Irish pub
Irish restaurant
The Irish Wolfhound Restaurant & Pub is a spacious sports-themed venue that offers a taste of Ireland with its extensive menu and lively atmosphere. As you step inside, you'll be immersed in the genuine charm of traditional Irish decor, creating an authentic experience. The friendly staff ensures that your visit is enjoyable as they serve up delicious meals like mozzarella sticks, wings, burgers, salads, and more.
I stopped by for a quick drink and a snack. Wound up staying a bit longer than I expected because I was enjoying myself so much. I just got the chicken tenders and a Guinness/cider but it bit the spot. Even the curry sauce for the chicken was amazing. I’ve never had it before, but it was full of flavor without being spicy like I expect from curry. If you’re looking for a quiet joint, this may not be your place, but then, if you’re looking at an Irish Pub, you’re probably not looking for a quiet spot so…

Cozy bar/resturant with good food and friendly staff. Dinner was about $100 for 4 people, including 1 beer and 3 sodas. No appetizers or desserts. Corned beef was excellent. Would pass on the chili.

A solid place for dinner. Service was decent on the patio. Fried shrimp basket was quite large. Heavy Guinness batter, great cocktail sauce. I’d probably skip the Jameson flight next time. Bean and ham soup was delicious. The boxty was alright. Good for a low key, no rush, hearty meal.

Food was great ! I came for the fish and chips and decided to also order the fried shrimp. It’s definitely a must, the environment is great to pool table darts And music entertainment.

Came in from out of State to Suprise to visit family. I searched best burgers in Surprise, this place came up as one of them. Very glad we came. Burger was phenomenal, a bit messy, but who doesn't enjoy a great messy burger. Great service and food. Definitely a spot to stop and try out. Recommend for sure.

Wow, what an unexpected treat! 🎶 We came out to catch the incredible Liquor Biskit and our favorite AZ powerhouse vocalist Sophia — and ended up discovering our new go-to dinner spot! The fish ’n’ chips were perfectly crispy, the Reuben was stacked just right, and those fries… let’s just say they didn’t stand a chance. 🍟 The coleslaw? Good — not epic — but everything else more than made up for it. If you’re in Arizona and love live music with a meal that actually delivers, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back the next time Sophia is on stage!

Irish wolfhound is a hit! I love everything there! Their food, their drinks, their ambience, their Saturday entertainments and their gaming area. Every time a perfect time 👌 ❗️

I went on Thursday ladies night, with lively karaoke. Has a separate area with pool tables and darts, and has an option of some board games too. I didn't have any food, but my family says they have good food too!

Pizza restaurant
Babbo Italian Eatery is a local restaurant and bar chain that offers a contemporary atmosphere along with Italian cuisine and cocktails. The menu features a wide variety of options including gourmet salads, appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, calzones, and customizable pasta dishes. In addition to classic Italian offerings like stuffed manicotti and pasta pomodoro, they also serve American favorites such as scratch-made french fries and quinoa bowls.
Please read the entirety of this comment. Here is my SCORE: 1) Atmosphere: 4.9/5 2) Service: 4.9/5 3) Flavor: 4.5/5 4) Cost: 4.9/5 Total Score: 4.8 (4.8/5) Excellent customer service. I cannot think about anything negative. We ordered a Chicken Garlic Pasta, Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, White Buffalo Chicken, Martini Pasta (roasted chicken, artichokes, and olives). They served us bread with EVOO and balsamic (it was warm and soft). We ordered salads and they were the star of the show (recommend the Caesar Salad). We ordered wine and soft drinks. Also, a baboo cookie ice cream and cannolis. The place was absolutely beautiful inside. Love their modern, industrial design with a bit of brutalist atmosphere. The wallpaper is gorgeous. The lighting is just right. They seem to have space for special events like rehearsal dinners, office celebrations, or just big family parties. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms were cleaned. We believe it is decently priced and the overall experience is worth coming back to. I wish the absolute best to this business!!! Note to management: I would only suggest the kitchen to revise the flavor profile of their Chicken Garlic Pasta. I would recommend adding more salt, peppers or any sort of heat to elevate the plate.

Delicious food, nice decor, quiet and comfortable atmosphere. I came for my birthday dinner to see how it was. I was immediately impressed by the bread they served - a warm, delicious flatbread, served with a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dip. I ordered my favorite Italian meal, a Chicken Alfredo, and was delighted with how incredibly rich & delicious it was. To finish the meal off I had a dessert I’ve never had before called “Zeppoli”, basically fried dough tossed in cinnamon sugar served with ice cream, and topped with honey. (The free dessert was the birthday deal, for those curious.) I will absolutely be returning.

