The 42 best breakfast and brunch in Venice

Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Prices just right. Needs a bit of an update- we sat by the bathroom and could’ve had a better experience elsewhere. We got regular bacon but a bit more crisp then we prefer, will get soft bacon next time. Cute little flower cart outside- made our mommy and me date so nice!

We picked this restaurant based on the glowing reviews, but if they’ve won awards, they must’ve been from a decade ago because what we got was straight-up disappointing. The food came out cold. We ordered the gluten-free bananas foster French toast, but the toast was stone-cold, topped with bananas, and missing the “foster” part entirely. No syrup, unless you count the extra charge we had to pay for maple syrup just to make it edible. I ordered the crabcake with asparagus over hashbrowns, and the hashbrowns were also cold. As for the “crabcakes,” you’d be lucky to find two teaspoons of crab in there — mostly filler and a sad excuse for what should’ve been the star of the dish. To make it worse, the hollandaise sauce tasted like absolutely nothing. We had to doctor it ourselves with salt and lemon just to get some kind of flavor so we could choke it down. Drinks were fine, but overall, the food wasn’t worth the money or the hype. Severely disappointed.

All I can say is WOW! This restaurant exceeded our expectations! We arrived and were seated right away. Brooke took our order and had drinks on the table almost immediately. She was even attentive to our dog and brought him a bowl of ice water (his favorite). The kitchen was just as fast as it felt as though our food was out in a matter of minutes. In addition to Brooke’s amazing service, the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Such a cute place and the food was amazing. Got the Philly cheesesteak , and the jumbo lumb crab cake Benedict. The cheesesteak was the most amazing one I’ve ever had yet , the only thing I can complain about is I wish the Benedict had more crab.

Today, August 12, 2025, my wife and I dined at Blue Island Cafe, Venice. We were greeted by Ann Marie with a warm and welcoming smile. Ann Marie was our host for brunch, and we could not be more pleased. Her infectious smile, delightful personality, and the pleasant exuberant way she tended to us was so refreshing. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasing, and the restaurant was very clean. My wife noted that Clorox wipes were used to clean the tables after each guest. This is definitely our new go to restaurant in Venice. Thanks Ann Marie for a great experience today.

Small, quaint, homey, yet comfortably small bistro at the Island Sun Inn & Suites. Nice, quiet, serene location on Venice Island. Many locals for breakfast and lunch, but no dinner menu.

I had Western Omelet, great, Toast, just fine and Seasoned Potatoes, awful. Described as crispy, these were just warmed and just barely browned. Not calorie worthy. Food service was so fast, could’ve used the griddle a little more. Waitress was excellent.

This was our first time here. It was incredibly hot and for some reason we were subjected to loud Jamaican rap the entire time we were there. It’s a tiny place, so there’s no way to escape it. The food was very good. And my son loved his well decorated pancake. The food is the part that matters most. It was good. But, the prices were different on our bill than they were on the menu. Our waitress said that’s because her boss was in the process of changing the prices on the menus. And check out our receipt in the last photo. What the hell? The entire experience was OK, but my wife says we will not be returning.

Just had the most AMAZING lunch at the Suncoast Cafe at the Venice airport. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and he said it was the BEST outside of Tampa/Ybor City (which come to find out is from La Segunda located in Ybor City) he has tasted. He grew up in Tampa and ate them often so he knows his way around a Cuban. This restaurant is a hidden gem located within the Venice airport. We’ve lived here for 3 years and only recently discovered it. The service is also amazing. The servers are kind, accommodating, and very friendly! Serving breakfast and lunch, the food is fantastic. Servers Brooke, Krissy and Jess are the best. The food is fresh, fabulous, and so worth a visit.

8-8-25. I came across this hidden gem on my morning walk. I remember now, seeing for years a person holding a sign on the Circus Bridge promoting this restaurant. I sat at the counter on one of the 7 or so bar stools. They also have 8 or so tables. Brooke was my fine waitress. She recommended the Reuben Sandwich or Cuban Sandwich. I chose the fabulous Reuben plus onion rings. Tony the owner/chef was present cooking + chatting. I felt at home in this small restaurant where you can look out onto the airport. I highly recommend supporting this local business

Delicious cheese omelet with very fresh and tasty mushrooms! Very friendly service and views on the small planes just fantastic! All in all highly recommend paying a visit!

My wife has been coming here for years with her mom many years ago and recently with friends. This was my first visit. They were NOT part of my 31 breakfast restaurants roundup I did between 2021 and 2023 because they do not seem to mention or do Eggs Benedict. They do have a poached egg item on the menu. (spoiler alert: they would have been 32nd) NOT part of the rating, but as a comment. Even in shorts near the windows where we were it had to be mid to upper 80s F. Service was spectacular and all the servers seems gregarious and friendly and a real asset to the place. They kept mentioning the chef and he and the other cooks were out and about bringing entree and checking on a few folks. It seemed a lot of locals and regulars in the off season. (we live in Venice as well year round) My wife ordered what she had before which was the St. Lucian Breakfast Quesadilla Scrambled eggs, cheese, sautéed peppers, tomato, onions and roasted pork inside a grilled tortilla with salsa and sour cream. she got the plantains as well. The quesadillas were pretty wet and she noted little overly cooked compared to the last times she was there. Maybe the packed house and the quantity of patrons had things a little chaotic in the kitchen? The plantains were very oily and wet as well. 6/10 My daughter went with the Biplane. Two eggs and two pancakes with your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. w/chocolate chips for $1 extra. She ordered the eggs over easy.... and they came properly cooked1 from a yoke perspective. Not low and slow, but FAST fried. The whites were a little crunchy around the edges and on the surface. 4/10 Her pancakes were a little 'powdery' grainy as if maybe not well mixed or maybe not mixed correctly? not horrible. 6/10 She is a sausage fan but likes to see what is coming out before she orders the patties or the links as this items varies significantly from restaurant to restaurant. So she went with the bacon. there were about 3.5 strips. Absolutely annihilated & over cooked - almost bacon dust. and yet the entire plate had about 4 tablespoons of bacon grease flowing around and the bacon was glistening. HAD to be a fast nuke job on a plate. My daughter was paper towel blotting the oil/grease butter off the eggs and bacon plate as I was taking the pictures 0/10 inedible... her side order of toast had been pre-melted with a patty of butter on each piece and wet and soggy. not touched. 0/10 I got (the birthday boy? (smile)) the Flight Attendant's Omelet which is Fresh mushrooms, onions, tomato, green peppers, and spinach traditionally served with refried beans and salsa. I also asked for NO CHEESE on my omelet? I opted for an English muffin for my bread. Like my daughter's eggs and my wife's quesadilla, my omelet was one could almost imagine "seared" cooked on a hot plate or griddle. Honestly when I first smelled and ate it, the omelet smelled "fishy" or as if it was cooked in the same plate or griddle as the crab cakes I saw on the menu???? the butter or oil at a very high heat? If you dig up the picture here the omelet is dark brown and yet the inside was very wet and just warm? the spinach and veggies possibly stewed and cooked and just added in there but not hot. the egg was not enjoyable and actually dry. Just a very rushed and too quickly cooked egg dish? 4/10 The refried beans were also dry as either a little old or possibly refried - refried beans and just reheated again in the microwave or something. 4/10 The coup de grâce for my meal was the "English muffin" ? Like my daughters toast, it was buttered all over and inside? and it was COLD!!! 0/10 This was not a good visit, I am sad to report.

Our first visit and was so reminiscent of bakeries in Europe that we visited, from Sweden to Switzerland. I had the salmon and spinach quiche it was delicious and a very generous portion for $10, also included was a small European portion of of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, grape, apples and strawberries. It was a wonderful combination. My wife had the standard ham and cheese quiche, and she's a fanatic about a good quiche, she loved it. It was so large we only finished half of it. The pastries we got almond croissant, chocolate twist and cranberry croissant. Looking forward to enjoying them. They were running about $5 each, but appear to be worth every penny of it, the look the smell it actually made my mouth start watering. The interior is done in a very cute pastel Pink, yellows, blues, with various European prints decorating the walls. The bathrooms were clean and stocked well. The staff was extremely courteous, as my wife and I we're both overwhelmed with the memories that this place brought back when we were in Europe. We ate in the bakery and it was a very relaxing everyone was so quiet enjoying their bakery goods. It may not be a place you go everyday but it's worth trying out highly recommend it. Most yummy croissant 💗 Finally, an authentic French bakery. This is a must for anybody who has a culinary palate and appreciates good French baked goods. The ambience is jovial and quite busy. Yumminess.

Whether it's the amazing le deli sandwich (turkey and I love the cherry tomatoes) I had for lunch, the apple croissant I grabbed for breakfast one day or the delightful desserts (strawberry and peach mousse, chocolate croissant, fruit tart) I brought to share with my hosts, it's all amazing. The service is quick and kind and the price is right. I love stopping by every time I visit!

Very nice bakery with many sweet and savory items. The atmosphere was clean and attractive, with plenty of seating. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Just a few minutes from historic Venice downtown, it's well worth the quick drive.

The croissants were everything they are supposed to be: Delicate, tender and delicious! The French Brie and Almond Croissants were as good as anything I’ve had in Europe! Also, great service that knew how to handle sudden rushes of customers.

While the service was okay, the food and coffee were less than mediocre. There are no sugar free syrup options which I understand is a personal preference on my end, but almost anywhere you go there are sugar free options now. The food was served on a paper plate with plastic utensils which made it feel cheap. They were also originally unable to give my husband 4 shots of espresso in his iced americano, which was also odd, but tried to accommodate and came out and gave him two glasses to drink out of, with no room to pour oatmilk in. The raspberry croissant was average. It lacked flavor in the pastry itself and with the raspberry cream cheese middle. As this was our first time here, we were less than impressed and probably will not return.

Yum! This place is amazing. The raspberry scone and cream were so good, highly recommend any of their scones! The avocado toast was also great. I have zero complaints about the food, looks like everything on their menu is good. The waitresses were very helpful and quick.

The place was clean, organized, and quite busy on Sunday morning. A restaurant you can't miss if you want a freshly brewed coffee and a delicious pastry.

