La Luck is a lively spot that offers brasserie-style dining and artisan beers, with the added bonus of outdoor seating and a board game library. The establishment serves as both a game bar/restaurant and a playful brewery, providing an ideal setting for a fun evening with friends. Guests can seek guidance from a game master who will recommend board games based on their preferences from the extensive library of over 1000 titles.
This is my new favorite restaurant in Lille! My partner and I moved here recently and are learning French. We had brunch here, and our server explained a game to us and showed us how to play in French, going back and forth to English if we seemed confused and repeating in French. He was so patient and nice! Even though we are beginners in our French lessons and barely able to communicate, we were able to play the game, learn French while doing so, and we had a great time. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff is the best we have met in Lille so far. Since we have moved here, we will be bringing all of our family members and friends when they visit. Thank you for a fabulous day and birthday brunch!

What an amazing place! You'd fall in love with the concept if you are a massive board game fan. We were left in awe by their collection of games and also the kindness of the staff. Must try if you visit Lille. Edit after 2 years: Came in again after 2 years but this time for longer time. Nothing much has changed in terms of vibes but the food is expensive and not qualitative. You can get a lot better food for the same price outside.
Shasank S — Google review
Friendly staff and good food. There’s a huge selection of board games, and it costs only 5€ per person. Also, no need to worry about the instructions, there’s people in charge of explaining the game rules to each table. It gets packed in the weekend so it’s recommendable to make a reservation on their website. On top of that, it would be nice to have some of the food from the brunch menu for dinner.
Kirstin — Google review
Amazing concept of board games and bars. We spent 4 hours playing many games. The sommeliers of games, advise you , and help you to choose amongst 2000 games!
Fabien C — Google review
Loved the North American feel. The brunch was fantastic and the people there too.
Anna P — Google review
Great place for Brunch, I had the pancake tower, which was plentiful and tasty, the peanut smoothie to go with it was unusual in a good way. The place itself is large and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't get the chance to stay for a game or two, but will definitely be back!
Craig P — Google review
Has the potential to be an amazing bar but unfortunately the service was far below average. We were told we weren’t allowed to play our own card games because they offer games to play - they wanted to charge us €5pp to play our own game… staff came across very rude and unfriendly. Disappointing as looked really good from reviews!

La Clairière is a charming and elegant café located on Boulevard de la Liberté in Lille. It offers a completely homemade vegan cuisine made from local, organic, and seasonal ingredients. The menu guarantees 100% vegan dishes, including inventive plant-based options like pink burger, avocado toast, veggie bowl, and vegetable crumble. On Sundays, guests can indulge in a healthy and complete brunch featuring a drink, savory dish, and sweet treat.
Great food, service, and ambience. Menu changes weekly (which is great). Lovely dogs in the premises which give the place a great homey feel. Perhaps an a/c would be good indoors. The city is too hot and humid.
Angelos B — Google review
Very difficult to find good vegan places in France compared to other European counties so this was a gem. Delicious penne and dessert was good, completely vegan. Service was a bit slow but it was busy.
MB B — Google review
I love love lovvvvvveeee they adopted street dogs that now are in the restaurant. And one pup is for adoption! The dogs don’t bother you whilst you’re eating. The gazpacho is super tasty. Slightly sweet, a bit of heat and very filling. My friends and I also had the sampler which we didn’t realise included the gazpacho too. Whilst the “hummus” amount was substantial, it wasn’t as tasteful as the “falafel” fritters. With a vegan aioli it was delicious!!
Jennifer S — Google review
I loved the place! Food is absolutely delicious, especially the desserts! If you are guilty as charged when it comes sweets, this is the place for you! Staff was very nice and extremely polite. The ambiance was cosy and friendly. Of course, the beautiful dogs chilling around made it even better! Big, fat 5 stars from me. I will definitely come back. Keep up the good work! 🌱
Andreea-Anca S — Google review
We were four people to dine there, and it was an amazing experience. We had a sweet potato soup for starter, and it could have been slighly more seasoned, but still very tasty. For main we had a typical French dish and a burger. The burger is one of the best burgers I've had in a very, very long time, and the parmentier was tasty as well, having a nice touch of thyme. The chocolate mousse for dessert was delicious and airy. They had extremely high-level local beer there, which I have been missing at vegan and vegetarian restaurants (not to talk about many restaurants like that not having alcohol at all). It was probably the best beer I've ever had at a vegan place. Marvellous! They did not have decaf, but they had something that was not coffee, that was without caffeine and tasted surprisingly similar, but I don't remember the name. The staff is incredibly friendly, smiling and welcoming. The place was packed, so they were very busy, but they still had time to take care of us and answer our questions. Last but not least, they have three dogs walking around inside, and they're just the cutest! This place is a must if you're in Lille!!

