I hung out here while waiting for the parking lot at Midland to clear out for the evening. The trail to the west offered up some very nice scenery. As it was a very hot afternoon, I did not traverse very far on this one, but did manage to take some spectacular photographs. We rode to the Atlas Coal Mine, the Hoodoos, and the fascinating Royal Tyrrell Museum. Renting bikes is definitely worth it if you want to explore the area in a fun and active way. There are also some great restaurants within walking distance, which was a nice bonus. All in all, we had a fantastic time. Thank you for the warm hospitality — we’ll definitely be back!
