Half Shell Oyster House is an upscale-casual Southern seafood restaurant and bar with a cozy ambiance, perfect for any occasion from first dates to anniversary celebrations. With multiple locations across Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, this locally-owned chain offers a menu featuring Southern favorites such as oysters, po' boys, grilled fish, and locally sourced meats.
Perfect Spot for a Celebration! I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his college graduation, and we absolutely loved the vibe! We sat at the bar since they don’t take reservations, and although it was a bit busy, it wasn’t anything too crazy. It was my first time trying oysters — and wow, they were amazing! We both enjoyed our meals, and the quality definitely exceeded our expectations. Our total came to around $100 for the two of us, which honestly surprised me… I expected it to be almost double for what we got.

The food was a 10 out of 10! Patrick was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He gave great recommendations from the menu, answered all of our questions, and kept us engaged. This was our first time dining here but it certainly won't be the last.
Curt S — Google review
We visited for the first time today celebrating my son’s 24th birthday. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She recommended the sampler platter of chargrilled oysters as an appetizer so we could experience all of the variations. Excellent suggestion. We loved them all. My son had the steak and it was cooked perfectly and crabmeat and shrimp topping was delicious. Hubby had the redfish, which was absolutely delicious, just a little small for him. I had the smoked tuna salad and loved it. Cocktails were delicious too. Glad we went. We will be back.
Dapmar M — Google review
GREAT service! The charbroiled oysters are our favorite menu item. 🦪 As generic as they sound, the fries are so good. 🍟 The seasoning is chef's kiss! Honestly, everything was delicious. Make sure to try the banana foster cheesecake! 🍰🤤 The blueberry sangria is also a winner. 🍹Bottom line...just go! You won't regret it.
T R — Google review
My only complaint. Waiter forgot my cup of gumbo or got too busy to bring to thr table. Otherwise, the meal was exceptional. My wife has shellfish, nut and gluten severe allergies and she ate her blackened fish with no issues.
Adam — Google review
Food is good, but the presentation isn't anything to write home about. Very meh presentation wise. Charbroiled oysters are delicious but were ridiculously small. Half shell raw oysters were also small. I get we're not in oyster season but no reason for oysters that small when I can get them double the size at other restaurants still. Seafood portabella was delicious. Drinks are tasty and service was great though. A little loud, so hard to talk if you're in a group bigger than 4.
Amanda C — Google review
Old school vibe when you enter the building. I love cold weather so the temperature inside the building was perfect to me. Staff was attentive, helpful, and happy! I forgot the dish that I've ordered but it had the word Orleans in it. Blacked redfish to perfection accompanied by the shrimp and crab on top! If you're looking for savory, this is it. Definitely coming back again!
Mike T — Google review
Cozy New Orleans-style seafood restaurant. Comfortable for groups or dining alone. There are two bars: downstairs is more social and upstairs is more private. Bartenders are friendly and the drinks are delicious. I had The Frenchman, which is made with spicy rye whiskey, housemade sweet & sour, and blackberry puree. Very refreshing. Generous portion of the smoky shrimp and grits, and the sweet potato creme brulee side is unique. PS If you found this review helpful, please "heart" it. Thank you!

Restaurant
Located on Rue Magnolia in Biloxi, Mississippi, Mary Mahoney's Old French House is a historic and elegant dining establishment that offers a taste of local tradition. The restaurant is housed in a former French home dating back to 1737, adding to its charm and character.
If you're in town, you for sure need to stop in and have lunch or dinner at Mary's. So much old history here. Even if you just stop in and have a drink at the bar, you will tons things to see and learn about Mary's and the area around it. The food is amazing, which I expected it to be. We had the crab claws and shrimp cocktail as an app. And then the Mary's chicken, fried shrimp and crab stuff shrimp and oh man we were all full and happy when done along with the amazing customer service we had every step of the way. We were too full to get dessert, but I'm sure it's good as well. Around th area is some houses turned into businesses that are super nice to walk the court yard and enjoy the atmosphere. I will for sure be back some time.

Simply amazing service and seafood. Everything is made on site and the fish is just so fresh. Truly a hallmark of my visit to Biloxi. Please try the dishes you see in my photos and you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back
Leon S — Google review
We were in town for our honeymoon and everyone told us we needed to try Mary Mahoney’s. Made reservations, got seated immediately, greeted pretty quick. Then it was down hill from there. Ordered the gumbo for appetizers and it was actually really good! While we waited for our salads, three more tables were seated next to us. These new tables ordered their food way after us and got their food way before us. We asked about our food and we were told it was because the cook of one of our steaks. But there is no way 15 people were served before one medium well steak could be cooked. Hate to be this person but we were very very disappointed! Maybe it was a fluke, maybe it never happens but we will not be back. The server only took off half my meal even though my lobster was over cooked and my steak was way under. Unfortunate very disappointing honeymoon dinner. Not the way we wanted to end our vacation.
Amanda S — Google review
Not only a historic location, but also a quaint lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Mary’s is deeply rooted in the rich historic roots of Mississippi. We were blessed to have Lucy as our server. The food was top-notch. All of the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and kind. Definitely a must see if you’re ever in Biloxi Mississippi.!!
Lizzie C — Google review
the exterior is so charming! You are transported to New Orleans by walking through the cute courtyard. The restaurant is an old historic building and I’m so glad they keep it true to the original. The drinks were done perfectly. I finally had a great Manhattan after spending a few days in Biloxi! We ordered the Presidential Platter for $54, which comes with broiled crab claws and fried soft shell crab. Omg - just both perfectly done. The fried crab was so light and the broiled claws were swimming in this delicious Cajun butter. For lunch, we got the Queen Ixolib & gumbo. The gumbo looked very light but it actually tasted amazing. It had a slight kick to it. And the amount of meat they give is so generous! The Queen Ixolib Stuffed Fish was big enough to share. (The pic I posted is of a half serving.) the tomato over angel hair pasta was so good despite looking so simple. I crushed the fresh tomato into the pasta. The fish and stuffing were really good and plenty of meat. For dessert, we ordered the Praline Sundae, which is vanilla bean ice cream with layer of praline caramel sauce. I can’t think of anything more decadent. It was such a perfect way to end our perfect Southern seafood meal. I would absolutely visit here again - it’s a Must!
Kim B — Google review
Walked in at 5:15 on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Got the crab claw app which is one of my favorite appetizers ever Veal entree was well prepared, with a light frying and yummy cheese, but I should have ordered seafood which is their specialty. The side salad was fine, lots of iceberg lettuce and a homemade vinaigrette. Cameryn was an excellent waitress, and the rest of the front house staff was on top of their service. My water glass was never empty

Excellent atmosphere. Perfect accommodations for most size groups. The menu had a good selection with good description. I recommend reservations as I was solo and wasn't easy to sit during the week.

I enjoyed the charbroiled oysters. They were very well seasoned so much I dipped the bread in the delicious sauce. Catch of the day was absolutely amazing.

The Reef is a popular waterfront seafood restaurant in Biloxi, MS, offering stunning coastal views and a delectable menu. With a laid-back atmosphere and outdoor seating, it's perfect for a casual lunch or to catch the sunset. Known for its fresh seafood dishes like Fire Cracker Shrimp and generous portion sizes, it has become a noteworthy culinary destination for both locals and tourists. The full-service bar offers refreshing cocktails, while the dedicated kids' menu makes it an affordable option for families.
We liked the food at The Reef so much that we came twice during our week long trip! The service is fantastic, they were probably the most attentive and quickest of all the restaurants we've tried around Biloxi Beach. The food also came out the fastest as well and is very yummy. I also like their outdoor seating a lot. Modernized and clean, spacious. They have mesh window like things they operate with a remote to lower in case of a storm. Get the crab dip as an appetizer!
Amina — Google review
We had a great time dining at Reef! The view of the beach was beautiful, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing meal. I ordered the Mac Daddy Toni, and it did not disappoint—the mac and cheese was creamy, and the sautéed shrimp were absolutely to die for. The crawfish had just the right amount of kick to balance it all out. My boyfriend got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, and of course I had to steal a bite—it was delicious, though I still say mine was better 😄. The only letdown was that they were out of the Margarita Mahi Bowl, which is what he originally wanted to try. Overall, tasty food, amazing beach views, and a great vibe. We’ll definitely be back!
April M — Google review
This local on the water restaurant is a great spot to experience whether you are from the area or from out of town. The menu is well rounded with choices for any age and portion sizes will not leave you disappointed. The atmosphere is set to be relaxing and casual but there have been many witnessed wedding proposals and all to my knowledge ( said yes). The sky bar margaritas are a definite if you have time to sit back and enjoy it. You can also order them to go and stroll along the boardwalk ( highly recommend) for the sunset views. Come give them a try!
Pamela M — Google review
All the food was freshly prepared. The fried seafood was delicious! Unfortunately, I ordered the grilled Mahi and crab cake that was less desired and wished I’d ordered the fried seafood platter. The Mahi was overcooked and dry and the crab cake was more like a stuffing/dressing that had pieces of crab in it verses being more crab based. I’d never order it again and left regretting I didn’t order the seafood platter instead. They were almost the same price. However, the fiesta corn was amazing and the best thing on the plate. Overall, I’d return and definitely order fried seafood. The fried seafood was a large portion, perfectly seasoned, and freshly prepared.

Service here is outstanding!! From the greeting and seating to the service and delivery 5 ⭐️! Food was delicious and portions are large. Prices are fair and views are fabulous! Outside seating is kept comfortable as shaded. Definitely recommend this spot!!!!

The Reef restaurant in Biloxi MS Gulf Coast has a beautiful porch overlooking the Biloxi Beach, they have Excellent Catfish, Gumbo, Steam Broccoli, Hushpuppies, Wings and the list goes on …. My husband and I are from MS and we love home but we live in Atlanta Ga. When I come home I want Catfish and all the delicious seafood . I had an excellent server Brandi and Sabrina , who were so friendly and sweet!!!! I will be back tomorrow. Sorry for the missing food in my picture , but it was so good I forgot to take a picture when our food arrived. 😀 But you can see the catfish was beautifully fried and seasoned very well

We had a great experience at The Reef! Our Server Lake was the sweetest, very attentive, and great attitude! The fried shrimp was delicious! The view was beautiful! Would definitely go back!
Amy V — Google review
Really nice place on the water with clean bathrooms. Brandi was absolutely fantastic and gave the ultimate southern hospitality that i know and love down here. I could not recommend her enough, she’s the reason I decided to give a review. I got the firecracker shrimp tacos and fried okra. Both were absolutely delicious. The tacos came with two GIGANTIC tacos. So stinkin good!! 10/10 recommend, and I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in town. Also not too crazy expensive which is always great :) Thank you!

