Ambience is nice, be warned this is an expensive restaurant, the most affordable dish starts from 350Rs IIRC, situated on a hill top the weather changes as quickly as the clouds keep moving, my kids loved the chocolate mousse so much that we carried back parcels of it.

We spent two lovely days at King’s Cliff, Ooty, and truly enjoyed the buffet breakfasts at Earl’s Secret. The food, service, and ambience were all exceptional. Every dish was delightful, but the ghee roast stood out, it felt like a warm hug on a chilly Ooty morning.

Old charm property, offering continental and Indian cuisine. Although it seemed promising to begin with because of the beautiful architecture and good service, the food certainly needed a lot of work. It was average tasting with not much effort put into it. However, if you are in Ooty, it will idea to stop by once for the experience.

I walked-in by seeing the interior and ambience of the cafe from outside. And of course the wood oven for pizza. The food was not so great but ambience and staff is very courteous. Served well, and had taken extra care as I was a tourist. The pizza chef is sweet , we had good conversation about local culture and people. One can visit the cafe to have nice pizza. It is at commercial road. Where I one can have good walk through market and pick some local stuff.

I was born and brought up in Ooty, and whenever I visit this place, the food always tastes amazing; the pizza and pasta are good. The vibe is calm and pleasant, and the restaurant has a nostalgic 90's feel. However, during my last visit, I noticed it still looks the same. I wish they would renovate it to a more modern style while keeping that '90s touch. Also, the washrooms were not clean; please make sure proper hygiene is maintained.

Very tasty food and also reasonably priced. Ambience could do a bit of improvement. Place looked dark and old. We had the yummiest napolitan spaghetti. The spicy supreme veg pizza was a overly spicy for kids. Desserts were really yummy. We had brownies with ice cream and nuts

Ok, this is a difficult one. The servers/staff there were super polite and helpful. However, the ambiance feels...old. Not vintage, not classy..but old. The restaurant did not feel welcoming despite the best efforts from the staff. The food as well was OK at best. I ordered Aglio Oglio Sphagetti and what I got was hakka noodles with red chillies and vegetables topped with cheese. It tasted fine, but it was NOT pasta. It was noodle dish with cheese on top. I do not wish to assume much since it was my one and only visit there, but there is definitely a disconnect between what the restaurant claims to be <-> aspires to be <-> what it really is. Could have been much better considering it is situated at such a prime spot in market.

Very good woodfired pizza's which are made live, and the hospitality was on point. Mr. Uday served and prepared our food and was a gem of a person, he made us feel welcomed and made the overall experience so much better. Good food, great service, would definitely visit again for the woodfired pizzas and Mr. Uday!

Very good multi cuisine Veg restaurant in the heart of ooty's upmarket area. Super menu, good food, nice ambience. The French onion soup was a let down though. Nilgiri pizza and wood fired chilli cheese toast, pasta fungi were good. Black currant crush, cafe frappe, lassi were good too.

I had most expectations on this place and while eating I got part of cockroach. When I complained to owner didn’t seem like it mattered to him. Evan the staff didn’t worry. Cleanliness was very bad it was stinky at hand wash place. .

One of the best vegetation restaurants in Ooty. Famous one and traditional hotel. Tiffin and meals sections are separate. Well maintained and spacious restaurant in the first floor. Located near main road and close to mariamman temple and market. Visited many times. Food quantity is less but quality is good. Very good place to enjoy with family.

It was one of the places in OOTY where we were able to find breakfast after 11 am. The food tasted good . Service was good. But felt a little over priced. Had some challenges in finding a parking spot near the hotel . I recommend you to try this place for breakfast.

