Tacky Jacks Gulf Shores is a breezy waterfront eatery that specializes in seafood and offers bar bites, beers, and live music. It's one of the popular businesses in the area, known for its allergy-friendly dishes and Hot Fun Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding. With locations in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, it's easily accessible for visitors to the area.
Went to Tacky Jacks for lunch on a Thursday afternoon this past week. We were greeted and seated right away (table of 4). Our server Abbey was great, she gave drink and food recommendations that were delicious. Our daughter who is extremely picky even ate her meal! We enjoyed the fun atmosphere and great food. Service was quick and prices were good. Whenever we are back in the area we will definitely be back.

The best restaurant we ate at in gulf shores! We found parking really easily however we went around 4pm. Environment was super colorful and the place was decorated with duct tape. Immediately got seated and food came out quickly. Our waitress, Katie, was super nice and we joked around and got to meet “manager in charge of the day” Bryan! Staff was super sweet and nice. I got the steamed crab legs and it was super good as well as the butter, corn, and potatoes!!!!!! The rest of my party loved what they got as well! We will always remember this place and will be back next time we visit.
Katherine — Google review
Such a good place! Our server, Abbey, was so sweet to us and is an amazing server overall!! The food, like the Jack stack and Jack Benny were top notch! I highly recommend this place to anybody staying or visiting Gulf Shores. P. S. They have a gift shop and a piece of tape to tape anywhere in the restaurant!
Kayy — Google review
Nice waterfront breakfast. I went here on Monday for breakfast. They weren't busy, got seated and drink order taken immediately. Very friendly staff. I ordered the Shrimp Omelette. It was really good, the seasoning on the shrimp was excellent. I also got a Bloody Mary, which was good, but I really enjoyed the pickled green beans that were in it. If you want to have a nice, relaxed, waterfront breakfast this is the place. Would highly recommend for locals or visitors.

Every worker we came in contact with was friendly. Our waitress did a good job. Food was reasonably priced, delicious and came out in a timely manner. Save room for the salted caramel cheesecake
C M — Google review
This restaurant is an amazing place to eat, and I highly recommend it! I ordered the wangs, and they did not disappoint! Our server, Abbey, was an absolute delight. The atmosphere was amazing, I felt like a friend the entire time! The tape lining the walls of past happy customers is an amazing touch. Tacky Jacks is an amazing restaurant for anyone in the area! Five stars!
Thomas R — Google review
We just had breakfast at Tacky Jack's. it eas our first time ever trying this restaurant, but after passing by the Gulf Shore's location and seeing the cool appearance and vibe, I was intrested in trying it. The food was great. Our server Josh was amazing. He was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We will return for dinner sometime when we are back in town.
Amber H — Google review
We should have known when we were given the “side eye” as we walked up… The first hostesses we saw acted like we were interrupting them, though the restaurant was not busy AT ALL. Our server, Michael, was amazing! Friendly and on top of things. The food was “ok”. My husband and I both got fish and it was not hot, just kinda room temp/warm. He ended up with food poisoning. We got fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were good. Nothing to write home about. Probably will not go back. It could have just been an off night, but other than our server, it was not a good experience.

The Original Oyster House Boardwalk Shopping Center offers a laid-back dining experience with Gulf and Southern-style seafood, as well as a kids' menu. In addition to the restaurant, the boardwalk features several local shops offering gifts, clothing, spices, sauces, and beach accessories. The Original Oyster House restaurant prides itself on serving high-quality seafood prepared to perfection every time. Their menu includes a variety of fresh local seafood, steaks, chicken, salads, and pasta dishes.
We had a great time dining last night. We had a party of 6 and arrived at 6:30pm. We didn’t get a table until 8pm, but that was to be expected. All of the staff were friendly and kept our cups full and tables cleared. Do yourself a favor: get the mozzarella sticks and the salad bar! The cheese sticks are hand breaded and then topped with a glorious amount of Parmesan cheese. The salad bar was $12 for all you can eat/as many trips as you need!

We had a pre-wedding dinner with our wedding guest here. I wanted to make a reservation but because of the summer crowd reservations were not accepted. We were able to get seated after a bit of a wait. The parking was difficult. Our server was nice and I think she was able to get the orders right. My hubby and I visited a few months before this visit in July. Our waiter, Stephen was extremely friendly. We were hoping to see him again but he told us he doesn't work the evening shift. The food was really good and the portion sizes allowed for leftovers.
Renita — Google review
We have been here several times and it never fails to be a great experience. There is usually a wait, but they give you a buzzer and you can grab a drink and go do some shopping while you wait. I had raw oysters for an appetizer and the soft shell crab for my meal with baked potato and salad bar for sides. The others at the table got the shrimp bake, stuffed flounder and crab stuffed grouper. It was all cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server was Mr. Rogers, and he made our experience even more enjoyable with his excellent service and fun conversation. Highly recommend!
Whitney P — Google review
This was our second time visiting the oyster House. The first time we stopped by an order to appetizer sampler. It was so good our waiter was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. The second time we visited was for our pre-wedding dinner. We had a pretty large party. I'll waitress wasn't that good. But the food was pretty good. But overall still with highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or looking for good seafood.
GrubandgowithG — Google review
My husband and I decided to try oysters for the first time and this place did not disappoint!! We had the oyster sampler plate and loved it. My husband ordered the meal with the mahi mahi fish, and I ordered a sushi-grade tuna steak, and it was literally the best meal I’ve had in a while. I was also surprised at how amazing the cheesy grits were! Our server Kim was phenomenal and made our experience even better! We will definitely be going back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Gulf Shores.
Mariana B — Google review
Our server " buster brown" was AMAZING!!! ate there a few nights ago and forgot to make the review. Everything was delicious only negative thing i could say is the oysters were very very small but they tasted good. That stuffed grouper he recommended was so good 🤤
Brittany G — Google review
Original Oyster House Boardwalk is a fun and delicious experience for all ages! My family and I have eaten here my whole life, and I love it every time. They have quite the extensive menu. Some of my favorite foods here include the fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried grouper, fried crawfish, fried alligator, blackened or grilled mahi mahi, red beans and rice, collard greens, and hush puppies. The servers are always so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for menu options and information about specials. They also have delicious sweet tea! The food is fantastic, but the atmosphere is what truly makes this place fun and unique. Seated along the Little Lagoon, Original Oyster House Boardwalk has large windows with an open view of the water. Watch herons, spot fish, and keep an eye out for alligators while you dine among fun fishing themed decor. If there is a wait to be seated, you can check out the gift shop, walk along the boardwalk and check out other fun shops, or feed the fish at the end of the deck. As a child, I always enjoyed “alligator hunting” while looking off the deck and coloring on their fun kid’s menus while we ate. I highly recommend checking out the Original Oyster House Boardwalk to anyone looking for good food and family friendly fun in Gulf Shores!

Warning! Not just a restaurant! Tourist trap destination and shop while you wait vibe. That said... This was a solid tourist destination Our server was friendly and attended us proficiently. It's a loud busy high energy place. Tons of things all over the walls and lots of things that need to be dusted. The food was solid! We enjoyed all the variations of shrimp that we had. The friend flounder was really good. The tartar sauce seemed to be pre-made and it was only ok. We both had baked potatoes which were classic and delicious. The creamy grits were incredibly cheesy. I had the salad bar as my side and it was absolutely delicious. The potato salad and pasta salad were bomb! It was just hit all my nostalgic salad bar needs.

Lulu's Gulf Shores is a lively restaurant known for its vibrant atmosphere, offering a mix of hearty burgers, seafood dishes, and sandwiches alongside cocktails, beer, and wine. The eatery boasts a fun and funky setting with sandy dining areas among palm trees and live music. It features authentic coastal recipes by Lucy Buffett and offers gluten-free options.
We had an all around wonderful experience! Our server Billy was great and quick with good recommendations. I loved the atmosphere with the live music and we were able to be right by the water. We all enjoyed our food. The shrimp and grits and shrimp salad were so good! My kids got the crab melt and fried 1/2 & 1/2 both enjoyed it and were stuffed. The picture is of the Shrimp Salad and Peach Sunset drink. We got lucky on timing. No wait at all shortly before noon but left around 1 and there was a line.

We loved Lulu’s so much that we went back a 2nd time while on vacation in Gulf Shores!! The atmosphere is amazing not only for adults but also for kids and family! Food was outstanding and can’t say enough about the service!! Loved that they were so close to the water and beautiful views!! We will definitely go back!!!

Great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is nice, the breeze was relaxing and everyone on the staff I encountered was very polite. I just grabbed a burger and fries but it was spot on. I felt the prices were very reasonable considering where it's located.

So far the best shrimp & grits I've had in the area. William was an excellent server. Loved the tribute to Lucy's late big brother. Parrotheads need to always flock here at this one particular harbor.

We waited about an hour and a half, but it flew by since we had plenty of time to play arcade games, shop, and take photos—it was a great time! The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the wait. Our waiter, Zac, was awesome—super attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty. Definitely recommend this place!
Stephanie S — Google review
Great food. Great atmosphere. There was live music the night we came. Very family friendly. The appetizers were amazing. I absolutely loved the Fried green tomatoes. Will be returning everytime we visit Gulf Shores
Kevin T — Google review
We didn't wait long at all for a table, & there's plenty to do while you wait. Everyone enjoyed their meal & our girls (7 & 12) thoroughly enjoyed the arcade. I recommend the shrimp & grits.. It was delicious & had plenty leftover for breakfast the next day! Girls had jerk chicken sandwich & cheese quesadilla they both enjoyed & hubby had the Keywest bowl he said was very good. The gumbo wasn't great.. I don't prefer a tomato based gumbo though.
Daphne R — Google review
The food is overrated and overpriced! My onion rings were cold. The crab melt lacked crab meat! The smoked tuna dip isn't smoked but it was edible. Let me warn you that it is served with saltine crackers and not the usual tortilla chips. However, the waiter was really nice and the atmosphere was beautiful. Just don't go for the food.

Known for its fresh seafood market and prepared dishes, it has been an institution for almost two decades. The restaurant has won awards for its reasonably priced family menu and offers a kids' menu with unique options like fettuccine alfredo.
We visited here on a busy evening (which I understand now why!). We walked up and originally were told it would be an hour wait for 2 and we were bummed but then a spot opened up at the bar so we got seated immediately! Wow! So that was very cool! The real highlight, though here is the amazing food. My meal I ate here was by far the greatest I had the whole weekend I was in town. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits! You gotta visit here!

It was our first trip to Gulf Shores and this restaurant was recommended by several family and friends!! The bread is soft and so tasty one brown loaf and one white!!! Honey butter is a must 😋 The appetizer we had were the blue crab claws and were so good!! My husband and I got the snow crab legs and they were cooked perfectly with new potatoes. We ate there 2 nights in a row!!! The Big Beach craft beer is sooo smooth and delicious. The Riesling wine was also a good choice!!!
Julie R — Google review
First time coming here, but not the last. I had the fried seafood platter and my mom ordered the stuffed shrimp. We shared an order of gator bites. OMG! The best gator tail I've had. The platter was more than I could eat. Mom barely finished her stuffed shrimp, but she did. The food here is so fantastic. I only wish we had found them earlier in our trip. I could eat here every day. Friendly staff got us seated promptly and or starter was on the table fast. Looking forward to coming again next year.
Bryon H — Google review
We had a great experience here! Kasey was our server and she handled it like a champ. We had 2 kids meals 2 appetizers and an big platter to share, our tab was $90 something with tip. The food was great, not the regular commercial beach/pier food you see nowadays in touristy areas. We loved it and will come back when we come back to the area. 😍😍💯
Vikas C — Google review
This was an excellent choice for seafood! The Snow Crab legs were Awesome and Bill's pecan crusted Grouper was Excellent as well! We also had Great service! Love this place! We will definitely be back!😊
Tammy D — Google review
Blue crab claws were great! Rolls, hush puppies and service were awesome! Crab cake tasted good but could have been cooked a little longer, it was a little undercooked. Good choice of local beers. Fried green tomatoes were soggy and bland and I could not eat them, the fried fish, shrimp and scallops were just ok.
ChrisandKerri C — Google review
Food was incredible and very fairly priced for the area. We were able to feed 9 people full meals for under $200. Our waitress was a doll and we can’t wait to come back for lunch again next year on vacation. A true highlight of our week. (Pictured is the Parmesan crusted flounder, au gratin potatoes, and the best hush puppies I’ve ever had).

I had the grilled Yellow-Fin Tuna with Black-eyed Peas & Sweet Potato Casserole for lunch on 6.21.25. We were seated immediately and as usual, the food/service were absolutely fantastic! *Returning customers for many years*

This Funky Junky Redneck Joint offers a variety of options, including the famous Swamp Soup and award-winning burgers. The restaurant has received accolades from Bays Telegraph, making it a hidden gem for both locals and tourists seeking an exceptional dining experience.
Excellent local restaurant - great food and service at reasonable prices. Our family who lives here had never been but mentioned they were always busy so they were likely very good. They were spot on! The staff was very nice, we were seated immediately and our service was great. The gator bites were amazing and in general the breading across all the fried foods was unique and tasty. I enjoyed everything I had here - great choice!

