Bar & grill
Located atop the First National Building, 10 South Rooftop Bar & Grill offers a unique twist on Southern classics. This local favorite is perfect for sunset happy hours with its stunning views of the river. The restaurant's menu features a variety of dishes such as shrimp and grits, catfish tacos, pulled pork, crawfish balls, whiskey glazed ribeye, and BBQ half chicken. Additionally, it offers small plates and sides like baked beans and waffle fries.
If you're passing through Vicksburg, 10 South Rooftop Bar & Grill is a must. I arrived in town just before sunset and was looking for a relaxing place to take in the view. ChatGPT recommended this spot, and it absolutely nailed it. Madison, my server, was fantastic—super friendly and spot-on with her recommendations. She suggested the gumbo, and it did not disappoint—rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed after a long drive. Then she talked me into trying the cheesecake, and I'm glad she did. It was massive and incredibly tasty—definitely big enough to share (but I didn’t have anyone to split it with, not that I would have). Between the food, the service, and the rooftop view at sunset, it was a perfect evening. Great drinks, great vibes, and a staff that really cares. Thanks again, Madison!

My wife and I were visiting and told the food and atmosphere was worth going to the roof top. In was very busy, but every staff member took their time out to greet us, as we waited for a table. I had the filet smothered in crayfish tails/sauce, blackened green beans, garlic smashed potatoes, and grilled Cajun shrimp. When I say, "The steak was a top 5 best steak I've ever had", I really do mean it! It was flavorful, melt in your mouth tender, and the crayfish sauce was divine. All sides were delicious as well. However, the shrimp was slightly overcooked (dry). I didn't mind one bit because my taste buds were reaping the benefits of the delectable steak. My wife really enjoyed the large Caesar salad w/ grilled chicken. Nick (our waiter), was great and took care of us throughout the evening. He even talked me into giving the Chef special a try.....thanks Nick! All-In-All, we were very impressed and enjoyed the breathtaking view of Vicksburg and the sun setting over the mighty Mississippi. We will come back!!

Absolutely loved it, a shout-out to Christine, our waitress. You can't beat the view and alone worth the stop, but the food was delicious and appropriate for the sports bar/grill it is. Besides a great menu with lots of choice, they will basically fix anything you want, any way you want, as long as they have the ingredients. It doesn't get any better than that no matter where you go. The place has tons of seating and various views over the city and river, and very family friendly. Highly recommended.
Charles C — Google review
Thanks to Desiree, the hostess for seating us at a great view table! She was very helpful! 💯 to Hannah for being the sweetest and most attentive to her customers! Food is good flavor and large servings! Atmosphere is very cool with roof top views, nice bar area and the BEST customers that bring the fun! 👍💯

I absolutely love love love that I decided to bring my husband here for brunch. The food 10/10 I do recommend. My server was very friendly she helped me find a nice drink that i definitely enjoyed.i had the blacken catfish with parmesan grits and a kool-Aid to drink. The VIEW was a vibe we enjoyed the drinks as well. Most definitely will be back!!!

We stopped by for a few drinks before looking around downtown. Very cool restaurant with an amazing view. Would have been nicer but our server was rude, I guess because we were just having a few drinks in his section... Not sure. Anyways take note as they charged gratuity since we were only drinking at a table. Food looked good from what I saw, my old fashion was ok.
Wyn D — Google review
Anytime you're traveling through Vicksburg, this is a must visit restaurant. Keep in mind they're not open on Mondays. The free appetizers of garlic, salted pretzels and honey mustard really sets the mood for a beautiful sunset and a wonderful meal. The parmesan grits are amazing! Don't forget they're deadly double chocolate bread pudding is a must-have as well.

Great service, delicious food, amazing views. Chris was a very knowledgeable friendly server, providing excellent service. The food was perfect, and arrived quickly. It was nice to sit and enjoy the views of the city from above and catch up with family. Our first visit, but we will return soon.

Produce market
Cafe
The Tomato Place is a small produce market located south of Vicksburg on Highway 61. They offer home cooked food in a quaint setting, with all the ingredients being sourced locally. Meal ideas include sandwiches and salads.
This place has such a relaxing atmosphere. The food is true southern comfort and the freshness cannot be beat. There’s out door seating with flowers all around. If it’s too hot outside then there’s two open room seating areas that have ac. This place is eclectic and fun with food that will make you drive out of your way to get a taste. We ordered the breakfast plate and they did not skimp on any of the meal. Tons of bacon. So much cheese on the grits that you can see the strands stretch as you get a bite. Everything was cooked perfectly as if you were at your Mawmaw’s house. I had to try their biscuits and they were soft and flaky. Partnering this with their honey was the best! Pictures cannot do this place justice. Thank yall so much for the good food and great experience. (We stole a few bites from the plate before the picture)

A Fantastic Breakfast Spot with Amazing Food & Southern Charm! We arrived around 10:30 AM and had one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! We ordered a BLT with fried green tomato and avocado on rye, a side of fried green tomatoes, and the classic combo of eggs, stone-ground grits, bacon, and a biscuit. Every bite was off-the-wall good—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and prompt, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of this place is the vegetable stand with a great selection of fresh, high-quality produce. They also offer some fantastic canned and homemade products that are worth checking out. If you’re looking for a delicious meal with great service and a bit of local charm, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is 5 + star across the board! My husband and I LOVE this place. The staff is amazing. They are so friendly, and work so hard. We enjoyed every time we stopped by. The place offers a variety of delicious food options, that are made to order, along with fresh smoothies that are amazing, desserts, and drinks (the fresh made lemonade is so good). You will be impressed by all they offer at this small local roadside cafe. I have stomach issues, and the fresh fruit smoothies were a saving grace for me during our time in Vicksburg. We love this place so much, we went daily while in town, and agreed it will be our go to stopping place when traveling through the area. As I said, we had several meals, and nothing was short of excellent. Aside from all that, they sell fresh fruit, veggies, plants, homemade jam, homemade pickles, honey, their own sauce that will go on anything, breads, bread crumbs, coffee by the bag; just all sorts of things. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and welcoming. We honestly love it here. Great for any time of day, and is the PERFECT road side stop while traveling. They have seating in the main area (see pics), as well as outdoor seating scattered around. This wasn't our first time here, and we were so impressed that it is still as wonderful as our first visit. Without hesitation, add this place to your trip if you're ever passing through or visiting Vicksburg. If we lived closer, we'd be there regularly.