This place is situated in the midst of the city, and provides a good view of Ooty. This restaurant is a part of the cottage styled hotel, and has some good cuisines which taste good. Although, the prices of the items are on the higher side and the number of items available is limited. They serve both buffet (with less items available though) and Ala carte, and their staff are polite. The place is well maintained and has a good ambience. I had chicken biryani and paneer 65 here, both of which tasted good. The biryani was prepared well and had good number of chicken pieces, and so did the paneer 65. Overall, it was a good experience here with the only feedback I would provide is about the prices of their cuisines, however, one can have a good experience here, especially if they're staying in their hotels.

We had vegetarian buffet. Which was good! Ample variety ! They asked us if we need anything other than buffet items. And did provided our choice. Staff was super courteous and helpful. Club Mahindra - Derby green, We enjoyed our food, as we're localities we don't often visit here. But we got a chance for one afternoon and had panner tikka and veg manchow soup, both tasted good. The price is a little higher but it's okay for its standard. You can try their items if you'd love to give a treat to your taste buds.

Firstly, people should know that this restaurant is based inside Club Mahindra resort. It’s difficult to spot it using the Maps location without this detail. Also, the food here is amazing and priced reasonably. Tomato basil soup is a must try.

This is the in-house restaurant of Club mahindra derby greens ooty. While on workation here, we opted for 3 meal combo here and being vegetarians, this is one of the good decisions We took. The buffet has ample vegetarian options with usually 4 subzis or more and Daals. The most delightfully surprising part was the numerous and tasty eggless desserts and cakes (not sure if we were lucky to visit them during time of more vegetarian crowd). They were also very accommodating to our dietary constraints and made customizations to buffet items too when requested. FYI: Do ask for masala Ginger tea when around!

They must need to learn quick services and have to respond to the customers properly. When i entered the hotel, i went to the hand wash area, there is water on the floor, smell very bad inside the hand wash area. All soap dispenser were damaged and not working properly. All servers were standing together like 4 to 5 members group, talking and using mobiles. I waited in my table nearly 10 mins to give an order. Finally i called loudly someone who is far away and got the menu card. He not came and gave the menu card respectfully. He just passed me when he is walking towards kitchen. I called an another person to order it. After 10 mins got sambar rice and after 15 mins i got North indian special meals. But the food is not in warm condition. I dont know, then why it took 10-15 mins for them to serve the cold foods. I noticed that, in sweets section, they taking and packing sweets in hands without wearing the gloves. Some of the servers were not hygienic, they are scratching their head and hairs. Servers are not coming to the table and asking for anything more to order. They are all busy with their own talks and standing far away from customers. Very worst experiences and poor service. Food taste is also very average. I usually, go A2B in bangalore Bhattarahalli. There i had always a good service. Here in ooty, first this hotel manager needs to monitor their servants and all servers should properly trained to improve service quality, neatness and hygiene. I felt like paying half my amount which i paid for this to any other small hotels gives a good experience.

The restaurant is very easy to access as it is located right on the commercial road in Ooty, all time crowded eatery in the vicinity.. The food and ambiance are superb, making for a delightful dining experience. However, the service could use some improvement to match the high quality of everything else. Great food, great service and great ambience. The restaurant is located at a very prime location near Charring Cross. The food was very delicious and the staffs were equally cooperative. We were waited by Amit sir, and to be honest he was very humble and showed positive concerns with our order like a family member. The price of the food is a bit high, but we cannot complaint much on this, afterall the restaurant is in a hill station.

Though I was a bit reluctant to visit the place due to low rating, I thing it's a gross injustice to rate this place below 4, which may be because of snail-pace service at peak hours. But the food quality- south Indian or north Indian, or of even snacks item- is very good. We visited the place repeatedly and had Dosa, both ghee roast and Mysore, Idli, Chhole bhature, Pav bhaji etc., and found them delicious. Pricing is also affordable. I have been staying in Ooty since 2021, and as a pure vegetarian, I always look for good vegetarian hotels. Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. The restaurant has many tables but very few staff members to attend to customers. It takes a long time for them to take orders, and the service and response are not up to the mark. I hope the management improves staff availability and customer service to provide a better dining experience.