Amazing scones. Honestly, the best there is. And with that Devonshire cream... you'll be in heaven. They don't skimp on the fruit filling, and you will never experience a dry bite. They are moist and delicious. Honestly, I mean to try other items, but I just can't resist those scones!

Absolutely the most disgraceful attitude from the gentleman at the counter, the morning of September 20, 2025. Regardless of good coffee and pastries, I'll take my business to a more cordial establishment. For the many reviews posted, this is the first time I ever felt the need to mention the lack of customer service received from a member of the service staff.

The best breakfast place ever! The food is always fast and consistent, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. My family and I try to go a few times a weekend, and we are never disappointed!

So, we're new to Florida, we're transplants from Utah, and we wanted to try a new place in Venice. Google recommend this restaurant for a breakfast bite. It was great! The food was good, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, the ambiance of the establishment was on the rustic, antique site. Also very clean. I really enjoyed my Smoked Salmon Hash here, the taste was new to me but very enjoyable! My two sausages that I ordered on the side we're quite larger than I expected, but still very high quality. Everything tasted fresh and nothing was overly greasy. Being in my early 40s we were the youngest people there, so be prepared to feel a our of place if you're younger than 40. My wife and I also enjoyed a very large eclair there, after breakfast, and it was good. After tasting of the awesome food there, I was expecting a little more flavors from the eclair, but definitely wasn't bad. My only real gripe was the serving sizes of the meals. They are a little on the small side for me. But I'm also 6'3 and weigh about 240lbs, so take that as you like. Also my second complaint, which is a small one, is that the entrance/waiting area is VERY narrow as it's only about 3-4 ft from the bakery display. So, if your waiting in line for a seat, and there's people waiting to be attended by the baker next to the display, you're practically touching shoulders with those people looking I to the display. But, that's all small potatoes (pun intended) compares to the taste and service experience.

Love the Upper Crust, it’s our go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Staff is always friendly, inviting and accommodating. Not sure what the recent commenter T slush is talking about! All of the staff is always accommodating as long as rules are followed.

We were told about this restaurant by our neighbor and so happy we experienced it. Family of 3 we went for lunch. The portions were more than enough, the food was fresh and delicious and the service was impeccable. The prices were also very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast! I got the pumpkin spiced brewed coffee (no syrup, which I love), and it was smooth and flavorful. My omelet with sausage, jalapeños, avocado, their fresh home fries, rye toast, and a blueberry muffin was perfect — fresh (everything made in house), hearty, and well-seasoned. The place was clean, busy, and had a great energy. The waitress in the 2-seat section by the small wall as you walk in was incredibly kind — if the owner sees this, she deserves her props. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious breakfast done right.

When on Venice you won't go wrong with breakfast or lunch here. Terry, our server, was friendly professional and timely. Great atmosphere as evidenced by how busy it was on a late Monday am for breakfast. All the help was in good spirits. Food was great, coffee fresh, bacon thick wide and cooked to perfection, eggs on point, and homemade muffins and mimosas if you choose. Stop in. You will not be disappointed. 🙂

If you are looking for the best breakfast in Venice, then look no further than! The food here is is fantastic. The only problem is that it is difficult to choose from their extensive menu. I am trying to work my way through the entire menu, but each time I end up longing for their blueberry pancakes. Although they have a breakfast burrito that is pretty close to what I used to get when I was in Mexico! Terrifically close! Almost exact! They have both indoor and outdoor dining so in those great Venice mornings eating outside is a treat. Service is terrific and the prices are more than reasonable for the fine quality of the food. Come hungry because the proportions cover the entire plate!

Friendly, welcoming restaurant, great service, nice touch of tables with umbrellas outside. I would not order the hamburger or the BLT again. I think you'd be better off buying one of their breakfast offerings. Burger was not appealing, the BLT had Texas toast type bread for the sandwich you'd have to be a a dinosaur to eat this sandwich both offerings came with a heap of broken potato chips. Their butter milk biscuits and cinnamon rolls looked great in the display case.

We were told by a local (Kara) that Burgundy was the ‘IT Place’ for local lobster and seafood… she was right! Plenty of seating both inside and outside in a covered foyer. Also has a simple bar with comfortable stools. NOTE: Wednesdays are unique and special for their many lobster dishes… all priced under $22 (as of date of this posting) Generational business w/ fond remembrance of the deceased Owner. Truly moving tribute mural is on the restaurant wall. Def recommend for wonderful food, selection, and unique experience!

First time there and definitely not last!!! The lobster roll is fabulous as is the clam chowder. Sadly I don't remember our server's name but she was a sweetheart..

Nice casual restaurant. Food was ok. Service was good. I had the salmon dinner. I would have liked to have steamed rice and broccoli with it but you only get 1 side. The rice had corn in it. ? Caesar salad had shaved Parmesan which I really like. Had a warm lobster roll and French fries which was good. Got a tossed salad which we liked. Restaurant was quiet. We ate at 7 pm. They close at 8 pm.

It’s is the # 1 Lobster Roll for sure!!! Excellent!!! I would definitely recommend Burgundy Square Cafe to anyone!! Food drink and service is always great!! Oh yeah get the Bloody Mary it’s top notch as well!!!

Had the Clam / Scallop Combo. It came with Lobster Bisque and french fries. Lobster Bisque tasted like it was out of a bag. 1-10. Maybe a 5. Scallops , 4 Sea Scallops , but 2 were cut in half inside the batter. Whole Belly Clams were tiny, almost strips but TINY PORTION. Homemade Fries were good. I know seafood is expensive, but total rip off for 30 bucks! On a better note, have been for breakfast, and breakfast was great .

Always yummy!!! I almost always get the Asian Shrimp Wrap for lunch. SOOOOOO yummy!!! This place is priced like most places downtown these days. Golly I feel old saying that. But, it's true. 😂 Plan on $15+ for lunch plus beverage unless you're okay with water. 🩵 Anything seafood is priced $20-$35 per person. I usually don't go here if my kids are with me, it's a pretty quiet environment and my young children would stand out way too much not being able to be quiet 🤐 all that well.

5 stars all around! Staff was friendly and we had quick service. I had the French toast their homemade cream cheese is a must! My fiancé had eggs, toast and potatoes all was delicious. The vanilla latte is so yummy. Go here 🤍

Chose this place because it really stood out, looks so adorable from the outside and inside matches. Very cute and cozy. The food is great! very pretty presentation and great flavors. Highly recommend the island pancakes and the pesto eggs in a nest :) Service was awesome everyone was very kind and welcoming. We had Jacqueline was our waitress and she was very sweet, helpful, and welcoming as well. Atmosphere here is very relaxed and comfortable. Love the back patio with all the plants and the breeze. definitely will be back soon!

The minute you walk in The Breakfast Cottage, you are made to feel at home. The warm, Old-Florida feel, bright and cheery decor (those table tops!) and genuinely caring wait staff makes this our go-to Breakfast stop. The food is outstanding and plentiful, no skimping on ingredients here (just check out their omlettes!) On crazy busy mornings you may have to wait a little longer, but NOT the "25 minutes" as posted by another reviewer. (We were there during your tantrum) The owner - and for that matter, every staff member - goes out of their way to make your meal as delightful as you expected. The Breakfast Cottage is a true gem, and we will continue to patronize it as long as the coffee keeps flowing. (Black Gold brand - awesome!)

We had a truly wonderful time at The Breakfast Cottage. The food was fantastic, the service was attentive and kind, and the space felt perfectly cozy. We shared the breakfast burrito, pumpkin pancakes, and Reuben Benedict, and every bite was a delight! Each dish was flavorful and the menu's diversity ensured there was something perfect for everyone. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!

Not fancy but the food and drinks were excellent. We both had Blood Orange Margaritas which were refreshing and tasty and the Monte Cristo sandwiches. So sweet and savory and by the way, the fries are amazing.

First time at Abby's on Miami-was just in the area and decided on a whim to try it! Very good! I had the Rachel (Rueban with Turkey) and the boyfriend had a BLT. Both delicious and filling. Our waitress was super sweet too!

Splendid stop in downtown Venice! Excellent food and service. The Seafood Scampi was their evening special of the day-worth every penny of the $28. Small Kale Salad was wonderful-the kale was scrumptious (obviously someone who knows kale & good salads is on staff!)

Excellent lunch! Really tasty, nice portions & homemade food. I got the Panco chicken salad with nice strips of chicken, strawberries, goat cheese & other delights over salad greens. Hubby got the special of coconut shrimp over a salad & loved it. SOUP: get the soup! Yes! Homemade beef veggie with lentils, with great portions of meat & veggies & delicious broth. SERVICE: very attentive & friendly. Atmosphere was great & clean. Even nice bathrooms. COST: reasonable & well worth every dollar. We will be back. Location: in the row of shops. Excellent spot.

I was an exhibitor at a show that was in front of Abbys for 2 days in September. I ate there several times during the weekend. On the 2nd day, we decided to treat ourselves to 2 slices of their pie. The bill was 17ish dollars. I gave the server my credit card and he handed me back a receipt that was over $25. I asked why the difference in the bills and it turns out he charged me for someone elses check. No problem, they were going to credit it and recharge my bill. They certainly did but did not credit the original charge. A week went by and I called the restaurant and actually got the gentleman who made the error. He proceeded to tell me if I was told it was credited, it was. The charge was still on my card and I explained no credit went through. He said he would let the manager know. Another week, still no credit called again and asked for the manager to call me. Nobody ever called so I dealt with my credit card company and did a chargeback to get it resolved. I gave them 3 opportunities to correct their mistake and they couldn't get it right. Not impressed, at all.

Absolutely delicious, especially the shrimp and grits. I get it without bacon, which is just perfect. The vegetable Creole is so incredibly flavorful too. And don't miss the smoked old fashioned! A treat for both your taste buds and your eyes ❤️

Flapjacks has wonderful food, service and people. They only do breakfast and lunch, but you won’t find a bad item on the menu. Today we went all in on breakfast. Their sausage gravy is a winner!

We were in the area and decided to give Flapjacks a try as it is a locally run restaurant. This is a quaint small establishment that is open for breakfast and lunch. We ordered breakfast and everything was excellent. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and the fresh fruit that came with one of the orders was way above what you would get at a chain restaurant. The pancakes, as one would hope, were great, very hearty and perfectly cooked. We have already planned to return when we are in the area next month.

