All thanks to the Grand Dragon Hotel, which made sure to prepare us even before we arrived, ensuring a memorable journey without any uneasy experiences. The hotel is situated at a location that provides the scenic view of mountain ranges from everywhere. The rooms makes you feel right at home with the cozy setup and every single details that helps you blend in. The temperature-controlled air-conditioning is lifesaver. The food is exceptional and the staffs are friendly and always available at your service. This is place is worth for every single penny that we paid and would love to visit whenever i land in Leh

I want to share my experience with Grand Dragon Ladakh & this is a appreciation post for all the staffs of the hotel & why such a brand value that they carry with them.Due to unprecedented circumstances at Leh my Ladakh trip got cancelled on 27th August 2025 and i had to ask for a refund request by reaching out to the hotel. Quoting here Prachi & the entire team,they were so kind enough to understand the crisis & refunded the entire amount without a single word back.I promised them that I will be back when things become normal & my itinerary will be again booked with them while i visit Leh in the near future.This was a big miss for me but at the same time,I really appreciate the service & the courteous behaviour from the entire group..Keep up the great work!! we have stayed a month ago in this property. I would definitely suggest to stay here as it is very peaceful location. They have only 7 to 8 villas so we can say it is small property. You can see mountains from the gallery. Rooms are well designed I think inspired by local Architects. They provide hand made good toiletries. They only and only serve ladaki and some international food with good taste. It is really appreciable to encourage local food but here I would suggest to keep some Indian food option. As a Indian and as a five star raking property definitely they should serve India food too. because they have International food option. I personally think it is little overpriced as they have very limited food option and small property. We have even asked for spa but that is also expensive like aprox 7000Rs and they have only one person for spa. overall staff is frankly and carrying. Staff named sujal and yasir they both good at their work.they have oxygen concentrator machine and good heaters in every rooms.

Dolkhar was the perfect base for our friends’ getaway to Leh! The property is super aesthetic—earthy tones, beautiful Ladakhi architecture, and cozy vibes all around. It felt boutique and luxe without being over the top, and the setting made it easy to just chill and take in the mountain views between our adventures. The rooms were spacious enough for all our stuff (and chaos), and the staff made us feel like we were at a home away from home—always helpful, full of local tips, and really friendly. The food was a big highlight—everything fresh, flavorful, and locally sourced. We had long breakfasts and late-night catch-ups under the stars, which made the trip even more memorable. First of all, it is very nice eco friendly hotel, they don't use any plastic at all. Very cozy and spacious villa. The staff takes very good care of you. Very nice staff each and everyone of them. On top of that the restaurant offers amazing food. All in all perfect stay.

It’s one of those experiences that stay with you forever. What a beautiful boutique hotel nested in Leh serving some amazing food! Went for the Chef’s tasting and it was beyond any expectations!! A Truly Memorable Stay at Ladakh Sarai We spent a few days at Ladakh Sarai in one of their duplex cottage rooms, and it was a fantastic experience. The setup is ideal for groups of 4–5 people, with two spacious rooms spread across two floors, each with its own attached washroom. The rooms are well-equipped with modern amenities, including efficient in-built oil heating panels that kept us warm and comfortable. The property features expansive lawns and plenty of open, shared spaces that are perfect for relaxing or catching up with fellow travelers. The food was excellent, offering a delightful variety of cuisines that exceeded our expectations. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the entire team—from the resort managers to the serving staff. Their attentiveness and friendliness made our stay even more special. While the resort is a bit removed from Leh town, that distance adds to the peacefulness and charm of the location. The views from the rooms are modest, but the upper floor offers glimpses of majestic peaks in the backdrop. Overall, Ladakh Sarai is an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a serene and enriching stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Ladakh Sarai Resort, Leh for 6 days out of our 8 days. We had very comfortable stay in the pleasant atmosphere surrounded by snow clad mountains. Rooms are well maintained ,very nice staff. We felt like we came back to our home, whenever we returned to the resort after our trip to other parts of beautiful part of our country. Food is exceptionally tasty.

Staying here for 6 days feels like home, one of our best hotel during our tour to leh ladakh. Their freshly home grown vegetables to the table added a more pricy to the resort. Rooms are near and clean, service was top notch, good and helpful staff. Food is too good and appreciable! Will surely recommend this resort to our family and friends .

The hotel Abduz is in great location, 5 mins from airport. we were greeted by staff on arrival with great smiles & were very attentive to our needs & guide. we were looked after by lovely staff beyond our imagination Jegnat, Jilender, Krishna & the hotel service staff. we also had an upgraded room as it was my 65th birthday. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful with great decor, especiaaly the art painting done by the owner of Abduz, this was seen all over the reception & the rooms. I stayed at Hotel Indus Valley in September during my Ladakh Marathon, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This has been my favourite hotel stay ever — they took care of me from the moment I arrived.On arrival, I was welcomed warmly by Mr. Mang, Jigmet, Vivek, and Ms. Tani, with the traditional white scarf (Khata) and a cup of fragrant Kahwa. I was then guided to my beautiful mountain-view room, which was large, spacious, modern, and offered the most stunning sunrise views.The food was excellent — Chef Vikas Kumawat is truly a gem, and every meal was delicious. The hospitality of the support staff, especially Raj Hela, Rahul Das, and Pratap, was top-notch and made my stay even more pleasant.The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the heart of Leh, just a short walk from Downtown and the Leh Market. This hotel has a wondeful staff!! Starting from the reception, the house keeping and the kitchen, the staff here is very helpful and friendly. There are only two hotels in Leh with air conditioning and people coming from North need that because of tolerance to cold climates. In June it was much needed. We had a valley spa room with room and jacuzzi and it was enjoyable. The food is varied and you will find something for every one.

