Restaurant
The Palace Restaurant & Saloon, located on Whiskey Row, is a historic establishment dating back to 1877. Despite facing destruction during the 1900 fire, it was rebuilt and continues to operate as the oldest frontier saloon in Arizona. Once frequented by Wild West legends like Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, today it offers steakhouse fare and dinner theater in an atmospheric setting adorned with period costumes.
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant/bar in Prescott. We stop there for a late lunch and the place was relatively busy. We had very good food and great service to boot. We tried their steak, burgers and a couple of appetizers. The shredded beef tacos were really good. Our server was extremely helpful and attentive. But I guess the main draw to this location must be the fact it’s well over 100 years old. The restaurant. Specially the bar area has its old saloon charm and it is very inviting. I highly recommend a visit to this place next time you visit Prescott.

It's like an anchor establishment on whiskey row. The dining room has been beautifully restored, and houses a great deal of interesting memorabilia. There are numerous dining areas including a large outdoor space for live music, presumably. Our food came out quickly and hot! The Gila grilled chicken salad was generously covered with chicken, onion, tomato, croutons and cheese. Bunkhouse beans were loaded with bacon, cheese and pico. Our fish was perfectly cooked, crispy, flavorful, and non fishy, they're accompanied by fries which I wouldn't have minded subbing if any were available. The restrooms are clean and modern. We'll definitely go back when we're in the area.
Jeff B — Google review
It's a restaurant but it is almost a museum as well. I've been before but it's always a fun place to grab a bite. I went for the street tacos (fish and brisket) as I wasn't too hungry, but I did get the Palace Cooler and that was tasty. The fish tacos had a wonderful sauce and the brisket was very tasty (and generous amount of meat). He went for the Beast Campfire style, recommend by the waitress. There was nothing left so it was a hit.
Mazanec M — Google review
We decided to go to the Palace restaurant/saloon because of the history and the stories. We were surprisingly disappointed. We ordered an expresso martini, burger and fries, and blackened shrimp over ceasar salad. The burger was ordered medium(it was well) and as basic as they come. No flavor at all. I received 4 whole shrimp on my salad for $19. Talk about inflation...I thought they left half my shrimp in the kitchen. I am very disappointed in this restaurant. The server was excellent. Food was not worth it. Our bill was $55. W tax, surcharge, and tip $70+. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a drink and a few pictures. Dont waste your money.

The Earp family would not stand for this. This is an injustice—we cry, bring back the corn chowder! I rode in all the way from the valley, desert sun at my back, with nothing but the dream of whiskey and corn chowder to wet my whistle. Oh, the humanity. The pain. The sorrow… But alas, only the whiskey remains to drown my grief. All jokes aside, I love and adore The Palace. If you ever find yourself in Prescott, it’s an absolute must!
Jennifer D — Google review
What fun! I went on a Saturday afternoon during an art show in town. I met one of the saloon characters who gave me a tour of the "old whorehouse"—his words, not mine! The history in this place is incredible. Wyatt Earp reportedly sat at that bar! I had a French dip sandwich and fries—both were tasty—and got talked into sampling a couple bourbons and whiskeys (not my thing, but the bartender was entertaining). The old-school charm, historical artifacts, and ghost stories made it a quirky and memorable experience. Don’t skip the bathroom tour—there’s supposedly a ghost in there. I didn’t see her, but who knows?

We were in Prescott, AZ and found ourselves on Whiskey Row in the town area of Prescott. An old saloon, Palace was once frequented by Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and others. Palace was named one of the 10 best historic bars in America. Walking inside, you pass through saloon doors into the saloon bar area. There is also a dining room beyond the saloon area. There are stairs leading up to an area where the brothel would have been. At the top of the steps was a "lady of the night" to greet you, lol. The food and service was great and the staff was knowledgeable about the history of the saloon. If you ever make it to Prescott, AZ the Palace would be a great stop to make.
Chad Z — Google review
The food was not that great. It was hit or miss depending on what you order. My wife's filet mignon was ordered medium well it was quite pink when it came back and the taste was not what you'd expect. Her Caesar salad and the beans that came with my Caballero Chicken were overly salted. The complimentary bread that came with the meal was hard. On the good side my chicken and wild rice was very tasty and delicious. We heard so much about the Pakace Saloon that we wanted to eat a good meal here. There are better options in town. Best to eat elsewhere and come to the Pakace for drinks and tour the place. Service from hostess and waitresses was excellent.

El Gato Azul is a charming creekside cafe located just a few blocks from Historic Courthouse Square in Prescott. This bistro has gained popularity for its diverse menu featuring Spanish specialties and world cuisine. With a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, the restaurant offers an outdoor patio, live entertainment, and a full bar with an extensive selection of wines and beers.
I wasn’t drinking but appeared to to have a large selection. The food was amazing. I always enjoy a great tapas bar and my mother said it was the best food she’s had in years. I never remember to take photos till im eating so here’s what I got! Edit: second time was just as good!
Clark C — Google review
We came in for the first time; never tried tapas before. Cute little place! Food was different but good. Wasn't a fan of so much spinach on every dish though.
Mary P — Google review
We had such an amazing time at the restaurant! We didn't know Sundays were live jazz nights, so that was a welcomed surprise. My husband & I ordered several dishes off of the tapas menu, and each one was fantastic (polenta with honey, chorizo hash, pozole, and pork belly tacos). The "tequila libre" mocktail was delicious, too. Our waitress was so fun to talk with, and she was very attentive. The place is a great spot for awesome food & entertainment. Since it's not huge, it's strongly recommended that you make a reservation in advance. It can get pretty crowded because it's apparently very popular (and rightfully so!)
Kristin M — Google review
I can't say enough good about this place. The food was so so good... The service was exceptional... And the whole vibe is just Prescott. We went there for our 49th wedding anniversary and we're a little tentative because it is a little, off the main path place... But what a reward for trusting the reviews. It was everything people said and more. The price was MORE THAN FAIR for portion size. Every bite was incredible. Pork belly tacos #1 Cheesy Polenta#2 Blue Tacos #3 Green chili pork wontons #4 Chips and salsa #5 Pulled pork Breshetta #6 And the creme brulee was yummy (But they were all incredible)

