Very tasty, authentic Italian pizzas. A twelve seat restaurant makes it a very cozy place. Reservations are a must although you can also order pizzas for take away.

Truly one of the best pizzas places in the city! The menu is changed every season, and the pizzas are out of the ordinary. I tried the pistachio pizza which was delicious, with the best buffalo mozzarella ever. The staff is Italian and very friendly. Be aware though, there are only a few tables so it might be better to book or to take away :)

Absolutely WOW! 5 stars+! I believe it’s one of the best pizza‘s I ever ate in my life! What I tried: Tartufo pizza, tiramisu (excellent!) a rose wine and sparkling water. Photos with everything attached. Prices are average (€€): a pizza costs between 10-15€ (full pizza menu attached - from 28.06.2019), and a glass of wine around 4-5€. They have a wide variety of Italian (and not only) wines. The host speaks many languages (English, French, Italian) so it’s easy to order and get around. Chef & help are Italian. Regarding the place, location-wise it’s quite perfect, since it’s close to the center and you can either have lunch or dinner in between tourist activities. The place inside is quite small, with around 10-12 places - they have many orders “to go”. However, it has an interesting clean interior design (photos attached). Overall, I highly recommend this place! If you’re a pizza lover you need to try it!

We has seen reviews on line about this place and it was in walking distance of our hotel so we went there. There are only a few tables so most of the business is take away. We were told it would be an hour so we went away and had a drink on the river front and went back later. We got a Parma and a Rossa - recommended by the charming pizza maker. Both were great but particularly the Rossa. I would definitely try it again.

Delicious pizza!! We have tried Margherita which was a very good choice. Quickly served with amazing Neapolitan dough. The prices are quite elevated but still, I think it's worth the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. It is approximately 13-15€ per pizza.

Rare gem, which can find in the world. Fantastic dough, rich taste of the pizza! Great team work! Last year for 2 month travelling around whole Italy, couldn't find such quality of Pizza Napolitana, even In Napoli! Looked so delicious, that forgot to take a photo.

Excellent Neapolitan wood fired oven pizza. Decent value considering the quality of the ingredients (the tomato sauce is yummmy). Home made ice cream was really good too. Very nice patio area out front. Worth stepping inside to see the decor. Wine list features Italian wines which is funny to see in Bordeaux!

Absolutely gorgeous pizza. I have eaten many a pizza, hence my type 2 diagnosis but on reflection I would rate this as possibly my best pizza. Friendly attentive service, without being pushy. I would have loved to try the pudding but even for me I was too full. We were there for opening but it soon filled up. I could see a French person calling the waiter over to gesture how good the food was. So it pleases the French☺️

VERY delicious pizza and super cozy place to sit outside on the street in the evening! The service was attentive and accepted special requests. It does get quite busy in the evenings, and the tables are very close together. But that isn’t a problem when you like the cozy vibe overall, than its just perfect.🤌🏼

Great spot for a pizza. Loved talked to the owner about their oven. It’s a beautiful oven and makes delicious neopolitan pizza. And it’s electric! Such a cool innovation. We also had the mozarelle fumee for a starter, which was delightful. A note that they do take reservations so might want to call ahead of time if going at a peak hour like 8pm. We went at 7pm as a party of 2 and were able to get a table. They do a lot of take out as well!

Top quality ingredients that shine in the pizza! Everything feels fresh and delicious! You can tell a lot of care goes into providing excellent food. We were lucky to grab the last table without a reservation. The staff is super welcoming and friendly to locals and forgeries alike. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxing. Busy yet quite nice place.. But we were kind of disappointed with the pizzas and my friend felt a bit discomfort after. I could definitely tell that our choice I would not recommend to others. Service was good , the girl was friendly and attentive. Even they were very busy. Drinks were good and interesting selection of Italian vines.

Great pizza restaurant in Bordeaux. The truffle pea salad was amazing. The pizza is cook with a wood burning oven which give an amazing texture. The dough is crisp and service was friendly. Very nice authentic Napolitan pizza! We tried Regina pizza which was very good! Delicious dough, cooked in the fire oven, with freshly prepared tomatosauce and very good italian jambon! The Caprese salad was very nice too. Good prices with Fork also. The only downside was that the wine quality was not the best (We tried their Primitivo by glass)...