It's a nice, clean hotel, very near to market. Just the services were bit slow due to under capacity of staff when I went. Rest everything is great about the hotel.

Great place to stay in Leh, close to the market place yet as quiet as it can be. Super helpful hospitality team (especially Jigmet & Kim) however I do wish the best were more firm for better sleep. Best of luck to the team - Indus Valley

We had a comfortable stay at Ladakh residency, courtesy Aadil who is the manager at this property. He upgraded us and provided room with a good view of mountains on one side and Stupa on the other side. The hotel is well located - nearby Leh market and amidst quite a number of good bakeries and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. The staff is very attentive and also helped us with necessary permits. We would love to come back again to this hotel.

One thing I noticed during my travel to Ladakh is that people are very courteous and the same held true for this hotel. Staff is always eager to help. A few things missing from what was promised as part of deluxe room- slippers, writing table, ironing board, mini-fridge, almirah, mineral water (they removed it from my final bill when I showed them their advertised list of amenities). Breakfast spread was okay. In-room dining service was botched up. We ordered something and a different version of dishes came. Hotel is in close vicinity to some excellent restaurants.

One of the best hotel in Leh near market. Q km walking distance. Rooms are big with comfortable bed and clean lining. It has big balcony with great view. Bathroom was quite clean and with all necessary toiletries. Service is good and staff are very polite. Hotel restaurant is big and also offers breakfast and dinner with the room rent Hotel price is bit higher side but with the amenities and location it justifies.

Overall, it's a good hotel with spacious rooms and a small balcony, located just 10 minutes' walk from the Leh market. The staff's behavior was commendable, and the room offered all necessary refreshment items. The washroom was clean and well-maintained. One downside was the small parking space, and the major issue highlighted was the high service charges of 20% for in-room food delivery. This policy significantly added to the overall cost for guests, leading to disappointment. Despite the delicious and varied breakfast options, the management should seriously consider revising the service charges to enhance guest satisfaction and value for money..

Unfortunately we fell quite sick upon arrival in Leh, but luckily we found a room at Ashoka which made it all a Little Bit more bearable as Ashoka team took good care of us. Highly recommended accommodation with friendly stuff and nice and comfy rooms :)

Stayed here for 2 nights before we moved on to our nex5 location on our travels thw hotel is very clean our surerior room was very spacious and the bed was huge... I have to say the service we received from the guys was great very attentive couldn't help us out any more if they tried and the hotel manager arun made sure we had everything we needed and if we didn't have it he go it for us would highly recommend 👌🏻

We recently stayed at the 'Leh-Chen' hotel in Leh and had a good experience. The rooms were neat and clean (bathroom could be little better but overall clean), providing a comfortable stay. The service was decent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good, considering the limited resources available in Leh. However, the most enjoyable part of our stay was the breathtaking view from our room. It was truly spectacular and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, I would recommend Leh-Chen to anyone visiting Leh. (3.5 stars)

We were put up in this hotel as part of our Veena World tour package. Room 211 allocated to us for first 2 nights was dirty, dusty and had no mirror - highly recommend you avoid this room. Room 311 allocated for last night was exact opposite and well furnished. Overall service staff was good and responsive. Food was quite bad and partially cooked on quite a few days. Overall wouldn't rate more than 2 stars. Hotel management needs to invest in better room maintenance and overall food quality.

The hotel is good to stay in Leh. It is near the famous Shanti Stupa. But very far from leh market. Rooms are good. You can share room between 2-4 people. Food quality is also good. Various type of food option are available for breakfast and dinner.

Location and staff service are great. You get an unobstructed view of the Khardung La. Rooms too are decent, although I don't understand the logic of having the washroom toward the common corridor! That means no exhaust fan is there, and only a small ventilator that opens to the corridor. Epic design fail. Hot water available twice a day for about 2 hours each time.

Leh Chen is a great hotel at Leh. The rooms are well provisioned and the food at the buffet, both breakfast and dinner are of good quality and delicious. The cleanliness wasn't the best, but above average. Our trouble was the hot water. It is impossible for the hotel to guarantee you a reliable hot water supply. It is genuinely like asking them to do a mission impossible project - your hot water may or may not exist despite the staff saying it is on. Enter the shower / bath at your own risk!

This is my first time in Leh and I am not exaggerating but this place was the most warm and welcoming bar in the whole city. The people here were extremely welcoming, comforting and warm. The owner of the bar was so helpful and respectful, he hosted us really well and he gave us such great recommendations about which places to see locally (the hidden gems). If you want to have a great evening alone or with your friends, this is the place to be at. The most safe and amazing place in the entire city with great food, amazing music and lovely people.

The Pal hotel i feel has one of the best locations. It’s 5 mins away from the market and a whole lot of cafes too! The hotel is very cosy and the room was great too. Great view and all good basic amenities needed to stay here. The only thing i felt was that it’s a vegetarian restaurant hotel but the food is good and homely. The property is really nice, well-maintained, and very hygienic. Rooms and common areas are clean, and the proximity to Leh market makes it very convenient. The overall stay was comfortable. The only area for improvement would be the food – it could be better in terms of taste and variety.

