The food, drink, and service was outstanding. The outdoor rooftop seating has a beautiful view of south Philly. Our reservation was outside. During our experience it did rain a bit, but it was worth staying. Our server was a trooper for keeping the patio goin. At night during a Phils/Eagles game you can hear the crowd roar. Electric. The food and drink was great. There are Mezze, Pasta, Main Entree and Dessert options. I assume the menu is seasonal based on the ingredients, but I am unsure. It got drafty and the floor got all wet every time we showered. The living room was my favorite area since it was spacious enough to have friends come by to watch the game, but I was surprised the mini bar wasn’t stocked with anything other than 2 waters, Nespresso pods & tea bags. The common areas were grand and you can see the historic charm, but I also thought the overflow wedding tables outside the elevator on the first floor were tacky. I didn’t get a chance to see the courtyard or utilize the sporting club since we were visiting with friends, but they look nice in pictures. We did utilize in room dining once, and would skip this if you’re used to it being served on a tray with regular plates and silverware because it was given to us DoorDash style in a paper bag with plastic containers & cutlery. It makes you feel as if you're in a cute French bistro that's run by chefs that smoke way too much and has a waiter that's probably too rude to handle, but here the chefs are extremely nice and the waiters are super nice. Go somewhere in NYC or to Rat’s restaurant in NJ for a closer option if you’re in the Philly area.

Next thing a man (who does not introduce himself, no name, nothing) takes it upon himself to have no etiquette whatsoever as he drapes himself in our space to the point he is leaning on his elbows on our table, speaking AT us right over food that we were eating, with no concern for our hygiene. My friend has lung disease and auto immune disease. Is there any OSHA training done here? Especially with the General Manager which is a State requirement. But I will say there were some helpful and other nice staff members Canna, (bartender) Nick and bar beck Jody and other manager Alise. In general this place gives the vibe of a dive bar with no real appeal, no true idea of the intricacies of what CUSTOMER service entails, which should be a seamless experience where the experience alone makes you no you will return. The cocktails were great; service was swift and accommodating; and we shared several items off the Sunday Brunch menu. We started with an order of the Amalia Oysters on the half shell.
