The Camp Restaurant is a cozy, old-school spot that offers a variety of pub fare from tacos to burgers, along with an extensive selection of craft draft beers. Located in Natchez, it provides spectacular views of the Mississippi River and serves delicious food reminiscent of New Orleans. The restaurant's outdoor bar is a popular spot for enjoying burgers and local microbrews while watching riverboats cruise by.
Everything was delicious! We started off with the Philly Cheese Totchos. They tasted great and would have been a meal in itself. I got the 8 oz. Slow Burn - medium rare. The burger was a Perfect medium rare and hit all the right taste notes. My wife loved her Turkey Ranch Melt. If I lived in the area this would become a regular stop. The service was also fantastic.

Wow!!!! YOU MUST COME TO THIS PLACE!!! For the Fourth of July, my bf and I came to this restaurant around 7:50 P.M., and there was not a long wait at all, especially during festive circumstances like the Fourth of July. Our waiter Brice was the BEST, EVER, and he was so attentive to ALL of HIS customers. We both ordered the Island Chicken Tacos: 100/100!!!! Of the charts!!! Hands-down, the best tasting chicken tacos that I have ever enjoyed. For dessert, the BREAD PUDDING AND SEASONAL CHERRY PUDDING WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!
University A — Google review
Excellent restaurant. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful, especially our waiter who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful (sorry I’ve forgotten your name but photo attached!) The burger was great, with a perfectly cooked medium rare patty, and some nice buffalo wings. A gem in Natchez
Stuart W — Google review
Really nice place "under the hill" in Natchez. The kitchen takes care to make the food tasty and our server Macey was spot on. The small burger or slider is good but the regular 8oz gives a better meat to stuff ratio. Juicy and not overcooked with enough heat to be enjoyable.

We are following the"Great River Road" and after a great travel day, we decided to stop at The Camp Restaraunt. We are driving a class B motorhome (21') and has no trouble finding parking. We went to the bar section of the restaurant and enjoyed a from from the bar menu. It was a busy night, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The staff is awesome & the food delicious!! This restaraunt should not be missed! Enjoyed every bite!!

I Really enjoyed the steak tacos. My children liked the catfish. My wife got a burger which was good. The whole family enjoyed the totchos. The restaurant has rustic/classic kinda atmosphere with a view of the Mississippi River. We will be back
Heath T — Google review
The restaurant was quite busy when we got there on a Monday night in September - but we got seats outside overlooking the Mississippi right way. Our bartender/waitress was excellent! Make a reservation if you want to eat inside. We were VERY happy outside at the railing. Big menu - lots of choice - many of them looked delicious.
Robert — Google review
Well to be honest there was a lot of great potential, just could have been executed better, I had the pork belly tacos, the pork belly was underwhelming and not very tender little to no seasoning, it was drenched in the sauce which was good but a bit more slaw and maybe a single piece of pineapple in the pineapple salsa would have been a nice touch, chips were bland with no salt at all as was the salsa... Great concept just missed the mark, I also had the bread pudding that whole presentation was great was a bit dry and lacking flavor, I'd definitely had better at a famous Dave's in Montana, my husband had the brisket sandwich and a salad and the brisket was super thin sliced and dry more like jerky, the appearance was great but flavors could have been better for sure. Overall it gave mom and pops owned Applebee's vibes. I think the 30 plus minute wait was over excessive considering the host also skipped over us and went to the folks behind us to seat them with the same size party of two and to walk in with over half the tables empty... Just a little bit of a disappointment but with tweaks could be much better.

Under-the-Hill Saloon is located in Natchez, a prominent Mississippi River port known for its opulent merchants and planters during the 18th and 19th centuries. The area's economy boomed with the shift to cotton production and the introduction of steamboat service on the river. It was once supreme in the Mississippi-upper Alabama region and served as Mississippi's territorial capital.
Oldest bar on the Mississippi River. A MUST stop for a sunset beverage for sure. Great live music! Go to enjoy, this is an old school bar and still keeps tabs on paper! There are darts and foosball if you like that sort of fun. Could honestly spend hours just taking in all of the history on the walls!!
Where's W — Google review
Fun place, make sure you check out the food menu on Google to see their many selections that they actually really don’t have. The price is appropriate. I really loved spending an hour in there and seeing all the history on the walls. You cannot replicate or duplicate this, this is a locals only hang out, and I came in visiting from a cruise ship. Nobody wanted to chat because they were all engaged in their own conversations. That’s cool, I really just wanted to check out the vibe.
Mitch S — Google review
Stopped in on a Monday night - what a cool place! The atmosphere was so interesting and filled with history, lots of locals and out-of-town visitors. Everyone was so friendly. Drinks are not expensive. Bonus there was live music - a couple of really talented artists singing and playing guitar. Definitely recommend going to this place!
Barb A — Google review
The oldest saloon on the Mississippi River. Very charming, historic, and lovely place. The bartender was great! Simple drinks, cheap prices, and loads to check out in the walls. Pool table and darts. Expect it to be "lived in" and not "new build". We loved it!
Rachael K — Google review
Brilliant dive bar, with amazing views outside, good selection of beers and some great music. Staff and the locals are all so nice, and spoke to us about our trip and told us about Natchez and some sites on the trace. Really great bar would highly recommend and really made a memory of Natchez that I wasn’t expecting.
Stuart W — Google review
This place and the people who enjoy it are super fun. We met people who were so kind and conversational. Our bartender Kevin was attentive and thoughtful, he even made me a specialty drink when I was having trouble deciding. The atmosphere is well, divine and just plain comfortable/casual. Looking at the setting sun over the Mississippi River while sipping on cocktails is dreamy.
Liz S — Google review
Great little dive bar full of stuff all over the walls and ceilings! Most of it was nautical as expected, you could spend weeks there and notice something different each visit! Beer prices were cheaper than expected! Nothing on tap, but a quaint little historic building with good bar tenders! Wonder how all the dollar bills got on the ceiling!

