Visited while on holiday and our second. Beautiful Good Friday service. Warm and exciting atmosphere. Very good music - balanced mix of traditional and contemporary hymns, enthusiastically sung, accompanied by a very competent orchestra that didn’t drown out the singing. All the Bible readings were read very fluently, the congregation was actively engaged in the story telling, the sermon was very scriptural and unmistakably evangelical with no risk of misunderstanding the true meaning for the suffering and death of Christ. The pastors were very friendly and welcoming, and the morning tea was yummy and although we chatted with another visiting couple, nobody from the regular congregation made an attempt to engage with us, which was disappointing. Still, we felt very blest in the worship and look forward to returning and hope familiarity will change this. If new to Adelaide, we recommend you try Trinity Church.

Trinity Church Adelaide has a really welcoming vibe... the building itself is beautiful and has a lot of history, but the atmosphere inside feels modern and down to earth. The sermons are easy to follow, and they do a good job of making newcomers feel comfortable. There’s a mix of ages and backgrounds, and they’ve got stuff going on for families and young people too. If you’re curious about church or just want a positive space to reflect, it’s worth checking out.

Yeh nah it looks like the type of place I’d go to worship the Creator and seek ablution from sins. I reckon we’d share the peace through the spirit of fellowship and then I’d probably score a free cup of joe at the end of it, even though Ive dropped a tenth of my harvest into the collection bowl. It all comes out in the wash.

I have been streaming services online as I live in the USA. My grandma went to this church in the 1970s and early 80s. Recently I found an old program from her memorial service and have tuned into the services ever since.(my mother, who recently died, had kept this pamphlet). Very encouraging and uplifting messages. I hope to visit and tour this old building, if not sit in on a service, when I visit Adelaide in December.

It’s the starting point of a 3 hours Adelaide city walk if following one of the offical tour guide from the information center. The historical place is opposite to the Adelaide Convention Center and minutes away from Hindley street west bound. It’s a nice building full of history and where the welcoming community serves.

We lost our keys in the parking and tried to find but with no help so parked my vehicle in the night and came back home .

Brougham Place Uniting Church has had its doors open over the sands of time, where many have come to fellowship and share the journey of life. All ages can be a part of this community and cared for, and where many friendships are formed. The beautiful Pipe Organ sounds out it's magestic praises to God, bringing blessings to the people. Step inside one day, and see its colourful stained windows, and enjoy this churches rich heritage.

Attended the Illumina Voices Concert. A magical performance. The guest performers MiniM were a fabulous ensemble of young women singers whose joy of singing was infectious.

A beautiful Catholic Church with a heavenly voice of young people's choir. Enjoyed the 6.00pm Sunday Mass.

St Francis Xavier Cathedral in Adelaide is a beautiful Catholic Church with lovely architecture. It’s peaceful and open to the public to kneel and pray.

Sunday Mass from 6pm to 7pm. There were quite a lot of people attending. The atmosphere of the church made me feel very comfortable. You can donate for the church during the mass.

Beautiful cathedral both inside and out, lovely atmosphere. Appreciate the understated sanctuary and altar. Lucky to have heard the pipe organ being played while we were there. Pity not to have seen Bishop Pat...he mustn't have realised we came all the way from Cowra just to see him!😉

Not gonna lie, but as a curmudgeonly atheist, I was awed by the beauty of this church and its jacaranda. Like, the tree has a shape like a bonsai. It is dynamic. I was there on a Sunday, en route to the V8s. It is closed on Sundays. But yeh, very pretty indeed. Awe.

Dad. Dropped him off at church on his walker. He was 92 then. Went to pick him up and despite groups of people outside chatting, no one came to help him on the way out of church on his walker. No one. It took him to be in hospital, offering a donation to the church before anyone bothered to come and see him in either hospital, or his Aged Care Facility. Oh- they send a newsletter every now and then but that’s it. Christians. Really? How about a visit? How about some genuine concern for an old man who regularly attended your services? Pathetic.

