Caribbean restaurant
Sisserou's Caribbean Restaurant & Catering in Tulsa offers a unique dining experience with its stylish and contemporary setting, valet parking, and a menu that features a variety of dishes from all over the Caribbean. Named after the national bird of Dominica, the Sisserou Parrot, this restaurant pays homage to the rich culinary traditions of the region.
Before going to a concert at the Cains Ballroom, we stopped in to get dinner. We were greeted by a friendly staff and quickly seated. They have a great drink menu and the best squash soup. I had shrimp, and my sister had grilled red snapper topped with a delicious sevech. The food presentation was magnificent.

Great spot to grab a bit of the Caribbean. Portions were fair sized, tasted so good and the service was fantastic. The server and manager were kind, and knowledgeable about their menu. The prices are reasonable and offer a wide variety. The only complaint i can even think of really is the parking. Downtown Tulsa, its to be expected. You definitely have to try the plantains.
Hailey R — Google review
Had lunch with family from out of town. They hadn’t been to downtown Tulsa since its renovation of restaurants and other businesses. Taking them to Caribbean themed restaurant was nice. The food was tasty we all had Jerk chicken & waffles, pork sandwich, hamburger and fried shrimp. Our server gave us incredible service and we had left very happy.

Was in town for a wedding and found this place. It was awesome. The food was great and so was the staff and the drinks. I frequently travel to Jamaica so I am always looking for carribean style food. The beef patties and ox tail were good. Also loved the rice and peas. I am pickky about them and they were great!!

Exemplary! Do not sleep on the Doubles - that is one of THE best foods I've ever eaten, even after touring Texas' best. If you like sweet, flavored "rums" but want to find something without the artificial ingredients, take a tip from the owner and try out Black Tot blended rum! Rah was an excellent and fashionable waitress! Like The Hemingway, everything was made with quality ingredients and authentic enough to delight our CEO guest. An instant Favorite! ❤️
Roger C — Google review
The food was delicious! The steak was tender, grilled shrimp flavorful, the yam potao mash was so smooth and creamy.. The grilled veggies were good but needed salt and another 2 minutes on the grill. The place was clean and the staff and management are phenomenal! It was a fantastic dinner! Ps.. Yes, yes yes to the bread with butter and habanero sauce! Mmmmmmmm
Barbara B — Google review
As a Jamaican, this place is fully certified in my books! It’s not a Jamaican restaurant but they represent the caribbean very well! The food was amazing from apps to the last bite of my main. Portions are great. The waiter was great, made sure i was well informed and taken care of. Shout out to David! The atmosphere was also impressive, it was not busy the night i went but the music was right, it felt like a nice likkle island vibes. Will definitely be back to try more in the menu!
Rio — Google review
Everything is right about this restaurant. It’s a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Every employee is well trained, and inviting and kind. The food is perfectly prepared. The butternut soup came out piping hot and creamy delicious. I’ve had several poorly made Cuban sandwiches in the last year. Not here - this is made like a real Cuban sandwiches.

Buffet restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in a strip mall, Nelson's Buffeteria has been a beloved Tulsa institution since 1929, renowned for its hearty buffet-style offerings. This unpretentious eatery specializes in hand-breaded chicken-fried steak, which is tenderized and prepared fresh each day. Guests can indulge in classic comfort food sides like creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, fried okra, and rich mac & cheese. The restaurant’s legacy includes famous meringue pies that are simply irresistible.
Just like in school, you walk up to the serving line and tell them what you want, they make your plate, you take it to your seat and enjoy a fantastic meal. The menu varies by day, but has a staple of select comfort food that is served daily. The food is well prepared, we had the chicken fried chicken and baked spaghetti. The CFC was hand breaded and seasoned well and the baked spaghetti was as good as any fancy restaurant. The staff was friendly. I would highly recommend it.
Spencer K — Google review
We showed up at the 1230 lunch rush, so it was extremely busy. We had to wait for the chicken fried steak to be cooked. They finally brought out the catfish, but there was no baked cod. The macaroni and cheese tasted plastic. The brown gravy was not edible. The chicken fried steak and the catfish batter would not stay on. The cabbage and green beans was good. The coleslaw was a little different, wasn’t bad but had lots of bell pepper in it. The pies were really good considering the meringue had flattened out. Would I go back? No, if someone was paying to go, yes.
Karrie N — Google review
Everyone where I work goes on about how great this place is. So we ordered lunch from there one day as a pick up order. I got the baked chicken with dressing and gravy, mac & cheese baked beans and a roll. I was not impressed and I probably will not return.
L C — Google review
A true diner/cafeteria style restaurant! Delicious food and super sweet people running this joint. Two of us had breakfast off the menu and the other two waited till 10:30 when cafeteria style lunch was served. Everything that we had was like it was from grandmas kitchen. Dad said he wants to eat there every day 😳
Krista W — Google review
One shouldn't get so excited about hot food arriving at the table. I mean, aren't you at a restaurant ordering food, and it is being cooked for you? Sadly, though, it seems that hot food has become an outlier. At least lately. But, this is not the case at Nelson's; the food was too hot to dive into! And what food it was! Not that crepe-like folded-over omelet with whatever meat, cheese, or veggie is tossed in, no. This omelet was fluffy, and its innards (meats, veg, cheese!) were distributed throughout and well-cooked. (Another anomaly in the breakfast industry) The hash browns were not cooked to a crackly crunch, but browned and tasty. And the biscuit and gravy: has my gran been reincarnated and come to work in Nelson's kitchen? I'd return to Tulsa just for those biscuits and gravy. Okay, yes, it's good. The coffee, too. The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is laid back. Go, enjoy!