We stayed here to acclimatize. The hotel is close to market so we could walk and go for shopping. The food is really good, I have had it at some of the most popular restaurants in Leh, but trust me the Paal's food was far better. The staffs are well mannered, attentive and very helpful and especially the restaurant staffs. The drawback is their room, which I found was less ventilated. As you don't have room fans and the curtains are too thick the ventilation kind of closes which is kind of heavy in the night. So one can ask for stand fan and they would provide the same. Everything else was great here.

I had a wonderful one night at the Pal Hotel. It’s located conveniently at walking distance from Leh market, which is the hub of the city. The other sites are nearby as well. Receptionists are very welcoming and kind. The rooms are good. I had a small room as a solo traveler, but I enjoyed having warm water and a small heater, as it was still cold out especially in the evening. Overall, a very pleasant one night stay. Be mindful that it may get loud in the hotel, depending on the other guests on your floor. I happened to be there when a group was on the same floor and it was extremely loud in the early night, but thankfully quieted down before I slept.

There are two blocks here. The photos posted everywhere is of the new block and not the old one. The rooms in new block are better but old block look like a lodge and the rooms are not so well kept. For example the curtain rings were out, the bathing cubicle in the bathroom will barely allow you to move there as it is hardly two feet wide and in my room even the door of this bathing cubicle was missing and once I raised this issue they did put a curtain there. One may see the photo. The staff were not professional enough and were not even ready to acknowledge the problem. The consumables like shampoo bottles or the tea kits were not replenished on daily basis. One had to ask for it. Overall not a satisfactory stay.

Where do I start. The Zen was a great experience. We spent a total of 7 days to acclimate before going to Zanskar and after. The hotel was beautiful, clean, fabulous restaurant and staff, and even a little history about the hotel and the Dalai Lama visit. The Manager and the staff were so wonderful to us. We felt like family when we left. The food was delicious! My fave was the Paneer, but it was all delish for breakfast and dinner. Overall, a great time and experience. Will definitely go back when in Leh again.

The room given to us initially was on 4th floor. No lift, so i had my doubts if this floor was regularly used. I was told we were being upgraded. When we reached the room, it was not clean and dust was under the table and under the bed. When I informed housekeeping they said FLOOR was opened only this morning. The staff then again started cleaning. I went down to talk to the manager, the receptionist was non chalant , no reaponse, just " so Sorry" upon raising hue and cry I found the manager and he offered to change the room. The other room on 1 st floor was fine. Poor show as far as staff response is concerned. I hope they educate their reception and housekeeping staff.

Truly an amazing hotel. The rooms were great, all the amenities were in place and the food was really nice too! The highlight however would definitely be the staff. They were super friendly and helpful. From driving us to the hospital at night for an emergency check up to providing us oxygen cannisters and helping us with every little thing. They even made special food on our request and packed is breakfast for our early morning flight. We were super grateful for their help and reassurance. We stayed at Sangaylay Palace, Leh for the first two days of our trip ( 21-23rd May 2025) and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by their warm hospitality. As soon as we stepped out of the car, staff members rushed to help with our luggage — they didn’t let us carry a single thing. We noticed they provided this thoughtful service to every guest. The hotel has a three-storey building with no lift, and we stayed in a premium room on the third floor. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshing drinks. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with an air purifier, hot and cold AC, 24-hour hot water, and all necessary toiletries. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a good variety, while dinner was made to order. Though there was no buffet at dinner, the staff gladly prepared whatever we requested, and the food tasted quite good. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel also offered pick-up and drop-off services to the local market, which was just 10 minutes away. Leh airport was around 15 minutes from the property, making it very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Sangaylay, The combination of great service, comfortable rooms, and a helpful staff made our experience delightful. I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Mandela and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and overall, it was a pleasant stay. Would recommend Manager Mr.Amit Kumar

My stay here was extremely disappointing. The rooms were very basic and lacked proper curtains, letting in excessive sunlight. The washroom was outdated and not cleaned properly. The bed was rock-hard and uncomfortable, and housekeeping was well below standard. To make matters worse, the bathroom’s design allowed people in the corridor to see inside, raising serious privacy concerns. The food quality was equally poor — even something as simple as tea was badly prepared, with the wrong balance of milk and sugar. When I provided feedback, the staff dismissed my concerns, saying that’s just how it’s made and nothing could be changed. Noise levels were terrible. Dogs barked throughout the night, and loud conversations and footsteps from outside made it impossible to sleep. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, noisy, and far from restful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant or comfortable stay.

We stayed at this place for a total of 5 nights since we had booked via glabol and they have a tie up with glabol. Overall, stay was satisfactory but can improve on maintenance of rooms. The first room that was given to us for triple sharing was a very small room for 3 people and lacked hot water facility most of the time. Once we returned from trip to stay for the last day, we asked for a bigger room and the manager was kind enough to provide a bigger room but the room was full of insects and lacked maintenance. Food wise, the staff were very friendly and customised the menu for us and asked us what we would like to eat and prepared accordingly. Kudos to the kitchen staff. Overall decent stay but rooms needs to be maintained well and water pressure not enough in rooms.