I love going to visit this beautiful Baptist Church. The Sunday service is well attended and the atmosphere and people are always welcoming. On Tuesdays at lunch time, they hold amazing free concerts for the community. You always feel perfectly welcome to come in and take a moment to yourself.

For a space that claims to be welcoming and safe, the recent treatment we've experienced has been deeply disappointing. As a group that has consistently supported and contributed financially to this space, being dismissed due to the new ownership’s behavior—marked by male toxicity and a lack of respect—is neither “Christian” nor charitable. We will gladly take our support and business elsewhere.

Epic historical church in the city center, still with a living multi-cultural congregation with uni students, families and older people sharing faith and meals together.

I am extremely disappointed with Flinders Street Baptist Church’s handling of our booked rehearsal space. Our group, which pays to use their facilities, arrived to find ourselves locked out with no prior notice. This lack of communication is unacceptable—it wasted our time, disrupted our plans, and showed a complete disregard for the people relying on their services. If the church was going to close or change access, the bare minimum would be informing paying users in advance. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poor organization and a lack of respect for those supporting their venue. We will not be returning and do not recommend relying on their facilities without written guarantees.

Lovely Anglican cathedral in Adelaide. So nice to get a chance to kneel and say a prayer here. The building is spectacular as in the altar inside. They have a Lady’s Chapel too in honor of the Virgin Mary.

Lovely cathedral, just a short walk from the CBD. Worth a visit in the city of churches! And it’s opposite the botanical gardens so definitely worth a visit if you’re in Adelaide

Went there to experience some of the best churches and cathedral in Adelaide and was stunned by the beauty and serenity of the place. The local care takers were gorgeous and helpful with a cute store to purchase some gifts for you family. They provide candles and matches for prayers. Whether you are religious or not, you can admire this cathedral.

Attended Candlelight Concert, Vivaldi's Four Seasons performed by Amicus Strings. The acoustics in the cathedral made the concert extra special!

A wonderful Good Friday Service. Excellent music from a great organist on a huge pipe organ and a beautiful gowned choir. The two minister's presentation was superb.

Great organ that used to be the largest in the colony of South Australia that you can hear at a liturgy or in a recital. They also run a regular concert series of young musicians students of the Elder music conservatory and others.

Very welcoming, refreshing to connect with old friends after a long absence due to the COVID pandemic. The congregation at Peligrim has always been a part of me whenever I am in Adelaide with Raymond, Shanti and grandkids. The choir is excellent. God bless 🙏❤️

Very beautiful, but why celebrate Holy week.

I am part of a group that gathers in front of the church on the first Thursday each month at 5.15pm with people of other faiths and no faith to lament the treatment of asylum seekers by Australia. We share what we are doing about this issue and support each other. I appreciate the way Pilgrim Uniting Church Ministers and congregation stand with the oppressed and marginalised in the community -near and far- consistent with their faith in a God of justice and peace.

If you wana to relax yourself, the weekly concert here is perfect. Especially the pipe organ instrumental music

We were in Adelaide and away from our home church and were pleased to find Bethlehem to worship at during our travels. We attended their matins service on a Sunday morning, and the traditional high church style with organ and choir was perfect in this heritage building with magnificent stained glass windows behind the altar. It was lovely to be greeted at the entrance by their pastor, who was interested in why we were visiting and where from, and we appreciated his incorporating our family's needs into the prayers during service. Their website indicates they have multiple styles of worship - from contemporary to traditional - every Sunday at different times during the day as well as other times of prayer or bible study during the week. There seems to be an active youth ministry and other community-facing ministries. A warm and welcoming church.

The traditional 9am service was uplifting with a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. The organ and choir were wonderful and the preaching was practical and inspiring from Pastor Stephen Pietsch. .

Viewed the live stream this morning on Palm Sunday. still the professional standards we expect from Bethlehem. personal and engaging with great voices, pastors. and excellent piano and cantor. we printed service order prior and very useful. .message spot on AND i stayed awake the whole time .good pace of speaking and reading. love it. fans for life. god bless you all

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is a beautiful old church in the City of Adelaide. It is especially lovely to hear the hymns played on a pipe organ. I have attended this church a number of times and it is well worth a visit for anyone interested in Adelaide history or Churches in general.

