Such a disappointing experience. We stayed an extra night in Bordeaux just so we could go to this spa. When we arrived there they asked for a specific type of shorts for men. Apparently the type of shorts my bf was wearing wasn’t as tight as they would want it to be. We have been in spas all around the world and its the first time we heard that the same swimsuit you use to swim at the beach you cannot use inside a pool. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

By the way kind enough to accomodate a swim trunk replacement because I didn’t have one available. The locker are clean, 2 showers for when you rinse off and get out. The hammam space (regular steam and another room with hotter steam) reminded me the traditional ones I went to in Morocco. Scent, ambiance, cold bucket of water to cool down, showers spread out in the rooms… just so great! The pool area is big enough to swim a few breastrokes (not large, though they are under construction to enlarge it big time - you don’t see or hear contructions as it’s next door building for now…), I didn’t get in the sauna for personal preference, it’s there. If you go on a tuesday/thursday it’s likely that it’s less busy, I went on a thursday in May, was practically alone and felt like heaven! The complimentary mint tea is simply delicious. The rest room is perfect for a nap, catching up on your phone/headphone (it’s a quite place so no talking… feels good). Upstairs there is also a restauration/work area, and during summer the outside terrace is open. I got a body scrub + entrance fee for a total of 75 euros, it was worth it, the 12 mins service was given by Camille who is an outside practitioner, super well done.
