Linh Phước Temple in Da Lat is one of the most striking and intricately designed temples I’ve ever visited. When we arrived, it was extremely busy, buses, motorbikes, and cars all trying to squeeze into the last available parking spots. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere remained peaceful and respectful. The temple is covered in vibrant, detailed mosaic artwork made from glass, pottery, and tiles, every surface is a visual feast. The grounds begin with a peaceful garden filled with flowers and fruit trees, followed by an area selling religious and gemstone items. We entered the main worship hall next (note: shoulders and knees must be covered and shoes removed). Inside stood a serene golden Buddha with a halo, surrounded by ornate pillars and wall murals. The bell tower is another highlight. Visitors can write wishes on slips of paper, attach them to the protective film wrapped around the bell, and ring it for good luckyI rang it twice, just in case! The most breathtaking part was the giant standing Buddha, surrounded by rows of golden statues across multiple levels. There’s even a towering Buddha statue made entirely from dried flowers. Linh Phước Temple is not just a place of worship, it’s a living masterpiece. Definitely worth the trip.

This is one of our Dalat must-go pagodas. It is a historic Buddhist temple famous for its unique mosaic architecture, created from thousands of broken ceramic pieces and colored glass. They also have the Guinness world record for the most chrysanthemum built Guan Yin statue. The majestic Guan Yin hall was grand and spectacular. We also visited their collection hall as well as the 18 Level of Hell. Highly recommend.

I definitely recommend visiting this place. Be advised there is basement floor (B1 and B2) to visit for free. The place is reachable by train which departs at 09:55. Make sure you buy one way ticket at the entrance because the train heading back down is only an hour apart and there usually is not any other train there. It takes 30 minutes to get there so you will roughly only have 15 ~ 20 minutes on site if you choose round trip. You will find Grab taxis around the Temple for your way back.

A very interesting and beautiful place. I definitely recommend visiting it and not necessarily as part of a tour. Free entrance. We went by taxi on our own. Beautiful and very atmospheric. Lots of statues. There is an opportunity to go down to hell. It is better to go in good weather.

Every corner reveals another layer of detail, from the tall dragon statues to the stunning 49-meter tower. Inside, the main hall is filled with ornate statues and carvings, creating a spiritual yet visually overwhelming atmosphere. The temple also has a giant bell where visitors can write their wishes before ringing it, which feels both symbolic and memorable. It’s a bit outside the city center, but definitely worth the visit if you want to see something truly unique in Da Lat—both for its artistry and its spiritual significance.

Beautiful architecture- pictures said it all in the other comments What cannot be missed? Spend some time to go down to the basement, you’ll discover ‘HELL’, literally. Find the ‘Ox head and horse face’, the guardians of the underworld, and discover the eery world of the afterlife. No entrance fee. Free parking but do remember to take your bike before the parking locks at 17:30 😉

Travelers coming to enjoy nature please take note before coming/booking: swimming isn't allowed because "people have died in it before," kayaks and sup boards are hard to come by, either you book a guided tour in the city center, however if you want to rent solo for 1-2 hours you still pay 300-600k (someone has lost their mind, renting a scooter for a day is cheaper). Additionally, large ugly resorts have gated off and developed a large part of the lakeshore, well other "hidden" areas are littered with trash, but if you can look past that fact and try to get closer to the water, I've been told locals will report you. So yes, this lake is romantic and scenic, however, it isn't what it seems. It did offer me a nice drive, although you can encircle the entire lake. Over all, this experience was so disappointing for a natural-born lake girl.

A very nice lake and a pleasant, but long walk from the city if you're up for a nice hike. Many sights to see on the way there. I didn't go out on the lake, just sat on the shore and enjoyed a coffee and the cool clean air. There are both paddle boats and others you can rent. You can also take a cable car up to Truc Lam Buddhist monastery from the lake, which is a very serene and beautiful site. I went there last year from Robin Hill. Great views from the cable cars.

Nice place. The monastery is located on Truc Lam Yen Tu Street, on the top of Phuong Hoang Mountain. About 5 kilometers south of the center of Dalat, it is an ideal location for visitors to come and explore. Truc Lam Zen Monastery also has an outstanding view of Tuyen Lam Lake - the most beautiful lake in Dalat, as it stands next to the lake and is surrounded by hills and forests. Truc Lam Zen Monastery’s opening hours are from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It is also open for people who want to stay here and learn about Buddhism. You can ask the monks or nuns here to be allowed to stay. Initiated by the Vietnamese government in an effort to restore and promote the teachings of Zen Buddhism and Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen School, Truc Lam Zen Monastery was built from 1993 to 1994 by Zen Master Thich Thanh Tu. This pagoda has harmoniously combined different Zen schools in the world with Vietnamese culture into Vietnamese Zen.

So beautiful and peaceful. I cried so many times. I’m thankful for the opportunity to experience the beauty of Truc Lam monastery. I visited on a spiritual and healing journey. Lots of tourists here for photo ops. The grounds ate big enough to escape them for solitude, if you desire.

The Bamboo Forest has a stunning view of Tuyen Lam Lake—widely regarded as the most beautiful lake in Dalat. Nestled beside the lake and surrounded by rolling hills and forests provides a peaceful retreat in nature. Admission to the temple is free. While the Dalat cable car is the most scenic way to get there, you can also drive, as there is a parking area nearby. For the best experience, consider renting a motorbike or hiring a car with a driver for the day, allowing you to explore the picturesque surroundings of the lake after visiting the monastery.

Monastery was beautiful with incredible nature and bonsais surrounding it. My wife and I were able to do some pretty good birding around the monastery, seeing bulbuls, spider hunters, laughingthrushes, doves, drongos, mynas.

Walking around, you’ll notice the quiet atmosphere—it’s less about sightseeing and more about slowing down, breathing, and taking in the scenery. The view of the lake and pine-covered hills makes the whole place even more relaxing. It’s easy to get here by cable car or road, and it’s a good stop whether you’re looking for a cultural experience or just a serene break from Da Lat’s busy center.

Very beautiful pagoda located in Da Lat. Well maintained and clean, very colorful. I really enjoyed walking the site, and feel the calm of this place. We went late afternoon/start of evening and it is very pretty with the lights. Dont skip this beautiful place.

Chua Linh Son is a rather nice pagoda within the DaLat main city region and is most frequently visited by tourists. Although it is nice and interesting, with a lovely multi-storey stupa located in the rear garden, there are better (and more visually splendid) pagodas located within the city's region (eg. Thiền viện Vạn Hạnh & Chua Linh Quang) Please be polite when visiting ANY Buddhist pagodas and dress appropriately (basically cover knees and shoulders of both males and females)....all too often I see foreign tourists wearing shorts and/or tanktops (males) and short skirts/shorts and/or tops that reveal the shoulders (women).

Beautiful! Was under renovation for the upcoming new years celebrations when I visited but still lovely nonetheless the less. No entry ticket was required.

The architecture is simple yet beautiful, showing the elegance of Northern Vietnamese Buddhist tradition. There was a morning chanting session when I arrived. Everyone was sitting respectfully and mindfully, creating a very serene and spiritual energy. I felt truly grounded and peaceful just by being there. The monks are kind, and local devotees are welcoming and helpful. This is more than just a temple — it’s a place to come back to yourself. 👉 Highly recommended for anyone seeking spiritual peace and a deeper connection while in Da Lat.

