My wife and I were visiting and told the food and atmosphere was worth going to the roof top. In was very busy, but every staff member took their time out to greet us, as we waited for a table. I had the filet smothered in crayfish tails/sauce, blackened green beans, garlic smashed potatoes, and grilled Cajun shrimp. When I say, "The steak was a top 5 best steak I've ever had", I really do mean it! It was flavorful, melt in your mouth tender, and the crayfish sauce was divine. All sides were delicious as well. However, the shrimp was slightly overcooked (dry). I didn't mind one bit because my taste buds were reaping the benefits of the delectable steak. My wife really enjoyed the large Caesar salad w/ grilled chicken. Nick (our waiter), was great and took care of us throughout the evening. He even talked me into giving the Chef special a try.....thanks Nick! All-In-All, we were very impressed and enjoyed the breathtaking view of Vicksburg and the sun setting over the mighty Mississippi. We will come back!!

Absolutely loved it, a shout-out to Christine, our waitress. You can't beat the view and alone worth the stop, but the food was delicious and appropriate for the sports bar/grill it is. Besides a great menu with lots of choice, they will basically fix anything you want, any way you want, as long as they have the ingredients. It doesn't get any better than that no matter where you go. The place has tons of seating and various views over the city and river, and very family friendly. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love love love that I decided to bring my husband here for brunch. The food 10/10 I do recommend. My server was very friendly she helped me find a nice drink that i definitely enjoyed.i had the blacken catfish with parmesan grits and a kool-Aid to drink. The VIEW was a vibe we enjoyed the drinks as well. Most definitely will be back!!!

We stopped by for a few drinks before looking around downtown. Very cool restaurant with an amazing view. Would have been nicer but our server was rude, I guess because we were just having a few drinks in his section... Not sure. Anyways take note as they charged gratuity since we were only drinking at a table. Food looked good from what I saw, my old fashion was ok.

Anytime you're traveling through Vicksburg, this is a must visit restaurant. Keep in mind they're not open on Mondays. The free appetizers of garlic, salted pretzels and honey mustard really sets the mood for a beautiful sunset and a wonderful meal. The parmesan grits are amazing! Don't forget they're deadly double chocolate bread pudding is a must-have as well.

Great service, delicious food, amazing views. Chris was a very knowledgeable friendly server, providing excellent service. The food was perfect, and arrived quickly. It was nice to sit and enjoy the views of the city from above and catch up with family. Our first visit, but we will return soon.

Came here on a recommendation from a trusted local. Rusty's is a very good seafood restaurant with great staff and an inviting atmosphere. Parking is easy. The restaurant was very busy but we only had a couple minute wait. The menu is filled with great items but I opted for the specialty - a blackened grouper fillet with a Creole sauce. Terrific combination. My spouse picked the grilled tuna which was perfectly seasoned and prepared. You won't leave here hungry. Side dishes are on the large side. The main dish is too so you may need a takeout container if something hits your fancy - like any of the deserts. The calamari appetizer was a bit on the well-done side and the individual pieces were rather small and mostly breading so we ate only about a third of what was on the plate. Rusty's has an upcharge on some of the side items and a 3% credit card charge that went unnoticed until the bill arrived. All in all, we'll be back to try some more of the menu and will try to keep the bill under $100.

First time visitors and couldn't not have asked for a better experience. Short wait for a table and very much worth any wait. My husband had surf and turf with scallops. Steak cooked to perfection and scallops amazing. I had seafood pasta and omgoodness it was fabulous. The bread and honey butter were fabulous and the fried pickles were amazing as well. The sweet tea was made to perfection for sweet tea lovers. Overall the atmosphere is fun and full of life! Will stop next trip! Don't skip out on trying Rusty's riverfront. Well worth a visit.

I came in around 8:30, was quickly sat. I walked in frustrated because my job was pestering me and all I wanted to do was enjoy a good meal after a rough week. Server came by promptly and was attentive all meal long. After ordering I noticed some specials on the TV screen and decided to try the bang band Brussel Sprouts, I should of asked how they were cooked because otherwise I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew they were fried. They had a strange texture and flavor profile, I was not a fan. However the steal and broiled oysters were absolutely INCREDIBLE! My sides were very good as well.