Excellent food. Greeted warmly as I walked in. Service all friendly. I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans and a roll. Everything was excellent.
James M — Google review
OMG, hands down the BEST chicken fried steak I have ever had, and I have eaten a LOT! My dad asked if it was tender and the waitress didn't think so, so dad didn't get it, but the steak itself absolutely is!! The breading was crispy but still easy for my dad to eat. The meat must be marinated, i have never had any with so much flavor. I gave dad half of mine and missed it but still had plenty to eat because it was a huge portion! The biscuits were scrumptious and the gravy had so much flavor!! We will definitely be back. So sad I didn't know this place was here long ago!!
Cyndi S — Google review
Food & service was very good. Very friendly atmosphere. The owner visited every table! She's ground d 87 years old ( I think she said ) & very active. A very inspirational lady & many members of her family work there. I hope to go again soon. They use fresh ingredients.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant
Wild Fork is an upscale restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a stylish dining room adorned with art, as well as an outdoor patio. The menu includes delectable dishes such as the chicken-fried steak, prepared with a special process that results in a crispy crust and served with a light and flavorful cream gravy. The spacious patio overlooks Utica Square's courtyard, providing an ideal setting for both lively celebrations and tranquil moments.
Enjoyed breakfast in this charming option at Utica Square! It was very cold the day we visited, so outdoor seating wasn’t an option- but it looks like a great place to eat outside. The menu options include a nice variety of everyday breakfast items along with higher end choices. I had the brioche French toast, which was perfectly cooked and wonderfully paired with fresh berries! The drip coffee had a good robust flavor. Our waitress did a great job, even with the restaurant completely full, we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I would definitely come back again!
Krista H — Google review
Each time we come the food is wonderful but today we had an especially great experience with the service staff! We found a small hair in one dish and the staff was extremely professional about replacing the entire dish. The manager came to check on us several times and we felt like we were treated very well. Zach was super attentive and we felt respected by the whole staff! A+ customer service!
Kate P — Google review
Tried the corn tortilla stack and it was really good! Lots of great complementing flavors and the tomatoes were sweet and juicy and that’s coming from the local tomato hater. My partner tried an omelet and he said it was just okay— not a lot of fixings inside, mostly just egg, but the potatoes that it came with were to die for. I nearly cleaned his plate of them. The outside seating is cute, but I feel bad for the wait staff because there’s no easy way for them to open the doors with plates in their hands. Wish they had more coffee options, but this place seems more like a boozy brunch spot rather than a casual coffee brunch spot, if that’s your jam. We didn’t sit inside, but it look super cute!
Sofie — Google review
Charming surroundings/great food & service. Atmosphere on the patio is nice. Strangely, I love the wallpaper but I must not be alone because they give you a postcard of it with your check (which I quickly commandeered). Very good experience.
Triumph C — Google review
The customer service here is horrible. Two weeks ago, I came in on a Saturday for both breakfast and dinner I spent a total of $70 in this restaurant that day.. During breakfast, I showed the waitress a picture of what I wanted and requested everything on that plate. However, she forgot to bring me my cheesy grits. I sat at the bar, and the staff asked me to move down so other customers could sit, even though I was already eating my food. It felt rude to request that I move while I was eating. When I returned for dinner, I was under the impression that their computer system was down. However, it turned out that the issue was with the food processing system, which meant they couldn’t prepare meat. I simply wanted a Cobb salad, and for nearly two hours, I was left waiting when I could have ordered the salad since it’s a cold dish. The waitress had me sitting there without any updates. To pass the time, I ordered a drink, even though I didn’t really want one. When my salad finally came, it was not prepared correctly. Overall, their service needs work

We were so glad to see Utica Square filled with people. Lunch at Wild Fork was delightful. A busy place with lots of activity, but we found a little bubble of calm. I had the corn tortilla stack. It's a bit difficult to eat as it falls apart, but delicious and filling. My husband ate every bit of the steak and eggs. The only humbug was our friend's request for dry toast first was lost, then came buttered. All was corrected easily.
Annette F — Google review
Zach is the most underrated server hes so sweet and tends to every request so politely. He refills drinks graciously checks on you every few minutes and is just so sweet. He's one of the reasons we keep coming back. The food always comes out perfect and it tastes great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a casual meal but such a pretty place to eat at.
Jamie — Google review
Nick gave us excellent service throughout our visit. The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the pimento cheese shrimp & grits. It was a very different dish from what I am used to & had great, fresh flavors & was not over-seasoned, taking away from the dish. My wife had the brioche French toast with strawberries & blueberries which were supposed to be masserated, but we're not, leading to the dish being too dry for her to enjoy. Upon request, Nick asked the chef for a solution, but found none. That was disappointing, therefore the lower score. Nice restaurant. We will try another time & another menu. Would recommend.