We visited Le Cafe for lunch and tried the Pulled-Pork Sliders, Grilled Lamb Burger, and a Cafe Latte. The outdoor seating area is a nice touch, offering a pleasant ambiance. The Pulled-Pork Sliders (served as a set of three) had a unique tangy, sweet, and mildly spicy flavor. While the pork was well-cooked and flavorful on its own, the overall dish felt a bit disjointed. The Lamb Burger featured a juicy patty but could have used more seasoning. Both dishes were served with fries on the side, which were tasty. The Cafe Latte was well-prepared and enjoyable. Service was good and reasonably quick. However, while the quality of the food was decent, the portions were relatively small for the price point, which felt quite steep. There is a shared parking area available on the premises, which is convenient. Overall, a decent experience, though a bit overpriced for what’s offered.

This place has great ambience. The detailing on the food and taste are great too, but the menu is a little expensive. Parking space is available. There is a super mart called "Little Earth" close by where you can find the regular finds as other super marts, but this also includes some stationary and foods that 90s kids would relate to. There is also perfume stall outside the super mart where you can customize accordingly to your liking.

Each time we come here, it gets worse. First the service quality was poor. Then the food quality deteriorated. Now they just serve inedible, burnt food. And when you point out that the food was burnt, the staff just stares at you, and then all the staff stares at you, as though taking issue with burnt food is a crime. The service quality here and at periodic table is just atrocious. Coffee was good though.

One of the best stays I’ve had till now in any hotel. Lovely rooms with lovely views and the delightful old world feel. Very polite and well mannered staff - always ready to help with whatever you need. The Earl’s Secret restaurant also lives up to its reputation, with delicious food - be it continental or Asian. Also, the staff were very professional and refunded me an excess amount charged by their travel desk due to some confusion. So everything I had read about the property was accurate. If you’re for a relaxing and memorable stay in Ooty, this is the place to be.

The property is absolutely beautiful and has its own unique charm. The food was amazing , we tried the Nasi Goreng, and it was delicious. The highlight of our stay was the morning trek with the naturalist Mr. Jain Varghese and his fellow guide, Ravi. Both were incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about nature, botanical species, and wildlife. It was an amazing and memorable experience overall. Highly recommend this place for nature lovers and anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Before selecting this hotel, i was quite confident because the ratings everywhere were high and it was the first recommendation on Google, ChatGPT, and MakeMyTrip. But maybe I'll be the first one to deviate from all those positive reviews. You can call me poor 😅, but honestly, i found it very hyped, overrated, and expensive compared to the service and rooms they provided. From the outside, the property looks vintage and wow, but inside the room was not maintained properly for the price we paid (around ₹7.5k for one night). when we arrived, they told us to freshen up and promised complimentary juice, but it was never served. Even for basic things like an extra water bottle, we had to go to the reception and then call again to request it. The room was very cold, and though a fire pit was available, it was chargeable (₹580 for 2 hours). The bathroom basin was broken, which was quite disappointing. If they are charging so much in the name of “vintage,” that doesn’t mean the room should have broken fixtures. The main door of our room was half glass with only transparent curtains which means at night it was see-through from outside. Not at all comfortable. Also, there wasn’t a single hanger to hang a jacket or towel. As for the restaurant, i personally found it overpriced. You need to spend at least ₹1 to 1.5k per head, and even then, i didn’t find the food tasty enough to justify the cost. Overall, for me, the vibe didn’t match the hype. This is just my personal opinion, but I feel the money charged could be used to maintain the rooms and improve the service.