Peaceful and ornate pagoda to have a quiet stroll. There's a school nextdoor, so you may hear and see the kids playing in the front. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

Visiting Bao Dai Palace in Da Lat was like stepping into a preserved chapter of Vietnam’s royal past. It was fascinating to walk through the home where Emperor Bao Dai and his family once lived, surrounded by pine forests and beautifully manicured gardens. The palace is well maintained and still holds much of its original charm. Inside, the rooms are decorated with the original 1930s–1940s furniture and layout, giving a glimpse into the royal lifestyle. You can explore two levels of the residence, including the reception areas, bedrooms, study rooms, and even the old bathroom and kitchen — all kept as they were when in use. The rooms are roped off but visible, and many have informative signs or portraits to give historical context. What stood out were the vibrant carpets, mid-century armchairs, and elegant views out to the lush gardens. Outside, the gardens are immaculately landscaped and full of bright flowers, trimmed hedges, and stone walkways — a peaceful place to slow down and take it all in. Set aside at least 60 to 90 minutes to explore properly. It’s not only a palace—it’s a time capsule, and definitely worth visiting while in Da Lat.

Many tourists visit here. Its worth visiting if you have spare time in Dalat. Yet if you are here for only a day or two, I recommend trying other places instead. I would say it is not something so unique or special relatively compared with places like the Crazy house etc.

Beautifully conserved palace in art deco style of the last emperor of Vietnam Well kept green grounds, a must visit if in Saigon.

Entrance with fee. Have to wear shoes covered upon entrance. It is a mansion, not really a palace. Have displayed cutletries, vases, etc. Have rooms of office, dining rooms, lounges etc. The surrounding area was well kept with pine trees, beautiful flowers, and greens. Very nice healthy environment

Although I don't really like the life of this last king of the Nguyen dynasty, this palace was well-preserved in very good condition. It showcased how luxury the Royal family's life used to be. Worth a try if you're interested in history.

This place is huge. The garden is amazing. The palace building is simple but elegant. You can also dressed up like a queen or princess and take photos for a reasonable price.

In 1953, under the initiative of the then-town council chairman Nguyễn Vy, the name was officially changed to “Valley of Love” (Thung Lũng Tình Yêu) as part of a wider movement to replace French-language place names. The valley is nestled among pine-covered hills and, following a dam constructed in 1972, a lake called Đa Thiện Lake was created in the valley floor which enhanced the scenic effect of water + forest + hills. The ticket seller was a fraud. He told us that there is a zipline for children and also Marriott cars. After I entered, it became clear that children cannot play on the zipline and also children cannot play on the Marriott cars.

Depending on time of year it can be very touristy and people push in front when waiting for the free buses. A bit tacky but the drinks and food are priced well.

This church stands out with its stunning and distinctive architecture. 🌸 The surrounding area is beautifully decorated with flowers that are iconic to the town, creating a perfect and harmonious atmosphere. A worth-visit spot for both spiritual reflection and breathtaking photos.

It’s a rainy Thursday in Dalat and we visited the Domaine de Marie church! It gives off French vibes and is very beautiful! French-Vietnamese colonial-style Catholic church and convent, characterized by its prominent deep pink exterior, tall triangular roof resembling a Central Highlands longhouse, and the presence of French-inspired stained-glass windows and European architecture. It combines the architectural features of Normandy, France, with the architectural elements of the indigenous ethnic groups. The complex also features a statue of Mary created in the image of a Vietnamese woman. It’s also observed to be one of the favourite tourist spot in Dalat, tour buses of visitors would drop by every few minutes.

The only place I personally recommend visiting in Dalat is here at Dalat Pink Cathedral. It is highly recommended to spend a quiet time here in the cathedral, leaning back elsewhere. It maintains the architectural style of the French colonial period and allows you to enjoy your thoughts while breathing in the clear air.

Domaine de Marie is a peaceful spot in Dalat with a touch of French colonial charm. The pink church set against the greenery feels both elegant and serene, making it a nice break from the busy city. The grounds are well-kept, and you can walk around to enjoy the quiet atmosphere or take photos of the unique architecture. It’s not a long visit, but definitely worth a stop if you’re exploring Dalat.

Lovely and peaceful church to simply spend time in prayer or silent adoration. The soft contemplative music soothes and yet uplifts. The convent grounds are beautiful and well kept, offering healing from life's noises. The various statues add to the wonder of nature: circular panes, shuttered windows, hydrangeas, roses, pine trees and more. Bumped into a small-built sister in a room by the side who happily shared the graces of the Miraculous Medal: God bless her and the Vincentians for their service to the needy.

I visited this a long time ago. Nice place of worshipping and beautiful. Coming back and it still has a charm. It also has a knitting shop.

Located just outside Da Lat, Linh An Pagoda is home to one of the tallest Buddha statues in Vietnam — a towering figure of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, standing at over 60 meters high. The sheer size and presence of the statue are truly awe-inspiring, especially as it looks out over the surrounding lush hills and valleys. Up close, we noticed that the statue is showing signs of weathering, with noticeable patches of peeling paint and many fragments scattered across the base. It’s a little unfortunate, but it doesn’t take away from the statue’s majesty or the peaceful atmosphere around it. Hopefully, restoration work will be carried out soon.m ( it needs some ) From the viewing platform beneath the statue, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views — including a clear line of sight to Thác Voi (Elephant Falls), which lies nearby and makes for a perfect add-on to your visit. In fact, the contrast between the roaring waterfall below and the serene figure above adds a dramatic spiritual element to the experience. There’s a small temple at the base, and the grounds are peaceful with very few tourists. Worth stopping by if you’re exploring the outskirts of Da Lat or headed toward the falls.

Linh An Pagoda was one of our many must-go tourist attractions. While we were stranded on our first day in Da Lat due to the early arrival of the sleeper bus from Ho Chi Minh City, we were lucky Linh An Pagoda opens at 6.:30am. It has one of the tallest Guan Yin statue and climbing it was quite difficult. But with my queen, I was able to complete without much difficulty. We had a great time visiting the Pagoda! 🏯 The parking was free, which was a nice bonus. 🚗 We didn’t have to walk far to explore all the interesting sights, and the highlight was definitely one of the largest statues I’ve ever seen—truly impressive! 🗿✨ Although the nearby waterfall was closed during our visit, we could still walk down the stairs and get pretty close to take some great pictures. 📸 🌊 The entire place had a lovely atmosphere, and we would definitely recommend visiting again. 👍 The only minor downside was that some of the decorations, like the deer figures, felt a bit out of place with the overall style. 🦌🎨 However, that didn’t take away from the experience, and it’s absolutely worth a visit!

Such a big and beautiful statue. If you climb up into the statue, you can have great view to the waterfall.

Nice temple and nice environment. We were there at the drums and bell ringing time with the teaching/reading on microphone so peaceful so it was supposed to be the best time for praying but the temple was closing time we were asked to leave. Staff at security was rude and released scary dog. Would had been a 5+ stars if not for the closing time and rude staff. Maybe rude is normal in Da Lat as it is apparent in many other places, but it should not a national norm especially at temples. Be nice and be friendly please especially relaxing and lovely place like Da Lat.

Garden was great, a lot of beautiful flowers, some really nice spots, like “stonehenge”. It was a shame, that you can’t take a photo of the temple but I understand.

Beautiful gardens and surroundings. You can enjoy the tranquility if you are lucky enough to avoid those tourists who spoil it for everyone else by shouting to each other. Some even managed to sneak their pets into the grounds. Wish the monks did a better job controlling the crowds.

Monastery and the surrounding gardens are gorgeous. Got a bit busy during Saturday with a lot of people taking photos in bigger groups. The lake was beautiful, however there is no hiking trail around. Quite a bit of trash as well.

Nice place not too far from the city center for a bit of trekking—lol. I visited Datanla Waterfall, and at the time, they were offering a Zipline + Coaster combo for 1 million VND per person. Not exactly cheap, but a fun experience overall. The zipline route is 1.5 km in total. The first stretch is 1 km, then you walk about 500 meters to the second zipline, which takes you to Waterfall 3. The coaster starts and ends at Waterfall 3 or Parking area. If you want to visit Waterfalls 1 and 2, you’ll need to hike uphill a bit. They’re not super close, but not too far either. After exploring, you can walk back to the Coaster at Waterfall 3. With the combo, you can use coaster to go up (parking area), then if you still want to use the coaster to go down, can exchange the, kind of, receipt to another coaster ticket for free (round trip). By the way, you can ride the coaster alone, which is a nice option if you prefer a solo experience. Be aware there’s another zipline and coaster option with a shorter distance which is cheaper and you may access from the main entrance. Staff are friendly. NOTE: if you want to actually see the waterfalls in their full beauty, don’t go during dry season - you will need a bit of rain for the best views (“water-fall”).