Taranto's Crawfish is a casual seafood eatery that offers a variety of Gulf Coast delicacies, with a focus on crawfish. The restaurant has a family-friendly and unpretentious atmosphere, adorned with marine life artwork. Their menu features classic seafood dishes such as crispy shrimp baskets, flavorful catfish, and an array of po' boys including shrimp, ham, and ribeye.
From the moment you walk in you are treated with kindness and warmth. The food is excellent. We had royal reds, shrimp, buffalo shrimp, hush puppies, and a ribeye sandwich. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the fire grilled ribeye was fantastic. Can't really to come back to try crawfish. Great place.
Doug A — Google review
My friends had great things to say about this place. It looks like a small place but there enough room inside for everyone. The servers were nice and not overbearing. I ordered the Thursday special BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was a disappointment. The bun was dry and too toasted on top and it’s dollar store quality made the sandwich small and upsetting. The fries were great and the sauce was very good. My friends got the Crawfish, the catfish Basket, and the fried Shrimp and enjoyed their food. I’d recommended giving this place a shot for sure, and go for the seafood unlike me.
Gabriel S — Google review
We are driving across the country on our way to Florida. It was time for dinner and we searched "best crawfish restaurant". 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place was packed with what appeared to be locals, so we knew it would be good. We got the crawfish platter and the shrimp po-boy. The crawfish was so fresh and boiled perfectly. Highly recommend you stop here for some amazing crawfish!
Chris D — Google review
Recommended by a local and we are glad we went out of the way to visit. Nice local restaurant for seafood. Great attentive service by all servers. BYOB is enough for 2 people!
Tommie O — Google review
Great find, a little ways off the highway-unassuming from the outside. Classic Cajun style seafood, we had crawfish. Very reasonable prices, you can order by the pound. The gumbo was excellent. The parking lot was jammed mid afternoon when we were there. Cash discount Clearly a "locals" place
S K — Google review
Me and the wife were celebrating and decided to come here after work. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Food was great. My wife could easily eat a lot of crawfish, she got full on 5 pounds easily 🤣. There's flavor in everything from the corn to crawfish. Has the perfect amount of spice as well❤️❤️ definitely recommended
Damahree X — Google review
Ordered the fried Seafood platter, everything was fried perfectly and had good taste. Will definitely come back next time we're in town!
Francisco V — Google review
The crawfish was absolutely delicious! I got the 3lb crawfish special with corn and potatoes. The crawfish was perfectly seasoned with hints of jalapeño, which added just enough spice. It came with a side of butter, but you really didn’t even need it. If I could give 10 stars I would. My friends got Poboys, and one person got their fried catfish and shrimp. Their plates were full and the shrimp are huge! If you’re trying to decide if you should try them out, GO! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a must. Food and service were spot on and worth the multiple visits during our 4 day trip. If you cannot tolerate smoke then don’t sit at the bar. Been awhile since being in a smoking place but doesn’t bother me and loved the food and great drinks.
Brian M — Google review
We had such a wonderful experience at Adventures Pub and Spirits in Biloxi! My sister, mother-in-law, and I visited today for my birthday lunch, and everything made the day feel special. The food arrived fresh, hot, and in very generous portions. We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere on the Gulf Coast — absolutely delicious! The crab fingers were on the smaller side, but there was an abundant amount, and the fried green tomatoes were excellent. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which was flavorful and filling; next time I’ll ask for the dressing on the side since it was a bit heavy, but overall it was still very good. It’s not a fancy spot, but the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Parking is a bit limited, so arriving early is helpful. All in all, a great local spot with fresh food, friendly service, and generous portions. We’ll definitely be back!

We love it here. They have delicious char grilled oysters and Parish Brewing Reve coffee stout on tap. The gumbo & the broccoli cheese bites are also excellent.
Jason D — Google review
We opted to sit out on the patio. There was another table seated out there and that server saw us but never acknowledged us or told anyone we were out there. So I finally walked in and asked the bartender for waters and menus. She asked where I was seated and that a server would have to bring it. I let her know we'd been seating out there for awhile now with no service. When we finally got a server, it was just mediocre service. I ordered gumbo as an appitizer that came out a degree below luke warm. I had to send it back to be heated. By the time it came back hot, our entrees came out as well. Too bad the food was decent. We enjoyed it but didnt care much for the service. I guess it's what you call HIT OR MISS.

Laid back atmosphere, great food, and thank you Nini for the great service! We really loved the dill chips & jalepeno chips appetizer. Will be back anytime we’re in Biloxi.

One of our favorites when we go to Biloxi. We’ve gone several times, and we’re always pleased. Be careful with what you order because some items are enough for two people. Chicken skins were a big hit with my boyfriend. On our visits, We’ve tried shrimp po boy, quesadillas, and burgers. Everything is always delicious! Check them out the next time you’re in town.
Brittany P — Google review
You can smoke in here if you're interested in that. The music was a nice vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. You seat yourself, so I did wait a little minute for a server, kind of noisy as well. But its great if you want to hang out with friends and have a delicious bite to eat

We had heard from the locals that this was a great place for some fresh seafood and they were not wrong at all! Not only did we leave stuffed, but we had an amazing time and everyone that we met, from the seating staff to our waitress Kacie was great! If you are in town and want to try some good grub, we highly recommend! Also the gator bites are huge!

Highly recommend

We had such a lovely experience at Shaggy’s for a girls’ lunch! It was my daughters’ first time visiting the restaurant, and they were all smiles from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed—not too noisy—which made it easy for us to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. Since it was a hot and humid day, we opted to dine inside, though there were plenty of people enjoying the fresh air on the patio. The food arrived fresh and hot, which we really appreciated. I had the grilled flounder sandwich, and the portion was generous—the flounder was huge, perfectly cooked, and incredibly juicy. My daughters tried the fried coconut shrimp and the fried fish platter, both of which were crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. My sister went with the fried shrimp platter and was very pleased. My mother had the charbroiled oysters, fried green tomatoes, and fried onion rings—she was very content with her meal and enjoyed every bite. Overall, we had a wonderful time—great food, great service, and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights at this hotel in June. We accidentally booked a smoking room through a third party website. After quite a bit of discussion with the front desk with no resolution, we asked for a manager's phone number. They have us the number for the Director of Hotel Operations, Brandon Franklin. We explained the situation, took ownership for the fact that this was OUR mistake, but asked if we could simply switch to a non-smoking room. He was extremely helpful, found a solution for us and got us into a new room quickly. We really appreciated his help. Because of him, we have a very positive impression of this resort and will now recommend it to others. The room was a little awkward in layout, but had an amazing view of the pool and Gulf. The pool at the hotel is lovely, well maintained and a very comfortable place to relax away the day. The casino was fun, not overly crowded and we actually won some money! Overall, I highly recommend this resort if you are in our traveling through Biloxi.

I will admit, I docked a star strictly because staff gave us a smoking room, after we requested a non smoking room. Thankfully the smell wasn't a bad as other locations nearby. Loved the jacuzzi tub. Pool was very nice to get to lounge in. Although them closing the bar and pool so early was a minor bummer. Overall, we had a lovely time and will consider staying at again. Just maybe in a non smoking room for sure.

Other than losing in the casino, our trip was great! Definitely eat at the Sugar Factory while you are there. It was an amazing experience. The casino was clean and the room was nice! Parking was right next to the hotel/casino. Will definitely stay there again.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The casino is good. However, we stayed in a non smoking room on the 12th floor and I felt as if I were still down in the casino where everyone was smoking . I understand you can smoke while gambling but when you pay for a non smoking room it shouldn’t feel as though you’re breathing in someone’s cigarette right next to you who chain smokes. Not to mention the bed was hard as a rock. I’ve stayed in multiple hotels in Biloxi and Vegas and have never experienced this before.

The Hard Rock Hotel and casino is a jewel on the Gulf Coast. The big Guitar is Your welcome mat to the best casino on the Gulf. Highway 90 is all of bright lights and flashy signs -but don't Miss this place. The harbor sits up against the back of the casino So you can see the local shrimpers heading cut to get todays catch or watching pelicans dive for fish. The sunsets are breathtaking. As a Gen X eR M The rock n roll memorabilia is out of this world.

The “Premier” Side Ain’t So Premier Alright, so let me start by saying I stayed in the new Premier side of the Hard Rock this time — and honestly, I wish I’d just stuck with the older side like before. The old rooms might’ve had some miles on them, but at least they had personality and working water pressure. This “Premier” setup? More like a fancy disappointment in disguise. First off, the shower pressure was pathetic — felt like I was being spritzed by a nervous garden hose. Then I realized there were no drapes on the windows, so the sun starts blasting in at 6:30 a.m. like it’s trying to prove a point. I tried building a pillow wall to block it, but that didn’t matter because there are boats outside beeping like alarm clocks from hell every single morning. The glass bathroom door made this loud pop! noise every time it opened or closed, like it was about to explode. I reported it, but maintenance ghosted me completely. And the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors sneeze, cough, and probably contemplate their life choices. Housekeeping? Not great either. The bathroom countertop was dirty, and the doors clearly hadn’t been wiped down in a while. For a “premier” room, it felt more like a backstage mess after the show. Now, I’ll give credit where it’s due — the casino staff were awesome, super friendly, and the casino itself was a blast. The restaurants were great, too — good food, good energy, all-around solid experience there. But man, the hotel side? Not it. Between the weak water pressure, the early morning wake-up calls from the sun and the boats, and walls thinner than a concert flyer, I’ll take the older side any day. At least that part of the Hard Rock knew how to treat you right.

Platinum room was great! Food was amazing! Service was stellar. If there is one thing I would say, they need to update the room description because it says "plush bathrobe" and, welp, let's just say there is def a lack of understanding in the definition of the word PLUSH. Lol!!! Just skip the robe and use the towel lol! But trust me, you're going to love this place!!