Loved this little place the other day for breakfast. We had great service and the food was hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back when we are in the area again. Breakfast food is pretty good here! The inside is pretty small, which is why I gave it one less star. The mimosas are good and come with fresh strawberries on the glass. They have some good hot sauces, a couple of super hot sauces in the back if you ask for them. They provide some jams on the table for your bread. They have specials on drinks and food every day that are written on the board. I'd recommend for breakfast/brunch if you're looking for a small, cute spot in the area!

The baristas were so helpful in determining what we like and what we should order. They were very knowledgeable on the differences in the bagged coffee they sell and helped me determine exactly which one I would like. Did not disappoint! The coffee there was great, and the bagged coffee is amazing at home as well. We also got a blueberry muffin which was great!

Wow, just wow! Black Gold Coffee Roasters is everything a coffee shop should be and more. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee is incredible and sets the stage for a fantastic experience. I tried the signature Black Gold Latte, and it was perfection in a cup – the balance of raw honey and cinnamon with the rich, smooth espresso was divine. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect spot to either catch up with a friend or get some work done. The staff deserves a special shoutout; they are so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their coffee. You can tell they take great pride in what they do. I also grabbed a bag of their Organic Black Gold Blend to take home, and my morning coffee has never been better. Venice is lucky to have this spot. I'll be back every chance I get!

When we asked a local for a recommendation of where to get good coffee they recommended Black Gold and we were very happy to find this place! There was a bit of a line but that’s a good indication of how much other people find this place the best local option for coffee. The staff was genuinely happy and attentive which put a smile on our faces. The food is also delicious! They make the croissants in house.

We absolutely love this coffee shop! The owner and staff are super helpful and friendly. The drinks are delicious. I highly recommend their honeybee latte. They also make their own baked goods daily. I had the BEST gluten free/vegan muffin ever. Will definitely be going back.

The best coffee in Venice and way beyond. I've joined a couple of coffee clubs where they send a different roast to you each month based on your preferences, but I cancelled and exclusively buy Black Gold's Espresso in 1 or 5 pound bags. Also, Gary and Alyssa are the best people and were so kind to my parents and my family.

Get here early, or you'll miss out on some of the best bagels you'll ever try locally. There are so many bagels along with cream cheese options and our favorite the Bacon egg and cheese! You will usually have a small wait for to go orders, but it's worth it! Hot and fresh bacon always crispy, cheese melty, and eggs cooked perfectly. Everybody's friendly, great prices, delicious food, and always a great way to start the day! This is become a regular spot for a quick breakfast. Being from NJ, this felt like home. Great Taylor ham, egg, & cheese sandwich. Even have Kaiser rolls if you prefer over a bagel. Bagels are excellent with many varieties to pick from. Generous portion of cream cheese for those who like a bagel with cream cheese 😋! Plenty of space to sit inside or out. Venice is lucky to have this place!

They asked if we wanted our bagels toasted which we obviously did, received cold bagels and the cheese isn’t even melted on it. Asked the workers if they could toast them as they weren’t even warm and got approached with attitude and no help, still had to eat our bagels cold and un-toasted.

We have been coming here for years. We enjoy the bagels. Today I noticed my receipt didn't match the menu prices. So I went to the cashier and asked her to explain the extra dollar on my receipt. She mentioned the extra dollar was because the asiago bagel was only made three days a week. That's not specified anywhere. They added an extra 20 cents because they had to grill my bagel. I don't mind paying when I know what I'm paying for ahead of time.

Great place for food! One of our favorite breakfast spots! Always a line so be ready for that. But quick turnaround for food (less than 10mins). Highly recommend!

I'm a regular customer and I love this place but I feel like I need to leave this review. I ordered a jalapeño bagel with scallion cc and bacon but when I got home and opened it there was a sesame bagel with no bacon and walnut cc. I'm only leaving this review because people in my family have nut allergies and Just want people to more cognizant of what they're doing. if you're going to have stuff with nuts that could end someone's life if given to the wrong person or not caught in time.

Great food and atmosphere by the water! Went for 2025 Savor Sarasota menu week and it was fabulous! Awesome salad, oysters Rockefeller, hog fish, chocolate cake and orange cream brûlée. Added plus was the cool music playing while dinning.

We're new to the area and wanted to get a dinner on a patio by the water. This place was amazing! First off we had an fantastic server named Jackson! He made sure that my food was gluten free and non-contaminated by alerting the kitchen. I had a blackberry smash drink and my husband had a skinny margarita. Both were fantastic 😍 My husband got a salmon BLT and I got the mahi blackened. I would definitely recommend a green beans with bacon It was so good! We even had the entertainment of this little bird that sat on one of the dock pillars the entire time we ate. We will definitely be back!

7-13-25. Seven of us ventured to this well established restaurant for breakfast and drinks. Overlooking the canal in Nakomis FL is a spectacular spot to be. It was my first time dining st this restaurant. I highly recommend supporting this local business.

What a lovely place to chill and eat delicious food with great service. Watching the pelicans dip into the water with the Catch of the Day prepared perfectly makes a fantastic memory. Just perfect. Thank you!

Old waterfront bar recommended by a local. This place needs a serious cleaning. The beer was cold. Nice view of an active waterway.

The food is average at best, and the overall value just doesn’t match the prices. Some of the kitchen setup is oddly visible from outside, which doesn’t inspire confidence. I can’t recommend this place. One other thing, Our server clearly doesn’t like dogs—I could tell by her attitude when we let our small Chihuahua out of the backpack to cool off. (We were in the PATIO) My family had a very uncomfortable visit.

Food is always so good here, great atmosphere, beautiful view, good music. We love bringing guests here when they visit.

Detwiler’s Farm Market in Venice is hands-down one of my favorite places to shop! They have an incredible selection of fresh, local produce and the fruits and vegetables are always top quality. The deli is excellent, the seafood is fresh and well-priced, and their sub shop makes some of the best sandwiches around. It’s amazing how much they pack into this market — from ice cream and donuts to pantry staples and local favorites, it really has everything you’d expect from a full grocery store but with that friendly, local feel. Always clean, well-stocked, and the staff is super helpful. Highly recommend stopping by whether you’re doing your weekly shopping or just want something fresh and delicious!

I love you can find good quality meat, fruit and veggies, homemade things like guacamole and dips, orange juice and many others. Raw milk is my favorite thing to find! Kefir too, they have a food section and they make delicious subs and other foods. Also have Ice creams and Açaí bowls to die for! All around an amazing experience!

I hope this location gets upgraded soon. Unlike the others this one is cramped and in dire need of an update. Nonetheless, it’s the only place I could find fresh herbs, vegetables, steaks, pork chops, chicken breast and ribs. Staff is amazing here, very helping at the deli, bakery and cashing out. Parking is ok and don’t forget your watermelons as you enter!

The store was busy and clean... The produce section was fabulous you could buy single pieces of fruit apples and such. A very large selection of pumpkins and squash seasonal produce. Mushrooms, deli was really hopping they were running a $7.99 special turkey sub special. Good selection of meats and dairy. Various samples around the store to try out something new the cheese is that day were delicious. We bought some scones and two bottles of Kutztown white Birch beer soda. Definitely the store has the atmosphere and courtesy of other Amish stores we've been in in Lancaster Pennsylvania which was near our old home. The employees couldn't be more friendly and courteous and very helpful in finding things. The store was a bit small but it was busy. In spite of being extremely busy people were coming in and moving out of the store at a fast pace. Would recommend this place if you like wholesome foods good value and a clean environment.

Detwiler’s is hands-down the freshest place to shop around Venice! The produce, seafood, cheese, and dairy are all great quality and priced really well. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, which makes shopping there a pleasure. The only downside is that it can get really crowded, and the aisles feel a bit tight with carts. But honestly, it’s totally worth it for the freshness and prices. Definitely my go-to spot for groceries!

I was my first time at this café. It's a casual, pleasant restaurant. The food was good. My hamburger was delicious. The fish fry was also very good. Service was outstanding. They close at 1:30 pm and reopen at 4 pm.

We had a hit and miss experience at the Shamrock Cafe. Our service was great and we enjoyed our time. With our food, we had both good and bad. The meatloaf was average at best. The scallops and shrimp had a distinct taste that we were not fond of. We can see others lining it though. The prime rib was very good as were the salads and mashed potatoes. Overall, we spent about $120 for 4 adults and a child. With a bunch of other places to try, we probably won’t be back in a while but it is worth a try if you are in the area especially because the service was very good.

I treated my bride and my parents to Shamrock for lunch. It is appropriately named a cafe and is comfortable. Every staff person encountered was very friendly and polite. Seating for 6 at round tables or 4 at benches was available to us. We opted for a table and had copious amounts of space. I ordered a bowl of soup ($5) while my mother ordered a cup ($3). It seemed the two contained the same amount of soup as my bowl was little more than a miniature crock. The math does not favor the bowl so opt for the cup. The taste of the soup was good. Not great. I also ordered the chicken Oriental salad for $12 - $13. Unfortunately, it was served with 4 half slices of regular orange placed around the perimeter and NOT mandarin oranges as described in the menu. It changes the whole flavor and name of the salad. It was okay but not what I was expecting. The rest of the orders were fine with only one other complaint of too much onion in what I believe was a chicken or tuna sandwich possibly. Even with these hiccups, I would venture to try the dinner or breakfast menu and if it goes well, I will update my rating.

Worst Meatloaf and mashed potatoes I have had in my life! My wife loved the fish fry along with the clam chowder. Waitress was nice but never came back to our table once after she gave us our food. I had to ask the bus boy for a refill on ice tea and a carryout container. Disappointing service for a small diner.