Brunch restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Brady Arts District, The Tavern is a charming neighborhood pub that perfectly blends a relaxed atmosphere with an upscale dining experience. This inviting spot specializes in New American cuisine, showcasing locally-sourced ingredients and innovative flavor pairings. Diners can indulge in elevated comfort food classics like mac and cheese or fried chicken, alongside more refined dishes such as seared salmon and cauliflower Bolognese.
This feels like a very high-end restaurant, and some of the meals are, but there are also reasonable ones. It was about $30 per person, but it could be $50+ no problem. The food was awesome, and I found Double Shot Coffee because of this place. I would've never expected such great tasting coffee at a tavern. The service was great, and the waiter had my same name! I highly suggest going for a laid-back nice restaurant.
Shane C — Google review
It was just okay. I wouldn't spend the money or make reservations again for the food. It was good, my partner didn't like the food. The server was nice but couldn't hear us and spoke softly. Then halfway through the meal, they dimmed the lights but it was so dark one table had to use the lights on their phones just to read the menu and decided to leave. We finished only because we had already ordered. The spicy bloody mary was delicious!
Kelly R — Google review
Really awesome spot to relax and be cozy! Loved everything about the vibe, service etc. just felt like the quality of the fries/sides should have been better. Burger was great but for the type of place it was we were expecting a little more. Not saying it was bad at all! The food was delicious. The fries tasted normal though.
Dillian F — Google review
We enjoyed our meal and drinks at The Tavern in downtown Tulsa. Strip steak and fries for two was cooked perfectly. We were welcomed right before closing and not rushed at all. I did tell our host that we eat fast and tip well. I’m glad we stopped for dinner at the Tavern. Great experience.
Mike M — Google review
The Pork Chop was tender and well seasoned, though I thought the portion of the dish could have been bigger. The Korean BBQ sauce lacked the Korean taste (rice wine vinegar and prominent Korean chili paste). The creme brulee was good though not a personal favorite. I love ordering pork chops when I dine out; this was a good dish but I think I'll request a different starch to fill me up the next time I visit The Tavern. I sat at the bar on a Saturday evening where I was greeted immediately and had good service.
Anthony H — Google review
So, I’ve eaten a lotta crème brûlées in my life. When I see one I’ve never had, I do my best to eat it. So today The Tavern’s Biscoff Crème Brûlée showed up on my instagram feed, and I knew I had to go try it. Deadass this might be the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. I mean, it’s good enough I immediately said “I’ve gotta leave a review, this is THAT good.” So yeah, come to The Tavern and eat the Biscoff Crème Brûlée with the ridiculously delicious cookie butter whipped cream topping.
Ricky M — Google review
I’ve always considered this place a Tulsa staple, but hadn’t been in a few years. My food was delicious. I had the deviled eggs and the tavern burger. My burger was cooked well done instead of medium, but it was so good that I didn’t mind. My partner felt that they could use a change of fryer oil, but otherwise enjoyed his meal. The atmosphere and presentation were great. It’s a little pricey, but we expected that since it’s a nice environment with quality ingredients. I took a few points off of service because I felt that the servers were giving better service to the obvious rich people in the room, like we weren’t as good as them. The manager did not treat us that way. Overall I enjoyed my experience because the food and atmosphere were so great.
M — Google review
Very comfortable, relaxing restaurant with excellent food and service. In an old building, with a classy decor inside that makes for a great dining atmosphere. We were there right after the lunch crowd had cleared. Food and service were excellent. The turkey sandwich and the fish and chips were delicious. The turkey sandwich was enormous. The shoestring fries (their signature side) were perfect. When I walked out I was full, happy and relaxed. I was really surprised; I didn't expect such great food and service from a place called "The Tavern."

A friend recommended me this place and I'm very glad I got to experience it! Came to catch up with a friend--I'm visiting from out of town and the food I thought was delightful! Loved the eggs benny, the way the hollandaise sauce, warm egg yolk, and seasoned potatoes UGH so good. I also had a pancake and that hit the spot. Loved my time. I completely forgot to leave a tip on my card I'm so sorry!!! I'll be sure to come back some day and make it right!
Thiện N — Google review
These people provided the worst experience ever. The food was bad and the service was worse. The owner was extremely rude, flipping me off and telling me to get out and never come back. This happened because I refused to pay the 20% tip they automatically added to my ticket. The server became aggressive, telling me to take it up with the owner. When I did, I explained that I was willing to tip, but the service didn’t warrant $12. The owner got upset, yelling at me in front of others and telling me not to come back. As I left with my wife and daughter, he started yelling at them because my wife went to pay anyway out of kindness. Through the window, I saw him yelling and waving his arms at my family. I would never take my family there again.
Michael S — Google review
We have been many times, the food is consistently very good. Kudos to the kitchen staff!! This visit, the wait staff never checked on us, never refilled our drinks or checked to see if we needed anything. When we checked out, we had to go to the register because our server never brought our ticket. They handed us a 50 something dollar tab with no breakdown (2 meals, coffee, tea & a mimosa). I questioned the amount and the person at the register slammed down the itemized ticket in front of us. Our bill was correct, however, a 20% gratuity was added. I’m always happy to pay more than a 20% gratuity when it is earned. I would have gladly given the kitchen staff all of the gratuity however, our server was one of the worst we have ever had. What really makes me angry is there was a tip line on the credit card receipt we received to add another tip!! I’m sure many people add an additional 20% gratuity on top their receipt because they don’t know what this business is trying to pull. This is disgraceful in my opinion!
Sharon B — Google review
The service was subpar for being charge a 20% gratuity. It would have been nice to be informed that gratuity was included, I did not see it in the menu or we would have left. Adding gratuity to any check is absurd as it doesn’t promote a good wait staff. Our waitress fill a large carafe of water and didn’t fill waters or refill the carafe throughout the meal. The prices are very high for the quality and amount of food. We had a 14 month old, 6 year old, 9 year old and three adults. The baby and 6 year old shared a stack of pancakes, two adults shared an omelet, 9 year old had an omelet and 1 adult had a burrito and it was $73.64.
Justin V — Google review
I'm suspicious when I see a nice restaurant in a nice location charging an automatic tip. It makes me wonder what's going on that they aren't normally getting tips. Now I know. The food was fine and about the same price as other area diners. It was approx. 9 dollars for 1 egg, toast, and what looked like mcdonald's hash browns. The service was inattentive. He took our order, brought our food, and brought our check. He never checked to see if we needed anything or refilled drinks. It was just super basic service and he seemed very rushed, although we went mid morning on a weekday when it wasn't busy. It was OK, but I'll probably go someplace else next time.
Lisa B — Google review
I was charged ala carte for items included in a breakfast that I ordered because I asked to "cut" the egg due to an allergy. The owner said I couldn't "cut" the egg from the meal, even though that is not stated anywhere nor did the wait person mention it. When I went to correct this "error" or this purposeful over charge, the owner and I argued over the bill and he told me to "get the hell out" and that I could not eat there anymore. There are so many wonderful places to eat breakfast in Tulsa. Please don't waste your time and money going here. Also, in small letters at the top of the daily special chalkboard, it says a 20% gratuity is now added to ALL dine-in meals. This, too, is another inconspicuous way to over charge patrons who most likely won't notice this and leave a tip.
Lenora G — Google review
Really chill atmosphere, I enjoyed the breakfast food and ambiance of the place. Lots of decor! And my favorite part, space and rooms to choose from. You could sit anywhere you’d like inside or outside and enjoy a great meal. Staff is kind and patient, always appreciated. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars are the prices. Besides that or if that isn’t a factor for you, this place is great!
Angel M — Google review
To note: - 20% gratuity for dine-in - parking in the back Came here for breakfast one Saturday morning. They were fairly busy, but my friend and I were seated right away. Got pancakes, eggs and sausage links with biscuits and gravy, and coffee. I’m personally not particularly fond of the pancakes they served; they would soak up a lot of syrup and would fall apart rather easily. Eggs were a little oily/greasy. The biscuit and gravy was ok. Service was great! Despite how busy it was, a waiter had my coffee refilled and the waitress who brought out our food checked in with us to make sure if we needed anything else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lone Wolf is hands down one of the best spots to eat in Tulsa. The flavors are bold, creative, and always hit the mark. Whether you’re going for the bánh mì, kimchi fries, or one of their rotating specials, you can’t go wrong. The ingredients are fresh, the vibe is cool, and everything feels thoughtfully made. A must-visit every time I’m in town.