Nestled in the historic Under-the-Hill District of Natchez, Magnolia Grill offers a casual dining experience with stunning views of the Mississippi River. Housed in a rebuilt saloon, this eatery features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide an excellent vantage point for watching river activities. Specializing in Gulf seafood, steaks, and burgers, it's a local favorite known for its regional cuisine with a Louisiana influence.
This was hands down the best food we had while in town. Everything was scrumptious per my daughter. The location right off the Mississippi River is the perfect backdrop. All the staff were nice and attentive. After dinner we were able to take beautiful pictures by the river. I highly recommend this restaurant and will visit the next time we are in town.
Lisa S — Google review
We had an early dinner on a Tuesday so no problem getting at a table with a view. Shrimp and grits was good but the grilled asparagus was anemic and no seasoning. There server, Cody came out with an order of grilled zucchini to replace the asparagus because the kitchen was not happy with their asparagus today. Nice touch to be preemptive. My fried shrimp were nice size but way too much breading for me. Side of grits very good. Also we had fried green tomatoes with good hollandaise sauce but the shrimp/crawfish topping seemed like it had been in the steam table too long. Kinda of tough. Nicely breaded but for us too thick of a slice so interior was crunchy.
Doug A — Google review
The place was packed. All the staff was constantly running. Had the grilled shrimp with loaded potato and grilled asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was cheerful and even suggested a couple of places in New Orleans to eat. She couldn't have been nicer. Just a great place with great food and staff.
Don C — Google review
Extremely friendly, very helpful with menu recommendations. Our server was Lisa and she was phenomenal. Hats off to the chef, this was the best meal of my entire 9 day vacation. We ate all over New Orleans, Florida, & Alabama. This topped everything. I had the bbq shrimp, which was cooked PERFECTLY. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner

Delicious 😋 and the view of the river! My fav was the appetizer fried green tomatoes topped with crawfish and a cream sauce so good! I had the blackened redfish topped with cream sauce with a side of asparagus. Great service, setting and food!

Over from UK touring some southern states and just finished a dinner for 4 here. Excellent choices on menu and well made. Stand out for me was the service. Attentive but not overbearing. Super friendly wish we were staying longer as would definitely eat here again. Thanks

Restaurant
Fat Mama's Tamales is a popular Mexican restaurant located in a charming house, offering a funky interior and serving up delicious tamales and margaritas. It is considered an iconic eatery in Natchez, known for its Knock-You-Naked margaritas and Mississippi tamales. The restaurant also features patio seating and serves Gringo Pie tamales topped with chili, cheese, onions, and jalapenos.
Stopped by for a quick lunch. The tamales are so good! Maybe the best I’ve ever had? Def the most meat. We got six tamales and the fire n ice pickles and it was perfect to split- if you have the willpower. I went with the recommended blended mango and strawberry marg and it was PERFECT on a hot day. We had to get a dessert and went with the caramel cheesecake since the key lime pie was out. Omg - so good.
Louisa S — Google review
Mama doesn't know how to cook. The service and atmosphere were great. But the food was lacking. We had tacos, tamales, and bondin. The tacos were almost passable, but everything else was yuck. Sorry for the review, but Mama doesn't know how to cook.
Nancy J — Google review
My two tacos were tasty. The knock-you-naked margarita didn’t. Not sure why they check ID. A person cannot stay long to chat with friends with the staff screaming non stop.
S. K — Google review
Southwest Tacos, with lettuce, Cotija cheese, sweet peppers, onions, fresh jalapenos, Green Chile sauce, and a lime crema. Those little red peppers are flavor bombs and really take these tacos to another level. Get a side of Mexican Street Corn and your taste buds will thank you...
Brandon B — Google review
The tamales used to be so good the last few years they are just totally drying can I eat them. However the Margaritas are okay and if you prefer water or another beverage they have that also. Of course the pickles are still delicious.
Ethel K — Google review
Loved the vibe here and the hot tamales were delicious. I ended up getting the gringo pie and it was great! Quick service too! My picky child was able to get plain tacos so that was a plus!
Celeste V — Google review
This is my 1st time here. I like. the location and the parking was easy access. Sitting outside was really nice. The food was good. There were a few things on the menu I thought would be there but wasn't. Overall the food was good.
Donald J — Google review
Tonight is a sad evening. It is my last night in Natchez, Mississippi. But, I made it so much more enjoyable when I found Fat Mama's Tamales on South Canal Street. Their tamales are by far the best I have ever had! Natchez always makes me happy. There is just something about this town. Full of history and great people and the staff at Fat Mama's were so nice and friendly. Really enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich, but will definitely go back for the tamales and the chili. If you get the homemade chips salt them liberally - they are good. I'm saving some for the drive home. 😊 Great place to relax and watch traffic go by. If ever in the neighborhood take a seat on the patio and order up some of the best tamales ever.