Wow! Terrible experience! Parking lot full, we thought must be good place. We never did eat here, never got chance to order. Waited 30 minutes standing at door inside, NO staff member, NO ONE acknowledged us, not even "be with you shortly", no eye contact, no nod, no wave, NOTHING! 2 waitresses 1 bus boy. NO one greeting or taking names, place was packed! Waitress finally acknowledged us and said "reservations?" "reservations?" "anyone reservations?" shook her head, went over to the other waitress said "can you take another seating" and she said "NO" way! WOW again! We asked to sit in empty booth, were told yes but will be quite a wait because 1 - 2 tables were ahead of us to order. We did wait at the table 15 more minutes NO one came by to ask if we wanted a beverage or to say how much longer our wait would be. Needless to say we left. BAD BAD BAD!! These 2 waitresses were literally running back & forth, table to table to kitchen to bar to table, all the while NEVER looking over our way or never looking at anyone else who was waiting to be seated. BAD BAD BAD!!! The owners were NOT prepared nor did they plan for a full house, which they should have been prepared, especially since it was GOOD Friday. Amen!

Average, went for lunch with friends, Sat in a booth. The bar has a TV blasting Fox news the whole time. Wanted an enjoyable lunch and should have just left but met friends, maybe I'm wrong but the owners playing channels with politics no matter what party's channel is a big turn off. You for sure lost 4 customers from ever returning.

I had the jalapeno burger and it was amazing! The French fries were delicious as well. Kinda like the checkers style and we enjoyed them dipped in their homemade ranch dressing 10/10. The staff also operated as a team with a different staff member refilling our coffee or grabbing us napkins. Our every need was anticipated and met before we even had to ask. Place is clean, friendly and the food was excellent! Great job guys!

I frequently stop in to Peaches for breakfast. I’ve never been disappointed. However, today there was a different cook I haven’t seen before. My omlette was not cooked properly, the 3 egg yolks were still visible because the eggs had not been thoroughly beaten. I’ll certainly return but if it happens again I’ll ask for a do-over !

Ordered through Uber Eats. The first pic is from the website, second is what I got. I guess my mistake for thinking it would come with eggs. I did order well done, very disappointed after being told how great this place was.

Food was good and average prices. I will definitely be back for breakfast. Eggs and breakfast potato’s were good. We also ordered the chilli omelette that was great. The biscuits were lightly grilled and the Gravy was good.

My usual spot, Word of Mouth was closed. Thought I would try Peaches, heard good reviews. Very good omelette, coffee not bad , excellent friendly waitresses, that seemed to work well together. Overall pleasant experience! Would recommend.

Can only rate the service and atmosphere. After waiting 15 mins for table with bumberous tables open the whole time. We sat for another 10 mins afte being seated without even an acknowledgement from the 3 servers working walking by. My mom went to host to make sure we have a sever and he did not even remember seating us. Waitress comes by and say we are busy so its gonna be awhile. First of all I work as a server 3 to 4 tables a piece in not very bus8y In causal breakfast restaurant. Left before ordering after wasting 25 mins. After dealing with this rude and cleary not very hard working staff I should be restful we went to eat elsewhere.

Amazing eggs Benedict. I got the fried chicken one, hollandaise was very creamy. I got hashbrowns on the side with all the fixings , I did not know what all the fixings were before ordering but it is definetly worth the price!

Shout out to the Metro Diner for hosting a fun car night yesterday. A great atmosphere and wild assortment of cars from a 1957 Porsche Speedster, 40’s mob car complete with Tommy Gun, and of course the 60 and 70s muscle cars you wished you’d held on to. Respect to the incredibly creative and talented owners of the rat rods. Even a couple of old BMW Airhead motorcycles joined a fun group of car enthusiasts. And Metro Diner’s super friendly team was obviously inspired by the car hop vibes. The food of course was great, just as the other positive reviews describe. Fried chicken dinner is a must-have! And the table next to us recommended the meat loaf next time. Thank you to Frank D. and the Metro Diner team! See you again soon.

Twice, my takeout delivery order was lite. As a regular, I know the portions. I will take this location off of my list for delivery but continue to visit the location in person. Trust me, I spend a whole lot more on deliveries. Advice, run an in-service on portioning.

Adrienne was our server she was great! The food was fantastic. The fried fish was just right. I substituted mash potatoes and gravy for the fries with no problem. The cold slaw was just like what my Aunt used to make. Will definitely be back and recommended this place to those I know. I wish I lived closer. If I could I would give the place and the waitress more than 5 stars

We had breakfast at Metro Dinner during our recent visit to Venice. The food was excellent. I had the Chicken Eggs benedict. My husband and I shared a short stack of pancakes. One cinnamon swirl, and the other pumpkin. The hostess greeted us with a welcoming smile and cheerful hello. The fried chicken was marinated in buttermilk, juicy, tender, and tasty. The hollandaise sauce was the best I have ever had, so buttery and flavorful. The eggs cooked were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were scrumptious. Our waitress was very helpful and did a great job. Hats off to the cooks! Great job guys. Our breakfast was a great introduction to Metro Dinner. We will be back!!

Had a Clipp APP coupon for 10% off I decided to give this place a try. The lady at Eye Maxx said it was pretty good. Tina was my server , Very pleasant and accommodating for whatever I asked for. Ordered a small Greek salad and a Bowl of their Soup of the day, " chicken " lemon rice soup. The reason chicken is in parenthesis is because there was absolutely NO chicken in this bowl of soup. So will call it chicken broth and rice soup. Wasn't very lemony either. If you look on their website , theres a picture if the soup with a big chunk of chicken in the middle ( RealisticallyI know Im not going to get a bowl like that , but if you say theres chicken in it, there should be. Ive gone to many mediterranean, Greek restaurants for soup like chicken lemon orzo or rice and it definitely tastes like lemon . Unfortunately cannot give this restaurant a 5 . More like a 4 1/2 but unfortunately it was closer to 4 than a 5 . The greek salad was nice and fresh and the dressing very good ( says its homemade, I don't doubt it is ) All and all, a good place if you happen to be in the shopping center and want a quick bite

First time here. Seems like a locals place so you know it should be good. Interesting specials. Wife ordered coconut and mango french toast. Very good. Ham, Swiss and mushroom omelet with home fries good size and cooked so it wasn't dried out. Choice of bread and no upcharge for English muffin. Coffee left you wanting a second cup but waitress never came back after saying she would. However, will return.

Went for Sunday brunch with a group. We got in at a good time because it got crowded quickly. Place was packed! Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was good and portions were huge for me. Had to take half of my food home. I asked for Swissh cheese instead of feta but I guess they misunderstood so they put both cheeses. Not a big deal. They accomodated my request to add spinach to the gyro omelette.

Great food at a great price. Staff attentive and friendly. The gyro omelette is my favorite!

So, what can I say. I did not like at all. Coffee is cheap drink. Yakk. Food was hot, but not good. So, not my cup of tea. Just OK. But I wish them good luck and to find a good cook . They do not have saur cream!

Our experience was so much better in this location compared to Sarasota. Perhaps it was due to being a smaller store and being staffed well but they had better customer service and and our server was more attentive. Food was pretty good. I like that they have healthy options. We liked their beet juice more than we expected. It was earthy and we liked that it was not too sweet. Better than the purple haze drink which was too sweet for my taste. We liked dining here and looking forward to coming back.

What a way to end a vacation in Venice Florida other than visiting the local First Watch. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. But the service that Mr. Sean provided us with was phenomenal. Very attentive and made sure our dining experience was pleasant...... Sean you have made our vacation complete thank you.

My second time at this location as I am used to Sarasota's locations. I ordered a Kale & Berry Salad "to go" and was told to wait 10 minutes or so but I was surprise when it was not more than 5 minutes. When I opened it to my surprise, it was no "kale" to be seen on top or underneath the chicken. It was also too late to go back and request the proper ingredients. I understand this is a "Franchise" but someone forgot to get proper instructions. My first visit was not pleasant either but being on a busy day, I wanted to give them a second change.

Went here for breakfast with my family, we have a family member with very strict allergies and this place was perfect! All our food was very tasty, and fresh. Our waitress was very sweet and double checked on everything for our meals due to allergies. A group of 5 and all of us were thrilled with our food. (One being a kid, she loved the fruit & pancakes! Great options on the kids menu!) The environment was very comfortable inside, very clean, and smelled fantastic. There is also outside dining as an option! I would highly recommend this place and would return if I visit Venice again. Thank you for the wonderful meal and kindness!

Always enjoy a visit to first watch, and am glad they have locations in other states. Arrived at the tail end of lunch, but it was still pretty busy, but no wait for our table. Power wrap was delicious as was the pumpkin muffins. Portions are always generous and a reasonable price for the food quality and portion size. Would definitely come back.

This is probably the best donuts and bbq that you can get under one roof in Florida. We got a full rack of ribs, a key lime filled, a chocolate old fashioned, a cinnamon roll and a chocolate iced angel cream. The ribs were tasty and definitely the best we've had in Florida. The key lime was what you think of when you think of a tropical island dessert. The old fashioned was good just different since I've only had regular old fashioned before. The cinnamon roll was a fluffy cinnamon roll that was not over glazed or over spiced. The angel filled was not what we were expecting, the cream was like a vanilla icing inside of a bar doughnut that had been frosted with chocolate cake frosting. So all in all I easily can recommend the bbq, but the donuts for the most part leave something to be desired.

This is such a friendly spot to stop for some sweet treats! The variety is awesome, the quality is amazing and the price varies from 1.99 to maybe 3.49ish depending on the selected item. Scones, donuts, biscuits and gravy, coffee and more! Small shop with great folks behind the counter. Clean, welcoming environment! Will always stop when I’m in the area and highly recommend to anyone I meet! Enjoy some photos of the maple bacon, old fashioned and chocolate frosted. My personal favorites are the raspberry filled and also the key lime coconut (a Florida thing I guess)

Amazing donuts and outstanding customer service. I took my three kids to get donuts today and they all wanted the same one. The problem was they only had one left. The staff was so kind they went out of their way to freshly make two more of the particular donut so my kids could all have what they wanted. Thank you for going above and beyond! Randomly came across Yummies today while taking my mom to the eye Dr. So glad I discovered this place, the donuts are amazing! I had the angel cream filled with chocolate icing and it was probably one of the best donuts I've ever had. I chatted with the owner Alan for a few minutes, he was very nice as well as the woman working behind the counter. I'll definitely be back!

