The place has a unique charm with its beautiful old architecture, making it a pleasant spot to visit. The ice cream was delicious, but the service could use some improvement. The staff seemed a bit too casual and not very engaged when it came to offering suggestions.

It is a great place but good luck finding a table to enjoy your cafe and pastry. We went on Thanksgiving weekend and it was super busy. Would like to come back on a weekday. We decided to take out. I had a hot coco and an apple butter pastry. One can view their kitchen in the back and it seems that they bake it all in there.

We dropped in here at 10:00am. We ordered 2 gelato. One scoop in a cup for $5.99 and 2 scoops in a cup $7.99. The server was friendly. They only had 4 gelato flavours. There was 12 ice cream flavours and different cones with toppings on the rim. And about 10 cotton candy flavours. One side of the store has ice cream and one the other side has pastries like brownies, fudge, cupcakes, macarons, cookies. This store is run out of an old fire station. It gets quite busy after 12:00pm.

Very friendly chill vibes. Our associate tonight was Elias, the assistant manager, and who was very friendly and welcoming. Elias was also very open to making recommendations. The treats were very delicious and the hot chocolate is de divine. The ambiance is very relaxed. my friends and I sat inside and enjoyed each other company. It’s not too loud, but there is also outdoor seating. There is also a variety of icecream and prepared gift baskets that’s are perfect for gift giving

The Old Firehall Confectionery was a treat to visit. It was busy, but I watched as everyone was served quickly. I was impressed with the selection of treats they offered. A little on the pricy side, but everything is hand-made and made on site. I didn't purchase anything today since it was super hot out, and I didn't want it to melt, but I would come back for a visit.

I love it here; they have great variety of crafted truffles and chocolate, butter tart, cheesecake, cookies and gourmet cookies, popcorns and cotton candy. They also sell Kawartha ice cream and gelato. Usually, there’s a huge lineup for their ice cream and if you arrive later in the evening, they have run other of popular flavors. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have provided a few seats outside the store if you want to sit down and enjoy your dessert.

Worth checking out for the aesthetic and beautiful design! The firehall has been a mainstay on Main Street Unionville, and sells a lot of different kinds of treats, kawartha ice cream, and gelato. I will say the portion size on the gelato is pretty small considering how expensive it is (our pistachio and coffee crisp gelatos were $15) and they were definitely understaffed for a Saturday afternoon. It was quite a long wait and a lot of long lines forming so might want to consider having more staff available on summer weekends!

First time trying the soft ice cream cone. We got the white rabbit and Ovaltine flavour with gold leaf on the Ovaltine. The flavours of the ice creams are very light so can’t really taste it. Never had gold leaf before but it looks fancy and doesn’t have a taste as well. The charcoal cone is crispy and not sweet. Glad we tried it but likely won’t order these two flavours again

There is no matcha served anymore. Which makes me question why because it’s in their store name? There is no service, everything is entirely done and ordered by you. The staff will hand out the ice cream out the half closed the door. The soft serve was good but the flavour was totally ruined by the extremely stale and old waffle cone. Do not recommend this place, I was left pretty disappointed.

2024 April 3.5★ Milo ice cream cone $7 Milo flavored, sweet and creamy in a charcoal cone. Not bad. June 2021 4★ wanted to try this place for a while now. They serve very interesting and unique Asian flavors like white rabbit candy, Ovaltine and Horlicks. Added option to include edible gold or silver added to the dessert. Charcoal cone or cup. Not cremey like actual ice cream, their "ice cream" has a higher percentage of water and while still tastes very good, is very light. The. Ovaltine certainly tastes like your biting into the biscuit. You could finish eating one and go for another pretty easily. Not bad at all. Refreshing and worth checking out.

The white rabbit does taste like white rabbit and if it's your first time trying and you don't even know what that tastes like, just imagine a normal vanilla ice cream with a slightly milkier taste. I'd recommend this flavour if you are trying this for the first time. Im a big fan of Ovaltine, so I decided to try the nextbest thing, Milo. The flavour was weaker than I imagined but still good.

Before leaving Markham, my cousins and I bonded over soft serve ice cream and bubble tea at Matcha Tea and Dessert. For soft serve ice cream, they featured three flavors - White Rabbit, Milo, and Horlicks. Soft serve ice cream could be served in a cup or waffle cone. It could be served with silver or gold edible foil for an additional fee. We didn't care about the aesthetic so we got it without the foil. I'd say that both the White Rabbit and Milo had a light hint of those flavors in the soft Serve. The White Rabbit Brown Sugar Boba Tea came layered and was sweet, rich, and creamy. They were both enjoyable whether drinking it as served or drinking after mixing.

We ordered the Horlick and Milo flavoured ice cream on a charcoal cone. Horlick ice cream was really good as the Horlick flavour was strong. Milo was also good but the flavour wasn’t as strong. The 4 ice cream flavours of the week are Milo, Horlick, Ovaltine, and White Rabbit Candy. They also sell daifuku ice cream which comes in a larger range of flavours. The prices for the ice creams were quite expensive. It came to almost $15 for two regular ice creams on a cone. Overall, the ice cream tasted good but will only come once in a while as the price is steep.

Not sure what the hype is about in regards to gold film on icecream. Price for a cone of icecream is $13 which is way too high for a regular icecream in black cone with gold color film on it. You're better off eating cone from Costco at $2. Make sure you take cash since they only accept Cash.

It's been many years since I've last been to Duo, but it's still as good and clean and refreshing inside. We got the Claire and Virgo, as they were one of the few without nuts and whose flavours appealed to me. Both were tasty and i loved the apple pieces in Claire. The Virgo had a strong coffee flavour that was too much for me but people who drink coffee would appreciate. Definitely will be back to try other pastries but i am a bit disappointed that almost all their products have nuts in it, so I can really only try a few things. Otherwise great experience!

I tried the mango cake and a box of chocolates here and both were really good. The mango cake was definitely my favorite as the fruit tasted super fresh, the cream was light and smooth, and it was not overly sweet. You can tell they use good ingredients. The chocolates were also excellent with a nice variety of flavors and a rich clean finish. The café itself has a really cozy and relaxing vibe. It is the kind of place you can easily spend an afternoon chatting with friends or just enjoying a quiet coffee break. Everything is nicely presented and the staff are friendly too. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes but the quality makes up for it. Overall a great spot for dessert and coffee if you want to treat yourself or catch up with friends in a chill atmosphere.

Absolutely loved this place! The moment I walked in, I knew I was in dessert heaven. The display cases are filled with the most elegant and mouthwatering pastries and chocolates — it was almost impossible to choose. I ended up trying a few of the pastries and grabbed a cake that looked too good to pass up. The space is a bit small but clean, and welcoming, with a calm atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. I also appreciated the unique selection of beautifully packaged treats. The staff were super helpful and patient, even with a line forming. It’s clear that everything is made with love and precision. This is definitely one of those places you tell your friends about. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This is basically heaven for a sweet lover. First time going here and I didn't want to leave!! They have a wide assortment of baked goods and cakes and treats. The store is clean and well organized. I love how they have an assortment of individually wrapped treats that you can load up into a basket to buy. Everything is worth trying. I did not regret any of my choices. This is definitely a place I would visit every weekend because they have so many items to try! A must visit!!

A friend got us delicious treats from Duo on a few different occasions and their baked goods and the assorted pastries are decadent and delicious!! Love the flavour combos in the treats like mango cheesecake, raspberry and chocolate, and pistachio, and the fig Danish. Their croissants are fresh too.

Beautiful cafe with a variety of desserts and pastries. I went with the matcha canelé. The outside was crunchy, inside spongy, and had a nice strong matcha flavor. The honey oat latte was delicious as well. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy, making it pretty loud and difficult to hear the person talking in front of you.

Duo has to be my favourite Pâtisserie. They always have a great selection savoury and sweet. Must try has to be the 8 pastry is has delicious custard. Their items are always fresh. If you buy 6 items it will be tax free. 😊

cute place. no measures against cross contamination between ice creams. if you’re allergic to nuts then i wouldn’t reccomend eating here because the server used the same spoon in the pistachio as the nutella. disappointing because the flavours seemed good but i couldn’t risk my nut allergy.

It's been several years since I've been to Love Gelato, and this was my first time at this newer location. On this occasion, a friend of mine, known as DJ PTFire, was providing music for the guests on the patio. Luckily, the weather cooperated, with the exception of a very brief sprinkle. Besides the good music, I enjoyed their pizza, pistachio gelato, and some refreshing beverages. Everything was very good and the music really created a great ambiance. Cute little spot to enjoy some ice cream on a hot summer day. They have a wide variety of flavours to choose from, personally wasn’t a huge fan of the gluten free come. So would definitely come again and try the regular come.

A friend told me about this place and we decided to go for a mid lunch snack. Firstly the overall esthetic of this place is phenomenal. Its an adorable, inviting shack that really takes you back to a simpler time. Secondly the Gelato was amazing! I went for the classic Nutella and it was delicious. The only problem was I should have ordered the 2 scoop. I still have to try the other flavors. And finally the staff was just the cherry on top. They were all super friendly, very welcoming amd efficient and passionate about their product. If there is one thing I can appreciate about any food service is the passion that is associated with it. Worth another visit.

We recently booked Love Gelato for our wedding and it was such an incredible experience start to finish! Joanne and the team communicated with us in a timely manner, made things so easy to confirm, and our guests loved the service! They even surprised us with an extra flavour! Would highly recommend them for any special occasion!

Five stars. I recently visited this gelato restaurant and had an excellent experience. Paolo and his team were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. They offered tasters, explained each flavor, and helped us choose with perfect recommendations for our Love Gelato Box- which we used as “take away” gift to our guests at our daughter’s bridal shower. . Highly recommended—I'll definitely be back!

cute local gelato place, with plenty of outdoor seating. it’s tucked away on main street Markham, behind a tiny alleyway. it’s very cutely decorated with fairy lights. the gelato itself is very good! they usually have seasonal flavours as well.

I've been to this location a few times in the past, and I just want share how much I've enjoyed dining at this location. The staff are attentive, friendly, and hospitable - shout out to Avi who was super helpful and friendly. I ordered a make your own croffle, and it was so good! Will always enjoy dining at this Demetres location.

Came here for a nice late night sweet craving. Was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening. Our server Ahmed was awesome, very friendly, fast service and checked on us consistently throughout. We absolutely loves the Belgian waffles and the regular coffee was great today. Chair score 5/5 very comfortable booths and it was nice a warm in there on a cold night.

Creative Desserts and Amazing Vibes at Demetres We had a fantastic time at Demetres! Tried a great mix of their popular and limited-time desserts; Tongue Depressor, Strawberry Cheesecake, and their special “Limited Features” menu including the Bun-Afa croissant sandwich and Cone-Afa sundae with rich pistachio flavours - truly unique and delicious. The perfect ending was the Flight of Fancy - a beautifully presented platter of 10 different ice cream flavours. Every scoop had its own character, and hands down, some of the best ice cream we have ever had! The store had amazing vibes with modern, clean, and spacious with comfy seating. Great for a night out with friends or a cozy dessert date. Only downside was the long wait, which can be expected during busy hours. But honestly, the experience and quality made it worth it. Will definitely be back to try more from their creative menu 😍

Went here for dessert with my family and we really enjoyed our experience. There are lots of dessert options and the portion sizes are great. The menu was a fun read because of the puns. The ambiance is also really nice. Service was ok, could be better.

came here tonight for a sweet treat, love the aesthetics on the inside as it was vibrant and colourful. we came here closer to closing so props to our server and the rest of the team. my family and i found the dessert to be average, nothing too special. tongue depressor with belgian waffle - it was good but very very sweet and chocolatey so perfect if you’re a chocolate lover. the waffle was light and airy but it was nothing too special interstella with french crepe - this was also very airy tasting, it was light and it tasted like your regular ordinary combination of strawberry banana and nutella. good for someone who’s likes fruit and chocolate bisco fever with liege waffle - the waffle was really nice and chewy, but we found the waffle to be very small compared to the belgian waffle. perfect for biscoff lovers overall, i think its a bit too pricey for what we are getting, its definitely worth a try but not somewhere i would come back often. 3 plates plus tip costed $80

Had dessert at Demetres tonight and it was fantastic. Will was our server and he was genuinely great, super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The desserts were rich and indulgent, just what you want when you're treating yourself. Atmosphere was relaxed, and everything came out quickly. Definitely coming back.

