring Thai, Indian, and Japanese cuisine.
Had 2 amazing salads with great sauces and super fresh veggies. Perfectly cooked prawns and chicken.

Interesting mix of cuisines at this restaurant. You can choose between pizza, sushi, a variety of Asian dishes and they also make cake. I tried the Sasquatch roll and the Mongolian chicken with rice, both was very tasty. Will for sure come back!

This place is great. The food was good. The veggies in our items were still crisp which made them taste a little fresher and the ginger beef was made with real ginger root and just tastes brighter. The location is awesome. Big windows made for lots of light streaming and and great views of the mountains. The decor is full of lots of silk plants and kitschy stuff. A very relaxed place.

Ordered a salad and pad Thai. The salad was fantastic but the pad Thai was gross. The noodles were mushy and there was next to no flavour in the dish. What flavour it did have, was not a pad Thai flavour. They offer peanut sauce for an additional $2.50 which I didn’t get but in hind sight I guess I should have as it is gross as is.

We showed up just after the power went out and were greeted with friendly staff who said we were welcome to sit and wait a bit to see if the power came back on so we did and a few minutes later were told that we could have anything off the bistro menue because they were firing up the gas stove for us. We all very much enjoyed our food and the service and appreciate the service. One of our little girls (6) was grumpy and recovering from heat exhaustion and at first taste very vocal about her displeasure after the chef made her special sushi (picky eater not at all raised to be rude) so I apologize for that but would like you to know on further inspection she ate half of the order and insisted on tking the rest back with us and on the way after we left she said it was delicious. I had honestly intended to apologize in person but it has been a very long day. Thank you so very much and we shall return.. I gotta try that Amazing smelling pizza. Also love all the treats you have to offer.♥️

Pretty good food. Fun family atmosphere. You can choose to eat at the pizza place (family friendly and games while you wait for your food) or the Bamboo Bistro (more restaurant style). Did not try the Sushi or Sashimi at over $5 for 2 pieces. Has many gluten free options as well.

I'm not a big reviewer but I noticed the other review and felt I needed to post comments. I have been on my own, with my family and as part of a big group. I think the other reviewer must have visited on a really bad day because I have never had anything but delicious food from both Blackrock and Bamboo Bistro. My husband loves their pizza and butter chicken. They are always so helpful to adapt to mine and my daughters allergeries. Lots of gluten free options too.

Me and my hubby used to eat here a lot when they first opened, the food was great and the service was wonderful. now it's like a bunch of little kids work there and do all the cooking, the pizza we ordered fell apart as soon as you tried to lift it. We wont be ordering pizza from there again for a while. The kid clearly has zero experience making pizza. Maybe it was his first day, idk...

Whether you choose to dine in or take out, you can expect home-style cooking reminiscent of mom's kitchen. The restaurant prides itself on cleanliness and wheelchair accessibility while providing friendly service. It has become a staple in the area due to its reasonable prices and generous portion sizes.
Amazing fish and chips, and excellent customer service! The fish and chips were fresh with an very good batter and well seasoned. The portion size is also very generous! Worth the drive from Fernie! (The fish and chips are also not beer battered)

Vito's is a fantastic family restaurant, with friendly service, superb atmosphere, and impeccable food. Upon entering, the staff and owner were talking with us to ensure our experience was as comfortable as possible. They promptly took our order with a smile, and our appetizer (the best onion rings I've ever had) were served a short 13 minutes later. Everyone's meal was brought out at the same time. Each meal was hot and stayed hot throughout the entire experience. Every dish exceeded expectations, they were large, hot, and tasted absolutely incredible. By the end our stomachs were full, and minds were happy. No one rushed us out, even though we stayed past closing. The waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. The only concern we noticed was a slight draft near the windows, however totally manageable. The plus side to the windows, they are in a perfect location for people watching. Would love to dine again, phenomenal experience. I strongly recommend to everyone who gets the chance!

I’ve been working around the Coleman area for the past few weeks and have went to Vito’s multiple times for a meal at the end of the day. The food is always hot and delicious and the service is on par with the food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone passing through Coleman to stop and give Vito’s a try!

We had the pleasure of dining at vito’s family dinner and oh, what a culinary delight it was! We ordered the baked spaghetti and fish and chips, and let me tell you, both dishes were absolutely mouthwatering! The portion size was huge for the price. The ambiance was amazing and the owner who was also the server was very friendly . Truly a hidden gem!