Ok so there exterior marketing is a little cringe, but holly hell is the food good AND well priced. Chocolate donut was good, The donut itself was perfectly semi-sweet. For the entree I got brisket on top of pigtails, their term for spiral sliced potato deep fried. It was amazing and I could barely finish a third of it. I think it was like 12 bucks, I could totally see it. Feeding two really hungry people. Yeah

First time I went there with my client and her 2 kids. We really enjoyed and loved the food is fantastic. Service is very good and the prices are affordable. I went on the weekend and they had a girl singing, her voice is very sweet… I’m excited to go back again. 😀

Great breakfast and service. Plenty of attention from the servers. And just the right amount of attitude to make it fun. Lots of people there, which is always a good clue that the food and service are decent. And they were. The coffee was good but maybe a tad weak.

Service was horrible, only 2 tables had a total of 4 people. Server gave me luke warm coffee and said she would be back. Almost 10 minutes later she goes to clean another table and asked if we had ordered. Food came pretty quick.Food is expensive for what you get. We wanted some jelly for toast but server never came back. I had to go to the counter and ask for our check. About the 10th time we've eaten there and it got worse each time. No more!

Super cool vibe 😁 had a very delicious lavender latte and a croissant with Swiss cheese and a fried egg. Lots of seating, not crowded. I sat on a comfy couch next to a life size skeleton wearing a beret and a baguette in its mouth. The hat and bread were obviously french references. The skeleton itself was more of a puzzle. I'm assuming it's a reference to the Paris catacombs. Either way, the skeleton made great company. I stayed for about three hours to work on my iPad. Good vibes all around. Shout out to Eli for the artistic latte! I messed it up a bit because I already took a sip before I took the photo.

10/10 mocha latte with pistachio! I’ve only had the pleasure of trying their delicious pastries and croissants. Love the authenticity and reputable sourcing of their pastries 🤗My favorite person is miss Aubrey, her customer service is top tier. The owners are kinda goofy which I totally love! Wow! I had no idea this little Gem of a French Bakery/coffee/wine cafe was so close to me! I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the 2 women behind the counter.😊 It was difficult to choose my latte and pastry as there were so many tempting choices.🥐☕️ Then I had to choose where to sit and hang out with my book. Again, lots of choices of sitting areas. I liked how the music was not too loud so that you could have a conversation if meeting a friend. The menu had a nice collection of quiches, salads, flatbreads, and French cheese plates. Also offered is a glass of wine or beer to go along with your yummy lunch. My vanilla-caramel latte and chocolate avalanche pastry was incredible. Walk in and this is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been too. The environment is awesome with the theming and the coffee is really good too! They put in a lot of work to get this place like this and it’s insanely nice to go in and see everything! I like the music to it’s quite relaxing. I recommend this place to anyone it’s going to be a staple to Venice Florida!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. My cappuccino was bitter. The vegetable and cheese croissant was served cold and did not taste fresh. When I asked them to heat it up, although the wait staff was accommodating, it was STILL cold inside. One of the ladies behind the counter argued that it was good cold, but it wasn't. It would have been better with the cheese melted and the spinach hot or at least warm, in my humble opinion. The skeleton decor was not very funny and the table and chairs were not very comfortable. It's not halloween so the skeleton made me uncomfortable because I was thinking there was a negative and "dark" vibe in the place. My friend and I intended to pay separately, but the person who took our order automatically charged the entire bill to one of us. She didn't ask us if we wanted to combine our orders. We ordered separately. I do not intend to return or to recommend it to anyone.

What a delight to be able to give a 5 star review! I often desire a quick place to escape the hurry of my day to day activities, this is a perfect spot. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so pleasant. A spacious cafe environment skillfully designed to celebrate French cuisine and attitudes. The French music bubbles in the background without overwhelmingly the relaxed mood. Our food was light and decadent, clearly prepared with care, balance and patience. How they manage to make their food have bakery quality without feeling mass produced is a mystery but my guess is excellent preparation each day. It didn’t take long for our sandwiches to come out hot, the service was superb. Right now they are doing sandwich, side and drink deals so we also had beverages. The chai latte was brewed with tea leaves onsite and you could taste the fresh flavors. The sparkling lemonade was refreshing and not aggressively aerated so I could discern the floral flavors without being hit over the head with bitterness. We did not feel rushed or hurried at all, in fact there were books and games available for patrons to use if we desired it. We will definitely be coming again. I recommend Le Parisian sandwich, with fruit side and the sparkling lemonade. They preserved the fruit in lemon juice so it paired well with my lemonade. We’ll be back for bakery items in the future, the smell was wonderful.

Cute French cafe here in Venice! Stumbled upon this placr after having brunch nearby. I can’t wait to come back next time to try their quiche and pastries with a cup of coffee. I got a dessert to take home - Palermo. It was a delicious Pistachio entremet. They have a mimosa brunch special on Sundays. Still waiting for their fridges to be up and running. I hope they update their Google page once it’s up so we can come by again. The pastries looked so delicious! I wish they also had bread. The decor was cute and trendy. Feels like there’s something for everyone there - books, board games and puzzles too I think. Inviting place to sit down, drink coffee and relax.

Our server was very sweet. However most of the food fell short for 3/4 of our party. One of us got the chicken and dumplings with green beans, spiced apples, and coleslaw. The sides were fine but the chicken and dumplings was cold and congealed. We let our server know and she took it back. Minutes later, it came back and it was obvious it has been microwaved. It was blazing hot and steaming and the plate was extremely hot….all signs that it was just thrown in a microwave. 2 of us ordered the bacon cheese burgers and received no bacon. Our server brought us some on the side eventually. 1 side of coleslaw was completely forgotten about. The fries were very good and crisp. The Dr Pepper was horrendous and tasted like dirty dish water. $70 for 3 cheeseburgers and some chicken and dump listing seems excessive for the quality we got. We used to love Cracker Barrel but weren’t impressed this time around.

Definitely different from prior visits!!!! Taste of entrees off… dark, dark brown gravy, very lumpy potatoes, serving size definitely sized -down & of course, ante upped prices! Lastly, took home some sort of French toast bake…. Mostly dry, hard bread. No substance whatsoever! Not even edible ! Regrettably, it will be a while before returning! I will add the server was very attentive !

I ordered delivery and I ordered the grilled chicken salad cost around $15 or so. The last time I ordered the salad it came in a big container. What I got today was a side salad at the cost of the grilled chicken salad as a meal.

I love Cracker Barrel and everything about it. The food is always consistently good. The service is exemplary both in the dining room and the front of the house. The prices are very reasonable considering our economy right now. That is always my go to when I’m in that area, which is not far from my home. And of course the shopping prices are very good as well. I do a lot of my Christmas shopping in Cracker Barrel and I am never disappointed. I would give this place a 10 if I could.

Drink order was wrong. We both ordered meatloaf lunch. One had a piece of meatloaf about 1" thick the other had a piece about 1/4" thick. Never got or was able to get a refill on diet coke. Waitress was no where to be found. Although visit wasn't the best I will continue to visit cracker barrel. I will just lower my expectations. When traveling home cooked meals are nice to have.

The service sucks here.. Customer service must not be a priority.. From the host, to server, the manager walking around. My food was okay, but not their best today. Definitely wasted my money

If you want amazing southern desserts, this is the place for you. It was easy to find, lots of parking and it's open all the way to midnight. The host was very friendly and kind. The service was very fast. The food was nicely done but the steak was too salty I couldn't eat it. The rest was okay. I ordered a dessert to make up for it and it was Amazing!!! I'd recommend this place for desserts. The place is clean and has alot of space but I won't go back and sit it coz it had this smell of raw chicken that was soo strong and heavy.

I'm not certain I would recommend this location. While the tables were visibly clean they were sticky to the touch. I had to remind the waitress we ordered coffee after she brought out our meal. The waitress never checked back with us to see if we needed anything further and we had to get up and start walking out before the waitress finally acknowledged us. And then they wanted me to leave a tip.....sorry but no.

A great place to enjoy a great breakfast. Perkins has been in the same location in Venice for as long as I can remember. I recall dining there 40 years ago, in the 1980's, and they're still serving breakfast and other American cuisine after all these years. I ordered the Potato Pancakes and was very happy with my meal. We'll be back 09/01/2024 We returned for brunch. My compliments to the Chef and our waitress Nicole. The Eggs Benedict was perfectly prepared and a culinary delight. Thank you again Perkins!

A big shout out to Perkins for squeezing in a party of 36 on a Sunday morning at 9:30 with notice given the night before! They were great! The service was wonderful, the food was hot and delicious and my whole family here for our mothers 90th birthday couldn't have been happier!! Thank you so very much.

The strawberry cheesecake pancake platter was to die for! Best pancake I’ve ever had and surprisingly refreshing?? I expected the filling to be a bit too much but it was the perfect amount! Both in quantity and in flavor! The meal was wonderful and our waitress Nicole was amazing herself. We are vegetarian and Nicole went out of her way to accommodate us. Excited to come again and try some other specials. 😁

We eat here regularly as my office is close. We are always greeted and seated relatively quickly. I love that they have a soda fountain that adds a flavor to the basic diet coke, etc. 😀 They have the best pancakes 🥞!!! I've tried many all over and these are buttery and light and fluffy!! Just do it! Maybe not every day, but certainly occasionally! 😉 they are so good I don't even add syrup until the last part. 😀 My other favorite is the shrimp teriyaki skillet. Mmmm. Amazingly the shrimp comes out nicely, not all hard and rubbery like so many places do. Impressive considering this is Perkins. 😀 The employees are all very real. They are helpful and sweet and take care of you as fast as they can. They will tell you if it's crazy and apologize if it's not as fast as normal. I see them regularly and they are good people. Tip them well, bc not everyone is good back. 💚

Went Friday night at around 6 PM for what we had hoped was a quick dinner but ended up staying for over an hour due to how busy it was. The place was packed when we arrived but we were seated promptly. Our server was friendly but we can see that she had a lot of tables and she was very busy. Eggs were cooked the way I want them, slightly runny. Waffles were good. They have a wide range of drink selections. Also they have specials for adults who are 55+ which I thought was nice.

Great food every time! Don’t pay full price. Get the specials on the widows. You have to ask for the specials 😊 4 stars only because the inside is rundown and the ceiling leaks.

Ordered a to go, fries were burnt and the portion was so small, tasted horrible. The chicken sandwhich was OK. Overpriced for the quality of food, took them 40 minutes to prepare because they're under staffed. I won't be returning there again.

