Tiny one room museum with some gorgeous items to look at. Peeking through the window of their storeroom at the ceramics they can’t display is a must. It’s 100 baht entry price is the same as much larger museums in Asia, but it’s worth a visit. And there’s not much else to do for tourists in this city. We were staying using it as a base to visit archeological sites.

A revered place for Thai people to celebrate a warrior woman who protected Korat from Lao invaders.

A nice area, set by the historic city moat and reconstructed West Gate of possible 17th century origin under King Narai the Great. An elegant modern statue of the celebrated Governor's wife under HM King Rama III, credited with a saviour's role in thwarting Anouvong's invasion 200 years ago. The events doomed the Vientiane Laotian kingdom as a last vestige of Laan Sang on the Korat Plateau and cemented Isaan into Siam, for which it has much to be thankful.

Important monument in Korat city. When u been Korat until you’ve paid respect to Grandma Mo also known Ya Mo (as Suranaree is known locally). At night really peaceful and Monday - Sunday Open 24 hours . The recommend to visit and pay respect .

Interesting monument. It will be very crowded since it fits right on the street. Parking is almost difficult to do it's better to use a taxi to the monument and dropping you off and picking you up after you finish business way with Ya Mo. Everyone who travel to this city should go there pay the respect to Thao suranari monument for you blessful life, I recommend, at least one time of your whole life.

Wat Sala Loi Wat Sala Loi is located at northeast of city, about 500 meters from Rob Mueng Road. Wat Sala Loi is built by the Khorat heroine Thao Suranari and her husband in 1827. Wat Sala Loi's highlight is the meeting hall which is the applied Thai art in the shape of a ship riding the waves. the door is also made of metal. Inside the hall there is a large statue of Buddha. The exterior is fullled with a plaster sculpture of Thao Suranari sitting praying in the middle of a pond, plus with a smallpagoda that contains the ash of her

A mini temple wonderland. Lots of Buddhist temples, statues and deities to see, and worship if you are so inclined. I went during a Buddhist holiday so the place was very busy with worshipers. Very interesting to see how people paid their respects. Nice cafe situated in the middle of the complex too. Near the water fountain. Worth a look.

Praying for our family to be healthy, wealthy and happy. Khun Ya Mo is a real of Korat people belief and always in my mind as she was our heroine and being as the strongest mother who loved her people and family. Great memorable place for the people to make the merit as the Buddhism treat and fulfill your mind in in relax surrounding of Buddhist.

Not a big temple complex but the main building is nice . There are a number of sculptures around and a man-made cave. Plenty of parking and there are other attractions close by.

The royal temple of Nakhon Ratchasima and in my opinion also the only one I really see getting a clear 5 star review. Very well kept temple grounds and as an extra bonus they got this small cave with Buddha statues inside. Definitely a must visit temple when coming to the city

Phayap Temple is the royal temple of the west in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). This royal temple was established in the reign of King Narai the Great at the same time as the founding Nakhon Ratchasima. Since Wat Payap is in the city wall west of the city pillar, the word "Phayap" means the west, so it was called 'Wat Phayap

The story goes that a construction company was digging away on a building foundation when it came across a cave. They spoke with their spiritual advisors at the monastery who told them to move the cave into the temple. Hence we have the Cave Temple. Unique and worth a visit. Small but interesting, no ticket needed. Rest of the complex also open. Bathroom in back too.

It's really beautiful. Not only the church but also the garden is very spectacular.

Even though this is a big temple, maintenance was really bad. Stray dogs enjoy threatening visitors, but especially locals, nobody cares about this matter.

My most favourite Western restaurant in Korat!!! This restaurant serves Swiss, German and Italian dishes. They really know how to make them all authentic enough yet flavourful to locals. Try their best ever Beef Tartare. Even surpassed those high profile places in Bangkok with almost half the price. Swiss cheese salad was so good and the portion is for 2+ persons. The buffalo tenderloin was also terrific. No smell and very tender, cook to perfection. Every time I come to this place, I never have my belly space left for dessert but they do have vast choice of them and great bar too. Not to miss when you're in Korat.

Visiting the city for some volleyball and needed sustenance. Reading the reviews of restaurants in the area and chose Chez Andy’s and what a delight. Everything was tasty as can be. Yellow pea soup was delicious and my gnocchi was fantastic. For being out on the provinces this restaurant is a beacon of tasty wonderfulness.

For the price? No. No detectible chicken in cordon bleu, deli meat ham and cheese , fried flat (not rolled even)in schnitzel style, there is nothing authentic about the dishes here the bread tasted store-bought. The bread was OK but for the price save your money. This is not true to form for the western food prop reports to represent at least for the dishes I had. The menu is unwieldy and overwhelming. There’s no way you make all these things well without a number of all the premade components way over priced for the quality of the food potatoes were greasy and not flavorful. pasta was OK. Save your money.

