On arrival we didn't have to wait long to be seated and we're given both a normal menu and a gluten free menu. The range of GF friendly dishes is really good. We decided on the Brratta and pear salad and garlic and paprika king prawns as starters, no photos of them but both really really good! For mains we had Spanish chicken and the Cosy smash burger both again were GF. For Coeliacs, burgers are probably something I've missed and this burger was absolutely everything you could want, juicy, messy, finger licking, just perfect! The Spanish chicken was perfectly spicy and flavourful. For dessert we chose the lemon posset and lemon & raspberry semifreddo both GF. The lemon posset was creamy and delightful, and the Semifreddo was bursting full of flavour. For drinks we had the frozen watermelon and strawberry smash and a berry bliss probiotic smoothie both GF. Our server, Silva was amazing, attentive, helpful and friendly and came back a few times to check we were okay. There's a great choice on the menu with dishes to sort all tastes. The food was very well cooked and delicious. I had the fish and chips. Bearing in mind we booked a table for 7.30 we weren’t even seated till 8pm and then proceeded to wait an hour and 10 minutes for the food to arrive, decent meal but on further inspection I noticed my 16 month old son’s chicken was visibly raw which he had already started eating. Staff agreed and were very apologetic but couldn’t do much other than void the bill as the manager was not on site. My contact details were left for a manger to get in contact the next day but have not had anyone contact me. This is very disappointing and not acceptable in a place that handles food. Also very poor of management not to contact me. This has been reported to the food standards agency. If a manager would like to get in contact you have my details and I have emailed directly. Can now confirm a manger has rung me and offered me to come back and visit again totally complimentary to prove that this is not standard practice and offer us a chance to experience what we should have. Following up on this review me and my partner have since back for a meal to try again. Staff were fabulous and accommodating again apologizing for the incident last time. The food was excellent tonight, really tasty and amazing conversation with the staff team. I have attached pictures of the food from our visit tonight, couldn’t fault them. We gave them the benefit of the doubt while waiting and hoped the food would be worth the wait, it was not. We were served the food and given cutlery which was filthy and the food wasn't even hot. My partner went up to the bar to complain about the filthy cutlery and the wait for Luke warm food to which he was rudely told "it's freshly cooked what do you expect if it was 40 mins instead over 30 I would understand your frustration" which absolutely gob smacked us if it was so called freshly cooked I would at the very least expect it to be fresh and hot when served not Luke warm. We paid £7 for 5 tiny chicken bites, the serving was that small the dish they actually served it in is the exact same dish we use to feed our guinea pig. They were chewy, bland and filled with grease. If they were actually nice I wouldn't have been mad about the price but they weren't and not worth over £1 per piece. The loaded fries were cheesy chips with a chicken burger slapped on which was again bland and when you pressed a fork on it it pooled with enough grease to swim in. I'm happy to pay a higher premium price for food but I expect to receive it and this was not I've had better food from maccies round the corner and even the portion sizes couldn't justify the price. We left after taking a few bites as we had a appointment to go to and didn't even want the dismal food at that point. Really disappointed as it looked like such a nice spot from the outside but the service doesn't reflect that.

Really nice atmosphere, airy with lots of comfy seating. Staff were welcoming and pleasant and the coffee was excellent but cup so small I almost ordered a second cup. When we entered we were met by really friendly staff who got us to a table with nice comfy seating. We ordered Tea, Smoked Salmon Bagel and a Sausage Bap. The tea was real leaf tea and was really refreshing, my brother complimented the Sausage Bap through a full mouth and the Smoked Salmon Bagel was delicious with an ample supply of cream cheese. This is a delightful place full of character with a really relaxed atmosphere and professional and helpful staff, if you are passing and in need of refreshment, give it a try.

What i have reviewed it on is the disgrace of a toilet we used when I was there with my 2 young children havibg dinner and a drink that needed the toilet. Our order arrived in installments, sadly the first set of coffees served was not what was ordered, so a replacement for the wrong one was organised and our late arrival said they would have the Americano that wasn't ordered. The place was busy when we arrived and extremely noisy, this didn't change as the tables emptied. It made conversation extremely difficult for us. On returning home and checking the card app, we discovered that they had overcharged for the coffee. Too late to do anything about it, but could have been sorted out at the time if a receipt had been provided as requested. As a wheelchair user there are two very shallow changes in floor height on entering the cafe from the visitor centre. They don't look much, but the distance between them makes it extremely awkward to travel over them in a wheelchair as they block both sets of wheels once halfway up. The tables in the cafe are spaced far enough apart for a wheelchair to travel between them, but the chairs set alongside every edge of the tables block the route. This means that chairs have to be moved out of the way and, if they are occupied, people have to move. The tables don't allow wheelchairs to fit beneath them, unless the armrests can be height adjusted, plus the footplate for the central table leg stops the wheels moving right underneath the tables. The disabled toilet requires a RADAR key, it is roomy and is suitable for a wheelchair user as it is a 'Changing Rooms' facility. It was the best point about the venue! It's not a place that any of us will visit again. I cannot recommend it. If you are disabled and need facilities, I do recommend the Changing Rooms toilet.

Ordered 2 Latte's to drink in doors and it arrived in paper cups which are full of micro plastics (yes, micro plastic fibres in a paper cup). Anyway, I reluctantly agreed to stick with the paper cups. Too noisy and appears chaotic. Coffees are stupidly expensive and nothing special.

While no one else complained I thought the coffee was quite weak and watery, however i do normally like a stronger cup and no one else complained. We shared the: Vg Sausage roll- nothing to write home about however it was still tasty and nice they offered it warm. Pain au Choc- Super tasty and not something i’ve seen around muxh. Super fresh.