The entrance to this church from Flinders Street is stunning. The architecture and wokmanship visibke from the street is grand. The church inside however, is fairly bland and not as ornate as you would expect. My wife and I went to this church for a wedding. The overall exlerience was good, but as stated the church itself inside although well maintained is one of the blander ones of its kind in Adelaide.

My reason for leaving the church is I do not believe nor practice in the New Testament, whatever variant is active right now. From this moment on I will part ways with the Orthodox Church and expect the priests/fathers and the followers to not interfere with my life. I loved it. I'm an Orthodox inquirer (Protestant) been attending a GOC, in my struggles for perpetual repentance I thought I'd go to a different ethnicity. Thank you Russia, I've never heard a choir so sweet to the soul, nothing wrong with Greek chanting, but the harmonies of the choir made my soul vibrate.

Beautiful historic church. The pews are well spaced and reasonably comfortable. The church was well heated as it was a cold day. The organ is stunning and sounds amazing. The church choir were very talented. The church has been very well maintained and is looking good. The only thing needed is a new fence as it is currently just orange construction mesh fencing.

My family and I recently and were very much welcomed by everyone we spoke with. Rv Bloor gave a wonderful word, beautiful choir and amazing facility. I'm looking forward to returning in the near future

Great-great-great-great-grandmother use to go to church here, so I went the once with my family in roughly 2015, even though I'm a staunch Catholic. The service was very nice and I loved being in the old church. The people were very friendly.

Lovely spot in a beautiful small town of Uraidla in Adelaide Hills. The decor is so unique and lovely and the staff are friendly and professional. Reasonable menu and good choices of drinks. The pizzas and salad were nice and tasty. For the pizzas the crust was very nice, thin and crunchy but maybe lacking more flavour and the balance of toppings specifically for the mushroom pizza. All and all nice experience.

Having read such great reviews about this place, we thought we’d give it a go. The location is relaxing and family + pet friendly. Spacious outdoor seating with nice breeze. We ordered the mushroom pizza, it looked great but sadly, it was dry and hard. The cheese was overpowering which has taken over the taste of the mushrooms, and we thought it was more of a cheesy pizza instead. The best part of our experience was the chef made chili sauce (spice level = very high), and the service was great and the staffs were friendly.

Another place with a QR code for ordering and not complaining. Great Pizza and a good selection for wine and beer. Perfect for a warm summers day with beautiful outdoor seating.

An old church that is now a pizza place just screams cool! High ceilings, funky artwork on the walls, hot and delicious pizzas, cold drinks and friendly service make this a stand out place. Settle in, order a bit of everything and just enjoy!

If only communion tasted this good. I doubt the old church where it's located was ever this busy, so if you can get over eating in each other's laps, than its a worthwhile experience. The pizza is fresh, unique and varied. If you just read the ingredients from the menu you probably wouldn't be thinking it's going to be that good but this is a case where the sum is greater than the parts. We had a mixture of gluten free and traditional and everyone left satisfied. If you're a pizza connoisseur you have to try it, if $5 frozen is what you like, stay away because it is pricey.

What can I say, great pizza, great service and great view. Sit outside if the weather is nice, it feels like you are having a picnic. Highly recommended. All of their pizzas are great and their cocktails are delicious. Prebook if possible to avoid any waiting period

Yeh nah a lovely place to connect with the divine. Its rock foundations fit in well with the heritage spirit of the area. The huge spire challenges the modern competitors, maintaining an air of dignity and timeless grace. Located on the corner of a busy intersection between past and present you would be mistaken to think seeds couldn’t thrive but somehow they manage. Entry is free like the gift it proclaims. It becomes obvious that the Holy One was in mind when you behold the craftsmanship that has gone into the interior design features - the organ pipes, timber crucifix, pulpit, lamps, dressings, pews, stain glass windows etc. Love and devotion has gone into every aspect and there is a palpable sense of sacredness to the whole space. There are resources and a welcome smile that greets you at the door. The service follows the liturgy of the Uniting tradition yet has unique characteristics and is simple yet elegant. Ministry is clearly ordained and fulfils the duty of offering sacraments and preaching the word faithfully. Morning tea and fellowship is offered after the service and all are welcome. Overall it’s a great place to spend your Sunday mornings.