McElroy's Harbor House is a beloved family-owned restaurant in Biloxi, Mississippi, offering stunning waterfront views and delicious seafood and Southern cuisine since 1974. It has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike for its hearty breakfasts, fresh seafood lunches, and dinners. The restaurant's maritime-themed ambiance provides a welcoming escape from the typical casino scene, allowing patrons to experience the genuine taste of Biloxi.
I came over to Biloxi to casino hop for the day and was desperate for a steak and some shrimp. I haven't been back to the coast much since I moved over 10 years ago, so I wasn't familiar with many newer places in the area. But one place I knew was McElroy's. My mother and father loved this place when I was a kid. I hadn't had breakfast the day I came, so I was pretty hungry. Starting out I ordered crab cakes. These were so delicious because they weren't covered in breading and deep fried. Not were they filled with bread and other filler. These two crab cakes were all meat! And they were so juicy and spicy, paired with the dipping sauce it was divine! The only steak they had on their menu was a 12 ounce ribeye and while that's not my favorite cut of meat, it was melt in your mouth perfection! I usually enjoy A1 steak sauce on my choice cut but the seasoning on this steak combined with how well it was cooked, was exactly what I was craving. The grilled shrimp I added were gulf shrimp and that's a big plus ! I can't stand farm raised icky bottom bugs. The view I had overlooking the water made the experience the best of the day, considering I lost the money I came with at the casinos. My server was incredibly sweet and attentive too! Thank you Ms Connie!

Are you kidding me? Where are you local people at Tuesday through Thursday night? Check out this sample of splitting the shrimp and grits and a beautiful house salad for a low price with this view! Make sure you order a side of the amazing off the grill garlic bread to soft up all that shrimp and grits gravy. I’m almost hesitant to post this because y’all gonna crowd it up like on the weekends. But there’s plenty of room here tonight. Miss Tiffany, our server was amazing and will fix you up with just what your tastes need.

We got a recommendation from front desk lady from Maritime Seafood Museum! She wasn’t lying about McElroy’s. Oysters from Louisiana was slamming. Key lime pie, Gumbo, stuff mushrooms and crab cakes was 10/10 also. Our server Q, she knocked it out the park with her service, friendly and knowledgeable.

Stopped by feeling hungry. Got a harbor salad with tuna and fries. Yes, it was good. After eating a great meal at a good price. We paid and left with a feeling of satisfaction. Will surely be back again.

The server was great. Unfortunately this restaurant is serving "Imported shrimp, crab and fish" we ordered the fried crab claws, our favorite dish. The crab meat was dry, no taste and the batter was dry as possible been frozen This dish was one of the best at this restaurants. We learned that most of the restaurants in Biloxi are serving seafood from Ecuador, the Phillipines and other countries.

What can I say I've traveled around the world in some of the most famous spots and I have met some of the most elite people I do have to say this is one of the best places to eat in Biloxi. Foods always good the drinks are superb very tasteful the place is usually got business in it which is a great sign for me and I leave their feeling happy. Be prepared to sit for at least 45 minutes thank you for reviewing my post.

I’m not gonna lie, as a northern girl, I just wanted some fresh, southern fried catfish. I had it here and it was delicious. We also had the steak, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had a couple of cocktails, which were also tasty. The side of greens we had were okay - not the worst or the best I’ve had. But the highlight of our visit was our server, Garrett. What a wonderful person you all have on your team! He was attentive, well versed in the menu, and just so kind with the most inviting smile - I literally said “what a sweet young man” every time he left our table. Food and service were great, a winning combo.

Shaggy's Gulfport Beach is a popular waterfront eatery in the heart of Gulfport, offering stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. The casual ambiance and welcoming staff make it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Known for its delicious seafood, tropical cocktails, and southern specialties, Shaggy's provides an easygoing island atmosphere perfect for enjoying with family or friends.
We were staying at a hotel in walking distance to Shaggy’s and decided to give it a try after seeing such great reviews online. It was very busy but we only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated which is very reasonable given how many people were there. They offered 1/2 priced drinks while you waited which was an added perk. My boys and I played cornhole outside which was a fun way to pass the time. Trinity and Emily both helped our table and both were super friendly and attentive to our needs. The boys ordered off the kids’ menus - the meals are served in frisbees that you get to keep and for only $7.99 (comes with entree, side, and a drink) I found that to be very reasonable. They ordered the popcorn shrimp with fries (he loved it) and my other son ordered the Alfredo pasta with a side salad. It was nothing to write home about but I’m not surprised about that. We also ordered the gator bites (yum!), fresh oysters (extra yum!), and my absolute favorite of the night - stuffed avocados. That was so fresh tasting and the flavors just danced on your taste buds. I would definitely order that again. The atmosphere if fun and high energy. Family friendly and dog friendly too - which is an added bonus for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious food, friendly faces, and true Southern hospitality! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and respect. Lovely Emily welcomed and seated us with a smile that set the tone for the entire visit. Our server, Arlana, was attentive and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We started with savory, flavorful gumbo, followed by a huge seafood platter for two—crispy fries, golden shrimp, oysters, flounder, and hush puppies that were all absolutely delicious. The barbecue wings appetizer was finger-licking good! The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable, and our drinks were refilled promptly without even having to ask. A special thank you to Emily again—her warmth and professionalism truly reflect the spirit of Shaggy’s. Even the employee working out back gave me a great impression before I entered. When I asked, “How’s the food here?” he smiled and answered, “Oh yes, ma’am,” with that genuine down-home Southern charm that told me everything I needed to know. As a recently retired high school teacher of 30+ years, that kind of respect and authenticity means a lot to me. If you’re reading this to decide whether to visit Shaggy’s, my answer is simple: yes, yes, and yes! 🤗🤗🤗

Beachfront with indoor and outdoor seating. Good food, good drinks, fantastic service. It's the tropical island atmosphere that you would hope to find at a seafood restaurant. Highly recommended. I was there mid-day and mid-week for lunch, which seems to be the perfect time to visit as there were other customers around but not too busy to truly enjoy the decor and surroundings. Highly recommend!

What a remarkable and truly surprising place we found on a drive after an aquarium visit one day in Biloxi. We seen shaggy's while going to the aquarium that day, and decided it sounded like fun and worth a stop...we weren't disappointed in the slightest! Amazing drinks, delicious food, and one outstanding view of the Biloxi Delta that looked straight out of a story. The staff was so nice and respectful. The food, to die for! The best po boy we had since New Orleans and the absolute most delicious Gulf red shrimp roll you could want! Proving why Biloxi and the Gulf used to be the sea food capitol of the world.

We'd heard about this place a few times, so I decided to stop in to get my own opinion. First, it turned out that you need a reservation. It's like you'd find in a high-end establishment. While you wait in the small hallway, you can buy drinks in advance—to make the wait less of a chore. All the tables have high chairs, as do the bar counters. You can check the prices on the website, but full meals start at $18 and up, and there's a wide selection of alcoholic cocktails. Throughout the entire experience, it felt like the waitresses were rushing us to get a table. This became especially clear when the plate I'd been using was snatched from under my nose. I wasn't ready to finish my meal yet. It's a complete failure of service. The wait for a table was 45 minutes, and we sat for 30 minutes. It's hardly a restaurant. I give it two stars for the taste of the grilled chicken and the opportunity to try gator meat. However, the batter on the gator meat was so spicy and fried that it was difficult to appreciate. The overall impression is that it's overhyped.

Shaggy’s Gulfport – A Flavorful First Visit with Coastal Charm We visited Shaggy’s Gulfport for the first time and were greeted with a brief 15-minute wait for a party of three—just enough time to soak in the laid-back, coastal ambiance. The Gulf vibe is strong here, with breezy decor and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a relaxed dining experience. Service: From the moment we arrived to the moment we left full and happy, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. Whether you're walking in for the first time or heading out after a great meal, the service makes you feel like a regular. Appetizer: We started with the Blackened Shrimp Spinach Dip. The flavor was spot-on—rich, creamy, and well-seasoned. The only downside was the chips, which could’ve been fresher to match the quality of the dip. Entrees: - Seafood Mac & Cheese: A standout dish. Generous portions, large shrimp, and a creamy, flavorful sauce that paired beautifully with the buttered toast. - Shrimp Trio: This plate was loaded with shrimp and didn’t disappoint. The coconut shrimp stole the show—crispy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The bacon-wrapped shrimp added a nice jalapeño kick, while the butter garlic shrimp, though well-cooked, could use a bit more seasoning to elevate the dish. - Yellowfin Tuna Bowl: A lighter option that impressed. The tuna was fresh and high-quality, served over a small portion of jasmine rice with just the right stickiness. The sesame seeds and spicy mayo added depth, and the avocado and cucumber rounded it out nicely. The side salad was a refreshing touch. Final Thoughts: Shaggy’s offers much more than we had time to try, but we’ll definitely be back—if only to enjoy the views and sip a well-crafted adult cocktail. Whether you're craving seafood or just want to unwind by the water, this spot delivers on both flavor and atmosphere.

Located in the heart of Gulfport, White Cap Restaurant is a charming seafood joint with a Southern accent and a relaxed nautical atmosphere. The restaurant offers classic seaside charm and attentive service that enhances the dining experience. Known for its home-style cooking and Southern hospitality, it serves up an array of delectable seafood dishes such as seafood gumbo, jumbo fried shrimp, grilled oysters, and po boys.
White Cap is one of my mother’s favorite restaurants and she took me there today for my birthday lunch. It was my first time and honestly I don’t know why! The exterior is nice, but the interior is very nice. The coastal and nautical decor is classy yet casual. You could dress up or dress down. It is a very clean restaurant with lovely views of the Gulf. The staff are very friendly and professional. Jeanviere was our server and we were 100% satisfied. Now for the most important part…THE FOOD. My mother thinks that their fried butterfly shrimp are the best and she orders them every time. Their hush puppies are big, homemade, and delicious. Anyone who visits this place should get an order of them! I ordered the blackened redfish with a seafood cream sauce and their special green beans as my side. I also had a cup of their crawfish and corn bisque. Everything was cooked to perfection. I will highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

I believe that if someone asked me where I could get a nice Southern cooked Biloxi/Gulfport meal, I would send them here. They are right across from the Gulf and have outdoor tables as well as a great view through the windows inside. They shuck the oysters right here. I had red beans rice and catfish along with great tasting coleslaw. The catfish tasted extra fresh. Even the hush puppies that I don't normally enjoy were really good. I met the owner who was shucking the oysters for some customers. This place has been in his family since the early 1900s. Shrimp, crawfish, fish, red beans and rice, etc. I don't think you could find a better restaurant for Southern Mississippi cooking. And all of it at very reasonable prices. Sydney was our waitress and she did a fine job of taking care of us. Southern Hospitality and great food, MMM -mmm good.