Really nice retreat downtown for some really good food. Excellent service from Jessica while we were there. Relaxing atmosphere. Beans and rice were perfect. Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Tom A — Google review
Neat little place that was close by. Sat at the well stocked bar and was greeted right away by Megan. Read the menu before going so I knew just what I wanted so i didnt have any questions. Ordered the Rib and Chicken Combo. Half rack of ribs and a chicken half with sides of baked beans and some coleslaw. The chicken was apparently a close cousin to an Emu because it was huge! Tasty as can be as well. The ribs were tender and almost fall off the bone and were very tasty and then with the addition of just a hint of their sauce were absolutely wonderful. The biscuits in the Biscuits and Blues name were small but soft and delicious. They serve them with a butter blended with apricot preserves. Yummy! There was no live music or even any blues playing but the food and atmosphere made it seem not important. The place had a good number of local folks eating which is always a good sign for me. Parking is ample but the entrance can be missed if you're not careful. All in all - worth the visit.
Gregory D — Google review
Lovely little restaurant with live music in the heart of Natchez. The service was very attentive and quick. When the food arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very fresh and so tasty. The burger was so different to anything I had before or what I expected based on the description on the menu. The mix of pork ribs, chicken and crawfish along with the cheese and barbecue sauce used was very special. Would recommend this meal to anyone looking for a different take on a bbq burger.
Jacob H — Google review
Matthew was such a great server, so much fun! Great food. Good prices. Fantastic atomsphere
Nancy J — Google review
Probably the best meal we had on our 3 week trip through NC, GA, LA. Mississippi. Biscuits with apricot butter, to die for, catfish with cheese grits and crayfish sauce, unforgettable!
Marilu C — Google review
wanted to enjoy my meal, but several issues stood out. The fish was soggy with a burnt oil smell, the oysters didn’t meet expectations, the egg rolls were overcooked, and the greens were cold. I’d recommend focusing on freshness, proper oil temperature, and serving temperatures to improve consistency.
Daniel B — Google review
Came here for lunch and ordered the Fried chicken and Biscuit. The chicken was super moist and was well seasoned. It also had a maple honey butter on it which complimented it well. The biscuit was also fluffy and buttery which was good. The Sandwich was actually pretty large so it was filling. The meal also came with fries which were cooked well and seasoned well. The service was also good and quick. It is in a great location in the historic downtown, so I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Wesley B — Google review
Ate here several times in the past before new owners. After new owners we decided to give them a shot. The biscuits was always good and was free to all that came in and ate. Well now they are $6.00 for three very small biscuits. The first she brought to the table was so hard and salty you couldn’t eat them. The next ones was a little softer but tasted like fish. Also the fried pickles tasted like fish. The red beans and rice had so much garlic in them you could not eat them. The food was terrible and the prices was very high. I will note return.

Slick Rick's Foods in Natchez, MS is a popular spot known for its mouthwatering Monte Cristo Sandwich and convenient off-street parking. The restaurant offers a unique two-story dining experience, combining a restaurant, bakery, and bar all in one place. Chef Rick Simons brings years of experience from the Gulf Coast to create an expansive menu that caters to everyone.
The food was great. We especially enjoyed the garmeson fries appetizer. My only complaint would be the tables moving every time someone walked by us on 2nd level. I guess that comes with these old buildings and their little quirks. We would definitely eat here again.
Victoria L — Google review
Really good food! Our waitress was very kind. Love the old cafe look. If y’all want good food for a good price.. give this place a chance. I got the bacon cheeseburger freakin amazing!! My wife got the steak Philly, that was really good as well! Thank you Slick Rick…we will definitely come back here next time we visit Natchez and I will spread the word. Come visit Slick Rick cafe.
Daniel M — Google review
Incredible food! I don’t know why this place isn’t a full 5 stars, deserves it. We had the southern seafood grits, the gar-mesean fries, and the chesus. 10/10 for all three. Service was fast, even on a Saturday at 1pm, and they have an adorable upstairs seating area.
Jordan I — Google review
Oh my word! Even better than I remembered. Three-ish years ago I came to Natchez and ate at Slick Rick’s. I remembered it as being so good that I wanted to eat there again. My impression-memory did not do me wrong. Did I mention it was even better than I remembered? I had the Monte Cristo Reeto “wrap”…but this ain’t your typical wrap. This takes that term to a whole ‘nuther level. Make sure you dip it in the Tabasco jelly that it’s served with. Don’t worry. Barely any spicy heat. Just the right amount to add an amazing accent to the flavor. And speaking of flavor and dip, get the sweet potato fries and dip them in the caramel sauce. I know. Sounds crazy and it is. CrAzY good. Imagine sweet potato casserole flavor in a French fry. And if all that ain’t enough, I ordered a slice of eclair cake to go. If you like a super moist, Texas chocolate sheet cake, you gotta try this Slick Rick’s offering. This Mississippi cousin-of-a-cake is one of THE best desserts this side of the Mississippi. This size isn’t huge so don’t feel like you gotta share it. The Monte Cristo Reeto WAS big though so feel free to split that with your lunch date. But if it was me? I wouldn’t. The leftovers are going to be perfect for breakfast! Btw, the brand new waitress Hailey did a lovely job and the been-there-for-more-than-a-minute Kelly was super helpful and knowledgeable. Eat outside, eat downstairs, eat upstairs, eat it to-go, just eat Slick Rick’s. I may find an excuse to do just that again tomorrow!
Elysa M — Google review
Ordered the beef Wellington egg rolls(not a fan), chicken and waffles, and Texas burger. The Texas burger and fries were great!! Very cute in side, just wished they were playing music to go with the theme of the place. It was very quiet inside.