There's a reason why this place is always packed, the pizza is so good that you'll believe you've somehow been transported to Italy for dinner! Just look at my pics and I can assure you, it tastes even better than it looks. The restaurant was clean and homey, the ambient music wasn't too loud or distracting, and the restroom was nice as well. Furthermore, they had a good list of Italian wines to choose from, which was a nice change from the heavier Bordeaux's we'd been tasting. Always a great option for nice Italian pasta or pizza in Bordeaux. Pasta is always yummy, great cocktails. Delicious desserts. Large wine cave to pick your wine from (no wine list). Walk-in only, no booking but rather easy to have a table, they serve rather late too.

The other reviews are correct... pasta, salads and pizza look good...... anything else , I would avoid. My beef was so tough....bad that it was not edible... no concern by staff. Tourist trap!

Quintessential Italian restaurant with great pizza and pasta dishes lovely wine and ever so friendly staff! We went on a Wednesday evening and walked straight in, grabbed a table and had a lovely experience with great pizza, fresh beer and great ambiance.

If you are looking for a place to have an incredible dinner, look no further. The food is incredibly delicious! The meal I ordered looked bet basic but the combination of arugula, grilled beef and spaghetti noodles were so flavorful. Each flavor complementing the other so well. Each person with me said their food was full of dominant flavors that left them speechless. The only suggestion for them would be to have at least one menu in English. We made it through with technology to translate the menu. The service was quick and friendly. Even though she didn't know very much English, she was very patient and did an incredible job helping us figure out what we wanted! Definitely in my top 20 of restaurants, worldwide!

We stopped in while touring Bordeaux on a Saturday and we were able to get a table and it was just so fantastic. We ordered 2 salads and they were beyond delicious. Our server asked me if I wanted to see the “Cave”, well she took me down into an amazing wine cellar. Beautifully designed space with bottles of wine artistically placed and decorated with saints and candle lit. What a lovely experience. If you eat here do go tour the Cave. The Italian food here is renowned by the locals and the portions are huge. You don’t want to miss this great restaurant.

Monzù served good Italian food with rich flavors and quality ingredients. The ambiance was nice and the menu had some great options. However, the service was a bit underwhelming—slow at times and not very attentive. Still, worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a solid Italian meal and don’t mind a relaxed pace.

One of the best pizzas I ever had, 10/10 would recommend. The overall aesthetic and vibe of the place made you feel right at home and the presentation of the dishes were spectacular! The tiramisu was also very delicious and staff was very friendly! The menu is in French so if you do not speak French you will need google translate for menu.

Pizza had a nice crust at the edges, but the center was very soggy. Both pizza we were served had soggy bottoms. Also the food came out at room temperature, not hot at all. Taste was ok. The restaurant has a trendy vibe and it is in a good location. The decor is attractive. The service was good as well. Just wish the food was better.

A big plus is the level of service, which is truly exceptional for France — more comparable to the five-star service you’d find on a luxury American cruise line. An absolute must-visit restaurant! As someone who has been living in Italy for years, my partner and I truly loved the vibe of the place!🫶🏼✨ Our reservation was at the time of the opening and we were greeted with a very enthusiastic “BUONASERA” from the staff. The restaurant from outside looks small and quaint but upon entering we were happily surprised by the interiors and the size of the whole place. The Italian vibe was very on point, we even misspoke some Italian words while ordering but the staff were very knowledgeable and understood what we said👏🏼 We ordered the steak, cheesecake, truffle pasta and pesto pasta and YES, I can confirm that the truffle pasta stands out ✨ È stata un’esperienza bellissima, grazie di cuore Palatino!

Among the most perfectly executed pastas we've had anywhere in the world. Unique atmosphere for an Italian restaurant in France with a 70s disco theme sprinkled in corners and pockets of the space (e.g. fluorescent lights in the stairwells and random statues of butts among busts of Caesars). Short menu but leaves nothing to be desired. Beyond the pasta, the pizza was also perfectly done. Even the plain buttered pasta for kids was perfect - such pride in every dish. Must get the truffle pasta from the cheese wheel for a memorable experience!

