I had a breakfast here twice: outdoors and indoors. Outdoors seating is cozy. The place gets busy but the line moves relatively fast. I recommend you to try avocado toast and pavlova - it was great experience! The eggs benedict, however, had a bit too much vinegar. You can find filter coffee and matcha here.

Mostly great experience. We visited two consecutive days on our trip to Montpellier recently. Majority staff were lovely and welcoming except for one particular male server who thought it necessary to comment on what we were ordering (apparently not enough to be considered “brunch”). I have seen similar previous comments in reviews so perhaps it is the only negative for the place. I understand you have a quick turnover but your customers are there to enjoy your food and order what they want. Your menu doesn’t state a minimum spend so I would recommend you keep your comments to yourself. He seemed to have problems with native english speakers but was enthusiastic with French customers 🤷‍♀️.It wasn’t enough to put us off going again the next morning however as the food is great.

I absolutely loved this place. The quality and service was great. My sister and I only had 30 minutes for breakfast before our train arrived; the server made sure the food was out quick and we were able to leave on time which was really nice of them! I got an iced matcha and my sister got an iced chai, both of which were amazing. Their toasts and sandwiches were delicious too!

Our best Oat Milk Cappuccino we had all Holiday, in the South of France. The service was great, and the little touch of their own coffee cup was great. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

The food is good and cheap, i advise you to try their potato tapas, it's really nice. The wine is also good. They have a TV if you want to watch football matches (we went there during the world cup and got a seat in front of the TV without prior reservation). This place is one of the true gems of Montpellier! We have wandered past it many times and have always ogled the magnificently presented dishes on the patron's tables. We decided it was finally time to see what all the smiling faces and packed seats were about. We were not disappointed! The fantastic service is surpassed only by the amazing presentation of each meal which is surpassed only by the heavenly flavor of each bite! If you're a couple and only "sort of hungry", split a salad and you'll walk away completely satiated. If you're a couple who is starving order two and you'll waddle away smiling and ready for a food coma! Although I can't yet speak to the taste of everything on their menu, I can tell you the "Tulip" salad with it's farm fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked chicken and subtle pesto undertones is one that needs to be near the top of your list! I will certainly be back. Bon appetit!

Very much overhyped in the reviews. The Caesar Salad looks like something from McDonald's with a lot of excess sauce on it as well as breaded chicken that's completely unpleasant in what should be a light dish. I'd asked for the burger but was told that it was out, only to then see two guys who sat down 20 minutes after me get the burger. I felt like because of my foreign accent in French I was being upsold as I ended up ordering then having to order the entrecôte which was 50% more expensive. It was also overcooked despite requesting 'à point' and despite saying it was '300 grams', it looked considerably smaller. Needless to say, a lacking experience that I will in no way repeat as I felt hustled and ate mediocre dishes that were by no means cheap.

La coquille is a homely restaurant terrace right next to us in the old city center of Montpellier.. It’s very calm, recommended if you fancy a discussion over a glass of wine or a beer. The food is good although the salad was very expensive (18 eur) for what it was but on the other side the burger was delicious and the waitress was extremely nice… Give it a shot if you’re around.

I wanted to have dinner at this place a couple of weeks ago but since I was alone and had to go to the bathroom, I wanted to do that first thing. An older lady that seemed to be the owner apparently thought I only wanted to use the restroom so she was running after me, almost yelling at me „You need to order, what do you want to order“ before AND after I used the restroom, while I was looking for a table. It seemed so rude and unwelcoming that I decided to only have a drink there and have dinner somewhere else. The younger staff was nice, the drink was overpriced. Cannot recommend this place.

Delighted to call in again at La Coquille for croissants and coffees yesterday morning. Perhaps the very best croissants in Montpellier are served here. The ambience, the atmosphere under the trees, can't be beaten!

I really like this bakery, for multiple reasons. It's easily accessible, with a parking lot and right next to a crosswalk if you live across the street. There is a seating area if you don't want to take your pastries/sandwiches to go, and you can order a drink too. Their prices are very reasonable for what they offer. It's very spacious too, not cramped and stuffy. And lastly, their products are delicious. The baguettes are wonderfully crunchy on the outside and like clouds on the inside. They also offee some lovely dark loaves if you want a more filling bread. They also have different, small quiches and tartines that are incredibly tasty, whether cold or warm. But I have to say, their pastries are the best. My absolute favorite is the raspberry-litchee macaron; just divine! You can also try their various éclairs (coffee all the way!) or even a simple croissant. Everything is good.

I booked here for two nights. In general the place is neat with white sheets and a tidy bathroom, white towels and free hand soap/gel to use. But I asked for the room to be cleaned by hanging up one of those signs you hook on the door. Someone just turned it around to do not disturb and the room was not cleaned at all. On arrival the toilet had pee marks on it, so it seems the rooms just gets a surface clean. The stay is fine for one night I suppose but for a longer stay I think the lack of service will annoy some people. Also the receptionist doesn't speak English so any complaints fall on deaf ears.

We cannot speak highly enough of the lovely friendly staff( in particular Emily who we hope has had her baby safely and Prima) the coffee, the loo dedicated to the Belgians ,the friendly Portuguese water dog and owner and general atmosphere. We hope to return next year if we can.
