Nestled in the heart of Dalat, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa is a stunning retreat that beautifully marries history with luxury. This enchanting sanctuary features 17 elegant villas, each showcasing exquisite French architecture from over a century ago. Guests can indulge in delightful Vietnamese and Western cuisine at Le Petit Restaurant, which prides itself on using fresh local ingredients and produce from its own organic garden.
Staying at this resort is like living in a dream. The staff are amazing especially at the front desk (they helped us so much!). I really felt so relaxed. Their breakfast and afternoon tea was great and the coffee they served was the best I’ve ever had. Even long after our checkout when we were waiting for our Grab to the airport, they came to give us hot tea. Also delicious - I now love artichoke tea after having it there. Thank you so much Ana Mandara team 💕 Will definitely be coming back one day.

This place is special and full of history. I’m very happy that i signed up the free late-afternoon tour – the staff will drive you around the resort property and tell you the stories behind the villas, which makes you appreciate the place even more. It’s clear they’ve been very intentional about preserving the atmosphere instead of turning it into just another modern hotel. The location is great: close to the city center, but once you’re inside the resort it feels like you’re tucked away in nature. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. If you prefer something modern and flashy, this might not be for you. But if you like vintage charm, history, and staying somewhere that feels authentic and cared for, this is the place.

Great place to stay while in Dalat! The breakfast buffet was well stocked with everything you could want — from different types of breads and cereals to freshly made pho on request. The bar’s happy hour from 3–6 pm was a nice touch, and the restaurant served excellent food as well. The on-site gym was basic but had everything you’d need for a short stay. Our room came with a smart TV, so we could easily cast YouTube or Netflix when we wanted to relax. A special thank-you to Phuong Trinh, who helped set up a beautiful proposal for my fiancée — it couldn’t have gone more perfectly. Overall, the service was outstanding and made our stay truly memorable.
Naythan R — Google review
The resort itself feels a bit dated. Its mountain location is peaceful and quiet, but several areas could use improvement and better maintenance. The bathroom floor always gets wet when showering, and the overall service from the hotel staff doesn’t quite meet the standards of a 5-star resort. The check-in and check-out experiences lacked a warm welcome. The villa I stayed in was near the restaurant and the pool, where music played throughout the day. It was quite noisy, and I couldn’t take a nap without earplugs. Considering the price, I would recommend looking into other hotels in Da Lat instead.
Gary — Google review
We loved the garden cottage feel of our room and the level of service and attention. The bed was huge and comfortable, there was plenty of space to unpack. We were greeted with fruit and our daughter loved the kid play room on site. We thought the pinecone to signify wanted a sheet change) was cute as well as the open or closed eyes for privacy. Our favorite part was getting a massage at the spa. She was able to fix a tweak in my back and played a singing bowl that she sat on different parts of my back which was a first time experience for me. The location was pretty great as well while feeling remote.
Stephanie M — Google review
With a new “luxury” hotel popping up almost every week in Đà Lạt, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa remains the last stronghold for the discern. Originally built in 1920s as a summer retreat for the ‘bourgeoisie’ of Indochina, Ana Mandara preserves Đà Lạt’s authentic charm through 17 beautifully restored French villas, spread across an expansive pine-covered hill in prime urban estate. The design and service, while understated, were well intentioned without being pretentious: Evening turndown? Checked; His and his basins? Checked; Shower slipper (for the cold tiles)? Checked; Wifi-ed airport transfer? Checked.
Scott N — Google review
If you after a modern hotel with top notch facilities to stay in Dalat, this might not be the one for you. Ana Mandara will bring you back to Dalat in 1920s with all of its charms. Great place to relax and stay away from busy life style, nostalgic ambience, historical value and superb service. Everything, every corner, all at once !

Our family (2 adults and one toddler) came to this place. They immediately suggest to craft us a cridle for our child. And even before we find difficulties going around units, they also suggest us to use golf cart to move. Very thoughtful and heart warming

Hotel
Nestled in the Vietnamese Black Forest at an altitude of 1,500 meters, Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa is a luxurious five-star property offering a regal and elegant experience. The resort features various villas with stunning lake views and boasts four dining options, a spa, and three tennis courts.
Stayed one night in the Junior Suite with Lake View, and the room was huge! The room was clean and luxurious, and the we had a cake and some fruit to welcome us, which was a nice touch. It’s a little out of the way of amenities like shops and restaurants, but perhaps that’s an inevitable price to pay for the tranquility of staying at a resort in the middle of nowhere. Before 5pm there’s activities such as kayaking and some sports, but during the night there’s pretty much nothing to do besides a sports room near the reception with free table tennis and billiards, and an unheated swimming pool. The restaurant was really pricey, but the free breakfast had a good spread. The surroundings are really beautiful, and a walk along the lake is peaceful. Peacocks freely roam the grounds, but we never got to see one open their fan. While the resort offers a free shuttle bus to and from the city centre, the timings are really awkward (pickup at 12pm at the city centre, and at 2pm at the resort, when it makes a lot more sense to be the other way around).
Jeremy H — Google review
I stayed at the Da Lat Resort in Vietnam from November 3rd to 5th. This classic French-style villa resort has a beautiful environment. I visited it 10 years ago and the environment is exactly the same, unchanged. There was a pleasant surprise: I saw peacocks.
Chiang P — Google review
Nice place with great views! The view is beautiful. There’s a sports area where you can play games like basketball. You can also enjoy a nice walk along the river. There’s a pool too, but the water was a bit cold. Overall, a relaxing and fun place to stay!
Trang L — Google review
First and foremost - the hotel charges surcharge for kids despite booking the hotel where the kids age was mentioned clearly and it was mentioned kids stay for free - it’s a lie. (they will charge a kid per day VND350k) Tip here - book the hotel without the kid if you are traveling with kids as they anyways would charge separately for kids Hotel is definitely a good one , no doubt - great service and awesome location and views Breakfast - If you are a Halal food seeker (and for Indians), options are very less - mostly pork dishes. Some chicken options would have been better- otherwise you need to manage with omelette and bread The hotel also gives travel to city centre 3 times a day , but the driver is very strict in stopping only at the designated places and also if you are okay with the driver recommended restaurant he will drop you to the restaurant. The timings are a bit odd , they can increase the number of services.

Da Lat Edensee is a gem in the moutains. The location and amenities are of the highest quality. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are superior with elegant furnishings. I must mention Bui le Giang Tien, she always made me feel welcome and comfortable. Her english was refreshing and helpful. The breakfast buffet was full of delicious choices. A must stay if coming to Da Lat!
Docbardwell — Google review
On this place we ate the best and most delicious food in our trip to Vietnam, for dinner we order the set 2, totally recommended, the amount of food is for more than 2 persons and we good very full. The breakfast is all you can eat and it was also amazing. On this place the welcome drink is artichoke tea, one of the most delicious tea i have ever drink. You also got welcome fruits at your room, we eat too much in this hotel indeed. The place is also very beautiful and have many activities to do, like kayak, archery, etc. You can also have afternoon tea on this hotel. The rooms does not have air conditioner, bt we didn't feel we need it even in summer as the place is already cooler. The only issue is that in the toilet the water had bad smell and there was a leakage, everything else was perfcect. The staff it is also super kind and helps you a lot, they can speak english too.

Enjoyed our stay, 5 star service. Thanks Nguyen Bao Nguyen for taking care of us during our stay - he's gone extra mile to make sure we are taken care of. Nice and clean property.

The vote staff were nice and welcoming. The breakfast was good. However, the location was too far and for me it was a bit of an issue.

Nestled in the heart of Tuyen Lam Lake valley, surrounded by pine forests and an 18-hole international standard golf course, Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam exudes a European charm amidst the natural beauty of Da Lat. Guests can indulge in a perfect breakfast at the Swiss Cafe, relax in the sauna or take a refreshing dip in one of the two pools. The resort offers a serene and luxurious retreat with its sophisticated amenities including a spa, gym, and more.
such a stunning resort. really enjoyed my stay here - impressive views, beautiful and huge golf course, very attentive services and great food. location a bit far from city center
Mia N — Google review
The hotel in Dalat has an amazing view that’s hard to find anywhere else in Vietnam. My room had a window that looked right at the golf course, and the hotel’s design is inspired by European style, which was super cool to feel like in Europe. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the modern amenities. The staff was super friendly and professional. They even had a tea break with a variety of fresh fruit. And breakfast was amazing - they had a mix of western and Asian food dishes. I definitely plan to stay at this resort for my next vacation.
Bobby M — Google review
The service was very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful — the staff really make you feel welcome. However, the room itself was quite basic. Although it was advertised as having a mountain view, in our case it overlooked the parking lot with a few trees in the distance. The TV was very small and the connection wasn’t great, and the walls are extremely thin — we could hear almost everything from the neighboring rooms and hallway. Unfortunately, there was a wedding going on during our stay, so we experienced a lot of noise from the music and guests in the corridor late into the night. A lovely location with kind staff, but the experience could be greatly improved with better sound insulation and clearer expectations about the room features.
Judith F — Google review
This is not a place for those who prefer walking distance to Da Lat center as it is quite secluded and takes time to commute between locations. The hotel offers free shuttle bus to town though. Yet if you truly look for a getaway and want to be fully immersed in the nature of Dalat, this hotel offers an amazing view looking over the pine forests and hills. Its golf course is also great. The room was clean and comfortable. There was some smell of humidity when I checked in but the staff were nice and accommodating so they helped get rid of the smell with lemongrass air diffusion. The breakfast buffet was alright, which I think is the only thing that could be improved to make it perfect.
Tuong N — Google review
Oh man, staying at Swiss-BelResort Tuyền Lâm? Total game-changer. Legit, I’m still thinking about those mountain views—like, are they even real? Place is so chill, I swear my brain just unplugged for a bit. Exactly the kind of escape I needed. But for real, the staff’s the secret sauce here. Shoutout to Mr. Hiếu (the concierge champ) and the front desk crew—Trang, Diem, Quyên—absolute legends, all of them. They remembered my name, always looked genuinely happy to see me. You don’t get that vibe in most places, you know? Oh, and Ms. Thư, the hostess? Basically my dining fairy godmother. Helped me pick stuff from the menu, booked my tables, just made everything super easy. There was a restaurant manager, too—a bit of a mystery since I missed his name—but props to him for the solid veggie food recs. Guy clearly knows his stuff. Don’t even get me started on housekeeping. Quyên was on another level—my room? Impeccable. I’m actually kinda messy but she had it looking like something out of a catalog every day. Honestly, it’s that next-level care from the staff that’s got me hyped for a repeat visit. I’m not usually the “write a sappy review” type, but, listen, Swiss-BelResort Tuyền Lâm is a no-brainer if you want killer service and a spot that straight up feels like paradise. Catch me back there soon, for sure.
Rahul B — Google review
All are good except the location, very very far from Dalat downtown. Good point is hotel offers free shuttle to downtown, it takes 30 mins travel by bus. Other than that, grab or taxi is impossible, you should have to book private car 1 day in advance if going to airport.
Hoang L — Google review
Hotel is located in Tuyen Lam far from the central of Da Lat. Foods in the breakfast is not good at all. Room is ok. Hidden gems in Dalat
Quang N — Google review
I had a wonderful stay at Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam! The views from the resort are absolutely stunning, with lush green hills and the golf course creating a serene and picturesque backdrop. The complimentary shuttle bus service to Dalat city center was super convenient, running on a reliable schedule and making it easy to explore the city without hassle. The staff were friendly, and the resort’s tranquil atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for beautiful scenery and great service!

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Dalat, Zen Valley Dalat is a charming 3-star hotel offering a serene retreat for couples. The quaint French colonial-style villas provide modern amenities and cozy furnishings, ensuring comfort and relaxation. With a beautiful hill view, the hotel's bucolic location just south of the city center offers tranquility and opportunities to explore the countryside. Guests can enjoy a restaurant/bar, spa with hot tub, library, and activities for kids amidst lush greenery.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful, with plenty of greenery, flowers, and trees create a peaceful atmosphere. The room was very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was generous, a wide variety of choices suit all tastes, though the coffee and tea could be improved a bit in terms of flavor. The location was also convenient, as it was close to the places we wanted to visit. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its lovely environment, cleanliness, and convenience!
Cheiro T — Google review
I got food poisoning from the Zen Valley restaurant, and two of our three days here were ruined. The hotel showed no care or concern for my well being at all, nor asked me if I needed any help. When we checked out they did apologise and offered our money back that we spent on that particular meal. However in my opinion both an apology and an offer of assistance should have come immediately upon them knowing of the situation. The staff were friendly, but the customer service is lacking. My impression is that the management here does not have a clear vision or motivate their staff. The bed was comfortable and we slept well (apart from the night when I was being sick). Even without food poisoning, what you get here is not worth the price they charge. Do not recommend.
Isabel G — Google review
Decided to book a last minute trip to Dalat and chose Zen Valley hoping for a quiet gettaway. PROS: We got a great corner room on the the highest floor (4th) with a beautiful view of the valley, lots of natural light, and airy spacious ambiance. I really appreciated the natural aesthetics and design elements of the room. Also, the front desk and the valet attendant were kind and helpful. For $55 usds a night, it was worth the value. CONS: The soundproofing in the room is completely lacking. The noise from the next door room and the nightly karaoke in the valley was a bit overwhelming. Luckily, we were on vacation so we just chalked it off as people are enjoying themselves. The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. Surprisingly, they had all the things westerners love: bacon, sausage, egg station, etc. They even had a nice selection of fruits and salad bar. However, the hot food selections were lacking. Maybe 2 or 3 choices available a day. Its the ambiance and lighting of the dining room, though that needs the most work. Its quite dim and gloomy and a bit haunting. If you choose to stay here, try to get a top floor balcony room. Also, bring earplugs and dont expect too much for breakfast. Check out the yogurt shop directly across the street. The best in Dalat! Remember, this hotel is far from the city center so rent a motorbike. The staff here are friendly, too!
Hawaii M — Google review
Not close to the center but the atmosphere is very quiet, the staff is friendly and enthusiastic. There is a bathtub in the room quite large mountain view, breakfast is also very diverse and delicious, rooms range from 1,300,000 to 1,700,000 VND, the price is quite reasonable, not expensive. Many beautiful scenes, next time if I have the chance I will come back. Highly recommended

International standards, humble space, breakfast is amazing. Images are exact to what posted online.

