Very large and a lot of animals! This is actually the first zoo I've visited that had Hyenas, so that thoroughly pleased me! They had this awesome Lorikeet section where it is possible to feed them and they can fly on you but you cannot touch them, which I understand. You have to pay like around $200 for 3 people just to wait in line for an hour while the wanna be gangster teenagers are cutting you. I went with 2 friends and once we finally got inside it was horrible. Just tarp walls and pool noodles, cheap stuff like that. I run a home haunt at my house and the people who I was with said they would rather go to my home haunted house and wait a couple of minutes for free btw instead of eliches haunted house. While we were halfway trough something happened and the emergency alarm went off so we all had to exit and had to wait another 15 minutes just to finish the haunted house, but we had to wait in the "VIP" line which took about 10 minutes of us waiting. The fright fest was cool with the actors and props out but I do NOT recommend the "haunted houses" Anyways its an okay park........ Id give it a 3.5 star or a 4 for just the only big amusement park till slat lake city.

The exhibits on silver mining (recommend closing the sliding gates and experiencing the mine "elevator" as you enter this exhibit), Japanese internment (take a moment to sit in the cabin), a Black-American holiday resort and Colorado, especially Denver's, evolution and development were also fascinating.

We went today and were incredibly disappointed. First of all, the park cleanliness was not great. The water was pretty dang cold. Lockers are small and expensive, everything is expensive. None of the refill station would let us fill water, they wanted us to pay for new waterbottles everytime. The whole park is pretty confusing unless you are a frequent attendee. No refunds, no convenience, no customer service, crap gift shop, expensive crappy food, no consistency between staff, website is misleading and terrible, no accountability. Between the many negative Facebook reviews and the few on Google, your reputation is going down the toilet along with your park. The park is massive and very few connecting paths, it's like walking through a maze. The wave pool last only a few minutes. The lazy river is super super short. You have to rent tube for the lazy river but can't use them ANYWHERE else and If you carry your tube for too long staff will stop you to reprimand you for carrying your tube around the park because apparently thats only allowed when they say it's ok to carry a massive 2 person tube up 5 flights of metal stairs. $25 for one towel at the gift shop. The changing rooms are saunas, they are very warm and it's hard to put a bathing suit on while you're sweating to death in a matter of 1 minute. The curtains for the changing stalls were ghetto and didnt cover the opening well. The locker set up is weird and kind of a pain. There were a lot of older people that couldn't understand how to reserve or use a locker and staff doesnt help with anything so they couldn't ask them. Nobody tells you any of these things. The staff seems to be incredibly unhappy with their job or there just rude as he'll. We planned this on our vacation with soooo much excitement. It was the worst experience we've had on any trip or theme/water park. Supposedly one of the best water parks in the nation, this is false. Im so so so sad by this experience. TOTAL AND UTTER WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY. Maybe Elitch Gardens is the better choice. If we come back that's were we will try next. The best part of the Waterpark was seeing a cute squirrel.

I am a big supporter of pedestrianized streets and place making but this feels like it has failed to live up to it's potential. The center of the wide street is left open, possibly reserved for buses, though we never saw any. In the 1990s the 16th Street Mall was a hub for social interactions and shopping galore. Many who lived in the Downtown area would enjoy the peace and serenity of the 16th Street Mall at night. The 16th Street Mall has been rebuild and redesign twice now in Denver's history. With that said. Unfortunately, when Colorado legalized marijuana in the 2000s is when the 16th Street Mall became a liability to those that went there. Gangs, homeless drug addicts, and crime increased and many clean and sober hard working taxpayers didn't feel safe unless they were carrying a side arm for protection. One couldn't escape the smell of marijuana that enveloped the Mall from all the smoking done there. Many businesses closed up as a result of less foot traffic meaning customers were far and few. Even tourist dared not travel the Mall at night. From news reports in 2025 that I have read about the rebuild of the 16th Street Mall now just 16th Street. The Mall part was dropped under a $100k ad blitz. My wife and I had to move from Denver to Minnesota in 2019, but do remember the 16th Street Mall of old before marijuana legalization.