Wow! What a great experience. Absolutely you can get a drink and a quality meal and be out the door for less than $25 a person with tax and tip. The food was GREAT! They gave us samples of the chef’s special “swamp soup” and it was a culinary experience I am not soon to forget. Our service Garçon was friendly, fast, and professional. The portions are large. Pictured is a half eaten senior fish fry. Check it out for a quality dining experience that doesn’t break the bank.
Joan T — Google review
Nice place to eat for good price! Even had free piece Of chocolate cake today! (Couldn’t eat cuz already ate too much!!) We had the grilled white fish with the Cajun sauce. Also came with coleslaw and hush puppies and soup. They have some of the best hush puppies I’ve had. The grilled white fish was OK with creole sauce was ok. Not my favorite. The coleslaw was really good too. Overall, not too bad 1 meal fed 2 of us for $20! Damn good price
Daneen E — Google review
I started with a Wacky Tacky Punch which was fruity and delicious. Garcon was our server and did a great job. First, we received a complimentary cup of Swamp Soup which I only tasted because it contains beans, but it was really delicious. My meal was grilled Grouper Dinner served on yellow rice and included three delicious hush puppies, cole slaw and OMG Sauce. The piece of grouper was huge and perfectly grilled.
Malia N — Google review
Ate here recently and enjoyed my fried shrimp meal. Shrimp was cooked well, coleslaw was good, and fries were good, but I did not get the hush puppy. Atmosphere is interesting - lots of older unique decor, but seems to be haphazardly thrown out there. There is also what appears to be an old bar in one corner that is now just storage open for the public to see. I would return again, but only after I’ve tried a few other local places - all who claim to have the “best fried fish/shrimp”.
Jody G — Google review
The ABSOLUTE best kept secret of places to eat while in Gulf Shores. If you want overpriced mid food, go to the other flashy loud places. This is like that one place that you love going to in your home town, because the food is awesome and the service is top notch. The prices are what you would expect from a local joint. I had the OMG Po boy, it was awesome, especially with their homemade tartar sauce (the best I've ever had). My wife got the stuffed crab, which she loved, and the hush puppies were bomb .com. Gotta try the swamp soup, it was really good as well.
Jay F — Google review
The fried soft shell crab is delicious . Had to go two days. Both meals were excellent. Next visit to Gulf Shores I will truly go eat there again.
Sherri D — Google review
The food was scrumptious! The fried green tomatoes were thick and fresh. We ordered the catfish basket and fish and shrimp basket. Each came with hush puppies, french fries, cole slaw, and a cup of swamp soup...dont judge it by the name or taste! I'm from texas and had never heard of it, but slap yo' mama, it was delicious! 😁😁The baskets were large enough to share if you'd like. The service was superb, and the atomosphere was quiet but nice. We will definitely be stopping here again!

Step into the Sunliner Diner for a taste of 1950s nostalgia and classic American diner fare. The bright, retro-style restaurant features turquoise-and-white padded booths, vintage Ford Sunliners out front, and a jukebox playing hits from the era. The menu offers all-day breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, sundaes, banana splits, and apple pie.
Marley my server was amazing. Made good recommendation. Confused me to try strawberry cream soda! Absolutely amazing! Yummy. I ordered hamburger just ok and fries cold. But cream soda great. Atmosphere great. And service exceptional. I’ll come back but not for hamburger!

Such a cute place!!! The Reuben and the Barnyard Burgers were delicious, the onion rings were yummy too. Turtle Sundae with the Brownie was so good! Alice was our server, she was terrific! Answered all our questions and took great care of us!!

Sunliner has become a must every time we are in the area! Look for the pink Cadillac outside and neon signage on the strip. When you come inside its just as amazing with more neon lighting, old fashioned booths, a full size vehicle, jukebox, and an impressive bar. The visual is so fun! Breakfast (or brunch) is always fantastic. From omelets 🍳 that satisfy your favorite ingredients, to amazing waffles, burgers that are anything but ordinary🍔, and some of the coolest ice cream options 🍨 you've ever seen... the food is so good! And, for those 21+, there's a fun drink menu to compliment your meal.🥂 Creatively, your menu is an old newspaper 📰 with fun stories, trivia & facts on the front cover. Also, the seating area inside is huge so dont worry about getting a table. This is fun and an amazing throwback destination for a really good meal.

Like walking into a 50’s diner! Staff is dressed the part, food is amazing, onion rings a hot and great as well. The atmosphere is awesome, even have a jukebox and 50’s music. Music was before my time but my mom listened to it and it was great. Pretty nostalgic, I loved it. I did order my burger with no bun, but it’s the Barnyard and it was great.
J T — Google review
This was one of the best places we visited on our vacation. Stephanie, our server, was amazing and the food we ordered was fresh and great. My jukebox burger was juicy, and full of flavor. Fish and chips were crispy with just the right amount of dip to make the fish crunchy on the outside and soft and melty on the inside. Definitely highly recommended for the atmosphere but also for the food!

Cute, nostalgic, must stop!!

The Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails is a laid-back hangout featuring Gulf Coast seafood, burgers, and a bar with a patio. Situated in Gulf Shores, the restaurant offers a unique beach experience with its distinctive white sand beaches and 32 miles of coastline. Additionally, it boasts stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico at dusk from its location near the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Miramar Beach, Florida.
We visited the Beach House intentionally during happy hour to try some different food than the typical main drag tourist food (while also saving a couple of bucks). Our group was 6, and while we only had one cocktail, we each had 2 happy hour appetizers. The happy hour appetizers offerings are the same as regular, but smaller and $6 each at the time of our visit. I had the Bama Rolls and the bacon wrapped shrimp. My wife had the spin dip and the chicken wings. The food was hot and tasty. The service was good. We had to wait for a table, but we wanted to sit inside and watch March Madness so it was fine. I really liked the Bama Rolls. The pineapple chutney with the shrimp was awesome too. My wife loves the wings and she was fond of the pita chips (not crispy fried, but freshly toasted). During happy hour (2-5) this place is a great midday snack!

Ordered take out tonight because we didn't have time for a sit down meal. Anytime we visit The Beach House, service, food and atmosphere is always great. You get plenty of food per meal and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for take out or dining in.

Out of all the restaurants we went to this one was our favorite. The best food we’ve had and great service as well. The bacon wrapped shrimp was perfect. I had the chicken tacos and they were so good. My husband had the gulf fish and shrimp and he said it was delicious! My daughter and her boyfriend had the blackened chicken Mac n cheese and the crawfish Mac n cheese, they both loved their food.

This place has been a staple in my family's trips! They have seen my babies grow as grand as their appetite. They have always left us happy, encouraged (a wonderful server gave encouraging words of advice to my daughter a few years ago,) and given full bellies every visit. We always look to this place as a must-visit and can't thank the owner and staff for everything they do! Wish I could truly put how valuable this place is and hope it becomes a generational tradition. Love this place!

Everything was delicious!! Much better than the touristy places we went to! I wish we would’ve skipped them and had this place all the other times instead! Everything seemed like they cooked it all not frozen food. Very good and great prices! Definitely would come again!

Fabulous experience!! Service was great! All the food was amazing! We had the Artichoke Dip appetizer, which came with freshly fried pita chips. We both had burgers, which are ground in house. And I had the key lime pie and my husband had the chocolate cake. I had a cocktail to drink and my husband had a draft beer. Everything was sooo good!! We will definitely be back! Update: We liked it so much we came back on this trip. And, of course, got the Artichoke dip appetizer again. So good! I was actually wiping the inside of the bowl with the pita chips to try and get it all. Their outdoor dining area is very nice and relaxed. Also, try their Pina Colada!

Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. First I want to say we went in a Tuesday. We have never been here before. The waitress did not tell us a single thing. Awkwardly asked us if we wanted drinks so we did. They were ok. Pretty sure my spiked lemonade was lemonade with syrup. The Pina colada was decent. Awkwardly she asked if we wanted an appetizer, I asked for a recommendation and she shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know, maybe chips and queso” so we got the chips and jalapeño queso. That was disappointing. Chips with chili powder covered on them. Luke warm gueso with a chopped jalapeño. We then decided we wanted to try a different app. We got the fried spring rolls. Soggy, cold, no flavor, with some bottled bbq on the side. At this point we weren’t sure about getting a meal. So we waited for the waitress who then comes back and says “you want tacos, or are you done?” I guess I’m done then. She obviously didn’t want to be there and at the point neither did we. I found out after we left from other people that they had specials going on. I did not know that tuesdays that had taco specials. The hostess would not acknowledge us when we left. Some random dude sitting at a table with guest also told us to have a great day. I’m glad he acknowledged that there were customers. Very unwelcoming environment from the start.

We had it all! Bacon and pineapple wrapped shrimp, $2 Yuengling, chips and salsa, pulled pork sandwiches, fried shrimp, burgers, po-boys, tacos, and lemon peppered shrimp with crawfish mac. Everything we had was delicious! There was not one thing to complain about. Seating was great staff was over the top friendly, it was a 10 the whole way around! It’s a bit down the island on the opposite end but it’s nice because it’s quiet. Our whole group left full and happy. The prices are great too!

Picnic Beach Bar & Grill in Gulf Shores offers a relaxed picnic-themed dining experience with wood tables and faux grass. The menu caters to various dietary preferences, including options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with gluten allergies. Dishes like charred cauliflower seasoned with lemon and garlic tahina and buffalo cauliflower wings are popular starters.
I mean, you stand in line to order your food....which is a bit disappointing, especially when they ask for a tip ( really????). Except that everything else was great!!!! Tasty food, nice variety to choose from. The boba tea was a bit blend. All tastes just tasted the same. There is no milk in the tea, so it was kinda weird.

Absolutely loved it! Ate outside and food was out supper quick and was amazing!! Owner was great when we ordered. Would definately recommend and come back! Peel and eat shrimp were amazing and my hubby had the grouper sandwich and was excellent! The drinks were yummy and very flavorful!

Love the atmosphere and subdued modern beach aesthetic! You order at the bar and choose your own seat. They have a well rounded menu & excellent flavor. We had the taco sampler and all 3 were delicious! My fav was the Mahi Mahi with shrimp in 2nd and chicken a close 3rd. The chips & salsa were giving a Chili’s vibe which is my all time favorite!! Only thing I would change is the amount of salsa with the meal. It was too little for how delicious it is 💕💕

Super cute, beachy place for some yummy drinks (alcoholic and non). There’s picnic tables on the porch and a couple swings with a kid area, more picnic tables down below the deck covered with umbrellas, and also plenty seating inside. Large variety of drinks, i tried one of the lemonade teas which was delicious and also one of the popping boba teas. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The dunked wedge with chicken tasted as expected, and the chicken was juicy. Unfortunately, the Mediterranean bowl didn’t met expectations. There was a lot in the bowl but the flavors didn’t mesh well together and the fish was dry. The servers were very friendly. Overall, it was a good experience but there’s room for improvement in flavor combos.

We visited this past August. This was our first time in the area and we wanted to try something local with a view. The food was good. I had the calamari and a grouper sandwich. Mom had the fried Gulf shrimp basket. We thought all three tasted great and were fresh. I hope you like steps, because there's plenty of them to go inside. Once inside, they have no customer service. You have to order at the counter and pick up your food when your order is done. For the prices they charge, you expect some kind of service, but forget about it, serve yourself. I just found this to be ridiculous. At least I didn't feel the need to tip anyone but myself, and I'm a good tipper. The view was okay from that height, but all you can really see are other businesses.

Fantastic food, lovely service and beautiful views! Can't beat a beach view and a spot of the Gulf with your meal 😍 love the variety of dishes here, goes beyond the traditional fried/grilled fish/shrimp you find in most spots and they have a great drink menu, too. Always stop here on the way back from biking at the state park for a tasty and (often!) healthy bite! We enjoyed the blackened shrimp basket and carribean bowl with some palomas today!

The Hangout Gulf Shores is a vibrant beach spot famous for its oyster cook-off, live music, and lively atmosphere. Situated in the Alabama Gulf Coast, it attracts visitors from all over the United States who come to enjoy the stunning beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The venue hosts an annual music festival but also offers year-round entertainment with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and family-friendly activities such as games and live music.
I had such a great experience at The Hangout on the Beach in Gulf Shores! Our waiter, TJ, was absolutely amazing—friendly, kind, funny, and very informative. His menu suggestions were spot on, and he made the whole experience even better. I truly wish him and his fiancée nothing but the best in their future endeavors. The overall vibe of the restaurant was awesome—fun, energetic, and welcoming. I loved seeing the staff and birthday guests dancing on the tables, which made the atmosphere feel like a celebration. They also have live music at night, which just adds to the fun beachy vibe. The food was fresh and delicious! We ordered the spinach dip, seafood boil, and salad, and everything was fantastic. One thing to note: parking is limited since it’s shared with the beach, so be prepared to walk a bit. But honestly, it was so worth it. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Gulf Shores, and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again!

