It also look like that they bake their own bread in this little spot. The Chowder was absolutely amazing! They did have a little station out front where you could get a free sample if you wanted to give it a taste before you got some. The lobster roll was tasty, good size portions, nice and tasty and based in some butter. The oysters were spot on. I asked him what type of oysters he had he answered local, LOL so I'm not sure if he actually knew what kind they had but whatever they were they were very tasty and he showed me how they came in fresh that morning. Going into Quincy Market is a complete Madhouse but if you there looking to get some oysters, lobster roll or chowder I definitely would recommend this place!

If you are really eager to try lobster meat, I'd highly recommend some other "state". For $40 what I got was, 3 bites of utter misery. I decided to try it out due to certain reviews and reddit recommendations. To my surprise, it didn't live up to any of the hype. The cashier mentioned how substantial the portion size was compared to the seafood sampler. Based on her recommendation, I went with the most popular hot lobster roll with butter. The first level of disappointment started with the visual. It started escalating as I started eating it. For $40, I ended up getting a handful of food- a slice of Pullman loaf (which I believe should've been a hot dog bun), a lemon wedge and some dry and overcooked lobster meat. All my enthusiasm was killed and I started regretting my purchase. There may be a few standalone restaurants in the area that may serve way better rolls. However, I've become extremely averse. After having tried lobster at Nova Scotia and Maine, I really had high expectations of this place but it kills the Boston food scene. Each roll comes with a side of hot melted butter and a large lemon wedge. The rolls were tasty but they didn’t really fill us up and they don’t have any sides included in the $38 price. Later that night we had dinner at Legal Seafood and the table next to us ordered a lobster roll. It must have been 4 times larger than the little ones offered at Wicked Lobsta. If your mission is to try a lobster roll I would go to Legal Seafood. If your mission is to eat at Quincy Market then you will enjoy the taste of the lobster roll but after $40 a roll you may not be satisfied.
