Japanese restaurant
Mitsukoshi Ginza is a renowned department store located in the flashy Ginza district. It occupies 16 floors and offers a wide range of products, including designer apparel, housewares, cosmetics, and gourmet food. The B2 level features a variety of ready-made food, sweets, and baked goods, while the B3 level houses an impressive supermarket with high-quality ingredients and an extensive cheese counter. Additionally, the store provides refrigerated coin lockers for perishable goods.
This is an amazing shop and the food floor is not to be missed. This is what a department store should be like. The cafe is really nice as well and the very tasty food is excellent value for money and the staff were lovely. Although this is essentially a shop, there is plenty to do and see here and we'll worth the visit.

There's a beautiful garden on the top floor (9th). There was a lot of people in the mall even during a weekday afternoon. The lifts were a bit slow, so we had to take the escalators most of the time.

Food heaven here in B2 floor. Bread, pastries, dessert, salad, sandwich, tonkatsu, ramen, udon, and sushi...good luck choosing:)

Tokyo Gin Za. There is Misukosi Department Store. It was opened about 150 years ago. Annex Building 12th floors. There is just one Japanese Restaurant. Restaurant Name is fish mountain ??? maybe... Sushi. roll. grilled fish. everything Best for lunch. Best sushi. Best service. Best people of serve. Owner or manager wearing Japanese traditional were Gi Mo No. So pretty wear !!! No lines, enjoy lunch & dinner here. 12th floors has only one sushi restaurant !!! other one is sukiyaki restaurant.
Richard K — Google review
Mitsukoshi Ginza is a large department store located on the main shopping street of Ginza. The two basement levels feature beautifully presented food in the traditional Japanese style. The upper floors offer clothing, cosmetics, gifts, and more, though the overall style feels quite old-fashioned. As is typical in these kinds of stores, there’s a large number of staff available to assist customers at every turn
Gaby — Google review
There is a stall on Level B1 that serves three kinds of vegetarian bento boxes! Perfect for vegetarians looking for a quick bite in the area. Level B1 also has other stalls selling various Japanese and Western salads, quiches, egg sandwiches etc that would be suitable for vegos.

Ginza Six, the newest and largest shopping complex in the district, is a multi-use building that offers an exceptional experience beyond just shopping. With over 240 shops, including luxury brands, it spans 14 floors and features a rooftop garden providing a peaceful escape. Visitors can explore an art and design bookstore, art gallery, chic food hall on the basement level, and even enjoy traditional Japanese entertainment at the Noh Theatre.
Ginza Six is a fabulous luxury brand mall. It is so modern, slick and artistic inside, the view is stunning from the higher floors. The first floor has all the well known luxury goods and cosmetic brands. Other floors have brands like Eataly, Tsutaya Book Store, and restaurants. It is very popular with tourists. The prices of goods are relatively higher in this mall as it’s in the middle of Ginza. During our visit there was sale going on in several stores. They had the store names listed at the entrance. It felt really nice to walk and explore the mall. Was very clean and well maintained. Staff members were very friendly. Restaurants are on 4th, 6th and 13th floors including steakhouse and sushi restaurants. It’s a must visit destination for anyone visiting Ginza.
Nehal A — Google review
We visited on a saturday and the main street was blocked off for pedestrian foot traffic. The unique part of the mall is the massive green space on the top floor. Its a good place to enjoy a coffee or lunch. Nothing is served up there, but you can buy something from a vendor inside and take it up there.
Jared L — Google review
Ginza Six is a luxury shopping complex in the heart of Tokyo that perfectly blends high-end fashion, art, and modern architecture. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an elegant and spacious interior, featuring sleek design, bright lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere. The mall houses an impressive range of international and Japanese luxury brands, making it a paradise for fashion enthusiasts. You’ll find everything from designer clothing, handbags, and shoes to exquisite jewelry and accessories. What sets Ginza Six apart is not just shopping but the overall experience. The rooftop garden offers a calm escape from the bustling city below, and it’s a great spot for photos or just relaxing while enjoying the view. The food options are also remarkable — there are several fine dining restaurants, cafes, and specialty food stores, offering everything from Japanese delicacies to international cuisine. The service throughout the mall is generally excellent. Staff are polite, attentive, and willing to assist with directions or product inquiries. However, due to its popularity, it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends or during sales periods, which may affect the leisurely experience some visitors are seeking. Overall, Ginza Six delivers a high-quality shopping experience with a perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and cultural touches. Whether you’re there for shopping, dining, or just sightseeing, it’s worth a visit.
Local G — Google review
A Luxurious Escape in the Heart of Tokyo Ginza Six is one of the most luxurious shopping complexes in Tokyo, and it truly lives up to the reputation. The architecture is modern and elegant, with thoughtful, peaceful design elements throughout—especially the beautiful interior staircase accented by a vertical garden wall. You can really feel the upscale vibe from the moment you walk in. However, be prepared for crowds. It’s a very popular destination, and nearly every corner is buzzing with people, especially the dessert stores. I wanted to sit down for a treat, but the wait was too long, so I opted for takeout instead. If you’re not a fan of waiting, takeout is the best option! From luxury brands like Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana to niche perfume spots like Fueguia, there’s something for every taste—if you love fashion, art, and sweets, this is your paradise. Pro tip: Go early or during off-peak hours if you want to enjoy the space in a more relaxed way.
Olive O — Google review
Located in the heart of Ginza, GINZA SIX is more than just a shopping mall – it’s a cultural landmark that blends luxury, art, and lifestyle. Opened in 2017, the building itself is striking, with a sleek modern façade and a spacious, bright interior that feels refined and inviting. Inside, you’ll find an impressive lineup of high-end brands such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Celine, along with many Japanese designer labels. Compared to traditional department stores, GINZA SIX focuses on space and presentation, almost like walking through a curated fashion exhibition. Every corner feels elegant and thoughtfully designed. The dining options are equally appealing. From fine Japanese cuisine to stylish cafés and dessert shops, there’s plenty to enjoy after a round of shopping. One highlight is the rooftop garden, which offers panoramic views of Ginza and the Tokyo skyline – especially beautiful at sunset when the city lights begin to glow. What truly sets GINZA SIX apart is its cultural aspect. The facility even houses a Noh theater stage, where traditional Japanese performances are held, creating a rare fusion of shopping and art in one place. Overall, **GINZA SIX is not only a destination for luxury
Jawen — Google review
We come to here every trip to Tokyo, mostly for the rooftop garden...one of the few places in Ginza where you can eat your convenience store lunch & pretend you’re in a $500-a-plate restaurant. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained & free...which already makes it an outlier in this neighborhood. But what I’ve never mentioned before is the art inside. Every visit, the central atrium gets a new installation that makes you look up, drop your jaw & briefly forget how much a pair of socks costs here. This time: massive orange space cats riding a rocket, suspended midair like they’re invading the Dior section. It’s wild, creative & somehow fits perfectly. This is a mall where architecture, retail & modern art all hold hands...while your wallet quietly cries in the corner. Come for the luxury brands, stay for the absurdly cool art & don’t skip the rooftop garden...it’s Tokyo’s best free penthouse.
Jim R — Google review
Loved my visit to Ginza Six! Super chill vibe, gorgeous space, and so many cool shops to explore. Perfect spot to hang out, shop a bit, and take a breather. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Tokyo!
Gina L — Google review
Visited Ginza Six and really enjoyed spending time on the rooftop garden — it’s a peaceful spot with a nice city view, perfect for a short break from the busy Ginza streets. The shopping area is upscale with many luxury brands, but the highlight for me was definitely the rooftop. A relaxing place to unwind after walking around the city. 🌆🛍️✨