Had a lovely time here. Beautiful view, nice pool, great breakfast, and the room was lovely. For the price, it's a great experience. The staff was very friendly, flexible and accommodating. I'm not sure why the pool closes at 5pm though, I'd have preferred to be able to swim later.
Tom B — Google review
The price is quite high compared to the room quality. In addition, the location is not very convenient for getting to the city center.
Jeremy D — Google review
Better then expected stay here, room was very spacious and comfortable. View from the room was amazing, you can see across the mountain range. Breakfast spread was decent, but their tea was just lukewarm for some reason. I would like my tea for breakfast to be hot especially when its about 14 degrees in the morning. Overall a very nice stay here, highly considered for our next trip back here.

Hotel
Terracotta Hotel & Resort Dalat is a luxurious retreat situated on a 17-hectare peninsula along the picturesque Tuyen Lam lake, just 6 kilometers from Dalat City. The resort offers 240 modern hotel rooms and 90 charming lakeview villas, blending contemporary architecture with the natural beauty of pine forests and mountains. Guests can indulge in upscale amenities such as a spa, dining options, tennis courts, a gym, and even karaoke.
Despite its age, this resort is still easily one of the best accomodations in Da Lat and a safe choice for all tourists. It has everything, great location with direct access to the lake, huge area with plenty of room and activity choices. The rooms are exceptionally well equipped, with even lowest rates have bathtubs.
Nhat H — Google review
I'm here now at the resort and I'm very disappointed, I've just woken up here at 3:30 sneezing, itching, my throat hurts and nose is very itchy. The dirty old carpets in this room is triggering my allergies. I'm very disappointed with how bad of condition these rooms are the rugs smell very dirty like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Sadly this is one of the worst resorts I've ever been to and to top it off the food yesterday was terrible and they served me food I was allergic to and the menu didnt have the ingredients. I cannot recommend this resort and won't comeback unless they update it, change the carpets and fix the walls in the room, it's tired and old looking and gives a very poor feeling. ***Edit*** This is day 2 of being sick here and laying in bed not able to go anywhere, sleep, breathe properly and having to pay grab drivers to deliver medication. I haven't received an apology or anything from hotel staff. They certainly show no care and a major lack of customer service. My wife which is a Vietnamese local found it very odd their behavior and no apologizes.
Aaron M — Google review
An amazing resort, with good facilities. The grounds are really well maintained and one could spend hours walking and relaxing amongst the gardens. The staff are very attentive and took the time to ensure my stay, and transport, was all finalised
Daniel M — Google review
Each morning, I thought I wake up with beautiful views but I saw trash bags on the yard instead. Why guests litter on a beautiful resort property. 2 days straight. Hopefully, tomorrow I won’t see trash on the yard in front of my room again.
Kim V — Google review
A room is a little bit old but it is still fine until I saw 2 spiders in the bathroom. It is defintely not clean at all. I have a baby and requested the baby cot. As it shows in a photo that I took, there was food and vomit still sticked on it. At the egg section on breakfast buffet, the staff who made omlet has hen feathers on his hand. The location and atmosphere are great but the service was disappointed!
Linh T — Google review
Absolutely loved the villa view! Everything is clean, tidy and staff super friendly. Location is very great just right by Tuyen Lam lake givin’ calm, chill and healing. Definitely be back again!

Crazy House, also known as Hang Nga Guesthouse, is a must-see attraction in Da Lat. Designed by Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga, this offbeat guest house resembles a surreal fairy tale with its unique architecture reminiscent of a giant tree. The design draws inspiration from nature and has been compared to the styles of Antoni Gaudi and Salvador Dali. Visitors can spend about an hour exploring the complex, admiring the winding bridges and sculpted elements throughout.
Visited as guest for sightseeing. Amazing design with go-wild creativity. Feels like a playground. Entrance fee is 80k per adult. Recommended for one-two hours visit. Especially on a gloomy day. Btw though some reviews mentioned but I couldn't find its tickets on klook.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in the Bear Room. I was expecting this to be a rather unique stay but it far exceeded my expectations. It’s a very charming place to spend a few nights. The staff are very warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the bear wasn’t even creepy to stare the room with at night - he was very cute around the clock! I knew to expect visitors passing by during the day and trying to get into the room and it didn’t bother us at all, it was part of the experience.

This place was one on my favorite spot in Vietnam, clearly they have a culture of sculptures (by the religion, art, etc) and this place I found it really unique. Be prepared to walk a lot and has so many stairs, so we spent a lot of time there. Even was turistic it felt really unique and was so cool the arquitect was a woman :) My friend and I enjoyed a lot our time there. This is a must if you’re in Dalat ! Probably I’ll get super early to avoid a large crowd. The only downside the staff were quite dismissive, you get use to the good hospitality in general in Vietnam and this place seems they are tired of tourist people, but we will give 5 stars anyway.
Emilia G — Google review
I visited not as a guest, but out of curiosity about this very impressive building and its structures. It turned out to be truly admirable — the creativity that must have gone into making it is mind-blowing. Although I thought it was great, it’s a shame that you can’t pay for tickets using a credit card or Apple Pay. It seems quite common here that only cash is accepted, which isn’t ideal for convenience.

The name is on the lid, not the whole room, but ALL HOUSE WAS CRAZY!!! Amazing architecture done here and its a great experience to be able to wake up first thing in the morning and experience this while the sun is rising, without the crowd of tourists that arrive during the day. All staff were amazingly friendly/helpful/loved a chat. The only downside I can say is that the area gets swarmed by tourists during the day, but if you get out and explore the surroundings, it wont be an issue for you at all! 10/10.

We’ve been to this place 2. And loved it each time. It’s very qwerky- if you get vertigo you would not be able to enjoy it to the fullest. There are walkways across the tops of the building roofs. With concrete ropes to hold on to. There’s a room where the floor has a giant shark and a large octopus. It’s a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
Melissa S — Google review
The house was crazier than we had imagined! The older kids had a great time playing hide and seek, there is literally not a better place on earth to do this. Not suitable for those who cant climb stairs and small children (below 3yo) as the narrow windy staircases are not exactly standard step sized... and neither are the hand rails... We did not stay here. Too many stairs to get to your room, IMO.
Jessica L — Google review
Such an amazing history. The artist that created this place is amazing and truely inspiring. You may get a little lost and the stairs are high but if you take your time you will enjoy it. We spent about 1.5hrs there but could have spent 2 if it had not started to rain.

Nestled in the heart of Dalat, the Dalat Hôtel du Parc is a beautifully restored gem that exudes French colonial charm. Originally built in the 1930s, this elegant hotel offers guests a delightful blend of historical architecture and modern amenities. With 144 non-smoking rooms featuring wooden floors, air conditioning, and well-stocked minibars, comfort is paramount here. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning and take advantage of free parking during their stay.
Stayed here for 2 days during my visit to DaLat in March, the hotel lift is so old skool i love it. Room is decent fyi this hotel doesnt have aircon but its ok cos weather was pretty chill in March Staff at the groud floor bar was so nice i had a great time chatting with them. And they have a spa in the hotel ground floor, i would recommend it

The location is perfect - close to downtown and very walkable. The staff were nice and accommodating. I forgot the room key at the breakfast buffet and someone working in the restaurant returned the key to the reception. There’s a lack of parking space at the hotel itself. If the hotel’s fully booked, you might have to park at the Dalat Palace down the road and walk back to the hotel
Alex H — Google review
This is a charming heritage hotel in a great location of Da Lat center. The room was clean and elegantly decorated. Yet the hotel is on the main street so it could be a bit noisy at night due to the vehicles. Staff members were friendly and supportive. They proactively offered help without you asking for. The breakfast buffet wasn’t too impressive for the 4-star standard but the food taste good and they tried to flexibly offer different options every day.

We stayed on 21/12/2024. My room was 312. The management is terrible, hotel is crampy, noisy and loud. 8PM-11PM guests on floor below room 211, 212 local group were partying and drinking, we complained to staff, nothing was resolved. 1AM-3AM, room next door by Korean blasting the TV all night, we called reception, no answer; got out of bed ran down the reception to complain. Next morning I requested complained to hotel director, they told me next day he wil contact me. After 5 days no contact. Complete disrespect to my family. Worst hotel experience ever in Vietnam. EDIT 15/1/2025: After leaving a complaint online, we received a call from the hotel manager confirming a refund. Still no refund received. EDIT 24/1/2025: Still no refund received. Hotel said they refund to Traveloka, although I booked through Agoda. Hotel said it takes 60 days for refund. What a waste of time and imcompetent management. EDIT 3/2/2025: The management has reimbursed the cost of stay. Well appreciated.

Clean room and staffs are very nice. Breakfast is OK. old hotel from 1932 but seems like it's already renovated
Nhung N — Google review
A great stay with nostalgia. We booked 2 rooms for a few nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The heritage of the hotel was the main reason for selecting the hotel and from that perspective, we were not disappointed. The facade of the hotel is beautiful and the functioning old elevator. The staff at reception and at breakfast (mostly student trainees) were very friendly. However it would be better if there was a manager around to ensure everything is taken care of at all times, including staff. We had lunch in the lobby lounge on the last day and the food was good value for money and well presented, though the club sandwich bread was quite small. The family rooms were quite small but expected for a hotel built in 1932 so no complaints. If the owners can invest in maintenance to retain the elegance and minor defects it would add value. As a hotelier in Vietnam, receiving real-time feedback and replying to guests (in-person and online) is an integral part of understanding and managing a successful business. We would return if coming back to Dalat.

Travelers coming to enjoy nature please take note before coming/booking: swimming isn't allowed because "people have died in it before," kayaks and sup boards are hard to come by, either you book a guided tour in the city center, however if you want to rent solo for 1-2 hours you still pay 300-600k (someone has lost their mind, renting a scooter for a day is cheaper). Additionally, large ugly resorts have gated off and developed a large part of the lakeshore, well other "hidden" areas are littered with trash, but if you can look past that fact and try to get closer to the water, I've been told locals will report you. So yes, this lake is romantic and scenic, however, it isn't what it seems. It did offer me a nice drive, although you can encircle the entire lake. Over all, this experience was so disappointing for a natural-born lake girl.
Amanda C — Google review
A very nice lake and a pleasant, but long walk from the city if you're up for a nice hike. Many sights to see on the way there. I didn't go out on the lake, just sat on the shore and enjoyed a coffee and the cool clean air. There are both paddle boats and others you can rent. You can also take a cable car up to Truc Lam Buddhist monastery from the lake, which is a very serene and beautiful site. I went there last year from Robin Hill. Great views from the cable cars.

Situated on five acres of picturesque hills overlooking Xuan Hong Lake, the hotel offers 43 refined rooms adorned with genuine antiques and period furniture. Dalat Palace is a truly stunning hotel that perfectly combines elegance, comfort, and history in the heart of Da Lat. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by beautiful French-inspired architecture and a peaceful atmosphere that feels both luxurious and charming. The service is exceptional – staff are attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food here is also remarkable, especially the traditional dishes like Pho and Bun Ca, which are flavorful and beautifully presented. Another highlight is the hotel’s prime location. Just a short walk or drive away, you can easily explore must-visit attractions such as Xuan Huong Lake, Bao Dai’s Palace, and the vibrant Da Lat Night Market. With its excellent service, delicious cuisine, and convenient location, Dalat Palace is the perfect choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Da Lat.

The Dalat Palace is the iconic heritage hotel to enjoy in Đà Lạt. The grounds and building are gorgeous - a treat to walk around. The rooms are comfortable and regal. The staff are the true highlight and I’m deeply grateful to Ms Nhã and Ms Nhi for the incredible customer service. They’re superb at their job, making guests feel welcome, comfortable and engaged, and they are an asset to the Dalat Palace. The hotel is an easy place to relax in some dignity and enter another world of Đà Lạt. The afternoon tea and leisurely breakfast are a treat. Thank you for a lovely stay. ❤️❤️

Steer clear unless you fancy a colonial cosplay in a sewer. We first stayed at Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel in 2014 and fell for its French-colonial elegance—savoring room-service breakfast on the lake-view balcony amid misty gardens. Those mornings hooked us for a return. As a frequent guest at 5-star properties worldwide, I'm sharing this repeat-visitor perspective to help others decide if it's right for them. Our October 2025 stay under new management was a magic-less nightmare from check-in, shattering our nostalgia. Stunning original architecture and views endure, but this relic begs urgent plumbing, sound insulation, and a new kitchen. Our 'royal suite' in the new 2017 annex reeked of sewer on arrival—drainage issues echoed in other reviews. The nauseating stench, plus the new annex's gilded French theme-park kitsch, clashed with the historical wing's authentic art-deco and colonial historical features. Noise assaulted nonstop: thumping music and street din blasted through from late afternoon till past 11pm, rattling windows and my skull. Our serene balcony? Nope—we escaped to a cocktail bar in town every night. Dining was subpar. Breakfast: overcooked eggs, stale pastries, limp fruits—eons from 2014's bespoke joy. Afternoon tea: a tepid buffet but stingy all at the same time. Dinner has declined sharply too. The lamb rack was under-trimmed and underdressed, loaded with gristly fat we left behind. The 'French onion soup' was overly chunky and bizarre, which tasted like the chef had never tasted a real French onion soup. In 2014, we ordered from an impressive cellar, including a memorable 1985 Chateau Chalon (photo still in hand). Now? Just five crappy commercial wines, and they even ran out of their one Dalat sparkling option. Insult piled on: a shampoo dispenser in the shower slipped off the steamy, slick shelf and shattered. Accident? Fine—but the 500,000 VND charge screams "cheapskate", underscoring how far this property has fallen. Staff? Wider language gaps than in 2014 (despite Da Lat's tourism boom). I had to follow up requests 2 days after first asking.

The hotel is quite comfortable, with heating and a very good night’s sleep. The staff and reception are friendly, quick, and very helpful. The view overlooking the lake is beautiful, and a big plus is the large garden with lots of ornamental trees. The old section’s interior and décor are beautiful and charming. However, the new area looks quite plain and lacks aesthetic appeal — sorry, but it feels a bit cheap (n fake flowers used for decoration in the rooms lol). Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choices. Afternoon tea includes both sweet and savory pastries, but not many options and quite average overall. 8/10

Indulged in a wonderful stay at a hotel that immerses you in nostalgia. Despite the slightly worn decor, it evokes the essence of French colonial charm. The spacious rooms offered a comfortable retreat. While the breakfast and high tea spreads were decent, the standout was the exceptional hospitality of the service staff. The hotel's proximity to the night market added to its appeal, and the picturesque view of the lake adorned with beautiful flowers was truly enchanting. Plus, enjoy a luxurious airport transfer in the Mercedes E-Class.Just a heads-up, there are no elevators, so be ready for some stair-climbing during your stay.

