I want to share my experience with Grand Dragon Ladakh & this is a appreciation post for all the staffs of the hotel & why such a brand value that they carry with them.Due to unprecedented circumstances at Leh my Ladakh trip got cancelled on 27th August 2025 and i had to ask for a refund request by reaching out to the hotel. Quoting here Prachi & the entire team,they were so kind enough to understand the crisis & refunded the entire amount without a single word back.I promised them that I will be back when things become normal & my itinerary will be again booked with them while i visit Leh in the near future.This was a big miss for me but at the same time,I really appreciate the service & the courteous behaviour from the entire group..Keep up the great work!! Staying with Dolma and Dorje in this picture like beautiful guest house with the lush garden was wonderful. The rooms are big and clean. Hot water 24/7 and great breakfast and dinner fresh from the garden! A real pleasure, we didn’t want to leave - thank you!

A lovely place. A sweet family that runs the place quietly and peacefully. Large, spacious, clean, bright rooms with a beautiful view. The location is very quiet and a pleasant environment is a short walk from the center. Some of the tastiest organic food we've eaten comes straight from the family's organic garden. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back.

We stayed in this property from 26n to 28 june 2024 this is little off road in a lane but property is very good u will get all amenities in the hotel staff is polite and prompt manager and Laideep ready to full fill your demands food is delicious we booked dinner also. it is greatness of owner that there is no restriction in ordering dishes from menu irrespective of the price of the dish. owner (Thinley) is very down to earth You will feel good talking to him. He arranged leh ladhak tour for us. He upgraded our room also. WE HAD VERY GOOD STAY

Our experience at Gomang Boutique Hotel was exceptional. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the Reception Desk was impressively responsive, taking care of all the little things that make a big difference. The location is excellent—peaceful and quiet—with comfortable rooms and great sleep quality. The hotel features a fantastic lounge with a well-stocked library, and the modest all-day diner serves amazing vegetarian food.

Amazing host-Mr Singh, v attentive staff. Superb food in the in-house restaurant. Lovely place to sit outside and have coffee whilst taking in the mountain views. Rooms were v well appointed- even down to the coffee machines in each room. Additional heaters were provided on request. Jeeps/drivers can be booked through the hotel as well to guarantee a good experience as you travel across the state. A perfect stay!

We had a great stay at Gomang - the rooms are great, with good heating, coffee machine, round the clock hot water.. food is only veg but good and a fabulous collection of books to read. The host guided us very well on preparing for altitude sickness and also equipped us with oxygen cylinders for travel to Pangyong..

I recently went there and stayed for 5 days. Achina guesthouse is really beautiful, it is the definition of a perfect homestay. The owner was very kind and warmly welcomed us on our first day, helped us in making the perfect itinerary for next day to enjoy leh. Staff of Achina was really good and well mannered. There's a kitchen that you can use as per your convenience, It felt like a home and I would love to go there again.

Our stay in Achina Guest House was awesome. It is a very beautiful place we stayed there for 4 nights and we booked again for 1 night during our return journey. Owner and Amo were always ready to help. They all are very supportive. The kitchen facility was very good. Room was beautiful and clean. Definitely we will visit again.

Stay was really good at Achina, host was very supportive and generous, one thing I liked was the common room where all the guests can sit and have conversations if they want to, which gives the backpacker kind of feeling. And also there are books about Leh history if anyone is interested.

It was an excellent stay for all of us. The owner Geylson sir and his family were so cooperative, we were overwhelmed by their simplicity and hospitality. They have a shared kitchen which helped us in cooking our vegetarian Odia food.They have hot water ,drinking water and most importantly Wi-fi facilities for 24 hours. Leh market is at a walkable distance, it is nearer to airport also. It’s just like a home away from our own home. Thanks a lot Geylson ji for everything you did for us, we would love to stay there when we go Leh again.

Nice guest house, very close to airport and easily accessible by car located in Zorawar Fort road. The surrounding are not clean and stray dogs bark for the whole night. Sleep quality is not that great. Service is slow and food ain't that great too. Overall a reasonable stay as per the price one is paying.