Our first time here. The atmosphere, food, service were all excellent. My drink was made to perfection. The food was hot and flavorful. We were relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience. We will absolutely be back! The restaurant itself was clean and a great environment. Thank you Michela for the BEST service and to Ava made the best drink. Cheers

So this was our second visit, since our first visit was ok, not great - we thought we’d give it another shot. (And it was close!) When we walked in, we waited for about 5 minutes before a host even walked up, which it was NOT busy whatsoever. I’d say 6 tables were occupied in the entire restaurant. It took another 5ish minutes to have a server come over. We placed our order by the time she came, we both ordered a salad, (mine came with it, husband’s was $7). We finally got our bread the same time our salads came. My wedge salad was delicious, full of blue cheese crumbles and real bacon but my husband had the Caesar salad and it was loaded with dressing. He said it was ok but wouldn’t order again. Literally 3 bites in, our food came. (Sigh) can’t we enjoy our salads first? I’m sorry, I’m being picky but I want to enjoy our $7 salads first since we’re paying for them. My husband said his pasta was cooked to a perfectly, the sauce was a little watery but had a nice flavor and the meat was ok (hamburger). Mine wasn’t really what I had pictured…..just a chicken breast with some mushrooms on top with other very overcooked veggies…cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots that weren’t overcooked….felt like they just forgot and sautéed for a minute and threw them on my plate! I had only taken two bites and the waitress came by and asked if we were ready for the check and a box! Ummm, I’m sure I’ll need a box…but can I at least enjoy a couple more bites? I guess we should’ve said yes, since after we were done we had to wait another 11 minutes before we even saw her come back to our side (the table next to us were also waiting for her to come back!) The restaurant is very nice inside and would be nice for a large group that wants some privacy since they have a nice large room in the back. This being the second time visiting, I don’t think we will be back. Definitely not impressed for $85. If you do want an excellent Italian dinner - do yourself a favor and go to Portofino West! Wonderful service, explains anything to you, no pressure, and killer food!

I came here for the first time Thursday, early evening, on July 3rd. The restaurant was mentioned during a conversation about Italian restaurants in the Phoenix area. I arrived just before 5:00 and was greeted. Being by myself I took a seat at the bar. While perusing the menu I asked for a water and Sprite; easy ice. What I received was a water and soda/tonic water; no syrup. I mistakenly said it was flat, but meant to say no syrup. It took some time to get it corrected. I gave my order then; starting with the Pomodoro salad, and the entree Rustico. Focaccia bread was brought with a saucer of olive oil & balsamic vinegar. I added parmigiana cheese, and noshed away while waiting. Focaccia to me is very soft, and doesn’t compare at all with Italian bread. The salad arrived, and as you see in the photos there’s two tomatoes and a slice of mozzarella. The unappealing thing about this is the tomatoes were cold. Fresh tomatoes are best at room temperature. This salad could have used more cheese too. Things improved as the entree arrived. A generous portion of penne pasta cooked al dente with a flavorful sauce, ricotta cheese, baby spinach, and mozzarella. A short break following the entree I asked about the cannolis, and ordered them. There’s three to an order, with three options, and I chose one of each. Between them the limoncello had a lot of flavor compared to the pistachio. Can’t go wrong with chocolate chip. I couldn’t finish it all, and boxed the remaining two after finishing the limoncello. My check after tax totaled $40.96. About the restaurant… it was spacious, not too bright, clean, warm, and inviting. The bar seemed rather large, and a place for accommodating take out orders from another side entrance. The restroom was clean. A bit odd having a large metal trash can. Parking is no issue as there are plenty of spaces. While it’s summer, the patio looks to offer a nice setting for outdoor dining. They have private rooms, and can accommodate all sizes of parties. I may return. Experience this restaurant for yourself. For myself I look for food that’s simple, good, not complex, and not pretentious. Italian cuisine is like that. More stars could have been earned on the bread, salad, and service that was fine; nothing stellar. ‘Buon mangiare.’

We’ve eaten here a few times now and decided to order via DoorDash We ordered the pepperoni pizza with Salami and some garlic bread. The garlic bread was basically toast and the pizza had 3-4 pieces of salami on it with almost no pepperoni! To make matters worse it was cold when we received it and had to microwave the pizza. We have eaten in the restaurant before and it was much different from ordering. The crust was extremely thin and lots of oil as you can see from the photos.

We all thought our meals were delicious. Abbey, our server was spectacular!!! They offer zoodles & a gluten free pene pasta. Everything was amazing. And the best bread I've ever tasted! This is now our favorite place for Italian food. It used to be Maggionos.
Judy M — Google review
We've been coming to Babbos every time we are in town visiting since they have been the most reliable restaurant for finding a gluten free and vegetarian meal for my husband. Unfortunately our last 2 visits have been subpar, especially compared to previous trips. Service has been very inattentive and rushed. The drinks and desserts are tasty. But we ordered a pasta and zoodles for my husband and his portion was a third the size of everyone else's pastas. Normally he is able to eat until he's full or even take some leftovers but this last trip he only needed 4 bites to finish his plate. And there was no opportunity to bring it up to the server since they only stopped by after dropping off our food to ask if we were ready for the check

Restaurant
State 48 Brewery, located in Surprise, is a successful venture by the Rana Family, who also operate other restaurant concepts in the area. The brewery has expanded to five additional locations due to its popularity. At this dog-friendly spot, patrons can enjoy unique dishes like the PB&J Burger and State 48 Burger along with treats for their furry friends. The brewery offers an impressive selection of craft beers including Cherry Sour and Blueberry Ale.
Mother's Day, my queen's back, was kickin hard to move around soooooooo ordered pick up. We've been here a couple maybe three times impressed each time food is delicious, unique and cooked too order. Pictured mushroom truffle burger super char flavor on the burger, everything blended together onion rings on the side nice texture on the batter. I ordered a Fig & Prosciutto pizza. SPECTACULAR is one of the best pizzas I've had. The balsamic reduction was superb, and the ham was crunchy . MORE THAN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. go try it. Not pictured...scratch Chess pie with scratch whip cream dessert for a Queen. P.S. will i see you at the next show?

