In town for work project and tried this spot. Very spacious place with tvs and bar. The Cuban is not a true Cuban but it was good. The burger was good. The Old Fashioned was meh but my husband enjoyed his Jack & 7. I can see this being THE spot for college football watching.

The bridge crossing from our hotel alone was worth the effort to go here. Many beer options. A little strange for a first timer. They don't really tell you that ordering food at the bar is separate and you have to walk to the wall. Didn't love that. You were left figuring things out on your own. Overall we had a good food there and people were friendly. Typical bar food. Good enough with the beer.

Great brew selection. Bartender knows her beer but she a bit…salty. Still made a really good Bloody Mary for us even though I get the since she just wants to talk/pour beer. We didn’t eat so can’t speak for that. Pub atmosphere. I imagine it gets a young crowd but we went daytime so it was slow.

Super cool pub & cool college town vibes for sure. However, kitchen man was a human storm cloud wasn’t too friendly and also the food wasn’t great. Hot yes, seasoned & fulfilling not at all. Gentleman behind the bar was great and helped us out for sure. In this place’s defense, it is a pub after all so I’m not judging hard on drinks or whatever else. Just came to town to visit w/ our dog and didn’t enjoy it nor felt welcome 🤷🏼‍♂️

It wasn't like it used to be. Six years ago in was FANTASTIC! The Philly Cheese Steak was juicy and wonderful! This time, they don't even have waitresses...you basically wait on yourself and we literally had to call to place our order to go because I stood in line at the cooks order window for at least 10 minutes. The sandwiches were dry, the onion rings weren't cooked long enough. The four Bloody Mary's we had were very good, but the whole trip was not worth the money.

Really cool place, allows dogs inside which is awesome on hot days. Got the Cuban sandwich, onion rings, and classic burger with a clean burger patty for our fur baby. Food was good not amazing but good and it went well with the beer, had two milk stouts and a brown all from Louisiana breweries. They were each pretty good but preferred the Brown from Low Down Brewery. Sorry for the lack of good discription was in a hurry on a long drive back to Florida. 4 stars for the food being typical bar food but the beer menu is extensive but over run with sours and Ipa's. Really nice out door and "lounge" type area.

$30 for wings and a pint. The wings were the smallest I’ve ever seen in my life, and at $20 the most expensive food item on the menu. They must have come from a shipment of chicks from Tractor Supply Company. I could have fit all of them in my side of ranch. Bartender was nice though. The guy making food that you have to interact with was a mute and looked miserable to be there. Luckily there’s lots of great places for wings and a pint!

It was a great place. There was a full house. The only thing I didn’t like was that I paid for certain seats and once we arrived there were no seats available. We had to stand up for the entire comedy show.

Sound was good. Security good inside and outside Al’s very friendly. The place was way overcrowded. They pack people in the place. I’m older and don’t like being squeezed into a space like a sardine in a can. We had a table on the main level. We couldn’t see the stage due to people standing up between the tables. I kept getting bumped into the whole night while sitting at our table. They should have security or do something to keep the crowd from pushing around the tables. If you’re in the table area you should have to sit down or move on. Tables have to be reserved and they’re not cheap. If you go, get a table above the main level along the rail. Women were lined up halfway across the place at one time waiting to use the bathroom. Men’s room no problem. Lol, Good luck

Great venue with great bands and great sound!! Would highly recommend catching a show here. The crowd is diverse and adults of all ages.

Great place but it is not set up for disabled people in wheelchairs!!! And the gentleman state he has been there 20 years and never a complaint. But this was a shocker 🙄 disabled people would love to come and enjoy the music as well.

Went to see John Foster, big place, enjoyed concert

I went to see a heavy Metal Concert it was the "Bomb". The light show was awesome. First time going to Texas Club, I will be back again. Lots of elbow room also.

I had went to the Texas Club for the first time ever and saw Wayne Toups. It was an awesome show! The sound was great and Mr. Wayne Toups put on an amazing show. The staff were really nice. Especially, Ashley the bartender, she was very polite and helpful and attentive. Also, the security team there was the absolute best I've personally ever seen. They were always attentive and quick to resolve any problems with any rowdy patrons. I never saw any security on their phones they were always watching the crowd which made me feel very safe. Then at closing time the security outside escorted my mom and I to our car even though we parked right up front. Which as women made us feel very safe. So yeah the entire staff is amazing. I can't wait to go back for the Lauren Lee band 💗😁

A go to place on a Sunday for brunch or a Monday if you want to participate in 2 for 1 drinks! The Bartenders are mainly the reason this place is so good! S/o Tim

Great place for a drink. Excellent cocktails and selection. Food is okay but definitely not a highlight. That's why the 3* food rating but the drinks are definitely 5* Came here on a date almost a year ago and again on a date last weekend. Originally came here bc this was in an article for best place to get drinks in BR list. Definitely not disappointed. The drinks and cocktails are great you can tell there's a mixologist that understands ingredients. There's plenty of selection in beers and various types of alcohol in the bottle. The place is slightly on the small side and parking is limited and will most likely require u to park in other areas to come over. However they are open late and make it a cool hole in the wall spot to go to have have some drinks with friends or on a date

This place has the potential to be 5 stars but the cleanliness of this establishment is not up to par. Let’s start with the pros: Service is good, drinks are good. Food is good. I wanted to order more but after seeing that bathroom we asked for the check and left. Now for the cons: Bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Windows are filthy and neglected. Drinkware is not being cleaned properly. The glass they put my drink in looked like it had only been rinsed.

I have always wanted to eat at Olive or Twist and just got a new promotion on my job. My significant other suggested Outback but I wasn’t too hungry and decided to come here. We walked in and ww were not sure if we needed to wait to be seated or not. We walked to a table and it said to order from the bar. We proceeded to go to the bar where the workers were all dressed in cute overalls that were very unique. The problem was we were never greeted by anyone. We sat and looked at the menu but still no one greeted us. Finally a young lady walked right up next to where we were was greeted and placed an order. My friend hen cared for the waiter nicely so that we can place an order and he stated he was coming and proceeded to help someone else. Needless to say I was crushed. This place was on my places to eat list and it was ruined. We ended up going to Ichiban where the service and food was great and will go to Ruth Chris this weekend where the service and food is always exceptional.

I’m visiting from out of town and was told the brunch here was unmatched. William and Austin took care of us at the bar and even made us this cute little lemon head. Also, for my expresso martinis lovers, William POPPED OFF. Look at this presentation! I recommend this place 10/10 and will be back. Also, food was delicious.

Absolutely amazing experience. Bartender was very friendly and helpful (wish I got his name). Even though this was my first time coming in, he made it feel as though I was a regular. I arrived for happy hour on a Tuesday afternoon/evening. Wasn’t too packed but mostly everyone sat at the bar. The bartender informed me of the happy hour deals including food, drinks on the menu and on the “Happy Hour,” board. I ordered the French 75, bramble and a black, blue and bacon burger. So delicious! The blue cheese is not like anything I’ve ever had before. It’s thick but not too much and very flavorful. Fries are seasoned very well and the ketchup kind up taste like it’s mixed with hot sauce with a subtle amount of spice.

An experience. The appetizers came out and were fantastic as was the first round of drinks. Things started going downhill after. For a Saturday night at about 8pm they were out of drink ingredients?!? I found that strange but the inability to order due to certain items also being out of stock. The Sam's Club french fries were as expected but the plastic fork just made the experience everything I knew this was going to be. The eclectic collection of barware that trickled to the table is reminiscent of the donated glassware from your grandparents at the Goodwill. The portions are extremely small, the flavor was basic. Cocktails were the best part, but nothing to make a detour to go see.

I stopped into Hayride Scandal since it was just a few minutes from my hotel and had good reviews for cocktails. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the hype. The bar itself has a cool vibe, but the staff seemed more focused on chatting at the back of the bar than paying attention to guests. I ordered an Old Fashioned and was really disappointed — it was one of the weakest I’ve had. One odd detail: there was literally a pot of chili sitting on the bar with a heating element, and people would just come up and serve themselves bowls. It seemed to be a local favorite, but it definitely caught me off guard, especially in a cocktail-forward bar. Overall, this felt more like a hometown hangout than a true cocktail spot, and the experience left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back.