The owner of the house is very good and receptive. The room has heater and has hot water facilities 24x7. It is very near to the main market in the heart of the city. The owners helped a lot with planning our onwards trip to Nubra and Pangong

We visited Ladakh during June-July 24. Enjoyed our stay at Mentokling Guest house and also the planned tour with Mr. Sonamji. The guest house rooms are spacious, near the main market and they serve delicious food. Staff is very cooperative. Mr. Sonam is excellent in whatever he does. He is having deep knowledge about local culture, history, places to visit, good command over language in addition to his helping nature. He makes you feel like at home. We enjoyed his company during our seven days tour of Ladakh. At different places, he has made comfortable arrangements that made our tour memorable. I recommend his guest house and his services to potential visitors.

This was a surprise find for us... We stayed only for a day but this place offers great value for money.. Located just opposite to morivian church, the accessibility to this hotel is amazing. They provide hot water 24/7, is very clean n the owner n staff are very courteous. All at a very competitive price.. Amazing experience

We are a family of five from Spain and came to discover Ladakh. This homestay was recommended to us and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and always mindful of our needs. The rooms are very spacious and bright, with spectacular views. Perfect location right in the center of Leh, yet very peaceful. They have a lovely garden restaurant with delicious and varied food. We highly recommend the momos, garlic soup, pad thai, and their breakfasts. The owners are very kind and caring, making sure we were comfortable and helping us adjust to the change in altitude. We are really happy with our stay!

The hotel is in a prime location which is nearby the main market and also has several travel agencies right next to it, we didn't try those but it is a plus. The rooms are quite spacious and have multiple windows where you can enjoy the views from multiple sides. Their restaurant area is very pretty but it was unfortunately not open as there was very low occupancy due to being the very start of the season. The only downside is that there is no electric blanket and also the room heater is chargeable unlike other hotels in the area.

Great Guesthouse in the middle of Leh only a few minutes walk from the city centre with spacious and clean rooms. Appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. Bishal and his team are great and happy to help with any questions or concerns.

I had a great stay at the Mentokling Guest House. The rooms were absolutely fine and it is located super close to the Leh Market and everything else. Especially the staff working there were really nice, caring and helpful.

Stayed here during my last trip to Leh with my friends. What a property. Beautiful location. Amazing garden. Stunning views. The hosts are so lovely and warm. Any time I felt tired and wanted something refreshing, I could walk into the kitchen and ask aunty for a warm mint tea. There are a lot of lovely places to eat at Leh but have a meal or two at Raku. All dishes are made out of fresh produce from the garden, and that makes a hell of difference. So flavorful. You might overeat a bit, so be careful 😅

Love everything about the Raku Guesthouse! The lovely family, Sonam's helpful nature, the smell of delicious home cooked food wafting through the air, the gorgeous garden and the organic veggie patch... I have stayed here multiple times and would love to stay here only when I visit Leh. The rooms are well appointed and value for money, the location is great, just a 15 minute drive from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the leh market. There is a great bike rental right next door too called Leh Ladakh Bike Rental. I highly recommend the Raku Guesthouse for friends, families, couples , singles, pretty much anyone visiting Leh!

Great owner family that helps with anything you need, old and new rooms are very nice and the garden with apple and apricot trees is great to relax. Just beware that it takes 10-15min to walk to town/market.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Gyalpo Residency! The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with clean washrooms that add to the comfort. The staff is extremely helpful and cooperative, always ready to assist with a smile. The garden and terrace area are beautiful spots to relax, and the WiFi connection is excellent, which made the stay even better. The only downside was that the food was average and slightly more expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, a great experience — comfortable stay, warm hospitality, and lovely ambiance!

We stayed here during the recent Leh curfew and had booked a suite. Hands down, this is the best place to stay in Leh. Everything about the property is so well thought out — the entire atmosphere is designed to make you feel calm and at peace. The food was excellent in both quality and taste, and the staff were exceptionally polite, humble, and attentive, even during those difficult days. A special mention to the lady at the reception — she truly stood out. We had originally booked two nights through Agoda at a great discounted rate but arrived a day early due to the curfew. Instead of charging us a higher rate directly, she suggested we book the extra night again through Agoda so we could keep the same discount. It’s rare to see such honesty and customer-first attitude in hospitality. She won our hearts the moment we stepped in!