Amazing! What a cool place to enjoy a meal or snack. Wish I had The Tomato Place in my hometown. The nicest staff and coolest vibe. If I am anywhere near Vicksburg in the future, I will make time for another meal, cool views and southern hospitality.
Michael G — Google review
My wife found this place online. It looked like a quaint little produce store / hip restaurant. Only about 10 tables, which was fine. Produce selection was ok. Wonderful looking tomatoes! The look and vibe was cool. Huge menu, but the food was a big letdown. Burger was dry, overcooked with no flavor on what seemed to be a toasted, flat 2 day old bun. Located in the side of a highway, literally. Overgrown yard. This place has potential, but needs some tender loving care.
Michael M — Google review
The staff here is amazing! Miss Carolyn and Miss Anna were so friendly, generous, and helpful. Hands down, the best tomato sandwich I've ever had. Mac and cheese, cheesy grits, and fried okra were perfect. Not just good. Perfect. We love this place and make it a point to stop every time we're anywhere near Vicksburg.
Chris S — Google review
The Tomato Place is a true hole-in-the-wall gem! Packed with authentic, delicious Southern flavor in every bite. The BLT and cracklings are the favorites for sure—simple, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering. If you’re in Vicksburg, this place is a must. Full of charm, flavor, and local character!
Dj A — Google review
We stopped by on our way back to Dallas and it was such a fantastic stop! The fruit and vegetable selection is great (I’ve never seen produce so big!) & there are a lot of delicious food and drink options to choose from. We got a fried turkey leg, fried green tomatoes, corn, and some fruit smoothies. We left with a full stomach & happy heart - can’t wait to come back!

The Main Street Market is a family-owned diner in Vicksburg, Miss. It features classic Southern cuisine, including gumbo, quesadilla and blackened prime rib dishes, as well as shrimp. The menu changes daily, but the food always tastes delicious.
We had the chef's special earlier today, fried chicken breast with white gravy and pinto beans. It was delicious!
KT D — Google review
This is a cute little cafe. My husband got a cheese steak sandwich. It was delicious. He was not disappointed. I got a blackened chicken club, also very good. Iced tea, soup or salad comes with the meal. If we were staying another day we probably would have gone back. We would have appreciated someone coming around more often to fill up our drinks. Otherwise, we enjoyed it.
Judy G — Google review
While passing through Vicksburg on a Monday we stopped in to eat as this place boasted a 4.8 rating. It is a very quaint old home with just the front room as the seating area. Everything looked tidy. We were greeted when we entered the door and directed to a table for three people. It was quickly noted that although the two servers greeted us, neither one at any time was ever seen smiling. They were pleasant enough but no smiles. An order was placed for a chicken salad sandwich, a cup of the soup of the day, a gyro and a roast beef with aus jus along with drinks. We received our order in a timely manner. Again, no smiles. The server came to check on us again but without a smile. Our food was just okay. It was not bad. We all three agreed we would go back again as it was better than fast food. But it did not match the reviews of excellence in actual taste. We have definitely had great but not here and not today. After sharing each other's meals we determined that the gyro was the best tasting of all three items. But it was not spectacular. Now these little biscuits that were supposed to be so delicious were a real let down. One person in my party is a biscuit expert and they were unimpressed and didn't even take a second biscuit. Usually they are stealing all the biscuits on the table from us without sharing. But not here. I only took one bite and I was done. We will pass on the biscuits altogether next time. We each took a turn at the one stall bathroom and agreed that it looked like it needed a deeper cleaning. There was trash including toilet paper on the floor. Now when it came time to stand in line and pay at the register, that lady was smiling as she took everyone's payments. But, again, she was the only one who smiled the whole time we were there. Very strange indeed. So four stars is all I care to afford across the board. We will try again on another pass through Vicksburg. Maybe today was an off today.

This was my first time here and was not impressed. The service and floks were very nice. I placed a order to go, chicken club with broccoli soup and a salad. The sandwich was ok, I thought it was supposed to be warm, very cold. The soup had good flavor but was so watered down. And the salad did not look fresh, very discolored. So I do plan on going back.We all have bad days.

While visiting Vicksburg we were recommended this place. It was a lovely lunch we were seated quickly and attentive staff and great break from ordinary meat and threes my crispy chicken pita was delicious and tomato bisque was Faboo! My teens enjoyed chicken salad and gumbo and plates were licked clean! Each dish was $10 and included soup or salad. We will be back it’s a pleasant place for a relaxing lunch.

From creative pizzas to classic entrees with a modern twist, the food offerings are diverse. The eclectic menu includes items like patty melts and roasted pork collar with preserved strawberry glaze. Visitors can enjoy fantastic views from the rooftop bar while sipping on classic Mr. Sippi pilsner or cocktails.
Great pizza and amazing beer! We had the pork shoulder, the leek, and the adobo chicken pizza. Each was great. We each had a flight for beer and I was particularly impressed with the moonchild witch had a beautiful coffee flavor yet it was a refreshing light beer. We drove over an hour just to eat here and it was worth the trip Can't wait to go again

A Must-Visit for Beer Lovers and Foodies! We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Their selection of beers brewed on-site is fantastic—there’s something for everyone. Every sip was fresh and flavorful. For dinner, we ordered the Irish pork stew, and it was absolutely incredible—tender, savory, and packed with delicious, hearty flavors. It truly felt like comfort food done right. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great beer, delicious food, and top-notch service.
Tina P — Google review
Fantastic establishment. After reading some reviews talking about poor service I expected the service to be lacklustre. Madison proved the reviews to be wrong. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the beers. The food was exceptional and the steaks were had we cooked just as we ordered, something that is very rare back home. I cannot fault this place. Great food, fantastic beer, amazing staff. Faultless Wish we had establishment like this back in the UK. PS Madison is a great asset to your company

This was our third visit here and to be perfectly honest I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to leave a review. We live out of state and like to visit at least once per year while visiting our son in college. The service is always great & so is the food! Their appetizers are delicious, especially their homemade fries & fried pickles!! The atmosphere is fantastic. They even have a rooftop! We always choose to stay inside though. The waitress even recognized us and knew who we were! That speaks volumes about their service!
Diamond M — Google review
Great food and really good beer! I had the roasted pork collar, and it was delicious. Crispy bits but still melt in your mouth tender. My colleague had the party melt and said it was great as well. I had the bayou shake beer, which was amazing. I was hesitant because sours/milkshake style aren't usually what I like, but it is worth a try!
Tyler C — Google review
Stopped here with the family passing through for our vacation and we were delighted by the flights of beer and delicious pizza. Highly recommend the Mojo Pork Shoulder. The pizzas were perfect to share among 2 people with lots of small plate options (the brussel sprouts were dreamy). Interesting and wide beer selection. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with rooftop seating available as an option.
Laura — Google review
Always a great spot to hang and have a couple delicious and fresh beers. IPAs, sours and lagers hit the spot. The pizza is best in class and the shrimp sopa fideo is a super fun little ramen adjacent bowl of flavors. Free WiFi is a boon! Clean, airy and fun environment as well.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. It maintains high standards of service, cleanliness, and quality food. However, it was recently faced with an issue regarding the closure of the women's restroom due to a cleaning emergency. To handle this situation, one of the managers took charge by allowing one woman at a time to use the men's restroom while guarding the door and creating a line.
Passing through we decided on a safe bet for a good meal. We were tired and we knew this was the place to stop. We were right. Clean interior, friendly and helpful staff and of course the food was excellent. We have stopped at other places in the area in the past, this will be our new goto spot when passing through.