What an adventure we had at Datanla Falls, its not only about the natural beauty but also the thrill of getting there. If you’re taking the Alpine Coaster, I recommend opting for the long track it’s worth it. You pass through beautiful forested slopes and end up right at one of the most scenic waterfalls in Da Lat. We had a blast on it and was so much fun. The views along the way are fantastic and the coaster adds a layer of excitement to the experience. There are two main falls to see the second one (reachable via a shorter coaster ride or walk) features a huge King Kong statue which makes for a fun and unexpected photo stop. From there, you’ll find a mix of scenic bridges, wooden walkways, and tropical gardens that offer fantastic photo angles. The first falls are more natural and powerful, with rock platforms and small viewing terraces perfect for photos or a short rest. There’s a clear path with steps surrounded by lush greenery, making the walk very enjoyable. Both sites are clean, accessible, and well maintained. You can easily spend a few hours here if you include both falls and the coaster ride. A great mix of nature and fun definitely worth adding to your Da Lat trip. To get to the waterfall and back you need to ride the alpine coaster which cost 250k Dong per person. It is suitable and safe even for elderly. The waterfall is well maintained and have bathroom there. (They also have zipline at the waterfall)

My son and I purchased an adventurous package deal for 1 million and 50K VND/person (= to 40 USD), which included 1500 meters of alpine zip lining, a twisty roller coaster ride, and an admission to the upper and lower of the Datanla Water Falls. It was worthwhile and fun.

Datanla is one of those places that pretends to be about “nature” but actually runs on the good old pay-to-play model. You want to see the waterfall? Too bad, there’s no hiking in like a normal person. You either strap yourself to a zip line or hop on the gravity-powered toboggan. Nature with microtransactions. We chose the toboggan, 250k dongs per person. Picture a rollercoaster where you’re the operator, except you only control the brake. That’s it. The zip line? Looks like the discount version of every travel influencer’s drone footage. You’ll scream, you’ll dangle, and you’ll pay for it. The third option, the high rope course, doesn’t even lead to the waterfall. That’s just the bonus level where you wobble on ropes in a wedgie harness designed to make you question your life choices. And the big reward at the end—the waterfall? Totally okay. It’s water falling. Nothing epic, nothing terrible. Just wet gravity. Verdict: if you’ve ever dreamed of being your own rollercoaster driver, take the toboggan. Otherwise, skip the whole thing and spend your dongs on cold beer and street food that doesn’t require a seat belt.

Datanla Waterfall is one of Da Lat’s popular attractions, and it offers more than just a scenic waterfall. The highlight here is the alpine coaster that takes you down through the forest to reach the falls—fun, a little thrilling, and suitable for families. Once at the waterfall, the view is quite beautiful, with the sound of rushing water echoing through the greenery. The area is developed for tourism, so you’ll also find cable cars, adventure games, and walking trails if you want to spend more time. It can get busy, especially on weekends, but the organization is decent, so you won’t feel too overwhelmed. Overall, it’s a mix of natural beauty and outdoor activities—ideal if you want both sightseeing and a bit of adventure in Da Lat.

Beautiful waterfall layered with fun attractions (alpine coaster, ziplining, outdoor obstacles courses) definitely a memorable adventure for Da Lat visitors! Still operates under light rain. It was 250k vnd going for the longer alpine coaster (includes return from the waterfall stop) but also covers entry fee.

It's a train station that has historical significance in Vietnam, but it doesn't approach us in a special sense. It's just a place to sit in a shade chair for a while and avoid the heat. Da Lat Train Station remains as charming as ever, preserving the beauty of the past. I booked a night round-trip train ride, and the scenery along the way was truly captivating. Adding to the atmosphere, there was live violin music performed in the carriage, which made the journey even more memorable. Overall, it was a delightful and worthwhile experience!

An interesting place to see how first advancements into a modern age were made, and how they were forsaken and wasted. The tourist train ride takes you through the densely build sheds and intense farming constructs, which are littered with waste. There’s loud honking and very loud musical instruments being played ineptly throughout the train ride, bring NC earplugs if you’re sensitive. A bit overpriced.

The overall experience is ok but the ticket seller is not in advising tourist, we bought tickets for 2pm train and he advised us to return by 3.10pm but the journey took 30 mins and we dun have time to spend at linh phouc temple, we need to rush to catch the train and unable to finish touring the temple. He shall advise us to take the later return train. Overall good scenic and we took some photos at the station.

Beautiful old station with charming French architecture and vintage trains. Great for photos and a quick stroll. There's a small entrance fee, but it's worth it for the unique vibe and history.

Pleasant railway station and bit of history left over from the French. The rail journey itself is slow meandering in the best way, while there is live music on board to set the atmosphere.

Price is 10 time higher than 2024. Now VND 50,000 pax. It is not valuable. Just old style train station. Dont understand why increases 50k from 5k? I don't recommend to visit. Just waste time and money even though it is small.

There are five masses every Sunday and I could not get inside since I believe they would only open for masses which is a bit of a pity since Cathedral are meant to open to public for prayers and so on. Its original name seems to be Saint Nicholas Cathedral. Long ago, there was a cemetery all around the edifice. It's likely to be replaced by many, many benches present outside the cathedral and other little buildings behind it. Would that be a way to give the deceased one a place to rest forever instead of the old cemetery mentioned above? I will gladly put the highest five stars when I would be able to go inside and get the beauty in front and above both my eyes. That's what the Bible says, always contemplate what will happen in front and above your eyes after all.

I visited Con Ga Church on Sunday afternoon, and it was quite crowded as a service was taking place. Despite the number of people, the atmosphere remained peaceful and solemn, creating a serene experience in the heart of the city. The church's Gothic architecture is impressive, with its tall bell tower and beautiful stained-glass windows. The spacious courtyard also offers a nice view of Da Lat. Since a service was in progress, I couldn't explore much inside, but I could still appreciate the sacred and historical ambiance of the place. For those who want a quieter visit, it might be better to come at a less busy time. Overall, it's a wonderful place to visit, combining architectural beauty with a tranquil atmosphere, even when crowded.

The church in Da Lat can be said to be striking with its color too. In addition to its striking color, this church is still active. If we were there yesterday, we could only visit the outer area. But in the outer area, if we want to sit and pray, we can. Because there is a garden area that we can sit in. One of the places we can visit when we go to Da Lat.

I visited on Easter Sunday and saw a big mass happening and it was really special to witness. I heard this is one of the oldest and most iconic cathedrals in Da Lat, and it definitely has a historical charm. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a lovely place to stop by, whether you’re religious or just love beautiful buildings. Worth a visit!

Beautiful cathedral aka The Rooster Church. I was welcomed for 5:15 mass. Lovely.

Looks wonderful and very well maintained by the authorities. Situated very near to city centre and can be viewed and visited by walk from market place easily. Construction was done more than 50 years back and has withstood the condition well.

Fine experience They have a huge collection of herritages, geographical samples, flora and fauna, animals and reptiles... with detailed information I would expect more to see interacting sections in the future. It has been the same for so many years

Overall not too bad, this is not a must visit site of Dalat but you may come if have time. I found it average and there is a lunch break. Pls check the time before make your trip.

If you like to have more knowledge about Dalat and ethnic minorities in Central Highland, you should come here. However, the museum lacks of light and seems to be too quiet to feel safe. Just my personal thoughts.