State 48 is a family friendly restaurant and brewery offering wood fired pizzas, burgers, salads, and more. They have a friendly and welcoming staff and a lively atmosphere. They offer a great variety of quality craft beers. I must say they have one of the best happy hours specials I’ve seen in a long time. Everyday from 2pm-6pm they offer $4 house wines, well drinks, and drafts. In addition to their happy hour they offer a daily special. Kids eat free on Wednesdays! All of their burgers are 1/2 pound black angus beef. I ordered the mushroom truffle burger, and boy was that burger delicious! Great flavors in every bite. My wife went with the fish and chips. The fish had absolutely no flavor at all and needed seasoning. This was disappointing because my wife ate one piece and didn’t want to finish her meal. I would definitely come back to try the other burger options, as they have plenty to choose from.

I’ve been here multiple times now (I’ve only lived in Arizona for 1.5 weeks) and I enjoyed each visit. 1st visit: The lemon caper chicken was absolutely delicious and I’m obsessed with their passion fruit lemon drops! 2nd visit: Mac and cheese burger… phenomenal! I’m not the biggest fan of ketchup but I enjoyed their spicy ketchup! Pepperoni pizza was good as well with their in house mozzarella 🤤 Deep fried Oreos were good, my waitress brought me a side of ice cream as well! Ate it with their fresh berries and it was even better! The only negative experience we had was no lava in the lava cake! And it was SO small! 3rd visit: Their fish tacos were so refreshing when it hit 115 outside! My partner ordered a pulled pork sandwich and that was also delicious. I love their fries!
Kayla G — Google review
I’ve been to countless breweries across the Lower 48, and I can confidently say that State 48 Brewery stands at the top of the list! From the moment you arrive, the vibe is spot on—fire pits outside, a fun atmosphere, and even a prop bus from Into the Wild. Inside, it’s not your typical brewery. The space is modern and elevated with a rustic twist that gives it a unique charm. We ordered a couple of their house brews and Moscow Mules—both were solid—but the food truly blew us away. The fried fish tacos and fish & chips were both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And then came dessert: possibly the best blueberry pie I’ve ever had in my life. No exaggeration. If you’re lucky enough to have Gina as your server, trust her recommendations—she won’t steer you wrong. State 48 Brewery is an absolute must if you’re in the area!

This was my first time dining here, and it was a clean and friendly atmosphere, no doubt. The food was hot and prices weren't too outrageous. The parking lot was scary for any female since it was completely dark. Definitely left me feeling a bit uneasy! Wasn't sure where exactly the front door was since the first door i saw looked like a side door or a take-out exit, but in fact, it was the front door. I am a very picky eater, and well, it was pretty tough picking out something that wouldn't upset my stomach. All items had some different flavors that I wasn't expecting. For example, the tarter sauce. It was green. The fish were beer battered, and when I put them together, it was okay but strange. The fries were the best I have had in years. Onion rings were great. Again, I'm a picky eater, and ever since covid, all food just isn't the same! The menu had some different choices! And if you drink alcohol we'll this is definitely a place that is more centered on the alcohol side of things than anything else. So it's not a bad place but not great either, and that's just my own personal opinion.

We stopped in here for an early dinner, and we were surprised by how good the food was here. We ordered a wood fire pizza that was actually really good. It was better than most pizza places in the valley. The PB and J burger was delicious. It sounds weird, but man, was it a good combination. The brisket sandwich was also delicious with just the right level of seasoning. The fries are amazing, too. They have this unique crispness to them. Our server was really nice, and our food came up pretty quickly. The atmosphere was your classic rustic look, which pairs well with the classic city pup feel. Overall, we were really happy with the quality of the food and would definitely be back again.

Had an impromptu dinner here with 12 people. It took a while for the hostess to notice us but once we got sat it was GREAT. I wish I could remember our server because he was awesome, and Johnny on the spot with our drinks and food. Food was hot and delicious, beers were good and cold!

The pizza Diavolo was very greasy, but did have great flavor and a nice touch of heat. The Rueben was a little dry (not enough sauerkraut) but decent flavor. The best things we ate were the cauliflower wings, so delicious. The buffalo sauce was a little unique which I really enjoyed. The chicken strips were so nicely fried. Great crisp and flavor. Solid restaurant with solid food.

Nestled in Surprise, AZ, Saigon Kitchen is a contemporary Vietnamese café that offers a delightful culinary experience. This vibrant eatery serves an array of classic dishes like vermicelli and banh mi, all infused with local spices for an authentic taste. The Tran siblings elevate traditional recipes with standout options such as shaken beef and sizzling filet mignon served on a steel plank.
I have heard so many good things about Saigon Kitchen. My daughter and I decided that we would have our lunch date here. We were greeted immediately by Kiana, who also turned out to be our server. She was fantastic throughout the entire meal. I noticed she was also the busser. There was a bartender working also. We were given the happy hour menu along with the regular menu. We decided on the shrimp and pork spring rolls, the pork crispy egg roll, the charbroiled pork vermicelli, and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The place had a nice size crowd for lunch. We will be back again to try other items.

Best Pho I have had in Phoenix so far! Great Vietnamese restaurant, very nice interior, sat in the lounge area at the bar, was quiet and very nice. Veg Egg Rolls were delicious, crispy and fresh, dipping sauce was also good. Pork Pot Stickers were also excellent, crispy and flavorful filling. Pho broth was perfection, fatty and rich. Good amount of things sliced beef and meatballs. Highly recommend!