Highly recommend for lunch spot in downtown Tulsa. The soft serve is legit but should be shared 😉
Manohar P — Google review
It was a short walk from my house. I was excited to try the kimchi French fries. The prices are a bit high for ultimately two sides and two sodas but overall it was good. What I would change to elevate the dish would be home fried potatoes and use more kimchi that is not so finely shredded. While good the bagged fries the sauce and the pickles overpowered the taste of the kimchi. I got more of a fry experience with sides and my wife got more of the kimchi experience. In comparing notes we agreed the choice of sauces changes the experience. With prices from 1.50 to 6 bucks for add ons the variety is endless. Will visit again.

This is always a solid place to go for good food. We ordered the fried chicken rice bowl, garlic shrimp Bahn mi and kimchi fries but everything is good.
Chetana C — Google review
Good food and fair prices. I had the kung pao pork banh mi sandwich. The baguette was good quality and the flavors of the meat were great. Didn’t eat in, did online delivery- so service rating is unknown, but the quality of the food likely would resemble their service. I would go back again when back in town

So this is my first time trying Banh Mi. I got the pork Banh Mi with the Cinnamon sugar wonton chips. The Banh Mi was light and airy, and the pork was tender. My only complaint is that I wish the bun was steamed. The Kimchi fries were amazing and I highly recommend them. The kimchi is full of robust flavors and the fries are crispy (my favorite). I know some people prefer them a little softer but not me. Overall, my experience was great. Staff was friendly and food came out fast. Thank you for my first Banh Mi experience.

Tried the kim chi fries, and then the shrimp fried rice. Fries were MID. Fried rice was just white rice that was brown colored. Also MID. Only had 4 pieces of shrimp. Some dude dressed as a chick making the food. Mask wearer taking orders didnt give comfort. The deadliest sin of-pride flag in the window. Soft serve icecream, also mid. And my stomach is telling me that this restaurant was a bad idea just 10 minutes after eating.

Cherry Street Kitchen and Catering is a lively cafe located in downtown Tulsa, known for its homestyle breakfast and lunch offerings. The menu features a variety of savory and sweet items prepared by owner Jen Lindsay, who brings a gourmet flair to traditional dishes. Popular options include the Cheech burger with a half-pound patty, blue cheese butter, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and booh yah sauce on a brioche bun.
A great little brunch spot. Hometown quality with downtown convenience. You can tell the food is good because the place is mostly full for brunch, but the wait was only a few minutes. Had the special of French toast with eggs to order and bacon or sausage. They've got a bar and soft drinks.

First time i have been to this location since they moved off cherry street. This is a nice big location especially downtown. Cute decor and decorated inside. We tried the 50 shades of gravy (biscuits and gravy) and Fred’s fried chicken N french toast, a nice play on chicken and waffles. This was the best dish of the day by far. The chicken was fresh and hot, the sourdough french toast was also just as amazing with syrup and strawberries on top. The biscuits were good but not made fresh on this day, but the gravy was good. This would have been a 10 is biscuits were fresh made daily. The food is good, but a little pricey compared to other like places in town.

I can't praise Cherry Street Kitchen and Catering enough. I was in a difficult spot, needing a last-minute catering order for about 25 people. From my initial call, they were incredibly accommodating and worked hard to fulfill my requested order despite the short notice. Their exceptional customer service truly stood out. They had a last-minute cancellation and immediately contacted me, letting me know that more options were now available for my order. This proactive communication was a great start to an already positive experience. Not only did they execute everything perfectly, but they also went above and beyond by including free extras, which was a lovely surprise. The presentation of the food was beautiful; it was clear they put significant care and effort into every detail. Most importantly, the food itself was delicious. Every dish was flavorful and fresh, and my guests spoke highly of it. The entire team at Cherry Street Kitchen and Catering provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. They transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and truly enjoyable event. If you're looking for excellent food, appealing presentation, and a team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Cherry Street Kitchen and Catering. They are simply the best.

