ウィンザー城は、ウィンザーの王立区に位置し、世界で最も古く、最も大きな居住城です。ほぼ千年にわたり、イギリスの君主の家族の家として機能しており、現在は女王陛下の公式な住居です。城内には壮大なアート、アンティーク、そして礼拝堂があります。
ヒースロー空港までバス一本で安く行けるため、イギリス旅行の最終日におすすめです。ウィンザー城は1000年以上の歴史がある城で、当初は要塞として機能していましたが、その後は王室関係者の邸宅として機能しています。
ステートアパートメントはヴェルサイユ宮殿を意識して作られており豪華絢爛！火災後、5年で修復されたというのもすごい！ワーテルローの間などは現役の部屋です。メアリーのドールハウスも、職人技術の凄さが際立つ！衛兵交代式も、結構近くで見られました♪ロングウォークも、一目だけでも見に行くと良いと思います。
とってもおすすめのスポットです！

まるで時間が止まったかのような場所でした。壮麗なウィンザー城の姿に圧倒され、聖ジョージ礼拝堂では思わず息を呑む静けさに包まれました。歴史の重みと美しさが共存する、心に残る特別な場所です。晴れの日も曇りの日も、それぞれに違った表情を見せてくれるのも魅力。ぜひ一度訪れてみてください。
日本で事前にチケットプリントアウトして持って行きました。確か14:30頃の予約でした。
思ってた以上に広大で見どころがたくさんありこれから行く方は動線確認して回られると良いですよ。2時間だと結構ギリギリです。閉館が迫ってきたのでスタッフに人形の館の場所をお伺いすると連れて行ってくださいました。エリザベス女王の埋葬場所で手を合わせました。出口には近衛兵💂が立っていて皆んな写真を撮っていました。
チケットを購入する行列が、個人では、大変のようですが、ツアーだと、旅行会社が、全て事前にしてくださるので、大変助かります。見るところが沢山ありすぎて、1時間では、足りませんが、イギリスのガーデニングを、間近に見ることもでき、イギリスに来たら、必ず訪れたい場所です。
ロンドン発のバスツアーで訪れました。１日で4ヶ所回るツアーだったので自由時間が1時間しかなく、かなり広い上に見所が沢山あり、1時間ではとてもムリ。
ヘンリー&メーガンが挙式した教会、豪華なステイトアパートメント(現役)、当時のイギリスの技術の集大成のドールハウス、ポッタリーのコレクション…
エリザベス女王が愛したお城、本当に素晴らしくて、次はここだけに1日使って訪れたいです。

中が、写真撮影禁止なのが勿体無いくらい美しかった。メッテルニヒやアレクサンドル1世などの肖像画があって歴史好きとしてはテンションがあがった。
イギリス王室の偉大さがわかる素晴らしい、しかも現役のお城。
平日夕方の15:00頃入場。手荷物検査などあり。通常順路はお城側からだが、16:00にはチャペルが閉まるとのことで先に行くよう案内あり。アートではない質実剛健とした飾り付けが逆にホンモノ感あって荘厳な雰囲気。
お城もどこもここも見どころだらけ。
閉館の17:00までの2時間では見きれなかったというのが本音。