The palace of Nam Phuong Hoang Hau is really beautiful, the entry ticket cost 22K only. A definitely must-go place

The museum is nice and quiet, you can also visit the queens palace house and walk around the garden area. Very reasonable price 22k. Not much information to read (at least in English) but lots of imagery and objects to look at! The taxidermies were fun!!

Very informative! I can’t believe I skipped this place until my very last day in Dalat. Made me appreciate and understand more about Dalat and Lam Dong province.

Good regional museum with many unique artefacts from Cat Tien. The Koho and Empress Nam Phuong exhibitions are the highlights.

It’s a pleasant walk around (we spent 14 minutes) this park. The ‘Flower’ garden is taking it a notch above what it is. The walkways and ponds can be cleaned up and perhaps a few more gardeners employed to prune and get rid of dead leaves and branches. Also a wider variety of flowers would provide more interest.

Its worth the visit for a few hours, I would recommend coming in flower season to see everything in bloom.

Some very beautiful beds but some steel and concrete 'statues' for photo ops where a little kitch. The absolute best was the 2 Orchid Galleries. Hundreds, if not Thousands of specimens.

There is a electric tram service for 200k. For those whom do not want to walk and explore the whole garden.

This is a very special place and well worth the walk from the city centre. It is far more majestic in real life than the camera can capture. There are 3 large golden Buddhas, beautiful gardens and rich temples. It's a peaceful spot and also has some lovely views out over the city. It's a nice walk to the temple, with lots of good bubble milk tea shops along the route!

A well maintained temple. There are some ongoing constructions on the side of the temple. The Buddha status is large and beautiful. There are 2 entrances to this temple, one from the main road is steep and lots of potholes. Use the side road which is gentler and well-paved. Beware of tour buses if driving.

Golden Buddha Pagoda or Van Hanh Zen Monastery (Thiền Viện Vạn Hạnh) was built in 1952. Most famous thing of the monastery is the golden statue of the Buddha's Flower Sermon (Phật Thích Ca niêm hoa vi tiếu) was built on 2002; It's the biggest Buddha in Dalat, and why it was called Golden Buddha pagoda. Beautiful temple and you can get here by car or motorbike, there's a tons of the parking lots and no entrance fee but it's always recommended to make a donation boxes. Cozy temple, Gorgeous space, Garden and a good place for some meditation andor reflection.

I visited it many times but the most prominent was the day when I went there to try out a collective meditation. Whether you are a buddhist or not — you should take a try. It was one of the friendliest and heartwarming meditation sessions in my life — and all in those amazing surroundings! Truly blessed to experience it 🙏🪷

For me personally, this was the most special and unforgettable experience in Da Lat. It’s amazing how the cultivation, harvesting, and preparation of tea take place before it reaches our table. I wholeheartedly recommend it!🌿

Good relax place. On your way to Cau Dat Tea Village, there are many cafe shops with good view. You can atop by any place. Drinks are cheap price.

Noce place to visit but not recommended for dinning. Food and drink here for demonstration only, poor in taste. Service here is also poor. We have to wait for more than half an hour to be served.

The tea farm has been dissolved and closed 🙁 followed the google map to find the tea farm but in vain, only a few stalls selling tea and fruit. But can walk up the hill to take pictures.

Amazing views from this 3-container tea-shop/tea-room in the middle of the tea fields. Order a tea, buy some tea and drink your tea while you enjoy the view of the magnificent tea fields and the whole area. One of the most surprising spots near Dalat and mostly Vietnamese visitors.

I went go to there with my family. It was a great trip. This place mixes a little bit of poetic and classic. You can see colorful flower, play golf. You also can watch gong performances. The atmosphere here will help you fell comfortable.

I can’t say much about this. Ticket fare is 250k dong per person, and another 70k if you want the lunch “special”. There are some discrepancies you need to know. While inside, everything is technically “free”. But, it’ll be mainly inconvenient and you’re literally paying just to hike. You’ll have a lot of uphill walks, not recommended for older people. There’s also a 2 hour personal driver but it’s an extra 1mil dong to rent. It’s just about taking pictures and what not. The “play place” that they advertise is mainly under construction so don’t bother looking forward to many rides. In any case, fun if you’re all about hiking and walking. Terrible if you’re looking to spend time with family and the kids.

Beautiful place. The peacocks and otger aninals are roaming free. Very close to nature. Feels colder than other places we've been in. The bathrooms inside the bungalow is beautiful and aesthetic. The staff are friendly and accomodating. This place is for you if love walking/trekking. It can be tiring going around. But the view is so worth it. Just a few steps to the valley of love. The landscaping is beautiful and tge plants and flowers are well kept. The rooms also have a fridge and heaters. You can also request for extra blankets. It would be nice if they have bonfires and an open kitchen. Overall great experience. We had a great time resting. The place can also invoke inspiration. It's nearby the valley of love for a reason.

Super large facility and very well maintained with tons of flowers and well groomed greens. Food was great at the hut house. Aboriginal music performance was awesome and fun. A beautiful place for visiting, clean and good organization, staffs are helpful. I would like to recommend this place as an ideal tourism point when travelling to Da lat, Vietnam. However, it will be better if the manager chooses suitable music that can lift up good mood and good feeling for people visiting the area.

A good park. But the "Zoo" section is completely disasters. Poor animals imprisoned in smallest cages, have a health defects and mutation. This mad attraction causes only tears by unbelievable cruelty to animals. Don't be a sponsor of this ferocity.

Hoa Son Dien Trang. The name alone sounds like you’re about to enter a zen garden, maybe meet a monk, maybe discover enlightenment. Instead, you get a crash course in neglect with a side of horror vibes. At the top, there are spots that would make Instagrammers cry tears of joy—if someone maintained them. Viewpoints, bridges, angles straight out of a travel magazine. But instead of chic and polished, it’s more “rustic tetanus.” Still gorgeous if you squint, but also a reminder that nobody’s cared in a long while. Further down, things slip into neglecteeed (say it with your worst French accent for maximum effect). Patchy grass, sad benches, and that unmistakable aura of “abandoned DIY project.” And then you reach the bottom. That’s where the park fully embraces its inner slasher movie. An abandoned pub sits there, empty and dusty—but the pool table still works, because the apocalypse always leaves one game running. Surrounding it, a cluster of forgotten lodges, lined up like discount horror-movie sets. Perfect if you’ve ever dreamed of starring in “Tourist Gets Axed, Part II.” Entry fee? 50k dong per person. If you love abandoned places, you’ll be thrilled. If you don’t, you basically paid for the privilege of starring in your own B-grade horror flick. Stars? Two out of five. One for the indestructible pool table, and one because the top could’ve been Instagram gold if anyone had cared.

DO NOT GO HERE. The animals are treated terribly. Two dogs were locked up in windowless dog houses that were covered with feces and urine, it smelled horrible and the dogs were howling (pictures 1,2,5). Other dogs were similarly penned into small enclosures and were suffering. When I saw the dog in the first picture it was so excited as if it hadn’t played with anyone in so long. The owners of this place should be ashamed for profiting off the suffering of these animals. The owners should improve the homes for their animals and allow them space to live and play. Despicable.

This place was under renovation when we went. They were planting many flowers by the wayside. The place is big but it has a lot of spots for picture taking. It would look much better if they had made them as natural as possible.

If you are looking for somewhere to go sightseeing. Go there. The atmosphare at there is fresh and the landscapes are gorgeous. There are lots of check in positions and so many interesting things. However you should awared that when you wanna take some photos you have to line up because of crowd. The visit day of me had a lot of visiter so i waited in some long line then.

In the misty scene of Da Lat always hides interesting surprises. You are a person who travelled to Dalat city a lot of times does not mean you know this place – a great place. That is Hoa Son Dien Trang tourist site. If you have the opportunity to visit Da Lat city, let’s try to conquer this place to know about a new and fancy area.

