Important monument in Korat city. When u been Korat until you’ve paid respect to Grandma Mo also known Ya Mo (as Suranaree is known locally). At night really peaceful and Monday - Sunday Open 24 hours . The recommend to visit and pay respect .

Interesting monument. It will be very crowded since it fits right on the street. Parking is almost difficult to do it's better to use a taxi to the monument and dropping you off and picking you up after you finish business way with Ya Mo. Everyone who travel to this city should go there pay the respect to Thao suranari monument for you blessful life, I recommend, at least one time of your whole life.

Tiny one room museum with some gorgeous items to look at. Peeking through the window of their storeroom at the ceramics they can’t display is a must. It’s 100 baht entry price is the same as much larger museums in Asia, but it’s worth a visit. And there’s not much else to do for tourists in this city. We were staying using it as a base to visit archeological sites.

Wat Sala Loi Wat Sala Loi is located at northeast of city, about 500 meters from Rob Mueng Road. Wat Sala Loi is built by the Khorat heroine Thao Suranari and her husband in 1827. A mini temple wonderland. Lots of Buddhist temples, statues and deities to see, and worship if you are so inclined. I went during a Buddhist holiday so the place was very busy with worshipers. Very interesting to see how people paid their respects. Nice cafe situated in the middle of the complex too. Near the water fountain. Worth a look.

Praying for our family to be healthy, wealthy and happy. Khun Ya Mo is a real of Korat people belief and always in my mind as she was our heroine and being as the strongest mother who loved her people and family. Not a big temple complex but the main building is nice . There are a number of sculptures around and a man-made cave. Plenty of parking and there are other attractions close by.

The royal temple of Nakhon Ratchasima and in my opinion also the only one I really see getting a clear 5 star review. Very well kept temple grounds and as an extra bonus they got this small cave with Buddha statues inside. Definitely a must visit temple when coming to the city

It's really beautiful. Not only the church but also the garden is very spectacular.

Even though this is a big temple, maintenance was really bad. Stray dogs enjoy threatening visitors, but especially locals, nobody cares about this matter.

I came here the first time that I was in Korat and really liked it. So this time, I rented a room in a hotel across the road so that I could just walk over and enjoy the facilities. There are walking and cycling tracks around the lake as well as a coffee shop, some vendors, exercise equipment and paddle boats. It is very busy in the evening. My only complaint was that the entry gates along the adjoining main road were locked most of the times when I wanted to access the park. My hotel was situated between the 2 main entrances which necessitated navigating a small footpath encumbered by many trees. Somewhat dangerous. If you are climbing the observation tower, watch your head. I am only short and I whacked my head on a platform over the steep stairs. I am very pleased that places like this are set aside for people to enjoy.

This park is a vital part of our Korat experience. Every day, usually morning and evening, we walk and jog on the paved path around the man-made lake. It is remarkable to see a community exercising together. Nice views.

Very clean and well maintained site. Staff inside the visitor's center were helpful and greeted us with kindness. There are plenty of shady benches to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall though it's a small site compared with other historic sites in central Thailand. In my opinion, not worth the 200 baht entry price, which was 10 times the price my partner paid. I've traveled all over this country and have visited over 50 national parks, so I have a good feel for what you should expect for 100, 200, 300, and 400 baht entry. And I'm used to dual pricing too, but 200 is too high for this site, and 10 times the local price is just insulting. I'm sorry to say that I don't recommend this site, no matter how pretty it is.

That's amazing! The weather was lovely, perfect for a leisurely walk around the spacious 100-rai property. The grounds are beautifully preserved, with different rooms showcasing the architecture. At the back, there’s a massive tree believed to be over 400 years old. Admission: 200 baht for foreigners, 20 baht for Thai nationals, and free for children under 12. Parking: Available near the entrance, fits around 15 cars. Museum: Air-conditioned and pleasantly cool inside. Restrooms: Very clean. It’s absolutely worth bringing children to experience and appreciate ancient Khmer art. A truly valuable and worthwhile visit! ❤️🙏

I love these ancient temples. This one doesn't disappoint and is very impressive. You can tell that there has been a lot of effort put into it and I think more restoration and access to closed off areas would enhance the place more.