They steal portions. They gave me thinner cake slices and the ice cream was not full pint. I had order two so when I weighed it, it wasn't a pint. It was uber order. There are additional costs that we pay as customers. Your only job is to at least pack right. Reported it to them. They gave me a run around with the management. Finally sent me a $15 gift card instead of a partial refund. I was out of country and couldn't use it because they put an expiry date. I asked for it to be extended by a month so I can return and use it. They said no. INCOMPETENT MANAGER, Incompetent division manager and Incompetent VP. It costed me $70 for two cake slices with ice-cream and they couldn't even do their job right. Who hired these people? Desserts are cravings, they are not necessity to live. So when you give your customers a run around like that then there are always other dessert spots that are happy to deliver when the customers crave that dessert. Your marketing team works so hard and all you have to do is pack the portions when their work brought the customer.

Our family orders from Toast Delight from time to time, and we absolutely love their HK egg waffles. They are always tasty and satisfying. It’s one of our go-to choices when we need to bring something to a potluck party. Their egg waffle special (2 for $6) is such a great deal too. Highly recommend!

Such a cute shop! Large menu consisting of meatballs, bubble waffles, ice creams and drinks from what I saw- but I’m sure there are more I didn’t catch! Very friendly owner/staff. They greeted me with a smile! Bubble waffles were so tasty. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Alsoooooo mine were heart shaped!!! So so so cute! Would recommend if you’re in the area!

This is the only place you should go to when you're in the area! The couple are so sweet, hardworking, kind, welcoming, friendly, and overall the best! The waffles are delicious and prepared perfectly for you! There are so many options that you want to try them all! Don't just take my word for it! Try them for yourself! You won't regret it! Otherwise, still decent. 2021 4★ A small selection of street style sweets in a corner location of a mall. Well priced and delicious. Egg waffles are one of the best nearby with lots of flavor choices.

Always a fan of a hole in the wall places. This place is run by a sweet older couple. We tried their mango and banana ice cream, hk coffee &tea. All were great. They make their own ice cream and for $4 you can't go wrong with it. They have some awesome flavors which I will try down the road now that I have found this place. This place is on top of the T&T store..

The food is amazing, and sometimes me and my little sister gets a free mini freezie! The owners are extremely nice and respectful, the food wait is decent, and the variety of food and drinks there with such a limited space is genuinely mind blowing!! There are no tables there which is fine, but the space there can get cramped sometimes. Either way, the atmosphere isn't the best! But the food and service is definitely on point

We ordered two ice creams, and while the taste was average but good. The highlight is definitely the making process. Watching the ice cream turn into rolls is entertaining, especially for kids and picking toppings,too - playful. There're many flavors and toppings and sauces to choose from, the process is simple : pick your ice cream flavor, the staff makes it into rolls, then you get to choose two complimentary toppings and sauce. The service was friendly and welcoming. The store is small, and with many tables and chairs inside, it does look a bit crowded - but I understand that since there're often many families with kids visiting. Still a fun stop for a treat and I'd come back if in the area.

We ordered Banana Nutella Bubble Rolled Waffles along with Blueberry, Strawberry cheese cake and Cotton Candy rolled ice cream. They have variety of flavors and toppings. Ahmed helped with our order and his service was good. We went around 7pm, it was not so crowded. The shop is open from 6pm to 11pm on weekdays, so it will be a great option for your late evening cravings!

Of course the kids LOVE the experience! Choose the flavours, check how they mix and match everything in that icy table, it’s really nice. They use fresh fruits for the fruity flavours, that is a plus. The final product is smaller than you would get on a regular ice cream shop, but you won’t get half the experience! It’s definitely not a place I would go regularly, but worth the travel if you haven’t tried! A bit too sweet for me to be honest, I had the chocolate brownie one 🙂 but it was good. Place is really small, but during summer they have outdoors seating, and that region is really nice to just seat and enjoy.

While visiting town from DUBAI we had the most amazing ice cream experience. Staff are awesome and the quality is scrumptious. Must try this hidden gem in Markham. Plus point: they are open till 11 pm ❤️‌

We tried mint and saffron ice cream. Mint didn’t taste right like regular mint. Left a horrible after taste. Saffron ice cream they didn’t use saffron they used an oil instead and they also used milk power. Not something you’d expect to taste on your ice cream. I felt sick after having the ice cream. We were not happy with the flavours tooo sweet and artificial taste left us feeling sick.

Butter Baker in Markham is a cute little shop tucked away in an industrial area, giving it a hidden gem kind of feel. The space is cozy with lots of little trinkets to browse, though I did find myself wishing they offered more pastry options. I tried the shortbread cookies in a jar ($10.50) along with a latte. The cookies were absolutely addictive - finished the whole jar in a day - and paired perfectly with the coffee. The latte itself was smooth and well-balanced. Overall, a charming spot that feels special despite its location. While I’d love to see a bigger pastry selection, the quality of what they do offer makes it worth the visit. I’d definitely come back.

Ordered a cake for Mother's day, as we've enjoyed cakes here before. I ordered and picked up the cake easily. Really nice that the cashier offers complimentary candles! Unfortunately the cake must've melted a bit once we got home as it was slightly mushy but otherwise really good cake! Loved how light it was and soft!! Also love their soft serve, probably the best I've had.

Just a heads up, you might want to prepare for a bit of a wait, as their service can be on the slower side. But don’t worry—they prioritize quality over speed, and it’s definitely worth it!

I will give credit for all the other times I've been here, the ice cream is usually very good. HOWEVER, this time the cone melted faster than the ice cream that was already melting. The cone disintegrated and the wet ice cream went everywhere. The ice cream was still decent but I had to eat it out of my hands.... I'm not sure if that is worth $8.

Their cake slices are amazing!! Not too sweet but so flavourful, literally melts in your mouth. Their portions for icecream are also great, you can definitely share it between 2 people.

Update: They've extended their hours! (management must've read my review hehe ... jk) Anyways, my friends and I have made the bad habit of coming back every month when they change up their soft serve flavour of the month. August was mango lassi and it's become my fave flavour already. Better than pina colada which I thought was fantastic (it's just so hard to beat anything mango honestly). And yes, extension of that closing time by an hour means we arrived and they were making fresh waffle cones! HURRAYYYY! These waffle cones are sooo good. You can see the staff making em right behind the order counter. The initial bite is crunchy but once you start chewing the cone gets so soft and just melts in your mouth. Different mouth feel from some more commercial shops which have mega hard waffle cones that aren't usually made that day. It's hard to explain what I'm saying but the waffle cones are a must here. --------------------------------------------------- The triple chocolate cookies and seasonal/monthly soft serve rotation are soooo good. It's true that the downtown location has more selection but the soft serve is what I really come to butter baker for anyways so it's all good lol. For June 2025, the flave of the month was pina colada. It had hints of pineapple, mango, passionfruit and coconut running through the twist. So refreshing and tasty! Unfortunately for me and my crew, it was around 4:30/5 pm-ish when we arrived and all the waffle cones had already been sold out so we had to get our soft serve by the cup which was a bummer (they make each cone fresh and you can see them molding the cone shapes as they get pressed out hot). No seating inside but there's several benches outside on the front lawn next to a tree.

Flavours of Unionville, nestled at 155 Main St, Unionville, Markham, is a charming family-owned ice cream shop that delivers a delightful experience. I savored their vanilla ice cream, which was creamy, smooth, and bursting with natural vanilla flavor, not overly sweet. The chocolate ice cream was equally impressive, rich with deep cocoa notes and a perfect indulgent texture. The outdoor benches add nostalgic charm, ideal for enjoying treats while strolling Main Street. Service was friendly and quick. I’m eager to try their renowned pistachio gelato next!

Pretty much an institution on Main Street Unionville, and kind of has the inside track on the gelato on Main Street now that the firehall closed down. Place is always busy, even on a relatively cooler day. Lots of different flavours available. Order at the left window, and wait to grab your order from the right window. A few benches to sit on as well as a couple small tables. All outside. We tried the Ferraro, Toasted S'mores, and the Bacio gelato. To be honest, the Ferraro flavour was a little bit disappointing, didn't seem to really get that Ferraro flavour. But the other two flavours were really solid.

We visited Flavours Unionville and tried two ice cream cones. One had pistachio and tiramisu—both were tasty, but nothing out of this world. The other had Ferrero (which was our favorite) and s’mores (also good, though a bit too sweet). One of the nice things about this place is the variety of flavors and textures available, including soft ice cream, gelato, and yogurt-based options. The shop seemed quite popular, with several people waiting in line. There were a few chairs to sit and enjoy your treat, and the area around it is beautiful, with colorful flowers. That said, we found the prices to be a little high.

We tried the Affogato, Double Chocolate ice cream, and Dubai Chocolate ice cream. While the Double Chocolate had a decent taste, it was overly sweet with small ice crystals inside. The Dubai Chocolate was unexpectedly salty and less enjoyable. The Affogato lacked depth and quality. Overall, the pricing felt a bit high—around $8 per item. A mixed experience.

Stopped by on a rainy day and was impressed by the wide variety of options, from gelato and frozen yogurt to ice cream and more. There’s truly something for everyone! The range of flavors is incredible, so I’ll definitely be back to try more. It’s also a super cute spot with an adorable patio, perfect for sitting and enjoying your treat.

Flavors of Unionville is an absolute gem! I had the Mocha Espresso Frappuccino, and it was perfectly balanced — rich, smooth, and refreshing. The music created the perfect backdrop, adding a relaxing yet lively vibe, and the cozy, welcoming environment made me want to stay for hours. Every detail felt so thoughtfully put together. Definitely a well-deserved five stars!

I had the Dubai chocolate , we tried a lot of different flavours , you cannot sample however they offer lots of flavours . They didn’t have a sugar cone !

I got the boiled egg dessert while my wife got the sweet walnut thick soup. The boiled egg dessert was quite good and very silky smooth. It's quite a bit more yellow-looking than most other places though, which I thought was a bit weird. The walnut soup, I didn't really like (but my wife did). It was very watery and a bit separate from walnut where as typically it's served as a thick paste almost. This felt very soupy and not at all what I've come to expect from this type of dessert.

Really good traditional chinese desserts. They got a large menu selection and is really busy. Portions are decent and it isn't too sweet for those who are more health conscious. Definitely a step above others (like the one in Scarborough). They got the traditional tables and stools to give nostalgic vibes.

Another fabulous outing at Tracy desert. Tonight we came for night fight after movies an order number of savory dishes as well as desserts for everybody. Although the place was crowded we only had a short 15-minute wait and we got a fabulous table. And all of the dishes were cooked to perfection! Always a treat to come to Tracy desert.

Traditional Chinese dessert spot that’s been around for years. It’s always a go to spot as it’s opened late. They serve a sweet hot tea when sit down but never comes by to refill. We wanted some sweets after dinner and we decided to come to Tracy Dessert! I ordered the Mango & Pomelos with sago cream (it was delicious except for the pomelos on top) I would skip the pomelos next time because it gave a little bitter flavor to the sago! My friend ordered the Mango Pudding with milk and papaya on top (not much flavor in this dessert except for the mango pudding)!

