Krupówki is a nostalgic cobblestone thoroughfare in Zakopane, Poland, known for its charming shops, restaurants, and horse-drawn carriage rides. It's a major national media spot and home to the largest exotic parrot zoo in the province. Away from the noisy Krupówki Street with free parking, this zoo on Droga do Olczy Street 11 offers an impressive variety of beautiful parrots.

Very beautiful and must visit street in Zakopane. It had cafés as usual and some fancy art and jewellery shop. There is a carriage ride as well (though super expensive). Nice vibe in the evening with tourists

This is a must visit street. It's the main street in Zakopane and its center. Lots of shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are many Halal food and Western food. There is only McDonald's as a fast food restaurant. Youust try the ice-cream many shops with many flavors. Prices are reasonable, and the kids love the gifts of shops. You must visit this street. Highly recommend.

The Tatra Museum, located in Zakopane, is a charming 19th-century cultural institution that offers a wealth of knowledge about the Tatra Mountains and Podhale region. With 11 branches, it provides an immersive experience into the artistic creation and cultural heritage of the area. Visitors can explore ethnological information, art, natural history exhibits, and traditional highlander cottages showcasing everyday utensils and handicrafts.
I highly recommend to visit this museum in the beginning of your trip to Zakopane! It's the perfect introduction to Tatra region culture and wildlife. We really enjoyed the whole experience and learned a lot. Staff was very friendly and helpful :)
Aleksandra S — Google review
As I read from another comment, I strongly recommend to visit the Tatra Museum before you do anything else in Zakopane. A brief overview of the lives and the history of Podhale region. Get an idea of why this place is so much different from other places in Poland.
Pingyuan C — Google review
This museum turned out to be a real gem — much more interesting than we expected. It is one of the oldest regional museums in Poland, founded in 1888 to showcase the culture and art of the Podhale region. The exhibitions are spread over several floors: the ground floor features a historical and ethnographic section, the first floor is dedicated to natural history, the second floor hosts temporary exhibitions, and the third is reserved for staff. The displays are rich and thoughtfully arranged, with many interactive elements that bring the experience to life. One of the highlights is the reconstruction of a traditional highlander house interior — visitors can listen (in Polish or English) to stories about the layout, furnishings, customs, and everyday life in the “white” and “black” rooms. The narration, accompanied by traditional music, helps vividly imagine what life was really like in such a home. The natural history section is equally engaging, offering insight into the geology, flora, and fauna of the Tatra Mountains. While we’re usually not fans of stuffed animals, the taxidermy here is of high quality and gives a close-up look at the region’s wildlife — including bears, wolves, lynx, and birds of prey. Overall, this is a very well-curated museum and definitely worth a visit, whether you're interested in regional culture or simply looking for a deeper understanding of the Tatra region.
Anna K — Google review
We decided to visit it to understand a bit about the Tatra mountains. It was a pleasant surprise. 1. They have cloak rooms, and lockers that helped us to store our rainwear. 2. The audio guides(purchased separately/not included in ticket) helped us immensely. 3. 99% artifacts had English translation. 4. They have arranged the artifacts on two floors. First floor showcases history of Zakopane, the second floor showcases Tatra mountains. 5. The staff was polite and efficient. While we liked the Zakopane history section, we loved the Tatra exhibition. The stones are arranged in chronological order and gives a glimpse of how the geology evolved. The two videos on large screens are helpful in case you don't have audio guides. The best part was juxtaposition of animals(exhibits) and leaves in ascending order of altitude. Geology enthusiasts can spend an entire day here, while noobs like me can easily invest 3h.

Bit boring like a museum should be, but informative. Up stairs is a nice little coffee place.

