The chicken pizza was very taco like and good! The Lombardi is usually my meat pizza go to. Both pizzas were great. The ginger pine nut wings were not my cup of tea. They were sweeter than expected and we didn’t really taste much ginger in them. The fries I know are when fresh could be amazing but they suffer so much from delivery as they steam and get very very wet. We always have the oven preheating to toss them into. But they look and taste like good boardwalk style fries. I wish they could maybe ventilate better while being delivered or something. You can see in the wings pictures the boxes keep the moisture locked in which isn’t best for fries. This time the pizzas were a little cool too so we put them in too. First impression is that it was hard to find parking (across the street). After that though all was good. Our waitress was very friendly and informative. The food arrived in a timely manner. And the atmosphere was clean and fun. The pizza selection was eclectic in a good way. A warning, they only serve thin crust. We enjoyed our Chicken Avocado pizza overall. Ordered a couple of beers - all local to the area..both were outstanding (a märzen & NEIPA) - clean, crisp and fresh. Pizza selection was the Pepe Martinez - loads of curled pepperonis cups, melted mozz, fresh strips of basil and a sprinkling of asiago. Sauce amount was perfect and blended/balanced well with everything.. ingredients were super fresh and the crust was firm and crisp where needed but gave way to that satisfying chew you want in the crust. All around an excellent pizza! I had to wait a bit longer than expected but it was soooo worth the wait.

The atmosphere is very nice. My first time there, I didnt know where to go/to order and took a few minutes for someone to ask and help me. The server was very nice, he recommended things to me and helped me decide what to get. The parking Is rough and annoying. You have to park on the street or parallel park which I hate doing in big cities, there's no free parking/ parking lots nearby that I'm aware of, so you have to walk somewhat depending how close amd or if you can find a spot near the restaurant. During my first trip out here, I did witness a lot of the employees eating snacks, touching their face, etc without washing them or wearing gloves so just be mindful of that. The food I got for the first time was the bread pudding, vegan burnt ends/ pulled pork sandwich and the vegan chicken tenders. I really liked the tenders and bread pudding. the burnt ends was kinda a dissapointment, not great but not terrible, my expectations were higher. I have never came across a vegan bread pudding before, so to have one was a surprise and was really good, also not overly sweet like a lot of vegan desserts. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good especially the Buffalo style and with the vegan ranch/blue cheese, they were a little soft, but overall really good. My second time coming, there was a different server and he was very nice and got my food out to me quick and asked if I wanted water while I waited for my food. I got a vegan pizza, which I was hyped for since I heard good things, but it was mediocre at best in my opinion. I've definitely had better vegan pizza. I also got the vegan donut holes and the hushpuppies. Man, they were phenomenal. I have been looking for a vegan hushpuppy recipe/place that offers them and with the vegan Chipotle aoli it comes with, so good.

We started with the brociole messenesi for the appetizer and my husband ate 5 of the 6 rolls before I could finish my first. He was in heaven. The sangria was refreshing and light. I swapped out the fennel sausage with chicken because I didnt want pork. But I think it would have been even better had I left it the way Joe Benny intended it. I can't express thoroughly how delicious this was. Great portions! I took home half and had the left overs a few days later. It reheated well and tasted just as good. I don't eat seafood, but i could imagine anyone coming to Baltimore for dinner would be impressed if this cake landed on their table. They surprised us with a delicious bread pudding dessert that we shared. Our reservation was for 545 and we were treated to happy hour drink specials, even though we were in the dining room, as well as a discount for dining early! I nearly fell of my chair! The manager came and checked on us as well and wished us happy anniversary. He said that he knew we had lots of choices for dining, and he appreciated that we chose Benny's to celebrate at. We stopped in and I noticed that there was plenty of parking in the rear of the location . As we walked into the door there was the kitchen to our left and to the front of us. First the service was excellent! Our server was attentive and she checked in on us periodically but not too much. She was also quick with greeting us, bringing us our drinks and food. Given it was a Friday night, families started to slow trickle in but the restaurant is large so it can seat many people without having to wait too long. We ordered crab soup, buffalo pizza and seafood pizza. The soup was THICKKK. I personally didn’t like the texture as I would have preferred a more liquid consistency. However, I did appreciate the lump crab meat on top! I think it more than made up for the consistency. The buffalo pizza lacked the buffalo sauce tang. Because of that, it tasted a little bland. I can’t say I would recommend or maybe ask for more sauce to round out the flavor. The seafood pizza though was the star! It had pieces of crab and shrimp and the red sauce was savory and well balanced. I would highly recommend this pizza! Also, I have been told that when the Brick Ovens are on inside it can get incredibly warm due to the heat of the ovens. We got the Life of Brian pizza with garlic and half pepperoni - it was super well cooked, light, and crispy. I think my only gripe with it, was that it was a tad oily. We also got a Salad #1 which was filing and good, but I would say it was like 90% spinach vs other ingredients. For 34$ I get 2 12" subs, 2 fries and 2 sodas. The subs taste no different. Chaps pit beef is even a better choice in my opinion. They were both pretty good but the crust was a tad dense. Maybe because we got the smaller of the 2 sizes. The chicken pizza was crispy and more like a bread since it didn’t have much sauce. But I liked it. The flavor of the wings was good but they were soooo dry and the meat was tough and hard to chew. We couldn’t really eat them. Not sure why.