I would give a 5 star rating for excellent hospitality, rooms, views, location and food at this hotel. Due to flight cancellations because to bad weather we extended our stay for 3 more days. The network connectivity was also affected , but the staff ensure we had all that we need to be comfortable and safe. Thank you Hotel Management and staff.

Very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and a very nice restaurant area. Set in a peaceful location, a taxi would be needed to get to the central area but they are readily available. The staff were very friendly and helpful led by general manager Antony who went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable.

Me and my friend checked out today. We stayed here for 5 days and it was an amazing stay. Manjoor bhai and other staff members are very helpful and can help at any extent. Manjoor bhai arranged scooty and Himalayan bike at very reasonable rate wherein the demand of the market for high due to the season. The food was also very nice and homely cooked one. The Guest house is only 5 minute walking from the Leh main market. I would highly recommend this property whoever wants to stay at a prime location with affordable stay. Stayed here from 26th to 30th. The hotel stay is good, you will get all the amenities and the owner as well as care takers are humble and will guide you for various things. The place is just 3-5 mins walk from the leh market. Also for bike rental and taxi service you can take help from the owner. The rooms are well maintained and warm, the avg temperature at night goes around -3° yet you won't feel the chill. They will also provide you hot water bags if required, so feel free to ask. Overall I had a great time staying there :)

Clean and very friendly guest house. Walking distance to market, and motobike hire (Leh Ladakh Bike Rental), everything you need. This guest house was perfect to prepare for my Ladakh Motorbike adventure, I will stay again when I return l to Leh.

Had a great experience staying in September. The manager is really friendly and kind. The rooms are neat, there's hot water and wifi available. Would be nice if they had tables to work from. The price is reasonable. They provide tasty tea and parathas for breakfast. It's not too far from the market so conveniently located. The views from the guesthouse of the mountains are pretty too.

One of the best economical lodging options in Leh. Outstanding Service and great Value. Particularly the aunt. Three days with her were remarkable because she treated us like family. If staying, you must try the vegetarian moms and tea. I want to visit again soon.

Rooms are neat and clean. View is good. A little bit far away from the market but it's cheaper stay from other nearby stays. If u are going to plan at this stay forget about food. The owner makes you very little quantity of food for one. We have stayed there for couple of days and can't eat the same monotonous dal chawal for every meal. The homestay lady isn't happy to serve you food. So please don't bother her and please make your arrangement on your own. We went out and ordered food at nearby homestays and paid double charge.

I stayed there for ten weeks last summer. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a place to park our bicycles. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and help whenever they can. I was ill during my stay, and they looked after me like a real family. There's free Wi-Fi and enough hot water for a pleasant shower after a trip. The only downside: after a few weeks, breakfast was no longer available. The house is located perfectly at Changspa Road with a wide variety of shops and restaurants nearby. The town center of Leh is a 10 min walk away.

This is a lovely quiet homestay tucked away at an alley behind the busy Changspa Road. Only a 10 minute walk from the main market, minus the noise or the dust. The hosts are lovely people, very courteous, and the rooms are fantastic at this price point. The only issues you might have are: - accessibility (will not recommend for wheelchair users or mobility impaired folks) - requirement for stuff like geysers or room heaters (they have solar heating) For any other set of visitors, especially those looking for a quiet time, this homestay is perfect. They also have rules against noise, which helps keep the drunk loud music types away.

I asked Lobzang from the Zanskar Kanishka Expeditions to find me a hotel while I was in Lamayuru and he took me to Rabyang. Great experience! The whole family running the hotel is very nice and ready to help out with everything you need. Even a cold beer when I lamented that it was a dry day:) The guesthouse is very clean and you can get tea in the morning, even when you don't ask for it in advance. Very convenient from a location point of view. I was given tips for the events around, like the Dalai Lama birthday celebration at the Dharma Centre in Choglamsar. I stayed some 13 days and it felt like home. Can't wait to return!