This is not my favorite place. Too many man-made things that spoid the nature around. They have beautiful jungle but not good design of garden.

The colors do not coordinate with each other, creating a rather confusing overall look without many attractions. Tickets range from 100,000 to 60,000 VND for children.

A wide garden of flowers in striking colours, although with not as much varieties as expected. Cost 120k per pax, there's a coffee house within the grounds. The views are beautiful though.

Not the flower season, not so blooming and weather is cloudy and drizzling. Not a must visit place and you may avoid if not enough time.

Place for healing too. Lots of great flower everywhere. Not crowded. Enjoy the time while taking pictures. You can buy their products too.

Entrance ticket: 100k Dong per person, very expensive. Be careful of when you want to visit. Some of the times, no flowers, and some of the times, packed with people, so difficult to take nice photos. Once you seen a flower garden, you seen it all. This place is just full of flowers, no artificial statues or windmills or artifacts. It gets boring after 10 minutes as you know they got nothing else to show, so they start showing you tomatoes and vegetables.

A place with lots and lots of flowers but they are all grown in pots I guess it makes it easier to change it when it dies. A local recommended this place because it has lots of different flowers/plants but I thought it was a bit boring. Maybe it’s because I deal with flowers for my job. If you love flowers come and check it out!

One of the best beautiful church in Dalat. The glass patterns are lovely and for now this church is only used for ethnic children raising. You can visit anytime except lunch hour.

Quiet and lovely church devoted to Montagnard peoples of Lam Dong Province, especially to the K'ho people. Well maintained and full of flowers.

Closed on a Saturday morning :( The church looks so intriguing from the outside, I'll definitely try to see the interior if I ever come back to Dalat.

The third oldest pagoda monastery in Da Lat. Beautifully maintained. For those fit enough, plan to hike 200 m up to the mother goddess statue. Houses an active cloister of nuns.

After eating at a wonderful restaurant nearby, we decided to take a walk in this pleasant neighbourhood replete with flowers. It was by chance that we saw this pagoda from afar and decided to visit. The nuns were so kind, they told us to climb up a small hill. The climb was pleasant and the sights you see on the hike (sleeping buddha, rooster statue, flowers) were delightful. The atmosphere of the peak with a huge lady Buddha statue is so serene and many benches are available for you to really immerse yourself in it.

Beautiful pagoda and monastery in Dalat.

We came to visit on the worst possible day because it was raining. The mosquitoes are thirsty for blood so when my queen and I showed up, it’s like Buddha showing up to feed himself to eagles, a divine intervention. We literally cruised through and had no time to appreciate the divinity, we are glad photos were made as memories. We encountered a group of followers and observed their routines.

This little temple has much things to see as not only a giant dragon with a pond around it, also figures from <Journey to the West>. And there's the new born Buddha declaring "On heaven and earth, I alone am honored". Small pagodas are there too. Not known for tourists, worth a visit.

Magnificent and beautiful, as the weather was part of this majestic experience. I wish that time would never stop; I would have been able to stay there forever. Apart from the perfect symmetry and timeless architecture, it is always a great experience to walk through every single pagoda on a beautiful sunny day as I had that peculiar day of February.

The park was beautiful, we were there alone, enjoying the statues. Then suddenly a dog came towards us, started chasing us, and barking, eventually bit me in the leg. Had to take rabies shot, so not really the most pleasant visit of a temple. 😔

Poor decoration. Every statue there looks ugly and vicious! I have a unsafety feeling when I come into the pagoda.

Crazy House (Hang Nga Villa) in Da Lat is unlike anything I’ve ever seen — it feels more like stepping into a dream than visiting a regular building. The architecture is wild, full of twisting stairways, tree-like structures, hidden corners, and rooms that look straight out of a fantasy movie. Every turn reveals something unexpected, so it’s both playful and a little surreal. Walking around feels like being inside a giant piece of art, and it’s definitely a spot that makes for unique photos. Some paths are quite narrow and steep, so you’ll want to wear comfortable shoes. Overall, Crazy House is less about luxury and more about the creativity and imagination behind it. If you’re in Da Lat and want a fun, quirky experience, this place should be on your list.

Visited as guest for sightseeing. Amazing design with go-wild creativity. Feels like a playground. Entrance fee is 80k per adult. Recommended for one-two hours visit. Especially on a gloomy day. Btw though some reviews mentioned but I couldn't find its tickets on klook.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in the Bear Room. I was expecting this to be a rather unique stay but it far exceeded my expectations. It’s a very charming place to spend a few nights. The staff are very warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the bear wasn’t even creepy to stare the room with at night - he was very cute around the clock! I knew to expect visitors passing by during the day and trying to get into the room and it didn’t bother us at all, it was part of the experience.

I came here just to look at the architecture, the name says it all. Great views of surrounding area. Quirky style everywhere you look. Kids will want to stay all day. Bus loads of tour groups walk through on the weekend making it a little cramped and noisy.

I visited not as a guest, but out of curiosity about this very impressive building and its structures. It turned out to be truly admirable — the creativity that must have gone into making it is mind-blowing. Although I thought it was great, it’s a shame that you can’t pay for tickets using a credit card or Apple Pay. It seems quite common here that only cash is accepted, which isn’t ideal for convenience.

Fun place to explore. Safety could be improved quite a bit. There are some dicey staircases. Ticket price of 80,000 VND is reasonable, but the place gets a bit crowded even during the off-season.

Great place for photo ops only. Nothing else to do, can spend 5-10 mins on the bridge. No proper parking, so much park on road. Flowers didn't smell great through, but looks beautiful ❤️

The flower park during the Dalat Flower Festival is awesome. Worth way more than the admission price and is gorgeous 👍👍

This place is absolutely beautiful and magical. They have done a great job in keeping it well maintained. There’s a wide diversity of flowers and many pathways with decoration all around. I felt like I was in a fairytale. You can easily spend 2 hours in this place taking the time to absorb all its beauty. There’s benches all around for you to sit down and relax. It’s a good idea to bring a snack and just spend the entire afternoon there and then head to the night market for dinner and some more fun.

The park is very nice and beautiful with many kinds of flowers in Da Lat city. The part was built in 1966 during the war by local people and until 2003 the park was repair again and took many types of flower for tourists visiting. The ticket price for adult is 100.000 VND ( 4$) and children is 50.000 VND ( 2$). Inside the park has some shop they sale many kinds of goods from flowers.

Lovely place to see wife Verity of flowers growing up in beautiful setup and under artificial conditions. The flower farming is one of the major occupation of Da Lat. These farms look wonderful from sky above when flying from Da lat to HCM.

Prenn Waterfall is still there but it has been included as a small part of Prenn Tea Resort. Not that interesting to look at as you can't do much there. Just to alert those who are going here - There are no more animals here, which is a good thing. However, you are better off going to another nearby waterfall called Datanla f u want to see one, and play some thrill rides as well.

The waterfall is nice butnot that impressive and is part of a pricey resort... that was completly empty! Very overpriced just to see the waterfall. You can also climb 636 steps+ to get to a small temple that seems to have been built by the Tea Resort... does not look or feel genuine. The resort looks nice and is in a nice setting by the forest and the mountain. Lots of grandiose settings and a large pool. Many activities possible for people staying at the resort.

Da Lat is a great city with lots of tourist things to see and do. However the waterfalls experience are sadly not worth the price anymore. We went by this place with the sim of visiting, we looked at the overly complicated pricing menu and just gave up. The waterfalls should be changed back to their original natural beauty, not now be part of a kids adventure tourist theme park. Definitely not worth the money which is why we did not go in 😢

Do not enter! As with many other waterfalls around Dalat, this is a kind of amusement park. Only combi tickets are sold for VND 220,000, visiting only the waterfall (did cost VND 50,000) is no longer possible. It's a shame!