Tatra National Park in Poland is a vast mountainous area offering lakes, caves, and diverse wildlife. It spans 215 km between Poland and Slovakia, featuring attractions like Lake Morskie Oko, Gubalowka Mountain, and Kasprowy Peak. The park boasts waterfalls, valleys, and skiing opportunities. Nestled within the High Tatras mountain range in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, it includes peaks such as Rysy at 2,499 meters.
It is a stunning destination for nature lovers and hikers. the park offers breathtaking views and well-maintained trails for all skill levels. It’s a peaceful retreat with opportunities for wildlife spotting. Its a memorable outdoor experience.
Saif R — Google review
Agree with other reviews, that place is truly beautiful and accessible, even though it's around 8km one way to Morske Oko. However, parking is expensive and toilets are not free( except honey buckets) , so make sure to bring some cash. It was a little bit chilly at the top( at the beginning of May), bring some warm clothes with you and grab some snacks.
Iryna — Google review
Mountains have breathtaking views. Cable car was a less than 15 minutes to the top. Definitely worth the time and hike. Dress accordingly and wear proper shoes. Highly recommend visiting on a clear sunny day. Note: they charge for bathrooms, however the bathrooms near the ticket booths are free of charge.

A breathtaking experience! Tatra National Park is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. The mountains, forests, and streams create stunning scenery at every turn. Trails are well-marked and range from easy walks to challenging hikes, so there's something for everyone.

Perfect park, in all seasons with different types of path
LaVon — Google review
I recently visited Morskie Oko. It is definitely breathtaking. However, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE HORSE CARRIAGES! The horses are treated poorly and looked very overworked, pulling asses of 10-15 people up and down the hill. It really ruined my hike seeing horses being mistreated in such a cruel way and sent up and down the hill while it’s so hot outside. I saw horses with tongues hanging out of their mouths while carrying the carriage, really horrible. While I saw that they were fed I did not see that they had any water given in this heat. Honestly, it’s 2025, if you want to see the mountains , you need to be prepared to hike for the views. I also saw vehicles for disabled people. So there is no excuse to this cruelty. Last year, a horse collapsed right there while carrying people up the hill. Many have died after few months of being in this service or sent to slaughterhouses. They don’t have a long lifespan due to them being constantly overworked and mistreated. Please do not promote such a horrible treatment towards animals, who definitely deserve better than this.

Giewont, a mountain massif in Tatra National Park, is a favorite among hikers with its three peaks and well-marked trails. The area also boasts popular attractions such as Koscieliska Valley, Strazyska Valley, Chocholowska Valley, and the stunning Morskie Oko lake. Adventurous visitors can tackle challenging trails leading to famous Tatra peaks like Giewont and Rysy.
This is great hike with options of route ranging from easy to moderate. The views are great when there is clear weather. Choose to visit in off season and not a sunny day of you want to avoid crowds. The highest part has a few chains to suppor, which are fun to use.
Shweta E — Google review
Great Trek. The trail is hard 3h up and 3h down. At the summit there's a que to climb up and down which takes extra 2 to 3 hours. Plan your time accordingly. GL hf
Peter — Google review
Nice peak with big crucifix and 360 degree view. We have started the hike from Mala Laka parking (price 30 PLN or 20 PLN for whole day depending on which parking lot you choose). Ascend takes about 3 hours. It's not very difficult and it's nice. There are chains below the peak but nothing very difficult. Whole hiking path is very well marked. We choose yellow path for descend and it was a mistake. The path is terrible with a lot of gravel, loose stones and huge slippery boulders (when wet). Never again. But whole hike is great and you are surrounded by beautiful nature.
Vladimír J — Google review
I hiked to Giewont at the beginning of April. There was still a lot of snow on the ascent from Kuźnice, and I’m glad I didn’t descend on that same side, as it would have been quite difficult. The top of the mountain is easy to reach; climbing up through the chains wasn’t difficult. I descended on the west side of the mountain, and it was much better. There was barely any snow, and the stone stairs looked well maintained. I definitely recommend having microspikes with you when there is still snow above 1500m. Trekking poles can also be helpful. Beware of the avalanches. The view from the top is totally worth any difficulties!
Anna D — Google review
Definitely worth to visit, closer to top views are breathtaking. Also cool that you can continue to different direction and get even more tops visited. However, consider crowds. At Wednesday, around 13.00 it was very long queue to the top in the last section. Instead of 20 minutes it would take at least 2 h. So be the early bird and it will be okay

We has daily free access included in our accommodation. It was great! Clean, not too crowded, even earlier when families were there. The 2 big slides were amazing, there was ample room in the bubbles outdoors and indoors. The locker system is genius and very easy to use. The views of the mountains are beautiful. Very easy to spend 2 hours here unwinding. The staff were very patient and friendly, despite our terrible Polish!