Super cool atmosphere with the thousands of ducks, matchbox cars and pez dispensers! They’ve remodeled & enclosed the far wall adding multiple TVs for sports & a large bar with hand crafted beverages that include mocktails. The view of the Gulf and breeze is where it’s at! They even have foam that happens every hour for the kids. Lots of cool photo ops as well. Service from Courtney was great and the food was good though I did expect more flavor from the Bayou burger. Kids said the chicken tenders were “just right.” We’ll be back!

The food is very good. Had fried shrimp and wife had a burger. She had the pulled pork burger and it was tasty. The fried shrimp was excellent. The staff entertains to the point of getting guests to dance on tables. There is also live music on the outside stage. The view while eating we could see the beach and ocean. We had a lot of fun.

I had the shrimp and grits at The Hangout in Foley, and it was absolutely outstanding. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and seared with just the right amount of char, giving them a smoky, savory kick. The grits were creamy and smooth, serving as the perfect base for the rich, flavorful sauce that tied everything together. The sauce had layers of flavor—slightly spicy, a little tangy, and full of depth from the vegetables and seasonings. The presentation was beautiful as well, with the shrimp circling the grits and a garnish of fresh greens on top, making it feel just as much a feast for the eyes as for the taste buds. Every bite was comforting yet elevated, a true Southern classic done right. If you’re visiting Foley, this dish is a must-try. It captures the heart of Gulf Coast cuisine in one plate. I’ll definitely be back for it again!

First time going to the Hangout to have dinner yesterday evening and it was phenomenal! Ricky made our experience absolutely fantastic! Extremely tentative and kept us laughing the whole time just making sure we had everything we needed as well a great time! 100/10 rating! Will certainly go back every year we come to Orange Beach. Our kids loved being here and it was such a great experience.

I went here on a date with my daughter, and we had such a great time! It also looks like a super fun place to go with a group, perfect spot to HANG OUT for hours! I loved the environment; it’s lively, fun, and everyone seems so happy (I would be too! 😂). Not to mention the beautiful view! The shrimp boil was delicious—personally, I would have loved it to be a bit spicier, but it was still amazing. The burger was juicy and full of flavor as well. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I visit Orange Beach!

April was our server and she was amazing! She was friendly, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere inside was also amazing. Food was absolutely wonderful. You could tell the seafood was very fresh! We have never been and want to go back even though we’re only here for a couple days on vacation. They have fun things to do as well. They played a game with everybody in the restaurant and winner got a prize! Overall, such an amazing experience.

Food 4/5 You get a lot in 1 meal is enough for 2 people. Service was great. Not sure if it because I was paying for 6 that they added the tip. In Louisiana it usually 8+ table. Maybe they just add tip to all bills not sure. Atmosphere was fun, but it does get really loud so maybe not great for a date to get know someone. We were there at 6pm on a Saturday, and they were singing dancing on tables it was great fun for the whole family. When they wasn't doing that there was someone playing outside they had lot of speakers inside playing them and it gets really loud. Could be that is was dinner time on a Saturday, not sure if they do that on weekday nights.

Bahama Bob's Beach Side Cafe is a charming seafood shack nestled among the sand dunes, offering a delightful mix of Caribbean and Southern-style cuisine just steps away from the water. The cafe provides both indoor and outdoor dining options, allowing guests to savor their meals in the cozy restaurant or on the beach.
Nicole and Nashera almost made us leave, the hostess staff is terrible rude and didn’t seem to care at all. We were told 15 minutes for a table if 2.That turned into an hour. We were patient until we saw parties arriving and seated ahead of us. We had to go check our name twice. They were unapologetic and kept us guessing. We were finally seated and the hostess staff just told us the last table in the corner outside. We had to seat ourselves!!!! Trinity saved the trip. Awesome waitress and apologetic. Great service from her and the food was excellent!!! Fried pickles for appetizer. My husband had fried shrimp and I had crab legs. It was all VERY GOOD. You should fire the other 2!

This is our new crab leg place in Gulf Shores!! Made a quick over night trip to the beach with a couple of the granddaughters. Everyone wanted crab legs and shrimp. Got 3lbs crab legs and 2lbs of the red shrimp came with corn and potatoes. Got it to go. Had a couple margaritas at the bar while waiting. Bartender was awesome, great personality! but…I am embarrassed to say I forgot her name. 😏🤬 We devoured every bit of the food. Crab legs were seasoned perfectly and every single section was filled with plump meat. They cracked easily and the meat came out in whole pieces. Shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly. Will be going back to get our bartenders name and will update this review. 😉 This place is a MUST VISIT

Our server was nice, but the ladies at the hostess stand were rude snd dismissive. There is a price difference between paying with cash or card, and frankly, I wouldn't go back and spend anything. The cost of the food didn't seem too bad, but the quality of the food we received was so below par. My husband's fish was dripping in oil- the bottom of the plate has a layer of oil and the breading was so think and dry it wasn't good. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone considering how many other seafood places there are around!

Parking at the restaurant = $6. Hostess’ first question, “where would you like to sit?” Answer, “Inside please”. She said 10 min wait. After about 10 min they take us to an outside table. I told her that we had asked for inside and she said that’s a “lot longer wait” so we said we’d go ahead and take outside. We are a family of 6 and she asked us to split up to two tables, or we could squeeze into one table. All the while, a party of 13 and party of 4 came in and both were seated immediately inside. Food was about average. Price for me and my wife: fried shrimp dinner and fried fish dinner, two drinks, two teas = $100 with tip. Waitress was great! Bright spot of the visit. My recommendation, find another option.

Bahama Bob's is a unique beach side restaurant experience. They have a good assortment of food on the menu for the seafood lover and non-lover. We sat outside which was a great experience since the weather was great (mid-October). There was an extremely loud family screaming behind us but that is no fault of the restaurant. Our server, Richard, did an excellent job. If you've never been, you should definitely visit Bahama Bob's.

We came here for the coconut shrimp and it did not disappoint! We arrived around 4.30 and did not have to wait very long. We sat on the deck and it was nice & breezy, our server was THE BEST. He was super attentive and very friendly. Everyone at the table ordered shrimp and everyone left extremely happy. I also had a Bushwacker that was great! Portions were a good size - We all ended up with left overs. Highly recommend this place while in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach.

The restaurant also participates in the Alabama Oyster Shell Recycling Program to contribute to building new reefs along the coast.
This place was above and beyond and will always hold some of our best memories. The service here was top notch, bar tenders were great, our server Amanda was so hospitable and welcoming. She made this lunch so special for my kids and family and something we will always remember from this trip. I think the seafood itself was just okay. The gumbo was delicious. The crab claws were my favorite item I tried. I think the ambiance of the restaurant is what makes this restaurant better than it is. Our server was really nice and helpful but disappeared towards the end of our stay. We needed a box and he never showed up again. A different server gave us a box.

Sea N Suds is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Gulf Shores! My family and I have been coming here for over 25 years. The food and service has been consistently good for as long as I can remember. Whether you are just coming off the beach for a quick lunch or heading out for a family dinner, Sea N Suds has something for you. I always enjoy my meal with a cup of their plentiful seafood gumbo and a glass of sweet iced tea. Leading up to our most recent trip to Gulf Shores, I was literally dreaming of their peel and eat steamed shrimp. It is SO good- perfectly seasoned, and deliciously paired with a tangy and balanced cocktail sauced. I have had many different dishes at Sea N Suds, including but not limited to: seafood gumbo (see video), peel and eat steamed shrimp (see photo), fried shrimp, popcorn shrimp, fried crab claws, fried oysters, oysters on the half shell, royal reds, fried mullet, fish of the day, fried catfish, fried okra, fried cheese, fried mushrooms, hush puppies, onion rings, coleslaw, and virgin strawberry daiquiris. You literally cannot go wrong with any of these choices- or anything on the menu for that matter. I recently also tried the piña colada on the rocks (see photo), which was sweet and delicious! Everything here is always served fresh with a smile! Some of the servers at Sea N Suds have been there since I was a young child. If that doesn’t scream positive atmosphere, I don’t know what does. Due to the popularity of this Gulf Shores staple, there is usually a wait to be seated. But don’t worry, they have plenty to keep you entertained while you wait, including beach access, a deck with stunning ocean views, a fun bar, and a lovely little gift shop. I have never felt the dread of waiting to be seated, but rather been excited to go and watch the gulls and dolphins while sipping a fun drink prior to a fantastic meal. Sea N Suds is a must for me every time I’m in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. I highly recommend giving this wonderful restaurant a try next time you’re in town!

Shrimp Basket is a popular seafood chain that first opened its doors in 1993, just a short distance from the beautiful Gulf Shores beaches. The restaurant offers a wide range of fried seafood dishes and features an oyster bar. From appetizers like crab cakes and fried coconut shrimp to grilled or blackened seafood platters, the menu has something for everyone. With over 20 locations across the southern region, Shrimp Basket is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and affordable prices.
The food here was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress was very sweet! And we love the atmosphere. My husband and I just got a plate to share. The shrimp we got was delicious and flavorful, and the funnel cake fries were delicious! We ordered them with the chocolate sauce, but our waitress gave us a cup of caramel sauce as well, she said she likes to mix them together. We're on our honeymoon, so I'm not sure when the next time we'll be back is, but if we're ever in Gulf Shores, I'm gonna beg him to come here again!

Had an amazing dinner at The Shrimp Basket and couldn’t be more impressed! Even though the place was buzzing with a steady crowd, we were seated at the bar quickly and without any hassle. Our bartender, Taseia, was a total pro, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from start to finish. Melissa, the manager, went above and beyond; not only did she check on us, but she also suggested fantastic dishes that we ended up loving. She was incredibly friendly and even recommended a few local spots to catch the fireworks. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp Fries—crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor. For our entrees, we had the boiled shrimp platters—cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The portions were generous and the prices were super reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of seafood we got. All in all, this spot nails that classic Southern seafood vibe. Great food, great value, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

The Shrimp Basket in Gulf Shores delivers a fantastic, laid-back "Margaritaville" vibe that's perfect for a casual seafood meal. The shrimp we had was good, and the service was genuinely excellent – truly a standout. We also appreciated that the prices were moderately reasonable, offering good value. The restaurant itself felt clean and vibrant, adding to the very good overall atmosphere. My only real consideration is the menu's strong focus on fried items; if you're seeking non-fried options, your choices are more limited. However, for those who enjoy classic fried seafood in a lively setting, it's definitely a great spot.

As always I absolutely love this place and love love love the boom boom shrimp so highly recommended. The atmosphere is always electric but last night it was even more incredible due to our Server/ bartender and I believe she was also the Assistant GM Melissa. Her outgoing personality and her natural comedic presence was felt and greatly enjoyed. Felt like it was a long lost friend and just catching up. Look forward to seeing our friend Melissa next vacation and the team at the Shrimp Basket. Til next time my gulf shores extend family!

This is my go to spot for a nice affordable sit down lunch when Im in the area. Me and my wife was down from Tennessee this past weekend. When lunch time hit Saturday we knew Shrimp Basket would be our choice. We stayed in Orange Beach so it made sense to slide across the street. We went into the Orange beach location with the expectation to be seated quickly because it was fairly empty. We watched as 2 employees passed by without a greeting or acknowledgement. Now normally this would not be a big deal but on this occasion, it kinda bothered me. Luckily for us this location isn't very far. We were greeted with smiles from the staff all around. Our server Raven was a great help. She pointed us to a great seafood market and made sure the general manager came out to greet us as well. We always purchase a couple bottles of their signature hot sauce, its delicious, I highly recommend. The long Island tea I had was on point as well. We got our case of hot sauce and left with full bellies. I know Orange Beach would have also had tge same great coconut shrimp but service should also be key to a good dine in experience.

Their menu features a variety of Gulf seafood options, including steamed royal red shrimp and combination platters like the Chart Your Own Course Platter.
This place never disappoints. While looking over their lunch menu, I decided to branch out and get non-seafood items. The hamburger steak did not disappoint! The fried okra was some of the best I've had. My boy loved the fried fish sandwich and chocolate pudding as well. This has been on our annual list of restaurants for several years and will definitely continue to be.

Honestly the food I got was really disappointing for 165$ I got two of the "steamer samplers" and one only came with half a crab, which tasted really weird. Both kinds of the shrimp were very bad, was very rubbery. Everything is tasteless, the butter wasn't even good. The hostess was nice, friendly staff but what the hell this was terrible for a seafood boil.