Kolto and Yangchen are great hosts. Down to earth and very helpful. The location is great, just off Changspa. A peaceful place, but in walking distance to the town centre. Can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The property owner and manager Mr Gonbo was very helpful in guiding about local cuisines, places to see, he is also helpful in arranging taxi/ bike and planning out itinerary. The best place to say while visiting Leh! Gonbo and his staf are extremely helpful and friendly! Gonbo knows everything about whole Ladakh and is always willing to help to make the best travelplans. He can arrange everything, from the best hikes to an car with driver. The rooms are big, clean and peacefull. Breakfast is good and we even had diner wich was great! Leh Centre is close by, only 8-10 minutes by walk. We would highly recommend this place and when we ever come back to Leh, we will stay at Rock Castle for sure!

We stayed at Castle Rock Residency for four nights in August. We couldn't speak more highly of the friendly and responsive staff. The location is just a short 10 minute walk into Leh market. We stayed in a balcony room which had views over Leh Palace and Tsemo Hill castle. There is a walk to the castle starting next door to the property and is highly recommended for a sunset trek (20 min).

The hotel, staff and the rooms at Rock Castle - all are simply amazing. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and cozy. I recommend the rooms with balcony. The hotel is at a 10 minute walk from the main market. The food they serve is simple yet tasty. Highly recommend staying here as they will also arrange all the other sightseeing packages like Nubra, Pangong etc. There's a bonus for dog lovers - there are 2 cute, friendly dogs at the property - Pepsi and Poco. They will surely keep you entertained, especially if kids are traveling.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rock Castle hotel in Leh with my family and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The hospitality of the people, especially the owner Mr Gonbo was outstanding. Mr Gonbo was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure that our stay and travel to tourist attractions was comfortable. Being value to money ,the good quality food and the spacious rooms were a real highlight, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring the area. I was also pleased to find that the hotel was conveniently located near the Leh main market. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Leh. This hotel has really spacious rooms with a view. The property is really beautiful. The owner, manager and other staff are really helpful and friendly. We had a good conversation with the owner who gave us insights of the ladakh. I really loved the food and especially the Tea. This place is close to the market also.

This was a home away from home! The hotel is run by the very hospitable Namgail family who took care for us with everything we needed. For a very affordable price we received a well equipped and clean room, delicious meals, laundry service, help with our luggage and taxi service. They even facilitate a dining room where hot water and tea are served 24/7. I'll certainly come back here for my next stay in Leh.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Tundup bhai and his family. He tries his best to make you feel at home and in house chef's delicacies makes you not explore the local cafes lol. All this for nominal price and next to Shanti stupa, makes it a perfect choice.

Wang, Dolma aunty and Samir made us feel so loved and taken care of! We landed early in the morning, but they had some amazing chai and our room ready for us within minutes. Every morning, my partner and I were so excited to wake up, just to be able to taste dolma aunty's home made bread. Samir makes excellent omlettes! Wang took care of all of our travel needs. He helped us get our permits, dropped us to Rumbak village for a hike, helped several others in the house book their kardungla road trips and also dropped us off to the airport for our departure from Leh. When we had an unfortunate accident at the hike, Wang prepared himself to come rescue us, which goes to show how above and beyond they go. We loved their house so much so that we extended our stay at the house by another couple days. They also have multiple sweet kitties on the property, who love to lounge in the sun and never bothered us. We also really enjoyed the our room and the location of the property. There's a lot of restuarants, supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. The leh market is 15 minutes away with a lot of shopping stores along the way. Perfect home stay, can't wait to go back here with my parents soon.

We booked for double room with balcony and private bathroom but we got shared bathroom with 2 single beds the first night. Moved to a private bathroom the next night. Both nights the hot water ran for about 2 min then lukewarm for 6 min, then cold. No proper chairs or table to sit in both rooms. I was looking forward to local breakfast from the pics but it was just bread, peanut butter, jam, hard boiled egg - boring and the bread was dry. The lady host was nice but I didn't find the young guy who seems to be running the place to be honest. He presents as though you need him for better deals etc but we found better by ourselves. The driver he organised was late 2 mornings and an aggressive driver. We didn't go back cause other place in Leh closer to main town for the same price have better breakfast, hot shower and much more convenient.