El Gato has been a staple here for a while! We have always enjoyed their food, atmosphere, employees. Today was no exception! Warm greeting, quick seating(I will say we went at 1pm for a quick date so don't come at me if tou wait! But worth it) our waitress Sedona was such a gem had rare quality service and was so sweet! The food speaks for itself! Black and Bleu tacos and Goat cheese with fig and pita both were chefs kiss! The desert rose was a delish drink, well balanced and flavorful! Always a great place to enjoy your people and theirs!
Sarah M — Google review
What a cute little restaurant! I recently tried the blackened salmon salad and ordered the dressing on the side. The salmon was perfectly seasoned, though I do wish the portion was a bit bigger – my piece was only about 2 oz. If you're looking for more protein, I’d recommend adding a side or extra protein to your meal. The restaurant was really generous with the corn and pickled onions, which added great flavor and texture to the dish. My friends had the tacos and taquitos, and they were really happy with them. Just a heads-up: the taquitos come with mayo, so if you're not a fan, be sure to ask for it on the side. The service was amazing, and the ambiance was so quaint and welcoming – perfect for families! Overall, a great dining experience, and I’ll definitely be back.
Lisa J — Google review
Tapas are BIG! We ordered 4 plates each, thinking they would be one or two bites, but they were almost the size of a full plate, so we took home many, many leftovers and had a great time tasting everything!
Shellie D — Google review
Had a really really good beef and garlic tapas, it was only $8! Best sangria I've had in awhile too. We were out on the patio and it was just the right vibe. Attentive service the day before Mother's Day when it was rather crowded.

Nestled in the charming historic downtown Prescott, Raven Cafe is a bright and airy spot that offers a little bit of everything. The cafe features wood floors and a relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal gathering place for the community. Their menu is innovative with a focus on organic ingredients sourced locally, offering options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. In addition to their all-organic espresso bar, they also serve craft beers and wines.
Absolutely beautiful place with delicious, organic food and drinks! 😍 I had the breakfast burrito with brisket and it's easily one the best burritos I've ever had! 🤯🤤 The staff are wonderful as well! Local art all over and upstairs has a patio! A must try if you're in town!! Can't wait to come back! 😁
Amber K — Google review
I’ve visited the Raven twice this last month. On both occasions, I ordered their Mushroom Swiss Burger as this is one of my favorite burger combinations. They list the burger as K4 gourmet beef, raised locally, and hormone-free Angus, served on a brioche bun. I had high hopes. My first visit was on a cool evening, so my wife and I ate on the patio upstairs, where there is an amazing mosaic adorning the patio on one side. It’s a great place to have a relaxing meal. They cooked the burger cooked medium-rare, just as I like it. The fries were as one should expect. The meal was a delight! I returned a week later with my brother-in-law and ordered the same burger. This time I tried the coleslaw. Sadly, the burger was quite dry as they had overcooked the burger to well-done. There was no juice left in the patty. The burger came out so fast; I wonder if they precooked the patty and rewarmed it for service, as done in cafeterias. The coleslaw lacked any flavor; so that was a miss. My brother-in-law ordered the beet salad with chicken and said it was very good. When ordering, the process flow is that you place your order at the counter and take a number to your table. I don’t really have an issue with this approach, except that once the food runner delivers the food to the table, no one stops by to see if the food is OK, or you need anything else. If you want anything more to drink, or to order, or if there is an issue, you must chase someone down. At least that was our experience up on the patio upstairs. Since we went to the restaurant after the rush both times, it wasn’t crowded, and the service and food quality shouldn’t have been affected. I won’t write Raven off my list and may give them another try. Hopefully, management will look into their service model and improve service and the back of the house to improve in the consistency of quality, as they've proven they can make a great burger. They just need to do it consistently.

One of our favorite local Spots especially roof top, Hailey, Caroline, and the whole Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast lunch or diner, love The rotating artists always something new to see for art as well.
Nate K — Google review
Such a fun atmosphere! Great portion sizes and so many gluten free and dairy free options. It was so nice to have a cookie that was gluten free be prominently displayed and not like the red headed gluten free step child. Everything was delicious and generous portion sizes. Would highly recommend!

Nice breakfast. Not large menu. Food was good. Nothing spectacular. Most breakfast Basics available and many coffee / latte options

I was so happy that after 7 years the beet salad was still on the menu! W/o the feta it’s vegan! The vegan tacos were amazing and their coffee is phenomenal! So worth the trip back!

This place is amazing! Vegan friendly! Such a great atmosphere; the staff are friendly and charismatic. The rooftop balcony is the perfect location for a delicious meal with a view. Thank you all for a wonderful experience! Thank you Sarah for the Cauli-Fritas! I love this place; I’ll be back!

Doordash app and register system is faulty server admitted as went in person to order instead because of faulty app order appreciate sincerity. That's not main issue. Pros: alway loved this place atmosphere for friends and live music nights. Even though limited space indoors not including rooftop patio is doable never been issue for me. Burgers and fries to die for. Don't even mind no classic soda it's supposed to be organic Cafe no complaints there. The con: recent trip ordered normal order burger fried combo with extra drinks and a GF cookie.... Was to go order at 5pm and was busier than usual this day... Understand busy but not getting half of my order is off putting with what was paid for fries included with burger order was not in box once arrived home unfortunately too late to dispute in person. First time this happened ever for a to go order here. So have to dispute with bank card that service was not delivered (big batch of fries are 1/2 the meal when already included and paid for with burger meal so that does feel like a waste of money and have to go somewhere else to get the carbs in to feel full.) from now on have to super check to go boxes before leaving if return here. Mini complaint: not huge issue but asked for Gf bun(for burger.) but had Gf BREAD(for sandwiches they make.) a minor difference but still a difference at least is GF still but not same bread for burger experience. So yeah two strikes for someone in kitchen not paying attention to order that day or they ran out of other the gf bun couldn't tell ya again wouldn't mind this if had at least the other half of the order the Batch of fries missing. Unfortunately one time I don't ask for receipt now I won't forget only have bank record at least to dispute at least. Picture is only other evidence have of that missing item (one small box just side veggies for burger and the actual burger no room for fries on this box or sign of it if was enough room.)