Bowen & Thayne here to try out the Tracy Desert place and it was fabulous !! Love going to places 1st time and having a blast of yummy food we bought the rice noodle taste like peanut butter soy sauce and hot sauce and it was soooo yummy !!! Then we had the ice shavings woth three different fruits kiwi strawberry and mango the kiwi was my favourite a ton of flavour and the ice shaving flavour taste like cold fudge soo yummy !! Well done Tracy!! I’d rate the desert 9/10 5/5 just a great way to end the night

I've been visiting this location for 8+ years, and every visit was a satisfying experience! If you’re a fan of Asian-inspired desserts, this place is a must-try. I usually order the Black sticky rice with taro and pearl delight, as well as the Black sesame flavor sweet dumplings - both absolutely delicious. The black sticky rice had the perfect texture and just the right amount of sweetness, with the taro adding a comforting, creamy contrast. The pearls gave it a fun chewy bite that brought the whole dessert together. The black sesame dumplings were warm, rich, and full of that nutty sesame flavor that’s hard to resist. The vibe of the place is casual and cozy, and the staff are friendly. I always come back when I’m craving for Asian desserts!

The dessert was delicious but I wouldn’t say the waitress was that friendly. It was a bit loud when we went but overall would still return because the dessert is so delicious. We came around 8pm when it was very busy so it was a bit loud in there. Overall, it was okay! If you like Bingsu shaved Ice you’d love this.

We were trying to get a snack near midnight. They were the only one still open in First Markham Place. Dinner and dessert menu were still available. We went for dessert. They use a QR code self ordering system. We ordered a French toast, glutinous rice balls and cold strawberry mix. French toast was good. Rice balls were luke warm only. Strawberry mix was okay.

Friendly atmosphere , we ordered sesame waffle with sesame ice cream and mango, durian with grassjelly, mango sago and grass jelly and mango shaved icecream. The shaved icecream was the best, waffle second and then the other two. Shaved icecream was enough to have with 4 people. Only desert that didn't go as our expectation was the mango sago. I felt it was a bit spoiled and tasted bad.

The desserts were good, the staff was friendly. The restaurant itself is a bit small so there's quite a bit of wait time when they are really busy. We enjoyed our desserts, real comfort food

We were there for dessert, and we loved the variety! They have something for everyone's taste! My favourite was the blackgrass jelly with mango and coconut milk! I recommend trying this one as it was light and refreshing, and it hit the spot! Also, try their shaved ice!

We tried two desserts 😊 Fresh Mango with Pearl Delight was a little bit bitter. i don't know because of mango or pearl. Tiramisu Cheesecake was good. We tried before sweet milk pudding, and we liked that. We were looking for desert having less sweetness, so next time we will try something else. Service was too good and clean place. Walk in on weekend night. This place has a lot of seating area and it’s not busy. Desert is ok but had better one. We got seated for table of 8. Waited 5 mins and we end up getting the menu ourself an e staff is busy with things. Solid 3 stars overall. The menu choices is limited and price is on the high side.

We visited at noon on a Sunday. There were plenty of table available. It was 34 degree outside and the AC was comfortable. We ordered a few lunch combos which included an entree, a drink and a dessert. Most of the entree arrived shortly after ordering. The steam rice took almost 20 minutes. It came out after everybody finished their meals. The dessert was almond dessert soup. The lunch entrees were just okay. The beef brisket wasn't very tender. The pork belly was okay.

We went there on a Sunday and left satisfied! My favorite was the mango pillow dessert posted in the photo. It was light creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. The lady there was so friendly and caring. Thank you so much for the wonderful dessert and service we loved it!

The food was really disappointing. The service was not bad, but I just can’t accept such food, especially with have to paid 12% service charge. I paid over ten dollars for a bowl of coconut sago dessert, but there were barely any pearls in it — it was basically just canned coconut milk. Definitely not worth to come!Wasting consumers' time!

Stick with the dessert, tried out the rice bowl, it's too hard and too oil for pork belly. Didn't know they can held "party" booking. Only time I went and it was pack with entire village, kids running around / fighting, like they are back home, when paying the bills they are AA paying, thought they are family. Dessert part is pretty fresh, small portions. It's good for date / snacks.

I enjoyed dining here, portion was very good, and the quality of the meal was better than expected. Only complaint was the lemon tea tasted like water… The 1 star was removed because of the mandatory 12% tip, which gave me no option to avoid tipping a percentage on (Tax). I think tip should be up to the customer’s decision.. Otherwise service and food is good if you’re looking for a quick bite.

My recent visit to Tiny Tom Donuts was awesome! Getting to watch the donuts being made right in front of me was a really cool experience. The donuts were so fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be stopping by again anytime I'm in the area.

I visited Tiny Tom Donut was 6 years ago(2018). I finally revisited today, because the other days I didn’t have time to visit. I bought 3 dozen and get a 4th dozen free. Those donuts are so delicious!!

Went here today for the first time. Super fast service and donuts were piping hot. Delicious. Went back in 5 mins later and bought another dozen. Great for kids and families to share for a picnic, snack, treat or whatever. Fabulous and friendly service.

Came in for some freshly deep fried donuts to cheer the kids up, and it’s not disappointing. The donuts were made in front of me and 4 flavors to choose from. The owner is super nice and explained the deal to me : Buy 3 dozen donuts and get the fourth dozen donuts free. It’s hot and fresh, only thing is too much sugar for me, next time will ask for less flavour sugar on donuts.

My first time eating Tiny Tom donuts and it was delicious! You can get 8 donuts for $4.50 or 12 donuts for $12.00. Flavours are: chocolate, apple n' cinnamon, icing sugar and cinnamon. I had eight apple n' cinnamon donuts and they were so fresh and warm, I finished them on the drive home. My boyfriend had eight chocolate and those were tasty too. He had some leftover the following day and they still tasted very fresh.

I couldn’t believe you can get your hands on these doughnuts outside the CNE and Canada’s Wonderland. It brought a lot of childhood memories and joy. There are delicious as I have remembered them. I bet you can’t just have one. I like the fact they make a fresh batch right in front of your eyes. It gives you an idea of how doughnuts are made. I found out about them when someone brought them to work the other day. Blessed their hearts. It comes in different flavours including the old classic flavour of cinnamon sugar. I took photos of their brochure. It looks like they cater at different events. I will definitely be visiting their store front in the near future.

More than just Cakes and Burgers ! We stopped at this location to get an Ice Cream cake for an upcoming family event. The Cake were ordered needed some modifications and the wonderful staff made them while we waited. We have been running around all day and decided to have a snack. I have tried their burgers before and wanted to try something else. I ordered a Chicken Strip Basket with Buffalo Sauce and a drink. The Chicken was better than I thought it would be and so were the fries. We all had our snacks right around the time the cake was ready, The Chicken Basket hit the spot and it's something I may try again on another visit.

Nice Dairy Queen location. Good tasting ice cream. Good service, though it gets busy, and sometimes the wait can be long. They have a drive thru too!

Ordered a custom ice cream birthday cake here, very nice experience, the yonge gentleman who answered the phone was very patient and polite. The cake is super delicious, just a little bit hard to cut, might need unfreezing a while before cutting.

I ordered a cake online for my daughter's birthday, it was suppose to be ready for 11am. I arrived at 2pm and my cake was not ready. Instead of owning up to it the first person decided to be deceptive and say that they can't put the name on it and put it in the freezer. The icing doesn't freeze. Then the next person came to say that they don't put the customization on because people don't show up. I understand procedure but being dishonest is not ok. It's not good customer service. Would not use this location again.

There is parking. The restaurant is clean and so was the washroom. The food was tasty hot and fresh. I had the double burger, it was very good. The onion rings were fresh and crispy too. The only complaint is it took a long time to get our burgers, other than that it was a good place for a snack. The staff were friendly. If the food had of come faster, they would have gotten the 5 star rating.

I want to give a big thank you to the team at Dairy Queen for their honesty and kindness. I had accidentally left my wallet behind during a visit, and they not only kept it safe but also made sure it was returned to me promptly. Their honesty and helpful attitude truly stood out, and I’m very grateful for the way they handled the situation. Aside from that, the service was great, the place was clean, and of course — the burger I had was delicious, even though I usually go for their chicken salad! Thanks again to the amazing staff for going above and beyond. It’s not every day you come across that kind of integrity. Highly recommend this location!

Amazing experience at this DQ location last week, they customized the ice cream cake with a personal message as requested and accommodated the request within a quick time frame. Manpreet & Kiran helped me out and they were very kind!! Highly recommend

The owner is very welcoming and the menu is self explaintory, so it's great for everyone. The egg pudding is unique that they bowl is made out of a real egg shell. The desserts are the typical Chinese style desserts with fruits and different types of jellies. There is a snack and food menu so it's not a bad place to end the night.

Obviously the one in Toronto is far better in terms of setting and truthfully dessert options as well. However though, nothing too short of it being bad! Lovely place, staff are nice but unpleasantly awkward. It's just a great place to come down to meet up and study.

This is the only place that I can find that has baked pudding... it's a little too dry but the taste is pretty good. The egg pudding is pretty cute but taste is just ok.

This is a small restaurant with decent desserts and drinks. Nothing extraordinary or too special about this place. The prices are quite expensive as well. The mango dessert with icecream, mochi balls, and lychee was tasty and had enough to share for two! The maltesers mochi however was very dry and chewy and just not good at all; one of the balls even had a malteser missing in the middle. Okay to try out different kinds of desserts once, but not more than that.

Dessert Kitchen offers products at a higher standard than the competition for a lesser price. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff that were attentive to our needs and questions. More importantly, the quality of their ingredients (we had the creme brulee and green tea molten) combined together for a final product that few places in GTA can offer. Plus it's cheaper too. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

Lovely place for girls meet up! They have a huge menu (from snacks, to rice to soup to hot/cold dessert and bubble tea/herbal tea). We ordered two savory snacks, rose tea to share and a sweet walnut soup dessert. The savory snacks were so so, the walnut soup and rose tea was great. Would return to try out other items on their menu. I also find the pricing to be very reasonable.

!!! NEVER ORDER CAKES FROM HERE (Look at the attached photos) !!! $78 (pre-tax) for terrible quality !!! I ordered a cake for my friend’s bridal shower (Saturday) and went to pick it up the evening prior - what I ordered and what I received are drastically different. This cake shop LITERALLY has a photo for reference and this is what I ended up with: 1) The shade of the flowers and leaves are not even the same - what is on their website is light, pastel, and floral while what I received was tacky neon orange, bright pink, and bright green. This level of quality is what I expect from very old supermarkets… 2) Just look at the piping of the leaves! It is not even the same shape! The pink ones are also very different - you can see where they stopped the piping bag and it looks like the work of a beginner who is learning how to use a piping bag. See how the orange “roses” are poorly made - the baker didn’t even care to clean off the edges and just treated it like side-layered icing. Speaking of cleaning edges, they didn’t even care to clean the green icing off of the edges that shouldn’t have green! 3) Why is the surface of icing uneven on the top and the sides?! Why does the decorative component take up half of the cake instead of one-third (like the photo)? On a Friday evening with no other cake shops that can accept an order for the following morning, I am forced to take this cake. It is utterly embarrassing that I have to bring this to a function - even more so when it is surrounded by family and friends of my good friend. I am willing to pay for a good cake because I know how competitive it is out there; and surely, there are so many other cake shops that can do a better job and we chose them because of what we saw on their website! This place is a scam!!! I did not even want to pick this up or pay for this, but then I will be left without a cake for my friend’s special day, so I am forced to accept - the baker and the manager were not available to speak to. Even if you gave me this ugly cake for free, it will not make up for the fact that I have to present this joke. Even if it was free, I will 100% pick another cake shop that will be able to do what they show. Would it be possible that they’re using an image of a cake that is not even theirs? Possibly, and that would be false advertising. Now, if you ask why didn’t I go check how it looks in-person before I ordered? All their cake styles are not always readily available for you to view. Don’t order from here or else you’ll be like me: stuck with this cheap-looking and gaudy cake right before an important event.

Ordered a birthday cake from here (matcha jasmine yuzu cake). They offer a green or pink colour of the cake, and we opted for the pink which came in a beautiful baby pink colour. In terms of flavour, cake wasn’t too sweet which was great and the mousse was light and airy. We wish the matcha flavour was stronger as the yuzu was way too strong. Not bad overall.