アトラクションはほぼ並ばずに乗れました。平日だからみたいですね。レビューには70分待ち等と書いてありましたが、私達はどのアトラクションも5分も待ちませんでした。

初めてレゴランドに行きました。
£29のアプリ上で並んで時間になったら直ぐにアトラクションに乗れるチケットを購入したので５歳の子供も飽きずに１日回る事が出来ました。ただ開園と同時に入り、人気のアトラクションに先に乗れば他のアトラクションの待ち時間は私が行った日で15-40分程度でしたので必ずしも優先チケットが必要というわけではない気がします、
どれもこれも可愛く歩いてるだけで飽きません。階段の隣が滑り台になったりしていて子供は大人以上に楽しめる場所な気がします。
思ったよりも楽しめるアトラクション。それなりのクオリティです。また、行列を短縮する仕組みも合理的。平日でもそこそこ混んでましたが比較的快適に乗られました。
一方、いくつものアトラクションが何度も止まったり不安定な運行。また、スタッフの動きも個人差が大きく、ディズニーの質に慣れているとかなりガックリします。小さい子がいるなら行っても良いかな程度。
レビューに出てくる食事は怖くて未体験。レストランは昼時間も空いてたので食事持ち込みで避ける人が多いようです。
子供は充分に楽しめます。行列は長くはありませんでした。当日券は高いので事前予約は必須です。マーリンの年パスもおすすめです。
2回目の訪問ですが、まだ乗り切れないほどアトラクション多いです。また、110cm必要なアトラクションも少なく、家族連れに最高ですが、スリルあるアトラクションや4Dシアターの種類も豊富で、誰にでもおすすめです。Merlinの年間パスがお得だと思います。ファストパスは、お金を払えば購入できますが、人気アトラクションでも日本のディズニーのような混み方ではありません。公共交通機関の場合は、駅からウーバーかバスになりますが、バスの本数が多くないことには注意です。また、たまにおそろしく濡れるアトラクションがあります。横に、3ポンドで体が乾かせる部屋のような機械がありますが、特に冬は要注意と思います。ポンチョがあった方が良いかもです。いろいろ差し引いても、楽しいです。レゴ好きでなくても関係ありません。
3月末に2泊。妻と小学生1年と4年の子供と宿泊。
決して新しくはないが、LEGO好きの我が子は大興奮。
朝食はバイキング。味はまずまず。朝食会場の前に無料のゲームコーナーがあり、子供は嬉しかったようだ。すぐ横にバーがあるので、大人にも嬉しい。
宿泊するとレゴランドの入館が一般客より早くできるのも利点。人気のニンジャゴーアトラクションに一番乗りで入れ、時間を有効に使えた。
部屋はアドベンチャールーム。二段ベッドからテレビが見れる。部屋に少量だかレゴもあり、暇せずにあそんでいた。
室内プールもあり、予約して使える。ここはやや小さい子向け。
総じて子供達には至れり尽くせりのホテルだった。

I recently had the pleasure of seeing the Michael Jackson tribute starring Ben at the Theatre Royal Windsor, and it was amazing. From start to finish, the energy was electric and the performance thoroughly entertaining.
🎤 Ben truly captured the essence of Michael Jackson – his voice, moves, and charisma were spot on bringing every song to life. The costumes were stunning and added that extra sparkle to the whole experience.
💡 The stage lights are extremely bright, so if you're sensitive to lighting, you might want to bring sunglasses or sit a bit further back.
🪑 Seating-wise, the chairs are quite snug. If you're on the larger side, I’d recommend booking an “end” seat for a bit more comfort with leg room. That said, the view was really good.
🏰 The location couldn’t be better – right opposite Windsor Castle and surrounded by lovely restaurants, making it perfect for a pre-show dinner or post-show drinks. Parking and the train station is conveniently just around the corner, which made the whole evening stress-free.
👋 The staff could of perhaps provided a more friendly and welcoming experience to the venue.
If you're a fan of MJ or just love a good night out, this tribute show is a must-see. Whilst he doesn’t look like MJ if I closed my eyes he did an amazing job at sounding like him 🎶

Good tap room. The venue was hosting a live music event so the inside was packed, we sat out the front which was where I wanted to sit anyway.
The brewery is clean and respectful.
The beers were great and the selection was extensive. Avoid the food though, for a £14 burger the beef patty was terrible. Very thin and cheap tasting. I wish I had read review before ordering. It lost a star there

The best thing about this place is the architecture. I had been years ago for a cream tea but found it had been transformed into yet another run of the mill cut and paste café that are ten a penny these days (and there are loads in Windsor).