I had the cafe burger... MUCH larger than I thought it would be... Incredible! The bun was soft and VERY flavorful too... Similar to Hawaiian King Bread and very soft. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. An absolutely perfect lunch! I couldn't even wait to take the picture! Yum!

King's Tavern, the oldest standing building in Natchez dating back to 1789, offers a unique dining experience with its rustic and antique ambiance. The restaurant is known for its wood-fired steaks, pot pies, and craft spirits. While the menu may not be extensive, the quality of the food has received high praise from visitors. Adjacent to the tavern is a distillery owned by Doug and Regina Charboneau, producing specialty rum.
This place is fantastic. We had missed it on our last stop in Natchez as it is only open Thursday through Sunday. We are delighted we were able to try it this time around. Located in the oldest building in Natchez and maybe in all Mississippi, the atmosphere is that of an old tavern, but the menu is fit for foodies. We sampled roasted cauliflower with a horseradish and caper sauce, artichoke hearts wrapped in bacon with an aioli sauce, crawfish potpie with a rosemary biscuit topping served with a salad with preserved lemon vinaigrette, and a brisket flatbread with caramelized onions and a drizzle of horseradish sauce, and to fonish a black bottom ice cream pie filled with homemade dark chocolate ice cream and topped with whipped Bourbon cream cheese. Everything was finger licking good... The owner is passionate about his place and loves to tell stories of its past, murders and ghosts included... Service was perfect. Prices reasonable. Limited wine selection but our wine was excellent and they offer a wide range of craft cocktails and beers. We would come back in a heartbeat.
Veronique E — Google review
This was an unexpected find in Natchez...this tavern was built in 1789, and has run continuously since then. It has a great feel to it, built from the lumber of steamboats that came downstream to deliver supplies. The rum punch is fantastic, but they serve great beer as well. The gift shop upstairs is worthwhile for the history explained, alone. Don't miss this wonderful historic venue!
LJ S — Google review
Most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been to. The waiters their cracked me up even though I was so shy. The food. Was. Amazing. I am willing to drive 2 hours to eat there again.
Kendall A — Google review
We did the tour of The Distillery first and then they sent us to The Tavern we walked in and they gave us a number wasn't sure of what to do next so we just kind of stood around for a while and then went to the bar and ordered a drink made with the rum that is made there. The drinks were good the food that people were ordering looks good just being from out of town would have been nice to have had a little bit more instruction on what to do or expect next
Marcia S — Google review
It seems that Kings Tavern has relaxed a bit from what I remember from my previous visit years ago. That said, the relaxed atmosphere fits is well. The food was good and they havr a great cocktail menu. There are three local craft beers on tap also. Its definitely a must when you visit Natchez, Ms.

Really enjoyed the fish of the day with potatoes, carrots, flat bread, and sweet almond flavored iced tea. Dessert was bananas Foster with bread pudding and ice cream. Very unique venue that goes back to the late 1790's. The Charbonneau Rum Distillery is on the corner close by to King's Tavern.

Great vibe and ambiance (minus the TV) with delightful quirky features like the mini cauldrons of salt, peppercorns and red pepper flakes. The chaccuteri doesn't disappoint. Pairing the stone ground mustard on the flat bread with shaved Parmesan and pancetta made the appetizer disappear quickly. The steaks are sous vide to rare and popped into the wood oven for smoking...very tender in a wonderful gravy/au jus combination. Caution- the chef is a little heavy on the peppercorns, I was caught unaware with several in my first bite.

One word, phenomenal! We came for a place to sit and drink coffee and the history, the manager talked us into some food. Hands down the best restaurant in the city. Muffuletta was AWESOME! Coffee was GREAT, and it's not even a coffee shop. Hummus was good to, and I don't eat Hummus. The one thing I will elaborate on since I know I haven't is the service. Top notch! Great hospitality, manager and was accommodating for our kids, told us some stories. Joked with the kids, bar back was on top of order and getting drinks. When I say I'll be back, you better believe it. THANKS for redeeming Natchez from being a bust on good places to eat!