Their desserts are fusion of asian and french which by the way is the best fusion ever existed. We got the black sesame noir (mountain) which was good. I appreciate the detail. You cut into it and it looks like a piece of art even on the inside like those fancy desserts you see in the food channel. I also like their summer special fruit tea drink. Just dont get coffee at these places (lets leave that to the italians). Must try. Would come back to try other desserts soon. I see they also have mooncakes and other aesthetic desserts you normally would see in Asian cafes like in Korea or Japan.

I tried their mini cakes and I loved it! The flavours were very delicious and it wasn’t too sweet which was perfect for me. Definitely will be coming back for more.

The cake looked just like the picture online—really pretty! The taste wasn’t as fresh as I hoped, a bit dry and hard, but the cream was nice. The lady at the store was super sweet and even gave us warm water when my kid coughed. I’d love to come back and try other cakes, especially the lime one.

PASTRY: they're all super cute and very creative, design wise and flavour wise. I'm so in love with Orange de Terre and Earl Grey Pear. They have amazing flavor combinations. The mango cloud is good too. Sesame Noir is not some flavor that I'm too familiar with so to me it's just interesting but not the best. SERVICE: the staff were patient and friendly. VIBE: super nice store. Interior gives a very upscale and elegant vibe. The place is really clean.

I ordered the Matcha Jasmine Yuzu cake for my mom’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly, one of the best cakes my family and I have ever had (and that’s saying a lot because I don’t even like cake). The matcha flavor was rich and deep, with a delicate hint of jasmine and yuzu that came through beautifully. It was light, not overly sweet, and so easy to enjoy—we ended up finishing the whole cake in one sitting. The ordering process was seamless too. I placed the order two weeks in advance and called a couple of days before pickup to confirm. The customer service was excellent—super friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person at pickup.

Cozy café with a nice atmosphere. Their cakes are delicious, though a bit pricey. The Dirty coffee and croissant were decent, but overall a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy dessert.

My sister and I went here for our mini date. Cute and cozy spot on Main Street, Markham. We ordered an iced matcha latte, pistachio latte, peach pastry and the mushroom brie. The Mushroom brie was so good! Will definitely come back for it again, and also to try other sweet pastries.

Best pastries and desserts I’ve ever tried! Everything was super delicate, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious!!! The place is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating, which made it really comfortable to hang out and enjoy the food. Big bonus: there’s free parking too! Can’t wait to go back and try more🥰

Chris and the Cho-Kwok Lat team were kind enough to let us have our bridal shower party at the cafe. All the guests loved the pastries and raved about the drinks. Everyone seemed to have a raspberry lychee soda at the end. It was the perfect space to gather and celebrate. Highly recommend the mushroom danish and the sausage one

Loved the mushroom and cheese pastry. Rich truffle flavor, creamy cheese, but not too heavy, with perfectly crispy, flaky layers. Delicious!

Thank you Chris for allowing us to host our bridal shower at Cho Kwok Lat! The cute pastries, cakes, and drinks were a huge hit with all of our guests, and cafe was the perfect size for pur party!

Feels like a local family-owned business. Lots of fresh and frozen goods. Tried the pistachio gelato which was so-so. That said, it was only like $4, so I guess not bad for the price. Tiramisu was also alright, feels like there’s something missing. Cheesecake tarts were very dense, so if that’s what you like, give it a try!

Gorgeous cake for the price! I added the candles + the birthday sign, but they also do writing for free. The red ribbon they add is such a nice touch. The cake did taste a bit dry and wasn’t the best tiramisu I’ve had but it was decent. Overall would go again and try another one of their cakes.

The pastries and bakery are incredible. The selection is out of this world. If you want great price and quality, visit Novello Desserts, you will have a very happy belly! My kids loved the gelato, we also enjoyed a cappucino and espresso. The pastries and biscotti are so fresh, reminds me of Italy.

I've gotten 2 birthday cakes here and they were both gorgeous and good! FYI, unless you get one off the shelf you'll need to give them a couple days' notice. Other than that, some prices on specialty items have a higher mark-up than other places but it's well worth it to support local. It has a nice European feel as well.

Grace and her team at Novello Desserts is absolutely amazing! Her bakery is truly a gem, she has been my go-to for every special occasion. For our wedding, she created the most beautiful and delicious butter cream cake with lemon butter cream filling. Not only was it stunning to look at, but every bite was perfection and had both our mothers asking us for leftovers. I can’t recommend Novello Desserts enough!

nothing is better than a freshly baked loaf of bread from novellos. from baguettes to sourdough they have it all. They also have a great pizza dough that I love using in the pizza oven! They also have a selection of cakes perfect for a birthday or party! service is always friendly and great! a true gem of Markham!

The ice cream cake here was really unique and yummy. The mirror glaze makes it look like the cakes have a hard shell, but they're actually softer than they look, and there's a nice filling inside too! My friends and I went for afternoon tea, which is served in a small upstairs seating area; it's a cozy, but airy and bright space, and service was friendly. The afternoon tea was cocoa themed this time, so everything incorporated some form of chocolate. We enjoyed the mini ice cream cakes the most, which makes sense given that it is their specialty! There were some unique flavours and interesting savory items, but the bread for the sandwiches and the scones were kind of dry. Overall, I'd go back again for the ice cream or ice cream cake, and it's a good option for afternoon tea if you're in the area, but it wouldn't be on the top of my list of the different places I've tried in the past.

Boréal Gâteau & Creamery is located in Markham, ON is a lovely 😊 place to be. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There’s an parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the nice indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. 

The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following 🆙.

Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

This is my second visit to this cute and cozy ice cream cafe. The ice cream cakes and ice cream flavors are so good and so creative. Me and my husband lived in NYC for eighteen years, this little creamery reminds me of the quaint little eateries in the West Village. Very downtown neighborhood friendly feel. We tried the Yuzu, Lavender, Campfire Smoke flavor ice cream, and Raspberry Lemonade, Black Sesame ice cream mini cake. Delicious😋 Will come again 👍

Cakes are super cute and the flavours on point! Each cake is the about the size of a closed fist, which is PERFECT since no other place carries 'snackable' ice cream cakes! They also carry normal scoop ice cream in some fun flavours such as strawberry pocky and Hojicha, and in tub pints to take home. The small seating area above only has about 4 tables that sit 2, but it's very clean and very private. For cakes I recommend the 3CD as it's basically coffee ice cream with a cookie base and the raspberry cheesecake sorbet - both were delicious. The yuzu soda also wasn't bad and tasted like a lemon/citrus soda

Opened by a pastry chef Daisy Ng (formerly at Patria, Laduree & Daan Go ), Boreal Gateau specializes in 5 inch or 7 inch artisanal ice cream cakes made to order, ice cream filled macarons, mini glazed cakes, mochi ice cream, ice cream filled cream puffs, and of course, scoops of delicious ice cream. Ice cream cake flavours include London Fog (earl grey), 3CD (coffee flavoured), Goma Noir (black sesame), Matzuki (matcha red bean), Chocolate Caramel Truffle, and PB&J (latter two are self explanatory). They also have options to create vegan cakes such as Mango Colada (mango sorbet with coconut ice cream) and Raspberry Lemonade (raspberry and lemon sorbets). The cakes are a work of art! Some 5 inch cakes were available on the day of my visit. They also have a big selection of mini ice cream cakes ($8.50) available for immediate purchase. 7 inch cakes require 2 days advance notice and serve 8-10 people. Delivery is available in the GTA. Daisy allowed me to sample a few ice cream/sorbet flavours. The campfire smoke flavour has a definite unique smokiness, with a hint of savouriness. The hazelnut chocolate chip was my favourite of those sampled, and so I purchased a prepackaged pint ($12) to enjoy at home. I also tried the Ribena sorbet, and enjoyed the strong blackcurrant flavour. I also purchased the Ruby (Ruby chocolate ice cream, with Ribena sorbet centre) mini cake as the ruby feuilletine crust is unique compared with the graham or chocolate crumb crusts of the other cakes. They have a cute seating area upstairs. I will definitely be back to sample the Lavender ice cream and try more of the cakes.

From service to quality to image, they totally knocked ur out of the park! Starting with the image, the cakes just look phenomenal with that entremet that engulfs the little domes of ice cream cakes. The shine is just perfect and literally reflects like a mirror. The quality is awesome. The taste of the flavours of all the cakes just comes out so well. They make their ice cream in house and you can tell how much effort goes into making these taste as great as it can be. The Earl grey has a nice tea flavour and the black sesame with that gritty texture we all know of yet with that distinct flavour. The service, is so awesome. Always ready to help, and totally patient with the customer as they have so many great options of ice cream flavours and treats. If you get the chance to o, take a look in the freezer for those treats! Great job overall and an excellent addition to the Main Street unionville area! Super cute dessert place! They only recently opened but have already a well established fanbase (myself included!). Boréal Gâteau specializes in ice cream and ice cream cakes, having a wide variety of flavours, including smoked tea (which tastes like bacon, strangely enough) and ribena sorbet. I highly recommend their lavender or matcha flavours for regular ice cream, but definitely go for the mango passion for a cake. They also offer beverages, like coffee and hot chocolate. I strongly, strongly recommend getting their black sesame latte - it's the best I've ever had!

Good deserts on a charming historical street in Unionville. I occasionally get the pecan pie from Sweetie Pie in Toronto. This time I found there wasn’t nearly enough pecans in the pie, to qualify as a pecan pie. Still delicious but I’ll have to inspect the pie better before purchasing next time. Gooey, ooey and oozing with flavour whilst baked to perfection, these are one of THE best cookies in the GTA and possibly that I have ever had, period. Absolutely delicious 5oz MONSTER cookies with attitude and a great variety of flavours which leaves you stoked. The show stopper was the white chocolate birthday cake, super yum trust me!! It's hard to see in the photos, but the slightly less-cooked filling of these cookies give them a delicious moist texture and the perfect ratio you look for. One of the rad things I love about these cookies, is that they don't taste overly sugary or 'heavy' and instead fresh and made with fantastic high-quality ingredients which leaves you feeling great after nomming down. However, this is a downfall for me in the same sense as it leaves me hanking for more! Thank you Sweetie Pie, you are awesome!! Support Canadian business!

Service and food used to be amazing. Noticed a change in staff. One staff was on a phone call the entire time and kept getting what we ordered wrong. Few months later we came back and she was so rude. Waffle cones were stale, scoops were tiny. she was giving our ice cream to the wrong people, and there was no napkin on the waffle cone so she just handed me the raw cone with the same glove she was using for everything else. I'm incredibly disappointed because I used to come here quite often. Gone downhill a lot

The strangest experience I’ve had at an ice cream store. First time at this place as I have been going to a few others. The person working was rude and tried making me feel dumb asking for a sample as they said no where in Markham does but I’ve grown up here and never been denied a sample. Why would I buy a flavour I’ve never tried? Also my waffle cone was extremely stale and tasted days old. The paper on the cone stuck to half of it and couldn’t even eat it without paper residue. Never coming back here.

This was my first time visiting. There was a lack of service because we were seated at a table without being served any water. No staff came by to check on us, and I wasn’t sure if I had to order at the counter or wait for a staff to come to our table. I finally lost my patience and lined up at the counter to place my order. I sat back down and had to wave someone down for water. I ordered a Chicken Breast Salad and a Seafood Pasta. Both tasted great, but the pasta was missing some cheese for better taste. I may come back for dinner because they have a promo that offers free ice cream and drink after 5pm.

I had such a great experience here! The avocado toast on black bread was amazing — creamy avocado, perfectly soft-boiled eggs, and fresh cherry tomatoes with a drizzle of slightly spicy sauce. Food was good, a little on the pricey side. The pasta was cooked and in my friend’s words: ‘not bad.’ I agree with her in that sense—my prosciutto panini was good, but I’ve had better food for less during my cafe crawl. They were very busy when we came at 1:30-ish, so it took a while for us to get menus or be served. However, the atmosphere is great for studying, staff is friendly, and they have an interesting variety of drinks and food. Definitely recommend as a study fare :)

The Vibe takes you away yo heaven, you won't believe how cozy it is to be here, food was amazing, and very stylishly designed, I had shrimp Benedict and my friend had sausage Benedict, which was awesome. At first glance, I thought it was just a dessert shop, but actually, their burgers, hot dogs, and fries are excellent, with very unique flavor combinations. The portions for the main dishes are small, which is perfect since they also serve large desserts that are great for sharing. It’s ideal for us with small appetites who want a half portion of the main dish but must have dessert. I love their Funnel cake – so many flavor options! I plan to go back a few times to try them all. Their drinks are also pretty good.

