Awesome free family events provided and hosted by the council. These events occur on a frequent basis. Terrific trees and plants attentively cared for by the arborists and park operations team. Fun to see golf parts nipping about this ex golf course. A real asset to Brisbane that hopefully continues to evolve as a tree sanctuary and bird lovers hotspot. There are some snakes about, so keep your eyes peeled for Danger Noodles as they surprised me on a number of occasions. Certainly a few extremely large rats about Kelvin Grove, walking paths and rail track. Hope the place stays slowly evolving into a green and welcoming parkland. Amazing tracks to loop for those wanting to improve their #running. Hill running is incomparable training for those wanting to up their speed and endurance. Yet go hit it within your limits as the gradients are unforgiving and certainly No Walk in the (Victoria) Parkland. One of my absolute favourite places in Brisbane and cared for in line with the splendid Mount Coot-Tha approx 15-20m away by car.

It was incredible!!! The wedding team went above and beyond. The organisation and communication leading up to the wedding was fantastic. The wedding team on the day did such an incredible job. The room looked stunning, the staff were so friendly and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. We were meant to get photos on the golf course but unfortunately it rained and we were unable to get photo on site. However the wedding coordinator suggested UQ which took so much stress away from trying to find somewhere else to take photos. A couple of things that needed to be said were; Earlier in the piece, they informed us that they were having renovations to the Hall that we originally booked for our reception, that would be ready by our wedding. After expressing my concern, they assured me that it would be ready and our wedding would be the first cab off the rank. However, Cyclone Alfred happened and caused delays, so the Hall was ultimately not available for us. However, they did do a perfect job of holding our reception, along with our ceremony, in the Loft, which they did a fantastic job of 'flipping' during cocktail hour, where we all went up to the rooftop. One other problem that this caused, was that there were no elevators for our more mobility-impaired guests, but there were staff members to help them out. I had hired their big LED screen (originally in the Hall) to play an animation I had made, and they did a wonderful job of setting that up in the Loft. It played well all night, but at a specific point where everyone was to watch the animation, there were some technical difficulties, but the staff at the Warehouse swiftly fixed that, even getting their technician to come back to the location from home. These are the two drawbacks we experienced, but they were only minor, and overall, we were all very thrilled and impressed and and ecstatic that we had our wedding at the Warehouse, and would certainly recommend them!

The 4 Chalets on the venue were amazing, surrounded by forest with a deck view looking out at the coastline made for an amazing end of night/ perfect morning wake up. On the day itself, Anna (the event manager) was amazing, confirming everything with my husband prior to the ceremony starting. Anna constantly would check in with us both throughout the afternoon/night, making sure we were set for drinks, and had eaten. Sunset photos were amazing. My husband and I went out on a date night. We have a toddler so this is the first time we’ve been out together in over a year. The service was pretty terrible the lady that served us was actually really rude, The tables were all dirty therefore We had to sit at a table that was dirty and no one offered to come and wipe it down. I wish I could say that was the worst of it, but unfortunately, I also got to experience my first ever bout of food Poisoning. I had the chicken skewers they weren’t cooked properly and I’ve been violently sick ever since, as I said I have a toddler who is susceptible to picking up tummy bugs but he has been absolutely fine. My husband is also fine. I’m the only one that ate the uncooked chicken. So it’s not hard to figure out where I got the Food poisoning from. I don’t know whether this was an issue with the staff being understaffed and a busy night, Because the menu looked actually really lovely and I’m sure on a Good Night these guys will actually do a good job but for the staff members that we’re letting you down on Saturday It was absolutely terrible.

I booked a private trail for my missus and I and the equiry took about a day to process. The process time is quick and easy. The horses my partner and I got to ride were called Cario and Arrow. The horses have personality which is adorable. I forgot our instructor's name but she was nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back at some point. The venue is lovely and filled with a good variety of wildlife such as birds, ducks, turtles and wallabies. The route was nice and we stayed close around the site itself. We had our wedding ceremony at High Church and would highly recommend. The venue is absolutely stunning, filled with natural light and of course the beautiful stain glass windows. Julie made organising our Christmas soiree easy as a Sunday morning! Our guests were impressed by the space and the convenient location, not far off from the rest of the night life the valley has to offer. We used the church, terrace and the gallery downstairs. The burger was juicy and absolutely delicious, chips were cooked to perfection. As much as I’d love to keep raving about how delicious this burger was because seriously, take my word for it. A couple notes, I did find a few bones in my meal, happens in food service all the time so there really nothing to say except it was just a bit unexpected. I waited patiently for my raspberry spider, unfortunately I feel like the restaurant might have lost my docket. After a bit over 25 minutes I decided to talk to a staff member, he was on it like the wind. No complaints here. The atmosphere is lovely enough to not worry about where everything is. Last thing I’d like to say is that when finishing my meal, a staff member took my plate just as I was finishing and my drink with it. VP were fantastic with every step of the process. They made the stressful process of organising a wedding enjoyable. The food and staff were excellent and very helpful. We booked BG for a Saturday wedding originally but needed to swap to a pop up package on a Friday due to outside factors. The diamond package included everything that we could have needed from food and drinks to the photographer and celebrant. Laura and Gav have created the most perfect venue for an intimate and homely feel to a wedding. We were able to personalise the space with the stunning furniture they provide to suit our vision perfectly. So many beautiful photo opportunities! They are so kind and friendly to deal with and always went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us in the lead up to, and on our special day. We had the whole venue to ourselves over the weekend and they were always there if we needed a hand with the set up or if we needed furniture moved. I could not recommend Laura, Gav and their beautiful Elm House enough. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and the set up of the night. The venue is so well priced and we loved that we were able to stay for two nights in the beautiful accomodation they provide. We will for sure be back one day to book out their air bnb accommodation. We were able to BYO alcohol and grazing table, and we hired a pizza truck on the night. The fridge they have is huge and was able to hold all our alcohol, food and cakes. The cleanup was also seamless the next day. There is also ample amount of parking in front of the venue and down the road, and enough places to book and stay nearby for our guests. The cafe close by was also great to have for coffee stops and breakfast in the morning, however, there is more than enough at the accommodation to cook for yourself also. Honestly a dream day and everything couldn’t have went smoother. Thank you again for having us and making our special day the best it could have possibly been!

Got the seafood platter for 2 to start our meal, very fresh, sweet tasting especially the scallops. Tuna tartare had quite abit of sinew in it, room for improvement on that. There is street parking & undercover. Boutique eating options including a fine Japanese restaurant & Dendy Theatre. There is a convenience store and other shops tailored to onsite & local highrise dwellers. I hear purchase & rental options for living is up there. But it is justified being close enough to the city where some will indeed have beautiful views, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle. You may want to bring a brollie as the street awnings aren't great and it can run a chilly breeze also. But I think it needs a makeover & rebranding. Some people still think this is the port for cruise ships. It needs life added to it like Eat Street just up the road. It possibly has a romantic potential, but maybe that last ship has sailed. I recommend you visit this place for a quiet romantic evening, just be prepared to snuggle up should the weather turn bad.