Located in downtown Natchez, Pig Out Inn Barbeque is a popular spot known for its wood-fired smoked BBQ, delicious sides, and refreshing beer. The restaurant offers a cozy and friendly environment with comfortable seating and soothing music. They take pride in serving well-prepared juicy meats without using grills, preparing every meal from scratch. Whether you're craving mouthwatering pork ribs, brisket sandwiches, or tender chicken, this joint has it all.
After meeting with a client to show property in Natchez, I had worked up an appetite! We drove downtown to the river banks of the Mississippi River to see what we could find to eat. Downtown Natchez is one of my favorite places, especially during Spring Pilgrimage. The "Pig Out Barbeque Restaurant" caught my eye immediately! I was hungry as a pig, so this was perfect. The entire restaurant is vintage with memorabilia from early days, old-time booths and unique tables to sit at to enjoy your meal. It is a walk up order and pick up tray to get your food. The menu is lots of barbeque items. I chose a half barbeque chicken with coleslaw and bake beans. The flavor was delicious! They also sell "Pork Skins" which seems to be a favorite. It is definitely a tourist spot, as I noticed someone come in with a nice camera to get some photos. If you are looking for a fun diner, I would stop at the "Pig Out Barbeque"! I will be back for more!

This has to be the best bbq I’ve ever had. The food was so good it left us speechless! The meats were amazing! The baked beans are over the top amazing! I’ve never tasted baked beans as awesome as these. We ordered more food to go because it was that good! Thank you Maurice, Kelsey, and Stella for your amazing service and taking such great care of us! Y’all rock!

The food was really good. The most unique nachos we have ever eaten in our life. We had nachos in Natchez! (Why don’t they make a T-shirt that says that? Make sure you mail a couple to me please). Stopped in on a Monday night, 8/26/25 when everything else was pretty much closed and the gals behind the counter were super friendly and encouraged us to come in, even though they were closing in about a half hour. We had the sausage sandwich, the nachos and the beans. All of it was fantastic. A true gem that we found by mistake. bought two bottles of their barbecue sauce to take back to Florida.

Great service, great atmosphere. Was skeptic, only a few people there. Looks like I received an old/over cooked batch. Very dry. Most pieces not able to eat. Complete waste! Families work too hard. Should not pay hard earned money for bad food/product. A business should always do their best for their customers. If you would not eat it, do not give it to your customers!

We found the Pig Out Inn Barbeque is a very casual barbecue restaurant. This is an order at the counter type place, with very good food. The seating is comfortable with booths and chairs inside and lots of outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly and overall it’s a good spot to eat.

More than good grub, damn good ... best baked beans ever next to my Dad's, the brisket was the bomb; great service with that lovely Down South southern hospitality; I loved reading the wall. I recommend this eatery!

Natchez Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded by husband-and-wife team Lisa and Patrick Miller, with Patrick drawing inspiration from his time in Asheville to bring craft beer to Natchez. The brewery offers a variety of unique, southern-inspired beers such as Bluff City Blonde Ale and Natchez Light Lager. In addition to their taproom serving brick oven pizzas, the brewery has become a popular stop for visitors looking to enjoy fresh IPA and Detroit-style pizza.
Incredible quality pizza + beer. The Crown pizza (Detroit style) and Bebelo Mexican beer are amazing. Really enjoyed this spot and I can't wait to get back!

Food is amazing. We got the pizza and a pretzel with beer cheese. I am going to say the best bear cheese I have ever had. We order the super flight so we got to sample 12 of the 14 beers on tap. I will say the definitely are going to have a beer for every taste bud. We did a traditional crust pizza and it was very good. Later others got the deep dish and it even looked better. This is a must goto when you are in town.

The 4 stars are mostly for the Calzones and pizza….they are awesome and the calzones are big. The variety of beer is good and the atmosphere is average. The service is good. And it’s on the edge of the downtown area, a block over from the entrance to the casino. Again, it’s all about the calzones for me!!!!!!
Herman B — Google review
An exceptional brewery. Wide variety of beer styles, great indoor/outdoor setting, and great food to match. I had the veggie calzone -- Jack of the Wood: Mushrooms, red peppers, red onion, black olives, pesto, fontina, ricotta, served with balsamic reduction. If I could give more than 5 stars, I wood! (See what I did there?)

Creative pizzas and nice selections of various beers. Pet-friendly covered outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and helpful.