Beautiful and underrated historical site Phimai Historical Park really surprised me. The temple complex is huge, peaceful, and full of amazing Khmer-style architecture. The carvings and layout are incredibly detailed, and you can easily imagine how impressive this place must have been hundreds of years ago. I loved how quiet and relaxing the park felt — not crowded at all, so you can take your time walking around, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. It’s well maintained, the lawns are clean, and the whole area has a very calm, ancient vibe. The sunlight can get strong, so bring water and a hat if you go during the day. The entrance fee is fair - 200 baht for foreigners, and I’d say the park is absolutely worth a visit if you’re in Korat or anywhere nearby. Overall: a beautiful, historic place that’s perfect for a slow, meaningful stop. Highly recommend! 💯

Not as impressive as Terminal 21 but still very beautiful inside and also very very big. Nice food court and a huge variety of shops. Whatever you want or need you will definitely be able to find it here. Worth a visit and only 15-20 minutes walking distance from Terminal 21 or the train station. By the way their arcade is bigger and better than the one in Terminal in my opinion

Similar to most shopping malls in design and operation but somehow seemed to have a wider range of products and even more products on display than some branches in the capital (BKK). Big, for me it is hard to find my way in here, about confused about the mall layout, plus maybe im old (42). But sometimes can find some bargains here from the floor market "tents".. it got something for everyone. This place has both expensive original stores and cheaper outlets.

The big mall of Korat. The location is beside of Mitraphap road. The mall available for water park. The restaurant inside have many type of food such as Chinese, Korea, Japan and English style. The parking is so good that free of charge for the first 2 hour (please check the condition).

Interesting shopping mall that would not be out of place in Bangkok. Great range of shops and some interesting decorations depicting the various locations. I particularly liked the bronze effect figurines which depict characters you may find at various places.

A proper mall in the heart of Korat. You may not find many brands like Nike, Adidas, Pull&Bear and Sony. But the H&M is nice, you have a Peak bball flagship store, food court is solid, and the vibe is great.

In my humble opinion I actually this Terminal 21 is the best and most decorative in Thailand. They still got the same theme of course but this one just has more stunning interior. Absolutely a must see shopping mall in Nakhon Ratchasima. They food court is also good, cheap and very big. Will recommend eating here

Free to enter. About 18 floors up? You can see the buildings around the tower and they have free binoculars you can play with. You have to wait a while for the elevator though. I don't recommend this to people with motion sickness since the tower does sway a little so you get dizzy when you're up there.

I thought it may require a fee for entry so I only dropped by on my last day before leaving Korat. It was surprisingly free. Took the lift up and there was an officer on duty for managing the crowd. Not a very big place, needed about 15mins unless you really look and observe. Can see almost the whole of Korat town.

Great views and worth stopping by if your in the area. This is also a pretty fun mall and maybe the best one out of the bunch there in the area. Caught a thunder storm coming in which made it a little better.

After a meal at Santa Fee Steakhouse I turn to Floor 5 and take the Lift to Floor 12.... it's nice to see the view over Korat City!

Free to see the city of Korat from the top of the Skydeck Tower. Not the most amazing city to see from above but interesting all the same. Not very clear, not clear at all, how to reach the top. Just by pure chance the lift opened and brought me to the top. I was at the top of the mall and I mistakenly thought that was the top, or the limit to what we could see. Which would have been disappointing as the views were obscured. Luckily I did get to the top, a 360 view 110 metres high. Views were clear and the room was nice and air conditioned.

Lots of young monks cleaning up. But it's like those stale city temples. Just weary and pathetic.

Fantastic shopping places and indoor playground for kids! Each floor is showing different city from the world. Very clean, safe, and well-organized. Lots of fun zones for all ages, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I bought very nice books. Kids love the place too!

The playground here is very large and has a lot of fun activities! However, it’s more suitable for children over 5 years old. It’s not really recommended for toddlers under 4, as there are quite a few areas where small kids aren’t allowed to play. Please note that many of the good reviews refer to the mall, not the Harbor Land. The price is extremely high for a Thai attraction. We got in a bit cheaper as we entered past 18 p.m. Still, you have to buy no slip socks. You cannot bring your own as they all need to look the same. The children get a bracelet with a color (apparently according to their size). What I did not know at that time: Children are only allowed to use slides and so on according to the color of their bracelet. And most of the stations cannot be used by younger children. Our 4 year old could not use most of the slides!! As I asked to measure again they confirmed less than 100cm (two doctors measured 101cm within less than a month from visiting harbor land). There is a lot of staff, but almost no one speaks English. The staff is very friendly. Would never go there again - particularly at this price point.

One of the places I have found to be very informative and providing more resources about Khorat and the city of Nakhon Ratchasima. The down side to foreign visitors however, is that a lot of the information is not in any foreign language, so it may be a little intimidating to visit. Enough to really follow along is provided though.

Can probably do better. No AC when I visited. Maybe 10% of the information are in English, hopefully Google Lens could translate photos, otherwise it would have been a pure waste of time. Could teach more about the history, it jumps from pre historic times to 18th century with some pictures in between, the city is older, more interesting facts can be probably said.