We were going get a few drinks at this place and take some selfies because they have beautiful decors. We didn’t even sit down for five minutes and one of the bartenders came and rudely told us she’ll let the pictures slide and we have to go order something now. As if we weren’t gonna order once we settle down since it’s our first time checking the place out. So immediately bad vibes and we left. Would not support a business if we couldn’t feel welcomed

Met a friend there…she insisted I check with his place out because I would love the aesthetic. Let me say, she was right! Stopped in and sat at bar. What a cozy place. Great atmosphere, along with festively done right and tastefully. We chatted at the bar, with a delicious Old Fashion. Had some of the Happy Hour gumbo, which was actually pretty great, too. Loved our bar tender, as well. Not bad for a quick stop for a drink. If I’m ever in town again, this is a definite stop for me

I went here on a Wednesday night on a date and it was such a cozy and nostalgic experience. The drink selection is amazing as well as the jazz music that carries along in your background. I’m definitely going to be back here sooner than soon.

This place has phenomenal aesthetic and cozy corners! Great place to grab a drink and linger over conversation. The lighting is moody. There’s many seating areas that you can socialize or find an intimate spot. The one downside is that it’s drinks only. Bar bites would be a great addition.

HS has that speakeasy feel but it's in plain sight. The service and cocktails were spot on and the furnishings were very comfortable. Our group of 4 had no problem getting seats at 7:30 but within the hour the lounge was starting to fill up.

Ate dinner here late on a Friday evening. The restaurant wasn't too busy but there was a decent crowd. I got the soup and salad. The shrimp and corn soup was excellent. They have a pretty lengthy beer menu. You are sure to find something you like. Have been coming here for many years and we'll continue to do so.

Great food and selection Leans toward brewery food with a cajun twist fish gumbo was excellent so we're fried catfish and shrimp shrimp and grits... the star was the sauce and fried grit ball!! located steps from LSU campus This location would be packed crowded during school and football season! Kevin was our waiter on the rooftop deck for dinner. We had a group of 7 from Boston who never ate Louisiana fare before, so Kevin brought us samples and we were able to place a few orders of appetizers and get meals to share and everyone loved it! He made this a great experience for us and we appreciate that. The food was just as good as the service.

The Chimes was one of the places that was recommended to me by locals. The service was great. Oscar made me the perfect long Island tea. He also recommended the shrimp po boy with spicy mayonnaise. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend The Chives to anyone visiting Baton Rouge. Love the atmosphere, too.

We rented Blend for my daughter's graduation dinner. Everything about the experience was perfect. The food was fresh and delicious. The wine was perfect. The staff was pleasant and professional. Most of all, the atmosphere was top-tier. I would recommend Blend for any private event.

Atmosphere. Atmosphere. Atmosphere! You’ve got to visit this place! Especially during the Holidays. It’s an almost hidden gem. Downtown a couple of blocks from the busy 3rd Street. The drinks are strong and consistently spot B on. Excellent Wine Selection. I cannot rate the daytime menu or entrees be area my band plays private parties here. When mainly snacks and hors d’oeuvres are served. But if the snacks are any indication. The food must be very good. I’ll have the come back during lunch and try it out. It has an upstairs with living room-type furniture for private conversations. The lights are dark and very photogenic. It’s just a very cozy warm place to hang out. I love this place.

Beautiful place for Happy Hour! Tables downstairs plus the bar area. Upstairs has couch areas which are great for visiting comfortably! The service is excellent, and the food is really really delicious considering this is a bar. It's not a place for dinner. A great place for apps and drinks!

My girlfriend and I drove in from Houston for a concert at the River Center and decided light bites and wine would be a good way to spend some time before doors opened. Atmosphere: In an old building that has been perfectly restored while maintaining its aged look. Wasn't too crowded an hour into it opening and was quiet enough to feel intimate and enjoy conversation. Service: Scott, the sommelier was fantastic. He asked about what type of wine we enjoyed and recommended a few bottles or we could leave it up to him to pair us with something. We opted to put our trust in him and we are so glad we did, I told him a budget of about $70 and upon review of the tab our bottle was $75 which is a perfect compromise in going just over the budget. Food: We ordered the lamb meatballs and the caprese flatbread and both were fantastic. Meatballs were so flavorful and perfectly cooked! The flatbread had a nice balsamic drizzle that was not too sweet and complimented the rest of the flatbread nicely. We will absolutely be back if in Baton Rouge again.

Went here with a girlfriend, both of us are from out of town and cancelled our original plans wanting a more casual night. This was the PERFECT CHOICE. The naan is a must try and the hummus was SO rich and lovely. Great flavors for wine pairings. Absolutely recommend! Come here!

Cameron was an excellent waiter. The food portions are on the smaller side but my partner and I are very petite so we did not mind. We had the Crawfish Pimento dip and when I tell you it was off the chain! We also tried the Hummus and enjoyed that as well. I am an avid French 75 drinker and I think the one I had at Blend was the best one I have ever had! Cant wait to visit again ✨

Hey hey hey, what can I say? This place was most excellent! My friends and I met here for a going away gathering. One of our friends was moving to another state, and we wanted a fun and memorable moment. Well, we definitely got that! The drinks were fun, tasty, and beautiful. We decided to play the games available. We had a spectacular time. The atmosphere is perfect, with wide open spaces. You can choose between hanging inside or outside, both are great. Easy access to the bar and places to sit. There was a vendor outside. My sister and I ordered snow dogs. Delicious! I heard you can choose the jukebox songs online. I didn't experience that, but would next time I visit because I will be back!

We currently live in New Orleans but wanted to get out of the city for a few hours. After dinner we were looking for somewhere to chill and just chat and found this place. The customer service was awesome, the music was pretty decent, and the patrons were pleasant. There was an outside seating area that was super cute. If I ever go back to BR, I will definitely go here!! I recommend for sure!

Cool bar with an occasional guest chef with a Blackstone griddle, but usually no food. Bar tenders know what they are doing. Can get a little backed up on Sunday afternoons.

I’ve been to a public show here years ago and had an amazing experience. However, a friend mentioned to me that you can do private events. I tried to reach out repeatedly in multiple forms including email, phone call, messaging social medias, emailing chimes next door to inquire about hosting a wedding reception there. After a month of no response, I moved on. I guess I wouldn’t want someone like that running my wedding anyways….

Had a great time! The Molly Ringwalds put on a great show and we were a good sized group of friends. Bartender was very efficient on the second level where we hung out for a birthday party and live music! Definitely still reminiscent of back in the day.... although back in the school days could have sworn it was bigger. Great place to meet up with friends for drinks and hang out!

Recently went here for Tank and the Bangas performance. The crew that worked here were really nice. The bartenders were attentive and nice. The facility is well ventilated for smokers and non smokers. I want to point out that I had two charges on my account from them. I recognized one and not the other. I reached out to management and he resolved the issue quickly and politely. Shout out to Brent McLellan! I really appreciate the great customer service and I'll definitely be back for another show.

Could benefit from some small ramps for wheelchair access inside. But overall a good space. Went for Astrology on tap and enjoyed the speakers and large screen. Chimes had a nice selection of drinks and the food smelled wonderful.

Small parking in rear of theater, get there early and find a spot. Good audio and lighting. Bartenders were fast and friendly. A lot of seating available.

Been here so many times before. I guess a lot has changed. Sat at the bar for 30 min with no service then arched two people who just walked up call to the bartender and get served. I’m out. Enjoy.

Didn't know it was a gay bar when I went in........nevertheless everyone was friendly and down to earth. Great environment, great crowd, and great bartenders never an empty bottle if you don't want 1. The bartenders were on point, and everyone was super friendly.

We held my daughters gender reveal in the large private bar room area on Nov 20th. We got a great deal on it for the afternoon from the manager. The room was perfect! It was not only decorated for the season but it was so very neat & clean. The new parents to be used the stage area for the big moment & there were plenty chairs/tables for everyone. All employees were accommodating and professional. Times are hard, so we are beyond grateful that they gave us a spectacular deal on use of this space. Family & friends for both mom & dad to be were able to find out at the same time that ITS A BOY!!

Came in Saturday night and had a great time! Hailey was so helpful and quick with serving us. She remembered our drinks so our cups were never empty despite the packed out bar. So many things to look at also inside the bar!