Very nice aquapark. In the city so quite small. Not a lot of seating inside.

A great way to spend a cold afternoon with our two teenage boys while visiting Zakopane. The outdoor pools we very clean and really warm and nice to relax in and look at the mountains. Good value for a couple of hours and yiu can hire towels too. The slides were good fun for the boys.

The Aqua Park ticket price Happy Hour is very correct coz more than 3h when you don't have childrens you cannot stay coz very boring. The pools inside still cold and outside is just perfect 🥰 The sauna areea is really not intersting , and the smell is not confortable. The parking capacitty is very small, and you need to pay 1zloty for each .
Magda M — Google review
Small space with a lot of activities. Issue is with depth of pools (130cm deap), and only one place for babies. Probably would address issue with packing. Not enough space. In general our family of 4 was happy with unlimited time entry for 68eur
Adomas R — Google review
Very nice and clean aquapark witk many possibilities how to spend the relax time. Something for kids and also for adults like saunas or outside pool with termal water. During our visiting the termy was full but not so extremely. But the stuff mainly in bistro was not so ready for such many people. The same was with the number of sun beds. It's dimensioned for few persons. And this is why "only" four stars. The termy is not ready for more people.
Pavel V — Google review
the park itself is nice, clean water, a lot if different pools to choose from, slides are fun too. But the food is regular market food just heated up in a microwave and the saunas open at 14 and are 18+ which kinda ruined the mood

Snowlandia Śnieżny Labirynt is an annual snow fun complex located near the Wielka Krokiew Ski Jump in Zakopane, Poland. It features a variety of attractions including the largest snow labyrinth in Poland and the world, a snow building, toboggan run, igloo with snow figures, mini zoo, and a castle with hidden ice tunnels.
We had so much fun in the labyrinth!😍 at first we thought it would be easier, there was a guy inside who’d help you if you asked and he was smiling at us when he saw the same group of people for the hundred time😁 we didn’t ask for help and got out in about 40 minutes! We highly recommend checking it out! There was also an igloo next to it, and some other fun activities. We bought the tickets on the spot, there was not much of a queue at the ticket office, maybe 4-5 people so we didn’t have to wait much to get inside.
Fanni V — Google review
We had a great time here in early March, on the last week the maze was open. It was warm and it showed on the walls of the maze, but that's not a fault, just a warning that if you want to see this attraction, plan your visit in time! The maze was brilliant, the kids really enjoy it and it really takes a while to get out of it. :) As a reward, you can go up to the tower at the end, from where you can look back at the whole maze. :) Then we tried the snow sledding track, which was also brilliant, but unfortunately it was already closing, so we couldn't stay long. I highly recommend it, excellent entertainment!
Gábor C — Google review
The maze was really challenging. Eventually some of us made it through and got to the platform where they helped the rest of us out. A really great and challenging experience. The igloo was surprisingly big and there was a lot to see. I definitely recommend visiting at least these two. There would also have been a zoo and Santa's workshop. However, we didn't visit them, so I can't say whether they are worth the money.
Anu K — Google review
We had a great time. The maze was a fun and unique experience for us. The igloo was very cool and intricate. The Santa Land was cool but definitely geared for younger kids. The price was a little high for our family but not terrible. Overall we really enjoyed it and would recommend.
Tony C — Google review
Sculptures were lovely in the snow caves, very easy to get lost in the labyrinth lol my daughter met Santa which she loved. There are a few places to eat in and plenty of food carts, but not easy to get a seat if you want to eat inside
Corinne J — Google review
I never thought I’d get lost in a labyrinth, but it turned into an exhilarating adventure! The thrill of wandering through its twists and turns, the rush of excitement with every wrong turn, and finally, the sheer joy of finding the way out—an unforgettable experience!
Anna O — Google review
A lovely place. We bought a combined ticket for all activities. The maze is large and interesting, the igloo creations in the snow are amazing and the small zoo is simply charming. There is paid parking in the area. A recommended experience
Irena E — Google review