Tea house
Brunch restaurant
Coffee shop
Sweet Flamingo is a cozy and colorful cafe located near Place de la Republique. The cafe offers a variety of bagels, curries, salads, cakes, and a wide selection of teas. On weekends, visitors can enjoy a delightful brunch featuring pancakes or French toasts with a choice of savory dish, hot or cold beverage, and dessert that can also be taken away. The decor is inspired by English and American styles with pastel colors creating a nostalgic and photogenic setting.
As with all my trips, I try to find specialty coffee shops or cute cafes with good coffee, and this one in Lille has it all. Good service, excellent location, delicious pumpkin spice coffee and the pancakes are a 10. Without a doubt, a place to return to.
Ellegancia S — Google review
I had a great afternoon time here. Very comfy, chill and cute cafe shop! I love the interior and furnitures inside, they put a lot of efforts on the decoration. very cute table cloth and fun color of tableware. I barely speak French, the staff here is very warm and sweet so that I have no difficulty ordering food. The set of a sandwich, a dessert and a drink costs 15,50 euros which I think is very reasonable here. And don’t miss the restroom! Clean and cute decoration. I recommend this cozy shop for people who want to work or read outside. Enjoy your own time in a lovely cafe place
Tiffany T — Google review
An excellent brunch! The salmon on the avocado toast was the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had. The price-quality ratio is outstanding—it’s worth every penny. Be sure to book in advance, as they are (deservedly) very popular!

Very pleasant place, good cakes, smiling and very friendly staff, nicely designed, cozy cafe

Fine, fine teas and very good bakery items in a casual and warm environment. Exceptional staff and service with attention to the enjoyment of their unique tea blends. Perfect for parties of two on up to family-sized groups. One of the most relaxing experiences in Lille. Bonus: they have decent wifi to share.
Chuck N — Google review
Great tasting, fresh food. We enjoyed good lunches and a relaxed Sunday brunch (book for the brunch). And charming, attentive staff.
Guy S — Google review
Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and spacious room. I ordered a red velvet cake, which was delicious! But the pumpkin spice latte was a bit disappointing. The bottom of the mug was all the syrup of a taste I did not enjoy. Overall, it’s a good place to chat with friends. I see people bringing laptops to discuss with their colleagues. But I don’t think it’s a cafe for work or studying. A bit noisy for people talking.
徐瑞智 — Google review
Brunch experience was absolutely lovely. Do make sure you reserve in advance because I think it's popular and gets filled up very fast on the weekends. Good variety of choices and you can taste the quality of the produce in their items! I especially appreciated the fresh pressed juices and the ice coffee was very clean tasting. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a good place to hang out with friends for brunch or even just for regular teatime.

Emilie and the cool kids is a laid-back brunch spot in Lille, known for its warm atmosphere and exposed-brick walls. The cafe offers a variety of treats including bagels, cookies, pastries, and American-style cakes. The menu features an extensive selection of cookies such as Kinder, peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate, and M&Ms.
Wow, what an amazing little cafe, the Chicken BLT with the spicy cheese bagel was INCREDIBLE. I’m on my 2nd coffee, a nutellacino with chantilly cream bundled with the peanut butter chocolate cookie. Winner winner winner! The staff here are awesome, we are a group a 10 with 4 kids and they were super accommodating. Extremely impressed. Thank you ladies. I will be back
Shalin S — Google review
Very nice to find some vegan options. No specific savory vegan bagels, but vegetarian ones to veganize removing cheese. Had a bagel with avocado, sweet mustard, crispy onions and red pesto. They have juices and also oat/soy milk for coffees. Three or four sweets as well. Very nice staff!
Jessica B — Google review
Service here was incredible. I loved my milkshake and I loved how friendly the staff were. It was presented so nicely and made a great start to our holiday on Friday. They have more seating upstairs but I was worried I would drop everything so I sat outside with my partner
Catrina M — Google review
Very tasty, but a bit pricey. If you're lactose intolerant be aware that the beigels are essentially brioches.