It’s a normal Denny’s. Prices are much higher than I was used to (or expecting) but the Original Grand Slam for $5.99? Can’t beat that anywhere!! Our waitress was nice but had no idea how their rewards program works. Does anyone? Food was good. Bathroom smelled like stale cat urine. Not many people here even for Mother’s Day.

It was okay ....only one waitress. Food was okay. Nothing special. It was hot severed. Customers in and Customer out.

Probably the most expensive Dennys I've ever eaten at. Food was OK at best. Waitress was the rudest server I've ever encountered. Literally droping plates on the table and spill drinks when she set them down on purpose. I guess the 6 tables she was waiting on in the restaurant that seats around 50 was overwhelming her. There's a reason the restaurant was at about 10% capacity at dinner time on a holiday week. If I walk in next year and she's the server I'll leave and eat a pack of crackers. My tip to her is to find a new career not dealing with the general public. She should be fired immediately to save what very few customers remain.

Had lunch here on 05/28/2025. The hamburger was terrific!!! The best I've had at a sit down restaurant in a long time. Moist, tasty & perfectly cooked. Enjoyed every bite. 🙂 So glad there is still a Denny's in Englewood Florida!!! 👍👍👍

Our waitress, Donna, was fantastic - really went out of her way to accommodate our group of four adults and three children ... on Thanksgiving Day AND when one of the staff already called in to say that she was not going to make it in! Talk about a tough day! She was a cheerful trooper for sure The service was better than the food and the restrooms were the pits. Understaffed on a holiday - never a good thing, something has to give. Tho these days a company is lucky to have staff and/or supplies on a GOOD DAY!

Bob Evans is a great, friendly, customer oriented restaurant. An excellent choice for breakfast, breakfast meetings, lunch or dinner. My men’s group meets there twice a month and the tables are always set and waiting, with hot coffee handed out as we arrive. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is homespun and I recommend them very highly!

Bob Evans never seems to fail me! This Bob Evans was clean and bright and welcoming. Nanci my waitress was excellent. Chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns… Some biscuits and coffee that never ran out. Fast Wi-Fi too

Purchase was a carryout. Got it home to find out it was the wrong coffee. I ordered extra bacon extra crisp. Did not receive extra bacon and what I received was not crisp. Also, ordered eggs over easy and they were over hard. Definitely not up to standards we are used to from Bob Evans.

Food was typical. Ordered the biscuit sandwiches. Waitstaff were a little uneven. Our first was very friendly and the second was quieter, forgot one of our items and we had to leave our table to get our bill. Restaurant was not busy.

Absolutely worst ordering experience. Ordered online delivery as we were in the mood for a family style meal but had to work late so decided on delivery. Got the fried chicken family meal. We only got half a container of mashed potatoes, the Mac and cheese which was our other side was missing. The "fried chicken" looked like frozen hockey pucks drenched in breading, my dogs wouldn't even it. Frozen chicken patties from Publix are more appetizing. The chicken gravy was so off putting we threw it right away. Tried calling to discuss my order and was hung up on numerous times as I sat on hold for 40 minutes until they closed and we could no longer get through. Should have read the recent reviews this place should be inspected. It's been almost 2 years since we ordered from here but even I'm the middle of COVID it wasn't bad. Stay away at all costs.

We had a 25 minute wait for lunch on a Sunday. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. All the food was delicious! More healthier options would be nice but they were very accommodating for omitting things from entrees and salads. Update: We returned to enjoy some rare treats. The bread is still very delicious. Below tea is served in your own hot water pitcher with a variety of bags. Open faced omelet with sausage, gravy and potatoes was rich and savory. And the pot roast was cooked to perfection!

Gwendlyn , one of the managers at this location went above the basic criteria for Customer Service. Gwendlyn helped me out with an early morning bakery pick up. The items were aesthetically packaged in a neat and organized manner. She was absolutely wonderful.

Because this location NEVER has cheese soufflés by 9 AM, we decided to order as soon as we woke up. Sometimes, you get lucky and receive what you ordered, but other times, you drive all that way only to find out your order was canceled just 8 minutes before pickup. I’m wondering—who is the manager here? Isn’t it obvious that this store needs to make more soufflés??!! How in the world can you take an order, charge for it, and then cancel it 8 minutes before pickup??? we moved here from Sarasota three years ago , we never had an issue there! The receptionist told me they were out, but I ordered two hours in advance!!! I’m about to give up on this store :(

The mens bathroom urinal has been broken for nearly a week now. The room is very dirty. My man does not like using it. Very unsanitary

Worst meal ever! I ordered the mediterranean grain salad. I had to tell the cashier three times. He gave me the mediterranean chicken salad with a baguette. I asked for an apple. The salad greens were slimy and there was no dressing. It was disgusting.

The cleanliness is a zero. I have been to multiple Panera breads, and this one is by far the dirtiest. There is food on the bowls And the utensils are dirty. The booths are never cleaned. Such a dirty atmosphere It makes you not even want to enjoy your food.

Food and atmosphere are a 10/10. So many delicious menu options for breakfast and lunch. Has options for gluten free, nut free and has protein bars! Lots of healthy options. Perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend!!

My favorite cafe in the area- it’s more elevated, customizable and friendly than the competition. Clean, healthy, tasty food. Great location in town, easy to combine with some time on the beach (or Saturday farmers market).

Nice place for breakfast. Prices are reasonable as well. Servings are ample and the food selection is terrific. Service was fast and respectful. Everyone was pleasant and very attentive to refills on coffee and ice tea. I have eaten at the bar as well as tables and both are well served. This is a good place to bring a friend for a comfortable meal.

First time at skillets, we all had the chicken pesto panini- it was so good!! Very clean, fast service, lots of tables, clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

This was my first time at Skillets but it will not be my last. The restaurant was clean, the staff were welcoming. My server Colleen was very helpful, she answered my questions with knowledge and was very accommodating. The manager Laura stopped by table and welcomed me. The food was scrumptious, I had the corned beef has, it was delicious, not from a can like most places. The scone of the day was chocolate chip. So yummy!

My husband and I just moved to Venice and tried Skillets for the first time. I see many more breakfast trips here in our future! Can’t wait to bring family. The staff was so friendly, the food came out quick, and our breakfast tasted fantastic! We will be frequent customers now.

Lily was very nice, but what I ordered did not come to the table lol I asked for mushrooms instead of olives, she said sure, I asked to add cheese on top and it was very little quantity, I do not mind paying for extras, just would like it to be a reasonable amount lol, they do not do french fries, so asked for well done crispy hash browns, again, not at all crispy. I asked for extra butter on my English muffin, she said I will bring some on side, muffin was dry no butter at all on it and the butter she brought was cold and hard to spread lol what got me the most was she didn't acknowledge the order being wrong even with the olives on plate out from my omelette not the lightly done hash rowns lol I was beginning to wonder if the cook was an ex of mine 🤔🤣 or just doesn't read tickets lol this was first visit, but hey, I've served for decades so I understand, just a little disappointing lol luckily I have cheese and mushrooms to make it the way I ordered so all good!

The service was the best part of our visit. There was one lady doing everything. Samantha was making the order before us and turned to us and asked if we were ordering food, we said yes and told her what we wanted and see started preparing it before she came to to counter to take our order. We ordered 2 of the chorizo sausage burritos. For drinks we got the frozen coffee with french vanilla, Carmel drizzle on the cup with sweet cold foam. It was better than Starbucks at half the price. She was very polite even though she was very busy with customers orders.

She was working all alone on a wednesday morning at 7:20!!! which is rush hour too, first of all she shouldn’t be working alone because that’s basically torture but she was definitely doing it and somehow pulling it off which made me want to get behind the counter with her (but i have school) so please put her on with other employees so the queen doesn’t have to run around everywhere !!! other than that she’s amazing and speedy. Help her out fr. or give her a raise idk.

Took my 2 granddaughters there and let them try the strawberry lemonade and they got the 2 toned pink dunkin cups on sale also. The staff is so friendly and amazing.

This place is lacking in all areas; customer service, cleanliness, food quality (barely cooked food), and inventory (basically out of donuts by 7:30am). If the actions/ attitude of a business reflect on those managing them, it might be time to clean house. The price gouging at this location is also incredible; other Duncan's in this area charge almost .70 less per item. Last visit to this location; so over you.

Waited more than 20 mins for a single coffee order and when I went to tell them I'm still waiting for my order there was no apology or anything except he said "yeah, they're busy right now" Store is also pretty messy and dirty. Crumbles, sticky stuff everywhere. Tables are a mess. Staff isn't nice at all. Especially the older gentleman. Restroom has no working fan or AC. It's disgusting to go in there especially after someone else.

When a venti is ordered, you guys need to make sure it's a venti size. At first, I was given a half filled drink with 30-40% of the cup filled with useless foam that was the byproduct of mixing the drink. I asked the barista to fill it up a little bit more with milk at least to make it appear I got what I paid for. Even after filling it with milk, it was not quite full. bariata's answer to why it's not even half filled was " it's just that way bc it's espresso based" but I ordered a special drink that uses espresso. Edit :Here's the kicker. Came back to my office, took a sip of the coffee, it tasted like toilet water. Had to go back to get it remade. Overall terrible exp. I will be going to a different location.

This Starbucks has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The service is extremely slow, the staff seems uninterested and unprofessional, and the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. Orders are never correct, and on top of that, the employees act as if you’re bothering them just by ordering. I ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino with heavy cream, and what I got was a cup full of ice, basically watered-down milk with bitter coffee — nothing like what I paid for. I’ve visited many other Starbucks locations and none have left such a terrible impression. I definitely do not recommend this place; there are much better coffee options in Venice where at least they respect the customer.