Tokyu Plaza Ginza is a must-visit destination in Tokyo's traditional business district. This iconic shopping complex, completed in 2016, boasts an entire city block and features a stunning exterior design reminiscent of Edo kiriko cut glassware. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Ginza and its surroundings from the rooftop Kiriko Terrace.
The rooftop bar is a really chill vibe. Come here around sunset for good music and views. Drinks are a bit expensive, sofas to relax on are a great touch and even a pool which I think is available for anyone to use. Good spot for some post Ginza shopping drinks and it's not very busy

This luxury shopping mall in Ginza has floors of luxury brands, unique designer brand shops, and a duty-free shop (Lotte). There are restaurants on the 11th and 10th floors and other restaurants in the food hall on the underground floors. When we visited, we noticed the 7th floor was empty, and it would be nice to place a sign notifying shoppers about it.
Patrick M — Google review
This shopping mall looks very nice from the outside. This building was completed in 2016, so it’s modern design and things are more optimized. Newer things are better most of the times.
Ak — Google review
Tokyo Plaza Ginza is one of the malls I really enjoyed visiting. The building itself is beautiful, with a modern glass design that makes it stand out in the middle of Ginza. Inside, it feels spacious and clean, and I liked how the shops are well arranged. For shopping, there’s a good balance of Japanese and international brands, so it feels like you can get a little bit of everything. Even just walking around and window-shopping is fun. I also liked the variety of cafés and restaurants—some even have terrace seating with a nice city view. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop garden. It’s calm and peaceful, and I felt it was the perfect place to take a break after exploring Ginza. Overall, I’d say Tokyo Plaza Ginza isn’t only about shopping—it’s also about the atmosphere. For me, it was a really nice spot to spend time and enjoy both fashion and the view of Tokyo.
Bina S — Google review
Strongly advise against visiting this store, especially if you are a Chinese tourist. I had a firsthand experience of being scammed at the Lotte store, where prices are exorbitantly higher than elsewhere. When I attempted to return the goods, I was told that my purchase information had been sent to customs, preventing any possibility of a refund.
Victor W — Google review
amazingly delicious sushi on the top floor! our 2nd time going! the fish was so FRESH and it was inexpensive!

The view from the rooftop green space is amazing! You might get lucky and see two Shinkansen trains riding past each other! Lots of shopping options, as well as restaurants. Very convenient being directly above Ginza station. Not to miss!
Mary — Google review
Quiet shopping mall with many unique and reasonably affordable stores compared to the luxury brands on the main street. Go to the rooftop bar to rest after your shopping spree

Clothing store
Uniqlo Ginza is a popular clothing retailer located in the traditional business district of Tokyo's Ginza area. The store offers a wide collection of casual wear and accessories for both men and women at reasonable prices. It is known for its good quality, fashionable, and affordable basic casual wear that has gained popularity on platforms like TikTok. Uniqlo also features innovative collections such as HeatTeach and AIRism designed to help regulate body temperature.
I can spend whole day here! 12 floors of Uniqlo really screams “Japan” for me. The directory labels floors for women men or kids. The coffee shop is located on the top floor. I got a dorayaki and matcha latte WITH UNIQLO LOGO ON IT. That was so cool. I made my way down with each floor. The staff were nice and helpful. Many fitting rooms. You took shoes off before stepping in the changing room. There is a lounge for people to relax and take a break. Wonderful setup with chairs tables and magazines. Compared to the US, the price is definitely lower. And much more variety. Material is good as always. A must go if you like Uniqlo.
Sharon H — Google review
Wasn’t that bad as I heard. I visited in the afternoon on weekday. They have a floor with special collaborations for totes and t shirts which is nice. There are different flors with products for men, women and kids but I think it’s better to buy in any usual Uniqlo store the regular collections where it’s less crowded. The staff was pleasant but the elevator situation is horrible. The elevators are priority for wheelchairs and strollers and people just ignore that despite the large announcement. The staff stands close to moving stairs but it’s nowhere near lifts to correct the situation. I think it’s a store to visit if you want to get special ginza collaboration, otherwise to skip.
Culture T — Google review
The UNIQLO flagship store in Ginza is a 12-story global flagship store located in the heart of Tokyo's upscale shopping district, offering a complete lineup of UNIQLO products alongside unique services and collaborative items exclusive to the Ginza location . The store features a unique collection of UT T-shirts and tote bags created in collaboration with 15 long-established and beloved Ginza shops, such as Ginza Itoya (stationery), Kimuraya (bakery), and Kabuki-za Theater . This makes for a perfect, location-specific souvenir. Located on the 12th floor, this was UNIQLO's first in-store coffee stand, where you can enjoy premium blend coffee and cookies from the famous Ginza West shop . You can spend a few hours there to shop for anythting.
Simon W — Google review
You know Uniqlo, right? This 12-floor store has something for everyone. There's a whole floor for customization where you can get embroidered patches on your bags or jeans, and they even fix old clothes. We found some cool Japanese graphic T-shirts, perfect for souvenirs. Plus, they do tax refunds. On the 12th floor, there's Uniqlo Coffee, and we totally enjoyed our matcha latte after shopping.
Apoorv G — Google review
This flagship Uniqlo store spans through 12 floors, just crazy to comprehend. It is so unique that they have a Uniqlo cafe on the top floor, that serves Uniqlo branded tea, ice cream snacks and gift items. The cafe also has some seating spots for dine-in and rest. Remaining floors have the apparel and accessories that we all know. As I walked through all floors I was impressed to see how organized they were. Each floor is not big, pretty quick walk around. Every floor had several staff working on keeping the goods tidy and helping out customers. All floors were super clean as well. Most floor had their checkout lanes too and most of them had the tax free option as well. I tried the honey lemonade and pancake from their cafe, both were tasty. Bought some coffee beans and souvenir cups too for gifting. We also bought several apparel items for our family. Prices are cheaper here compared to USA, so bought these things to feel good about coming to this store, lol!
Nehal A — Google review
A massive flagship store that sells clothing for kids, men and women. It has a cafe on the main floor and an eating area on the top floor. It’s very busy and if you want your pants hemmed, they advised it would take 10 days. Best to go to another Uniqlo store for a shorter waiting period.
Melanie E — Google review
The Uniqlo Ginza Flagship Store is a massive, 12-floor location on Ginza's main shopping street. It features a wide selection of clothing for women, men, and children — all at very affordable prices. Tax-free shopping is available, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Most floors have seating areas near the windows, and there’s a nice coffee shop on the upper level
Gaby — Google review
Super Uniqlo, has 12 levels and every thing is well segregated. Lots of special items and sale too. You’ll probably have to spend 1.5 hr here from checking out all the stuffs and they also have a cafe on top, had a pretty good matcha latte to end it off. Cashier lady was swift and polite with my purchases ytd afternoon!