This place is soo kitsch and so we'll put together. Decor was amazing and fun and the food is seems to be cooked by the real nonna. Pizza "Rest in peach" was really nice and the dough was sooo good. The portion of the pasta dishes are pretty big and the Tigramisù ...well...still having wet thoughts about that one. 🤌

Beware! The food and service were very good. Unfortunately, shortly after we sat down in the Ferrari room in the up stairs, a rat scampered across my feet. I was not alone as the other two tables nearer the balcony felt the same thing. It’s too bad that they don’t employ better vermin control to ensure a cleaner experience.

I had a pizza there two days ago and it was one of the best pizzas I had in France! Really balanced on every level. The service was great, the owner is welcoming and the interior ambience is done with taste. Restaurant is small, but if you are keen on having a great pizza, you will not regret!

We were lucky to get a table for 2 on Saturday. We had not booked. Very hungry we ordered 2 different pizzas. Having been to Italy a few times this was so much better. The lady owner was so nice. Very welcoming cosy place to eat. A hidden gem in Bordeaux. Will visit again next time 😀

While the pizzas were good, the wine was warm as the weather outside. Despite the ice bucket I asked for, as it contained just a hand of ice cubes, the wine remained warm and I had to take it home and put it in the fridge.

Well... Diavola pizza is pretty solid! Drinks are okay priced and yummy. Atmosphere is okay. Service sucked, however. Our drinker were spilled all over us. Pizza was spilled all over the table next to us. At least the entire was comped. All in all, this dinner ruined about $200+ in clothes so it's hard to recommend.... But the pizza was good!

You walk into an oasis of calm. The wife-chef pair run a nice restaurant. The menu is “omakase”. The sole server gave us a wonderful wine recommendation and presented each dish with a thorough and careful explanation. She also graciously accepted an unusual request from our party to have a smaller wine glass. The plates/dish/cup/water pitcher/bowls are all themed ceramic pieces with the natural and white enamel glaze. They tie in seamlessly with the decor and walls of the restaurant. The lighting in the restaurant is thoughtful and contributes to a romantic mood. All tables except ours were for couples. We were told the menu is largely fish and appointed/accompanied by spring produce. We liked all the offerings but could forego the carbonara pasta dish. Each dish is beautifully designed and presented. Portion sizes could have been smaller given the many savory dishes provided.

Very nice food and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s run by a couple that give very attentive service. As it’s just the two of them sometimes they are busy with other tables and you have to wait a little but that is ok. Extensive wine list focusing mostly on Italian wine but with French and more adventurous wines from as far as Georgia. Very nice food but be prepared for a very fish focused menu and some very cleaver dishes

Lume was one of the best things we did while in Bordeaux! The food and service were incredible. The husband and wife team are so kind and knowledgeable. The chef prepared dishes that told a story, and they were beautifully presented and explained every time. The wine pairing was also fantastic. If you find yourself traveling to Bordeaux, make reservations here. You won't be disappointed!

Lume was an incredible dining experience. One of the best meals we had during a week in Bordeaux. Service and atmosphere are elegant yet simple, comfortable, present, and unobtrusive. The chef blends flavors which are bold yet perfectly executed. Presentation of dishes is fantastic. I assume this restaurant will have a star very soon and it absolutely deserves it. We will definitely return on our next trip to Bordeaux.

I almost didn’t leave a review because Lume is already well rated, but our experience was so superb I felt obligated. Alice and Riccardo work alone to manage the kitchen/front of house and served my fiancée and I one of the best meals of our lives. It’s made clear on the website that dishes are seafood-focused, which we love, but be aware. Thank you both!

What an amazing experience! Tucked away in small street is this charming restaurant. Cuisine, service and hospitality were all exceptional. As if the world class cuisine wasn’t impressive enough, the service by the Chef’s partner in the dining room told a story that made the visit all the more memorable. The wine list is sourced from mostly Italian, low intervention winemakers. I’d highly recommend the wine pairing option, as each selection really paired well with the food. This wonderful little restaurant is sure to impress even the most sophisticated palates. I highly recommend Lume and hope to return again someday.

We had a very nice lunch here as we fancied a break from the sud-ouest/French cuisine. Pizza was more Naples style tarty/slow rise dough. They had special pasta and salad dishes which looked incredible.

Went with 6 friends and had a good time! Very affordable, both food and wine. Services was okay a little slow for our liking. But the food came out good. The only thing was some of the meats were overly cooked! Other than that had a wonderful time.