Easy to find, ample parking. Lots to chose from on menu. We went with server recommendations: baked spaghetti (they make their own sauce, very tasty) and steak. See photo and take note this was only 1/2 order pasta size! Both the steak and the baked potato were over cooked but still enjoyable, steak was very tender. Service was great - considering she was solo and had almost every table full. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Ambience was ok - the place was clean and that’s all that mattered to us. Will return to try the pizza next!
Arlene S — Google review
What a little gem!!! We decided to try this restaurant on whim today on our way back to BC, and what an amazing little treasure it was. We don’t see a lot of family owned, small restaurants where we live and it is always a pleasure to find one with such wonderful food and a true homestyle energy in the establishment. We were greeted kindly by the owners when we came in and invited to sit wherever we like. Our food came out quickly and the gentleman serving us, presumably the owner, was such a sweet person! The best French onion soup I’ve had possibly in my whole life - and I am always trying new ones! I had the lasagna supreme and my husband had the beef dip - both were absolutely delicious, and very generous servings. I wish we had room for dessert! We would genuinely drive the 3 hours just to have dinner here and drive back so if you have the opportunity to try it, especially without the drive, do not make the mistake of passing up on this awesome restaurant!

Nestled in the heart of Coleman, Encounters Wine Bar & Small Plate Kitchen is a delightful culinary gem that invites you to indulge in a unique dining experience. Open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, this charming venue offers an inviting atmosphere with friendly service and well-spaced tables perfect for intimate conversations. The highlight here is undoubtedly the food; their tapas-style menu allows guests to sample a variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed.
Coleman's got it going on with this fabulous place. Friendly greetings at the door and a comfortable table spaced nicely for private chats. The wine and beer menu is great but really the food is the standout in this place. Tapas selections so you can try a few items more than you might normally and not feel over fed when you leave. The roast veg with goat cheese was excellent. Same goes for the mushroom stuffed tortellini with the most delicious sauce. The seared scallops were yum! Pot stickers - delish. My favourite was the elk meatballs. So much tasty in one place.

An amazing tapas bar in downtown Coleman. The service is great- you are greeted the moment you walk in. The food is delicious. I tried the Korean BBQ Pork Belly and it did not disappoint. Their Parisien hot chocolate is quite the treat! Bathrooms are clean. The tables are adequately spaced for social distancing and there is hand sanitizer. Reservations are required.

Excellent tapas restaurant with a varied and not too expensive wine and beer list. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a medium size place (around 10 tables of varying sizes). The tapas were savory and quite original. Elk meatballs, mushroom ravioli, Tuscan meatballs and 4 cheese fondue were all excellent. We didn't try any of the full size dishes.

Usually this place and the butter chicken is great but today when I ordered it was terrible. First off, 2 butter chicken dishes + extra lamb and naan for one and the mango lassi cost me over $66, this confused me because the pinned menu on their Instagram shows different prices but it was from 2023 and prices increase over time so I get it, however, extra lamb on the old menu was 1 dollar, I looked at my receipt and the extra lamb cost 6 dollars. 6 dollars for 5 chunks of lamb is ridiculous, especially when I couldn’t find the same “extra lamb” option on the new menu. When I actually sat down to eat, it tasted horrible, it didn’t taste like butter chicken, maybe when I ordered medium spice it also included the flavour because there was none. The pieces of chicken were way too big and dry, so when I had a bite, all I got was flavourless rice and a big chunk of dry chicken. The butter naan is usually really good but today it was just dry. All this is just little problems throughout the meal but before I had a bite of lamb, I noticed there was a green spot on the lamb. I’m immunocompromised so to make sure I wasn’t going to be bed ridden over lunch, I took the chunk and rinsed it off in the sink and lo and behold, a giant green spot along the fat of the lamb. Six extra dollars for lamb that almost looks as bad as the rest of the meal tastes. I’ve included the picture of the lamb as well as the original price of extra lamb. All of these factors combined caused me to just throw it away. Mango Lassi was great though :) Again, usually the food here is really good, and the staff and owners are great people, but today everything from the price to the taste to the state of the food was just a bad experience.