Hakuhinkan Toy Park is a massive 9-story toy emporium located in Tokyo, offering an extensive range of toys, games, puzzles, model kits, trading card games, and more. The store also features stationary items, souvenirs, and costumes. On the 8th floor is Hakuhinkan Theater which hosts various events and performances. For adults interested in Japan-specific jigsaw puzzles or architectural Lego sets like nanoblocks, this place has it all.
This is one of the most satisfying toy stores we’ve visited! We were so happy to find it—it had everything we were looking for and more. A huge variety of toys, games, and fun items for all ages. The kids were thrilled, and even we enjoyed browsing. A great stop for anyone looking for gifts or just a bit of fun shopping.
Yuval E — Google review
Amazing toy collection! From plushies, to puzzle games. They have literally everything. Our kids age 10, 8, 6 had so much fun. They even raced the toy cars by paying 200 Yen each.
Florence T — Google review
HAKUHINKAN TOY PARK in Tokyo is an absolute gem — perfect place for both kids and adults to spend a few delightful hours. The moment you walk in, you’re immersed in a wonderland of toys: classic, modern, quirky, rare, and everywhere you look there’s something that sparks joy. The store layout is excellent — plenty of space to browse, bright displays, and well organized so you can find sections you love (figurines, games, plushies, retro toys, etc.). Staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable — happy to show you special items or help track down something specific without any pressure. Whether you’re chasing nostalgia, looking for the perfect gift, or just wanting to explore a toy-lover’s paradise, HAKUHINKAN delivers. It’s one of my favorite spots in Tokyo to recharge, discover something new, and just have fun. Highly recommend for families or anyone with a playful spirit!
Rob H — Google review
It's a cool place not only for the young but the old too! The place will bring back childhood memories for the old when they see the toys they played when they were young. Similarly, the young will have a wonderful time here, wanting to get their hands on everything they see! 😆
Jerry T — Google review
It’s shop for both old and young. Anyone can find their own toys: scientific, artistic, mechanical, anime or just fun games or toys. You can spend hours here browsing and playing. There is a Tomica racetrack at 4th floor which is super fun.
A K — Google review
If you’re on a tight schedule but need to pick up some gifts for the kids, this place is an excellent choice. With a wide variety of toys, stationery, and themed merchandise, you can find all the gifts you need in one store.
Belle — Google review
An absolutely incredible toy store! The sheer variety at Hakuhinkan is fantastic, with floors packed with everything you could possibly imagine. It's a true paradise for both kids and adults, and the service from the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the start. The team here truly deserves 5 stars for their honesty and helpfulness. In all the excitement, we accidentally left a bag behind and only realised after about 15 minutes. When we rushed back, they had already found it and were keeping it safely for us. We are so incredibly grateful for their integrity!
Ryando A — Google review
A lot of toys for just about every one! Cool toys and those that are to be found only in Japan are here. With the 4 floors of toys, you can practically spend a good 2 hours just going over everything. I heard though that this is one of the more expensive places you can shop so I guess I should've expected that since the store's in Ginza.

Tokyo Solamachi MISE is a massive retail complex situated at the base of Tokyo Skytree, offering over 300 shops and restaurants. It's not just about fashion; the complex also houses unique stores specializing in goods like salt from different regions of Japan and traditional Tokyo crafts. If you're on the lookout for souvenirs, there's an entire floor dedicated to souvenir shops with character goods, Japanese interior design items, and snacks.
Best place with a good mix of retail and F&B outlets. Any restaurant here serves good food. I find shopping here is better than other malls as it not too large and not too small, just the right amount of relevant brands. There is also a Pokemon Centre. Always come back here each time.
Joann S — Google review
If you are into cute items, the mall has good selection of cafes, sweets and anime products (including Medicom/Medicos action figure). Pokémon center is less busy compared to Ikebukuro, when we went in Oct, there was ongoing oktoberfest. At floor 4 near Jump and Pokémon there is a store selling fresh strawberry and coffee milk which we really like, including Yuzu Powder/Salt which is pretty rare to find.

We went here to do a bit of shopping - specifically UNIQLO shopping. The sales of UNIQLO are better than other countries because UNIQLO is japanese. But we got so much more than that. The train & station going here is soo modern! What a treat! When we arrived we were greeted by the UNICORN GUNDAM outside. But it was not schedule to change or have a light show. I recommend checking its schedule as an added experience if you are going here anyway. We loved the clean toilets with special sections for small children. The automated cotton candy machine looked so cool. There are a lot of interesting shops in this mall. They had Lego that I've never seen in other Lego stores before. The sale prices of Uniqlo was lower than in other countries. We had a quick and affordable Chinese fastfood for dinner at Panda Express. The orange chicken was yummy with the fried rice. After we had the best Strawberry & Banana ice cream nearby. Enjoyed our evening in this mall.

The mall itself is very nice and there are a lot of different stores, shops and entertainment! We visited multiple clothes shops, figure stores and their many crane games. The mall, like many others, have tax-free shopping if you spend more than 5500 yen. Yet this one requires you to download an app, register an user and input your card information just to get the refund. This should not be the norm!

Diver City at night is amazing because the lights really bring out the high tech vibe of the place. With the Life size Gundam there, it feels like its home to an animation studio.

Amazing mall with a lots of store and brands, and the food such Tsukemen Kyurin Ramen, the soup is very tasty and rich, I love it ! The food court has a various range of delicious food, you should try those when you visit DiverCity Tokyo Plaza

The mall has a good selection of shops, including popular brands like H&M, Uniqlo, and Caco. The game arcade is more affordable compared to Akihabara, a fun and budget friendly option. There’s also a good variety of food choices to satisfy any craving. It is a good place for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

If you are into gundams and gunplas this is the place to be! Huge gundam outside and cool gunpla store on the last floor! There’s other shops, restaurants and cafes too! It’s a big mall. Walking outside is really nice!

KITTE Marunouchi is a modern retail center located in a high-rise building with seven floors of shops, restaurants, and services. The architecture showcases the white stone facade of the 1931 Tokyo General Post Office building, offering a blend of history and modernity. Visitors can explore a rooftop garden with views of the city and incoming bullet trains from Tokyo Station.
I had a fantastic shopping experience at KITTE mall. The atmosphere is stylish and welcoming, making it a great spot to explore. I was especially impressed by the thoughtful store layouts and the quality of the products. Although some items are on the pricier side, the overall experience is worth it. I would definitely love to visit again and spend more time discovering the hidden gems in KITTE. Highly recommend it!

Japanese design products store in this building are interesting and worth to visit. Quality of their products are superb. Good restaurants are there too. Just across the street from Tokyo station. Enjoy !
Supakij K — Google review
Lots of upscale stores. Good food options in basement. The star of the show goes to the free museum inside. It's an EXCELLENT way to spend time and enjoy a neat experience right near Toyko station.
Jenna W — Google review
The Kitte building itself is architecturally speaking quite interesting with it's triangular shape, glass roof and tiled exterior in "Tokyo light beige". In addition, the former postmaster's office on the 4th floor, which is open to the public, is quite a unique touch. One cannot only sense the atmosphere of past times - and even write some letters & postcards at reserved tables - but the view to the historic Tokyo Station building is simply stunning. Great picture taking spot and really gives you a sense of places & periods "mashing" together. So, definitely recommended to visit the 4th floor for sightseeing, but the rest of the shops are not worth visiting IMHO: mostly heavily overpriced tourist stuff and chain restaurants. There are many, many better shopping options in Tokyo.

I went to KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station and really enjoyed the visit. The place has a nice mix of shops and restaurants, and it feels modern but still relaxing to walk around. I especially liked the rooftop garden – the view of Tokyo Station’s red brick building was so beautiful and peaceful. It’s a great spot if you want to shop a little, grab something to eat, or just take a break with a nice view. I had a really good time there and would definitely recommend it.

Go to the rooftop terrace for amazing views of Tokyo Station. It is free. Level 6. If you are there during the day also pop into the free museum on level 3. You will not regret it.

love coming here for sushiro and other staples like good coffee/matcha and 3 coins, etc. people don’t know how to walk…other than that, it’s such a lovely place!! just be prepared in the summer months especially for lots of confused tourists!

