Bordeaux, hub of the famed wine-growing region, is a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France. It’s known for its Gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, 18th- to 19th-century mansions and notable art museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Public gardens line the curving river quays. Museum
Cultural center
Cité du Vin is a cutting-edge wine museum housed in a striking curved aluminum and glass structure in Bordeaux. It offers interactive displays, guided tours, and tastings to educate visitors about the history and production of wine globally. The museum's modern design reflects the swirling motion of both the adjacent Garonne River and wine in a glass. With themed routes and multimedia exhibits, it explores wine's impact on history, geography, culture, and civilization.
Extremely well done - highly informative and interactive, incorporating all of the senses! You can learn as little or as much as you'd like, but one can easily spend a few hours here. The tasting (with 13 different wines from which to choose) on the top floor with beautiful views was icing on the cake on a beautiful summer's day. There is non-alcoholic options as well! Very well air-conditioned, so going in the heat of the afternoon during the heat dome was a huge relief as well! This is a must-visit while in Bordeaux, even if you don't like wine.

Hard to fault this place. I visited around 6 years ago and it’s only got better. A comprehensive tale of world wine history. A good tasting on the 8th floor featuring international wines. I tried a Swiss wine that was new to me. There are lockers to hold bags as you wander. Excellent easy to use audio guide. A good Bodega. Prices are not crazy they cater for all tastes.
Craig T — Google review
La Cité du Vin is an absolute must-visit in Bordeaux — more than a museum, it’s a full sensory journey into the world of wine. The interactive exhibits are beautifully designed, combining history, culture, and tasting experiences in a modern, engaging way. You can easily spend hours exploring and still discover something new. The architecture itself is stunning, with its flowing, glassy curves reflecting the Garonne. Don’t miss the panoramic tasting room at the top — the view is spectacular. A brilliant tribute to wine culture, innovation, and pleasure.

LOVED this amazing museum!! It had the most immersive experience including aroma generator technology that I did not know existed. You can smell the aromas of a myriad of scents that are produced from wines, cognac, liquors, and champagne. And the production, service, and industry is covered at great detail. Fun for everyone of all ages. And the ticket provides for two samples on the 8th floor with spectacular views! The restaurant food is excellent, with both vegetarian and meat, seafood offerings. The desserts are amazing! Love the model and the story behind this innovative museum created from a competition around 2010.
Shafi K — Google review
Cité du Vin wine museum offers a fascinating journey through the history and culture of winemaking. The exhibits are well-curated, blending tradition with interactive displays. It’s the perfect place for wine enthusiast. After the exhibits, you can go to the 8th floor to enjoy a panoramic view of the Garonne river in Bordeaux while tasting your favourite wine.
Yash V — Google review
Highly recommended to visit! They share wine knowledge in a fun and interactive way. You can easily spend 2–3 hours there without even noticing the time. A super interesting place if you love wine! We went on a Monday, and it was still fairly busy. Probably best to avoid weekends!
HYE S — Google review
It's a highly informative and beautifully interactive museum. Make sure to try the wine tasting on the top floor—the view is beautiful, but the wines are average. If you have two days or more in Bordeaux, this place is definitely a must-visit.
Gul S — Google review
Whether you are a wine drinker or not. This is by far one of the most interactive museums you could go to. Well priced and super modern. It has Something for everyone. Plus the tickets can come with wine for before or after visit, this area showcases great views of the city. The wine shop they have is also a big plus. Some fantastic local and imported wines.