Our experience at this place was very disappointing. The table wasn’t properly cleaned, and the cleaner bottle was empty, the waiter didn’t bother to refill it. We waited a long time to place our order, he only came after noticing me walking toward the cashier. When he finally brought the dirty utensils on his hands!! he placed them directly on the dirty table, who knows if he washed his hands before touching them? They should have been placed on a plate with napkins. Additionally, the knife he brought had fingerprints on it, and the plate for my hot chocolate was broken, which is completely unacceptable. Napkins were only provided after we asked. We ordered milk cake, but when we requested a spoon, he brought a disposable wooden one that couldn’t even be used to drink the milk properly, for dine-in, a proper spoon should have been provided. Overall, we didn’t feel comfortable eating due to the dirty table and poor service. To make matters worse, we waited a long time for the bill. There was only one payment machine, and we had to wait for a group of customers to pay their own bills before finally getting the chance to pay ours. The combination of slow service, unclean tables, and lack of basic attention made this visit very unpleasant.

We came here for lunch for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. The atmosphere is so fun! Our server was great! Prices were reasonable and all our food and drinks were enjoyable.

I had gone to another smaller location years ago and didn’t think much of it, but I was with a party that wanted to check out this location. We were shocked that they have such an extensive menu. There’s so many options. Desserts plus hot foods. Food was great. Service was amazing. The guys working were all so friendly and nice. I’m not even a desserts person but I really like their menu. Honestly, I wish I knew about this place sooner. I’d come back and try the savory foods too.

We ordered a thank you berry much crepe and Cookie Monster waffle… the ice cream was too sweet and had a highly artificial flavour and melted very quickly for some reason, which made everything feel gross. The crepe and waffle itself was okay but the ice cream ruined the experience… not worth $22 each. The service was good but the atmosphere felt very cheap with an aquarium blue colour scheme and the restaurant being a sit down restaurant felt like a mismatch in atmosphere. My glass of water was also foggy and felt dirty. The menu was also extremely large and made us overstimulated and made it difficult to decide. Overall disappointed and will not be coming back.

The banana banoffee brûlée crepe was amazing. Sweet and salty feels. Perfect for sharing. Not too high in calories compared to all the other treats on the menu.

I came here a week ago for dessert at around 9PM—11PM with a bunch of friends. The portions were fulfilling and were enough to share between two people. Shaved ice was delicious, however, when I tried to play the board games they offered it was sticky and old. Other than the board games, my overtime here was great!

Delicious! I come here wayyy too often and their desserts are so addictive. I normally get their signature icy grass jelly that comes with chewy taro balls and I add tapioca. If you’re vegan or non dairy you can omit the cream 🥰

Both of them were huge, typical, but this time lack of toppings and milk sauce, also lack of flavour, unlike the fist one we had on Wednesday afternoon. Most of us think we were just eating plain crushed ice with mushy Q balls and bobbas. Probably they had been sitting in warm water for a long time that make them slimy and soft. So... probably if you want to get a good one, don't come at night? ‐--------------------- Taiwanese rough shaved ice with fresh toppings. Good large portion to share with 3-4 people.

They have a wide selection of drinks and desserts. Most of what we ordered was made well, except the drinks which were very sweet. The milk tea series bowl looked different from the pictures but tasted great with many toppings inside. There’s many tables inside so it’s a great hang out spot.

I go there to get some Grass Jelly today, and I asked to swap the rice balls for taro paste！ taro paste! I can’t eat the chewy ones ‘cause of my teeth! But guess what? They still gave me the regular taro balls! I got it to go, so I didn’t even notice until I got home. And I even paid extra for that switch to taro mash! This is straight-up a scam!

A party of four visited Lucky Seafood House on an Easter Monday evening. We recognized that the restaurant was more spacious than her previous place. Ordered four dishes (sticky rice with preserved sausage, deep fried pork chop, chicken with broth vegetables, garoupa head and belly with scallop and ginger in hot pot). The ingredients were fresh, and the quality of the food was great. Chicken was slightly over. Tried Lucky Seafood House for dim sum, and it was an okay experience overall. The food was decent but a bit inconsistent — some dishes were fresh and tasty, while others felt a little overcooked or lacking flavor. Service was friendly but a bit rushed, and the restaurant was quite busy, which made it a little hard to get refills or extra items. Prices are reasonable, and portions are good, but there’s room for improvement in quality and timing. 2025 May 3.5★ Dim sum. Order by 11am, $4.98 per dish. Value for price, this isn't too bad. You can really tell based on the shrimp dumplings which lacked in the shrimp taste. Though your get what you pay for though this isn't all bad, there are certainly some good dim sum dishes that exceeded expectations such as the #56 Green Tea with Nut Pan Cake. Lots of peanuts, good portions of almonds and the crepe was thin. Egg tarts were pretty good as well. #15 荷香珍珠雞 Steamed Sticy Rice Wrap in Lotus leaf was good. Personally didn't like #4 香婚風冠餃. Wrong type of skin for steaming making the wrapper harder and dry. The filling wasn't bad though. Lots of parking. Worth checking out at least once for the price.

Came here with a group of friends during their weekend 大中小點一律同價 special hours. The food was quite good, and the service was friendly. It did get busy, so we had to wait a while for our dishes, but nothing too bad. They also offer some great deals at different time slots, which is nice. Will definitely visit again!

My parents brought me here and we had a great meal. Didn't realize the crazy early rush of people, so we had to wait for a table for maybe 20 mins. If you place your order before 11am every dish is $4.98, which is a great deal. Service was pretty fast and food was delicious. Really enjoyed the pineapple bun with bbq pork inside.

Good authentic Chinese restaurant with dim sum, lunch and dinner menus. They use to be many things such as another Chinese restaurant, a lounge and karaoke bar. The entrance is different from your typical restaurant but really it's in the basement. There are stairs even if you want to go to the washrooms. Service was good. Food was good. It did get a bit stuffy and hot half way through our meal. And I actually got nauseous and felt faint after I exited but not sure if it's related to my visit there.

Take out only dessert spot. Only open in evening as they share parking with couple other day time businesses. Parking lot can get very full very quick. It was about 10 - 15 min wait for the food, they give you a buzzer so u can wait comfortably in your own car. Food is very good, very fresh. Good quality fruits and desserts

$26 for the mango pancake ! I thought it will be some special home make pancake wrap but it’s nothing special and taste the same as other dessert place’s $10 pancake . Maybe the extra money is to give you two full mango. Plus I have to wait an hour for my dessert. Not worth the hype

My gf's sister (and her bf) discovered this place. Her sister wouldn't disclose where she got the desserts but told us that it was a place that opened at 7pm. After a bit of googling, we found this place and the pics looked EERILY familiar. So we drove here on a whim and ordered the mango, pomelo & sago soup. It's probably one of the tastiest ones I've had. Big chunks of mango and pomelo running throughout and one order/portion is quite big. There's zero seating inside and the kitchen is like 100% hidden from the front desk so it's takeout only. They provide paper menus for you to look at out front and a bell to ring when you're ready to order. Deciding whether or not I wanna try something else on a return visit or stick to the mango, pomelo & sago soup!

This is a mom and pop shop. When we came, it was just the mom making desserts in the back and the daughter at the counter. Of course there will be a small wait but we personally only waited 15 minutes if even that. The mango sago was delicious and we really enjoyed everything. Service was friendly and it wasn’t any more expensive than you would get at any other chinese dessert place. Will definitely be coming back for a sweet night time snack :)

This place is only open at night, and take-out only. Best to call ahead to place order before picking up. The wait time is usually 20-30 minutes if you order on the spot. My recent favourite is the Black Glutinous Rice with Mango and Mochi (芒果小丸子紫米露)

Had to come back to my favourite dessert spot. This time we already had a massive lunch so we weren't so hungry. However, we still had to try the snacks and hot food in addition to fulfilling our sweets craving. Definitely try the baked spaghetti with cheese and bbq pork rice. Not too sweet or salty. Even the rice in tomato sauce was delicious. You also won't go wrong with the mango sago!

Second Update: I bought another box of 16 today and the price remains $43.50. Their daifuku is still good but not as good as before as it appears that they've reduced the cream filling while increasing the red bean filling. I also paid $6.50 for a hot hochicha latte, which was cold and definitely not worth the price. I also felt a little icky about the expectation of a $10 tip for putting mochi in a box. Update: I originally came here 7 years ago and absolutely loved it. I went back today and again found their quality to be excellent. Their price for mochi (daifuku) is unbelievable. I bought a box of 16 for $43.50. Their price per mochi is $2.90. While they offer the typical mango, strawberry, matcha flavours, I love their houjicha and sesame flavors as well. Their packaging is beautiful and perfect for gifting. They are well situated as they're just a couple of minutes away from the 404. They have a coffee bar and seating as well. I highly recommend you give them a try! The best daifuku in the GTA and it is definitely reasonably priced. The location is hidden in JTown with only a few seats. It you wanted a more cafe like atmosphere I would recommend the location at Northtown; however, the quality of Daifuku is exactly the same at both locations.

We love the mochis and we ordered some for our baby shower! The season flavor was a crowd pleaser. Everyone loved the chestnut mochi and the hojicha flavor was amazing. The mochi is soft and not too sweet. If you order more than 6 pieces they are tax free. Ordering was breeze via email and I will definitely depend on them to create tasty and well loved treats. We bought our own mini boxes and mini thank you stickers and they were perfect.

A tiny little dessert place hidden away in a corner of J town. I am not the biggest mochi fan, but even I would say the drive up for their assorted mochi is worth it. Their mochis are extremely fresh and flavourful with the perfect chewiness. Medium-sized mochi with various flavors that change seasonally. I would highly recommend their mango and sesame mochi.

I love coming to this little cafe for their tea and Japanese pastries (daifuku). There is always one flavour special to the month. This month, it’s Sakura.

[Update] I tried the mochi recently and the quality was not there anymore. The texture was still great but the filling was somewhat overly sweet and artificial. Hope that they can fix it. Even better quality and flavor than the ones you find in Kyoto. The mochi texture was perfect: soft, right amount of chewiness and flavorful. The fillings are creamy and not too sweet. They are not cheap but totally worth the price. Service is always very warm and welcoming. My favorite flavours are matcha, houjicha, and daifuku.

Overall great experience. There is a large variety of desserts to choose from, and a lot of different flavours of Kawartha Dairy ice cream. The staff are friendly, and personable. We had the Lava Cake, Funnel Cake, and a cone. All of which we're delicious. The funnel cake and lava cake were fresh, well portioned. I will definitely be returning!

Brown sugar milk tea was absolutely delicious and my wife's favourite is the mango bubble tea. They also have amazing specialty shakes and lots of Kawartha ice cream selections. The Bubble Tea is a must!

Very cool ice cream shop located near Ninth Line and Highway 7 in Markham, Ontario. The greatest thing about this place is that they serve Kawartha Lakes Ice Cream! Highly recommended for all the different varieties of Kawartha Lakes Ice Cream they serve at this location. Service was amazing and I highly recommend this location for ice cream especially during these last days of summer after Labour Day! Amazing!

Honestly. The best freken Sublime milkshake I have ever had, period. Took the staff 8 minutes to prepare. The brownie was the show stopper. I just don't even understand the price, I felt like I was ripping them off as I walked away with my 2 pound monstrous milkshake. A meal. Usually when I come I have an amazing time the people are so kind. Sadly today I went and the lady took forever to take our order she was busy on the phone and didn’t really take her time to listen to what I wanted. I forever will come here but it’s not happy with the customer service I got today

It is a great place to enjoy a well-prepared beverage and some intricately crafted pastries. The mini salmon quiche tasted great but it could use another minute of reheating in the oven. The pastry on the other hand was superb, with a delicate infusion of yuzu flavour. Service was courteous and friendly.