It is a nice small museum. There is a little information in English. I am sure it is very interesting if you can read the Thai language.

Always the best North-Eastern Thai foods in Nakhon Ratchasima. I have been know this restaurant since I was 5 years old and they still serve the best tasty foods to the customers. Love the Flammable Grilled Chicken, Papaya Salad with Fermented Fish, and Namtok Pork. Nice place to bring your colleagues or your whole family to spend the time in this restaurant together.

Everything okay except Somtam. Mi Karat is delicious.

Good place for Som-Tum, Kai Yang(Grilled Chicken) The place is relatively clean but not so clean. No parking space. Parking on the street in front of the bistro. Busy hour is horrible time to go since no parking. Fair price for food.

Here you can see a historic gate that I think is (one of) the last remnant(s) of the town’s old wall (I believe this gate was reconstructed / renovated, though). You can also see the statue of the town’s heroine named Ya Ma; many people make offerings to her, also known as “making merit.” You can buy cigarettes and betel chew to offer to the statue.

Ordinary town center site: if you are spiritual you can 'make Merit' here by performing traditional ceremonial rites at the center statue of the Korat Heroine 'Ya Mo' (asymbolic offering of betal nut). Many things were under construction and in disarray when I was there. There's a bunch of playground slides and such but some were in disrepair. A lot of people selling lottery tickets and the option to make Merit by feeding fish in pigeons, but if you don't like these types of birds perhaps stay away from that. Suppose an appropriate option in the evenings to get some exercise by walking around.

My second time in Korat Zoo. Book at last 3 hours. Zoo has amazing collection of animals it is design like a beautiful garden. Few option to ride inside Zoo my preferred is bike. I love the dear are walki inside freely. Do not miss a seal and pingwin show or duck feeding fish in a pond. Check my the video.

Nice and Clean place. We rent a golf cart to explorer the place which really convenient for us, due to we can stop wherever to see and to take the photos of the animals. We love this place very much of course we will return to visit this place again. The kids really enjoy this place.

Amazing zoo, definitely one of must see and visit if you’re nearby. 15 min drive from center of Korat. Unique experience to feed a Giraffe. But she was not so much in 🍃 she came after she saw 🍌. You will stay in memories for ever. Keep up with great work you do.

Lots of parking spaces and plenty of ways to get around inside — trams, bicycles, and golf carts are all available. They have the only African elephants in Thailand, which is really cool! All the animals look healthy. Great place to spend a day! 🐘🌳

The zoo is a wonderful place to visit for both locals and tourists. There is a foreigner price like most attractions in Thailand but it is clearly posted on every sign and very reasonable price too. Staff were all really nice, all the animals looks happy and healthy. We rented a couple of golf carts too which were a very good price too. The Zoo was huge and we couldn't see everything we wanted to so if you do come I recommend giving yourself at least 2 hours to explore. The water park is also a nice addition however when we visited the 2 biggest rides were closed. We had a really fun time and would recommend here to anyone.

We came late due to the jam caused by many people returning to their hometown for the new year 2025. We were lucky to be given a chance to go to the top of the Elephant Museum to pray to LP Koon statue that is almost 99% resemblance to LP Koon.

If you want to see alot of beautiful art and learn more about the way too nirvana this is a must go. Really big place with much to see.

Very nice park. Entry was 200 Baht for adults and 150 for 60+. It included access to the flora park and the rose park. To go between them, a trolley is available every hour. You do need your tickets when arriving at the rose park! We went in December, and nit everything was in bloom, but it was still very prety. Next to the Flora park is a restaurant with great chicken wings!

I've visited Flora Park several times over the years. The flowers were still as lovely as ever. There are trolleys to take you to the rose garden not far away. Still think it's the best flower park around the Wang Nam Kheo area. Worth a visit though the fee is rather high.

Nice place to stop by. For one ticket you get Flora Park and Rose Park, which is nearby and accessed by your transport or shuttle from Flora Park. Great to walk around and view scenery. Various snacks and drinks are served on premises.

Beautiful floral park in the Nakhon Ratchasima, north east of Thailand. Nice day out with friends and family if you happen to travel near the area, but it's not worth it if you're visiting Thailand for the first time. The best time to visit is during the Thailand cold season, others season it's way too hot and not many flowers to look at.

Went to the flora park today. Unfortunately it looked like the season is over for now. Most of the flowers were dry. And the area was not that well maintained this time. Entrance fee was reduced from 200 to 80 Baht.