Bar
Matt's Saloon is a classic dive bar that embodies the essence of Whiskey Row. With its dimly lit, flag-adorned interior and cow skull above the entrance, it offers a hideaway for those seeking an authentic Wild West experience. Established in 1960, this iconic bar and restaurant near The Palace has a rich history and is known for attracting both locals and visitors.
My all-time favorite bar! Beyond the exceptional service and live music every Friday and Saturday night, Matt’s Saloon shines with its ability to bring great people together for a great time. Matt’s stays true to our roots here in Prescott while also welcoming everyone as our town continues to grow. From sponsoring many events including the Prescott Rodeo and NYE Boot Drop, Matt and his team are always dedicated to serving our community. Matt’s is truly the glue of Whiskey Row and an absolute gem in Prescott. You haven’t truly experienced Prescott until you’ve danced the night away at Matt’s!

Atmosphere was good love live country music and vibe would’ve spent more time and money here if it was not a cash only bar and ATM in facility charges $6 . Other that was a fun time if you want t to stay long and chill just make sure you have cash only .
Elizabeth M — Google review
Take a stroll down Whiskey Row in Prescott AZ and stop into Matt’s Saloon. One of the last real honky tonks. Belly up to the bar and enjoy a cold one, it’s dog friendly during the day. I wouldn’t suggest bringing a dog it when it’s hoppin with people and music! Whiskey Row is a must when visiting Prescott.
Jill B — Google review
I was familiar with the band they had on, Chauncey Jones was fantastic as always when he performs. Sadly, the dancing here is atrocious compared to bars in Tucson and Phoenix. Absolutely no floor etiquette from other patrons along with a lack of space to begin. If you want good music and a fun environment its alright, but that's it.
Dylan R — Google review
Second time here, and the place is as great as always. Atmosphere was excellent, beer & liquor choices are top notch. Our bartenders name was Sierra and she was great. I highly recommend this Saloon if you find yourself in the area!

Brewpub
LazyG Brewhouse is a lively and spacious brewpub located in Prescott, Arizona. The owners, Jim and Jean-Marie Bellington, along with their brewer Travis Smith, transformed an old trailer park into a vibrant brewery. With a mix of modern and rustic aesthetics, the atmosphere at LazyG Brewhouse is relaxed and inviting. They offer classic comfort food alongside a wide selection of craft beers, including twenty-four of their own brews on tap as well as options from other breweries.
This place is awesome! The LazyG Burger is hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. Pair it with one of their beers and it’s the ultimate combo. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and I love that it’s dog friendly, which makes hanging out here even better. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Easily one of my favorite spots to eat and grab a drink. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious but we waited quite a while for initial service. But, that blue cheese burger was amazing and cooked perfectly. I'm a small business consultant and typically see pain points at brewhouses and usually, it's the food that's an obvious issue. I was impressed. I loved the prickly pear cider, the chili was decent, a tad salty and the bruschetta was also very good. My boyfriend finished with the brulee cheesecake...nice touch. Cute place, great food 👌

I remember when this place was a hangout for the grunge crowd, crumbling pillars and all! Hadn't been back to Prescott in over 10 years and decided to mosey on in to see what they had done to the place, and all I can say is wow. Love it! Super friendly bar tender, comfortable atmosphere and great drinks. Definitely coming back when I'm back in town again.

Stepping into this place feels like you've stumbled upon the city's best-kept secret. Tucked away below street level, this cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot has incredible character. The low lighting and eclectic decor create a vibe that's both laid-back and lively. The bartenders are true artists, crafting inventive and delicious cocktails that are worth every penny. If you're looking for a pretentious, flashy bar, this isn't it—and that's exactly why it's so perfect. Come for the amazing drinks, stay for the unbeatable atmosphere.

This is THE place in Prescott if you want a speakeasy manned by excellent mixologists. They know their craft!! The range of cocktails ensures something for everyone.

The atmosphere was really cool in this room, ownership did an amazing job. The selection of bourbon/whiskey was great as well, actually what drew us to this place! Unfortunately the bartender Jamie shook the experience for us, he was very rude towards me, and never got our order. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes or so on a Sunday night with 4-6 other people inside. To be clear it wasn’t the wait that drew us away, it was the rude attitude that Jamie had! Great potential outside of that and hopefully if we try it again we have a better experience!

No food served here, only drinks. Our drinks were great. I had the Key Lime Pie Martini. First time, and it was incredible! Loved it! This place is definitely a place I'd be frequenting if I lived in the area. I was visiting from PA and highly recommend! Excellent service and of course, drinks!

We've been coming here for several years and our hometown Speakeasy is easily our favorite! We love sitting at the bar and watching the old school bartending in action, and they're always willing to get creative if we're not sure what to choose. The bourbon selection is top notch and they have a wide variety of great cocktails and other spirits. And whether there's live music or even a bartender class or just hanging out at the bar, The Point never disappoints!

Awesome speakeasy divide, however it is extremely dark when coming in in the afternoon, but at night it’s just perfect. Dustin was my bartender and he served up some wicked cocktails and I just couldn’t get enough. The bar selection was bar selection was pretty awesome, and I definitely enjoyed some fancy bourbon that I can’t find elsewhere.

Murphy's Restaurant is a classy American grill located in a restored 1890 mercantile building, offering upscale steak and seafood dishes. The restaurant is known for its mesquite-grilled meats and exclusive house-brewed beer. It has become a local institution, attracting business professionals during lunchtime and maintaining a lively bar scene until 10 pm.
It was a true pleasure experiencing this restaurant for the first time. From the moment I was seated, the service was impeccable, with Katherine proving to be an exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable server. Her warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm significantly enhanced the dining experience. The lunch selection I made, the prime rib sandwich accompanied by their fries, was outstanding. The prime rib was tender and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Based on this initial experience, I am already looking forward to returning for dinner to sample their Prime Ribs and Ribs, which I anticipate will be just as impressive. This restaurant has certainly made a strong first impression, and I highly recommend it to others seeking a satisfying meal with excellent service.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable, especially being so close to Whiskey Row. My friend got the rigatoni florentine, and loved it, and I got the sirloin. It was cooked correctly and tasted good, but the texture was grainier than I’m used to and slightly under-seasoned. It still tasted good after I added salt, but it just wasn’t the quality I was expecting. My friend and I both got the asparagus as well, which half of the bowl was cooked perfectly but the other part was crunchy so I’m not sure what happened there. Might have just been an off day. I also got the lavender cocktail and it was delicious. Still a good experience and would visit again, I might just might order something different.