I enjoyed every day I stayed. The room condition was excellent, especially the bed and pillows were very clean and nice. Everything's as we expected, clean ,spacious and friendly. Staff are welcoming and very professional. Only downfall was the lack of hot water for showering and they seem to be at a loss as how to fix this problem. Yes I would certainly recommend this hotel.

i Think location in here is the worst, far from the square and the road is eerily quiet. There neighborhood is not bad, dont have any homeless or ppl will rob you or anything, it just give you a middle of nowhere feeling, like a haunted house. It's not a real 5-star hotel or maybe just Vietnamese standard. However, it's pretty boring to live in here

Room has good size, but looks depressing . The shower is in the bath tub, which is too hard to get in and out. Hotel is next to a farm or something, that you can smell the fertiliser! Too far from the central. No sound proof, we could hear all the noises outside the room. One good thing: good buffet breakfast.

Since he's a Da Lat local, he knows many good places to eat, so you won't have to spend too much time on looking for one 👍 We recommend his service if you plan on having a private tour with your family and friends at a fair price. The staff here are extremely rude and disrespectful. I am a guest staying at this place, but while I was out walking and taking some photos, a female staff member came over and prohibited me from doing so. I told her I was a guest and asked what rule in the hotel forbids guests from taking pictures while walking around the property. Her behavior and attitude were completely disrespectful to a paying guest! I would never want to return here again solely because of the poor service and the staff’s terrible attitude.

Great place for a retreat from the sweltering heat and the hard office work. We came for a weekend and were the only guests because Dalat was raining all the day long and many guests decided to postpone their stay. But we loved it! The grass hills and lake side pathways with fallen pine cones make perfect entertainment for a kid, she could play outside for hours regardless the rain and the wind. Food is good, not cheap but it can be expected in such a secluded place. The owner has a very friendly dog, golden retriever, super cuddly boy. The bed is a bit small (140cm), but there is a large sofa at the entrance. Overall impression is very good. The owner and designer are very thoughtful, refined and devoted people!

Oh and the dinner hot pot is super nice with fresh mushrooms and vegetables from the local farms!

Xuan Huong Lake, a crescent-shaped reservoir built in 1919 and named after an anti-establishment poet, offers a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere surrounded by green pine trees. It is fed by the Cam Ly Stream and provides a peaceful escape in central Vietnam's tourist-centric city. A peaceful, pleasant and very nice place to relax. People often come here to take photos or exercise, especially running around the lake. It can get a bit busy at times, though. There’re benches where you can sit and enjoy the view. Walking along the lake, you’ll occasionally find street vendors selling local Vietnamese desserts—usually around 20k each. Not exactly cheap, but it seems to be the standard price in the Dalat city center. There aren’t any gym equipment stations here —maybe they want to keep it a purely scenic and relaxing spot.

The heart of Dalat city - Xuan Huong lake is very nice and dreaming place. Where you can take a lot of the beautiful pictures.

Ho Xuan Huong, Da Lat Ho Xuan Huong is a beautiful spot to visit in Da Lat. The cool, crisp air around the lake makes it perfect for a relaxing walk, and the scenery along the lakeside is truly charming. With calm water, fresh breezes, and peaceful surroundings, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the city. Here are some actual footage on November 18, 2025

Xuan Huong Lake lies gently at the heart of Da Lat, like a soft ribbon draped across this dreamy city. In the early morning, the lake is calm like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and whispering pine trees. The air is cool and fresh, carrying the delicate scent of grass and flowers – the signature charm of Da Lat. People often walk or ride bicycles around the lake, or simply sit quietly by the water, breathing in the peace of the moment. As the afternoon fades, the golden glow of sunset falls over the surface of the lake, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere. Xuan Huong Lake is not only beautiful – it’s a place where memories are made. Whether it’s a warm cup of soy milk shared with a friend, gentle laughter in the mist, or a quiet moment alone with your thoughts – it’s the kind of place that stays in your heart.

A signature spot of Da Lat, known for its beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Walking along the lakebank in the early morning, you can really feel the calmness set in—it’s a great way to relieve stress. Highly recommended. However, please be careful not to stand too close to the edge. There have been accidents where people fell into the water and sadly lost their lives.

Such a pretty serene lake and must visit in Da Lat! It shows different shades of beauty in different time of the day.. We enjoyed early morning time more. If have enough time and staying in nearby accommodation, please take a walkaround the entire lake loop. Views are different from each side and breathtaking. We stayed few days for Christmas holiday and everyday used to spent good amount of time exploring different banks of it. At evening, hawker ladies sell bbq corns, shrimp, sweet potatoes which are delish. Can enjoy boat ride also. Current is really strong due to super windy weather, please be careful during boat ride

Valley of Love, located just 6 km from Dalat city in Vietnam, is a romantic park known for its whimsical art, ornate gardens, and a lake where visitors can ride swan-shaped boats. Surrounded by the charming Da Thien lake and endless pine forests, the valley offers a picturesque and poetic scenery that has made it a popular destination for marriage proposals and honeymoons.
Excellent peaceful park. There is an entrance fee. You should look at the map before exploring the area. You need to walk down to get a buggy. It will bring you around the area and have a stop at the miniature buildings in the world. The trees and flora are well kept and very beautiful. They even put animal sculptures along the areas. Awesome There is a museum with statues of famous people like trump, Beckham, mr bean etc

Very nice place and big. You have small buses to take you to the far places. Good experience. You have couple of options for the tickets. We took one that included the glass bridge and it cost us 400,000 dong.
מילנה מ — Google review
Tucked away just about 5 km northeast of the city centre of Da Lat (7 Mai Anh Đào Street, Ward 8, Lâm Đồng Province), the Valley of Love is a dreamy, romantic landscape that blends natural beauty, historical intrigue and leisure activities — ideal for couples, families and those wanting a reflective escape. Originally in the 1930s the area was known by the French as “Vallée d’Amour” (“Valley of Love”), because French-colonial couples used to come here for weekend outings. During the reign of Emperor Bảo Đại it was briefly dubbed “Valley of Peace” (Hoa Bình Valley). In 1953, under the initiative of the then-town council chairman Nguyễn Vy, the name was officially changed to “Valley of Love” (Thung Lũng Tình Yêu) as part of a wider movement to replace French-language place names. The valley is nestled among pine-covered hills and, following a dam constructed in 1972, a lake called Đa Thiện Lake was created in the valley floor which enhanced the scenic effect of water + forest + hills. Walking in, you’ll notice the broad lawns, the lake with swan boat rides, and the iconic “Love Lock” bridge where couples affix padlocks as a symbol of enduring affection. On the hill side, the trail up to Vọng Cảnh Hill takes you through pine forest and flower fields; from the top you’ll get sweeping views of the valley and lake below. The gardens often include hydrangeas, lavender, maze-gardens and themed statues for photography. For the more active, there are horse-rides around the meadow, cable wires, paintball, zip-line games, team-building areas and more. The Valley of Love delivers a relaxed, slightly whimsical vibe: the cool climate of Da Lat (average ~18-21°C) fills the air, the pines give a soft rustle, the lake reflects cloud and tree. For honeymooners or couples it evokes a gentle romantic escape; for families or friends it offers enough variety of activities. That said, if you’re seeking deep wilderness or solitude, you might prefer some of Da Lat’s less-visited corners — this valley is a popular and therefore well-developed destination, not raw wilderness. Getting there: From the city centre it’s a short ride; follow Mai Anh Đào Street toward Ward 8. Best time: Because of its elevation and forest setting you’ll get comfortable weather year-round; flower seasons (e.g., mimosa bloom) offer extra charm. Entry cost: As of recent reports the adult ticket can run around VND 250,000 (includes some rides) though children/discounts vary — always good to check current rate. Visitors should allocate at least 2-3 hours to wander the grounds, take photos, possibly ride a swan boat, and relax on the hill vantage point. Consider visiting earlier in the day to avoid crowds and to enjoy the light on the lake. The Valley of Love is exactly what its name promises: a scenic, tranquil spot in Da Lat where nature, history and romance merge. It is charming without being overly extravagant, accessible yet substantive. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a family outing or simply want to escape the bustle for a while, it offers a memorable stop. If I had one small caveat: as it is popular, some areas can feel a bit commercialised — but its natural setting still holds firm. A very worthy addition to any Da Lat itinerary.

Beautiful, popular well developed historic attraction. The large territory. Minibuses 🚐 use to move and look around the Park. Everything is well organised. Souvenirs shops, cafes, toilets 🚻, rest areas. The longest glass bridge 🌉 in Dalat for additional fees. A lots of replicated well known buildings, monuments and statues constructed here. Fresh air. I would really recommend 👌
VB A — Google review
If you are a tourist, do you waste your time here, utterly pointless, no proper flowers or something to look. Despite of the rain they sold the ticket with the glass bridge, which is not safe when its heavily raining with lightning. It’s absolutely nothing to see 400k VDN.in vain

The ticket seller was a fraud. He told us that there is a zipline for children and also Marriott cars. After I entered, it became clear that children cannot play on the zipline and also children cannot play on the Marriott cars.

Depending on time of year it can be very touristy and people push in front when waiting for the free buses. A bit tacky but the drinks and food are priced well.

Domaine de Marie, also known as Vinh Son Church or Mai Anh Church, is a landmark pink church located in a serene setting just 1km southwest of Dalat city center. Established in 1944, this architectural gem combines seventeenth-century European design with Vietnamese folk architecture. The church sits atop a hill and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, making it a unique and picturesque attraction in Dalat.
For those who are far away from home and sometimes you may think about relatives, friends, family, those who are still here and those who are no longer walking with you. I guess it is always appreciated to share your thoughts and give them a sign of gratefulness and to protect them wherever they may be. As a church, no ticket is needed, of course. If you want to walk there alone, I would recommend to avoid prays and Sunday time. Nonetheless, any time is decent to have a prayer and walk through the cross path.
Guimo-D B — Google review
This church stands out with its stunning and distinctive architecture. 🌸 The surrounding area is beautifully decorated with flowers that are iconic to the town, creating a perfect and harmonious atmosphere. A worth-visit spot for both spiritual reflection and breathtaking photos.

It’s a rainy Thursday in Dalat and we visited the Domaine de Marie church! It gives off French vibes and is very beautiful! French-Vietnamese colonial-style Catholic church and convent, characterized by its prominent deep pink exterior, tall triangular roof resembling a Central Highlands longhouse, and the presence of French-inspired stained-glass windows and European architecture. It combines the architectural features of Normandy, France, with the architectural elements of the indigenous ethnic groups. The complex also features a statue of Mary created in the image of a Vietnamese woman. It’s also observed to be one of the favourite tourist spot in Dalat, tour buses of visitors would drop by every few minutes.

The only place I personally recommend visiting in Dalat is here at Dalat Pink Cathedral. It is highly recommended to spend a quiet time here in the cathedral, leaning back elsewhere. It maintains the architectural style of the French colonial period and allows you to enjoy your thoughts while breathing in the clear air.

Linh Sơn Pagoda is a serene Buddhist temple located on a hilltop surrounded by picturesque scenery and pine trees. Unlike the bustling Linh Phuoc Pagoda, this temple offers a tranquil atmosphere, making it perfect for a peaceful stroll through its immaculate gardens. Constructed between 1936 and 1940 with contributions from Buddhists worldwide, the pagoda features typical East Asian architecture and houses a 1250 kg bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Peaceful, majestic, mystic, powerful, outstanding, and highly recommended whenever you have hour of free time just to wander around Linh Son Pagoda. I encountered Hun, one of the professional gardeners of the Pagoda with whom we could have a conversation about the Pagoda and its feelings towards his dedication and hard work towards the house of Buddha. You may also cross path with him, and you'll definitely know that it's him. Wearing a traditional hat and rubber gloves, humble and yet the largest smile i got to see from a vietnamese person. Born on the 4th of June 1953, he showed me the way to the other side of the Pagoda where some pictures and videos had been taken. Hope you will go there and get the experience that is unique, profound, and unforgettable.

Very beautiful pagoda located in Da Lat. Well maintained and clean, very colorful. I really enjoyed walking the site, and feel the calm of this place. We went late afternoon/start of evening and it is very pretty with the lights. Dont skip this beautiful place.

Chua Linh Son is a rather nice pagoda within the DaLat main city region and is most frequently visited by tourists. Although it is nice and interesting, with a lovely multi-storey stupa located in the rear garden, there are better (and more visually splendid) pagodas located within the city's region (eg. Thiền viện Vạn Hạnh & Chua Linh Quang) Please be polite when visiting ANY Buddhist pagodas and dress appropriately (basically cover knees and shoulders of both males and females)....all too often I see foreign tourists wearing shorts and/or tanktops (males) and short skirts/shorts and/or tops that reveal the shoulders (women).

Peaceful setting. Came in the evening, so the area was a bit dark. However, the setting with incense and chanting was inspiring.

A peaceful and sacred temple in the heart of Da Lat I had the chance to visit Linh Son Pagoda early one chilly morning. The atmosphere was calm and quiet — a perfect place to reflect, offer prayers, and practice mindfulness. The architecture is simple yet beautiful, showing the elegance of Northern Vietnamese Buddhist tradition. There was a morning chanting session when I arrived. Everyone was sitting respectfully and mindfully, creating a very serene and spiritual energy. I felt truly grounded and peaceful just by being there. The monks are kind, and local devotees are welcoming and helpful. This is more than just a temple — it’s a place to come back to yourself. 👉 Highly recommended for anyone seeking spiritual peace and a deeper connection while in Da Lat.

Fantastic place. The managers are very kind and useful, with a sense of humor also. Let them ask taxi for is better than you do, coz most driver here don't really understand English.Landscape is attractive, girls can take pictures for a whole morning if not raining.

The lady receptionist was very much impolite, unskill and unprofessional service. She didn’t response answerring guess even when I ask for calling taxi twice she also not wearing uniform properly, Dalat is a very cold city, and yet she was wearing a dress which can not be any shorter, and putting her foot on the chair during the working time even though it is rate as high class villa- hotel. Rudely interupted us during making comversation with very bad attitude. It is very EASY to find an empty receptionist desk during the normal time. What a pity for a lovely villa-hotel with such a horrible receptionist. Breakfast is acceptable but the waitress at restaurant is unfriendly and lack of enthusiam. By the way, Garden is nice with a lot flowers, quiet and good location for relaxation.