After trying some places on Dauphin Island we decided to try our luck at a place in Gulf Shores when we visited Fort Morgan. Food was DELICIOUS and worth the money paid. Far from "cheap" at $18-$50 a plate depending on what you order but we left FULL. Unlike other places we spent similar amounts of money and walked away hungry. In the photos below the "empty" spot on the sample platter is where the corn and potatoes were when served...that dish was based on "current market prices"-with 2 types of shrimp and crab legs. The alfredo plate was a kids plate-she didn't care for the sauce but her sister did so if you have a picky eater avoid that. Service was great, Friendly and fast. Will definitely make this a place we return to!

Visited here with my grandfather and his friend after a long road trip. Food was so tasty! We were served by Andy/Tiffany and the service was great. Ambiance was nice. I'd definitely come back!

From the minute we walked in till the minute we left was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was great. Our server Jay was phenomenal and the food was outstanding especially the alligator bites and their house dipping sauce😋😋we both had the fried shrimp platter and were pleased with it. It was cooked perfectly . We had the bread pudding as well and it was really good.

This is a great place. Ive been many many times. I always go to the bar for top notch service. The oysters are the best in the area no matter if you are looking for raw, fried or my favorite, chargrilled. Secret is in the sauce. The salads are pretty good as well as po-boys. Service is really friendly and rumor has it some of the shuckers have trouble counting. LOL! Many thanks, to the Great bunch of guys behind the counter! It also has seating outdoors with a covered back deck looking over the Inter-coastal Waterway. Well worth the drive from Pensacola! I will definitely be going back. Urban Cowgill July 2025

First time visitor to the area and Acme was highly recommended. I wanted something different and ordered the Butter Bean Platter with smoked sausage. Oh my goodness! It did NOT disappoint, at all! I also tried and loved a chargrilled oysters (first time for an oyster!) Never had anything like it before. Austin was a great waiter. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our dining experience at Acme. Our waiter was top notch, atmosphere was amazing, food was delicious and fast, bar drinks were great! We had the chargrilled oysters, shrimp, fish and strawberry margarita. I do recommend to get there before 6 as they fill up quickly.

We hit up Acme recently for my mom's 70th birthday, and while the location is awesome, right there on the water with a nice atmosphere, that’s pretty much what stood out the most. We were a party of five, so I got to try a good variety of food, and honestly, most of it was a letdown. The redfish special was decent, the 10x napkin roast beef and shrimp po' boys was disappointing and way overpriced for what they were. I'd say the chargrilled oysters were tasty, but they were small and again way overpriced. Rockefeller soup tasted like it came straight out of a can. The only solid players of the night were the Paloma and Voodoo Mary cocktails. The BOO fries were pretty good as well. We came back because our first visit about four years ago was great! But this time, it just didn't hit the same. I get that prices are up everywhere, but I still expect the food and service to match the bill, and they absolutely didn't. The service was lacking, our hostess set a negative tone when she offered to seat us outside in the patio. Which we were happy about since the weather was perfect, except she decided to put us at the only empty table in the patio directly under the hot sun, even though the whole patio was practically empty. When I asked politely if we could move, she gave off this vibe like we were inconveniencing her. We ended up just picking a better table ourselves. That unnecessary little moment kind of soured the start of the whole birthday dinner. Bottom line? The food was forgettable. Nothing stood out like it did the first time. We left feeling like, "It was fine... but definitely not worth the cash." I really wanted to love it again, but Acme just fell flat this time around.

We had a large birthday celebration here and everything was perfect. We made reservations as it was Shrimp Festival weekend but we wouldn't have had a long wait anyway. Those off-bottom oysters! I have been dreaming about them ever since. They were small, salty and SO flavorful that I didn't even bother with a cracker. The crab claws were a little on the small side but they were still very good and there were plenty to fill me up. It was a wonderful meal and I can't wait to have more of those oysters.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Our waiter Cameron was awesome. He suggested the charbroiled oysters! OMG, never had before and they were so awesome!!! Don’t know if I can go back to raw now ever again lol! Watched them shuck them right there. My husband had the Jambalaya. Also excellent! Will go back again for sure!

The Pink Pony Pub in Gulf Shores is a popular late-night spot known for its beachfront location, casual atmosphere, and delicious seafood and pub food. The restaurant's pink exterior with a pony painted outside adds to its charm. Whether you're looking to enjoy the air conditioning indoors or soak up the sun on the wooden deck overlooking the surf, this beachfront establishment offers a delightful experience.
We stopped here while spending time at the Gulf Shores beach. Cute pink building close by to the beach, with a nice view. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. My group and I all really liked our food. They got fried gulf shrimp and blackened gulf shrimp. The hush puppies were delicious. The best any of us have had anytime recently. The fries were seasoned and perfectly crispy. I ordered the blackened fish basket and it was as delicious as I could’ve hoped for.
Rachel B — Google review
I’ve been coming to the Pink Pony since I was a kid, and it’s always held a special place in my heart. So naturally, when I came home to visit, I was excited to stop by and relive those memories. Walking in, I was thrilled to see that the place still looks the same—there’s a charm and familiarity that makes it feel like home. That said, I do wish a bit more care was put into the food and drinks. Respectfully, the Bushwacker I had was almost undrinkable, and the oysters I ordered weren’t properly shucked—there were shells in nearly every bite. No house-made ranch, and the overall menu felt uninspired, almost as if it was put together without much thought. The location is unbeatable, and the vibe has all the potential in the world. But it feels like the quality of the experience, especially when it comes to the menu and service, hasn’t caught up. Our server wasn’t particularly friendly either, which added to the sense that things have slipped. Despite that, I’ll always come back—this place is part of my history. I just really hope to see it taken to the next level someday. It truly deserves that.

Located right on the beach!! The food was really good!! My husband got the crab cakes and said they were to die for!!!! I was a little surprised about the crab claw basket when we got the receipt since it didn’t have the price on the menu. $45 for a crab claw basket seemed a bit pricey but my niece enjoyed it. The service was not great since it was a very busy place. It took a long time to get good, or to get refills. Make sure you go a little early so u can get on their wait list to get in too.

Great place! The drinks are AMAZING!!! Highly recommend the Bob Marley and key lime colada! The burger of the month was a pimento cheese burger with fried green tomato and I loved it! The grilled fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Not to mention the best fried pickles I’ve had in a long time! Not too salty but very tasty!!! Staff was mostly friendly and happy to answer questions. The food took about 40 minutes to come out but the place was packed and the drinks and appetizer came quick. The patio is amazing and has a beautiful view of the pier

We came across this place when looking for somewhere to eat on the beach. Before being seated the hostess informed us they were out of about a third of the menu items. We decided to stay since there wasn’t a wait. The food, service, and indoor atmosphere was ok. The outdoor atmosphere was better because of the view of the beach and ocean. The seating indoors was plastic folding chairs and tables, outdoors was wooden picnic tables. They were not the most comfortable but I guess that is the look they were going for. The location right on the beach is pretty much what this place has going for it.

We came for the Nachos, and they were out of cheese? So we stayed and got burgers, they were good when they finally came out. Although when our app came out, no one every gave us napkins, utensils, and our waiter disappeared for about 20 minutes... we noticed we were not the only table awkwardly waiting. Other tables, with other waiters went up to the bar to ask for drinks etc.. location is cool, theme is cool, but a bit run-down overall with foldup tables/chairs on the inside. It took a really long time to get our food and the place wasn't super busy. Parking is in a small paid lot in between them and Hangout. We were rather dissapointed. I think if it wasn't "famous" and on the beach, there's no real reason to go.

Had the Brisket burnt ends gravy breakfast, with eggs and cheese, potatoes, and a pancake side. This was hands down the best gravy I’ve ever eaten. The pancakes were cooked perfectly as were the eggs and potatoes. All for a great price. We will make this a stope every time we are in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our visit to Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama was an unforgettable day from start to finish. We started the morning by renting e-bikes from a local company called Paradise Pedal LLC, and it could not have gone more smoothly. The owner was one of the kindest and most accommodating people we met on our trip. He helped us get set up with two great little carriages for our three-year-old and seven-year-old, gave us a wonderful deal, and even delivered the bikes right to us so we could start our ride at the park. That kind of personal touch really made the experience special. The e-bikes were in perfect condition and a total blast to ride. The park itself has miles of smooth trails that wind through some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. We passed lakes, boardwalks, shaded paths, and open views that made every turn feel like a new photo opportunity. The kids had the best time riding in the carriages, and we all loved how easy the e-bikes made it to explore without wearing ourselves out. It was peaceful, fun, and such a unique way to take in everything the park has to offer. After our ride, we stopped at Woodside Restaurant, which is located right inside the park, and it was the perfect ending to our adventure. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it has that relaxed Southern charm that makes you want to sit back and stay awhile. We ordered cheeseburgers for the kids, and I have to say they were some of the best cheeseburgers we have ever had anywhere along the Gulf Coast. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The kids devoured them. The housemade potato chips were another highlight — crispy, golden, and addictive. We honestly could have eaten a whole extra bowl just of those chips alone. Everything about the experience at Woodside was top notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food came out quickly, and the quality was far beyond what you would expect for a park restaurant. It felt like a hidden gem tucked inside this gorgeous natural setting. Between the scenic ride through Gulf State Park, the outstanding service from Paradise Pedal LLC, and the delicious meal at Woodside Restaurant, our day could not have been more perfect. If you are visiting Gulf Shores, I highly recommend doing exactly what we did — rent your e-bikes from Paradise Pedal LLC, explore the trails at Gulf State Park, and finish the day with cheeseburgers and chips at Woodside. You will not regret it.

Little restaurant at the state park, affordable and unique options, reasonably priced. Nice little break from the heat if you're walking/biking the park. Drink the Powerade, youll need it! We refilled a used water bottle and came across someone suffering heatstroke on the pavement side of the trails who took it and a spare water bottle.
Mariama P — Google review
Overall, it's a great spot to grab a bite after a hike or bike ride. I ordered a Caesar salad, which tasted good, but was surprised to be charged $8 for a small piece of chicken—making the total around $20. That felt a bit steep. Also, it's unclear whether you're supposed to grab your own utensils and napkins or if the staff provides them. The outdoor seating area is really nice and adds to the experience.

We stopped at this spot for lunch after the arts festival in the park nearby. It was delicious - we split a salad and a chicken club sandwich. Honestly both were better than I anticipated. Super fresh and quality. You order at a counter and they give you a number to put on your table. You can pick between indoor, covered patio, or outdoor. Super nice spot - staff were friendly and came around occasionally to tidy up the other tables. Overall worth stopping by!

We saw a TikTok recommendation for this place so we popped in for a late lunch. It is a very small dive bar with just a few tables inside and some high top seating around the patio. The food is standard bar food and it is not as good as it looks on their website. We ordered the baked meatballs, bruschetta, and a spicy bbq flatbread pizza. Everything was decent- it seemed mostly like a prep & heat situation as nothing was very seasoned. The service was excellent though. Since the space is so small, the conversations of the other patrons took over the whole area.

This place has a small footprint, but is very quaint inside. The pizzas we had were about personal pizza size, but still filling. Wife loved the alfredo chicken and I enjoyed a pepperoni add crumbled Italian sausage. There is bar seating for about 8. Maybe seating for 12 inside. There are outdoor options as well. Pleasant surprise since we wanted a break from seafood.

Best place we ate during this vacation by far! The live music was good. The waitress took her time with my parents who are older and hard of hearing. The cute little shops were a nice touch. Nice setting. Tried to get a drink while waiting for our table but gave up - bar service was SLOW and bar tender was very rude. Looked under staffed considering it was a holiday weekend. Food was good, not great- I had the special which was snapper with a caramelized onion risotto. The onions were red onions?? Which don’t really caramelize well and gave it an odd flavor. Was quoted an hour, but only took 40min. Well worth the wait! My husband and his son wanted endless crab, and this place didn't disappoint. No wait to get another plate of crab legs. Food was great, service was great. Definitely will come back. I did go back to get the catfish which I had asked about and was told it was real catfish. You have to be careful because these places do tell stories and yeah, I went back the second night. It was not real catfish. They are using Asian catfish or Basa as their catfish and they’re a little deceptive about it, but it was still OK and I ate it as long as I know what I’m ordering. I don’t mind but I am very specific and I like real catfish Great atmosphere and food was delicious and they accommodated my request . Was good size portions.the gumbo had a great dark roux I did miss crab in their gumbo but I enjoyed it!

Big Fish Restaurant – A Delightful Dining Experience in Orange Beach, AL My wife and I recently dined at Big Fish Restaurant in Orange Beach, and from start to finish, it was a truly outstanding experience. I ordered the red snapper, perfectly cooked and served atop a fresh bed of spinach salad with a tangy vinaigrette dressing. The flavors were balanced and satisfying—light yet rich in character. My wife chose the three-tailed fish, accompanied by sautéed spinach and creamy mashed potatoes. She loved every bite, and her meal ended on a high note with a decadent chocolate dessert—“very rich,” in her words, and an indulgent treat. Our waitress was an absolute gem. She took the time to listen to my wife’s dietary restrictions and made excellent suggestions to accommodate her needs without compromising flavor. That kind of attentiveness made the meal all the more enjoyable. We timed our visit just right—no wait time to be seated, which gave us a chance to relax and savor the cozy atmosphere from the get-go. The ambiance was inviting without being overly formal, striking just the right balance for a leisurely evening out. From the flavorful seafood to the thoughtful service and smooth dining experience, Big Fish Restaurant more than lived up to its name. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you're in the Orange Beach area and looking for top-notch seafood with a welcoming vibe, this spot is a must-try.