I just waited 15 minutes outside of this establishment for them to open for the morning. They ignored us at the drive through untill 2 cars had came and passed through the outer lane before us. Clearly out of pettiness. So here's the energy returned. Glad I never have to come back. Do better
EnLow G — Google review
Editing this review again because this location just can’t get it together and is always messing up our order. My fiancé ordered a grilled chicken bowl with extra chicken this morning. He received a sausage bowl and no extra chicken that he paid for. By the time he got to work and realized, it’s too late to turn back around to get this order corrected.

Have only been to this location a could times while traveling, it's consistent with others, fresh food, good service, clean facility.
Craig C — Google review
Seriously Chick-fil-A! You were NEVER the place to have to check an order, but from now on, I will -no matter how much it backs up the line. No salad dressing, no straws...and salad lettuce was nasty and way past it's due date. Might be ok for Vicksburg but you are a national chain and people think better.

Diner
Waffle House is a popular American diner chain known for its all-day breakfast and signature waffles. Customers have praised the friendly service and promptness of the staff, as well as the delicious food, such as omelettes and pecan waffles. Some have suggested improvements in menu availability. The chain has received positive feedback on its welcoming atmosphere, management, and attentive staff members. However, there have been some complaints about cleanliness and service at specific locations.
Friendly service, Kayla was attentive and friendly. Food came out promptly, burned toast sandwich. I'm sitting close to bathroom and cook went to restroom and came out quickly so did not wash hands. After that could not finish my food. Server was just complaining about having to train people. Wont come back.
Lorena G — Google review
Satisfied with the location, view, hotel, and restaurant service. After I settled at the hotel, I decided to walk over to the Waffle House. At the restaurant, the host/server was friendly and answered a few questions about the menu. So I decided on their cheeseburger deluxe with a side of hashbrowns. 'Oh my'... I ate in less than 5 minutes. My meal was delicious, and I went straight into a food coma. Later that day, I ended ordering another burger without a side, which is the one in the picture.
Angel — Google review
Great service. Not many people there but there was a constant conversation going on with everyone there...refreshing to see. Ordered two eggs overeasy, hashbrowns, toast, and side of bacon. This is 10.75 when ordered the way I did, there is also a separate menu item for exactly what I ordered listed for 11.75. Save the dollar and add it to the tip.

This is the best Waffle House I've been to. Employees were fun to watch while working together, food was great and so was our waitress Erica.

Early morning visit. Not a great experience. I could go into details about the visit but let’s just say the place was not clean and our food was marginally edible. The restaurant was cold I paid, left my food and walked out to warm up.

Food was good even though the waitress forgot my waffle & burned it. She did make another one. The counter was very dirty this was at 6:00 am I was the only one there. The whole crew was huddled up talking about next week’s schedule. Also got sprayed with water that was a accident & waitress did apologize.

Burger King is a well-known fast-food chain that offers grilled burgers, fries, and shakes. Customers have praised the cleanliness of its locations and the professionalism of its staff. One customer commended the courteous and attentive service received from an employee named Miss Mary. Another traveler was impressed by the exceptionally clean restroom at a Burger King location during a stop on their journey.
The food was warm, tasted good and my order was made correctly and in a timely manner. I didn’t go inside this time but the lot was clean and laid out well. Plenty of room to park and navigate an easy to enter an exit. I gave all those aspects four stars only so that I could give Miss Mary and her all the five stars! She was courteous and well spoken, easily understood, and attentive to my questions. I’d be hard pressed signs any better in our area or otherwise.

I ordered through doordash, and it's not their fault that doordash took forever assigning a driver. But I did message the driver to ask if the food was fresh bc it might have been sitting there a while. He was told that yes it was. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal with the fries/onion ring mixture. The crispy chicken sandwich should have a potato bun, breast fillet, savory sauce, lettuce, tomato. Well they gave me a sesame seed bun, pressed chicken from the old style sandwich with the meat cut in half, and mayo. I have no idea what the stuff was on the side opposite the mayo??? Maybe cheese? The entire sandwich was DISGUSTING! Fries and onion rings stone cold, ice melted making the drink watered down. I've attached photos. They should be ashamed of that sandwich especially!
TONYA N — Google review
Stopped in for lunch on a road trip and it was what we needed, but no more. Bathrooms were fine, not disgusting but not spotless, either. Food was ready in good shape, but the soda stream fountain was out of a lot of flavors, including orange Fanta! Ordered Bacon King and Whopper Jr. meals. Bacon King was great, and very cheesy. Fries were undersalted, though, and the Whopper Jr. had a lot of little weird things; very few sesame seeds, pickle stuck to the bottom of the bun, and a bit of melted cheese on the outside even though ordered without cheese (not a problem for us, but someone with an allergy would not have been happy).
Bryan C — Google review
We typically fixed our own meals at home. I treated my kids to a quick meal for lunch. Oh Lord help us, the fries where good but when I bit into the burger it tasted like old grease. I threw the whole meal away and will never eat here again.

Recently ordered liken fried and mozzarella fries. They were so dried out that they were inedible. Obviously had been under heat lamp for hours. You may have saved a couple of bucks but have lost a loyal Burger king customer.

Angry workers and the wait was long at the speaker. When we arrived to the window, we were asked to back up ad pull forward so we wouldn’t “ mess up his time” Food was not fresh. Won’t be back.

the food is GREAT!! you may have to pull up and wait but it’s always hot and the person at the window has always been nice.

Great experience, and we want to visit again whenever we're in the area. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around and absorbing all the magnificent details. The room... WOW! Spacious, immaculately clean, and so beautiful with those stained glass windows which were amazing to see first thing after waking. Elizabeth and Noelle were so welcoming, and we had an amazing breakfast.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning historic home, and we were blown away by its beauty and charm. The bed and breakfast is a true treasure, with exquisite stained glass windows that filter the light and cast colorful patterns on the floors. The intricate woodwork throughout the house is equally impressive, with beautifully crafted details that showcase the skill of the original craftsmen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plush bedding and luxurious amenities. But it's the little touches - like the stunning stained glass and gorgeous woodwork - that really make this place special. It's clear that the owners have taken great care to preserve the historic integrity of the home, while still providing all the modern comforts you need. The breakfasts were delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. Our hosts were knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to share stories about the history of the home. If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience, we highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and appreciate the beauty of a bygone era. Can't wait to go back!

This 115-year-old mansion has been restored and is a continuing-work-in-progress that just keeps getting better. It was like a journey back in time for me as I'm 80 and this place and neighborhood reminded me of my childhood years. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The highlight of our 3-day stay was breakfast. Each day began with a fabulous breakfast created by Nowell (not sure of the spelling) - unique and delicious - and wonderful conversations with guests from Florida, Pennsylvania (formerly the Netherlands), Tennessee, and Canada were wonderful times to start the day. Elizabeth, the owner, is a great hostess and a very handy handy-lady (we had a little problem that she quickly stepped in and repaired). We will definitely stay here again should we return to Vicksburg in the future.