Very good drip coffee and Cocoa. The cheese Toast and Egg Toast Sandwich were tasty. The bread is as this as Texas Toast (thick). The Cafe is quaint with small tables. Service was decent. Overall good experience. Our total was $18 USD. Which is very affordable.

Lots of interesting stores. Many food shops offering a wide range of styles. Lego, ghibli, tomico, and other shops you won't find in the U.S.A. Somewhat difficult to navigate. Google maps does a fair to middlin' job tho. There are no benches. Some leaning benches are available in quieter areas. A starbucks is here. Good luck.

There are several shopping complexs blended together and there must be 6-800 shops and restaurants there. We ate several meals for $10 per person. Note most do not take cards so have yen in hand, there are ATMs throughout. Very busy at times and you can go right into Tokyo train station for transport.

DECKS Tokyo Beach in Odaiba is a ship-themed shopping mall with nearly 100 shops and restaurants. It also houses indoor theme parks like Tokyo Joypolis, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo, Madame Tussauds Tokyo, and the Tokyo Trick Art Museum. The Seaside Deck offers stunning views of Tokyo Bay, including the Rainbow Bridge and the Odaiba Statue of Liberty.
Oh, what a fantastic mess of crazy this place is. A bit too crowded for my liking but otherwise great! There’s food, there’s shopping, there’s even like half of floor-worth of kids area for them to play in a you’re a parent and want a minute of as breather. There’s the LEGO discovery center, an area that looks like an olden shopping street, haunted house and Madame Tussauds, which was a bit smaller than I’d like it to be but it had Becky and Beckham too, so all people worth knowing with names starting with B. :)

A smaller shopping center, with not too many shops, but is located at a nice place in odaiba. There are other nearby malls too. It does however contain a very cool old-school style shopping street, that gives a feel of the old times.

Great place with excellent locals to get some retro souvenirs and have a good time with family and friends. It also has locals to get anime figures at a great price. You can find a good food area in the place.

Great spot for food and some gaming. Restaurants, shops snd there is a great Retro arcade we really enjoyed, a hunted house, Legoland, wax works and a large indoor theme park/ arcade. We had other things also planned and wish we had more time, you can easily spend all day here and it rights by the beach/water front with great views. Fuji centre and observation deck are also right next door, though it was closed when we visited.

Ginza Wako is an iconic luxury department store located at the Ginza 4-chome junction in Tokyo. Originally a watch and jewelry shop, it now offers a wide range of products including men's and women's clothing, bags, jewelry, accessories, porcelain, and interior goods. The store targets wealthy older customers with its exclusive offerings.
Amazing desserts and delicious chocolates. A bit pricey, but do recommend to check it out.

Great place to shop for luxury item especially Seiko and Grand Seiko. I did feel somehow that I was not properly dressed and was a bit tacky, so the staff were not really greeting me even if I am looking around. On the 2nd floor during my day of my visit fortunately they have a watchmaker exhibiting how to assemble a GS movement. Overall, a pleasurable experience and I am sure customer service is top notch if you are in the market for their pieces.
Sherwin G — Google review
Great experience, exactly what I’d expect when buying a Grand Seiko from the flagship boutique in Ginza. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, watches were well-presented, and I was made to feel like a valued customer. Will certainly return one day when it’s time for my next GS beauty.

I came here because of the Apocalypse hotel anime, it was definitely beautiful in person and the inside is worth checking out It's a very expensive place inside, it's not actually a hotel but a watch store but everyone was super kind and even though I was dressed in very athletic clothing because I came in August everyone treated me very nicely You feel like the atmosphere is super rich like you wouldn't be welcomed but they were very welcoming I just wanted to say hi to Ponko and yachiyo

Just bought a Grand Seiko SBGA211at Wako Ginza yesterday. I went in thinking Lake Suwa or one of the green bamboo/grass heritage collection, but I knew this was it when the light starting bouncing off the dial and the sweeping blue hand. Fukuzawaさん was super patient while I jumped between trying on various models. *Extremely* knowledgeable about the brand - she provided background and context on every watch I looked at. I think buying a GS here at the birthplace of SEIKO is the right call for an aspirational purchase like this, especially since they take you up to the “owners lounge” to complete the purchase; adds a real sense of occasion
ROBERT O — Google review
We had the pleasure of getting shown around the store and trying on various models with Mrs. Fukazawa. She was very knowledgeable about multiple brands and treated us in a nice and professional way. Coming in with a stroller was not frowned upon in the slightest either. Sadly, we had to leave early unexpectedly, but I will definitely purchase a watch there, once I am back in Japan again.

Amazing service by Mr. Toshiki Kawai! We are a couple visiting form Canada and was looking for a Seiko/ Grand Seiko watch. We can see Mr. Toshiki Kawai is very passionate about watches! He is very knowledgeable, very attentive and patient. He understood what we were looking for and showed us watches not on display. His service was one of the best service I have received in Tokyo so far. His English is very good, and he explained all the complications of each watch to us in English. When we come back to buy another watch, we will definitely ask for him again!

Its bright and modern interior spans 12 floors, each with its own unique theme, offering everything from paper to paint supplies. The store also features various food and relaxation spaces on its upper levels.
What heaven for stationery lovers!! This is the biggest stationery I have ever visited with extensive range of exquisite items spread in 12 floors. This is a total bliss! Their products are stationary, cards, gifts, art and craft supplies etc. Everything is in tidy and clean order. There is a cafe in the building. Everything is artistic with Japanese aesthetic. You must visit the store if you are in Ginza!

This is an amazing stationary store, right next to Tiffany’s. Every floor is a playground for the fancy, and every item on display, or for sale is carefully curated, to match the best of the best. I could almost spend an hour on each floor. It’s just an amazing place!
Nathaniel K — Google review
HEAVEN!!! This is the biggest stationery store in the world with 12 floors. Initially we went to look for a special pen for my brother-in-law. It’s the only time I experienced having a remote translator helping us shop for a pen. How absolutely modern in pre-pandemic 2020! Now that is so normal already. I ended up buying myself a not-too-expensive but oh-so-beautiful gold SAILOR pen. It's a great keepsake of our wonderful time in Japan. I still use it everyday and the smoothness with which it writes and how slim and light it is makes Muji pens feel really inferior. If you love stationery (I loved it since I was a little girl writing my pen pals!), cleverly design stuff, things that you never thought you needed and just beautiful quirky stuff... then you will love this place! I can spend hours here! They also have cafes so you can enjoy some refreshments while resting your feet.
UnDiplomatic W — Google review
Most organized and diverse collection of crafts, writing utensils, papers, stamps, and stickers. Most of the items are reasonably priced and although it was crowded, I was still able to move freely. The restaurants and cafés inside are good stopping places and there is even an indoor farm. The lady named Coral at the check out counter was extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. There are two elevators and the escalators only go up. Was a altogether wonderful experience.
Trinity A — Google review
The most beautiful and largest stationery store ever. On the first floor, you’ll find Christmas cards, then on the second, greeting cards, writing paper — in short, a paradise for anyone who loves this world.

There really is a wide variety. All Japanese products are really carefully made and incorporate a lot of ingenuity, and the whole store is like an exhibition. This location is a well-known meeting point for tourist buses traveling from Ginza to other parts of Japan. If you book an online tour package, it is most likely that this will be your designated meeting point. One important thing to note is that, despite the various tour booking platforms, the tours are often managed by the same agency. As a result, you may find yourself grouped with tourists from other tour packages.

