Honestly wish the would keep it open 24-7 to pedestrians, besides that it's a great place to walk and take in the sights of the city. FYI - one really really hot days in the summer you will bake because of the steel and concrete - so fyi - if you're in Philly and it's above 90 or it's humid, sunny, and above 80, you will want water with you.

Our waiter Charles was excellent and attentive, he recommended a wonderful souvignon blanc wine, along with entrees which were great as well. Their prosecco also bosted wonderful flavors. I had the seafood cannolini which was piping hot, fresh made sauce and pasta, packed with seafood. The Branzino was excellent as well, small portions but delicious non the less. Undoubtedly, the show stopper was their apple honey cake. I rarely, barely eat desserts but, this cake was absolutely devine right down to the last fork full. I'd travel the 1 1/2 hours just for the cake. The atmosphere and decor was stunning as well. Great experience, glad we visited.

You can hear the train right below, and it vibrated the entire room so this occurred every hour in addition to the noise of the street traffic. The shower is right next to the tub which looks like a nice touch but there is only a half wall separating the bathing areas from the rest of the bathroom. It got drafty and the floor got all wet every time we showered. The living room was my favorite area since it was spacious enough to have friends come by to watch the game, but I was surprised the mini bar wasn’t stocked with anything other than 2 waters, Nespresso pods & tea bags. The common areas were grand and you can see the historic charm, but I also thought the overflow wedding tables outside the elevator on the first floor were tacky. I enjoyed each act. You could see the hard work and dedication put into each performance. My favorite was the men and boy catapult group. The young talent was amazing to watch. I didn’t realize previously that it’s actually a Smithsonian museum. There was so much to explore that it took us the whole afternoon. I was really impressed with how it was laid out both chronologically and thematically and there were so many hands on exhibits specifically designed for kids (I didn’t get enough pics!). There were sets for western expansion, tenements, old school houses, suburban homes, etc. The kids loved trying on the different costumes and interacting with the exhibits. Our eldest was especially interested in watching all of the video exhibits about WWII, the movie industry, etc. It was an awesome learning experience and I’d recommend it to anyone visit Philly with kids (old and young). It’s also located close to so many other attractions. We ended up doing the US Mint and Christ Church burial ground the same day. Also, it’s “free”, though we paid the $18 suggested donation.