Nestled in the heart of Dalat, Mercure Dalat Resort is a charming French-designed retreat with a rich historical heritage. The resort offers 131 rooms and suites across five different types, blending expert service with modern amenities. Surrounded by lush gardens, the resort provides a romantic ambiance and is conveniently located near local attractions. Guests can enjoy garden views from their elegant rooms, some of which feature terraces and ample natural light.
As an ALL Accor Diamond member, I must say Grand Mercure Da Lat truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the team recognized my membership status and went above and beyond to make me feel valued. The warm welcome, thoughtful touches, and personalized service really highlighted the level of hospitality that makes Accor properties stand out. The hotel itself is stunning – a perfect blend of French colonial charm and modern comfort. My room was spacious, elegant, and very well maintained, with beautiful details that gave it a luxurious yet cozy feel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, and the staff made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The location is also ideal: peaceful and relaxing, yet close to all the main attractions in Da Lat. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to help. We requested some light breakfast to take away for our early morning sunrise hike, and the team kindly prepared more than enough food for us to share with our group. Special thanks to Vinh and Hiep at the front desk for their friendliness and thoughtful service. Highly recommend this resort — we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is beautifully designed with charming decorations that match Da Lat’s atmosphere. The room size is comfortable for a family, and the food quality is impressive. Facilities are generally good, though some are less practical for the highland climate. It would be great if the resort could add a heated indoor pool, as the outdoor one is too cold to use most of the time. There’s also no executive lounge, which would make the experience more complete. Overall, a satisfying stay with great potential for improvement.

Following a wonderful event at the hotel, we decided to book a family room for the night. Special thank you to the Hotel Manager for arranging this, and a big thank you to Nguyễn Văn Vinh (Assistant Office Manager) for the thoughtful touches in our room and for looking after us during our short stay. All the staff greeted us with warm smiles, and the facilities throughout the grounds were exceptional. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this so-called 5-star hotel. During breakfast, sparkling wine was served. I took a quarter bottle to my table, confident I would finish it. Shockingly, a staff member came to my table and demanded the bottle back in an unfriendly and humiliating manner. Later, when I went to the wine station for another glass, the same staff member opened the bottle. I politely said thank you, but instead of any courtesy, I was met with a cold stare and the dismissive words: “close after use.” The atmosphere was unfriendly, rude, and far from the world-class hospitality one should expect from a luxury hotel. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt insulted and uncomfortable. This is not the level of service I expect when staying in a five-star property. Truly disappointing.

Rooms- windows don't seal. Saw mosquitoes literally everywhere. Had to request maintenance twice to fix the toilet hose gun. Room was nice looking but cramped. Bed was uncomfortable and old, didn't sleep well on it. Breakfast served was ok. Got so bad I ended up leaving early for a different slightly more modern hotel as bug bites are a huge issue for me. Location was decent, up on side of a hill near some okay restaurants and shops. Wouldn't call the location amazing though. BIGGEST COMPLAINT: The elevator: Why are you doing maintenance on an elevator at 5pm when your guests want to use it?? Like get your staff to clean or repair it at literally any other time? I was exhausted from walking around after checking in, and then I was expected to walk 6 flights of stairs to my room cuz your staff can't find a better time to repair or fix the elevator? Honestly I can't find any reason to recommend this hotel to anyone unfortunately.
Alexei L — Google review
The hotel outside is very beautiful but staying overnight was horrendous. I think due to the age of the building, there is a lot for the hotel to consider to improve. The rooms were cold and moist. There was no heater option and no bath tub. I understand that that’s how it use to be and it still is, however, the price that I paid for was not worth the experience. 90% of the time, the bathroom was soaked. We had to keep everything outside and maneuvered toiletries (towels, toilet paper, q-tips) in and out to keep them dry. The ceiling and walls had dead mosquitoes and molds. It felt damp and cold all the time. Fortunately, the staffs are nice and gave us towels every time we asked. They also gave us an extra blanket, when we requested it. Another note to the hotel, room 011, there is a leak from the window. After the rainfall, we wake up to a soaking table. Luckily we were not charging our phones during that time. Lastly, please be aware to not plug in your electronics in the bathroom because the shower head sprays onto the outlet! The hotel rooms need more electric outlets. The hotel could have been an amazing experience if they would consider updating / renovating it. It has potential. Sorry, but the 1 star credit goes to the hard working staffs and not the stay. Thanks.

The Lake House Dalat is a charming lakeside hotel offering warmly decorated accommodations and a relaxed restaurant. Situated near Tuyen Lam Lake, it provides an affordable yet cozy and peaceful stay. Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and even rent scooters for adventure or visit a nearby monastery for tranquility. The basic yet serene cabins offer delightful food, good company, and breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.
The place is breath-taking & filled up with hospitality! I spent a night here by myself, and everything was on spot. The hosts are friendly and supportive, the view from the bedroom is so peaceful and mesmerizing, and the place is super tranquil. There are different options of room for you to select, but highly recommend go for the Goo House to fully enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely will have another shot here!!

My main gripe here is that my comforter, bed, pillow were all damp. My comforter and bath towel provided smelled of mildew. I had intentions on staying longer than one evening, but I was not comfortable at all for primarily this reason. I was pretty transparent via text that the duration of my stay was contingent on my comfort. I found it very hard to sleep and I was having an allergic reaction to the mold/being wet. This is a more rustic experience and it is rainy season, so I am empathetic. They insisted that I pay for three nights up front. I found this strange. I have been in Vietnam 6 months and I can’t recall a time there has been an issue with me paying for one night at a time. They usually insist paying the total at the end of my stay. I had a good impression of the place, so I didn’t think it would be an issue. I don’t enjoy confrontation, but I decided pretty early in the evening I did not want to stay here an additional 2 nights. I let staff know this very early in the morning (after I was woke up by someone in my dorm screaming on their phone at 5:59 am — not their fault, but know that you hear everything that goes on in this building). I asked to be refunded for the two nights I wasn’t planning on staying. They only gave me my money back for one night. I found this extremely unfair and made that clear. I’m not going to argue over such a minuscule amount of money, but I felt extorted and will make my unpleasant experience known. There was no mention of breakfast or family dinner prior to or at check in. I read this information via a third party app. I would have really appreciated knowing that these services were available for a fee. I asked if I could join for breakfast at 8:30 pm the evening before and they replied three hours later no, it has already been prepared. I also noticed my bunk was cheaper on the third party app — I felt disappointed, as I had booked directly and usually that benefits both the guest and the hostel. The curtains on bunks could easily be fixed to provide more privacy for the guest. The shower was not warm. The dorm room is quite small and I imagine would be very congested if fully booked. I would be able to look past these things if they would have just refunded me my money for the nights I didn’t stay. The location and common areas are beautiful, facilities are clean enough. The customer service could be improved… strange vibes. :/

The staff at The Lake House Dalat are all incredibly kind. The vegan food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is amazing. It’s my favorite place in Dalat. A quiet space where I can spend time reflecting on myself. The people staying here are also wonderful. Thank you so much.

On of the best hostels I’ve been in Vietnam! The hosts are so nice and warm hearted 🫶🏼 Clean rooms, clean bathroom, AMAZING VIEW, cute cats, free water & free tea! Nice spots to chill outside & inside. There is also coffee, breakfast, lunch & dinner available 😋 I had the breakfast and it was very good! And a fair price!

Beautiful coffee shop right on the side of the lake. Prices are a little bit high, but the food and drinks were high quality, so it's worth it. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a chill atmosphere with a view.
Sean L — Google review
Excellent place to disconnect from the busy life of the city, the staff is very attentive and helpful, you really feel like being at home, the meals are delicious and traditional, in case you want to order food from the town, the Grab app will take you without problems, just like if you don't have a motorcycle and want to go to town, the motorcycle grabs can take you. There is also a small snack shop a few meters away.

Super friendly staff and amazing location. Sadly we were only there for one night. Of you're afraid of cats this is not the place to be.

It is a lovely place, by the lake, wonderful views from the cafe and rooms. Breakfast is not included but it's a good price. I also recommend trying dinner it's delicious and good size portions. The only downside is that at the moment they're doing construction work next door and it can be quite loud and unpleasant.

Everything is perfect ! The rooms are nice and clean, the garden gives a lovely fresh vibe and chill every time I wake up early in the morning with hot cup of coffee. The breakfast is tasty as always especially the home made yogurt. 10 out of 10 for such a wonderful homestay villa !

Everything is just truly amazing in this homestay. There was a welcome message for us as we were ushered in. There was always bananas and coffee for us to savor. ❤️ The rooms came with simple but comfortable themes. We even had names on the doors that made us really special. We especially enjoyed the grand and spacious common areas on the ground floor (with piano) and on the last floor (fireplace and book corner). It features a serene garden with a pond which makes it a nice view from some of the rooms. Parking is also not an issue and we were able to park inside the compound making it a safe place. They allowed us to feel at home while having the full support of the staff, with the barbecue night as the highlight. ☺️ We thank you so much for memories made in this impressive and well-maintained homestay. 👌🏼

Amazing place to stay over night. Quiet and clean for who needs some peace atmosphere. Simple but warm in the room and bathroom. Even though there is no TV in the room, there is the stereo for phone or iPad with quite good sound effect. And on 3F, there is a huge room for rest and some fun with sofa, TV and books. It is also comfortable and relax decorating in lobby.

Located in the heart of Da Lat, QA Hotel Chợ Dalat- City Centre offers a convenient base for exploring the scenic surroundings and top tourist attractions. The city center is small yet full of romantic charm, making it an ideal location for travelers seeking easy access to key sights. While some guests found the rooms compact, they appreciated the cleanliness and hot water availability.
Elders friendly. Clean room, allowed to use kitchen utensils. The receptionist so kind to find eggs for our additional food. Premise near to restaurants, market, flowers nursery. Friendly communities.

I’m not even going to talk about the fact that the room is got looked nothing like the pictures. Asked for a room for two nights, they gave me a dirty room. I asked them to clean the room and after waiting for half a day I got back to (still) a dirty room. They offered me to move to bigger room and asked for extra money for the bigger room like it’s my fault that it wasn’t clean properly!!! After i told them that I’m not going to pay extra money for it the guy at the reception (i think his name was Tin or something like that) was laughing in front of me while talking to his boss about the situation on the phone. The most disgusting disrespectful behavior i ever experienced in a hotel and im traveling for five months now.
Maia P — Google review
The room for 2 people was small, tiny. Actually the smallest room I've been to in Vietnam. Maybe 7 or 8 m2. Just bed, with 2 tiny pillows. For this price, 350k, could be better. Room has no ac or heater with a window to ventilation shaft. Pros: Very good location, room is clean, hot water, friendly staff.

Highly recommended New hotel, Very very Clean bedding, towels, well kept. Try to get a Front facing Family room, it has lovely Large full length windows with entire view of Cho Dem(night market) and side view of the Lake. Lots of nice food easily /opposite the hotel within 10 minutes distance.

The receptionists (met two during our stay) hardly spoke/understand any English. Most of the time, they were just surfing YouTube. Basic room. No Aircon. No coffee/teas provided. No bathroom mat - why? 3 pillows for 2 pax. 3 hangers for 2 pax. 1 key per room. Walkable to night market.
Jane X — Google review
Solo traveler, and I stayed in the standard single room. - Location: Great, right beside the road to walk down to the lake - Room: small but good for just one person or a couple. The bed was very comfy and slept very well on it. All of the furniture looks new and modern. The shower was great too! Also my room didn’t have windows to the outside but I didn’t mind that as the price was reasonable. If you have a motorbike you rented from one of the shops nearby, you can park it in front of the hotel. - Some improvements: floor feels a little dirty, otherwise nothing much. For those who needThe Wifi was mostly strong and reliable. I needed a reliable internet connection for work and there was no problems. There were moments when it went in-and-out when I was playing games on my phone, but wasn’t an issue. On a last note, the staff were friendly especially the younger guy who works in the morning. He was nice enough to help me book a bus to Nha Trang the same day when my van service cancelled my reservation due to lack of customers. You can also do laundry which costs 10/k per item if you only have a few delicate items to clean. I would stay here again.
Benjie B — Google review
I booked hotel here, but don't count that you will be able to have a room. I booked and prepaid with Agoda, I came to the hotel to check-in but the staff told me thay the hotel was full. This caused alot of trouble and headache with refund back, bad service because the hotel told me to call agoda myself and solve it instead of refunding or cancelling the booking themselves. If I cancel from agoda I will not get a refund. Had to make many calls with the agoda service to make this right again. The receptionist blaming the new staff that they didn't know how to run the hotel business and that's why I couldn't get a room. I walked 50 meter to the right of QA hotel and found a very friendly hotel dalat view hotel that was more fresh than QA hotel.

Nestled in the picturesque city of Dalat, Vietnam, the Dalat Railway Station stands as a testament to the region's French heritage. This historic station, dating back to 1932 and designed by renowned French architects Moncet and Reveron, is not only the oldest Indochinese station but also holds the distinction of being the highest in altitude within Vietnam at 1,500 meters above sea level.
Popular, a lot of local and international visitors. Bought tickets with return. Nice 30 min vintage train trip. Beautiful landscape with a lot of greenhouses. Manage your time at the destination point (Trai Mat Station) to visit some attractions - Linh Phuoc Temple, Arboretum Vuon Hoa Cam Tu Cau Moi or Cao Dai Temple of Da Lat. I would recommend 👌
VB A — Google review
The railway station is a charming spot to visit, though it has changed a bit since I was here two years ago. Back then, it was free and open to the public, but now there’s a small entrance fee, likely to help with maintenance and the lovely gardening. While there isn’t much to explore, it’s a great place for photos, especially with the vibrant flowers in the front and the iconic building in the background. Inside, you can check out the vintage train, which adds to the nostalgic vibe. There are also vendors selling handmade crafts, which makes for a nice touch. It’s a quick stop but worth visiting if you enjoy history and photo-worthy spots.
Jamie H — Google review
Would not waste time or money here unless you are a dressed up Vietnamese girl or bus tourist whose sole goal is to take innumerable selfies with the flowers out front. Literally any European train station is more architecturally impressive and better maintained. Station is gated off for entry without buying a ticket only to be granted access to go in.
Dasha P — Google review
If you take a private car to visit Chùa Linh Phước, the journey takes only about 10 minutes. However, we chose to travel by train, which took around 30 minutes. The experience was fantastic. The historic small railway station evokes memories of the colonial era. Today, the station is adorned with vibrant flowers, highly Instagrammable. While beautiful, the modern touches seem somewhat out of place compared to its old world charm.
Cheiro T — Google review
The journey is a classic 30-minute train ride, boarding at the old Da Lat train station. Seats are available for a fee, and you can experience the charming countryside of the old French town of Da Lat.