Cozy place for hanging out with friends. Brunch options are very rich! The staff there are very friendly:) will try second time, recommend👏🏻

Such a cute and trendy cafe! The pancakes were delicious and came so quick!! It is quite small so you may struggle to get a table without reservation but it’s definitely worth a shot!

B&B Hotel Lille Centre Grand Palais is a relaxed accommodation option with simple rooms and free Wi-Fi. It's conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from the Lille Grand Palais Metro station, offering soundproofed rooms with complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi, private bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. The hotel provides a daily breakfast buffet and features a 24-hour reception.
We arrived at the hotel at 9/4/25 at 2 AM (!!) without reservation. I can not say many things about the hotel -room not very big but clean and tidy- BUT I can say A LOT for the guy in the reception! What a gem! Friendly and very helpful! Cudos to the management for the excellent choice of people !
C T — Google review
Stopped off here for the night en route for a family holiday. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming and helpful. Car parking is convenient- you receive a code on check in- it may have been more convened to get this in advance rather than having to park on the street and check in first but this is a minor gripe. Hotel was easy to find, room was comfortable and had all we needed. Very happy with our stay.
James H — Google review
Terrible noise coming off the nearby highway, rooms are tiny, so one’s confined to do everything while sitting on a bed. No kettle, no mini-fridge in the room, with two paper cups provided, one in a room and another one in a bathroom, so when you put your toothbrush in it tips to the sink as flimsy cup can’t support any weight. The floors are covered with linoleum mats, so it’s got a hospital vibe. On the final day of my stay there was no hot water in the shower so I was moved to another room so I could finish showering in there. The most hilarious thing in all that is that we paid €200 a night, I wouldn’t mind it if it was €70, but I suppose you could expect higher quality for that price. Breakfasts were ok, although trying to fry an egg on the electrical Tefal stove takes ages. The only aspect that was really good were the staff, friendly, apologetic and quick to offer help, I personally feel that they really try to make everyone feel welcomed and make their stays better in that below average place. I definitely won’t be coming back, but wish I could have a similar attentive attitude from hotel staff in other places that I stay at.
Paul J — Google review
Perfect Hotel for a short stay in the nice City of Lille! Its close enough to walk to the City or take the Metro. The communication with the Hotel was easy and welcoming.

Nestled in the heart of Lille, Mama Shelter Lille offers chic and vibrant accommodations with a stylish restaurant and bar boasting city views. Lille is a captivating blend of old-world charm, commercial vitality, and cultural richness. The city's elegant boulevards showcase a fusion of Flemish and French influences, creating an atmosphere that is both relaxed and sophisticated.
Stayed here a few weeks ago. Absolutely phenomenal experience. We went for an option with breakfast included, which was not only fairly priced, but the breakfast was delicious and varied. Staff were incredibly flexible, kind, and helpful. The lady on the phone allowed us to rebook our stay without extra charges due to an unexpected situation on our end. She didn't have to do this, but it was really appreciated and contributed to our stay. A truly stellar human being! Rooms were clean and well equipped, with good TV entertainment options. Location was great with quick access to transport, the old town, and some nice food and drink options. Bar was pretty good, with varied cocktail options. Made for a nice place to spend the evening. If I had one criticism, it was that the beer selection at the bar was not very wide and too expensive for what was offered. Would have loved to have some local beer - which I was very happy to discover in the city itself. Thanks to our experience, we will be booking with Mama Shelter again.
Adam J — Google review
We had a nice stay here. They have secure parking, you can't book ahead but there was plenty of space when we arrived. Dog friendly and they don't charge extra for dogs, that said the room rate for our night was quite a lot. The hotel is ideally located on the edge of the town, it's a very short walk to the cobbled streets and squares. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. We ate dinner at the hotel, there was only one vegan option for main but it was delicious and a generous serving, it was a layered vegetable compote. I would stay here again.