A Colorful Place, but No Way In - Walking past Be Happy Museum in Zakopane, we were instantly drawn to its vibrant, playful exterior. It looked like a fun and unique experience, full of bright colors and quirky installations—just the kind of lighthearted stop we were looking for. Excited to step inside, we approached the entrance, only to find out that the payment machine wasn’t working. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any cash on us, and there was no alternative way to pay. The staff was polite but couldn’t offer a solution, so we had to leave disappointed. It’s a shame because the place truly looks fantastic, and I can imagine it being a great spot for fun photos and a cheerful atmosphere. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend bringing cash just in case. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to return and actually experience it next time!

The Be Happy Museum was a fun and colorful experience, especially for the kids! They absolutely loved the ball pool, the infinity room, and the doll room. It’s a playful and creative space that’s perfect for taking fun photos. The whole visit takes about an hour, which was just right for us. There’s a nice little coffee shop right at the entrance where you also buy your tickets—great for a quick drink before or after the visit. However, the place was a bit warm inside, and unfortunately, there was no air conditioning when we visited. The staff were okay—not very welcoming, but they did their job. Overall, a nice stop for families with children looking for a light, fun activity in Zakopane.

Our Lady of Częstochowa and Saint Clemens church in Zakopane is a charming wooden church located in the heart of the town, reflecting the traditional style of the region. The church is beautifully decorated inside and surrounded by an eerie cemetery, adding to its mystical atmosphere. It stands as a testament to the traditional folklore of the Gorals, an ethnic population with centuries-old roots in southern Poland's highland areas.
Located in the center of Zakopane. Nice church that I recommend visiting. it's a mystical space.

Beautiful little church peaceful and full of original wood work. Unfortunately whilst on holiday we received very sad news about my husband’s family member passing therefore we wished to just have a private moment in prayer. We felt the need to go in together as a family with our family Labrador dog as we had nowhere to leave him. I felt it totally appropriate in time and in Gods eyes until a nun came in and asked me out saying it is inappropriate to bring a dog into a Church. The church was almost empty , very quiet in prayer with my own family and my dog very well trained just sat there . I am so incredibly sad we all left on the middle of our prayers because of her remarks. Terrible thing to do by any human and without any reason other than being bitter.

Nestled in the heart of Zakopane, the Church of St. John the Evangelist is a captivating gem that beautifully embodies Highland culture and history. This charming wooden church is renowned for its stunning interior adorned with exquisite paintings on wooden boards, creating an atmosphere that enchants visitors. Although it may be small, its intimate setting draws many worshippers, especially on Sundays when the community gathers to appreciate its serene ambiance.
Very attractive church on immaculately kept grounds. Unfortunately, locked so can’t enter.

(Translated by Google) The oldest church in Skalne Podhale. Originally built in Zakrzewo, moved to Harenda in 1947. Right next to the Kasprowicz Museum. Roofed with shingles, surrounded by sabotages, with a dome at the top of the tower. It is worth stopping for a moment of reflection. (Original) Najstarszy kościół na Skalnym Podhalu. The Muzeum Oscypka is a heritage center that features traditional crafts and displays showcasing the cheesemaking techniques of the highland village. Visitors can learn about the history of oscypek and witness a demonstration of how it's made in various animal or symbol shapes after a brief theoretical introductory session, which unfortunately is only available in Polish. The guides are known for their engaging and humorous presentations, but non-Polish speakers may need translation assistance.
Very good experience. Polish language only as it's a lot of information which are passed in a nice and comprehensive way.

We participated in the traditional way to make Oscypek cheese ( with cow's milk as a substitute ). Very fun and unique experience!