We stopped by before our flight, and honestly, I didn’t think I was in the mood for breakfast—but I clearly lied to myself because this place was delicious! The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the grapefruit juice. It was a little room temperature, but I think that’s because it was freshly made...so not a big deal. I ordered the turkey BLT on their cherry wheat bread and OMG!!! hands down the BEST I’ve had in ages! I also got the Pearmopolitan (yep, a pear cosmopolitan), and I definitely recommend it. My husband got the breakfast bowl, which he loved, and the adult cherry limemade... which was to die for. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re near the airport and want something tasty before takeoff!

Great breakfast spot! I ordered the French toast, a side of their pork shoulder bacon, and a scrambled egg and everything was amazing! Also, they give real Maple syrup which is a must for a good breakfast place. Atmosphere and decorations were cool. And everyone working was very friendly. Will definitely be back if I'm back in town.

Children's book store
Barnes & Noble is a well-known bookseller chain that offers a wide range of titles for both adults and kids, along with its own eReader. It's a great place to find physical copies of books, especially if you're a fan of the Expanse series or prefer the smell and feel of actual pages. Additionally, some Barnes & Noble locations feature a Starbucks cafe, making it an ideal spot to grab a drink and snack while getting work done or waiting out a storm.
I am glad there are book stores in the community and would hate to see them go. We come every now and then to get a good book or my aviation magazine Airways magazine. It's such a plus to have Starbucks coffee onsite! Hope you never go out of business

Wonderful selection, really it doesn't matter what category you choose if its a book Barn's & Nobel carry its going to be a good book highly recommended! They also carry unique kids toys and this and that odd ball collectors items that can make wonderful gifts for different occasions. 💯

The store policies must include walk-by book recommendations and positive reacts to what you have in your hands. It was off-putting the first time it happened. I go in already knowing what I'm grabbing so I'm not usually wanting the social reacts. But this definitely works for people who like that style of customer service.
Jo L — Google review
Too big by half. Despite being able to find nearly any book, game, magazine or music I'm interested in, the place is dauntingly crowded with so many choices that I become nearly dizzy. I do like the cafe with its groups of game players, couples bent over a shared article, individuals enjoying expertly brewed and finely served coffee. I also like the ubiquitous staffer pausing to ask whether I need help finding anything and the central information desk where those few obscure titles not in stock, like Hagel's Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences or Stieglitz's Camera Work, can be ordered for delivery next week. Still I prefer the smaller intimate book shop around the corner where I can chat with moonlighting librarians between fetching my emails.
David S — Google review
We went here to look for some vinyl records that were supposed to be in stock. Over half of the albums weren't there, and the ones that were there weren't marked with the correct price. Also, there is never anyone around to ask for help. Every time I've been here, there are people angrily waiting at the unmanned help desk. The stores are always clean, and the staff is always friendly.

Chicken restaurant
Red Light Chicken is a no-frills eatery that focuses on serving up delicious, golden-brown fried chicken. The menu is simple, offering chicken on the bone or as boneless tenders, which can be enjoyed in sandwiches or salads. The restaurant provides covered seating and even allows dogs. Customers praise the tasty spicy chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with white gravy, and the happy hour drinks.
Wife and I stopped by here to give them a try. The sides were excellent. The spicy chicken sandwich may just be the best I have had in town. Rolls are great and the mac & cheese is one of the best we have had out dinning. Highly recommend stopping here, the sides are amazing alone!
Chris S — Google review
We had a fantastic meal at Red Light Chicken in Tulsa. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned—especially the spicy tenders, which had a welcome kick. The sides were solid (mac & cheese was creamy, rolls were buttery and good), and service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and fun, with enough charm to make it more than just a fast-food stop. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The restrooms were spotless.

TBH I had some Korean fried chicken that I couldn’t stop thinking about (in Okc) but today is my Tulsa run so I just looked for spicy chicken and oh. My. Goodness. The beautiful and kind young lady that helped me was precious (big eyes, very pretty, wish I had gotten her name) helped me with my order and I really thought that 2 tenders would not be enough. I was wrong. They were giant, I got 2 spicy ones with fries and the fries were so yummy , and the chicken IS hot but not habanero ruin it hot (although they have sauces that could make you cry if you want that). I just can’t wrap my mind around how yummy this chicken was. You have to wait a minute for it to come out of the fryer , unlike Popeyes which sits under a warmer …..and probably paid ABOUT the same price as fast food. I was caught off guard by this place, it was yummy and delightful. The butter for the roll came in a little hand scoop in a cup(not like the little plastic things you might get at a Panera). Worth the wait. Now my yummy Korean fried chicken place has a contender. It’s not fancy, simple digs but great service (for a counter serve) and sweet darling girl. I live in Norman but come to Tulsa every Tuesday. I’ll be back, Red Light !!