Omg.... we ended up going to this place by accident, but it was so good that we would be back sooner than later, lol... the service is great and fast. To start, they will bring you this amazing soup 😀 and the food was amazing 👏 🤩

The host was welcoming and ended up waiting our table. He offered great feedback and relayed our order flawlessly by memory - the mark of a professional! The food arrived promptly and was delicious. By far the most flavorful pho broth I've ever experienced, and the salt levels and aromatics were testament to the skill of the chefs. There was a small problem with one of the dishes, but the manager came and TOOK CARE OF US. Put your chips on this restaurant to curate a wonderful date night or culinary experience and you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been coming to Saigon Kitchen for years, and their pho has always been my go-to comfort meal… rich, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Recently, I decided to try something new and ordered the mango shrimp rolls… and wow! So fresh, light, and full of flavor, definitely a new favorite. On top of the amazing food, the staff here is truly the nicest. Always welcoming, attentive, and kind. It’s the kind of place that feels like home every time I visit. Highly recommend!

French restaurant
Vogue Bistro is a stylish and modern restaurant that offers a fusion of New American cuisine with French influences. It has become a popular spot for date nights, offering stunning sunset views and a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. The menu features a mix of French classics like foie gras and escargot alongside American favorites such as burgers and meatloaf. In addition to its delicious food, the restaurant also offers cooking classes and serves designer martinis named after fashion houses.
This was our 1st time @ Vogue Bistro. It was our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The experience was wonderful! Kristen was our server and she made everything fantastic! From suggestions on beverages to the free anniversary dessert, she left nothing out. Now onto to food… we started off with 2 watermelon martinis and Vogue Chips with the Gorgonzola crumble and shallot dressing with a side of hot sauce. It was more than enough for 2 and delish! Then we moved on to the Vogue Burger and steak sandwich with sweet potato fries with maple dipping sauce…The food was excellent and I loved the baguette the steak sandwich was on. The French Onion Soup was out of this world! Perfectly seasoned. And finally we had our choice of a free dessert and of course I chose my favorite…the Creme Brûlée 🤤😋 To sum it all up…food was perfect, service impeccable, atmosphere low key, intimate and comfy! Thank you Vogue Bistro for a wonderful 20th Wedding Anniversary celebration❤️

We dined here for lunch for the first time. Nice to find a non-chain restaurant. Nice atmosphere although a bit dark inside. We chose to eat outside, which was a nice space. Our server Kristen was phenomenal. We ordered the Vogue Burger 3.5/5, Salmon BLT 3.5/5, and Truffle Fries 4/5. We are not big fans of pretzel buns. Nice wine by glass choices.

Just here for a couple days visiting family, and decided to drop in for some dinner. Our server was Jason, and he was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was excellent, and we're already planning a second visit before we leave!
Kiley A — Google review
This was a phenomenal experience. The restaurant is small inside, but has a large patio, complete with sun shades, misters, and a fireplace. Seating is comfortable; both tables/chairs and half-booths are available. The service is absolutely outstanding. Our server, Jason, was professional and friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and gave excellent recommendations. We started with the burrata, which was cool and creamy and served with finely diced tomatoes and toast, and the charcuterie board, which included several meats, cheeses, cornichons, dried apricots, coarse mustard, and fig spread. For entrees we ordered today's special, which was a beef shank with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables with a pan sauce. It also came with your choice of soup or salad. The beef had a lightly crispy exterior and absolutely melted in your mouth. We also ordered the duck two ways, which came with roasted potatoes and a cold butternut squash puree. The duck was moist and delicious, and the sides were very flavorful. I really can't say enough about the service. The bussers were gracious and the servers were so warm. The prices were reasonable and we will definitely be back!

Fabulous. I had the Chicken Cordon Blu. It was perfect. I chose to have the sauce on the side. My husband had the filet. We will be back. There was a lot of yummy sounding food. Prices were quite reasonable for a fine dining.

The food was great. Filet mignon was tender and cooked very well. The chocolate cake and creme brulee were scrumptious.

UPDATE: Wow! I have no idea what has happened since our last visit (see below). First our initial table (with a reservation) was right at the front door. We asked for another table and the hostess accommodated our request. We invited 2 close friends and boy were we embarrassed! Server came up and stated "I work here". We inquired about the 2 meal special and were notified it is now $60 for 2. What we didn't realize that everything that was available under the $65 previous special was no longer available under the $ 60 menu. Previously we were able to choose any appetizer, any dinner, and 1 desert from the menu. Apparently this is no longer the case. Soup of the day was the only choice! French onion soup was a $6 upcharge. Three of us ordered the steak vogue. Honestly, each could not have weighed more than 3 or 4 oz! Last time my steak was so big I took half home. My wife wanted pasta with shrimp...she was told she'd be charged per Shrimp!! Wow! Never heard such a thing...ever. Then came dessert. Again, previously we could order any dessert from the menu...last time we had creme brulle...this time we only got to choose a cake. Seems it depends on your server. People on the table next to us got very different choices. Also larger portions. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed! Embarrassed, because we we telling our friends what a great restaurant it is! We liked Vogue, but with this last experience, not sure we'll return again. ________________________ Awesome Service. Jason was was excellent! Food was terrific. Lasagna was big enough for 2 for 2 meals. Steak Vogue was delicious😋 Comfortable atmosphere. Great martinis!!