I went Saturday, I had the Surf & Turf & bread pudding, everything was delicious 10/10. My waitress Ebony was amazing, she had great costumer service!! Highly Recommend

We were told this place is a must try and the selection of food was plentiful. I'm was thinking "Ok....this sounds like a bar food place to eat". Oh was i so wrong! I had shrimp tacos w/ a side loaded potato and my wife had a grilled pineapple chicken sandwich on an onion bun. It was delicious!! And let me tell you, they had pies, cheesecakes, and Mississippi brownies!! You could get slices or buy a whole pie or cake. I decided to get a whole chocolate peanut butter pie (take it home for everyone to try) and my wife got a slice of Mississippi brownie. They were so good and very rich in flavor. We thoroughly enjoy this place. We'll be back for more pies!

Food was very good. We had Calamari with Red Sauce appetizer. Main Entre were Seafood Pasta & Crab cakes. Good service & a nice atmosphere.

This is a quiet, warm environment with good food. Plenty of food is given for the price. The steak is so delicious that you don't need any sauce with it. Tell whoever cooked the steak tonight, thwy are thevreal deal. Shrimp and grits were a little different from what I am used to, but it was good.

Delicious Catfish & Friendly Service! We stopped in for an early dinner and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the fried catfish with salad and sweet potato fries, as well as the blackened catfish with salad and steamed broccoli. The blackened catfish was incredibly moist and flavorful, and both the salad and steamed broccoli were fresh and delicious. The fried catfish was just as good—crispy, perfectly cooked, and paired well with the tasty sides. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great spot for delicious seafood with excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Our dinner was very good at the Beechwood Restaurant. We had Fried Green Tomatoes with hollandaise sauce and a beautiful amount of lump crab on top. It was the best we have had in Vicksburg on our work trip. We had salad, baked potatoes and a beautiful and very tasty ribeye steak. Everything was very good!

I ordered Beechwood yesterday 7/2/2025 for delivery because I just had surgery and did not want to leave the house. I am sooooooo very very disappointed especially after paying $135.73 and the results were just terrible… I ordered the Beechwood Classic and a Crawfish Julie Sauce to go on top of my steak… as you see by the pictures I took and paid literally $7.00 for this and that is what I got!! It’s the one in the tiny little cup. Also, asked for a side salad and also you can see in the photos what I got. Also ordered fried green tomatoes with extra sauce and did not receive the sauce, ordered cheese sticks with marinara no marinara ordered a side of pasta… which in my mind was going to be flavored, but you see by my pictures it’s literally just cooked pasta!!!!! I have eaten at Beechwood many times and this this right here really pissed me off!! I just spent over $100 at your restaurant and this is what I get?! Even if I’m not actually at the restaurant I deserve better than this!!! I Never leave bad reviews, but this is just horrible!! I am still a customer even though I am not at your restaurant and you should be ashamed of how this order went and how you treat delivery different than in the restaurant!!

Bar restaurant, really busy. Locals favorite. Enjoyed watching football, beer and steaks! Took an hour to receive food, the only downside.

This place is special, its got a grade A vibe, go look for a spot at the back where the big bar is. It's cool, got dark lighting, got great music, got great food, got great servers, got super personality. And costs nothing. These are the kind of restaurants we should have. Love it.