Oak Hall is a beautiful B&B. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. The bed was super comfortable. We stayed in the Tree Top Room. The pool area is perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were welcoming and gracious. We can’t wait to come back. I’m so glad we picked this one over any of the others in the area. I highly recommend!

This is an incredible Bed and Breakfast. We stopped here for one night, and we immediately wished that we had booked several days. The room was spotlessly clean and well organized. The decor around the house was so enjoyable. There are many places where one can just sit and read or have conversation. We had a good time visiting with the owners who were very friendly and informative. The breakfast on the way out was beyond delicious. Oh yes, and the price is right! We will be back soon to stay at Oak Hall and further explore Vicksburg.

This was our second stay at an Oak Hall property. This trip, we stayed in the recently renovated Lorraine Apartments on Adams Street. It was perfect for our party of 4, with a full kitchen and parking right outside the door. Our first stay was in the Drummond Street “mothership,” which is an incredible restoration of an 100+ year old home. Lots of stairs, but an exceptional experience! Elizabeth is a fantastic host, immediately responsive to every request, and very friendly and accommodating. We will stay at either location on every visit to Vicksburg!

Had a wonderful stay at Oak Hall. The owner is amazing! All staff are welcoming, the rooms have their own restrooms and they are huge! It was perfect for our wedding and made everything run so smoothly. We rented for the entire weekend and I would suggest to anyone to enjoy this wonderful home. There is a pool, everything is kept nice and a wonderful bed of roses that you see in the front. I personally want to go book another stay soon!

My stay at Oak Hill B&B was fabulous. Elizabeth went way out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and settled after I arrived. Beautiful accommodations, very nicely furnished and appointed, and very well maintained. The highlight of the stay was breakfast however, the best quiche I ever had! I also very much enjoyed talking with Nicolle and meeting other guests while having breakfast.

Bazsinsky House is a charming 19th-century guesthouse located in downtown, offering cozy rooms with beautiful river views and whirlpool tubs. The house has a rich history dating back to the 1840s when it was built by Joseph Bazsinsky as a townhouse for his large Jewish family. Over the years, it has evolved into an architectural marvel, reflecting the changing times and needs of its inhabitants.
Came to Vicksburg for work for a week and was so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to stay!!! This house is beautiful with incredibly restored architecture unique to its time period. The rooms are stylishly appointed with period decor, clean, and comfortable. My room had the most incredibly comfortable mattress, and I slept like a baby. The ensuite bathroom with marble countertop is nicely modernized for comfort & had all the necessities. Shower always had great pressure & plenty of hot water. Hospitality is unmatched. The hosts are so warm & welcoming and it was so lovely to have a delicious, warm breakfast every morning. I felt like a queen every day!!! Andrew will go out of his way to make sure you have what you need, and has a very thorough knowledge of the house’s history. I am definitely going to plan a trip back to Vicksburg to see and explore more on a non-work related trip, and I will absolutely be making another reservation to stay at Bazsinsky house!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautifully restored Bazsinsky House which is in a great location within walking distance of downtown Vicksburg. Andrew is an outstanding host and he was so welcoming and helpful. He shared the interesting history of the home with us during the delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing and comfortable visit to Vicksburg. We only wish that we'd been there longer!

A real and unexpected treasure almost like staying in a UK national trust property. Built around 1861 and extensively renovated. They only rent out two giant rooms at a time. The part owner Andrew is a wonderful man who looked after us and cooked breakfast. We could have talked for hours. I have to say this is a great place. My only regret, we only booked one night. Nestled in the heart of Vicksburg, Halpino offers a unique blend of history and comfort. This charming guesthouse, set within renovated law offices, features rooms inspired by renowned Mississippi writers, each adorned with remnants from its legal past. Guests can enjoy modern amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool while soaking up the local culture. Just a short stroll away lies the Lower Mississippi River Museum and Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum, making it an ideal base for exploration.
We love to stay in Bed & Breakfasts when possible and Halpino hit the spot! This was a last minute, one night stay and what a delight! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot had great toiletries. There was an odd smell when we entered, and the location was in a very old section of town, but it did not interfere with a good nights sleep! Breakfast was at the Duff Green Mansion - coffee was superb, food and service was wonderful. It was so nice to not eat off of paper products (hotels). We also had a guided tour of the main level of the mansion. Everything was SO nice. Should we travel to Vicksburg again, believe me - we will return!!

This is a very nice place . Very clean and friendly staff. They go out of their way to help you. They also serve complimentary breakfast for their customers. People visiting Vicksburg should stay here. It’s very close to town and Vicksburg National Military Park. Also you can see Mississippi River and four Casinos close by. Don’t miss out the beautiful Vicksburg Bed and Breakfast.

Where do I even start! The host went above and beyond to help 3 military soldiers stay in a bed and breakfast that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Halpino is a historian/writers dream come true! It’s a fun place to stay that allows you to stay in fun and quirky themed rooms! I recommend Tennessee Williams Room! If your boring and lack a fun bone in your body go stay in a hotel/motel! But if you’re looking for something outside the box please stay here! Newly furnished beds were soft and amazing along with antique furniture that brings a feeling memories of growing up in your grandparents house! It’s the perfect combination of going down memory lane along with comfort that allows you to truly relax! A touch of modernization of TVs, ice machine, and amazing breakfast at the main bed in breakfast made this perfect combination of history and comfort well worth the stay! I plan on staying here every time I pass through Vicksburg, MS!
Bryan H — Google review
Halpino is a small guesthouse in renovated law offices. The rooms are all named after and themed after writers from Mississippi, and retain some decorations from legal offices, which is a nice touch. Rooms are nicely appointed, with comfortable beds and coffee facilities on site. It is owned and run by the owners of the Duff Green Mansion, also in Vicksburg. Halpino is located in the historic district of Vicksburg. This area is actually pretty run-down, with many dilapidated houses, but isn't unsafe. It is a short walk to downtown and 300 yards from the Duff Green Mansion. I'm not sure if it just an off-season perk, but our booking at Halpino included breakfast and a tour of the Duff Green Mansion, which was an unexpected bonus. The owner shared with us the history of the building, her passion for the buildings and for Vicksburg was evident. All of these inclusions made Halpino an unexpected delight. Most visitors I imagine would book the Duff Green Mansion, but Halpino is a great option if that is booked or for more budget travellers. I'd definitely stay here again if visiting Vicksburg.
Dana F — Google review
Charming series of rooms affiliated with the Duff Green Mansion B&B located in former law office in historic Downtown Vicksburg. The large Madam CJ Walker room features a beautiful bathroom. Unfortunately the room does not have individual temperature control (only a central thermostat for entire building and all guest rooms). Further, there is no mini refrigerator, no microwave, no ice maker, and no coffee/tea maker, no closet, no wardrobe, no toiletries amenities etc. Lastly, the lighting includes overhead fluorescent light fixtures (including the carcassof a dead roach), reinforcing the former office history. So limited charm and functionality. The location is two hilly blocks from the Duff Green B&B and far removed from the old town shops and dining places. Lastly, the service from the B&B staff is underwhelming. BTW the complimentary breakfast not served until 8:39 am Disappointing 😞
Len D — Google review
I can't recommend this place highly enough - we stayed in the John Grisham room which was spacious with a super comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean with a large walk in shower. It's a remodelled law office with a really original vibe. Great location with restaurants and museums within a walkable distance, and free parking. Breakfast at Duff Green Mansion was fabulous.