Pizza restaurant
Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House Surprise is a lively American gastropub in Surprise, Arizona, offering classic pub fare like wood-fired pizza, burgers, and BBQ alongside a wide selection of local craft beers. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe with multiple TVs for sports enthusiasts and an outdoor fire pit. It's a popular spot to catch the latest games while enjoying delicious food and drinks. Additionally, the establishment recently expanded to open a second location in Tempe, Arizona.
Came to Bonfire for the first time. What a phenomenal place. The beer was really good and the food was awesome!! They cooked my smoked wings to my request (extra crispy) and they were phenomenal. The burnt ends had great flavor and a good amount for a half order. The brisket sandwich was huge and loved that they had large chunks of brisket in it instead of just thin slices. The pulled pork sandwich was enough for a second meal. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Arizona.
Bradley K — Google review
We have mixed opinions regarding the food we were served. We had burnt tips which were well sauced, some were very chewy somewhere easy to eat. We also had brisket, my intention was to see if this brisket solved the problem of dry tasting meat, or would it be new and different experiencrte.tt The meat was very tender and nicely smoked but predictably dry. Service was spread very thin, one server covering top many people, the server tried to visit as often as possible. The pizza crust promised more than it could deliver, lacked flavor, seemed to need another pinch of salt or more proof time

My wife & I were meeting up with friends here. The food was pretty good, typical bar food, nothing extravagant, kinda a bit over priced for bar food but tasted very good. Most likely will not go back as it was not a truly memorable meal. Not saying the food is bad just I don't usually eat at a bar but we were meeting friends there so we went. If you are into bar food then this is a great choice.

First time there. We were seated in back with limited view of tv. Watching football. The appetizer plate was huge! Our server was very good, taking the time to explain the pizza options. Our pizza was good, but a little more charred on bottom than we like. Toppings were good. I think we will be back

First time here, had to wait a bit because of a Nebraska game but it was a great atmosphere and worth it! Hannah did s great job serving during a busy time, food was awesome and quick, drinks good and strong! We can't wait to return. Pics don't do justice because it was dark inside but pizzas are not individual!

We were looking for a new place to celebrate a birthday and the birthday girl wanted ribs so we chose here. The birthday dinner was a success and we definitely plan to go back for more. I had the Dirty Cajun which has a nice little kick. He went for green chile pulled pork which was a great twist on mac & cheese. The birthday dessert was tons of fun and we also had the Brookie, which was promptly devoured. Can't wait to try a beer next visit!!

Good was delicious. Kira our server was excellent! She recommended the meatloaf and it was phenomenal! First time here - took my son for his birthday dinner and it was delicious. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Restaurant
The Toast Craft Kitchen & Cocktails is an upscale American restaurant offering a creative menu of cocktails and a blend of American and Mediterranean cuisine. The emphasis is on fresh, high-quality ingredients served in a simple yet flavorful manner. Some recommended dishes include oven-roasted brussels sprouts with blue cheese, steamed mussels, and green chili pork served with hot buttered tortillas. The restaurant also features outdoor seating and serves weekend brunch.
My wife and I stopped in for a drink and to check out the spot since we live nearby. Outdoor patio is nice, roomy dining room and a good amount of room at the bar all caught my attention. Right away I noticed their daily special as well as their set specials on certain days such as the Friday fish fry. This was all I needed to see to know they are making quality meals. We had a reservation at Cooper's Hawk that evening but after getting to know the bartender, enjoying a unique take on an Old Fashioned, and getting a look at the menu we decided to cancel and we had ZERO regrets. We had their Goat Cheese Balls which are as good as everyone says they are. We didn't see the reviews until we ordered them and they didn't disappoint. I've never had anything quite like them. I had the special that night, Chicken Piccata, and my wife had the Ravioli. Both were fantastic and underscored our decision to cancel on the CH reservation. Bottom line for us, we didn't have to wait an extra 30 minutes to be seated even if we had a reservation and I'm not going to say anything on the CH menu couldn't be bested by the crew at Toast Craft Kitchen. We will be back again to check out more, especially the Limoncello Tiramisu that they were sold out of by the time we were able to request it. It appears their deserts are next level based on a few other reviews. This place is more personable and more personality than a lot of the larger chain restaurants out there and the food/drinks are just as good if not better. Do yourself a favor and make an effort to stop in.

This was a nice little find. They do their best to create a good atmosphere in a shopping center location. The service is very good, friendly, and attentive. We ordered fried calamari 4.5/5, Cubano sandwich 4/5, Greek salad 4/5, side if rosemary fries 4.5/5, and baklava cheesecake 4.5/5. Reasonably priced wines. Full bar.