It was really interesting. You can buy oscipek here. If you don’t understand Polish - do not visit this place.
Roman D — Google review
Must Visit! Amazing place. Tours are in Polish - no english translation unfortunately. Cheap tickets. Very friendly staff. Very informative. You get to mould your own oscypek at the end. Just an FYI: this isn’t a museum as such… you don’t walk around looking at stuff. Definitely recommend 👍🏻 Thank you to the guy at reception for shrink wrapping our oscypek for our flight ✈️ They run out oscypek t-shirts 😭 so we might have to come back when we’re in Zakopane again.
Daria G — Google review
Interesting experience, the main speaker is native to the region and speaks with local accent. Overall it was interesting to get to know local history and to taste cheese
Lu4nik — Google review
Not recommended if you don't want to risk catching something because they pack all people in a single crowded room that has no hangers for coats(you leave them on the bench) and no ventilation(all the windows are closed). Pretty hot inside and these conditions are hard to bear in winter clothes. The overall show is quite long because every child is trying to mix cheese and pose for pictures. The story they tell about cheese is quite interesting so if it wasn't for conditions it could be a five star feedback.
Andrey G — Google review
Polite but Very disappointing. According to front desk person. One must buy ticket two days ahead online. No cash at the door, not even for up price. If you don't not speak polish or highland, you are turned away....even if you understand... even if you are willing to wait. Tip: Do not be spontaneous. You must plan ahead. You must order online. They can not know if you do not speak Polish. It would have been a great way to learn about the area and use the 2 hours I unexpectedly had time for.
Anna H — Google review
Interesting place to visit if you're interested in Poland's history of cheese making and how the process occurs. The tour is for polish speaking visitors but a lovely staff member translated the talk in English to help us understand. It is a bit long, around 1.5 hours, but I had a good experience, especially molding our own cheese.

If you're on the lookout for a quirky and entertaining experience, "Dom do góry nogami" in Zakopane is a must-visit! This unique upside-down house offers visitors an optical illusion that plays with your senses and challenges your perception of gravity. Perfect for those seeking a lighthearted break from mountain hikes, this compact two-level structure has been captivating tourists since its opening in 2007. Expect to feel a delightful sense of disorientation as you navigate through its creatively designed interiors.
One of the Zakopane’s attraction and it’s in the city centre, easily accessible by walking. It’s a tiny house, so better to wait if recess any group already. Experience the phenomenon in the form of a different effect of gravity on humans and lets you to free your imagination with a guarantee of great fun.

Don't forget to plan a visit to this upside down world literally in the city centre. Poland has a few of them and they're super funny. Although walking with snow and ice mess inside was trouble but that's not on them. The ticket price was about 30pln which hasn't been updated online. Overall, a lovely fun place to visit and kids love it. Poland has a few more on the Baltic Coast.

The Muzeum Stylu Zakopiańskiego im. S. Witkiewicza is a must-visit for those interested in local culture and tradition. It showcases the history of Zakopane-style homes through displays of artisanal crafts within a traditional wooden Highlander villa from the late 1800s. The building is beautifully renovated and well-preserved in its original style, which is rare to find in modern-day Zakopane due to destruction caused by hotel and apartment construction.
We recently visited the Koliba Villa and was truly captivated by everything connected to the Górale (Highlander) traditions and style. The atmosphere of the place instantly transported me into the heart of Podhale culture — warm, authentic, and deeply rooted in nature and craftsmanship. From the beautifully carved wooden furniture to the intricate details of everyday objects, every element told a story of pride, artistry, and connection to the land. I was especially impressed by how thoughtfully the interiors were restored, keeping the spirit of the original highlander lifestyle alive. Learning about Stanisław Witkiewicz’s vision and seeing it realized so harmoniously in architecture and design was inspiring. This visit gave me a new appreciation for the Zakopane style — not just as an aesthetic, but as a soulful expression of Polish heritage. I left with a full heart, feeling enriched and inspired by the beauty and strength of Górale tradition.
Oksana O — Google review
This building is breath taking. Zakopane is full of beautiful old building that were destroyed to build hotels and apartment buildings. It is so good to see well renovated and kept building in ‘Zakopianski’ style! Museum is well designed and has the audio tour in English. Stuff is nice and friendly (no problem with English for foreign tourists). I recommend visiting it!
Kasia M — Google review
It's nice if you are interested in seeing how a building like this was on the inside. However, most of the text is in Polish only, so half of the exhibition is lost on foreign visitors. There is also a reconstruction of a typical house in the Tartra Museum ans there you can listen to how a day in the life was in the house, so I would rather go there. In my case, I visited both museums on a Thursday and they were free, so I obviously don't regret visiting this one ;)

Well laid out small museum. It told the story of the Zakopane buildings in engaging, informative way, with interesting exhibits. Helpful staff and audio guide in English.