I took my wife to Murphy's for our anniversary and I have to say, everything from the food to the service were well above par. The picture here is of our dinner. From the Catfish to the Taco's, everything was fesh, hot and tasty. I especially loved the mashed potatoes as they were creamy and delicious! The Cranberry Whiskey was on a whole different level as well. But what made the night so special aside from the excellent food was our gracious server, Samantha! she was 5 star all the way and really showed her appreciation for a job well done. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. GO, you not be disappointed.

Murphy's has very good Prime Rib. We ordered it along with the Sautéed Shrimp, Wedge salad, and Guinness French Onion soup. They were all good and recommend that you try them. In addition, our server was outstanding!

This is a great restaurant!!! Crab cakes are bursting with crab and the in house sauce is so wonderful!! Calamari is excellent! We had lemon drop martinis and they were perfectly made! Slivers of ice top the glass…. I highly recommend. Take advantage of happy hour 3:00-6:00 (martinis 7:00!) and Hors d’oeuvres reduced price!

Thats really nice restaurant. Also food and dessert are super delicious. The soup are amazing too. We order 2 kinds of soup. Anyway I will back for food again.

We had an outstanding dinner at Murphy’s Restaurant! I ordered the prime rib, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of quickly. From start to finish, the whole experience felt welcoming and well-run. Between the top-quality meal and the excellent service, Murphy’s really delivered a memorable evening. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Matt & Sherrie Prescott, AZ

The restaurant also features high tea on Sunday afternoons, providing a luxurious experience with its opulent decor and stunning views. We really enjoyed our visit and meal at the Peacock Room! I recommend making reservations. The Lemon soufflé pancakes were beyond our expectations!!!! So so good! The eggs benedict were also good. The atmosphere is cool and cozy. The kitchen was at the top of their not just with the flavors and tastes, but also wait time! Well done!

Had dinner tonight with friends at the Peacock Room at the Hassayampa Inn, have not been to the Peacock Room for a long time, but we will be back soon. Everything about the evening was great from that fine dining atmosphere to the excellent service that Kari our waitress provided. We really all loved our food, onion soup, lamb stew with a biscuit on top, pear salad with grilled chicken, mussels, rare seared fresh ahi tuna and prime rib, all were excellent.

We’re staying at the Hassayampa Inn for a few days so naturally we had dinner in-house at the Peacock. FAR exceeded expectations! Five star quality entrees. Outstanding service. Great prices. Highly recommend.

The peackock room is very nice and definitely stop in and listen to music in the evening. Their peackock cocktail is very good. It is sweet if you like sweet drinks. I do. The first night I had a salad. It was ok. Only OK because the chicken was overcooked. And the dressing was so so. The second night I had the pear salad which was very good. I would have given the place a 5 star had the chicken salad just been a little more interesting. The entertainment and atmosphere was very nice. The waitresses were very good. Do make a reservation to be safe.

We were staying in the hotel and decided to try the Peacock room one evening for dinner. I couldn't find an entree that excited me, so I went with two starters - French onion soup that was delicious, and a baked brie with fruit and honey. That was perfect. Service is a little slow, but fine if you have all evening to spare.

The Barley Hound is a charming and rustic restaurant in Prescott, Arizona, known for its inventive menu and regional craft beers. It is part of the Vivili Hospitality Group, which is the largest restaurant group in the area. The group also includes other popular restaurants such as The County Seat, La Planchada, Rosas Pizzeria, and Taco Dons.
First time I've tried this place, even though I've been in the area over 4 years. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very relaxed and unique. Prices are a little on the high side but that's kind of what you expect for this type of restaurant. Not sure if the duck fat french fries are just a gimmick or if it adds anything to them. They are tasty. Maybe I get that flavored ones next time The homemade spicy ketchup with awesome. I didn't even realize that it was homemade when they brought it out. I'm not usually a big ketchup fan but I did enjoy it. The fresh basil in the water in the bottles on the table was a nice touch. It doesn't really add a lot of flavor but you can kind of taste it. But more so it's just pretty I'll be back and try other dishes!
Mike C — Google review
I really enjoyed my experience at The Barley Hound. This small restaurant is tucked away behind the historic courthouse building in downtown Prescott. When my wife and I arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was amazing and memorized our order without any problems. We ordered the Burrata as well as the mushrooms for an appetizer. For our entrees, we ordered the 'Merica Burger and the fish sandwich. Both were really good. We did order a side of duck fries as well - these were pretty good, but honestly, they did not taste too different than normal french fries. Either way, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Prescott, especially if you're looking for something a little different than a normal chain style restaurant.

This was my first stop in Prescott and it was perfect. Super dog-friendly—my sweet server brought out a Frisbee filled with rice and boiled meat just for the pups! 🐶 She was so friendly and gave me all the insider tips on Prescott. I had a duck burger (first time ever!) with a fresh salad and homemade dressing—everything was made from scratch and delicious. Such a great way to start the trip. Highly recommend!
Lisa Q — Google review
We were really excited to give this place a shot. The atmosphere is fantastic, I loved the decor and the vibe. The cocktails were fantastic and really pretty and the menu was right up our alley. We had the shaved Brussels sprouts, the ribs and tenders (although they were out of tenders so extra ribs and fries), the fried shrimp basket, and the bacon wrapped scallops. The ribs were the star, they were absolutely delicious and fall-off-the-bone tender. The fries were great, as were the Brussels sprouts. The scallops, though, were awful. They were overcooked and tough and had an overwhelming fishy taste. Service was good, particularly by the bartender who brought our drinks. He was incredibly personable and friendly. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed but still took good care of us. Overall we really want to come back and try again because a lot of the dishes we saw going by looked amazing!