Performing arts theater
Concerts & Shows
The Opéra National de Bordeaux - Grand-Théâtre is a stunning neoclassical building with a facade dating back to 1780. It serves as a venue for operas, dance performances, and music concerts. The theater is an essential part of Bordeaux's cultural scene and boasts an impressive permanent staff including musicians, dancers, and singers. With its grand architecture and diverse range of performances throughout the year, it remains one of the most popular attractions in the city.
This is a wonderful old Theatre built in the late 1700s. The outside architecture is like the Parthenon. The interior of the theater is beautifully appointed and richly decorated. It has fought years within the auditorium. It is shaped like a horseshoe in front of the stage, and we were fortunate enough to buy tickets to see the ballet. A wonderful experience with a brilliant troop of dancers. There are guided tours available to book and I highly recommend visiting this beautiful building.
G M — Google review
The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux is a stunning building with impressive architecture and rich history. The details inside are truly breathtaking, and it’s definitely worth a visit for anyone who appreciates classical design. However, we were disappointed that access was very limited—we could only see a small part of the theater instead of exploring more of the beautiful spaces. Still, it’s a must-see landmark in Bordeaux, and if you can catch a performance, it’s probably even better!
Marietta T — Google review
I took a visit, not an opera performance. The architecture of the building is very interesting and beautiful but the experience was not that pleasant. The guide was late, I had to follow him during all the time (I prefer to take my time to enjoy the place). Even other guide come tell him that we can't stay there in that moment...
Luis Q — Google review
For me it was the best architectural monument to see in Bordeaux... Highly recommended to buy advance tickets if you want to enter inside. Obviously for me the best view was at night when all the lights were lit up.
Aranya S — Google review
A mini Paris opera house . I had a very swell priced box seat for a ballet . Highly recommend. Also there is only one bar so you are not going to get a drink unless you pre reserve it at the beginning !!
Matthew M — Google review
Huge building with pillared facade, very impressive, making a statement to Bordeaux whealth. Situated in a square surrounded by cafes
Ewan B — Google review
Did you know that you can buy cheaper tickets just an hour before the spectacle? Beautiful masterpiece of Victoria Louis
Guide M — Google review
We were extremely lucky to have the chance to take part on a tour inside this beautiful building - it is opened for visitors for only two days every year. The concert hall is a gem (though the seats are not from the most comfortable ones), and there is a great view from the balcony.

Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the heart of Bordeaux, Grosse Cloche, or "Big Bell," is a captivating historical landmark that dates back to the 15th century. This impressive bell and clock tower was originally part of the city's medieval fortifications and served as an alarm system for fires. Weighing an astonishing 7.75 tons, the bell rings on special occasions like Remembrance Day and Fete Nationale, echoing stories from centuries past.
This is a neat bell tower to see, especially on the first Sunday of each month. That’s when they actually ring it at noon. There are neat book stores & eateries down the street from the bell. We sat outside and had breakfast with a perfect view of it. Also, about a block down Victor Hugo Rue there is a Falling Car poking out of a parking garage that’s fun to find and see!
Kat F — Google review
A beautiful bell tower and gate from the old city wall of Bordeaux. The bell is seldom used now but the tower and the gate remain. A great place to visit.
C N — Google review
Behold the majestic Grosse Cloche, a historic gem of Bordeaux, France! Originally part of the city’s medieval fortifications in the 13th century, this stunning tower once guarded the gates with pride, its sturdy stone walls standing as a symbol of strength and resilience. Over the centuries, it evolved into a beloved landmark, its grand clock and bell ringing out to mark time and celebrate the spirit of the community. Today, the Grosse Cloche thrives as a vibrant centerpiece of Bordeaux’s old town, drawing visitors from around the world with its timeless charm. Surrounded by bustling streets and lively crowds, it stands tall under the bright July sky, inspiring all who pass by to embrace history, unity, and the endless possibilities of the present!
Dave — Google review
Such a lovely surprise in the middle of Bordeaux! The Grosse Cloche is a beautiful old bell tower that looks like it came straight out of a fairytale. You can’t go inside most of the time, but even just seeing it from the street is magical. It’s not a big attraction — more of a “wow, look at that!” moment during a walk through the old town. Totally worth stopping for a photo and soaking up the history. There are cute little cafés around too, so it’s a great place for a coffee break.
Irina B — Google review
What a wonderful gate! The whole street leading to it is very very pretty
Flo — Google review
It was a lovely medieval style clock and was very central location in the old town of Bordeaux. I love history and it was nice to see history in person. I would consider it a must to at least see the clock in a visit to Bordeaux, France.