the food was amazing and fresh! the best chicken i have ever had! the rolls and butter are better than the Roadhouse in my opinion! banana pudding taste like home and hit the spot after the delicious meal!!
Leah A — Google review
I had the catfish and macaroni cheese and french fries The problem I ran into was the catfish has a thick batter on it that is seasoned, but the catfish itself was very bland. Didn’t enjoy it at all. It was really hard to actually grab a bite that had flavor on it. The mac & cheese was creamy, but it was more like a heavy whipping cream like a cheesy mac & cheese so I really didn’t enjoy it at all My wife got the chicken basket with fries. The chicken was a lot better. The seasoning was good. and it was actually the better option the french fries that she had were very good also so I encourage you if you go there to get the chicken and french fries it was a much taster option but for me what I ordered was not really good.
Joshua F — Google review
It’s this cute little joint on 11th Street in the old Route 66 district. You order from an old-school Shasta trailer, which is already a vibe, and then you get hit with some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever put in your mouth. We got the regular fried chicken and the tenders — both original and spicy — and every single bite was amazing. Lightly breaded, super flavorful, not greasy at all. Basically, if chicken had a red carpet moment, this would be it. And then the mac and cheese happened. I’m still thinking about it. Creamy, cheesy, pure comfort. I actually said out loud, “This might be the best mac and cheese of my life,” and I stand by that dramatic statement. The roll and butter? Also stupid good. Like, why is the bread this good? The place is small but had plenty of seating, super chill vibes, and honestly, I already want to go back. If you live in Tulsa or you’re just passing through, go eat here. Cancel your other dinner plans. This is the one.

I’ve ate here a couple of times, and it has always been good and consistent. The portions are big. The only downside is that it’s a fairly expensive lunch, so it would not be a frequent option for me.

Potbelly's Pub & Grill is a charming neighborhood bar that embodies the essence of a classic dive. With its straightforward menu featuring beloved flavors like BBQ and hot wings, this spot excels in delivering deliciousness without overwhelming variety. On Mondays, you can indulge in their 50-cent wing night, making it an ideal time to visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding with friends or engaging in lively conversations over drinks at reasonable prices.
This place was a ton of fun. We have a fun place like this back in Oakdale, called H-B. Potbelly's has an atmosphere that gives you that warm and welcome feeling. It makes you want to forget about time and just enjoy good company and conversation. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area. They have an old-school Iron Maiden pinball machine and a pool table. I highly recommend this place.

I ordered cheese curds and wings. The wings were big but overcooked and dry. They were okay overall. The cheese curds were the absolute worst cheese curds I have ever had. They were basically skins. There were no cheese in them at all. They ended up going in the trash. What a shame for 10 bucks. Overall I give this place 3 stars. I live in BA and hoped they would be similar to Roosters. No they aren't. I will be driving to Roosters for my wings and cheese curds.

This place is a great little hole-in-the-wall bar and grill—exactly the kind of spot you hope to stumble upon. The regulars are fantastic and really add to the welcoming atmosphere. We are down here for the Tulsa Open Bowling Tournament. Randomly chose this place. This is my kind place, local neighbor hood bar. What you see is what you get. This dive bar is Broken Arrow is now on our list to return.. The drink prices are reasonable, the food prices are better. And their food is, in my opinion, the best in the city! Smoking is allowed, but it's a bar deal with it. Personally, I don't smoke but my teammates do. So it was cool we could sit and talk and no one had to go smoke outside. Music is played a little loud off their low priced jukebox. We ordered the Smokehouse Burger $11 which in my opinion could hang with the higher price locations. Very well cooked and seasoned. I like the cream cheese mozzarella mix. Fries were crisp. Their special drink menu has some great drink names

This pizza “joint” is very basic. The pizza was forgettable. What’s sad is the salad was better than the pizza. I would recommend and handful of other places before Prairie Fire Pie. Service was great but the pizza just isn’t that great. the pizza looked like it was created by a one of my nephews or nieces. Wine selection was basic beer selection was very good. Sorry I really wanted to like it but just can’t.

Prairie fire pie - visited November 1st. Seating consists of a large wrap-around bar, several long tables and a few two seater tables. From one side of the bar you can see part of the kitchen and the pizza oven. A dozen taps (not working at time of visit), bottles, mixed drinks and wine are available. Light volume classic rock plays in the background. Good looking appetizers. pies organized on menu by sauce. Friendly staff and I was able to strike up small talk, staff was willing to recommend food. Because pizza is cooked to order, it did take a bit of time between order and serving (10-15 min) Pizza is about 16” x 10” and is served with shaved Parmesan, a jar of red pepper flakes, and house hot sauce. It is big enough to probably serve two average people. Great flavor, good crust. Hot sauce has flavor, and is not too spicy.
Rylund L — Google review
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Definitely see it being crowded on a busy night and there is not a ton of seating. Pizza was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but I will definitely come back. The menu is small but offers both red and white pizzas, which I think is great.

Nice spot for wood fired pie... I recommend the meatball pizza. If you like to sprinkle on some red pepper flakes, that's great because they serve it that way. If not, order it without. Low key ambiance and a cool bartender too. Oh yea, pizza is half price after 9pm.

Prairie Fire Pie is easily one of my favorite spots on Cherry Street. The food is consistently fantastic, the cocktails are always incredible, the selection of beers on tap and in bottles and cans are plentiful, they frequently have deals and their happy hour cannot be beat. Magoos Sports Bar And Billiards is a popular spot known for its delicious wings and great pool setup. The atmosphere is described as calm and chill, with attentive and friendly bartenders. The bar offers plenty of pool tables, foosball tables, and pinball machines, along with clean bathrooms and an ATM. While the service can be a bit inconsistent at times, the overall experience is highly recommended for anyone looking for a new bar to try.
We were traveling through Tulsa and stopped by Magoo's on 4/1/2024 to play pinball and have lunch. We had an excellent time. The food, service and pinball machines were all terrific. Magoo's is much larger than I expected. They have around 30 pool tables, 30 pinball machines, some arcade machines and even some foosball tables. Their pinball machines are in top condition. They have all the newest Stern machines and some of Jersey Jack's. We really liked the Toy Story machine. The machines were setup so that ball saves worked and that free games were awarded on final score matches. We really appreciated that. The machines take quarters. The waitress working the bar area was terrific. She was very friendly and efficient. We had a burger and onion rings, both were excellent. Had a great time and if we find ourselves back in Tulsa we will certainly stop by again.