Amazing and spacious rooms and 24 by 7 hot water supply and food was amazing!! Manager Prakash was very helpful and was one call away for anything and everything! WiFi works very nice! Overall a recommendation to any of the tourists who are going for a trip!

Located at a very unique place. Easy to go to Leh Main market and go to surrounding places which are around Leh. They are having nice restaurant area and food. Owner and staff behaviour is nice.

At walking distance from market though located at much congested. Looks decent from outside but equally messed up inside. Rooms are spacious however furniture & fixtures are inadequately maintained, needs serious makeover. Room heats up in summer due to its wooden interior though don't have ACs and provided with wall mounted rotating fans only, makes you uncomfortable. Has parking at front though mostly occupied by bunch of rider bikes and much cramped for cars. Restaurant is specious with options of food although serving staffs and food quality are debatable.

Amazing location and Hotel ! We went for a 7D/8N road trip from Leh to Leh and this property is our first day and last day stay. Place is amazing Location is very good 3.8 KM from Leh airport. This property gives us the vibes of haritage place. Just one feed back their staff who are working in restaurant need a proper training as staff failed to deal nicely with customer specially one guy always in white shirt from Himachal Pradesh I don't know the name but when we asked him something about food he just casually raise hand and directed us rather then dealing with smile.

The property is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. It’s conveniently located just about 10 minutes from the airport, which was a big plus. The staff were exceptional — especially Mr. Jigmit, who was always ready to help with a warm and friendly attitude. Their hospitality really made the stay memorable. The food was delicious, with a different menu every day, which kept things exciting and enjoyable throughout our stay. Rooms were airy, clean, and very well maintained, offering both comfort and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, a truly pleasant stay with top-notch service. Hotel Kidar is one of the few properties in Leh which have beautiful gardens, apple & apricot trees. At walking distance from the Leh market this was the perfect hotel for our stay. I stayed for total 6 days (3 days before starting the Ladakh circuit & for 3 days after completing the circuit), never had a chance to complain for anything. Staffs were very friendly. Especially the kitchen staff were really nice. In the kitchen most of the vegetables they used are from their own garden. The owner Mr. Jigmet is also a wonderful person. He was making sure we are enjoying our stay. On the day of arrival he advised us on how to acclimatise with the high altitude and made sure we are doing good during our stay. Definitely one of the best hotel to stay in Leh.

Hotel Kidar is fantastic! Nice, sunlight rooms with good bathrooms. An immense garden with vegetables, fruits and heaps of flowers. The kitchen is amazing - breakfast and dinner. The owner/manager Jigmet is a very decent person, always ready to help guests and accomodate any questions. We were a family of 4; two adults and two very young kids. We were given the family room. Loved staying in the family room which is quite big and the whole family could stay together. We loved the experience of staying here. The staff has great hospitality. The manager welcomes you personally and explains all the amenities. Another mention worthy thing is that when the owner sensed that our kids had a slight hesitation at the dinner buffet, he voluntarily offered some complementary finger food. Kids were overjoyed!

Among the most stunning hotels, I've ever seen in Ladakh. Staff that is friendly, welcoming, and giving. The highest quality materials were used to create the interiors. and have been brought in to create a perfect setting for us  The apartments have a stunning layout with a view of mountains. When it comes to hospitality and management, the quality is excellent. The cooks are all incredibly skilled at what they prepare. Amazing and delectable cuisine. Must go there.

I reserved it as a surprise birthday gift for a close buddy. It was amazing. The hospitality staff's assistance was invaluable when it came to putting up the table and adding decorations. I loved it The breakfast buffet at the hotel was excellent. The view from the rooms was the nicest attraction. It's difficult to find anything bad to say about this fantastic hotel. Let's just say that this is one of those hotels that you will really remember to avoid using a bunch of superlatives.

A warm welcome, humble and knowledgeable checkin staff. Very accommodating for our ask on rooms. Kitchen staff specifically R.P. Singh who has been serving there for 20 years was very hospitable. He managed the rest of the staff very well on all the demands coming through from all diversified customers/guests during breakfast and dinner. Seems like this establishment is operating from a very long time and it has a great touch of traditional Ladakh culture in its ambience. Cheers!

Clean cozy room with beautiful mountain view! Staff was hospitable and gave good tips on precautions to be taken on day 1 to avoid falling sick. One of the few hotels with a heater in the room, a must have if you're not used to the cold. Would definitely stay here again!

Recently a group of 30 of us stayed for several nights at the Gawaling in Leh.Rooms are large and very comfortable. Minor maintenance is required on some. Location is perfect. Quiet area- walking distance into the market. Service was exceptional and prompt. Dining and kitchen staff so kind and accommodating. Front desk staff were also extremely helpful and professional- particularly Ashwani- he is an asset to this business. I would definitely stay again.

The food was absolutely delicious and felt home-cooked with care. A big thank you to Manju, Varsha, Mamta, Bittu, and Jakesh — they were incredibly kind, accommodating, and always served with a smile. Their service made our mealtimes extra enjoyable. One area that could use a bit of improvement is the bathroom maintenance, as there were some leakage issues in certain rooms. Hopefully, that gets addressed soon. Stayed at The Gawaling in Leh towards the end of March 2025 and had a great experience. We had two rooms—both were excellent, with heated floors and centralised HVAC, which made the stay very comfortable despite the cold. The views from the rooms were stunning. The food was also impressive; both the buffet and à la carte options were consistently good. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and scenic stay in Leh!