I tried to book a room at the Duff Green Mansion for a weekend getaway, and it was completely booked for a wedding weekend. The owner suggested I stay in her new property, Halpino. Halpino is located close to Vicksburg’s Historic Downtown which is loaded with amazing restaurants and nice places for shopping! The area was well-lit and parking was close to the front door. I will definitely be back to stay here again!

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a charming chain restaurant that offers classic American comfort food and features an on-site general store. Located in various locations, it provides a homey dining experience with a touch of nostalgia. The restaurant is known for its delicious fried chicken and Mississippi classics served at the lunch buffet. Customers can also enjoy friendly service from attentive waitstaff who ensure a pleasant dining experience.

I always stop by the retail store to buy l personalized gifts for me and unique pieces for special guest. Stop by anytime for great service and food.

I eat at a lot of Cracker Barrels. For the Vicksburg Cracker Barrel, tell the cooks to slow down & take care of the food. We asked for extra crispy bacon and we had to send it back. My pancakes came out burnt & all I smelled with every bite was burnt. My scrambled eggs (which are a premium these days) were runny & I had to threw some away. Previous Cracker Barrel (in Amarillo) I had the Chicken Pot Pie and this wasn't near as good as it could be with just a little tweak. The potatoes were too soft. Needed more vegetables (including potatoes) & less gravy.
Paul L — Google review
Our waitress was just no into customer service. We definitely weren't her priority. We won't be back to this Cracker barrel. The guy at register was on his personal phone trying to text and ring up customers. Just a overall bad customer service... my bacon barely was cooked. We waited to be served and waited for our drinks and food along time.
Tracy S — Google review
Absolutely garbage. Cook can't make a steak correctly, 3 different times. Service was absent. After sending the steak back 3 times and being told the meal would be discounted, it wasn't. The steak was not seasoned, and the meat is old. 20 dollar dog food. Absolute joke of a cracker barrel.
Charles L — Google review
Went for breakfast before having to go for an important meeting. We were seated and the server, (i think her name was Janice) discovered we were new to the area and started to tell us about the town. She was charming and delightful. She took our orders right away and we settled in. Except she was waylaid by the manager on duty, who started to yell at her about having taken our orders when it wasn't her area. The poor server tried to explain (she had only recently started working here) That nobody had told her which section was hers today, and that she'd asked but nobody had answered. The manager was so loud the entire restaurant could hear, front and back. Other servers stopped working to watch and customers looked up from their plates. The server was on the verge of tears, and finally put in out order after the manager stomped away. And i do mean STOMPED away, slamming doors. The server went to her section and we didn't get a chance to talk to her again. But then, our food never arrived. 47 minutes after we sat down we decided to go ahead and leave. We couldn't stay any longer or we'd be late. So we went to the front counter to request a reciept and pay for the drinks, as they had been delivered promptly and we had completely finished them. The cashier made a few calls on the radio and some other servers came out and claimed our food was on the table waiting. We never saw it. And we aren't blind. They asked if we wanted it to go, and I said sure maybe we can eat the pancakes and eggs after the meeting. 6 minutes later the boxes were brought to us and we paid for the meals and left. Yall. The eggs were raw. The whites were slightly stiff but gooey and the yellows were just... raw. They had leaked down the side of the box and made a mess of the bag and the carpet. The pancakes were essentially dumped Into the container, with no syrup no nothing but a single strawberry and cream. The sausages smelled off and they were rubbery... It looked like dog vomit. It stank like bad milk. My husband's food box fared no better. Now I agree some of that may have been from transferring the food to the container. Nothing can be expected to be picture perfect in a to go box. But... this was nothing like what I was expecting, and I could not have eaten this even when it was fresh. I don't believe the food appeared at the table right after we left. I suspect the food was hastily prepared after we attempted to leave in an effort to spare them the bad review. But based on the way the manager treated the server alone, this place would have gotten the bad review anyway. No manager should dress down a server in public like that- there was no request for an explanation, no leadership method of teaching, just straight to shouting. Anybody who was new could have made that mistake And im angrier about her mistreatment than anything else. Uncalled for, disrespectful, poor management.
J W — Google review
We are FANS of Cracker Barrel! On a trip from NC to East TX, we stopped twice. However, this particular location is LACKING. Not sure if the store manager was tasked with cutting his budget, or he is trying to increase profits by cutting quality, but he or she sure has done so. 1. The restroom smells like urine. IT SMELLS LIKE URINE. Clean your restrooms with an actual disinfectant, put up an air freshener or something!!! GROSS! 2. Are there not standards for Cracker Barrel recipes? I almost always get the Fried Chicken salad. Ordinarily it is perfection. At this restaurant, however, there was a decidedly less amount of crunchy, fresh lettuce. It was a sad collection of lettuce that included the parts of the head of lettuce we all normally throw out, that are turning brown; and there was about 1/3 less salad. The tomatoes, cucumber, and croutons were standard, but the chicken was a greasy thigh instead of a breast. It was slapped on the salad without being cut. It looked NOTHING like the pictures on the menu. This salad normally has an egg that is sliced and placed on top. They just took the egg out of the cooler and plopped it on top. In addition to the smaller portion, there was little attention to detail in its presentation. These dishes are a standard at Cracker Barrel! One pays $12.00 for a salad, it’s not too much to expect that there will be at least a consistently good dish wherever we eat it. To top all this fiasco, they didn’t have biscuits ready. By the time ours were brought out, we were finished. This was NOT a good experience; however, the waitress was good. CLEAN THE LADIES’ RESTROOM!!

This review is only for this location. We were so disappointed. We have been traveling and wanted to eat breakfast. When we arrive they were not busy. If you ever eaten at Cracker Barrel, you will know that a lot of times they are very busy and you have to wait or be paid put on a waiting list to be able to be seated. We got lucky we got seated right away. There were only 7 tables with guest eating or waiting. Our waitress did not come check on us. I literally had to get up and go asked the hostess if she could find her and let her know that we needed more coffee and I needed a straw for my water she had disappeared . Finally our waitress came out with our food. My eggs were cold and over cooked. I asked for scrambled soft/ light and the pancakes were gross too. Spongey pancakes.. The cook(s) are not good during this. My husband food was cold too. I can’t recommend anything since my food was no good.