We had a long day and checked into the Travelodge. Decided to give the little restaurant attached a try.... man.... I'm sure glad we did. I had the Sagg with lamb... I'm still drooling. It was probably the best sagg I've ever had! The garlic nann again..amazing light and fluffy. My other half and the Chilli chicken and he also enjoyed it. The staff were lovely and attentive, the restaurant was very clean! Great dinner!

Got the beef kababs and the chicken Alfredo. It is absolutely amazing the beef is perfect and melts in my mouth, the chicken Alfredo is sauced perfectly and the flavors actually blend together instead of one over powering the other, I highly recommend it, also be ready to eat and have left overs if you're ordering for one because they make sure you aren't hungry!

Checked into the Travelodge in Blairmore and went down for dinner at Spice. We do not usually go out for Indian food ( my hubby is not a fan of curry or anything spicy) He had fish and chips and he said it was excellent . I had the chicken korma with their garlic Naan. She asked what level of spice i was good with and we came up with medium. It had a bit of a kick but not overpowering. I'm so glad I ordered it. It was amazing. Also our waitress was awesome. Very outgoing and helpful. And big kudos to her dad who happens to be the cook extraordinaire!!! If we are ever back in that area we will definitely be back to try out another dish. Thanks!!

I'm not usually one to complain, but this was the worst bagel I've had at Tim Hortons. It was stale, burnt, and the cream cheese wasn't spread. 👁️👄👁️ The young lady who gave it to me looked like she wanted to laugh, that should have been my first sign to check my food before leaving... 😿

This is what you get when you order a 4 cheese sausage bagel also glad I didn’t advance order online because they supposedly didn’t have the 2 drinks I was going to order on the app that it let me choose. The iced caps we did receive were super watery we live in the area used to go here often and it was really good service. We haven't been for a while and sadly disappointed of what one of the few fast food businesses in the area has become. (As you will see in my other reviews I support many new Canadians however in a drive through where it depends solemnly on verbal communication a language barrier probably doesn’t benefit a business.)

Picked up a mobile order and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. Ordered about 10 minutes and advance and food was still warm. Nothing exceptional but reasonable clean inside and food was how I order and expected so can’t complain. Could have been a bit more friendly as I said thanks on the way out and didn’t even get a glance but hey.. Gets pretty busy sometimes but that’s not really their fault. If it’s a busy time maybe just skip it and come another time.

A&W Canada is a fast-food establishment that specializes in serving their signature root beer along with burgers, chicken, and fries. Despite initial low expectations, the food provided at this restaurant was unexpectedly fresh and delicious. The staff members are known for their kindness and friendliness towards customers, even going as far as giving out lollipops to young patrons.
A&W is the best quick-service restaurant in Canada! I appreciate that I can customize my order to the way I like it. You can even replace the bun with a lettuce wrap for a healthier, lower carbohydrate meal with no additional charges! I love this particular A&W because the food is always fresh and the staff is so friendly.
Matt S — Google review
We don't stop for A&W very often, but every time we do, including this most recent visit, the service has always been fantastic. They tend to make many of the items fresh upon order versus sitting under a heat lamp, so they may have you park for a couple of minutes to wait, but it's never long and they bring it out to your car with a smile. The food itself is standard A&W fare, obviously not 5-star dining, my rating is based on the service quality and freshness of the food! :)
Deanna H — Google review
This A&W’s rootbeer fountain somehow serves the best tasting rootbeer of any A&W in western Canada. It’s extra cold, extra creamy, and perfectly flavored. Not sure how it’s so much better than the others but it is! I also like how easy it is to spell this restaurant’s name.

We stopped at this A&W from Blackfalds on our way to Trail, BC The restaurant was clean, the food was very good and made quickly. Freshly made but fresh. The main reason for my positive review is to highlight Jocelyn D.'s exceptional service. She took our order and was so incredibly friendly and helpful. What a lovely young lady! My husband changed his mind a couple of times and her smile never wavered. Her customer service is to be commended. It is not often that I leave reviews on a fast food visit but, Jocelyn's excellent service warranted this positive review.

Often times calling fast-food chains proper restaurants can be a little divisive. However this A&W is truly a proper restaurant. The staff have my utmost respect and I seldom return from a meal feeling as refreshed as I do by seeing the sheer joy on the staff members' faces every visit. I commend A&W for creating a wonderful, reliable restaurant that I always feel truly cares about my well being.