It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant but the food was quick, fresh, and in general delicious. The spatzle was somewhat dry but they immediately cooked us a new one. The SERVICE was AMAZING, cared so much whether we enjoyed our food or not. When asked about each dish, the manager ( in the vdo) explained everything in detail so well.

I love their pizza crust. Pasta was a bit too bland, and the fettuccine wasn’t aldante. Beef tenderloin was good appropriate with the price. My favorite was actually their stir-fried potato side dish, it was flavorful!

First impression when I first came here is the decoration, it reminds me of the time I traveled to Switzerland. The chef is friendly and staff service is good. What caught my intention the most was the food in terms of smell, decoration, quality, and taste. I have nothing to complain about as it’s just so delicious and savory. Personally, I think it is worth the price. I would definitely come back again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try European cuisine.

One of the best steaks I’ve eaten in a long time! Presentation was also top-notch. The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredible, as are the views from the 20th floor. My single critique is that service could’ve been just a touch better, specifically with regards to attentiveness from the waitstaff. I’m not going to let that affect the overall score, though… it was really an incredible meal!

Underwhelmed at 2x price. Note that that and service they are added to the menu; go for a drink maybe an apo - not worth (atmosphere great, view fantastic). the food however, was subpar. the steak was tough, mashed potatoes cold, seafood tasted frozen, french fries too oily. service was good. mixed drinks decent but pricey, although the mint in the Mojito not muddled in the glass as it should be. A perfectly cooked ribeye should taste rich, juicy, and tender with a deep, beefy flavor. The exterior should be well-seared to a golden brown, creating a flavorful crust, while the interior should be cooked to your desired level of doneness, medium-rare in this case….seasoned, the natural flavors of the beef should shine through, making each bite a savory delight (it wasn’t)

The ambiance is great, the food was delicious. However, the kitchen wasn’t very considerate with the timing of our food delivery. We had received our cheese and cold cuts plate and salad, and had not even touched our salad yet, when our main course started to come out. We felt very rushed and it took away from what could have been a great dining experience. Also, we have finished our dinner, and so far no one has approached us to see if we’d like any coffee or dessert. For this level of restaurant, the lack of attention to service is a big miss in my opinion. Not sure what happened, but the first table we were shown to, the linen was very wet on one side and had to move tables. Also, in a personal note, the table was a bit high for the chairs provided (or vice versa). I ended up using the back pillow to sit on, to compensate for the height difference.

I love Snow fish and Crêpes Suzette here always order and eat the same menu. And right here has a good atmosphere. I highly recommended. Such a great choice to have a cry nice dinner in Korat.

Easily the best restuarant experience one can have in Korat. Best burger I've had in Thailand. Cocktails are decently priced and the staff was excellent.

I would literally come back for my 3rd time!!! It’s the best steak shop ever! The service is very good! However, it’s a little too expensive. All in all, love it!

The food tastes good, the price is reasonable (note that the bill says 2,470, that is because we also ordered take away. The real price is closer to about 350 baht per person). We can feel that the beef is ‘good’. Total: 93.5/100 Edit: 4 months later, I came again… I recalculated and gave this place a 92. The score went down a bit as I changed my rubric; and some points were lost for the price.

It's a long-established farm, prominent, with a small zoo for activities, a souvenir shop, a restaurant with a good atmosphere, parking, and comfortable restrooms, perfect for a good for Holidays.

Very good quality service at the japanese food festival buffet

Simply put, this is well-prepared, well-priced food. I’ve eaten several meals in this restaurant now, and none have disappointed me. As with my review of The Grill Room, which is located within the same hotel, my only critique is that the waitstaff could be a little more attentive. But that won’t affect my overall rating, as this place is just good!

I ate here for 3 days. The food was great and there were a lot of options for a good price (as only one person gets free breakfast per hotel room hence, I paid for mine). I also tried their cheeseburger and it was one of the juiciest fresh burgers that I’ve had. Staffs are all nice and attentive. They move fast as well. I definitely recommend this place.

I love this place ❤️. The food and company is always so good. A wide variety of international cuisine, including Thai, English, German. The owner and waitress offer a friendly service and great prices. Also, the music is very enjoyable too. Can't recommend highly enough!!

Found this place on google maps when stopping nearby and went for an early evening meal. We had a mixture of Thai and Western food, both of which were amongst the best I’ve eaten in Thailand. Goulash was amazing. Friendly owners, cold drinks and beer and plenty of fans inside if it’s hot. Will definitely return.

Great combination of german/western and Thai food. Many Farangs enjoy here and my Thai wife and child enjoyed the Thai food as well.