Shoney's offers diner style service with all-American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is hot and fresh, and the flavors are delicious. Some suggestions for improvement include better lighting in the restaurant and ensuring that everything is cleaned during down time. However, if crumbs and finger smudges don't bother you, Shoney's can be a good buffet option on the early side of lunch rush.
The food was hot and fresh. It was also flavorful. Even the cold salads were good. The fruit was fresh also. My only suggestion is to improve the lighting in the restaurant and to make sure to clean all the booths and Windows during down time. But if crumbs and finger smudges don't bother you...this place is a good BUFFET option on the early side of the lunch rush.

The food was cold. Not a big selection for the price. The service was great. I will not eat there again.
Big P — Google review
Just ate breakfast here, I always love to eat at Shoney's, but this experience wasn't the best. They open at 6 a.m. we got there at 6:20 a.m. the food should have at the very least been fresh and hot. No, it was cool, not cold, not warm. So I can tell either it wasn't fresh cooked or their table wasn't working right. The eggs were hot. Our server was not as attentive as most Shoney's have. She wasn't unfriendly, not nice, just 'I'm here today'. The floors are sticky and are in need of a good scrub with clean water. Not a big selection at the bar either and that wouldn't bother me if everything didn't taste like it was cooked in old grease to me. In my opinion, the person who owns this Shoney's needs to come in and revamp. It could be a great place to eat. I recommend eating somewhere else, I wish we had waited for Jackson.
Ozark L — Google review
Gave it a 1 because staff was friendly, however the food was less than satisfactory. The place could use a good cleaning. We ate about 5:30 pm so expected fresh food. Maybe we were too early, most of it was dry and flavorless. Lots of seafood which is challenging to serve buffet style. Hubby tried it, I stuck with the salad bar. Ate here only because it was next to our motel. Will drive further next time we go through.

Asked waitress for more tea and never got it. Another employee had been sitting and talking to another customer the whole time we had been there. This employee went to the back and got some fresh lettuce for the customer she had been talking to. When she came back the customer said that's too much,so she got up and got a salad plate and reached into the plate employee brought out with her hand and got what she wanted and employee then dumped the rest of the lettuce into the salad bowl on the salad bar. REALLY??? She saw the look on my face and asked if she could help me. I told her no. When getting to the register she came up to ring me up and I told her my ticket was wrong. The waitress only charged for 1 buffet not 2. I paid for the 2 buffets but the food was all way overcooked and the boneless grilled chicken breast you could not even chew it, it was so hard. Use to like to eat there but NEVER AGAIN.
Mitzi K — Google review
Marilyn served me well. Came here at 12:45pm. Buffet was good. Okra & tomatoes always good. So was the steamed cabbage. Pinto beans were OK. Catfish good. Corn on cob very good. Mashed potatoes good, but gravy a little salty. Dessert was fried chicken, always look forward to it.
Quentin Q — Google review
Absolutely horrible. First time here and I'm never coming back. Nasty tables when they sat us down, wasn't even cleaned. First, the waiter gave me a used straw for my drink. Then I asked for sweet tea. Waited forever for it and when I got it, it wasn't even remotely sweet. I ordered there "signature" 8oz steak, ordered medium rare, and came back well done... twice. After I complained about the steak she took it with an attitude. Tasted horrible. After all that, I asked for a refill for my "sweet tea" and she took it and never came back for twenty minutes. When calling out for a waitress they just look at you and keep walking. Shut this crap hole down. You call this place a restaurant? How is this place even open? If you are reading this, please go elsewhere.
Brent C — Google review
The waitress Marilyn is one of the best. Service was great. Meal was alright. Had a long fake whitish blond hair in my salad. Which was gross. Saw the lady with the hair putting food out. They should've been wearing hair nets. Accidents do happen so I didn't say anything but just be careful.

Waffle House is a popular American diner chain known for its all-day breakfast and signature waffles. Despite mixed reviews, many customers have had positive experiences at various locations. Some praise the friendly service and delicious food, while others appreciate the bustling yet welcoming atmosphere. The chain's consistency in providing good service, cleanliness, and tasty meals has also been highlighted. Overall, Waffle House seems to offer a reliable dining experience with classic American fare in a casual setting.
Waffle House is always a go to when we ate traveling and want a quick hot meal. The food is always good and served right off the grill. The employees are always polite and effortlessly. Typical Waffle House. It was close to our hotel so we walked. Wasn’t busy. Staff was friendly and food came in good time. However, this restaurant was filthy. Like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Crumbs and sticky substances all over the tables and chairs.

Food was good but when we arrived at 6:30am door was locked and they told us to wait five minutes which we didn’t mind. Being that 6:30 is a normal breakfast time the crowd built up pretty fast outside. we were the first people to walk in. We sat at the counter, but for some reason our order got taken last and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food.

Upon arriving at this Waffle House located in Vicksburg, Mississippi we noticed what looked to be like an employee/staff meeting being held. They were nice and said take a seat wherever you like. We started to sit down but EVERYTHING was filthy and dirty. The grill, the floors, all of the counter tops, EVERYTHING was filthy so we didn’t order. We told them that we decided to go elsewhere and we left. We do NOT recommend this location due to how dirty everything is and are surprised that they are allowed by the city/county/state to remain open.

The reason for the empty plates, is because I ate everything I was served! Grits were great! Everything else was par for the course at a Waffle House! Server was friendly. Had a fantastic time! Anissa Hampton put on a very good show! The entire evening was a whole vibe. The drinks were ALL reasonably priced. And the best part it was a Free show!! Most definitely will be looking out for her again!

Our room was very nice, quiet, and mostly comfortable. We complained that the air conditioner was not functioning as it should. It was set at 61 degrees all evening and through the night, but the actual temperature felt more like 75+ degrees. We are hot-natured and prefer a cold room. Except for the warm room, everything was wonderful. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. The representative at the front desk made a note of our AC complaint.
Leanne J — Google review
Easy to find and we loved the river view from our room. As a measure of security we liked that you needed your room key to access the elevator from the 1st floor. We reserved a King Parlor room, the room was spacious, there was a jet tub in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Only giving a 3 star for the room and 2 star for service because the walls seem to be thin. We were able to hear the people in the room next to us and the 'sounds' coming from their room. The toilet seat had a few yellow spots on it and the wash rag on the shelf by the jet tub was damp. We cleaned the toilet seat ourselves because it only took a few minutes and after traveling for hours we just wanted to relax and chill out, so we figured it would take less time to clean it ourselves than calling the front desk and asking for a different room or asking them to send someone to clean it. We did mention the issues to the front desk clerk when we checked out the next morning.