it is a great hotel with a very unique and trendy decoration style! Has great quality of breakfast and the restaurant is also super good! the location is 5 minutes from the center! Parking unfortunately is not free and an overnight stay costs 35 euros even for a resident... so keep that in mind
Aris K — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.5/5) Mama Shelter Lille is a vibrant and lively hotel that really captures the fun, playful spirit the brand is known for. The XXL room we stayed in was impressively spacious — stylishly designed with modern touches, cozy bedding, and plenty of room to relax. The location is another huge plus, perfectly situated near the train station and the city center, making it easy to explore Lille on foot. The breakfast was also a highlight — fresh, plentiful, and full of variety, from pastries and fruit to hot dishes and great coffee. However, while the overall atmosphere was enjoyable, a few key issues made the stay less comfortable than it could have been. When the room experienced a blackout and power trip, the recovery process was disappointingly slow. It took quite some time before the issue was addressed, largely because there didn’t seem to be any technical staff on-site to handle it promptly. This was frustrating, especially given the level of service one would expect from a well-known hotel brand. The air conditioning was another letdown. It barely seemed to work, leaving the room uncomfortably warm and stuffy, particularly during the night. Even with the windows open, there wasn’t enough ventilation to cool the space down properly, which made sleeping difficult. Overall, Mama Shelter Lille has the potential to be an excellent stay — the design is modern and fun, the food is great, and the location couldn’t be better. But the lack of technical support and weak air conditioning really affected the comfort level. With a bit more attention to maintenance and faster problem-solving, it could easily go from good to great. As it stands, it’s a stylish and convenient hotel with charm — but one that still needs a bit more substance behind the style
Rodney L — Google review
Close to the train station and old town. Rooms were large. Would prefer if they had refillable amenities. Deco was ok and room was in good shape overall and not worn and torn. Not luxury, but worked well for a few nights of affordable accomodation. Everyone working at the hotel was super nice, so this property has a great team of people!
Brad J — Google review
Easy 10-15 walk from Lille train station. Great location and facilities. All staff very good. Comfortable room, great breakfast
Glen H — Google review
I’ll start with the pros. Unbeatable location. Close to the train station and old town. You can wheel your luggages there without breaking a sweat. The concept of the place is fun and hip. Very Gen Z. Super fun to experience their branding. Staff are friendly and helpful! Here come the cons that I wished I didn’t experience. 1) the ac is HARDLY cold. Or even cool. Made sleeping really hard because it’s cooler outside than being in your own room. Changed room once and experienced the same issue 2) lots of mosquitoes 🥲 I was bitten senseless both nights I was there. Sleeping was badly interrupted. Also because my room was so warm, the mossies feasted on me like a buffet. I wished they provided products that help with mossies because why is this a customer’s problem? Mosquito repellent should be provided 3) shower is has weak pressure. If you’re fussy about this, you’re not going to enjoy your showers. Period. This is a decent stay if you’re on a slight budget and is not fussed about the above mentioned.

Bacio Divino is a charming Italian spot in Lille, offering a menu inspired by Sicilian and Tuscan flavors. The delightful burrata appetizer sets the tone for a mouthwatering experience. Their signature dishes like risotto with scallops and truffle evoke the essence of Florence.
After renovation interior is very pleasant! We tried buratta di buffalo, carpaccio Genovese and lasagna salmone. All recommended, but my personal favorite is carpaccio. Recommended

Service was really slow, 10 min to get the menu, 40 min just to order. Waitress didn't know how to serve red wine properly. Food was really good, was just expecting better service.