Came here with a big group of people (14) for dinner and it was great! Atmosphere was awesome. Patio area is so nice. Food was great. I only took a pic of my own dish but everything the group got looked good. A little pricey but I think worth it.
Christina G — Google review
I was skeptical, but excited to try this place. The service was great, the woman was very sweet & attentive. Atmosphere was wonderful and reminded me of restaurants back on the east coast. As for food.. I tried several things. Burrata: *pictured* tasted fresh, the grapes were a nice touch. I felt it was missing a little creativity but I also enjoyed the simplicity of the ingredients and tasting them for what they are. I loved the different fry options in theory but deserved some more push in flavor. My duck burger was good but lacked again, a sort of care. The ingredients weren’t bad, it was burnt on the outside and could tell the grill/flattop was too high. I understand Prescott is a difficult place to push salt/spices as I’m sure there are comments. However, for the prices there should be a bit more strategy in creativity for the dishes to match the rest of the high quality setting and service. For example, pressing the mint so it releases its aroma/taste before placing it in the water for tables, otherwise it’s tasteless and merely for show while it could also be refreshing. I’m curious to try again in the future because I do want this place to succeed. But for the price / lack luster flavor it won’t be for some time.
Ginger F — Google review
This is my second time at this restaurant and each time it doesn't miss. Not only is the patio, absolutely beautiful and relaxing with all of the shaded trees, but the staff is kind and efficient. The cherry on top is the incredible food and drinks. I enjoyed a spicy margarita, buratta and the duck burger. The cocktail was light and refreshing, the buratta was so good with the cooked grapes and the duck burger had a great flavor. The portions are generous so you will definitely have leftovers. This is a wonderful restaurant, make sure to stop by and enjoy it. ✨

For a small town, Prescott certainly is teeming with great bars, cafés and restaurants. This warm & welcoming wine bar is tucked away in the alley behind Whiskey Row. We stopped in for a glass after having taken lunch at Colt on the corner. Our bartender was happy to tell us about the history of the place and make recommendations for other restaurants, bars and things to do. She was playing a 70s classic rock playlist that perfectly fit the mood — I recall hearing “Goin’ Back” by Neil Young — mellow and contented. We were only here for the weekend, but on a future visit, I would definitely be "Goin' Back" to the alley!

What a cute place this was to visit. The live music was nice and the food and wine were very good. The major thing lacking was the customer service. It was very disappointing. I would love to give them another opportunity to redeem themselves and get a 5 star rating as we were happy otherwise.

We found this place by accident. We were walking around some shops and started hearing music and gravitated to it, what a great decision. This place is hidden away but a gem to find. Great service, very attentive staff. Great wine selection and craft beer. The music was good, we probably saw 13 different artist play, and obviously some were locals but enjoyed them all. Looking forward to going again when we return to the area. Great place. Again outstanding staff and great atmosphere. They don't usually serve food but bartender told us we were welcome to bring in food if we wanted. It was very refreshing when music was over we went to thank the artists as we were leaving and they were genuinely interested and engaging in talking to us.

Founding Fathers Collective is a unique destination in Prescott, conveniently located near the courthouse square. It houses seven distinct businesses within a 14,000-square-foot warehouse, including Merchant Coffee and City Tavern. The collective has partnered with Provision Coffee & Roaster to offer responsibly sourced specialty-grade coffee beans. Visitors are provided with wristbands for easy purchases at the self-serve beer tap room and other establishments.
Founding Fathers Collective in Prescott, AZ, is hands-down the place to be! The visionary proprietor, Grant, has created a space that truly lives up to its name—the collective. From the spacious, stylish barbershop to a coffee bar and a massive selection of over 30 beers on tap, this place has it all. The self-pour system here is the most sophisticated I've ever seen, making every drink experience smooth and seamless. For members, there's a speakeasy that's pure magic. The atmosphere is cozy, and the drinks are phenomenal, especially when they prepare a smoked whiskey or bourbon—nothing beats the sight of them burning wood chips right in front of you for that perfect smoky aroma. True to its patriotic theme, the Collective attracts many prior military members among both guests and staff, adding to its unique and welcoming vibe. While the kitchen is still in the works, there’s a pizza truck always on site, and they’re cool with you bringing in outside food too, which is a nice touch. Located just a block away from Whiskey Row, the Founding Fathers Collective has become my go-to spot in Prescott for great conversations, quality drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!

Food trucks can be good. But not always. You serve yourself for food and drinks from a myriad of taps. So the service is as good as you are. The outdoor patio on the creek is sweet, and if you prefer indoors, you can always watch guys get haircuts. A growing spectator sport. The smell of skanky cigars sometimes wafts from the cigar lounge, so find a table far away. Or, you can watch folks try to look cool while working towards cancer? Good coffee bar.

Came here with a buddy of mine for a few beers. Super cool concept and the brewery makes some really good brews. Food was alright but service made up for it. In such a small town like Prescott, it's nice to have a good vibe and good service. Other places we went while in town were lacking for sure.

What an exceptional facility. This place is so amazing. It has very clean bathrooms, a creek bed out back with a putting green, corn hole games, and fire pits. It's full of good food, great drinks and super friendly folks. This place is pet friendly with TVs everywhere, outdoor seating, plenty of parking and seating, and good music. You can come relax, and get a high quality haircut and shave. Really nice place. Very highly recommend! They have a cigar lounge, 65 different beer taps, a coffee shop, good food, game nights, live bands, and sports. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

What a great experience & craft cocktails. We had the smoked and double smoked old fashioned’s. Taylor, the bartender, was a great cocktail craftsman. We met with Grant, the owner, and took a tour of the Members-only Speak Easy, what a great concept and amazingly welcoming environment. Had the Liberty collective cocktail served in an ammo can. Great work team! We didn’t eat here this visit. But I’ve heard amazing things.