A quant British cottage with an active functioning fire place,with a wonderful garden, among the beautiful nature remincing the Raj Era. Yes , that is Kings cliff !This heritage British Bunglow boosts of all the above thing. And the service of the staff was just meticulous. Special mention to Mr Sanjay and Mr. Sanatan, front office manager, who were always extremely helpful and polite. We were checking out at 6.30 a.m , and they arranged to get the breakfast packed in that wee hours of morning. Their turn down service of keeping the room beautiful , fresh fruits, nuts daily in the evening. At night they used to provide us with good night choclate and hot water bags. Such thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was good. In high tea few more items can be added. It was just fritters and cookies. Some fresh sandwiches, pastries will make it more interesting.As it is a heritage property, I understand that structural changes not allowed, but my suggestion to work on lighting, wood polish, installing some mirrors, some work on bathroom will make the place more beautiful. Best is to take garden view delux room - Othello. Standard rooms are a bit claustrophobic, but by doing above changes, they can be uplifted. Garden is just beautiful and one can sit for hours. The musician who plays in the evening is also good. Thanks to him for playing and encouraging me to sing a number. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And hotel is highly recommended.

Apart from heritage property, good rooms, nice service, the best part of our stay was, Early Morning Natures walk (trekking) arranged by Kings cliff. Our guide Mr. Hari was an awesome and knowledgeable Naturalist. Anyone who wants to stay in Kings cliff, should surely try Morning nature walk with Mr. Hari.

Wow, it's really the best south Indian food place i feel is present in ooty. You might not see the food color so alluring but trust me it tastes awesome. The filter coffee was also perfect. (Those who love bitter taste of coffee). The service was apt. Even though we could not speak Tamil the waiter managed to serve very well. Very pocket friendly and simple restaurant.

Amma’s Kitchen is definitely worth it! The place is in such high demand that when we went after 1:30 PM, meals were already over. So the next day we made sure to walk in early. They serve both North Indian and Kerala meals at a reasonable rate. The restaurant is neat and clean, the food is affordable, and both the quantity and quality are excellent 👌. A must-try if you’re in the area!

Visited Amma’s kitchen for late lunch, the order of Chicken Biriyani and Jeera Rice was served in decent wait time, the food quality and taste is average. Needs improvement. They do not have any beverages , even not soft drinks. There is ample parking space opposite to the hotel.

The place is very clean with decent staffs. The food was good. The manager walks around enquiring the needs and comfort of the customers which is quite amazing.. Angaara offers a good dining experience overall. The Butter Garlic Prawns were absolutely out of this world — a must-try! While the rest of the dishes were quite good, it was disappointing that none of the items from their Arabic menu were available during my visit. Still, a place worth visiting for tasty food and solid service.

The Ambience is nice but the food is below average. The expectations with the brand name for food is done not reached. Need improvement in the taste. We have ordered fried rice which tastes like normal white rice only.

Visited this place recently and had a mixed experience. We started off with a few appetizers - they were okay, nothing that really stood out. But the main course was a bit of a letdown, especially the Paneer Angara. It just didn’t hit the mark, the flavours felt off and it lacked that balance you’d expect from the dish. That said, not everything was a miss! The Lemon Coriander Soup was honestly the highlight of the meal. Super refreshing and packed with flavour definitely something I’d recommend trying if you visit. Overall, an average experience with a couple of bright spots.

Visited Angaara Restaurant in Ooty and honestly, the overall experience was not satisfying. 🍲 Clear Soup – The soup was just average. Nothing special in flavour or presentation. 🍛 Chicken Biryani (₹400) – Completely not worth the price. Taste was below average, and the chicken pieces were very rubbery, making it unpleasant to eat. 🥗 Curd Salad for biriyani – Extremely sour, couldn't enjoy even a few bites. 🍗 Tandoori Chicken – Average taste. The mint chutney served as a dip was so sour that it was almost inedible. Chilly Chicken – This was the only dish that was actually good. Well-cooked and full of flavour. 🚨 Hygiene Issue – When the plates were first served, they had a strong unpleasant smell. Requested a new one – even the second plate had the same issue. After asking again, finally got a proper plate after 15–20 minutes. This was a major letdown and shows lack of basic hygiene. 🚗 Parking Problem – No on-site parking. You’ll have to walk 200 meters to reach the nearest paid parking (₹50/hour), which is highly inconvenient, especially in a tourist place like Ooty. ⭐ Final Verdict: 2/5