The hotel is located slightly away from the main shopping streets, which actually worked in its favour by offering a peaceful, quiet environment — ideal for resting after long days on the road. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and both breakfast and dinner were well prepared and generously served. Hotel Royal Ladakh - Leh..... We stayed in your property from 06/07/24 to 08/07/24 for two days and onward tour and returned on 11/07/24 for a total of 3 days. There were 12 members in my group. The property was very beautiful, clean, best location and tasty food with great taste was also highly appreciated. Your staff was very helpful. Your staff promptly provided us with hot water, hot masala tea, and room amenities at all times. Apart from this, the kitchen staff was also very helpful. The comfort you have in those rooms and the natural beauty visible from them are very much appreciated. Specially... this place is perfect and good for tourists coming in family and group tour. So whenever you come to Leh, definitely visit "Hotel Royal Ladakh - Leh", I am sure you will also fall in love with this place... because it makes me feel at home. Both my visits in the month of May and July of this year 2024 with both my groups were very memorable in this hotel...

Depends on what kind of rooms one is getting. We stayed for 5 nights in 3 different rooms. First room was standard and I would give 4*. 2nd stay, the room was dark, small. Bathroom fittings were broken or damaged. Could give negative *. 3rd stay was very good. Spacious big room with nice view. Staff were good and polite but front desk could improve on politeness. Food was tasty and good variety.

I stayed here with my family in May 2023 for three days. This was a great experience in terms of hospitality and services. Rooms were neat and clean and entire staff was very well behaved. Hotel Manager Surinder at front desk was very polite & humble and ready to help. Quality of food was excellent and we really enjoyed our breakfast & dinner. Gulshan and team, at restaurant took great care of us and all guests. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would definitely recommend my friends & family to pick up this place, whenever they plan to visit Leh.

Excellent week long stay with my family. This Hotel is excellent. Rooms are clean, the mountain view from the rooms is breathtaking. The information provided and the images put on website are identical. Most importantly the entire staff is amazingly well behaved, polite, helpful and hospitable. The entire staff contributed towards making our stay totally worth it.

We charged for 4k to stay one night, The room was very very poor and old and had a wooden smell, No AC, and a hot water kettle in the room. Actually worth 1 or 2k only. The bathroom and toilet are in the very worst condition, the shower condition is poor. The service staff was good and polite, but not decision maker.

Rooms and bathroom are not maintained as showing at pictures..also Tv are not working.. Service is very pathetic.. Reception person are very rude.. Select the hotel only if you try for budget standard.. Overall not recommended..

Considering the price, Rooms are good enough. Food is great but the some of the service guys are rude and don't respond to the requests well. Otherwise, the stay in this hotel was pleasant enough. Its near to the Leh Market so we don't have to go far for some casual stroll and shopping in the market. I'd say price to service ratio is really good. Highly recommended for anyone with tight budget.

we booked chospa hotel for our first stay in leh to celebrate my birthday and catch a breath as we acclimatise to the weather. saying i felt at home would be an understatement. the best hospitality, warmth of all the staff and some incredible food later it was hard saying bye for us. we loved every minute of our stay and they went an extra mile all day with the lovely gestures to make my birthday an unforgettable one. i highly recommend this beautiful hotel and their other property Kyaagar in Nubra. They both were my favourite experiences, with food made from the best of fresh ingredients, menus thought of so well and staff as warm as always. 10/10!!!

I decided to stay at Chospa Hotel on the recommendation of a friend and I could not have been happier with my stay. One of the highlights for me apart from the welcoming staff and wonderful rooms was the extensive breakfast buffet with the menu changing on the three mornings I was there. I look forward to returning to Chospa Hotel the next time I am Leh.

Got a massage there- very mediocre yet expensive. very rude front desk, the guy with his hair silked back charged my wife more money then agreed. When I called later to ask why that happened he lied and said she gave him a tip(he isn't the massage person!!) When I asked for a refund he started cursing me and threatened me not to be seen in the city or else..

Nicely built hotel . Very clean and spacious.. staff is good .. but breakfast buffet was not at all satisfactory as Rs 1200.00 +taxes rates not worth at all.. very few options available. Poor service at restaurant .. most of the options mentioned in menu not available. Even sandwiches . Either they should reduce the rate or enhance the quantities and options with quality in foods Location far away from main city center so you have to depend on the food supply from hotel.

Must must book this hotel. We found this gem of a hotel last week and it was the best decision to book this. The room is just like any 5 star hotel with all amenities. We were traveling and celebrating our anniversary but the manager and the staff here made our anniversary super memorable. They decorated the entire room, arranged a candle light dinner and a fabulous cake as well. The staff was very humble and helpful as well as we didn't have our Leh permit which they helped us arrange as well. Food was really good! Can't thank them enough for hosting us!

This hotel is located on a wide highway. The staff is sweet and helpful. The food is reasonably good. And the cleanliness and quality of the accommodation are top-notch.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Gyalpo Residency! The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with clean washrooms that add to the comfort. The staff is extremely helpful and cooperative, always ready to assist with a smile. The garden and terrace area are beautiful spots to relax, and the WiFi connection is excellent, which made the stay even better. The only downside was that the food was average and slightly more expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, a great experience — comfortable stay, warm hospitality, and lovely ambiance!