Excellent Italian restaurant ! Very romantic Perfect service Wine advices Excellent taste One of my favorite Italian restaurant 😍😍
AlissaN. — Google review
Edit: The management should spend as much time on serving her clients as she does on responding to Google reviews. I live locally to this place and the service is terrible!! The chef is not bad, so the food was worth returning for. We came back, we were seated and then ignored for 20 minutes. We asked multiple people working if we could place our order. Everyone said only the blonde woman at the bar could do that so we needed to wait for her. We waited and waited. When she finally came we expressed that we had waited a long time for her to come. Instead of apologizing she became very defensive that we weren’t the only people in the place and everyone had to wait. At that point we told her we were going to leave and she was very huffy about it all. Next time, just own up to your mistakes Madame. It’s better for everyone and makes you look less condescending and rude.
Rebecca G — Google review
Great restaurant! The price is totally justified by the quality of the products, the presentation of the dishes and the quantity! I regret Two things: -industrial bread, which denotes with other products -too little space between tables, unfavorable to privacy
Fabien B — Google review
An utterly weak representation of Italian cuisine. To begin, the starter was a poor attempt at a Fritto Misto, instead of a light fluffy batter - the chef used a combination of bread crumbs and a heavy batter. The vegetables them self were not sliced thinly, but chopped in cubes instead. The main course would have been fine, had the sauce been mixed through the linguine, but instead I was confronted with a clump of plain linguine stuck together - not appetising at all! Both myself and my dinner companion left more than half of our main courses - the front of house to explained that this was because their cuisine was simply 'not to our tastes'. Next time, I'll stick to what I know to be great Italian food in Lille: La Bottega (8 bis Rue de Pétérinck) and La Tramontana ( 33 Rue d'Isly).

Le Pain Quotidien is a charming cafe located in one of Lille's beautiful city squares. They offer a menu with items prepared in-house, including breads, preserves, and desserts. The cafe emphasizes organic fruits and vegetables as well as locally sourced products. While it may seem like a bakery, Le Pain Quotidien also serves excellent breakfast options and opens early in the morning to accommodate guests. Visitors can expect friendly service and delicious food, such as the highly recommended mini pancakes.
We loved our breakfast here. We were looking for something healthy, with vegan options and hit gold with this spot. The coffee was also nice - came in very large mugs but that was appreciated! It felt like a calm way to start the day and overall a great experience.
Rosanne K — Google review
I visited Le Pain Quotidien recently, the café has a lovely, cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and comfortable seating — a great place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was quick and friendly, which definitely added to the positive vibe. That said, the food itself was visually appealing but quite average in taste. I tried the pancakes with yogurt and berry sauce, French toast with fresh fruit, and a simple breakfast plate with egg, bread, and butter — everything looked great on the plate, but flavor-wise, nothing stood out. It felt a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. The coffee and strawberry shake were decent, but again, nothing particularly memorable. If you’re going mainly for ambiance and a relaxed setting, it’s a nice spot. But if you’re looking for a food experience that’s flavorful or unique, you might find it a bit underwhelming. Overall, a pleasant place for a casual brunch, but more for the vibe and service than the food itself.

Le Pain Quotidien is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. My first experience was in Manhattan, so naturally I look for one every time I am in a new city. Luckily, Lille accommodated - perfect little spot and relaxed, slow service - exactly what you’d expect on vacation. For travelers learning French, the staff were very kind as I tried to order in French and felt comfortable asking for help with words I didn’t know.

I usually just pass through Lille on my travels, but this time we spent the night—and I’m so glad we did. In the morning, I was really craving that cozy, classic French “croissant and coffee” moment. I started walking through the city centre and stumbled upon this charming little spot. The pastries in the window looked so beautiful, I couldn’t help but walk in. I'm Polish, I don’t speak French (though I’ve tried—unsuccessfully!), but I was greeted by Frida, who spoke the most lovely English. She was incredibly kind and patient, and her warmth instantly put me at ease. It truly meant so much. I had a lot of anxiety about visiting France, but places like this made me feel genuinely welcome and safe—like I belonged. Frida gently let me know there was a small extra charge to sit in and made sure I was comfortable with that, which I really appreciated. I said yes and ordered an oat milk latte and a hibiscus croissant. She even gave me a little milk chocolate on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious—made with care, and you could feel it. Thank you again for such a warm welcome. Your kindness touched my heart and will stay with me for a long, long time.
RawJola — Google review
We chose this place because it has clearly labelled vegan items on the menu. We were hoping for croissants but they were all out (we visited around 3:30pm). I ordered soup of the day and despite constantly checking with the staff that everything ordered was vegan, soup was served with dairy butter on the side, which was not reassuring. Furthermore, I expected the soup to be served with fresh sourdough bread and/or baguette, as the menu indicates. Instead, it came with a large handful of ‘homemade croutons’ which were unseasoned dry bread and tasted very stale. The serving staff were very friendly and patient but we were disappointed by the unclean tables and menu cards.
Mateja P — Google review
I ordered a salmon and tuna salad to take away. It was €15. It literally had €3 worth of ingredients (more like a cold side salad), and I waited for over 10 minutes. Very very disappointed. I won’t be coming back. The lady who served me was nice though.
Natasha W — Google review
It's very quiet today but the service is really bad. Was seated at a messy table. My friend is vegan and the server didn't know if any of the soups were vegan or not. I order the miso salmon and the bowl came without the salmon. And the toilets are very dirty and one of the doors don't lock properly. With the price your paying for mediocre food I feel you have at least good service.
Suleman — Google review
Food was a disaster; eggs from powder, dry and COLD. Even though the butter was mentioned as a part of a breakfast set, I needed to ask for bringing it. The bread was dry and in the set they are not giving even the smallest leaf of salad. The avocado in the set of my friend was mostly unripe hence half of it uneatable. When I complained about the eggs, the writer seemed a bit irritated with me. I ate here 2 years before and was much better, now I will be eating next door where prices are the same, but food much better quality.