Sunshine City, located in the Ikebukuro district, is a vibrant multipurpose complex offering a wide array of attractions. Visitors can explore its numerous facilities including shops, restaurants, an observation deck (reopened in 2016), the Sunshine 60 Building with its Sky Restaurant, and the World Import Building housing an aquarium. Families and couples can enjoy events at the fountain plaza while shopping at Shopping Street Alpa and ALTA.
The mall is conveniently connected to the hotel I am staying. It's big, lots of shops and many good restaurants as well. Plus point for me is that it has pokemon center, bandai cross as well. The sunshine 60 observatory is a very good alternative to skytree or shibuya sky. Although it had the aquarium, I didn't get a chance to visit it. Also, it's only 12 minutes walk from ikebukuro station and it even has an underpass straight to the heart of ikebukuro

If you're around the area with some free time then the aquarium can be a fun stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make a purpose trip solely around it. I came here for trying to play the biggest gatcha place in the Japan (as many people stated). To be honest, the location was still quite far from the nearest train station and the place was closing early. If you also want to visit this biggest gatcha place, then you may need my info: They are 2 gatcha places in Sunshine City. The smaller one called gatcha gatcha no mori (if I remembered correctly) was located on either 1st or LG(sorry I forgot). This place closed at 8pm along with most of the stores inside like kiddyland, Pokemon etc. While the biggest one will close at 9pm and the restaurants inside will close at 10pm. The gatcha place is really so big and there are lots of gatcha to play. My experience was just okay because I arrived quite late and only have around 1 hour to play before it closed. The place is clean but they don't have many staffs. Once, my gatcha ball didn't go out and it was hard to find the staff and when I found it, she asked me to wait because another customer already asked her for something (I managed to get my stucked gatcha ball at the end). In my opinion, you don't have specially to come here. There are lots of gatcha too at Akihabara.

Visitors can also enjoy two restaurants, a bakery, a bar, and two galleries within the store. Additionally, there's a fresh food section offering bento boxes, custom tea blending services, and a juice bar.
Probably my favorite store in Ginza because it feels so homey, warm, and such a good relaxing vibe even if the store crowded especially in the weekend. Anyway, this is where I get most stock for snacks, ready made food, and kitchen needs. Theirs are very practical and unfussy. The sales on clothing are usually good value. The service is totally efficient.

A must-visit for Muji fans. Very large store with a cafe/restaurant in the basement, bread and coffee on the 1st floor, and a fancier coffee 'salon' near the top floor. There's clothing, travel stuff, kitchen, bath, and furniture... as well as what looks like a performing space and a gallery. Because of its size, it has more than many of the other locations in Tokyo.

Level 2 is dedicated to women’s clothing, and I actually bought a few items here. Prices are about 20% cheaper compared to Malaysia, which makes it a great place to shop. On top of that, foreigners can enjoy a 10% tax-free benefit—you just need to go up to Level 4 to process it at the tax-free counter. Overall, it’s a great shopping experience if you love Muji. We were on a wild goose chase over tokyo to find a Muramatsu flute. Our last chance was at Yamano Music as it was near our hotel and we only managed to arrive 10 minutes before closing. It must be our lucky day as they had one DS flute of the exact specifications we wanted (we needed two but now we have at least one) for our children. The staff was really nice and everyone was full of smiles despite it was past closing time and we were also very apologetic - we did not expect them to have stock since Muramatsu told us the waitlist is 2 years! So thankful for the staff and we are sure to be back again!

If you’re a musician, Yamano Music in Ginza is definitely worth a visit. I came specifically looking for a Vandoren ebonite mouthpiece and some reeds, and was glad to find a few options available. While I expected the saxophone floor to be a bit larger, it was still interesting to browse and explore the selection. A solid stop for any woodwind player passing through Tokyo 🎷

Found the Seiko Metronome Watch Here I came here looking for the Seiko Metronome watch, which I assumed the flagship Seiko Dream Store would carry. Luckily, someone guided me to this place (inside the music school, just a short walk away). They had a wide range of choices in colors and models. Staff were very helpful and showed the usual Japanese politeness. Great experience overall!

Really nice staff, I was playing on a multi effects pedal board, staff said I could use any guitar I wanted, I was fiddling around for 20mins plus, bought it. Happy customer! I went to Fender flagship store as well, I will never go back there again

Great music store. I bought some guitar strings (hoped to find some for my bass, but they didn’t have the ones I use) then went to a different floor and picked up some sheet music as well as a magazine. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitley be back next time I’m in Japan. My only regret is not buying more…

The store is beautiful. They have an excellent flute collection, including used flutes, and they allowed me to try several flutes in a testing room, with no pressure. They had Miyazawa, Powell, Yamaha, a few others, but no Muramatsu. Very helpful staff. They had some good deals on Ibanez guitars as well, though their guitar selection was somewhat limited. Bring your translator app if you speak English.

Very well stocked guitar department, wide range of Taylor instruments… unfortunately didn’t have the Jim Dunlop 2mm “Big Stubby” plectrums I was looking for… I’m sure they could order in, but I was just passing through. Very interesting shop with multiple floors dedicated to various categories, woodwind, strings etc.
Hazzard G — Google review
Bösendorfer is an Austrian piano. There are also 97-key full 8-octave keyboards with 4 to 9 pairs of strings under the 88 keys, with the lowest note being a major sixth C lower than usual. This keyboard is an extended bass. The soundboard of the strings expands, the number of strings that resonate increases, and the sound in the mid-low range becomes richer. It's not a keyboard to play, but a keyboard to make it resonate. The thickness of the core of the fundamental tone, the slow decay to maintain the "resonance", the depth of the bass, and the tone that is maintained make it an excellent match with the strings, making it switch to the perfect from chamber room to symphony hall.

I popped in here after visiting the statue of liberty. Yet another fascinating shopping centre full of life and interesting stuff. There's an aquarium here which is well worth a look albeit it isn't huge but also not that expensive. Plenty of places to eat. I chose the chicken place and it was really nice and inexpensive. It was a nice place and perfect for taking a break from the outside heat. Just round the corner there's a small shop which has dogs just chilling inside. Worth popping on for a quick scritch of the ears which is well welcomed.

Very nice waterfront Mall. You can see Japan statue of Liberty by the burger place. I think the name was something like Honolulu Luna? Toilets are very nice and clean and there is a place to put your toddler when you're going to the bathroom. This is in the women's room. I don't know what the situation is in the men's room.

It's a very nice mall with a lot of fun things inside and outside. It's quite easy to locate most shops and, like most things in Japan, was immaculately clean. There are also multiple interact with pet stores in the mall --- so great place to take the kids for a unique experience.

