Ravi has a fantastic property, the rooms have everything you need and are really comfortable. There are so many other areas in the property to relax, the rooftop in particular is a great place to unwind. The location is superb, close to the station and very close to the beach and White Town. What makes this place stand out though is the hospitality of both the owner Ravi and Sam who manages it. You always feel like you are in your own home and they can never do enough for you. Sam is an absolute star and a credit to the homestay. He had lots of information and tips, arranged yoga on the rooftop a couple of mornings for us (highly recommended with a great teacher) and made sure I could enjoy the South Indian breakfast by swapping some dishes out which had nuts in (as I have an allergy). We booked last minute and wanted somewhere with a nice pool. I far preferred this to a hotel. The staff was so sweet. Ramji is the building caretaker. He was so kind and helpful. Everyone was so polite and they have the cutest dogs Jazzy and Cassie who are so chill and sweet. It was such a peaceful and relaxed stay. The pool was great. So relaxing and they keep it so each party can book for one time so you get the whole pool to yourself for an hour. The only thing was it was a bit far from the tourist areas. But that's what made it nice. I think if you rent a bicycle or a moped then it's the perfect place to stay to get around and come back to a relaxed environment. The type of people who come to stay also are easy going and looking for a long quiet stay. So they make for lovely company. Mukesh and his team were perfect hosts. We were a group of 4 staying in three spacious rooms which were all impeccable clean and well maintained, equipped and looked after. Mattress was very good and firm as well. Breakfast offering a large variety of fruits, Indian style, homemade jam, honey, breads, coffee, chai, tea,...and eggs to cooked as per order. The hotel is very centrally located, yet set in lush gardens with a pool and very secure. We also did like the furniture and photographs, most of it unique antique items telling a story. The management had started some sustainability initiatives reducing plastic, using large packages, less packaging, separating garbage, etc. - doing more of this will certainly attract more sustainable travellers. It was a really quick and smoothest check-in process. The room was just perfect. Got everything that was mentioned. Two massage chairs where couples can get massage together sitting side by side. The room was very arranged and fitted with all amenities. The home theatre speakers lightens up the party mood. The bed and lighting in the room was so sexy that every room photo we clicked looked like a studio photoshoot. Along with all these amenities they provide first aid kit in the room which is rare to seen in normal hotels. I hope no one has to use that but still it was something which is provided extra. They even provided complimentary snacks packets and cold drinks in fridge. The pakodas in evening snacks was tasty. It's near all important tourist places. Highlight of the place is jacuzzi where you can relax and also the big screen home theatre projector. Place is very clean and thoughtfully designed by owner. We had minor issues during the stay like electricity went for 3 hours on first day. Back up given is for fans only and you can't charge your mobile phone. Secondly caretaker left the property on third day of our stay so there was no one to clean the property. As per owner this is one off contingency . Also take care of all stuff properly. Lady highlighted to me small marks of bedsheet during stay . This was cleaned same time and were diffused ones. Early check even though property was not occupied was not given and extra charge was asked for. After request one hour prior check in was allowed but we checked in at check in time. Outside locality is not good and construction work going on which disturbs multiple times.