Stepping into Pubstore in Lille feels like a warm embrace, thanks to the charming manager Anthony who greets every guest with genuine hospitality. This beloved establishment has been a local favorite since 1969, serving as a vibrant meeting spot for friends and families alike. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere with its colorful walls and modern decor that create an uplifting dining experience. The menu at Pubstore is diverse, offering à la carte options for lunch and dinner while featuring a delightful prix fixe brunch on weekends.
Not only best service I have ever received at a restaurant in France, but best service I've received in a restaurant ever (worldwide). Anthony is kind, welcoming, funny and friendly and made me feel at home as a new foreigner living in Lille. The food was delicious, rich, filling and I am looking forward to discovering the menu as I most definitely will be back. Thanks for a wonderful meal and experience!

Slightly out of the city centre but really really worth the visit! Great music and decor, and the food was absolutely stunning and locally sourced. What a restaurant! Anthony is warm, welcoming, and passionate about the food and wine. I highly recommend Pubstore to anyone looking for a great meal in Lille. On Anthony's recommendation, I had a beautiful lunch of smoked salmon with pancakes and eggs. Wally's Coffee, located on Rue du Molinel in Lille, France, is a popular spot for both social media enthusiasts and food lovers. The cafe is known for its unique freakshake and offers a bright and spacious interior with lounge areas, making it an ideal place to unwind or get some work done. Whether you're looking for a refreshing break or a productive work session, Wally's Coffee provides a welcoming atmosphere and delicious menu options.
I have a soft spot for interesting repurposed locations and Wally’s has it! it looks like it used to be some kind of factory turned to restaurant while keeping the original infrastructure. The men’s had some options and the staff was very patient with us while the few phases I learned in French came out in German while under pressure. The food was delicious and I had the best milkshake ever here. I was pleased to hear the mix of languages coming from the kitchen and was eventually able to communicate with some of the staff in Spanish. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The decoration is nice, the menu is online which makes translation easier.

Such a cool place. It combines a thrift shop, coffee spot, and lunch café all in one charming warehouse. Every day they serve a different local dish, or you can choose from pancakes or bread with avocado.

Wally's Coffee in Lille is a cozy and modern brunch spot. We tried the bacon and eggs toast, and the pancake with smoked salmon. Both were very tasty. The bacon and eggs toast had great flavors, and the smoked salmon pancake was fresh and satisfying. We also had a "crazy shake" with carrot cake on top. The shake was delicious, with a creamy base and a moist carrot cake slice. It's a must-try for anyone who loves sweet treats. The place is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The ordering system is easy and quick, using QR codes to access the menu and place orders. This modern approach makes the dining experience smooth and efficient. Overall, Wally's Coffee is a great choice for delicious brunch options and unique drinks.

Best Brunch location I ever visited, artistic, unique and a very wide at thesame time well organized menu. I so loved the Banana Cake plus the pancakes 🥞. Infact I believe all they serve is great and will definitely recommend to anyone. It’s not an open buffet but it’s ideal for a calm Sunday afternoon brunch.

We were seated outside because "there were no seats inside". The food came out cold. It's also very expensive for what it is, almost 20 euros for a slice of bread with eggs. That said, if we were seated inside we probably would have had a better experience...