This was my daughter's first time eating oysters and she absolutely loved the grilled half dozen she ate. I got the seafood platter and devoured with gusto each of the items overflowing on the plate. I just love the seasoning they use on their fried food and all the restaurant made dressings and sauces. Come for the seafood and atmosphere, you surely won't be disappointed.

Food was pretty good. I ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi. It was overcooked/dry. However, the raw oysters were great, along with the salad and parsley potatoes! Everyone else's food was perfect! Will go back, and I will try it again next time!!! Service was wonderful as well!!

We were excited to go here for our anniversary dinner. Long story short, we walked out and we don’t do that. The scallops were so bad we couldn’t even cut them with our fork. They tasted nasty with a really strong fishy flavor. No flavor to the potatoes or blue cheese salad dressing, and the vegetables came out some weird beige color to the cauliflower. This was for a $27 plate of food. I don’t think so. The beautiful ocean views were the only good thing about it.

We went to White Cap on a Monday evening around 6:40 pm for dinner. There was no wait (we had just missed the rush) so that was nice because we had two very hungry kids with us. We ordered a dozen oysters which came out pretty quickly. My husband also ordered a cup of the crawfish and corn bisque. Surprisingly this took longer than I expected to come out but it was very delicious and I would definitely order that again. My son ordered the catfish fillet with fries off of the kids menu and he really enjoyed those. My other son ordered the Shrimp Po’Boy and he LOVED it. I ordered the 1/2 shrimp, 1/2 oyster Po’Boy but unfortunately our server accidentally gave it to the wrong table and because it was 7:30 by the time our food came out, she offered to have them make it again but put it in a box to go or I could eat the Po’Boy the other table ordered (catfish). I do not like catfish and I did not want to take my meal to go to eat back at the hotel so I opted just not to have it. I was bummed because I was really looking forward to it. Other than that though - we had a good experience and our server was really nice and apologetic for the mishap.

Local place with good seafood. It was day one of cruising on the coast... At 12:30 pm on Monday, we had no trouble getting in. Good parking. Steps to enter front door - not bad. Good hostess, nice bar and view of beach. Nice atmosphere and restrooms. Food arrived promptly. Nice salad, good gumbo, very nice grilled shrimp! Oysters on half shell were average. Seafood platter was a decent size with fried fish as best item - large filet prepared well. Skip the stuffed crab - not up to par! Three of us splurged on grilled oysters, had a beer, and added extra 6 fried to platter. Two of us shared seafood platter. With tip, we spent just over $150.

We initially went because it was less crowded than than the other seafood restaurants.  It was very welcoming. Great customer service.  I had the combo plate , catfish and shrimp (fried). My husband had catfish and buffalo wings. We both enjoyed our meals.  The seasoned batter was really good. The portion sizes are big - enough for 2 people. The prices are less than other places. We will definitely go again the next time we are in Biloxi.

Shrimp & catfish platter with onion rings instead of fries (small up charge for the swap), and seafood gumbo with potato salad. Food was delicious, onion rings were melt in your mouth yummy. Catfish was clean tasting, the fried shrimp were a little over cooked, but not bad. The gumbo was thick and rich, would have liked a few more shrimp & okra in it, but it had good flavor. The potato salad was especially delicious. I don't know what they put in it but it was the best potato salad from a restaurant I've had in a long time. We chose to sit outside on the balcony since was a pretty day lovely view of the Gulf, but the seating was not comfortable, picnic tables and benches built with 2x4's serviceable and sturdy but not comfy. If you're tired sit inside. We were satisfied with our lunch and would stop there again.

They shut the power off at our RV park today so we went to Snappers for breakfast. Definitely the right decision. The food was excellent you can tell from the pictures. On top of that it's on the beach and you have a beautiful view of the Biloxi Beach. Fortunately it was also a sunny warm day so we had a great View. We sat on the back deck outside. Our waitress Holly was right there to take care of us, coming back off and to make sure we had everything we needed and that the food was prepared the way we wanted. I took advantage of their special which was Mimosa for $5 with breakfast. Perfect for the morning. My wife ordered off the build it omelette menu and according to her it was all very good. I'm glad we had the opportunity to go to Snappers today.

Against my better judgment, I disregarded the bad reviews to decide for myself. Location and open atmosphere were the best part of our visit. No greeting upon entering, despite being almost empty. Made our way to the bar on our own accord where the bartender was also decent. The important part- the food was beyond disappointing, especially considering they were probably at 10% capacity. -NOLA BBQ Shrimp was burnt! -I ordered a wood fired Flat Bread Pizza. First bite was cold and thought I’d give it one more bite, only to discover a piece of meat that was still partially frozen. Decided to take it home and heat it myself. -Wife ordered Mahi Tacos and said it was not worth a second bite. As you can see from the photos, we ended up getting our main dishes to go, to heat and fix up at home. Our bartender kindly asked if she could do anything, but we politely declined without making a big deal out of it. Kudos to her. Also, she’s the only reason I’m not giving a one star review. Overall, the restaurant seemed very appealing, which is mostly why we wanted to stop. However, because of our experience we’ll not return. Hope everyone else has a better experience.

The food was delicious in person, but unfortunately ordering anything to-go does not come close to what we got at the table. There was a slightly long wait for the food coming out, and we noticed it at another table as well. Overall I would recommend it. Oysters-at Restaurant vs. Loaded fries at Home; there was barely anything on the fries :(

Our food was fabulous!!! We started at a table outside, but the wind picked up, so we moved inside. Our waitress was very kind & did not seem bothered at all by our change. We shared the seafood sampler (it's a lot of food!) and it was outstanding! Well worth the money.

At this point I've been here a handful of times but each time the server was so kind the atmosphere is on the water so what's to not love about that, each thing I've tried was delicious. I get something different but my friend always gets the fish tacos and she loves them. There is boat access from the Gulf so it's an all around winner in my book.. FAMILY FRIENDLY.. including the dog (outside seating)

10/25 Second time here. No substitutions for fries unless you pay extra, eventhough, they cost the same. I will say that the smashburger was good, but I am not sure that the talent of being able to get the edges of the flatbed to nearly burnt while leaving the center ice cold is a good thing. First time here. We have been to many restaurants in the area in the last three weeks. It was a wonderful setting as we sat outside. It was not very busy. The waitress was nice but it took her a while to bring us drinks. There were five of us. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were not very good. They were stuffed with some sausage concoction that tasted very cheap. The burgers were tasty. Unfortunately, at $16, they were the most expensive burger I have ever seen (and the smallest). So, in the end, even though some of the food was very good (and others not), I will not return due to this place being overpriced.

Our server on Friday night was Tabitha and she was wonderful and the food was delicious so we went back tonight, Saturday. Tonight Cameron took very good care of us. Both young ladies were wonderful and the food again was excellent. Hopefully, when we come back in March 2026, we will be able to catch up with them both. Wonderful atmosphere and food was great. Thank you.

The eatery serves up mouthwatering seafood alongside traditional American fare, staying true to its name by filling patrons to the brim with delicious food and drinks.
I was very surprised. The food was delicious! The burger was made very well and the mushrooms and fried pickles …. Yes they were so good. But I have a tip, if you’re picking up, donot leave the lid close, they will sweat. They are so good, even cold.

We came here because of the reviews but was highly disappointed. Guess I’ll start with the staff first. 2 rude bartenders that lack customer service skills. The bartender tending to us snatched our menus from in front of us while we were looking to select drinks and rolled her eyes when we asked for the menus backs, so we decide not to get any drinks. When our food came: 1. They NEVER brought us silverware or napkins, 2 NOT ONCE DID THEY CHECK WITH US to ensure we enjoy the food or needed anything. 3. The one bartender who was our server was so busy closing out tickets and count money that that’s all she did the entire 40 mins we was there. The other bartender had an attitude when we finally asked for silverware. We ordered the seafood platter and you would think being this close to the gulf the seafood would be fresh. It was all horrible prebattered frozen seafood. All of which taste horrible. The crab cake I’m sure is 100% crab filler with no real crab meat in it. There was a man behind the bar not sure if he was the manager or another bartender but he was standing directly in front of us. After calling for his attention for a solid 2 mins the bartender who was counting the money stopped and asked what we needed. We asked for a cup of ice. She fixed a cup of ice and slammed it in front of us. The funny thing is after not attending to us the entire time she ask us in the middle of our meal could she close us out because it’s shift change. I wanted to ask her how about serving us instead of ignoring us but I said yes please close us out. This is the first time in life I ever paid exact amount without tipping. Our experience was just terrible. On the bright side the atmosphere was nice and their French fries are delicious. I own a restaurant in Florida and was definitely shocked experiencing what I did today. I highly NO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Worse place on the coast to eat! From the rude waitress to the food to the guy walking around like he maybe the owner and taking care of his friends and not some newbies. I had Heard all the hype about this place and its best they just stick to boiling seafood and not the big boy stuff. How do you have one waitress on Memorial Day weekend? The pictures in their website must be AI or some other restaurant cause this was not the same food we ordered. We came in and it took forever to order and she seemed overwhelmed, rightly so she’s the only one on duty. Ole guy, is yapping it up with the locals instead of helping. Food sits in the window for 20 mins before she came and brought it out. Crawfish nachos and carnival Pasta. The nachos were pitiful. We should’ve got concession stand nachos at the shuckers game. The pasta was also bad. More noodles and a thin sauce poured over them and then some sprinkled seafood over the top instead of cooking it inside the pasta. We had fried pickles and that was the only good thing we had. Food was cold. Oh, beer finally comes to the table with the food and apps. All together. Just look at the pictures. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND NO I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER CHANCE FOR YOU TO MAKE IT RIGHT! Over priced food! One and done. BTW, still waiting for my other refill and beer!