We stayed here during the recent Leh curfew and had booked a suite. Hands down, this is the best place to stay in Leh. Everything about the property is so well thought out — the entire atmosphere is designed to make you feel calm and at peace. The food was excellent in both quality and taste, and the staff were exceptionally polite, humble, and attentive, even during those difficult days. A special mention to the lady at the reception — she truly stood out. We had originally booked two nights through Agoda at a great discounted rate but arrived a day early due to the curfew. Instead of charging us a higher rate directly, she suggested we book the extra night again through Agoda so we could keep the same discount. It’s rare to see such honesty and customer-first attitude in hospitality. She won our hearts the moment we stepped in!

I would give a 5 star rating for excellent hospitality, rooms, views, location and food at this hotel. Due to flight cancellations because to bad weather we extended our stay for 3 more days. Very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and a very nice restaurant area. Set in a peaceful location, a taxi would be needed to get to the central area but they are readily available. The staff were very friendly and helpful led by general manager Antony who went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable.

Overall feel of the property is better than a hotel. Individual rooms give it the resort feeling. Rooms are clean, But they are just closed with no views. Prices are reasonable and value for money. The road leading to the hotel is very very narrow and is two way. Quite dangerous practically if you are driving. Too steep if you need to walk as well. Food at the hotel is very good. On par with typical north Indian food from any good restaurant in North India. Ambience of resort is good. Overall value for money as long as you are paying a 3star hotel rates. But much better than the hotels on the same road.

However, the food quality fell short of expectations despite the staff’s efforts to improve after our feedback. While resolved, this incident left a poor impression and raises concerns about management practices. On our first trip to Leh, this was our base. The yard with ubiquitous roses overlooking the snow clad mountains was delightful! Very central with cafes and stores at a walking distance. As we stayed on, we discovered how wonderful and personable the staff is. Be it enquiring if we had our meals (and making sure we did), providing us meds for mountain sickness, and just overall warmth and kindness really made our trip special. It’s a family run place, with lots of staff; they all went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place!

Our group stayed at Hotel Omasila and had an excellent experience. The rooms are large and spacious, and the ones on the upper floors have terrific views of the surrounding mountains. It is set back from the street and very quiet. In addition, it has a lovely private garden to enjoy drinks and food. The restaurant is also excellent, with very good *real* coffee for breakfast and a very nice dinner buffet that varies from day to day. The service in both the hotel and restaurant is friendly and helpful.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. Only too happy to ensure we had a great time. The location is a 45 minute walk or a 10 minute cab ride to the central Leh market. The hotel is showing its age and really needs some dollars spending on it to bring it back up to other resorts around it.

Stayed at Hotel Adhrok in August for a group trip and had an amazing time! The place is super clean, the staff is really sweet, and the food was great too. Overall, a really good stay – highly recommend!

The staff right from the ever smiling subedar sahib sitting at the gate, to the stewards and the staff at the reception area all always welcoming you with a warm smile. As soon as you enter the resort you are embraced with the warmness and great hospitality at the Druk Ladakh. The food options available range from both international to Indian . The rooms are clean and tidy. The towels and linen in the rooms are tidy and without a speck. The place is in the vicinity of leh market, Shanti stupa,hall of fame and leh palace providing freedom to walk and explore the unchartered streets of leh. The resort also provides easy availability of two wheelers for rent as motorcycles are already parked in the campus which can be easily availed by contacting the hotel staff. Special gratitude to the manager Mr. Tashi who helped me plan the trip. I landed in leh without a clue only this resort in this mind and he took extra pain to get me the permits,arrange rental two wheeler services for local travel as well as prepare the itinerary from arranging the cab, places to visit as well as the stay at all other places. Mr. Tashi was not only helpful to the resident travellers but also took pain in arranging the same for the foreign travellers( special mention: Mr. Tashi was busy in arranging permits for the foreign tourists even during a public holiday)

We had an incredible stay at Lha Risa in Leh! From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt like a home away from home. The traditional Ladakhi architecture added so much charm to the experience. Lharisa Resort is a beautiful hotel which has a unique combination of luxury, comfort and culture. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay here to experience a peaceful stay with great hospitality. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful. It is surrounded by trees and oversees mountains. Getting up everyday to a sunrise has been a treat! It has wifi connection and on call service. As far as accessibility is concerned, it is really close to the airport and the main leh market which makes it a perfect choice. This was one of the best vacation for me! I am already planning to come back soon!

One of the best resort I have visited till now. I went with my friends and got a stay at one of there tree house and location of our room was absolutely perfect. The rooms were so clean, comfortable and the service was excellent. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. And of-course you would love the delicious dishes they serve.
The room service staff, chef, kitchen manager, receptionist they all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Specially Mr. Tashi Motup, he is so friendly and intracts with all his guests. He would make you feel like home. Thank you, You all had made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Excellent hospitality. Would definitely recommend to everyone. My experience here was just average. Hotel is decent, but the staff seems lost most of the times. Breakfast is also not upto the mark. Plus it's quite costly as compared to other hotels nearby Not recommended !!!

Pangong Hotel is located very close to leh market and centre. Without the hustle and bustle of the centre. The rooms are well maintained, the complimentary breakfast was good and kept changing every day and most importantly the staff made the state very comfortable. Ashish the manager, provided great service by extending my stay and my giving great advice on where all to go in Leh and how to get acclimatised. I'll be definitely choosing Pangong Hotel on my next trip.