Dress code is enforced , was denied access due to a sleeveless shirt in the midst of spooky season by the front door host. No shirts were available for purchase at the bar. This would have been excusable had their website stated a dress code is enforced . Its a shame .

Walked in - sat down for ten minutes watched every bartender walk by me, then Joelle Saw me and I swear to god she saved this whole review. She was so kind and so awesome I was happy to have her as my bartender she got all my drinks so quickly and is just the bomb.com ! It’s was clearly a sign!

I didn't know what to expect of this place, but it was a lot of fun. My buddy rented out a room for his 40th birthday party and had a karaoke DJ. Bartenders were attentive and the drinks good. Everyone was friendly and I'll likely go back again.

I'm giving The Station Bar and Grill five stars because they do exactly what they are supposed to do. We had an excellent selection of draft beer to choose from including the local favorites. Although no frozen drinks were available, the mixed drinks were correctly made and tasted great. We got there for $6 burgers and free comedy on a Wednesday and were slightly dismayed to find a headliner with a $15 entry... but that ended up being well worth it. The $6 burgers were phenomenal and would be at their regular price too. Can't wait to go back again, but think I'll wait for the next headline show, because that put the whole experience over the top. One last note... they call themselves a bar and grill, but I would clarify that they are more bar than grill. Orders are taken and served at the bar... but don't let that keep you away!

Absolutely stunning! I was in love with the environment! I actually ended up celebrating my 23rd there but unfortunately I went by myself, HOWEVER the ATMOSPHERE and the love I received from the regulars and the staff at Splash was amazing. 10/10 loved it there and they will definitely be seeing more of me 😚

First and foremost: the vibes are great. Only place outside of NOLA in Louisiana where you can dance. The fog is always refreshing and the strobe lights go hard. The drink intensity varies SEVERELY. Some days you can get to the bottom of the glass and find no liquor, others, you drown in it. That sort of thing can be attributed to training and new hires no biggie. THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS THE MUSIC… especially on themed nights. Clubhouse beats are fine for transitions. Not for three to five minutes. More than once a song has transitioned poorly, in the middle of a chorus, or right before a belt and or drop. It absolutely sucks the soul out of the experience and me and my usual group who go tend to stop dancing or idle because of it. As far as the themed night, we just left from the eighties session. While I can understand the “theme” aspect being primarily attributed to the drag performances, how can you advertise it and then play the bare minimum 80’s music before and after the performances? Least to say, the DJ could use serious work.

Went to a drag show recently with some friends! It costs $10 to get in and if you're under 21 they take a thick sharpie and write a big "X" on both of your hands. Employees were friendly and the drag show was wonderful. The only complaints that I can make is that the area of town is lowkey sketchy and there were some creepy old men flirting with the younger people, but honestly that's typical for any club in a college town. I %100 would recommend going when you get the chance, it was a fun experience and I will likely be coming back soon again!

If you think this is a gay club, think again. It's overran by str8 girls and their very judgey boyfriends, undergrads, and people that don't understand or appreciate gay culture/vibes. They occasionally have drag, but if you expecting to be entertained...remember- ITS FOR THE STR8s. Save yourself the money and time and just hit up another bar like Mother's (even then a lil iffy) or just drive to NOLA 🤷🏿‍♂️

Fun dance club with an active crowd and good manager. Cheap drinks but does charge a cover, even if you are over 21. Only suggestion would be letting people over 21 in through a separate line- if you have to pay a cover at least let people buying drinks have priority.

Splash has been a second home to my friends & I! The employees are welcoming & the music is always one point! The drag shows are my personal favorite! If you’re looking for a FUN dance night out this is the place!! 10/10 recommend.

I was groped and followed around the club, when I told the owner and security guard they said “it’s your word vs his”. I was groped while on the dance floor with some friends by some middle aged guy who looked like he was on drugs. I told him to get away. Then he stayed next to me the whole time. Every time I moved he followed me. When I moved to the opposite side of the club, he followed me and was standing still staring at me. I told him to leave me alone. He wouldn’t so I told security. Security came back and said the person that groped me was gay. And said “it’s your word against his and we can’t kick people out because you said he did something”. I told them how uncomfortable I was and how messed up it was that I was groped and followed and they didn’t do anything because the guy said he was gay. I talked to the owner and he reassured me that he wanted everyone to be safe and have fun and that it was not okay. He said he will take care of it. I was upset and stepped outside for 10 minutes. Came back in and the guy who groped me was standing at the bar in the front. I was upset that he did nothing after claiming it wasn’t okay and he would take care of it. I asked the owner what the issue was and he said “it’s your word against his” i said why would I make this up about someone I don’t even know? The owner then went on a five minute rant, pointing his finger in my face, touching my friends and screaming at me. He screamed at me for about a minute about how much money he had lost during Covid. I got my phone out to record it bc of how aggressive and rude he was being towards me. Unfortunately I can’t post videos. But he told me to go to Reggie’s and see how I’m treated there. Then said “there’s the door go” but claimed he wasn’t kicking me out. Then he asked security to escort us out. So he couldn’t kick out 1 person for groping me. But kicked out me and my 9 friends. Splash is supposed to be a LGBTQ+ friendly place, but they let someone grope me and did nothing because he said he was gay. Was so humiliating and scary. Worst experience I have had at any bar.

This is a fairly nice place but it's seemed a little over priced for a Mexican restaurant and service was kinda uncertain but come time to pay for the meal it was very unorganized, but with a group of 20 and each one trying to pay for their own can get confusing but the waiter kept giving me someone else's bill even after I told him what I had 3 times( taco salad with shrip and a large bowl of white cheese $50-60 total). Going as a couple or a small group maybe okay but I personally will not be going back to this place. Really wasn't impressed by the place after a 7 hour drive from Arkansas.

This is one of my favorite spots! Always has been. I almost always dine alone. This time was no different! I visited for the first time, last week, wearing my hijab. I was afraid I may not be welcomed. To my delight, I was treated as good as always! I seated myself in my usual spot immediately upon arrival. My waiter was Hannah. She was super sweet & apologized that she didn't get to me sooner. I told her I'd literally just sat down and it was no rush. I asked for salsa & chips & she said she'd bring me a water with my coke. She returned shortly after & I ordered my food. The server brought it out in no time. I was brought a to go box when it was time to leave. & everyone I'd encountered was pleasant, per usual. If you're ever in the area and want a good meal for a nice price, check them out! I no longer drink alcohol, but they have the BEST margaritas ever!!! I only got food of the chips and salsa! Side note: they allow you to swap out the rice & beans with French fries if you ask (although it's not listed or stayed on the menu as an option)!

I have always been a Superior Grill fan. From when I lived in BR in the 90's and was the GM at Bennigan's till now. Atmosphere and Ambiance has always been good. The food is always excellent and the service is better than the competition. Can't go wrong w/ Superior Grill!!

OMG!!! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. This was my first time going and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. A friend and I enjoyed happy hour after work. We loved it. The food was fantastic. The music was great. The entire back of the restaurant was rocking and singing to the music that the band played. Also, no one rushed us out. In fact, they encouraged us to stay for as long as we wanted. And we did. If you want great food, drinks, music, and fun go to the Superior Bar and Grill Mid-City. I know I will. 🥳🤗🌮🍹🧉

I have heard of Superior Grill but had never been. I'm so glad we opted for Mexican on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge! The queso and salsa and chips were really good. The steak fajitas are out of this world delicious. And the Cilantro and Jalapeno Margarita was divinely spicy and delicious. The place was crowded but we did not have to wait for a table. Parking was easy and plentiful and the lot was packed. There were three birthdays being celebrated and they have a very fun way of celebrating you on your special day. We will be going back for more fajitas and margaritas!

I have long loved Superior. I had an old friend from out of town so I suggested we meet here for its lively, colorful atmosphere. I found the atmosphere, however, seated against the back wall near the kitchen was not ideal as it is dark and only LOUD. We ordered and our drink was brought immediately. Our appetizer soon followed and then our entree. We had hardly placed our napkins down when our check was presented. We paid and tipped generously- despite not having any warm interaction with waitstaff. 10 minutes after paying, our waitress measly and quite curtly suggested we leave due to " long waitlist". I was appaled. I feel disrespected, degraded and terribly embarrassed. I have been dining out in Baton Rouge for 60 years and NEVER has this happened to me, EVER We occupied the table for 1.25 hours. I caution others, especially older ladies like myself.