There is serenity in this masjid, as if it is full of the noor of Jannah. May Allah SWT bless the Adelaide ummah! If you are passing through, this is a must-stop for worship and dhikr.

Allah’o Akbar, the oldest mosque in Australia. The Imam is serving here for over 50 years.

The only masjid I can find in Adelaide. This masjid is not that big but this enough. The women place is in 2nd floor. I think there's no much activity as when I come for Maghrib just the Imam and 1 other person stay there. But this masjid really clean, even the toilet, wudhu place also so clean. And this masjid also good place to find peace.

This is the oldest & historical masjid in Adelaide. This is the first proper masjid of entire Australia. Great architecture. Location is central. A place of peace, serenity & to bow before one n the only Allah Almighty. Five times prayers are offered regularly here.

There is a beautiful historic mosque situated in central Adelaide, which can be conveniently accessed via either side of the bus route. The mosque provides separate facilities for both men and women. Women can enter through the far right door. Additionally, there is car parking space available.

The main prayer hall is relatively compact, but there’s additional areas on both sides of the main building. The women’s area is a separate room during jummah and one of the side areas for Tarawih (according to one woman who I spoke with). Also, in case it’s important to you, this mosque appears to be more Sufi (Dawat-e-Islami) in nature. Everyone here seemed very friendly and welcoming. Great place to pray when you’re in town.

idk about the religion but they're loud af when they blast a speaker next to our house for multiple hours, Jesus probably said something about not throwing a carnival in a residential area lol idk

It's a blessing to be a part of the church. I absolutely love it and anytime I'm in Adelaide, I would always go here! They offer a lot of courses as well such as life groups, life ministry courses, belief courses for those new to the faith, and so much more to deepen your relationship with God. The best thing about these courses is that its not just on Sunday that these events happen. Its throughout the whole week. So highly recommend if you just moved in to Adelaide. God bless!

In a city of churches, this one we really enjoyed. We arrived early so no problem parking. Good music and worship, the sermon and testimonies were a good example of God's grace and goodness. We enjoyed a cuppa and fellowship before and after the service. We felt welcomed and accepted by those we spoke with.

Attended with regular after conference. Very warm and welcoming. Cafe coffee before church was great. Setup and singing was good. Was a bit more upbeat from usual church but not too crazy 😁. Definitely made the newcomers welcome.

We were on our way to Sellicks Beach and spotted Berg Herring Winery, so we decided to stop in on the way back. It turned out to be a great experience! The wine tasting featured a lovely selection of reds, and the gentleman who served us was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to chat with. The views over to the coast were absolutely beautiful. We’ll definitely make a point to stop here again next time we’re in the area.

We enjoyed a delightful tasting of these yummy wines. Genevieve, our host, was lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. The wines were reasonably priced and we bought a bottle to take away. The cellar door building, an old church, was a cool respite from the heat outside and provided a perfect background for our tasting. Recommended.

Experience avery disrespectful driver who parked his car in between two lanes. An old lady begged him to park his car nicely so she could also park . But instead she ignored the lady and walked away. This was so annoying experience to see happening in respected place of worship.

Was a lovely visit and really personal service with Robert Johnson. Nice to meet the winemaker and try his wines while learning all about them. A few nice drops that will not disappoint. The coffee for the designated driver was a lovely touch at no charge. We had been to numerous larger wineries prior to stopping at this Cellar Door and can not recommend highly enough as the personal service and quality of the wines really stood out. Will be back next time we are in Lobethal. Thankyou

It was the first time popping into this shop and it's just gorgeous. Quality indoor plants, not cheap, but absolute quality. Beautiful candles that are made in the Adelaide Hills and much more. The most beautiful store. Great place if your stuck for gift ideas.