Rooms are very nice and it's a great price for what you get. They also have a great little restaurant in the casino. Stayed here for a work trip and it worked out great. If you get a river side room the view is also fantastic. It's also no children allowed which is a plus when you're travelling for business so there is less noise. The one con is there is no microwave in the hotel rooms.
Lorantz R — Google review
The view from the hotel room overlooking the Mississippi River was the best part by far. The property is very dated. They claimed they updated the rooms but it looks like they just added some paint and luxury vinyl flooring. The hot tub did not work and nobody utilized the pool which made us think twice as well. The staff was pleasant though. As for the casino, there were plenty of games and promotions but it was extremely smoky. This left our clothes and hair smelling like an ashtray after just 20 minutes of playing. Most of their staff were engaging as well. Location was close to enough to get anywhere by car in 5-10 minutes. Spent a day at the Vicksburg National Military Park which was well worth a few hours. I can’t compare to other places in Vicksburg but this did not meet our standards for quality but it was priced right for value.

Sorry excuse for food. They messed up taking away the buffet, quick service, and sit down restaurants-leaving only a poor excuse for food. Bring back the restaurants. Stop the riff raff and make the comps appealing to people who don’t want to buy a nasty hot dog. Shut the doors and open a better class establishment or bring back the amenities so you don’t feel like you are going to catch something just walking through the doors. Back years ago, this was a fun place But now it is run down and disgusting.

2nd time here. Beautiful location on the waterfront. Rooms comfortable, tv way to small, especially when 75 inch screen is now $400. Could use some updating and the aroma in the hallways is a bit strong. Staff were super nice. Casino was fun, but a bit chilly. Decent slot variety and has tables. Cost is reasonable. Fun stay would visit again
Laurie G — Google review
Made a reservation online. I’ve stayed here before and had a good experience. Upon check in I was informed we could not stay due to minors traveling in our group. We had already unloaded our luggage. Front desk staff reported it’s due to guests leaving their children unattended while the parents go to casino. It would have been important to inform me of that before booking and planning our travel accommodations. I’ve never encountered this type of rule at others casino hotels. Hotel staff said it’s listed in fine print on the reservation website. Disappointing experience.

Bovina Cafe offers a variety of homemade Southern dishes at great prices. The lunch plate is a fantastic deal, including a meat and three sides with a drink and dessert. Customers have praised the accommodating staff and the delicious homemade food, particularly highlighting the ham and cheese sandwiches and cheesecake. While some have found the food to be greasy on occasion, others have raved about their hot and tasty meals.
I came for lunch and immediately was greeted and waited on. The vibe in this cafe is great! It’s very welcoming and the food is fresh cooked, hot and made to order. My mom got the chicken and dumplings, and my Dad got the vegetable plate. We all cleaned our plates!! I got the BLT on wheat bread toasted and it was so tasty. They are generous with the bacon. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. I absolutely recommend having breakfast or lunch here. This was my first time but definitely not my last. I’d absolutely drive here again to eat. It has that safe haven feeling that home has. It’s really nice.
Melody B — Google review
Good southern food with friendly local peeps! They have daily specials and it happens to be a fried catfish day on Thursdays when we are there. The fried catfish is well-seasoned with cajun spices, and it comes with 3 sides of your choice, drinks, and dessert for only $13. Almost all customers ordered the same thing except for the father with 2 young kids in another table. They ordered cheese burgers and it looks good, greasy-looking buns with melted cheese. The only thing I noticed that needs to improve is the cleanliness of the place and the outdated fridge for desserts.
KT D — Google review
The people are nice, the atmosphere is home town. This makes you think the food will be great... well here's where the disappointment begins... (Lunch) at 12:30pm the main entree is out... it was catfish that I'll never get to talk about. The string beans taste as if poured straight from the can. The Mac & cheese had very little cheese to mention. The turnip greens, out! Creamed corn, nah... Lima beans, ok... I'm a big guy that loves food and really hard to disappoint, but this place was a disappointment for lunch. To be fair, a couple local individuals came and ordered from the hot order menu and their food looked appealing.
Julius L — Google review
1st time being there , nobody to greet us , but they were working in the kitchen ! The food was good and the price was good ! And maybe it’s different than what I’m use too ! I don’t want to hurt anyone’s business ! When we are traveling , we try to support the mom and pop shops !

We just had lunch and the whole place was very dirty. Black eyed peas were good and my husband liked the lemon pie. Very friendly but the whole place needs a good cleaning!!
Lynda P — Google review
Nice little diner with good food and excellent prices.
Alan P — Google review
The food here is wonderful and it's a very good deal...the plates are priced very fairly because you get to pick your main course, two sides, corn bread or a roll, a salad, a drink and a dessert, all for only $9.00! If you've never stopped in this little cafe off of the Bovina exit just inside of the Warren County line, then be sure to make a point to do so. It will be well worth it. You'll be more than satisfied and eager to return. Note, the hours are from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Saturday and I believe they're going to start serving supper on Friday evenings now.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain famous for its burgers and fries. Customers can use the mobile app to order ahead or utilize the in-store kiosks for quick service. The staff is generally friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and hot. Visitors often praise the cleanliness of the restaurant and appreciate the efficient service, even during busy times.
Very clean restaurant. Food was great and the service was awesome. Staff is polite and helpful. It's a little bit off the interstate but well worth it. I don't normally review fast food restaurants but I have to here. Highly recommend this location.

Drive thru line was really long and we had to wait for few minutes. When we reached the cashier, he asked us to move forward and wait for them to bring our food to the car. Waited over twenty minutes, no food. I went inside to ask about my order. They all stared at me like I was doing something wrong. Then they started arguing amongst themselves. One lady said, I never got that order. No one even said, I am sorry. The manager went and started making the sandwich. I had to wait till they made my order. I was really upset because it looked like no one cared they made a mistake. They were really grouchy. The reason I go to this McDonald's is because I want to shop in our town, supporting local businesses. Today I bought some spicy chicken sandwiches, they are old and hard. Can’t even eat it.
Sashikala F — Google review
Went through drive thru to get some drinks and the girl in the first window that took the money did not get her name extremely rude grab the money out my hand her cell phone was ringing so she answered her cell phone while I was giving her my money then she forgot how much I gave her totally disappointing!!
Dawn B — Google review
Placed a mobile order and went to pick it up. They claimed they did not have the order, but my app stated the order was completed. I was fully charged for this order, payment was completed and no longer pending. Someone in the business office called me when I left a complaint & they stated I should be refunded within a week. Two weeks later, still no refund and I’ve been charged. This location steals your money.
Ashlynn F — Google review
The service is slow. It took eight minutes to get my order. Someone else walked in, maybe 3-4 minutes after me places an order. Not even five minutes they have their order and are on their way out the door. They might be prioritizing specific people over others. No clue. Not to mention I have gotten an undercooked burger and burgers saturated with salt. Not to mention burnt bacon.