Baklava cheesecake I’m going to stop here so you can read that again Never have I ever seen Baklava cheesecake available on a menu. This is currently a seasonal item but I really hope they make it a standard item I recently moved to surprise so now I’m learning and eating my way through my new neighborhood Small, local and family owned this place made my heart smile The servers and bartenders know their customers by name and they also know their usual orders The back and forth banter as we sat next to a couple and the husband was trying a new sandwich made me giggle I got the chop salad and I was pretty excited about it as I only know one other restaurant that serves it The salmon chop salad was wonderful and a great order if you’re looking for something light and delicious We also got the Mediterranean chicken wrap. Great flavor and the pita bread was wonderful We also ordered fries although they were so yummy we devoured them before I got a picture (rookie mistake) but since I plan on going back I’ll send an update We didn’t get any cocktails but they looked really good You all know I’m a sucker for an espresso martini and I was informed this place makes a mean one Let me close by again reminding you that they have baklava cheesecake You could go and just order this while doing a happy dance

First time here today. I entered and waited to be seated; no host to greet me. When welcomed I asked to be seated in the bar. It was their ‘Happy Hour.’ The TVs were showing the ALCS game, and a college FBS game matching UofMiami vs Louisville. Seating was nice, and the restaurant is clean; spacious; well lit; and not very loud. Being new I took my time ordering. For starters I selected their whole lump crab cakes with an aioli sauce; and the Friday Special fish fry. One question regarding substitutions. I was offered a salad in place of the french fries, and chose their Caesar salad. The crab cakes arrived. They were of a good size, and had a very good crisp. The sauce was alright; having a spicy flavor. I would have loved a more creamy tartar like sauce. Of my meal the crab cakes stole the show. The entree and salad arrived. The salad was ok. A bit on the dry side as it could have used a touch more dressing. As for the fried Cod… they were nice; had a slight crisp; but were small. The tartar sauce was peculiar in taste. It was homemade, and I think I detected some dill. I took the last piece, fries, and coleslaw home as leftovers. My check before taxes was $38.00. I may return to try some other menu items, but charging $20 for a fish fry one can do better. I didn’t order a cocktail. Unable to drink for personal reasons. They seem reasonably priced, and good quality. Before leaving I visited the men’s room. It’s fairly clean. The urinal was out of order. As for the toilet, the toilet paper roll 🧻 dispenser was awkward; and a challenge to get tissue from. Come visit and see for yourself. With the more pleasant weather they have a patio in front. Parking is available in the mall setting.

Good local spot. Stopped in here for dinner and enjoyed the tacos (better with tzatziki sauce). The hummus was a little different but good. I've heard the desserts are great and will be back to try.
Jason M — Google review
Staff was nice, helpful and quick. Very nice inside restaurant. We had take out, enjoyed muscles and calamari (sauce was simple but may be better with a tangy/citrus one), muscles were nice and big in size(sauce flavorful) bread would be yummy with garlic butter instead of baguette. The flatbread with fig and prosciutto was really tasty but bread was too chewy. Overall, yummy appetizers! Thank you!

Stumbling upon The Toast Craft Kitchen & Cocktails in Surprise, AZ, felt like uncovering a hidden gem in the neighborhood. This spot exudes the warm, inviting vibe of a place where you're likely to bump into a friend over a craft cocktail or a specialty coffee at their charming coffee bar. The interior boasts an open layout adorned with French-inspired art and contemporary lighting, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance. The seating arrangement includes a few cozy booths and an assortment of freestanding and high-top tables, catering to both dining and casual drink sipping. The culinary experience at The Toast is nothing short of fantastic. We indulged in the FRIED GOAT CHEESE BALLS, an exquisite appetizer drizzled with Truffle honey and sprinkled with chopped pistachios—a delight when accompanied by a glass of deep red wine. The CUBANO sandwich, with its tender shredded green chili pork and perfectly paired accompaniments, alongside thin rosemary French fries served in a quaint fry basket, was a standout. The CHOP salad was another highlight, a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients and flavors that left us thoroughly impressed. However, the dining experience wasn't without a couple of slight flaws. The two-top tables felt a tad too close, compromising privacy and comfort. A greater variety of seating options could enhance the overall ambiance. Additionally, the pricing of the goat cheese balls seemed disproportionate compared to the value of other menu items. Service-wise, our server could have been more attentive with water refills, a small detail that didn't go unnoticed. Despite these minor critiques, The Toast Craft Kitchen & Cocktails left a lasting impression. The exceptional food, lovely interior and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit in Surprise.

The menu also boasts various options such as parmesan-crusted chicken, grilled shrimp, and baby back ribs. Combining a relaxed ranch-style ambiance with an upscale steakhouse feel, LongHorn Steakhouse has been serving delectable meals since 1981.
We had a wonderful experience last night eating at this LongHorn Steakhouse location to celebrate my birthday. All of the employees were very welcoming and Jasmine as our server, was outstanding. I ordered steak and lobster as a special treat for my birthday, and it was very delicious. Jasmine brought me a special dessert on the house for my birthday, which was very appreciated. I love LongHorn Steakhouse for the atmosphere. I would definitely return to this location.

After a long stretch of satisfying meals, things are going amiss. They don't always have lamp chops on the menu, so we went for it, twice. The first time, the chops were fatty but edible, and the second time, it was pretty much all fat. See photo. Corporate reimbursed us. We decided to use the reimbursement to order two bacon cheeseburgers to go. There was no bacon with the orders when I got home. I went back to get the bacon. The manager was apologetic, but rather dismissive. We do not recommend this establishment until they clean up their act. Highly disappointed with the Surprise Longhorn steakhouse.

Overall the food was great, but my wife's ribeye, & my porterhouse were pretty over done. We didn't say anything to the server. They still tasted decent, but pretty dry. Other than that, it was good, & our server was very nice & attentive.

A very fine restaurant we love to use for some of our very special occasions. While our 48th anniversary was a couple of months ago, we delayed having dinner out as we moved to the valley for me to start a new job. So our visit was one of those special occasions.

