I recently visited Reynolds Cafe with my 7-year-old, hoping for a pleasant lunch. While the rustic, old-fashioned decor is truly warm and inviting, creating a lovely ambiance, our overall experience was severely hampered by service issues and a significant lack of family-friendliness. First, the "patronage" (customer vibe) felt quite unwelcoming, which was a surprising contrast to the decor. More importantly, they do not offer a kids' menu. I requested a grilled cheese and fries for my child, which, while off-menu and enjoyed by my son, cost an astounding $11.