Shopping
Marché des Capucins, located in Bordeaux, France, is a long-established market known for its local produce, cheese, wine, and prepared foods. This bustling marketplace offers a wide variety of items including fresh baked pastries, locally sourced products, and French delicacies. Visitors can explore the stalls to find an array of options such as freshly sliced cheese and family-produced wines.
One of the best sea food options, fresh, accessible prices. It’s a must visit in Bordeux. Open only during the morning to 2 pm, be sure to add it to your list for a good gambas, crab or oysters 😏😋😋😋
MARLENE L — Google review
Fantastic local market in Bordeaux. Wonderful fresh produce and interesting snacks to buy. Unfortunately, it was a public holiday, so not everything was open, but still enjoyed it. We bought strawberries, fish, cheeses, and other fruit and vegetables
Melinda C — Google review
A nice market to visit. We enjoy having the truffle cheese and Bleu d'Auvergne from the cheese store there too (it’s the stall right at the entrance, with a green signboard). Shop owners were kind and patient in explaining things to us.
Janet L — Google review
This was a great market that was unfortunately not completely explored (my fault...I went straight for the seafood at Chez Jean-Mi). But it has a wide variety of shops, vendors, restaurants and is definitely worth a visit while in Bordeaux. We most certainly will return on our next visit!!
John T — Google review
Good place for early risers to check out a local market. Good selection of raw seafood, meats and even good wine and pastry. Easy walking from our Airbnb
Fook-Main H — Google review
It’s always nice to see what they have in the local market, isn’t it ? !

A little disappointing. Not full of stalls by any measure. Produce that was there was good but felt a bit run down.

Seafood restaurant
Le Petit Commerce is a charming bistro located in the historic St-Pierre quarter of Bordeaux. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating and dining rooms on both sides of a narrow pedestrian street. Renowned for its excellent seafood menu, the restaurant serves dishes such as oysters, langoustines, and grilled fish sourced from the waters of St Jean de Luz. Former Michelin-starred chef Stephane Carrade leads the culinary team, ensuring that every dish is inspired and flavorful.
Quaint small local restaurant with fantastic fresh seafood. Get the variety of shellfish plates in addition to their awesome oysters. Service was friendly and great values in wine. A place to return many times.
Rafael S — Google review
Traditional French “pecherie” with a modern twist- let’s say the only one restaurant we visited twice in 9 days in Bordeaux (even considering ten extra minutes walk) Erwin was our waiter each time and his recommendations were spot on! Gazpacho and the escargots were the best we got in SW France including some Michelin stars we visited ( for a fraction of the price). Highly recommended!
Sorin B — Google review
For a seafood restaurant, the dishes tasted a bit average and not as fresh as I expected. The razor clams were cooked well, though the flavor itself wasn’t that impressive. The atmosphere could be improved too—there was quite a strong kitchen smell, and while we were eating, flies were constantly buzzing around and landing on our seafood. We had to keep shooing them away, which made the hygiene standards feel questionable and the meal rather unpleasant. On the bright side, the desserts were a pleasant surprise—the crème brûlée and ice cream were both really nice. Service was fine, nothing outstanding but perfectly okay.
Lily Z — Google review
I had an excellent meal here with fresh and flavorful oysters followed by well seasoned and perfectly cooked monkfish. It’s in a touristy part of town, so there were fewer locals than I like to see. But, other than that, c’est bon! [PS. Regarding the flies, almost every restaurant I’ve gone to in France for the last 3+ weeks has had fruit flies. We’re not used to it in the US, but it’s common here.]
George S — Google review
We visited this place 3 times! Best one in Bordeaux. Oysters and crab are incredible! If you want to eat fresh delicious seafood - go here right away.

Variety and quality of Sea food was very good. Quantity with respect to price is still a question mark for me. Sitting environment could be more improve. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Happy hour oysters (€1) between 4-6pm. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the recommended wine was great, thank you! Great street for people waking, away from the square.
Wing C — Google review
In my opinion, a good chef can prepare good vegetables, even one specialized in fish. I do not eat fish, but my friend does, so we went to this restaurant. She assured me the fish was excellent, so no remarks on that. I however, ordered the only vegetarian main dish, which was room temperature gazpacho and a piece of toast. This cost me €20, even though it was tragically the same dish as the €12 gazpacho entrée. Honestly, I'd really like my €8 back so I can spend it some carrot sticks and hummus from Carrefour, because I would rather eat that than go to this restaurant again. My wallet and my digestion are crying. Edit November 2025: from the reaction of the owner you can tell a lot of things. Like from comparing the picture I posted to his description of the meal.