It’s a great conference center. I came here for the Psychedelic Science 2025 conference, and the space handled a huge crowd without feeling too cramped or chaotic. The layout is easy to navigate, with plenty of room for talks, exhibits, and all the side conversations that make these events special. Parking isn’t perfect.. like most big venues - but it’s decent and gets the job done. Once you’re inside, everything is clean, organized, and set up to bring people together. Good job to the workers making it easy to get in, know where to go, and keeping the place clean. Tasting was spread out in various areas, so nothing got way too busy. For 4 hours, $95 to get tiny samples was more about the event and being with friends than the beer itself. All of the beef and spirit vendors were gracious, shared info on their beverages, and made it easy to get samples. I do wish there were more food options there. Some folks were smart and brought homemade necklaces of pretzels, candy, and snacks to munch on. Just not enough food vendors and they were on the edges of the room. Some seriously ignorant and belligerent people there, since sampling quantity isn't monitored much. I get that people want to get their value for the money they spent to get in, but I witnessed guys threatening workers on the way out just to instigate a problem. It was packed and the show was AMAZING! The cast was just fantastic and the special effects made it kinda scary actually so we were impressed. Of course, you are not attending a public show unless a few people in the audience get confused and think they are the main event...This was the case for us as two teenagers behind us were talking the whole entire show. That did not spoil it though as the show was still a lot of fun and a cup of wine helped the immersion. This was one of those nights where it was in the negatives so it was very cold on our way out. I was told they recently did a renovation and it looks fantastic. The library offers a wide variety of resources including books (obviously), computers, gaming consoles for the teens in the children's library section, idea lab for anyone wanting to start something new (business idea etc), and an art gallery. My kids loved the newly renovated children's library section. There were so many different things to do from toddler age to teens. And I love the private quiet nooks throughout the library set up for reading. I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely go back for another visit later this summer.

Seven floors: 1-4 is ALL THE normal stuff 7 was an art display and balcony Floor 5 was our favorite! The archives floor of the Denver public library - there’s a genealogy section with like Ellis island entries! We could also TOUCH THE BOOKS! There’s also old card catalogs; Old maps from everywhere from like 1800’s; a wooden room custom designed by the architect - NO NAILS - with all the western US history (if you include their storage floor (6) and basement). I went with my daughter and Mom and we walked around the 40 acre farm which is very accurately historically based. The inside of the museum was very interesting with an art exhibit, a special exhibit which currently focused on Kate Farretti and the Littleton history area which included a kids zone. The Kate Farretti exhibit depicted the life of a famous hat maker originally from Italy, she settled in Denver with her husband and made hats for Denver's elite including Molly Brown. Kate was also mother to the first triplets to be born in Denver. You can spend a couple hours here and make a day of it. I loved the living history farm portion which included 1860's and 1890's farms and contained 5 historical buildings as well as outhouses and a root cellar. It is an acutal working farm with 1800lb cows, turkeys, chickens, sheep, donkeys and a blacksmith! The gardens throughout were beautiful, we got to pick some pumpkins and see what would have been grown in this historical time period. Both livestock and gardens were accurately portrayed for the time period. You can only bring water in so don't try to do a picnic onsite. You are able to bring strollers and wagons and I would recommend doing so, there is a lot of land to be covered which requires a lot of walking.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, thinking it might be a typical museum experience, but it far exceeded our expectations. The dinosaur exhibit was a major highlight! It was interactive and really brought the world of dinosaurs to life for my boys. They were so engaged and excited to learn. It’s an actual working farm that replicates life in the 1860s, and we were able to walk through the buildings where people were working and performing everyday tasks. My boys had so many great questions and really enjoyed interacting with the staff. We thought we would be there for just a quick visit, but ended up staying for 2 1/2 hours. The museum was an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Next I had the Taste of Ace with a side of coconut sticky rice. This is a gourmet dim sum sampler of 4 quality items including potstickers which so many restaurants offer lately but hold on, what sets these apart is their own style of dipping sauce which shines as a welcome departure from the usual soy based sauce. The other items are even better and are powerful competition compared to other Asian fusion restaurants. And what the sticky rice lacked in flavor didn't matter because the authentic earthiness is the point, think of Pai Mei in Kill Bill when he smells the bowl of plain white rice with great appreciation - allow yourself the same pleasure of savoring simple, authentic ingredients. It's a little more than plain white rice anyway so the hint of coconut and what looks like black sesame seeds should aid your experience. I ALWAYS get their hallmark cocktail that echoes the present Chinese zodiac animal but they were out of The Year of the Snake but no matter, like the food menu the choice of cocktails is the best ever! I know good cocktails, I've had many hundreds of different kinds, probably over a thousand different ones but the 4 I had last night are well above average and don't rely on simple but rather a good, well thought out meld of ingredients. Service is as great as ever. Asian fusion is a very competitive niche and Ace has always and still does have the ability to serve match point against the toughest competition and win.