This place is a must-visit if you've never been! The burgers are amazing and very well-seasoned, and they are handcrafted and dressed perfectly. The hot wings with buffalo sauce make a great appetizer - fresh, sizzling, and made to order. The sweet tea was excellent, and the atmosphere and service were very welcoming. The views of downtown and the stretch towards the beach are great. Our waitress, Layla, did an excellent job taking our order and ensuring everything was to our satisfaction throughout. She's a real asset to the business. We'll be back soon! My wife loves the Jam burger so much that she has difficulty ordering anything else! 😆

9-01-2025 stop playing today for lunch. I had the debris roast beef PoBoy sandwich and my guests the hamburger with fries. For a restaurant with heavy ties with New Orleans, this place wouldn't last a week in New Orleans. I lived in N.O. for 40 years and NEVER had a po-boy a French bread taste like this. This bread was gummy and heavy. The homemade sauce/pickles on the hamburger was so overpowering, you couldn't taste the meat. The fries are real but lacking. The food come in record time which led us to believe it was pre-cooked. Nothing was fresh. Beware if you ask for extra gravy. They charge an extra $2. Not a place I'll repeat. Atmosphere A+

BR Prime is a sophisticated steakhouse located within the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, offering dry-aged prime beef, seafood, and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant boasts a glamorous dining room with romantic vibes and serene ambiance, making it an ideal spot for special occasions and dates. Known for its award-winning steaks and aged beef, BR Prime is a haven for meat enthusiasts.
So this is our fourth time at Prime. I waited to review it for one reason I simply couldn’t believe how good it was the first three times. Tonight was no exception. We started with sesame seared tuna and baked Brie they were both exceptional and so was everything else. I included photos to accurately detail the best dining experience of our lives. The service from Joe and staff was outstanding in every way. They made average people feel exceptional for a night and capped it of with a visit from Chef Zachary who shared his culinary expertise. In my experience this kind of service doesn’t happen without real support from above so everyone should be proud. The reviewers who left low ratings live in a different world than us apparently. We live here and I gladly recommend this place without a doubt.

Since I was traveling along, I ate at the bar. I was welcomed with a friendly smile. Both bartenders watched over me with much care! I had a Caesar Salad, 22 ounce Dry Aged Bone-In Ribeye and Duck Fat Fries. The steak was cooked to perfection and overall the meal was outstanding! I've never eaten here before, but I will be back! Great experience! Hat off to all, Great Job!

BP Prime at Beau Rivage truly lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is refined and undeniably elegant, making every moment feel special. My Delmonico steak arrived flawlessly cooked to medium-well—perfectly tender and packed with flavor. For a seamless experience, I highly recommend making a reservation; it’s worth it to skip the wait and dive right into an elevated dining experience.

I dined here for my mom’s birthday dinner. The server seemed a bit off but other than that, we enjoyed the meal. The Wedge and Caesar salads were both good. We didn’t want steak so both ordered the Whole Pan Dover Sole which was really good! They deboned them at the table so that was cool to watch. For sides, we shared the Au Gratin Potatoes (yummy) and Creamed Spinach which wasn’t really good. Since it was my mom’s birthday, they brought her the cutest box of macarons with a candle. That really made her feel special. Overall it was a good experience. However the vibe was strange…maybe because it’s located in a casino?

Not too bad, a little expensive for basic steak. We got the ribeye and the New York strip Both tasted the same, but the service and atmosphere and the sides are amazing! Book it at your own expense. Can’t say I’d definitely recommend.

I wish you’d reach out to me. I left my phone number in this review on your webpage Tonight I ordered the halibut and I waited 45 minutes for you to bring it out, and it was hard as a rock. The waitress assistant, a tall blonde lady explained that two others went back at the same time so she stayed it wasn’t just me. I then ordered a steak Which they decided to rush out in minutes, completely burnt on both sides and cold in the middle. I tried to eat it. I just couldn’t chew through it and decided to spit it out and call her back over. At this point, she couldn’t even look me in the face. She just picked up the plate and left. Then your manager came out and stated to me that he was sorry that the food was so bad and that he had told her that there was nothing else that I wanted them to do so he asked me to leave. I explained to him that the fish was hard as a rock and said underneath the heat light for probably 45 minutes in the state was burned just to get something on the plate. He didn’t care to listen to anything I said, even after I explained, she never asked to make it right. I’ve eaten here over 50 times and every once in a while you get terrible service and tonight was that night. Sadly, the restaurant was 75 to 80% empty and I can see why. Either you have fired your good chefs or your staff is just decided they don’t care. But it’s the manager that should’ve made it right or attempted to. Today is September 24 and my dinner was at 5:45. I left at 7:00PM with no food. I make these reservations months in advance and it’s a shame that I’m served such terrible food and you dismissed me like I’m a piece of garbage. I’ve never been treated like this anywhere. Your manager and chef should be ashamed of themselves for serving such crap

This was our 1st visit. Unfortunately, it will be our last. We frequent steakhouses all over the world so I think we have the ability to assess one that will he fair. Keep in mind it was our experience. Yours may be different. Bottom line...it was really bad..I left hungry and so disappointed. Took 20 minutes after being seated to get a drink. We had a waiter who had alot of table side desserts, so we didnt get a lot from him. In instead we had another guy trying to bring things to his ⁶ý⁶ as they came out. W⁶⁶e ordered charbroid oysters for appetizer..when they they were cold and covered in parmigian cheese, and the garlic butter was served with the sauce to put on it on the side. It was cold and gross. I tried to eat 2. Next we ordered bone in river to split, a ceasar salad, Brussels sprouts. Never got the salad sprouts ha no seasoning and were very hard. We had duck fries that loked like they were the scraps left in a basket..aà I was done after that. The bill was 240.00..absolutely ridiculous. Here's the tip ..if u dont serve an ordered entre at all u dont get a tip..thats just not acceptable...bad food and bad service . Hungry going in hungry going out. And put some seasoning on your food for God's sake.

Half Shell Oyster House is an upscale-casual Southern seafood restaurant and bar that offers a variety of dishes including oysters, po' boys, steaks, and cocktails. Located within the Hard Rock Casino, this establishment also features a sushi bar. The restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with its cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Guests can enjoy delicious seafood options such as gumbo and shrimp po'boys, as well as delectable sushi rolls like the big boss roll.
Located inside the hard rock casino and hotel, this is a unbelievable place to eat. The atmosphere is great inside, you have TVs by the bar if you wanna catch a game, and also very themed environment! We sat in the bar area, and the two bartenders were really nice, and explained everything on the menu, and gave us suggestions on what was good since it was our first time there! They took their time! We had the oyster, small sampler, which was two oysters from all four of their oyster offerings, they were all amazing and tasty!!! There is a sampler on the menu where you get four of each, but if you ask the server or bartender, they can give you the two oyster small sampler for $21.75! We also had the seafood pot pie, which came out fresh, hot, and full of seafood! We also enjoyed the snow crab salad, which was full of snow crab, they didn’t skimp! And we also tried the Louis Armstrong role, which, or if your sushi fan was an A+ ! We wanted to recognize both bartenders that helped us, and especially Tylin goes by “Ty” , who was a really nice and professional bartender all night long!

Giovanni was an excellent waiter. The menu is extensive and very reasonable. But things went downhill fast. We ordered a Manhattan and then an old fashioned (drinks that I consider pretty basic to make) but they were not good. We even had to send 1 back. We also ordered the sampler oyster plate but the person who brought them out to us just plopped it on our table. We had to find Giovanni to ask him which oyster was which flavor. The chowder we ordered came out lukewarm- I’m not sure why their soup isn’t piping hot. For dinner, I ordered the Redfish Orleans, which flavorwise was good but wow, it was salty. The oil was spicy too. Hubby got the voodoo shrimp poboy which was fried shrimp coated in barbecue/stirfry sauce. He wasn’t a fan because it was too sweet. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for the food (maybe the raw oysters are really good?) but the service was impeccable.

Excellent meal. We tried this restaurant years ago and we left unimpressed. Decided to try again and WOW, what a difference. Food was delicious. Our sweet server, Kaitlyn took great care of us. It's so nice to have great friendly servers. It's how it should be. Dishes were nicely presented and very tasty. The sweet potatoes were divine. Don't skip dessert if they have the pecan pie cheesecake. It was heavenly. The decor is cool, old doors line the walls. Definitely will be returning.

I want to thank the gentlemen by the high tables and bar area, we ate here twice and they were very professional. The whole crew does a great job, the dishwasher, busser, the other servers and the hostesses upfront, and of course the cooks and chefs. Besides the weekends, hours are limited compared to the main location on Lamuese, prices are also a bit higher but I think it's because it's inside a casino. Regardless, the food is just as fabulous. They also have a sushi bar, so you have more options than you think!

The food was good as normal but my wife and I were extremely disappointed with how tiny the oysters were. We eat a lot of oysters and we expect to get a couple runts but our entire 2 dozen were runts. Some of them were so small that I thought they were missing. They did give us 1 extra because of the size. They're too expensive to be this size. The manager apologized for the tiny size but still gave that big bill😂 If this happens again I'll just send them back; this was on the ridiculously small size. My steak was good and tender.

Scene: A bustling evening inside Hard Rock Biloxi. The air is alive with the clinking of silverware, the distant hum of slot machines, and the unmistakable scent of butter, seafood, and glory. Enter: Us, hungry protagonists in search of something beyond ordinary. We were guided by fate (and our stomachs) to the doors of Half Shell Oyster House, where the lovely hostess welcomed us like we were returning cast members in a sequel she was genuinely excited to see. “Welcome back!” she said with a smile that had the warmth of sweet tea in July. Cue the real star of the show: Giovanni. Our server. Our guide. Our culinary spirit animal. If restaurant service were a martial art, Giovanni would be a black belt with a gold-trimmed apron. He was prompt, poised, and more respectful than a Southern grandma on Sunday morning. He made sure everything hit the table like it had its own entrance music. Let’s talk about the menu plotline: • The Crab Leg Salad? A fresh, flaky redemption arc in a bowl. • The Crawfish Bisque? If warmth and flavor had a baby, this soup would be its godfather. • The Sushi Rolls? Crisp, cool, and clearly rolled by someone with serious chopstick confidence. • And then… the Fried Tuna Steak – a bold, crunchy character with a mysterious sweet potato crème brûlée sidekick that stole the show and nearly made us applaud between bites. But every great movie has a twist: the fried green beans. Let’s just say they were the unexpected plot hole. Not bad, just… unnecessary. Like the third act of a 4-hour director’s cut. But hey — even award-winning films have a moment or two you fast forward. Final verdict? If this dinner were a film, we’d give it five stars and demand a sequel. We’ll be back for another screening soon — with an appetite and hopes that Giovanni’s still headlining. Bravo, Half Shell. Bravo.

I’m an avid lover of seafood. Sadly I found grit in my charbroiled oysters, we requested a medium steak and received a medium rare one and I found a huge crab shell in my crab cakes with the first bite. I only mentioned something about the crab shell due to completely ruining my appetite for the crab cakes. I requested they take off the $6 for the crab cakes on my seafood sampler bill due to me not eating them because of the found shell, and the manager only removed $2. The waitress was kind, professional and amazing. But the management and food was not, I will not be returning, definitely do not recommend.