First of all, this is the type of experience that you only dream of getting, but never do I specifically ordered my drink with the vanilla cold foam and Kara knew my drink because I come in there SO often and so many many of the girls deserve a shout out too but her and KARA Recognized that the ticket wasn’t right and it didn’t include the cold foam and she was like “Krissy you never do it without cold foam. Is there a reason that you’re not?” I said no “I ordered cold foam and she said,” OK. I’ll make sure to make it with the cold foam for you and she completely made my drink perfect as she always does!!! I’m not sure if she gets enough recognition. She’s very quiet. She doesn’t speak a lot, so I really wanted to take a moment and go above and beyond and shout her out because she deserves it she works so diligently effortlessly efficiently and I never see her taking a break and I used to be a general manager and stuff like that sticks out to me and I really wanted to make sure that she got recognized for outstanding customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s the reason that I go to this store. It’s the reason that I wanted to work at the store as a barista just because One is just so nice and friendly and know me by name and it’s so nice! Inconsiderate and not the smartest group of workers in here. I explain that I’m picking up 2 orders under the same name she says they only have one, I ask are you SURE she says yes. All she had to do was turn around maybe walk 2 feet to see my drink sitting there but now I have to take my baby out of the car and walk inside to get the rest of this order.

New to town & my fiancé and I came across this cafe on the way to the beach. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere and staff were super friendly and inviting. Rosie and her mom were the absolute sweetest; they greeted us with genuine smiles, introduced themselves by name, and made us feel like more than just customers—they made us feel like a guests in their home. PLUS, the food was delicious & worth the wait. I definitely recommend the iced machiatto & Turkey wrap with the homemade cranberry Mayo! This little café is a gem. If you’re looking for a spot where the people are as wonderful as the food, this is it. 😀☕️

I really like this place. The breakfast quiche and hashbrown casserole is so yummy. But wait, if you really want a treat, you've gotta try the hot chocolate (I had it with Oat milk, it was fabulous!) We stumbled across the Coffee Cafe, and I am SO thrilled that we did! The food there was some of the best I've ever had!! The menu was so different from anything I've seen locally. I had the oatmeal... Oh my goodness was it OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! It was so incredibly fresh, with delicious fresh fruit and nuts, agave, a bit of brown sugar and cream (heated!) on the side... We are ABSOLUTELY returning as regulars!! The owners were so wonderful, kind, and amazingly attentive! My husband and I can recommend this lovely establishment! Try it; you'll have found your new favorite!

I really enjoyed my stop into the Coffee Cafe during my trip to Venice. The woman behind the counter was a sweetheart and the food was fresh and delicious. The one issue was my food was served in a styrofoam takeout box even though I was eating in. I’m personally not a fan of hot food on styrofoam and would have preferred a plate. But overall, the atmosphere was cozy, the food was good and staff were friendly. If I lived in the area, I would likely be a regular.

Two weeks ago I went here and they forgot my fries and gave me a cheeseburger instead of hamburger. OK, mistakes happen, no big deal. Today this is what the fish sandwich looked like?!? and the lettuce on my mcchicken was black. Zero stars if I could.

Waiting 20 min for a to go order with NO communication and I try to speak up and ask if I should have used drive thru and COMPLETELY IGNORED.. Stop trying to save money and get WORKERS in there. You're obviously not a worker...and your customer service could use a course. However, a mentally disabled fire hydrant could slap together a better sandwich. Where in your order makers brain did it seem ok to serve this. I don't care how tired you are or how long your day has been. I work my butt off in the Florida sun for 8-10 hours a day and I provide quality service the whole time regardless. Would give zero or negative stars if I could. Must be a requirement to smoke crack if you want to work here. Food is always wrong. Line is always long. Used my points for a drink then told me the points don’t work for that drink. My breakfast sandwich was not cooked, cheese is cold on a warm sandwich. No cold foam on my coffee. I asked for it, was handed a coffee with no cold foam. I asked for cold foam and was told it’s in there and I won’t be getting more. Literally none on it. The worker gave me the nastiest look. Literally Dunkin, you need to go check on this branch. This is a daily issue.

The brunette lady with a tattoo on her neck. (I'm thinking is the manager) She has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I asked about my hash browns confusing my order for the previous order. She developed an attitude really quick. I apologized for my mistake, and she kept on by saying "Jesus Christ" under her breath and shaking her head the whole time. I responded, " it's my mistake. Sorry about that." To which she tosses the food on the counter rolls her eyes and turns away again, shaking her head. Horrible service by her. Everyone else was great, and you could tell they were embarrassed.

The place is big and in the morning it gets really crowded with people but the staff is really nice, friendly and patient. I had to make a large order for myself and 4 people more so it was a little complicated to order, specially when not all of us were knew what to order. Ordered a mobile order 2 coffees ordered it in advance so it would be ready as I had to rush to a doctors appointment. Took them 22 minutes to give me milk and sugar instead of a Carmel macchiato of course I had no time to make them correct it either. Horrible service last few times I went I thought the weight was a fluke but they consistently take forever. There’s one male worker who tries his best to get orders out but the girl there is awful! Normally Wawa has great food and service. This morning wasn’t one of those times. I got a bacon egg and cheese French toast sandwich. As you can see, it may have gotten a little burnt. I’m diabetic and my sugar was low, so I ate what I could handle. Unfortunately I was sick a few hours later. I knew I should have brought it in but I was in a heart.

I go into this wawa literally everyday. There are super nice workers and two older lady worker who just don’t care about what they are doing. The one charged me for water in a cup from the fountain and wouldn’t give me the change back for it. Then today i was charged $4.80 for and iced coffee which i didn’t get, i got a slurpee. I said something to the lady and she told me my drink was a coffee today and that it was cheaper this way. I normally pay $2-3 and she wouldn’t give me my change. They need to do better.

I am here pretty much everyday for fuel and breakfast before heading to work. They seem to have been matching their prices, if not a cent or two lower than the Racetrac next door. I use the app so I pay through there. When I go inside for my breakfast and morning pick-me-up energy drink, the staff is always friendly and very welcoming. I definitely recommend downloading the app, because they have some great deals on it, like saving 15 to 30 cents off of every gallon of gas.

Went in on July 4th about 4 in the afternoon. Jay your cashier was very friendly, smiling face and helpful personality to everyone really stood out. We are from out of town and asked about local ice-cream and she provided us with a winner. She's a 5 star employee

Their fuel is typically a few cents. Higher than The racetrac next door which wouldn't be so bad if their pumps weren't at about a quarter of the speed of every other gas station makes me believe that they don't change their fuel filters. I won't be back

I love the food and cleanliness, but customer service is very poor! Apparently there is no free refills, there is no sign so I didn't know, an employee was incredibly rude about it! I hadn't left the building yet, I was still shopping. And the corporate office was no better! If you expect to enforce no free refills at a self serve station, there should be a sign! Update; still unhappy! Quality has seriously declined, squashed the life out of my sandwich

We ordered a happy meal. We got literally 5 solo fries dumped into the happy meal container (picture 1). We went back around and asked for another fry with a true serving, and we got a puny and pointless replacement (picture 2). When fries were 99 cents once upon a time, alright, but when even trash food from McDonald's is $10, I expect a warm, worthwhile meal, or at least an actual serving. I offered additional stars for the service because the guy at the pay counter tried his best to offer a replacement, but he still had the same soulless person up front filling the food so no difference there.

I have eaten at this McDonalds for years and today was the most disgusting experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I used the app to place a delivery order with the Venice bypass location which was easy. I used my points to get a Big Mac meal and what I received was an eaten sandwich and no fries. I felt so violated as this was done at the location before it was sealed and picked up by door dash.

i came here multiple times in the morning ans the tables are always dirty, fries on the floor from previous night. tdy i came in early got a bowl of oatmeal and frappe. there was still uncooked oats in the bowl and i was the only customer at the time so idk why they couldn’t take there times to do it right. i got my frappe and it was not filled to the top like other Mc donald’s do ans it barley had whip crème which should also be filled to the top. No one is in dress code and the lady didn’t ask me am i using my Mobile app.

This McDonald’s was lacking in the seating department. Not as many tables as other locations. Also, you have to keep checking if your food is ready by going up to the front. We did not know that and waited a while until another customer told us to check ourselves. The food is familiar and yummy as always. Fish fillets are delicious :)

The times that I’ve came at this specific location, something wrong happens. 1. My McDonald’s App when I use a code doesn’t work. 2. Bad service. One day when I came here, I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and a bunch of black bits was on the burger. I’m pretty sure that the grill wasn’t cleaned. 3. When I use my points in the Mobile App to get free food, they still charge the item and I also lose the points. In total of the times I came here I’ve lost around 12,000 points. This is not a good McDonald’s location.

Such a dirty place. All the tables were filthy, seats are filthy and don’t even get me started on the floors. I don’t think floors have been cleaned in a while. Asked a woman to please have someone wipe a table, got an attitude. It doesn’t seem like there’s any adults working, therefore the restaurant isn’t getting managed properly. Can’t see myself eating there again.

Went on Sat Aug 30 at 145pm. The lady at the register (Marilyn) was so rude and yelled at my wife because she complained that the Sundae was melted and the fudge was so little on top. She told her if you want more fudge you should pay for it and don't start being rude. Very disrespectful

It is inside a Target so you can't get your drinks quickly. Also, the coffee was served so hot, I couldn't drink it for about 10 minutes. Being in Target, I'm not sure if the baristas are Target employees or what the issue was but ... The coffee was extremely hot. If you are used to a chill vibe, this might not be the place for you either. The store aspect was too hard to ignore, from the unbalanced tables to the $2 hot dog/drink sign of the little eatery they have positioned right next to the Starbucks, which was visible on the wall opposite from where I was sitting. The cashier was nice though.

It was a nice Starbucks right inside the door of Target to your right. The drinks are nice slightly over sweet but that's to be expected. Prices are high but it's worth it.

The young barrister made my order, which should have been a cappuccino. HOWEVER, I got in the car and left and found out it was just all milk so she must have made a latte. It was not worth going back since I had already left. This is not good

So today’s was interesting. I don’t normally leave bad reviews.. I ordered a drink, a normal drink, nothing weird.. as soon as the cashier lets the girls know what drink I ordered, they go off on a long and loud conversation about how disgusting my drink is, saying “ew” and how it makes them want to throw up.. I wasn’t the only customer standing there so thought that was pretty unprofessional… they went on about it the entire time I was there. This is really the first time I’ve seen this level of unprofessional behavior, especially at starbucks..