Drove here especially. It says it's open on Google and according to the hours on the sign out the front. No other visible signage, but it's clearly closed. Here at 1pm on a Tuesday. Should be open until 5pm. Nothing on Facebook or Instagram. Called the mobile, no answer.

Great church with parking, excellent hall facilities, full sound system and kitchen. Has 3 different church services, families in the early morning, traditional in the mid morning and young adults in the evening. Hall is also available for hire!

Can comment that after two visits to Westbourne Park Uniting Church for music school recitals, the location is tremendous and comfortable. Easy parking, well lit and good sound system makes this a good venue for music experiences especially.

I'm not religious but the hall is good for hosting events? If that's what you're after!

An aging church desperately seeking a youthful upgrade. Don't get me wrong...the congregation are long-standing and devoted believers with hearts of gold. However, without new, younger parishioners, I fear the church will fade into oblivion in the next 8 years.

Good intentions but unfortunately this venue falls short, from a very limited offering behind the bar to a very obscure clientele the venue is just a bit odd, huge potential, but clearly no one with a hospitality background offering input into this very underthought concept. Even the spirit pours are lacking, the most top shelf bourbon you can buy is Jim Beam white label with comparable levels across other spirit styles. Fail

St Michael's Anglican Church is on Church Rd, Springfield. This historic gothic church was built in the 1860's overlooked the then village of Mitcham. There is much charm in the furnishings, particularly the redross behind the alter. A verandah flows to a modern hall. The congregation is energetic and engaging.

Went to a nice concert. Acoustics view and seats were quite good. Nice old Baptist Church. Quite interesting.

My mother and I (both of colour) just came to Salvos to donate some crockery and whatnot, all of which was in good - perfectly sellable - condition. One of the staff members (White) went through our whole box, which I have never seen happen to a SINGLE White person, and said that almost all of our things were unfit to sell. This is also not the first time this has happened, and this occurs almost every time we try to donate things. I have also seen things of much worse quality being sold and donated in these stores without being subjected to any scrutiny from the staff whatsoever.

The volunteers are what makes this place so special, secretary & social workers are fantastic too. I'm actually really thankful for this place because if your Really in need and you can get what you need and not what you want it does help so thanks to the people of salvos your very kind

I have been going to city Salvos now for 8 years . City Salvos are kind caring loving Christian people , willing to help anyone in need . I am a part of the city Salvos community, I also go to city Salvos worship service Wednesday night at 5.17pm , I also attend Flourish the city Salvos women's group. I am very grateful to city Salvos .

This place has many small rooms to hire for about 60 people. However at the moment the landlord does not want to fix the air conditioner for heating and cooling.

This is a very special place for worship. It is small, friendly and welcoming to all.

This church is by far the best experience I have had. The people are positively lovely, supportive and real. They are family and look after each other the way god has called them to. Love u Parkside

Parkside has changed the way that I view my friends and family. The spirit of God is flowing though this place. The new youth pastor Corbin Francis is a Chad. After being here for many years I have learned what it is to truely live as a follower of Corbin. Garry Parker has the best personality. He's so attractive and I want to be like him when I grow up. Nothing beats the feeling of a cold glass of water on a Sunday morning whilst listening to the sweet sounds of a Corbin Francis sermon. Would rate 5/5 stars. 10/10 marks. Parkside gets a 100% vibe rating from me everyday of the week. (This is a joke btw we do love Jesus and worship him 🙂)

Great room service, however the oven and microwave in the kitchen were not working. The keycard to the pool was also not working 100% of the time, and I found that you really get what you pay for! LOL!

Dropped in to ask for directions. Op Shop staff were very helpful and even offered me a cup of coffee. How kind!

Great atmosphere, great people. It's an all round amazing church.