What a cute, awesome gem! Just past the state line bridge and maybe a mile into the first town of Natchez . This place is adorable! Big picnic tables inside and out, fans inside to beat that souther heat. At least 20 taps of all original brews. I stuck with the Capitol Hazy IPA and wish I would have snagged a growler (NEXT TIME!). The pizzas were wonderful! Great menu options. Traditional, thin, or Detroit style crusts for all their pizzas. They even have fancy hot dogs! I got the sweet figgy piggy and hubby got the Buffalo chicken pizzas. I couldn’t taste the fig bits or the goat cheese as much as I thought I would but it was still good. The Buffalo chicken was LOADED! Have napkins ready. Great location, just a block from the walking trail of the Mississippi River. Plenty of seats inside. Large picnic tables inside, on their deck, and on the lower outdoor area. Dogs are welcome! Just must remain outside, unless a service animal of course. Stuff have water bowls out for the four legged friends. Towards the back half inside, there a foseball table and dart board for games. And they have bags you can check out for cornhole outside. Excited to find another little gem only 2hrs away. We’ll for sure be back!
Brittany K — Google review
A fun place with great, friendly staff and solid beers. We loved the Calzones! The menu states that cash transactions receive a 3.5% discount (as of Oct 2025). I was very disappointed that this posted discount is not honored. If you pay by cash, they do not charge you their credit card 3.5% surcharge. That is not the same as providing the 3.5% discount off their menu prices as stated on the menu. The incorrect and misleading menu soured our otherwise great experience.

The restaurant also showcases art and serves nouveau Southern cuisine, including refreshing mint juleps. Furthermore, the amiable and attentive staff contribute to a truly pleasurable affair.
Excellent place to have lunch hang out with your friends. I really enjoyed it. I had the smash burger and my buddy had the grilled cheese with brisket. I also had a side salad and the dressing was fantastic and had some gourmet cheese on there. The waitress Mandy was very attentive with a pretty smile. The second waitress helped us at one point they’re also friendly. Definitely a go to and a come back to. Thank you for a

I just cant say enough good things about this place. My first time eating there and was able to eat in the vault!! and it was awesome. The food was top notch and the service was excellent!!!! Our server was the best he really went above and beyond for us on every level. I do believe his name was Joshua and he was outstanding. The owner was there, Very Sweet Lady. I will definitely be going back when I am in the area. I live about an hour and 15 minutes away and I will drive that far to eat there again. Love this place and its absolutely beautiful inside!!

Frankie hit a homerun with this gem. What an awesome spot in a cool, historic bank. We had a spectacular meal with excellent service. The cheesecake was A-MAZING! Mr. Shelby, piano player may be the best we've ever heard. Loved it! 10 stars.

Owner greeted us and sat our party. He was welcoming and friendly and answered our questions. I have traveled extensively all overthe world and have never found a restaurant as welcoming and delicious as this one. Everything was so full of flavor and absolutely AMAZING!! This is a "DO NOT miss" location. Its worth a long drive to get the chance to eat here.

This place is in an old bank building with much of the original bank hardware (e.g. teller cages) still intact. Service seemed a little chaotic. Food was really good. The menu had a lot of diverse items. My gf and I split an order of caprese skewers that were excellent. She had grilled redfish with crab meat, that was as good as any served in our home town of New Orleans. I had a simple smash burger, cooked well done, that was not a dried-out lump of beef, but surprisingly tender. And the French fries were actually crunchy. We really liked this restaurant.

It was an amazing. Reasonable priced for a good homemade meal. Definitely would be a returning customer. Only complaint would be the sauce but everything else was perfect!

We had dinner at Frankie’s on Main and were glad we did. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Both the salad my wife had and my burger were excellent. The repurposing of the beautiful old bank building is great and the decor is wonderful. The old teller cages and massive vault door really add to the experience.

OMG. Frankie's was absolutely amazing!! Originally we had reservations somewhere else, but we ended up leaving and finding Frankie's. Thank the Lord! I'll start with the food. My husband and I ordered a variety of food and spirits. I had a blueberry martini, and a blueberry margarita; my husband had an old fashioned. All three were excellent and served to us by the owner himself. For dinner, we had Bao buns with pork belly 😋 and also the ones with brisket. Both were amazing; but the pork belly was to die for!!! My husband had the smash burger which he raved about. And the garlic rosemary fries with aioli were spectacular. BUT the absolute BEST thing on the menu was the pimento cheese dip with crackers. If you go GET IT!!! So so. AMAZING!!! I'll end with the aesthetics. The old bank turned into a restaurant was pure genius. It offers such a unique dining experience. Almost like a combination of Gringotts meets Alice in Wonderland. The restrooms were extremely clean and beautiful. This is no run of the mill restroom. It's beautifully decorated and offered mints and plackers for your teeth. All the staff was extremely nice & friendly and I would highly recommend a visit for both libations AND food!!

This was so close to a 5 star experience. My husband and I were here for Valentines Day. The dining area was beautiful and so romantic .Our server Ashley was phenomenal. So friendly and attentive. They have a vast wine selection..The roasted red pepper soup, duck, gnocchi, spinach, lemon merigue pie, and fingerling potatoes were all delicious. I ordered the prime filet and it was not cooked correctly. They did mostly correct it but it just had an ok taste, nothing great about it. The filet was the only reason that I couldn't give 5 stars , so I would definitely come back and try this beautiful place again..