Every time I come here I meet someone new! today I met the owner Grant, he helped me out my 49 jeep needed a jump and he was kind enough to offer! Thank you Grant! What can I say about Founding Fathers, it's just COOL! I like to get here early, usually when they open and get a coffee read the news and get ready for my day. Sometimes Roy cuts my hair and I shoot the breeze, but what I really enjoy about this place is the community, this is a place where you can come and kick back have a beer socialize and just relax! The Jersey Lilly Saloon, located upstairs in the historic Palace Building on Whiskey Row in Prescott, is a popular spot known for attracting a more upscale crowd compared to other nearby saloons. Named after Lillie Langtry, a 19th-century socialite and actress, this former brothel offers live entertainment daily (except Mondays), a spacious patio, and a dance floor. While they don't serve food, the bar provides great drinks and friendly service.
Weekend in Prescott. Spending an afternoon on the balcony looking out over the town square, sipping booze is precedent, listening to Little Larry, chatting with a bunch of dear old new friends I’ll probably never see again, all on a picture perfect day — that was worth the drive alone. I knew it was destined to be a good hang as we were climbing the stairs: the entertainment (Larry) was doing Sweet Caroline and joking about forgetting the words, making up words, while the whole bar erupted in “Bomp-bomp-bom!” at the chorus. Larry’s set was most excellent. And did I mention the bar? Those drinks pack a punch. Great bartenders, and everybody — staff & customers alike — friendly and welcoming. Five stars all around.

Very cool upstairs bar overlooking downtown. The patio is the place to be, with ashtrays and a bar top that faces the street—perfect spot for a cold one. Staff is friendly, drinks are ice-cold, and the vibe is just right. There’s a big staircase or a hidden elevator—definitely take the elevator on your way out unless you want to test your balance after a few drinks. Great little watering hole. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a nice visit here sitting out on the balcony overlooking the courthouse square, prices are decent and our bartender was really nice and even provided warm popcorn. Our only uncomfortable moment was when a local couple instisted on talking politics on a Sunday morning even though my wife stated we don't talk politics when were at happy hour and even jokingly said we're following you out so we know you Democrats are leaving town, we stated we don't have a party affiliation, but feel honored that they thought we were nice enough to be Democrats lol, they said they are there every Sunday morning so we'll avoid that day when we visit again.

If you blink you might miss it. Located right next to Palace Restaurant you’ll see their door with their name on it. You’re instantly met with a staircase and a cool wall of stained glass. Once upstairs to the left you’ll walk into the saloon. It is just a bar so do not be surprised they don’t serve food. One of the cool things about Jersey Lilly is the view that takes you outside looking out over whisky row. You are directly above the Palace. Drinks are good and bartender was friendly. I only took a few pics and one turned out pretty crazy. You be the judge if it’s ghost worthy. You are in a pretty historical area.

We tried to eat there over the 4th of July holiday 2025. I understand most restaurants are busy at this time but we never got past sitting down. We waited over 15 min just to get the attention of one of the servers who was overwhelmed by the amount of work he had to do... but still didn't seat us. A number of tables opened up so we grabbed our own menus, waited for it to be cleaned, and sat down... still no server or hostess. We looked over the menu and in the 10 additional minutes of waiting we knew what we wanted... but still no waiter. A group of 6 people then came in AFTER us... was immediately seated... and had a waiter and drinks in minutes! We decided this place was poorly managed and walked out! If you walk in and it looks understaffed, WALK OUT.

Cuppers Coffee House is a cozy and inviting spot located in a Victorian house, offering a wide variety of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It's the perfect place to start your day with a cup of joe or to unwind with some hot chocolate after a long trip. The menu includes delicious breakfast options like pancakes with homemade syrup and brown sugar.
Cute place. Nice counter person. Prices about average. Sells some food and pastries as well as coffees and other beverages. Update: Came in again today when in town as my daughter really really liked her drink from the previous visit; she said she missed that coffee. We got some scones this time and they were very good, I am not usually a big scones fan but really liked them. They were making a quiche for someone as we were leaving and it smelled great.

This is the best little coffee shop I have ever been to! This past weekend I took up there and went both Saturday and Sunday. Breanna is the best. So welcoming and makes a delicious peanut butter mocha. Really great coffee and I think very affordable (cheaper than Starbucks or black rock plus tastes better). If you’re in town and you’re a coffee addict like myself you must stop by.
Kellee W — Google review
Cuppers is a locally owned coffee shop with a cool vibe and fast service. Contrary to what was advertised in their description, they are not housed in an old Victorian house. I think that might have been an old location. They are now located within a modern strip of buildings a few blocks from Prescott’s Historic Town Square. I enjoyed my coffee at Cuppers, however, the breakfast left much to be desired. The eggs and bacon were dry and seemed as if they had been heated up in the microwave. If you’re just looking for a place to get coffee… I would still recommend stopping by.

Nice little place, comfy atmosphere. Sandwiches are a bit pricey at $10+, but very worth it because they've got plenty of filling, and multiple different toppings. For example, the ham melt sandwich wasn't just ham and cheese, it was at least two or three kinds and cheese and aoli. Very nice. The club sandwich tasted nice and fresh & firm, no soggy bread or tomatoes or bacon, everything was nice and crisp.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Prescott. Whether I need a chill atmosphere to do homework or I want to meet with a friend over coffee, I usually end up at Cuppers. Their skinny pancakes with brown sugar syrup are irresistible. The avocado crepe is also delicious. Coming from someone who made coffee for 2 years in a traditional Italian coffee shop, I can also vouch for their espresso drinks. Their americanos are great and their employees seem to be well trained in making coffee.

Spent some time here while we were waiting for our room at the Vendome (hotel next door). Loved it! Cuppers is a cute, vintage & peaceful little coffee shop. We drank hot chai lattes & played cards. Very enjoyable

Wild Iris Coffee House is a charming, locally-owned café in Prescott that offers an exceptional coffeehouse experience. They are passionate about serving fantastic coffee, loose-leaf tea, lunch fare, desserts, and homemade pastries made from scratch using family recipes. The Cyclist Coffee blend is a local favorite for its rich flavor and energizing kick. The café also serves light fare such as panini sandwiches and matcha drinks.
I’m a first timer here in Prescott, and I highly recommend Wild Iris! The shop is so cute with plenty of inside seating and it even has an outdoor patio. I opted for the Romeo and Juliet drink and it was so yummy! I had to stop by and get everyday we were in town!