Cocktail bar
French restaurant
Symbiose is a trendy restaurant and bar in Bordeaux run by young entrepreneurs. The menu, which changes weekly, features dishes like monkfish medallions with watercress coulis, miso-lacquered eggplant, a cheese course with mimolette and pave of the Pyrenees, and dark chocolate whiskey torte with Chantilly cream.
Exceptional food, wine and service. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go here and you will not regret it.
Stijn W — Google review
The food was outstanding—both creative and flavorful. For me, the highlights were the sweetbreads and the steak tartare. Given that it's in Bordeaux, I had anticipated a broader selection of local wines by the glass, though perhaps that's not the focus here. As for the service, my wine order was forgotten, which is something I haven't experienced in quite some time. Nevertheless, this place has great potential and is an excellent spot overall.
Alan B — Google review
Really good food but probably some of the worst service I've experienced in France or England or Italy in the last 10 years. Table of 17 booked 5 months in advance, We booked a table outside and they put us inside. We asked to sit outside and they said it was impossible. Even though there were many tables free. It was uncomfortably warm inside. The duck starter it was incredible. Really delicious and exciting. But a couple of our friends were left waiting for more than 5 minutes when other dishes were on the table. And we saw the same dishes they were waiting for being served two tables next to us that sat down after us. Pork main was delicious, but again they forget two of our friends dishes (including the birthday boy) and they arrived unseasoned. The wine was good. A night of ups and downs.
Thomas S — Google review
At Symbiose, we had a truly lovely evening. The food was very good, the wine was excellent, and the view of the river and the big Ferris wheel made the setting even more special. The service was warm, friendly, and perfectly paced.
Nicole P — Google review
Really delicious food, probably the best beef tartare I've ever had! I'm not sure it counts as satay but it definitely does count as very tasty with a really good kick and a big garlic kick. Beetroot crisps and tartare is a revelation! The tomato tart was outstanding, really fresh and light, very highly recommended. The whiting quenelle was very good, I particularly enjoyed the mix of pickled celeriac with rich bisque. I enjoyed the hazelnut mackerel. I'm not sure it's exactly my taste but it was good. The zombie was incredibly good and I will now be trying ti incorporate patchouli into my cooking! Too it off with fantastic and knowledgeable service. I'd come back to bordeaux for this alone!
Robyn L — Google review
We read a bunch of reviews about this place and they were all fantastic, including a great write up in the Michelin guide. We were underwhelmed. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. The restaurant is very cute and the service was very good. Everyone was really friendly. I just didn't think the food was great and it definitely didn't have much in terms of kid-friendly options (although kid-friendly food just isn't really a thing in France the way it is in Canada or the US). Nothing was bad. I just was expecting more based on all the amazing reviews and awards and write ups.
Jaya C — Google review
We loved Symbiose. They made sure we were taken care of with both delicious food and amazing drinks. They made our dinner experience like no other. If you are in Bordeaux, definitely check them out! You will not be disappointed.
Meg P — Google review
We recently dined at Symbiose in Bordeaux and had an amazing experience. The meal was a 10/10, with the shared antipasto platter being a standout. Every item was local and fresh, leaving us very satisfied. Both our mains and desserts were enjoyed. This restaurant is definitely one of the best, with their magnificent cocktails adding to the experience. For warmer months, I would highly recommend sitting outside, although the inside is also beautiful.

Chef Fabien Beaufour curates an ever-evolving menu using top-quality produce from trusted suppliers, offering dishes like soft crab with coconut milk and lemon balm or roasted deer loin with beetroots and blackberries. Influenced by his international culinary experience, Beaufour incorporates a Japanese robata into many of his creations.
IG: @melvineateat 9.5/10 One of the best fine dining experience and meal I’ve had in Bordeaux. From the starters made from egg yolk to even the salad with frozen cheese and herbal infused oil, or the mains with a play on coconut and crab, the innovation behind it, the taste and balance were just amazing. Dessert were exceptional too, savoury yet sweet, service was top notch and recommendations of wines were also done very well

Le Cent 33 in Bordeaux offers an exceptional dining experience. The cuisine is outstanding, with each dish showcasing meticulous preparation and exquisite flavors. The wine pairings are thoughtfully selected, complementing the menu beautifully. The service is attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. However, during my visit, I noticed that some staff members had noticeable body odor, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Addressing this issue would elevate the dining experience to match the high standards of the food and service.