Their matcha latte was good but what really impressed me was the black sesame tofu cheesecake. Perfect sweetness and lovely texture Edit: May 4/25 I am a regular here but today’s visit was a disappointment. I ordered a strawberry shortcake, a black sesame cake, and two Earl Grey lattes. However, there were several problems with both the drinks and the pastries: 1. Upon receiving my drinks, I noticed that one of the Earl Grey lattes had visible sediments while the other did not. I returned to the counter and brought this to the attention of the staff member who served me. She offered to remake the drinks, to which I agreed. However, instead of making new drinks, she simply asked if I would prefer hot drinks instead of cold ones. This gave me the impression that she did not want to go through the trouble of remaking the drinks as initially promised. 2. When I arrived home and opened the pastry box, I discovered that I had received two strawberry shortcakes instead of one strawberry shortcake and one black sesame cake as ordered. These mistakes significantly impacted my experience, as it seemed there was a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for proper service.

Great selection of desserts to choose from! I ended up getting the Violetta tart and the Black Sesame Tofu Cheesecake. Violetta: A purple sweet potato tart that is one of their most popular desserts here. Despite its small size, this was quite filling and dense on the inside. Strong flavours but not too sweet. Tofu Cheesecake: I wasn't intending to get this but ended up loving it so much! The texture was amazing, very soft. The black sesame was a great flavour. I've had tofu cheesecakes before but this was certainly one of the best ones I've had. Overall, totally worth visiting. The sit-down environment was a great casual space with a self-serve water station. I would totally come back again if I'm in the area. If you want to pay with credit card you will have to spend a minimum of $10.

Matcha strawberry latte was delish, but I personally would’ve liked it sweeter with more strawberry jam. Matcha opera cake was amazing. The balls on top really added the perfect crunch!!

This is usually our fix for our sweet teeth. Their Japanese pastries are not too sweet and are always tasty. It’s a small restaurant so there are not many tables. On the weekend, you may need to wait a bit.

My favourite spot to go to! I love their mini cakes and their larger cakes are perfect for special occasions. I highly reccommend their Abbie (dark chocolate and raspberry), mont blanc, imo tart, kinako choux and matcha choux!! I love the new summer drink with dango and red bean matcha latte. There's plenty of filling to rice ratio. It's a hearty meal in itself. It's also avaliable frozen and you can steam it at home. Also can't go wrong with egg tarts. There's 2 types avaliable but can't go wrong with the flaky crust. There is hot food avaliable but would have to ask the staff. Didn't see any on display and didn't know until a lady behind me ordered 2 hot foods. It's a small bakery but still has a lot of variety of buns options. One side of the bakery has a seating area for you to enjoy your delicious baked goods while sipping on a hot/ cold drink.

I never post bad reviews, but after confronting them about a cake order that they completely butchered and didn’t take any accountability for it, I am avoiding this place. In summary, good quality food most of the time, hit or miss for the cakes and ATROCIOUS customer service. I avoid coming, unless I’m absolutely dying for egg tarts and mango mochi in the area. If you do go, mentally prepare yourself for the demeaning cashier / owner. Ugh

I bought this black sesame drink, which is usually pretty good. However, I noticed how thick it was. Then I realized the lid has an opening, and the drink thickens throughout the day. Now I’m getting a stomach ache from it.

Lucullus Bakers is a delightful spot for Chinese buns, offering a commendable variety and impressive bun quality. I particularly enjoy their HK milk tea, especially on chilly mornings. However, it's worth noting that the prices can add up quickly – my recent purchase of a few buns and a milk tea nearly reached $20. While the quality justifies the cost, I do wish they expanded their morning (8:30am-9am) options for a satisfying breakfast on the go. The service is “okay” at best. When it came time to pay, the lady at the counter was busy talking to her co-worker to the point where I had to remind her for my change. Overall, a 3-star experience with room for a bit more morning menu diversity and more attentive service.

Came here for quick snack before Sunday soccer practice, it offered quick buns or full set of rice combo, which is convenient.

Just a few minutes away from, Fancy restaurant, you can find Lucullus bakery. Place looks pretty nice, but only four or five tables, which are usually filled. Bun and bakery selection, is quite poor compared to similar places. Also a menu of 5 or 6 items with rice, I have yet to try. Prices, are quite expensive, although the quality and filling is of better quality. Custard bun, and beef curry bun are excellent. Friend had the bbq pork bun which he remarked to being average, with little sauce. I think more variety and better usage of space could bump it to 4 stars.

They claim that the Hong Kong style milk tea is good but it was kind of disappointed!! The buns are okay, it's quite salty in general. The worst part was the staff there. They talked to each other about the customers and they thought people won't understand their language!! So rude!!!

Came here once I saw all the cool Instagram photos of ice cream with nitrogen. I had the matcha creme brûlée ice cream and I like how light the ice cream taste when you eat it. They also have Cheetos with nitrogen which they charge $4. I think it's not worth paying considering you get a cup of Cheetos laced with nitrogen. I would go back to try the other flavours.

Great ice cream presentation! The desserts are Instagram worthy. They use liquid nitrogen to make fresh ice cream on the spot. Then they pour more liquid nitrogen around the ice cream when they serve it to you. It looks really cool. Each dessert has two different sizes. You can ether choose from medium or large. Medium is around $5.75 depending on your flavour. Large is around $7.90. Frozen creme brûlée ($5.75) - was pretty much ice cream topped with caramelized sugar. They torch it in front of you. The ice cream has a really strong green tea flavour but wasn't sweet enough. Was pretty bitter. Strawberry pop ice ($7.90) - tastes similar to dippin' dot topped with strawberry sauce and strawberries. This order is pretty big. Shareable. Chocolate brownie ($5.75) - ordered the medium size. The ice cream was really creamy and thick. It was really good. My favourite out of the three things I ordered. It also came with brownie bits inside. Yum! They also have the frozen breath, if ordered with ice cream there's a discount. It's pretty much the dragons breath. When you breath out smoke when you eat it. They use Cheetos. Overall, will come again. Their ice creams pretty good not overly sweet. Presentation is nice ! Service was good but there's a wait since the ice creams made on the spot.

Such a cool concept! Loved watching them making nitrogen ice cream. The ice cream itself was delicious. Not too sweet if you don't use the extra syrup they provide. The presentation is really nice too. The place was a little small so and did not have enough seating when we went. But we would totally go back to try more flavors!

Found the experience of liquid nitrogen ice cream to be really cool, i feel like it’s more of a gimmick then quality ice cream. Although it was a nice change to see something new and see a business try something different.

Believe it or not, we’ve made a priority to order Mango Pomelo Sago (杨枝甘露) and Mango Pancakes (芒果班戟) from this place every time we are visiting Toronto, for the last 20 years! Back in the days when this store was only open from 5 pm and on, we’d drop by to order first then pick up later that evening. All their desserts are outstanding, especially Mango Pomelo Sago (or the upgraded version “Golden Mango Deluxe” 金玉满堂) and Mango Pancakes. Their version of these two classic Hong Kong desserts is consistently fresher, creamier, and more flavorful than anywhere else. The quality has remained top-notch over the years, which is why this spot is still our family’s must-visit every single trip.

Nestled in a random building, you'll find the most amazing durian pillow and mango sago. This place is the go-to place for many Asians as there's always a constant flow of customers. The durian pillow is basically a thin crepe filled with whipped cream and durian. And my gosh it is delicious. I have tried durian pillow in many places and resorted to making it myself and I cannot replicate their crepe. It is insanely thin and it's like eating a cloud. As for their mango sago, they put in so much mango chunks that you literally have enough to every spoon you eat. Again I've tried in different places and theirs is just such really well done.

My new favourite dessert place! It’s truly authentic (and the brand itself is too from HK i believe). I had the mango pancake, and it had a good amount and balance of cream and mango. I loved the texture of the skin outside too. It was a fat pancake and I would definitely get it again. I also got the grass jelly sago (forgot the exact name), but it was refreshing and cool for hot weather. Both desserts were light and not too sweet or filling, perfect after a really full meal. I’m going to go back again and try the other ones too! Only complaint is that the price feels a little more on the expensive side

The durian pancake is perfection. The cream is super pillowy, it’s almost like a melted marshmallow but better. The crepe is slightly chewy and very thin. The durian fillings is full of flavour, not those fake durian scent you’d had in snacks. Honestly, it’s the best HK crepe pancake I’ve ever had. Even better than those I’ve had in HK. Was doubtful about the price in the beginning but it was well worth it! I could not possibly recreate this at home. Definitely will come back.

$10 for a small container of mango syrup lol…. 3 small cubes of sour mangos drenched syrup and some cubes of grass jelly… you can’t charge $10 for mango dessert and cheap out on the mango when it’s in the name Mango syrup taste artificial plus sour mango oh man..

Love the desserts and drinks here; The best Hong Kong Style Desserts in all of Richmond Hill. The Full House Sago, Mango Pancakes, Black Sesame Paste and Tapioca Milk Tea never disappoint! Location is highly convenient as it is part of a mall and hours are great for a late-night snack. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. We will be back for more!

The 杨枝甘露is too sweet for my taste but other desserts are top knotch always. Got chatting with the owner and they have such an insane first gen immigrant story- good for the entire family for making a name for themselves with their shop!

I don’t normally like to give write negative reviews but I finally tried La Diperie in Downtown Markham after hearing about it when I visited Montreal previously and boy what a disappointment it was. I ordered two chocolate dipped cones and the worker kept dropping the ice cream off the cone into the chocolate sauce. She tried a few times and then gave up, just drizzled the chocolate onto the ice cream instead which is not what I paid for, I paid for a dip. We complained and it seemed like the worker could care less. I understand that it’s Canada Day and it may have been busy but this place has been in business for over two years it seems so they should have some proper training and quality standards by now. I will definitely not be coming back here.

2023 July 3.5★ Pretty good. The vanilla soft serve isn't too bad, but can't tell if it's really ice cream or a frozen dessert similar to other larger chains with little or no cream in the ice cream. Currently, three company's website has no nutritional information or ingredients, so difficult to say. The Rocher - large $8 Lots of chocolate and nuts. It's pretty good for the price.

Awful experience at this location! Was so excited to try this place and was very disappointed! At first the server gave my daughter a completely different ice cream than she ordered. She insisted this is what she ordered, we said, no…look at the picture on your app! It was a totally different colour. I ordered a pistachio dip and it took them 20 minutes to prepare! When I got it, it was so soft and totally melted from them taking so long to prepare it! It dripped in my hands the whole time! I had to inhale it so fast, barely got to enjoy it! The place wasn’t even busy, yet it took them forever to prepare it

My daughter and I were excited to try this place; however, it was a disappointing experience. My daughter got the single scoop cookie dough + nerds on ice cream ($5-6?!) it was so small and hollow inside… it tasted like mint too… soft serve needed more Oreo. Pretty stingy & no napkin for one of the cone.

Heard about this place from some of my influencer friends on Instagram & gave them a try since I was in the area. I bought 6 of their regular donuts. Looks great but as soon as I took my first bite, I was hugely disappointed. These should not be called donuts. The dough was dense & dry... was like eating dry bread... no no no thank you. Won't be going back.

La Diperie opened up several months ago in Downtown Markham, in a space shared by South Street Burger. Montreal-based La Diperie has been in the ice cream and desserts business since 2014 and is best known for their soft serve ice cream dipped in saucy glazes and covered with toppings. They also sell mini donuts, cake slices (including Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices), sundaes, hard scoop ice cream, and milkshakes. The staff were friendly and helpful. They patiently answered the questions of my family members. We ordered the Coffee Crisp milkshake which was thick and rich, with a noticeable chocolate and coffee flavour. It was slightly sweet for my palate. My family enjoyed Cheesecake Factory mango cheesecake slices dipped in milk chocolate and pistachio glazes respectively. Prices are steeper than say Dairy Queen but the products offered here are on a premium level. There was less impact on my wallet given we were able to use coupons we received in the mail. Definitely a great place to grab dessert in Downtown Markham!