This place gives me Papasitos vibes. The building, the white table cloths, nice silverware, and definitely the pricing. Unfortunately that’s as good as it gets. The rice, beans, tortillas, chips and salsa are all very basic. No way this didn’t come off a Sysco truck. I ordered the lunch special Mesquite Fajita. The fajita was actually very tender. No complaints there. But, the mesquite flavor was minimal and barely noticeable. Service was a little disjointed. As nice as the staff was, I’m not seeing a return visit in my future.

I had the Voodoo shrimp and grits. They were delicious! Bacon wrapped shrimp on top was perfect while the cheese grits were a little basics overall, I’d definitely have them again. Etoufe was pretty good too. We were part of a very large party and the service was fast and very friendly. Happily surprised as I’d heard mixed reviews before going.

Typical sports bar and grill. Good food but very pricey for a sports bar. For a few cocktails, an appetizer, burger and entree, my bill exceed $100.. A bit shocking.

This location on the corner of Burbank and Nicholson is very nice and the staff is exceptionally good at customer service. I had the Cheese Fries and Crawfish Etoufee which were delicious. Huge place so seating and parking are more than adequate. Great experience.

Went to Walk-On’s on Burbank and had a great experience. Our server Jacob P. really stood out he set the tone for the whole visit. From the start he was upbeat and welcoming as most gingers are, made my close friends feel at home, and had great recommendations on what to order. We could tell he knew the menu well, and he was quick to share his favorites without being overbearing. Throughout the meal, Jacob was on point drinks never sat empty, food came out a little later than we could expect but Jacob checked in at the perfect times. He even cracked a few jokes with us, which made the experience feel more personal and fun instead of just another dinner out. The food itself was “mid” but honestly, the service from Jacob made the night. When you have someone who actually enjoys what they’re doing and treats you like more than just another table, it makes a difference. JP U ROCK!

Rachel D was awesome! Super friendly, checked on us at all the right times, and made the whole experience really fun. You can tell she actually cares about her customers. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had in a while!

Had the most pleasant dining experience! I was blown away by how attentive and efficient our server Samantha was. She went above and beyond with a smile without being overbearing. Talk about being quick to refill our drinks! Wish I could leave more than 5 stars for her - she is definitely one of the best servers I think we’ve ever had!!

We stopped in for a fantastically informative brewery tour and decided to stay for dinner. The tacos were intense to say the least. We tried a good variety and they were full of flavor and spice! My wife who was hesitant to see the brewery was glad we stayed for the tacos... she already wants to go back again, which will let me get more of that great Tin Roof beer. These two places get it right!

Fantastic brews and the staff were helpful in finding a seat to accommodate my wife. The live music was nice and the place will definitely be on our list for a return visit.

Partook in the Blood Orange IPA and the Santeria Double IPA - both tasty and refreshing, nice juice balance. Staff was great, good spot to swing by in Baton Rouge, and some amazing smelling bbq off a pit smoker in the front. A return in travels shall be had again!

Stopped by here to try some craft beers. I must say, I do not like sour beer but the Uber Froot (blackberry sour) was really good. Juke Joint IPA is my favorite. Not a single beer I sampled was bad, all unique and tasted just as they were described. Friendly people and staff, will definitely come back.

This is a great little brewery in Baton Rouge. Good outdoor deck and seating, and tasty beers. The Heart Shaped Box and the Lemon & Lavender were our favorites but all we tasted were good. Friendly service!

Dropped by to try out the local scene, arriving at what looks like a warehouse with shipping docks. Interior is pretty small with a capacity of maybe 40 people. Bar staff was not very friendly or sociable. As far as beers go, I tried the kettle sour and the IPA. Kettle sour was overwhelmed with a metallic taste and was pretty underwhelming. The IPA smelled and tasted like nothing but pine sap, which actually was pretty nice if that's what you're into. Overall, it was good but I wouldn't repeat either of the beers.

My favorite brewery in Baton Rouge. Great beer selection and they have small batch brews you can not get elsewhere. To go cans are super cheap, starting at $5 per six pack.

Good local craft beers, and good craft beer from abroad. Nice little snack menu and outside seating for you that smoke or vape. They have a pool table and the music can be requested, so no jukebox.

Pretty typical bar food but it’s good. Fried pickles and the Tiger Tea are my favorites , chicken burger is also good!

The new menu is a huge step up! Wings were great but the roast beef po boy was awesome.

Walking distance from the downtown hotels. Perfect spot for an after work drink or quick grub. Awesome place to watch sports with plenty of tvs and outdoor seating. Philly egg rolls were delicious and burger was so so. Fries were great. All in all cool vibe nice staff and service. Definitely recommend.

Great selection of well priced beers on tap, food was surprisingly good as well. We had the chicken club and spicy chicken sandwich. I really enjoy their app, I love that they have the prices of the beer. I dislike restaurants who hide the prices. I personally like to know if I'm buying a $12 or a $5 drink. This place gets 5 stars for being transparent. I also enjoyed the large amount of seating in door and out, pool table and Trent and the rest of the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome.

Come here and meet “Malort Madi,” the most honest and genuine bartender this side of the Mississippi. In all seriousness, she’s awesome and she will sell you Malort. Do it.

Friday night at 630pm and literally 6 people as customers. Bartender very helpful on beers but kitchen cook sitting at the bar and was excited to try food here based on old pictures but totally dead. Front of place makes it look closed. We had beers and went somewhere else for food. Website doesn't even work and looks like they are on their way to closure. Chairs on the tables in the front of the bar and zero vibe.

I’ve been coming to Fred’s for years and usually love the place. The bartenders, music, and atmosphere are all great. Last night, however, I had the single worst experience I’ve ever had at a bar. I was invited to the VIP section by a friend celebrating their birthday, yet the bouncer refused to let me in. I offered to pay cover, but he said he was “told I’m not supposed to come in,” despite the person who invited me literally standing next to him insisting I should be allowed. No attempt to understand the situation, just a flat denial. I’ve never written a negative review before, but this was beyond unprofessional. Honestly, I guess it makes sense. When you’re 30+ years old and overweight working as a bouncer in Baton Rouge, you probably don’t have a lot of control over your own life, so you cling to the tiny bit of authority you get at the entrance. Shallow, empty existence aside, it’s just terrible customer service. That being said, I have nothing but respect for the management at Fred’s. As I said before, I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so. It is recognized nationally for a reason. I would like to say thank you for the excellent service I have experienced thus far, but I would also like to voice my complaint for today, which left a very sour taste in my and my friend’s mouth.

Finally made it for steak at Fred’s on gameday! Family friendly in the mornings/afternoon, steaks were perfectly cooked and a solid base for a long day, and paired with Happy Dad set us up right!

Place to go for after football games!! I will say, it is quite a walk from the stadium, so be prepared for that. Lot of people and great vibes!!

Started with the boudin balls as an appetizer ( well orderd an appetizer which came out with the rest of our order . Bummer! Wife ordered the chicken sandwich with the side of grits. The first bite of chicken sandwich she says it had no flavor . I ordered the sausage biscuit with (honey butter!) and a side of potatoes. Wife did not like the potatoes she mentioned they are dry! Hmm I thought they were pretty good myself had a lil smoky flavor to them . As you can see my biscuit was super dry. I called the waiter over to ask about the SMOKED honey butter , oh I’m sorry we are out of the smoked honey butter ! So here’s a flew slices of lard. Omg a completer horrible experience. Oh almost forgot the boudin balls are amazing came out piping hot a ten in my book ! And the grits were are delicious . The boudin balls and the grits saved the day . Phewww. Complete bummer did we order the wrong things or what. Please explain the long lines.

The bartenders were incredible and very knowledgeable. The music carried the vibe of the earthly environment perfectly and made me feel like I was living in a garden paradise. Truly a place like no other in the greater Baton Rouge area and I have been praising this establishment’s atmosphere for years. The only issue I had was the lack of food options that are suitable for a clientele base that takes their health into account. The drinks, environment, service, and location are awesome but I wish the culinary options included a more plant based audience without forcing us to eat hummus (like EVERY other place) or a leafy green salad (YAWN). Less fried, more grilled, please! Overall amazing experience except the food options.