Wow—this was my favorite restaurant in Bordeaux! For a Michelin-star spot, it’s surprisingly affordable. The food was absolutely amazing, from the presentation to the flavors—everything was spot on. The service was excellent, and the ambiance made the experience even better. I 100% want to come back!
Carmen A — Google review
I had read about Le Cent 33 in a "best of" list of Bordeaux restaurants, and the staff did not disappoint! My wife and I opted for the four-course meal with wine pairings and it was sublime. Particularly good was the artichoke opening course and arctic char second course. My wife said the "honey & hay" dessert was one of the best she has had, and we've had a lot of great restaurant meals. The staff also deserves recognition. They were incredible friendly and welcoming. We especially liked the wine presentation (and found a new favorite Bordeaux red--Chateau Haut-Bergey). Lastly, the night we visited a two-piece jazz ensemble provided an extra dose of relaxed atmosphere, made even more special when the chef joined in! Highly recommended!

What an unforgettable experience we had at Cent Trente Trois. Every dish showcased the freshest seasonal ingredients, with the spring salad and asparagus entrée standing out as particular highlights. The creativity of the kitchen truly impressed us, from the trompe l'œil orange amuse-bouche to the playful champagne sorbet with its subtle fizz, and the unexpected yet perfect pairing of peanut butter with asparagus. Each course felt like a delightful surprise, and the thoughtfully curated wine pairing, plus a bold addition of sake, made the entire meal feel like a joyful culinary adventure. A heartfelt bravo to the inventive chef and the gracious, charming team of servers who clearly took pride in delivering such a memorable dining experience.

Le Bouchon Bordelais is a cozy bistro located in the heart of Bordeaux, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Chef Frederic Vigouroux's popular restaurant features rich, meat-oriented regional dishes paired with Bordeaux wines. The menu is market-driven and changes seasonally to showcase the best local products. Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes, from chilled pea-and-watercress soup to lamb bayaldi with pecorino.
Both the front and the back of the house were at the top of their game when I visited as a solo diner on a Friday night. I opted for a 6 course dinner with wine pairings. A memorable experience!

Came here on a Tuesday evening after making a reservation online for 8:15. They aptly call it a cozy restaurant because the tables were already 75% full in spite of opening at 8pm and new arrivals had to squeeze in sideways to get to their seat. The tables nearby had many couples, 1 singleton, groups of friends, even a dog (first time seeing this while in Bordeaux). The service is 100%+ positivity and energy and joy. Their excitement and authentic desire to make your evening special is palpable. I was impressed at their speed of speech in both French and English. They offer a 4 or 6-dish set. We chose the 4. The entrees were okay. The plat and dessert were divine. The restaurant feels like a happening place to be. It is definitely fun to sit near the wall and people watch. Thank you for a fun night!

This was a wonderful dining experience. Everything from the atmosphere to the food and the service was fantastic. Every single dish was delicious and unique. The wine pairings were perfect. Both of our servers were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I wish we had gone here earlier during our trip so that we could have eaten here twice.

Not to be missed. The 4 or 6 prix fixe dinner is super. We opted to not have the wine pairing but rather fewer glasses of wine recommended by the wait staff. It is Bordeaux, there is no bad wine.
James B — Google review
We recently spent 3 weeks in Spain and France, including a wine focused river cruise and quite frankly, this was one of the best dining experiences we had. The 6 course Tasting Menu was exquisitely prepared, highlighting French cuisine using local ingredients and was simply outstanding. We chose the wine pairing option and were not disappointed. We've tasted quite a few wines on this trip and these 6 wines were some of the best. They truly enhanced the "gastronomical" experience. Our servers were delightful, clearly explaining each dish and pairing with pride. When you visit Bordeaux, make a point to have dinner here. We certainly enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too. Enjoy! Restaurant Le Prince Noir par Vivien Durand is located in the chateau of Lormont, offering a modern take on Basque-inspired cuisine. Chef Vivien Durand's creative dishes feature ingredients like piquillo coulis, sheep's cheese, and Ibaiana pork. The restaurant's unique setting within the historic chateau provides a sense of exploration and adventure.
Great fine dining experience. When I was looking for the place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I took into account a lot of factors - but the main was if the chef is keen to preserve natural food taste. I don't enjoy molecular cuisine, I love when food taste is unusual but recognizable. Here it was 10/10. While experimenting with different tastes, you can easily distinguish different flavors and enjoy their combination. Food was excellent. Service was great but way too slow to my taste as we spent full 4 hours in the place. Recommended!