Big Fish is probably our favorite restaurant to go to when we're down at Orange Beach, AL. No matter what you order on the menu, it's always amazing. Even my daughter's grilled cheese was awesome (and I don't usually like grilled cheese). I do recommend a reservation as this spot is popular. We ordered a couple of the fresh catches of the day finished with the Big Fish style topping, fire cracker shrimp (with added spice), ribeye steak, and grilled cheese. Thanks for the amazing and memorable dinners, Big Fish. Everything was amazing!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. The food was exceptional, the menu had so many great seafood options - but the sushi, the grouper, AND Jolly Rancher martinis... say less. Would hands down come back and would recommend anyone thinking of eating here to do so!
Kassie H — Google review
The food is absolutely divine! I highly recommend the grouper with the asian twist. The cucumbers were also outstanding, and the sushi was a hit. We love coming here and can't wait to come back!

6 top there for a birthday party and we had: appetizers of beef tataki, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, dumplings, and crab claws. The only seasoning on anything of those dishes was the sesame oil on the beef. Then we each got entrees and drinks. I can’t speak to what everyone thought about their entrees, but… I worked for a sushi restaurant in college, so I can tell just by looking at a spicy tuna roll whether or not it will be good. And when they sat my plate down I was bummed. Overall, not a bad place. Good service, it does all the things of being nice and to be “the” place around town. Locals rave about it. But personally I don’t get it.
Nikki W — Google review
My wife and I stopped here during our honeymoon last week and loved it. She had the golden tile and I had the triple tail. Both were amazing!! Adele (I believe is how it's spelled) was awesome!! She was very informative and suggested the different dishes. Will definitely be back if in the area!!!

Wolf Bay Restaurant at Orange Beach is a bustling stop known for its local seafood, sandwiches, and salad bar. It's a long-running venture that offers the highest quality ingredients with a charming historic ambiance. The restaurant is hosting special culinary delights for Mother's Day Weekend, featuring dishes like Herb Crusted Prime Rib and Strawberry Shortcake Bushwacker to celebrate all mothers. With fresh seafood and local flavors served for generations, it's the perfect place to gather with loved ones and enjoy dishes like gumbo.
The service was top tier! The food was excellent! The Salad Bar is nothing like the restaurant in Foley but it's still very good. It just doesn't have the Broccoli Salad, Shrimp Salad and other extras or the Bacon. The meal we ordered was excellent. The food was delicious and seemed fresh. The Restaurant was extremely clean too. I highly recommend giving this location a visit. We each had the Small Mix with a Loaded Baked Potato and salad bar. The Small Mix is Oysters and Shrimp.

Service and atmosphere are great. We sat on the covered patio. The salad bar is good. I would just watch your head for the overhead cover. No light, pretty dark to see what to grab. Lobster roll wasn't what my kiddo thought was mixed in with different things, and served open face on sub roll. Catfish and coconut shrimp were really good. Hubs had the platter. Kids pizza is a frozen pizza, food could use some more spices.

Our first time visiting Orange Beach,we tried two different seafood restaurants and the third seafood restaurant was Wolf Bay, the food was awesome,we liked it so much we came back the next day also. I have seen people post reviews about being expensive, if you are looking to spend under $30 for two people you need to go to Long John Silver or Captain D's fastfood...this is genuine good seafood and good seafood cost $$..1st day we spent $100 plus tip , 2nd day $80 + tip. The service was top notch👍..we had more food than we could finish. This will be our Seafood choice when we come to Orange beach. It was a great experience both times.

Wolf Bay is a Baldwin County restaurant rite of passage. I was a regular there with my family throughout the 80s and 90s, back when they served green beans with every meal. 🍤 Their Orange Beach location is on the faux water, a small lake on Perdido Beach Blvd, right across the Highway from the Gulf. Wolf Bay has made some nice upgrades to this establishment through the years. The outdoor seating area and bar has soft lighting with a view of the condos across the street. The inside is colored in soft blue tones with a salad bar parked across from an actual bar. Covid erased many salad bars from the restaurant landscape, but this one still has it going on. Just as great as ever- their salad dressings are wonderful. 🍤 There’s two stars of the show here. Star One is the fried food. I literally dream about their fried Gulf Shrimp, and it’s been fried the exact way probably since they opened the doors in ‘73. Star Two is the tartar sauce. The perfect compliment for any of their fried dishes, it has totally been the gold standard of sauces for me since I was 13-years-old. Still tastes amazing. The sweet potato fries were really nice on our most recent visit. And so was our server, Chris, who hustled around the restaurant while entertaining everyone with conversation. 🍤 Over dinner, we reminisced about how much my dad loved Wolf Bay. With a friend visiting the area who had moved away from Fairhope, they once drove 45 minutes one way to dine there five nights in a row. Great old memories and a fantastic meal in the Orange Beach location, this shrimp’s for you, Pop! Wolf Bay Lodge is just as excellent as it has been all these years. It’s most definitely a must do.

This was our second time going and we really enjoyed it. I’m not from around here so finding good places to eat at while here is always fun! We started out with the fried green tomato’s and they were delicious, however the cheese sauce served with them felt like cheesy soup. We’d recommend getting the sauce on the side! He got the pork chop dinner with mash potatoes and he really liked it. I did the pick two platter with the whitefish and coconut shrimp and it was really good. I got the parm truffle fries as my side and it was okay I probably wouldn’t get it again though. We wanted to try the Chocolate Buttercream Cake for dessert, but they were out which is okay!! (We understand) Overall, we had a great time and our server was amazing. I don’t remember her name, but she was very short and sweet and always had a smile on her face!! We recommend this place for sure!!

Clean, bright, fresh decor and quick, friendly service set the stage for a great meal! We enjoyed fresh oysters, salad bar and tasty entrees. The three of us all had something different--each was pleased with our choices. Service with Tayiah was fantastic! We did not feel rushed, but she hustled from table to table giving big smiles and great service. We will be back!

Atmosphere and service were great. My wife LOVES the Shrimp and Grits - this is our second time to Wolf Bay (first to this location) and both times it was incredible. I had the Mahi sandwich but it was a little overdone and dry (tasted like chicken). I also had a bowl of gumbo - it was okay, but nothing to write home about.

A pretty good restaurant. I visited for the first time this month while in town for work and vacation. I followed signs to the outside patio and waited for a hostess to seat me. I had to flag someone down to be seated, which wasn’t a good impression. I was finally seated and greeted by the server after a while. I wanted a drink from the menu that was no longer available, so that was a bummer. But the cha cha dip was very good. The crab stuff flounder was ok. The flounder is filled with bones, so fair warning. The truffle parmesan fries are simply delicious. The mac and cheese was good; just needed a little salt and pepper. The lemonade was gross. I don’t think the high prices match the quality of food and service and atmosphere. It’s more of a casual restaurant in my opinion, but because it’s near the beach that may be the reason. Some places are great for solo diners…this one isn’t so much in my experience. A couple who arrived just before me was assisted by a host. Whereas my service was average as I was ignored for a while until I was proactive in getting a table. Very nice view of the beach condos with great weather around dinner time in the offseason, if you’re eating outside. I loved that. For the view and scenery, I would go back…just with a guest because I might receive better service.

The Ugly Diner is a classic American bar and eatery with a laid-back downtown vibe. It's known for its simple yet delicious menu featuring soups, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The diner offers comfort food done right in a casual and fun atmosphere. One of the highlights is their Shrimp and Grits dish made with Gulf Shrimp, Bacon, Tomatoes, Chives, and creamy gouda grits.
This place is a hidden treasure. The Shrimp and Grits were some of the best tasting I've ever had. The crowd was relatively small for a weekend, which made it even better. Our waitress was friendly and the service was quick. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. This will be a regular part of my Gulf Shores visits.

Ugly Diner is awesome!!!! Sean that waited on us was terrific!!! We were waiting at Ducks, and they told us we had to stand outside and we couldn't wait inside. There were probably four tables and one guy moving slow to clean them. We looked for somewhere else because we didn't want to stand outside and we found the Ugly Diner. The owner is a legit actual chef!!! He is back here cooking and a chef jacket the entire time and the food is amazing. The prices are very fair and affordable. We went for breakfast and that may be the best grits I've ever had in my life. They do a lunch menu and some specialty items and we are going to have to come back for lunch. Sean shared their story and how it's a family-focused business. We are coming back on this trip for sure and will continue to support this business. This is now on our list every time we come to Gulf Shores of where we are going to eat breakfast!

I can not say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant. This is my favorite breakfast place in town. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is just right clean and well lit. Can we talk about good food ? The peach cobbler French toast is amazing. The biscuits and gravy are to die for. The ham omelette has chunks of real ham. This place is very much with your time. I have been several times for breakfast. I will definitely be back to try lunch in the future
Clarence C — Google review
This location is excellent for breakfast and brunch visits (they also offer lunch, but I’ve never eaten lunch here). I ordered a simple stack of pancakes, and they were nice. Other members of my party ordered French toast and the HamHash, which was the special for the day. Each thought the food was excellent, especially the French toast. We did wait about 20mins for this visit on a late Sunday morning after church around 10:30. Every other time I’ve visited, there hasn’t been a wait to sit down. Customer service was excellent, as the head cook came out and greeted customers a time or two. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend visiting sometime for a brunch with a few friends or family. Visited in October of 2025

Overall, our experience was very positive. We placed our order quickly, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up, and our food was delayed while other guests who arrived later were served first. Although this was initially frustrating, the staff responded promptly once we brought it to their attention. The food itself was excellent, and the restaurant handled the situation graciously by covering the cost of our meal. Their professionalism and commitment to customer service left a strong impression, and we truly appreciated the way they resolved the issue.

This was our first visit. It’s a little place but we got a table pretty quick despite being busy. The food was reasonably priced and you got ALOT for your money. I got the Steve’s burger. So good. Also while sitting there I witnessed the staff greet a regular so kindly. One of the employees even walked an elderly regular to her car and carried her to go box for her. It was overall a great experience. Definitely will come back next time we are in the area!

Italian restaurant
Papa Rocco's is a well-known spot in Gulf Shores, serving a variety of American casual eats such as pizza and oysters since 1985. Despite their humorous self-designation as the 'home of warm beer and lousy pizza,' the restaurant has gained popularity for its local charm and tasty food. They offer daily lunch specials, happy hour, and live music every night.
Great food. We ate here twice on our trip to Gulf Shores. The pizza is good . A small pizza was enough for two adults to share or for one teenager. I had the meatball sub on our second visit and it was very good. The staff was very friendly both times we went.
Jacob F — Google review
The service was good, but unfortunately, the dining experience was marred by a couple of issues. The area where we ate didn't have the best smell, which affected my appetite. The pizza was overly salty, the shrimp was not shrimping and the frozen drinks tasted like they were made with lower-end tequila – definitely not our favorite.
Neka N — Google review
I had high hopes based on hearing locals love this place. Tried to order take out at 7:15 pm on a Thursday and no one answered the phone. Drove there, parked in the last spot and ordered at the bar. It was crowded, loud and all the staff looked exhausted. Must have been a crazy day. Food was good, not great. Prices were decent. I guess I was underwhelmed. Chicken Parmesan, spaghetti with sausage and Italian salad is what we ordered.
Angie Z — Google review
This was a fun place! It is basically a sports bar that serves great food. I had the manicotti with Alfredo sauce and my husband had the All Meat pizza. Both were excellent, as was our appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms. Though they were technically stuffed, they were really more like 'filled' (think gooey pizza topping - really good!). The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was wonderful, and they even had live entertainment that night. As we were leaving, we saw the sign to 'Feed the Fish' for 50 cents in their pond out back. How cool! Definitely taking some quarters next time, because we will be back.
Robin S — Google review
It was so loud the waitress could not hear our orders. The Dr Pepper tasted funny, never got a new one. The waitress said she knew it would take awhile to fix it and offered a different drink. The food… wow, it was quite the let down. Based on the reviews I was surprised by how bland it was. It took a solid 45 minutes to get our order. My son’s wings came out cold. Between the waitresses not acknowledging ANYONE nor the other staff it took longer to explain that the food was cold. For the 1.5 hours there we saw two other tables send their food back because it was cold. Fortunately, this is our last night in Alabama.