Absolutely atrocious prices 440,000 for entrance ticket to their park and the waterfall. Don't bother. Arrived at 11am and there were only two cars and no motorbikes parked up... Guess everyone hates it too! Haha Go to Datanla waterfall instead, wayyyy better and cheaper and looks more impressive too.

Aside from its far distance from the city, waterfall is not that impressive. In addition, service is terrible and staff are not friendly and cannot speak good English. You should not waste your time coming here when visiting Dalat.

Entrance fee is high, and not worth it just to see the waterfall (which has been ruined by tacky statues). If you're interested in going to the little water park they have there, maybe it's worth it? But overall I was unimpressed.

Me Linh Coffee Garden offers a unique and insightful glimpse into the world of coffee production. It was a genuinely nice experience to see the process firsthand, from the coffee plants to the final cup. The views from the garden are also quite lovely, providing a peaceful backdrop to the experience. I opted for the weasel cherry coffee, drawn in by the promise of its sweetness. It was certainly an interesting and novel flavor, and I appreciate the opportunity to try such a specialized coffee. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to explain the unique process involved, which added to the overall educational aspect of the visit. However, it's worth noting that the coffee at Me Linh is definitely on the pricier side. While the experience and the uniqueness of the weasel cherry coffee were appealing, I think it might be more of a "first-time" indulgence. It's a great place to learn and try something new, but perhaps not a regular coffee stop for those on a budget. Overall, Me Linh Coffee Garden is a worthwhile visit for coffee enthusiasts who want to delve deeper into the origins of their favorite beverage. The experience is definitely memorable, and the weasel cherry coffee is a conversation starter. Just be prepared for the premium price tag."

We love Tom the Civet, a retired civet who has finished his pooping tasks. The views were spectacular and really made the coffee taste better. I tried a cherry weasel coffee, and was intrigued by the flavor and the way it is processed… however, I will say I have already been spoiled by great coffee in Vietnam. While the novelty and uniqueness of weasel coffee is amazing, I had it black as I felt dunking your expensive coffee in milk and sugar just ruins the whole point, but the black weasel coffee was just that: black coffee in the end. As a normal dude, weasel coffee was a great experience but something my plebeian tongue will not be indulging in the near or even far future.

Little bit a turists trap. Good view only. Servise was terrible. There are 20 workers and All they care about is their phone. Sandwiches are good for 60k. We bought ice cocoa with entry fee for 100k per persone and thats was Nice. That is all. Shitty place after our experience.

This place is so huge with lots of instagramable spots for you and your loved ones to take their photos. Their weasel coffee was also spot on. And not to forget, you can have one of the most wonderful view in Dalat while enjoying your coffee.

During the day, it's dead here during the week days. I've been here at night prior as that's the typical recommended time to go to this place. At night all the lights along the walk paths are turned on which looks pretty. This place has been here for a long time now, so many have come, seen and gone from this place. The coffee is so-so and the first time trying weasel coffee. It's definitely not for me. 😅

Wonderful visit, beautiful coffee plantation. Well built footpaths through at a high above the coffee trees. Inter plant of many fruits trees. A lot art figures to attract a lot of tourists from all over. To visit & take pictures. On the higher areas live band, flower gardens, coffee drinking areas. From VND105,000 onward. Hot or cold. +entrance to visit & take photos.

Worth a visit if you're in Da Lat. The ride lasts about 10-12 mins each way and is 150k return. There's a cafe at the top with nice coffee. You can wander around the Zen monastery. I spent about 1 hr 45 min total on my visit.

Had an amazing experience here! It’s like a small shopping area, and there’s even a vegetable buffet where you can enjoy as many veggies as you want for a very cheap price. The views are fantastic, offering a panoramic look over the town of Da Lat. The place closes after 5 PM, but it’s conveniently located near the city center, right at the top of Robin Hill.

Fantastic morning/afternoon spent here. The facilities are excellent and the cafes are great value. Be advised though,if you do want to enter the monastery then be properly dressed as no shorts or tank tops for men and women are allowed.

Stunning views from cable car approx 300,000 VND return for 2 adults and well worth it. The monetary at the top has the most beautiful gardens. Cafe/food both sides of the tram offered nice food and drinks and prices were not inflated even though it's a tourist spot. We went by grab nice inexpensive journey

May 2025 Cable car at Dalat area. For one way is 120,000 vnd, and for go and return ticket is 150,000 vnd per person. The view was nice and very high area can be seen. There is a cafe on next stop too for rest.

The view during the ride up and down is really beautiful, everything looks clean and well-maintained. However, once you reach the top, there isn’t much to see besides the scenery, so we only stayed for a short while. We bought our round-trip tickets on Klook for a total of IDR 89,454/person.

The ride was smooth and only 150k for both ways. The cable car looks really safe and new. Even during the rain, I was not scared. On other side there is a temple and a small garden.

Interesting museum with informations available on English. It's relatively small manor but have excellent photo spots all over general area. Some areas (e.g. helicopter, smaller villas) need extra fee for entrance and photo.

Cool place to check out. The flowers and scenery was very beautiful and the helicopter pad in the back was cool. Not a lot to do for kids and the flowers were fake. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. They also had an option to get your picture on a horse or go for a ride. Not a bad place to check out, but also not on the top of my list of the best places to go to in Dalat, Vietnam.

Learned an important piece of Da Lat's history. An asset that is very well-kept, and the yard looked perfect. For tourists with young children like my family, having the stall selling slushies really helped to keep them happy 😊. i think this Palace is a must-visit for any tourist here.

A nice place to visit. I paid 90,000 vnd for 1 person, and got free flower tea. You can ride a horse if you want, but enjoying the beautiful surroundings with flowers is enough for me.

Highly recommend! Nice historical place to visit. We bought the ticket of 150k for the entrance fee and activities. A ticket for the entrance only with no activities is 50k (if I remember correctly). 6 Activities included in the ticket are one-way tram ride, taking picture with horses, games (mini-golf), photos with wax statues, 1 soda at the cafeteria, and pictures in king/queen clothes. One-way tram ride is too short. But all other activities are really fun.

- Entrance fee: USD 6+ (If I remembered correctly) - Love the surrounding landscape, gardens, nature. Plenty of place to snap photos. - The palace itself is not that impressive. Unless you're into the story and history behind it other than that it's quite mundane. The inside of the palace is also quite small. It took about 10 mins to completely walk around every room and snap a quick photo of each.

Pretty amazing historic building to sustain to this date. Learning more about my roots and of course, our 13th and final emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. He has a total of 3 locations and I only get to visit one of them during this trip. Will definitely check out the other 2 when I come up here again in the near future. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time visiting Puppy Farm and Farm 2 with Vegetables distance 300 meters walk in Da Lat – truly a fun and family-friendly attraction with lots of animals, gardens, and activities. 🐶 Animal Encounters Not just puppies! We met fluffy Samoyeds, guinea pigs, capybaras, raccoons, and alpacas. The staff allowed us to interact and take photos, which made the visit even more memorable. 🌸 Scenic Gardens & Greenhouses The farm is well-organized with colorful flower gardens, cactus zones, and hydroponic fruits & vegetables. Every corner is clean and picture-perfect. 🎥 Fun Activities One of the highlights was the rainbow dry slide – super fun and exciting (we even recorded a video of it 🎬). Definitely adds an adventurous touch to the visit beyond just animals and flowers! 📸 Overall Experience Clean, well-maintained, and full of variety. Do not go here if you care about animals. The good: Both slides were super fun and unlimited use for 100k, the flowers and garden was beautiful, the scooter parking was only 3k VND, and the Misty enchanted forest walkthrough area was very whimsical. The mid: capybaras and guinea pigs were cool and seemed well taken care of. Fresh water in capybara enclosure, and fresh sawdust in Guinea pig land. The raccoons seemed pretty chill too. The bad: anything else related to the animals. 2 pens each with 15 dogs, no toys, no stimulation aside from people and treats. Constant treats. Sounds of about 50 additional dogs barking from a back area which we couldn't see. We saw a dog fight that took the staff way too long to react to. A dog needed first aid after and they did it in the middle of the pen, while a customer fed dogs treats literally on top of where staff was trying to bandage a dog leg. Staff did nothing to move the customer away to prevent another issue. It got worse outside. The goat \ alpaca \ llama \ donkey pen was abysmal. So small and absolutely crowded. No where for goats to climb. The rabbit area was depressing as well. Multiple matted and stained bunnies, most with some kind of limp, and a few with something obviously wrong with their butts so they couldnt sit. Bird area was closed off. From the sounds inside, way too many birds, though it was an open area in there - through the bars I could see another dozen bunnies in small cages, a small enclosure for ground hogs, and another small enclosure that had about 8 meerkats. At the back of the bird cage was a small area that had 4 peacocks, both males had extremely mangled tail plumage. Please, if you want the slide, go somewhere else that doesnt treat animals like this. This was awful and it's my first regret so far of Vietnam. Puppy Farm, please do better.