AQUA CiTY Odaiba (アクアシティ お台場) is a clean, modern mall that punches above its weight thanks to its unbeatable location. While the cinema is just average and the mall itself isn’t packed with surprises, its waterfront setting, global dining options, and proximity to Odaiba’s major attractions make it a pleasant stop. 4/5 – A decent mall experience enhanced by everything around it. Full Review: AQUA CiTY Odaiba (アクアシティ お台場) is one of those malls that understands its role in the bigger picture. It doesn’t try to be everything—it just exists comfortably within the beating heart of Odaiba, and in doing so, becomes something more. Sitting right along Tokyo Bay, this modern waterfront shopping center offers a balanced mix of food, fashion, and entertainment, with arguably its strongest internal feature being the cinema complex. I’ll be frank: the cinema here is serviceable. It's not premium, nor cutting-edge, but for a quick escape into a film—especially if you're on a date or ducking out of the heat—it does its job. Functional, not phenomenal. The mall itself leans international in its offerings, especially when it comes to dining. You’ll find a Global Dining Zone packed with familiar franchises and worldly flavors, making it a decent lunch or dinner destination. Add in a few fashion and lifestyle stores, and you've got enough to browse without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. It's walkable, decently laid out, and very foreigner-friendly, which is a plus for international visitors. But where AQUA CiTY truly shines is in its context. Situated mere steps from the famous replica Statue of Liberty, and within eyeshot of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza’s iconic Gundam statue, it's impossible to ignore just how strategically positioned this mall is. Whether you’re out for photos, sightseeing, or a casual stroll along the boardwalk, AQUA CiTY is an easy, comfortable stop that adds value to the overall Odaiba experience. That said, a logistical warning: parking validation only applies to purchases made within the mall you parked in. So if you park in AQUA CiTY, don’t expect DiverCity to cover your parking ticket—and vice versa. It’s a small but important detail that could save you a little frustration and a few extra yen. Final Verdict: 4/5 On its own, AQUA CiTY Odaiba might feel like a solid but unremarkable mall. But paired with its surroundings, it becomes a welcome oasis in an already rich and entertaining destination. If you're exploring Odaiba—and you should—this is a pleasant, worthwhile place to recharge, catch a movie, or enjoy a bay-view meal.

"Sushi no Midori" is a renowned sushi restaurant with a rich 50-year history and a constant queue of eager customers. The establishment operates under the philosophy of providing high-quality sushi at reasonable prices, sourcing fresh ingredients daily to ensure top-notch dishes. Their seasonal chef's omakase nigiri sushi set showcases the freshest seasonal ingredients, with items changing every three months for a unique dining experience.
This place was absolutely amazing! If I ever visit Tokyo again, I will definitely make a reservation and come back here. I went with a group of 7 friends, and we were all very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We arrived 30 minutes early, but our reserved table was already prepared for us, and everything went smoothly. Thank you for the great experience — wishing you continued success!

One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to! The quality, variety, and service here are absolutely unreal. It’s clearly a popular spot—I arrived right at opening time and there were already dozens of people queuing. I ended up waiting at least an hour to get in, which was crazy, but honestly well worth it. I went all out and tried a range of nigiri, including some I’d never had before. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a few really unique standouts. The only dish I personally didn’t enjoy as much was the cooked soy tuna—it just wasn’t to my taste, but it didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. Highly recommended if you’re a sushi love

I visited for lunch on a Sunday, a little after 11 AM, and waited for about 20 minutes. I had a great experience at the Shibuya branch on a previous trip to Tokyo, so I decided to visit the Ginza branch, which was near my accommodation. I was a bit worried because I had seen some low-rated reviews, but when I arrived, the restaurant was bustling with a diverse crowd of local Japanese customers and foreigners. For my meal, I chose the 'matsuri' course. The "crab innards salad" appetizer was fresh, and all the main sushi pieces were equally fresh and delicious. The sea bream (まだい) topped with a ponzu jelly, which was part of the course, was particularly amazing. It was a shame it wasn't available as an à la carte item. My requests for additional items, like draft beer and wasabi, were handled promptly. For me, the food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. One staff member, a young woman named Iwabuchi, who was managing the waiting line, was especially kind and memorable. When I had a question about one of the sushi pieces in my course, she went as far as to look it up on Google to give me an answer. I was also touched when she said goodbye to me in Korean as I was leaving. It's often the little things that make a trip so memorable. For this quality of sushi at this price, I would definitely want to visit again.

The foods are nice. The space of the restaurant is quite spacious and comfortable, however, we had to wait too long. The first day we arrived at 8 pm and the restaurant refused to accept the queue because it stopped accepting customers at 9 pm. The next day we arrived at around 6 pm and waited nearly 2 hours for our turn to enter the restaurant. The waiting time reduced the feeling quite a bit. However, the food was quite delicious and fresh, so I still rate the restaurant 5 stars.

We visited as a group of two adults and a child just before closing time and were seated immediately—no wait at all. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was impressively quick, and the staff were warm, kind, and attentive. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing sushi spot! We had the tuna assortment and it was incredible—super fresh and the fish practically melts in your mouth. Generous portions that are very filling, and prices are reasonable for the quality. They don’t have gluten-free soy sauce, but I still enjoyed everything without it. Highly recommend! Walk-ins are accepted, but I suggest making a reservation if you can.
Enrique M — Google review
I waited for almost 2 hours to get seats in the bar. The taste was so so, not worth waiting actually. However, the portion was generous, and cheap. I think that maybe why this restaurant can get overall good reviews. One thing to mention is it uses the worst rice I have ever had in JP.

Tokyo Character Street is a popular shopping area within Tokyo Station, offering a wide array of stores dedicated to anime and manga character merchandise. It's a must-visit destination for families traveling with kids, as it features 31 shops showcasing various characters, including those from television stations and even Shochiku kabuki goods. The convenience of its location in the basement of First Avenue Tokyo Station makes it easily accessible for visitors through the Yaesu Gate.
Super fun time here! It’s cool to see so many shops and gifts and there’s plenty of food as well. It’s very convenient since it’s right under the station so getting here is pretty simple. It can be very busy so expect crowds! Many crowds!

A fun hidden spot inside Tokyo Station, worth the adventure! We started our day in Ginza and decided to explore a bit more one of the things I love about Tokyo is how much you can see within a short 5–20 minute walk. We eventually made our way to Tokyo Character Street, hidden underground in the maze of historic Tokyo Station. My 14-year-old son, who loves anime (Naruto, Demon Slayer, One Piece, and a few others I can’t even remember right now), really wanted to check this place out. While he’s not a big trinket collector (yet), he really enjoyed seeing all the cool items, touching things, and just experiencing the atmosphere. It was fun just watching him explore. The real surprise for me was Tokyo Banana that shop was awesome! The curry bread and the banana milkshake were absolutely phenomenal. I’m definitely coming back one day just for those milkshakes.

Tokyo Character Street is highly recommended if you are a fan of Sanrio, San X, Doraemon, One Piece, Shonen Jump and many many more. I would highly recommend visiting here. As a tourist, the language barrier was not too bad here, although in the One Piece store there the worker that served me the second time I purchased only offered the free gifts to the Japanese customers but the worker that served me the first time was super kind and sweet and offered the to me!

Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. is a historic department store in Nihonbashi, offering multiple floors of fashion, accessories, and dining options. The flagship store features early 20th-century embellishments and iconic gilt elevators operated by white-gloved attendants. The main building is designated as an important cultural property and houses the world's largest selection of timepieces at Watch Maison.
We had our lunch at Torisho Hashiguchi Nihonbashi Takashimaya, basement 1. A very small stall with limited seating. Wanted to try other food at the upper levels but all long queues so we settled down with this since it’s more of a quick service dining. The soup broth is good. Noodles are springy and QQ but it was a lot for me and my younger son to finish. Menu is limited. If they could have more side orders, it would be great! Parents with stroller can also dine here as you can leave your stroller outside (very convenient since it’s a small stall).

It was quite a fancy mall with a real variety of items. In fact, an ideal place if you're looking to buy some gifts. The food options within the mall are quite good. You can even buy some takeaway on the first floor. Lots of bakery around too. Expect it to be a bit busy during peak hours, it seems like a common place for tourists to visit and is also really accessible via the trains.