I came in alone and sat down quietly before anyone else at the bar. Two ladies were working behind the bar and both awkwardly ignored me and only acknowledged the men who entered in DIRECTLY behind me. It was the strangest thing because it was intentional- they deliberately avoided eye contact. I was left seated alone with no acknowledgment. I expected at least a “hi, one moment” or something decent considering I came in alone at 10:50 a.m. The place opens at 10:30. Instead, they ignored me and addressed the guests who came in and sat down after me. Customer service is terrible, so i hope the food is worth it. will not be coming back and will not be recommending this place to anyone. most awkward solo birthday brunch with the weirdest people i have ever experienced.

One of my daughter's favorite local spots. After our visit, I can see why. Really cute garden oasis, complied with great service, food, and drinks. We only planned to stop in for a drink but ended up ordering food as well. If you're a beer fan, they have a large selection of beers with helpful guides to pick your favorite. Would definitely go back and try some other menu items and cocktails!

Courtyard dive with cute bar staff, solid selection of LA draft beers, well constructed shelter roof that covers about 2/3 of the yard, big stage, picnic benches, plastic cups, mixed crowd 30ish. A guy without shirt with friends on a table seemed normal. Overall a tidbit seedy, just what a dive needs.

A very palpable sadness in this bar, cobbled together to try to recapture the allure of the last location but its lacking. Doesn't help that the bartenders are some of, if not the most, unpleasant in town

The most authentic Irish bar in all of Baton Rouge. Sarah the bartender is straight from the motherland. I can't recommend this place enough. Great people and great fun.

Was a cool bar that had been there for many years. Sister and her husband had the lunch special and said it was really good. Her husband had his and hers too. The bartender was a very social sort and made it a fun place to be.

Great Blues music, dive bar atmosphere. Bartenders have always been quick and friendly. Place has been in town for years and not changed much. I've seen D.K. Harrel there several times and enjoyed myself immensely. Only accept cash if I'm not mistaken, also have a burger night I think. Give them a shot on Government Street.

This place sucks. Charged $10 cover for a band that is awful and beginner. Cash bar only and bad service with no food. Don’t go to this place. Terrible experience.

5 stars across the board. 13 Social has something for everyone. From the great service and social environment at the bar to the chill atmosphere of the secluded back end. Whatever the occasion, you won't regret choosing it. I've had nearly every martini at the bar, and each one is a winner. They've got a great choice of sweet, tart, or classic flavors. We were extremely lucky finding this place. It has quickly become my favorite hangout. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Drinks are amazing and creative. Flavored cocktails are surprisingly similar to the original item flavors. The owner is big on themes, been wonderful each season so far.

Honestly my favorite spot downtown/in BR! Definitely here on a weekly basis; the crew makes you feel at home. They’re very good at remembering familiar faces so it makes you feel so welcome all the time. 11/10 recommend!!

If this is the best bar in Baton Rouge as others claim, I do not know if I would want to go to another. Total dive bar. The place is small and smokey. Everyone in the bar was hammered at 10 PM and making inappropriate comments. Bartender was friendly and energetic. Drinks were cheap. It would be great for poor college students or homeless people.

Still one of my favorite spots in downtown, under the radar kinda place! Never to busy, the bartenders are awesome, and their whiskey selection is pretty big. Great crowd too, never seen any fights or arguments here, good place to meet an old friend and catch up!

Pretty fun place. They host good shows and the drink prices are average. Events claim it's 21+ but there's never anyone at the door to check IDs, so apparently it's an all-ages place. (?!) Bartenders check IDs sometimes. And they sometimes drink with customers/friends, and comp drinks, over serving actual customers. And, while being aware of customers who have been next in line to order for 5 or more minutes will still just take the order of whoever just walked up to the bar. Not at all cool, but whatever. I still like the space. I just won't give any more money to the bar because it's a joke.

Not worth your time or money. I had time to kill before an early evening concert and was asked why I was there?? Bartender acted as if she was very inconvenienced by my presence. They actually charge a $20 "membership fee" to this dive? If you like hanging out with scuzzy zoollienals this is your place. I wish I could give negative zero stars

Lovely little hole in the wall. Dive bar. I can control the jukebox without leaving my sticky high top table (there's an app in case you're wondering). Wonderful drink specials. Even more wonderful bar staff. They are decidedly less sticky than the table. I like that in a bartender.

Went there last night. Just visiting Baton Rouge. We were immediately welcomed just like we were a local. Met some really cool people and had a great time. Wish we had a place like this back home. We will definitely be looking this place up next time we are around.

Horrible place. Went to see one of our favorite bands for a pot luck and 45 min into the band playing, the owner yelled at us for eating the food WE BROUGHT, so we left. As we were leaving he was filling a HUGE to-go plate with a bunch of food his customers brought. Between gas, food, and cover, we spent $100+ to be fussed at by the owner. Will never be back. Total joke.

When it arrives, it’s everything it should be. A plate of ribs that have known patience, given over to time and smoke like some kind of slow Southern prayer. First, the dry rub, deep and knowing. Then the low heat, the long wait, the transformation. Fire at the end, but just enough—because the ribs don’t need to be drowned in sauce. They need to be honored. Potato salad on the side, the cool, starchy pause before the next bite. Slaw, crisp and clean, like a deep breath between sips of sweet tea that drips condensation onto the table. I take my time, because a meal like this isn’t just about eating—it’s about understanding. This is food with history, ribs with a story, and a place where tradition doesn’t just sit in a glass case—it sits next to you at the bar. Billy Cannon frozen in mid-stride, Pistol Pete caught in a flicker of impossible grace, Shaq with that unmistakable grin like a man carrying more than just a team. Some restaurants serve food. TJ Ribs serves memories. And as I walk out into the thick Baton Rouge night, the taste still lingers—smoke, spice, the weight of something done right. Some places fade. Some things get lost. But not here. Here, history isn’t just told. It’s eaten.

Cute spot has lots of space for parties get-togethers or celebrations. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The only downfall would be the white cheese for the macaroni. And cheese, however, the ribs, the catfish, and everything else was fantastic and highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

I have been to this restaurant a lot of times but never have I had a waitress like Gina. She was polite and so attentive. She was the best waitress I have had in a very long time! Thank you for making the dining experience truly an experience as it should be!!! Ask to be seated in Gina's section!

I had a friend coming over to watch the LSU game today. I told her I was going to treat her to some TJ Ribs wings.... went on all day about how delicious they were. I ordered 3 orders and asked for a ranch and blue cheese dip in each. Got home and was so disappointed. Wings were overcooked and dry. Not one box had the dips I requested. None of them had celery either. So I apologized while we choked down my $58.00 purchase. The receipt on the bag clearly stated what I ordered but no one cared enough to get it right. I understand prices have gone up but no excuse for the dried up wings and not getting the order right. Why don't people care anymore?

They no longer offer a rib dish on their lunch menu. Prices are much higher than in the past (yes, all restaurants have raised their prices but theirs are more than most). Our server was clueless. We had to ask several times for simple items that she should have asked if we wanted when she took our order such as condiments for our sandwich which is served dry otherwise and butter for a baked potato that she brought completely bare. The iced tea was the best part of our meal. Although since it was fresh and melted the ice, we had to ask twice for a glass of ice. I will add that the restaurant was virtually empty when we were there so being “busy” cannot be used as an excuse. Our entire table was disappointed that a restaurant we have loved for years was such a let down this time. We will give them another chance due to years of good food and service.

3/7/24 Wake up! Y'all are sleepin on TJ Ribs! Tons of local sports memorabillia including a freaking wall of Shaq! It was so unbelievably cool! So atmosphere is already a 30 and then I swear they had a picture of Pistol Pete too! Went for lunch and Priscilla was an amazing server! I got the smoked wings. How are they the BEST IN TOWN. Cooked to perfection, permeated with deep smoky goodness. Fulton St. Ribs will have you slappin' your debit card repeatedly on the table. I'm not of the "Ribs falling apart are overcooked" crowd. If my Ribs bone don't come out cleaner than St. Peter's soul, I don't want it. Lo and behold, perfection as every single bone was easily drawn out and dropped. Boudin balls. I don't know where they come from, if they're made in house or brought in. They look brought in but they're scrumptious! Carrot souffle gets a 4, only because it was a bit too sweet. Onion Rings were perfectly crisp, and somehow not greasy! Give the kitchen staff a round of applause and a raise because they did that! Lastly, but not at all least, I forgot to ask the name of the hostess. She was so sweet and kind to us. Thank you so much, ma'am!