Cafes make my heart happy In a perfect world I would travel and enjoy all the little faces on the planet So lucky lucky me I had the chance to try this one out. Serious question do you like biscuits 👀 I grew up on homemade biscuits I can still imagine my grandmother in the kitchen with flour tossed about I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit and after taking just one bite I wished I just had a basket full of biscuits with assorted jams and jellies Omg you guys it was sooooo delicious Now on the quiche I’m not always the biggest fan but this was actually pretty good Of course I still prefer the biscuits The coffee was great Wonderful flavor and they have some solid options to choose from The outside patio is absolutely gorgeous so if you’ve escaped the heat from Phx take a seat outside. You won’t regret it Grab a seat and get cozy I think you’ll like this spot

I ordered a Bundt cake for my sisters first Mother’s Day and wild iris did NOT disappoint! So beautiful, it really made her day special. I got an email right when I ordered it about pick up time, great service.

Very beautiful coffee shop the interior adds a lot of character. It would be the perfect place to study or work if that's what I went for. I ordered the salted caramel iced coffee and it was amazing! 10/10 recommend this coffee shop :D

Location, staff, food, coffee - everything too good. After my camping, I directly drove here for some fresh coffee and breakfast and was not disappointed. It was a busy place but still with great aura. It’s a dog friendly place too so I met a lot of people with dogs. There were other local and out of town folks too but everyone was chilling. There is a small trail behind the restaurant so do try if interested for a quick walk. You can also buy some souvenirs, t-shirts, local honey, candles, etc.

Cute coffee shop with a huge outdoor patio serving a fun assortment of drinks and food My dog loved hanging out on the patio with my husband and I while we drank a cappuccino, Mexican mocha latte and ate a breakfast sandwich and bagel + yogurt. They were very accommodating to our food modification request - and it tasted delicious!

Finally made it to Wild Iris on a Sunday morning after wandering around looking for dang good coffee all weekend… These people have it dialed in highly recommended
Andrew B — Google review
I stopped into this coffee shop during a weekend day trip after seeing it recommended on TikTok. My first impression was great, the barista at the front taking orders was super sweet. Unfortunately, things went downhill at the handoff area. It felt disorganized, the staff there came off as rude, and honestly, a bit condescending. I had a negative experience myself, and when my husband joined me at the handoff area and asked a simple question about a pastry, he was met with just: "I don't know." That was it. The atmosphere is great, but the baristas could definitely be a lot kinder.

We enjoy eating and visiting here. They have amazing tacos. The tequila selection is...ummm it would take several trips here to sample them all, lol. You can find what fits your taste. Indoor and outdoor seating.

This is one of our go to lunch spots when we are in town. The birria and fish taco are my personal favorite but honestly they are all good. They have a bunch of local beers we like to grab while we are there too. The owner is really nice too. Can't wait to go back.
Breanne J — Google review
The atmosphere is amazing love the decor didn’t try any drinks but food was not what I was thinking not much flavor at all . Saw on Tik Tok that it was a must go to if in area but maybe for drinks I could pass on food . Had a shrimp taco fish Taco ,pineapple pork , carne asada not much flavor fish one was probably best . Not a fan of the salsa and guacamole as well not worth the $9 for that .
Elizabeth M — Google review
Been here twice now and both times everything was great! Kana and Lexi are amazing and super helpful with ordering. Best service and food in Prescott!
Jessica B — Google review
I really enjoyed the tacos here, but honestly they’re very small. I ordered three which cost over $15, but I realistically could’ve eaten six. The margarita I had was fantastic, but that was another $15. So $30 for the meal and a drink, that didn’t really fill me up, realistically to spend $45 for a filling meal and a cocktail. That’s a bit too much for some street tacos. The location is key, so you likely pay a little bit more for that. The ordering process takes quite a while. I don’t know if people are just not prepared when they get to the front, but maybe some signage while in the long line, so that those are prepared when they get to the front. Beyond that the drinks came out super fast and the tacos there after. The staff is very friendly, the vibe is kind of different, it’s like a hippie, grunge, college style. It’s obviously working for them, but there are definitely some things to improve upon.
John N — Google review
A hidden gem that has been here- we just found it! We had shrimp and fish tacos and the corn appetizer. Cayla and Emily took great care of us. Margarita was delicious and beer selection was good. $1 Taco Tuesday!
Stephanie S — Google review
Honestly, I’m really glad that I read the reviews before we went there. People were correct that the bartender whose name is EM is not personal or friendly at all. How can you be a Mexican restaurant and not have bottle Mexican beer and they don’t even have good Mexican canned beer, what a shame. The menu were dirty. They could’ve been wiped down, not impressed with the tacos. They were not worth five dollars each and they had the most bland pinto beans that I’ve ever eaten. I JUST CAN’T
Cindy L — Google review
Taco Tuesday at La Planchada is the best deal in town $1.00 Street Tacos. The bartender is very knowledgeable about tequila. There is extensive tequila options. A taco platter is offered M-F until 3:00 PM with beans and chips. Very cool vibe. I highly recommend La Planchada.

Went on weekend get away and this place by far was the most amazing spot out of all places . Best food service and drinks . Will definitely be a go to spot when we come back . Tried a lot of places this weekend and ended up back at this spot 3 times the whole trip . There was not nothing we got here that was bad . Last stop in for dinner place was packed we were willing to wait if need be but service was so fast are food and drinks came out faster then any spot I have ever ate at . Wings amazing Bacon blue burger hits the spot so delicious best sweet potato fries I ever had . Tried all Tequila mixed drinks they had recommended and all 3 delicious. 😋

My family and I came here on a Saturday evening around 6:00 and got a table easily, but it filled up around 7:30/8:00. Our server, Sonya (Sonia?) was the sweetest person ever! She took the time to talk to all of us about the town (we were first time visitors) and was very kind to my 4 year old. All of our drinks came out quickly and the chicken strips & fries were amazing. The live band was really cool to watch and they sounded great! Overall a very nice experience, we will definitely be back on our next visit. Thank you so much Sonya, you were wonderful!