Ok food, decent wine and a lively atmosphere. On a busy Friday I took a table of nine here for a carb loading dinner before the marathon du Médoc. The price was reasonable and the food portions looked big. We had nothing to complain about in terms of what we ate, it was just middle of the road pasta and pizzas. The service tho while we had an incredibly friendly waiter was seriously lacking. The food came out slow (over an hour after ordering) and the kitchen clearly couldn't manage. It's just OK if your in a fix

Awesome market with huge choice of fantastic food. Bustling and great way to spend an afternoon sipping wine and trying all of the choices. From steak and chips to oysters, tapas, pastas, salads and more!

We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised -- we went to the Paul Bocuse one in Lyon and thought it was a tourist trap. This one may still cater to tourists, but the food was good, the ambience was much better, and you can actually just get a few items in each place and try a little bit of everything in the shared seating areas. As for the food, we ordered steak from Bar A Viande, wine from Vinimarche, as well as chocolate mousse and vanilla flan from Tchu and everything was excellent. Would definitely recommend this food hall, and already planning on coming back tomorrow. Edit: We did come back 2 days after to L'etal Iberique, and were extremely disappointed. We each ordered 5 of the sliced bread with toppings on top (so 10 different ones), and they ranged from average to bad.. would not recommend this place, but still loved all the other establishments here.

Huge area for food and drink options. Not sure where all the customers come from presumably some unseen office blocks in the dock area. Lots of choice. I had a good sandwich albeit it wasn't warm despite it being "heated" for 5 minutes

Very nice pinchos loved them a lot. The arancini from the italian booth was ok (tookthe spinach mozza) Also a special mention to the latin american booth where I had amazing empanadas the axoa (wow) and the truffle ham. The alfajores was something very special which I highly recommend, I ordered the chocolate nutella one.

Just next to Cite du Vin, there are many food options with high-quality ingredients. They offer self-service, reasonable prices, and most of the staff is friendly. Good vibes .

If you’re craving pizza when in Bordeaux, go here! The pizza oven cooks the crust to perfection and the toppings are fabulous! I added some tomato sauce to my veggie pizza and it was great! Seating is comfortable, and the service is friendly & efficient.

We arrived today at 12noon as a group of 5. We made a reservation and asked to sit in the nicer sitting area in the back but the waitress said that it was not possible. After we sat down, she gave us the lunch menu which only included pizza and pasta. We were not provided the large black board with the specials like cacio e pepe and escalope veal with spaghetti. When I asked her about it, she abruptly told me that it was over by the other side where the other couple was sitting at the other side of the room. I ended up changing my pasta order from the menu to the escalope veal with spaghetti. After we finished our meal which was delicious, we wanted to get a side order of pasta for my friend's child and when we asked the waitress if we could order a side order of pasta, she said no but suggested that we order another escalope veal with spaghetti. Never in all my years of eating in Bordeaux, have I ever had a waitress suggest to me to order an entire plat just to have pasta. When I declined, she went to the kitchen and came back and rudely told us that the chef can make us a bowl of spaghetti for 10 euros. There was another older lady wearing green that was much nicer than the younger waitress. All in all, the food was good but the service could be better. We spoke entirely in french with the younger waitress so it wasn't a language barrier rather she was either overwhelmed or just didn't care for our business. Will not recommend this restaurant to any of my Bordelais friends.

Severely understaffed. We were seated for 32 minutes and nobody came by to take our drink order or food order, nor even acknowledged our existence after we were seated. Please don’t seat more guests if you cannot accommodate them.

Hadn't booked so ended up on a table by the door. Not the restaurant's fault but the occasional blast of cold air was "invigorating". Good service . The food is excellent. Arancini with three cheeses followed by pizza Diavola. A couple beers. Enjoyed it and would go again.

Tripletta located at Saint Michaels Square, Bordeaux. It is an Italian style location restaurant with a minimal menu. You can find it online. We had the lasagna and the pizza. Margarita; it was cool. This time queue was long, it took ages to process some orders, same for the drinks, as busy trying to sort ingredients for cocktails so we had to wait awhile for out wine. Our Pizza was finally ready and yes quality is good. Think the place needs to have a good look at its offering and process when ordering.