Came on a recommendation of a friend. Atmosphere and service were top notch. Food was good but not elite. The wedge salad did not have enough blue cheese. The tuna appetizer was excellent. Highly recommended. The hallelujah soft shell crab, which seems like their signature dish was just so-so. Soft shell crab was very fresh but I think they only give you half a soft shell crab. The mashed potatoes doesn't go well with the crab. Perhaps if it came with a crab meat risotto, it would make the dish stand out more. The pecan bread pudding tasted a little stale, dry and it came out mouth burning. They microwaved it a little too long.

Went for the jazz brunch and got the shrimp toast, shrimp and grits and for a cocktail, an expresso martini. Wasn't crazy about the sauce on the shrimp in grits but I wasn't bad. Shrimp toast was great. The martini I never had before so I decided to try today, was pretty good! The atmosphere was awesome👌

We was looking for something a little different and my husband had a taste for fried soft shell crab. We went for lunch so it wasn't to busy, we we're greeted with a smile and very friendly welcome. Our waitress Elaine was so sweet and her recommendation was great. We started with salad a wedge and caesar and appetizers the Crawfish wonton so good. My husband had the Hallelujah crab and I had Redfish Adrian it was good but they could keep the mushrooms and add a little more sauce, I did have a tast of my husband's crab PEFECT. All in all everything was delicious and good definitely will try again for dinner. Again Eleaine did great.

My lobster and Brussel sprouts were very good. My husband said his fish needed seasoning. We ordered the crab beignets as an appetizer and our server forgot to place the order so they arrived agter our entree. She offered us a free dessert but not of our choosing. They gave us bread pudding that neither one of us eat, but they were very nice about it. We ordered the desserts we wanted, since that's what we had planned on doing anyway.

Good food. I had the shrimp aubergine. It was soo good. Their bread puding was not my favorite.

Best BBQ in Louisiana! The crawfish queso was so good, and they serve it with homemade pork skins to scoop it up with, as well as home made crispy fried chips. This place was amazing! Highly recommend if you're driving anywhere near Baton Rouge you stop and give this place a try.

I finally got a chance to eat here and i enjoyed it. The waiter and staff were kind and courteous. The food was seasoned just right, we ordered the blue cheese bib & steak and the brisket burger. Although I enjoyed my salad, I have been craving that brisket burger it was so good I almost tip the cook. The atmosphere was amazing, relaxing, clean environment, they greet you when you enter, say bye when you leave, everyone was smiling and no long faces. I was on a date so this was the right place for it, it can also be a spot to just have time to yourself or me time as I call it. Would I recommend this restaurant YES INDEED.

It was the evening that we were leaving our son at college and we were breaking down crying. Our waitress was amazing. She brought out their best dessert right on time to try and make everyone feel better. This is our second time there and not only is the food and dessert delicious, the service is impeccable.

Had an excellent experience here. Started with the Pork Debris Spring Rolls. So good. Then ordered the City Pork BBQ Platter for the entree. SO much food. Delicious. Didn't eat it all. Leftovers for several days. Would order again. We will definitely come back and try some of the sandwiches next time. Great service and atmosphere here. The music was also good. The Grateful Dead was playing when I walked in.

Had lunch here with family. Food was great! I had the wild boar chile rellano. The staff was so excited about their perfectly cooked egg on top. It was fun. Had the bacon old fashioned - which to be honest - is pretty gimmicky - and I don't care because I got a piece of bacon. The drink was fine otherwise. We had some house chips on the table with some sort of dip that was great too (sorry dont remember the details). Would love to come back another time.

For drinks, we ordered a variety which included espresso martini, lemon drop martini, champagne margarita (table favorite) and blackberry bourbon lemonade. I don’t think you can go wrong on any of the drinks offered. For appetizers, we tried the raw oysters, blue crab claws, tuna tataki, and brussels sprouts. The standouts were definitely the tuna and brussels sprouts—both were outstanding! Even my daughter, who usually avoids raw fish, went back for seconds on the tuna. For entrees, we ordered the brown butter drum, crawfish Mac & cheese, and the tenderloin. The drum was okay—nothing particularly memorable. The crawfish Mac & cheese was amazing-creamy and cheesey! The portion is very generous and can be shared. Unfortunately, my fiancé had to send his tenderloin back as it was overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. While the service and starters were excellent, I found the entrees a bit underwhelming for the price. That said, I would consider coming back just for the tuna, crawfish Mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts, and perhaps to try a different main course.

Business dinner with a colleague seated outside during excellent weather, great atmosphere. Service was ok, not bad but nothing exceptional for a higher end restaurant as the waiter seemed a bit young and inexperienced. I deducted two stars for the food because it was not exceptional, the fried oysters were overly salty and there were bits of oyster shells fried into the cornbread that made me almost chipped my tooth. If it was just one random piece I would not have minded but there were multiple pieces of shell. The beet and arugula salad was good, topped with grilled shrimp. The tiramisu was presented well but the taste left much to be desired as it tasted more like cheesecake.

We had a terrible experience here for dinner! First of all, there were several fruit flies all around the bar and dining area, no matter what section you were in. We ordered the seafood tower and chargrilled oysters and were very disappointed. The seafood tower was extremely underwhelming and not worth the $165 price. The chargrilled oysters were severely overcooked and dry as a bone. You can see in the photo only one oyster had any juice and the rest were DRY and tiny. We came because it was highly recommended but left hungry and disappointed. Only redeeming quality was that our waiter and bartender was great.

I took my wife here for dinner last week. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were hard and sort of dry. My wife had the Hickory Salmon, she actually like the salmon, but the side was bland. I ordered the Crawfish Mac & Cheese (NEVER AGAIN). I was giving Velveeta shells and cheese w/o any flavor! The cheese was watery and the taste was BLAND! I came to here on a Sunday after church for brunch. I can honestly say I’ve never had food so bad in my life. I ordered gumbo, it came out cold and the rice was so gummy they literally just put a gummy ball in the bowl. I also ordered a Cesar salad and it had wilted pink lettuce in it. The waitress brought the manager to the table and I told him to just look at the food. I don’t even understand how they even thought the food was presentable. The service was okay…? The team seemed extremely confused and out of it. They were not rude but could use more coaching on professionalism. Overall, I think this restaurant is focusing more on appearance and ambience rather than food.

Came here for a night cap drink but ended up have a host of plates. Over performed for sure. The crab cakes were the best plate we tried, with real seafood. The burger slapped as well. The patty was great chuck.

Surprisingly good food. Gumbo was the best. Staff attentive and friendly. Clean, quiet area for a nice relaxing meal. Nice choices for breakfast including a fresh berry option instead of mixed fruit which is so often chunks of under-ripe melon.

Everything was truly exceptional. Easily the best steak that I've had in Baton Rouge. Atmosphere is great and service is impeccable.

Halfway decent food but the atmosphere isn’t worthy of it. I'm not even going to dive into the food really because it's irrelevant to how awful the atmosphere and service here is. Honestly, I had a feeling this was going to be a waste of time the second we walked in and drunk idiots were standing and shouting at the top of their lungs at the adjacent bar without being checked by the hotel or restaurant staff. I was right. We arrived at 4:50 for 5:00 reservations. The host table wasn't staffed until ~5 minutes after our reservation so we weren't seated until after our reservation time. He looked bothered that we were there and was not welcoming at all. We only received food menus with no drink menus. Our server asked if we wanted something other than water, but we advised we didn't receive a drink menu so we didn't know. He brought us a tablet with a drink menu on it only after asking and warned that they didn't have everything on the menu without going into specifics. How lovely. We were seated facing the hotel entrance so there were people standing around our table, taking pictures, and having loud conversations. A “date night” place this is not although that’s what it sells itself as. Do not be fooled; it’s an average but extremely overpriced restaurant in the middle of a busy hotel lobby. Seriously, it’s a small seating area cordoned off by stanchions and velvet ropes from the rest of the lobby. It’s not a separate area or anything, so people are coming in with music playing on their phones, loud luggage rolling on the floor, etc. Just terrible. To boot, this was booked as a birthday dinner for my wife and there wasn’t a *single* mention of it from the host or server at any point. I couldn’t have been more disappointed in that. Something so basic just overlooked I suppose. No restaurant worth its salt would ever let that happen. But it’s why we will never return and why I will never recommend this place to anyone for a special event. Ambience here is way, way off and there are better restaurants nearby that do it right. We walked out of here having spent $200+ including tip on 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a dessert, and 3 drinks and we were happier to be leaving than we were to be there. Don't say you weren't warned.