The very old church is still in great condition and well preserve . Great place to visit especially in the cold winter of Poland when it's all full of snow . You should pay attention when crossing the road by foot .
Yehudit D — Google review
Lovely little chapel to visit. Gorgeous to look at and enter, it’s wonderfully preserved. Outside there are information boards on how long ago it was built and who built it which was nice to read. There is a free car park on the other side of the road which I would recommend to those who don’t walk to it. However, I would caution those who do use the car park as it is right next to a bend in the road making it awkward to pull in and out of. You also have to be quite cautious in crossing the road from the car park due to the bend and cars going quickly in this area. Overall, I would highly recommend especially if you have 15-20 minutes spare and want some place to visit.

I've been to Karczma Góralska twice now, and honestly, it is an absolute MUST-VISIT in Zakopane! 🏔️🇵🇱 The entire experience—food, service, and atmosphere—is pure magic. ✨ The atmosphere is instantly transporting; the lively Góral folk songs 🎶 create such a joyous, authentic vibe. The service is fantastic—every member of the staff serves you with a genuine smile 😊 and speaks excellent English, which is super helpful! Plus, having the menu in both Polish and English is a huge bonus. 📖👍 Now, the food! Everything I tried was seriously delicious and satisfying. The deeply flavorful garlic soup with smoked bacon 🥓 and the perfectly cooked cabbage and mushroom pierogi 🥟 with crispy bacon bits were amazing starters. But the showstopper was the massive pork knuckle in beer marinade 🍖 served with fantastic fried cabbage and all the fixings. 🤤 To drink, both the warming non-alcoholic Winter tea 🫖 and the potent Herbata Góralska (with "prąd"!) are incredible must-tries! 🔥 I can't wait to go back again! 🤩🥳😋👍🏼🌟💫👏🏼💯❤️ #KarczmaGoralska #ZakopaneEats #GoralFood #PolishCuisine #Śliwowica #HighlanderLife #Gubałówka #FoodieHeaven #TatraMountains #HerbataGoralska

Short review: Best food I have ever tasted! Lovely atmosphere True Polish dishes, but kids can also eat well. Little corner for kids to play, nothing dangerous I noticed. Live music, adjusted to the people's wishes! You can eat cheap, or expensive, and you'll be full either way! There is no tip included in the bill, you can tip the staff by giving them cash, as much as you want for the service. The menu is translated in 3 languages, also in hungarian and it is avilable via QR codes. The menus are not translated poorly they are very accurate. Parking is not far away, aprox. 2 minutes away (400 m) through Fashion street, there is a large parking lot, with parking fee of 7 zł/hour on weekdays 'til 9 PM. For disabled people this restaurant is packed with seats on the ground floor, but no toilet. Toilet is only available upstairs. The toilets are clean, and well equipped. The mulled beer, and garlic soups are the top favorite, a must try! Also the pancakes are very very delicious! Basically everything is delish. Longer review: I've been to this restaurant 7 years ago, and remembered that the soups are amazing. I forgot the name of the place, and how it looked like, so we just wandered around the street, and stumbled upon this restaurant with great atmosphere inside. Just after we sat down, my sister sent me the picture from 7 years ago. It was the exact same restaurant!! So not only I remembered, but accidentally fell in love with the place twice🥰🥰🥰 And just as I remembered, the Garlic Soup is the best soup in the whole world. It was served with cheese toast, and plenty of bacons inside the soup, very delicious! The food was still hot, and we didn't wait for the food, only about 15 minutes, each time we ate there. Because yes, we ate there 3 times, everyday, throughout our stay in Zakopane. Our waitress Karolina and waiter Jurek was the best! They were always smiley, and fulfilled any request we had. We will be regulars that is for sure!