If you are not boarding tourist train , you have to pay entrance fee 50,000 VND , this station building is of western architecture with3 spikes, representing 3 peaks of Lambiamg mountain range. At front of station , there is flower garden , best place for check in and instagrammable . Inside, there is exhibition about the past of railway station and audiovisual Display about train travel in vietnam. Further to the platform, there are bogies and train, transforming into cafe, icecream and sweet shop and there is a place to boarding tourist train which takes about1-2hours for RT trip.

Has Some dummy racks and a steam engine

French styled station, not in use for passenger services but short tourist rides can be taken. Lovely old buildings and gardens. A token fee to enter, 5000 dong, worth the payment if your in the area. A couple of good cafes here, not overpriced and serving good coffee.

Nestled on a hill with stunning mountain views, Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery in Dalat offers a serene escape for those seeking tranquility and spiritual enlightenment. Surrounded by picturesque gardens and located near Tuyen Lam Lake, the monastery provides a peaceful setting for meditation and self-reflection. Visitors can also take a scenic cable car ride from Robin Hill to the monastery, enjoying panoramic views of lush valleys and pine-covered hills along the way.
This is one amazing and out of the world experience. It’s a must visit if you’re in dalat. You’ll experience real bliss and peace. The shrine as well as the flower gardens are magnificent and peaceful. The occasional chimes in the background feels really good A good place to sit and forget the busy life . The shrine has a beautiful life size of Buddha. A very picturesque place

Nice place. The monastery is located on Truc Lam Yen Tu Street, on the top of Phuong Hoang Mountain. About 5 kilometers south of the center of Dalat, it is an ideal location for visitors to come and explore. Truc Lam Zen Monastery also has an outstanding view of Tuyen Lam Lake - the most beautiful lake in Dalat, as it stands next to the lake and is surrounded by hills and forests. Truc Lam Zen Monastery’s opening hours are from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It is also open for people who want to stay here and learn about Buddhism. You can ask the monks or nuns here to be allowed to stay. Initiated by the Vietnamese government in an effort to restore and promote the teachings of Zen Buddhism and Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen School, Truc Lam Zen Monastery was built from 1993 to 1994 by Zen Master Thich Thanh Tu. This pagoda has harmoniously combined different Zen schools in the world with Vietnamese culture into Vietnamese Zen.

So beautiful and peaceful. I cried so many times. I’m thankful for the opportunity to experience the beauty of Truc Lam monastery. I visited on a spiritual and healing journey. Lots of tourists here for photo ops. The grounds ate big enough to escape them for solitude, if you desire.
Mommy P — Google review
Lots of people even on a weekday but still felt peaceful as the space is big enough. The temple itself there is nothing much to see. The garden is well maintained and very nice landscape. Spent about 30mins here. If entrance is not free I don't think it's worth a visit. After visiting the temple, I walked to nearby Tuyen lam lake. If you go to see the lake first, it is not recommended to come here as it will be a uphill walk.
Pauline L — Google review
The Bamboo Forest has a stunning view of Tuyen Lam Lake—widely regarded as the most beautiful lake in Dalat. Nestled beside the lake and surrounded by rolling hills and forests provides a peaceful retreat in nature. Admission to the temple is free. While the Dalat cable car is the most scenic way to get there, you can also drive, as there is a parking area nearby. For the best experience, consider renting a motorbike or hiring a car with a driver for the day, allowing you to explore the picturesque surroundings of the lake after visiting the monastery.
Cheiro T — Google review
Monastery was beautiful with incredible nature and bonsais surrounding it. My wife and I were able to do some pretty good birding around the monastery, seeing bulbuls, spider hunters, laughingthrushes, doves, drongos, mynas.
Kevin Z — Google review
Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Da Lat is a peaceful spot that blends nature and spirituality beautifully. Perched on a hill overlooking Tuyen Lam Lake, the monastery has wide courtyards, colorful gardens, and traditional Vietnamese pagoda-style architecture that feels calm and inviting. Walking around, you’ll notice the quiet atmosphere—it’s less about sightseeing and more about slowing down, breathing, and taking in the scenery. The view of the lake and pine-covered hills makes the whole place even more relaxing. It’s easy to get here by cable car or road, and it’s a good stop whether you’re looking for a cultural experience or just a serene break from Da Lat’s busy center.
Jay Z — Google review

Nearby attractions like Lam Vien Square, Da Lat Train Station, and French Quarter showcase French colonial architecture and offer great photo opportunities. For those interested in art sculptures, Clay Tunnel and Crazy House Da Lat are worth a visit.
Very near Dalat Market, super crowded. They have colourful rainbow rice, yoghurt drink Sua Gao Quan, handsome man grilling sausage which we actually revisited!! I’m drooling doing this review almost a month later. So delicious….🤤

Visiting Dalat Night Market was such a memorable experience – the cool weather, street food, and the sight of locals sitting along the roadside enjoying their meals gave us the real taste of Dalat life. We tried sticky rice with sausage, chicken floss, and lotus seeds – simple yet delicious comfort food. What made our visit extra special was the coincidence of a performance for Vietnam National Day 🎉🇻🇳. The steps in front of the market were filled with people, flags, music, and a festive atmosphere – truly a unique way to experience local culture. Beyond food, the market is also great for strolling, shopping for clothes, souvenirs, and flowers, or simply soaking up the lively evening vibe. 🌟 Tip: Wear warm clothes, bring cash, and come with an appetite – Dalat Night Market will not disappoint!

The Dalat Night Market is very lively and crowded. There are lots of food stalls, but many of them sell almost the same types of dishes and snacks. Besides food, you can also find clothes, puffer jackets, flowers, souvenirs, accessories, and local treats. It’s a nice place to walk around, enjoy the atmosphere, and try some street food, but don’t expect too much variety.

Loved this market! We have been visiting markets in Vietnam for several years and know that each market has its own vibe. We came 2 times. Once just to do a walk through (we did get a little lost), then to do a mini shop (those fabulous dried persimmons). The vendors were all very kind.

enjoyed the food but becareful of scammers we were scammed and was billed double the price. specifically for that picture of us sitting in the table and eating those we were charged 300k+ VND the i ask how much the noodles he said 100k i showed the price in the menu that shows 50k he said for small one but did not ask us if we want big or small.

This night market offers a variety of fruits, clothes, and snacks. However, the snack selection isn't very diverse. The prices are affordable, and you can easily find hot soy milk. It gets quite crowded on weekdays.

We went to this night market after we had dinner at nearbyHalal restaurant there. We just walk for 350m until the roundabout. They sell plenty of things including cloth, food, souvenir, fruits and many more. There are sellers who sells in a shop, and there are alsosellers who sell things on the ground. About the price, most of it is reasonable and you still can ask for discounts but for me its already cheap. For instance, a cute sling bag only sells at 20kVND which less than USD1. Most seller is kind and didn’t force you to buy unlike at HCM. The market is soolong and you might need to spend few hours if you like shopping. Please be careful with pickpocket. I like the ambience in this night market because theyhave a big space and can cater many buyers at the same time. I didn’t try any food here because most of it is non halal and there are some food with weirdsmell that I never smell it before. There is a toilet inside the starbucks building. also there is a photo booth you can take pictures there with yourfriends. there is a stairs where you can while enjoy the night market scenery. there are also many hotels along the night market. highly recommended to come ifyou are first timer in dalat.

“The natural scenery around the resort is absolutely wonderful. The villa was very clean, the price was reasonable, and the staff and services were excellent. Overall, I was very satisfied with my 5 days and 4 nights stay here and will definitely come back❤️🙏

At the villa, the room arrangement was unbalanced. The rooms for 3–4 people were tiny, while the rooms for 2 were much bigger (depending on the room). I stayed for 2 days but the room wasn’t cleaned on the second day. The buffet was very disappointing. Even though it’s in Da Lat, there wasn’t a single local specialty dish. The vegetables weren’t properly washed and still had soil on them. It’s a resort, but the entrance fee for Wonderland is about the same as for outside guests. Overall, for me, this was quite a bad experience. The only good thing was the beautiful view

The environment was magnificent, the heaters works very well and it helps contrast with the such cold temperature here in Dalat. If I could go here Dalat again, I would still prefer this as a top choice in picking accommodations.

Nestled in the French Quarter of the hill town, Da Lat Railway Station is a charming structure with colorful glass windows and three high-pointed roofs. Constructed between 1935 and 1938, it boasts a Japanese steam train that travels along 16 km of cog railway tracks. Visitors can embark on a short 7 km journey to Trai Mat Village, enjoying picturesque countryside views en route.
I arrived very early and ended up being the first customer of the day, no crowds, no lines, just peaceful surroundings. The weather was sunny, and the clear sky made the station look even more picturesque. While there wasn’t much to explore, the visit still felt exciting thanks to the charm of this vintage railway station. That said, it’s the kind of place I’d probably visit just once, mainly for the photo opportunity.

It's a train station that has historical significance in Vietnam, but it doesn't approach us in a special sense. It's just a place to sit in a shade chair for a while and avoid the heat. A charming Vietnamese housewife modeled me beautifully, but I can't find an Instagram account, so I just share it here. If it's you, please DM me.

Da Lat Train Station remains as charming as ever, preserving the beauty of the past. I booked a night round-trip train ride, and the scenery along the way was truly captivating. Adding to the atmosphere, there was live violin music performed in the carriage, which made the journey even more memorable. Overall, it was a delightful and worthwhile experience!

An interesting place to see how first advancements into a modern age were made, and how they were forsaken and wasted. The tourist train ride takes you through the densely build sheds and intense farming constructs, which are littered with waste. There’s loud honking and very loud musical instruments being played ineptly throughout the train ride, bring NC earplugs if you’re sensitive. A bit overpriced.

The overall experience is ok but the ticket seller is not in advising tourist, we bought tickets for 2pm train and he advised us to return by 3.10pm but the journey took 30 mins and we dun have time to spend at linh phouc temple, we need to rush to catch the train and unable to finish touring the temple. He shall advise us to take the later return train. Overall good scenic and we took some photos at the station.

First time to visit the old railway station in Dalat was great, even though I have been to Dalat many times. Well maintain facilities, great old train tour, lovely free artichoke tea, clean toilet and helpful staffs. They might need to improve more for landscaping all around which still have a lot of potential, perhaps some playground, picnic areas, garden et cetera

Beautiful old station with charming French architecture and vintage trains. Great for photos and a quick stroll. There's a small entrance fee, but it's worth it for the unique vibe and history.
Bridget — Google review
Pleasant railway station and bit of history left over from the French. The rail journey itself is slow meandering in the best way, while there is live music on board to set the atmosphere.

The hotel offers streamlined rooms equipped with smart amenities, providing a perfect retreat for visitors. Overlooking the picturesque Xuan Huong Lake, this boutique hotel features tastefully decorated rooms and suites, each with its own unique character and style.
We celebrated our Wedding in Colline Hotel in June, 2025. It was such an amazing experience and it made our date memorable. They were thoughtful and gentle to prepare a sweet room for groom and bride. The venue was luxury with beautiful decorations. The food was so delicious that all our guests were full and satisfied. All the staffs here were kind and hospitable, they helped and supported us all the time. Thank you so much for your best service you gave us. Wish all the best to your hotel. ☺️☺️

I stayed here for 3 days and overall had a pleasant experience. The bell staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping our room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. However, I feel there’s room for improvement in the restaurant. The food options were somewhat limited, and it would be great to see a more diverse menu in the future. I also noticed that the Guest Relations staff didn’t seem to gather feedback from many guests perhaps more engagement with diners could help improve the overall experience. Compared to other 4-star hotels in the area, the room rates are on the higher side. Guests should also note that upgrading to a room with a window costs an additional 650,000 VND. Overall, the service was warm and professional, and with a few small improvements, this hotel could offer even better value for guests.
An N — Google review
The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Da Lat Night Market. The room was nice, facing the lake and the mountains. Not only were there welcome fruits, but there were also farewell fruits upon check-out. I especially want to commend Mr. Thong Le for his warm and attentive service. I've stayed in many hotels, and this was the best service I've ever received.

This is listed as a 4-star hotel, but it feels more like a 3-star at best. I saw three different rooms, and all had old, moldy tiles. The hotel provided slippers for the shower, but they were cracked and filthy—I was genuinely worried about getting a foot infection from using them. The sink didn’t drain properly, and after asking staff to fix it, there was only a slight improvement. The carpet in the hallway is worn and smells bad on many floors. The only real plus is the location next to the market, but we didn’t spend much time there, so it wasn’t a big advantage. For the price, there are definitely better, cleaner, and quieter places to stay. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Modern, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast buffet with lots of Asian/Western dishes & nice view of city. Large room but bathroom too small. Wasted room space could make bathroom & sink counter space each 2 feet bigger. Brown metal facade makes hotel look old & blocks nice view of city. Loud drum noises from nightclub below until midnight.

Lovely hotel, staff are great. What’s reduced its stars is the smell from the market just outside the front door. Omg. Shut the door, complain to the council, do something!! Room smells fine, which is what really counts. Another common and regular problem in Vietnamese hotels is the lack of lifts for the number of rooms and guests. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Really common problem. Nothing they can do about that now tho! Breakfast was great, loads of options even tho it’s really busy, and there’s a sign in the foyer letting you know the busy times. You won’t have a problem getting everything you want when you finally get a lift to get you into the restaurant .

WOW, AMAZING HOTEL. The staff from reception to the buffet breakfast were fantastic. The room was very comfortable and clean. Every thing worked as it was suppose to. I am a very fussy customer and I couldn't find anything that was wrong with this hotel,5 star. Well done guys, highly reccommend. Buffet breakfast was awesome. See you again very soon. ❤️

Everything was fine except that the additional bed was too soft for me. However, the hotel staff improvised the bed to be firmer so that I could sleep better. Thank you! I suggest that the hotel should look into better mattresses for their guests to replace those worn-out mattresses. A good night sleep is very important for a person's health as well as waking up without back pains.