This little museum is situated in a very beautiful building. It has a stocks outside that is a photo opportunity to those cheeky ones! The guard 💂outside had the proper attire on to the tea, he was very friendly and always seemed cheerful whilst he was dealing with other visitors. which made him very professional indeed. If you ask them nicely you might be allowed a picture with them. We did 😁!
Inside the museum itself it has 2 floors. The first is very informative about other aspects of Windsor that you wouldn’t of thought of, and then upstairs in more about the royal family.
There is toilets inside and there is also a stair lift attached to one side of the stairs, which I thought was quite considerate to visitors that might benefit from it. Try not to miss the portraits along the ceilings near the stair area though.
Kids crafts was on at the time we visited but we didn’t go to this, we looked at the museum itself instead. There was 2 lady staff upstairs that were very polite and informative when questions were asked.
Free admission, recommend going to visit!

He did some colouring, played with castle toy, played with Duplo and jigsaw of crest, space chase fact hunt, dressed up as along, I liked headsets we were given to use, and we did tour of guildhall. We had an organised group trip to Frogmore House and gardens. Arrival into the grounds was fast, met by our guides at the house We were a group of about 30, so split into three groups. We came here on the day the National Garden Scheme (NGS) hosted a day at Frogmore Gardens when all the ticket income goes to charity. We found this by mistake walking around Windsor and was so lucky we decided to eat here. A reasonably priced menu with many dishes. We decided on the Flatbread and Shak Shouka Tagine. Amazing and I tried a Moroccan red wine with it. The owner was excellent at looking after us and we enjoyed tea after this meal. Please eat here if you are in Windsor.

We had lunch at Meimo while on a tour of Windsor and Stonehenge, after our tour guide Robert recommended it! Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the owner is absolutely lovely - very welcoming and a fantastic host! We had the Meimo grill with three small plates, followed by Baklawa and the orange salad for dessert, all in the photos. We loved every dish, and especially the Pastilla, which we'd never had before, and was extremely unique and delicious, an amazing mix of chicken, filo pastry, roast almonds and orange blossom. Absolutely a must enjoy!

The museum is not big but full of exhibits. The display is well organised. Contents have covered different biology knowledge and explorers’ adventure. It is a great place for kids and adults to learn!
Sadly it is only open on Sunday afternoon but if you are going to Windsor Castle on Sunday (like I do), you can come before joining the service in St. George Chapel which is not open for visit on Sundays.

Unluckily if it's very sunny, warm there's only one tree in the playground, so there's no shade. There's a big green area here as well where if the weather is good people have picnic here as well.

Beautiful pub with a fantastic menu. Highly recommend booking a table especially if the sun is out and you’re wanting to sit riverside. We walked in and luckily got a table under the covered outdoor seating area. The roof is adjustable and when the staff could see I was began to sweat with the heat they adjusted the roof for more shade for me which was so wonderful. Started with drinks and decided to stay for lunch. Food was really lovely. The fish cake was delicious, great portion with a beautifully dressed salad. I was worried it wouldn’t be very filling but it was. My fiancé had the fish and chips. Not the best fish and chips we’ve ever had but still great nonetheless. We would have preferred mushy peas over regular peas. Definitely add this spot to your list if you’re in Windsor. We had a wonderful afternoon here.

Tables were decorated without having to request it. Multiple guests who had never been said how it was the best Indian food they've had and will be back separately. We ordered two portions of momos, cooked in two different ways, they had flavour but the quantity was low (4 pieces) and therefore not value for money.
We also had the butter chicken, garlic and coriander naan and chicken fried rice, all of the dishes were delicious and had decent quantity for their prices.

The Windsor/Eaton station itself couldnt be in a more picturesque location you can see the tops of the castle as soon as you get out of the station and the flag was up so the queen was home. What a wonderful 3 hour cruise we had with skipper, Ingram and his wife, Carrie, for our son’s 40th birthday celebration which fell on the same day as King Charles’s Coronation! Despite the rain, our group of 7 adults and 4 grandchildren, aged 1-4 yrs old, had a great time viewing Windsor Castle, passing through locks and journeying along the river, whilst in the comfort of the fully equipped yacht with its many seating areas.