Visiting from Indiana and our kids wanted spaghetti for dinner. That being said if we lived here we'd probably eat her 2x a week. It was our favorite place visting gulf shores. Literally perfect for our family. Pizza, pasta, burgers, seafood. I mean where else can I get my oysters rockefeller & Alfredo. We loved this place. Food was perfect and service was even better. We will 100% be back

Such a fun place with music and great service. Awesome Happy hour prices probably the best in town. Ordered food To-go. It didn’t disappoint. Recommend the Lasagna, spinach Alfredo pizza, and the stuffed mushrooms!!! Check them out!

We had an excellent dinner at Papa Rocco’s! The pizza was hot and fresh and the spaghetti was a hit with the kids. Great oyster selection too. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently to keep us updated on our food. It did take a while to get the food, but everything was hot and fresh when it came out and we expected to be waiting a bit as they were quite busy. Would definitely be a place we would return to and would recommend!

Brick & Spoon in Orange Beach is a stylish and contemporary chain that offers a delightful Cajun-Creole breakfast experience. The menu features colorful and affordable dishes with a Louisiana twist, such as baked brie bruschetta, chorizo and scrambled eggs breakfast tacos, eggs Benedict with grilled chicken and creamed spinach, soft shell crab BLT, and handmade cheeseburger with house aioli.
The host Robby (ie?) was a doll. So very sweet. Our server, Emily C. was a gem, as well. Very sweet and was efficiently managing several tables. We had a mimosa flight and spiked lemonade flight and wheeeeeewwwww! We got every penny worth! The restaurant was a little slower than expected, but our service, drinks, and meals were so good that we didn’t mind. We ate the honey mustard chicken wrap and breakfast tacos. We drove from Pensacola and overall, had a great experience. The atmosphere was fresh with good vibes. The music was great and not too loud. Highly recommend trying this place out!

The ratings on this place got us excited thinking we were about to have a great breakfast. Unfortunately the reviews were much higher than deserved based on our meal. Our food was bland and boring. I got the blackened shrimp eggs benedict and my wife got an omelette. There was a total of five small shrimp and they were not blackened and had very little spice. The omelette was good but basic. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to have conversation this is not the spot. The main dining area was extremely noisy. It sounded like a high school cafeteria the day before Spring Break. Our search for a great breakfast spot in Orange Beach continues. I will say the one redeeming quality was our server. She was attentive and very sweet.

We enjoyed a late breakfast/early brunch arriving at 9 am. There was plenty of parking available. We had no trouble getting seated although there were many others dining on Sunday morning. Our party of three was seated quickly. We tried the western scrambler and Caribbean scrambler with the fire roasted grits. Both dishes were tasty but the fire roasted cheese grits stole the show! They were creamy, cheesy with a hint of smoky. The thing we liked best was the addition of corn to the grits which was a yummy surprise! The coffee was delicious as well. The brunch menu looked tempting. We were all happy with our food and the price. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back!

The food was fantastic. The restaurant was great but what really impressed us was the server. We were on our way out of alabama and got here at opening hour. About 4 other groups walked in and she absolutely killed it. Nikki needs a raise. We got outstanding service and the food and drinks were a bonus! Make this stop if you're ever in town!

Brick & Spoon in Orange Beach absolutely lived up to the hype, family that lives in the area recommended that we checked it out and we know why. The deviled eggs were next level; creamy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a must order starter. I had the Bama Chick sandwich and it was incredible, crispy chicken, just the right amount of kick, and packed with flavor. The eggs Benedict options were equally impressive, perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and generous portions. And of course, the mimosa flights were a fun (and tasty) bonus. Great variety of flavors, all super refreshing and well balanced, perfect for sharing or just sampling a little of everything. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience was a standout. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Brick & Spoon is a must for brunch in Orange Beach. We’ll definitely be back!

The Steamer Baked Oyster Bar is a renowned diner in Gulf Shores, offering a delectable menu of steamed and baked crab legs, shrimp, and oysters. The cozy restaurant provides a homestyle setup with a covered deck for patrons to enjoy their freshly prepared seafood dishes. With an emphasis on raw, steamed, and baked seafood, the chefs at The Steamer showcase the freshness and regional flavors of their offerings.
Found Steamers almost by accident and so glad we did. Tucked just behind the giant souvenir store on the main intersection in Gulf Shores, It was a Monday night and we sat on the patio (covered and screened) and were seated right away. Very comfortable and casual. The food was all very good. We had charcoal grilled oysters, which were excellent. Tried the Bushwhacker which was also excellent. The red snapper blackened was as good as any I’ve had and the corn, potatoes, and green beans were all very good. For the reviewers that downplayed the sides, the Butter Sauce on the table (and maybe a little salt, pepper, and hot sauce) made them all scrumptious. Service was great, and attentive. We plan to go back and bring our entire family.

The Steamers Baked Oyster Bar offered a good dining experience. Their shrimp was particularly enjoyable, and the food quality overall was good, complemented by good service. While the Gulf location suggested better seafood pricing, we found the prices relatively high. The atmosphere was slightly underwhelming, but didn't detract too much from the meal. 🦀

Good place for large groups to sit inside or outside on the patio and have many options for seafood and also non-seafood options. We got a table pretty quickly for a group of 8. I really wanted baked oysters and they have an option to mix baked oyster flavors. I tried the cajun, mexican and parmesan. They were all tasty but the cajun with the sausage was my least favorite. I ordered a blackened scallops entree, but unfortunately, it was overcooked so I didn’t eat much of it. The rest of our group enjoyed their shrimp and steaks. Great sweet tea as well. And received very attentive service.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to dine at a restaurant run by actual sloths, look no further. I’m convinced the waiter/bar tender took my order, then went home for a nap, binge-watched a show, and came back just in time to deliver my food 45 minutes later lukewarm and looking suspiciously like something SpongeBob flipped at the Krusty Krab on a bad day. The drinks? Mid. Not terrible, not good, just existing. Like they were mixed by someone who read the recipe once and decided to freestyle. By the time the food arrived, I had spiritually evolved into a different person one who no longer knew hunger, only regret. If you enjoy slow motion dining experiences and crabby patty cosplay meals, this is your place. Otherwise, pack a snack and a pillow. You’ll need both.

We are originally from Louisiana and we have come to Orange Beach every yeah for the past 5 years. Every time we have come we try something local and its always just been. Meh, being from a food capital (not New Orleans!) We like our food and pretty much gave up on finding good, flavored food. Until we found this place. THIS WAS AMAZING! I can honestly say this will now be our yearly spot to splurge and devour. The pizzas were SMOKING hot, the cheese had the best cheese pulls and the flavor. Everything mixed so well together. We got 4 drinks, 4 pizzas, some cheese bread and some criscostix and paid less then 130 dollars. And we left with A LOT of leftovers that we are for breakfast. We will definitely be making this spot a yearly hit! So much better then the tourist spots that are just loud and over priced (we have a family of 5), this is a phenomenal place. The cashier even told us that what, if we order again they get really busy so call when they open and make an order for a certain time of the day to bypass the wait, which is a good idea. Its a small place and when we got there we lucked out because there was only one 4 top open. We will definitely be taking her advice in the coming stays!

I’m a legitimate pizza expert so believe be when I tell you. Canned mushrooms 🤮, super cheap cheese, extremely cheap sauce, worse than all the major pizza chains. The fact this is a functional business on the beach in a prime location is a joke and you should take your business elsewhere. They just want your money, they don’t care about pizza…

Can't speak to the atmosphere as a family member picked the order up. I'm not a pizza fan (or at least I wasn't) but, this was a quick and convenient option for our family of four while enjoying a beach day. I ordered a steak and cheese sub for myself, and a large 5 topping pizza and a 10 inch cheesey bread for the others. The steak and cheese was excellent, and after trying the cheese bread and pizza, I can say that I've found a pizza i LOVE!! lol.. wish there was a Crico's back home. Crust was perfect, sauce perfect, perfect amounts of toppings.. nothing at all to not love about anything we got here.

Good food! Friendly staff! The pizza crust is well done but not burnt, the cheese is perfect and the sauce is mild. It's a good bite of pizza. Also ordered the Italian sub and the beef and cheese sub. Both were prepared perfectly. You can really tell these guys know what they're doing! Worth the stop!

We did pick up on our last night of vacation. BUY THIS PIZZA! I’m a pizza connoisseur! This is a ten. Gluten free was good! I personally SLAMMED half a large of pep, mush and banana peppers. SO good and the people there were busting their behinds to get the orders out, correctly the first time.

We got a build your own large pizza and an order of the hot wings with extra ranch. Portions of wings and ranch are more generous than most. Pizza crust really held up to the toppings and it was a great dinner choice after traveling all day. Delivery time ran about an hour, which was OK for us, but if you’re in more of a hurry, you might want to order pick up. Delivery driver was very kind and friendly. Would order again.

We ordered the pineapple upside-down French toast and the shrimp and grits. The French toast was yummy. It was a different twist to French toast but good. We didn't care for the grits too much, but the shrimp and the sauce were tasty. My uncle enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. My husband switched his coffee for a vanilla spiced latte and was wowed. It was so savory. We have visited the Ruby Slipper in New Orleans before, and we will definitely be visiting both locations again in the future.

Exceptional breakfast location right in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our server was fast, friendly and cheerful. The omelette was perfectly prepared and filled, and the cat’s had biscuit was a perfect addition to the plate. I ate every bit of it! The atmosphere is loud enough if you bring your children, but not enough if you wanna have a quiet cup of coffee for breakfast Recommended

I was visiting my grandparents in Foley, and my girlfriend and I decided to go out for breakfast. We stopped by this location on 5/29/25, and we had a kind lady by the name of Crystal as our server. She provided excellent service—friendly, attentive, and very patient with all our questions about the menu. It was clear she took pride in her work and genuinely enjoyed what she was doing. The coffee was great, and the food was even better. The only downside was the side of catfish I ordered. For $8, the portion was quite small, the texture was soggy, and it tasted more like swai than catfish. Other than that, we really enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere. We’d definitely come back!

We had a great breakfast at The Ruby Slipper in Orange Beach! Everything we ordered—from the Benedicts to the omelet and breakfast tacos—was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere had a fun, welcoming vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal. Our server, Carson, was awesome. Super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. He made the whole experience even better. If you’re in the area and looking for a quality brunch spot, Ruby Slipper is definitely worth a visit!

Came here today to surprise my Dad with a little treat. Was immediately greeted by Nate the bartender. Had my pup with me so we chose to sit in the patio lounge area. Crystal, was very friendly and recommended we get the Eggs Cochon Chicken St Charles. AMAZING!! Been here a couple times this WEEK. Service is always A-1. Please try the biscuits n gravy if you’re in town. Also, full bar service and a HUGE dinning area. Guess I’ll be back tomorrow😎

Crystal was a wonderful server and very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us some great suggestions of menu favorites. It was a great dining experience and I would highly recommend The Ruby Slipper!!!

If you’re anywhere near Orange Beach and not stopping by Ruby Slipper, you’re seriously missing out. We popped in for brunch and was instantly greeted with that Southern warmth that makes you feel like you’re visiting family (the kind you actually like). The Eggs Benedict? Absolute showstopper. Perfectly poached eggs, velvety hollandaise, and just the right kick of flavor, it’s the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and say, “Okay, wow.” Service was top notch too. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which, let’s be honest, makes all the difference when you’re still waking up and in desperate need of coffee and kindness. Ruby Slipper nails the brunch game. Already planning my next visit.

Luna's Eat & Drink is a laid-back, family-friendly bar and grill in Orange Beach that offers a unique blend of coastal and Southern cuisine. The restaurant boasts an original menu with plenty of fresh seafood and Southern flair. It is known for serving the best Bushwackers in town and offers delicious appetizers like Beer Cheese Dip, Fried Pork Skins with pimento cheese, and Pimento Hushpuppies.
I recently had lunch at this charming spot, and it was a true gem! The restaurant is set in a beautifully restored house with cozy, Southern charm and gorgeous grounds that make you feel right at home. The menu is all about down home Southern comfort food—think A meat-and-3 lunch plates, Nashville hot chicken, and the best shrimp and grits you’ve ever tasted. I stopped in for a light lunch and settled on a cup of gumbo and the deviled eggs appetizer. Wow, the gumbo hits you at the first spoonful. This is good stuff but a light roux. I loved that the deviled eggs came with a scoop of pimiento cheese topped with some fresh pork rinds and bread and butter pickles. Everything was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was warm and friendly, and the laid-back, inviting atmosphere made for a perfect, relaxed meal. Do not, whatever you do, skip the fried pecan pie dessert. I don’t normally eat dessert but I was in one of those moods and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself lately. The fried pie came with a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of Bourbon molasses that we could all eat by the spoonful if allowed. If you're looking for authentic Southern food in a peaceful, scenic setting, this place is a must-visit!