Lovely guest house, around 10min walk from Leh market which makes it perfect if you want to have some peace & quiet. We stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are spacious and clean! Breakfast was delicious and there was always someone around to help us with any question we had, regarding literally any topic. This is a great homestay located within 1 Km walk from the main Leh market. We stayed here for 2 nights. Under the great care of the hosts - Aunty and Wang , it truly became our home away from home. You will get all the help and guidance you need.

We had an amazing stay at Thangkop House. We were warmly greeted by Dolma who is a wonderful host. She made us feel right at home and made sure we adjusted to the altitude. We loved Thangkop so much that we spent a few nights initially but then came back multiple times between trips to other places. The rooms are lovely and sunny. We had yummy breakfasts with homemade local bread. Wang (Dolmas son) helped us organise a scooter trip arranging for the bike to be dropped to the house for a very reasonable price and also helped us organise a trip to the Sham Valley Trek. I couldn’t recommend highly enough and if you are visiting Leh you should stay here :)

Thangkop is the most wonderful guest house! The whole family are so generous and kind. Dolma was very attentive and made delicious cinnamon tea and traditional breakfasts! Wang, Dolma's son was very helpful in organising activities and giving advice re transport etc. We returned here again multiple times after trips out of Leh and it felt like returning home. An easy taxi ride from the airport and just a short walk into the centre. Definitely stay here if you are visiting Leh!

The room given to us initially was on 4th floor. No lift, so i had my doubts if this floor was regularly used. I was told we were being upgraded. When we reached the room, it was not clean and dust was under the table and under the bed. When I informed housekeeping they said FLOOR was opened only this morning. The staff then again started cleaning. I went down to talk to the manager, the receptionist was non chalant , no reaponse, just " so Sorry" upon raising hue and cry I found the manager and he offered to change the room. The other room on 1 st floor was fine. Poor show as far as staff response is concerned. I hope they educate their reception and housekeeping staff.

We had the most amazing stay at Heschuk guest house. Padma, the owner, was honestly incredible. She helped us booking taxis, she was very helpful when we were not feeling well, she was always available when we needed something. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this level of service anywhere, and on top of that, for such an affordable price. I would also like to mention the staff that were serving us food and drinks. They were always so kind. I really wish we could stay longer. The week we spent at Heschuk will be one of my most cherished travel memories. 🙏🏼

The location is just 2 km away from main market yet at very peaceful place with excellent views surrounded with trees, mountains and rivers. They have organic farm . 🧺 The food is very yummy and dining is very well maintained. The host - stenzin have been wonderful and very helpful providing information about local. He made sure that our stay is comfortable. Rooms are clean , spacious and has great views. Overall, this was the best stay in Leh !! We travelled as a couple. They have spacious 3 bed room and private balcony as well.

I had one of the most beautiful experience of vacation with my family here. Stanzin made our stay comfortable and memorable . Staff is also very helpful and friendly. They always served us with a 😃 smile. They made amazing lipsmacking food. Rooms are comfy and have a great view of landscape nearby. One can easily spot Zanskar and Ladakh range from balcony. Leh market is also nearby this place. Overall I had a great time here and definitely visiting again.

I had booked this stay for self and wife while we were on Ladakh trip. The first thing is the hospitality and the warmth. Mr Stanzin made both of us comfortable. He is humble and decent. If you are coming to leh and you want to live near nature in peace, this is the place. Leh Maeket is 3km away. Specially if you are with the group of bikers, come to this place.

Very good room at very reasonable price. Could be much better if they Could provide electric blanket during winters. But apart from that the property is really good and I would definitely suggest. The owner and caretaker was really helpful. They did welcome us really well. Stayed happily for 2 days peacefully.

We booked our stay here at 1500 rs per head with package deal of breakfast and dinner. But when we got there, we got to know as the owner have no staffs in his hotel he will not be able to provide any meals which was included in the package. A simple tea and maggi request takes forever to serve. At last when we requested to cut down the cost as the package was not fully provided, the owner didn’t approve, and took the whole money. Though this hotel is comparatively cheap and is a very walkable distance from the Leh market. The rooms are huge with big windows. The bathroom is also huge.

I don't believe you will find a better guest house in Leh. The family makes you feel like you're at home and are extremelyhelpfuland accommodating. The mattresses on the bed are 10/10, hot water with shower, and wifi for a very fair price. About 5 minute walk from the center, but far enough away from all of the noise.