Love the Basement food hall that offers a wide variety of food options. After taking away a good spread of food, we went to level 8 Rooftop for Al fresco dining. It was autumn and the weather was nice and comfy for a nice meal. The dumplings, beef and croquettes were good. It was an enjoyable meal.
BeholdHim — Google review
The lady who processed our tax refund was excellent at the tax refund counter on the 2nd floor of the main building – efficient and professional. Unfortunately, while she assisted us, a male helper behind her (name tag included the character “海”) who was packing our items gave us an openly derisive look and appeared to mock us when he saw that part of our purchases to take home were fresh produce. We were perplexed - each of us can check in three 32kg pieces of large luggage, so of course we’ll buy whatever we wish, including fresh items. I don’t understand why customers spending at Takashimaya deserve to be ridiculed by its store staff. This individual clearly needs retraining and falls far short of the service standard Takashimaya is known for.

2k540 Aki-Oka Artisan, also known as Artisan Street, is a unique shopping destination located under the elevated railway tracks between Okachimachi and Akihabara stations. This gallery features over 50 boutiques offering a wide range of handcrafted and custom items from local craftsmen and artisans. This is a beautiful artisan shopping center. The prices are high, but the quality of the products is amazing. There are shoes, handbags, wallets, coin purses, ceramics, jewelry, and so much more. The hat shop was definitely our favorite.

This is THE place to buy handmade Japanese goods, some traditional and some modern. Some shops are expensive but others are astonishingly affordable for how beautiful and well-made their products are. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and even the way each shop lovingly wrapped each thing you purchased for safe transport reflected how much care and attention to detail went into the crafts for sale. The ambiance was calm and I could have enjoyed just wandering from shop to shop for hours.
Mariam H — Google review
What a good idea to use the space under the train tracks for a shopping gallery - but this is not an ordinary gallery selling cheap stuff from China. These are local shops selling handmade and artisanal goods, all made in Japan: leather bags and wallets, shoes, pottery, decoration items, clothes etc. Of course it comes with a price, but what you get is Japanese quality and craftsmanship. Two shops that caught my attention: Spingle Move (that has some unique sneakers) and Blue Trick (Japanese denim clothes from Okayama). Great way to support the local artisans and in return get an authentic good Made in Japan.

I read about this Artisan shopping center and was so glad I came. It's a beautiful (and surprisingly peaceful) spot with really cool goods and neat cafes. We didn't get to make it to Cafe Asan (requires reservations) but still enjoyed meandering around the shops. A true oasis in the fluorescence of Akihabara. Great for high end, handmade, specialty goods.

The neighborhood has state of the art commercial and office structures, shopping areas, residential buildings, recreation and open space facilities with well done gardens. It's a great example of this centuries planning needs of walkable cities for better sustainability

The square are brand new and super modern building. Full of interesting restaurants and outlets. Place for you to have best choices of gourmet and at the same time to shop here. 2 sky high buildings here in modern architecture made this place look very class. You may have typical Japanese restaurant around this area besides few kind of Asian spices such as Indian Pakistani or Thai restaurant. Middle building with beautiful mural at the ciling made it look very renaissance look. Great place to enjoy

Not much to do here. Nissan doesn't have any real product lines. Generally speaking, it's a brand show-case building with not much else going on.
Aydin P — Google review
We ventured inside out of curiosity. A couple floors were dedicated to Sony and showcased all of their Japanese and export products with demo pieces. Very enlightening. Another floor had a few concept cars on display that were just amazing to see in person. How on earth did they get these up to the upper floors? Only one of the cafes was open in the late morning. We sat and had a very expensive drip coffee on the patio overlooking the busy intersection below. Great view! The best part was the bathrooms on the Sony export floor. One stop in there and you’ll not want to leave.

The shop inside this mall discriminates against foreigners. At the 4th Nagano Market, when issuing reservation tickets, they don’t accept lowercase letters—if your passport says “JOHN,” you must write “JOHN” and not “John,” which is completely ridiculous. They treat guests more like debtors than customers. In fact, the shop only stated that the name must be correct; they never specified that it had to be in uppercase or lowercase.

Such a pity that I discovered this place on my last day in Tokyo. Am really not a mall rat but i do like the way this place was made. Nakamise-dori Street is a vibrant shopping destination that serves as the gateway to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. This historic street has been bustling since the 17th century and features an array of stalls offering everything from traditional sweets and kimonos to quirky Kawaii toys and religious souvenirs. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere, especially during weekends and holidays when crowds flock to explore its offerings.
Nakamise Shopping Street is such a cool place to explore! It’s packed with tons of little shops offering all kinds of there is souvenir from traditional gifts to fun snacks. It’s a great spot to pick up something memorable from Tokyo. We tried a strawberry mochi for the first time so soft and delicious! We also had a strawberry on a sugar stick, which was super sweet and tasty. Both were a hit! Definitely a fun and lively spot to walk through, especially if you’re visiting Senso-ji Temple nearby. Highly recommend stopping by for the food and the atmosphere!
Elba P — Google review
Nakamise Shopping Street is a busy, colorful mix of traditional charm and commercial energy. Walking through, it’s easy to get swept up in the crowds, especially during a heatwave like the one I experienced—it can get quite uncomfortable. As a group, we bought some souvenirs, but quickly realized that better or cheaper options were just a few meters away, so a bit of patience pays off. The street is lively and vibrant, with plenty to see, but the highlight is at the end: a beautiful shrine that reminds you to be respectful and mindful of local customs. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the atmosphere and sights, but go prepared for crowds, heat, and careful shopping. Tip: Bring water, go early to avoid the peak sun, and take time to enjoy the shrine at the end.

Nakamise Shopping Street is a vibrant and historic market located near Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. Stretching approximately 250 meters, it features over 50 shops offering a variety of traditional snacks, souvenirs, and crafts. Visitors can savor famous treats like ningyo-yaki (sweet cakes) and senbei (rice crackers). The lively atmosphere, with vendors often showcasing their crafts, adds to the experience. Nakamise is an excellent spot to immerse yourself in Japanese culture while picking up unique gifts. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination for both tourists and locals alike.
Eldor S — Google review
Nakamise Shopping Street is super lively and colorful, with a fun mix of traditional shops and touristy stalls. It gets really crowded though, and on a hot day, it was pretty uncomfortable at times. The best part is at the end: a beautiful shrine that feels peaceful compared to the busy street. Definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere, but be prepared for the heat, the crowds, and lots of shopping temptation. Tip: Bring water, go earlier in the day if you can, and don’t rush through the shrine—it’s the highlight.
Ryan L — Google review
This street features a variety of fairly touristy foods, drinks, and souvenirs. This street is completely full of people during the day, with lots of options for (overpriced) snacks from small shops where around half only accept cash. If you need to go through here I highly recommend using the 2 side streets. At night the street gains a very peaceful vibe, with artwork on lots of the shop's shutters.
Jake L — Google review
Very touristy place but still well worth the visit. Plenty of folks in rental kimonos and folks pulling rickshaws give this place a fun almost theme park like environment. The shops have ok prices and plenty of variety for everyone in the family.

These illuminations are so so beautiful✨ The staffs told us not to stop, but most people tried to take pictures. I thought that illumination without being gazed is nonsense, so what the staffs required is weird. If you use a wide angle, you can take nice photos. However, there are too many people, so other people would appear in the photo, which is not good.

Amazing place for getting all things anime. The stores have a great collection of figures, trading cards, video games, and much more hobby related things. The place is quite busy but it wasn't too difficult to move around in, some stores also marked up prices on items a fair bit. Besides that it was a great location for hobby shopping and contained figures I have never seen outside of Japan.