Always a nice place to have brunch with friends. The prices are not the cheapest but the quality and portions do compensate it. I’ve been here for brunch twice in the last 2 years and I can say they have consistency in the quality of the food. If there weren’t so many places I needed to try I’ll go back more often.

Very cool place for a breakfast/brunch, coffee and cakes! 🥪 We had a toast with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, onion and bacon. It was pretty nice and big. 🍰 Red velvet cake and brownie with hazelnut were both amazing. Texture was as it's supposed to be and the tast was on point. ☕️ Coffee was the only thing we did not like here. It was too bitter and with no specific taste. 🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️ Waiters team was amazing. They were all delightful and made the atmosphere so nice. We had few of them serving our tables (taking order, serving coffee, serving food) and they were all super nice! 🏠 Place on it's own looks cool and has few levels with a lot of places to sit. 💲💳 What I found the most useful is the fact that you can pay through the qr code of your table. There is no need to call the service or wait, you just pay and say it at the exit so they can check and that's it.

Place was good. I was aksed if I had a reservation while I didn't. But it had no problem and I got a table. Food was good, kinda of a already ready menu. It was giving quickly. Coffee was good too. Inside design was so cool, stairs up, to place with natural lights. There is a shop aslo.

Nestled in the heart of Lille, France, Coffee Makers is a cozy café that offers an array of brunch dishes and delectable pastries alongside a selection of espresso, filter, and cold-brewed coffee. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, this compact cafe has garnered a reputation for serving some of the best coffee in the area. The owners, hailing from different parts of Europe, have successfully infused the ambiance with a taste of east London.
The staff were very nice. The croque madame was extremely delicious — the brioche was soft and crispy, and the saltiness of the ham combined with the sourness from the pickles, the richness of the cheese, and the crispy fried egg was amazing. We also tried the blood orange cake, which was also amazing. Definitely worth visiting!

I love the atmosphere of this place! Dog friendly! But be prepared that it is not very healthy food, only for people who like pastries for breakfast. I had granola with fruits and honey. It was delicious, also liked the presentation.

It was my first visit to France, and we discovered this cafe online. It had excellent reviews and offered "gluten-free options," which was exactly what my friend needed. The coffee was amazing; we had lattes and an extra treat ;) The barista brought us a sample of a new blend they source from Costa Rica. I really enjoyed the atmosphere; the music was great, and so were the treats! The highlight of the experience was the service from the two baristas. They were friendly and kind, and helped me perfect my French. It was horrible, but okay. ;)

Paddo Café is a cozy breakfast and brunch spot located in the heart of Vieux-Lille, offering a fresh and generous Australian-inspired menu. The café opens daily from 8 am to 4 pm, focusing mainly on breakfast items such as ricotta pancakes, winter granola, bacon and eggs. Their coffee selection includes various options like Latte, Cappuccino, and Flat White.
Paddo Café is a charming little spot that instantly makes you feel at home. I stopped by for a coffee and was genuinely impressed, not only was it beautifully presented with latte art, but it also had a smooth, rich flavor with just the right touch of cocoa on top. The wooden interiors and relaxed atmosphere give it that warm, rustic feel — perfect for a quiet coffee break or catching up with a friend. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and looking for a great cup of coffee in a chill setting, Paddo Café is definitely worth a visit.

It is a nice place to have breakfast. The scrambled egg was great! Also very good coffee. The menu options are not many, but they are very good and professionally made and presented. The service is friendly and nice. After they bring the food, they don’t ask whether you want sth else or you want to pay. We had to chase them, and eventually went inside to pay. If that is how it is supposed to be, it would be helpful if they communicated it.

We enjoyed the food and the portions were big, in the end, we couldn’t finish everything. It was very cold in the morning so we had to sit inside, it wasn’t very comfortable with the wooden floor. You can feel it when someone walks on it and it wasn’t very pleasant. We also think it was a quite pricy.