Nestled in the heart of Dalat, Golf Valley Hotel is a chic and modern accommodation option that offers an upscale restaurant, lively bar, gym, and spa. The hotel's prime location allows guests to easily access Xuan Huong Lake and Dalat Market. With 164 stylish rooms and suites equipped with private balconies and state-of-the-art facilities, this luxury hotel provides a comfortable stay for travelers.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, with a lovely balcony and stunning views. The bathroom is new and comfortable. The hotel staff were absolutely outstanding - attentive, kind, and helpful, including in the dining area. It can get a bit busy on weekends. The only downsides are that there is no swimming pool, and the sound insulation at the rooms isn’t great. But since Da Lat is generally quiet, this wasn’t a major issue.
Moran H — Google review
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Golf Valley Hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. While the hotel has a good location, the service and attention to guest needs were significantly lacking. Here are the main issues we encountered: Breakfast Buffet: This was a consistent source of frustration. The food stations were very poorly managed. We frequently found trays to be empty, and the staff was extremely slow to refill them. Waiting for basic items each morning is not how you want to start your day on vacation. The quality of the food that was available was also mediocre at best. Housekeeping: The daily room cleaning felt very superficial. More importantly, the amenities were not replenished. The hand soap was never refilled during our 3-night stay, and on our final day, we were left with no shower soap at all. This is a basic failure in hospitality. Lack of Amenities: When we asked the front desk for an iron and an ironing board, we were simply told that the hotel does not have them. This is a very basic amenity that we would expect from a hotel of this rating and price point. Overall, our stay was defined by a consistent lack of attention to detail and guest comfort. We left feeling disappointed and would not choose to stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Hotel rooms are very clean. Breakfast was ok. The spa service here is amazing tho. It’s about 20 minutes walk to Dalat market. Areas around here is hard to walk as constructions and wires are everywhere.

This is my third time staying at Golf Valley Hotel and it’s just as wonderful as the first. The room was clean and airy, the staffs were very friendly and caring toward children. Every night, they brought cookies and fairy tales for my little ones. I’ll definitely keep recommending this place to my friends!

Hotel, have advantage and disadvantage. We stay from 13sep to 18th Sep. Amazing room clean bed clean toilet handwritten welcome note.Gym,spa, front office top service and they speak english very well. Location is 5 stars. Now come to disadvantage. Construction at back of hotel start 6:30am all weeks we unable to sleep, hotel can provide ear plugs or inform guest before or after booking massage that there is construction around the hotel. Breakfast menu was repeated whole week. I understand salads and vegetables and condiments can same, but main dishes same all week does not add up. Especially western food items missing from buffet. For example, Corn cobs for dinner not for breakfast serve. Bacon serves cold. Dishes missing name and what made of for example dim sum what kind meat is chicken, lamb beef dim sum or vegetable. Pastry section is only display. No Danish, no croissant sweets are basic, frozen muffins same every day. Icing on cake toaster does not toast the slice of bread. It just warms the bread not even make brown. Drinks choice is also limited. Hopefully hotel will not take as offence of my feedback. Those things guest expect from hotel most of time. Guest. Regards

Good hotel. Rather cozy room. We had to pay We stayed here for a vacation and overall had a decent experience. The staff was responsive—any time we called for something, service was quick, which we really appreciated. The location is well situated, close to everything we needed. The breakfast was good, and the price was fair for what we got. The room itself was a bit dated in terms of decor, and the bed could have been more comfortable. WiFi was available, but slow. Also, our room didn’t have a window, which made it feel a little closed in—we requested a room with a window and had to pay for the room with a window.

We loved the first room that faced the street. Very nice and comfy bed. No issues. But we wanted to stay an extra night and had to move to an "inner room" with no windows. Strange smell, uncomfortable bed, and shower that didn't drain properly. So make sure to approve of the room before you pay money.

Despite how good location this hotel was, IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL I EVER STAYED IN. the receptionists were not welcoming. the bellhop didn't even help us get our stuff upstairs, they just left our stuff in the lobby and let us carry upstairs by ourselves. they were just smoking and on their phone. we booked a lake view room, what we got was an old, smelly room that had a pond full of garbage view (which they claimed that was the lake view). not only that, the room had a door that connected with the other room. we told them that we were not comfortable to stay in that room because there was no privacy, their answer was no one can open the door except them, because there was only 1 key. after we got pretty annoyed, they agreed to accommodate us to a different room that had no door in between. however, the new room was still pretty smelly, it had a very moldy smell. the bathroom was also moldy and dirty. the tv was old and had a bad reception. I had to reprogrammed it 3 times for it to work. after that incident with the receptionists, seemed like they didn't want us there. no one was smiling or greeting us when we came in, all they did were staring at us. they placed a coffee station in the lobby for guests, that was very nice of them. however, there was a dead fly in the condensed milk. we were looking for a nice, quite hotel but what we got was old, noisy hotel. I guess they were doing repair for the hotel. however, it was too early to start repair at 8 ish. this hotel doesn't even deserve as 4 star hotel. we got more stress than relaxation.

I have personally stayed at better motels than this place, unfortunately my stay was not nice. I found that the rooms were very old and moldy(the washroom). It was very difficult to be comfortable. Even the cable for the TV just didn't work well it was super fuzzy, and I personally had to reprogram the tv over and over again. I was really surprised to see that this hotel had really high reviews. For the breakfast I skipped each day, I just didn't enjoy the options, unfortunately. For some reason, I don't know if it was the coffee spot or the neighbors, but the loud music was actually grueling. Personally, I would never stay here again. On a plus side free tea and coffee bar, and it is really close to all the cool stuff in Dalat!

We had excursion organized by the tour company and lunch here was part of the itinerary. Service and food was such a disappointment. First of all sitting there is really uncomfortable because of the way how the table is constructed, secondly service was poor - soup was cooked in front of us and no one cared to come and check when it’s ready - only after our question someone came to take it if the boiling thing. No utensils and no napkins on the table, only after request they were brought even though food was already on the table. The prawns soup had weird taste. Food that we ordered wasn’t good. Bad value for the money. Two stars for mango smoothie, the only thing I liked there’s

Absolutely unforgettable stay at this gem of a hotel in Dalat, Vietnam! My husband and I chose this place for our honeymoon, and they truly made it extra special. What stood out was their *exceptional customer service*: We requested a room upgrade, and they graciously accommodated it without any hassle! The upgraded room was breathtaking with stunning views of the surrounding hills of Dalat. But what left me *truly overwhelmed* were the little touches they added for my birthday, which coincidentally fell during our honeymoon stay: - *Beautiful room decorations*: The hotel decorated our room with such taste and romance – it was picture-perfect! - *Amazing cake arrangement*: They surprised us with a gorgeous cake that fit our honeymoon theme perfectly – it was the cherry on top! - *Thoughtful gestures*: From the warm welcome to the attentive service throughout our stay, every detail was handled with care. The hotel's blend of comfort, elegance, and *warm Vietnamese hospitality* made our honeymoon truly magical. Dalat's charm coupled with this hotel's excellence made for an experience we'll treasure forever. I *strongly recommend* this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a memorable stay in Dalat. Whether it's a special occasion like ours or just a desire for top-notch service and comfort, this hotel delivers big time! Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so incredibly special – we'll carry these memories with us always!

An outdated hotel in desperate need of renovations and at the very least a coat of paint. No air conditioning, and although the climate is comfortable in November the only way to cool the room was to leave the room door open for a draft. Not the safest. It's near a very noisy street/ intersection. The breakfast is okay and the staff is very friendly. I can't possibly understand how they consider themselves a 4 star hotel. Although the outside and lobby look beautiful, staying here is a different story. Sadly I can't recommend it and I will never stay here again.

Our honeymoon getaway to Dalat, Vietnam, was nothing short of dreamy, thanks to this enchanting hotel! My wife and I were treated like royalty from the moment we checked in. The hotel exceeded our expectations with their superb service – they kindly upgraded our room at our request, and the room was absolutely breathtaking with gorgeous vistas of Dalat's lush hills. But it was the touching personal touches that truly took our breath away, especially since my wife’s birthday fell during our romantic escape. Blending comfort, style, and genuine warmth, this hotel made our honeymoon in Dalat utterly unforgettable. We adored Dalat's beauty, and this hotel's outstanding service and lovely details sealed the deal for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to couples seeking a romantic retreat or anyone wanting top-tier hospitality in Dalat. Room is huge with all the necessary amenities, more than most. Receptions were all very hospitable & helpful, kudos to Ms Thuy Linh, Ms Oanh, Ms Tran and Mr Tran Linh. Location is very convenient with the night market & Cho Da Lat Central Market just outside the hotel & a lot of good food within 10mins walk.

We stayed for 2 nights with a tour. We have to say the location is the best. Especially for the night market when the street in front of the hotel is pedestrianized. What would be a quiet morning street market will transform from 5pm. Not far is Da Lat market where you can buy stuff a little cheaper than the night market stalls outside. The hotel itself is generally fine. Breakfast spread good but seating can be an issue when busy.

The hotel is very out of date. Everything is moldy and old. Even though room is clean, but there is the smell to it. Room has no A/c so you will have to open up the windows, which are facing the walking streets and the noises and commotions are all night long. Room has steps everywhere. Not wheelchair friendly. Not even body-able friendly. You will trip for those late night toilet stops. Positive thing is the hotel use premium toilet paper. Staffs are friendly and nice, but not professionally trained. Your money is worth more elsewhere.

Friendly staff. The inclusive breakfast was very good with many dishes to choose from. Rooms however were very old. Quick showers left the bathroom full of puddles and the tub did not look sanitary. Definitely in need of renovations. The location is perfect though for the night market. There's no air conditioning so you would be inclined to open the windows but that comes with hearing the bustling of the night market. Not for light sleepers.

This is not a 4-star hotel. The hotel is so dated and worn down that you can't be serious. Also, I was sleeping in a small 2-person bed while I booked a superior twin bed. This hotel has no Airco, I regret booking this hotel. Please market your hotel as 2-star that would be more fair.

It’s so noisy you cant even sleep. I’ve been struggling to get some decent sleep due to the annoying LOUD noise from the night market!! i don’t understand why the ice cream shop right next to the hotel does karaoke at literally 11:30AM, and the hotel allows it!! not only that but there is no AC or a fan so your only choice is to open the window, and that makes the noise from outside even louder than it already is. I’m writing this review right now because I cant sleep from the hot weather and the annoying sounds. 1 star.

Actually I was planning to leave a 5 star review. The hotel staff was very professional organising a surprise newly wedds decoration and what a decoration it was! As it shows on the photos, it's an amazing quality of work, done with great care. Almost art. The room was spacious and clean. Nice garden and lobby area. Convenient location. Close to the lake and the night market. The down side was the buffet. It would be silly to expect anything than the bare minimum from buffet breakfast, but this was one of my worst experiences ever. I wouldn't like to say a lot about the food, because for me it's fried egg and toast in most of the hotels in Vietnam. Although my wife has noticed, the Phu Quoc branch has a wider Vietnamese breakfast selection. For a start the toaster is a silly conveyor belt kind of thing. Not only it is uncomfortable and difficult to use to get the toast right, but it's slow too. We had early breakfast when only one family was there apart of us but still had to wait for our turn. Not to mention, something must have been wrong with it, because both mornings, while we have been there, the staff was turning it on and off. The second morning there was no juice available. None. Only tea, water and coffee. By the way, Vietnam has great coffee. If someone would try coffee here 1st time, would think people who are raving about Vietnames coffee are crazy. Overall the hotel is nice and the staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Although the buffet couldn't live up even to a low expectation.

Worst Hotel experience I have ever had. Room - pillows are filthy and dirty. However, instead of changing for us a new pillow case, they blamed us of making the pillow dirty and wanted to fine us for that. Thereafter, the new pillow case that they changed still as dirty as the first one. We confronted them, they apologised and changed another new one. However, in the afternoon, there were 3 staff came and asked if we dyed hair and make until the pillows case, but the truth is we didn’t do that at all. The most ridiculous and hilarious thing is the staff actually locked the room from me accessing. First, the staff said it was due to us dirtying the pillows hence the room was locked from us entering. After which, I actually confronted the hotel reception and they said it was due to the system that the room was locked to access. So, I am given 2 different explanations, and I don’t know which is true. Both the explanations are absolutely ridiculous. Guests are locked from the room due to pillows dirty and not explaining anything before that and jumping into accusations and assumptions, proves that the management is unprofessional. I believe we as guests trust and expect the hotel to provide the minimal quality of service that guests should be treated with. Secondly, locking the room due to the system ? What system are we talking about? Is it the security system or the hotel management system ? If it is the security system, so are you saying that the hotel will lock guests out from accessing due to cleanliness ? If that’s the case, are guests suppose to ensure that their shoes especially are clean before entering the room ? If it is the hotel management system, I can just say their management proves how unprofessional and inefficient the way they treat the hotel guests. Additionally, isn’t it the hotel management suppose to ensure everything is clean and comfortable for the guests ?

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks, and it wasn't enjoyable. This is why I am giving only three stars, but I was thinking about two stars only. The location is good, close to the lake and only a short walk to the city center. The room was run down, with dirty chairs and a filthy carpet. The daily cleaning routine included changing the bathroom towels and adding two liters of water. During my stay, the bedsheets were changed only once. The hotel price included a monotonous breakfast with a few choices and poor-quality food. The hotel's Wi-Fi was unreliable and very slow. We had an issue with the safety box that suddenly stopped opening. After informing reception, the maintenance came fast. However, they were unprepared for troubleshooting ( I suspected the discharged battery ). Numerous keys were tried without success. The second technician tried the same unsuccessfully and tried to connect an external battery without paying attention to polarity. It took a long time to finally open it. We were promised that this would be repaired; however, it never happened.