The Waffle House in is a popular diner that offers American eats and all-day breakfast. The restaurant was open late and the food was good for a fair price. The service was quick and the food was made fresh, but it took a long time. Overall, the experience was positive and I recommend this location.
Great restaurants visited once late night and the waitress was friendly. We ordered the egg bacon bowl and pecan pancakes - everything was excellent. For the price this restaurant is amazing because it combines great food with great service

I havnt stopped puking. I ate a bacon egg and cheese bowl and a waffle this morning around 830ish this morning and since 2 I can't stop puking and that's all I've consumed. The place was disgusting and I'm wondering if they're serving bad food. I feel awful. Also stir clear of the old white lady. She's rude adds her own tip if you don't tip and doesnt communicate with her customers. Terrible experience 😪
Chass L — Google review
This was one of the worst waffle houses ever. We should have left, but I had 2 grands with us. So first the place is ugly. Old stuff, dirty floors, and waitress was dirty. The bathrooms had no toilet paper. So we get our food, poor presentation. We ordered extra bacon, and it came out cold. The waitress got us fresh. But the employees just was a sad bunch. The tea wasn't good either. The health score is a B, I guess cause no one knows what cold temperatures should be, etc. Will not go back. Oh, at least the cooks wore gloves. Reading other reviews, we all agree this is a nasty place, and don't come on here and tell me you'll correct the problem cause you haven't done anything yet after these reviews. The place needs to shut down.
Cindy D — Google review
Wasn't a real pleasant experience. Waitress wasn't exactly rude but wasn't friendly either. Acted like she would rather not wait on us. Food was delicious but the place was not clean. Nor were they keeping up with the mess. This is the waffle irons which we sit across from in my picture below. Irons were filled to overflowing and left. I also felt like we being discriminated against because we were Caucasian.

One of those unorganized locations where you're completely ignored at the bar seating if you're by yourself cause they would rather serve the full table families on a busy sunday morning. At least I got to reach having a drink of water though I guess but thats it

Miss the old setup in this location with the play area. Doesn't open 24 hours anymore. Only the one by Walmart does. Service is good, every smile in the morning . place is clean. No complain. It was nice that they bring us food.

1-14-2000 early lunch time. I like the old-school feel to the building on the outside with the arches. On the inside of the location felt modern and clean. The food did not taste all that great. The nuggets tasted dry and extremely crispy and the burger taste like it has been sitting out for a while. I’m not sure if the quality of the food is like this all the time at the location but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt because of how the location looked and felt. I would try this location again.

I don't often review McDonalds, but this one was so nice and clean that I thought it was important to let them know it was appreciated.I give them a "Clean Bathroom Award"!. We were driving all day and needed a coffee and potty break. We only had coffee and a Sundae and they were perfect. The restaurant decor is nicer than most McDonalds and the staff was friendly. There are outdoor picnic tables too!

We were traveling through and needed to use the restroom. The gas station down the street had a bathroom that was out of order, so the next place to stop was this McDonald's. We got there just before closing and we went in to use the restroom. My husband got out before me and the girl working drive thru (the one with long bright red braids) yelled at him and said "Lobby is closed!" My husband then said "No, it actually looks like it JUST closed" (because it was right at 11pm at that time). After I got done we left the restaurant and proceeded to the drive thru. We were met by that same girl. We explained that we wanted 2 #7s with no pickles, medium fries and large Hi-C orange for both of them. She only entered in one. We had to explain that we wanted 2 the exact same way. She finally got it. We get to the window and she hands us one drink and closed the window. My husband waved his hand and said "What about my other drink?" She said,"I gave it to you"...I showed her the one she just gave us and she turned to her right to see she had yet to hand us the other one. First off, we read the hours of operation, but we had been driving from Georgia and needed to use the restroom. We were going to go in and out, like we did. We're not ignorant nor illiterate. Second, when you hear someone say the want 2 of the same order that means exactly that...not sure if she's going through something or if maybe she needs some help, but luckily we don't live anywhere near here and we won't ever have to come back to this place. Hope everything works out for yall if you decide to stop at this one 🤷🏼‍♀️
Haylie M — Google review
Drive Thru service was very disappointing. The team member greeted us and began taking our order...then, dead silence. Not a single word after we ordered our first meal. We had multiple orders to place and were a little confused. We waited politely a few moments. After prolonged silence, we attempted to say hello and ensure they were still there. Nothing. It was bizarre. We backed up, pulled through the other lane, and a woman with a slight antagonist tone said, "Place your order. We tried to mention the incident with other lane to ensure they were aware of possible technical issues. She seemed to ignore our comments and didn't acknowledge anything we said. She didn't tell us the total & just said pull around to the first window. Stated costs, took our payment, and never spoke a word. Similiar experience at pickup window. Food was typical McDonald's, but experience was disappointing and honestly a little strange.

There were 3 customers in here when we got here. They quickly left, leaving us the ONLY people inside for at least 30 minutes. Restrooms: disgusting. Vomit on counter and in sink (pic after I rinsed it out), and trash on floors and counters. Urine across the floor around urinals- At least they had a “wet floor” sign. Overflowing trashcans. No soap. No paper towels. Couldn’t even put door handle on straight. Dining area: disgusting. Not a clean spot or table. Trash everywhere, even across soda and condiment area. Entire floor felt like walking/sliding across grease. Again, we were the only people that ordered while we were there, with two cars through the drive through and it still took 30 minutes to get our food. Biscuits and bagels were as hard as rocks (it was broken in half and yes, I cleaned the table after hammering the rock on the table). I even cleaned our table and other tables after we ate. Obviously, they were too “busy” to clean anything. I mean, it is McDonalds but still! I never eat at McDonalds but it was a dang road trip. Never again.

Then get a no2 n the sausage all dried out n muffin hard as a rock been cooked or microwave more than once . Worst sandwich ever then I see my husband's steak bagel was burnt to a crisp u real. Mcdonald should be ashamed N they will be when I report this to headquarters! I eat at McDonald's several times a week never been to worst one.

We used the kiosk to order, and that went well. (I think the McDonalds app is the worst app on my phone. ) Server tried to tell me that a regular burger was a quarter pounder. Not my first quarter pounder, so I disagreed. She eventually brought me a real quarter pounder. The sandwiches were sloppily put together. The fries were cold. The shakes were good, but not full. This is a poorly run restaurant. I do not plan to return.

Yall….the bread!!! Omg, just thinking about it has me drooling. The ingredients are so fresh! Whoever makes the biscuits needs a raise! My friend got the chicken sandwich with all toppings but tomatoes and said it’s one of the best sandwiches and he’d bad $20 just for that alone. I got to try the last bit and can confirm. This place should be busier!!!!

A Cozy Spot with Friendly Service This little bakery was the perfect spot for a quick breakfast near where we were staying. We ordered a sausage omelet with onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers, as well as three scrambled eggs with a biscuit and bacon. While the meal itself was simple and satisfying, what really stood out was the warm and friendly service. The staff made us feel welcome, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a pleasant start to our day. If you're looking for a convenient breakfast spot with great hospitality, this place is worth a visit!