Everything about this place was just right. Good quality food, good portion size, and everything was delicious! We tried the chicken chettinad, chicken Angara, naan and ghee rice. Everything tasted very nice, we even had their brownies, which was also quite nice The service was good, didn't have to wait for too long. Slightly on the pricier side, but it's like a solid choice for a good meal, especially while you're travelling The ambience was quite nice too, and the place was kept neat and clean. We were overall very happy with everything!

Some waiter's action were not good and they also missed a item that I ordered. Rest the Food and ambience were awesome, also the manager himself visited every table for feedback.

We came all the way from Mysore to Ooty with a big group of 25 family members to celebrate our cousin’s anniversary — specifically to dine at this hotel, and it truly lived up to its legacy :) Manager Zuhaib Khan and his team made us feel completely at home and quickly arranged the entire top floor just for us. There were kids in the group who were a bit loud at times, but the staff stayed friendly and welcoming throughout. The ambiance was lovely, prices were reasonable, and the food was fantastic. Biryani was a crowd favourite, desserts were delightful, and the chefs were happy to tweak dishes to suit our taste. A truly memorable experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with delicious food from The Fern, offering both buffet and à la carte options. Over our 3-day stay, we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in-room dining, and overall, the food was quite good. The lunch and dinner buffets had a decent spread, though we noticed there was no biryani on either menu, and the non-veg options were limited to just three dishes. While the spread was convenient and reasonably but it was priced high , it felt a bit less spread for the cost. The service and ambiance, however, were excellent. Must try and recommended

The Fern is the only restaurant at Sterling Fern Hill. They serve both buffet and à la carte. We had multiple meals there and found the food to be overall good. It is not exceptional - not the kind of place you go to specially eat. But if you are staying at the hotel, definitely worth eating at with the convenience and the reasonable spread. The service and ambience are good as well.

Had the buffet today for approximately 1492 which was totally not worth it at all. Hardly any non Veg and not upto the mark even with the desserts. Only the location is good. Approximately 9300 for 6 of us. Instead visit Mind escapes or Cherry berrie or Angara ..

This is a huge hotel, but the restaurant's condition is pathetic. They had to look for at least 10 chairs to find one which is not dirty. Poor service, even poor food. They serve Al a carte from the buffet servings. Ajwain fish tikka, green salad was the only dish which was good. We spent 4400 rs for lunch of 3. 2 starters, 3 dishes in total for mains. We were celebrating an ocassion which turned something else. Road side food would have been better than the food they serve. Regret going there.

Tasty food with very good service. Buffet pricing especially for dinner given the spread is excessive. In general the buffet spread could have been better and menu rotation cycles longer. Ala carte service was good and kitchen was happy to cook as per our requirements. Staff is prompt and courteous and helpful.

We have celebrated birthday in Sterling fern hill , including stay for 2 days. Decoration and arrangement done by the Staff "Phamman" was very good. She managed everything well , softly spoken and even treated our dog very well. Food was not good but her service and atmosphere was excellent.

We went on a Monday afternoon. It is Centrally located. It had parking. Very pocket friendly. The food was great for the price. The prompt service was appreciable. The person serving food was humble. There was little rush initially, but they managed the rush well.

Had breakfast, dosa and masala dosa were not cooked sufficient, vada was crispy but without salt. Sambar was too spicy . Only one common washroom for gents and ladies. Price should be expected to be slightly on higher side since it's a tourist place . Card payments and UPI allowed.