The Chimneys Restaurant in Gulfport offers a refined dining experience with classic coastal cuisine served in an elegant, white-tablecloth setting. The restaurant is known for its exceptional hospitality, stunning surroundings, delectable cuisine, and dedicated service. It's a popular choice for special occasions or a nice night out. Housed in a beautiful old house with a large porch for outdoor dining, the restaurant provides an upscale atmosphere.
The place was highly recommended by a colleague on our business trip. This quaint and charming restaurant is beautifully located right across the beach front coast of Gulfport, Mississippi. For the appetizer, I ordered seafood eggplants. It's baked, had crispy toppings, creamy eggplants, and seafood on the inside. It tastes so good! For my main course, I ordered the triple tail special, lump crabs, and a wild rice on the side. It has a generous slice amount of fish perfectly cooked paired with the delicious creamy lump crabs on the top. The restaurant table setup was nice with fresh, colorful flowers on a flower base. The restaurant is clean with large windows for one to appreciate the wooded outside, and the view of the ocean front can be visible at the restaurant side porch . The service was good, and the price of food is affordable. I highly recommend this place.

My family has frequented this restaurant many times over the years. It’s well worth the drive from Ocean Springs. I would venture to say The Chimney’s is the best restaurant on the MS Gulf Coast! The fried shrimp is one of my personal favorites, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu in my opinion.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Chimneys Restaurant – Gulfport, Mississippi As a live caricature artist, I’ve had the pleasure of working at The Chimneys twice now — most recently during Cruisin’ the Coast. Imagine arriving for a wedding and discovering one of the biggest festivals of the year happening all around you! Thankfully, despite the crowds, I had no trouble getting to the venue. From the moment I arrived (an hour early), I could tell I was in for a treat. The staff was in full motion — at least 20 to 30 people buzzing around, perfectly organized, discussing service flow and setup. The professionalism was impressive. The venue itself is stunning: right across from the water, with twinkling string lights, a wraparound porch, and a spacious lawn where the DJ had guests dancing under the stars. There’s ample room both indoors and out, so even if weather doesn’t cooperate, the celebration can go on beautifully. What truly stood out, though, was the service. The team checked on me multiple times throughout the night — making sure I had water and even bringing me a full plate of food. I often include a vendor-meal clause in my contract, but they went above and beyond and offered me the same menu as the guests. I chose the filet, and it was hands-down the best vendor plate I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Between the gorgeous coastal setting, the white-glove service, and the incredible food, The Chimneys easily earns a perfect score from me. I’d happily return here for a special occasion — in fact, I’m already eyeing Valentine’s Day dinner! ✨ Service: 5/5 ✨ Atmosphere: 5/5 ✨ Food: 5/5 Highly recommend this gem for weddings, anniversaries, and any event where you want a truly memorable experience.

The Chimneys Restaurant was the perfect wedding reception venue! From start to finish, the team was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and wishes. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the combination of indoor and outdoor spaces created the ideal backdrop for our celebration. Whether it was the charming interior or the stunning outdoor views, every part of the venue added to the magic of the day. The food was absolutely incredible, our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure the entire event flowed seamlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our daughter and son-in-laws big day. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, amazing service, and unforgettable food, The Chimneys is it!

The fish was amazing. The server was wonderful. There was a group of women in there that were so loud it sounded like a school cafeteria. We were not prepared for such a loud Atmosphere. Water view. Excellent atmosphere. We choose to sit at a table outside on the front porch. They were out of Redfish and didn't tell us until we were ready to order it. The tuna steak was not on the lunch menu. Settled for the special of the day. That was disappointing to not be able to order what I wanted. Food was ok. Probably should have gone with the blackened Redfish even with substituted fish. Overall experience was just ok. Would give it another shot based on location, view & atmosphere

Thirty-Two is an upscale steak and seafood restaurant located on the 32nd floor of the IP Casino Resort & Spa, offering stunning water views. It is known for its exclusive fine dining experience and understated elegance. The menu features delicious dishes such as New York strip and Moroccan spice-rubbed grove lamb, complemented by an award-winning wine list with American and imported bottles.
We decided to try this popular restaurant because of the view and what we heard about the quality of the food. It was great on both counts. We were told that the 32nd Floor had the best views in the Biloxi area and I'm pretty sure that's correct. On top of that they had a terrific menu, excellent waitstaff and outstanding food. Our waiter Kyle, assisted by Daniel were right by our side attending to our needs all evening. We were seated next to a fairly large window with a good view of downtown Biloxi and the bay. All of the food was well prepared and presented well. This was as much about presentation as good culinary skill. We did not try their significant wine selection, but the mixed drinks were done well. I will say they had a limited selection of non-alcohol beers (1) which was a little disappointing. Following the excellent meal and appetizers, we decided to try one of their cheesecake desserts which was mouth-wateringly excellent. If you're looking for a great view as well as an excellent meal, the 32 is the place to be. It was slightly pricier than I anticipated, however we did have two appetizers, two entrees, a couple drinks, and a terrific dessert to share. This is one of those restaurants where you'd like to be able to give more than five stars. The food, the quality of the service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant all made this an excellent value.

My husband and I had an amazing dinner tonight. Celebrating his 51st birthday. Steak and lobster special was delicious. The onion soup stole the show for me. Cocktails were perfect, you have to try the orange martini. And the crème brûlée with the happy birthday chocolate topped it all off. Shout out to our server, Kyle (you went above and beyond for us) and his assistant Daniel who made our dining experience truly wonderful.

The chef is definitely an artist. We enjoyed the duck-fat fried quail as an appetizer and additionally each of our steaks were perfectly prepared. We had the 1855 filet and the delmonico. Highly recommend these dishes. Service was decent. Atmosphere was very mellow, relaxed low-lighting setting, with some ambiance dancing off of the tables from the wine bottles on display. Overall, pretty good. Check it out.

Perched atop the IP Casino in Biloxi, Thirty-Two offers not just a meal, but an unforgettable fine dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance set the tone for an elegant evening. We began with a drink at the bar, where the expertly crafted cocktails and warm hospitality immediately impressed us. Once seated, the service was nothing short of exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and seamlessly orchestrated. Every detail, from the table setting to the timing of each course, was meticulously executed. To start, I indulged in the French onion soup, which was deeply rich and perfectly balanced, with a savory broth, caramelized onions, and a generous layer of gooey, golden-brown cheese. The Caesar salad followed, and its house-made dressing was simply outstanding—creamy, tangy, and packed with flavor. For the main course, we chose the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and it was nothing short of perfection. The steak was flawlessly cooked to our desired doneness, tender and bursting with flavor, while the mashed potatoes were velvety smooth and indulgently buttery. We ended our meal on a high note with bananas Foster, prepared tableside in a mesmerizing display of fire and finesse. The combination of warm caramelized bananas, spiced rum sauce, and creamy vanilla ice cream was the perfect conclusion to our evening. As if the meal wasn’t impressive enough, the breathtaking sunset views from our table elevated the entire experience. Watching the sky transform with hues of orange and pink while enjoying world-class cuisine made for a truly unforgettable night. If you’re in Biloxi, Thirty-Two is an absolute must-visit for those seeking top-tier dining, impeccable service, and stunning panoramic views.

What a perfect restaurant. The friendly and attentive staff welcomes you as soon as you walk up. The quality of the service continues as soon as you sit down. If you are a wine drinker, they have one of the best wine lists I've ever seen for a restaurant. They have quite a few 100 pointers available for purchase. The food here checks every box. French onion soup is an absolute delicacy here. It was phenomenal. Wedge salad was excellet. The pork belly pieces were cooked to perfection. Green goddess dressing was spectacular. For my steak I ordered the delamanaco medium rare with bone marrow butter. Steak was cooked perfectly. What a great piece of meat. Wife had the bone in veal chop and that was a great bite as well. You really cant go wrong here .

We went to 32 for dinner on our final night at the IP. The atmosphere and the view were amazing. We were a little under dressed because we were just going to get a noodle bowl at the Noodle Bar with our voucher but they would not let our 16 yo son on that part of the casino floor which worked out for us 😊. We were grateful they did not mind our t-shirts and flip flops. We started with Charbroiled oysters. My husband loved these but they were slightly underdone for me. My husband and son could not have been happier with their 16 oz Prime Rib. The steaks were cooked perfectly. I ordered just veggies and all were very good but I wished the brussel sprouts were done just a little more. I had the best after dinner coffee. It was aromatic and the taste was spot on. My son chose the cookie with ice cream for dessert which takes about 20 minutes (our waitress explained this) and it was well worth the wait! You could smell the cookie before it even hit the table. Our waitress Paula was friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. The gentleman assisting her kept our drinks filled and also made sure we had what we needed. Overall great experience. We would return again.

Thirty-Two was outstanding. It was my wife's birthday, and they decorated the table for her and gave her a sweet treat. Food was also amazing. Kyle, our server, was very friendly and definitely worth a return.

My wife and I just had the best overall dining experience we have ever had together! We celebrated our 5th anniversary at this fine establishment. Our servers Steven & Daniel were knowledgeable, provided key insights on any food we were in question of and they both were so kind and made my wife and I feel very cared for catered to! Every appetizer, salad, and entree we had was cooked to perfection and absolutely divine! We both give this restaurant the highest praise we can possibly offer. Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Mignon's Steaks & Seafood is an upscale dining option located within the Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi. Despite its casino location, it stands out as one of the top fine dining establishments in the area. The restaurant has garnered accolades from Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator magazines for its delectable menu featuring USDA prime meats and locally caught fish.
In a delightful surprise, this meal exceeded expectations on all fronts. The service was notably seamless—attentive without being intrusive, with staff working in harmony to create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The blue cheese wedge salad stood out as a refreshing take on a classic. Accented with crisp bacon bits, it broke the predictable five-star wedge, offering a well-balanced bite that was both rich and texturally satisfying. The steak was a highlight: tender, flavorful, and cooked precisely to the requested temperature Entrées arrived promptly, even on a bustling New Year’s Eve, a night when many establishments falter under pressure. Impressively, this restaurant maintained both its poise and its standards, delivering quality cuisine and impeccable service. It has quickly earned its place as our go-to steakhouse on the coast.

We had a nice dinner at Mignons. We had early dinner at 6pm on a Friday night. It was quiet and not very busy. No music or piano player, the ambiance was lacking a bit but nothing to complain about. The wine list is huge! Service was fast and really good. We had a yummy appetizer of burnt end bacon and pineapple, entrees of filet mignon and hubby had the chefs fish special of the day. All were very good.