Great food. The place is like a mini chateau. Once we arrived we were escorted to another room. The staff made us drinks and we had a few great appetizers. After that we were escorted to our table for dinner. We had 5 amazing courses with wine pairing. Staff was very attentive. They even gave us a copy of our customized menu. Thank you for an amazing experience. Will have to go bsvk next time i am in Bordeaux.

I recently visited Le Prince Loir and had their signature menu with 7 courses. Unfortunately, my dining experience was quite disappointing. The boiled carrot lacked any real flavor and was very bland, which was disappointing considering that even a simple dish like boiled carrot should be prepared with care to ensure that it is properly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fish dish I ordered was not palatable at all, as it had an extremely fishy taste that completely overwhelmed the natural flavors of the ingredients. I found it difficult to enjoy the dish and ended up leaving most of it uneaten. I also noticed that the kitchen seemed to remove the tasty bits of the ingredients. For instance, the dried cherry tasted herbaceous due to being soaked in olive oil and losing its freshness. Additionally, the cucumber/cherry sorbet was overly sour, which was disappointing as it had the potential to be a refreshing palate cleanser. Overall, despite the excellent location and the welcoming staff, I felt that Le Prince Loir failed to demonstrate any real technique in cooking, and the menu seemed to be put together haphazardly with random ingredients that didn't really work together. Given the number of great restaurants in the area, I would hesitate to recommend this one based on my experience.

What a wonderful experience at Le Prince Noir! First of all, the grounds are stunning. Come early to walk around, enjoy the scenery around the restaurant. Second, the service is excellent. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with your needs. Lastly, the food was incredible. One of my favorite dining experiences in Bordeaux.
Brian J — Google review
The vibe at Le Prince Noir is quirky and fun. It is clear the chef has put a ton of his personality into the decor which includes a TV showing Street Fighter II on SNES and a wide variety of pop art. The music also leans in a more Gen X classics direction which sets the mood as more casual. I did feel the grounds and gardens that surround the property and provide much of the outlook from the lovely glass enclosed veranda could be better kept as it was quite overrun by weeds which detracted from its enjoyment. Overall though, the old chateau setting with updated modern architectural touches is a fun juxtaposition. The service was friendly, but slow and bordering on inattentive. I suspect this was because we were seated the duration on the veranda with only one other table while the rest of the guests were in the main dining room. This meant the waitstaff needed to spend more time there with us being a bit out of sight. The pacing of meal was painfully slow for my taste, meaning we often sat waiting with empty glasses and plates for 30 minutes at a time. Finally the food; I have to admit that I felt disappointed here. Many of the dishes sounded great on paper, but many of the interesting flavors were lost on the palette. The malted toasted brioche with smoked butter, black pepper and strawberry coulis was the worst offender here; the strawberry syrup completely dominated the taste profile and there was no discernible flavor of pepper while the brioche honestly just felt like hard bread that made eating with just the spoon provided rather difficult. I was honestly shocked a Michelin restaurant would serve a dessert this poor. The foie gras/asparagus was fairly flat and again dominated by the sauce, letting the taste of neither shine through. I did not enjoy the pea dish as I found them unpleasantly raw while the sauce they were in was actually quite good. The better dishes we had were the langostine, cod and pigeon as well as the strawberry sorbet dessert with chile pepper infused syrup and the vegetal mint sorbet to finish. I also quite enjoyed the vast majority of the wine pairings. Sadly nothing served “wow”ed me which I do hope to get a little of here or there at such a restaurant. Plenty of other people thoroughly enjoy the offerings here and clearly other groups truly loved the offerings this night, so I expect that this might be a case of “this place is not to my taste”. Overall the price point for both the dinner and wine pairing seem a great value, but sadly this was my first time dining at a Michelin restaurant where I was wishing for it to hurry up and be over with only 5/8 courses served.

The pros : modern restaurant, original concept (no dishes indicated on the menu, based on chef ideas and product availability), custom menu for children The cons : some of the dishes were great, some were just good

My favorite restaurant in Bordeaux. And our favorite chef. It’s absolutely bonkers how good it is. We also love their bistro, Gauta.. absolutely superb!