Nice quiet guesthouse with spacious rooms, hot water, and working wifi (good for Leh). The price is decent enough compared to other places of this quality. It's a little bit far from Changspa area, but not too far from Leh market.

The elderly couple who own the guest house are very welcoming and friendly. For all days of our trip that we stayed here, it felt like a home away from home. The boy that cooks food is really good at his job. The guest house has clean rooms with well furnished furniture. Rooftop offers a spectacular view of snow capped mountains.

We stayed here in September 2021 for around 24 days. Rooms are good and they provide all the amenities here like towel, clean linens, hot water, internet etc. A bit costly compared to other nearby hotels. Beautiful view from 2nd floor varandah. The owner Mr Morup is a helping person.

The hotel is a great option if you are looking for place to stay near Leh. We stayed there for a week and we loved everything about it. The owners were amazing with their hospitality and the rooms were reasonably priced as well. The hotel offers newer modern rooms and traditional rooms if you prefer. The location is great as the main Leh market is 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also there are rooms with balcony with Leh palace view which was a plus.

Came to Leh solo for the fourth time during the winters in Feb 25 for 8 days. The best decision I made was to select Noor Guest House as the place to settle down for the week. The guest house is neat and clean and gives you the authentic feel of staying in a traditional house. The hosts are amazing. Zubair bhai and his family keep no stone unturned to make your stay as comfortable as possible. During the winters the tap waters are frozen, but you are never short of hot drinking water, green teas, or anything in particular. Every morning hot water was provided for bathing (if you have the courage for it). I am a vegetarian but was never short of veg options for dinner. Zubair bhai also arranged a day tour to the frozen Pangong for me and two other guests staying with him at a very nominal cost. I just cannot thank them enough for the way they took care of me and made me feel so comfortable at their place during the harsh winters. 5 stars from me for the 5 star hosts and the 5 star guest house. Cheers!

The price is very reasonable, and there’s no need to worry about hot water. The host is extremely courteous and even stored my luggage while I was out riding for several days. At the beginning of my stay, before I had exchanged my money for rupees, he kindly covered my taxi fare. The host is truly wonderful! If you have your own transportation, staying here is ideal because it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Leh Main Street, which can be tiring at high altitude. Overall, if you have your own transportation, I highly recommend Noor Guest House!

We spent almost 4 days in here. Stanzin was so helpful, kind, and flexible. We ask to keep our bag while we check out to catch some activities before leaving by bus, then he offer us to delayed check out and store our bag at the room. The room so clean, the bed so confort and it only 3 mins away walk to main market. Love to stay here again if we back to leh 😃

The staff is excellent. He can deal with anything properly and immediately. Very hot water is provided 24 hours. We stayed at room no.1 for 3 nights which was spacious and cozy with a great view. Also you can enjoy a view from the rooftop.

We arrived late at night and they were happy to help us. The room and shower room were clean and the owner was very helpful. Close to the Ray Market so you can enjoy the time to get used to the heights.

Central position, located 1-minute walk from both Leh main market and old Leh. The rooms, bathroom and linen are clean, the place is very peaceful and the owner is super kind and helpful. The only downside is that there is no reception, so if you just step in and want to check room availability without pre-booking you might need to wait for a while for him to come. However, he is usually always nearby and frequently checks if there are new guests. The price was super reasonable for the standards of the room; one of the best value for money guest house I found so far during my trip 🙂

Nice cozy beautiful place in budget to stay at a walking distance to the main market in Leh . Rooms were newly renovated , spacious, neat and clean, with all the required amenities. This place is definately recommended for people seeking a hideout in budget close to main market .

The host stamzin (not sure about the spelling :)) was extremely helpful: he organised a small table and chair so I could have an online meeting, gave me a room close to the wifi, helped me with organising a bus. The rooms are nice and bright and cleaner than most hotels I stayed at, warm water is also working, location is great, at this price outstanding.

Best in budget. Spacious rooms with great toilets. There are usb docks for charging in rooms as well!! A water purifier just outside the room. They had plenty of blankets so cold won't bother you lol and the owner was very polite. At 999 this was a steal.

Norboo and his wife made us feel like family. This is more a homestay than a hotel. Great meals as well.