Absolutely! Here’s a Google review you can post for LongHorn Steakhouse: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always a great experience at LongHorn! Every time we come here, the food is delicious and the service is even better. The servers are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. You never feel rushed, and they go out of their way to check in and make sure everything is perfect. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, LongHorn consistently delivers great food and even better hospitality. Highly recommend! 🥩

Took my daughter for her birthday steak. The food was great and the steak was cooked to medium throughout. I know that's not easy and most come out closer to well done at other restaurants. Portions were legit and seems to be priced pretty fair for what crap is costing all of us right now. The waitress was great as well. No complaints.

Stumbled onto this neighborhood local bar. Bartenders will make you whatever you'd like. They do a great job and really make efforts. I ordered a different martini each round, and they were very accommodating. Cheers! It was karaoke night, and there were actually some decent singers in the crowd. The place was packed, and it was a good time. Definitely will visit again.
Kimber C — Google review
Pretty cool vibe in the place for older people. Reasonably priced drinks and pretty quick service. I was caught up in the Friday night karaoke chaos. It's pretty much a given that the singers are going to be bad (not all) but the sound system was horrible. I'm just going to guess that the karaoke host is not a sound pro or know what an equaliser is. It also made me realize that it would be nice if karaoke shows were more like bands, they take a break every once in awhile to give the customers a break too.

We came here for liveband on a Tuesday , I felt that the audio just all sounded wrong , their mics and instruments were way too quiet in my opinion. The long 30min breaks the band took were annoying . Very hard to get our servers attention . I don’t think we will come back

This has a feel of hole in the wall bar because the second you walk in, if you’re not a regular, you will be stared at! The service took awhile to be waited on, even though it wasn’t busy besides the people sitting at the bar and a group of men playing some game on the other side. If you don’t like high top tables, you’re out of luck since that’s all they have. We both order the Philly Steak and Chicken Philly. The bread was tasty along with the toasted cheese. I can’t say much about the chicken or steak because it was hard to find. First and last stop!

Average sports bar feel. Very spacious. The service was on and off. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich 4/5 and the Reuben 4.5/5. The seasoned curly fries are worth the upgrade. Good bar and local and national crafts on draft.

They have such good food! Their Ruben burger is so good and the sweet chili wings are amazing! I usually do take out and the guy at the bar is always so nice. When I dined in the waiter forgot about my table and the service was very slow. Overall great food, you might want to call for takeout :)

I have lived here for 8 years and it was my second visit to Brookside. The music is good, the food is okay and the owner is rude. He approached us with anger and hostility at 5:15pm telling us we couldn't save seats and if all our group wasn't there by 5:30, he would sit us elsewhere. It wasnt even busy and there was available seating throughout the evening! He said he was just trying to make a living, he pays the band well, and it is soon the busy season with snowbirds coming back. We explained that we had a group of at least 10 coming. We ended up with a group of 11 AZ residents who all ate, drank and enjoyed the music. Between 11 customers, we spent upwards of $300.00. Our next group event will be elsewhere due to the owner! Poor business etiquette at this location. Just to note, we were calm and understanding since we knew that social media is a better way to deal with poor business manners.
Denise A — Google review
Only here in Arizona for a few days - personally… I thought this was the worst burger I’ve ever had. The side blueberry slaw was also pretty horrible. Get better ingredients. Might just be a place to grab a drink and watch the games… but ditch the food.
Giuseppe S — Google review
The bartenders are great and they have great intention, but the kitchen is still lacking. Even when it’s only a quarter full, you can’t get your food for 45 minutes. And for those of you who are playing at the sports complex here, do not bring your team here. It will be two hours before any player sees food. Which as you and I both know, is disastrous If you’re just trying to hang out, watch the game and the horse races, it’s a good place to come just don’t order food from the kitchen

Update: I’ve been here multiple times and I LOVE Booty’s. Tried their pretzel bites and I love them. Their burger sliders are fantastic. The cilantro aioli is HEAVENLY. I ordered sweet potato fries and they were also delicious! OG Review: The Mac and cheese with shrimp added is an absolute addiction since it has hatch chiles. The Parmesan garlic boneless wings and they were much better than BWW in my opinion! Drinks were tasty and affordable. Definitely will be back!

"overpriced mediocre wings with OK service"... In all seriousness, the wings were anything to write home about. The only standout was the Caesar Fire, which was good if you're a fan of Caesar dressing and wanted a little kick. The Crazy Hot trasted like they were trying too hard without actually being hot unfortunately. The Totchos were pretty good, a little steep at $13 for essentially loaded tater tots... And the pricing overall was the biggest disappointment, $57 for 40 wings felt a bit ridiculous, AND THEN they surcharged you for paying with a credit card, as if anyone carries cash anymore... At the end of it wings and beer for two was almost $100... I didn't get good poisoning, but I wouldn't return.

A rating of merely 4.4 out of 5? Mind boggling. This place RIPS. Not only were the wings outstanding but our server, Tara(h?) was fantastic and made such great recommendations. We forgot some of the names they used but look for something similar to the Buffalo Garlic Parmesan, Mango Chipotle, and Cesar. Hot fire. The fries were boom bangin too. If you’re an adult and like bleu cheese, you’ll love that dressing. For the rest of you simpletons, the ranch is great as well. Loved the live music and can’t wait to come back for the Wednesday special- 90 cent wings! Tell you what- after eating at Booty’s, I can’t wait to see what dis booty do in the morning. Booty wings? More like booty SINGS. Well worth it. This place is booty lickin’ good!