First impressions of this establishment would be: bright, modern, simple quiet. The design is contemporary, with light colors, white brick walls, and open ceilings gives a nice open concept feel for a relatively small place. Making use of its limited space, theres just under 10 seating tables. For a place that has reopened for 3 months. Space occupancy can be made a bit more efficiently. There is a large unused piece of equipment that takes up a chunk of space that can be put to use. But overall, a great use of color combo and design to give this place a good atmosphere. There are 11 posted homemade ice cream flavors, which is nice. Not too many different flavors that may overwhelm the staff and reduce overall quality. Ice creams ideal maintained temperature is around -17°C, and I feel the freezer could be a couple of degrees colder. It's also nice to know that they rotate flavors seasonally. Flavors are rich and distinct, and with unique flavors with a reasonable price to portion ratio gives this place a plus. The knowledge of the staff was good. I asked many questions in regards to flavors, how its made, options, pricing, and history of sweet esc. And was able to confidently answer. Good staff is hard to come by so this is good to see. Overall this shop is good. Situated in a good location and corner space. No real competitors around. I can predict this place will be a busy hit during the summer days and would need to optimize their seating space if they are to keep up with demand.

Came here for dessert and I didn’t realize they redid their whole menu so they now just serve ice cream no waffle and they have coffee. I like how they have vegan friendly flavours. The lady who served us was not nice it’s like she was bothered that we set foot inside and decided to order.

Seeing it was our first time, the server kindly offered to go through the menu with us, thoroughly explaining certain details and providing recommendations when asked. We shared two hot plates among the three of us and were very impressed by the taste! I especially enjoyed their house-made ice cream -- not too sweet but with lots of flavour.

The contrast between the warm waffle and the cold ice cream was so good! I know the sizzling hot plate is what this place is known for, but personally, I didn't like how the cream just evaporated and burned once it touched the plate. They also didn't have any Matcha and Earl Grey ice cream when we were there, so we were unfortunately left to choose between the more normal flavors. It was still good though, and I'll probably come back to try the other desserts they offer.

I love ice cream. This place has small batches of homemade ice cream with flavours that rotate. I had the coffee milk tea and milo flavours. I think the price is kinda steep considering it's ice cream but it's comparable to other ice cream places. Definitely try their earl grey!

I love the unique and flavourful selection of their ice creams, but I was a little disappointed when I found out that they no longer have their hot plate desserts. I miss their hot plate waffles and wish they would bring them back! It would be so amazing with their ice creams. Definitely try their oolong or pandan coconut flavours!

They have unique flavors that you won't find anywhere else! Delicious creamy pandan coconut and Milo flavored ice cream. When have you seen those flavors?! Definitely coming back to try the rest. Pretty cozy place to hang out.

Had a few desserts with friends. Friend had a herbal drink that was really salty but watery at the same time. My dessert was egg with ginger and it was okay, a little dry. The sweet tofu was alright, they got that right. Service was pretty good though.

Do yourself a favour and just drive a bit to Tracy’s dessert at first Markham place instead. Came here for a late night snack and there are 2 problems - firstly they’ve got way way way too many items on the menu; secondly the prices a bit ridiculous on the food items (just look at my pictures...the rice rolls and fried stuffed veggies are $6 each...seriously?)

The menu is easy to read, they have pictures of the table for selective items. The price for this is reasonable and the wait time will vary on the type of dessert that you choose. It is an older restaurant so the design is outdated and has tables available for 6+ people.

Every time I visit Toronto, this dessert shop is always on the itinerary. Quality is consistently good, and I like that they have such a huge variety of desserts to select from.

Very small portion on my takeout order. They are already using the small containers but they are only 2/3 full. It's not really about money. This is just not the way how you do business for being cheap to the customers.

Great customer service! The server was very helpful with the menu. They served 2 small tofu buckets for 4 portions. I thought it would be in a big bucket (they have the sizes on display). Their tofu dessert taste so smooth and not too sweet. I wish they would give more toppings without customers asking.

I was surprised how delicious the fresh savoury buns were! We tried 4 different ones! The price is so good, I’m used to Toronto prices which would 4x more or even more. The owner was friendly. It’s a simple place, but everything that I got was fresh and well made. Super recommend trying early as I did.

Been here a few times, decided today to show up at their 0800 opening to get some baos for my friend's garage sale. Nothing was displayed yet but the owner who was in their back kitchen and was kind enough to quickly gather up their freshly baked baos/buns. Yeah. That's right, they actually bake their own baos/buns in the back kitchen. They keeping it real, got my 100% support. Timmies crying in their tear soaked pillow Got an assortment of char Siu, pineapple buns, ham & cheese, and custard buns. Their char siu baos have plenty of shredded BBQ pork with a hint of minced onions. Pineapple buns have a large crunchy crust, can also get them with filled custard. If you buy 6 or more, no 13% tax charged They by far have the cheapest bao/bun prices when compared to other places. Although their baos/buns may not be the best, for the price I have no complaints.

Found this place by mistake, and was absolutely stunned by how wonderful this place is! It's a small bakery, but the prices of the baked goods were such a steal! I got about 6 egg tart for 5.45 or so, along with a cold iced tea. The old man who served me was super kind and provided superb service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants tasty canto baked goods for insanely good prices as they were basically the prices of what these bakery would be 10 years ago. This is a nice secret lil good spot.

Great little pastry shop located by Leslie and Hwy 7 area with great selection of buns and other goodies. I've been coming here for many years and I always come right in the morning for the freshest offerings right out the oven. Prices are reasonable compared to other bakeries in the surrounding area.

My go to bakery spot in the area! It's a small business owned by (i think they're 2 brothers), and they are super nice and service is really quick. The buns are freshly made every morning, and even when they're about to close, the buns are still fresh and soft. Lots of options to choose from, and I love their cheap drinks too! Best affordable buns and waaayy better than other franchise bakeries!

This is my go-to place when I crave for Hong Kong style buns and egg tarts and for birthday cakes. (The cakes are pre-order only.) Price is very reasonable and quality is good. I also want to support small business in my community.

Worst experience. I am 18 weeks pregnant and this has been my spot for cravings as of lately; I had asked for a small strawberry yogurt with extra sprinkles. Extra, meaning I had paid extra for them yes✅. When this was handed to me, I had mentioned I wanted more as I had paid! The employee here rolled her eyes, grabbed the spoon and poured a quarter of a spoon into the corner of my small bowl. Intentionally rude and quiet unprofessional, let alone aggressive. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received, and will be writing to head office also. 7/8/2024 employess working at 3pm, NEED to either let go of, or trained properly

I'd give zero stars but unfortunately 1 is the lowest. I ordered an Oreo cheesecake cup. They got my order wrong and made strawberry cheesecake. Then instead of making a new order from scratch, they took off the toppings of the wrong order, crumpled up some Oreos and gave me that with the same frozen yogurt. My order tasted like a weird mix of strawberries and Oreos. Disappointed with the lack of care here. How cheap can you be when you were the ones to screw up the order in the first place??

I ordered walnut cookie flavor and strawberry cheesecake flavor small size ice cream. Overall, it was tasty. But the downside was that the inside of the walnut cookie ice cream wasn't mixed well, giving it a plain taste, and the strawberry cheesecake ice cream tasted more plain than cheesy.

The cashiers are extremely rude. I was there on April 8, 2024 around 5pm. After the payment , right away the cashier rudely asked me to move beside. She didn't even give me 1 second to move before she opened her mouth, and I was talking to the lady lining behind me. I told the cashier that she didn't have to be so rude. Then this angry cashier(with braid) came to join and told me that no body was rude. Then she and the first cashier were talking something and it was about me. I told her that they shouldn't be treating a customer like that. Then this angry cashier got excited, yelled at me with her angry face: "I don't have time for it"! Funny thing was, she was the one who came to join when it was non of her business ,and she claimed she had no time for it. And she escalated the whole thing. She also educated me that I should not fight with her in front of my child. I then looked to talk to the manager and it was when the fight stopped. The manager (older man) wasn't really interested in listening to my complain and he was quite busy. Anyways he still gave me his precious time listening my complain. Later on I took a picture of her to address who she is for future complaint as it didn't seem like I could get the angry cashier's name. She got all angry again and yelled at me with non stop telling me I can't take her pic, even though she was wearing a mask.. The manager came and told me that I shouldn't deal with the cashier like that as she is only 16. I told him that she didn't look like only 16 and also, not being an adult yet doesn't mean she should be acting like that, Very very offensive cashiers! Later on in the mall, I met the lady waiting in line behind me, she told me that , "at least you know what they are like".

I ordered a small blueberry yogen fruz. It was delicious and the right consistency for a mixed dessert. This mall has some really good stores.

I love yogen früz! They have vegan coconut and chocolate frozen threats! The bubbles of the Popping soda won't float atop like in the picture, but the gradient colour is still pretty!

Yesterday, I visited this place. The drink was really good, but the service was just okay. Initially, I felt a bit rudeness, but later I understood that the staff member was struggling with the language. I would appreciate more politeness. However, the service was really fast.

Horrible. Don't buy your macarons here. They are literally mini macarons. Half the size of one you find at any other real reputable bake shops. They don't even fit in the tray they give it to you in. Note I have used these single macaron boxes for a party favors before and have ordered from this store a few years ago and always recommend to friends. I needed it for another occasion, and got the smallest, inconsistent size and shell macarons ever. I didn't realize the quality would go down like this. The rest of the positive reviews are from years ago not recent... So DON'T be fooled. Will never recommend. Go somewhere more reputable and consistent. The last picture with colorful macarons is a customer picture and similar to the one on site. You can see the size difference.

Great place for macarons and natas! The Mac colours are so bright and vibrant and the cookie is the right amount of chewy texture with that initial crunch. The natas are flaky on the shell and thick and creamy on the custard. Service was excellent and with all the flavours available, I never felt rushed to decide! Flavours of the macarons might have gotten a bit lost as the candy cane within the packaging was super strong, but with some of the other flavours being strong, you can still make out the flavours! We used to come here years ago because we loved the macarons, tasted great and price was fair. Fast forward a few years, we came by again being in the area and not only did they raise the price, it's half the size it was before. Like the other reviewer said, they're like mini macarons. Looks like shrinkflation is hitting hard.

Was taking a walk around workplace and came across them. Checked out their website before popping in. The lady at the counter was very sweet and I got 6 macaroons. Lemon and salted caramel were delicious ✌🏾

This snack shop has been here for many many years. It’s inside the building, beside the food court. They specialize in HK desserts like bubble waffles and HK style waffles. They’re also known for their sugar cane juice and fresh juices. I ordered the HK waffle with condensed milk, peanut butter, and sesame seeds ($4). The waffle was crunchy and soft. A good quick snack/dessert to grab. Their egg waffles are $4 for one or 2 for $7.

I heard they have freshly squeezed sugar cane juice so I came here to try it out. It was very fresh and tasty. Their sugar cane was clean and the taste of it was natural sweet without any odd taste or residue. It was $6 per cup for size L. It wasn’t cheap but it’s acceptable for a cup of freshly squeezed juice that was made by order. I came back for their Hong Kong style egg waffles. They were made fresh on the spot. It was very crispy and full of egg flavour. I really enjoyed them.

They do not water the drinks down it’s ALL fresh juice! Must order the fresh sugar cane juice! $13 for 1L! 100/10 on the delicious scale!

I have been their customer since I was a child, when there was a playground across from them. They've been here for a very long time and the owner has always been genuine and kind. I love their 5 vegetable juice. All their juices are freshly squeezed and pressed.

Not sure where else in Toronto you can find freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. They also make bubble egg waffle.

I've been coming here ever since I was a kid and I'm glad that the quality hasn't changed one bit! They really have the best egg bubble waffles in Markham, super crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. The workers are friendly and take the time to fan the waffles so that they don't steam themselves and become even crispier.