Decided to stop in while visiting Palace Hotel and Casino, after my massage. I was greeted by one of the managers, Carla who was very pleasant. She greeted me with a smile and told me about the special of the day. It sounded good so I decided to give it a try. Wasn’t too busy only a handful of people, however I did get there before 6pm. Jason and Josh were my servers. They took my orders and kept my water cup filled. I accidentally dropped my butter knife and another manager ( I suppose) who was walking by saw and got me another one. My good also came out fast and the meat was cooked to perfection just the way I requested it. Never had I had to ask for anything as both Josh/ Jason came over multiple times to ensure everything was ok. Took the rest home and had it for lunch the next day and it was even better! Great steakhouse to visit if you haven’t been. Thank you again to all the staff for your wonderful service, you made my night.

This year we celebrated our anniversary in Biloxi instead of going to Mobile again. We had reservations for 7pm but had to change it to 7:30. The hostess was very understanding and changed our time with no hesitation. This place is phenomenal. Our server Dallas was super nice and courteous. He had another coworker that also helped and I’m sorry I don’t remember his name. The food was delicious and I loved the variety of wine selections. The ambience was so pleasant I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making our special evening even more memorable..

Customer service was awesome! -Recommend the NY strip. -Would not get the shrimp add on. Had a shrimp that wasn't cleaned. Not a whole lot of flavor. -Would not get the mushrooms again. Needed more seasoning. -Salad was either overdressed or wasn't freshly tossed.

This is my favorite steak house! The food and service is the best anywhere. The host and hostess are super welcoming and friendly. I have been to many casino steakhouses and this is by far the best one! I make it a point to visit twice yearly since I live out of state, and now bring my family here. It is now their favorite, and part of our tradition now. Love it so much! 🥰

Vestige is a relaxed restaurant in Ocean Springs, Mississippi that offers refined, seasonal New American dinners and house cocktails. The restaurant has gained popularity for its avant-garde dining experience, with a nature-inspired Asian-infused Southern menu curated by local chef Alex Perry.
This was mine and my husband’s first experience at Vestige, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The atmosphere was intimate, wait staff were so kind and knowledgeable, drinks were great, and the food….. phenomenal! Our waiter, though I don't remember his name, was so nice and great at explaining each dish. We enjoyed every course! Setting a reservation was super easy, and we were even able to be seated 10-15 minutes prior to our reserved time. Halfway through our experience, we were already discussing when our next visit will be. Thank you to all of Vestige for the outstanding experience!

I was in the Gulf area of Mississippi for work on my 50th birthday, and I was fortunate enough to have friends who wanted to take me out to dinner. I had no real opinions where we went so when we went to Vestige let me tell you I was beyond surprised and impressed. I’ve had a lot of good meals this one was a great meal. It is a tasting menu that changes with the seasons so with it being spring in Mississippi it has three flavors. In my opinion many tasting menus can be a bit disjointed and not have a flow to the dishes. That was not the case in my meal at Vestige it started and each dish kept building and building with different flavors and textures. One friend had an allergy that required some of the dishes to be altered to support them. Vestige did that without any issues or problems. What is even more impressed we called for reservations 45 minutes before we ate and they were able to alter the dishes. That shows the level of skill and attention to detail in my opinion. I also want to call out the service as well. The two waiters did an amazing job they acted as a team and provided excellent service with just the right amount of touch without being heavy handed in any way. If you’re going to be in the Mississippi Gulf Coast I would highly suggest Vestige and I’d definitely recommend a bit more than 45 minutes notice, but if you can get in try it and enjoy it!

Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The restaurant is small, simple, and stunning, with a staff that was flawless—kind, professional, and perfectly attentive without ever missing a beat. The tasting menu was nothing short of spectacular. Each course kept building on the last, with flavors that were bold, balanced, and unlike anything we’ve tasted before. The venison, paired with an incredible sauce, was unforgettable, and the Okinawa black sugar crème brûlée was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Unique ingredients we had never heard of were transformed into dishes that completely amazed us. A perfect meal in every sense—creative, delicious, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

In the world of restaurant experiences there is dining, fine dining, and then there is Vestige. The Tasting Menu takes you through appetizers, entrees, BREADS 💖, and finally desserts, all of them taking your taste buds through a workout of textures and flavors. Nothing is rushed, which is what eating should be all about. The service is exquisite. Give yourself a treat and experience what Chefs Alex and Kumi have to offer.

We were fortunate enough to grab a reservation for the Fantastic collab dinner w the dynamic duo of chefs Perry/Omori of Vestige OS and Chef Tyler of Mason! The amount of creatvity coming out of that kitchen last night was nothing short of incredible genius, delicious genius! We even got to meet Kumi Omori last night. Vestige is a true culinary experience. If you want to push your tastebuds to the edge this is the place. It will be an event you will never forget and you won’t be able to get enough. We are hooked. We are so fortunate to have Vestige in our backyard. No trips to Chicago for a culinary revolution or to New Orleans needed. Michelin Star restaurant quality! Top of the list for an amazing culinary experience.

Definitely one of a kind dining! The setting is unique and did not feel stuffy. The staff were personable and knowledgeable. Wide range of drinks. We love the Japanese influence. The first course was our favorite, the flavors were absolutely amazing. I also have to shoutout the grilled kabocha squash in the main dish, I am still dreaming about it! I was slightly disappointed in the dessert, as it was a little dry. But overall, this gem is a must try if you’re in the area!

White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge, located in Biloxi, Mississippi, is a coastal farm-to-table restaurant owned by chef Austin Sumrall. The elegant quarters of the 12,000-square-foot neoclassical mansion provide an upscale dining experience with two dining rooms, a patio, and a large lounge area. The menu features a blend of global flavors using fresh seasonal ingredients from local farmers markets.
When your somm best friend of over 30 years recommends a restaurant, you listen. Chef Sumrall is doing amazing things at this place. Everything from the drunk/cocktail program, ever-changing menu with fresh, local ingredients, to the chic interior with a view to the well-designed kitchen is evidence to mindful design and functionality. Grabbing a cocktail in the lounge while we waited for our friends to arrive was a delightful experience; it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the lounge before being seated in the main dining room. There are several rooms within the restaurant, with some being set aside for private dining and or meeting rooms. The drinks were exceptionally made. I was pleased tonsee that they have several options of barrel select and craft brand liquors. A paper airplane made with K.LUKE was one of the best cocktails I've had. The food was delicious and so fresh. Watching it be prepared on the massive custom Boos board/prep table was quite the show. The beef tartar with bone marrow and the oysters were delicious. For dinner, pompano was a great choice, but the soft shell crabs were the star: I've not had better. Dessert included a nanner pudding ice cream that was the perfect end to the meal. Making everything in house and the quality of the ingredients was noticeable. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for an exceptional evening. I can't wait to return.

Michael was the best server I’ve ever had. The entire experience was amazing. I have never written a review but this place deserves it. Another amazing meal at White Pillars!! The bone marrow and steak tartar & eggplant appetizers were out of this world! Murder point oysters were small, but just how we like them. The bone marrow burger is always fantastic but the star was the swordfish schnitzel!!!!! OMG it was so delicious. Run to get this while it’s on the menu!!!

Honestly, don't sleep on Biloxi local food. Sure, you can go to one of the casinos and spend $$$, but to get locally sourced foods with a southern take, this is the place unless you want to take a long drive. The wait stuff was great and knowledgeable. The bar cocktails are amazing.

The pianist was lovely. I went a few weeks ago, and everything was delicious. I went again tonight because I wanted to sit by the piano, and they were able to seat me next to the pianist. The food was amazing, and they boxed all my leftovers for me. I had a salad, crispy Brussels sprouts, lasagna alla vodka, and the pear galette. Everything was very fresh, and I love that everything is local. Everything was delicious, and if I wasn't leaving the state next week, I'd definitely be back soon.

The experience started out great. The seafood tower was amazing. The service was great. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. My wife’s dish was amazing. The wood fire pork chop was the downer, it had a small mountain of fat and was over cooked. I would still recommend White Pillars.

Tasty Tails Seafood House is a vibrant and lively restaurant with a fun nautical theme, offering a wide range of Cajun and Creole seafood dishes such as crawfish and gumbo. The energetic ambiance complements the generous servings of freshly prepared seafood, creating an enjoyable dining experience. Visitors can expect delicious signature dishes infused with hints of Cajun and Creole flavors.
Delicious! When you go to a restaurant you hope to experience great food, friendly staff, and having fun with the people you came with. The most important thing however is that the food is delicious. My experience lived up to this in abundance. I wanted to eat some good Cajun seafood while I was on vacation. A friend suggested this place. I ordered the Dungeness crab in garlic butter and the garlic bread. I order this combo whenever crab is on the menu and this is one of the best crab meals I've had. The crab was flavorful and just the right portion size. I love that the corn and potatoes came with the meal. When I bit into a piece of garlic bread I couldn't help but moan in delight. My family thought I was being over the top but I can safely say this was the best garlic bread I have ever had. It was garlicky, buttery, and the bread was toasted just right. I will miss this bread until I can come back again. The staff was friendly and the service was great. All in all a great dining experience.

3⭐️ Okay we tried Tasty Tails when we took a weekend trip to Biloxi. We had a long day, and had this for dinner. The food was good, just good. Nothing really memorable about it. In and there is so much seafood, you really gotta do your thang to get people to like it. There’s just so many options of seafood. I did like my dinner, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again. The service was really good for such a crowded night. But I don’t think I would recommend this restaurant.

Let me start off by saying, I’ve had plenty of viet Cajun crawfish, coming from Houston, and I’ve been on the hunt for something close to what i have in the H. I’ve tried a lot of different crawfish places since living In Mississippi, and tasty tails garlic butter crawfish reminds me of home. They have the best crawfish here in Biloxi, hands down. We got the special raw oysters with the spicy sauce on it, and it’s def one that caught me by surprise, it’s reminds me of the famous Asian “crack sauce” that I grew up on. The fish po boy my wife got was more than enough to feed 2 people, it’s fried in flour to perfection inside a big, and perfectly toasted baguette. The service we got was nothing short of amazing, the young man checked up on us multiple times, he also explained the menu to us when we had questions. They got plenty of beer and liquor for the people that want to relax and catch a drink after a hards day work. Definitely recommend everyone to give tasty tails a try.