I was in Venice and Google Maps led me to the Starbucks in Target, when I arrived a nice guy making the coffees said he'd be right with me. Unfortunately then a very rude girl took over the cash register and the ordering part, I think her name was Helen I can't remember. I thought part of working at Starbucks was a friendly attitude, but I sure found out I was wrong when she came to take my order! Luckily the nice guy who was making the drinks made mine quite delicious, and was very courteous. So that's why it will get two stars

Love this Starbucks! It's in one of my local Target stores. The staff here obviously enjoy their jobs and each other. They are always friendly and happy to answer questions about drinks and seasonal offerings. Of course, what's not to love about Starbucks, but this location is a special one.

I'm sorry Starbucks... I'm always a fan, you know that. This place has fallen to pieces! Poorly trained staff. My iced coffee is never stirred or shaken. Just handed to me... I'm not a barista. Very rarely do I get a fast food, but today was the day and the only thing I ordered was extra large fries. Fries were cold and saggy! And not even full bag! Check your food when you get it, otherwise you’re going to end up with the crap like I did!

Prices have gone way to high for the value of the food. The sandwiches have more bread and less burger than ever before and the fries are half of what they used to be, plus salty. I surprised that at least this time the drink order was correct. Kudos to them!! I rarely go to McDonald’s because their prices are too high. My husband and I can go have a sit down meal in a restaurant, food that is healthier, for the price of two Big Mac meals.

If I could give no stars, I would. My husband and I ordered at their drive thru and the guy that was taking our order was rude. He wasn't even listening to my husband while my husband was ordering. The guy then keeps shouting "WHAT? WHAT?". My husband was not talking quietly. We asked for Large meals, but was put down for Medium meals. There was no point in correcting the guy because once he started raising his voice, we didn't want to say anything else to him. He was rude at the window too. Then we get up to the window and the girl hands us a Medium Sweet Tea and a Medium Coke. My husband told her we ordered 2 Sweet Teas. The girl insisted that we ordered a Sweet Tea and a Coke. Maybe the guy you have taking the orders shouldn't be taking the orders. This McDonald's has never really been the friendliest, but that entire vibe from the drive thru was just uncalled for. Definitely think the management should look into who's taking orders and giving food to customers. 👍🏻

Why is this McDonald’s so unorganized??? Check cameras at 10:40ish am on 9/27. They make EVERY CAR pull up….. they don’t even know whose order is who’s… this is supposed to be fast food. You order and the cooks hear the order. Start making the food…. By there time I get to the 2nd window with the line barely moving the food should be out! Or maybe a couple minutes waiting for fresh food I totally get it…. But waiting 10 minutes AFTER you paid is unacceptable….

Very dirty. Not being cleaned the booth smelled funny brought are daughter for her birthday last thing we wanted was to sit in a dirty place asked for no onions on burger and got onions alot of salt on fries and unbearable amount. go to a different McDonald's not this one.

Arma was super unprofessional to the gentleman that walked out our food. I wish I got his name to explain how nice he was. Super helpful but unfortunately my family experienced arma being extremely rude and disrespectful. My whole family was shocked. The team needs to be trained better. Very hostile.

On 5/4/2024 at 7:31 am I mobile ordered 2 sausage egg McMuffin meals, one of them without cheese and butter because I’m allergic to dairy. Once I realized my order was wrong I asked the manager if she would kindly redo my order cause it had cheese and was told no because it was a mobile order, I mentioned to her this mistake had happened in the past and I had no issues receiving a redo on my order and she said no and walked away. I promptly shouted for $12 you won’t get my order right ? ($12.48 was what I paid for my order) I had been eating here for months before but no more.

It's been at least a year since I've been to a Smoothie King. They used to have you order at the bar where you come in and then pay at the register. Apparently, now they have you go to the register and pick up at the bar, something I was unaware of as I was not-so-nicely told I'd have to wait in line (a line being 1 person ahead of me). I thought they were talking while I waited...I'm not one of those people who let's 1 bad thing ruin your whole day, but they exist...she could have told me nicer, then tried to be nice afterwards, but too late. Service alone, 2 stars. My smoothie was good.

The ladies here are experts at creating delicious creations! Use the online app to order ahead and pay too! Friendly service and after three visits they knew me by name and preference. A great place to cool off on a hot day.

I have been to all smoothie kings and this one by far makes the worst smoothies. Th3re all ice i think there skimping on their ingredients. I make protein shakes at home and have been for 30 years it tastes like all ice watery no flavor. I will never visit the venice one again. This is my 15th time in a year and always the same watery taste.. please leave a review if you too have experience this in the venice location. Also it's so frozen i can hold it upside down it doesn't come out. Lol no more liquid inside either. It's just pure ice with no flavor.. the girls there seemed like the were told by owner to put way too much ice. I go to others. There nothing like this.. I can't hold it upside down with it not moving......read through other reviews many mentions this one does not taste like other smoothie kings.. leave a review if you experienced this also.

Really yummy food. Can highly recommend. Very close to the Centennial park, so easy to grab lunch here when you are at events in the park. Has plenty of seats inside, a few outside, and a community table that is both inside and outside. The brussel sprouts and sweet potato hash was very tasty. Many gluten free options.

Very nice coffee shop, bar, and eatery in Venice! They have acoustic music from 1-4 on Saturdays and he was very good! The salads were yummy but on the small side for the price. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos with watermelon 🍉 salsa and Chipotle Aoli, and it did not disappoint. Our server was super nice, and service was fairly quick. Not only do they have food, smoothies, and drinks, but they also sell CBD products , hence the name."

I honestly don't understand how this place isn't absolutely packed on a daily basis. Great prices for great food and amazing drinks. Petersburg friendly and people friendly with awesome live music on the weekends! Don't let the Weed leaf scare you, give it a try! If this place was in downtown St. Petersburg, there wouldn't be an empty seat in the house! Bottomless Mimosas are truly bottomless, and the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich is absolutely amazing! Make sure you ask for Kiera at the bar, because she's the bomb dot com.

How did we not know about this place until now?! The food was excellent, and the service was super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the avocado fries, the cranberry walnut salad, and the Caribbean bowl…all very fresh and flavorful. The coffee was great as well. Not only will we be back, this will be one of our favorites in Venice:)

Some nice choices for lunch. Inside or outside seating. A counter inside with cooler air, but also open that looks out. Interesting beverage choices to try. My sandwich was large and yummy! The hash browns would have been perfect but very oily, ask them to drain them, I will next time, cause tasty but not healthy. Nice vibe, clean and friendly.

Jenny was an amazing server! The food and drinks are phenomenal and you can tell she really cares for what she does. She even made a specialty drink to go for my dad who wanted a non-alcoholic beverage. Lots of healthy food options as well. Coffee shop inside is really cute with lots of customizable drinks.

This place has the best gluten free bagels I've ever had. They are also dairy free and have plenty of options for Allergen restrictions besides eggs. The lemonade isn't half bad but it's tarter than I expected. Overall this place is worth a shot visiting at least once.

Had a bagel sandwich with bacon, egg & cheese + garlic and herb cream cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel- it was a decent size bagel with a generous amount of toppings. The bagel was fresh and perhaps a little too soft for our preference and not very spicy for a jalapeño bagel which is why we only gave it 4 stars. The liquid crack coffee (original) was great and had a good balance of flavor without being too sweet. Staff was friendly and establishment was well-maintained and clean.

I stopped in for a slice around 2:30pm on a Friday and enjoyed instant gratification - no line and they only needed to warm it up in the oven. I was surprised, the pizza is quite good. The staff consisted of three younger gals and they were very friendly and helpful. The inside of the place felt new, modern and clean. I'm glad to know this place exists on the island and I look forward to trying their bagels next time!

As someone from New England, I’ve been missing my favorite bagel place from back home and Brew-Za-Bagels absolutely delivered! Their bagels are amazing and instantly brought back that familiar feeling I’ve been looking for.

I went here to pick up a coffee for a co-worker and when I placed my order, I didn't have a lot of confidence in the staff. I soon realized why. Two brunette haired employees were working and after I placed my order, the one pulled out her phone and was showing the other one Facebook. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for my coffee. Another customer came in and ordered a coffee, she got hers right away. Being annoyed at this point, I gently reminded them that I had a coffee too. The one employee (who had her phone out, distracting the other) said "You didn't finish his latte?!" I then received two insincere apologies from the employee that made the coffee. I now see why this location gets so many 1-star reviews. The customer should always come first and if the employees are busy with other customers, I'd be a lot more understanding. When you have two employees standing around watching social media while a customer waits for a coffee, that is the problem. I won't be going back to this "establishment" anytime soon. I will gladly drive out of my way to go to a more professional and respectable Dunkin Donuts where they actually acknowledge and help customers, not just stand around and view social media while others wait.

I bought coffee and asked for another cup with a little more cream so I could cool my coffee down to drink. The female at the counter gave me this tiny cup and sarcastically said, Well I don't know how you're going to cool it down with this". It wasn't just what she said but how she said it. Very rude. Also, my stuffed bagel minis were cold and had frost inside. Not happy.

Absolutely disgusting how they act and talk to their customers. I actually don't think I've ever had a worst experience somewhere. Her little comments and attitude isn't going to fly with someone next time.

Super disappointed in this establishment. My kids really wanted the munchkin bucket, it was a splurge $18 though, that’s insane. On top of it, the sprinkle munchkins were not able to be added- is this for real? There was a sign only one employee working, they should probably pay more because clearly they are not struggling for money. So upset. Wanted to do something fun for the kids, definitely regret this.

I came in here to grab munchkins because they’re iconic with Dunkin. I came in and ordered a bunch and ate them on my way to work. A couple hours later I was puking them out as my co workers that ate some also fell sick to the munchkins. I threw them out thinking they probably weren’t thrown out the night before. Dunkin unfortunately doesn’t have a good reputation in Florida and I hope it changes. I will not be returning to Dunkin😕

The worker a lady with red hair filled my cup to the top with ice and then poured the drink and i finished it within 5 sips and then when i asked if I could get less ice and more drink showing how the cup was full of ice she said no because I already drank it so then I went to go get my other food and she said my other latte that I ordered has been there a while and frustrated I said “mhm” and then she mocked me and this isn’t the only time I have had my cup filled to the top with ice

Brittany was doing a great job running that store on her own. Little bit of a wait, but it's to be expected because she was doing everything herself. Amazing customer service 10/10 she deserves a raise.