We stayed here for 10 days and it was so relaxing, homely, warm and overall comfortable. Norbu uncle and Aunty are almost our family members now...Those long talks, home food, right guidance along with some amazing companions... The room is so neat and clean and really spacious. You get enough sunlight, large windows with the view of the mountains..

Absolutely beautiful homestay. I travelled solo here planning a stay of not more than 2 weeks, the hospitality and the homely feeling here made me extend it for a month. The location is within walking distance from the main market, I used to spend my days working in Serdung (100Mbps fibre line btw) and head down to the market in the evening visiting cafes. The hospitality by the whole family won't make you miss your home. I have fond memories of enjoying meals with Norboo uncle and all the other fellow travellers with aunty's delicious lettuce salad as a side. Loved the stay and I think I'll be making the Leh stay a yearly thing.

We had a great experience, we went there in a group of 11 people on 20th July, 2022. We started for Leh from Manali whereas due to exam my daughter had to travel there all alone from Kolkata to Leh by airways. Right from the moment of her arrival at the leh airport they took extreme care of her, starting from receiving her from airport to providing her a comfortable and warm environment in our absence. I and my wife stayed at Sponbo Guest House from 1st May 2025 onwards for a total of 3 nights. Let me take this moment to thank the Owner and host Mr Norbu who was very kind and delightful in entertaining us. We were the first tourist of the season and were welcomed with a blessing of a scarf by the owner on 1st day. The rooms were clean, away from the hustle of the city, and offered all good amenities like parking, Wify, Hot Water, Warm Quilts, and electricity full time and good food. The property is great for all- families, couples, friend groups. The rates are very reasonable and would be light on your pocket. The property also has a farm attached to itself where exotic herbs and plants are present. I would give 5/5 on all parameters and would urge all travellers to check out this property before going for any other in Leh.

When we arrived the owner and his parents were treated as family members. They were treated with a mint tea that was very nice and also they had table tennis. If you are planning to come in leh, go there. The price of the room is also affordable the guest house was very silent and away from the crowd. They also have a wooden ceiling that was very beautiful.

This is possible if you stay in a Homestay . Hotels, they just mind their own business! But the Homestay’s are the real promoter of their area, culture, tradition and the way of living . Absolutely loved the stay, food, conversation and would recommend Sponbo Guest House 100 % . I would definitely stay at Sponbo whenever I visit Leh again !!!

We visited Sponbo Guest House on June 15, 2024. When we arrived, the owner and his parents treated us like family members. They welcomed us with mint tea. The food is awesome, rooms are very clean & decent. This guest house is strongly recommended for staying with family and friends. Mr. Norbu, the owner, is a very helpful and kind person who never says "NO", he always ready for help. He has a very good network in Leh, he helped us with renting bikes and finding nearby must-visit places. We enjoyed playing table tennis and cards. If you are planning to come to Leh, go there. The room prices are affordable, and the guest house is very quiet and away from the crowd. They also have a beautiful wooden ceiling. Must visit 👍

One of the best affordable stays in Leh. The host family is very very hospitable. They have a huge farm in backyard where you can experience farming activity, ample parking space along with small gardens for bonfire, indoor stays. Overall awesome experience.

The place was easy to find and we were dropped directly from the airport. The place was neat and tidy and we had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. Moreover, if you prefer quiet and peace during your stays, the neighborhood serves it well on a platter. Do note that if you order something from the place itself, it'll take time. Although our stay was comfortable thanks to the owner being almost always available and easy to communicate with.

Loved our stay here. Originally we had booked it only for 2 days but we kept extending our stay here. It is a quiet place away from hustle and bustle of the city. Just a 10 - 12 min walk from the leh market. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Place is Super clean and have well lit spacious rooms. The best part are the fruit trees raspberry, apricots and apple in the front and the backyard. The owner are very kind to let us enjoy the fruits at will. Breakfast is great and filling too. Overall a wonderful place to stay in Leh.

One of the finest homestays in Leh, away from the busy streets. It is completely tranquil. Has very good internet. A family runs it , have their own kitchen garden where they grow vegetables and apples. Knowing it's a homestay it serves breakfast and snacks in the common dining area. You have to let them know in advance. Also if you are lazy going out for a meal, you can order home delivery from the family run hotel in leh market. They are always happy to help with any kind of information and assistance. We kept our bags at their place for a week while we were touring other places.