Good burgers! They even have a pup burger when we went with my friend and her dog. The fries are amazing, and fresh salads too :) Good pub atmosphere with an outdoor courtyard seating area and heaters for when the knights get cool.

Any bar of mine knows how to make a proper Old Fashioned—and Whiskey River Bunkhouse delivered! They also mixed up a sour that was downright heart-stopping (in the best way). Great drinks, great atmosphere, and the Palomino Country Band kept the night alive with incredible music. Way to go, Whiskey River Bunkhouse & Palomino Country Band—what a combo!

Really loved this place! Haven’t been back to Prescott in a hot minute and sad that the Brewery I used to go to was gone. This Tavern had amazing tacos, I got the Hatch Pork tacos, not much of the green chile but still tasted amazing. My friend got the pork, beef, and chicken, he thought the pork was spicy so I’m gonna blame me being in New Mexico for the summer, because I thought it wasn’t spicy at all. The service was phenomenal as well, we only got waters but he was on top of it. Highly recommend coming here and grabbing a bite to eat. I want to come back just to try the burgers. Also highly recommend the fried pickles. But kudos to our waiter, I’m horrible with names, but he was super sweet.

Stopped here for quick beverages on a Sunday afternoon and when we walked in it seemed dark but was pleasantly surprised that there was a back patio with live entertainment. Loved the band, the vibe, and the food smelled good. Will order food next time.

The pistachio muffin here was absolutely to die for, and the macaroons weren't bad either. The veggie sandwich was nice and fresh, and the view over the road was nice. Overall, it was a great little lunch spot. Food came out quickly, and the server was friendly. It was nice shopping downstairs at the store after lunch too.

Came here with my husband on Saturday and was initially excited it’s a nice looking spot. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. It felt more like a serve yourself setup, even though we paid full restaurant prices. There was little to no guidance or service, and you're expected to just "know how it works." My mimosa was warm and honestly just bad. I ordered a flatbread, but what I got was closer to a pizza tons of crust and way too much bacon. My husband’s sandwich wasn’t much better. On top of that, we had to walk up to the bar to get our own water in a plastic cup? If you’re okay paying restaurant prices for minimal service , this might be your place. But personally, I think the staff could use more training in customer service and ID’ing customers. It really makes or breaks the experience. I’m pretty young and wasn’t ID’d for my alcohol.
Jannette D — Google review
if you plan on eating here make sure to clear your day because that’s how long you’ll be waiting, we waited 50 min. and make sure to bring your own stove because your bacon will be raw. we waited nearly an hour for burnt pancakes and raw food and on top of that they ask for a tip and can’t even bring you silverware. but that’s not all! we ordered scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and they gave us a omelette with pepper jack?? ? waste of $50, come here if you have money to waste and wanna have your day ruined👍🏽👍🏽

The Margarita Flatbread was delicious. Very soft bread that tastes like it just came out of the oven, versus a normal firm and crunchy pizza crust. The Tangerine tea was a nice complement to the flatbread. The County Seat has a great view of the Courthouse Square here in downtown Prescott. Between the cashiers & waitresses I’ve met here, they are always friendly and helpful with the menu.

Just watch tik tok and you'll see that The County Seat is one of the most popular spots for breakfast or lunch in Prescott. It's hot open space, bright lighting, and good food of the heart of town. It's on the second floor above Spice Traveler. Enjoy some shopping and then head upstairs, or elevator, to enjoy a bite and a cocktail at The County Seat. They've got sandwiches, salads, and breakfast options. Afterwards, head down to the basement for a Mead tasting at Superstition Meadery

Thank you so much Josh & Gracie for a fantastic dinner and experience tonight. My husband and I were on a budget but desperately needed a date night. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu and it was excellent!!! We paid $40 for 4 sharables that were the perfect portion, an espresso martini and this included the tip. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was fresh, delicious and more than we expected. Thank you so much County Seat. We are 35 year Prescott locals, I’m so grateful we have you here. XO

The Bird Cage is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of energy. The drinks were well-crafted and consistently good, and the bartender was impressively fast, efficient, and attentive—even during the busy hours. One of the highlights was the live music on Mondays. It added such a vibrant, soulful touch to the evening and made the whole experience feel like a local secret worth sharing. Whether you're stopping in for a casual drink or looking for a lively night out, this spot delivers. Such a great find—I'll definitely be back

We came in for a drink while in town for some Christmas festivities. We stopped in at 4:55, they were closing at 5 for a employee holiday party but the bartender kindly invited us to stay for a beer since he didn’t think employees would show up right at 5:00. As luck would have it, a number of them did come in and we had some lovely chats while they enjoyed being on the other side of the bar. Stop in for the atmosphere and warm service.

Never been to Prescott. Checked out all the bars on whiskey row. Eventually Showed up here around 9pm on a Saturday. Live music totally exceeded expectations “80s night”. Beers and shots were fairly priced. Environment was awesome. Bartenders are awesome and attentive . We will definitely be back.

Was visiting Prescott and asked where there was a bar with pool table. Was told to come to this place. YUP, 2 pool tables. Order a pitcher of DosXX. Played pool. Ordered another pitcher.. Keg was OUT. No other keg available. Had to drink something else. Met the owner, and he explained the Marine flag and cover displayed. The previous bar owner was from Texas and had a BIG TEXAS flag. When the current owner bought the bar, he promptly removed the Texas flag and put up an Arizona flag. He mailed the Texas flag back to the previous owner. My only comment is $24 for a pitcher of beer does not seem commensurate with the comment of " this is where the locals come and not to Whiskey row which is over priced"... Decor is very decorative 🤪

I drove from Las Vegas to Prescott Arizona to come to whiskey row. By the time I got in it was about 8:00 p.m. This was my first stop for the night. I went to about four places before they closed at 2:00 in the morning. The drinks are hand poured and the bartender was generous with the liquor pour. She was by herself and working pretty hard. Didn't really smile she was just too busy I guess. I put some money in the jukebox of which they have a sign on there saying they can Skip and control volume as they see fit. The volume on the jukebox was a little on the low side although you could hear it. Pretty busy for a Thursday night had a couple of cocktails went on to the next place