Great experience tonight, bartenders were very friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. The cheese fries were excellent and the beer was ice cold. Crowd was a mix of younger and older people which was refreshing at 54. Large selection of beers on tap and bottled options as well. Lots of pool tables and karaoke was available upstairs, if that's your jam. The only place I know of in town that serves shepherds pie, and it is straight FIYA. Definitely one of the best chill spots in BR.

I had a late lunch here. My mom and I shared the Cajun Creole Pasta and Ceasar Salad, and my dog, Bogart, had a Gobble Gobble Bowl of Roasted Turkey. The pasta was good, I just wish it had some spice to it, and the turkey bowl was just deli turkey, which was a little disappointing. I thought it'd be sliced turkey. But, Bogart seemed to like it. The dog friendly patio was nice.

I found this place as a suggestion on Reddit. We are traveling across the country with 4 dogs. Which includes 2 very yappy and bitty chihuahuas. Needless to say, it has been …an experience. I am so grateful for this place. They food was good, they served nice water in dog bowls to hen dogs, they have a pet menu, and the food was good too. The waitress was so amazing.

The Fish-N-Chips are awesome. My son had the fried shrimp basket and enjoyed. The service was really good and it did not take long to get our food. The price was very reasonable. We will be going back.

The atmosphere is nice. Sometimes, the chatter in the bar area can get kind of loud and chatty, but we sat at one of the back tables, which decreased it some. For the appetizer, we had the lamb lollipops, which were delicious. Entrees were the burger Marriott and the seared scallops. The burger was tasty, and the fries were good. The scallops could've had a touch longer for searing. The risotto was delicious. A great dish in all. The pecan pie was exactly like I like it - more filling than pecans on top. The pecans tasted like they had been roasted, but some had more of a charred taste. All in all, a great dining experience. Would return.

I had an amazing experience at Tallulah Crafted Food and Wine Bar on Monday while staying at the hotel. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and skilled. The drink they made was absolutely delicious, and the extra touch of offering me a bottle of water to take back to my room after I paid the check was greatly appreciated. The food was outstanding as well — the Red Fish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the Hummus was some of the best I’ve had. Hands down one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve visited so far. Highly recommend! EDT: Came back Today for Lamb Lollipops and they were delicious. Different bartenders, but equally amazing service. + awesome Live music most days. Thank You!

The waiter was attentive, the atmosphere was amazing and not too loud. The food was a 5/10. I had the Lollipop Lamb Chops and they were TOUGH. They did not give me a steak knife but they gave me a butter knife which was hard given the lamb chops being really tough. The mash potatoes had great flavoring, I just wish they were creamier. My friend also had the “small plate” wings and they had a bunch of brown sugar on them, they were a bit too sweet.

I've heard great things about this place from friends and was really looking forward to sampling their dishes. Decided to go for restaurant week and was really disappointed in the options on the RW menu. I'm going to give them a second chance to impress as the menu was not based on regular items. I will update my review once I've been back. Fingers crossed.

Just wow! Excellent service, excellent food, beautifully decorated restaurant! I ordered the lemon chop lollipops with chargrilled oysters and truffle chips as an appetizer and the knife and fork grilled cheese for my main entree. It was Excellent! I also ordered the shrimp and corn soup and it wasn't that great, but everything else was top knotch! The start of the show was definitely the Lamb chop lollipops! For drinks I ordered the French 225 and peach bourbon smash, both were good. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. I'll definitely be returning! Worth every penny!

The lamb chops are no longer on the appetizer menu and the chargrilled oysters were overly spiced and cheesed. The soda came from the bar and had a blended flavor from multiple flavor brands coming from the same spigot? I don’t know. I’ll get a red wine next time to fix that.

Enjoyed this breakfast place on my last day in the area. They did a good job of trying to replicate the Cafe Du Monde beignets and the customer service there was good.

We stopped by looking for coffee and ended up finding so much more: delicious food, amazing service, and lots of love for our dog. We ordered the brown sugar cinnamon latte and the avocado toast (both 10/10!). BJ even surprised our pup with a pup cup, which she rated 100/100 since everyone made her feel so loved and comfortable. Thank you for making our morning such a special one!

This is a place to stop when in the Capital District. Walking distance from hotels. Grab a menu and order at the counter to stay in or to-go. Beignets were fresh. There was plenty of coffee options as well as other refreshments. They do have a small food menu for breakfast and lunch items. Highly recommend.

First of all, I ordered a croissant that was dry and hard and clearly has just been sitting out in open container as I saw the employee pull it out from there, secondly, since our order was to go order, it wasn’t until I got in the car and pulled off that I noticed that they gave us empty hard beignets!!!! Which doesn’t make sense since I waited in the restaurant for 20 minutes to get my order and everything was horrible. See pictures attached. This was my first time in Baton Rouge and at this restaurant never again

Nice little cafe plus bar in downtown BTR. Ordered a regular and matcha beignet and it’s soooo gooood!! Cashier was also super friendly and knows their menu. Plenty of seating and parking.

If you are a college-aged person, this place may be a good time. I'm not. I'm 47. With a sore back. And a pinched nerve in my neck. And I went after an LSU football game. I personally did not have a good time, BUT all the kids there, my wife and her friends, appeared to be enjoying themselves. The place was very packed! Watching the dude get knocked out outside was pretty entertaining, but the contest was over WAY too fast. I'm glad I didn't have to pay to watch. I would have been pissed as apparently there was only one fight on the card that night. One redeeming factor involving the "atmosphere" was the scenery. It was a rather cold night for south Louisiana, but the beautiful young ladies that were in attendance did not disappoint! Most braved the cold in some fairly appealing to the eye fashion choices! Did not have an opportunity to sample any menu items or utilize the wait staff service. Giving 4 stars because I'm sure on any other night I probably would have enjoyed myself.

Update 6/18: Just had the burger... With loaded tots... Def amazeballs. My new fav sports bar in Baton Rouge. The staff is great, wings are done well, and atmosphere is what you want when watching sports: people who love the game(s). Highly recommend!

The entrance to this bar feels cramped, but when you go to the back, it's very open and pleasant. The staff are also quite lovely and accommodating. Drink prices are cheap enough and service is quick. The only thing I don't like is the lack of parking around it. I don't think that's something they control, but it was still a bit awkward.

My wife and I rolled in on Sunday morning at 11:20 a.m. The bar was mostly empty. We were greeted promptly and made to feel at home. Danielle (hopefully spelling is correct) was a great host/bar tender. We had a billiard table quickly. The service was great. Drinks were not watered down but very generous on the alcohol. We met some awesome other people and had lunch there (ordered through door dash). No troubles, no worries and we had a great time. Thanks Danielle. Clicks is worth the 50+ mile drive.

I love the vibe but the service sucked we cane in ordered Drinks and food played 2 rounds of pool and it was 5 of us was there for almost 2 hours and we never got the burger and mozzarella sticks that was paid for in cash in advance asked about the food she said it was coming other people got there food but not us Sorry to say that it was my first time there whenever I come back to Baton Rouge to visit I will never stop here to the bartender, you are welcome for the food that we pay for or the money that this company has pocket without their knowledge

Great dive bar only thing is the bartender will take your order then immediately take someone else’s order because they’re friends. Then they forget about you. Then you have to order again. Then they do the same thing again.

For a supposed cocktail bar, my bartender did not have the ingredients or did not know how to make the 2 classic cocktails I ordered. The first, a Sazerac, had lemon juice in it (and likely no absinthe or Herbsaint). The second, a Last Word, had a red cherry liqueur (not a maraschino liqueur) and lime juice for some reason. But service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was great. Not a bar where it's easy to meet new people, but fewer early 20s patrons than other places nearby.