We ate downstairs in the pub on a Tuesday. We had the spinach artichoke dip during happy hour. For appetizers I had the Crab Brie bisque and my wife had the Gouda Fries; both were good. We had a fantastic time at brunch! Several of my sorority sisters were in town for the Natchez Balloon Festival, coming from Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas to stay with a local sister and catch up. For many of us, it was our first time at the festival, and a few of us wrapped up the weekend with a delightful brunch at the Castle Restaurant. Additionally, guests can look forward to top-notch service from the friendly and accommodating staff during their stay at this Natchez gem.
While I must admit that me and my friend aren't much into the gambling scene. The food was excellent as was the service . It was Sunday evening around 8 PM , we had traveled a lot and were hungry as we hadn't eaten anything that day. With a couple places turning us down and not wanting to necessarily go to fast food we headed to check out the casino hoping maybe they had something. While there, we found out they closed at 9 and it wasn't long before that. But our server Joy, was very hospitable and seated us, never rushed us, and just overall was an excellent server ! I hope a manager sees this review and gives her a shout-out for great service!

Best fried pork chop dinner I've had in ages. Fairly loose penny slots that still let you play 1 credit per 1 penny. Bonus spins give a lot of bang for the buck if you're a conservative bettor and just like to watch the wheels go round and round. Band was due to play on a Saturday night but they weren't there. Parking is free but all down a steep hill, so be careful arriving. There is a beautiful sunset over the river here. An enjoyable evening out in the historic downtown district.

The location is always a treat in itself. The driveway leading to the building is a downward slope in which you go under a small bridge and emerge to a view of the Mississippi River. The Playmaker Cafe has some good choices, the food and drinks are great. As far as the games, I like some of them.. The amount services buttons are annoying though because sometimes they don't work.

This is a cool little casino. The staff on the floor an in the players club were friendly. An the few slots that I visited were loose . The Restaurant should just close. I would give restaurant a two as the service a one . Go to one of other restaurants in town for food. The food was fine the service , well bad and slow . Over one and a half hour dining experience. I will go back but four go the restaurant. Spent most of my time in the restaurant instead of on the casino floor.

Originally an abandoned blacksmith shop hidden under ivy, the building has been transformed into a charming space that attracts visitors for its architecture. The coffee house is run by Linda, who infuses her artistic and entrepreneurial spirit into the environment.
What a strange and cool coffee shop! It was a bit overwhelming walking in because there is so much to look at. Coffee was delicious, staff was amazing and they had a nice vibe. They sell select specialty items like coffee beans, chocolates, cigars, cherries, etc.

The service was prompt and friendly but I did not go for the coffee or food I went for the humidor but not much really going on in this humidor very small selection coupled with extremely high prices granted this is the only place in Natchez with cigars for the most part maybe one or two other places none of them have an actual selection but this guy is definitely proud of the cigars that he sells you would think he's in the back rolling them himself when you see his prices I pretty much did the math while I was in there sing me everything he had was damn near exactly twice the price of what you would pay for any of those cigars online or at a cigar store anywhere else in the country apparently this is a certified retirement community that does not like to spend their retirement money wisely or at least the owner of this shop thinks so. I do have to say that a remarkably nice well curled mustache. I mean if it's 1845 and you're into that sort of thing

Food was HORRIBLE! NEVER HAD WORSE! French dip was boiled meat, sliced, and put on a bun. No flavor, no salt, no onion flavor...just plain boiled! Au jus tasted like they just scooped it out of the river. No flavor except mud! Fried pickles too salty to eat. I literally ate 1 bite out of everything for $20. Service was friendly, but tell your cooks to taste test from time to time. I don't think anyone would let that leave their kitchen, except in the trash!

Pretty good food our hotel Natchez Grand Hotel recommend it to us and we took it up as we found out it was right next door just had to walk, we were exhausted after a long day of hiking so it was an easy choice. Food was pretty good and the beer cold I wish I would of gotten something a little more satisfying but was extremely tired I got the seafood nachos and seafood gumbo and my girl got the catfish, all were good the seafood nachos could of been better but cool atmosphere was well received. Would go back and try something else

Car detailing service
Kennedy's Recon & Detailing is a top-notch choice for those who appreciate quality car care. The owner, Kolby, ensures a professional and informative experience from drop-off to pick-up. Customers have been impressed with the outstanding results, noting that their vehicles looked better than showroom quality after the full detail service. The team's attention to detail is evident as they thoroughly clean every nook and cranny of the vehicle, leaving it looking like new again.
Kennedy's is a must if you like quality work. First off I drive a 2020 Cadillac CT6. Its a deep charcoal metallic, and it is a beautiful color....when it's clean ☹️ So I scheduled an appt. for a full detail. From drop off to pick up, A to Z. I felt comfortable. Kolby, the owner, was professional and very informative on all the work he was going to do. He definitely lived up to it. When I picked up my car I was in awe!! It was better than show room quailty. My 3 yr old baby was new again!! Do yourself a favor and setup an appt. ASAP. I already set up an appt for my 2023 Silverado.