We were looking for a place with a lot of variety, and Luna's for the bill. I had the Beerger burger, and it was really good. I asked for medium, and it was cooked a little longer than medium but still good. My wife got a small Caesar salad with blackened chicken. She commented on how amazing the chicken was. We ordered appetizers, hush puppies and firecracker shrimp. The hush puppies were especially good with a slight hint of pimento doing with blueberry pepper jelly. So good! Our friends ordered jambalaya Mac n cheese, and it was so smooth and creamy good. The ambiance was really nice. It's busy, but it wasn't overly loud. Our server, Avian, was amazing. She was funny and super helpful with recommendations. Five stars, highly recommended!

If you’re craving amazing seafood and crab legs, Luna’s is the place to be! After hearing mixed reviews about other local spots—including a less-than-stellar experience at Zeke’s—I was hesitant to try another restaurant nearby. But after reading multiple positive reviews, we decided to give Luna’s a shot, and I’m so glad we did. The seasoning was spot-on, the homemade dips were delicious, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was wonderful throughout our meal. Overall, Luna’s exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience!

Went for the $11 lunch specials that comes with 3 sides. I have the Luna house Brew with the braised collards(best I’ve tasted) mash n gravy and the Mac n cheese. Did I forget the hand breaded Nashville chicken, so tender and flavorful. Will be back for happy hour specials!

Had a great experience here at Lunas. We go to orange beach every year for vacation and we wanted to try out Lunas as we have never been. The food was awesome. I got fried crab legs and my wife got a steamer platter. The service was awesome as our server was very nice and very helpful. They also have live music out side with a kids play area. Really recommend this place!

We found this spot by searching Google reviews. We went around 2pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. The building and courtyard were so peaceful and home-like. Shantel was our waitress, and she gave us excellent recommendations. She was very kind and welcoming. We had the pimento bites appetizer, but I was disappointed. It was more like a corn fritter. Nothing like I expected. However, the crab and artichoke appetizer was so good we had to buy one to go!!!!! Highly recommend! My family and I all got the meat and three. Between us, we had catfish, grilled fish of the day, and Mahi Mahi. We also had mac and cheese, green beans, mashed sweet potatoes, roasted red potatoes, collard greens, fries, and cornbread. We were NOT let down. Everything was well seasoned and cooked well. We will put this on our list to visit again.
April S — Google review
Went with a bunch of apps and sides and wasn’t disappointed. The catfish whiskers were surprisingly great! The red potatoes were okay. The Brussels sprouts were great! The flights of beers are fun! You can look at a list of 32 different options and get a 3 or 5 beer flight. Always enjoy that option.

The diverse menu features a blend of local favorites and unique culinary creations, providing an unforgettable dining experience for friends and family. Whether you choose to dine inside or outside, you'll be treated to a romantic atmosphere with sparkling lights at night.
My first time in Orange Beach, Alabama and this is the first restaurant I go to. Beyond my expectations! Such a cool place to eat! There is an incredible amount of seating here; Indoor and outdoor. There’s a bar you can sit at. There was live music. It sits on the water and you can walk out on a long floating pier. The food was incredible! My server did leave me sitting there wanting something once or twice, but they were very, very busy and he was very kind and respectful.

Our first place we visited on this trip. Mind blown!! Kenny was our server and we took all his recommendations and he was spot on. Great service and he was great advice on what was great dining. Views and ambiance were perfect. All the employees knew their role on the team and they were feeding a lot of people great food. 3 days later I am still craving those Empanadas again. Ordered those!!! I had the blackened catch of the day which was Swordfish and Parmesan Grits. Dessert we ordered two - Deep fried Coconut Cream Pie and the Chocolate Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce. Drinks were great too. We left there thinking how are we ever going to top this night. Outstanding place to dine, relax and know that you are going to be treated well and that your business will be earned at GTs.

This is a fun place for dinner. They were on a 40 minute wait so we opted for faster service at the bar. They were very busy and the service was a bit slow, however appetizers came out almost immediately which was nice. The pork chop is amazing and I definitely recommend. The bourbon glaze is phenomenal. I opted for mashed Yukon potatoes over the sweet potatoes and they did not disappoint. I also loved the Cajun empanadas. My sister got the crab legs and they came out like warm and were hard to crack/eat because of it. They were also pretty small in size. They have a large patio that leads out to the dock which was beautiful at sunset. There was live music on the patio as well.
Alyssa C — Google review
The food and service are first rate. GT's is part of a group of restaurants that feature great food and service! This doesn't happen by accident, and their operation isn't hit and miss. I had collard greens, smashed Yukon potatoes and the Yellowfin tuna. My goodness gracious it was good! My friend had the Seared Atlantic Salmon Salad. We each ordered a craft draft beer because it was Happy Hour. Both beers were good! We traded "tastes" of our entrees, and my friend's salmon was excellent! We didn't have room for dessert, but maybe next time. We dined alfresco because of the lovely weather. The view of the bay is beautiful! There is a large aquarium inside with a few large saltwater fish. There is a large outdoor playground for children. There was entertainment this evening. A guitarist/singer who sang very well. I highly recommend GT's!
Doug ( — Google review
GT’s sit overlooking Wolf Bay off of Canal Road deep in the heart of Orange Beach. As a wide assortment menu and they have a stone hearth pizza oven and a small salad bar. With a heavy Cajun influence, if you keep a Levitical, Kosher or Halal diet, you will have a hard time finding enough selections at GT’s. Order carefully as many of their offerings have items embedded in them that do not fit with those diets. The appetizer portions are minimal. It’s a big loud restaurant with a gift shop at the entrance, a fish pond in the middle, a big open deck with musical entertainment, bar and a big sandbox with a pirate ship for the children. All this with the background of a lovely view to the bay. A suggestion is to look at the menu before you venture out and make sure there is enough items that fit within your diet. If you don’t partake in pork and shellfish, you will have to settle on something you can get anywhere else. Come on GT’s be inclusive, review and update your menu.

We sat outside by the bay for lunch. It was comfortable even though it is warm. The service was fast and friendly. The lunch specials were excellent food and large servings for the money! Took a walk to the end of the peir and sat in the large chair!
Janette Z — Google review
If you are looking for great food at a good value with nice atmosphere, this is the place. We ate here twice for lunch while on vacation in Orange Beach. The GT Special Shrimp Salad, Salmon Salad, and Sunday Brunch Special- Blacked Salmon Benedict were all awesome dishes. The patio area was covered in the last year or so giving it a much more comfortable temperature while viewing the wild life and boat traffic on the bay. Friendly but busy staff. If I'm not mistaken they also have a $10 non seafood lunch menu. At certain times they have live music, we generally prefer to listen to the ocean breeze.

Nestled in the vibrant Wharf area, The Southern Grind Coffee House is a delightful haven for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. This cozy spot offers an array of breakfast delights, from hearty spinach and mushroom scrambles to delectable avocado egg melts. For lunch, indulge in their mouthwatering paninis or fresh salads tailored to meet various dietary preferences, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Went to this coffee shop awhile back on a girls trip in Orange Beach. The restaurant is connected to Hotel Indigo, but there is parking right outside of the coffee shop as well. If you are in the area and in search of a good breakfast/brunch spot…look no further. Breakfast menu has a wide selection and there’s enough there to choose from to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. We ate here almost every day for breakfast and each time, we were highly satisfied with the service and quality of food. They had so many delicious coffee drinks to choose from, and drink customizations included milk alternatives and decaf coffee as well. There are booths and tables inside, but outside dining is also available and it’s clean. Overall, the experience eating here was outstanding, and I will definitely be back when vacationing in the area again.

This is our first time checking out this place and what they were about. The staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful. I had the avocado toast with bacon and hot honey, it was delicious!!! I'm a big fan and will be coming back for sure

We had breakfast and coffee. Surprisingly Southern Grind has the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life. We also had lovely outdoor seating which accommodated us with our little dog. While we were there the police chief came by to say hello and pet our dog! The coffee was amazing and we bought some whole bean coffee to take home. It was an excellent experience. You can’t get more southern hospitality than this place.

We were so impressed by Southern Grind's Coffee that we came back the next day for lunch! We are from the PNW and are coffee fanatics. It was refreshing to have some coffee/espresso that wasn't overpowering and tasted like it was made with love and still had coffee flavor. The lunch was reasonably priced and exactly what we were craving. Light and filling! The vibe was great and I think the items for sale within the store were super cute. I even got a little dolphin stuffed animal while getting our coffee!

We didn't have reservations, but they found seats for my wife and I. We were pleased to hear a singer softly playing guitar & singing. Shelly quickly arrived and offered the special of the day. We deferred: wife ordered grilled shrimp and pasta...more than she could eat! She said it was delicious. I ordered Ribeye, medium. It turned out to be one of the best ribeyes I have ever eaten! Easily in the top 5, maybe top 3! Not cheap, but no complaints. We both ordered a house margarita and it was fabulous! Shelly was attentive, but not invasive...perfect service for a delightful meal makes for a memorable experience. ( $125 including tip)

My husband researched a delicious restaurant for our 6th anniversary dinner and this place got great reviews. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed live music, $3 pours, and scrumptious food, not to mention great service. It's not fancy, but it's warm and quaint and was a great spot to celebrate. We shared the surf-n-turf, the grouper and molten lava cake for dessert; all were so tasty!

Somebody recommended that we go to the Cork room before we went to the play at the community center, I was very impressed with the atmosphere and a great bartender. I thought it was really mediocre for the price. Shrimp scampi Was good but nothing to brag about, my friend got the cheese ravioli. There was no bread service. That was very disappointing !! Sorry but Walmarts Is two blocks away,. I know it’s Walmart but at least they have fresh baked bread. It’s better than none. it didn’t seem like she was too surprised (The bartender ) there was no bread service,,, once again bar service was great and very knowledgeable helpful my friends enjoyed half-price glasses of wine. I got the strawberry shortcake as a dessert. And it was good. Definitely plenty of heavy whipping cream . Not the typical white whipped cream but I did enjoy it

Doc’s Seafood and Steaks is a popular dining spot with several locations, offering a laid-back atmosphere and a menu filled with Gulf Coast favorites. The original location on Canal Road in Orange Beach is known for its expansive offerings of steak and seafood, including the best fried shrimp, delicious seafood gumbo, and fresh oysters. Additionally, they offer to cook up your own catch if you've had a successful day fishing.
If a place advertises "The best fried shrimp in the entire civilized world" you have to give them a try! I enjoyed the fried shrimp, for sure. I was a bigger fan of the stuffed crab. Something different here: you prepare your own cocktail sauce. They give you a little plastic cup with horseradish in it, then you add the ketchup, worsheshire sauce and lemon. It was actually pretty good! Now, I know how to make my own. This is a family friendly restaurant. They had games and things outside. There are also other locations.

If youre looking for casual, laid back and relaxed dining - this is it. Easy menu. Kid friendly. We split a basket - half fried shrimp (amazing) half fried crab cakes (not our favorite). Ordered a skewer of butter grilled shrimp and that was way better. Kid menu options too. Live music and games outside for the kids!

I’ve always enjoyed Doc’s fried fish and was impressed with the grilled fish flavor and juiciness. First time to this new location and it’s very nice compared to the original; although i do like the round tables at the other location more than the long tables for large groups. This new location is also very loud. We had a great experience with our group, great service and delicious food. And as always the hushpuppies are the highlight of my meal. They are by far my favorite of any in this area.

I came here to Orange Beach for vacation with my Mom and stepfather last month. We went to a restaurant almost every day we were here, including this seafood restaurant. We went on Columbus Day with about 40 classmates from the Foley Class of 73. They were able to sit us in an area where we were all together, we had several awesome servers assigned to us. Everyone present seemed to really enjoy their meals.

I heard great reviews about this location so my family and I decided to try it. I just don't understand. It was a lot of food but the flavor just wasn't there. Our waitress for some reason had an attitude most of the night. She acted like she didn't want to be there and we were a bother. We tried to just let it go but it made the visit somewhat awkward. It just wasn't worth it for the price we paid.

Doc’s Seafood delivers that laid-back beach shack vibe you want after a long day in the sun. Their fried shrimp often steals the show crispy, well seasoned.., and satisfying. Some dishes (like gumbo or red snapper) land okay, but occasionally lean a bit bland or salty. Service tends to be friendly and fast, though during busy times you’ll feel the wait. Atmosphere is relaxed, casual, with that local charm. Prices can run a bit high for what you get, but overall it’s a solid stop if you’re craving seafood and don’t need fancy.

Came for dinner to try what was claimed to be the best shrimp in civilization. The waitress was very nice but mixed our drinks up upon arrival to the table. As far as the shrimp goes it was okay wouldn't say it was the best as advertised. But over all it was a fun atmosphere.

What a great place to enjoy a happy hour mid day. This lil hidden gem was just my sorta place. Cute and kinda shabby chic joint. Tina was our waitress. She was the only one working the front. She was taking orders, making cocktails, even shuckin oysters and keeping us happy. We ordered from the regular and brunch menus. The flight of roasted oysters, the pork belly naan tacos for apps. The tacos were to die for, literally! We ordered the fried stuff, fish sandwich, the brunch burger and the brunch bowl. Everything was seasoned perfectly no s&p needed. They forgot the egg on my bowl so she comped my bloody mary. Very thoughtful and nice. It was almost an hour drive but totally worth it. There's inside and outside dining. We sat inside because it was cold out.