I was highly impressed with the quality of the food at 5 Rivers Pizza Co. The dishes were all exceptional, showcasing the dedication of the chefs. I don't usually write reviews, but these guys truly deserve it! The sauce was excellent, and there were plenty of delicious toppings on the pizza. The establishment itself was clean and well-maintained. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. While the crust had a unique twist, it still tasted great.
Great pizza! The butter chicken pizza is excellent and is my go-to. We tried the Rockies bbq pizza and it was very good. Another favourite is the cheesy pizza bread and my husband had a pepperoni calzone that he’ll definitely order again.

Straight 3*why? First of all, I wasn’t expected Pizza like this, it was just like a quiche! Although it was loaded with meat( I ordered meat lovers) the dough is like a pastry! It was thick and dry. Service, average the guy did my pizza, lack of customer service! I was asking some dipping, and keep asking”what”? Instead of saying, pardon me? Or can you repeat it again”? Place: it was so dusty, both the tables and chairs! I have to wait for 30 minutes for pick up. Price: expensive base of what I ordered! 10’inch for for $22. This place is not for me.

Need a bite to eat for supper? They are fairly quick. And I don't get too fancy with pizza. So I got these two bad boys. They were hot and filling. Crust is a medium thickness. I enjoyed the sauce and the all around flavor. Options are limited and you might have choices. But if you find that pizza you like here. Well then you have it made. For me, I maybe enjoy having pizza once in two months. They are worth a try at least once to change it up

Ordered here for the first time and have to say that the crust is extremely off-putting. When I order pizza I want it to be crunchy and unhealthy and this pizza crust tasted like it was complete cardboard. Im not sure if it's a weird kind of flour or some sort of diet dough but it's awful. Ruined the entire pizza that actually had some good tasty toppings and a decent amount of toppings at that. Sorry but when I get a weird texture dough that isn't even crunchy or crispy it ruins my whole experience. Will not return sadly because of this. Wings are pretty decent though!

I told owner I wasn’t gonna write a view but I changed my mind because what he doing is not right! I’ve order 3 pizzas within the last ten days. 2 of them were donair pizza with extra meat. I never got extra meant of any of them and they still charged me! When I confront him, he said food was expensive. So here’s a thought? If you can’t afford extra mean then don’t frigging charge them! Your stealing from people and it’s not right! He was not willing to give me credit or any money back. I ordered a large donair pizza with extra meat and they charge me 40$!!! And this is what I get! Never again will I ever come back! Bunch of crooks!!!

Yummy pizza! Loved the fresh ingredients and the service was personable. Thank you!

I got the lunch special 2 slices of pizza and a pop that was really well priced. Later in the evening when my wife finished her run, I went back and got her a personal size pizza that was bomb! When you bite into it, it's so soft and as you chew there's a hidden crunch in the crust that I haven't experienced from a pizza before. You really have to try it for yourself. We recommended it to many hungry runners finishing up their race.

Best Pizza in town, without a doubt! My husband loves the Meatlovers and we both love the Super Supreme!! Have had their wings and really enjoyed them and have also had the Butter Chicken/Rice dish! All were awesome! Can't wait to try the next item on the menu! Excellent!!!

Staff are very nice and if they made a mistake they will accept it and say sorry do whatever they can to make you feel better. The place is very clean.

We used this subway for a large group order. It was ready on time and they got the order right. We were able to pay and take the box of pre-ordered sandwiches away in a short time. It lives up to the brand expectations.
Lia R — Google review
Worst Subway I’ve been to. Hardly any veggies or sauce in the subs — feels like they’re cutting corners to save on food costs. Very disappointing.
Shivam K — Google review
they didn't ask if my sister wanted her wrap toasted/grilled. they messed up my order 3 times..., they put little things that looked like hickory sticks on my sub, and peperonie meat when i asked specificaly for a vegitarian sub. My sister asked for extra bacon and they gave her quite a small peice.
RICKY W — Google review
I hate to give only two stars, but “Eat Fresh” just didn’t happen here so that’s definitely below average. Lettuce was browning, tomatoes were over-ripe, cucumbers were weird looking and partially frozen/soggy. We ordered three subs and they all got heated up one at a time. Not sure if that’s normal, but seems inefficient. The amount of toppings was very chincy. By the time we got to our friends place close by, I opened up the sub which wasn't labeled, and the toppings were so small we couldn’t figure out at first which footlong was the meatball and which was the cold cut combo. Very disappointing and left me feeling hungry after my own 6” oven roasted chicken sub.

