Really lovely staff, the person who checked us in was really friendly and other staff who were doing tasks around the hostel were really nice too. The shower room seemed new, was very very clean and had nice white marble walls. The bathroom was also clean and pleasant. The kitchen was well equipped and nicely decorated, with perfect view out over the river. Lots of seating areas. The dry room is highly efficient and has plenty of space for everyone's stuff. Obviously it is a youth hostel rather than a hotel, so not everything was perfect. I found the mattress wonky because of the imprint of previous people. The pillow was also uncomfortable to sleep on. The bottom sheet was too small for the mattress so would come off and was quite annoying. That being said, it was much better than other YHA I have stayed at so I would stay here again.