Shrimp was delicious! The crab legs portion was VERY generous and probably the BEST crab legs I've had in a LONG time. Fried green tomatoes were thick cut and yummy (not full of grease either). Service couldn't have been better as we constantly had someone refilling it drinks without having to ask. Great atmosphere and great dining experience

I really liked this restaurant. It was nearly empty for a Thursday night. I guess people were at home watchibg football. I had the raw oysters and a fried combo of oysters and shrimp wirh a side of onion strings. My partner had a shrimp poboy with fries. I fell in love with the onion strings! I havent had them in years and this is the first restaurant I have found that serves them. They are amazing! The combo was great! The shrimp were jumbo and there were plenty of them and I believe the oysters were gulf oysters. They were fried to perfection. There is notmuch you can say about raw oysters unless they are bad and these were not! They were fresh and cold. I thorougly enjoyed them. My partner's poboy looked great. He said the bread was fresh and the shrimp were tasty. The prices were reasonable and the portions were plentiful so I would return, especially for the onion strings.

I went to tasty tails about 2 weeks ago. I went after a visit to a very famous seafood restaurant in Atlanta. The food was amazing and I can say that it was just as good as the very famous seafood place in Atlanta. The owner brought out a secret menu item for me to try that they were playing around creating for lent, it depends was great, unique & beautiful(crab roll) I sat at the bar, while the restaurant is a bit small in size it's a nice environment. The service is great the management is very personable and the blackened shrimp were amazing! I've been telling everyone about it and I cannot wait to bring my family back. I'm a big foodie & often times I'm let down when I check out recommendations but tasty tails was everything 👏👏

Never had crab legs and went there with a date that did. I ordered the shrimp and catfish seafood platter. It was fried but the it was so inoffensive that your actually tasted the catfish and shrimp. I recommend it for those that aren't into seafood. Tried the snow crab legs and it changed my world. I'm lazy so I wouldn't work for the crabmeat but the sauce and seasoning were on point. Thanks again!

We started out with a bowl of gumbo that did not disappoint. We followed up with an order of great boiled seafood. Spiciness to your taste. We had the hot boiled shrimp with the obligatory corn and potatoes. Shrimp were jumbo sized. We also tried the fried seafood platter with shrimp, oysters and catfish. It was good as well but the boiled seafood was better.

Bacchus On The Bayou is a new addition to the Nicaud Restaurant Group, located in Ocean Springs. It opened in March and is situated at the old Marina Cantina on Old Fort Bayou. The restaurant features extensive renovations with a playful water-themed interior, including hand-painted rivulets on the entryway floors and an immersive mural of an underwater reef. Customers have praised the amazing experience they had during events like rehearsal dinners, highlighting the friendly staff and exquisite food.
This is our first time visiting this establishment. The atmosphere is great. We pulled up in our jet ski and walked up and had drinks and a great meal. They are one of the few places on the water that are open on Mondays. Their service was friendly and prompt. Happy hour was 2-6. I will definitely be back to visit again. June 7th edit. We came back for our 2nd visit. Our server Angie was great and super attentive. Our 2nd trip has just added to our fondness of this place. They had live music, local vendors, and great service. Thanks again for a great experience.

I had my wedding at Bacchus on the Bayou in May and it was absolutely magical! The staff is absolutely top tier. JJ and her team are so attentive and went above and beyond for my perfect night. Chef Spoon and his team worked wonders in the kitchen. My #1 feedback from guests was how amazing the food was compared to normal catered wedding food. I mean who wouldn’t want steak, oysters and amazing apps! The view of course sold it for me but the food is definitely why we chose Bacchus. Highly recommend to anyone in the area for lunch/dinner or a wedding/corporate event!

Here in town on vacation. Looking for great views for date night. Host was gone from lobby for several minutes. We asked for a table near the water so she slowly cleaned it off. Not a friendly person for your host. Please train her better. So there we sat… for a good 10-15 minutes. No one came to our table. We got up and went to the bar and got served. Good was delicious and well priced. Got the check. Surprised to see that a side salad is a $5 up charge. You should let your guests know this ahead of time . Doesn’t say this on the menu. Extremely rude in my opinion. To end on a positive note, awesome views! Saw a beautiful sunset.

Been trying to get here since they opened, finally made it in for Lunch today. The wife had the oyster combo plate, they were all very tasty! Most of the stuff on the oysters overpowered the flavor of the oysters, but that didn't make them any less tasty. I had the Croque Madame because I have had a craving going for a while now. I know it's silly to get a sandwich at a seafood joint but did I mention craving? The bun was a bit disappointing, but the rest of it was good. It was all good and the service was good too. Nothing spectacular, but good enough to recommend to others. When you go you will enjoy it. If you go when the weather is nice you can sit outside and really enjoy the view.

We were on vacation and decided to go here for lunch. It's a cute restaurant with a nice water view. The parking lot is fairly large and it's easy to find. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We sat inside. Our server came fairly fast and took our drink order. They have a pretty decent menu with plenty of options. My husband ordered the oyster sampler platter, and he really enjoyed it. I decided to order a wedge salad, because I love a good wegde salad. And this wasn't it. I was pretty disappointed. It definitely wasn't a wedge and the dressing was very sweet. No blue cheese crumbles. I don't recommend ordering it. I would still recommend this place, but I should have ordered seafood or a sandwich. I forgot to mention...the jalapeno bombers we got as an appetizer were very good. Oh well.

McElroy's on the Bayou is a charming waterfront restaurant offering Southern-inspired seafood and more in a casual diner setting with picturesque views and an outdoor patio. The restaurant was rebuilt in 2012 after being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, now boasting stunning views of Deer Island and the Gulf. It's a popular spot for boating and holiday events. Guests rave about the friendly staff, attentive service, and delectable dishes like crab-stuffed mushrooms with Cajun sauce and broiled flounder.
First time to eat here for lunch on a perfect day. All the staff were super friendly and our server was so attentive and helpful. She was perfect in how she knew when to stop by and check on us and how to make sure everything was exactly to our satisfaction. My wife and I had the crab stuffed mushrooms with Cajun sauce as an appetizer and broiled flounder as the entree'. I have never had such an awesome appetizer as the stuffed mushrooms; I could have eaten just that for lunch! The flounder was fresh, as though it was caught that morning and the seasoning and broiling was something, that no one can compete with. For one of my side dishes to go with the baked potato, I had a cup of Gumbo. Our server said it was the closest she has ever had to her grandmothers and believe me, it tasted like some grandmother had made it with love! It was in such a light red roux and seasoned just right with enough spicy-heat that I have to put it in competition with any of the gumbos that I've had in New Orleans. My wife had a frozen strawberry Margarita, which was one of the best we have ever tried. It was sweet from sweet strawberries and had no artificial flavor. They blended it perfectly with super fine beads of ice and I had a perfect Old Fashioned mixed precisely. I think five stars is too few for this place!

This is definitely a must. Put it in the gps and go!!!!!!

Pretty great breakfast spot right on the water. Came in the middle of peak hours on a Sunday morning and was able to sit a large group right away. Food was pretty good too; recommend the shrimp and grit cake, but ask for an additional grit cake. There's an over abundance of sauce with the shrimp you don't want to miss soaking up.

This was my first time eating seafood that was super fresh and I must admit this place did not disappoint. The staff were very nice and very helpful. Our server is actually the one that recommended the crab cakes blackened and not fried. OMG it was delicious!!!

Had a good time. Service was good, food was excellent and the view was exceptional. There only critique is they bring out a bowl of butter when your seated and no bread. We asked and were told it was for the crackers. A little bread or even a hush puppy would have been good. Other than that place was great.

Very good food. A little greasy on the shrimp but good flavor! Great quality crabs also. The portion sizes are very reasonable for the price and overall I give it 4/5. I will return to one of the locations

Located at 110 Lameuse St. in downtown Biloxi, Catch 110 is the latest venture from the owners of Half Shell Oyster House and The Rack House. After a year of renovations, this upscale steak and seafood restaurant is set to open in the fall. With a focus on high-quality steaks and fresh seafood from a live lobster tank, Catch 110 promises to be a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and lovers of Mississippi's renowned seafood cuisine.
David took great care of us, and we really enjoyed the food. Calamari appetizer, snow crab, filet, crab cake, seafood pasta, great dessert brownie, and the drinks were all fantastic. It's probably the most enjoyable meal I've had on the coast, and all of my guests agreed that they had a new favorite restaurant.

6/15/25 Visited this restaurant after reading the prior reviews. Nice looking restaurant and appeared well maintained. Tried the pork belly appetizer which was juicy with the top portion having a light smoke flavor - the pecan glaze was not bad at all. My steak did come out hot and cooked to temperature but really lacked any type of seasoning at all. I accompanied that steak with boiled potatoes and corn which did taste fair. Biscuits were great. Ordered the seafood pasta and the presentation of it was excellent but also lacked any type of flavor / seasoning. The server brought some water that was hot ( no coolness or chilled) and I asked for a cup of ice. That ice disappeared very quickly in that glass of water. The Ceasars salad was great and no issues with it. It did take my server a long time to come refill my drinks and waited awhile for her to return to pay. The complimentary cotton candy was great. I will have to give this restaurant another try to see if this was just a bad day.

The restaurants decor is very appropriate for the Gulf Coast location. Inside the restaurant feels is open airy with a pictureisque view outside the windows. The staff is very friendly, professional, and they also dressed apart. The food, which was my appetizer and main dish was very tasty, hot fresh, and the quantity did not leave you hungry when you finished your meal. I recommend catch 110 and I would return in a heartbeat!

Let me start by saying Felicia our server was simply amazing along with the staff. I noticed they had all A's on their health inspection. The food was absolutely amazing along with the atmosphere.. Nice casual dining experience adult friendly.. Also their management team is always walking the floor checking on customers making sure they are okay.

Good food. Nice place. Alice was awesome. The cotton candy at the end of the meal was a surprise. Blackened Mahi was good and the wedge salad with extra blue cheese crumbles was a meal by itself. And dont forget to try the biscuits. Amazing.

Fantastic seafood spot in Biloxi! Taylor our serve did a wonderful job celebrating my sister’s birthday. She even comped my mom’s crab meal that was missing a few legs. A definite spot to check out for a nice meal. Don’t forget to imbibe on one of their champagne bongs!

I loved having dinner at Catch 110 in Biloxi Mississipi with friends because it was such a nice restaurant, with an aquarium inside and I love aquariums, and they gave us a special treat at the end which was a cool surprise. The server was very nice and kind and fast. The food was delicious! They served us fresh spring water from a glass water bottle.

The crab cake was delicious! The filet was underwhelming with the crab topper. The balcony was nice and quiet. Service was great also.