My new favorite place I catch myself craving. I just wish they were open later than 2:00 pm. Try this place you will love it. The staff is friendly and personable too.

Restaurant
Cheever's Cafe in Oklahoma City is a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking a delightful dining experience. Known for its mouthwatering chicken fried steak, this dish features a perfectly fried piece of beef enveloped in a rich crust and topped with creamy jalapeno gravy, served alongside garlic-infused red-skinned mashed potatoes. The brunch scene here is equally impressive; guests rave about the friendly service and upscale yet comfortable atmosphere that encourages easy conversation.
We decided to try brunch at Cheevers and it was a delightful experience! Our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was upscale and comfortable and it was easy to have a nice conversation. Our food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious!! We started with the Blue Cheese potato chips and this dish was yummy! A little pesto on top really added to the flavor. The chicken fried steak offered an elevated gravy on a bed of red potatoes. The chicken and waffles were scrumptious! The waffle was crispy and flavorful and the chicken had a spicy crunch that left you wanting more! We are already planning our next visit so we can try some of their specialty drinks and their regular menu. You should definitely try this restaurant!

We had a wonderful girls’ night out with dinner and drinks. The Road to Hana cocktail brought a delightful spicy kick, while the martini was a timeless classic. I ordered the seared salmon, cooked to perfection with a beautiful balance of flavors. My friends enjoyed the short ribs, chicken-fried steak, and roast chicken—each dish looking as good as it tasted. Of course, I couldn’t resist snapping pictures of all our plates.

Cheever’s never disappoints. The shrimp and grits were rich, creamy, and packed with flavor—Southern comfort at its finest. The chicken enchiladas were equally impressive, with just the right balance of spice and freshness. The star of the show? The Preservation cocktail. A flawless meal from start to finish.

Birthday dinner at Cheever’s was a hit! My son and hubby took me to celebrate, and it couldn’t have been better—amazing service, cozy atmosphere, and every bite was delicious. We loved the queso appetizer, and my chicken fried steak was massive (and amazing). Hubby’s pasta and my son’s shrimp & grits were also spot on. They even brought out a big slice of chocolate cake with a candle—so special! Highly recommend for any celebration.

This place has such a great atmosphere and we had a good business lunch. First time trying here but parking was a bit of a challenge at the lunch hour. To be honest we did have a few mishaps with some of our options but the Manager (Stacy) was kind and gracious and made the situation right! We tried Juan’s Queso Chihuahua - it was the consensus of the table it just wasn’t my favorite! My selection was the Turkey Club Sandwich w/fries. The sandwich was tasty and if you like a Club I would recommend. The fries definitely did not come out right and when the manager came to check on our table I did mention that they were not good. She offered to make them again or replace but I opted not to. The others at my table enjoyed the Caesar Salad, Prime Rib Sandwich & Chicken Enchilada’s. Each enjoyed their selection! We shared the desserts which were incredible! The Giant Carrot Cake is definitely a dessert for two or more! The Pecan Roasted Ice Cream Ball is an absolute must to try! Highly doubt one person will eat this after a meal so it’s a good dessert to share! You won’t be disappointed! My personal thanks to Stacy for making our dining experience better! Not sure when I’ll be back in Tulsa to try out again but I’ve got a Cheever’s right here in OKC!

We went for brunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was great. We enjoyed talking with her. They had great breakfast cocktails. We shared the banana bread and chicken fried steak. The jalapeño gravy was great. Made me wish they had biscuits and gravy on the menu!

I had an incredible experience at Cheevers. Not only was the food delicious, but our server Cate was incredibly attentive, kind, and funny! She made the experience even better. Her food recommendations were spot on and I enjoyed my shrimp and grits very much. Highly recommend!
Brianna L — Google review
Went here for brunch with friends. We ordered drinks and started with the banana bread, which was excellent. My friend ordered the Stuffed French Toast and gave it a 4/5 because the texture was more bread pudding than she likes. Another friend ordered Smoked Brisket Hash and gave it a 4/5 because the meat was juicy, and the sweet potatoes were crunchy and delicious. Paul's Big Boy got a 5/5 and comes with sour dough toast that was perfect with the mixed berry jam. I had the Cowgirl Benedict, including country potatoes, a country fried steak, and this hollandaise sauce with a slight kick. I also gave mine a 5/5. We all enjoyed their coffee, and the pineapple mimosas were great, too. We'd say overall 4.5/5 stars for the food. 5/5 for Kate, our server, who didn't miss a beat. Even brought the spoons for the coffee. What's up with that, Tulsa? Why do so many restaurants not give you a spoon when you ask for cream and sugar? Anyway, Cheever's did, and their decor is comfortable and doesn't echo or get so outrageously loud that you can't hear the conversation. The prices were comparable to other restaurants in the immediate area. Check out their online menu, and I recommend getting a reservation because no one really wants to wait for brunch.

Chicken wings restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a wing experience that tantalizes your taste buds, look no further than Rozay's Wingz. With an impressive array of flavors like honey BBQ, garlic, teriyaki, and the must-try honey hot—perfectly balancing sweet and spicy—there’s something to satisfy every craving. The wings are cooked to golden perfection with just the right amount of crispiness, complemented by equally delightful crispy fries.
Wow. Just wow. 5 stars isn’t enough. The food is absolute perfection. Wings just the right amount of golden crisp and the honey hot is out of this world. Fries were crispy but not over done. Drizzle of honey on the roll gave it just the right amount of sweet. Couldn’t eat it all because I was too busy being blown away by the shrimp and catfish I was stealing off my husband’s plate. But what was even better was the conversation. Mr. Rozay and Sam were some of the coolest people I have met in a long time. We sat and visited on the patio like we have been friends for years, enjoying friendly easy conversation about everything from children to military service and politics to marriage and laughing the whole time. Easily could have stayed til 4am just talking. We didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to come back. Please bring it to Tahlequah and Vinita Mr. Rozay!