This hotel is at a convenient location - not too far from airport, neither from the Leh market. (Double) rooms are good, not too big but good enough for two. There is a lawn to enjoy a sunny morning with tea. Food is awesome. Staff are very welcoming and efficient.

Hotel Hilltown is about 100 yards away from the main market situated in Upper Tukscha road. It's has very courteous and helpful staff. Amenities were star standard, food was great. Rooms were spacious too. Overall had a nice experience and will highly recommend it.

Nice and comfortable rooms. Good view from balcony . Hot water is supplied at the morning from 6 to 9 and at evening also. Breakfast and dinner are complimentary and buffet system is provided. Market place is just 5 min walking distance from the hotel. Here staffs are really helpfull .

Nice stay with great service and hospitality

ALERT!! CAUTION!! 0 HOSPITALITY AHEAD. Cozy corner is actually a corner surrounded by walls on all sides and therfore has no view. We were 12 people and faced a lot of issue. There is no availability of food or beverages at the hotel. We were not able to get a cup of tea even after the owner/manager Arjun told us that tea and coffee are available at the hotel. The owner tries to act very smart and take advantage of the extreme climate, however he is not smart enough to be successsful in his endeavours. Rooms were damp as the walls were having seepage. No drinking water. Gulazaar, the man who was available was a great chap but unfortunately the only one person at the hotel who could have been of help.

The only good thing is that the hotel is nerby the market. No staff apart from the owner himself. No food available. Not even the basics like water bottles were given only when asked for. Rooms dont have any view. Other great options available nearby. Try Malik Palace.

Full ratings for this place. Very near to main leh market. We stayed there for 3 days, staff is helpful and special mention for Arjun an owner of the hotel he helped us to find taxi for srinagar and for other stuffs too. Food from restaurant is also very good. Rooms are quite big and comfortable. They have water gizzers, so that you will have 24hrs hit water. Over all very good stay and i recommend this to everyone travelling Leh.

Awesome management and staff very friendly and courteous and they will provide best of their service while u r there help u and gives advice on how n where to travel around also. Rooms are okay in size and clean but there was smell come thru bathroom and also there was bug in my pillow i reported and they happily changed it😊 Especially i would like to mention the restaurant is best i had experienced they serve hot and yummy food of vast variety l. We had chole bathure, omlet sandwiches, coffee, lassi, onion parathas and what nit everything was delicious. On last day of leaving we had to leave early so they packed brkfast for us by 6am before there schedule opening of kitchen. Definitely recommend to all my frnd visiting leh as it's situated in main market of leh.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Cozy Corner when visiting Ladakh from America in July 2019. Our bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and food at the hotel was excellent. However, the hospitality impressed us most of all. The management, especially the owner Arjun, went beyond expectations, helping us secure permits, booking drivers for us, recommending food and destinations, and ultimately helping us to plan a trip we'll remember for the rest of our lives! It has taken me far too long to write this review, but this hotel is highly recommended!

It is located in the centre on the city. The old and new leh market is at walkable distance. The staffs were very attentive and professional.The rooms were warm and cozy and it was very comfortable stay in this hotel. The food was also good here. *The gift shops opposite to the hotel sells thing at very affordable rate(compare to the other shops in main market)

Had a wonderful stay at White House! De owner was especially helpfull and welcoming. He helped me a lot with fixing my trips and activities around Ladakh. I could even leave my luggage, when I went on a multiday trip. Further more the rooms were clean, the location was perfect and the kawha tea was amazing 🙏

Pros:- Nice place to stay, good location and staff are very helpful and amazing. Everything within walking distance, be it a bike shop, top restaurants and mainly main market. The nicest thing i enjoyed here is that it is bit inside from the main road which makes it very peaceful. Cons:- It has a bit shortage of staff bcoz of Corona period so they don't serve food in the room. Every customer has to go to their dining hall. The food is tasty and even you can find tonnes of nice restaurants nearby including the top most Tibetan Kitchen Restaurant.

I had an amazing stay at Noble house. The staff there were very kind, the food was always fresh and delicious with generous portions and the facilities are clean. They also have a beautiful balcony and one can see the amazing landscape of Leh from all corners of the hotel. I highly recommend this place for future travellers coming to Leh. Must visit and one of the best hotels in Leh. Thanks to all the staff there for making my stay in Ladakh memorable.

Noble house is located off fort road, a 5 minute walk from the main bazaar. It is a good place to stay in the summer since there is no internal heating. The host and staff are warm and friendly. They provided us with a portable heater and hot water bags to make us comfortable in the October cold .

The hotel was a little away from the fort road, at around 200m. So we had to walk that distance. But the Leh market was at walking distance where you can buy souvenirs and warm clothes. The hotel staffs were courteous and polite. The food, especially dinner was quite good and all of us liked it. The rooms lacked fans, and inspite of cold weather at night, we missed it during the day. The wifi was intermittent and not available on the 1st and 2nd floor during our stay. The hotel was almost always filled with guests from foreign countries. The view from room was also good.