Food was good. However, we were overcharged on a few things. First off, I came into the restaurant to make a to-go order, but I was charged a convenience fee...convenient how? I didn't do the order from Toast myself. If I'm in your restaurant, why are you charging me extra fees? Second, I was charged extra $2.50 for a loaded baked potato with NO bacon. However, if you just order the baked potato with those same ingredients (cheese, sour cream, and chives) it's not an extra $2.50, because it's not a loaded baked potato. I can prove that by doing the order myself online. 2 stops thru this town, and 2 different restaurants. Both charged us b.s. fees! Seems like an unlikely coincidence these podunk town restaurants feeding off of unsuspecting pass-thru travelers. So watch your bill if you order anything from any restaurant in Vicksburg,

A Must-Visit for Beer Lovers and Foodies! We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Their selection of beers brewed on-site is fantastic—there’s something for everyone. Every sip was fresh and flavorful. For dinner, we ordered the Irish pork stew, and it was absolutely incredible—tender, savory, and packed with delicious, hearty flavors. It truly felt like comfort food done right. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great beer, delicious food, and top-notch service.

Fantastic establishment. After reading some reviews talking about poor service I expected the service to be lacklustre. Madison proved the reviews to be wrong. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the beers. The food was exceptional and the steaks were had we cooked just as we ordered, something that is very rare back home. I cannot fault this place. Great food, fantastic beer, amazing staff. Faultless Wish we had establishment like this back in the UK. PS Madison is a great asset to your company

This was our third visit here and to be perfectly honest I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to leave a review. We live out of state and like to visit at least once per year while visiting our son in college. The service is always great & so is the food! Their appetizers are delicious, especially their homemade fries & fried pickles!! The atmosphere is fantastic. They even have a rooftop! We always choose to stay inside though. The waitress even recognized us and knew who we were! That speaks volumes about their service!

Great food and really good beer! I had the roasted pork collar, and it was delicious. Crispy bits but still melt in your mouth tender. My colleague had the party melt and said it was great as well. I had the bayou shake beer, which was amazing. I was hesitant because sours/milkshake style aren't usually what I like, but it is worth a try!

Stopped here with the family passing through for our vacation and we were delighted by the flights of beer and delicious pizza. Highly recommend the Mojo Pork Shoulder. The pizzas were perfect to share among 2 people with lots of small plate options (the brussel sprouts were dreamy). Interesting and wide beer selection. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with rooftop seating available as an option.

Always a great spot to hang and have a couple delicious and fresh beers. IPAs, sours and lagers hit the spot. The pizza is best in class and the shrimp sopa fideo is a super fun little ramen adjacent bowl of flavors. Free WiFi is a boon! Clean, airy and fun environment as well.

So, so yummy! I really appreciated the gluten free options!! Lovely spot and the brunch menu was top notch. We were in town for the day and will definitely make a stop here again next time we are coming through Vicksburg.

You literally have one job Ameristar, that is provide live music and drinks to your customers. It’s a packed bar and you have literally have one poor bar tender waiting on over 100 people in the bar. Not even one floor waitress to be seen. I expect more business sense from a Vegas parent company. Make your money on liquor sales. Not pushing paying patrons out the door because you run a sucky business. Get it together. And get actual blues music !! Typical democratic ran business. Expect only the sub par service that democratic minds can think of and produce.

The Bottleneck Blues Bar has an awesome light show! These pictures show that, and it sounds as good as it looks! They’ve been stepping it up there with a variety of different genres to appeal to everybody! Can’t wait to see what’s happening the rest of the year and on into 2023!!

Great venue for live music! One of the best sounding sound systems I’ve heard. I love how they are serving locally brewed beer now. Just one suggestion—-maybe get some beer on tap and serve in real glass?

Drinks were great and brought in a timely manner I didn't eat so I can't rate that but all in all 👍

I enjoy the live shows!! Bartenders are nice!! Drinks are well made!! And I always try to catch Mike Rob & the 601 Band when they perform!!

Both the variety and familiarity of musicians who grace this stage are always amazing. From blues to rock and country to tributes, I am never disappointed. Some of my faves over the past months include M80s, GNR tribute, Sweet Tooth Jones, Hairicane, Jason Miller Band… The sound, lighting, optics and setup are top notch - concert worthy - and the bands all seem to be very personable. The stage is small enough for the bands to interact with the crowd effectively and large enough to accommodate a dance floor that sees a ton of action. The entertainment is almost always cover charge free and the beer bucket option makes each visit affordable for me. I can never wait to see what the lineup is for the weekend! This has absolutely become my favorite hangout. Kudos to the hardworking and friendly staff for always improving on an already great atmosphere. If you are a fan of music in general, like to meet new people or see familiar faces, want a place to unwind in a dark corner or tear up a dance floor, whether you’re a visitor or a local, this is the night life for you.