My wife and I watched one lone waitress take care of the inside as well as all of the outside tables by herself 20 plus people and did not fail to deliver great service! Bleus Burger is an excellent burger restaurant that offers a variety of toppings for their burgers. You can also customize your fries with parmesan truffle seasoning and gorgonzola cheese. The service at Bleus Burger is ok, but the waitress is great.
After a 14 hour drive, we settled into our condo and went looking a local place to get dinner. We happened upon Bleus Burgers and couldn’t have been more pleased. If you're serious about your burgers then this is where you need to go! We had the fried pickles which were no joke! Not a one was even close to soggy or burnt they were all golden and delicious. I had the Boogie Woogie burger, he had the Memphis Slim burger. The burgers were seasoned perfectly the toppings didn't take away from the burger but enhanced it just right. The "fries" oh my I've never tasted taters from a restaurant like these! I don't even know how to describe the seasoning on the taters! They were incredible!! This is definitely without a doubt a place you need to try out! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

After having all the seafood places we could handle, our Midwest bellies were craving a good burger mixed with some BBQ. The burnt end fries were amazing, the wings, the burgers were amazing! Wish we would have found this place sooner than our last 2 days here. Our waiter Austin, was absolutely the best server we have had down here this trip!
Jennifer G — Google review
This place was really good. The food was fresh and the burgers were juicy. Our waitress was very pleasant while taking our order. Also recommended local favorites on the menu.
Jesse A — Google review
The best fried pickles we have ever had! Absolutely beautiful and equally delicious burgers- and i’m not typically a burger fan! We came on a Sunday at around 11 and the restaurant was mostly empty. Food came out quickly and was super fresh, all staff were super helpful and friendly especially our waiter! We will absolutely be back :)
Alyxandra O — Google review
The servers were great. While it is a smaller restaurant, I only ever saw two employees who were covering the bar, the seating, the registers, and all the tables. There were probably about 10 tables with around 25 guests, but the servers worked quickly and efficiently. The food was fantastic. It can be hard to find the burger that's just right for you because of all the weird names and unique ingredients, but you can always get something you don't want removed. And their "Potato Dippers" are the absolute best! The server described them as a hybrid between potato skins and potato wedges. They're not super thick but have a lot of "surface area", and their Cajun seasoning they put on them reminds me a lot of Zaxby's fries, but way better!

Seafood restaurant
Mile Marker 158 is a waterfront restaurant located at the Wharf with a picturesque view of the boat docks. The menu features delectable dishes such as Beef Tenderloin Bites and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, which are highly recommended by visitors. The restaurant offers great happy hour deals and an inviting outdoor seating area. Guests praise the attentive service and delightful food, including the shrimp and grits and roasted oysters.
Stopped for lunch on 6/22/25. We were quickly seated and immediately served fresh bread right out of the oven. For the main course, I had the “Fish of the Day” (grilled grouper). It was cooked to absolute savory perfection! Sides of smashed potatoes & green beans were also delicious. Delicious food, fast and friendly service! Highly recommended!

This was the best meal we had while staying in Orange Beach. The seafood pasta was insane! Amazing key lime pie and great cocktails. We also had the calamari and Grouper and both were top notch! Our server Charlie was amazing as well!
Kristin K — Google review
Calamari was good, not steaks as listed in the menu but normal circles. Raw oysters were good and shucked properly. Tortellini and house salad were good as well. Service was slow and not great but the food got there. Nice views. Very convenient to hotel and the wharf, would return.
Kayne P — Google review
They have a GREAT happy hour! The server was superrr nice but I think he was new so he didn't know a ton of info but the deals were fantastic. The oysters were $1, the shrimp scampi pasta was only $12 and so good. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back if in town!
Taylor E — Google review
Nice small waterfront restaurant. We had the raw oysters, a rum runner, loaded tots and both had the lasagna special. The special was $14.99 and came with a large piece of lasagna, salad, bread and choice of wine or draft beer. The loaded tots were $12 and a very small portion for an appetizer. The rum runner was $18 and not that great. The lasagna special was great. And our waitress was awesome. Food came quickly. I highly recommend the Wednesday lasagna special.
Dana B — Google review
Great experience and awesome food. We came early for dinner-around 430/5. They have an amazing special - $1 oysters. They were great- nice and big! Everything we got was wonderful. We tried the calamari which was very good. Then for dinner we had the salmon, pineapple mahi, burger, and the ponchartrain - everything was amazing!!!! Service was great. One of us gets a burger everywhere- and this was by far the best one this vacation. Would highly recommend this place.
Penny Y — Google review
Very quaint restaurant with very good food, great views and convenient to the tours for the area. The interior seating is a bit loud; however, the patio seating has both covered and uncovered with great waterfront views.
Wallace F — Google review
We were able to sit outside facing the boats and water. All three of us had a drink, Cosmo, Sunset Martini, and a glass of wine. My sister in law and I had the Mahi which was delicious with the risotto. My husband had the surf and turf which was filet mingon and a crab cake. We all really enjoyed our food. We split the Key Lime Pie for dessert. Our waitress was fantastic and checked on us numerous times. I could not take any more fried seafood which seemed to be mostly on every restaurants menu. We all couldn't have been happier with our choice.

Cafe
Coffee shop
Espresso bar
Southern Shores Coffee is an artisanal coffee shop located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They are a family-owned business that sources responsibly-grown coffee beans from around the world and roasts them on-site to create specific flavor profiles. Their signature blend, the Bushwacker coffee, is flavored with cream of coconut and chocolate undertones, giving it a rich and full-bodied taste reminiscent of the beloved beach cocktail.
My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. We love the beachy atmosphere. We both got the iced Caramel Coast coffees. I got the chocolate chip muffin and he got the ham and egg bagel sandwich. All was super delicious! And I love the blue "waves" on our coffees. Recommend!
Courtney I — Google review
This is a fun shop with a beachy atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and helped me decide what drink to get. She made it quickly and it tasted so good! I vacationed here for a week and went twice. There is a good donut shop next door that goes great with a coffee from here!
Jodi L — Google review
The bushwhacker coffee plus some creamer tastes EXACTLY like a non-alcoholic bushwhacker! I've never had flavored coffee that tastes exactly like what it says it is! I talked with the owner who said he actually makes his own flavorings and then roasts it himself . So cool! They will even ship it to you! They have a little stand in the front of the shop where you can taste test the different flavors. I also really liked the blueberry and birthday cake coffee flavors ♥️ Also, the Cuban coffee was amazing! Espresso and sweetened condensed milk. So worth trying! 10/10 recommend this place!
Kelly P — Google review
This is such a charming little coffee shop with a fun beachy vibe. It’s a really relaxing place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The coffee itself was very good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of spot where you can just slow down, enjoy your drink, and soak in the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Karen S — Google review
Came here from out of town today …not so great customer service . Unfriendly workers . The coffee was “mid”—it was just okay and all they offered was almond milk as a substitute which is very outdated . Running a business requires people skills and these people don’t really have any .We almost wanted to turn around and walk out of the door because we felt so uncomfortable . I came here because of the seemingly high ratings but idk where the ratings came from. It’s also dead silent in there and there was no one even sitting in there which is very odd for a coffee shop . They also just awkwardly stared at us . Go and decide yourself I guess ! We ended up wasting our money and going down the road to a different coffee shop .
Faith B — Google review
As a person who loves coffee and seeing this local shop on google with great reviews and highly rated I had to come in and try it out. As soon as walked in was greeted by super nice staff. The gentleman and the lady talked to me about their coffee and how they drank it which was pretty cool of them to do. I ordered the mocha latte and it was very good! I would come back
Isaac B — Google review
My husband and I enjoyed our coffees there. Good service and nice employee
Gianna O — Google review
Quaint coffee shop, cute decor. Service was fast. Nice variety menu. The owner and cashier, Alyssa, were very friendly and down to earth. Salted caramel latte was perfectly made, buttery caramel taste with a hint of salt. My husbands Cuban latte was also perfectly made, strong with a hint of milk. This is definitely a place worth visiting.

Subway is a popular fast-casual chain known for its customizable sandwiches and salads, offering a variety of healthy options. Located at 25814 Canal Rd, Suite 10 in Orange Beach, AL, this counter-serve restaurant provides build-your-own meals. It has gained fame not only for its food but also because it is situated near attractions such as the Cotton Bayou Public Beach Access.
There is a new couple that owns this subway and they are so wonderful! You can tell that they put their heart and soul into this Restaurant. The bread and veggies Are always so fresh. Compared to the other subways That are around, This is buy far the best one!
Angela W — Google review
Watch them close, or they Will skimp on the amount of food you are supposed to get. I noticed 3 times i have been here, and spoke up on day 3. She tried to fool me, but I have had the same sandwich (my favorite)at many subways. I know exactly how much meat and fixings comes on it.
Anthony E — Google review
Recently visited here and left because employees were not following Subway sanitation standards and best practices by: -- not wearing head/hair coverings -- not washing their hands thoroughly before making a sandwich -- accepting payment with gloves on and them going back to making sandwiches without changing their gloves -- taking off one glove to accept payment and then instead of washing hands and getting new gloves they simply slipped the glove back on and continued making sandwiches -- touching their face with their gloves on and making sandwiches I was pretty grossed out and unable to eat here the past three times I've visited.
Koraya A — Google review
Under new management a couple of years ago , this Subway is the best on the island. period! They take their time and get it right.
Eric D — Google review
Our sandwiches were great no complaints

EVERYONE BEHIND COUNTER BARELY UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH. Have to repeat yourself and point the entire time. Took over 10 mins to make a simple sandwich
Austin I — Google review
Only 1 worker that only used one set of gloves, going between making my sandwich, baking bread, and going back and forth to toaster oven. Then the men's bathroom. I'll attach pics but the smell is what was even worse.

Garbage! Worst Subway I’ve ever eaten at. Look at the quality of our sandwiches! Terrible customer service! Terrible sandwiches!

The Sugar Shack & Cafe, located at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama, is a delightful spot offering hand-dipped and soft-serve ice cream, gourmet chocolates, and an array of candies. Their menu includes Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream, soft serve ice cream, ICEE drinks, and more. Visitors can also indulge in delectable treats like cakes, cookies, truffles, milkshakes and malts.
I was so hesitant to visit here because of the reviews about the customer service. However, we gave it a try and were definitely impressed. There was a mom and her daughter working and also a guy named Jake I believe. All 3 of them were super friendly. When we entered, Jake immediately approached and greeted us and started playing with my 10 month old. They even remembered us when we came back later in the evening for snacks and were super friendly then even though it was about 10 minutes until they closed. The food and service were 10/10! I had the cheeseburger and my son had the BLT. Both were delicious and fairly priced. We will definitely be back!

The most delicious onion rings I have had in my life, crispy outside and melty inside. The little lady behind the counter is just as sweet and capable as a person could be. You can tell she takes pride in her work. She took my order and I had my food in 6 minutes! Plus the claw machine is one of the fair ones, and I was able to win a prize. This is the best time I have had on my lunch break in a while. Please check it out!
Staz M — Google review
Mom (aka Ms Susan) took such good care of us. Food was incredible! Service was quick and food was amazing for the price. Low price, seriously tatsy food and FABULOUS service. BEST place at the Wharf! Treat yourself beyond worth it!

Ms. Susie made my food so well & she was just so kind & full of joy!! She carried the joy of the Lord in that place & i felt so welcome!!! You can tell she is so passionate about her job, it’s in her attitude, gratitude, & out look! Tim was also working & he was so wonderful! Considerate, friendly, & patient with my family with 2 little ones there! Thank you both for making our experience in Orange Beach one we will NEVER forget!!

I came into the sugar shack not knowing anything about the place. I left Feeling like I had known them my whole life. Darrell was so nice. (More fries Darell, lol). If you visit Orange Beach and especially the Wharf, go check em out. Oh yeah, food was great too. Burger and fries was a burger and fries.
Adam B — Google review
Rude staff. Wouldn’t let 2 people share a drink because they would “loose 2 dollars.” Food is okay, but gas station average. Felt rushed to order, Wouldn’t recommend! (P.s. food is EXPENSIVE!! One 2 inch bar of chocolate was 15.99 and hamburger 18.99!!!)
Bubblegum — Google review
Terrible service, should have looked at that bad review before entering. Felt rushed to order and was told I quote "can't share a drink?" What in the heck is that about? Terrible atmosphere, neither of the two in there seemed to like us or there job. Asked for a box for our food after eating and was criticized and almost was refused. Don't come here.

Susie & Tim were amazing workers!! My wife, daughter, & i truly enjoyed this experience & it wouldn’t have been unforgettable without these two hardworking individuals!
