I arrived with my friend this morning for our booking, and her other guest woke up that morning very unwell so she did not attend as to not get others sick. We explained this to the staff but they said they were unable to amend the booking. We even said we’d be happy to upgrade our own packages for the two of us but we don’t want to pay for someone that is unwell. My friend ended up using her entire $150 gift card and paid extra on top, which was quite disappointing. We understood that they couldn’t change it in their system but a credit would have been appreciated, and this was at a very quiet time so no spaces were being wasted (at one point in our session there was no one else on the premises). We were only offered a soft drink each. Overall, the facilities were not as clean as I would have liked (shower pictured) and I found the surfaces to feel a little bit slimy across the pools and saunas. Some unidentified “floaters” in some of the spas as well. If you’re looking for a fabulous relaxation I would highly recommend The Bathhouse Albion instead, I much prefer their service, facilities, provided products and hygiene. The sounds of construction were not very relaxing either, which I understand there’s not much they can do about that, but BH Albion is a much preferred experience start to finish for me. Would not recommend when there are far better facilities and service available inner city.

Then we had a couples massage and relaxed in lounge room with champagne. Leave plenty of time with your booking to enjoy the spa outside or the lounge before or after your booking. The reception team were tops - there was big guy on for the day - that really was quite thoughtful and positive several times - as well Stacey - whom I thought was a real stand out for service and making you feel welcome when I was making the initial Enquiries and booking. If you feel the package is a bit expensive - I have to add it is - but my partner thought it was the most romantic date of her life - which meant it ended up being great value and a beautiful day. 🌷

The bathhouse experience itself was nice but not enough to make up for the stress and hassle caused by the membership issues

We visited recently due to their 1 year anniversary offer and figured we’d give it a go. This is probably the worst day spa I’ve ever been to. It was so ridiculously over crowded. At one point I decided to count how many people were in the pools alone and there were 26 people not including those using other facilities. Mind you, our booking was for 5pm and on the website it said no one else had booked for that time? Staff didn’t seem to be moving people on when their times were up. The saunas were so full people had to stand inside and there wasn’t any room for more. It was so ridiculously loud that it was impossible to relax (as in louder than a grocery store on a busy day level loud). People weren’t obeying the rules at all e.g use a towel when in the sauna, so when I used my own towel it got brown stains on it from the sauna seat 🤮 Not to mention, this is the only spa I’ve been to that didn’t require people to shower before using the pools. When we got in the pools, I’d see lots of loose hair and dead skin, particles etc. it was actually disgusting. When we were using the changing rooms for some reason there was actual PILES of dirt and hair that staff had swept into corners and left there. Absolutely disgusting, I’m so so disappointed with this place and won’t be back

We came here on a Friday morning on the 30th of May and as we were nearing the end of our session, more people came in and it started to feel very crowded. The change rooms are nice but can feel small with a lot of customers; one main change area with lockers, one change room, three showers and two toilets. They do have a range of facilities, including two 38°C hot pools, a 12°C cold plunge, a Finnish sauna with a fireplace which we liked, a steam room, two infrared saunas, a traditional sauna, and a tea and refreshment lounge. I do love that you get unlimited towels here. Whereas, in other places like Soak, they give you one towel and you have to use the same one for the entire time. They are all white so you have to keep tabs on which one is yours. The pools are not large, and there were a few groups there and talking a bit loudly so it was annoying. Would I come again? Yes, but probably not for awhile. As the novelty does wear off when you've been to it once. A true calming and relaxing bathhouse experience is when there is no one else in the room with you. Haha.

I booked online for a "Thai Spa Luxe" with Grace and had an incredible time. I feel very relaxed after my session. Before booking I was a little worried about how ticklish my feet are but they apply the perfect amount of pressure so that it doesn't feel too ticklish and relieves pressure instead. So impressive that this level of spa is offered in suburban Brisbane. The spa is based in what was once an architecturally designed home. When I win lotto I will design a place like this for myself :). It is the most magical setting and once inside you could be anywhere in the world. I had a 90 minute massage which was nothing less than perfection. The tea on arrival, quality of oils, smells, music, hot towels, comfort of the bed, skill of the therapist - all brilliant. I have been to many spas around the world and count this as one of the best experiences. Unfortunately the only downside was 4 other guest were making a lot of noise around the pool area that was right outside my treatment room. I found this very distracting and hard to relax. 30 minutes into the treatment I asked the therapist to address it. Had to wait a few months for a Saturday appointment, but the waitlist was really well managed an was moved from November to September after just a couple of weeks. Worth the wait and lovely to have something special like this in the diary to look forward to. Highly recommend for a very special treat for yourself or as a gift.

I usually attend in the afternoons, however I was lucky enough to join hybrid as my friends guest for the week with coach Lew. I know how hard highly educated trainers are to come by, and I can recognise a trainer that can back their programming with knowledge as well as personality to keep the class hyped up. Lewis's ability to run a full class in hybrid doing technical heavy lifts, with everyone having good form, lifting safely, keeping the vibes high speaks volumes to his experience and knowledge in the industry. I would've loved to have worked under him as a mentor during my time in the industry because he has a wealth of knowledge that would be so beneficial for the team. The only negative thing I can say is it's a shame he doesn't teach afternoons regularly because I would love to be able to attend his classes haha! Highly recommend Function Well to anyone who's thinking of joining. All the trainers are great and the classes are so much fun!

This was my first time at Iremia I wasn't sure what to expect. I am not sure if there are quiet periods where you can attend? I personally found it a bit too noisy with chatting? There were multiple groups of people chatting in the hot pool and it was quiet distracting from the overall experience. I would love a "quiet period" option. I was there solo so just looking for some relaxation and recovery. Ended up leaving halfway through my booking.

I left 4 voicemails (all unanswered) and an email, which was answered by someone out of state who said I'd hear back from Rosalie promptly. I heard nothing.