Great place to experience so.e puppy love! A variety of dog breeds, ranging from Goldie's to huskies collie, pom etc! Can also view and feedracoons, hamsters, camel, ponies and rams up close. I was very lucky to witness a ram fight!

Was at Puppy Farm in April with the family. Kids loved it when they got to see capybara. Feed guinea pigs and goats. Beautiful place for a family photo. They also have strawberries and tomatoes farm across the road as well.

SINGLE GREATEST thing you could do in Dalat. It was a mere 100,000vnd per person for access to everything. This gets you access to all the animals (food costs 10,000vnd per cup) but sitting and patting them cost nothing. Also gets you access to the rainbow slide (ride as many times as you want) the slide is unreal fun. Also a beautiful garden area with flowers and plant life. We had not smiled that much in a long time, being crash tackled by the cutest dogs will do that to anyone. An absolute MUST do in Dalat

This square definitely solidifies Da Lat's place as a UNESCO Creative City. It's super quirky, a really cool space to hang out, and great views across the lake to the mountains. It has a GO! grocery store as well as an underground mall attached. It's great for people watching and socializing evenings and weekends. The Highlands Coffee on site is in this wacky green building that looks like a flower bud! Super fun environment overall.

Right across from Xuan Huong Lake, Lam Vien Square is a massive, open urban space that truly comes alive on weekends. The stepped walkways from the lakeside road lead up to the heart of the square, where two eye-catching structures steal the show: the green glass artichoke-shaped dome, which houses a Highlands Coffee shop, and the bright yellow flower bud-shaped dome, inspired by the wild sunflower (da quy) — one of Da Lat’s floral icons. The design is modern and symbolic, giving this square a unique architectural identity. Along the steps and throughout the plaza are plenty of places to sit and relax, making it perfect for people-watching or taking in the scenery. On weekends, the square becomes a vibrant gathering spot for locals. Families fly kites, students hang out, and street vendors set up stalls selling snacks and toys. Beneath the square is an entrance to a shopping center with a cinema, GO! Supermarket, cafés, and various specialty shops — ideal for grabbing a bite or cooling off inside. With the lake views, creative landscaping, and cultural vibe, Lam Vien Square is a great place to unwind, explore, and snap some memorable photos.

It is a nice place to sit down and chill and people watch and also they also have a lot of people there with camera offering photography services and also there are people with dogs offering to take pictures with their dogs and also I went there during the mid autumn festival and there were a lot of performances like lion dance and I also witness a school project taking place there and the kids were partying in the square overall is just so very lively and bustling please and there were also a lot of vendors there selling snacks so you can also go there and have some snacks and it is also facing the lake and the lake also have the snacks but watch out if it’s raining it will be quite empty and slippery on the steps but overall great place to hang out and is also the place where the residences go to hang out there’s also the bulb which is highland coffee, which is also very nice place to sit and have some coffee and also the go Dalat store, which is a grocery store that sells all the groceries you need at a cheap price.

Very nice public square for people to hang out, skates... Supermarket right below. Tet Fun Fair is much better compared to past Lunar New Years, not just games but also shops selling toys and accessories nowadays.

This sculpture building is spectacular and definitely an attraction here in Dalat. Located beside the Dalat Opera House and above one of the rarest shopping centre asides Dalat Center, GO!. Very crowded and full of patriotic visitors by the row of Vietnam flags 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳

Just front of Ho Xuan Huong lake. Nice place to hang out with your friends and family or couple. But just for sightseeing, and Ho Xuan Hương lake's view, fresh air. Nothing special except sun flower building and artichoke building.

We visited LangBiang Mountain on 30/8/2025@8am and it was such a memorable experience. The staff were all dressed in the same red uniform with the yellow star – just like the Vietnamese national flag – creating a very festive and patriotic mood, especially since it was so close to Vietnam National Day on 2/9/2025. 🇻🇳✨ The journey up the mountain was smooth with the green jeeps, and along the way we enjoyed the fresh, cool air and scenic views. Despite the misty and rainy weather, the atmosphere was refreshing and added a mysterious charm to the mountain. At the top, we had fun taking photos with unique decorations and flower gardens, especially the hydrangeas and succulents. Even though the view was covered with clouds, it felt like standing above the sky. 🌿🌸☁️ The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the visit more enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit landmark when in Da Lat – a place that combines natural beauty, local culture, and national pride all in one.

Trekking in here is the bestttttt experience! I used to go by car but trekking make it much more memorable! The view just like the lord of the rings sooo beautiful 🤩💚

Though the views are legitimately great from Radar Peak (only reason this gets 2 stars), unfortunately, ultimately I just don't think this is worth the hassle. Came here to take the wild path up to the taller peak. It's been well documented that this is a free path, and I in fact met other travelers this same day who took it no problem. The security guard however hassled me to pay 50k. I didn't argue since I didn't want trouble, but scammy through and through. Having paid, they had me scan the ticket, and then immediately leave the paid area to take the wild path. Really disheartening and icky to start. After taking the trail to the taller peak (Lang Biang), having already paid, I decided to check out Radar Peak. The paid trail is unfortunately dirty (as in rubbish all over) and not super well maintained. If we're being charged entrance fees, should some of those funds go to conservation of the nature area ensuring it's clean? To top it off, there were campfires all over off the trail, embers still smouldering. Paired with sleeping bags and makeshift shelters. So random people were likely in the woods somewhere - fun little addition from a safety point of view. The view is ultimately inarguably good, and maybe the jeep version of this would be better. But as a hiker, I simply wouldn't recommend it, even if the payoff is nice.

I hiked to the Lang Biang Peak from the parking place. I parked my scooter here for free and the entrance to the park is 50k dong. Roughly half way up the mountain you will pass a small checkpoint, where i was asked by an old man to show my ticket and write down my name and phone number. From there its around 1 hour more to the peak. The hike takes around 3.5 to 4 hours and is somewhat challenging, specially the last part is kinda steep and was slippery, as it had rained the day before. You can check the hike in all trails app for navigation. Make sure you find the right entry to the trail (outside the entrange gate on the right side there is a arch gate - see photo). Most of the hike goes through needle tree forest and is a little bit uninspiring. Later it goes through rainy type forest. The view on the peak is nice though. If you are looking for a small challenge or outdoor activity go for it. But if you have other hikes planned on your travel, you can also skip it.

Bad service , when going up force us to buy 6 person a car for 720k for return evenonky 4 person, when wanna travel back but need to wait for more than 30 mins. Scenery is nice world class but service is lousy.

Most beautiful and wild. Wild Horses, buffalo and something else following me. Be careful following the trail to the top. I got lost and chased by buffalo and ended up taking an extra 3 hours fighting my way up a steep incline 60 degrees to get there. Bruises and cuts et al. The park drivers wanted 720,000vnd to drive me back down. I walked it out in less than an hour.

