I also got the Dark Wuyi oolong tea which was wonderful and generous. The ambiance was not great, the bus stop is about 4 feet from the floor to ceiling windows, full of litter. I ought to try their dinner some time and not sit by the windows. Oh and their wines are good!

My guest at one point mentioned that some of the eggplant pieces didn't just taste a little bland but also a little raw and undercooked. To her, the pork ribs were basically a bland "block of meat" and there was not enough sauce at the bottom to dip it on. The only item that required minimal doctoring to us was the lettuce wraps because it came with a side sauce. (But no veggies? Just lettuce and pork meatballs and a handful of herbs? Sad.) It's also frustrating when this is a fancy Asian fusion place where the rice is not included and is a separate charge because then the food better be good to make up for that! They specialize in Japanese, but do have Korean options as well. I've tried many things, such as the sushi, bibimbap, kimchi stew, spicy udon, and many more. I liked the spicy udon and tonkatsu from here, as well as the sushi. Prices are on the more expensive side though, but the quality is pretty good. I got the Gyoza which was excellent crispy flavorful and the Chicken Yakisoba… this is where things fall very flat the dish itself felt bland the vegetables were overcooked and the flavors just muddled in with the noodles it was quite bland but my biggest complaint is the Yakisoba itself it did not feel like it was seared noodles but blandly boiled with little to no sauce. Great concept in theory, but probably not something I’d go for again. Still enjoyable though. Stopped in for dinner before a concert in the Theater District. I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of how this restaurant group runs things, but wagyu shabu is a concept Boston hasn’t really seen before, so I figured it was worth a try. They push a membership program with discounts and perks, though truthfully, their lineup isn’t the kind of portfolio you’d want to frequent on a regular basis (certainly not more than once a month). They offered four AYCE tiers, and we chose the second-highest (gold tier), which included all the premium cuts. The only difference with the top tier was that Japanese A5 wagyu was capped at one plate per person. Since we just wanted to try it, two plates were more than enough, and certainly not worth the extra $20 upgrade. With this option, we also got two of their specialty dishes, and we got the Sweet shrimp sashimi and the Wagyu bone marrow. The hotpot was decent and they gave us plenty of food. I really liked their fried shrimp. That said, I would’ve been happy paying around $80.