Best wings ive had in tulsa so far! The owner is amazing and this is a highly recommended dine in spot, the environmental feels like a big city, both spots are great but the rozays downtown at the boxyard is definitely a good vibe

FRESH! Our food was cooked to order, which I'll never mind a small wait for fresh food! The gentleman was knowledgeable of his menu, his sauces, and his ingredients. He was friendly, and all about business! He showed us our food before it was bagged up, which Ive never been to a place that shows us their food before we take it. We loved what we saw, and we were happy right then and there! I highly recommend the sweet heat sauce, it's perfectly balanced! The wings were crispy too! We plan to come back soon, as well as recommending this place to our friends and family! 10/10

I must admit that I have tried the Memphis Honey Hot and I've tried Rozay's. Now, he did imply that he put a twist/spin on the recipe. I was apprehensive. I even had my S/O bring me a 10 piece Honey Hot wings back from Memphis. My son and I did a comparison and I'm happy to report that we liked Rozay's better!!!

This was my first time there; it was amazing! They were out of a few items, which was a bummer, but everything we got was amazing! They even comped one of our meals for the inconvenience but actually came through with the item before we left! I will absolutely be visiting this place again. I had seasoned chicken tenders - so frickin tasty! I can't say enough about how good the food and service was. 10/10 will absolutely visit again and again.

Best wings In town. Owner is extremely friendly and food is amazing. Onion wings are also really good.
Mark G — Google review
I came across this place on a Saturday night and it was absolutely amazing! It’s very popular so you have to be patient, but the food is very much worth the wait. I got the shrimp and catfish combo with fries and garlic Parmesan sauce. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It’s always nice to have a great late night option. Loved it!
Meredith E — Google review
I had a disappointing experience at Rozay’s Wings. I ordered two dozen chicken wings three days in advance for a celebration of life party honoring a recently deceased friend of mine. When I arrived to pick up the order, it was not ready. It took at least 15 minutes maybe 20 minutes for the order to be ready which made me late for the event. The proprietor did give me a few free wings to make up for the inconvenience but frankly the wings were just not that good. If you’re going to be in business and offer to-go orders, you need to deliver on time. I would not discourage anyone else from trying it out but frankly, I doubt I will go back.

If you're in Tulsa and craving a unique sandwich experience, the Dracula Sandwich is a must-try! This vampire-themed eatery has taken the city by storm with its creative offerings. The standout item, the "Steak Through the Heart," is reminiscent of a gourmet Philly cheesesteak but with an unexpected twist—Funyuns for that extra crunch.
So delicious! Price is fair because these sandwiches are HUGE! Cool spot downtown - we got ours to-go. Flavors are creative and SPOT ON. You can’t order a bad sandwich here. Definitely recommend. Great spot and glad they’re in Tulsa.
Zoe E — Google review
Cool place and you get your food within 10 minutes. I went here once and most likely won’t come again. If you want a good sandwich in Tulsa goto Trenchers. It’s not a big deal but they forgot our chips. The bread was soggy with what I believe was an oil. I tried the #11 and the sandwich wasn’t bad, I just don’t think that I would come back to this place again.
Max K — Google review
This is a pretty cool little place in downtown. My first time eating here and my sandwich was amazing. I had the Transylvania with the cheddar and horseradish chips. The pastrami was thick, juicy and tender. The chips were very good. I would have never put cheddar and horseradish together but they work very well. I can't wait to try out another sandwich. I will definitely be back.
Eli N — Google review
Probably best sandwiches in Tulsa. So far everything I've tried has been great. The steak through the heart is like a fancy philly cheese steak...with funyuns on it. Delicious. The Transylvania melts in your mouth. The flavors of the meat and the sauces with the breads pair perfectly. It's easy enough to get to, even with all the construction downtown right now. Can easily be a lunch stop for anyone in Midtown as well. Thankfully I work close enough that I can make this a regular spot. Prices are a little higher than a chain sandwich spot, but not by much and it's worth it to support local businesses. And the sandwiches are generously sized. Can't say enough good things about my experiences so far and I'll update as I work my way through the menu!
Charlie B — Google review
This place has good sandwiches, but I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. It was $17 for a sandwich, pickle slice and Coke. The sandwich was nice but not exceptional sandwich. Maybe I'm spoiled by the many nice sandwich shops in Tulsa; it was very tasty. The shop itself is along the same lines, nice but not exceptional. It's a standard cafe with a small parking lot and a few plastic bats hanging from the ceiling. There are fridges along the side with pie, bottled drinks and snacks for sale.
Strangers' G — Google review
Got the #8 mirrors and sunlight sandwich, a chicken tossed in Thai sauce. The flavors were great, spices were nice, and it was a wonderful experience balanced through each bite. I also got the macaroni and cheese which hit my Mac craving. Definitely would come back.
Dante C — Google review
Delicious sandwich! I highly recommend this place if you want out of the box sandwiches. I ordered the Mirrors and Sunlight sandwich which is a Korean fried chicken sandwich. It's a cool sandwich shop located in the heart of downtown! Go check it out!
Anita — Google review
Their sandwiches are incredible! I has the Sunlight and Mirrors, which is their asian fusion sandwich, and it delivered. I am for sure going back to try the rest of the menu.