Very nice place. simple and affable. this is a typical salad bar. you choose the basis and other ingredients, fill with sauces and "bon appetite". average salad - 6 €, large portion for 10 €. Great location just along from the main square, but nice and quiet so we didn't feel rushed. (Translated by Google) The setting is rather pretty in the entrance and at the beginning of the restaurant. A little less of a fan of the decor in the second part at the bottom. Service neither excellent nor bad. A little long wait when there are 3 tables in the whole room, but it's still reasonable. On the other hand, the vegetables were served a little cold and the cooking varied (one part very good and the other not cooked enough). Serving a bottle of 2014 instead of 2012 on the menu is very limiting (especially in this sense). The rabbit, however, was very good. A little more chestnut preparation would be appreciated. Very good dessert, very chocolatey, not too sweet. Price for two (€53) a little too high compared to the overall service.

Irresponsible advertisement. We went off the highway to visit the place on a Monday at 14:30. They currently advertise a closing time at 15:00 on the internet and 15:30 at the front door. The waiter told us to go away and that the place is closed, because they have not enough clients at 14:30. However, we saw more than 5 persons were still sitting inside. We lost about 40 minutes to get off the highway and paid for parking already. Recommendation: Call them first before your intended visit to get a confirmation for the latest time they accept customers to enter. Two very disappointed potential customers.

(Translated by Google) The dishes are excellent and quite varied for a brasserie! They even make woks. The room is very pleasant and the terrace set up on the sidewalk is quite pleasant, the parasols are very large so you can get some shade in the bright sun, the neighborhood is nice. You can taste good beers like Raoul which is excellent. The daily special is very reasonably priced and the plates are well stocked (see photo). In addition we feel the safety aspect is taken seriously (the servers have masks, hydro gel available..) happy hour at 4 p.m.!!

Made’s Garden is a must-visit spot in Lille for those looking to have a great time with friends. During the day, it offers a restaurant experience with delicious food made from fresh vegetables. In the evening, the atmosphere transforms into a lively party scene with open-air "aperomixes" featuring house DJ sets and afterwork events. The cozy terrace and friendly service add to the overall appeal of this modern establishment.
Food is super tasty, fresh vegetables, nice dishes!

I’m currently at this restaurant. Ordered an hour ago. People have come and received their order that arrived after us. Such poor management. Don’t bother wasting your time, there are plenty of other restaurants in Lille that sell Moules.

I will definitely go back there and I sincerely recommend it. The waiting time for the dishes is at least 40 minutes, so you have to be patient, but it's really worth it! Nice and helpful staff. Au Moulin d'Or is conveniently located in the heart of Old Lille, occupying a former lingerie store and now classified as a historical landmark. This renowned restaurant gained fame after being featured in the record-breaking French film, "Bienvenue Chez les Chtis." Recently renovated to an exceptional standard, Au Moulin d'Or offers delectable homemade dishes that are beautifully presented.

When the person arrives, not only does he not apologize but you even have the impression of being a nuisance. The sandwich shop is dirty and smelly. Besides, the same tray of finished food has been sitting on a table for days... (You can see it in the photo) I do not recommend going to eat there or even to receive a package. Bed & breakfast
La Bourgogne en Ville is a charming bed and breakfast located in Lille, offering traditional rooms with a cozy ambiance. The property features a sauna, steam room, and a lounge area with a fireplace for guests to unwind. Situated close to popular attractions such as Zenith Arena Concert Hall and Pierre Mauroy Stadium, this spa guesthouse also boasts a full-service spa where visitors can indulge in relaxation.
Comfortable & nice room, toilet is simple with a sink and shower inside the room but honest breakfast Lovely host, bear in mind this is not an hotel but a nice guest house I would have rated 4/5 if anywhere else but I have to rate 5/5 considering Lille has typically very expensive price , this is much better than the average and great price/quality ratio Least but not last: private and public parking available I will probably come back

Lovely host, great breakfast and a quirky guest house with some amazing antiques to look at all around the house. The bed was way too soft for our liking but this was our fault as we chose this room, we were shown two. Very clean and my only issue was that the toilet was really high up the wall and I'm short.

(Translated by Google) We had an excellent stay in this guest room! Friendly welcome, very cozy SPA, massage performed by a very kind professional. Breakfast was also good. The only slight downside: in the Voltaire room, which is the largest and with a separate bathroom, there are 2 single beds pushed together (still very comfortable!). We got the explanation and totally understand the reason, but if you want to sleep in a regular double bed, opt for one of the other two rooms.