Nestled in the heart of Da Lat, The Luxe Hotel Đà Lạt is a charming and unpretentious accommodation that offers guests a delightful stay. With its convenient location just 2.4 km from the beautiful Dalat Flower Gardens and close to popular attractions like Lam Vien Square and Xuan Huong Lake, it’s perfect for those eager to explore the city. Guests can enjoy comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout their visit.
I had a great 3-night stay at The Luxe hotel. 📌Location The location is super central, easy to book a grab or travel to other spots. It’s a 5-minute ride to Xuan Huong lake which is the heart of Dalat. 📌Service The staff were friendly and attentive. I’m not sure about their English communication skills but pretty sure basic requests are fine. 📌Views I booked the Premier room due to its size and views, and was not disappointed. One side of the room looked at a building under construction, but that was no biggie. The view of the valley was unobstructed and breathtaking. 📌Facilities The facilities were that of a standard 3-star hotel. The bed was soft and comfortable, the pillows were also soft, but a bit thick for my liking. The shower stall was a bit cramped (especially for two people), but the bathroom overall was quite spacious. As others have mentioned, there were no bathrobes, but extra towels were available upon request. There is a lounge area which is nicely decorated and also has a nice view. 📌Bike hire There were a number of bikes for us to choose. I was able to pick a relatively new Airblade with Smartkeys and a powerful engine. I didnt have issues with the helmet like some of the others mentioned. 📌Final thoughts For the price I paid for my stay (~2mil/night during a major national holiday), I think it was well worth it:

Overall average. Front desk staff not really service oriented. (More like just a job) Room: 3.5 of 5 Front desk: 2 of 5 Housing keep staff: 4 of 5 Bike: 1.5 of 5 House keep staff is friendly and nice (more service oriented then front desk) 😂 PS: Currently next door having construction 🥹 (heavy construction) Rented bike for transport, not well maintain, worse part is the helmet! Had to wear shower cap before using and still can smell. Told and change with the front desk but still the same 🤔😔

woops this review came a bit late (like a month late LOL), but came back to write it cause they really deserve the good reviews. the management was really good, we felt welcomed there and they always greeted us with a smile and we had a very pleasant experience, so for service i’d say 5/5!! room was exactly like picture, and the space was big and gave a luxurious feeling, also the noise filtering was good, and the best part it was affordable, 4.5/5!! the location was also super perfect, cause we took the sleeper bus, so with this hotel it’s very near the bus station and super easy to commute to and fro, to a lot of places and tourist spots so that’s 5/5 for location. when i first saw this place i was worried cause of the bad reviews before, but trust me IT IS VERY WORTH IT! every place has ofc its bad reviews but to me i don’t think they deserve it, not being biased, just being real 👍🏼👍🏼 they showed us the garden and helped to take nice pics of us too, super sweet managers/workers!

Enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to room with a/c and corner room with big windows for awsome view of country side. We stayed in L108. Day before we left we watched rain come from a distance from the panoramic view. They also provide moto bike rental. This place is very convenient next to main road.

The Tulip Hotel is a comfortable and affordable option in Dalat. It features free Wi-Fi and easy access to the city centre. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, safe deposit box and airport shuttle at surcharge.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. The best part about staying there was the location near my restaurants and shops. I highly recommend the bakery across the street. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help me with whatever I needed. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room is too dirty. Beds, pillows, blankets are all old, dirty and smelly. The receptionist say that they clean up the room everyday, but I dont think so. When I checked in, there is a dirty spot on the bed (just a small one), but I was too easygoing, I thought that they will change it on the next day, but they did not. That dirty spot still there after 3 nights. Morning on the last day, they put the trolley right in front of our room, just leave a very small space for us to get in and out. I thought that they are cleaning our floor and will move it after done. But i was wrong, that trolley was there from the early morning until 12 (when we check out). They did not move it at all, they just leave that trolley there to chase us to check out, and give us very difficult time when getting in and out of the room. I dont think i will come back this hotel again even the location is pretty good. Not recommended at all.

This hotel has a very good quality! The staff and the porter were very attentive. I lost my selfie stick in the lobby and I didn’t know it after I was out. When I came back and realized this, I went to the reception and asked about lost and found. They kept it for me!

Very Noisy Hotel - Do Not Stay Here!!! We had read some reviews about noise before booking, I wish we had given more thought and chose somewhere else! The fist night we were given a room at the top of the stairs off the lobby, the “window” was an open timber vent off the stairwell. You could hear every conversation people were having at the front desk. I asked to move rooms but they said no, I played them a recording of the noise and the people at resection spoke to each other in Vietnamese laughing! This is crazy!!! On the next day we were moved to another room that stunk of paint fumes but was just as noisy. Terrible hotel - do not stay here!!!!
Rigoniman R — Google review
We really enjoyed our experience at this hotel. Very clean and very friendly, although we did find a ton of hair on the floor of the bathroom. The bed and pillow were rock hard, but I think this is normal here. It was a surprisingly large room, with a separate seating area. Not that I can understand Vietnamese, but the TV didn't work. No signal.
Victoria K — Google review
The rooms were so comfortable! Especially the beds, fluffiest pillows ever. The customer service was exceptional and made us feel like royalty. It is the best I have ever seen. The staff were well trained, polite, and treated all our requests with importance and urgency. The hotel is beautiful. Location is fantastic within 2 mins from the city centre by walk.

It was a great moment with my girlfriend during the stay. Service is always attentive and I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the venue especially the our presence room and the comfortable lobby. I would high recommended to everyone which is going to have a trip in Vietnam.

Worst hotel ever. Waited for hours to check in only to find out that the room next to mine was being fixed. Too noisy and dirty because of the ongoing repair, and worse, the workers were simply passing in front of my balcony. No privacy and no chance to rest. Asked to change the room as I wanted to rest but nothing happened. Paid for a 3-day stay but because I could not stand the place and even the staff who simply laughed when I complained, I moved to another hotel few hours after checking in. Been going to Dalat for years and it was also by chance that I booked this hotel, but would definitely not recommend it to anyone. I would also agree with the others that the smell of mould at the room was really unpleasant. Such a terrible experience.

Iris Dalat Hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere with complimentary breakfast and easy access to local attractions. The hotel is located in walking distance from Dalat Market and Xuan Huong Lake, making it the perfect accommodation for travelers looking to explore this beautiful city.
We were lucky to get good off peak rates. The hotel is grand looking in a good location, just slightly away from the night market so will not be affected by noises or crowd at night. There je a shortcut to the markets but could be dark at night. The rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities with very prompt housekeeping. They provide fan in the room and the hot water pressure was good and temperature consistent. Breakfast was average on certain days due to less visitors but generally has a better menu during weekends. Had a very wonderful stay at the hotel.

Iris dalat hotel 🏨 ♥️ was a very pleasant surprise, the rooms were immaculate with everything you could ever want from a hotel in the heart of dalat, the price for what we received was one the best 👌 hotel that we stayed at on our 3 weeks in vietnam 🇻🇳 😀, the staff where super helpful and friendly and they all provide us with under ground parking for our car 🚗 😀, I would highly recommend iris dalat hotel as it ticked every box 📦.

The hotel was ok . There weren't enough towels in the bathroom , there were no disposer near the toilet stool , water couldn't be disposed after using the toilet washer . The customer service was not well , level of comprehension of English is low . I was asking about the bus service but the answer I got is disappointing .

Love their room size and they were courteous to upgrade as well. The sales girl 'My' is very sweet and helpful! Nice buffet as well as the location is central!
Kanika G — Google review
The lower floor has no windows or a room that is the wall of the next building when the windows are opened, but they are not notified in advance when making reservations. Be careful. If you make consecutive reservations, you will be 100% unchangeable and will be charged a normal rate. Never stay overnight and choose a different accommodation. Other hotels allow managers to change rooms at the service level for consecutive stays. However, this hotel is not an online price, but a hotel that managers ask for at a normal rate when changing rooms. It's very unkind and requires only extra fees. Never ruin your vacation because of this hotel.
Surek G — Google review
Hotel location is good. Breakfast was OK. The room is big but no air conditioning. Understand that dalat does not require one as it has cold weather but at least provide a fan. There is no shirt ironing where you need to use their service. Staff were friendly.

Beautiful place to stay in Da Lat that’s really close to the city and Cho Dem. Everything is clean, the bathroom is really nice, and the beds are wonderful. The room is clean and nice, only thing I wish for is an AC as there is none in the room. You can ask for a fan, though. The breakfast was also great. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again!
Huong P — Google review
It looks nice and nearby the night market. In front of the hotel in the evening there are street food snacks outside which is nice. It isnt noisy at all. For the rooms i did need a fan which they provided. Breakfast i couldnt eat much, but maybe i am spoiled with the 5* breakfast. Would i book here again? Probably not. I would look something more close by to the night market where the fun is in the evening

Nestled in the heart of Da Lat, Hong Mon Villa offers a serene escape with its warm and inviting accommodations. Guests can enjoy rooms that feature balconies and stunning garden views, perfect for soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. The villa is conveniently located just a short drive from popular attractions like Da Lat Market and Dalat Flower Gardens, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. At Hong Mon Villa, you’ll find complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property along with a delightful restaurant set amidst lush gardens.
I gave this place five stars mainly because of the staff, two ladies and one man. They were incredibly helpful, kind, and spoke good English, making communication very easy. The room itself was average, as some areas could use improvement, such as cleanliness, the placement of power sockets, and soundproofing. Location wise, it is very strategic, close to popular tourist spots, making it a convenient choice for travelers. Despite the minor room issues, the excellent service and prime location make it a great option overall.

My room was nice and big. Breakfasts were decent. Everyone is so friendly and helpful at this place. The receptionists are so so considerate and gentle. The housekeeping ladies are polite and helpful. I had missed the time to send my dirty laundry for wash one day, but got them back clean first thing the following morning. I would recommend this place to everyone who would visit Da Lat.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. The owner and manager should be ashamed. Mould is present everywhere. When we come back to hotel in the evening we find out that we have no hot or cold water. We were told that water maybe available next day. We have not stayed the night and got money back. Staff was very helpful and tried to resolve situation. On top - when we were leaving we felt strong fishy smell from sewage See the photos of the bathroom and common areas Do not stay here.

A good place to spend a few nights during your visit to Da Lat. Workers are very kind and helpful! You have a 7 option choice for the breakfast, which is prepared with love.
Evert G — Google review
Reading this place five stars for the exceptional hospitality. In particular, Thao was a great help throughout our stay, she was friendly & also extremely accommodating with our early check-in and keeping our bags after checkout. They also provided wall socket adapters so we did not have to buy. The room itself could be improved. The bed was hard, walls are thin, and there is not a place to sit/lay aside from the bed. Thankfully there is a mini fridge, space for luggages, and a balcony with lots of natural light. Overall, it remains a great value at its price as it includes breakfast daily and is located in a quieter part of Đã Lat.
Cindy K — Google review
Great location. Great staff! Reason for writing the review is because of their customer service. It can be quite noisy on the ground level where my room was. I expressed my concern for the noise and not being able to have a peaceful stay. They were very helpful in solving the problem and upgraded my room for free because it was too noisy. The guy and girl at the front desk were so friendly. Would definitely recommend. Rooms are nice, clean and there is a good breakfast included in your stay!

Nice and quiet in a lovely backstreet . Good view from balcony. Big room a bit cold but clean and functional. The staff were lovely very helpful and understanding. It's quite a walk into the city, but Torri restaurant is just next door and well worth a visit

We stayed here for a week. I love the room service at this hotel. Everything is clean and hot water is available for 24/7. I don’t like their complementary breakfast. Maybe others like it. You can find some restaurants and coffee shop a few miles away. The only downside I notice here is, they don’t have air conditioners or heaters. They do have motorbikes in good condition. Receptionist provided all the information we needed during our stay. It’s calm around here and lot of rose plants in and around the hotel. They have large balcony, it will be nice if they put a couple of chair outside. 👍🏻👌🏻

My room was spacious and comfortable. It was slightly noisy in the evening, even more when they organized a party in the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good with options for both Asian and western style. The WiFi was very often down or very slow. The hotel is very well located in a nice area.

It is a nice hotel to stay, clean. Breakfast is ok with a lot choises. Staff is not very adequate. They missed some small things to clean. Things which are broken are not repaired for a long time. Staff at reception made big mistake. We had 2 rooms when we came back from our trip they gave me the key card. When my family arrived 2 hours later the receptionist claimed she gave the key card to me. So a lot of discussion at checkout. They really said they gave 2 cards which was not true. So reception has to improve in organizing their administration.

This is the Dalat Plaza Hotel. The rooms come with two complimentary water bottles, free breakfast, of which there are mostly Asian choices, but there is an egg station where you can get eggs made to your liking. The location is less than a ten minute walk to the night market. There is an awesome bakery next door and a bank a few doors down. There is a park across the street, but the road in front of the hotel can get noisy, so take that into consideration bid you are booking a view room. There is no air-conditioning in this hotel, but you can open the windows and the rooms come equipped with a fan. It's a decent hotel for the price you pay. Would stay again.

Location: 5/5 - Very close to central area Service: 2/5 - Friendly staff - Terrible wifi. Despite having 02 rounters each floors, none of them of are stable. Constant disconnect and low-speed warning. Sitting in a 3rd floor room, I am writing this review from my 4g. - Cleanning staff always forget replacing shampoo and shower bottles Facility: 1/5 -> Price: 1/5 - Noise control? Oh it's in hell. -- The main room door is noise-welcoming type. No different between staying inside and outside. I can easily hear other guests runing and screamming (probably children) in the hallway in early morning. My room is in front of the staff room, so when they turn their internal radio system on for communicating, I can hear every single words :D -- I stayed in 3rd floor, and the 4th floor was being under construction non-stop for 1/2 of my trip (4/8 days), from 7am to evening. I can't even have a 15-min noon-nap thanks to these enthusiastic construction workers. The best part is the hotel did not inform you about this situation when you book - Gym room? Forget it, it becomes a storage room now. - I actually enjoy the bathroom. - No bed light system without burning your eyes. It's like turning on the bed light is create an artifical sun. Had to improvise by using the portable desk light. Worked like a charm. These drawbacks made my experience overpriced and hence I would not recommend Đà Lạt Plaza, at least until they fix all of the mentioned problems.

Hated it. We may have had a worse experience because we were there for 5 days at the end of the Tet holiday, but guests, mostly Chinese were so loud we had trouble sleeping with earplugs. Breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. One morning experance 8:45 3/4 hour before end of breakfast: no coffee, no milk, no juice, askedand they added, then found no juice glasses. Bagette rock solid right through, went to egg station wife ordered omlet, they never heard of cheeze on an omlet. She took omlet and had to ask for a fork as basket empty. I ordered sunny side up, they broke both yolks cracking into pan. I went for cutlery and guess what. 5 minuits after my wife let them know they were out of forks again. I would have enjoyed my breakfast more if I had a box of soda crackers in my luggage. I didn't try the mystery meat, but they have some wierd stuff on menue. Horse cartilidge??? Only cereal they had was corn flakes🤔😣

This hotel is located a little away from the center of town, but is still easily accessible by bus or taxi. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. There is no frills such as a hotel phone, but there are enough amenities to make your stay pleasant. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Overall, this would be an ideal choice for budget-minded travellers looking for somewhere quiet to stay but close to all the attractions in town.
Awesome hotel experience. Recommend coming here if you are in the Dalat area. Rooms are clean and relatively big. Perfect for spending a few days here or even one night like we did. The bed is so comfortable - wow I got such a good night sleep! Great price and friendly staff as well!