The classic video game Steins;Gate has been adapted into an anime, and this Akihabara "Radio Kaikan" is truly its holy site. In the past, it was lined with small shops selling electronic components under the name Radio Kaikan, but today it's packed with anime-related goods like figures. This store was actually a little difficult to find. The pictures in other reviews look like there is a major storefront. The store is actually located on the second level of a mall area called NishiGinza. There are not really signs for the store. Until you walk into the mall and you will see an arrow pointing to the 2nd floor. There is no actual storefront with glass doors that seem to show up in some of the pictures on the reviews. Instead, it's a general open area at the top of the escalator. It is a large area with Lots of products. To be honest, I was disappointed.
David R — Google review
The store has 2 floors, but most of the stuff I saw can be found at other shops or online. It is not that big of a store and only the really popular characters have merchandise. I was hoping to find sugar bunnies, Mimmy, and Chococat. They have a cool lottery thing you can do at the register if you want to buy a random big item.
Sarah R — Google review
If you are a Sanrio fan this is the store to visit. It spans over 2 floors and the range of merchandise is huge. Lots of photo ops with cute statues everywhere too. Note that you have to pay on each level so I would recommend looking through upstairs first as it has the larger range.

We came here twice, and only on our second visit did we discover the huge second floor area. Make sure you take the stairs up to the 2nd floor as it has way more stuff than the main floor. COREDO Muromachi 1 is a unique shopping complex located in the Nihonbashi area, which was once a center of business and culture during the Edo period. The complex consists of three buildings, each offering its own distinct charm. Building 1 houses both well-established and newer stores, while Building 2 features a cinema complex and numerous restaurants. Building 3 offers high-end lifestyle stores.
Though it originally opened in 2010, the COREDO Muromachi shopping, dinning, and entertainment complex centered in the historic Nihonbashi district still feels shiny and new. Here you’ll find lots of traditional Japanese shops selling every little thing you can imagine, from stylish knickknacks to lovely kimono, and elegant lacquerware. You’ll also find lots of different foods, from standing counters to stylish sit-down restaurants. Themed to convey its historic roots as one of Tokyo’s original commercial hubs, this is a fun place to just hang out, eat, and shop, especially on weekends. During the week, especially during the long, hot, and humid Tokyo summers, you can usually find an interesting themed event or entertainment program here. In years past, the summer NIGHT AQUARIUM and special GEISHA PERFORMANCES have been big hits, drawing large crowds even on weekdays. Thought spacious overall, as the individual spaces are usually on the somewhat smallish side, events can get very crowded very quickly here. If you’re in a hurry to have an experience here and then move onto the next things, then this isn’t a good place for you. If you’ve got plenty of time to just chill and go with the flow and enjoy whatever comes your way then you’ll more likely to have a good time here.

COREDO Muromachi 3 is a sophisticated shopping complex that offers a wide array of traditional Japanese products like chopsticks, towels, and lacquerware. While it may be challenging for non-Japanese speakers to navigate, the experience is enjoyable, especially with the help of a translator or local language skills. The mall also features delightful dining options, making it an ideal spot for a reasonably priced lunch.

Coredo 1,2 and 3 are interesting, well connected shopping centers. There are some nice restaurants and a pretty cool movie theater that shows older films. Overall a clean and well organized “mall”, but pretty much everything seems costly and a little cramped. Maybe this is normal for Tokyo.

COREDO Nihombashi is a multi-building commercial complex in Tokyo's historically significant Nihombashi district. It has been designed to blend in with the area's cultural and historical environment, dating back to the Edo period. The upscale mall features a variety of shops, restaurants, beauty salons, and even a cooking school. It is conveniently linked to Nihombashi Station, making it easily accessible for visitors using the Tozai or Ginza Lines.
I love this area! buildings are elegant and classic, the architecture reminds me to the old NY buildings meets uprising Tokyo, recently went to Gustav Klimt's immersive experience and later grabbed some lunch at a Spanish restaurant to finally wanting to buy all kids books for my one year old. The place has baby stations which is a big plus for me. Such a fancy neighborhood I want to go back whenever I can

An interesting fact about the Coredo Building in Nihombashi, Tokyo, is that it is part of a multi-building commercial complex that has been designed to blend in with the Nihombashi area's cultural and historical environment. Nihombashi itself is a historically significant commercial district, with roots going back to the Edo period. The Coredo project aimed to revitalize the district while maintaining its traditional aesthetic. This is reflected in the architecture of the Coredo buildings, which incorporate elements of traditional Japanese design alongside modern features. Coredo Muromachi, one of the buildings in the complex, has a facade that is inspired by traditional storehouses, known as “kura,” a nod to the district's mercantile heritage. Inside, it houses a variety of shops and restaurants, many of which specialize in traditional crafts and gourmet foods, offering a contemporary shopping experience that honors the historical significance of its location.

IMPROVE YOUR STAFF TRAINING!!!! Tasaka at Jins on 3rd floor has the worst attitude and service. She’s very unwilling to communicate even of we tried our best using all the translators and Japanese words we know. I’ve been to Japan four times. Tasaka is definitely the worst Japanese staff I’ve ever encountered. This was the worst part of my trip. Unfortunately there’s nowhere I can find to report this issue on your website. She definitely need extra training about being polite and patient to customers.

There are many restaurants that excite your palate. Not hungry? No problem, cafes give you a great caffeine fix and somd sweets for that afternoon break. Ther a place for food lovers, too. I loved my visit to this new modern building a short walk from the East-side of Tokyo station. (Opened in 2016.) Not only does it have the wonderful Chuo City Tourist Information Center on the basement level (B1), there was a great museum-like display from Toysclub.co.jp of memorabilia. I found it really fascinating with certain displays focused on American toys and American history. Of particular interest was the display featuring JFK and Marilyn Monroe. (Interesting there was no reference to Jackie Kennedy!). Building has 34 restaurants/shops to visit and the open architecture is beautiful and very airy...at least it was on a cool Autumn day. Loved touring the lower floors and will definitely be back to visit again!

(Translated by Google) Ginza Inns is a short walk from Nishi Ginza Department Store. ``Taishoken'', which is famous for its ramen, is located in Inns 1. This place has always been here. Nowadays, there are a lot of changes in stores, but for some reason I feel relieved when I see Taishoken. I think the clothes at Inns 1 are easy to buy because they aren't too expensive. It seems like there are a lot of similar shops, but I think that's because they all carry the latest trends. I think the cosmetics shop here is a new one. The staff will not approach you right away, so you can take your time and make your selections, so you can feel at ease. At a cosmetics shop, when a salesperson talks to me, I get anxious and feel like I have to make a decision, so I'm very grateful. The restaurants at Inns 1 are also recommended. Cross the road from Inns 1 and continue straight to Inns 2. There are many shops similar to Yasari. Tasty vegan junk food. We had a salad and the teriyaki burger and the spicy burger. I'm not sure it's as healthy as they claim, given that there must be a lot of UPFs used, but it's good for a treat.
David S — Google review
Good selection of restaurants, otherwise fairly standard mall for the area.

No decent sandals for men. Good models were only for children.

I highly recommend you take a look down here, especially if you are in Tokyo in August and need somewhere to escape from the Heat. Or if you are hungry, good decisions come down here and take a look around. You will not only not be hungry anymore, if you eat here, you will suddenly become extremely happy and never want to go home, perhaps. You know, because every single thing here is amazing.

Shopping mall mainly for clothes, seems to have been hype, but is aging now. Still interesting stores inside. Not the fanciest, but remains clean and nice.
Thomas R — Google review
Excellent restaurants are here.