Museum
Galeria Figur Stalowych, located in Zakopane, is a unique exhibition featuring over 100 steel figures created by hand. The collection includes impressive models of robots, cars, and characters from fairy tales and movies. Some visitors describe the experience as out of this world and praise the visionary artist behind the creations. The gallery has received positive feedback for its helpful and professional staff.
A Must-See Marvel in Zakopane! The Gallery of Steel Figures in Zakopane is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! I have never seen anything like it before—this place is a masterpiece of creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Nestled in the heart of the city, the gallery showcases an incredible collection of sculptures, all handcrafted from recycled scrap metal. The level of detail in each piece is simply astonishing. From iconic characters of fairy tales and sci-fi movies to lifelike figures of politicians, musicians, and animals—every sculpture is a work of art. And the life-sized cars? Absolutely mind-blowing! Knowing that some of these creations take up to 8 months to complete, with thousands of hours of meticulous work, makes them even more impressive. What makes this gallery even more special is the interactive experience. Unlike traditional museums, here you can touch, sit in, and take photos with the sculptures, making it an unforgettable visit for both kids and adults. The craftsmanship, the effort, and the sheer artistic vision behind every figure are beyond words. If you’re in Zakopane, this is an absolute must-visit attraction. Whether you’re an art lover, a fan of pop culture, or simply looking for something extraordinary, the Gallery of Steel Figures will leave you speechless. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience!

Very cool, interesting place with mind-blowing figures from metal. The best is, that all of this amazing art is interactive - you can climb in, touch etc. all the exponates. It's in shopping center floor -1, so I guess, not many know about this place. We were the only ones there and it was THE BEST!
Agnese E — Google review
This place is just out of this world and the guy who created that art is a visionary. I have not seen anything like that before. There are more than 100 of steel figures in Zakopane, the rest can be found in Warsaw, Prague and Pruszkow. Totally worth spending the money to see this exhibition. Satisfaction guaranteed. The staff at the gallery also deserve the credit. Both helpful and professional. The best part is that you can actually touch everything, take pictures inside the cars, sit on the iron throne, etc. Awesome!
M S — Google review
Great attraction! Very interesting museum. Highly recommended. You can appreciate the talent and the time needed to build these perfect steel figures. Amazing!

GALLERY OF STEEL FIGURES WISTAWA GALERII FIGUR STALOWYCH A very unique style of art. Visited the gallery in December when we were in Zakopane and must say it definitely was a good idea to visit. The metal sculptures were amazing and felt so satisfying to see all the scrap metal reused. Took loads of pictures and really enjoyed them.
Gergő G — Google review
A very nice experience, definitely worth the visit. The ticket costs 39 zloti (in July 2023) for an adult and there are many statues that you can touch and interact with. The museum in located inside a shopping mall.

Historical landmark
Nestled in the heart of Zakopane, Dworzec Tatrzański stands out as a vibrant cultural hub and one of Poland's premier nightlife destinations. This lively venue is renowned for its eclectic programming, hosting everything from the festive White Nights celebrations to nu-jazz performances and energetic ragga concerts. With an impressive lineup of international DJs spinning house, breaks, and drum'n'bass tracks, it attracts party enthusiasts from cities like Warsaw and Krakow.
Loved this Place! A very friendly, attractive and well-located place to chill and relax (few steps from main Krupówki street, but aleady enough to hide from all that noisy crowd). The inner ambience is too good and trust me as soon as you enter here you won't feel like stepping out. Place serves great Italian food with good portion size ( I went with main course and desserts..fondant was yammmy).

The Wax Museum on Krupowki Street is a small but impressive exhibition featuring lifelike wax figures of famous movie, music, and sports stars. Visitors can take photos with the realistic wax idols and enjoy an immersive experience. While not on a 1:1 scale, the figures are still quite surprising and eclectic. Additionally, visitors can get discounted access to the mirror maze for added fun.
Quite fun

For two adults and one child you will leave here 80 Zloty and the time spent here will not exceed 15 minutes. Boring content and poor quality. I would say in Zakopane are better places to visit
Jan B — Google review
The receptionist was really kind and good. But the museum overall was okay. The major drawback is the price listing. It is on the expensive side given the attractions were too small.
Parikshit B — Google review