Manu was awesome! No veggie patty today but she made me her fave sub and I actually loved it. Super friendly vibe, thanks Manu!
Sushil S — Google review
I've been in here 3 times over the last month. Compared to any other subway, they cheap out on toppings big time. Then they expect a tip. Would recommend going somewhere else.
William K — Google review
The young lady working the counter could not have given any less of a care about my sub or communicating to even a minimal level. May I have a large drink? *laughs* hands a medium No, I mean large. This is our large. ...no its not. Yes it is. How about a lid? Your napkins straws and lids are completely empty. Hands over coffee lid. No, english wasnt a barrier. From disregarding questions and immediately leaving while I navigated a completely empty napkin, straw and lid shelf this place really soured me. Whoever this girl is needs a lesson in customer service if she is going to choose that path.

I really enjoyed my visit to Charley Biggs' Chicken! The chicken breast here is fantastic, with a great texture that sets it apart from other fast food options. It's not greasy or overly fatty, and the flavor is spot-on. The servings are generous too - I ordered a 3 piece meal and got more than I expected. Contrary to some reviews, I didn't find the chicken dry at all. Additionally, the gravy and fries were amazing!
Freshly prepared crispy chicken and wedges, great place for fried chicken. Will visit again, customer service was also very good.

Checked this spot out for lunch on a road trip. Ordered the chicken wrap combo with wedges and macaroni salad. The chicken wrap had 3 decent sized tenders in it and it was extremely delicious. Wedge fries were just ok…could have used more spicy or zesty seasoning and probably could have cooked a tad longer. Macaroni salad tasted eerily identical to a store bought brand, which I love but wasn’t what I was expecting. Front of house staff were super pleasant. Would try this spot again but would try the fries instead.

Juicy chicken wrap, tangy coleslaw and a corn 🌽 salad, fair price...helpful, friendly server...they are doing it right! Could put a table and chairs outside for dining since seating 💺 🤔 is verrry limited...although it's a short walk to the park next door that has picnic tables

Daughter said fries were great. Pieces of fried chicken were okay and salt and pepper wings were above average. We did have a large issue with communication. Orders a 9 piece of chicken “all dark meat” and confirmed this with the cashier. When we received the order for 8 pieces of white meat and one piece of dark meat. They offered to redo the order but we had already waited over 20 minutes and didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. White meat was dry and chicken was not overly hot considering we were told it was made fresh. Also ordered a 10 piece wing order and received 7 wings. So average at best and poor communication in our opinion. Only positive was the French fries. Updated July 9: 50% of order was not refunded in cash. Some cash was refunded but not 50%. Also a new chicken order was not offered to be ready in 15 minutes (offered 20 minutes). Either way we had to get going to not miss our tour as we had already waiting 20+ minutes for our first order.

Charley Biggs’ Chicken absolutely came through! I ordered 3 tenders and they hit me with 5 — like, who just casually throws in extra tenders?! Legends, that’s who. And it wasn’t just me — both my friends got 2 extra tenders each too. We were out there counting our blessings (and bites). The chicken was crispy, juicy, and totally hit the spot. 10/10 would get surprised with bonus tenders

We were craving some fried chicken. This place had good reviews so we tried it. I'm not mad we did, but there are things I'd change if we came through again. First the very positive: The staff was friendly and helpful. I was also impressed with how clean the resturant and back (that I could see) was. The portions were very generous and worth the money. Second the not so positive: The 15 minute wait time we were told was 40 minutes, so highly recommend ordering ahead. As a person who's hard of hearing, it was difficult to hear and understand the cashier. There is no indoor seating, so it is not really a dine-in type resturant. Finally, the salad and gravy were subpar in seasoning. However, the fries and sandwich were excellent and chicken very crispy. Overall, I'd visit again, but change my expectations for speed and order different food.

We visited Blairmore earlier today for a swim meet and ate lunch at Charley’s Biggs’ Chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was REALLY good, fresh and crispy; not greasy, wow, it was good! The fries and wedges were also yummy! Affordable, clean, massive portions, great deals and friendly staffs! Highly recommend stopping by!

Love the fried chicken and fried mushroom. Everytime we come here the food is always fresh. Customer service is great friendly staff. We have to wait most of the time but a freshly cook crispy and juicy fried chicken and fries are the best. Best fried chicken on crows nest!