We had 8 people and the escape room we did (pirates curse) was a single room. It was also very very hot. Like soaking in sweat hot. And with 8 people it got pretty unbearable to the point we opened the door and fanned it to let the air from the lobby in (which was also warm but not as hot as the room). The unlocked door really took away from locked in feeling but it was so hot we had to do it. Also, 8 people was way too many for the room size. Especially when a good 1/3 of the room is full of non puzzle props that looked cool but we weren't constantly having to avoid touching as well each other. It would be nice if they were honest about appropriate groups size and how hot and non ventilated the room was. They had one dinky oscillating fan that wasn't doing anything. The puzzle needed to be set up much better. We had a preteen with us and for one of the puzzles you're supposed to unlock later in the room, she was able to reach in and get the key easily and we thought that's since you were able to get the key that's what you were supposed to do. It threw off the entire escape room and when we talked to the employee about it, they said that it was a a known thing that some people could do and they hadn't fixed it. Also, one of the final puzzle was badly "highlighted" we couldn't tell it was even being pointed out until shown because the spot next to it was emphasized. (I can't say more without giving away the puzzle) I don't want to down a small business, but this was just a very frustrating experience that should have been done better.

The party itself went well and the kids had fun, soon the kids started to get thirsty and I had remembered that the Mega VIP package included water bottles for all of the jumping guests. I went to the desk and asked about the water bottles and they let me know they don’t hand those out until we are in the party room. Time comes for the party room and since the sodas and food come out, I spaced the water bottles.. Rest of the party goes on without any water bottles being brought out. A couple days later I checked my email and realized that the Mega VIP package comes with water bottles, stickers, and VIP passes for each guest. My guests received none of that. I called multiple times on different occasions and spoke to Christian on 7/16 who said he would refund $86 and also set up the day passes at the front desk for all 13 of my guests. I never saw that credit. Called a week later on 07/24 and talked to Trinity. She was rude and said that the credit hasn’t been refunded but she would refund it at that time.. Still no refund came so I went into the location on 07/26 and talked to Dominic. He is one of the managers and said it was never refunded and he would have to get approval from the GM to get that amount refunded to my card and would call me back. I picked up the VIP passes and expected a call back from him. I got home and found out they had only given me 10 VIP passes even tho we had 13 guests. Never heard back or got a refund so I called again on 08/12 and spoke to Eva. She said she would have Heidi the GM call me because she would be at the store for training.. never heard back from Heidi and never got a refund. I’ve called a total of 10 times without ever getting the refund I’ve been promised time and time again. This place will do anything BUT take accountability for their mistakes.

All staff I counted 5 people at one time literally sitting at the check in desk, when guests would come up to the desk after doing the waiver, one would get up seeming bothered that they had to help someone and take a payment. The entire place was incredibly dirty looks like it hasn’t been swept or vacuumed in weeks. There was used socks all over the floor, not one clean table in the place and only 2 tables were being actively sat in by parents. They only had the smallest size of youth socks or adult XL. But it’s required to buy them, even though they don’t fit and do NO good too small or slipping off the entire time. The food court was out of nearly everything. No corn dogs, no pizzas at all, no nacho cheese. Had 3 of the icee flavors working out of 8 selection. The “padded” floor in the arcade area and the warped wall were a trip hazard, carpet was torn up and attempted to be taped down, yet it was pulled loose at the base of the wall. There was a very loud beep/alarm that played nearly the entire time we were there. The arcade area power was on when we got there but went off at 6:45 pm and never came back on. I think the owner of this franchise or whoever really needs to evaluate the business, people working for them, people they have running the show. It’s a disaster and embarrassment honestly. $60 I wish i would have never spent, we will be going to another jump place in the future. I will also be posting a review for other parents/parties to see.