I had a chicken sandwich wich (lol) was awesome and my wife enjoyed her Nacho volcano platter. all was good, we really enjoyed our 1st visit here and we'll be back!

I have been here at least 10 times for dinner and beverages. Wife loves JoJo's Mac-n-Cheese. Tonight was moderately busy, service was extremely average, food came out in a timely manner. Unfortunately I have made the decision not to return and is solely based on the food. I've had many things from the menu and have left the table disappointed too many times. Seems to be retirement age overwhelmed.

Food was alright. It would be better if we got it fresh. Our server Shay was nice and greeted us at first got us our drinks . We then placed our order with her, and more people were coming in. How is it that these people who came in 20-30 min later than us got their food first . We had 3 hungry kids with us . We would try to look for our server and we saw her just talking in the kitchen with the other girls . Still no food until we asked if it was almost out and ready is when she decided to check . Terrible service . She needs to be more attentive and work on her customer service skills . Thats happened to us twice already .

First visit, and it was delicious! We had a short wait for a table, and the service was a little slow, but they were busy, so it made sense. The server was super friendly! I really enjoyed the Cali chicken sandwich and grilled veggies. The veggies were a bit overcooked, but tons of garlic, which I loved! My husband got the MOS (mushroom, onion swiss) burger, and he really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to trying to wings on another visit. A table close by got the wings, and they looked amazing.

Arrived on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. Service was great, the lighting was perfect for me as I prefer it to be a little dim, and the noise level wasn’t too loud. Appetizer: The cheese curds were absolutely delicious but there was so much oil pooled below them. The marinara sauce was good too! Dinner: I ordered the steak sandwich and it was good! I didn’t expect it to come with sauerkraut but I enjoyed it thankfully. Definitely will be coming back 🙂

Folks was great. Took mother there for her birthday lunch. Food was excellent, and the perpotion size was very big( could've shared)! Atmosphere was very cozy friendly and your semi typical sprtsbar. We really liked the big projected pictures on the wall for the games, as no glare and was very easy to see across the room! Only conplaint I have and my mother, was the waitress taking her slow time to drop check give change etc. Would've been not so ticked if v she was not v running around chit chatting to other employees and so on. Then lied about waiting for change, as i went up to the counter after 10 min of waiting for her to pick up money. Went to the counter and the girl begging there said oh for your waitress even though sensed as if she could have done this, but in guess wiping menus were get only task. So again ib wait by the counter this time for several more min watching her chit chat around then get change and come up to say sorry I was waiting for your change!?! WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING I JUST WATCHED YOU THE WHOLE TIME. I still tipped her $5 as it's was wonderful up until the check part and getting change. ...

My first impression was a bar most likely frequented by Ohioans as there was an OSU banner, Cleveland Browns banner, Kosar’s jersey, and such. Anyway, a friend and coworker commented about the food. That piqued my interest coming for lunch. I ordered their Famous Reuben Sandwich with chili ($2 up charge). The chili came with onions and cheese. I was warned that it had a spicy kick. There wasn’t one. It was ok; nothing that really wowed me. One bite disappointed me as I had a fibrous bean 🫘 that was unappealing. I had to spit it out. These typically happen when the beans are not properly cleaned. There wasn’t a lot of flavor. The beans were mostly black and red beans; and were more than I’d care to have in a chili that should be more about the beef, peppers, and spices. As for the Reuben, there’s a lot of room for improvement. Starting with the rye bread: it could have had a better crisp to it using butter or mayo for frying in the pan. There was not much of the sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. The dressing tasted peculiar as it had a unique flavor for Thousand Island dressing. Was it homemade? The worst part was the meat. I’m not one for shaved beef, and this tasted shaved; not thinly sliced. It was dry, and there wasn’t much on the sandwich. I was disappointed in that, and the fact that deli quality sandwiches are typically served with a pickle. There was no pickle. There are better places to go to for quality sandwiches like a Reuben. Scott’s Generations and Miracle Mile come to mind. Before leaving and after paying my check ($23.20 after tax), I used the men’s room. It’s fairly clean. Being situated in a mall there is adequate parking. I may return to try something else on their menu. But I warn you to watch out for the Reuben sandwich. Who named it for being famous had to have been served a better sandwich than the one I had.

I went there with my wife, and we had a good time. Great food and amazing cocktails.

I sent my hubby here to grab some Chili to go. Albeit, I never tried it here before, but figured I'd give it a try. For the sakes of the Mediterranean diet, and keeping up with my intake. ...I thought it was very good, but just a wee bit spicy. I liked it. Everything we've had here in the past was always good. No complaints.

This review is specifically for Sammy, if he’s bartending my experience is honestly 12/10. When Sammy’s not bartending I just go elsewhere, he really makes the atmosphere and experience a million times more enjoyable and I wish he was on bar way more! He’s hilarious and a very personable young man!

Ok, I got the wings which were good, but the guy sitting next to me ordered the Whiskey burger and it looked fantastic! So I ordered the whiskey burger to go, and let me tell you, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! No joke! GET THE WHISKEY BURGER!! You will not regret it! Even the fries were to die for! I wish I lived in the area. This bar would be my regular.