It is cool and nice view of entire Dalat area. - entrance fee VND 50k pax - car to top area VND 120k pax I don't recommend walking to reach top. Should use Car. I visit 14:00 and stay 1 and half hour. Used to Grab. It was Okey.

There are five masses every Sunday and I could not get inside since I believe they would only open for masses which is a bit of a pity since Cathedral are meant to open to public for prayers and so on. Its original name seems to be Saint Nicholas Cathedral. Long ago, there was a cemetery all around the edifice. It's likely to be replaced by many, many benches present outside the cathedral and other little buildings behind it. Would that be a way to give the deceased one a place to rest forever instead of the old cemetery mentioned above? I will gladly put the highest five stars when I would be able to go inside and get the beauty in front and above both my eyes. That's what the Bible says, always contemplate what will happen in front and above your eyes after all.

The church in Da Lat can be said to be striking with its color too. In addition to its striking color, this church is still active. If we were there yesterday, we could only visit the outer area. But in the outer area, if we want to sit and pray, we can. Because there is a garden area that we can sit in. One of the places we can visit when we go to Da Lat.

I visited on Easter Sunday and saw a big mass happening and it was really special to witness. I heard this is one of the oldest and most iconic cathedrals in Da Lat, and it definitely has a historical charm. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a lovely place to stop by, whether you’re religious or just love beautiful buildings. Worth a visit!

I visited Con Ga Church on Sunday afternoon, and it was quite crowded as a service was taking place. Despite the number of people, the atmosphere remained peaceful and solemn, creating a serene experience in the heart of the city. The church's Gothic architecture is impressive, with its tall bell tower and beautiful stained-glass windows. The spacious courtyard also offers a nice view of Da Lat. Looks wonderful and very well maintained by the authorities. Situated very near to city centre and can be viewed and visited by walk from market place easily. Construction was done more than 50 years back and has withstood the condition well.

The Bún bò Huế here is quite good. The broth is not the best we have had but it’s worth visiting. The soup offers a hearty portion with a lot of meat. The restaurant is clean and the servers were attentive.

TlDr, watch out, the side dishes are not included in the price. The food was very fatty and very heavy on the meat, but tasted quite good (Picture normal Beef Pho, but with halve of the vegetables, but three times the meat). I would not recommend going for breakfast here, but maybe dinner. The dish itself was priced alright, however, the side dishes served with the dish are not included in the price, they do not tell you this so watch out!

Definitely the best street-food style restaurant there is. The bun bo is very authentic, flavour-rich and delicate at the same time. If you want to spice it up, there are free chilli paste & shrimp sauce too. Add-on vegetable are clean and perfectly cut to size. Their drinks are super awesome too. Not only they taste like heaven, they put it in beer-like can with ice inside. You can carry your drinks with you after the meal. The restaurant seems newly renovated with spacious seating, high ceiling and reasonably clean for a street-food style restaurant. All that and they manage to keep price so low, compared to anywhere in Vietnam and super duper cheap compared to Western junk foods.

It's quite a spacious restaurant which is suitable for group tour. It should be very busy in peak hours. They have a dish called 'Hue beef noodle in hot stone bowl', which actually is a super big size Hue beef noodle served in a super big bowl - not a hot stone one. Don't order this if you are not a big eater.

Some of the worst and most boring bun bo I and my partner have had. While there was a lot of meat, it was pretty tasteless and the soup was little better than lightly seasoned hot water. It was insanely expensive for the small bowls - 60k. Yogurt was 20k and not worth it. The only reason it gets any stars is because service was good and the soup was hot.

What potentially could have been a great place for a 1-2 hours walk and wonder turned as a filthy river that apparently gets all the sewer from around, so a lot of rubbish, empty bottles and tons of nasty white foam. The gardens around seem to be handled properly when it comes to gardening and shaping of bushes and trees but you can also see lots of trash all over the place. We came on a Saturday afraid it would be packed but were the only visitors (we can only assume others were aware of the how bad it is...). Left after 10 mins and 120k spent for nothing...(tickets are 40k adult and 20k kids). Important to mention that the Google Maps location leads to the old gate so had to walk down 50 meters to the new gate.

It was the worst waterfall I have ever been to. It's super stinky, there is trash everywhere and the people who supposedly "clean" the place just blow the trash further down the river. The water is disgusting, it seems more like a sewage than anything else. I can't believe they charge an entrance fee for this. Do not go there.

It’s very sad to see the pollution here. The facilities were likely once quite beautiful, now they are very run down. You will see a poor old horse tied up closely to a rail next to the smelly polluted waters and your heart will break. In the photos they don’t look so bad but you will see trash in the waters and the smell is instant. It’s a short scooter ride from town but truly not worth it. From the moment we walked in our hearts sank at the conditions.

Not sure if these foams are formed naturally or is an indicator for water pollution. Ticket costs 40,000 VND per person and have nothing to see inside this attraction. Very smelly as it could be the downstream of the river and nearby neighborhoods. Not recommended for tourists

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with views of the Elephant Waterfall. Walking among the coffee trees was peaceful and scenic. The tour was informative — we learned about Arabica vs. Robusta, the coffee belt, and even picked and tasted beans. The guide spoke great English and was full of enthusiasm. The plantation mainly grows Robusta and makes excellent coffee. Staff were friendly and professional. It’s a bit pricey for the 3 hours tour (750k per person), but worth it — one of the best coffee plantation experiences in the area.

Super lovely place with a beautiful garden. The coffee tour was super interesting, and Minh did a fantastic job walking us through the process of growing, harvesting and brewing coffee. Very worth it considering the ticket includes tour, tasting, food and coffee! Beautiful views of the valley and waterfall.

Really beautiful in the early morning. We went around 5.00am and at 6.00am the mist covered everything. You can park the bike at the small cafe on the corner at the base of the hill. The hill up is really steep. You can come back down an easier way, about 5 minutes walk up the road from the cafe.

I wasn’t really lucky with the weather and couldn’t see any clouds but it was still an amazing experience How to get there: I was a bit lost since I arrive early in the dark (for sunrise) So here are the coordinates of the hiking trail Entrance: 11° 59' 38.391" N, 108° 25' 40.9076" E Peak: 11° 59' 41.4276" N, 108° 25' 42.0881" E From there you can walk 3 directions depending on what view you want. The walk is really short (just a few mins)

View is great but we went there waiting for the sunset however there was no visible sunset… Abit disappointed but we still had the hill to ourselves and the view was pretty awesome too! You can have a small picnic here too :)

Not too difficult to reach. The view is really nice, you can go there for camping and enjoying the sunrise & sunset. I also saw rubbish there, maybe there was someone coming and leave there. So, remember to take rubbish with you after coming to the hill for a cleaner view :D

We came for the sunset and waited there for a while it was a really nice atmosphere!! A tiny hike up the hill but we did the rest by motorbike 🏍️. Our sunset view was ruined by clouds but it was still amazing!

As much as I traveled, i realized that it was not just the place makes me fall in love, it is the people from there that makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. They are so hospitably, caring, and genuine that ny heart was melted when being here. Dalat is not somewhere that you would instantly love, it is the place whose vibes would sink into your soul gradually, and after that you have no idea why Dalat is always in your mind. The time being here was chilling in the way I’d never had before, it was so slow yet so rapid that makes me nostalgic for days. The foods here are so fine but I was so busy eating every things that I forgot to take photos of fhem. Sorry. This place has a lot of potential. Nice photo spots and places where you can relax. The place needs a lot of maintenance though, if they do that it would be a really cool place.

Pretty cute, but not much fun to explore. Only for young people to check in. The entrance fee is 100k / person including 30k food vouchers. Generally speaking, but not very attractive. No need to ride in a zip cart, you can walk because it is very close.