Very interesting place. Service was spot on, atmosphere was good except for the lighting, and the food was above par. We had fried pickles (made on premise) and Poboys. The Mrs had the Southern version that has fried green tomatoes on it and went with the blackened shrimp. I got the traditional fried shrimp. Her shrimp were good size, mine were popcorn shrimp that looked like they came out of a bag. Bottom line is we will come back again if we are in the area.

Stopped here on our way to Alabama (from Texas) after reading the reviews. My husband and I agree that these were the BEST hamburger and onion rings ever! Eclectic atmosphere and wonderful, friendly staff. Definitely will come again.

The food and sweet tea was out of this world! So yummy! We had fried pickles, burgers, sweet potato and regular steak fries. The regular fries were okay but everything else was sooo delicious! I wish I didn’t get so full so quickly because I would’ve ordered more sweet potato fries! The service was outstanding. Our waitress took great care of us and she’s great with kids too.

This is a very interesting and somewhat surprising place to eat. You can drive by and not realize it's a restaurant. The food is very good- we got the lunch specials with country fried steak and catfish with fried okra and it was fantastic. The people are nice and friendly. It is very hole-in-the-wall style, and darker than I was expecting, but you (whoever is reading this) may find it cozy. I plan to make this pretty regular.

The food and people here were excellent! I highly recommend the fried cauliflower, steak sandwich, and fries! After a long day of traveling and exploring Vicksburg, it was a great place to refuel and relax. Everyone there was friendly and made the experience great. It is a bit smoky inside, but it is a bar, so get it to go if that’s an eliminating factor—the food is worth it!

was up in Vicksburg for the weekend, got in town starving. Walked abt 15 mins from our motel. This place has the charming (I mean that lovingly) atmosphere of a dive bar and OMG possibly the best burger I've ever had. Great service, amazing food. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Burger was well seasoned, juicy and edges were crispy with a toasted bun. Fries were excellent as well, next time I want to try the onion rings. I got the cheeseburger with bacon. Prices were also decent.

A fun little gem! We came for dinner as a party of 4 and were able to sit in the front room that overlooks the water. Our waitress was new but she did fine. She did have to go back to the bar/kitchen to answer a few of our questions but she did well. The biscuits truly were great and we enjoyed our fried catfish. The blackened shrimp wrap was tasty as well. For the wraps there are a lot of options for proteins and sauces. Even the simple side salad was nice, it tasted fresh. Overall we had a very good experience and would recommend this place!

The atmosphere is wonderful and you can see the water upstairs. The food was good with handmade burgers and fries. The wait staff was the low point. Slow service, forgot to check back, argued with our order, I guess the restaurant only had 1 bottle of ketchup that had to be moved around tables constantly. Hopefully it wasn’t a regular thing.

It was ok. The biscuits are good but my hot lunch plate food was cold. Disappointing server. She was flustered and didn't help. Sent back food to reheat and it came back same temp. However, the hamburger steak was delish.

ALWAYS.... We eat at Rustys when in Vicksburg. So we wanted to try somewhere different while passing through Vickburg...WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED! The establishment is right in the historical district, up the road from the Yazoo River. The atmosphere was great. Old former brick biscuit bakery. Place looks like a old school bar. Staff was extremely warm and welcoming. Very friendly. Menu is priced good. Not fast food prices but not stupid expensive, super affordable. Lot of broad choices but you MUST get the hamburger steak!! I love hamburger steak and this is the BEST EVER. we also had the catfish, it was good. Service was good. Waitress was personable and informative. They are very proud of there hometown. The biscuits are great. Service was quick. Clean place. STRONLY RECOMMEND.