The staff is very helpful. My room was clean, nothing fancy about it, for example no hotel phone, minimal toiletries. The bed is very firm. You can only pay in Dong or a credit card with a 3% fee. The street has a fair amount of street noise too.

Booked this hotel ahead of time and paid for 3 rooms for 2 nights for large family. Check-in was presumably at 12pm and then, they wanted us to pay more money to prove that every member of the family was eligible to live in each room. Our credit card was already charged and we never received our other two rooms. Left and went to another hotel and they let us into 3 rooms immediately without any hassle. Avoid this hotel if you don't want to be scammed.

MAYBE THEY NO NEED THE GUEST ! THEY THOUGHT THEY HAVE THE BEST PLACE NEAR THE CENTER SO THEY HAVE CHOOSY ATTITUDE .BAD OWNER. BAD SERVICE. BAD Attitude.<br/>Sevices very poor and terrible : No give roll paper everyday for toilet, and the toilet always have smell, so dirty. But the lady owner thinks her hotel like as Buckingham Palace. She always sitting at the reception bar on eyes on guest and look at guest like as thief , although they had paid for the room before. Hotel's owner so impolite and awful. I think they have a good place in the city center, near Hoa Binh market and Xuan Huong lake...that the reason they don't need the guest, specially is the owner ( 60yrs lady), but the receptionist ( the young girl) so friendly and honesty. The 60yrs lady always look the guest like beggar not a customer. Wifi very slow. they hang on the walls so many warning for the guest. Bad service bad attitude .

BE AWARE!!! 1/ Location: it has good location but in Đà Lạt you can find many hotels with locations close to the lakes or even much better location than this hotel. I am sure that the other hotels do not have such uneducated and annoying staff members in this hotel. The staff members in this hotel just wait for their opportunities to sulk the guests’ blood. 2/ Room: You get what you pay for. The room is wide with wooden floor. When you look far away, you are going to see the lakes. When you closer, the only thing you will see is a big pile of trash. The room does not have good sound cancellation system; you can still hear the noisy sounds of the vehicles passed by when you lie down in the room very clearly. Next to the hotel is the building that is under construction, the sound of the drills and the hammers are just as annoy as somebody is drilling and hammering your brain. When my mum calls the receptionist and complaints about the noise, the answer is that these guys will not work at night time. I ask myself “what will happen if they also work at night?” If that is going to happen I will not ever return to this hotel no matter the price is 1.8 million VND or 18 million VND. The receptionist does not say anything such as an apology or a changing room request. Generally, they might think that we have paid the money for the room whether we stay or not, they do not care. - The toilet is super smelly; I do not know the reason for that, the smell from the sewers is very bad. When you turn on the shower and close the shower door, the water can still get outside and make the whole floor of the toilet become soaking wet. You will not know when your toilet floor will dry. - The lift is smelly just like when you turn on an air condition after a long period of time. 3/ Staff members: there is much to tell about them - As recommended, I book this room without much care. When my mum showed me the comment on the internet from a tour guide that complained about the noise and a building that is under construction next to the hotel, the answer from the hotel to this complaint was “we are very questioning; you (the tour guide) followed your group for the whole day why should the noise be any matter to you?” Such a super suprise answer, yeah?! That answer should mean the tour guide follows his group for the whole day and he does not have the right to say anything even if the noise is drilling his brain. Not to mention, if there is a tourist in this tour guide’s group who wants to stay at the hotel for relaxing and get annoy by the noise, which should be his or her problem because he or she does not go out with the group. Is it this hotel only suitable for those who spend the whole day visiting around and only need space for their sleep? You surely find it so “funny” when the receptionist speaks against the guests of the hotel in every sentences and words all the times. But, I have booked the room anyway, all I can do now is to praise for the best. - Cheap things have smelty quality: I do not think our ancestors got that wrong. It is no problem if the hotel does not have a bellboy but it is a big problem if they do not have a security guard. When my family taxi ride comes to the hotel gate, it’s raining, my family members do not carry too many stuff but we have an elderly person that is my grandma, she’s doing everything very slow. My mum has to stand in the rain and try to get my grandma out of the taxi when I and the taxi driver have to carry all my family suitcases inside the hotel. A male receptionist does not have any reaction to what we did until he sees us getting upstairs, and then he begins to help us with the suitcases.

Hotel is in residential area. It's a bit gated in a sense if you're coming home late or leaving early. Someone is always at the door or lobby to open. But it's not as free feel. Safety is good for that case. Restroom is kinda different design meaning separate from bedroom.

First of all, I want to acknowledge the RECEPTIONIST Tran. She is AMAZIING! She was so helpful with everything we needed. Se even gave us hheer motorbike for a quick ride to pick up a lost item that was shipped from Hoi an. She was our favorite thing about the hotel. The rooms are ok, not great ventilation so it gets humid in the room and things didn't dry well. Good quiet location, about a 10-15 min walk from center. Thhes hotel offers free filtered water in. The kitchen area which is really helpful.

Canadian couple. Stayed 3 nights in December. Balcony room. We loved this place. Great location. Off main road so quiet. Dran at reception was so sweet and helpful. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience. I had already booked my stay and received a reservation number, but when I arrived, they told me there was no room available. I booked for two nights, yet they completely ruined the start of my trip. Very unprofessional and unacceptable — this left me with nothing but a horrible memory of Dalat.
YOON — Google review
I don't recommend you this hotel. We booked the room and everything was good, we checked in, after one day we booked one more day in this room but they asked us to move to another room, so we moved but the room was much worse than the previous one, in the evening we noticed that we forgot some expensive things in the old room so we asked an administrator to get them back but she said that cleaning lady just threw them away... Second thing, if you open a window it's getting super stinky and I saw many disturbing insects in the whole room

Great location. Beds are to hard for my liking. Would be nice to have refrigerator in room.
Nathan T — Google review
Nice for the price. The beds are okay and the water is hot. The place itself is quite new and all the rooms have double glazed windows. The rooms offer the basics, but there is no free tea or coffee offered with the kettle, and they really need to put a waste basket in in the room as well as a box of tissues because having to use the bathroom bin for everything is a bit inconvenient.

For me, lovely hous has become my cozy home when I come to Dalat. 🥰 It is important for me that the space is clean and well-kept, spacious, with a terrace where you can do sports and other practices or work online in the fresh air, where no one will disturb you, it is also important for me to have a kitchen where I can cook for myself, and this house has everything, including a kitchen. Every 3 days, the room is cleaned and bed linen and towels are changed. The staff is responsive, polite, which is very important, it is the staff that creates an atmosphere of comfort. Every 3 days, the room is cleaned and bed linen and towels are changed. The location is very convenient away from the road, and at the same time, everything you need is located nearby within walking distance. There is a good discount for regular customers, which is very nice! Thank you Lavely Hous for your hospitality! 💕💕💕🙏 Please pay attention to the following points: 1. It would be much more convenient if there was a shelf for shower accessories in the shower stall. 2. This time I had to ask for water and toilet paper myself, since these things were not prepared after cleaning the room. 3. This time there was no knife in the kitchen. A spare knife would not be superfluous. 4. There were a lot of smokers on my visit, it would be good if you organized a specially designated place for smokers.

Nestled in the heart of Dalat, Sleep in Dalat Hostel is a haven for travelers seeking both comfort and community. This laid-back hostel offers a variety of accommodations, from cozy dorms to private rooms, all designed with your relaxation in mind. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and secure lockers for their belongings while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere in shared spaces that encourage socializing with fellow adventurers.
Stayed in the dorm room. Was excellent! Firstly I checked in at 2am without a booking because I couldn’t sleep at my previous noisy hostel. I called the owners number which he left at the front desk and he let me take a dorm bed and we sorted out payment the next morning. At night there is silence, very peaceful. The beds are great, feel private, lockers provided, towels provided and the 2 bathrooms are clean. I stayed an extra 2 nights as it is a great hostel. Also the owner is very friendly and happy to have a conversation.

Owner is lovely! Recommend staying here and I’d stay again! I had an issue with colours running in my washing (not her fault at all!) but she still replaced the items damaged and didn’t charge. Books onward travel for you and walks you to the minibus pick up too! You can hire a bike from here too (reasonable price and doesn’t take passport) Beds have a curtain and there’s a small kitchen area with kettle and microwave. And free water refills

The room was okay. I had a room on the top floor. Unfortunately, there was mold on the walls, both in the bedroom and a bit in the bathroom. Everything is a bit older, but there were renovation works going on while I was there. I can confirm that the owner is hard to reach. When I messaged him on WhatsApp to ask about a bus for the next day, I didn’t get a response. When I happened to meet him for the first time that same evening, he seemed to have read my message without replying. I ended up booking the bus through another hostel. All in all, it was okay for three nights. But the mattresses could really be softer for the next time. ;)

Great stay here. The owner is very kind and interesting to talk with. The room was very pretty, well equipped and we got lucky with our own balcony ;) Great location too! We were able to check in early which was a real god send considering we had just been travelling for 12 hours on the bus. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
Ruby B — Google review
I was upgraded free of charge which was a very nice gesture from the owner. Great location down little lane away from street noise. Toiletries and bathroom towels provided and the room cleaned anytime on request. Free water dispenser, you can book tours and transfers through them. Disliked · The reception was often unattended and this almost caused me to miss my bus to the next destination.

Really lovely hostel with super friendly owner. We stayed in a double room with balcony which was very nice. The room was spacious and bright. The amenities were great with kettle and hairdryer as well as nice furniture and storage. The bathroom was also fairly spacious and clean. The large windows and balcony gave the room a lovely feel. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect and the price is great. Really recommend!

the room i stayed in was super spacious and had good light coming in during the day! the host was amazing, helping to recommend places to go to in Dalat. He even helped me to book buses to hcm and nha trang! Towels, soap and shampoo are provided and theres hot water as well. water pressure isnt the best tho location was really good, many good eats near by and tons of shops for shopping! do note that there's no air conditioning, but its not needed in Dalat as the weather is cooling! and theres a slope leading to the hostel. there will be cute little sausage dogs to greet you as well haha really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone :)

Experience the tranquility of nature at Đèn Lồng Homestay & Coffee, where you can wake up to the soothing sounds of the surroundings. The private room in this cozy house offers a comfortable king-sized bed for two, and a kitchen for your convenience. The serene atmosphere and pleasant weather make it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway. Guests have praised the clean and comfortable rooms, as well as the strong WiFi provided by the friendly and enthusiastic host.
For a homestay just a few kilometres from Dalat city centre, this was quite nice. If you’re looking for a quite homestay far from traffic but still not far from the City centre this place fits it. It’s clean and the room is well set up. The owner is very friendly and flexible. They have a selection of coffee that you could have as well charged to your room bill. Overall a pleasant experience.

To reach the room from entrance you have to come down and cross 60 numbers of slipery iron steps. The room has tin roof with ceiling. So when it rains iritating tip tap sound comes. I could not sleep whole night due to rain. The owner did not understand english at all. Moreover taxi service upto the property is not always available and you have to walk around half km while going and coming. There is no ventilater in the toilet of the room. I don't like this property. The price is very high in comparation to facilites available.

Room: new, extremely clean, including family room and bungalow. The price is reasonable for chestnuts. There is a kitchen to grill your own barbecue. Attitude: The owner of the house is extremely friendly and hospitable. When we arrived early, he allowed us to check in early and showed us where to have breakfast. Location: located in the middle of the pine forest, next to Ana Mandara French village, a beautiful night stroll, a few steps from Camly waterfall, 5 minutes by car from Xuan Huong Lake. (Translated by Google) I went to Lantern on May 3, I booked by phone at that time. My family is traveling with 8 people so we booked 2 rooms, one room 500k (2 double beds), one room 600k (2 double beds + large window). But the owner reduced it to 1 million. That day I paid a deposit of 500k in advance •Room: Clean and beautiful, with kettle, hairdryer and very warm towels and blankets. The toilet is clean. Both rooms are the same, but the 600k room has windows throughout the room. •Landscape: I really don't believe the room is 500k but it has a pretty nice view, and also has a wood stove and charcoal if you want to grill food. The decoration is also quite beautiful, in addition to the rooms there are tables and chairs for drinking tea and admiring the scenery. There are also tables and chairs near electrical outlets that can work. •Location: Located in the resort area, in general, 7-seat car is still okay, there is a parking lot next door. The location is high up so it's quite cold and cool. If you want to go down to the rooms, you have to go down a few flights of stairs. About 3km from the night market •Price: In my opinion, it's worth the view and the room. The price is about 500-600k for a room with 2 double beds near the center of Da Lat, which in my opinion is quite good. Because I was in a hurry, I couldn't take a photo of the review room, but it's really beautiful and minimalist. In general, I recommend Lantern. And I will come back if I have time later in Da Lat🫶🏻 (Original) Mình đi Đèn Lồng vào ngày 3/5, lúc đó mình book qua điện thoại.

The hotel provides amenities such as a computer station, express check-in and check-out, and free self-parking. Guests can also opt for a roundtrip airport shuttle service for an additional fee. While some guests have reported issues with room cleanliness and Wi-Fi connectivity, others have praised the spacious and clean rooms as well as the friendly staff.
Great relationship between quality & price. The staff were very kind and fabolous in personal treatment. Rooms very crean and the location is almost "downtown" z close to nigth market, lamentablemente, etc.

If you are looking for budget accom, this is for you. I booked this due to the good review in one of the website but it's actually not to my expectation as it's just two star hotel. There is a balcony with door, when you open the door (locked is spoilt), the wind breezes into the room. Front desk can speak a little bit better English than locals, but still hard to communicate comprehensively. Do take note if front desk wanted to retain your passport, please reject them. I realize if locals dont understand you, they will just hang up your calls. 😯 The room is good for two star grade. I will prefer a better grade hotel anyway. My bad for not checking properly. 😆 One good point, the massage beside is amazing!

The hotel Hihi is a nice and cozy place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms. The owner is a great guy, who can speak English well. There are no special scenary around the hotel.
Lovely, cozy homestay. Hosts offering snacks and drinks with an honesty jar was a cool and fun experience. The room is very clean and well furnished. The homestay is back in an alley so it's quiet and private. There are only a few rooms so the experience was much more personal than most other homestays.