We visited Durga Pure Veg Restaurant twice during our stay in Ooty, having breakfast, dinner, and even a takeaway meal. Located in the prime center of Ooty, the restaurant is quite busy, but its convenient parking facility just outside makes it a preferred choice. For breakfast, we enjoyed crispy and decent tasty dosas. The service was fast, and the takeaway pongal was also satisfying. While the prices are slightly higher, they are justifiable given the prime location. However, our dinner experience was disappointing due to stale food, which was unfortunate. Although it was quite late, almost closing time, credible restaurants should maintain food quality at all times. Overall, we had mixed experiences at Durga Restaurant. I would recommend it for breakfast and lunch, but perhaps not for late dinners.

The food and service were awesome. I came with family with elders and a child. One of the family member eats food without onion and garlic. Food was prepared specifically for him to his taste by chef Naveen Thapa. The overall buffet variety and preparation was class. The whole staff - Anita, Avijit, Shubojit, Nupur, siva prasad, Amit and Muhais was very friendly and polite with par excellence service. With all of them success in life. Will surely be recommending Sterling for it’s great hospitality, food and service to family and friends.

Good hotel for enjoy your meals. We had lunch yesterday. We ordered South Indian meal which cost 120/- It was worth having lunch there. Taste was nice. Rice, sambar, curries and in the end, paysam was also delicious.

Visited this place searching for vegetarian food in ooty, situated at a busy market of ooty, one can find it on centre. The food is available all time though availability of all items are rare. We tried gobi manchurian, it was ok, roti made of atta, paneer garvy which was good but the Paneer was over fried, aloo gravy was good. cleanliness is good, but you have chairs swinging as they are not repaired. No wash rooms, if urgent you have to use one used by workers there which always busy. Overall it is normal hotel to visit when hungry. Rate is ok.

Awesome food,, tasted like home made food.. Staffs were very polite. They gave us the wrong order (for one item) but as soon as we complained they immediately changed it. They have spent alot in interior so if you see from outside it looks like and amazing restaurant but the reality is their food sucks, they serve food without properly cleaning them, tried gobhi Manchurian and can see dirt over their , dust can be seen over there if you complain they will just ignore. Ridiculous!! never visit this restaurant. It claims that there will be a 100 per person meal but it was not available. It took 1.25 hours for us to have our dinner. Awful service no common sense we our servicing our own.

This is a beautiful point of good interiors and the food is also good! We had ordered noodle, tea and idli both of really good. The idli was little bit cold! It’s a pure veg hotel.

God knows if they have just invester in improving interiors. I saw Jain sign on their signboard and thought Jain food will be served here. I asked them and they confirmed too. Later when we sat to have food, it came out that they only have daal in jain food. Hecking Bamboozled! The jain restaurant opposite is neither good either, I have posted a review there too. I had a very bad experience,there service is very slow , i order chai and parantha there first they served parantha and they served chai after 10 minutes even i requested so many times to bring tea early

It's a VERY small place, with probably seating for 15-18 people... A bit difficult to find... Board not displayed properly. Food is excellent here for sure.. We ordered some nachos, wings, pasta and burgers... All were tasty. Not that costly.. Around 3-400 per person. The service was fast enough.

Great food, good staff & best part is that it is pet friendly. We have visited recently with our dog & they were very considerate. Food was amazing. Service was very fast & staff was very polite. It has parking nearby I.e. you can park near the Fresco. The location may be confusing but you need to enter from the gate of Sanjay hotel. The place is inside it. Recommendations:-Pasta, Grilled chicken in Cajun sause, pizza, hot chocolate & coffee was amazing.

This is a lovely little café in Ooty which has really good food and desserts. I would highly recommend the crispy shrimp burger and shrimp salad. The tiramisu was divine🤌 and the peach dessert is a really good option for vegetarians. The cost is on par with cafes in Bangalore (800-1000 per person).

We visited the cafe in afternoon for a quick bite and some beverages. We ordered the CHIMICHURI PIZZA as recommended by the staff. The pizza was delicious and can be good for 3 people. We had iced tea and hot chocolate both were amazing in taste. However Ice tea was like some regular mocktail but tastes good. Staff was nice and service was quick.