The company has a rich history, having operated as a restaurant with a hidden speakeasy during the Prohibition era. Clients have praised the company for their exceptional service, particularly in restoring century-old houses to their authentic historical appearance. Huber's Construction Co Inc is highly regarded for its dedication to preserving the past and delivering top-notch construction services.
I used them because of the same last name, made a great choice!!! Went above and beyond to make the 100 year old house look authentic as it did in the past. I don’t think I could’ve found anyone better, thank you fellow Huber’s!
Michael R — Google review
House construction was ok, but roofer (Mike Smith) out of Natchez totally screwed my roof up. I spent extra for standing seam metal roof, but the install was not very good. So here I am 10 years or so later. I have another roofer ripping off my metal roof, replacing rotted decking, and installing a new roof.

Historical landmark
Nestled in the heart of Natchez, Mississippi, the Birthplace of Jackson State University Historical Marker commemorates a significant chapter in educational history. Established in 1877 within the walls of what was once a U.S. Marine Hospital, this site marks the origins of Jackson State University, initially known as Natchez Seminary. The institution was founded through the collaborative efforts of the American Baptist Home Mission Society and local Baptist associations under the leadership of H.P. Jacobs.
In 2019 a historical marker was located right outside the Natchez City Cemetery for the founding of the Jackson State University. It sits a bit away from the entrance and is probably easily overlooked. It reads: "Jackson State University was founded here in 1877 in the former U.S. Marine Hospital. Known as the Natchez Seminary, the school was founded by the American Baptist Home Mission Society and the Mississippi Baptist Convention Association led by H.P. Jacobs. Dr. Charles Ayer was the first president, beginning with twenty students. Inman Page was the first African American faculty member. In 1883 the college was relocated to Jackson due to yellow fever in Natchez. The name was changed to Jackson College and in 1974 became Jackson State University."

Bar & grill
Bowie's Rabbit Hole is a popular drinking establishment in Downtown Natchez, known for its laid-back and fun atmosphere. Visitors have raved about the friendly staff, great music, and delicious bar fare style food. The bartenders are highly praised for their excellent service and skill in making drinks. Customers have particularly enjoyed the Chicken Quesadilla, Loaded Curly Fries, Spicy Steak Sando, Steak Quesadillas, and Coco Shrimps with an amazing sauce.
We actually ended up here both nights of our weekend trip. We chose Natchez as our halfway point to meet some out of town friends over the weekend and Bowie’s provided exactly what we needed with its great environment. The food was great and the drinks were even better. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. It’s the perfect whole in the wall with antique flare (and I absolutely loved the subtle Alice in Wonderland theme). The view of the river is also unmatched. This will definitely be a must do on our list for our next trip!

I enjoyed my visit here. They have a spacious bar and seating area and it is located a short walk from the Natchez Grand Hotel. They had a large group come in before us so I appreciated our server acknowledging us and letting us know there would be a slight delay getting to us. Once that group was situated, we were taken care of. The bar has around a dozen beers on tap, most are craft brews. I had the fried catfish for dinner. The fish was fried perfectly, moist and the seasoned coating tasted quite good. The fries were also very good. Crispy, not soggy. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

This cute spot is right on the water. Great historic building with a warehouse vibe. They had live music (cover charge after 9pm). The burger and loaded fries were awesome! Service was quick and food was hot. Will definitely return!

you’re ever in Natchez, do yourself a favor and stop by Bowie’s Rabbit Hole! Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while — super clean place, cool vibe, and the staff were all genuinely kind and welcoming. The food? 🔥 ✅ The chicken sliders were packed with flavor ✅ The coconut shrimp hit the spot ✅ The fried green tomatoes were next level ✅ And the margarita? Perfectly done It’s a hidden gem right by the river walk — whether you’re a local or just passing through, make this a stop on your list. #BowiesRabbitHole #NatchezEats #GreatVibesGreatFood #SupportLocal #God #GodsLove

We picked this stop just randomly as we were passing by. We were greeted with the nicest host and sat at the bar. Our bartender was so nice the whole time! He made the best drinks and gave jelly shots as we listened to the live band that night. We ordered some food while waiting - Chicken Quesadilla and Loaded Curly Fries. My husband said that was the best quesadilla he’s ever eaten. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly employees, and good music.

NOT HAPPY HOUR. We came for happy hour, which they state is 1/2 off beer and rail drinks. As you can see, we were charged full price for Coors Light. When we asked, the bartender checked with someone and we were told the$4 was the 1/2 price. Huh, not in my world.

Really good place in downtown Natchez. Right across from bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Good entertainment on Fri/Sat evenings (especially Band Interrupted). Servers are really good and friendly. Stays open till midnight Fri & Sat, but kitchen closes at 9 pm. They are open for lunch. Good food, Chicken Parmesan sandwich is so yummy. Well worth the visit.

We just randomly passed this restaurant as we are visiting the area and went in not knowing what to expect. My husband and 2 dogs were welcomed to the comfortable patio. We were waited on by Skyler who gave excellent service and was a remarkable young man whom we were glad to have met. The cook, Roderick, came out and we were able to meet this amazing man who cooked our delicious dinner and sat and spoke to us as friends. We left feeling so glad that we came to this restaurant. We were full on delicious food. And we were above impressed with the staff and their hospitality and eagerness to be friendly and provide a great experience. Thank you Skyler and Roderick.