The Red beans and rice and chicken gumbo are super. The burgers 🍔 are hand made and seasoned to perfection. The local brews and the atmosphere make this a destination for sure. Just make sure you tell your server what you want and she’ll get it for you.

Best catfish I have ever had and a decent view of the river outside. I would definitely recommend this place to others passing through. Just a short walk from a series of murals down by the river.

looking for a lunch spot as we wandered through old town Vicksburg and found this place. I’ll never pass up a place with biscuit in the name if I can help it. Especially in the south. Brick and wood interior with spaces that feel a bit like eating in someone’s home. Some areas have a view of the Mississippi River. Staff seemed a bit surly and over worked with some very apparent newbies taking orders. Wide ranging pub style menu-including a fried bologna sandwich! -with some more substantial plates for the dinner hour. Seems to be well regarded for their catfish. And the biscuits of course. These do not, it appears, come complimentary with any meal. They are ordered ala-carte. Available as 4 or 2 to an order. We chose to go with two as we had been hitting the carbs pretty hard over the last couple of days. You have a choice of half a dozen spreads to accompany these so we chose honey plus the included butter. The biscuits were not of the oversized “cats head” variety but just the right size to enjoy with a meal and show off the skill of the baker. They were delicious, light and flaky. Definitely could have enjoyed a few more of these. Wife ordered a BLT on white with slaw. And I jumped at the chance to experience the fried bolo sandwich, on wheat with sweet potato fries. She pronounced her sandwich as “fine” but noted the bacon had an overabundance of fat. Her slaw was as expected. She chose not to finish the sandwich. My meal disappointed. The sweet potato fries were just ok, not served very hot. The sandwich was a letdown. The meat was also not very hot or very well “fried”. Just a cursory slap on the flat top to try and caramelize the outside with no real attempt to heat thoroughly. Needed more time. And not very flavorful. A bit of my wife’s bacon added some flavor. Maybe some cheese would have also. Disappointing. Chose to skip dessert and move on. If you like biscuits give them a try. Just be careful what you order to go with them.

This is a great place - Cherry the owner is wonderful and always helpful, and Claire & the rest of the staff is great! I'm only in town a couple weeks out of the year, but this is my go to joint when I'm there. Good variety of drinks and menu options, nicely made. Comfortable covered smoking/seating section outside. Checks all my boxes!

So, my 9yr old and I were walking around in downtown Vicksburg, MS and he, of course, was hungry as usual. With the name of the restaurant being Cocktails 101, I was hesitant to take my 9 yr old in there, but they were having a special on wings.. "Wednesday wings;" we decided to give it a try. There was only one customer at the bar when we entered and I didn't know if it was because of the quality of the food and service or because it was a Wednesday evening... So, right off, I noticed the items on the menu were a bit pricey for my tastes! But, we were here and we had sat down so we were at the point of no return!! The food is pretty good. My son said, " Mom you ought to go into the restaurant business because this tastes exactly like your food!" I don't know about you, but if I'm going to pay an arm and a leg for a meal, I want it to taste better than the meals I normally cook! So, I thought some items on the menu were a bit overpriced, but the food was good. The service was great because we were the only people eating in the restaurant. I'm not sure how you can mess that up. Of course we got all the attention of our server, and that was nice. The atmosphere was really laid-back and a few locals drifted in and sat at the bar. It was very quaint and clean. It ended up being a really nice time and my son decided that we would come back to Cocktails 101 at least once a month so we could enjoy a nice meal together in a fun, upscale environment.

This place has a welcoming relaxed atmosphere with a simple and straightforward menu (very refreshing). Employees are very friendly and very helpful. My food was prepared to perfection and I highly recommend the steak, the seafood pasta is amazing so I don't think that you'll be disappointed. Prices aren't cheap but they aren't wallet or purse busting either and with the quality and quantity of the food worth every dollar.