It is good people who make good places and Soman Bhaiya and Aunty ( his Mother) are the best of the people I met. I arrived in Ladakh without an itinerary and Soman has helped me to sort out one. Gave me insights on what all places I should spend more time what is the best way to commute etc etc. The stay is nice and cozy with awesome view and a small garden where you can pluck Apples. The breakfast menu is apt and you have various options to choose from. Have your breakfast here and start your sightseeing. The common room is a beauty. ❤️ For the duration I stayed in Leh I didn't bother to search for any other stays. I liked it so much. Lastly, I would like to thank Ponyo Stays for hosting me. Cheers.

The property is a treat to the eyes, because I am a plant lover and the property is surrounded by trees, flowers, plants and blooms. The caretaker/owner (Sonam) was very patient and lovely to talk to. Affordable rooms/beds with both attached and common washroom options to choose from. Fresh Towels+soaps and water was provided. You can get food and beverages as per order (inform beforehand) Sonam was so helpful that he not only arranged by cab to the airport for my early morning flight. He also woke up so that I board the cab timely at 5:30. We also had tree-fallen apricots from The garden. The only thing that was icky was the presence of plantation mosquitoes in the room. They don't bite but, just their presence made me bit uncomfortable. A lovely and affordable stay otherwise.

Host and his mother are very nice people. They were taking care of us like family. It feels like home in another city. it is near by Leh market and airport. They have very beautiful garden where we eat apricots and apples. Overall marvelous place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed one night at this guest house and had a really great experience. The rooms were clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the owners were very kind and helpful. In particular, their son Ricky was a great help – he assisted us both with renting motorbikes and with solving a personal issue. Highly recommended guest house!

We loved our 3 day stay at Chakzot! Aunty is so humble and warm. We loved the home cooked food here. The Garden is awesome. It is a quiet place, with Leh market at a 10-15mins walking distance. We also walked upto Shanti Stupa in the evening, took about 30-40mins, but what a good walk!! The rooms are clean, spacious. And very budget friendly. We loved our stay!

A very comfy homestay with basic amenities. Run by a very friendly family, they have a beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy a nice hot cup of tea. There is hot water available for shower. Located just 5 minutes away from the main market, it is super convenient and you can get everything you need at a stone’s throw. Loved the stay and the service!

very beautiful homestay and kind owners. location is around 10 mins walking from leh market in a side street. rooms are basic but alright. we stayed for four nights and i booked two months in advance. but we got the smallest room which was directly next to the garden. so every morning at 7.30 i could hear the owner doing his gardening. although its a quiet area unfortunately every morning i was woken up by cars honking. mattress was too thin and hard for my taste. we also got only one pillow each. no water refill. u can only buy plastic bottles if u need water :((( i was expecting to get a bit more comfort for that price

My second time staying experience here with Tsewang, Wangdus, and Aunty Dolma. They took really good care of my friends and family. Their food was very homely and satisfying as were their recommendations for quick trips around Leh and help with a driver connect.

This guest house is located off Fort Road, walking distance from the main square. The location is great. It's serene and away from noise. The guest house is cosy. The owners are homely locals. The rooms are airy and well painted. There are large windows overlooking greenery. Everything is extremely clean, including the bathrooms. There is running hot and cold water for showers. The best part is that a private room costs much less than the guest houses and hotels in the vicinity. Two Flowers looks brand new although it's been around for a few years. The WiFi is a bit spotty so travelers need to use hotspot at times. Laundry service is available for a small sum. There are many eateries around the guest house. Visitors who don't have a bike or prefer going on foot will be happy to know that there are short cuts going towards Old Road and Skara from this place. Two Flowers is clean, quiet and airy.

Great guesthouse in Leh. The guesthouse is clean, the rooms are big and it’s close to the centre of Leh. The hosts are friendly and warm. I arrived at 06.00 in the morning (way earlier than I thought) and could already check in and get into the room. The Ladhaki breakfast is delicious. I hope I have the change to come back.