Awesome place near the center of Leh. Nobel house is located in a quite alley what makes your stay here even better. The building looks really nice, but the best thing is the friendly staff. They help you with everything you need. If you need a bike, tours or information about Leh, they will provide you reliable information and get you the best deals. The rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. The shower does the trick and they have hot water. They serve breakfast and dinner which are both good quality. Next time when im in Leh I'll come back for sure!

Good hotel close to the center of the town. Rooms are clean and cozy with strong WiFi..Garden is a place surrounding by flowers, amazing for an evening tea and morning breakfast. Also the owner is a very kind and caring person and his staff are very helpful and always smiling. They organized a super tour to Nubra and Pangong Lake for us.

The hotel is ok in its price range and it is at a walking distance from leh matket. Room are decent but they don't have central heating, the staff will provide separate heaters in request. One more drawback is that in winters they don't have running water but only hot water buckets, however this situation is same in all hotels in this price range during winter.

A budget hotel with good rooms. Staff is short & only two guys are there who not only welcome guests but also take out luggage from car, serve tea n food in room, cook food. They are super over used.

Wonderful Experience at Leh Castle. Its a home away from home with nice food and rooms. Food is awesome just like home and you can also ask them to make food as your own desire. Hotel Antelope Leh is situated at a nice location but has pathatic management. Rooms are not clean, towels were dirty, furniture and carpet were dusty. You cannot walk barefoot. Food standard was worst. Dinner started at 8.30pm and entire food was cold. Owner was not ready to accept and sited cold whether reason for it, though it was May. In the morning we checked out at 5.30am and he charged for morning tea also, though breakfast was included in cost. Reason sited was that you cannot walk barefoot have breakfast at 8am, but tea at 5.30 is chargeable.Owner is rude and not ready to listen shortcomings and is happy for his tie up with ‘Make My Trip’ as later will source customers for him. My advise not to get in trap of Make My Trip or this hotel in Leh.

Worst ever experience to stay here for three nights since this property is in partnership with make my trip for the reasons best known to officials of MMT…why they have association with it . Dirty rooms , dirty towels, dirty water they offer which force you to purchase water bottles from them, horrible food which one can’t eat, rude behaviour of Mr Zubair who always defends himself and never ready to listen even any suggestions to improve.In short it was like a punishment to stay here…..

Small rooms, dirty bedding, linen, towels. No toiletries, no hot water in chilling winters, no central heating. Poor quality food, same repetitive menu every day, just one staff, poor service. No iron board, coddee Rude owner. Only good thing is location closer to shanti stupa. Make my trip fooling tourists by selling this hotel under deluxe category. Many good hotels in close vicinity of this place like - zypher, Casa Galwan. Tourists should book these hotels and avoid antelope like plague

We stayed at Hotel Antelope for 7 days and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. Zubair ji is a one stop solution to all your problems and an amazing human. Mohan ji and his team manage the hotel very well with a very polite and helpful attitude. The rooms are pretty decent with all the basic amenities at your service. The beautiful view of the Shanti Stupa and the Snow clad mountains is something to just keep staring at. Will definitely recommend this place if you are planning for a holiday in Leh.

Antelope Leh is an extremely cozy and comfortable hotel located near the Shanti stupa. Special mention about the homely food and extremely courteous staff. The owner Zubairbhai is always around to guide you and give you inputs about making your travel very interesting. Service is superb and rooms are neat and clean. I had stayed for 3 nights with my family (with my elderly parents) on the MAY of 2017 and we were bowled over by their customer centric approach. Thanks Zubairbhai & team for making our stay in LEH extremenly memorable.

I stayed in this hotel from 26 sept to 27 sept and from 1st Oct to 2nd Oct through Make my trip.Rooms are untidy ,bathroom doesn't have hot water.Staff is very rude.Make my trip should get rid of this hotel,even in standard holiday package they should remove it. The only attraction is the Shanti stupa near the hotel.

This is a lovely, calm and clean hotel with spacious rooms and a full service restaurant. Our family stayed here five nights and felt welcomed and at home.

To find this place is a challenge but once you do reach. It's a small piece of heaven with apricot tree within its vicinity and an organic field and ample parking. The owner David and Naomi makes sure all your needs are answered. David himself has had ample amount of experience in hospitality and a bird lover. Should tap his experiences in the field to fix up a custom itinerary then the cliched ones. Best of stay.

We had the most comfortable stay at snow view. Both David and Naomi were so welcoming and took care of every little thing. They helped us with our itinerary and other bookings as well. Even the food here was better than anywhere else in Ladakh. A special thanks to all of you for taking such good care of us.

We three friends stayed at Zimskhang Villa for three days and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location—close to Leh Airport—was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the manager, Mr. Lalith, who spoke good English and addressed all our concerns. Just a heads-up: don’t expect cosy, spicy food like other parts of India—but it’s decent and suits the local climate.

Hotel Zimskhang Villa in Leh is a very good hotel with excellent service and responsive management. We’ve been in Leh for a week, having ridden from Kargil. The Nangsay is a wee oasis in the dry, dusty Ladahk. Staff are super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about cricket! We watched several T20 matches together (including Nz losing 😔). Hot water, great rooms, close to town. Good value.

The Nangsay Hotel is located on the Upper Tukcha road in the main city of Leh. The property is very well maintained and clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dorje Rangdol, the manager, is very helpful and knows all the local places to visit and things to try. He also helped me get a bike at lower than market rates and was happy to extend my stay and price match as well. Overall, great budget stay.