Hey all I have to say the Restaurant Cocktails 101 is a hidden gem this place is top notch from the Four wisemen whiskey drink and the Washington Apple drink .Now for the meal was outstanding the Chicken Alfredo with large portions was wonderful My Wife had the 12oz ribeye steak with bake potatoes and asparagus it was very tender and delicious you will enjoy a very good meal and great Atmosphere

We stopped by for a meal while travelling in the area. The food did not disappoint; Pork Ribs is very flavorful and didnt even need the sauce, but sauce was also very good. Baked beans was pretty good too. Pork chop is really good, not dry at all. I'd recommend Big Bees to anyone passing the area, great value!!!

My wife and I traveled many, many miles, and hours, to come to Big Bee’s barbecue. We had it two years ago when we stumbled upon this place, and haven’t forgotten how good the food is. I couldn’t decide what to have, so I had one of each! Chicken, pulled pork, and ribs, along with two sides, which are obviously homemade. It was all delicious, and every bit as good as we remembered from two years ago. Mike, a.k.a. Big Bee, and his daughter and family are gracious, very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is “homey“, but you go there for the food. Prices are unbelievably good. So next time you are here in Vicksburg, you have to try Big Bee’s barbecue. It’s simply the best!

We absolutely the ribs! The baked beans and potato salad were amazing. The portions were very generous!…. I couldn’t eat all of the ribs! Mike, his wife, and grand-daughter were so nice and friendly. It has a very home like atmosphere! We can’t wait to go again!

We ordered rib plates with beans and potato salad. Ribs were okay, greasy, very little flavor and burnt in some places. Not impressed. 2 stars for potato salad. Meal didn't come with bread. We ordered drinks and didn't get them. Atmosphere was small and tight. Toilet in bathroom unsteady. Don't sit on it.

We are doing a cross country drive this summer, visiting national parks, landmarks and little known treasured places. We were thrilled to have found this restaurant. It’s far from fancy, but in our humble opinion it rates as high as the Chart House restaurant, at the Tower of the Americas in TX. We visited with Mr. Mike who shared of his family history in the area. We were excited to learn that his recipes are handed down from a few generations back. His kindness, friendliness, and warmth will not be forgotten. My daughter refers to Harmony as a “sweet friend” she made this summer, and hopes to visit again someday. His BBQ is outstanding! We truly enjoyed the ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw. My teen said he wishes he could give the burger 🍔 a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because 5 stars doesn’t do it justice. It was truly an excellent experience for all 5 senses. 🙌🏻

When we read the reviews, I knew we had to eat here, and I'm sure glad we did. The staff was friendly, cheerful and very helpful. The ribs were fall off the bone perfect. The pulled pork was so flavorful. The homemade BBQ sauce is this place's best kept secret. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. And speaking of the menu, I love that it's handwritten and any changes were simply crossed off. This is the kind of mom and pop place I will always support. I don’t know if y’all have tried Mr Mike’s BBQ over here in Vicksburg but if you haven’t y’all are certainly missing out!!! When I tell you this pulled pork is amazing, the ribs are seasoned to perfection and this chicken is flavored just the way grilled smoked chicken is supposed to taste. You feel like you are sitting at home with family when eating here! Drop by and see Mr Mike, his wife and daughter Monday through Saturday 11am to 6pm at 830 West Pine St, Vicksburg, MS!

Got here 30 minutes before closing, stood outside and waited for service for 2-3 minutes, it finally came and I was asked what I wanted. Told the lady I was looking for the size prices, glanced over to find them and when I looked up she was walking to the back. Never said a word to me. Waited for about 30 seconds and she never came back. This was my first time here and last. Going to Delta Daquiris across the bridge would’ve been a better choice.

Drinks taste like they literally came out the muddy Mississippi River! Don't waste your money or time go cross the bridge to delta daiquiri, you won't be disappointed like I was here.

Britney & Alaura are definitely a vibe. Bring a few friends and have a ball. This is my go to when in Vicksburg just for the vibes alone.