The best Paneer Burger and Cheesy Fries I've had in most of South India. I've had Veg/Paneer Burgers from Bangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore and this cafe from Ooty beats them all hands down. Highly recommended💯. Attached photos of pesto pasta and stuffed mushrooms which I also highly recommend. ✅

This restaurant serves spoiled cakes twice. Once it was the strawberry framboise and the nest time it was the citron au tarte. The tart has fungus growth in it. It almost made me sick. They are very irresponsible with their food. When asked they kept denying and acting like I was lying. So, this time I took photos of it.

This is the very old authentic food shop in Ooty. The parota is very famous here. They serve four different kind of salnas for parota such as Chicken kuruma, Mutton kolambu, Fish kolambu and kodal kulambu. And the taste is the very best in Ooty. I will suggest this place for everyone. They also serve other foods such as rice, Biriyani, chapathi, kothu parota and other side dish items such as fish fry, chicken 65, etc

An Excellent Hotel worth dining in for. Most admirable thing about Ranga Vilas is their Hospitality towards their Customers. If you're looking for tasty and mouth watering foods and dishes. Then this is the place. Wish i had a hotel like this here at my place. Would visit again in my future visits to Ooty :)

A small hotel near ooty railway station which serves south indian foods. Good for solo travellers or better take away. Dining facility is not that great considering that the space is very less. Food tasted good, but not great. Pretty economical as well. Since it's situated in a narrow street, parking bike/car is really tough.

My friends and I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and provided excellent service, but the food was disappointing. The puri sabji turned out to be more like a greasy bhatura fried in old oil, and the parathas were heavy, made entirely of maida. On the bright side, the dosa was decent, and the chai, coffee, and Boost milk were all well-prepared. However, the limited parking was a significant inconvenience. Bollywood Adda is a small restaurant which is part of the Adarsh Hotel in Ooty. The place is located on the main road. The ambiance is Bollywood themed and hence the walls have posters from famous movies. The restaurant is small in size and cannot accomodate a large group. We ordered Chilli Babycorn which was crispy and spicy at the same time. The preparation was decent. Next we had the Paneer do pyaza and the Paneer Butter masala. There was hardly any Paneer in do pyaza. The taste was good and super spicy even though we asked for no spicy variant. The Paneer Butter Masala was okay okay. They only had 1 type of bread aka chapati and all others were unavailable. We asked for fruit juices which was also not available and same with icecreams. Next we ordered he Veg palao which was good in taste. Overall a decent pure vegetarian restaurant.

Food is simple and perhaps not what takes you back there again. But the location and the hospitality of the ladies working there would definitely pull you there. The place is quiet and nestled in nature, perfect location for a book reading session.

Had one of the fluffiest idlis ever from here. The sambar, chutney and the vadas that came along were too good. Not to mention the overall atmosphere of the place which is very relaxing. The cinnamon roll was freshly made and served hot and tasted great. Only the bagel was a little disappointing. The lady staffs(Akkas) are very warm and make you feel at home. The place is a little away from the city centre and service isn't quick. So maybe don't go there if you don't have plenty of time.

Cutest Cafe in Ooty 💛 The YELLOW Door This bright and cute cafe is located in Nilgiri Hills, also known as the Queen of Hills. You cannot find anything as beautiful as this little place in Ooty. They serve most delicious breakfast from 8 am in the morning. You can choose from Indian and English breakfast option and club with fresh local fruits platter. Tea is gives you the exact kick you need in the cold mountain morning. This cafe has all colours of rainbow and they use fresh bright flowers from their garden to decorate it. They have outdoor seating also. Staff comprises of humble group of ladies who takes good care of your food. I loved the vadas and idlis and nutritious sambhar bowl full of local produce. They also have cookies baked in their own bakery. I am going to remember this Breakfast forever ♾️