This place is top notch for craft cocktails with a *huge* selection of liquors and liqueurs. Try any of the specialty drinks or go to try a new gin/ scotch/ whiskey. The bartenders are friendly and the place is kept clean, the new outdoors seating is wonderful when the weather is cooler. Didn't try any of the food so can't speak on that but if it's anything like the drinks, it should be worth it.

Friday evening and the place was a ghost town. The bartender was friendly enough, but the atmosphere was non existent and the drinks were pretty over priced. The food was so so, but absolutely not worth the wait. Took over a half hour for a burger and fries. My wife's nacho fries were clearly microwaved so that was pretty disappointing especially considering the wait time. Couldn't even use the busy kitchen excuse because there was a total of maybe 8 people in the whole place. Not really sure how this place has such high reviews. Google Definitely fooled me this time.

I was with my home girl and we were coming to have a good time, turns out there was already a shooting!?! It upset me and my home girl cause we were like "damn!? If you can't go to Bella noche where the hell can you go?"

Went out To smoke a few times. 3rd time coming in she said she had to charge me $10 because I’ve been out so much. Then my girlfriend had some friends come meet us. I mean just saying....can anybody write a halfway decent review about THE CLUB ITSELF? Surely that's the same wedding? Am I right? same wedding. Or is there a wedding fight each night? Anything else reportable?

Nice place with stiff drinks. You need to know the ingredients to a cocktail if you order it. I felt very threatened while there. I had a sly remark that made me feel like I was not welcomed. Not for colored people.

This is one of the Coolest Bars in Baton Rouge. Oh, I mean Lounge. Linda White, the proprietor, and 2020 Spanishtown Queen, shows everybody a great time. There is always a variety of locals there. Great prices on the mixed drinks. Love that place.

Wonderful hole in the wall bar offering a decent selection of liquor. Bottled beer is served ice cold. Multiple TVs, 1 pool table, and digital jukebox. It's the neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name.

A square building with a comfortable patio which leads into a barbeque/smoker area. Features seperate-gender bathrooms amply stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Generous parking area for your vehicle, across the street from other facilities of a varied nature.

The bartender was obviously intoxicated, she couldn't correctly start a TAB for us, and was very directly flirting with my date.. even waited till I went to the bathroom and came around the bar to stand next to, talk, touch and hit on him some more. Rude rude rude.

Showed up for kareoke june 2nd 2023. Perfect place to sing. Everyone was friendly and some folks even came up and sang with me! Played a few games of pool as well. 10/10 I'll definitely be back. Thanks for having me guys. 🤘✌️

If you're looking for a place you can feel comfortable in especially if you don't get out much, it's the perfect place. They have live music, karaoke fridays & always a friendly atmosphere. The owner introduces himself to everyone personally & makes u feel like you've been going there for years. It's mostly a 40+ small but great crowd. I think this place is the best kept secret in Baton Rouge.

I had a fantastic time at R&R! I sort of happened upon the lounge by accident and didn't regret it. The crowd was friendly and treated everyone like a long lost friend. There was a live band when I went and they put on a fantastic show!

A very cool place to hang out and drink (bring a sweater). If you like alcohol. It's got an outside hangout area in the back. An overflowing ice machine extra chill. Ducked off from Florida Blvd so you feel safe plus it's a good vibe place. I'm a little bias my sister works the bar. Sometimes they have karaoke and other nights live music. On a chill night there is always the jukebox you control.

We were in town for the TN vs LSU game and were lucky enough to find this gem, the bartender Connie and patrons welcomed us like regulars. Awesome local dive..

I was there for only my second time tonight and gotta tell you something. Never in my life have had so much fun in all my life . It was my birthday and the patrons were sui nice and really made me feel wanted an appreciated. Got to sing thee songs and people were wanting me to come back, I'm no5 use to thi kind of hospitality . I like that.i will be by returning next get night! I guarantee it. Clean, stylish, colorful. The rainbow hallway is photoshoot worthy, the disco ball and mirrored walls echo a 70’s vibe while the music and projector screen bring you right into the moment. Montana was incredibly friendly behind the bar and made this centrally located downtown bar extremely inviting. A unexpected gem for a visitor.

It’s officially pride month and I checked out Mother’s lounge for the 1st time this past Sunday! I’ve lived in BR for the past 2 years and didn’t even know this place existed! Thank goodness for the internets! 🥳 I was welcomed by a chill crowd and a friendly staff! The people were busy minding their own business and giving much focus to getting their name on the list to showcase their karaoke skills! I met some awesome people and look forward to going again!

Fun place, nice staff, and good drinks. The food menu did change, they currently only offer some bar snack options like fries and chicken fingers - not the food menu that is posted on their listing. If we knew that we would have had dinner before going.

Love the atmosphere, all of the bartenders I’ve encountered are super polite. And I love going here because this is one of the few places in Baton Rouge that mix the daiquiri flavors together. Every where else layers it which makes no sense to me. lol and the shots a definitely TRUE TO SIZE. 10/10

A great neighborhood bar and daiquiri shop. Friendly staff, great selection of daiquiris. A really awesome place to chill and unwind.

At location for 1730 hrs. For me, the experience was neutral. Bartender was wrapped up in conversation with regulars before she could take my order. Drink I ordered was advertised for $6 on wall and I was charged $6.50. Clean location. Drink was run of the mill. Not a rowdy place at this hour. Glad I was able to experience a locally ran business but there is nothing bringing me back

Really good daiquiris. I'd never heard of this place and went there on a whim with it being closer to my home than any of the other daiquiri shops in Baton Rouge. Customer service is awesome. It smells super weird in there sometimes, but it's all good, I'm usually in and out.

We were in Baton Rouge for a girls weekend. We found this place. Had great drinks and very friendly bartender. We made two trips there before we went home. Great place!!!! We just recommended it to another couple of friends visiting Baton Rouge.

I am so pleased with my delicious fudgesickle daquiri!! My husband went in to order and he said she knew another Megan Johnson I'm like that is crazy!! I'm not sure if she had the "H" in her name lol! But very cool!! Great daquiris & amazing customer service!! They were so sweet answering the phone too!! Favorite place on LSU's campus to go to to hang out with friends and have a good time. Staff is amazing and always very friendly and on top of things. Definitely the cleanest, nicest bar in Tigerland. Highly recommend visiting if you are in town or a student at LSU.

I've never been here, but I've seen loads of people exit this establishment, after having successfully achieving drunkenness. It's one of 5 fungible bars in LSU's dirty, dense bar strip, Tigerland, a mecca for college students on the weekend. No other place in Baton Rouge is livelier at night. Probably a great spot to meet people you'd rather sleep with than talk to. And if it sucks, you can always just check out the scene at the bars nextdoor.

Better than Reggie’s but still trash.They don’t pick up their garbage or clean up after game days. Plastic and styrofoam left all over the lot ends up in Bayou Fountain which runs through South Baton Rouge. Bad enough they serve to minors but they also pollute our neighborhood.

The service is amazing, the food is top notch, and the beer is always cold. The atmosphere after the new renovation makes it the go to place to go to relax in BR now.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my experience at your establishment. Last night, we returned a wallet to the manager and, by fate, encountered the ladies to whom the wallet belonged later that evening. We all went back to retrieve the wallet together. Upon our arrival, we spoke with the same security personnel who were at the door earlier. Unfortunately, during this interaction, David Facey approached us with a confrontational attitude. This encounter was quite surprising, as I did not expect to experience such unprofessional behavior. Rather than assisting us, he engaged in a heated exchange that was both unnecessary and upsetting. I would like to commend the security gentlemen who handled the situation with professionalism and understanding. They took the time to make a phone call to retrieve the wallet, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I hope that future interactions will reflect a higher standard of professionalism.

Order a makers maker and ginger ale and got charged for a maker's and whiskey sour. Happened to many people. Plus a 20% tip that was added. Coke and sprite are free but ginger ale is $4

Club Violent was a total vibe! The atmosphere was unmatched, and the energy was everything I was looking for. The bartender service? 10/10—absolutely perfect. A place I’ll continue to keep going.

Staff is very friendly, great place to meet go with friends. The drinks are pricey but that is everywhere on 3rd street. They have a great patio area as well.