Replaced former" the Biscuit Company " with new ownership. Their food did not disappoint Fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms were thick cut so u get a good bite Hamburger steak is well seasoned and not dry. Pizza needs to bake a little longer in my preference but it had good toppings Grill oyster also good. Can't tell if it is fresh oyster or not, but it doesn't have a fishy taste to it Love the fried gator. Good crunch from the batter and meat itself is good too

Biscuits were good, the grilled chicken was delicious. Staff were all friendly, food came fresh and hot. We sat looking over the river, great views.

I'm conflicted and that is partially on me for having high expectations considering the local restaurants in this area and the location itself. This should have been a great dining experience but I left feeling disappointed. Our food arrived before our char grilled oysters when I had asked to start with the oysters. The oysters were small with not a lot of flavor. We ordered the Washington Pasta and the Hamburger Steak. Both had good flavor but the pasta was missing the crawfish as others have stated and the portions were on the small side for the price point. The atmosphere was conflicting. The building itself is beautiful and nostalgic but the servers were walking around casually and sitting in plain view on the counters while a cook came out and went behind the bar several times while there were no patrons sitting in that area. If you're going for casual dining, great but charge casual dining prices. If you're competing with other restaurants in the area and charging fine dining prices, your staff should reflect that. $75 for the food was too much for our experience here, plus the $25 worth of drinks and a $20 tip, definitely made this over priced. The Biscuit has all the elements needed to be a great restaurant, in a great location, and should be packed on a Saturday night but it wasn't. Hopefully these things will be considered and adjustments will be made.

Very nice restaurant. Staff was friendly from the phone call we made to correctly find the location all the way up to leaving after our lunch. Food was tasty and the menu has a good variety of choices. Natalie our server did a good job and was very friendly and professional. The environment was interesting with what appeared to be original woodwork and a super cool looking bar area. I also like the music they were playing in the back ground.

Happened upon this restaurant while traveling through. We hit the jackpot! Everything was seasoned to perfection. Friendly staff as well.

I have been going to the Biscuit Company for lunch since they have opened under the new ownership. Their food has not disappointed and the staff is amazing! The service is top notch! The new owner truly cares about his staff, the customers, and having good food! If you have not been you’re doing yourself an injustice!

I used to come here to play pool years ago, and it was a lot of fun. Now it’s a completely different place. The Biscuit? More like a rock hard baguette

The ambiance is great and the food is all excellent. The filet really is butter knife tender! Our server, Erica, is the best. We will definitely come back!

We wanted a nice dining experience for the evening and the Restaurant Anchuca certainly delivered. The place and grounds are lovely. The staff are all very nice and the service is attentive. The food was also quite impressive. We very much enjoyed the food and the wine selection was quite nice. This was a great experience.

Had an evening dinner on the first night of our stay. Food, atmosphere, and service were great. It took a little while to get our meal and there was only one person serving the dining room doing the best she could. Asparagus bisque, Shrimp and Grits, and Chicken picatta were excellent. We also order a flight of white wine. Great selection. Peach cobbler with vanilla bean was very good as well. Breakfast came with our stay. It was served in the same dining room and there was a video shown that explained the history of Anchuca. Breakfast plate was grits, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, biscuit with jams and butter. Very good food and service.

You must stop here for dinner while in Vicksburg! The food, service, and ambiance is unbeatable. They take food allergies seriously and were so accommodating. Even offered the most delicious gluten free dessert! 10/10!

Overall a 3.5 experience. The service was satisfactory, the atmosphere and wine selection superb and the food subpar. 3 of 4 sides were very nice. The grits however, were so overcooked I almost mistook them for polenta. The most offensive aspect is that both proteins, 1 fish the other beef, were overdone. Very disappointing.

Everything was wonderful, friendly, The place is very historic. The drive there was a little sketch, but the street seemed ok. It's attached to a Bed and Breakfast. Worth a walk around. Tons of history throughout.

My husband and I are at Anchuca tonight food was delicious! Outstanding service! We had the roasted pork chop sweet potatoes, and string beans, I had the filet mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We shared the bonzo pie and both had a drink! Will definitely be back!