Nice flower garden with an observation deck. The deck has a "mini teamLab" room for a little fun. There is also a rose garden at the back with a shuttle bus run every hour. Recommend to go in the late afternoon because it was too hot even in Feb. Restaurant and cafe on site are pretty good and reasonable price.

This is a very nice place. We went in January and the prices went down already. 150 for adult and 100 THB for kids (I think 90/100cm to 130cm) and people over 60. There is a shuttle bus to the Rose Garden which is also very nice.

Interesting historical religious ruins. Built around 1000 AD by the Kmer. Took about 25 minutes to see everything. It’s a bit out of town, it took us 30 minutes to get there from middle of Korat.

A khmer styled Saiva(Hindu) temple originally dedicated to lord Shiva the supreme god of Saivas(Hindu) later it was modified and dedicated to Buddha. Shiva Uma and Nandi status were damaged but can’t hide the truth from the nature.

One of the iconic deserted (but well-maintained) shrines in northeastern Thailand in Khmer architecture, Prasat Hin Phanom is one of the must-gos in Nakhon Ratchasima, apart from the well-known Prasat Hin Phimai. Though hard to find for those unfamiliar to the locality, it is rewarding for those who wished to seek an enclosed historical park. There is also a toilet there. On the weekday, it is advisable to visit there, for there are not many people around (quite worth seeing, though).

Lovely staff and something amazing to see. Entrance fee is 80 baht. It was empty when we visited around lunch time so we had the whole thing pretty much to ourselves.

5th May 2019. Hard to contemplate what you see. A real mixture, Planet of the Apes, modern themes, dinosaurs, animals from all over, and hell and temptation. Shows such a mixed up world and above it is the golden temple, maybe. Worth a visit but allow time as its a big area. Admire the dedication of the Monk who has put this together over many years.

A must see place. Very strange scenes around every corner apparently depicting hell, some are shown in various graphic and gruesome ways.

This temple is definitely off the beaten track. Expect some dirt roads. This is a very unique Buddhist temple with resident monks and a large garden of sculptures. These sculptures tell the story of wars and invasions of Siam, sinners descent into hell, and the kingdom of heaven. The hellscape is has sinners being punished according to their sins. It's not quite to the vivid imagination of Hieronymus Bosch, but close. The path to heaven is of course the 2 story temple that features reliefs of many monks, Hindu deities, and of course Buddha. If you're in the area, it's a one of a kind temple.

Personally tough this place is not maintained well and didn't find anyone, even staffs around the vicinity- I reached about 11am. Access through roads sometimes need to drive on the non paved road and quite a distance. Was a little disappointed

We found this park very different and hard to explain. Very ran down...We didn't take the time to even take pictures. Guessing it's a Thai version of hell. Can't recommend unless you are a freak or it's in your studies.

Quietly tucked away in a corner of Khao Yai is this well thought out farm suitable for young children and adults alike. There are animals and agricultural sections which can be thoroughly enjoyed and experienced through the farm tour at 10am, 1pm or 3pm. Learn about the techniques they employ throughout the site even try your hand at picking fresh fruit and veggies and having them prepared served fresh at the quaint cafe afterwards. The foods served at the cafe is also a must try. A night stay or two can let you forget about the hustle and bustle of life and truly immerse nature with being. There’s no lack of activity at this farm and a wonderful spot for some peace, learning and enjoyment

Went for breakfast here in Khao Yai, such a beautiful cafe and location. Nice menu, an English/Thai/Italian fusion. Lovely smoothies and cold press juice options. Organic food. A cute farm shop. And, not to forget the lovely staff, everyone who greeted us was friendly and polite. Didn’t say at the hotel so can’t comment on the rooms. It’s also dog friendly. Happy to recommend! A must visit 🌻

We have a good time and a great food here also so much enjoy all activities in the Greenme organic Farm Khao Yai; Plant, flower and animal. All stuffs have a good taking care of us. Campgound for people who live in nearby province. Easily travel from Bangkok. You can hear many animal sound at night. Full moon night made me happy with this place.

What a great experience. Especially as a tourist. Camping in Canada is quite different but the family style set up with the tents and the food stalls is cozy and convenient. Again , not like the camping i am used too, a lot more people. However the hiking trails were beautiful and the waterfalls were stunning. I would definitrly recomend this trip to anyone who enjoys camping.

Cool camp site. Amenities are good. Just bring your own food and light. They have charcoal, fire pits, tents, sleeping bags, pillows, ground sheet to rent for pretty cheap. Deer all over the camp site who love to raid tents. Keep your tent closed.

An interesting place, hidden away in the centre of Korat, it comprises an exhibition of local pottery and a reconstructed Thai house with a very friendly and helpful guide.