Delicious dacqouise and mochi The lady was friendly enough to tell me the mochi tastes better after freezing the inside and then letting outside thaw until it becomes soft

Discovered this place via TGTG app. Was excited to try and had a variety of items. I got 4 mochi (mango, durian, soy milk and taro) and 3 different tea flavoured dacquoise (osmanthus, earl grey and matcha). We tried mango and durian first and was surprised with the amount of fruit filling. Lots of filling and perfect sweetness. We also loved the dacquoise too. My first time trying so nothing to compare to. My fave is the earl grey and my husband loved the matcha. Would love to try ordering a cake here next and would buy items at regular price too :)

Always come here for their dacquoise , I pick matcha cos this flavor has the less sweet taste which I like, they have other flavors which are sweeter for different taste preferences . But recent visits , the matcha dacquoise sweetness level has gone up. Too sweet for me now. I hope they will adjust the sweetness back to 一點甜.

We love the tastes and looks of the deserts. Their cakes are fantastic, not too sweet but have great flavors. There are limited presentations in their small store but actually they have more options on the menu. My kid loves their products. Highly recommend.

We ordered cakes from the bakery for several occasions and we are all very happy with the very special design and the very fresh taste of the cakes. Paid a little more but the cake absolutely worth the price! Their cookies and snacks are great for friend gathering as well, such as the dacquoise and the snowball mochi.

Pictures posted under this location is very misleading. I came here thinking that lunches are served but there is none. This is only a cafe where they offer dessert and coffee/tea.

Drinks are only OKAY. Cake was mediocre.

Good place for a coffee or tea along with a slice of homemade cheesecake. Free wifi as well.

Just bought lunch from here. Abundant types of cuisine including Asian & western even jerk chicken! My gosh! Nice and quiet little place to have a breakfast or lunch!

Uncle Tetsu’s was mildly underwhelming. We got the cheesecake and the matcha cheese tart and neither one was anything outstanding. The cheesecake, after all its hype, wasn’t better than its basque or New York counterparts and were I to get cheesecake in the future I would opt for either of the other two. The cheese tart didn’t fare any better, the matcha flavor was a good addition for those who like it but the cheese cream itself could have stood to be more creamy and the entire thing would have been better were it served warm. Fair prices though.

I love their cheesecake and cheese tart. Now they have strawberry flavour too. I genuinely like the smell which can be smell from outside of the shop. Cheesecake melt in your mouth. Not too sugary just perfect.

If you have a passion for cheesecakes, this place is a paradise. During my visit, although they were out of cheesecake, I tried the Madeleine and Angel Hat desserts, which were exceptionally delicious. The flavors were delightful, and the quality was superb.

Always a delight to have an uncle tetsu cheesecake. This time I tried their Yuzu one and tbh it tasted very close to the original. Very faint tartness which may be what the flavour profile was supposed to be but it missed its mark this time. Still the original and their madeleine are very good. Warm the madeleine in the microwave for 15 secs though.

Always something new on the menu monthly basis. I tried the cookies. Matcha cookie was soft but a little dry. The other cookie was just Dry. The Strawberry Tart and Cheese cake was moist.

So yummy. Never thought I’d be able to experience Japanese cheesecake. It was fluffy and moist. Will visit again to try more flavors

We visited this store yesterday and the staff were excellent and ice cream was delicious. This is my local store and we always buy our birthday cakes for our daughter’s birthday and never have any problems at all.

Located near the main intersection makes it easier to visit this place. The ice cream and blizzards are delicious. The place has their own parking lot. One can sit outside during the summertime.

Absolutely loved this place! The ice cream was incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients — every scoop tasted fresh and homemade. The staff (Harsh) was super friendly and helpful with recommendations, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

I visited the Dairy Queen at Markham and Hwy 7 recently, and I have to give a big shoutout to Arsh who was working there. He was super friendly, patient, and had amazing customer service! It’s rare to see someone so polite and genuinely caring about customers’ experience. My order was perfect, and he made sure everything was fresh and just right. My go to place for Birthday ice cream cakes. They make sure to serve you with care every time. Some renovations have been done and the location looks a lot brighter than it used to be. Till next time!

Amazing dessert. Much recommend! Great Service and Delicious Treats! I recently visited Dairy Queen and had a fantastic experience! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and they got my order out quickly even though it was busy. I had the Oreo Blizzard (my favorite!), and it was mixed perfectly — every bite had plenty of cookie. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was fun, and it’s always a treat coming here. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for something sweet or a quick bite. Can’t wait to come back!

Our experience today was so bad I felt had to apologize for suggesting dairy queen for a quick bite. We ordered on the app so we'd get the mini blizzard for 0.85$. While not this location's fault, the app is a whole nightmare to use. Not user friendly at all. One person gave up and just ordered at the counter. I went to the counter and advised the girl that I had a mobile order, but I'd like to purchase an additional cheeseburger for my toddler. Apparently that was going to cost me $7. I was quite surprised it would be so expensive since a kid's cheeseburger combo is $6.99. I said nevermind, I'd just share my meal with the kid. She didn't offer any alternatives (the 2 cheeseburger deal or even the kids meal, which would have been better value) and made our drink and blizzard. I sat my kid at a table, then waited at the mobile counter for about 10 minutes for the rest of my meal. It seems I'd have continued waiting all night if my husband hadn't asked why the delay. My food had been ready for a while, his too apparently (he ordered separately). I don't make the habit of hanging out at dairy queen counters for the atmosphere, so I honestly wonder what the heck the 3 staff were thinking. None of them said anything when it was ready. They certainly weren't emptying the garbage in the dining area, as that was overflowing. Well, my blizzard was melted before we ever got our food. The fries were cold and the chicken strips lukewarm. Dairy Queen is already not a great value compared to other fast foods, so it's an uncommon treat. It'll take a bit longer than usual before I try one again and I doubt I'll be visiting this location ever again.

Have always love this place from the time the were at their old location in new Kennedy square or peachtree plaza at the time. So excited they decided to re open! They were closer to my home in the other location, so you can tell if I’m making a trip down here for their ice cream and bubble waffles, you know it’s good! I had this one a couple months ago, so the flavours I may have gotten are not available anymore as they do rotate their flavours. I had their earl grey and boba tea waffle alongside the houjicha / black sesame half and half soft serve. The bubble waffle is fresh, warm and so soft! Combined with the bubble waffle, it’s such a nice combination! And I love hojicha much more than matcha at the moment! Not as strong as matcha in flavour but a really nice tea flavour overall! The service here was awesome and never felt rushed in ordering and the peaks of the soft serve were so nicely done! Totally a save amd repeat kinda place! Great job overall! My husband and I have been going to Wooffles&Cream for years. I would say my husband is an ice cream (particularly softserve) connoisseur, and this place is hands down his (and my) fav in Toronto! They have the creamiest softserve and their flavours are authentic and prominent! They always change up their flavours weekly but my personal favs are the genmaicha, hojicha, black sesame and iron goddess :) And of course we cannot forget about their HK waffles, they remind us both of the ones from Hong Kong, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have a crazy ton of flavours-and again the flavours are authentic and delicious. There's something for everyone! My fav is the gomachi (black sesame with mochi), if you like chewy textures then you must get it with mochi!! Be prepared to wait as it can get busy because they make them fresh for you, but it's so worth it! A must try if you love softserve and HK waffles :)

What can I say, been here twice so far and only had the deliciously filled woofles, I have tried a few of the flavours and so far I am really enjoying the coconut as well as the sesame mochi but all have been fantastic. The waffles are always cooked fresh to order by the looks of it and nothing beats eating them warm out of the waffle maker. I haven't tried the woofles and cream yet but I have seen customers infront of me ordering it, and it looks really delicious. I will have to try it soon but so far I am trying to get through all the woofle flavours first. They also have a few savoury asian flavoured combinations too. As I usually say, give it a try...it's the only way to know if you agree with me.

Came here based on a reference and it was good but felt the dumpling batter was a bit thick, it should have been lighter like that served at Pacific Mall. Vanilla soft ice cream consistency could have been lighter or airey. Regardless, this is diamond in the rough of their new location. Our group of 9 loved the experience and would come back and try one of their other flavors andnd combo like Earl Grey and Toffee !!!

I’m so thrilled these ladies are back! They make the best soft serve and waffles in Toronto! The soft serve is creamy and silky and the waffles are crisp on the outside and chewy and or fluffy on the inside with great flavour.

I've been a regular at their previous location and I'm glad they're back! There's a great variety of flavours for their waffles and their ice cream is limited to three flavours (black sesame, Thai milk tea and vanilla). Staff is friendly and I was pleasantly surprised they remembered our order after their long hiatus!

Love Woofles & Cream so much that I visit very often even during the winter! After moving back from HK, I was scared I wouldn’t be able to find a good egg waffle place in Toronto. However, this shop has exceeded my expectations. Their soft serves are milky yet the flavour still shines through. I used to love sweet egg waffles only but now they’ve converted me to loving the savoury ones (my favourite is the pork floss and shallot). They also have great customer service and really care for their customers.

I was pleasantly surprised by my sister in law, brother,niece and nephew who live in the States when they sent this cookie bouquet for my milestone birthday. They ordered it from Felix & Norton and was delivered in a pink box with pink ribbon which is my favourite colour. The cookies were heavenly delicious, soft, chewy and delectable. They were freshly baked and come in different flavours too. Cookies have nuts in every bite, the chocolates were smooth and creamy. These were the best cookies I have tasted and couldn't ask for more.

The reference standard cookies! We always drop by when we are in the area! We cannot resist. If you can grab the day old, they are a great value, super fresh but limited selection. My favorite is lemon white chocolate.

These have been the best cookies in Toronto since the 90s. The cookie bouquets always make a great gift and every flavour is delicious, especially the Ménage à Trois and Honey Pistachio.

The last time I had Bingsu was back in high school a few years ago, and the memory of its taste randomly came to mind. I wanted to try it again so I came here as it looks like the best option with a ton of flavours. I got the cheesecake, loved the cheesecake cubes and the syrupy drizzle topping. I don’t know why they put nuts on it should’ve been like strawberries instead since that’s how cheesecakes go you know. This was 18 dollars for the large size which is quite expensive considering it is simply shaved ice/frozen milk with toppings. Felt a little sick after but that was probably thanks to the whole Malibu bottle I finished. Place was fully packed so had to eat on trunk of the fully bolt on Q50. Will likely come back again.

The shaved ice was a bit disappointing. The mango tasted like it had been frozen, cold and sour. It really needs mango sauce to bring it together (Which they don’t offer) The kinako one was better, but the warabi mochi was too firm for my taste and didn’t go well with the ice. Also, the portion of kinako could be more generous - the bottom was just plain ice with no flavor. That said, the service was lovely, super helpful and friendly staff!

The grape shaved ice is so refreshing and good. I also got the sesame and the mochi in it adds a great texture and chew. Great light dessert after a heavy meal.

Had the tiramisu Bingsu with a salted caramel croffle. Bingsu is an amazing dessert considering that the flavour is a topping on a large bed of ice. Enticing plating with a slice of tiramisu places like a cherry on top. It comes with a shot of espresso. I didn't know you had to mix it all at first but after a few minutes of mixing the true flavours came out. Will bring friends next time

When we came in they were full so we had to wait for a table to open up before they started working on our order. The real fruit teas have real fruit chunks or pieces in them and they are refreshing on a hot day. The grapefruit was fairly sour when I had the chunks but rather light when only sipping the liquid. The green tea bingsu was better than I expected, no real complaints.

The coffee Bingsu was delicious. I loved that it wasn't too sweet, the sauces and the cereal on top was just perfect for the balance of taste. I shared a small size bingsu with one more person, and we ate it in about 5min. Definitely worth stopping by here!

The Bingsu (Korean Shaved Ice Dessert) at Snowday Bingsu Cafe (Thornhill location) was good. The Black Sesame Bingsu was good. The black sesame ice cream and red bean paste were not too sweet and went well the shaved ice and Injeolmi rice cake. The Mugwort Hoppang was a good and delicious Korean pastry with red bean filling.
